I think Duke got the shaft. The more I'm looking
at this, I don't know what would be the what
(04:12):
would be the perks that come along with the number
one overall seed when you end up in the region
that they've got. When you've got Kansas, who's probably got
the best player in college bass or at least you know,
the highest rated NBA prospect. You've got that. You've also
got Yukon championship pedigree there, You've got Michigan State. You
(04:38):
just look at the coaches that Duke's gonna have to
go against, whether it's Tom Izzo or Rick Patino, whether
it's Dan Hurley. It just feels like even Bill self
of Kansas obviously, it just feels like this is by
far and away the most difficult region of the tournament.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
And so.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
If they were too and get through that, I could
understand why they would be the odds on favorite to
win it all. But that's gonna be a tall task
considering who they've got to face all the way throughout
that region.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yeah, we kind of talked about it to open up
the show. It's just a tough drawl for a team
that's the number one overall seed. And I understand this,
there's somewhat regionality that plays a role in this, but
just to think, I mean again, you could be facing
Ohio State's all time leading scorer with Bryce Thorton Junior.
I mean, he's he's a heck of a player. If
if Ohio State beats TCU, Saint John's would be most
(05:32):
likely the team you'd be playing, you know, following that,
depending on the winner between them and Kansas, although again
it could be Kansas. It's just you're talking about about
of somewhat blue bloods that you'd be going through. One
cool story. I'm not sure if you guys have followed
Brian Hutchins. He's the head coach at South Florida. It's
pretty neat. His dad's battling dementia and he's never been
(05:56):
able to go watch him coach. And he's gonna be
able to make it because I was. They're in the
East Region, so he's gonna be close enough. You know,
it's close to his hometown. I believe they're playing in
Buffalo to be to go watch them for the first time,
So there's all kinds of cool stories they come along
with their tournament. But you know it's gonna be fun
to watch. I mean that Louisville game would be a
good matchup two versus USF probably one of the better
(06:16):
matchups in that region.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
I'm excited to see what Arizona does, obviously being a
big tenor. I'm excited to see what Michigan does, see
how they do it. But I mean, the wind blows
highest at the top of the flag pole and they
got you know, Duke got a tough draw. But I
think they're built to be able to make this run.
I think it's a It's a team that's shown all
(06:39):
year they're resilient, they find ways to make the big plays.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
They're not afraid of the big games. They got.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
They have big game experience going into this, and there's
a level of it. This is always a discussion point,
but it's there's a level of maturity that's there for
for this team as well, especially you know, with with
the idea of having leadership from you know, the Boozer Twins.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
So I just I look at it, I look at it.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
I say that this this is a team that has
the pedigree of carrying that that torch for for the
Duke Blue Devils, and it'll be interesting to see if
they can indeed live up to the hype.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
I mean, and I wouldn't say it's all. I wouldn't
say it's hype.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
I would I would certainly say they are deserving of
the attention that they they have received heading into it.
Tough draw or not, I think that this team is
built to make that run. There's also the element of.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
They should have won that game against Houston in the
Final four last year. They really gagged it away, And
I wonder if there's not to say that there isn't
always some element of pressure in this tournament for everybody.
But I do wonder if you know, you get into
a late game situation, or if a game's tight, and
if there's any any thought in John Shire's head of hey,
(08:08):
we were here last year with the best player in
college basketball, and we weren't able to pull through last year.
I mean, Houston had no business winning that game last year,
and you know there was some questionable calls and all that.
But I do wonder how much of that, you know,
could could impact their performance this year. I also wonder
did you see the you mentioned Michigan. Did you see
(08:29):
that JJ McCarthy was at the Michigan Purdue Big Ten
Championship game? So I guess he posted some video that
he was at the game there and once Michigan lost.
It might have been Barstool Sports photoshopped a picture of
JJ McCarthy walking into the locker room wearing number nine.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
That it was Barstool.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
By the way, he's just never going to live that down.
That's never.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
That's why I said, were kicking it around last week.
