Speaker 6 (00:44):
You're the only one that jacked up. That's all right.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Jacked it up, bro.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
All right.
Speaker 7 (00:49):
We'll bounce back. It is two pros and a cup

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (00:59):
They was getting knocked around. I mean, they won in
the strip club. Those saw their teacher and everything. She
was looking strong. Oh, Billy Bob crying? Well, cry me
a river, you fat effing baby. My quarterback's dragging his
leg because of you.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Dang.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Would you consider this a football song?
Speaker 5 (01:14):
Hell yes.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:15):
All right.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
That's what I said. It's a football song.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
It's connected to varsity blues.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
It's a football song.
Speaker 6 (01:25):
Jonas is the only one that didn't read the memo.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Also, where this came up, Kurt Cignetti admitted that he
listens to this every day in the morning on his
way to work.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Love that.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
This is the song he listens to. I love that.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
It literally made me think to myself, I've got a
buddy who, when he wakes up in the morning, he
will listen to Sandman. Enter Sandman every day, which it
feels like a bit much. I'm like, whatever you need
to do to get.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Going, man.
Speaker 5 (01:57):
Crank up. You got to crank up, man. Yeah, I
like that.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
I'm just picturing Kurt Cignetti driving in with the Thunderstruck
every day.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
Blasting it, though.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Just getting ready to take the Hoosiers out there to
kick someone's ass.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Windows down with a cigarette hanging out. Why not?
Speaker 5 (02:14):
Why not? Love that. Football-themed, you know? Jonas, football-themed.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
That's all I'm saying. Football-themed songs.
Speaker 6 (02:24):
Well, speaking of football.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
He played football.
Speaker 6 (02:28):
Yeah, he did.
Speaker 8 (02:29):
Could Dabo have asked the same question of this next guest?
Speaker 6 (02:34):
I'm not sure. Petros Papadakis is his name.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
I wouldn't have responded.
Speaker 7 (02:38):
He is the co-host of the Petros of Money Show,
which you can hear on the Blowtorch, AM570 LA Sports,
Fox College Football Analyst.
Speaker 6 (02:45):
Get him on X at the old P.
Speaker 5 (02:46):
Petros, good morning.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Hello, good morning. Hi, Petros. Hello. Hello, P. Hello, good morning.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
You should see Bad Bill right now, Petros. He's getting...
ginormous he keeps shedding.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Oh you're uh you're lizard yeah.
Speaker 8 (03:01):
The chameleon he's uh he has gotten really really big
and and and he enjoys uh eating from you know
pen's hand like she holds him and he actually late
he laces them crickets and and.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Those mealworms them super mealworms up it's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
To watch That is that is exciting news.
Speaker 6 (03:21):
I figured you'd appreciate that being a lizard enthusiast.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I do.
Speaker 9 (03:25):
I really do appreciate that lizard being fed.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Yeah. He's got to feed your lizard.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
He's looking good.
Speaker 7 (03:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Here, lizard, lizard, lizard, lizard, lizard.
Speaker 8 (03:34):
Hey, Petros, but real quick before before we get into
all of the important questions that Q and Jonas will
ask you. You might have heard my teaser, but if
you were asking, OK, Dabo Sweeney kind of took a
shot at a reporter that asked him, is he regretting
his roster?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (03:53):
And he basically asked him, well, have you ever even
played football? Like, if you did, you probably know not
to ask that question, but I felt like it was
a legitimate question.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
How would you have responded if that were.
Speaker 8 (04:04):
First of all, do you think that that was a
legitimate question to ask Dabo at this moment in time?
And secondly, how would you have responded if he had
asked you, have you ever played the game before?
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Well, there's a.
Speaker 9 (04:15):
Bunch of ways to respond, right? But that was probably...
The coaches have a thousand ways to respond. And I
don't know, how many times have you gone to have
a meeting with a coach? And you go up there,
and they say a bunch of stuff to you, and
you walk out, and you say, I have no idea
what that guy just said. And he didn't answer any
of my questions, but he got through the moment.
Speaker 8 (04:38):
That's every time I talk to my daughter's volleyball coach
at Oregon.
Speaker 9 (04:42):
But go ahead. Yeah, it's what they call coach speak, right?
So these guys are trained, as we all are in
this business to a certain degree, just to get out
of a situation by saying something, but maybe not exactly right.
what you meant, or maybe not really answering the question
because it's an uncomfortable question at this juncture in time,
(05:04):
which is fair to say. One game in, yes, that's
an uncomfortable question, but the bar at Clemson set by
Dabo is quite high, and he knows that. And I
think if somebody answers your question, which seems pretty legitimate
because that's been a big part of the Clemson story,
in modern times, right?
