You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
A little jump cut.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
I'm distracted.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Can you imagine LeVar before a game?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Woo.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
LeVar's just looking at himself in the mirror, getting himself
psyched up, listening to Thunderstruck.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
He's going to smash someone's skull.

Speaker 6 (00:49):
But, yeah, this was the scene in Varsity Blues where
they got smoked, right?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
And they came up out of the strip club.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
They got out of the strip club.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (00:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (00:59):
Well, hey, maybe there's a football team somewhere getting ready
for this weekend, walking out of a strip club right now.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Ready to go. Rams last night.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Yeah. You know, that is true.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Came out the club.

Speaker 6 (01:15):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio. LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox
with you. You can listen to us on the iHeartRadio app.
Find us on hundreds and hundreds of affiliates all across
the country. We will be taking you live all the
way up until the end of this hour, 9 a.m.
Eastern time, 6 o'clock Pacific. It's a football Friday here
on the show. And if you're listening on the podcast,
we appreciate you doing so. We opened up the show

(01:37):
talking about what we saw last night in Melbourne.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Which still sounds weird to me to say.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
But nonetheless, congratulations, the 49ers. And for those of you
waking up on the West Coast with us here, the 49ers, impressive,
look dialed in. They were rocking and rolling. And the
Rams look like they just got off a 16-hour flight
is basically how that game looked last night. And I
know that Albert Breer said yesterday that week one is

(02:05):
a liar. um i don't know man uh kyle shannon's
been telling the truth against sean mcveigh for a while
now it seems like and this was a de facto
home game for the rams um they lost this game
off from sofi all the way over to australia and
it just seemed like how a lot of those games
go we saw it last year remember the game on

(02:26):
thursday night last year where the 49ers had uh It
was Mac Jones starting at quarterback. He was eating bananas
because he was going through body cramps. I think Trent
Williams was out. They were all banged up. They still
won that game. There's something about Kyle Shanahan getting his
team ready to play the Rams and Sean McVay, especially

(02:47):
when they.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Got to go on the road. There's just something about
that matchup.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
He's 12-8 all-time, Shanahan is, versus McVay. That includes the
playoffs after last night's win, so He's definitely gotten the better,
Sean McFadden. I think if you were being honest with yourselves,
you look at the both rosters, there might be times
where they're more evenly matched, or maybe you'd give San
Francisco the nod in that department, but I don't feel
like it's as often. Of the 20 times they've played

(03:11):
each other, I would venture to say, too, the Rams
probably have the more talented roster, or maybe some more stars.
I think Matthew Stafford is going to be viewed as
a guy that's Hall of Fame worthy in some cases.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I don't know that we'll ever view Brock Purdy as that.
Maybe we will. His career is still early on, but.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
When you look at how he's able to maximize the players,
the talent that he has, it truly is remarkable where
it feels like they can do more with less in
comparison to what Sean McVay and the Rams, granted they've
accomplished a lot, but when they go head-to-head, Shanahan always
gets the best of them.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Yeah, but Shanahan don't get what McVay has, and that's
a Lombardi trophy sitting in his house.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
And listen, I, I get it. I get that.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
He gets the best of, of McVay and the whole
rivalry between them. I'm going to go with, with what
AB said. I'm not going to get lost and carried
away in this first game. I'm not going to use
travel as, as the excuse. And that's the reason I
love that Jonas, you want to make it about it being, um,

(04:22):
It makes a big.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Difference, man. You've got to admit, it makes a big difference.
They look terrible. Listen, I get it. They looked like
they were sleepwalking. I get it. All I'm going to
say is I'm not using travel as an excuse. I'm sorry.
If my life was on the line.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Now, does that have a little bit to do with
our current situation right now with this radio show and
the travel and how it's impacting our show?

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I mean, I don't feel impacted at all. Okay. We
feel a bit impacted by it, all right?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
It sounds like you're talking in a tin can, but
that's fine.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
I mean, maybe my technology isn't the best, but I'll
say this. Let's not blame it on travel. Well, I'm
not blaming it on travel. I mean, I could have
been in a studio or anything like that. I'm not
going to call out what was agreed.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
Upon before I arrived. Are you going to blame it
on Eric Curis? Did Eric Curis let you down? Is
that what's happening here, Barr?

