want a Heisman two years ago, twenty twenty four, big star.

Well, we can't downplay the Heisman. I mean that's twenty
twenty three.

Yeah, but do you look at that and say, twenty
six games Heisman, you get your jersey like put Aside retired,
no one else gets it. Well, it's not downplay like
there is no higher honor. He won the Heisman Trophy,
national championship, I mean yeah, but still that's a personal accolade.
A championship would have been better, of course. So yeah,

is very petty to complain about this and put a
season desist on his name, image, and likeness moving forward.

Jersey DJ Pickett claiming, hey, man, if it's available, what
am I doing wrong? So that's a question in itself.
Do you blame DJ Pickett and say the huavos on
this guy to go at Jaden Daniel's number? Do you
blame the school for making it available?

to this. This could be maybe some sort of straw
that broke Daniels back here because you know, I know

what it feels like to be disrespected by your college,
and this is on a much much much higher level. Rich,

like to be disrespect did by your college or not acknowledged.
This is a guy that maybe feels he deserves a
little more respect than that. Maybe this is just another
moment of numerous things that we're not aware of right now,
how many years?

revolving door of young talent, right Like, think about it,
You're in and out of there in four years as

you know, a lot of his contemporaries, their numbers are retired,

so he's thinking on that level. Kayleb Williams numbers retired.
I was going through a list. There's some place like
it's not unheard of. It's like you're saying. I'm saying, yeah, dude,
you can't compare college sports to professional sports.

in the NFL, their colleges respected them. Your boy, Steve

have all kinds of Jersey numbers retired and others don't

can't compare college sports to professional sports. And someone plays
their entire career with that team and won multiple championships,
so on and so forth. Jayden Daniels made his name
and what got him to the NFL through LSU two years,

the show. We were like, I guess how many games
did that you played for LSU twenty six? That's you know,
I'm not saying NFL and college are the same, but
in NFL terms, that's not even two seasons.

from the perspective of collegees are revolving dwarf students, athletes, everyone,

own college and I was like, I doubt they did
this for guys. Oh they did. That's that's the point,

has informed LSU that it can no longer use his name, image,
and likeness in a letter that was sent to LSU
and obtained by ESPN. At the center of the dispute
is LSU is allowing a sophomore quarterback DJ Pickett to
wear the number five jersey the Daniels Warren twenty twenty

three when he became the tigers third Heisman Trophy winner.
Daniels did respond on social media, and he said that
he's been locked in on training camp, that he has
a lot of gratitude for his time at LSU, and
that he hopes the issues are worked out between his

talked about, but an attorney representing Commander's quarterback Jaden Daniels
has informed LSU that it can no longer use his name, image,
and likeness in a letter that was sent to LSU
and obtained by ESPN. At the center of the dispute
is LSU is allowing a sophomore quarterback DJ Pickett to
wear the number five jersey the Daniels Warren twenty twenty
(32:40):
three when he became the tigers third Heisman Trophy winner.
Daniels did respond on social media, and he said that
he's been locked in on training camp, that he has
a lot of gratitude for his time at LSU, and
that he hopes the issues are worked out between his
team and LSU privately. I don't think that's what's happening.
Everyone is talking about it. There are reports of Elis
that that m J McDaniels, Jana McDaniels, Jaden Daniels team

Beck because of a rib injury. You can not expect
to see Patrick Mahomes in the team's preseason opener against

the Rams. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that today the
Bills plan on playing everyone who is healthy, and Saturday's
preseason game against the Panthers that includes quarterback Josh Allen.