Speaker 3 (05:25):
I'm not in South Carolina, but I know that he
has had a hard.
Speaker 9 (05:30):
Time adapting to some of the changes in college football
in the same way that other head coaches have adapted.
And it's been part of the story of Clemson in
the last few years. You go out and you play
a team whose roster structure is extremely.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Reported on.
Speaker 9 (05:51):
Everybody knows all about LSU and what an a-hole Kiffin
is and the whole deal.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
And I think it's a fair question.
Speaker 9 (05:59):
So whenever somebody asks a question and the coach immediately
attacks the guy, it's probably more revealing about the coach
than it is about the guy. As snarky and annoying
as media members can be and as patient as coaches
need to be in those press conference situations... I think
(06:21):
that it was a legit question, maybe a little harsh,
but totally legit, and he could answer it any way
he wanted, and instead he answered it by acting like
he wasn't offended but attacking the reporter, and he was
deeply offended. So I would say that's on Dabo. He
didn't answer that or handle that very well. He'd probably
(06:42):
tell you that now.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Mm-hmm. Petros, I wanted to ask you about the ending
of the Western Michigan-Michigan game. Just in general, your thoughts,
wasn't sure how you viewed it, and then everything that's
transpired since. Is there a solution to this in your mind?
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Well, not anymore, right?
Speaker 9 (07:01):
Because once you leave the field, the litigation starts, the
jockeying starts, the PR starts, the publicists start, the Corporate people,
the lawyers, start to go back and forth.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
So the field is the field.
Speaker 9 (07:19):
What happened on the field, whether they gave you an
extra play or not, that's what happened.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
That's what the refs did.
Speaker 9 (07:25):
I once called a game, and I think we've talked
about it, maybe about 12 years ago, Oklahoma State and
Central Michigan. And Central Michigan scored on a Hail Mary game.
and they probably shouldn't have been given that down, according
to Mike Pereira, who we had, thank God, on the broadcast.
(07:46):
And both teams, when it was said and done, claimed victory,
which is so weird. But Central Michigan won the game,
even though they shouldn't have been given an extra play
or whatever it was that happened at the end. They
still gave them the extra play. They played it on
the field, and the game ended.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
And.
Speaker 9 (08:07):
Look, there's all kinds of plays that happen sequentially throughout
a football game. And you don't know how they're going
to affect things in the end. But you could look
back and say, well, that was a real turning point.
And if that didn't happen, well, what would have happened here, here, here,
and here? I mean, you could drive yourself insane doing that.
And college basketball coaches, it's even worse for what they do. God,
(08:29):
I should have taken that guy out at the four-minute mark.
We would have won. You know, you stay up all night.
So that kind of stuff can drive you crazy. Obviously,
they made a mistake. Obviously, I think most of us
believe that if that situation was reversed, Western Michigan wouldn't
have been given an extra play.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Last year, I opened up.
Speaker 9 (08:50):
The season at Michigan State with Western Michigan, that Lance
Taylor team last year that ended up winning the MAAC.
And I love the MAAC. I think the MAAC is great.
I love watching MAACtion. I think that they're great, tough, industrial, Midwest,
blue-collar teams. And I saw two of them over the
weekend to varying results. I saw Central on Saturday night
(09:14):
against New Mexico, and I saw Toledo in Michigan State.
Toledo took a lead in the fourth quarter, and they
won the MAAC last year. These are gutty, or they
were close to winning the MAAC last year. These are gutty,
strong teams with a lot of backbone. I have a
lot of respect for Lance Taylor. I follow Western Michigan
because I did their game last year, and they ended
(09:34):
up having a really good year, and I was impressed
with the team and their style. But I think after
the fact, once the game is over, whatever mistakes have
been made within the– I mean, Brady, how many games
did you play in that you got upset about something
that happened? I mean, the Bush push, for God's sakes.
You guys must have felt completely and totally screwed over
(09:57):
by USC given.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
That extra play. in that moment.
Speaker 9 (10:00):
I'm sure people have studied the film and scoured it
and been pissed off and have a right to. But
no one's going to walk off and say Notre Dame
won that game. It's just not the way it works.
It's a heartbreaking thing. And I feel terrible for Michigan,
but I do think all the saber rattling after the
game It's not.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Going to help anybody.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
So one of the things I ask these guys, I'm
curious how you feel about it. If Michigan, let's just
say they improve because they looked awful, but let's say
they improve and they turn into a 10-2 team at
the end of the season and they're a bubble team
to make the playoff. Do you look back at this
game as part of the book on them and say, yeah,
(10:39):
that looked like it was more of a loss than
a win to me?
Speaker 3 (10:43):
You know, I don't vote in that kind of stuff.