Speaker 2 (05:27):
No, no, no. I'm not blaming anything. The show must
go on.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
It's either you show up to play or you don't.
You know, and that's the bottom line. So, I mean,
we've had to do it a hundred times with you, Q.
So I don't know why you're standing on a soapbox
about impacting our show.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Our show is just because you need to get better technology.
That's what you need to get. I mean, you know,
if I had a higher profile and.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
I was a quarterback for Notre Dame, and I was popular,
and I had a Prince Charming chin and all that stuff.
I just think you don't like to bring all that
equipment with you. My Comrex is sitting right here. It
just doesn't have anything to plug in. It has nothing
to plug into. And believe me, I love plugging in.

(06:19):
So if I had something to plug in, I would
be plugged in.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
Now, Mike Evans of the 49ers who showed up and
scored a touchdown in last night's game.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
He was a little bit taken.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
Back by the schedule that the Rams had implemented going
into that game.

Speaker 8 (06:43):
When did they get out here?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
When did they get out here? Seriously. Oh, dang.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
I mean, you've got to get your body time to adjust.

Speaker 8 (06:59):
I mean, obviously, whenever the game is scheduled, you've got
to be ready to play. But maybe a few days
earlier would have been ideal. But no matter what, we
don't care if they came a week or two weeks earlier.
We had it on our mind to come out here
and execute, and we did that.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
So there we go.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
I think the last part is the most relevant part. Yeah,
you do. Yeah, I can see that. You know, you
come out here to execute, you execute. Yeah. That's all.

Speaker 9 (07:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
That's all. What? I'm hanging up. I'm hanging up. LeVar
doesn't have the experience we do.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Flying over to Ireland, which I think you could admit too,
like even just being out there, it took you a
few days to get acclimated.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Like, it's just weird.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I would say it probably didn't feel, you probably didn't
feel normal until last Saturday.

Speaker 9 (07:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Brady. Yeah. It did take a couple of days. I
bet you Lee DeLapp drank the same exact way with
the same vigor and energy day one. Not true.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
I bet you it was the same day one.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I think his best night was Friday night, was it not? Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
We went on a bar hop Friday night in Dublin.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Friday night was his best night. He had been acclimated
for a few days.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
It was very odd. Every place we went to, they
played Britney Spears for some reason. And I don't know
if it was like, yeah, that was the current music
in Dublin at the time.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
But yeah, we just noticed.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
She's not that current, bro.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
I know. That's the point.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Old stuff.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Yeah. Like, it was very strange. There was three or
four spots.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
When y'all went to Dublin, she was not current.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
What kind of bars did you go to? I didn't
experience any of that. We just went bar hopping. Like,
it was either old folk music, Irish folk music, or
it might have been.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Who knows?

Speaker 2 (08:50):
I just know after the New Orleans trip, you know, I,
you know.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
What about the New Orleans trip?

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Dublin, New Orleans, what does it matter?

Speaker 6 (09:01):
First of all, I do think that LeVar cannot relate
to this from the standpoint that his ability to ignore
what time of day it is and just go with
what he's got to go with at whatever point in
the day it is, was really on full display in
new Orleans because we walked out of the, we walked

(09:22):
out of the convention center.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
At eight in the morning, new Orleans time, got back
to the hotel, which was like an eight to 10
minute walk and, Got back to the hotel. He went
straight to the bar, had beignets and hurricanes at 8.15
in the morning.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
It was like there was no issue. Lee threw up.
Lee literally threw up. He blew chunks. He does that.
He couldn't help it. LeVar's like, yeah, whatever, man.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
And there was just no.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
So I don't I think LeVar is I think he's
just so far past whatever your normal planning schedule is
that he doesn't understand why the Rams came out and
look like the trash can that Lee threw up into.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
If you don't have to plan, then you're always ready. That's,
you know.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Just take it. That made no sense. Let me tell you,
if you're always ready, you don't have to get ready, right?
I'll say the one dude that got me beat is
Mike Irvin, though, man. I've never seen anybody be on 10,
24 hours like Mike Irvin, man.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
He was there last night.

Speaker 6 (10:38):
He was on the Netflix broadcast.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Yeah, he was. Yeah, he was. Yep. Yeah, he was.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
I would say for Netflix, I think that they've started
to figure out the NFL. I think they do a
pretty good job. The other stuff is brutal. Their coverage
of the Field of Dreams game was awful. The Home
Run Derby was atrocious.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Why do you think that is? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
Do you think it's the influence from... Their help with
the NFL? Because you'd assume the NFL doesn't want their
product to look bad on any platform, right?

