us break the silence. Visit blue campaign dot gov slash
world Cup to learn more. Paid for by the Department
of Homeland Security. Speaking of the World Cup, here are
the scores from yesterday. Argentina be Egypt three to two,
Switzerland be Columbia four to three on penalties. All right,
so big twelve media days going on. Joey McGuire, the
(02:12):
head coach of Texas Tech, obviously in the news a
lot over the past couple of months. Is Texas Tech
with the Brendan Soresby fiasco that went on. But Joey
McGuire spoke yesterday about the support that he has received
both internally and from other coaches in the conference.
Speaker 6 (02:28):
But think for me to all of this, my President
and ID who were good friends of mine, who believed
in me, who hired me. They went to a lot
like if you look as a whole, there were not
a lot of coaches that said, really a whole lot.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
You know.
Speaker 6 (02:51):
There was some funny jabs taken by some coaches, but
there wasn't a lot of coaches that just really came
out and said a lot of different things. And so
for my peers, I got a lot of support.
Speaker 7 (03:03):
You know.
Speaker 6 (03:04):
Eric Morris the first day any news broke called me
and said, hey, man.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
I'm just doing a well check. He's a good friend
of mine. Klannie, it's a great friend of mine.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Said the same thing.
Speaker 6 (03:14):
Kenny Dillingham made a joke and a growed to excellent
and called me and said, you know, I was a
kidding and I said, Kenny, dude, I get it.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Man.
Speaker 6 (03:21):
So for me, my peers, I had so much support
for my peers, and it was tough to you know,
see Kirby and President Scubnek have to go through that,
and so you know, I hate that for them.
Speaker 5 (03:36):
It clearly was not on social media and was not
hearing the criticism that was going around based on the moves.
And I know that he pointed out that there was
a couple of coaches that supported him there, but it
seemed like there were a lot that were not thrilled
with the handling of this whole thing, like just.
Speaker 8 (03:54):
Well, I think there's there's different levels and how this
was absorbed a people look at him. If you look
at the institutional level, I think there's probably a lot
of President's athletic directors who were taken back by the
fact that Texas Tech would bring in a young man
or bring in a student athlete, knowing what the prior allegations.
(04:16):
I shouldnt even say allegations the prior missteps were, and
try to kind of fast track at all. I think
that's really I mean, look, if you were a fan
of Brendan Sorosby and you want him to be able
to play at Texas Tech, you might able to say
to yourself, that's okay, that's great, But can we get
him through a year of rehab where he can, like you,
get to a point where he's in a better place,
(04:38):
and then we can bring him back onto our team
and allow him to play the game of football. I mean,
is he going to be able to go through a
thirty days stint and be fixed? It feels like that
more often than not doesn't work. Maybe someone can show
me some data otherwise, but I don't care what addiction
you're going through. I'm not sure that small of a
(04:58):
stint fixes it. Solf, especially someone who's betting on Indian
cricket or whatever the hell he was he was betting on.
So I think from an institutional standpoint, there was a
lot of people who were surprised. There's a lot of
people who looked at at least bigger picture of their
perspective what was happening, saying this is like the first
(05:19):
chip to a column that crumbles the entire pantheon of
college sports, Like this is the first chip away that
could really truly allow them to be a runaway train.
Speaker 7 (05:32):
And that's part of the.
Speaker 8 (05:34):
Concern that I had with it, was if they were
going to allow us to go through, every single subsequent
athlete that has this sort of thing would be able
to go this same path to become eligible. And then
at that point it's like, well, what are the rules then?
Are we just allowed to bet and be able to
get away with it because we can find a judge
who can give us a clear path back to the field,
(05:54):
back to the court.
Speaker 7 (05:56):
If that's the case, it becomes a pretty slippery slope.
Speaker 8 (05:59):
So from an instant institutional standpoint, and there's a lot
of people who are concerned, who took their shots, who
voiced their frustration about it, but at Joey McGuire's level
was you know, as a coach, you get kids who
have all sorts of backgrounds, come from all sorts of
places where they might have done some things and then
done some bad things, and you're trying to give them
(06:21):
a second chance. You're trying to give them an opportunity
to play the sport of the game they love. And
so a lot of these coaches, especially those in the
Big Twelve where you talked about reached out to when
we talked to, they're calling him checking on because it's like,
hey man, I might be in the same spot one day.
Like they know what this sport entails, they know what
life entails. If you coach long enough and see enough,
(06:42):
you see all the all this stuff works out. You
can't sit there and throw rocks at one guy's house
knowing that that might be you next year. So that's
the hard part is like you hear that and you go, well, yeah,
that's good to see. As support of other Big twelve coaches, guys,
he's close with guys who understand you know what that entails.
I mean again, like Colinia Sataki went through an issue
(07:05):
with Jake Retslov last year who you know, according to
their code of conduct and ethics there at Byu could
no longer be with the team.
Speaker 7 (07:14):
He's going to transfer out.
Speaker 8 (07:16):
And like those are unique situations to Byu and client Sataki,
but like they all go through different issues with star
players and quarterbacks, et cetera. But they have a much
greater understanding for how each of those guys is handling it,
so I can understand his perspective. It's just it's hard
(07:36):
for me for them not to look at now that
we're kind of past all of it, to go, yeah,
that probably wasn't the greatest real Like we probably could
have gotten ahead of all of this and just said,
hey man, you did a lot of betting in Indiana
and Cincinnati, and I don't know how you got to
wait with it at Cincinnati, and someone should answer those questions.
But we're just not going to invite you on like
(07:57):
this team, Like we're just not going to do that here.
And then they could have moved on and they would
have saved everyone all of the trouble and the money
and everything else they went through. But I think what
it lastly highlights is the lack of control a head
coach now has at the college football level. We talk
about these guys like they have all the control of
(08:18):
the world. But if you look at Texas Tech right now,
they've got a booster that calls the shots, that's even
over top of the athletic director and the president because
he's got deep enough pockets where if he's got money,
he's gonna be able to persuade a lot of people,
do a lot of things to be able to make
them competitive, make things right. And that's to me. The
(08:38):
other thing that's hot, like flying under the radar, is
you've got a billionaire donor in Cody Campbell, who really
is the shot caller now, at.
Speaker 7 (08:46):
Least the Texas Tech.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
I like the way Joey handled it, and I don't
think that that means he didn't hear or see what
was being said. That just means that he chose not
to acknowledge it, and he took a more positive approach
to what took place, and what happened happened. They can't
go back and do a do over. He can do
a redo. So you move on from it. And what's
(09:11):
the best way to move on from it?
Speaker 5 (09:12):
You?
