Speaker 4 (01:02):
So without further ado, obviously we'll we'll talk a lot
of football. We've got divisional rounds coming up, we got
Feels taking on Denver. You know, we got we got
some other games taking place. But that's a big talk.
You know the bills in the Denver's game, so we'll
we'll get to that. But first, you know what what
we do routinely, we got to check in see.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
How everybody's feeling. How everybody's doing. Man, how y'all feeling? Man?
How's everything going? Well? LaVar?

Speaker 5 (01:30):
I know how mister Barrs is feeling because I have pictures.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Well for us, hey, for.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Us out here, it's been about seventy degrees. Wants to
wants the little shell of the morning, clear sky's palm
trees seventy degrees.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Man, I feel great.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
M hmm.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
I mean I feel great too. But we just snowed
in a little bit this weekend. You know, I think
we got one hundred chance of snow today, ninety five
chances of snow tomorrow, so it looks like, you know,
we're gonna be eating in all weekend. So you know,
with that being said, is nice and cozy got a
fireplace on talking to you fine gentlemen, and she's gonna enjoy,

(02:13):
just gonna enjoy the day.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Man, That's all I can do.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
All right, Well, I'll tell you what I saw, the
same sky that TJ saw this morning, so I won't
rub it in, but I'm feeling pretty good. I got
a little bit arrested, I will say, I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I gotta go on. I'm starting my journey with Penn.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
She's rocking the sticks doing some volleyball today, so I'll
be at the same place as Marley was when she
was doing volleyball all day long. So now the all
day loans after I get off the air with you
guys will again. Yeah you dig so yeah, man, let's
talk about before we get into the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
It looks as though, I mean, there are.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
A lot of big time names on the coaching coaches
circuit looking for jobs, but there's also a lot of
teams that are looking for coaches as well. And the
latest is it looks as though the Giants are going
to complete a deal with John Harball to become the
next head coach of this team. What's your guys' what's

(03:20):
your take on it? Do you think that this is
a good move by the Giants? Is this a good
move by John Harball, who seems to have a lot
of options on the table as to where he would
want to end up going to continue his coaching career.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
How you guys feel about it? I mean it got reported.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
I believe it was Wednesday that they had a struck
a deal with Harball. Obviously yesterday a little haggling over
a little small things. You know they're gonna finish this deal.
You can't report it and then and not get finished.
For Harball, it's a great deal. I mean, you're getting
twenty million year to coach, and so now these coaching
salaries are going through the roof, well deserved. All the

(04:02):
time that these coaches spend. I don't think people understand
how much time is spent just game planning day in,
day out, day after day, week after week, month after month,
year after year. These coaches spend a ton of time.
So that's well deserved for the Giants. From a football perspective,
giants need somebody that can stabilize their franchising, that organization.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
I believe that's what Harball is. He's a stabilizer.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
He's gonna make sure that guys are held accountable. The
guys know what they're doing, they know when to be,
where to be. They gonna be their own time. If
you're not gonna beat their own time, you're not gonna
play with Harball. Very simple, You're just not gonna play.
He's not going for any of that. And he you
play for Harrball.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Let's keep that in minute, right, you had personal experience
with this Harball.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
So if I text Harball right now, he'll text me
back within ten minutes.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I call him.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
He picking up the phone like he's just a good dude. Man,
he's a good dude. And coaching, like maybe he's not
doing this city longer because that I played for him,
it was almost fifteen longer than fifteen years ago. He
would put his hand in a dirting practice to show
stuff like all right, I want it done, and go
against the players. I remember one time he got put
on his pocket, so I was like, damn, is he hurt?