What's the solution for J. J. McCarthy's got to change.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Numbers, chase his numbers.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
He's got to change numbers, got to get away.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Change team changes, or we have to do something so
drastic with his hair. People were like, what wait, what,
why'd you do that?
Speaker 3 (09:13):
It's interest from the ninth.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Yeah, it's like he's he's literally got to create a
diversion or distraction that makes people so caught off guard,
like that goes viral. It like keeps it away from
the number nine thing where like something else goes viral
and then he's known kind of for that.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Or just make some more play.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
You're right, I mean will we get the opportunity though.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
With yeah, probably not that probably won't be the case.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
But yeah, so how do you guys?
Speaker 5 (09:48):
Because I was warnering about this with Miami of Ohio
because there was the big conversation about whether or not
they would get in, and I thought it was ridiculous
that they would get in. But I did wonder if
they were going to be thrown in to the playing
games because because of the story and I know that
you know, this is about you know, it's about what
happens on the floor, and it's about best team should
(10:09):
move on, et cetera, et cetera. But storylines help every
sporting event going into it is from a discussion from
an interest standpoint, just for more of a casual fan,
the fact that you are going to get Miami of
Ohio in Dayton in a playing game, I do feel
like eyeballs are going to be on that game because
everybody one side of the fence or the other they
(10:30):
belong or they don't belong. You're going to be able
to see it in a standalone situation coming up on Wednesday,
So I do feel like that is kind of a
benefit to that.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Today it's going to be like a home game. It's
forty two miles away from Oxford Dane University is so
it should be an awesome atmosphere if it's anywhere close
to what they've been able to replicate during the course
of the regular season, where they've had some sellout crowds.
You've seen Ron Harper there. You know, they kind of
bring out the celebs, like it should be an awesome
(11:02):
environment in Dayton for that game. And and look, I'll
say this, I was talking with someone in one of
my buddiesh went to my Ohio, and I just kind
of recalled when we were young, Like when you watched
Wally play on that team. You know, he carried them,
but he looked like an NBA player, Like you were
watching him going that dude's gonna be playing in the
NBA someday. I don't know that. I watched that team
(11:24):
and feel the same way about these players. They're a
good team. I'm not taking anything away from what they've accomplished,
but you don't look at them with that same sort
of star powerhere you go, you know he can carry them.
Like we talked about ACU for Arkansas, like as good
as Arkansas is around him, like that dude can carry
(11:44):
them to a Final four. He's that talented of a player.
I don't know that they have anyone like that. So
they they're much more reliant on playing within the margins,
and I think we saw that play out this year
where they won the vast majority of them. However, they
end up slip up versus U Mass, a team who
they had no business losing to. And I remember, I actually,
(12:05):
I'll be honest, I've turned off the game with eight
minutes left. They're up eight or nine points in that game.
I'm like, all right, they've got this covered, you know,
they should move on, and sure enough, they end up
gagging away in the end. So that's the problem with
this team is I don't know that they've got a
guy that you can truly rely on, you know. I
think they've got to play an entire team game and win,
(12:25):
you know, win the turnover marchin you know, be shooting
well from threes, hit hit your free throws, like, stay
out of foul trouble.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Like.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
I don't think they have enough depth either to be
able to support them and trying to make a run.
They've got to be like one of those lights out
shooting teams we see through the rest of.
Speaker 5 (12:40):
The tournament seven and a half point underdogs against SMU
on Wednesday.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
Well, Miami, Hi, there, you guys could go up top.
They're their top. Three guys are up top guys.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Come on, man, come on, so and.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
They're averaging two of them are averaging fourteen while the
third is averaging thirteen. You got Shooter and Buyers are
are averaging. They'll give you fourteen. They'll I mean, they're
moderate on his sister, moderate on steals. As as q's mentioning,
they're they're not you know, they're not a column They're
(13:18):
not they're not stat column warriors.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
I see it. They have to sugarcoat it.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
They're not that good. I mean, you.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Understand why there was the concern about them getting in
because everyone's watching it going it's a great season.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
But yeah, it doesn't look like match up wise, they
they match up well, it is what I would say,
so don't I wouldn't be surprised if they're they're out pretty.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
Quickly, second in the country and scoring all right, averaging
almost ninety one points a game.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Well, you got to look at defense. How many they
give up?