Speaker 3 (09:14):
They say, what you attract, you attract more with sweet
than you do with with bitter, right, you're the honey
is better than vinegar or whatever they use as the
terminology for it. And I think that that's what Joey
McGuire's doing. He's like, he's basically said, Okay, you know,
there's the support between my you know, the staff with
the A D. There's support there, but there's there's also
(09:38):
the idea that you know, his his peers and his
his cords are are supportive as well, and people can
be critical, but in the inside of it, when you're
on the inside of it, it does feel different. It
does hit differently, and and I think he handled it well,
and he's he isn't the only one that that's dealing.
(09:59):
He's not on a Eiland dealing with this new NCAA,
this new college college environment.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
He's not.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
There are a lot of people that are trying to
figure out how this all works, what to do on
a daily basis, and he's not alone on that. He
just happens to be a part of one of the
biggest stories that was in college sports and in sports
this offseason. That's that's just that's where the cookie crumbles.
(10:28):
I still wonder. I know, we're like, well, now moving forward,
teams are going to have to have more due diligence
in trying to figure out who they're going to recruit
through the transfer portal. You probably got to do the
same thing with kids coming out of high school. To
a certain degree, I just found myself asking in the
question how do you do that? What are like resource wise?
(10:51):
How much resources are you putting into it? So now
are we having a combine for college kids? Do you
got to go through a screening process as a college kid?
Because this kid was at two different schools before he
ended up at Texas Tech as a transfer, and this
(11:11):
information did not become surface public information until he got
to that third school. So I don't really understand how
it would take so long, and then Texas Tech would
be at the epicenter of the eye of the storm,
so to speak, in this scenario when there were two
other schools where the kid was doing the same exact
(11:32):
thing and was able to get through it. Just now
at it just it begs the question what is the
process moving forward? Because again with all of these blurred lines,
what the rules may be the approach you can take
if you do get caught doing something The judges and
the courts ruling. It's not just with gambling. I mean,
(11:53):
we looked at what's going on with Chelmless and his
ability to be able to come back and play this
year after a judge that is air quotes may be
considered to be a fan of the program. It just
seems like there are a lot of question marks that
are out there, and I think the biggest question continues
(12:13):
to be how do you put together a structure where
college sports the main ones that are are drawing and
driving the type of revenue that's coming in. How do
you structure the teams? How do you are they called
franchises now again are you calling the players employees? What
(12:37):
does that look like for you know, other other topics
like compensation, like benefits, you know, liabilities, insurances. There's a
lot of conversations that are being had and I just
don't know that there's a solution in sight, and that
(13:00):
to me, that's what came of.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
I like the way.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
McGuire handled it, but more so for me, it's just
the question marks that surround how do you move What
is the protocol for these coaches and these programs moving forward?
Speaker 5 (13:13):
When you talk about the power structure in college football,
just as it relates to Texas Tech.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
Do you think.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
That Joey McGuire and how the way he handled the
Brendan Soresby stuff and the decision to stand by him
was a directive from Cody Campbell? Like that? That really
was that Joey McGuire, Maybe he didn't feel comfortable with
the whole thing, but he went along with it because
Cody Campbell.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Was the guy calling the shots.
Speaker 8 (13:41):
It's completely out of his control, out of his hands.
If they continue to set up a path where legally
they could continue to keep appealing and finding judges and
working the way up to the point where there was
no one who was going to stop his plan for eligibility,
then what's he going to say? He's not an attorney
or a judge or anyone else to then, you know.
Speaker 7 (14:03):
Make that decision.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Now.
Speaker 7 (14:05):
Ethically, he could sit back and just say, look, this
isn't right.
Speaker 8 (14:08):
I don't want to invite this as a distraction on
my team or based on what he did. He seems
like a great player, good guy, but it's just there's
there's a lot going on here, so I don't you know,
I'm not going to invite that on my team. But
ultimately it's above him. It's no different than if you've
got a general manager. We talk about this all the
time at the NFL level. If the general manager's over
(14:28):
top of the head coach and he's ultimately the one
for supplying the players on the roster, and they bring
it a player who's got some past issues or transgressions,
and that head coach now has to deal with that,
Like he doesn't determine who's on the roster or not.
Speaker 7 (14:41):
It doesn't. They don't always work hand in hand. That's
been a more recent revelation over the years. You know,
oftentimes in the NFL, you go back at a decade or.
Speaker 8 (14:50):
More, it was like a blame game that guys would
work together, but hey man, whoever had the ear of
that owner would ultimately went out in the end if
things didn't go well.
Speaker 7 (15:00):
So like, I don't know that it was a directive.
I just think like Cody Campbell's trying to do a
lot of things within the college sports space, and.
Speaker 8 (15:10):
Ultimately, you know, and you can say right wrong or indifferent,
he's forcing issues that we've never thought would even come
to the light of day, and it is creating somewhat
a present right, Like, if someone does this again now,
at least at the college level, we have a pretty
good example of what's gonna happen. Either there's gonna be
(15:31):
a road where they just hit a wall and they
can't become eligible again and they're not gonna be saved
by the NFL and just we can sit there and say, oh,
they can go to something metal draft like we talked
about all spring, Like that's not gonna be there for
them either. So despite what a lot of people think
about him or whatever he is or is it, or
(15:53):
what he's doing, he is forcing a lot of these
issues to come to the forefront faster than they they
you know, might you might not have in the past.
Speaker 5 (16:02):
Yeah, and I want because Joey McGuire seems like a
good guy and I think you guys have both said
that he's a good dude, and I just I think
he's a great guy.
Speaker 8 (16:09):
As a great coach. It's just, you know, there's a
lot there's a lot of moving parts right now in college.
But what it's hard to handle, and they tend to
be a team or an organization or university that they're
they're not will they're not worried about being that having
that first move for advantage and what comes with that.
And I'm saying like they're a disruptor in this space,
as as LeVar Alexis say.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
And it's almost as if Joey McGuire is the guy
who's got to be the windshield for it all, and
it's really Cody Campbell who's driving the car and he's
sitting behind the wheel and Joey McGuire's out there having
to you know, answer for the program, answer for the
quarterback answer and maybe none of it.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
Is really his call.
Speaker 5 (16:50):
And he's you know, he's being you know, for lack
of a better term, a company guy and trying to
you know, hold the front and let everyone know, hey, listen,
you know, everything is good here. We support at this,
we we but I just I wonder how many people
maybe around college football And maybe that's that is the
support that he got with from other coaches who realize,
hey man, we know that it's not that you maybe
(17:12):
personally feel differently and maybe would have handled this differently,
but you know, unfortunately you're on a spot to where yeah,
you are you are part of a chaotic, you know,
way to go about this.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
And he's just got to be the guy that's got to.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
Answer for Everybody recruits the portal. Everybody recruits the portal.
So it's like it's like, you know, running the risk
of getting a STI right, Like if you jump in there,
there's a chance that you could bring something out.
Speaker 5 (17:45):
What is the next thing you got to go? Well,
they don't call it STDs in the moment.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
Really, That's what I like because they're not diseases. They're infections,
and they're usually curable.
Speaker 7 (17:56):
Usually, But as.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
The diseases are are the aids. I believe this and
then but the other ones are just.
