some fireworks taking place. Just when you thought that well,
teams couldn't get better based off of what the free

(01:03):
agency class was looking like this year. Trades are taking place,
Big trades are taking place. We're going to get in
all of those topics. Basketball, we got cuffs coming on
an hour two. We got a lot to get to

how you feeling DJ?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
How?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
How was how was Indy? How was the the Combine?
How has the travels? It seems like you've been on
the move quite a bit? How are things? Man been great?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Man? The combine is always a great time. I already
know a lot of the players at attend and you
obviously meet more players. But yeah, it feels like I
ain't been on the show in a while, so I
can't wait for this show. But you know what it
is outside, man looking good. It's about seventy five degrees already,

(02:27):
kind of cloud in the sky, a little slight wind
about three miles an hour. But other than that, man,
he's great out here.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Maybe good to go, that's got that's good man, all right.
Plus may be joining us on the show today. That
might be something technical or whatever going on, but let's
jump into it.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Man.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Obviously, the big news that has hit is that the
Ravens send two first round draft picks to the Raiders
four to do drum roll, Yeah, Max Crosby, the all pro,
the cornerstone franchise player, the face of the well, formerly

(03:10):
known as the face of the Las Vegas Raiders, is
now heading to Baltimore. Now, what's your first reaction to this?
Knowing all of the conversations that have been surrounding actually
both teams.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
This. You know what this tells me that you know,
of the organizations and the teams that are really serious
about winning. That's what this tells me. The Ravens could
have sat on their hands, because they're in a lot
better situation than a lot of these teams. They could
have sat on their hands, and they didn't. They went

(03:48):
out there and said, you know what, man, this dude
is available. Yeah, our first round pick this year is
pretty high. Believe it's the fourteenth pick with Max Crosby
on our team. In a healthy roster next year, were
picking at the bottom of the first round, so that's
really a second round pick. So yeah, we're gonna go
ahead and make this deal for yours younger than Michael Parsons. Yeah,
we don't care. We're gonna make this deal because he's
gonna be a difference maker. And so I applaud the

(04:10):
Ravens because it's too many teams in this league. They
sit on their hands out. We want to keep our
first round draft pick, and then that first round draft
pick is straight ass. So you you would trade that
first round draft pick and another pick for Crosby once
you see your pick is trash. And so I really
applaud the Ravens. I feel sorry for Joe Burrow. I do,

(04:32):
because you gotta go against Max Crosby twice, you gotta
go against Miles Garrett twice, you gotta go against t J.
Watt twice, and then who they gotta go against on
your side, Joe, I digress. We're not talking about that,
but the Ravens. Great job.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
The let your boy go. Yeah, if y'all y'all had
an ad y'all had a book in ad Rusher too, y'all,
y'all want.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
And this is what I'm saying, that the Ravens they
going after it, man.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
And you can you imagine if he ended up in Baltimore?
Can you imagine that?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I mean, nothing was surprised up in Baltimore.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Honestly, Leavar, I really thought that Max Crosby would end
up with the Chicago Bears because Caleb Williams is on
a rookie contract, yep, and you get a Bears, a
legitimate pass rusher that you know, if they don't doubling.
He putting up twelve to fifteen sacks of season, maybe more.
That's what I That's why I really thought he was

(05:32):
going I thought he was going to be a Chicago Bear.
But it just goes to show you, man, the Ravens
are serious about winning. That's just what it is. Steve
Bushati is. He's serious, very simple, he's serious. He gives
his guys the authority to go make moves that they
feel can help him win, and they go do it.

