Speaker 5 (03:02):
Here for you.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
So earlier in the show, we were talking about Joannison
Tetakompo making his introduction to the Miami Heat culture and
pat Riley talking about, you know, we got to win
a championship and you know that that's the goal here
and jan is talking about the expectations and whatnot, and
so it got us down this conversation of yeah, but
there's some other things in Miami you gotta be careful of.
(03:25):
All right, there's some things out there that could get
you on uh current.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
What do you call the Warriors, the warriors that are
out there?
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Warriors?
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Well, you know there was a wrestling group that that
was named after them. Oh yeah, yeah, the Warriors.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Oh that's a good point.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
The Warriors be on the road.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
That's a good point.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
They'd be all out in the roads in Miami, So
get caught out there.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
He got me to remember one of the warnings that
were handed out on the NBA on Team Anti Crew
years ago, in which Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley and
Ernie Johnson and Shaq were talking about, you know the
problem that some players face when going to a place
like Miami or New Orleans.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
Let's take a listen for.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
The Cleveland Cavaliers.
Speaker 6 (04:17):
They've lost six straight games in New Orleans. Clearly you
have not There's gotta be more to it than your theory.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Street, Thank you, Shack. Go ahead of these.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
It's going in and out, so you're gonna hear, you're
you're gonna hear. All right, So here we go. Let's
let's get, let's get to let's get, let's get.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
You did all that setting up and that's what you
hit us with that?
Speaker 4 (04:49):
All right, listen, you know we're walking all right.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
So here was the the warning that came with Miami,
New Orleans, places like that from the NBA on TNT
crew years ago.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
There's no theory.
Speaker 7 (05:03):
The South each crime one twelve one twelve twelve Live
were talking Mermy Streets.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Talking, Oh I didn't even go there, So what you're
what that?
Speaker 6 (05:18):
Any visiting team wins a game in New Orleans. But
the good teams have more distraction. The good teams have
more distracted part the bad teams. Listen, uh them skeezers
ain't gonna be out for the band when the good
teams come to town. Every skis in town, hanging out of
the hotel.
Speaker 7 (05:36):
You know, not only every he's earned, every every.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Some type of event that night.
Speaker 7 (05:48):
Everybody there's something always to do the night before and
the night you might have, you know, chicken heads.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
Maybe there is there is something to worry about if
you're honest when you get out there again.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
That's very real, man, Like, that's a job. It's a job.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
I mean, that's what it is. They're hunters. There are
people out here hunting, pro athletes and entertainers. They're there,
they are hunted. Like it's funny because it's like we
joke about it. But you could say, like some people
like hunting. You know, we saw the the bison, you know,
(06:38):
knocked the dude up and create you know, you know,
create that meme. Right, Some people like hunting bison. Some
people like hunting bears or lions and tigers. Skeezers like
hunting athletes and entertainers. Jack's like, you never heard of one, Ernie,
(07:01):
You ever heard of a skeezer?
Speaker 5 (07:02):
You know what a skeezer is?
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Oh my god, I wonder.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
I mean, it's it's from it's it's like that that
that was a term that was used in the eighties.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
And hip hop like rappers will use it.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
It was a street but I just want it because
I know it's like I know it has to come
from like originating from scheming, like schemer like scheming. So
I'm always like just thinking about it. Now, I wonder
where the zerr came from. You know, I get the
ski part, like the ski the ski is scheming, like
you're scheming on dudes. But I don't know. Maybe it's
(07:39):
a her. She's scheming. Her is scheming. So maybe thus
where you took the H and you made it as
Z versus making it an H because skier is scared,
Like that doesn't sound as good ski zer. It sounds
pretty good.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
It feels like this should be like if you go
to Miami, if you're an NBA player or a Major
League Baseball player, that could I could see that being
an issue. But in the NFL you're just in and
out right like in the.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
City, you got time, you got time. Though you've got time,
how much time do you have enough? Okay enough? Especially
with the hours there, so like what is that fact.