Speaker 8 (18:05):
So we felt so bad for the other quote quote
infections that we had to divide them up, like yes,
I mean, would you rather call her them STDs just
to scare people.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
To Yeah, you know, this is like when they changed
the d L to the IL and baseball.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
It's like, come on, man, oh yeah, I just love
how these dudes get carried away on my analogies. Do
you ever notice how I ever? Can have you ever noticed?
I can never get to a point because these dudes
get carried.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
Away all what.
Speaker 7 (18:33):
I'm just distracted by I did earlier.
Speaker 5 (18:37):
I wanted to make my point.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
I mean can I just make that yeah, S T I.
Speaker 5 (18:45):
That's that's what they're using these days, like st I S.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
So it's it's like, now my bid is ruined. You
know what. I'll just say this. I'll just say this.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
It anybody can fall victim to bringing in someone of
value that has done something that compromises not only the player,
but compromises the program. Everybody is susceptible to that. In fact,
(19:16):
I'm curious as to how prevalent the conduct of some
of these guys will become as we move here in
the future. And that's like that's based off of leveraging
the team to pay you more money or I'm not
going to play. You know, there's different things that these
(19:39):
athletes now have a voice to say what they're feeling
and handling things the way that they handle them. And
it's just you can't just send away an athlete every
single time you have a bump in the road with
(19:59):
that athlete. There's just not You're not going to have
a crazy, crazy, crazy high percentage. Considering all of the
programs that have to fill their programs with players. You're
not going to have a clear slate of just good, sound,
(20:20):
young people that don't do dumb stuff.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
So I just I'm just, you know.
Speaker 7 (20:27):
I'd like already the opposite of that day.
Speaker 8 (20:28):
I'm just saying that the old fighting Irish have a
pretty clean slate of guys.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
You know, there's some there's some places where, there's some
places where that that exists.
Speaker 7 (20:39):
That far.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
I don't have a problem.
Speaker 7 (20:42):
How about that.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
That should be a fine.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
I'll I'll take a fine.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
I mean, I enjoy the Notre Dame flexing lately. I do,
I really do. I'm I like it. And y'all got
a light skin coach. I didn't go all the way
in with Dillingham a little bit. He's brown.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
You know, y'all got that. Y'all got a light bright.
Speaker 8 (21:06):
Yeah, you forgot. That's who I want to go play for.
That's who I committed to. You know, No, you can't
say the same that solid. You can't know what's crazy.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
I can't. You can't say I went to what I
was used to.
Speaker 5 (21:17):
I was coached by by Italians growing up, one one irishman,
and I went and.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Played for an Italian. I guess it's just like that's
what I was around. Those were my teammates that came over.
Speaker 7 (21:30):
Hey, forget about it.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
Come come to Penn State. You know, co did did
you tell uh Willingham that your dad's name was Tyrone too?
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Did that ever?
Speaker 5 (21:43):
Come?
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (21:44):
But then you know, Chopper just started calling them chops
or choppers. I was like, man, this is not good,
you know, and if people don't know my jobs, it's
it's hard. Like I introduced my dad last night to
uh To, to a gentleman and and I said, hey,
his name's Time. Everyone calls him chopper and chops, and
then he'll you call him that. He calls you that.
(22:06):
It's a whole thing, and they're like, what do you mean.
I'm like, he's terrible with names, and so it's just
he calls all women cysts, and he calls all guys
chopper chops.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
That's how it is, smart man, trust me, smart man,
I don't call anybody by their name because I don't
remember your name.
Speaker 7 (22:23):
He came to a swim and dive feat.
Speaker 8 (22:25):
Before he watched one event, he crushed a hot dog
and a beer.
Speaker 7 (22:29):
Then he was like, all right, now I could go
watch the kids.
Speaker 8 (22:32):
But like I had to have a hot dog and
a beer before we even got to watch anything.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
So it sounds like my type of guy, man man chops.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
I just call everybody buddy, Hey, buddy.
Speaker 7 (22:46):
Yeah, that did come up too. It's like, what would
be your thing you'd say for someone, and I said, honestly,
I don't know. I'm not sure I can get it done.
Speaker 8 (22:53):
To the stand by Chopper and for the ones who get
it done like chopperpers access to over a million products
and the skilled deliver where you need them, the right
soools and supplies.

Argentina beat Egypt three to two. Switzerland beat Columbia four
to three on penalties. Hey man, congratulations to Brady Quinn
and CALVS fans everywhere. Spie us back for more. Donovan
(24:59):
Mitchell run it back signs a four year, two hundred
and thirty million dollar extension.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
With the Calves.
Speaker 5 (25:06):
He could have pulled a joker and waited until next
year and cashed in for over three hundred million, but
he decided, you know what, I'm gonna get it done now.
But the problem is, if anybody thinks this is a
prelude to what's going to happen with Lebron, not quite.
All of that is writing on James Harden and when
he makes his decision. If James Harden signs a deal
(25:28):
with the Calves before Lebron announces his decision, Lebron's not
going to Cleveland. So really we're kind of waiting on.
Uh who's that's who told you? That's that's how it work.
Speaker 7 (25:39):
That's the report. That's the report.
Speaker 8 (25:43):
I would I would say this, if that is the case,
I would not suspect that James Harden will make any decision,
nor the Calves would make any decision until Lebron makes
his decision, because no one wants to be the guy
who got in the way of Lebron his career in Cleveland.
Signing there like that would be disastrous for James Harden.
(26:07):
I mean, there's the first shot he misses. You know
he's gonna be hearing it from Cavs fans who would
be wanting to see that take place. So I I
completely get it.
Speaker 7 (26:18):
It's understandable.
Speaker 8 (26:19):
I don't know what the timetable is for Lebron to
make his decision, but there's no shot I would say
zero percent chance the Calves would sign Harden before Lebron
makes this decision unless they feel like they could absorb
both and they've got something in play to be able
to have both Harden and Lebron there as well. I
(26:40):
don't know from their salary caps standpoint, if that's possible
based on what both guys want. I mean, maybe they
could for you know, league minimums, but I don't think
Harden wants that, and I don't know that Lebron wants
that either.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
This one is a complex conversation because if I'm Lebron Jaymes, again,
what is my motivation in coming back. You you own
basically almost every individual record, scoring titles, whatever like You've
You've accomplished so much, So what's the reason for coming back.
(27:19):
I still think the reason for coming back is to
try to leave out on top. There's there can't be
really any other reason other than he's he's trying to
get more titles connected to his name, to have some
more prestige when they talk about him after his career
(27:41):
is long done. I don't see that getting done in Cleveland.
I don't And and and he goes there, he's with
Spider Mitchell. Okay, I just they got to do it?
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Was it?