(05:54):
And so shout out to Da Costa, the GM Bashadi,
the owner of the team. Man Ravens one of the
top of the line organizations in the league, not even close.
National Football League fotball is just so fun and this
upcoming season is gonna be very interesting. The Ravens, they
they kind of faltered last year. They not they not

(06:17):
gonna just sit pat, stand pat and say ah nah.
And so they ready to go. And you look at
the Raiders. They're building for the future. We assume they're
gonna draft Mendozo and now they have a ton of
picks to build for the future. And so if they
hit on seventy percent of these picks, the Raiders may
be back.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Okay. So the Ravens departed from John Harball, long tenured
coach for them, had a great amount of success, great
run with the Ravens. They went eight to nine. This
past year, it was a very less than impressive year.
They went backwards. Some some have called in the question

(06:57):
what they feel about Lamar Jackson moving forward. I don't
know how you could do that, but I guess you
could maybe potentially question if you were going to try
to find criticism. Maybe the health concerns could be potentially there,
the practice, the buy in, I don't know, I feel
like you might be splitting hairs on that one. But

(07:19):
they bring in Mentor Mentor to be the new head
coach of this team with the idea that he can
pull together this offense and make it a better team. Obviously,
they were disappointing on the defensive side of the ball,
and this certainly is a move that definitively makes this

(07:44):
defense better. But I believe they have more holes to fill.
I mean, I'm curious as to what they will do
at the receiver's position because Jay Flower seems to be
the only dependable receivers on this roster. Bateman is to me,
I felt like he could be more than what he

(08:06):
has has been and a more a bigger contributor to
the team. But it just doesn't seem like they have
what they need at that receiver's position. Obviously, it'd be
interesting to see if Derek Henry, at his age and
at his size, can continue to be a dominant factor
on the offensive side. But make no mistake about it,

(08:26):
they got better on the defense side. One big note
before we bring plex into the conversation. One note is
Tyler Linderbaum. Will they be able to bring him back?
Will they be able to resign him? I know he
didn't take the offer that they've initially put in front
of him, and he's testing the market to see what's
out there value wise. But I mean, i'd have to say,

(08:49):
and you could take it from here, Plex, I'd have
to say that is probably even more important than landing
a guy like Max Crosby in free agency, by being
able to sign their center who could be the best
center in the league right now in Tyler Linderbaum.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
What you got, Plex, Now, I think it's a good
overall move by Baltimore. Man trying to boast of that defense.
I mean, everybody knows what Baltimore is built off of.
They built off of running the football and being able
to stop running on the other side, and they just
they just weren't able to do that. Last year, the
defense was ranked twenty fourth in the NFL. I don't
think we ever have ever seen a Baltimore Raven defense ranked,

(09:30):
you know, ranked that low. And you know, you're bringing
Max Crosby, just like TJ said, you know Vegas they
are you know, they are rebuilding. I mean, that's just
what they're doing. I think it's a good move on
both sides. But for the Raiders to bring back Crosby
the way things ended last year, I think this was
the best move for everybody because I don't really believe

(09:51):
that he really wanted to go back and play in
Las Vegas, especially after they handled his situation at the
end of the year last year. But man, it's exciting
now you got I believe it's the best top three
defensive ends in one division, Miles Garrett, T J. Watt,

(10:13):
and now Max Crobs you add him into the fold. Man.
So it's gonna be a lot of fun to watch
for Baltimore. Obviously they have a whole new coaching staff
in there, and you know, we're just gonna have to
see how it goes with Baltimore because we at the
end of the day, we all know, we all know
where the where whether the blame is going to fall.
It's not going to be on the head coach, It's

(10:34):
not going to be on the defense everybody. Everything is
going to fall on the shoulders of Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
So so I.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Think the Ravens, you know, they made a good move
bout bringing them in.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
All right, there's been criticisms. I heard Jim Rome, he
had some strong words about about Tom Brady. What what's
what's should the viewpoint? What's should advantage point? Tom Brady
being a part of this this ownership group with with
the Raiders. Now, how how should this be viewed moving forward?