(05:17):
And he got right on up and he was good
and so for me, and the Giant is a great higher.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
On his y.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Everybody out there that didn't know his bocky, Sorry, okay,
got sat down.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
I just feel like going into this division now, from
a football perspective, it's not gonna be easy, man, It's
not gonna be easy. If the Eagles get the right
o C they gonna be a problem. The Cowboys with
these picks, all these high picks, they gonna be a
huge problem. They Man, they figure out this defense, it's

(05:53):
not even a defense the back end of the defense.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
With that offense, the offense did take a tremendous step
forward to the Cowboys are going to be a problem.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
And then just last year.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
Wasn't the Commanders in the NFC Championship game of game
from the Super Bowl? And so if Jade Daniels can
stay healthy, they gonna be a problem. So from a
football perspective, Harbor, it ain't like he took the path
of these resistance. I would have taken my butt down
to Old Atlanta. That's the path of least. But he
felt like I can do something with the Giants, and
so here he is.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
But I love to hire.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
From a football perspective, for John Harball, it's not gonna
be easy, right right.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
I mean just said, look, man, I'm here, and you
know everybody has been saying obviously, man, this is the
best coaching hire, you know since Tom Coughlin. And just
like TJ said, Man, he's going to come in here
and reset the foundation for this organization. He's going to
you know, he's going to get instant creditibility and respect
the day first day he walks in the building from

(06:53):
these players, and you know, I like it just because
he's just he's going to come in here and reset
the coaches to back to what they used to be.
Everybody know that John Harbar is a defensive minded coach.
I mean, you know, the New York Giants are basically
they're predicated on defense, and we haven't been good enough
in the last you know decade defensively almost to you know,

(07:16):
to be able to get this team, in this organization
back to prominence. And I think that he's going to
come in you know, he's going to hire his own
staff and he's going to try to rebuild.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
This team back.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
To being a competitive product, especially in the NFC East.
But uh, you know, he's won a super Bowl, he's
won six division championships. But it's like TJ said, I
don't believe it's going to be easy. You know, Philly, Washington, Dallas,
everybody's going to be getting better. But I just think
for this organization right now where they are, they just

(07:51):
need somebody to come in here and revitalize this team
because I mean, they have the pieces. I'm not really
overly excited about Todd Monkin becoming the office a coordinator,
but obviously you know him and Monk and have a
relationship playing in Baltimore. But for the New York Giants,
it's going to be can we can that offense get

(08:15):
to where they need to be with Jackson Dark and depends.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Okay, it's okay for you to say can we We
know you're a Giant, you can.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Say can you saying can we with the Lakers? And
you ain't shot one three point.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Screen nothing.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
I'm about Hey, I'm about to be at the gym
soon as the show. But my son got five games
this weekend.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Man, Yeah, he gonna be on them Lakers one day. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Anyway, I'll say this, I'll say this, and I want
to I wanted y'all's opinion on this. Am I wrong
for wondering? Is it more so because you talked about
how he is as a as a coach, because you
had him as a coach t J. Plus you're talking
about this being a good move as as a former
player and a legend to the organization of the New

(09:07):
York Giants. So we got both perspectives From an inside standpoint.
My biggest question would be that same guy that told
that owner of the New York Giants that it was
best to let say Kwon go and keep Daniel Jones.
It's still the general manager of this team, correct, Okay,

(09:31):
I'm just wondering and and the environment that you were
in in Baltimore.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
I feel like the reason why.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
You can be the type of coach that that John
Harball was in Baltimore is because of the stability of
the organization.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
That's That's what I would say.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Is that is that fair to say TJ like he
fit into the culture of what he came in because
Belichick was I mean not Belichick Billick. A lot of
people would give a lot of praise to Billick as being,
you know, obviously the founder, well heeds the second coach,
but maybe the founder of what Ozzie knew some put
in place as a GM. He was the coach that

(10:11):
came in and solidified it and then boom, now you
got Harball comes in same type of coach as Billick was.
At least a lot of people said that and continued
that my biggest question is can New York can their
decision makers get out of the way to allow a
John Harball to make a difference in this team and

(10:33):
in this organization. That's my biggest that's my biggest question.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
I don't know these people.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
I haven't been around since I left the Giants, so
I don't know who they are as people.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
But maybe you guys can shed light on that.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
This is the thing, LeVar is you got to understand
when Harball goes to the Baltimore Ravens, you have a
guy that knows exactly what he's doing. Obviously you're gonna
drave some guys and they're not gonna him. But Ozzie
Newsom was one of the best gems in the history
of football. Ozzie Knewsom steps downs and retires. Here comes