Speaker 6 (11:13):
I don't know if it's because they've had more reps
doing it, because it's been a couple of years since
their first 4A and everything, but the other stuff they've
really missed on.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
And with football, it seems like they've figured it out.
So I don't know.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
Which team are you guys more down on after their
first game?

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Like, is it New England? Probably the Patriots. Yeah, the
Patriots by far.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
The Patriots aren't going to the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Well, I mean, look, A.J. Brown's got an injured ankle.
He's out four weeks. So that's concerning. I think if
you look at Romeo.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Dobbs, he hasn't had the impact he's going to need
to have in the coming weeks.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
You know, May's interceptions, just the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
I think there's been a lot of, you know, we
could call it distractions, but if this stuff continues... When
they're not playing well on the field, it's only going
to lead people more to pointing back to that.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
So I thought Will Campbell played better. That was pretty
well documented.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
Did you see the photo of somebody put together of
Will Campbell sitting on the bench?

Speaker 4 (12:16):
His hands are coming out of his armpits.

Speaker 6 (12:21):
And then somebody took Romeo Dobbs and in place of
his hands, they put sticks of butter and showed him
trying to catch a pass. That was not a good
night for the Patriots. I think by far and away
they had the worst of the last couple of nights.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
By far and away.

Speaker 6 (12:37):
Niners are the star. Seattle picked up a win with
a backup. And then you've got the Rams, who I'm
not overly concerned with. I think they're going to be
fine moving forward, especially if their coach can figure out
how to put together a travel plan on road games.
And then I think that the Patriots were awful. That

(12:58):
was not great for New England.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
Now, by the way, did you happen to see, I
know we've made mention of the Kyle Shanahan.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
There was the police report that, you.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
Know, came out where they were trying to figure out,
you know, what happened in the accident and whatnot. We
mentioned it kind of in passing as a joke earlier.
Did you see, LeVar, have you heard anything about this
Big Dom investigation that's currently going on?

Speaker 5 (13:24):
And if it's true, the way it all came about, like,
Emmanuel Acho being Emmanuel Acho, I.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Think that's whack. Yeah. Super dumb, super stupid.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Can I just— That's lowbrow.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
For people that don't know, can I just— So what
happened was, in July, Emmanuel Acho went on his podcast
or whatever it is, and he said that when he
was playing in the NFL, he rear-ended another car, he
contacted Team Security— He says a security official told him
to send away the responding officer because another officer would

(14:01):
come and determine the crash wasn't his fault. Ocho says
a second officer arrived, blamed the other driver. After the
driver learned Ocho was an NFL player, he claimed injuries.
He says team security offered the other driver tickets and
signed jerseys, and the issue went away. And so people
started to.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
I think that has to be one of the dumbest
assertions of that I've ever heard.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
And so now the NFL reportedly is investigating Big Dom
because they think it might have been him because Acho
played for the Eagles.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Like, what are we doing?

Speaker 5 (14:38):
Which I think it's dumb to do an investigation off
of what he said. I mean, there are some people
that do media that are for.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
It's funny. Former players, there are, like.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
There's like different, different levels of it. There's the level
of a player that will be unassuming about their career,
but are very, very meticulous in how they approach discussing,
you know, sports and the game and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
There are some guys that over.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Embellish everything and that's how they, they get their, their
clout and the media game. I don't, I do not– listen,
I'm not a hater of anybody who gets it the
way they get it in the media field.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Great. Do what you do.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
But Emmanuel Acho is the type of guy that he's
going to have things to say and it's going to
come across as outlandish or how could that have happened.
And he stands on it because he played. I mean,
he did play. He did have a pro career. And–
But I think that you've got to take with a