Twenty four hours a day, in fact, more than enough
time to get skized on and do some skizing. And
(08:32):
here's what's interesting, right, here's what's interesting. It's funny because
skiezers and skizing and all this stuff that you're talking about,
it exists in everywhere everywhere, whether it's a college town,
whether it's a pro town, pro team, college team, it's
the same everywhere.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
It's just the level.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
The level a skeezer is different in markets like my amy.
I'll say New Orleans. I mean, I'm not, I'm not
like New Orleans. It's like, okay, I don't I don't
really recall that all like that. I mean, and they're
like transient. I would, I would assume, but like La
(09:17):
like Atlanta, Houston, Atlanta's underrated, man, bruh.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
I tell you, I don't know who it.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Is over underrated to. But I'm just telling you Atlanta man.
Look here, Houston, hey man. All I'm gonna say is
is that it's the level that matters.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Because you could go to a certain town.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
And it'd be like like, yeah, I get some food
with the family, go watch some film, look at my
plays and my playbook, get in the room, get get
you know, checked in, go to big get ready for
the game tomorrow, right because you see their skeezers, and
their skeezers come in the hotel and in and around
(10:05):
and at the restaurants that the guys are at and
you see them and it's just like okay.
Speaker 5 (10:09):
Like it's a nice town, Like that's cool. Man.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
You go to Miami, like they said Prime, You go
to Prime and you walk into Prime. You don't even
get into Prime good because the hostess is is fire
a rocket fire. You don't even get into the front
door before you see somebody walking up with their girlfriends.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
Fire fire.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
You know what's crazy is they're so fly, they're so
fine that you become the skeezer to Skiz, the skeezer
you got skis you got hey for what is worth?
Speaker 5 (10:51):
At some point in time, the truth will come out.
You know.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
They talk about how, oh you got baby drama, Mama,
da da dad, this that that. No, let me tell
you something. And I'm just keeping it real with y'all,
like it's Friday. It's a football Friday. But I'm gonna
give y'all some real game right now. Y'all thinking that
these dudes is dumb. And oh these girls coming out saying, Oh,
these these athletes, they're.
Speaker 5 (11:14):
So dumb, da da dad, dumb dumb, dumb dumb.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
They just sleep with these girls. They make babies with
these girls. I didn't get y'all when I was in
high school. Y'all didn't like me when I was younger.
So the fact that I got a baby out of you,
now it's a fair trade off because if I didn't
make it. If I didn't make it, you wouldn't want me.
(11:36):
You know who you want the nut dude, the skis
on that made it to the league. If I didn't
make it to the league, you wouldn't want me. And
now I got a baby with you, all right. I'm
just giving y'all some game, all right, I mean, so
let me all right.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
So from an NFL standpoint, because you know NBA team,
you know, comes into town, they're there for how wee
they're there like Major By the way, the on the
ones that I think are paid probably the most susceptible
are Major League Baseball teams because they're in for a series.
So they're in for a two or three game or
maybe a four game series. That's a problem So if
(12:10):
you're the NFL, say you're playing the Dolphins on a
Sunday one Eastern time kick, what time are you getting
to Miami and what are your obligations?
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Like if you're you always get in the day before,
unless it's like a far away game like on West Coast,
or if you're West coast you go to East Coast,
or or if you're overseas obviously you're there for a
little bit of time. But you get in. You probably
get in around like you do a little walk through whatever.
WHOOPI woo. You go to the airport, you fly in,
so you're usually there. Ooh, I'm rusty, but I'm gonna
(12:44):
say it's not late. It's it's somewhat early, like like
maybe like noontime or one ish or something like that.
Speaker 5 (12:51):
Or Saturday, Saturday. You get in on Saturday.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
They're not there for you're not even there for you're
not you're not there for twenty five four hours. But
you get in on Friday, or you get in on Saturday,
you do your walk through, you get in on Saturday
when you.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
Get in.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Either some teams it's just it's by a team, like
you know, kind of regulations. Some teams. You can go
right out, like you don't have meetings until like I
want to say, you might have a meeting immediately upon
getting there, and then you have maybe another meeting after that.
(13:34):
So you probably have like one to two meetings and
then you have like team meal like team snack or whatever.