(11:07):
to Costa. He keeps it rolling because he had learned
under Ozzy. And so the Ravens from a draft developed
and getting their guys ready to go and all pros
and hat whatever they have it. They did a great
job at it. The Giants don't have that. And I
believe that this is the hold up. Harball wants to

(11:31):
be able to have more say because, with all due respect,
you ain't been doing a good job, correct you just
have Now he'll see I draft the elite neighbors. I
drafted Jackson Dark I drafted camp Scattaboo. I drafted Andrew Thomas,
so there's some guys there. He's done a good job
with drafting guys. But where he made the mistake was

(11:54):
was a sakwan Daniel Jones and that that was a mistake.
It played out on air. That's a pretty damn okay.
Why aren't they developing?

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Listen?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Is what I said.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
Why are you hiring Joe Judge to be your coach?
Why are you hiring and he didn't do this, but
why are you hiring Ben McAdoo, Like, huh, what what
are you guys doing? You guys are hiring guys be
a head coach? That are you kidding? Like if you
look at the list of the Giants head coaches before Hardball,

(12:25):
you'll say what outside outside of Brian Dable, Brian Dabele
and he didn't work. But Brian Dable was the only
one that I felt like he had he earned it,
I guess you would say, right right, like he was
he give them to the playoffs and his coaches he

(12:48):
was a good he was. He was a good coach.
But when you when you start looking at it, it
was like what are we doing? We're going after Coughlin,
Ben McAdoo, spack now all only got one year.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Then you heard then you go Joe Judge like it's like,
what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Understand it? That's great?

Speaker 5 (13:05):
And so then showing comes in they Brian Dayball. I
thought that was a great hire. Obviously it didn't work out,
but they're gonna have to get on the same page
on how they want to do things when it comes
to player development retaining players, because if you don't do that,
all this don't matter.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
You're around it.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Got a relationship with the owners. What's your perspective.

Speaker 6 (13:27):
You talk about you know, uh delvau was talking about,
can the decision makers you know get this right for
hallbar everybody knows what kind of style defense that John
Harball wants to run. It's gonna be a pressure style defense.
Are you going to give him the pieces or let
him get his pieces so he can you know, maximize
the potential of this current football team. I think that's

(13:49):
the biggest thing, you know, for you don't think.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
He already has it up front for pressure? I don't
believe so. I think that I think we need we
need to get better offense line. Obviously, wide receivers, we
do have Abdue called up? Maybe he can you know,
step his game up next year.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
We have.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
One of the lines on football and that's the Lord
and that Burns.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Yeah, Brian Burns, and I love him, I love him.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
But what I'm saying is can he get the the
production out of these guys when for the reason that
they came to this football team. That's what's been hurting
the Giants over the past decade is that all these
draft picks and these guys that they bought him, why
haven't they been developed as players? And you see you

(14:38):
see players leave here and go to other teams and
have success, and you say to yourself, why aren't they
being developed over here? Uh in New York. So I
think that's gonna be the biggest fact of moving forward
with the Giants is we got to find a way
to get these players to go out and perform. And
it comes down to coaching. And like I said, I

(15:00):
think it's the best coach that we've had over the
since since since Coughland left. But we just got to
get these players to go out and perform on Sundays.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
I'll say this, if this coach and higher and when
it gets done and it is official. If John Harbaugh
doesn't have the autonomy to be able to do what
he needs to do to build the team the way
he needs to build it. Now, the bigger question has
to be it has to turn to the front office
and what do you do there? Because there's no more
I said this about Washington so many times, there's no

(15:30):
more coaches you can go out there and get where
you can justify that the last one wasn't good at it,
you know.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
I think that's where we're at with it, you.