(15:51):
grain of salt what some guys say about certain things
that they've experienced.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
I think this is one of those times. I would
hope that in.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
The realm of reality and the real world that there
isn't an investigation being based off of what Emmanuel Acho
said specifically. I would hope that there was something else
more to it than just saying, oh, we heard Emmanuel
Acho say this on his show.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
So now we're going to open an investigation.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
I would hope that that isn't legitimately 100 percent the
reason why an investigation is taking place.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
Well, you know, you got to get to get some
life lock. I know that.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
If you know your favorite player's stats, data brokers, they
know plenty about you and sell it. LifeLock removes exposed
information from data brokers and protects your identity. Get LifeLock
at LifeLock.com and use code 2PROS, that's T-W-O-PROS, for up
to 30% off your first year.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Point that out there.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Looking back at this, I think every player who's played
knows that their security department usually tries to help them
out in some capacity, some way, shape, or form. um
I I don't know why Osho is bringing all this
stuff out you know and mentioning all this stuff feels
like he's kind of outing a lot of folks who
probably did him some favors in the past which I'm
not saying it's right right or wrong but that's pretty

(17:15):
much how it how it goes how things are operated
so it's unfortunate it's unfortunate to hear like that being
the case you know Big Dom's obviously done a lot
of good for a lot of the players in Philly
and there's a lot of security guys who are in
a similar position that do the same thing but.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Why would the cop leave? You know what I mean? Like, yeah,
there's obviously this cop to leave and this cop showed
up and come on.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Wait, are you Emmanuel Ocho?

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Oh, sir. Yes, sir.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
I'm getting out of here. Let's stick it around for this.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Hey, take my phone. This person on the phone has
some instructions for you, Mr. Officer.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
Yeah, Mr. Officer, can you get in your car and leave?
There's another officer on his way to the scene of
the accident.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Thank you. You're good here. Like what? Come on, bro.
Like at some point, just just. Stick to what you know.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
I mean, uncomfortable conversations with an African about black and
white people is what you did really well.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
At, and I think that that's good. That's good for you.
That's good for you.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
That ain't working with an African and black people and white.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
People. Wait, wait. I think he started off one of
his shows with an African talking about.

Speaker 5 (18:36):
An African talking about conversations with black people and white people.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
You said uncomfortable conversations.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
With an African. Uncomfortable conversations. Well, that's what it was called.
You're the best. That's what it was called. You're the best.
I mean, and you start off your show by saying,
I don't even really relate to the traumas that American
black people have because I'm Nigerian, I'm African.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
And if you understand it the way that he was
saying it, he's right. It's a whole different conversation. That's
a different conversation. All I'm saying is stick to what
got you to where you are. And that was having
uncomfortable conversations as an African talking about American black people

(19:26):
and white folks and their issues. That's how you got famous.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
That's where it happened.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Well, hey, let me tell you this. Something that's not
an uncomfortable conversation to have with you, LeVar.

Speaker 7 (19:37):
What?

Speaker 2 (19:38):
It's taking M-Drive every morning. Well, that is true. And
you know that.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
You're over 40 when that testosterone drops, baby, when that
energy changes.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
And keeping the weight off gets harder. You've got to
get some M-Dry in your life.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
And right now, if you go to M-Dry for men.com
and you use code PRO for 20% off, you, my friends,
can get that special treatment too. That Big Dom treatment.
That LeVar Stick City Arrington treatment. And feel like 20
years younger again.

Speaker 10 (20:07):
Hammers.

Speaker 6 (20:09):
It is two pros and a cup of Joe here
on Fox Sports Radio. LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas.

It's two pros and a cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio.
LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming up,
a little over 15 minutes from now, we are going
to have a follow-up.

Speaker 6 (21:19):
To one of the wild tales that have been told
in the history of the leftovers on this show. I
actually can't even believe it's real. That'll be yours here
coming up a little over 15 minutes from now. But
right now it is time for the debut edition of
something we do every single NFL season.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
It's called this.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Five lines. Not those kind of lines. Five picks. Five spreads.
Time for Picks Against the Spread.

Speaker 6 (21:52):
And all of these come courtesy of our friends at
DraftKings Sportsbook.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
Patty, what are we looking at? All right, so the
first game we have here is.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Falcons at Steelers.

Speaker 7 (22:02):
Yes, it's going to be the Falcons at Steelers. Steelers,
in fact, our home team with the five-and-a-half-point favorites here.
And I'm going to pick the winner of last year's
edition gets to go first.

Speaker 9 (22:14):
Brady.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
You are first, my friend.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
So again, we're assuming Cooper Rush is getting the start.
Is that kind of where we're at with this? Or
is that still a potential of that happening?