That's like that's later on. That's like I like maybe
like around nine or something like that. But you have
like you have like a real three hours three four
(13:54):
hours of free time, like three hours, so you got
to be efficient most most like how they they say,
like most people have stuff already set up. But here's
the thing you have. There's levels to it. Right, you
have you have like cats that are planners. It's like
it's just like anything else in life. Right, you got
(14:15):
the guys that are planners, they've already been planned out.
So whatever they're going to do, it's already mapped out,
where they're going, who they're going with, how they do it,
what happens boom boom boom mapped out. That's one level
and that that you would say, that's the responsible skis right,
But then you have.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
The straight up just.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
Outrageous unconscious they're like some of us are worse than
the women that we be talking about savages man savages,
bro savages, savages. And when they come out, it's like, oh,
they're so dumb, like I was saying, Oh, no, they're menaces,
(14:58):
They're they're they're mongrels, like like if you can hear
what they're saying and the things that they're doing. And
this is the night before games, it's like they don't
have it. Their only mission is to get out on
the town and destroy, and I mean destroy.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
I've seen dudes.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
I've seen dudes get out when we're gone out of town,
certain places get out and you don't see like they
like did you did you just get back to the
hotel just now? And it's pregame meal, it's pregamel, Like
you see the guy sneaking back into like guys sneaking
(15:41):
back into the hotel to come to pregame meal. Like bruh,
you're walking in like nothing happened, like oh, you had
to go check something outside or you want some fresh
air or something like that. No, you're coming out from
the night before. He's still wearing cologne. Hey, bro on, god,
and this is we're getting ready to go play a game.
(16:03):
So you got you got savage, savage behavior on so
many different levels. It's it's really to be honest, if
we're being honest, if you want to really really frame
it up the right way, when you're talking about places
like Miami and stuff like and ken Yan Yannis is
going to be fine because Jannie is just like, he's
(16:24):
just a he just seems like he's a very very
simple dude. Loves his wife, loves his kids, loves his family,
and loves the game of basketball, and and that's what
he's into. He'll be fine. You gotta understand the type
of people that Shack and them are talking about, and
and and Chuck and and Kenny.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
It's because that's who they were. That's who they were.
And I ain't gonna say that's how they are now.
But let's just be clear. You gotta believe Shack was
a mongrel.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Oh yeah, You've got no, Shaq was a savage.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
You gotta believe that Kinny Smith, that Charles Mark, Chuck
they with savages and that's how they know.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
That's all I'm gonna say.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
If you like, if you throw, you know, a table
full of pastries in front of somebody and they're not
on a diet.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
I mean, you're gonna eat. I mean, that's just the
way this works.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
You crackhouse, they're going in.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
You put an alcoholic next to a liquor store, they're
going in.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
And here's the thing too.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
You're at least waiting for somebody to come out.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
So we know this from being at super Bowls and
covering super Bowls in different places. So super Bowl is
gonna be in LA this year, which is no good
for us as well well, but it's no good for us.
But there will be uh a high skis warning uh
in LA for super Bowl, like there is. If you
(17:51):
walk around the lobby or if you're in and around
you do you see some you see some people making
the rounds that you know are not from there. They
are not from and if they are from there, they
didn't look like that two hours earlier. They know exactly
who's going to be in the vicinity and they know
exactly what's going down.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Of course, it's just you know.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Do you show up to a job interview like maybe
it's a little different these days, but I mean, honestly,
do you show up to a job interview looking any
old kind of way or are you showing up to
dressed to impress. Hey, I'm with you, man, right, I'm
with you. I want again that's what the players do too.
The players ain't looking like any old thing either. You
want to know why fashion is so fashionable and you
(18:31):
want to look nice because you want to impress people.
You want to be impressive to the people that are
seeing you. Well, who are those people that you're seeing?
Skeezers and skeezers are people too?
Speaker 4 (18:43):
Hell yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
By the way, be sure to check out our YouTube

Speaker 3 (19:04):
I used to holler at shorties Jonas and let me
tell you something. They ain't want to have nothing to
do with me, and then them same type of shorties
and the adult adult life when I was playing for
that Washington football team was like, man, you've grown up,
you sure, you sure have grown into a fine young man.