Speaker 5 (13:54):
Listen, don't get caught up in the weeds here. Now
there was the discussion and Keith Gill, who was on
the post bracket reveal, discussed discussing.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
The just watched the guy run into a light pole really.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Like a real time, like I was.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
He just pulled up and clipped that light pole.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Oh yeah, do any damage?
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Uh I'm waiting, yeah, I mean probably to his front
right bumper, waiting for him to get out of the car.
He should back up. I mean, it's back it up, man.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
No, he's all right, just left it there, Yep, he's
just he's good.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
He's looking at assessing the damage and he's out of there.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Wow, must be a rental car.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
Oh yeah, sure, rentals differently, Hey, let the insurance handle it.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
He's he's hurrying though. It looks like he's in a hurry.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
So it's a rough way to start your Monday. Well
as far I mean, now that his car is injured,
he'll probably be interested in this. Because this was the
discussion and some of the conversation from NCAA Selection Committee
chairman Keith Gill, who was on CBS discussing how injuries
played into some of the bracket and the way it
(15:08):
was put together.
Speaker 6 (15:08):
We spent a lot of time obviously talking about Caleb Wilson,
and that certainly impact impacted the way we thought about
North Carolina. I would say the same with JT. Topping.
We actually talked about kind of Duke and kind of
some of the injuries that they're going through and just
noted they're going to be closer to full strength as
they get closer to the NCAA tournament. So I do
(15:29):
think injuries big theme. Player availability a big theme, and
that dominated a lot of our conversation as a committee.
Speaker 5 (15:36):
So as teams are getting healthier, they're sort of forecasting
where they would be viewed or where they would be
placed in the tournament, which I'm never and I know
what happens in college football, and you can go back
to was a Jordan Travis from Florida State and you know,
part of the reason why they didn't get in because
he wasn't healthy. But I don't know how you project
(15:59):
if a guy coming back from injury, they're just going
to automatically be a better team without them. Who knows,
maybe they found a rhythm without that player that's been missing.
Maybe they found And so the idea that you would
sort of.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
It's a hypothetical and that's the reality of it. There's
I mean, there's no way to dance around it. You're
making a decision and an assessment based off of projecting
what could potentially be, which I'm sure some people fall
on the side of agreeing with that and feel confident
about it, while others feel as though that's a it's
(16:35):
not not a fair way of going about doing it,
you know, and and they would probably most likely have
a good argument to support reasons why they wouldn't support
basing what you're doing off of a team quick air
quotes getting healthy. I mean, what if that guy go
what if those guys you're basing the ranking and the
(16:57):
seating off of, you know, rein themselves immediately upon the
start of the game, or just doesn't make it into
the game, even though it appeared that they were going
to make it, Like you just got to.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
Live with it.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Just seems strange to me, like like if a team accomplishes,
reward them based off of the accomplishment. If you're not
going to reward them off of the accomplishment, then you
kind of go back to what Pearl was talking about,
and you look at the record that they had based
off of the type of teams that they played. But
you're keeping smaller teams from having a fair opportunity to
(17:31):
get in or get a decent seed.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
So I don't. I just think it's a large conversation
that's hard to debate.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Give me an upset. Come on, boys, we got to
pick one, Like pick your team, pick your first round,
like yeah, and don't give me an eighty nine pick.
You know, give me something good.
Speaker 5 (17:51):
Well, I'm just gonna go to the five twelves.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
You better not pick my team, my high point team,
you better not pick them.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
To pick them, also a high scoring team, they're averaging.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
The game you get after it.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
Oh god, I don't like any of the.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
And I could pick Akron Max A two big conference,
now that's what that's what they're saying. They're making t shirts.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
Maybe McNeese over Vanderbilt, maybe maybe BU.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
But I don't.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
I don't like Northern because I think Saint John's uh
I got them winning a couple of games, so I
really need them to stick around, especially early on, because
I love Patinos so much. Because he also looks somewhat
like a vampire, so there's that, But he really does I.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Mean, you could pick Hawaii versus Arkansas, but I notice
you're kind of skirting that pick.