Speaker 4 (22:23):
Day to day. Day to day. We've got a couple
of days to play with.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
How about this?

Speaker 1 (22:27):
I'm going to go with the motivated, ticked off Aaron
Rodgers after the words of Matt LaFleur. But having played
in Pittsburgh, tough place to play, tough place to win.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Hard-nosed fan base there. Hard-nosed team there.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Feels like this is kind of like an all-in with
Rodgers and McCarthy. So I'm going to take the five
and a half points. I'm going to lay them with
the Pittsburgh Steelers. Too much in question for you at
the quarterback spot there in Atlanta.

Speaker 10 (22:59):
Wins, wins.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Next up, LeVar. You have to go next. Who are
you picking? Falcons, Steelers.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
Yeah, I'm going to continue with the hardness theme that
Brady brought to the table, and I'm definitely going to
ride the laying of the points with the Pittsburgh Steelers
as well.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Sticks Picks.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
Finally, Jonas.

Speaker 6 (23:23):
Yeah, I'm not crazy about the five-and-a-half line, but I
look at the Tua situation. He wasn't playing all that
well in the preseason to begin with. Now he's got
an oblique, so we get Cooper Rush. Who the hell
knows who's going to be the starting quarterback at this
point for week one. I think Pittsburgh rolls, and I
think Pittsburgh rolls at home.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
I'll take the Steelers minus five-and-a-half.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Knocks.

Speaker 7 (23:43):
Locks.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
All right, next. That was professional.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
That was.

Speaker 7 (23:47):
Next game on the docket, guys. We have Jonas's Bears
taking on the Carolina Panthers in Carolina. But that said,
the Bears are three-point favorites here.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
And you know what, Jonas? Because it's your team, you
get to go first.

Speaker 7 (24:02):
Who are you picking?

Speaker 4 (24:04):
This is tough, man. Because, I mean, Carolina was a
playoff game.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
It's a trap game.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
Yeah, I mean, and Carolina was a playoff game.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
And it feels like, or a playoff team last year,
and it feels like You know, they nearly they could
have beat the Rams in that playoff game a year ago.
And I look at it and I go, they're trending
in the right direction. So this took a lot of time.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
You're done. You're wasting our time, buddy. Go pick the Bears.
Play the points. Take the Bears.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
I'll take the Bears minus three.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
I had to get a little bit more uncrinkling of
the paper.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
What a friend, man.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Hey, Jonas, could you do me a favor? Could you
pass me that piece of paper?

Speaker 4 (24:49):
Why do you want the paper?

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Just could you pass it over to me, please?

Speaker 7 (24:52):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Dang! Now, I'm going to crumble it up a little bit.
I want you to listen to this as I do this. Oh, wow. Now,
hold on.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
Hold on.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Hold on. Wait, let me crumble back up again. Oh, wow.

Speaker 6 (25:14):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
One more time. One more time. One more time. Oh. Oh,
my God.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Now, this is pick of the Bears minus three. And
I'm going to use it as toilet paper because I'm
taking the Panthers at home, getting the three points.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Week one. Let's go, Panthers. We're going to fade Jones
all year. Let's go, Panthers. That's proved to be very effective.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
That's my game prep.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
What are we doing here? Yes, I did.

Speaker 10 (25:35):
Yes, I did. Twins wins.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
Well, I'm going to dust this one off because it's
the first one of the year.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Money line, baby.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
Money line.

Speaker 10 (25:54):
Are we doing extra points for that again this year?

Speaker 7 (25:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
What are the rules?

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Yes. It's an extra point.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
You get two if you money line it.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Got it.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
But hold on.

Speaker 5 (26:08):
Do we lose two if we miss on the money line,
or do we lose one? That's the one we need
to make sure we're clear on.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Yeah, what was the rule last year? I think it
was you lose one.

Speaker 10 (26:17):
Yeah, because it's still supposed to get you ahead, right?

Speaker 2 (26:22):
I say you should lose two. That's just my opinion.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Now I'm with LeVar.

Speaker 6 (26:27):
Plus two if you get it right on the money line,
minus two if you get it wrong.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
But minus two.

Speaker 9 (26:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (26:33):
Should we up the ante and make it minus three
if you get it wrong?

