x at the Old p Good morning, Petros, good morning, Hello,
Hi Hi. Would you guys like a little peek behind
the scenes as to what the start of the show

(01:26):
with Petro sounds like behind the scenes yesterday on.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
The Oh yeah, it went like.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
This, Do I have to participate in there?

Speaker 4 (01:35):
No, I just wanted to.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
I just want them to be aware of what and
the listeners to know how how everything has done the
magic behind the scenes of the Petros and Money Show.
Right as we're going on the air, Petro says to Zach,
the producer, Zach, give me Libyan music, and then the
open hits and away we go. So it was quite

(01:56):
the quite the time there yesterday, Petros and I learned.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
A lot that was it? What is Libyan music? Soundline?

Speaker 5 (02:04):
Like you think? I don't have a thought on it.
I think there was an accordion.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Again, did not think they're being an accordion.

Speaker 6 (02:15):
No, there's a lot of international anger I've learned toward Argentina.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
A lot of people are pissed off and Argentina. I
just saw Jamaican.

Speaker 6 (02:24):
Instagram where a woman was like waving a British flag,
the Jamaicans waving a British flag saying atif Argentina teef teeth,
never wants in teef with long bog.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
So a lot of people very angry about that. I
wasn't aware.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
But yeah, our our friend from Libya, our friend from Ethiopia,
many of our friends internationally at the radio station very
unhappy with Argentina and calling them cheaters and liars to
the people.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah, that's rude. Now I don't really.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Understand it, and I don't care. Yeah, I know, like
that was a red card three years ago.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
I'm like, okay, whatever. They seem really good. I don't know.
They might win back to back World Cups first time
since Pele.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Do you have a rooting interest England or Argentina. No,
you have to pick one.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
I don't know. I mean, Argentina is a chief. I
don't know.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
I'm not I'm just interested peripherally and and maybe who's
going to win. But I don't have to work today,
so I'm in a good mood.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
How about that. I was yesterday working with Jonas. I
mean just from your perspective.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Jonas is one of my favorite people to work with.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Thanks, Yeah, Well, it's just easy, you know.

Speaker 6 (03:50):
I mean, I got four hours to cover and and
it makes it easier because I don't have to cover all.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Of it like he but he's going to help.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Oh yepes he does a good job.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I don't know what I called you guys during that
point of the show, but I was a little concerned
that he was going to, you know, drive the car
into a ditch. At the points and times you know
he's gonna do it.

Speaker 6 (04:11):
Well, you know, he does say he does have like
you know, there there are scatological humor. I don't appreciates.
He steers things to this. I mean, if you want
me to criticize him, steers things sexually time and time
that I don't want that I don't want to be
you know, like, if I want it to be sexual,

(04:33):
I will take it there. If that fruit is ripe,
then I will be the one to pick it.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, But you.

Speaker 6 (04:41):
Know I don't want some other but somebody else to
start talking about it because then I find it uncouth.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
That's true.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
But if I'm talking about it, it's a whole different good. Okay,
so he's a pervert and he's he's into poop fetish
stuff like Odell.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Beckha, hold on, no, in fair in fairness, the only
reason I brought it up is because we mentioned the
e forty concert is SeaWorld, and I said, the lastly.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Now you're going to do it again, and I don't
want to hear it.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Hold on for a second. I don't want to hear
a second. Who even made you aware of that?

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Jonas Brandon t Quinn, that's what the forty world. He
put me up on them to that.

Speaker 6 (05:25):
That hard to figure out. It's not I figured it
out without without Brady's help.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
I bet you guys can't even name the.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
Town e forties from that one place.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
Thank you. I knew, I knew, I knew, LeVar.

Speaker 8 (05:43):
Why wouldn't we know?

Speaker 4 (05:44):
What's that supposed to be? Give us a chance up
to up top. That's ruth damn it because you're white.
It's such disgust.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
Forty is a great, great example of niche regional hip hop.
True and I like that. I love that. I love
the we've talked about it. I love go Go music
because it's regional. I love screw music, or at least
I used to because it's regional and high school music.
Saw the stuff up in the Bay Area is the

(06:17):
same way.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Okay, So then who was there first? E forty or
UB forty?