(11:08):
I heard y'all say rebuild is this and I think
you guys both said this is a win situation for
UH for the Raiders getting the draft picks that they're getting.
How how are we viewing tom Brady's impact is it?
Is it too early to say what that is right now?
Or can you say definitively by the move you're seeing

(11:30):
take place? Obviously it looks as though they'll take Fernando
Mendoza with the first overall pick. Do you think that
the Raiders potentially are going in the right direction? They
just released Geno Smith as as the quarterback, the starting
quarterback of this team. They also have a new coach
after letting Pete Carroll go. What's to take and how

(11:50):
much criticism will go Tom Brady's way if this doesn't
work out Because a lot of people were really really
high on on I mean, you know, Raiders fans high
on on Max Crosby as their guy.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
We listen, the Raiders need some stability you go from
They just keep firing coaches like you need some stability,
you need some leadership. We don't know how much input
Brady has he owned something, he owns such a small
percent of the team, it's easy to point the finger
at time and say, oh, he's calling the shots. And

(12:27):
if he is, okay, this is gonna take three to
four years down the road before we have any idea
what this means. And because with these first round picks,
you're gonna give them at least two years to say, okay,
he's a guy. Ah, they missed on this pick, and
so we don't know. When the Raiders traded Killel Mack

(12:49):
to the Chicago Bears, the Bears won that because the
guys that the Raiders got from that them dudes. You
wouldn't trade them dudes three years later for Lil Mack.
You wouldn't do it. They weren't good enough. And so
they're gonna have to hit on these draft picks. Mendoz
Is gonna have to be that guy, and if they aren't,

(13:09):
then the criticism is going to come. But to say
what it is now, you just don't know. And we
don't know Tom Brady's impact. We assume he has some input,
but is he the final decision maker? I would say no,
and I would hope that isn't the case because he's
not studying these guys and going through all the research
like he should be to be making these type of

(13:30):
decisions when it comes to who we gonna draft. And
so we hired these people to do their job. Just
let the people that really put the time and effort
into it, let them do their job.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Hmm.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
Like you get the last time, Tom Brady's going to
get all the credit. That's just how it's going to go.
Is he gonna take some blame? I think he's gonna
get all the credit because I believe that for Fernando
Mendoz is the real deal. I really do. And if
you're this new coaching staff coming into Las Vegas, they
know that they need pieces to get better and and

(14:04):
they had the best boggaining chip that they had and
Max and Max Krugby was the casualty be Because of that,
they are in at They are in a total rebuild
is what they are in. They know what they need.
They know that if they want to compete in this
AFC UH the AFC West, they're going to have to
continue to get better and it's going to start with

(14:25):
a franchise quarterback. I believe he's going to be that
good and now you get another two first round picks.
I just think that you know, everything that moving forward
for the Raiders, they are moving in the right direction,
and of course Tom Brady's making all the decisions. You
don't think that he's not.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
If he is, the Raiders aren't going anywhere. Why would
you say that, is he putting in the time? Plex you?

Speaker 4 (14:55):
I would assume So how I would assume that he's
putting in the time. I mean, I don't. I don't
think they're gonna put him in. Put him in, put
him in the position that he is in, uh, Mark
Davis bringing him in if he's not going to have uh,
you know, of his a foot at the table making decisions.
So I believe that he's a one hundred percent you know,

(15:17):
making making making exiscisions for this organization. HM.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
I think it's it could be debatable in terms of
how much bandwidth he has to put into the amount
of time, But then there's always those outliers that can
get it done and do it in a way that
is maybe not considered to be the most traditional way
or approach to doing it. I mean, I guess we're
going to find out and I just wonder will it

(15:43):
will any real information surface of how much involvement you know,
Tom really does have. But it'll be interesting to see
how this this franchise moves forward, especially with having the
number one pick and Mendoza looming to becoming a Las

(16:04):
Vegas Raider. So we'll talk about that, and Hey, congrats
to the Ravens, because I don't think it's up for debate.
You've become a better team now with adding Max Crosby.
And congrats to Mac Crosby because he's going to a
team that has pretty much been a stable, stable franchise,
a gold standard franchise. Gives him an opportunity to win