Speaker 3 (27:56):
Harris the download Duty's pretty good, dude, look like a
throwback Kareem abdul Jabbar like. But but Luele Sinder not
before he changed his name.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
Jared Allen Jared Allen, Right, they got some players.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
I just don't think there. I just do not think Cleveland,
even if some way, somehow they were able to make
it out of the East to play the West in
the finals, I just don't see Cleveland being the team
that can stand up to okay See or San Antonio.
(28:37):
If he's going to go to a team in the East,
he has to go to a team that can match
up well against one of those two and potentially three,
because you just, I just you know, Minnesota might might
figure it out, the Nuggets might bounce back. There's still
(28:57):
the potential in the time for the Nuggets bounce back.
I just don't see Lebron going, even though it's Cleveland,
and maybe the sentimental value outweighs anything else, but it shouldn't.
He's won a championship with Cleveland, so he doesn't have
to feel any type of way. Oh, I didn't finish
(29:18):
out my career with Cleveland's that's cap I just think
that he needs to find a team, go to San
Antonio and be the sixth man off the bench, be
a player, coach, come off the bench, help Castle, help
those guys, and take a veteran league minimum, humble yourself
(29:38):
in this moment, and go to a team where you
can get a championship.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
That's San Antonio.
Speaker 7 (29:46):
You're trying to get Lebron to be a sixth man.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Speaking of and Detroit, Yes, absolutely, why not be a sixth.
Speaker 7 (29:52):
Man because he'd be a starter.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
He can start, he could, he could start, he could a.
Speaker 7 (29:58):
Six sixty games.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
A six man is just as good as a starter
in today's NBA.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
He's he's old as huh huh?
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Who was?
Speaker 3 (30:09):
Who was one of the best players? Need I remind
you again? I just said it the other day. Dylan
Harper was the best player for San Antonio in spurts
for the team, for the team, Dylan Harper in two
series back to back.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
By the way, the series leading up to it.
Speaker 7 (30:30):
He came in some clutch moments. I think we'd say Wimby.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
I wouldn't say clutch moments. I say he came in
and and definitely dictated the game. He was aggressive against
the Knicks, he was aggressive against Okac. He got in
there and he was a boost. I'm just saying six
man is not taking.
Speaker 7 (30:48):
The head over Wimby.
Speaker 8 (30:50):
But the general point is, like, to me, he's not
a six man, he's Lebron James.
Speaker 7 (30:54):
He's not gonna sit the badge to start games. I'm sorry, Like,
that's why not? That's absurd?
Speaker 4 (30:59):
Why because you.
Speaker 8 (30:59):
Look James like like why would you even come back
at that point. It's like saying, well, Tom Brady's gonna
go down to Tampa to back up someone.
Speaker 7 (31:08):
You're not doing that.
Speaker 5 (31:09):
Whatever what happened to the whole Have you noticed that
there's been every team's like the hot team for a
couple of days with the Lebron chase, like it was
always a foregone conclusion. He's going to go back to
the Lakers and Kevin Love's going to join him. What
happened to that? And then it's oh, well he's going
to go to the Warriors because he wants to play
with Steph Curry And what happened to that one?
Speaker 3 (31:31):
And it's like, you can't win it. Hush, Golden State
is not going to win anything.
Speaker 5 (31:36):
To tell us agent to do another whiteboard session and
explain all these things.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
Like I don't know what are we doing here? What
is what's taking so long?
Speaker 3 (31:45):
You know, I don't know. All I'm saying is I
just go If you go to San Antonio.
Speaker 7 (31:52):
You wanted to be a sixth man to go.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
Win a championship, why not? He's going to be fresh.
Speaker 5 (31:57):
You know what, if you think about it, that's the
one award he hasn't won. Sixth Man of the Year
here you go.
Speaker 7 (32:02):
Really, I'm sure he's really angling for that one.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
Hey, why are you coming.
Speaker 7 (32:05):
Back, Jordan or Lebron?
Speaker 8 (32:07):
Well, Lebron did win the sixth man award that ye yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
Y'all are acting like you know what, I've never been
third team. I've never been third team All NBA. That's
my goal this year.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
If he's coming off of the bench, you've created an
amount of depth that you wouldn't need if you're if
you're the San Antonio Spurs, it was their bench that
that lost them the championship, not not their starters.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
And and so to me, I think they got a
guy like if.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
You got to be didn't play great. They really didn't
have enough in the end game. So imagine if you
got Lebron coming off of the bench to.
Speaker 7 (32:47):
Give you if he's not playing more minutes, he's coming
off the bench, Like I just.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
I just think that zero.
Speaker 5 (32:53):
I think it makes one hundred percent since if.
Speaker 8 (32:56):
You ridiculous, you'd sound if you said that about like
oh Kobe or Jordan or any of the old time
grades like no, no, no, no, he should come off the betch.
Speaker 7 (33:06):
He shouldn't be a starter.
Speaker 4 (33:07):
At forty one.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
I think it's more about preservation than it is about ego.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Forty games.
Speaker 7 (33:14):
Have n't played sixty games and let him do load management.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
But it's a it's a good team, it's a solid roster.
That doesn't necessarily if he's going to a team like
San Antonio. It is not a It's not a horrible
thought to think that he would be coming off of
the bench in that duty. It's not just like that
that might be more ego driven than it is sensibly driven.
(33:40):
If I want a championship and I'm going to go
to a championship roster team, then the idea of potentially,
at the age he's at, being a six man, I
don't find that to be horrible or egregious in any way.
It just that's that's how he would fit into the
fabric and the dynamic of that roster. In particular, if
(34:02):
he would to Okay, see, it'd be the same exact thing,
it'd be the same exact thing.
Speaker 8 (34:07):
I'm sorry, man, I don't think he's going anywhere and
he's going to be just sitting the bench to start it.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
Well, just anywhere that he goes that he's going to start.
It's probably not everywhere he goes. I would be willing
to bet anything. Well, anywhere that they're taking him that's
probably not a championship run team.
Speaker 7 (34:26):
I E.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
For example, your Cleveland Cavaliers.
Speaker 7 (34:31):
Take that to the Eastern Conference Final.
Speaker 4 (34:33):
Good for them, terrible take, good for them. This is
I mean it's terrible.
Speaker 8 (34:37):
Take this is. This is up there with your old
time worst time. I mean, his career as a sixth man.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
Now you preserving. Now is he playing to.
Speaker 8 (34:49):
He played sixty games last year, like thirty three minutes
a game was his average.
Speaker 5 (34:53):
So is he playing He could do that again? So
is he your power Is he your power forward? In
San Antonio? Would you put him in a.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
The power forward?
Speaker 3 (35:00):
No, he would be more of a facilitator, okay, like
a point forward, like a point forward, like if that's
how you want to label it.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
He would come in as a facilitator.
Speaker 5 (35:10):
So you got him backing up Tobias Harris in San Antonio.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
But they just signed I mean, if that's who they
brought in, he disappears in the playoffs too. He disappears
in the playoffs. I just think it's more for for
Lebron to be fresh, for him to be in a
situation where he fits into the dynamic of a very,
very gifted and talented team in San Antonio. Now, if
(35:39):
you were to go to Cleveland, sure you start if
you go to Golden State.