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Who ub forty? Do you know what a UB forty is?
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
So UB forty is a like an unemployment check. It's
a government check in England. So being called UB forty
is like being called welfare, Oh wow, or you know, food.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
Stamp or EBT.

Speaker 6 (06:42):
That's that would be a good The American cover band that.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
UB forty would be would be EBT.

Speaker 6 (06:51):
UB forty is essentially a cover band, but a really
beloved one and actually really really good. But UB forty
has split into two and it's not the same. If
you go see the band that calls themselves UB forty
right now, that's the other brother that's not as good

(07:12):
of a singer and he's butchering their music.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
That's the other UB forty.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
But the UB forty with Ali Campbell, It'll say UB
forty with Alie Campbell is the band you want to
see because Ali Campbell is the white guy with the voice.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
That you would recognize as UB forty.

Speaker 6 (07:34):
They also had a guy Astro who just recently died.
He was like the red red one, you make my
fusel fine, you keep me a rocking.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Yeah, oh that was a song.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
That's a black guy.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Oh no, yeah, get out of town.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
No, I thought it was a white guy when I
was a kid, did Well, you know, they have a
lot of white guys. But UB forty is like a
is a band from a rough part of England, right,
They all grew up as fans of real reggae music,
Jamaican music, and they're a huge band internationally. I mean,

(08:13):
you be forties a huge deal. Birmingham, England, nineteen seventy eight.
That's a long time that they've been really really. Robin
Campbell is the member now who sucks? Ali Campbell's the
one you want to go see, so that's your and
he's the one that looks like a weird lizard.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Ali.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Hey, didn't Journey had that happen to them too, Like
Journey like that they lost their their lead singer.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
Well, Journey is messed up Perry right, you know, Steve
Perry is is you know, and they've had other guys,
but Steve pe S what.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
I'm saying, didn't Steve Perry leave and then they just.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
Kind of went away. They replaced him. I think the
Filipino guy left.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
He really Yeah, but the Filipino I thought you were saying,
Steve Perry is a Filipino guy. Now he's doing but
he is kind of.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
Steve Perry doesn't sing well anymore, sadly, Okay.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
So he lost his voice.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
I mean there's some singers that you go see, like
the guy from The Cure, Robert Smith from The Cure.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
He looks like an old decomposed cloud.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
Like the right the Greek theater.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
No, but the doc was in an act.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
He heard his voice.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
No, this guy, the guy from the Cure, sounds exactly
the same, and he's he's unbelievable. I mean, the Cure
is a Morrissey sounds great too, and they hate each other.
But the Curer guy sounds exactly the same. Sadly, that's
not what happened to Steve Perry. So they did have
to replace him with a Filipino guy.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Okay, the Cure is great in concert, by the way,
good Man Live first concert ever went to.

Speaker 6 (09:50):
Oh okay, Brady just sent me, uh, that's a different
that's a British guy who sings a lot of Jamaican
style music. The guy you know that's he used in
a lot of memes. You know when somebody's like, I've
eaten oxtail soup for the first time and then they show,
you know, they show like this is what me you

(10:12):
know now and he's like you eat you know, and
he's that guy's name is m dot R. That's a
different guy, m dot He is.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
Ah. He has been booed off the stage by some
black crowds.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah, well but but if you heard his voice, you
can think that he's not white.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Yeah, we can't talking about the dude that be doing
the freestyles on social media and stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
What I mean, he's respected enough, like he's a dancehall guy.

Speaker 6 (10:40):
Dot r Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He has a really
good session at I often want one Extra. You ever
watch BBC one Extra uh one Extra BBC one.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
I'm gonna stay away from that because you don't like that,
even though it's our show though, you know what I mean,
I can go there.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
He looks like Delante Westcott sober, that's what he looks like.

Speaker 6 (11:03):
Stupid, it does. BBC one Extra is the black BBC.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
It's the Black all right. Yeah, it's like the it's big.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
It's like Stars Black. You know when you watch Stars Black.
You know they got wa Conda on twenty four to seven.
This it's okay, BBC one Extra is like, you know
they do a lot of trap.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
What else are they showing Stars Blackeah? Yeah, that's BBC Petros?
What are are you comfortable with this? Petros or or
is there no? Is there no connected to this.