Speaker 6 (15:37):
Know, And I will say this, I really honestly believe,
and this is my I really honestly believe that if
Mike Tomlin would have been fired before John Harball, I
think they would have took either or Mike Tomlin or
Jim Harball to be their hair coach.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
I really believe that.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
Well, you know, I've seen some rumors out there. I
don't know how true that is me because we just
got to see how that all plays out.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Out.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
He might be taking a break for different reasons other
than anyway.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
We're going to take a break in. We're not going
to go down that lane because we don't know if
it's true or not yet. We're going to talk Bills
and Denver, and the Bills have to go to Denver
to go get it done. This is going to be
an interesting tilt and TJ and Plex are going to
be here myself, We're going to be here to talk
about it. On the other side of this break, it's
up on game. It's Fox Sports Radio. We shall return

(16:33):

in the next segment, obviously about the Bills in Denver.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
The Bills have to travel to Denver.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
How much of that does it play a part in
them being able to have success?

Speaker 2 (16:52):

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Make sure you get you some.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
That's Louisiana Hot, the original Louisiana Hot.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Make sure you buy you some.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Fellas, speaking of tailgate food, we got the Bills taking
on the Broncos today. Obviously the Broncos and my estimation,
had one of the most improbable seasons playing.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
As well as they did.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Are a lot of conversations, questions, criticisms on Sean Payton
coming in early.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
You know.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
Obviously things not kind of working out going to well
that people anticipated. With Russell Wilson, he gets rid of them,
incomes a late first round draft pick, and bow Knicks.
A lot of people had questions about him. A lot
of people still have questions about bow Knicks. And yet
and still here we are. They have a home game,

(20:26):
top team in the AFC perceivably, and they have a big,
big matchup against the Bills, which I think we all
know this is a Josh Allen year to win the
Super Bowl, almost like a Super Bowl or Bus year
for the Buffalo Bills. Mc dermott as well, how do
you guys see this game? How do you see it
playing out? What's at stake? Care what's y'alls take on it?

Speaker 5 (20:50):
This is a tough game to figure out what will
take place. Obviously, the Broncos number one team in the FS,
your first playoff game, you're rested. The Bills. They come
through with a horror fought game last week. Man, you
played the Jags. I thought the Jags were gonna beat them.

(21:11):
Obviously I was wrong about that. That run defense for
the Bills have the number one pass blocking offensive line
in the league, number one. And so from that perspective,
what will the elevation will be?

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Will that be a factor?

Speaker 5 (21:29):
How will the Broncos in their second year now under
Sean Payton react to be in this situation? You're the favorite,
you are the home team, second year, really young team,
not just not just quarterback, a really young team. And
so for me, when you say who can win this game?
I truly feel like if the Bills won last week,

(21:53):
which they did, this gotta be the year there's no
Pat Mahomes, there's no Lamar Jackson, there's no Joe Burrow
in these playoffs. This gotta be the year that Josh
Allen finally gets to the super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
It got to be.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
What other year will we see those three guys not
in the playoffs all at the same time, and so, well,
it better be the year if you Josh Shalen and
you the Buffalo Bills, this better be the year that
he finally gets over the hump and gets into the
super Bowl, because you're not going to get seasons where

(22:35):
those three guys aren't in the playoffs. And then you
got the younger guys coming up in the Drake Mays
and the CJ. Strauds that it's just gonna get harder
and harder.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Year every year.

Speaker 5 (22:46):
And so this has to be Josh sh Allen in
the Buffalo Bill's year.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
I know everybody's been saying the same thing, man, it
has to be Josh Allen's your no Patrick Mahomes, no
Lamar Jackson, and I'm listen, listen, uh no, Josh Allen
at this moment. I think he has to seize this
moment because you're looking at Denver. I think Denver's a
really talented football team. We're gonna find out what bow

(23:15):
Knicks is all about if they can pull off this
Wednesday against the Buffalo Bills. But it's gonna be a
tough game, man. Uh what I think the uh the
offense offense for for Denvers with ranked fourteen, going against
a really good defense, and I just don't know. I

(23:36):
couldn't pick who will win the football game just because
both of these defenses are really good. I just think, uh,
you know, the inexperience of both Knicks. I think we're
gonna see him make some mistakes and uh, but we're
gonna see today if Josh Allen can find a way
to get it done. Uh in Denver. I'm oning to