Speaker 9 (10:47):
So, you know, but neither I usually don't have to
make those kind of decisions. But I am from the
school of you develop your identity in the first three games. Now,
of course, if you lose the first three games, you're
going to have trouble getting getting all the way to
the playoff. But you have I mean, you know, football team,
(11:09):
whether you had a great game or a bad game
or somewhere in the middle, which is.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Usually the truth.
Speaker 9 (11:15):
In the first game, you always look back and it's
hard to recognize your team. It's hard to recognize the plan.
The identity has not been... Even if it's a veteran team,
the identity has not been cemented. So I don't like
pointing an accusatory Sophie Cunningham finger at football teams or
(11:36):
Lashley's finger, which is the new meme, at football teams
in the first game.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
A lot of the time... I mean, last year, Indiana.
Speaker 9 (11:44):
came out and didn't struggle, but one of the closest
games they played all year was the first game of
the year against Old Dominion. And was that an indicator
of what the rest of their season would be like?
Speaker 3 (11:56):
No, not at all.
Speaker 9 (11:58):
So I don't like to judge teams too harshly on
game one. I think Dabo Sweeney has a point a
little bit about that, but of course they gave up
a 50-burger.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
And they're Clemson.
Speaker 9 (12:10):
So I like to see how the season plays out
for everybody. I think preseason hype for teams, and then
you play nobody in the first three weeks, kind of
like USC, and everybody's going to be talking and squawking
until they have some real competition or more comparable competition
to actually get a gauge on what they're going to
(12:32):
be like in the Big Ten. There's all kinds of
ways to react to early in the season, and that's
why we love it.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
But I wouldn't hold it against him, no.
Speaker 7 (12:39):
Petros, you mentioned the game that you called on Friday night.
You were in the state of Michigan, but for Michigan
State's win over Toledo. It did get close there in
the fourth quarter, but what was your impression of– did
you have a chance to talk with Pat Fitzgerald, and
what did you think.
Speaker 9 (12:55):
Of– Oh, yeah, I met– I had never met Pat Fitzgerald,
which is pretty remarkable, doing this for as long as
I have. And there's just some people you never, like
I've seen Mike Loxley a hundred times. There's some people
you see a whole bunch, and then there's people that
you miss. And Fitzgerald was one of those people, and
(13:15):
I'd always respected him from afar, kind of like watching
LeVar's career, who's around the same age as me. Pat
Fitzgerald's a little older now. And I was fascinated. It
was around the time that I left Cal and was
going to USC. I was fascinated with that Northwestern team
and Musso and Steve Schnur, the quarterback and Darnell Autry,
(13:37):
the running back and Gary Barnett, the coach. And many
years later, I worked with Gary Barnett a bunch on
TV and really developed a relationship with him that I value.
And I met Darnell Autry, who played on the Eagles
team with a friend of mine. So I got to
know some of those people, but I never and always
(13:58):
got to tell them how much I admired what they did.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
And I never got to meet Pat Fitzgerald.
Speaker 9 (14:03):
So getting to meet him and seeing that he wasn't, like,
a super uptight– like, I thought he'd be just a
little too straight.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 9 (14:11):
And he wasn't like that at all. Like, he was
a real giant port-a-potty head.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
He's a dude.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Yeah, yeah. I loved him. He's a dude. Yeah. I was– he–
You know, you.
Speaker 9 (14:25):
Watch people from afar for years and years and years,
and then you meet them. And in our business, you
can almost often always be a little disappointed. And I'm
sure people feel that way. If anybody admires me, I'm
sure if they meet me, they're extremely, supremely disappointed. But
Pat Fitzgerald was everything I expected him to be and
(14:48):
wanted him to be.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
And I really.
Speaker 9 (14:51):
am happy for the people in East Lansing. I've done
a bunch of Michigan state games in the last three
years because they haven't been that good. And that's what
happens to you. If you're not that good, you get
me and my port-a-potty head coming around town. And I, I, my,
I have in-laws who went there and some family connections
with Michigan state, and I have some Spartan blood in me.
(15:12):
So I'm really pleased for that, that community. Cause he
seems like just the perfect fit.
Speaker 8 (15:18):
Petros the, you know, from one coach being cool to
another coach being, what will we say, super cool or
super cringe? I don't know which way you might want
to go with it, but Lane Kiffin came in. He
made what you would consider to be a hell of
an entrance coming into his first game, and then he
(15:42):
made a statement in the game. What was your takeaway
on the Lane Kiffin era getting started at LSU?
Speaker 9 (15:49):
Well, I think that It's a long season, and obviously
they looked really impressive, and he is leaning in to himself.