Speaker 8 (11:41):
Petros or very uncod Just throw it.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
It's got.

Speaker 4 (11:48):
With the BBC involved.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
Maybe the didn't play Dolomite. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
The jungle.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
Anyway.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
Yeah, so very international? Uh to do today in Argentina
or whatever?

Speaker 5 (12:03):
Where is that game?

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Ollas in Atlanta? No? Atlanta? Mercedes? Was this in Dallas? Yeah,
yesterday was in Dallas? And then does Philly get the championship?

Speaker 5 (12:14):
No? New York, New York.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
That's right, that's right, New York, New York.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
By the way, speaking of Philly, Petros, we were just
talking about the All Star Game was.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Kind of a kind of a bummer, was it. I
don't know what exactly exactly Petro?

Speaker 5 (12:30):
I mean, Jonas and I were on the.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Air, right, but are you talking about it. No, not
really exactly signing the declaration that Jonahs acts like he's
interested in stuff on that what he has to.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
Do it because you know he somebody on your show
has to be.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
We thought it was.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Oh no, Brady is all the way in. Brady watches
every single sporting event that takes place and not every
single yeah no, no, no, hold on and connects analysis
and inside information to every single one.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
And technically, here's the jobs and generally, thank.

Speaker 6 (13:11):
You, pros's what we're tasked with. Has come back to
the Golden Dome. Sometimes.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
I mean, you know, I mean we all know, you know, we.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
All okay, here's what here's here's how I connected the
most recent thing to Notre Dame, which I did feel
like these guys were caught off guard.

Speaker 9 (13:27):
But that was good, I said, like for all the
people who were out there like cheering for the US,
and you know when they when they took away the
red card and they allowed Flow to come back and
play in that game.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
What a moment.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
And they're like, oh, well it doesn't matter. You know,
we're not getting special treatment. All this kind of stuff,
like go team USA. It shouldn't have been there in
the first place, all the stuff I said, I don't
want to hear your complaints come college football season. Like
when you bitch and moan about Notre Dame getting special treatment,
like you just you're in that category.

Speaker 6 (13:59):
You play both sides of this. Notre Dame is the
United States of football.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
I'm not saying that.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
I'm saying people think they get special treatment.

Speaker 8 (14:08):
He made it up.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
So if you're gonna make the argument that you can't
make the argument like on one side and not the other.
It's like, all right, but you can't be for it
here and then not for it here, just saying it
feels like a stretch.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Hey, but it was more to catch them off guard.
It is the season. But yeah, come on, now, it's
stretch season. Whether it's off or not. Already said it.
So you got to take it at face value, you know.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
I mean, there is a difference.

Speaker 6 (14:33):
There's a difference between our time slots, right, Like you
know when you do morning radio, there is a certain
amount of what people expect, like this person to have
known what happened the night before, right, and you know,
be able to convey it. I do not have that ability,
and I'm very I have little interest in.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
No one has, No one ever has petros like breaking news.
If you're in this business and you've been in it
long enough, not one person does because you don't have
the bandwidth to be able to watch. But you have
to act like you hold on an actor, hold on.

Speaker 6 (15:13):
All I'm trying to say is when it comes to
the afternoon when we are on, everybody's already had their take.
Everybody's already seen everything, and now I can talk about
team takeovers and Libbyan music and snakes every day.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
There are two things LeVar said that that are literally lies.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Okay. First off, he is.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
The only person that has been on a reality TV
show and has in essence kind of acted tru or false.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
I was not acting. Okay, you're on TV. You're literally
searching for a home.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Anyway, I'm just saying, the only one of us, the
only one of us not acting.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
LeVar watches go.

Speaker 5 (15:58):
Back over the front door and come out.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
Yeah, right, exactly, tell me did stag hold on? Did
you do it?

Speaker 5 (16:04):
LeVar?