Speaker 4 (35:44):
Sure you start, but what y'all winning? Who y'all beaten?
Speaker 2 (35:50):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (35:50):
Houston, y'all gonna go beat Houston and then go get
your asses kicked by Okay? See all right, so you
beat a starter, go get your asses kicked. You want
to go to the e Do you want to go
to Cleveland? Go get your asses kicked somebody.
Speaker 8 (36:04):
What what you're saying is Lebron going to a team
does not increase their ability to win a championship.
Speaker 7 (36:09):
Is basically what you're saying.
Speaker 8 (36:10):
He has to go to either, Okay, see san Antonio.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
Detroit Knicks Detroit.
Speaker 8 (36:18):
Like I understand that they're a young team that kind
of up and covers, but like, are they even in
the mix?
Speaker 3 (36:23):
Yes, potentially for his for his decision, I don't, I
don't think well, I don't, I don't.
Speaker 8 (36:29):
I don't know what what's well, based on odds, Based
on the odds, it's okay, See san Antonio, we don't
have enough time for this conversation, apparently, but you're you're
basically saying that he doesn't help them win a championship.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
He's just I think he's better off going to a
team where he fits into the team that's already good,
versus going to a team that could potentially be good
based upon him.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
I don't like.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
I don't think got his age that that's a wise decision.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
I'm trying to tell you, Boston Man. Try to tell you, guys.
I tried to tell you. Nobody wants to listen, nobody
wants to go well.
Speaker 8 (37:07):
Nobody also wants Their standards are lower. And everyone knows

how it should be. That's why I take M Drive

Speaker 2 (38:55):
Hello, what up?
Speaker 11 (38:55):
Pe?
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Good morning? Brady? Hellol of our.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
Hi buddy, you know I'm here. I hear you.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Hi, Petros, Yes, good morning, Jonas.
Speaker 4 (39:07):
How are you? Uh? How are you handling.
Speaker 5 (39:13):
Just the fallout and the disappointment of Team USA and
the World Cup just really disappointing situation.
Speaker 11 (39:20):
You know, I was upset about it until I saw
how upset the coach at Egypt was, and then I
was kind of happy.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
That he was upset, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (39:31):
How did are upset?
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (39:33):
I just there's a lot of emotion, a lot of
international emotion, and I think it's interesting and it's an
interesting contrast because we did enjoy the World Cup while
the US was there. I think people are enjoying it
still and it's going to be a spectacle in North
America until it's over. I think it can't be argued
(39:55):
that this has been a great success so far, and
people have loved, particularly being in the United States and
going to games and enjoying our venues and all the
different stuff we have to offer. I think that's been
a really cool, sort of additive or whatever of this event.
(40:16):
I think that the interesting contrast is, and it's a
real point. These people that are Argentina or Columbia or
anybody else, they live this with every organ in their body,
and when they lose, there are months and months and
months of desolation and sadness. And for us it's like, oh, okay,
(40:40):
well back to baseball, to no Tani hit a home run,
when's pro football starting?
Speaker 2 (40:44):
You know that kind of stuff.
Speaker 11 (40:46):
It kind of washes out of our consciousness pretty fast
because of our twenty four to seven sports media, And
the team was so darn disappointing and got so dominated
by a really good European team, So I guess that
shows you what the gap is. But as far as
the whole event and everything, I think it's been pretty
damn great. And for anybody arguing that it's too political,
(41:09):
I would ask the question, how do you think the
damn thing ended up and cut her four years ago?
Speaker 4 (41:13):
Oh yeah, let's just.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Do this, let's just do Why are we doing?
Speaker 11 (41:17):
Why are we doing this event in this terrible desert
country filled with angry Bedouins that aren't even from here.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
Let's yeah, let's go people.
Speaker 4 (41:25):
People were dying building the stadium.
Speaker 11 (41:27):
Yeah, they were getting buried inside the stadiums. And we
were like, oh, you know, but I hated here in
the US. It's too political.
Speaker 8 (41:34):
Shut Petro's my favorite is now Trump's taking the blame
for their loss. It was like, well, if he had intervened,
then they probably would have won or played better.
Speaker 7 (41:42):
I was like, oh, anytime.
Speaker 11 (41:44):
He shows up, there's going to be a fifty to
fifty vibe. And that's okay. You know, when he comes
to a college football game, they go absolutely bonkers for him.
But yeah, Trump is one thing. But the politics of
the World Cup is part of the World Cup. I mean,
that's that's the whole thing. There's countries involved, countries are political,
countries have borders. They all have different beliefs and religious
(42:07):
beliefs and you know, death to America being chanted before
gettings and stuff like that. I mean, whatever, it's it's
that's the world. That's how it is. But I think
it's funny that people would be like, well, there's no
place for politics of the World Cup. It's like, for real,
did you have fun and Cutter shut up?
Speaker 3 (42:25):
Can I switch to a real sport or do you
guys want to continue to talk that?
Speaker 2 (42:29):
Has that been your stance for a month?
Speaker 7 (42:32):
Oh buddy, I've had soccer segments.
Speaker 3 (42:35):
I had literally had easy shows for at least thirty minutes.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
It is kind of.
Speaker 11 (42:41):
Funny, though, like when you turn on the talking head
shows and some talking head that you already don't respect,
like Brusard with his yeah what sorry and uh like
he's okay, and he's sitting there and talking, and like
the Chiron says is Spain and trouble after their time
I with Cape Verde, It's like, what shut up, Broussard, you.
Speaker 4 (43:05):
Know, because I don't.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
I don't care enough to know enough about it, and
I just, you know, I'd rather be real with with
our listening fans versus you know, sugarcoated and act like
I know it, like I can read pretty well. You
see that shoe says a DT to see. I can't
get through it if I read it, but I don't.
I just don't care to read it to you.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
Work in sports, and you do.
Speaker 11 (43:29):
I had that dismissive attitude for many, many, many, many
many years, and I believe it was because well because
growing up, when we grew up, everybody that didn't play
football was a weenie. I'd use a different word, but.
Speaker 3 (43:41):
Of course you would, right, and that it's the friend
to the weenie, right, Okay, okay, there you go get
in most places, there you go.
Speaker 4 (43:50):
Yeah, well you got to make that clear to these days.
Speaker 11 (43:53):
But I I I don't feel that way anymore. I
feel like it was a dismissive way to be in
kind of whenever I don't want to deal with something
or handle it, I just compartmentalize it into something that
can't I can't process, right, And it is we don't
have a lot of patients because of our way, our
(44:16):
society is. We don't have a lot of patients for
the way the sport has played. If nothing really exciting
is happening, and I that's fine.
Speaker 2 (44:24):
I understand that.