They are going full villain mode, LSU against the world
and even more so. So it seems to be, I mean,
(16:09):
it's one weekend, and it's a long season, and there's
a lot of ups and downs, and we'll see where
this ends up. They obviously look pretty special. I saw
a radio show with a bunch of Southern guys like,
I don't need to see anything else. They're going to
win every game by 30 touchdowns. And maybe that's the case.
I mean, while they were playing, I was calling a
(16:31):
really bad New Mexico-Central Michigan game where Central Michigan, I
don't think they crossed the 50 until late.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
And I don't think they had one yard of offense.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
So the west side is better than the east side
in Michigan, huh?
Speaker 9 (16:46):
Well, Central won a– they won a– this year, yeah.
Central went to a bowl game last year, but they
just could not– New Mexico might be pretty good. And
Jason Eck is probably one of the hottest coaches in
America since we're going real deep college football today. I
was pretty impressed with him. But I didn't see the game.
I heard they were wildly impressive. I know I've known
(17:09):
Lane Kiffin since 2001. Do you like him.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
As a person? No, no, no. When he talks, he
makes me cringe. But personally, do you know? No, no, no.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
Did you get personal time with him?
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
Like, you know, laying, like, are we good?
Speaker 9 (17:25):
No, I know him about as well as I need
to know him, and I don't need to know anymore.
It's like what Maya Angelou said it best, the great poet.
When somebody shows you who they are, believe them the
first time.
Speaker 7 (17:40):
It's almost as if when he's talking... You know he's lying.
He knows he's lying. And you're just sort of in, like, wow,
this is really.
Speaker 9 (17:48):
Yeah, and they're a bunch of fat, really, really red-faced
people in Baton Rouge with gout because they eat charbroiled oysters.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
God bless them. I love them. Easy on the gout.
God bless them. I love them. I'll fight you.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Bite the gout, Petros. Easy on the gout.
Speaker 9 (18:03):
I'm just saying, well, are you a white guy with
a red face in Baton Rouge saying, that's our guy?
Speaker 7 (18:08):
No.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
That's our guy. Go, Tigers. Go, Tigers. God damn it,
my foot hurts, but that's my guy. Oh, you got
my homie.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
You homie tiger bait now? You're tiger bait?
Speaker 6 (18:18):
It's like a body they pull from the lake. Lips falling.
Speaker 10 (18:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Just bloated.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
No, that is not me, by the way.
Speaker 9 (18:28):
But, yeah, Lane Kiffin, look, college football, I love college
football because it's so stupid. I mean, and it always
has been. And it's never been more stupid because the
money is more stupid. And if there's anybody that embodies
modern-day college football stupidity, it's Lane Kiffin. And it's a
(18:52):
hell of a story. And we'll see where it ends up.
Everywhere he's been, everybody hates him.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
I can tell you that. Golly. Am I wrong?
Speaker 5 (19:02):
That's a strong emotion.
Speaker 9 (19:04):
Well, I mean, he's left everywhere in shambles.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
He's burned every bridge in every place he's been.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
That's what they say.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
That's the truth.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Dang.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
So I don't know. I mean, yes, we're having fun
in the moment, but I don't know where it's going
to end.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
But in reality, like, he sucks as a person. That's
what you're saying?
Speaker 9 (19:23):
If you had to ask me if he sucks or
doesn't suck as a person, I'd have to lean with
the former. But, of course, there's people that will tell
you that I suck as a person. It would be
hard to argue.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
With.
Speaker 6 (19:38):
What gave me you on the call for this weekend?
Speaker 3 (19:40):
I'm really excited, actually.
Speaker 9 (19:42):
I'm going to go to, even though I hate traveling
and it's crippling for my anxiety, I'm.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Going to the Air Force. Academy. I have never been
to the Air Force Academy.
Speaker 9 (19:53):
I have clearance to be on base and do the
radio show on base, which I'm really, really thrilled about.
And it's a hell of a game. Air Force, you know,
Air Force doesn't have any of the modern college football
stuff that we talk about.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
It's an academy. And They they're either really young or
they're older.
Speaker 9 (20:13):
So the team moves in cycles and they're they're they're
on an up cycle with their offense. So usually when
they have that, they win eight or nine games. So
that's cool. And they're playing North Dakota State. and that's
awesome because North Dakota State's a great story.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
They're a pretty good team, right?
Speaker 3 (20:31):
They're great.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
That's the green and yellow team, right?
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Correct, the Bison. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 9 (20:36):
And they're new to FBS, and it's not the first
North Dakota State game I've done, but really excited to
do that. They have a great coach in Polasek, an
awesome culture. It's just a great celebration of two cultures.
Troy Calhoun is in his 20th year at Air Force.