Speaker 4 (16:05):
It was staged? There you go, you're acting. It's not acting.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
That's acting. It's not acting.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
I was there to look at the home, and I
happen to know the real estate agent one of the twins.
He's a big, big Skins fan. I'm now known as
the Commander's uh. I mean that's all it was. I
wasn't acting. They just now staging. It was stage and
it was a sage. It was a stage viewing showing,
but it was not acting. I was not a what's

(16:34):
the other one?

Speaker 1 (16:35):
The other lie is that he said, no, I can
watch everything. LeVar watches every show on the face of
the planet, on every streaming platform, everything else.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
Like Game of Thrones, House of Dragon.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
That's correct, exactly, Like like Love Island like that correct.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Keep going down the line of shows. He watches them
all so he can consume all that. He's not gonna
tapp into any other ranch.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Just watch k I got him caught up on Cape Fear.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
So you're saying that he should maybe be on E
with the with the exclamation point.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
No, I mean no, Well, maybe it sounds like.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
You it's not as intensive to watch a TV show
then to watch every single to watch watch World Cup.
They score like a goal or two a game.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
I feel like you guys will be a lot happier
when the World Cup is over.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
It's caught. I'm not unhappy in your show.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
No, I'm not unhappy at all.

Speaker 5 (17:31):
I'm just maybe the show as a whole will be happy.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
Well, maybe you'll be happier when Lebron James finds a team.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Damn.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
I mean maybe why I would say I would ask
you the same question to you, Well, let me ask this.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
I tell you why, because you guys are every time
I've come on in the last three weeks, all you
guys do is argue about the World Cup.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
That's why, Hey, Pat and Lebron.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
I love if Lebron's gonna go out there at forty
and do the awkward run dmc rap arms. I mean,
that's something for us to talk about. I'm very happy
with that. Did you not like the display that he
made at the JC concert?

Speaker 4 (18:10):
No?

Speaker 8 (18:11):
Why not?

Speaker 6 (18:12):
Well, I mean we had a conversation about this, and
I don't know at what point do you have to stop,
you know, being a kid gesticulating when rap is on
right and you probably get like an extra I mean
not that I'm some kind of arbiter of what you
get to do if you're a certain race. Although I

(18:32):
don't like it when the white guys have their chains out,
but I don't. But and I go around telling kids
in town to tuck their chain. But I have to
say that.

Speaker 5 (18:46):
I mean, I don't. I don't tell people what to do.

Speaker 6 (18:48):
But if you're black, I would say you probably get
an extra ten years to do the wrap arms and stuff.

Speaker 5 (18:55):
But at a certain.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
Point ten years from when, when does the clock start?

Speaker 5 (19:01):
Maybe? I don't know.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
Everybody's different, you know what I mean, like twenty twenty one,
twenty one, No, twenty one, I mean twenty one year
old's now still live at home for like another ten years.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
Yeah, they do, you know, So if it starts, if
it's thirty, well then he's still so forty one, he's
forty one, he's over.

Speaker 6 (19:20):
I'd say thirty five if you're black, twenty five if
you're white.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
So he still has time. He's got four mills. Twenty one.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
Oh, you shouldn't be doing wacky wrap arms.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
But I said, the clock starts at thirty five if.

Speaker 6 (19:32):
You want to do wrap arms ends if you want
to do rap arms. I mean, you know, I'm not
saying it doesn't. Just because I say it doesn't mean
it's true. But if you want to do wrap arms,
do them in your chair, you know, I mean.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
And it's not just wrap arms. It's not just about reggae.
What about reygae? I will I will have a harday
step until I die.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
I have a hard time.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
It shows, you know, because I'm fat and ugly and white.
And you know, do you bob your head? Do you
bob at the waist like you're bobbing your head but
it's a waist bob.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
Do you leave your hands in your pockets?

Speaker 6 (20:05):
You don't want people to look at you if you
start jumping around and acting all stupid.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (20:11):
Man, I've always felt I love concerts, but I've always
felt awkward as to what to do at a concert.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
And it's not just dudes, you know.

Speaker 6 (20:18):
I mean, Lebron's a good looking, big swol guy, and
he still looks like an.

Speaker 5 (20:22):
Idiot doing that. Remember Megan Markle dancing.

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Around at the at the at the Sofi, at the
Taylor Swift show or something.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
She looked like a complete idiot. Taylor Swift looks like
an idiot when she danced. She looked like a stiff
stork when she dances around.