Speaker 2 (26:37):
No, no, no. Minus two is fine. We'll make it
even each way. Minus two. That's how we did it
last year.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
Alright, fair point. Well, next up we have.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Oh, wait, no, I'm not ready! Oh, my God.

Speaker 7 (26:51):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
That's right, everybody.

Speaker 7 (26:55):
We have the Buccaneers at Cincinnati to take on the Bengals.
Bengals are, in fact, the home dog with three-and-a-half-point favorites here. And, Var,
you get to go first on this one, sir.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Wait, wait, wait. That's a contradiction.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
Home favorite. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
You can't say home favorite dog.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
This is an anime. This is an anime, Patty. We've
got to focus in here on the lines. All right.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
Well, either way, they are three-and-a-half-point favorites.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
That's much better. The Bengals are three-and-a-half. point favorites yes
they will cover that's what i'm going with the bangles
will cover.

Speaker 6 (27:32):
Sticks picks jonas you're next uh the cincinnati bangles have
made a concerted effort uh last year and this year
to get off to a better start based on their
poor performances under zach taylor.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
And joe burrow here we go early on in the season.

Speaker 6 (27:47):
Wait for it wait for it i think it continues
i like the cincinnati bangles minus three and a half
at home against the.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Bucks Finally, Brady.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
I am actually going to lay the points here with
the Bengals. You guys obviously know how I feel about
this team. I motivated Joe Burrow, the offseason additions to
the defense. A little scared here having to lay the
hook as well, but I'll lay the three and a half.
More curious to see what this Tampa Bay Bucs team
is going to be this year.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
But give me the Bengals, minus.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Three and a half.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Wins, wins.

Speaker 6 (28:22):
By the way, a lot of Jed Yorks in the
lines this week.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
A lot of hooks. A lot of hooks on some
of these game lines. I want to point that out.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
I had to force that one in there, huh?

Speaker 4 (28:34):
I'm not forcing anything. For $ 140, I get what I want.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
I hear you, Acho. All right.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
Well, next up, guys, our fourth is the Bills at Texans.
That's on me. My bad. So it is the Bills
at Texans. Bills are.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
What?

Speaker 4 (28:49):
I was looking at my.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (28:55):
So the Bills are on the road taking on the Texans.
The Bills are one and a half point favorites. And Brady,
you get to go first.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
I'm going to take the Texans at home. I think
week one always provides us with some surprises. I've got
questions about what this Bills defense is going to look like.
I don't have any questions about the Texans defense.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
And I think C.J.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
Stroud's put himself in kind of a contract here. So
I'll go ahead and take the home dogs here.

Speaker 10 (29:22):
Oh, wins, wins.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
Oh, my Lord.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
I'm taking the Texans, baby.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
Money line.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Money line.

Speaker 10 (29:38):
He's going all in.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
That's two. I'm either getting four or I'm going to
go down four.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Real quick.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Real quick.

Speaker 9 (29:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Jonas.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
If anybody's followed Josh Allen's career against the Houston Texans,
it's not been great. He's 0-4 in Houston all time,
1-4 overall. One of those losses, obviously a famous playoff
game years ago.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
He's just really struggled against that team. They've had his number.

Speaker 6 (30:08):
And because of that, I think it continues. I, too,
will take the Houston Texans money line.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
And finally, we have Cowboys and Giants. We got there.
We did it.

Speaker 7 (30:25):
And with that, the Cowboys are on the road taking
on the New York Giants. Cowboys are, in fact, three
point favorites on the road. And VAR, take it away here.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
Moneyline!

Speaker 5 (30:41):
I'm taking the New York Super Giants for the upset.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Sticks picks. I don't hate this pick for you, Var.
I don't. You shouldn't. I do. I've got high aspirations
for Dallas. I do.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
I think they're going to win this one. I'll lay
the three points with the road favorite here in the
Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 10 (31:06):
Ooh. Wins, wins.

Speaker 7 (31:13):
Jeez.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
You got a feel of that today.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
The Giants aren't good. I just want to be clear here.

Speaker 6 (31:19):
I'm not sure why Jackson Dart and Cam Scadaboo and
this team is at.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
The top of the.

Speaker 6 (31:28):
Conversation and all that. I don't understand any of it.
I don't think they're good. We don't know if Malik
Neighbors is going to play.

Speaker 7 (31:34):
We don't.