(23:56):
in Denver. We talked about last week as far as
home fielders, Van just concerned Denver. Denver is a tough
place to play. I'm going to. I haven't won a
game there, so it's gonna be rowdy by myself too.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
You want out by yourself, war them out. We had
to score some points, but I tell you what, I
was thumping it just it just goes back to what
we always talk about coaching. And you know Sean Payton
and him being the quarterback whisper. He couldn't get Russell
Wilstlon in the right path in Denver. But I don't
think really nobody expected for bow Knicks to come in

(24:28):
and to have the season that he has had for
them being ranked number one. I believe in the AFC
home fill advantage throughout. So it's gonna be a tough
game today. It's really gonna be a tough game.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
But if I had to hang my hat on it,
I would I would say that defensively, when it comes
down to making plays, I believe that Sean McDermott is
gonna draw up something that Bowl Knicks has not.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Scene.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
It's gonna be a tight game, man, It's really gonna
be a tight game. But I'm gonna take Buffalo wow.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
Because see, I think it's all about Denver's defense and
how good they are and what they bring to the table.
I feel like, outside of Houston, Denver, their defense is
to me, the most complete defense, and I think that's
a large reason why they're in the position that they're
in right now.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Look at it this way.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
A lot of people, there's been a lot of conversations
guys about game managing quarterbacks and game changing quarterbacks, and
now think about it, a lot of these quarterbacks that
win championships, they're game managing quarterbacks. They're not game changers.
And we considered Josh Allen to be a game changing quarterback.
I almost feel like that description almost works against Josh

(25:49):
Allen and it almost works against the Buffalo Bills in
terms of looking at this team as being a favorite
to go get it. They just don't win championships. But
you know who done? You know what wins championships. Defense,
defense stills wins championship. Maybe biased and saying that because
I'm a defender, former defensive but I do believe that

(26:10):
when I look at these teams, Buffalo has a nice defense,
they have a nice football team. They've battled through injuries
and they still found the way to find solid ground
on what they're able to do. But this Denver Broncos defense, Listen,
I think that nasty.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Man. I think this nasty defense is nasty.

Speaker 6 (26:28):
I agree with you defensively, but I just think that
right now, the Denver Broncos are going to try to
get out for Josh Allen. But just like you said,
he's a game changing quarterback. He is going to make
some players getting out of sacks and getting out of
the podcact that the Denver Broncos have not seen. So
when I look at it from your perspective, I just

(26:51):
think Josh Allen is going to be able to make
some plays that other quarterbacks can't make. And he's the
best quarterback in the playoffs that le Broncos are going
to see in my opinion, and he is going to
be the game changer. Might work for the Buffalo Bills
in this game.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
I'm telling it might work against The.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Defense wins championships. It used to, It used to, it
used to.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
For real, though, how good with y'all's defense on that
high school team you had?

Speaker 3 (27:23):
That was the reason we won.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
But I'm gonna tell I'm gonna it was sound, but hey, Plexico,
but our receiver was going to hold. Hey, he was
going for he was going for ten catchers for two
hundred and ninety yards in the game though, ten catches,
our receiver ten catches two hundred and ninety yards. Who
are playing again? Let me say this about the National

(27:47):
Football League. Defense wins championships, right, defense wins championships.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
This is what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
When I watched game Okay, I watched the Eagles Niners game.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
The defense that's that defense should have been.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
But this, this is the point I'm making. This is
just me.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
I don't root for the Eagles, I don't root for
the Niners. I didn't care who won that game. I
saw five holding calls against the San Francisco offensive line
that they didn't get called truth and what did not
get called touchdown play It didn't get called true, it
did not, it did not get caught. They were obvious.
I saw one when Jalen Carter got held. He literally
walked up to the ref and was like this, literally

(28:26):
you can read his lips.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
He's holding me.

Speaker 5 (28:28):
There's no flags being thrown being thrown, and so defense
can win championships. But these dudes are getting held so
much they not calling it. They can't block them, they
can't block them, so they not calling these holding calls anymore.
Like when I watched that game, I'm like, oh, that's
holding right, no flag, that's holding, no flag. And so

(28:50):
they are letting offenses in the offensive line get away
with so much.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
How can a defense win a championship?