Speaker 6 (20:39):
You know, there's a certain point, like you know, I mean,
I grew up with mc hammer and Michael Jackson.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
Those people could dance.

Speaker 6 (20:45):
They dance hard, you know, Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis,
mister bo Jangles.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
That's a hard dancing era time though, Petrosy.

Speaker 6 (20:56):
But now it's like, I don't need Lebron pointing a
fake gun at me if I and and didn't. Jay
Z wasn't he supposed to be canceled And then all
of a sudden he popped up at the super Bowl
with his kids on his shoulders and we moved.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
Oh it's blue Ivy. I forgive him that.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
What he took his dreads out too? How did that
canceled for?

Speaker 10 (21:16):
That?

Speaker 6 (21:16):
Is that the whole Yeah, somebody said they woke up
on Epstein Island and jay Z was like that real
close up picture of him with his lips and everything,
like like right in your face.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
You see that picture.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
Hold on, let me search for this real quick.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
You see that real upflose picture.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
And I'm sorry for a pool side image of Jeffrey
with prominent figures.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Let's see if this.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
No, it's not that, it's there's a picture jay Door.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
He was just with the Clintons, by the way, Oh no,
by the way. I am not pseudoicide suicidal. I'm very happy,
all right. So if I get killed for saying that.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Yeah, wait to clarify, all right, good, we got you.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Don't notice that everyone has to state that after they
mentioned the Clinton's names.

Speaker 5 (22:10):
What lovely people?

Speaker 3 (22:11):
He uh, Petros, I've hung coach that you are most
looking forward to and least looking forward to talking with
at Mountain West Media days.

Speaker 6 (22:24):
Oh well, there's a lot of new teams, or a
couple of new teams.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
Three new teams.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Who are they?

Speaker 6 (22:30):
North Dakota State, UTAP and and IU football.

Speaker 4 (22:34):
Only North Dakota. That's the one that's in Fargo. That's
where everybody goes and comes out of. And they're really
good pretty much, Okay, that's they're green, they're green and
white and yellow.

Speaker 6 (22:44):
Yeah, and they play in the Fargo Dome, the Bison.
A lot of big quarterbacks, a lot of people come
through there. Actually, they do a great job. That's the
picture I'm talking about.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
Yeah, I can't find that one, Bud everywhere too, that
one just.

Speaker 6 (23:02):
Right in jay Z up close all right, Yeah, I
know you're waking up to that though, And I just
I don't need Lebron pointing a fake gun at me.

Speaker 5 (23:11):
If I paid a bunch of money and then for
Yankee Stadium.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
I know what it is.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
Yeah, And then you've got.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
That there's a Congress guy in the stands doing like
the hands like ooh ooh.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
Like it's like, don't do the rap hands past forty
we do?

Speaker 4 (23:26):
What are you supposed to do? Petros? That's a great question,
like if that's what's the alternative? If you're not going
there to fill that energy of the music you supposed
I'm not saying you can't feel the energy, but when
you feel the energy, it's like when you're in church, right,
Like maybe this is cultural too, because I don't think
they do shouting in like Catholic churches. But I mean

(23:48):
if you catch the spirit, if you catch the spirit
in like a black church, you know you shout, you know, yeah? Yeah,
right should you shout?

Speaker 3 (23:57):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (23:59):
And there's no cut hey today, like hey, hey, mother,
like you got to sit down. You're too old to
be shouting up in the church now.

Speaker 6 (24:05):
Now, far be it from me LeVar to wonder or
to uh to assume what is in Lebron's heart. But
when I see Lebron usually doing something like he did
at the jay Z Show.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
It's performative. Okay, I got you.

Speaker 6 (24:23):
And this is the second time this week I've seen
Lebron dancing around to a rap song and waving his
arms around for attention.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Find a team.

Speaker 5 (24:34):
M Are you of the.

Speaker 6 (24:41):
Are you the belief that they are if m Bronny
did like a kid and play dance like a like
a choreograph fair?