(16:27):
and not continue to waste his talent on a team
that doesn't know what direction is up or down. Sorry,
it could be a little shade, but maybe the truth.
And speaking of shade, is there time for some shade
to be going Kansas City's way. They just made an
interesting trade and losing one of their key cornerbacks. We'll

(16:49):
talk about that and more. A lot to get to
this is up on game that's t J. Huschman's out,
Its Plexico Burst. I'm LeVar Arrington and yeah, we'll be

what that potential or imminent letting go, releasing of Kyler

(18:31):
Murray represents. Viking's name is popping up as the lead
forgetting it. We'll get to that. I'd be remiss if
I didn't ask you ToJ being on on site, boots
on the ground, the level of respect that you command
from people around the league and in the industry. Did
you hear anything on the ground obviously? This has been

(18:53):
an interesting approach leading into the new league season with
trades already hitting. We're going to touch on the Kansas
City Chiefs. They they traded, you know, their cornerback and
Trent McDuffie, who is a quality of fine cornerback that
that Kansas City. I don't see how you let him

(19:16):
get away, but it did happen. Did you hear anything
on site at the combine while you were there? That
was a note of mentioning now.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
When when you when you're at the combine. Obviously I
felt like I'm a people person, uh, and so I
talked to plenty of people. But it's a lot of
it really is focused on what do you think about
this player? Really, the players at the combine. That's when
when I talked to president's teams, general managers, and I've

(19:49):
spoken to a few of them at the combine, it
really is about the players there. Now, you know, we'll
talk about like what's going on in the organization, and
I'm opinionated, so I'll give my opinion, and if they
don't want my opinion given, they just kind of move
the subject to something else, you know, And so it

(20:11):
really stays on the players who are like free agents
that they are interested in what do I think of
said player? And so just kind of picking my brain
on what I think, giving them my opinion.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Give us always just give us one. Who you got
an opinion on? Come on, will you give us one? Yeah,
you got an opinion on? Is it a receiver? It?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Like, mainly it's guys that I've worked with that may
be coming as a free agent and what I think
of them, and I give an honest opinion, Like I don't.
I'm not gonna sit up there and lie to somebody
because I trained a guy and I feel if I
trained somebody and I feel like he's not that good,

(20:56):
I'm gonna say it if I feel like he's not
a good person. I'm saying I'm not lying for none
of these dudes, because who you are is who you are.
A lie for you, they believe me, They'll never listen
to a word I say. And so I'm always honest
with them, forthright with them. Yeah, I'll leave it at that.

(21:16):
Well yeah, yeah, wait, wait, well I don't know what
happened Stick City though.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Okay, I'm I'm there. Uh okay, So with with all
of those things that being said and where we're at,
let's talk about the Rams are giving up their picks
and are made the trade to get cornerback. Trent mcduffy.
I think this makes the Rams a better team.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
They needed that that help in their secondary That was
maybe one of the the points of concern for them,
and how close that they were able to get and
you saw their defense kind of they held it together there,
really strong up front, but needed help on the back
end of the defense and saw that against Seattle. But

(22:06):
this to me is a bigger conversation about the Kansas
City Chiefs. Chiefs fellas and what does this signify there
there that you know you're best player. We don't know
what he's going to be next year, right coming off
of a late late season ACL injury. You know, Chris
Jones has been a staple and a cornerstone of this defense,

(22:29):
the defense for for what it's worth, Whether people want
to give them their credit and their due or not,
they have been the catalysts of this team. I know
Patrick Mahomes is the man, but it really has been
their defense in Spagnola and his his schemes with this
defense that has really carried them. You lose one of
your your main guys and coverage. How how are we