Speaker 5 (18:51):
Oh you know, I was going to bring this up.
So Aaron Torres, Fox sports radio host here, who knows
college hoops better than anybody in the business, he pointed
something out when it came up to coach cal and
we were kind of goofing and joking a little bit
earlier about you know, him winning the SEC title and
all that stuff and being celebrated and whatnot. Torres pointed
(19:12):
this out. Arkansas played on Sunday, their flying cross country
to play on Thursday, and if they advance to the
next weekend, have to fly back to the West Coast
for the second weekend.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
It's not a great bid for coach call It's not
in that respect.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
So I don't I don't think. I don't think that's
going to be a deep run this year for John Calipari.
But the idea that Kentucky fans still look at it
as success for US would be going further than than
Arkansas does because of coach cow I think is that
(19:47):
that is college sports and college fandom to a tea
right there, that you.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Makes a great thing. I'm sure I'm not sure why
you're you know, trying to I think it's crease.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
I think I think it's great. I just think it's.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
You're gonna all over your ass.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
You've really lost one. I don't know, you've really lost
sight of the you know, the whole goal, which is,
you know, to win win another championship. Of now you're
just saying, hey, forget that, like, let's focus on the
task at hand here. We cannot do worse than John
Calipari moving forward.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
What's interesting though, is this has been kind of John
Calipari's achilles heal, at least during his time when it
was at UK at the end. And it's odd to
me that like competing fan bases will will they'll throw
away the rest of the season and they'll look at the
tournament finish to basically determine like who had the better
year when this format we keep talking about it for Duke,
(20:42):
it hasn't really been set up for the number one
overall seed for success given their side of the bracket.
But just in reality, like it's like, all right, they
gonna have a great regular season, none of that matters.
If you don't do well in the tournament, you get
basically fired for that. It's the oddest thing for me
in a sport that plays enough games where you're awarding
like a team for the regular season, you know, championship,
(21:03):
and there's the conference tournament. There's everything that comes along
with it. But then it's like coaches will get fired
if they don't do well enough. By the way, my
pick is Achron. I'm taking Akron over Texas Tech. I
get it. You got all the old oil money, Cody Campbell,
everything else that goes along with it. Give me the
Zips baby upset in Texas Tech. And just like the
(21:23):
Red Raiders in the College Football Playoff getting bounced by
organ in their first game, I've got Achron bouncing out
Texas techs.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Whens Whens.
Speaker 7 (21:36):
I would have hit your drop, Jonas, but you didn't
sound very confident in your pick.
Speaker 5 (21:40):
I'm still trying to formulate my naked on cues.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
That's right, we're letting it all hang out.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
With I'm going with vcu Man. I threw it out there.
They got Carolina. I'm gonna get y'all a second one too.
Santa Clara against Yeah, upsets. Don't be surprised that Santa
(22:10):
Clara is advancing just because it's more about Kentucky than
it is about Santa Clara. But VCU is a good
team and they historically do pretty well in the tournament.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
So the team to watch for.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
I'm trying to see. So Texas Tech is currently a
seven and a half point favorite. I think that's the
shortest line on a twelve five, so that you might
have something there, Brady that might be.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Well, I mean some of us have were prepared for
this moment. You know, Jonas, I can't.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
Do an eight nine. Who are you looking at?
Speaker 1 (22:45):
Nine?
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Come on, who are you looking at? Jonas? Give us
a go?
Speaker 5 (22:50):
Well, now that I can't do an eight nine is
an upset?
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Okay? Who have you picked?
Speaker 5 (22:54):
If it wasn't eight nine, probably I would say VC
you is a sneaky against North Carolina because they mentioned
it and Keith Gill mentioned it with the injury, so
I would say that.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
But that's so you're just going to jump off. It's
not a step over top of mine.
Speaker 5 (23:13):
But it's not even that big of an upset because
it's an upset. North Carolina is a two and a
half point favor that's a big upset, Okay, I mean,
but you know, the betting odds would say, it's not
that big of an upset, So.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
Six versus eleven.