(19:25):
So I look better when I was younger. You just
didn't see me, but now you do. Let's go get
a drink.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Who do I make this check out to.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
What? By the way, get you a drink? Geez up, next,
up next, told on yourself.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Up next, we are going to tell you about somebody
in the NFL who might.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
Have another issue on their hands.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
All right, they might have another problem as opposed to
the one you've been hearing about. That's yours right here
on FSR.
Speaker 2 (19:57):

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington Jonas Knox with you here
a little Black and Drag Football Friday Edition here on
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
By the way, coming up.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
In a little over fifteen minutes from now, we are
going to close up shop with a nether edition of
the Leftovers that'll be yours here on FSR. And a
reminder trained to push back the pay Not athletes, just
people trafficked every day right here in the United States,
sometimes by someone they trusted. During the World Cup, help
us break the silence. Visit blue campaign dot gov slash
World Cup to learn more. Paid for by the Department
of Homeland Security. Hey, I will say this. We were mentioning,
(21:14):
you know, Lebron at Fanatics Fest, and you know he's
talking about you know, he doesn't he hasn't not ready
to make a decision yet, just talking about it's going
to be fun, blah blah blah, all the you know,
the usual stuff, because he's not ready yet. But apparently
a decision is looming, right, It's going to be sooner
rather than later. And somebody that would like that to
be the case is none other than Adam Silver, the
(21:37):
commissioner of the NBA. Adam Silver, who said, and he
was quoted as saying at a news conference that he
would like James to make his free agency decision soon
so that they can finalize next season schedule. So if
you wanted to know, for whatever you want to say
about Lebron, and you know, we were actually kind of
(22:00):
you know, kind I think and pointing out just sort
of what he's done for so many careers, not just
on the court but also in the media. But the
fact that Adam Silver, at this stage of his career
is waiting to release the schedule based around where he
plays next well, yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
That's what Adam Silver said.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
That's that's what he said, Like I'm waiting until he
announced his decision to release the schedule.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
Geez, that's that's some rare fright, rarefied air there, Like
that's I.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Mean, man, so and I don't know what that means
after he's gone, because I don't see anybody after Lebron
that you look at and go all right, We've got
to wait to see what's happening with them in order
for us to determine who's going to play who at
what time where. And I'm sure they've got, you know,
the bulk of the schedule figured out, but there probably
(22:54):
are primetime games and things that they need to to
put into certain spots. And the fact that you're waiting
on this guy at this stage of his career in
order to do so gotta tip your cap a little bit,
gotta you gotta say, listen, man, guy's got some pull,
he's got some he's got some gravitas, and he is
(23:14):
still at this point twenty years in, twenty plus years
in still kind of runs the league and we're waiting
on him to make the call.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
And we're waiting on him to make the call. So
all right, yeah, well good for him. Man. Again, I
gushed over him earlier. I'm not going to do it again,
but I will say this. There are very very few
people that you say gravitas, I say gravity. They are
(23:43):
people of gravity, and Lebron James is one of them.
And that just you know, it is what it is.
It is what it is, and good and you know what,
and good for Adam Silver. Why not take advantage of it.
You're not going to be able to take advantage of
it too much longer, So why not?
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Yeah, well I kind of a problem. Yeah, well that's
what a Sorry did I say something wrong there?
Speaker 5 (24:05):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (24:06):
But uh yeah, just you know, Adam Silver, it might
be kind of a problem. You know, you can't milk
this cow for that long. Maybe you might want to
figure out who your next star is going to be.
You're going to build the league around. I think it's
going to be Wemby. Just run with Webby.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
He's a freak show, just like that guy is appointment television,
Like you want to watch him because you can't figure
out how a building.
Speaker 5 (24:26):
Can move like that.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
Nobody can figure it out.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
So just whatever you want to do, like have that
guy in as many primetime spots. And furthermore, heat Bucks
needs to be one of the first games. We need
to see Tyler, Hero and Bam face off against each other.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
All right.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
If pat Riley's making making jokes about Bam punching him,
that's going to be one of the marquee games next year.