He the great thing about him and his coordinators is
(21:00):
that he played at Air Force and he served. So
he knows exactly what the young men are, that he
knows exactly who they are and what's expected of them.
I'm sure you couldn't blow up a person with the
click of a mouse when he was in the Air Force.
But but a lot of these guys can now. And
they can kill a guy with a click of a mouse.
Speaker 5 (21:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
But he could not. He should.
Speaker 9 (21:27):
Too much celebration for Troy Calhoun shouldn't exist. So I'm
excited to get out there and celebrate him in his
20th year. And I think they have on Friday night
on 9-11, they're going to do a statue unveiling of
Fisher DeBerry, who was, of course, the coach before Troy Calhoun.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
And that's kind of cool, too.
Speaker 9 (21:48):
There's only one guy who's coached longer in college football,
tenured right now, and that's Ferentz more than Troy.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
And Hayden Fry was Kirk Ferentz. At one place, right? Right, yes.
Speaker 9 (22:00):
And Hayden Fry was the coach before Ferentz. And Fisher
DeBerry was the coach at Air Force before Troy Calhoun.
And that's an exciting thing to discuss. So we'll be
out there for that.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Hayden Fry, not to be confused with the actor of,
what was the show called?
Speaker 3 (22:17):
Hayden Fox. Hayden Fox. Craig T. Nelson.
Speaker 9 (22:20):
Yeah, Craig T., the guy from Poltergeist. The dad in
Troop Beverly Hills.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
What was the name of, was it like Minnesota or
someone who was coaching?
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Minnesota State Screaming Eagles. That's right.
Speaker 9 (22:32):
And he had Dauber and Jerry Van Dyke.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Yeah, Coach was a great underrated show.
Speaker 6 (22:39):
Who's Dauber?
Speaker 9 (22:39):
He got like an NFL expansion job in Florida, remember?
Speaker 6 (22:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
And he had the hot, curly-haired reporter girlfriend. Oh, yeah.
I don't remember.
Speaker 5 (22:48):
I'm trying to remember.
Speaker 6 (22:49):
Dauber was the defensive coordinator, right?
Speaker 9 (22:53):
Yeah, Dauber was either an assistant or the other guy,
Jerry Van Dyke. Or if Jerry Van Dam or whatever,
the other guy was his coordinator.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
I do.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
It was a good show. Yeah, I do remember it.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
Hayden Fox.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
Yeah, that was a good show.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Minnesota State Screaming Eagles.
Speaker 5 (23:14):
I do remember it.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Okay, that's cool.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
They never showed the games.
Speaker 6 (23:20):
No.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
They were always walking in the locker room.
Speaker 9 (23:23):
Yeah, they were always walking in the locker room with
the face, the eye black smudged on their face.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Or in the house, right? That was a tough one
against Purdue.
Speaker 5 (23:32):
A lot of it took place in his office and
in the house, right?
Speaker 3 (23:36):
Mostly, yes.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Yeah, dude. What is that?
Speaker 5 (23:40):
Late, mid-90s?
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Yeah. Mid-90s.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
Yeah, coach.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Yeah, 80s, 90s. Was it 80s? Well, let me look. Yeah, let's.
Speaker 6 (23:49):
89. 89.
Speaker 9 (23:51):
You guys could stop a freaking.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Yeah, 89. 89 to 97. There you go.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
That's a hell of a run.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
Yeah, but I say I had a nice little run.
Speaker 7 (24:01):
But if you really want to watch something, 10 Eastern time,
Saturday night on FS1. Petros will be on the call.
Speaker 5 (24:09):
He's so good.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
Oh, Dauber. Guys, Dauber is the voice of Patrick on SpongeBob. Really? Yeah.
Speaker 9 (24:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (24:16):
Oh, wow.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
That changes things for me.
Speaker 9 (24:18):
Well, you know, I thought that that would be a
little bit more impactful piece of information.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
When I saw it. And you guys didn't care as much.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
No, I just don't know how I feel about Coach now.
Speaker 5 (24:31):
I'm a big Spongebob fan.
Speaker 9 (24:34):
How do you feel about a secret Salvador Dali melting
clock in the back of the replay room at the
big house?
Speaker 3 (24:40):
Dang.
Speaker 8 (24:42):
Dang.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Hey, you guys, could you guys find us another second
up there? Yeah, hold on. We're going to look. Dang.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
In all seriousness, Petros, I mean, is it hard not
to be skeptical of that situation where someone calls in
and they're.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
Like, guys, we've got to do something here. This is
Michigan Week 1.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
We can't. I mean, come on.