Speaker 11 (44:24):
I also understand the fact that every time something exciting
does happen, somebody gets called for offside, which is also.
Speaker 2 (44:31):
Kind of upsetting.
Speaker 11 (44:32):
But I enjoy I guess LeVar I would say, I've
come to enjoy the spectacle of the world, the different
cultures coming together.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
That it's just like.
Speaker 11 (44:43):
College football, the Olympics, Yeah, it's like college football to me,
where the personality of the coaches, the team, the region,
the place takes over on the field.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
As well, and it's something to enjoy like that.
Speaker 11 (44:58):
But now that it's all over, we don't have to
worry about it or argue about what you should like
or shouldn't like.
Speaker 4 (45:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:03):
Well, I wouldn't even argue over what I like or
what I don't like. I said, listen, this is the
beauty of a three man show if I can. If
I come into a topic that I'm excited about, I'm
gonna take it.
Speaker 4 (45:15):
I mean, they brought out the big guns some of
those countries.
Speaker 3 (45:18):
And you see how Jonas's perverted ass wants to turn
it into the big guns and the cannon and missiles.
Speaker 11 (45:26):
That's part of it, right, Well, that would probably be supporters.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
That would probably be the most interesting thing to me.
Speaker 11 (45:34):
They get their support for their chest missiles and then
they go support the missiles. They get their war You know,
some of these countries aren't some of these countries aren't
allowed to have nuclear weapons, but they get the real
war heads out. Check out them two warheads and MetLife.
Although I didn't see any like Chick from meat on
(45:56):
with huge boobs, like you know, I know that were
I know there's big boob and Persian chicks in l A.
Speaker 2 (46:03):
I just don't didn't see him at the GEN.
Speaker 8 (46:07):
What we found interesting Petros was for the US Games,
they always just show celebrities, but for like Columbia, Brazil,
like everyone else may be showing absolute.
Speaker 7 (46:17):
Mounts just traveling around the state.
Speaker 4 (46:20):
Celeb you feel like sometimes you don't.
Speaker 11 (46:24):
Celebrity is one thing. Celebrity boobies is a whole lot.
Speaker 5 (46:28):
Yeah, like we get like I give a rip that
Eddie Vedder's at the US game when I watch Columbia
and they've got a thirteen out of ten everywhere you turn.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
Hey, look at me, Eddie Vedder. I'm gonna put this
beer on my head.
Speaker 11 (46:40):
Yeah shut up, hang yeah, I I there. There is
part of the soccer thing that's been a little bit
and suffering.
Speaker 3 (46:48):
It just kind of is to me and I just
let Q and Joan Joanes has a soccer little uh.
Speaker 4 (46:53):
Crew Italian, Yeah, Italian the last three World Cups. There
you go on the way they get represents, got his
deal on and the studio.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
But I was going to ask you about Kelsey and
uh and Taylor Swift. They the wedding, they tad the
not they did it. They made it to where they're going.
What's your Uh we got an opinion on it.
Speaker 4 (47:14):
Sure, well he should apologize first, is what he should do?
Speaker 2 (47:17):
For what?
Speaker 4 (47:17):
Because you doubted their love? He didn't think it was real,
you know.
Speaker 2 (47:20):
So that was Eric Dickerson.
Speaker 11 (47:24):
Eric Dickerson used to come on our show once a week,
and you know, we it's kind of hard to have
the same football conversation over and over with a running back,
and finally we just started telling I mean it is,
I'm an idiot.
Speaker 4 (47:35):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (47:36):
We started talking to him about the wedding, and he'd
be like, listen, there is no way that man plays football.
He don't want to be you see.
Speaker 5 (47:44):
She ain't got no ask you know, like Eric, not
from what it came from.
Speaker 11 (47:51):
He was very opinionated about this, and uh, and I
love Eric Dickerson by the way, He's one of my
favorite backs of all time and one of my favorite
people to be around. But he hadn't know no faith
in the in this nuptials. Now they wouldn't. They invited
like every chief there is and their family, but not
the kicker because he said it was okay just to
(48:13):
be married with kids as a woman, and Taylor Swift
didn't like hearing that, even though I'm pretty sure that's
what her mom did. Uh, she didn't like that, so
she didn't invite the Chiefs Kicker, which is a real
that's bs and did. I don't believe they. Was he
ever on a team with Wiley? If he was, maybe
(48:35):
you should have. Oh no, I'm just saying, when you
go after Disney, you better have your all your p's
and q. You better be Troy Paulamalu. You better be
reading the Bible and going to bed at nine at
eight o'clock. If you go after Disney, Mickey Mouse is
gonna come back and sniff out it. Hey, whoa, whoa,
He's gonna find out what you did. But anyway, he
(48:59):
signed a four page pre nup with a huge infidelity clause.
Speaker 12 (49:04):
In there because you saw his ax. Yeah, yeah, we
doesn't look like the other one look like that's why, Eric,
What do you mean?
Speaker 11 (49:15):
She's she's more bulbousy, and she is a darker hue
than Taylor Swift.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
And and that meaning what.
Speaker 2 (49:25):
She's a darkest, darker skinned woman.
Speaker 3 (49:28):
She's got a like like you mean like Sicilian, because
Sicilians they use that terminology.
Speaker 4 (49:34):
You know, there's a flavor Italians. They used that that there's.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
Northern Italians and there's a southern part.
Speaker 7 (49:40):
You know.
Speaker 4 (49:41):
That was just a petros.
Speaker 5 (49:42):
You said he went from Ghana to Norway's extreme?
Speaker 4 (49:46):
I mean that's extreme.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
What do you mean? I think Gone is pretty extreme.
That was extreme? Would I would say turks and kick?
Speaker 4 (49:52):
Okay, there you go better? That's better?
Speaker 2 (49:55):
God, that's an extreme.
Speaker 11 (49:59):
What One of my favorite afrobeat artists is a Ghanaian
and I have a Ghanaian flag that I saw in
one of the his videos and I was like, I'm
going to get that.
Speaker 2 (50:10):
Flag and I did.
Speaker 7 (50:12):
He did.
Speaker 2 (50:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (50:13):
Now it's in my closet. But every once in a
while would be fun. If I had a flagpole, I
could run the Ghanaian flag up there, confuse the hell
out everybody. It's red, golden green, which I enjoy. Do
you think it is of Africa?
Speaker 3 (50:25):
You think it om pac Kelsey's focus on football?
Speaker 11 (50:29):
You think he'd like I think his focus on football
being gone? I mean, you look, he's a tight end
in his fiftieth year. All those guys do is not
want to go to camp and run an outlet route,
and that's what he's gonna do.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
Am I wrong? I mean, don't remember Tony Gonzalez. You know.
Speaker 11 (50:45):
I don't want to go to camp for I don't
want to watch him install stretch zone again. But I
would like to come back and get another fifty catches.
That's probably what his mindset is. Forty page pre nup Taylor's.