Speaker 2 (29:00):
That's interesting.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
We're going to make our picks obviously up on game
down on game, but I tell you what I'm thinking.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
It's just me.

Speaker 4 (29:10):
I'm thinking being a playmaker as a quarterback, it tends
to backfire on teams, and it tends to backfire on
a team when you're going up against a defense that's
ranked number one in sacks, number seven in passing defense,
number two in rushing defense, number three in points allowed,
and number.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
Two in total defense.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
That is a daunting task when you have a quarterback
that at times doesn't seem to have a go to
receiver and at times mister sometimes does not show up
to the table to put cards on the table.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
That's all I'm Khalil Chakour is a go to receiver
in this offense with Josh Allen, every doubt about it.
Every game you can get open man, whatever the case
may be. He is going to be the go to
guy for Josh Allen on the edge. Believe believe me
when I tell you I mean all of those stats

(30:09):
that you just spit out about the Denver Broncos. It
is on paper, but they are playing against the best
quarterbacks in the football, who was playing the best brand
of football right now, and Josh Allen. So I will
throw all of those stats out of the window just
because of who they're playing against Josh Allen. That may

(30:31):
matter to a young I don't know, Drake may or
Daniel Jones or whoever you want to talk about, but
he's a different breed of cat Man. He's not going
to be, you know, taking down easy sacks. He's going
to be getting out of his pocket, breaking tackles, making
plays and that's gonna drive the Denver Broncos defense crazy

(30:53):
in my estimation.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
All right, man, well we'll see. I don't know, man,
I'm interested to see it's end then. Like I said,
I do believe that home field advantage exists in this one.
Sean Payton, Sean Payton is is to me, he's one
of those guys, him and his staff, they come up
with great game plans. I think it's going to be
just about as much about coaching in this game as

(31:16):
as well. McDermott is is a good a good coach,
has been a solid coach. But Sean Payton has experience,
He's been there, he's He's coached really great teams. Bro
I give the advantage to to Denver on the coaching
staff as well. I just think this is going to
be an interesting game to watch and we'll give our
picks at the end of the show.

Speaker 6 (31:34):
But and been ultimate and they have the ultimate home
field of bentage because you can't breathe out there.

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Can't breathe your boy could just play because it was
too high up in there. You know, we can't breathe
up in there. This is the real deal, trust me. Well,
speaking of the real deal, let's get a trending from
our guy, mister Isaac Loewing from because well, he gives
us that that business, he gives us that.

Speaker 8 (31:59):
Huge what ga Hello LeVar, and we'll start with the
results of us.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
You were you were nice to me this time. But
second now, you just I had just brushed me out.

Speaker 8 (32:08):
I have no idea what I have no idea what
you're talking about?

Speaker 4 (32:10):
You know, say TJ plex you know you see I
just now right see he sell us out in a
second hour though.

Speaker 8 (32:18):
But god, I have that guys, I don't know what's
wrong with LeVar today.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
He seems to be.

Speaker 8 (32:24):
I wouldn't I treat my coworkers all with equal respect?

Speaker 2 (32:28):
You know that?

Speaker 8 (32:29):
And before I was so rudely interrupted, I was getting
ready to reveal the results of a Fox Sports radio investigation.
It turns out that TJ actually undersold it. My man
actually ten catches for two hundred and ninety three yards.
This is this is amazing what this guy did. One
hundred Yeah, in a cif championship game against a really

(32:53):
really good program at Centennial High School in Corona. Guy
had one hundred and sixty eight yards from scrimmage and
two touchdowns on the first quarter alone, man.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
In highest level high school football.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
Yeah, that's a highest level and for sure across the country.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
Across the country.

Speaker 8 (33:11):
Yeah, absolutely, And that game, that game was played at
the Rose Bowl, we might add and moy so good,
good for you, TJ Man. You and Carson Palmer have
a have a deal going there down there with the
Santa Margherite Eagles. Speaking of coaching, guys, let's hope.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Our ways that let me co coach gohead go ahead, good.