Speaker 9 (25:02):
But then for old billion-dollar Bryce to go out and
make the throw, you know, he had to go do that.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
He did have to make the throw. He did have
to go make the throw.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
He did still have to make the throw.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
He didn't have to act all hard afterwards, though. Oh, wow.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Oh, wow.
Speaker 9 (25:16):
It's like, get off the field before anybody recognizes you, dude.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Dang.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
After the first one sailed out of bounds, it's like,
come on, dude.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
You got one job. Just give them an opportunity. You
guys got any balls there, down there?
Speaker 9 (25:30):
About the biggest pair you've ever seen, Dingleberry.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Dang.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
Big old ball.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
That's for you, Jonah.
Speaker 7 (25:37):
Oh, perfect for Jonas.
Speaker 6 (25:39):
Did you just strain?
Speaker 3 (25:41):
You were picking up that milk? I heard you strain
right there.
Speaker 6 (25:45):
Appreciate it. Get them on X at the OP.

So do you guys have your NFL picks for the season?
You want to bang these out here? How are we
(27:49):
feeling about things when it comes to the NFL season preview?
Speaker 6 (27:52):
Because I'm ready to go. I'm ready to rock and roll.
Speaker 5 (27:56):
Let's bang them on out.
Speaker 7 (27:57):
All right.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
Bang them out. Bang them out.
Speaker 6 (28:01):
Who wants to be first?
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Bang these games out.
Speaker 5 (28:05):
Bang them out. Bang them out. Bang them out.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Come on.
Speaker 6 (28:08):
It wants to be first.
Speaker 5 (28:09):
Bang them out. Bang them out. Bang them out.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
Bang them out. You want to go?
Speaker 1 (28:12):
I mean, I'll do my best to go as fast
as possible.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Come on. Let's go, Q. All right. All right. Get
to this.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
As you know, go to playoffpredictors.com. You can do all
of this. It's really easy. It's a lot of fun.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
All right.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Where do we start?
Speaker 5 (28:30):
AFC, NFC? Let's go NFC.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
NFC, okay, winning the NFC West. I've got the LA
Rams at number one with a 12-5 record. Bottom of
the barrel, Arizona Cardinals, no surprise there. In the NFC North,
the Detroit Lions at 12-5, eking one out of the Jonas'
Chicago Bears, but I do have them as a playoff team.
Next up, the NFC East. I've got the Eagles and
(28:54):
Cowboys tied at 11-6. However, the Eagles win the tiebreaker
in this instance. And finally, the NFC South getting one
team in. The Tampa Bay Bucs at 9-8.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Ooh.
Speaker 6 (29:06):
Wins, wins. Are we 2-0?
Speaker 1 (29:12):
The other playoff team, by the way, is the San
Francisco 49ers at 10-7.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Sorry.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
They're the wild card team. Seattle misses out just barely
at 9-8.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Sorry, Patty.
Speaker 8 (29:22):
So for my NFC East winner, I have Dallas pulling
it out this year, so to speak.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Right.
Speaker 8 (29:32):
For the NFC West, I have the Rams as well.
For the South, I have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. winning
it happy Baker Mayfield a division that we really don't
know I feel like Carolina could be the team that
competes for it but Tampa Bay seems to be the
(29:53):
team a surpriser that I do have on my list
for the North is the Vikings I believe this is
a team, and I will circle back on the Vikings
one more time as well.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
I think they have the ability.
Speaker 8 (30:08):
To not only find the form that they did when
Sam Darnold was there, but also potentially have the same
type of results they had when, or I should say
the Seahawks had when Sam Darnold landed in Seattle. So
Dallas Rams, Tampa Bikes.
Speaker 5 (30:27):
For the NFC.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
Sticks picks.
Speaker 6 (30:30):
For your wildcard teams.
Speaker 8 (30:31):
Wildcard teams for the NFC will be Philly, Chicago, and
Green Bay.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
All right. There we go.
Speaker 9 (30:41):
I will.
Speaker 7 (30:41):
Here are my NFC picks. I've got the Cowboys winning
the NFC East. I've got the Rams. I don't think
it's just so popular of a pick, but I think
the Rams are loaded. I think they win the NFC West.
I've got the Detroit Lions who have gotten no coverage,
no buzz whatsoever this offseason winning the NFC North. And
then a surprise in the south. But not that much
(31:01):
of a surprise because they're second in odds. I've got
the New Orleans Saints winning the NFC South, and my
wildcard teams would be the Chicago Bears, the Philadelphia Eagles,
and then I've got the Seattle Seahawks getting in as
a wildcard team in the NFC.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
Knocks.
Speaker 10 (31:17):
Locks.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
All right, over to the AFC.
Speaker 5 (31:22):
Missing the playoff?