They both did twenty minutes. Spoken vow was bitch made dangez.
She sang part of her vows and he cried like
(51:07):
a bitch. I mean I they closed down the whole city.
They told everybody they couldn't use their air conditioner, but
they had Madison Square Garden bumped up to thirty two
degrees Celsia's. They had a giant buffet, not enough seats.
Speaker 2 (51:24):
People had to stand up and eat like they were
like moose.
Speaker 7 (51:28):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
That's all I really know about. Oh Rich.
Speaker 11 (51:32):
Two of the most insufferable people in the history of
the sports media, Rich Eisen and his awful wife Susie
Schnooster were there, Dang, and they looked in the picture
like like they were, you know, like a night like
a thirteenth century painting. All serious in the pain, but
what a wonderful event. Who has a wedding at Madison
(51:55):
Square Garden?
Speaker 2 (51:56):
Who does that?
Speaker 8 (51:56):
I mean that, honestly was the first thing they came
to mind was why yes?
Speaker 7 (52:02):
Because how big the venue is.
Speaker 11 (52:03):
Like the word, the word narcissism is used a lot,
you know these days. Anybody that says anything they don't
like anybody goes to a psychiatrist and they say, you know,
I know why I don't like my mother.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
She's a narcissist.
Speaker 11 (52:15):
Yeah, that word is overused, but I think narcissism is
a pretty good definition of what went down between between
those two. Very I mean, she's almost forty and you
saw how she was acting at the nick game. It's like,
this person must be insufferable and she has no ass dang,
(52:40):
and her music's like look, okay. One last point about
Taylor Swift. The most popular person when we were growing
up as far as music goes at pop music was,
of course the king of.
Speaker 7 (52:51):
Pop Michael Jackson.
Speaker 11 (52:53):
Michael Jackson, for whatever you think about him and the
controversy and all that, let's put that away for just second.
Talk about he was the guy where the cameras were
all over him, his hair caught on fire, there was
always something going on with his monkey.
Speaker 2 (53:06):
The elephant Man's bones.
Speaker 11 (53:08):
You know, all the different ridiculous stories that followed Michael
Jackson when we were kids, tabloids.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
John Merrick, are you kidding?
Speaker 11 (53:17):
I remember, unless you've seen your brother have to play
him in a play for three hours, the most depressing
thing in the world. I remember, The freaking Elephant Man anyway,
sad movie, sad story, but also part of a larger
view of how society celebrates the grotesque and odd. But overall,
(53:38):
I have to say, Michael Jackson was our Taylor Swift.
And the level of talent that Michael Jackson possessed in
one of his weird straightened Jerry Curle hairstrands is a
billion times more than Taylor Swift could ever like dream
of Taylor Swift has zero talent compared to somebody like
(54:01):
Michael Jackson, compared to another pop singer.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
We grew up with Whitney Houston, you know, with Bobby be.
Speaker 11 (54:10):
Unbelievable talent, unbelievable voice, and I feel like, Okay, Taylor
Swift is a big deal. She's had all this success,
but the gap between how good she is and how
good what we are pop singers were Prince. You know,
do you know Taylor Swift? She might not be. I
(54:34):
don't think she's better than Beyonce, but I don't think
Beyonce is that good either, you know, I don't you know.
Speaker 2 (54:39):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (54:40):
I have very little Shaka Khan or Beyonce Shaka Khan.
Speaker 11 (54:44):
Any any any artist from from a while back is
going to be better than Taylor Swift. Right, So that's
my I have a problem with. I don't think she
should be celebrated.
Speaker 2 (54:55):
She sucks.
Speaker 5 (54:56):
And and Vogue or Destiny's Child and Vogue.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
Yes, come on, what are you talking about? I mean,
free your.
Speaker 4 (55:05):
Mind and the rests will follow the bangs.
Speaker 13 (55:11):
I can't change your mind. You can't change my color. Yeah,
never again, Okay, never again? It okay, Destiny Child? All right,
all right, let's go in Vogue, in Vogue or s
w you're taking s WV.
Speaker 2 (55:32):
I have to. They're the blackest one. They weren't well,
they of course they were.
Speaker 9 (55:40):
S w V.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
Or Escape Atlanta. I'm going s w V. But Escape
had candy from a Real Housewives Atlanta.
Speaker 4 (55:50):
She wrote a lot of hits.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
She did a talented talent, talented, bad choice and husband.
Speaker 4 (55:57):
Dang, she let him go. Todd, Yeah, Todd had to go.
Speaker 2 (56:01):
I did watch some Real Housewives of Atlanta. You go sad?
What happened to kro kreud Berman?
Speaker 6 (56:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (56:07):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (56:08):
Or Falcon bad bad bad scene? Married the wrong lady?
Speaker 12 (56:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (56:12):
Well, I mean, but you knew she was wrong going
into it.
Speaker 2 (56:15):
Some people just make up at choice, not some bad choice. Smile.
Speaker 4 (56:20):
It's not a good stay.
Speaker 5 (56:21):
It does seem like that show has been in the
news recently with some what Atlanta, the one out here,
Beverly Hills, the one O my here?
Speaker 2 (56:32):
What happened?
Speaker 3 (56:32):
You know? I mean some some people would say, you
get a taste of the glory. You get a taste
and then you you lose it.
Speaker 4 (56:39):
What happened?
Speaker 3 (56:40):
You don't have it? Well, I mean, you know I
miss something. I go, you go ahead take it?
Speaker 5 (56:47):
You know Marcellus Wiley and oh the Real Housewives wife
was I mean, oh she was, Oh that big?
Speaker 11 (56:55):
She has a weird looking long faced it she got
a real long face like a cariboo.
Speaker 2 (57:01):
Am I wrong?
Speaker 4 (57:05):
Like a caribou? Is wild?
Speaker 2 (57:07):
Am I wrong?
Speaker 9 (57:09):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (57:11):
You know that's a decent comp.
Speaker 2 (57:15):
Like a real long faceted lady.
Speaker 4 (57:17):
We've lost We've lost some bar.
Speaker 2 (57:19):
Why where did he go? Uh? Are you? Are you?
Speaker 9 (57:21):
Like?
Speaker 4 (57:22):
What is it like mac Tonight? You think she's got
like a mac Tonight?
Speaker 11 (57:25):
Uh No, it's doesn't curve out in the bottom like
a like an elf.
Speaker 7 (57:30):
It goes down.
Speaker 1 (57:32):
No.
Speaker 2 (57:33):
I just saw a picture of her.
Speaker 11 (57:34):
That's funny because I stopped watching the Real Housewives of
Beverly Hills a while back.
Speaker 2 (57:39):
Uh just because my wife stopped watching it.
Speaker 11 (57:41):
So uh I I I saw a picture of Marcellus's
ex wife or whatever, just this, you know, like on
TMZ just the other day or this morning, and I
noticed she had a tennis ball head haircut and a
real a long face like Sherlock Holme, like a long.