Speaker 5 (23:28):
From a seating from a seating standpoint, but from a
betting standpoint, it's not that big of an upset.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
Yeah, but the seatings take precedence over the betting. If
you're seated eleven versus a six, that's six should clearly
have a superior more of an opportunity to win that game.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
We will see. I mean, but I took VCU to
win that game. So there you go. That's my that's
my upset the Rams.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here

We're going to close up shop in about fifteen minutes
from now with another edition of the Leftovers that will
be yours right here on FSR.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
We did have.
Speaker 5 (26:12):
At least a little bit of an update on the
story that keeps on giving in the National Football League.
Did you know that AJ Brown was on the trade
block with the Philadelphia Eagles And according to Pro Football Talk,
or according to Diana Rossini, because Pro Football talked this
factor into this story. But Diana Rossini of The Athletic
(26:34):
says that the Rams and the Patriots had serious discussions
with Philly about AJ Brown, but the talks would heat
up closer to June first, basically to help the dead
cap hit. So everybody kind of acknowledges, Yeah, we're good here,
We've done our time together. We're going to go in
a different direction. But they're just going to have to
(26:56):
sit on this for two and a half months until
they're ready to pull the trick and AJ Brown ends
up somewhere else. But apparently the Patriots are seeing as
the most likely destination for AJ Brown because who knows,
maybe they've got a soft deal in place and they're
just waiting until that time to make it official. And
AJ Brown's already shopping for a home in the Foxborough area.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
Maybe that's the case.
Speaker 5 (27:20):
There, But done deal and it couldn't happen soon enough.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
That's over. It's over.
Speaker 5 (27:26):
He's not going back to Philadelphia, and if he does,
they deserve everything they get next year. It's done. He
doesn't like it there. They don't like him. He's not happy.
He's always miserable, even when they're winning Super Bowls, he's miserable.
They got to move on, man, that's a wrap in
my mind. You think he's gonna stick around for.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
I mean, I don't have much on this. This is
like two months away. I'm making but jonas.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Well, do you okay?
Speaker 5 (27:53):
Because their their whole strategy on this is we'll just
wait until June first. What is going to change between
now and then, or do you think there's already a
deal in place and they're like, yeah, we'll just wait
to help you guys out.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
I don't Again, I don't know the specifics to waiting
until June first, Like if they want to release him
and then create a post June one designation. It feels
about the cap situation. They could already do that. They
don't have to wait until then.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
Well, they could be holding back from having an opportunity
to just go go get a deal.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
Well, they want to get something in return, obviously, and
so the thought is for the cap purposes, you could
spread out the dead cap hit if you do it.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Yeah, first listen, if you're proactively trying to move them,
then you proactively try to move them. I don't think
there's any posturing. If they can move them, they'll move them.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Well, I also think you're going to limit your market
if there's a potential team wants to trade for them
but instead then takes one in the draft. So that's
one of the things you have to look at is
and maybe people would look at the difference. They say,
we don't view you know, getting aj Brown the same
as you know, grabbing a young wide receiver we feel
really good about, but you know, potentially there might not
(29:08):
be as much of a need for one of those teams,
so you might be you know, nixing out a team
or two by waiting till after the draft. So I'm always,
I mean, you're always trying to find a way of
figuring out what's the best possible deal you can get
for a player. If you feel like you've gotten to
that point and everyone knows it that you both want
to go your separate ways. I just I'm surprised he
(29:31):
wants to go somewhere else in one aspect, but I
guess not in others because it's a wide receiver and
they always feel like the grass is greener. And I mean,
I'd love to know what Tyreek Hill feels about his
experience going to Miami. He got paid, he's you know,
leading the league and receiving yards at one point and
was a big piece of all that. But you know,
would he have rather stayed back and won another Super
(29:53):
Bowl with Kansas City? You know, I don't know. You know,
I wonder if Aj Brown, if he goes to a
place where he maybe he gets more receptions, has a
bit more production, even though he's still been pretty productive.