(22:53):
viewing the Kansas City Chiefs moving forward? I made the
bold claim their window could be closing. They're they're they're
period of dominance. It could be winding down, y'all got it, gut.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Could be it's closed. When when you trade, when you
trade a player this young and Trent McDuffie, it's normally
a badge of honor to draft a guy high and
give him a second contract. So now you're trading him.
They are in a somewhat rebuild mode. Chris Jones is

(23:30):
their best player on defense. After that, it was Trent McDuffie,
and some may have argued it was Trent McDuffie last year.
So you basically traded your best defensive player or your
second best defensive player, and he's really young. Offensively, your
best player, Pat Mahomes is coming off of major injury.
Is he even going to start the season. Who's your receivers?

(23:51):
Kelsey may retire and so the Chiefs are in a
how are we going to rebuild this as fast as
we can mode? And to do that we got to
get rid of players in good players. And so the
Chiefs didn't make the playoffs last year. And as long
as you have Patrick Mahomes, we always feel like they

(24:12):
have a chance. But if Pat Mahomes is not going
to be available to start the season, the Chief's gonna
be picking in the top ten. So you didn't make
the playoffs last year, you may pick in the top
ten this year. It's closed. It's closed. I mean right now,
as we look right now, just look at their division.
Are they better than the Broncos, We'd say no. Are

(24:34):
they better than the Chargers? We'd say no, Yeah, they're
better than the Raiders. So being third in your division,
you're not making the playoffs again in back to back years,
That's how I see and I view the Chiefs. The
Rams on the other end, they going for it. The
Rams on another end, they look like the favorites because
they still have a first round pick. They draft Mansour

(24:55):
Delayne from LSU. Defense is loaded top to bottom. The
d line, the linebackers were landman. The secondary now will
be one of the best secondaries in the league. If
Matt sur Delaine is that guy. Offensively, we know what
they gonna do. Show the Rams have counterparted themselves into,
at least for me being a favorite.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
You know, I don't understand how you can expect to
get better if you're the Kansas City Chiefs and you're
getting you're getting rid of all your players. It just
doesn't really make sense to me. You got a first
team All Pro corner back and Trip mcduffin you let
him go. I believe you got better. You know, you
get a first round pick this year, and you get
three picks next year in the twenty twenty sixth draft.

(25:39):
But it all kind of started off with you trade
Lajerias Sneid to Tennessee, and he's your best corner, and
now you trade away your best corner and McDuffie. The
only reason I would say that they traded this young
man is because he's the first team All Pro. He's
in the last year of his rookie deal, He's coming
up on a huge contract, and they don't want to

(26:01):
pay that. They don't want to pay him to be
the highest paid cornerback and all the football, especially with
the salaries that they have starting with Patrick Mahoons. But
I just don't see how you get better defensively getting
rid of getting rid of your best players offensively. For
Kansas City Teacher, you said, are they better than Denver?

(26:24):
Are they better than the Chargers? I would say I
think that you're just basically making that assumption because of
the health of Patrick Mahomes. If it's healthy, they have
a chance to win. It doesn't matter what the Denver
Broncos and these other teams are doing. When you have

(26:44):
the best quarterback in the game and he's healthy, they
have a chance. Now moving forward, I mean, you gotta
be honest. They gotta look that self in the mirror
and say, you know what, we're getting older and they're
going to have to The cisions going to be ha
to make be made. With Travis Kelsey. Is he going
to retire? I don't think so, But I don't believe

(27:05):
that they're gonna cut him. And I really believe that's
going to hinder this team and offensively based off of
what his decision is going to be, because everybody can
clearly see that, you know, he's lost a step or two.
He's not the same player that he was, you know,
five or six years ago. So you keep him on

(27:27):
a roster, you're going to have to, you know, throw
him the football. And I believe it's going to hurt
this team moving forward. So if Patrick, if Patrick Mahomes
is not healthy week one, I just don't see them,
you know, being the team that we have seen over
the last you know, seven eight years, because hey man,

(27:50):
father time is undefeated and whether you like it or not,
is turning the corner on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Hey all right, well y'all heard that.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
And God like the way Pat Mahomes has played the
last couple of years. He don't have the weapons, and
so you if Kelsey, who was and Kelsey had a
really good year this year, he rebounded. If he retires,
you got to replace that comfort blanket. You got to

(28:22):
replace somebody in the secondary. You got to get a
receiver that pat believes in.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Uh is it is?