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Jams.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
Super Bowl hangovers are real, even though they won theirs.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
We'll see what they have up next.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
AFC North, I've got three teams making it to the playoffs,
led by the Cincinnati Bengals at 13-4.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
The Steelers at 11-6.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Thought their schedule was a little bit easier than I
initially anticipated. And then the Baltimore Ravens at 10-7 make
it in as another wildcard spot, but three from the
AFC North. The AFC East, I've got the Buffalo Bills
at 11-6 winning it, and the New England Patriots just
missing out at 9-8. I've got the Los Angeles Chargers
(31:56):
winning the AFC West at 11-6.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
The Chiefs not too far behind at 10-7, but the.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Denver Broncos I've got just again missing the playoffs 9-8
and lastly the AFC South I've got the Jacksonville Jaguars
at 10-7 and the Houston Texans again just missing the
playoffs at 9-8 that's my AFC picture.
Speaker 6 (32:15):
For you wins wins we were on.
Speaker 5 (32:21):
We were on the same page with the East.
Speaker 8 (32:22):
I got the Bills taking the East, but I believe
the Broncos will continue trending upward right now. I got
them winning the AFC West. I look at the AFC South.
A lot of people want to put dirt, Jonas Knox,
on CJ Stroud and him being the weak link of
this team with an amazing, tremendous defense. and some weapons
(32:45):
on offense. But I think CJ Stroud actually plays up
to the level that we saw him play at when
he was a rookie. I have the Texans winning the
AFC South with a bunch of new coaches in the
AFC North. You would think by default. that this Cincinnati
Bengals team, it's their year to try to get it again,
(33:07):
get back on track. But for some reason, I keep
falling victim to being hooked and reeled by the Baltimore Ravens.
I'm going with the Ravens, Bills, Broncos, Texans, Ravens. And
in my wild card selections, I have Kansas City, Jacksonville,
and the Bengals making the wild card run into the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
There you go.
Speaker 7 (33:33):
All right, my AFC picks. I've got the Bills winning
the East. I think New England's going to be bad
this year. All right, let me not say bad. I
just think they're going to have a really down year.
I think they're going to come back down to earth
off the soft schedule they had.
Speaker 8 (33:45):
So what you're saying is they were cheating on people
last year.
Speaker 7 (33:49):
Well, that depends on what rooftop you're on.
Speaker 6 (33:51):
But I've got the Bills winning the East. I've got
the Chargers winning the West.
Speaker 7 (33:55):
I feel like I pick them every single year, but
this does feel– Like like L.A. 's got a real
opportunity here with Patrick Holmes coming back from injury. And
then I think the Broncos take a step back. I've
got the Bengals winning the north. I've got the Houston
Texans winning the south. And my wildcard teams in the
AFC are going to be the Baltimore Ravens.
Speaker 6 (34:16):
The Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 7 (34:17):
And this was the most difficult one to pick the
final wildcard spot. I went with the Jaguars, but I
was debating between them, Pittsburgh and Denver today. And ultimately,
I trusted Pete Prisco. So if he fails me, then
I will lose a wild card pick there. But that's
my AFC picks.
Speaker 6 (34:36):
Hey, Sticks, I owe you one of these.
Speaker 3 (34:39):
Sticks picks.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
Sure thing.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
All right, now for the playoffs, and I will go
all the way up to the Super Bowl, but I
would not pick the Super Bowl yet. In the AFC,
I have, in the wildcard round, the Chargers defeating the
Kansas City Chiefs to advance, the Jacksonville Jaguars as the
four-seat advancing over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
And the Buffalo Bills beating the Baltimore Ravens to advance
to the divisional round.
Speaker 6 (35:09):
I didn't do a.
Speaker 8 (35:11):
playoff breakdown i did not use wins break down the
playoff bracket i will break down like you did i
don't know who's gonna play i don't know who's gonna
play one another i don't know what the matchups are
gonna be i.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
Just Pick two is going to be in the Super Bowl,
so I'll wait on y'all for that.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
All right, I'll keep going. I've got the Chargers beating
the Bills in the divisional round.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
Sorry for those Bills fans at Highmark Stadium, but it
should be a great year. Just a little bit concerned
about what the defense is going to look like with
Joe Brady now at head coach, not Sean McDermott. I've
got the Bengals defeating Pete Prescott's Jacksonville Jaguars to set
up an AFC championship game between the Los Angeles Chargers
and the Cincinnati Bengals. Ooh.
Speaker 8 (35:53):
Wins, wins.
Speaker 9 (35:54):
Oh!
Speaker 5 (35:55):
What you got?
Speaker 6 (35:55):
You want me to go?
Speaker 5 (35:56):
I mean, I'm not doing that. I'm not doing a
breakdown of the playoffs.