You know, does he want to go to a team
that's that's not gonna be competing the postseason and competing
for a Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
You'd have to assume at this point it's because of
the production that he's feeling the way he's feeling that
he's handling things the way that he's handling them.
Speaker 5 (30:22):
Yeah, but everybody else on that offense, Saquon Barkley, DeVante Smith,
everybody and have all said, but he was the only
one who continued to complain publicly. Well, it's just personality traits.
Everybody handles things differently. And again, if you understand receivers,
you understand that there is there are extreme cases and
(30:45):
not so extreme. You have quiet, quiet ones, you have
very very loud ones, and they're very very adamant about
the same exact things, which is they don't get enough balls.
It's just always been that historically. So speaking of wide receiver,
(31:05):
so we mentioned the Rams were one of the teams
Rams and Patriots that were in the in the mix
having conversations with Philly about aj Brown. Apparently, DeVante Adams
was also being shopped around a little bit. According to
Mike Florio, from Pro football talk. How much value was
there for him as well? I would ask you when
I saw that, I was like, do we care that?
(31:27):
Does that even? Does that even matter anymore?
Speaker 4 (31:29):
Like I think he could come in and be a
nice little compliment, red zone machine.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
All right?
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Fourteen touchdowns last year, all right.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
So he's he's a factor. You you think he could
be a factor on a team. Yeah at this point. Not.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
I mean he's not.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
He's a bad player. And he was also he missed
some time last year late in the season because he
got injured. It's clearly Poka Nku's team. Pokum Nicou is
going to get a monster deal when it when it's
his turn. But Davante Adams I didn't realize where he
was at all time when it came to touchdowns. So
(32:07):
he's seventh currently all time and receiving touchdowns, and he's
got a real opportunity finishing top four in his career
all time receiving touchdowns. I think it kind of gets
maybe overlook because people just sort of have forgotten a
little bit about him because of the Raiders years, because
the Raiders were so awful. But Davante Adams is at
(32:29):
a hall of Fame career.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
He wasn't bad with the Raiders. Wasn't he breaking a
thousand yards with the Raiders? He wasn't bad with them.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
So I mean that was kind of his like prove
it to everyone when he left Green Bay, Like it
wasn't just Rogers, like it was him too, Like he
he's special as far as what he's been as wide received.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
But is he's still that guy to like does he
command that type of attention Like, oh, he's he's trade
rumors like.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
So situationally like in the red zone all that, Like
I think there's third down if you isolate them.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
But I just hate to be that person. But I
mean I'm just kind of like, like, so, what well, Like, Okay,
if he goes he's just going to another team at
this way.
Speaker 5 (33:11):
And he was also in the ideal situation last year
to where you had a coach who was actively trying
to get his quarterback MVP, so instead of just turning
around and handing.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
The ball off to Kiren Williams, Like if d Hop
goes to another team, it's like, Okay, he's going to
another team, you know what I mean? Like at this point,
he's earned journeyman.
Speaker 5 (33:29):
It's also the reason, I guess the thought is the
reason why they were quote unquote shopping Davante Adams is
because he was due to a six million dollars roster
bonus this past weekend. They didn't they didn't probably want
to have that on the books, and so they tried.
And now now that he's got that, the likelihood is
that he's going to stick around.
Speaker 4 (33:47):
I would say if the Rams ended up picking him up,
I mean, excuse me, not the Rams, because he'd be
leaving the Rounds. If the the Niners ended up picking
him up, that would be interesting. No, that would be Yeah,
that would be an interesting deal. I think they're old enough. Okay,
(34:07):
so now you're gonna use my argument against me. All
I'm saying. All I'm saying is is that if you're
looking for a place where the offense could take advantage
of what it is you bring to the table, I
feel like that would be one of the places where
you say, I could see myself being there and having
(34:28):
some some success. Didn't a receiver just go there too,
didn't somebody just sign Evans? Mike Evans, Yeah, Mike Evans,
and he's old. Let's let's do it. Like, let's let's
let's do it. Let's be old, let's commit to it.