Speaker 3 (28:28):
It gonna be Tyreek That's what I'm doing. I'm reuniting
with mister Tyreek Hill. That that right there, he.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Wants to go. You think he wants to go back
to Kansas City.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
If I'm Tyreek Hill, I'm trying to go where I
have my biggest impact with people that know me, a
quarterback that knows me because they say he gonna lose
a step, go ahead and lose a step, He's still
quicker and fashion everybody else.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Well, I don't know. I'm on the fence with Kansas
City again. And I had we had a big interesting
exchange when I said, and maybe I'm crazy, and maybe
I could rethink this, but I felt like, much like
when the Patriots had their dominant run, you gotta want

(29:15):
you got to have free agentcy and players who are
part of the team or players that could potentially be
part of the team want to go to the market,
want to go to the team, want to play for
the team. I said, I don't know if if Kansas
City is still as attractive of a place to want
to go. If I had my drothers, there would probably

(29:39):
be other teams and potentially based upon the market, like
you know, the weather and stuff like that, that it
may not be as attractive with the question marks that
may be out there on Kansas City. Am I am?
I offer that, like, give me some perspective on this.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
No, I mean absolutely not. Because if you know that
you're going to can the city, you know seven eight
years ago you're going to win football games and contend
for Super Bowl every single season, that is gone right
now because you just don't know where the Kansas City
Chiefs are headed right now moving forward, based off of

(30:20):
everything that we just said, defense Kelsey, if Patrick Mahomes
is not Patrick Mahomes, then who are the Kansas City Chiefs?
We don't know. And if I'm a free agent, I'm
saying to myself, it's Kansas City a destination I don't believe.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
So moving forward, TJ last word on.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
It, Kansas City. As long as Patrick Mahomes is there,
they'll be a destination for offensive players. But they're gonna
have to start to show that they can kind of
rebound and get back on track when the offense was
leading them. Because it's what you said at the outset
of this LeVar to defense have been the reason the
Chiefs have been the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
The last few years. Yeah, I mean that's just to me,
that's the reality of it. And then people may not
want to lean on that because it's easy to lean
into the brilliance of Patrick Mahomes, But I mean, I
just think that that's what it is. So all right, Well,
we'll see. We'll see what happens with the Kansas City Chiefs,
but I know we'll do this. We're going to find

(31:21):
out what's going on in the world of sports right now.
We're going to get an update. We'll talk Kyler Murray
Vikings in a moment or two. But let's hear from
Isaac Lohan Kron right now. How you doing, I'm doing?

Speaker 6 (31:33):
We have going on, sir, We got plenty going on,
starting in the NBA. The Boston Celtics announcing today that's
center Nikolo vuchevitull be out at least three to four
weeks after having surgery today to repair.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
A broken right ring finger.

Speaker 6 (31:44):
The NBA is just fine, Dallas Mavericks for and Chris
Middleton twenty five thousand dollars for throwing his mouthpiece in
the direction of the stands and Thursday's loss at Orlando.
In the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys have just placed a
five point seven million dollars second round tender on Pro
Bowl placekicker Randon Aubrey. This means of Aubrey signs an
offer sheet with another team, the Cowboys will have the

(32:05):
right to match it. If the Cowboys don't match it,
they'll receive a compensatory second round draft pick. Finally, Fellas,
I got a real interesting item that I think the
three of you are perfectly qualified to comment on, being
former NFL players, of course, but yesterday was the funeral
service for NFL receiver Rondale Moore, who passed away on