Speaker 6 (31:36):
Dallas has got all the potential to maybe make a
run at a Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
The Giants do not. I like the Cowboys minus three
to open up the year.

Speaker 5 (31:46):
Knocks.

Speaker 9 (31:47):
Locks.

Speaker 4 (31:48):
And those are our picks against the spread, everybody.

Speaker 9 (31:50):
Right.

Speaker 6 (31:51):

Speaker 11 (33:24):
Well, I do want to give a quick update on
my cockroach issue.

Speaker 10 (33:34):
I have not found it. It is still hiding. I
assume it's still in there. Why would it leave? You know,
it's just a cozy place.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Why would it stay? It's gone, Lorraine. Use your car.

Speaker 3 (33:49):
It's gone.

Speaker 11 (33:50):
It was under my foot pedal and then went up
into the mechanics of my car.

Speaker 10 (33:54):
There is no for sure way of knowing.

Speaker 11 (33:57):
I'm actually having nightmares that he pops out of my
air conditioning vents.

Speaker 10 (34:01):
You know what I'm saying? Like he's up in there.
One day his babies can come and attack me.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Hey, by the way.

Speaker 5 (34:06):
I mean, you didn't give this much attention to that
ghost following you into the bedroom. Oh, yes.

Speaker 7 (34:14):
Oh, no.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
Because that was worth it.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
This roach is such a big deal.

Speaker 10 (34:16):
I look for that every time that I walk into
that room. I'm not even kidding. No, I'm so on
edge about it.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
Here's the part that I want people to understand.

Speaker 6 (34:24):
So I had no idea that you actually left your
car on the side of a road and not in
a great neighborhood either. Uh-uh.

Speaker 10 (34:33):
I couldn't drive it.

Speaker 6 (34:34):
She literally left her car on the side of the
road because there's a cockroach in it.

Speaker 11 (34:39):
And then I also tried to do other fun things
to try and get it out. So not only did
I leave my car in the sun all day, I
also played.

Speaker 10 (34:45):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
What artist am I thinking?

Speaker 11 (34:49):
Anyways, there's an artist that I put on and I
just blasted the music super loud. I'm like, there's no
way they're going to want to stay in here and listen.

Speaker 10 (34:55):
Oh, it's Katy Perry. I put that on. I blasted
it really loud. I was like, they're going to want
to leave, you know, the cockroach.

Speaker 7 (35:00):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (35:02):
I tried to make it uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
So your car is still there?

Speaker 3 (35:04):
No, I have it.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
So your car is still on the side of the road?

Speaker 11 (35:06):
And right now it has, when I'm not driving it,
I have two bait cockroach traps inside, just in case.
I hope it's not in there, but I also want
to be cautious. And I also have my pants that
tie around my ankles, and I have full-close toed shoes,
just in case. Because if it crawls across my foot,
that's how I'm going to die. Anyways, that's my cockroach.

Speaker 6 (35:25):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
It's a cockroach. Oh, wow. You trust... the hobos around
here more than a cockroach.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
Yes.

Speaker 10 (35:35):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
She's dating one.

Speaker 10 (35:41):
Oh, snap.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
That's funny.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
Um, sorry.

Speaker 10 (35:51):
No, you're fine. You're totally good. Uh, uh, Should we
move on?

Speaker 4 (35:56):
Yes, please.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
I would love that.

Speaker 10 (36:00):
I would love that.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Crazy quickly.

Speaker 10 (36:02):
So you know the U.S.

Speaker 11 (36:03):
Open happened this past week. I actually saw some viral videos.
I wasn't sure if they were true, but they are.
There was a sexual wellness brand at the U.S. Open
called Hello Nancy, and they were handing out pink vibrators
in the shape of tennis balls to women around the state.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
Good for them.

Speaker 11 (36:22):
And no one and a lot of people didn't even
know that they were vibrators. And then all of a
sudden they found a little button on the side. Anyways,
so it was actually a sub part of their they're
trying to launch, you know, center court collection. It includes
a fuzzy tennis ball inspired air suction device.

Speaker 7 (36:39):
Whoa. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (36:40):
It's called the Ace and Wand Vibrator. The smash.

Speaker 7 (36:43):
Whoa.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
The smash.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Ace and Wand.

Speaker 10 (36:46):
Space and Ace and Wand. Sorry, Ace and Wand called Smash.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
You're going to get you one, Jonas.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
Why don't you.