That's fair, let's go all the way in.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
It's like what the Hoosi just did when the national championship.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
Let's go, let's go. Let's get a lot of a
lot of senior leadership.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
Here's the left over.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
By Lary Ray. What do we got? While I saw
last week?
Speaker 7 (36:22):
The Big Twelve will be making changes to their led
court for the remainder of the tournament. Players lots of
complaints besides players slipping causing safety issues, The coaches say
that the led lights are distracting, and they made it
hard to see the three point line and the out
of bounds lines.
Speaker 5 (36:45):
Not every idea is a great idea, good true, but yeah,
at least he we're trying.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Yeah, it's a good truck. I can't even imagine.
Speaker 7 (36:52):
How much money they wasted.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
Broken guess that Joel who thinks that?
Speaker 5 (37:01):
I think it was a woman?
Speaker 1 (37:04):
What was it?
Speaker 3 (37:06):
I feel like that could get more people to watch though.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
If you like put those types of like LEDs and
play where it looks like it's a whole like big
drop off, you gotta like avoid it while you're going down.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
I would mess with your mind so much. Yeah, I
think that.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
Like almost like American Gladiators meats basketball.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
You know, like fast break.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
You don't know if a pitfall is going to come
or not, you know, and you got to be able
to get around it or if you're Victor Winmben Yamaa
just step over it.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
You're right, Andy Lennox, I was way off.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
It was a woman, and.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
All right, sorry about that. Thikes, there's a lot of
Billy Cholvans are not happy about that.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
She did ever hair short for the album. Well there
you go.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
You know, the voice and the stuff like that. Out
of tune or whatever it was.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
You know, Joan of Arc made it famous back then,
didn't she? Did? She?
Speaker 4 (38:16):
The short hair that was there was that movie? What
was that movie where the lady that played Joan of
Arc in the movie? In my what was that movie?
I don't remember short hair? J Me Moore a short
hair and g I Jane Jane. Yeah, but there was
a movie where it was like about Jonah Joanah.
Speaker 5 (38:40):
No ghost, they watch it ghost, that's.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
An old one.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
What about the substance? Have you seen Demi Moore in
the substance? Yeah? Have you seen that? There's a shower scene,
you get.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
The chance strip tease? Oh god, saying anybody wondered if
space was real?
Speaker 7 (39:06):
That's all right, Well let's get this ship onto the boat,
so twitter chat X shot however you want to call it.
Anthony Edwards tweeted at Luca Doncic when he posted a
picture of him having some beers with the guys and
he said welcome to the club, Luca, which Luca replied,
what club, and Edwards said child Support and Baby Mama's Club.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
Oh no, wow, is that real? Is that an AI generated?
That's a real, real. I love Anthony Edwards.
Speaker 5 (39:35):
I mean not, you know, not as the choice is
there maybe, but just the Hey calls alike, he sees it,
you know now, Luca's got Yeah, there's all you.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
Know, that issue, the whole baby Mama stuff and TAWE
support and that whole hustle.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
It's it's a it's an interesting industry.
Speaker 4 (40:00):
I wonder if they did the rough estimates of how
much goes into child support from pro athletes.
Speaker 3 (40:08):
You think it's an industry, Oh, it's an industry.
Speaker 4 (40:12):
It's an industry. I hate to say it. I mean,
but what else are you going to call it? I mean,
they're not having these kids out of love. They having
these kids out of.
Speaker 3 (40:26):
Lust, you know, and they use it as checks.
Speaker 4 (40:31):
Yeah, well it is what it is, man, Brady, what
are your thoughts on this, Brady that already rolled out?
Speaker 1 (40:38):
I'm gonna pay. Yeah, there's nothing. There's no value I
can add here?
Speaker 4 (40:43):
Is there?
Speaker 3 (40:43):
Is it an industry?
Speaker 1 (40:44):
Brady? I'll just look at this car parked right up
against this light.
Speaker 3 (40:48):
Dude the way to stay the subject.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
Check looked at it and then just left this car there.
Speaker 4 (40:53):
That's kind of like how baby Mama's and pro athletes
are