(32:25):
February twenty first. Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, who
was a one time teammate of More's, attended the service
and posted the following on his Instagram story quote crazy,
how only about six, maybe seven of your teammates in
the NFL showed up for you today? SMFH. All that

(32:47):
talk and fake emotion and nobody want to show up
to lay you to rest. Just at a loss of words,
be woke on who your brothers really are? Who really rock?
With you in all areas of life, not just in
front of cameras or the public. Folks just want to
throw up a post and not mean it. Unquote again

(33:07):
that from an Instagram Stories post from Atlanta Falcons tight
end Kyle Pitts after attending the funeral service yesterday for
NFL receiver Rondell More. Guys, what do you think about
his post?

Speaker 3 (33:21):
I mean, certain guys have ways. I's if that's how
he feels, you know, he may be and I know
Kyle Pits a little bit. I can relate to what
he's saying. But there's just certain guys that just don't
like to go to funerals. Man, it makes it even sadder.
And so it just depends on the individual. But I
get where he's coming from. If that's how he feels.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
For sure, Yeah, I think you got to prove who
a person is to you in life, not in death,
you know what I mean. That's how I see it.
But it is what it is, and he is entitled
to his opinion, just like we'll continue to give you
ours on the other side of the break. Vikings Kyle
Arizona Cardinals. Yeah, we're gonna get to that all right.

(34:03):
This is up on Games Fox Sports Radio. We'll be
right back. All right, Welcome back into the show. Everyone.
As mentioned, this is up on Game.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
It's t J.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Hushman's Eyes, Plux Coburst. I'm LeVar Arrington. We got Cuffs
the Legend. Coming up in hour two, We're gonna talk
to some logan Paul. Yeah, he has some big things
to say about basketball, but we'll also talk you know,
or some big things about football players and well we'll
get to it. And well, you know, Shay Gildris Alexander
is playing some basketball, but he made head lines because

(34:35):
of his jacket. I mean, I don't know is that
big news or not. We'll get to it. We'll get
all that. But before we get out of this this hour, obviously,
the reports are coming out that Kyler Murray will be released,
so we'll be available. They're talking about the Vikings could
be the front runner and bringing him in. What does
this mean for JJ McCarthy, Does Kyler Murray is that

(34:56):
is that a flex? Is that a flex to say
you bringing in Kyler Murray to the Vikings and that's
going to make them a better team. How you guys
looking at this? What does this mean for McCarthy.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
If that does happen, PLA, she gotta go ahead.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
You know what, I just don't know what Arizona Cardinals ahead.
And I mean, listen, it has to be pretty bad
if you know that you owed this man thirty six
million dollars and he's gonna send them out the door,
So you're basically gonna cut them thirty six million dollar
check and tell them to go find another job elsewhere.
So you know, I'm looking at the whole situation with
the Minnesota Vikers and JJ McCarthy. The Vikings still have

(35:32):
to clear up. I believe it's like forty six million
dollars in cap space just to sign Kyler Murray. So
I don't really see that being a destination. The destination
that I don't want him to entertain is definitely New
York Jets because you're getting worse than me if you're
going from Arizona to the Jets. So I don't really

(35:53):
think that's a place where he would land. But you know,
I'm looking at teams like the Miami Dolphins into Pittsburgh
still maybe there's something there for him. But for the
Arizona Cardinals, you know, you have Jacoby Brissett, Kadon Slofis
on your roster. You they have to have a plan
for something that we don't know about, because yeah, because yeah,

(36:17):
because you're not. You're not just say you're not just
sending uh Kyler Murray out the door without a plan.
So I want to see what the Arizona call.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
I'm gonna tell you what I think the plan is.
All right, So obviously they they getting rid of Kylin Murray.
He just hasn't been able to lead the Cardinals where
they want to go. And if he does go to Minnesota,
Minnesota felt like JJ McCarthy couldn't lead them where they
wanted to go. Now, this is what I believe will happen,

(36:48):
and if it doesn't happen, everybody else should be Larry
Malik Willis was with the Green Bay Packers last year.
Whos the green Bay Packers head coach the floor Lafloor,
who's a coach coach in Arizona. His little brother, right,
we want our show. We all would want our little

(37:11):
brother to succeed, would we? Not? Sure?