Speaker 7 (36:00):
Well, I mean, I'll skip right past to the AFC champion.
I've got the Bengals winning the AFC.
Speaker 5 (36:05):
Okay.
Speaker 7 (36:06):
So I've got Cincinnati winning the AFC. That's my AFC champion.
Speaker 8 (36:09):
I have the Bills winning the AFC championship round this year.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
There you go.
Speaker 5 (36:14):
I have them advancing to.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
Sticks picks.
Speaker 5 (36:16):
Yeah, I think they get over the hump this year
of getting out of the AFC championship.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
All right.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
But it's going to be a shocker.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
Next up, we'll do the NFC.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
I've got the Lions winning against the San Francisco 49ers,
the Cowboys upsetting the Eagles, and the Chicago Bears, Jonas'
Chicago Bears, beating the Tampa Bay Bucks in the wildcard round,
which sets up the Rams being defeated by the red-hot
Dallas Cowboys, the Bears defeating the Detroit Lions, which sets
up for a Cowboys-Bears NFC championship game.
Speaker 6 (36:49):
No kidding. How about that, huh?
Speaker 3 (36:51):
There you go.
Speaker 6 (36:53):
I've got the Detroit Lions winning the NFC.
Speaker 7 (36:56):
I think the Lions are going to beat the Cowboys
in the NFC title game.
Speaker 6 (36:59):
And I think we're going to get a Detroit.
Speaker 7 (37:01):
Cincinnati Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium. I, too, have an
NFC North team.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
But, again, we've got the Vikings.
Speaker 8 (37:10):
The Vikings are going to be the team that represents
the NFC this year. Wow. And I believe it will
be the Bills versus the Vikings in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
All right.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
I've got the Bengals beating the Chargers to get to
the Super Bowl and the Cowboys beating Jonas' Chicago Bears.
And ultimately, the Cincinnati Bengals beating the Dallas Cowboys. Before
Pete Prisco ever predicted it. I'm throwing it out there
right now. The Bengals win this year's Super Bowl.
Speaker 8 (37:38):
I got the Minnesota Vikings bringing home the Super Bowl,
and Kyler Murray.
Speaker 5 (37:42):
Will be the MVP of the game.
Speaker 7 (37:45):
I got Bengals over Lions, and those are our Super
Bowl picks for 2026.
Speaker 6 (37:49):
And up next, we've got the leftovers right here on FSR.

Sounds incredible.
Speaker 6 (39:05):
Here's the leftovers all right what do we got.
Speaker 11 (39:08):
All right we're back to Dijon Love the master of
deceit who scammed more than two dozen women into giving
him and his cohort 1.3 million dollars uh well the
FBI actually turned in a couple of videos that he
used that they found on his iCloud he sent these
videos more than 185 times in total take a listen
(39:28):
to what he said Really.
Speaker 10 (39:30):
Really good friends who play in the NFL right now. One,
his name is Tyreek Hill. He plays for the Miami Dolphins.
He just got traded last season from the Kansas City Chiefs.
One of my best friends, John Brown. He just was
all over the league last season. But now he's with
the Buffalo Bills again. He was with them before. And
(39:51):
he's also my personal chef's brother. And Antonio Brown is
another one of my good friends.
Speaker 11 (39:58):
So he's claiming he's friends with some big names, big players, right? Well,
Tyreek Hill kind of affirmed what he said.
Speaker 5 (40:05):
It is once.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
I'm going to say this for all.
Speaker 12 (40:08):
A lot of people want to know, do I know
Dejan Love?
Speaker 2 (40:11):
To be honest, that's my boy.
Speaker 12 (40:15):
We used to train together and everything bro i just
never really thought to bring him up though because bro
bro like bro like ran like a four two he
really was nasty though like them clips y'all seeing on
the beach bro probably like just trolling having a good
time though but bro really like that man him i
got in the bed a few times he used to
come to diego with me we used to wake.
Speaker 11 (40:36):
Boys but he was kidding tyreek was just kidding he's
just playing into the joke he was all up in it.
Speaker 5 (40:43):
I love it.
Speaker 6 (40:44):
I can't believe how this has turned kind of positive
in a way.
Speaker 5 (40:47):
Why should it be negative?
Speaker 3 (40:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
All these people get, I don't know, you.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Just frauded women out of 1.3 million?
Speaker 8 (40:54):
Again, women have been frauding football players and athletes out
of their money for many, many years.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
Dang, Lorena, what are.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
You going to say about that?
Speaker 6 (41:03):
Honestly, women prep for that.
Speaker 11 (41:04):
They look for athletes and men who are going to
take care of them for life.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
It's a fact.
Speaker 5 (41:07):
A guy already got you.