Speaker 8 (33:29):
I think that would be a great idea. Need some announcing,
we can we can all go down that's right, change
their name to the Santa Margarita Fox Foxes. Anyway, let's
hop on the coaching carousel, the Raiders will interview former
Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel for their head coaching
job on Monday, Raiders we'll be holding a second interview

(33:50):
with Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator a Jaro Avero. Falcons having
a second interview with former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski
for their head coaching job. The Browns interviewed Jack and
Bill Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Yudinsky for their head coaching job.
At Udinsky just turned thirty and would become the youngest
head coach in NFL history if he gets a head

(34:10):
coaching job this cycle coming up at four thirty eastern. Indeed,
it'll be the Buffalo Bills visiting the Denver Broncos tonight
at eight eastern, it's the Seahawks hosting the forty nine Ers.
Sam Darnold, the Seattle quarterback, questionable because of an oblique injury.
And finally, guys, as many people know, fans at the
Seahawks home stadium, Loomenfield, known for being so loud it
can literally shake the ground. Well, the Pacific Northwest Seismic

(34:34):
Network announced that they have deployed six seismometers at Loominfield
for tonight's game to specifically measure the fans reactions on
the Richter scale, which can be tracked on social media.
It's going to be almost as wonderful an atmosphere as
a party at Levar's house.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
Back to you, thank you, sir, appreciate that update. Allo
we're going to take a quick break. On the other side,
we're going to talk about that Seahawks game. Uh yeah,
it's going to be loud, and it's going to be
a lot of.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Football being played. This is up on game. It's Fox
Sports Radio. TJ.

Speaker 4 (35:08):
Hichman is out of Plexico Burgs. I'm LaVar Arrington. We
shall return. All right, listen up, y'all. The big game
is almost here. The league's best players, they're gonna line
it up and they're gonna go up against each other
head the head.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
These players are made.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
Of grit, drive, and a whole lot of heart. Well
you know what, the original Louisian and hot sauce. It's
made us some really really good stuff too, and some
of it well, it's three simple ingredients peppery peppers, vinegary vinegar,
and salty salt. They blend together to make that type
of sauce that changes games in need, I say, changes lives.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
Use it just to dress up your wings, your pizza,
even gumbo. You can use it on whatever it is
that you want to use it on. Because everything is
going to slow down just the same. You're gonna watch
impossible plays just look so easy. And then there's something
just about it you can't quite put your finger on,
but man, when it hits your tongue, you know what

(36:06):
I'm talking about. All right, and listen, it's by you, beautiful.
It's the original Louisiana Hot sauce. They've had this championship
pedigree for almost one hundred years and it's got no
signs of slowing down.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
People.

Speaker 4 (36:18):
Will it ever be a Louisiana legacy? This delicious? Again,
I doubt it. So make sure you get in on it.
Go check it out your grocery store. Get it on like,
get it delivered to the crib whatever it is, however
it did you get your groceries. Just add some original
Louisiana Hot sauce to it because it's made of that
championship stuff.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Yeah. I already told you Pepper's vinegar.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
Salt, that's Louisiana Hot, but the original Louisiana Hot sauce.
Make sure you buy you some, all right, everybody, Welcome

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Coming up in the next hour, we'll have Cuffs the
Legend coming on from that some Dude show. You know,
that's always a bunch of fun when the guys are
all together. But right now, fellas, let's let's finish out
the hour talking about this Seattle Seahawks versus the forty
nine ers today. What's y'all gut feeling on this matchup?

(37:37):
Because it just seemed like San fran has done everything
that they possibly can to maximize what.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
They don't have and what they do have to get
as far as they have.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
Does the clock run out on that tonight against this
Seattle team or today?

Speaker 2 (37:55):
Man?

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Was it last game of the season?

Speaker 7 (37:58):
Right?

Speaker 5 (37:58):
They played with the division on the line, yes, yeah,
and smoke.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Them and what they couldn't block them up front?

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Man?