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Oh yeah, that's that's like that's a horse of a
different Yeah, that's TikTok worthy.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Ye.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Are you of the belief that they're recruiting him or
he's you know what I'm saying, Like Byron Scott made it.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
I mean it sound like now I feel very much James.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
I feel very much like Byron, Like like Lebron is
trying to.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
Make Lebron happen and they're I mean, he's forty one.

Speaker 6 (25:12):
What would you do with him after you bring him
in and make it all about him and he's there
for a year or two. I mean, it takes a
certain situation that you're gonna want to bear or wear
the Lebron James farewell tour wall. Trying to compete in
the NBA at a really high level. So I mean,

(25:34):
I'm sure he'll go somewhere, but it's I don't think
the interest in him is anywhere near as prevalent as
they'd like you to think. And look, all you have
to do right these days in sports, the best way
to figure out if something's true or not is if
ESPN's talking about the WNBA, they're probably lying. And if

(25:55):
ESPN's talking about Lebron, they're probably lying. It's probably the
opposite of what they're saying. They're deeply involved in propaganda.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
Yeah, I think we're all on that that same page.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
Always a good time, enjoy Las Vegas. He is the
co host of the Petros Some Money show What you
can Hear on the Blowtorch and five seven.

Speaker 6 (26:15):
Could you imagine me and LeVar and a brat concert
trying to figure out how to act.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
It would be more fun if we were at.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
A rate looking over like you know, I'm going.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
To take you to the festival in nine now where
all of them perform the Marley's and get it in. Yeah,
that's what we.

Speaker 5 (26:31):
Mean that the the cruise.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
No, no, they do the cruise. We're going to go
to nine now.

Speaker 5 (26:38):
You're talking about Sufest time for su Fest.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Yet, No, that's a different one. It's like, come on,
it's nine now, like where he grew up, where Bob
grew up, where he's buried.

Speaker 5 (26:47):
You know, Hope Street and all that.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
No, no, no, no, that's yeah in Kingston, in Kingston
yeaheah no no no, no, in the road. No no,
you're talking about the music. That's where he lived. We
gotta go.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
We're go get but we will talk next week.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
There we got the music.

Two Pros and a cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio,
LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up in about twelve minutes from now, we are going
to close up shop with another edition of The Leftovers
that'll be yours right here on FSR. Before we get
to our picks, with not a lot of intel or
actually x's and o's broken down involved in making these

(28:30):
picks here on the show, we do want to let
you know that we and you can find us on
our YouTube channel. You just search two Pros FSR within YouTube. Again,
that's two Pros FSR, you hit the subscribe button and
now after you've done that, you tap the thumbs up
icon and you're comming away. Whether you agree or disagree,
let us know what you think again, Just search two
pros FSR on YouTube and subscribe. All right, So we've

(28:50):
got one more semi final matchup in the World Cup
coming up.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Later on, and then one more game after that. That's right, final, Yeah, two.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
To go, minding down, winding down. Fox has done a
tremendous job. I thought they've done a tremendous job presenting
the World Cup. It's been a long journey, but we
are down to three. Spain is in and out comes
down to Argentina versus England. So I don't know if
we have any We have a live studio band with

(29:20):
us here on this Wednesday morning. We've got any World
Cup theme music that we want to fire off, but
we are going to make picks on this game that
have nothing to do really with soccer or x'es and
o's for that matter. So the live studio band is
plugging in the instruments as we speak. Wanted them to
know that this is all in the up and up,

(29:41):
that this isn't like some made up radio bit. You know,
we're not some hackey morning show that's gonna say, oh
we have a live band and there's no actual live brand.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
This is waiting for you know, commercial.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
To run through because we have the free YouTube version
when we're looking up songs. That is not the case.
That is not how this show works. We have a
live studio band, ready and active and ready to go
here on this Wednesday morning as we get ready to
make our picks us Argentina game here, and so as

(30:13):
they as they are ready to go here uh here
on this Wednesday morning. It is just a tremendous time
if you are a soccer fan as you get ready
to see Argentina and England coming up later on the
Lions of England and whatever they call Argentina and apparently

(30:33):
the live studio band is. There's World Cup theme music.

Speaker 6 (30:38):
All right, Oh, there we go, there's.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
That live ben. But so, who wants to go first?
That's going to be just as good as mine?