Speaker 6 (36:53):
I was going to say.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
Don't make me rummage around LeVar's top drawer.

Speaker 6 (37:00):
I was going to say.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
What a clown.

Speaker 4 (37:07):
What a clown, bro.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
That's offensive.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Oh, gosh.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
Hold on. I was going to say, instead of handing
those out, like, why don't... Just... Like, find a guy.
I mean, is that not possible?

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Whoa, whoa.

Speaker 10 (37:21):
Just because you have a man doesn't mean a vibrator
can't be fun.

Speaker 6 (37:23):
All right.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Whoa.

Speaker 10 (37:25):
And honestly, it's great for group activity. Okay?

Speaker 2 (37:28):
Whoa.

Speaker 10 (37:29):
It adds a lot of love and spice to the bedroom.
You can have more of these.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
Group activity.

Speaker 4 (37:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
Explain that. Explain that.

Speaker 10 (37:36):
Toys can be for everybody.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
All right.

Speaker 10 (37:38):
Not just self, you know. That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
So you're saying you would share it? No.

Speaker 10 (37:43):
With my partner, sure.

Speaker 6 (37:44):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
I just... I'm not sure where this has gone.

Speaker 10 (37:49):
I'm just saying toys are for everyone. You don't need
a man if you don't want to use a toy.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
Can I ask you a question?

Speaker 2 (37:54):
There used to be a place called Toys R Us.

Speaker 6 (38:00):
Why would they think that it's appropriate to have these
in a tennis match?

Speaker 10 (38:04):
Why do people throw dildos on women's basketball courts?

Speaker 11 (38:07):
I mean, honestly, I would love some free merch like that.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Or at football games. Yeah. And again, how did they
get it in there? How did they get it through
the security game?

Speaker 10 (38:20):
In my pant leg. What do you mean? Where else
would I put it?

Speaker 4 (38:24):
Oh, OK.

Speaker 11 (38:25):
I got another leftover here if you guys want.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
All right.

Speaker 10 (38:28):
I'm curious.

Speaker 11 (38:30):
Have you ever done food competition things and tried to
eat a burrito as fast as you possibly could?

Speaker 2 (38:35):
I saw this video.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
No. That's one of those ones you take your time with.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Yeah. She's a good-looking shorty, too.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
She's cute.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
She tore that burrito up.

Speaker 11 (38:44):
Her name is Leah Shutkever, and she is from the U.K.,
and she set a Guinness World Record for eating a
fatty burrito in only 30 seconds.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
She tore it up.

Speaker 6 (38:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
She took that thing down.

Speaker 10 (38:55):
Monster bite.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
After monster bite.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
And I watched every bite. I watched every bite of it. Yes,
I did. Almost sent it out to the fellas.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
And how fast did she do it?

Speaker 10 (39:10):
30 seconds.

Speaker 4 (39:11):
A whole burrito in 30 seconds.

Speaker 10 (39:13):
A whole burrito.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
A big one, though. It was a big, big boy.

Speaker 10 (39:16):
I was shocked by her method.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
She took that bad boy down.

Speaker 11 (39:18):
Her method of eating was just literally like one giant bite,
and then she'd immediately swallow it.

Speaker 10 (39:23):
I didn't see any chewing.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
Is she a competitive eater? No gag reflex.

Speaker 10 (39:27):
No gag reflex, 100%.

Speaker 7 (39:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (39:32):
There's no way.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
She's just taking that burrito down.

Speaker 10 (39:34):
Just taking it down.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
It was for the record, Jonas. It was not for fun.

Speaker 4 (39:39):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
Go ahead. I'm sorry. Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (39:42):
Yeah, I'm looking at the video now. I mean, it's disgusting.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
I don't know. I want to hear the story. I
love the competition eaters. I want to hear the story
of the girl in college. Go ahead.

Speaker 10 (39:53):
Oh, I had a friend, and he was like, my
girl has no gag reflex. I'd love to show you sometime.
And I'm like, what do you mean you want to
show me sometime?

Speaker 9 (40:02):
Whoa.

Speaker 4 (40:02):
It got just as.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
Weird as it sounds, too.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
This is why our show is labeled adult.

Speaker 10 (40:07):
E for everybody. It's E for everybody.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Lorraine, I hit us with the E. Lorena.