So nobody enough with the Knicks and their NBA title
and raising the banner, I get all that.
Speaker 5 (24:54):
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
Let's let's focus on some real storylines here, and those
guys throwing down at an aau practice va. I guess
if it actually happened, seems like something you would lead into.
Now somebody else who we don't have a decision on
yet because we don't know what the hell's going on
with this guy, Brandon Ayuk. All right, the wild tale
that is Brandon Ayuk. Now last checked, I don't believe
(25:18):
that he has released any social media videos, and if
he did, nobody knows what the.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
Hell he's saying anyways or what he's alluding to.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
But I did want to, you know, point this out
because it was Ryan Wilson of CBS who kind of
talked about this a little bit, and it is a
good point and one of the issues that's not being
brought up with Brandon Ayuk because he's talking about I
want to go to Washington when I get to Washington,
and that was before he had the dust up with
(25:45):
Jayden Daniels. But he wants to go elsewhere, and he
just plans on picking up and playing with somebody.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
Else, but it won't be the forty nine Ers.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
He hasn't played in almost two years, Like it's been
like twenty months when the season starts, twenty months since
he's actually suited up. And you remember we were having
the conversation about Deshaun Watson. By the time Watson actually
played for the Browns, it had been how long with
the suspension and you know, sitting out the season and
(26:16):
not wanting to be a part of what was going
on in Houston. So that's another aspect of this that
doesn't get brought up a lot, where, yeah, it's not
just the personality and whatever the hell's going on in
San Francisco with the Niners, it's also the fact he
hasn't played, so I don't know, and he's coming off
the injury. So the idea that he's just gonna suit
(26:36):
up and be ready to go and he's gonna be
the same brand in Ayuki was before the injury. It's
been way too long and there's way too much damage
that has done both to his reputation and his body
to think that that's the same player you're going to
be getting, which to me would limit his options even more,
which makes the way he's handling this that much more bizarre.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
It's a little bizarre, man, and it's unfortunate. You know,
it's unfortunate that he hasn't handled the situation better than
what he has because.
Speaker 5 (27:08):
You know, for what it is, word Brandon Aiyuk is.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
Is he's a super talented football player and and not
you know, I think he could still actually be an
elite caliber, elite level football player receiver.
Speaker 5 (27:28):
In the league.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
But you know, for one reason or another, something is
bothering him to the point of where it is creating
this uh, this struggle, this conflict that that he's dealing
with Jonas and it's it's you know, it's just again,
(27:49):
I think it's just an unfortunate situation that he would
allow whatever it is that he's feeling that's making him
feel the way that he feels to handle things the
way that he is. I think so for you know,
people like me that never played in the league. You know,
the awful high school football player just atrocious. But the
(28:12):
team sucked too, So it wasn't all me, But for
people that never played in the league, or people that
don't have the ability to make the career or the
earnings or whatever. The dollar amount attached to what Brandon
ayuk has had and what he's cost himself through all this,
it's hard for us to understand and to come to
some sort of come to terms with the idea that
(28:34):
you would, for lack of a better term.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Piss away all of that on stuff like this. But
for somebody like you who's played in the league, who's
been a star in the league, and for you know,
all intents and purposes, an injury took your career from you,
how does this land with you?
Speaker 5 (28:54):
Man?
Speaker 1 (28:55):
Because I don't like to me, this would bother me
if I saw some of the way that the guys
we talked about George Pickens yesterday, Like it's almost like
you want to reach out and be like, hey, dude,
do you realize this? Like this time frame now is
where you set yourself up forever, you and everybody around you.
(29:17):
And some of these guys just operate in a way
to where they can't see past next week, let alone two, three, four, five,
ten years from now and understand the damage they're doing.
Speaker 4 (29:28):
It's kind of wild.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Man.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
Sometimes they don't ever see the damage that they're doing,
which is even more interesting. It's the idea some people
just don't value money or value.
Speaker 5 (29:40):
Success the same way that others do.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
And when you get caught up into a situation where
you have such a golden opportunity to have such a
high earning capacity and you take it in and do what.