Speaker 3 (30:50):
This Tina England? Who wants to go first? Because I
have I got thoughts? Yeah, all right, so I'm gonna
take argentright, I'm gonna take Argentina, all right, first off.
I like the fact that everyone assumes that they're cheaters. Okay,
I think that's.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
Great, all right.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
I think the fact that that goes on, I think
is wonderful. And if everybody's going that direction, I'm gonna
go ahead and go with the villain here. So Argentina
has got to be the villain, then that's what it's
gotta be. And Messi's the greatest of all time. He's
the greatest soccer player of all time and this World
Cup has only cemented that legacy with an opportunity to
go to another World Cup final. Also, just look in

(31:31):
the crowd, you know what I mean, Like, look around.
They are a talented bunch, the fans, the supporters, they
bring the thunder much like Spain. It would make for
a better watch all the way around, if you know
what I mean. If Argentina advances to the final. And
I gotta be honest with you, England kind of arrogant.

(31:53):
There's a certain level of arrogance that comes with the
English soccer team. This team and our Argentina have bad
blood that goes all the way back to the Hand
of God game involving Maridona back in the day that
took place as Techa Stadium, So none of that has
anything to do with what's going on the field today
or on the pitch later on today. But because of that,

(32:16):
the arrogance of England and the fact that Argentina has
been labeled the villain and the cheater of it all,
and you know, their fans are just hotter.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
I'm gonna go with Argentina knocks Loucks.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
That was a lot of build up for what I
feel like we all could have just like figured out
that's what we do here.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
Let me preface we want to pick by saying this first.
I've really enjoyed all my trips to London, you know,
whether it was going for an NFL game, where it
was going for just travel, tourism, you know, history, seeing
all of that, I really have. The people have always
been extremely like welcoming and there's a lot of history there.
The food kind of stinks, if we're being real. I

(32:56):
thought people would be more into beer and whatnot. Cider
is actually a bigger thing there, so I wasn't as
big of a fan of that. They got their own issues,
but I'll say this much, there's no way, all right,
there's no way on God's green earth, we were gonna
let England, okay, come over to the United States and
win a World Cup on American soil, all right, I

(33:17):
don't care if we date back to seventeen seventy six.
However far do you want to take this bag for
the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of this country. There's
no way I can pick or even root for a
team like England, who we've got such history with. So look,
I'm picking Argentina. We could say for Messi, which is
obviously part of it. But I like their food, I
like their wine, and the crowd shots are amazing ains well,

(33:39):
so give me Argentina.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
When's Whens.

Speaker 4 (33:46):
I've had both amazing moments in London and in England,
and I've had regrettable moments in London in England. And
I won't get into it too deeply, but I will
say this the I'm really going to do this, that

(34:07):
that whole line came from that whole line came from London.
So uh for the simple fact that I had a major,
major glitch and lapse in judgment in my own personal
life at one point in time while visiting there, I'm
gonna go away to Argentina.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Sticks picks, I'm really going to do.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
This, and a Sea World in London?

Speaker 5 (34:33):
Who knew? Yes?

Speaker 4 (34:35):
Is he forty gonna performer that one too? That went SeaWorld?

Speaker 3 (34:43):
So hey man, if we could get Argentina action, yeah,
we gotta get a little Argentita versus Spain hopefully. By
the way, it should be pointed out on DraftKings, Yeah,
England is a slight.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
Favorite of this, so you know there is UH to
all of the the exers out there saying, oh, the
commentarial on soccer LeVar is horrible, I don't care. That's
what you have to understand. That's why we're a three
man show. Where one of us comes up insufficient, the
other one we we we fill the gap. Now, I

(35:22):
will say the rest of the week, y'all. Y'all do
not have Q to carry, y'all, So I'm sorry, y'all
gonna have to deal with the fact that I'm not
a soccer fan. Sorry, and this is talking.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Trust I wish I could, wish I could work out
a wave, trust.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
Me, It's okay either way. I'm not I'm just saying
Jonas is going to be talking about it, and maybe
maybe Loraina will get involved, maybe Patrick will get involved.
But what you will not see is LeVar get out
of character. I will not speak I will not speak
on on too deep to to in depth analysis or

(36:01):
it's trying to sound educated about about soccer. I got recovered. Yeah, yeah,
there you go. I'll take it. There, go give me something,
Yeah you go. I'm talking about Drack is going to
handle it. So if you're nervous, if you're nervous about it,
just no, don't worry about it. I'm not going to
try to be anything.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
That I'm not.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
By the way, this song sucks. No, it's it's it's
really uh. It has like African like Caribbean vibes to it.
I kind of like it. It's like pool pool music,
like beach music.