Speaker 4 (58:03):
So can I ask you? Because I actually did want
to get you.
Speaker 2 (58:06):
She looked athletic.
Speaker 11 (58:08):
You look like one of those chicks that you find,
you know, when you play college football, and like, you know,
like one of the volleyball.
Speaker 5 (58:13):
Chicks or something.
Speaker 4 (58:15):
Can I ask you this?
Speaker 2 (58:16):
Am I wrong? Am I what? No?
Speaker 3 (58:18):
It's fair listening. It might be the funniest dude the careboo.
I know some pretty funny dudes. And and you're and
you're laying a funny you are one of the funniest dude.
Speaker 4 (58:30):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 11 (58:31):
I really don't know the story, though I know Marcellus
has been alleged to do some things.
Speaker 3 (58:36):
Some actions pointed in our face, But I mean she's
since come out and say.
Speaker 2 (58:42):
What in her face? That's a long ass face? Is that?
Speaker 3 (58:46):
Like, that's kind of guess it would have had to
have taken a long ass finger for her to know
that general direction in her face.
Speaker 7 (58:52):
Just pointing anywhere in the general point.
Speaker 4 (58:56):
Also is that the front door is a window, are
you I found.
Speaker 8 (59:00):
A photo that I sent you that I believe backs
up your claim of the facial structure and also the
the animal you compared it to.
Speaker 7 (59:07):
It's what she's wearing.
Speaker 2 (59:09):
Find my phone. I'm not wearing clothes. Nice, you know.
Speaker 11 (59:15):
I would have put on clothes, but I got up
and my daughter was like laid out on. My daughter
will sleep like it's like a like a cat or
something that you don't know, like where the cat is asleep, and.
Speaker 4 (59:26):
It could be anywhere and you step on it, right,
you know.
Speaker 11 (59:29):
Today she was on the ottoman with like an iPad
over her face. So, uh, that was kind of a
scrambled drill before before the show started. But I will
find my phone and check that caribou. You know what
I'm saying, Like, trust me, as soon as like the Antlers.
Speaker 7 (59:51):
As soon as you see this picture, you'll be like, yep,
all right.
Speaker 11 (59:54):
Yeah, Well, I'm sorry that it didn't work out, but
they're they're no longer together, Marcella.
Speaker 4 (59:58):
She foul for divorce. Appically, yeah, have you.
Speaker 11 (01:00:01):
Ever seen the movie Rushmore? No, it's one of my
favorite movies ever. Bill Murray was nominated for Best Supporting
Actor for it, and he should have won. But in Rushmore,
his wife's leaving him, and uh, he's a very rich
guy and he's checking into this this bougie hotel and
the guy goes, how long will you be staying with us,
mister bloom? He goes, indefinitely, I'm being sued for divorce,
(01:00:23):
and she goes. The guy goes, very good, sir, all right,
but but.
Speaker 8 (01:00:31):
Hold on, Petros. Of all the Bill Murray rules, was
Kingtin not his greatest maybe Big Aran McCracken, And it
was it true that the he just lived the entire.
Speaker 11 (01:00:44):
How many years is it bitch about a year for
every topic on the Potato bo.
Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
When he pulls his arm off and it's like, oh,
you know, I mean.
Speaker 11 (01:00:54):
His performance during the bowling with the music and the
I mean, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:01:00):
When the waitress walks up to it, goes another tangraine tab.
You keep him coming, sweets. I got a long drive
ahead of me.
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
I act.
Speaker 8 (01:01:11):
But I think the throwaway that he makes about the
allegations I pulled out way early on that one.
Speaker 7 (01:01:19):
It was a stone cold liar.
Speaker 11 (01:01:20):
Sometimes Big Ern is already there in the morning. I
will have to say. I think that the Big Ern
is great, but the more nuanced character. My favorite character
he plays is mister bloom and Rushmore, and then secondarily
would be Steve Ze Sue in the Life.
Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
Aquatic with Steve Ze.
Speaker 4 (01:01:42):
What about groundhog Day?
Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
Groundhog Day is great, but it's never been one of
my favorites. Huh, Steve Ze.
Speaker 4 (01:01:47):
Sue when he says capable boring movie?
Speaker 11 (01:01:50):
Which one groundhog Day? Yeah, yeah's sort of the same
thing over and over right.
Speaker 4 (01:01:53):
Yeah it is and it isn't.
Speaker 11 (01:01:56):
Sort of What do you think Marcella's Wiley felt everyone
turned his head around. I'm laying next to the Empire
state buildings attached to a woman's body.
Speaker 8 (01:02:07):
Hey, take the canoe, And I thought Giselle a monument face.
Speaker 7 (01:02:14):
I thought Giselle's getting bad from you. I think this
is probably the most intense you've been.
Speaker 11 (01:02:20):
Jiselle could cut a ham with her face. You don't
think that UFC guys getting some nicks and cuts.
Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
It's like Date Edward Scissorhands.
Speaker 7 (01:02:33):
Tom Brady had a cutman walking around.
Speaker 11 (01:02:38):
I got one of the best cutmen in the industry.
I'm a bit of a bleeder, but I got a
great cut man.
Speaker 2 (01:02:44):
Uh yeah. Overall, I would say, what were we talking about?
Speaker 4 (01:02:48):
Didn't matter?
Speaker 5 (01:02:50):
Yeah, the detour was way more entertaining.
Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
But hey, we avoided talking about Lebron. So there is that.
Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
You know what they're gonna do?
Speaker 4 (01:02:59):
Man, what is he going to do?
Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
What's gonna happen to Brownnie?
Speaker 4 (01:03:02):
I don't know why here they have it.
Speaker 11 (01:03:04):
They have like a seat at the table in Cleveland
for Brownie, like they like, you leave a seat for
Jesus white guys on the Lakers though a lot of
people are.
Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
James.
Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
It's like, you know what that that guy is a
little too white. We can't bring in one more.
Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
Oh, he's the best center.
Speaker 11 (01:03:27):
But guys, he's the best center that's available, this guy
Walker Kessler. You know that's a great deal that you
could get a center like this now. But he's we
already got the two white guys. Steven has already said
something about it.
Speaker 5 (01:03:38):
Dang Petros, always appreciate it. You can get him on
axe at the Old.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
P How come Switzerland has black guys but Argentina.
Speaker 4 (01:03:47):
Does, no kidding money show those banks pay for a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
I thought it was just clockmakers chocolate.
Speaker 5 (01:04:02):
So there he is, the great Petross Papadacus with us
here on FSR.
Speaker 8 (01:04:07):
Thanks p all right, sign to thost Belgium soccer players.
Those those white guys were whooping our butt.
Speaker 4 (01:04:14):
Yeah they were.
Speaker 5 (01:04:15):
By the way, speaking of the World Cup, the Cup
knockout round is now in DraftKings as you covered for
every single match right now, use the promo code two
pros to claim your special offer at DraftKings again, that's