Speaker 5 (29:57):
Brandon is doing.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
It just makes you wonder what is going on that
would lead to him behaving? I hate, I hate saying it,
but again, you're a grown ass man. Why are you
handling yourself in a way where you're devaluing yourself? What
(30:21):
what is the ultimate goal of you devaluing yourself that way?
It just doesn't it does not add up to me, Jonas,
And there's no way to kind of justify it if
you ask me.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
And that's that's the.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
Hardest part about it is because it's like you look
at the situation, you see how the situation is kind
of playing itself out, and there's no real scenario here
that really makes it makes sense as to how he's
handling it. I just don't think there's any any scenario
(30:57):
that makes it make sense.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
I don't think I'll think anybody who makes sense of it.
And on top of that, to what you know Ryan
Wilson was talking about, he hasn't played man, so like
whatever version of him you're getting, he's got so many
hurdles to get over, and he just keep and he's
stacking another one in front of him every chance he gets.
Like he's not crossing anymore, he's making it more difficult
(31:18):
for him.
Speaker 4 (31:18):
To make a return.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
So who knows, maybe all in one shot in a
twenty four hour period, we could get a Brandon Ayuk
resolution Lebron and Aaron Donald, Like, if we could get
that all figured out, I mean that would just everybody
could just move forward, unless people want to recap the
wrongdoings of whatever team they bet on lost in the
World Cup. So have fun with that, everybody. It is

Over by the railroad we got.
Speaker 9 (33:11):
Don't make me question my content. Jonas Radio is a
great sports movie.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
I guess yes, yes, Oh.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
My god, guess from all that corn Bridge, I guess,
I guess.
Speaker 10 (33:25):
I guess. Anyways, let's get to these leftovers.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
I saw.
Speaker 9 (33:28):
Some new guidelines have been introduced in European athletics in
collaboration with the European Broadcasting Union.
Speaker 10 (33:35):
They have named it Raising the Bar. Now.
Speaker 9 (33:37):
These guidelines are meant to prevent the on screen sexualization
of female athletes.
Speaker 10 (33:43):
The rules advised camera crews to.
Speaker 9 (33:44):
Avoid low angle shots, lingering body close ups, and irrelevant
slow motion shots.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
And this is this is where exactly in Europe.
Speaker 9 (33:56):
Okay, all the European Broadcasting Union, yes, all of your yes,
I do.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Believe so so so Coop just canceled that vacation.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
She'll not be taking a part of that. I mean
I had Maybe sometimes the camera guy is not a
not all horned up. Maybe he just is showing an
athlete that you know, moves in a certain way, that
you know looks a little bit.
Speaker 9 (34:22):
Yeah, sometimes you got to show those gluteous maximus muscles.
Speaker 5 (34:25):
You know what I'm saying, maximus muscles? What are you?
Speaker 4 (34:28):
What are you supposed to do? Like he's just a camera?
Speaker 5 (34:30):
Is this is this?
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (34:32):
Is this gladiator.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
I am gluteous maximus decimus meridis.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
I don't get it.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
So I try to do his job and somebody's you know,
shaking it.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
Maybe they shouldn't sexualize the uniforms that they're wearing.
Speaker 5 (34:50):
Maybe that's a potential there, you know. I mean, I
never understood.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
If don't tell me, oh, well, it helps us to
be a to perform better. Right if you're using that
as as a reason for what you're wearing when you're
running or when you're swimming, I don't understand the phenomenon
of the thong in beach volleyball and water polo, and
(35:20):
how the shorts are in track. I'm sorry. You can
sit there and call me if you want to say
I'm chauvinistic, I'm not. You can say I'm a misogynist.
Speaker 5 (35:30):
I'm not.
Speaker 3 (35:31):
I'm a girl dad and I am very pro women.
But if the guys aren't wearing it, if the guys
aren't wearing it and the girls are, then aren't we
looking at it from a standpoint of well, why aren't
the guys wearing throngs when they're playing water polo and
they're running in track?
Speaker 5 (35:51):
Why are they not?
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Why shouldn't women and men wear the same exact uniforms.