Speaker 11 (36:33):
Come on, like interested that I played the background music,
Yeah there was.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
I thought that there was different. It's the same exact
She already told you. She played it before three times now.
It was when the World Cut was in Africa, Africa
thing Africa, Africa. Yeah, you gotta put an h before it.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
It is too Pros and a Cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio, which you can listen in Africa
on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
Coming up next though definitely can, Yes, you can. We
have listeners there because of me. We are going.

a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and

Speaker 3 (37:31):

LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox.

Speaker 5 (37:36):
With you here.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
We're gonna be back on the here tomorrow, same time,
same play, six am Eastern time, three o'clock Pacific. Before

Speaker 6 (38:02):
Time to find out what's left towns, incredibles.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Here's the leftover, PILARI, what do we got?

Speaker 12 (38:10):
Well, you better watch out with your leftovers these days,
and with your fresh food as well. A parasite has
hit America America called cyclopsoriasis. It's a gastro intestinal illness
that causes us to experience violent, severe water some may
even say explosive diarrhea. There has been one six and

(38:32):
forty five confirmed cases across thirty four of the states.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
How long does it last?

Speaker 11 (38:38):
It's a few days, it's it's up to its post
to over a week.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
Oh of symptoms.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
Uh I went through it the other day though, Oh geez, okay,
go ahead.

Speaker 12 (38:50):
So there's only been one thousand, six and forty five
cases across the US that have been confirmed. Fifty one
hundred of those are still under investigation.

Speaker 4 (38:59):
Okay, So where in the country.

Speaker 11 (39:00):
That's where we're getting to. The biggest hot spot states are.

Speaker 12 (39:04):
Number number five, North Carolina with two hundred and forty cases,
Ohio with four hundred, New York has five hundred and ten,
and coming in at number one is Michigan with over
three thousand cases.

Speaker 13 (39:16):
Ward manual, Dirty Dirty, Well, if you guys haven't followed
this Taco Bell is right in the center of it,
receiving a lot of blame, and my I guess response
to that news is what's changed?

Speaker 4 (39:32):
Oh wow, that's already been there.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
If you've een that Taco Bell in the past, you're
probably blowing it out.

Speaker 4 (39:37):
So it's like, what's changed here?

Speaker 5 (39:39):
A right?

Speaker 4 (39:40):
Like, am I missing something? No mess with that?

Speaker 3 (39:42):
Yeah, worth they say it was the lettuce at Taco Bell,
like the loves they were using.

Speaker 12 (39:46):
I heard that Taco Bell was actually just taking precautionary
measures to make sure it wasn't attributed to them.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
The there's an investigation now, Lorena, right, But the most
commonly linked source of the parasite is lettuce and bagged solid.

Speaker 12 (40:00):
From grocery stores bags, huh, bagged salads, bagged salads.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
And the issue is you can't wash that salad, Tosa.
There's different different berries.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
Oh okay, there's different theories on that that you cannot
wash the parasite off.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
It has to be cooked off, cooked off.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
So that is one way of still being able to
eat some of these foods, but making sure they're obviously
properly cooked.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
Y'all ever cooked lettuce warm lettuces?

Speaker 5 (40:27):
Gross?

Speaker 1 (40:27):
I've actually no, I've had a salad one time that
was like warm leg It was actually decent.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
I gotta be on And isn't that like a form
of cabbage.

Speaker 3 (40:39):
Well, if you want to lose weight in the summertime,
just go eat taco bell A.

Speaker 4 (40:43):
Happy birthday to the baby man. Yeah, I have a
good one, See you tomorrow.