Speaker 2 (37:13):
So you're going to send him, malikue Willis.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
No, I'm not going to send you about I'm going
to I'm going to tell him everything that he needs
to know, good and bad about Malik Willis. So I
believe if Malik Willis is an Arizona Cardinal, Matt Lafleur
has spoken extremely highly of him to his brother, and

(37:37):
so his brother is going to go sign him.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
If he isn't but getting better, you're not getting better.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
They may be getting better, because there was going to
ask they we don't know. It's a limited sample size.
It's a limited sample size.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
But stock on the table. I don't know that I
want to put LeVar on that sto far bro.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Laflour, who has coached him in Green Bay, really knows
what he can do. So he's gonna tell his brother, Hey,
you need to go get this guy or stay away
from this guy. If he doesn't end up in Arizona,
that tells me all I need to know. If he
ends up in Arizona, that tells me Lafloor in Green
Bay thinks very highly of him and he wants his
brother already.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
Why not send the starter?

Speaker 3 (38:26):
Why then you can't you can't do Why would I
send my store away?

Speaker 2 (38:30):
Are you crazy? Come on? I mean, but I'm just saying,
but just just I know that sounds crazy, but I'm
just saying, if you feel that strongly about Malik Willis,
where you're going to send them to your brother to
have success.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
You're not sending him. You're not sending him to your brother.
You're recommending him to your brother. Malik Willis may not
go to Arizona. He may get off for more money.
I'm saying if Arizona is in on him, then that
tells me Lafloor in Green Bay is putting a great
word about Malik Willis because he's coached them elect He's
basically developed him. He didn't develop ittid to ask your questions.

(39:06):
If you're the Arizona Caringers and you know.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
That you have Kyler Murray uh is there is what
team would you consider like offering a trade for for
a franchise quarter quarterback.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
Nobody is taking Cayler Murray. Nobody is taking columb Release. Yeah,
nobody is taking him. Nobody is taking You're not taking it.
So I'm saying, O, you own thirty six million dollars,
you might as well.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
Get out for one more.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
They don't want him on the team like they don't
want him on he his leadership qualities so off the field.
On the field, they don't want him on the team
because if they give him thirty six million, they guarantee
I believe it's seventeen million the following year. So it's
not thirty six million, it's fifty three million. Hey, they
don't want to.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Get jaw just super quick because we're about to be done.
But what what does this mean for JJ McCarthy. I mean,
the discussions of it if it were even if it
doesn't happen, how like, just where does this leave JJ McCarthy.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
He has to play better period, paint blink, So he's
going to.

Speaker 2 (40:07):
Get another opportunity to play better.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
Absolutely, you have to.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
They're not moving from him this off season. They're not
bringing nowear for them this offseason.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
J McCarthy would be the opening, they starter. It's a
possibility for the Minnesota Vikings. It's a possible. Feel like
it's a possibility.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
I feel like it's a tremendously large possibility that that
JJ McCarthy will not start to begin the season next year.

Speaker 4 (40:32):
You know, I just think Ko is going to give
agree to go out and prove himself. I don't think
they're just going to throw uh JJ McCarthy away just
because he didn't have a season that you know, everybody
thought he was going to have.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
So well, we'll see. Uh, we got cuts to the
legend coming up in hour two. Make sure you stayed
locked in downn This is up on game and yeah,
Logan Paul, he had fighting words. Literally, We're going to
get into all of that and more. This is Foxible