Speaker 5 (38:06):
The Niners and I know Trent Williams didn't play. They
could not block the Seahawks front. The Sea I don't
know if the Seahawks just kind of have a beat
on what they're doing. I thought the defense of the
Niners played well considering the circumstances the offense put him
in without George Kittle playing. Now, how can you look

(38:29):
at that last game and say, oh, I like the
Niners to win this game.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
How can you?

Speaker 5 (38:34):
That's why the Seahawks are the biggest favorite of the
weekend seven point favorites because of the way that game
went last game of the regular season. It's gonna be
tough at least for me to pick the Niners when
I look at it and I go back and reflect
to that last game. But I'll say this, I believe

(38:57):
the Seahawks may I mean the Seahawks. The Niners may
have the best combination of offensive play calling defensive play
calling in the left in the playoffs, with Shanahan calling
the offense and Robert Salad calling the defense. On this
defense side of the ball, they've lost all their good players,
their best two players, and they're still very good. But

(39:18):
I think just at some point a team is better,
and I believe this may be a team that has
theird never there. The Seahawks is just a better team.

Speaker 6 (39:27):
Man, based off of what I saw in the last
game of the season. Man, just like TJ, he just said,
they couldn't block them boys up front, man DeMarcus Lawrence,
Lyndon Williams. Man, they just went up, straight up and
got after the San Francisco forty nine ers at home.
And when I say at home, brock Perty throws for

(39:47):
one hundred and twenty seven yards and CMC has twenty.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
Three yards rushing. That's a problem.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
And now everybody, I'm looking at the game today, just
like TJ just said, how can you with expect the
Sanranisco forty nine is to be even any better than
they were on the last game of the season. With
everything at stake, all you had to do was find
a way to win the football game, and you have
home field vanished throughout. But it looked like to me

(40:16):
that Seattle went in there was something to prove. They
were faster on defense, they were better on offense. And
if you're Kyle Shanahan, I know it has to sting
because everybody calls you an offensive minded football coach and
you don't even score a touchdown in your own stadium.

Speaker 6 (40:36):
So I know that has to sting a little bit.
If you're brock Perty and you're that offense and now
that you're minus of George Kittle, Trenton Wims is going
to be back. But I really don't think that makes
a difference because I just think that Seattle is playing
the best football in the NFL right now in the playoffs,
and you're looking at this offense. Man, everybody was saying

(40:59):
when Sam Donald left, why would you leave? In offense?
And Kevin O'Connell, Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson. Nobody expects
for him to go over there and to play the
way that he's playing. They can run the football with
Kenneth Walker, Junior Sharburney and from the wide receiver standpoint, man,
this kid JSN man. When I heard Garrett Wilson and

(41:23):
Chris o'larvae when they asked him how good this young
man was, and both of those guys said that, man,
he's better than all of us. He's talking about seventeen
hundred yards, ten touchdowns. Those are Antonio Brown type numbers,
and that is how he is affecting the football game.

(41:44):
At six feet He's dominating football games. Not in size,
but it's just the way that he plays the game.
So you put all that together with that defense, the
way that they all able to run the football, and
this man can't be guard at one on one, you're
going to have to double them. So Seattle, I think
that they're playing the best football right right now.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
And the forty nine ers, they just got the forty niners.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Number, and that's Jackson Smith and.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
Jigba everybody that he was just speaking on, just so
everybody is clear on that he is a bad man majama.
And the Seattle teams they are bad man majamma too,
but God lead them. Forty nine ers with less have
been some bad man majammas too, So I guess we're
just gonna have a bad man Majama versus bad man
Majama game today, and you know what's gonna be fun
to watch. And I'm gonna be here and then the

(42:34):
guys are gonna be here next week to tell you
all about how we felt about it. But we're gonna
take a quick break on the other side of the break,
you know, hour two, we bring cuffs into the fold
and we're gonna keep talking. We got Miami, Indiana to
talk about, and a couple more things as well. Just
stay tuned, all right, This is up on Game. It's
Fox Sports Radio. Yeah, take a quick break, we'll be

(42:55):
right back, all right, Hour two coming at you.