And if they and and here's the thing, if you're
going to those uniforms that that they're wearing where their
their butt cheeks are exposed in those moments, I don't
have a problem with it. If you don't have a
problem with it, but don't complain about it. Like when
(36:15):
somebody is capturing the moment, even if that includes.
Speaker 5 (36:20):
A body part like your butt cheek, Like.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
The camera guys doing his job, he's supposed to get
a live action shot, and somebody's back porch is flapping
in the wind, Like, what does he do? No, let
me pan up to the sky and and and get
get a crowd shot of some slob eating a hot dog.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
No, like I could see if the only shot I
could see, If the only shot was like like a
real like like focused in, you know, zoomed in shot
of the ass, right, then.
Speaker 9 (36:48):
That is apparently what has been happening. There are two
elite players, Holly Bradshaw and Evana Spenovich, who expressed his
comfort with past intrusive angles and the inappropriate misuse of
that footage thereafter.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
If they're wearing revealing, revealing sports attire, it's it's I don't.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
I don't buy it. I don't buy it.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Now, if they're wearing if they're wearing leggings, if they're
wearing long shorts, the same as the guys, then I
get it, like get get the camera up off of there.
But if you're wearing it knowing that that's what it's
going to draw attention to, I don't. I don't understand
how you can complain about it and say, how do
you know they're sexualizing it? That's that's I would like
(37:31):
to understand. How do you know that they're sexualizing it?
Because to me, one of the parts I look at
on a horse when I see the horse.
Speaker 5 (37:41):
Races are the back of them.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
Like I sit there, I'm like, oh, you're how strong
or how fast is this horse?
Speaker 5 (37:48):
The engine?
Speaker 3 (37:50):
The engine is their butt. So if you look at
a person and you're wondering why they're so fast or
why they're so athletic, what they're able to do, a
lot of the story is told by their Gluteus Maximus
Decimus Meridius, leader of the Felix legions, and and and
(38:10):
father to a murdered son, and and husband to a
slain white and I will get my revenge in this life.
Speaker 5 (38:19):
Or the next.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
There's some different Hey, by the way, free the boy,
by the way, free of the booties. Hey Evana, it
doesn't have to be a throng that outfit, Okay, Like
I'm looking at some pictures like there really doesn't need
you know, like you got options, Okay.
Speaker 10 (38:37):
Googling it now could then her name is Evana.
Speaker 3 (38:41):
That's it Spanovich like, okay, So if it was like
an ice skater, right, I get it because people look
at ice skaters and they're like, oh my gosh, well
they're fully they're fully covered full Now if you're focused
(39:01):
in on which still at the end of the day,
I still think that the reasoning is.
Speaker 5 (39:05):
The same felt guys like I do.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
I think you look and you're saying, if they got
a big butt, they got big legs, they're going to win,
they're going to win. If they got little butt, little legs.
Speaker 5 (39:17):
They're not going to win. So I'm sorry, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
That you're necessarily sexualizing the shots. You're just looking at
the engine that makes the vehicle go.
Speaker 5 (39:26):
That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
And by the way, you know, there's a big difference
between look if like this, this woman is hiking her
her drawers all the way up, like what's name again,
Ivana Spenovich, Like you can see shots of her like
it's you know, she got her ass hang it out
like it's a big difference between that intentionally doing it
and say a guy like Chris Jones who drops, you know,
(39:50):
a duffel bag full of sumo wrestlers on the turf
at the combine because his trousers slipped.
Speaker 4 (39:56):
Up, like you know, sometimes accidents happen.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
So that guy's cash prize is sexualizing nothing.
Speaker 5 (40:03):
But I mean that guy's cash.
Speaker 10 (40:05):
Someone's making a smut video to that Joe.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
But but that guy's cash and prizes are laying out
everywhere for the world to see it.
Speaker 5 (40:12):
You know, I got I'm looking at it right now.
Speaker 3 (40:15):
I got news for you. It's that's a that's a norm.
That's the norm. Yeah, I don't see I got news
for you Like that is nothing like out.
Speaker 10 (40:23):
Of the ordinary blowing down boys, Yeah, you.
Speaker 5 (40:26):
Got nothing out of the ordinary. Have a good weekend.
