of parenting and people are hating on his kid.

and baseball is all about the bat flip. Baseball is
all about showmanship. Now, I'm okay with it, but this

I mean, you always say this. What happens at every party,
every event. Why why are stupid rules put into place?

visit my wife's family around the fourth of July. I

I saw a sign at the gym in Texas and
it was like on it was like a little cartoon
characters like this is what you have to wear, And
it was clear that there must have been some girl
that showed up with like a thong and a sports
prom so they had to put up a sign like, hey,
at the gym here, we try to keep some family standards.

Uh, the proper attire.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
If you're gonna wear like yoga shorts or something, ladies,
they should be blank and the you know, a sports
bra has to do a certain amount of coverage. You
know why they had to put that sign up because
what do you think one person did, probably showed up
with their cheeks out. Okay, so you're saying, now little
League or pony Ball, whatever this is, has to put
some rules in place because of what do you think
at our what do you think at our company holiday party?

They give like one to two drink tickets because I
guarantee at one point someone had one too many cocktails
and they're like, you know what, we should probably limit it.
Gave everyone like one to two tickets tops. Someone always
ruins it. And I'm not blaming a kid, but this
will now, I guarantee this, this clip is where everyone's
gonna be like, all right, we've had enough. Come back

There's one of the aggressive not defending it. But let
me throw some exam. You did that when you were

I think there's a balance and a compromise. Like Ridge said,
I agree, but I don't think it's that bad where
all this criticism is warranted, Like it's the most viral clip,
we're leading our show with it, it's all over social media.
But what if I'm just saying, what if this is hypothetic.
Keep back to like if it was a cute kid,
it would be different. No, no, I'm giving you a real

hypothetical now. So before I explain, I'm not being a contrariyan.
I just didn't think it was as bad as people
are making it out to be. But I agree it's bad. Yeah,
this is just a pure hypothetical. And maybe because every
time clips go viral, there's always something that comes up
or follows it and it's like, oh, well, you know,
we didn't know the whole story or we didn't see
the full clip. How do we know that there was

a kid on the mound that was taunting him and
maybe he was the big kid that seemed unhittable and
this kid got a lucky shot home run once in
a lifetime moment. Does that change your perspective of oh man,
maybe this kid's uh, you know, he's not a real
great achiever and this was his one highlight of his
life and he really got the best of that picture.
Who gives him a hard time? What if you don't

know a backstory? That doesn't change anything? This is this
is like, this is the level that doesn't change anything.
If I'm just saying, if the picture is a big
kid that bullied him and he's kidding home school, what
that's impossible. So you don't always know everything. So hey,
for all we know this kid, this is his joy
most joyous moment he's ever had.

Maybe he comes from a tough upbringing, so you hate
to be mad year old.

That behavior is acceptable if that kid bought him at school. Yeah,
I'm just giving you possibility.

some aggressiveness with the celebration of a bat flip, but

Hey, we're not going let's make this clear, none of

our kids to behave this way. There's sportsman, there's a class.

still an eleven year old. If you want to point
the fingers, point him at the professionals where he gets
us from. Point him at the parents who allows him
to be parents. How about the coaches? Point the parents

have no people to be bullying an eleven year old.
The way they are on social media, I think is
absurd because they're learning it from adults. Monkey see monkey do,
Like we as adults have to take accountability. You're like,
I'm frustrated with my daughter ninety percent of the time,
but I have to look at myself and take some
accountability and like, well, she gets it from somewhere and
it's probably me.

what I mean, Like, it's not fair always to blame

a bunch of little kids. The first side, like when
my kids celebrate that I coach, I love it. I
encourage them. A kid hits a big hit or scores,
jump on him, hit him on the helmet, have some fun.

But your first your first priority should just be getting
to base, Like unless I guess it's a home run in.

The home, but really if the kid hit a home
run on my line is very because he's shouting and
looks aggressive. That's where the line is. If he was
smiling and cheering like Joe Carter, then you're cool.

Then it wouldn't be a viral video. You know what

If when the first kid on my team hits a
home run, which will probably happen when they're seven or eight,
like there'll be a kid that puts one out. If
some kid finally hits one over the fence their first
home run and they flip their back, yeah, and they
like are super enthusiastic, enthusiastic, and their teammates are jumping
on them, patting them on the helmet.

It was the viral clip of this little league or
pony ball kid who celebrates at a level that has
people upset, like I'm all for celebration. I'm for a
bat flip, I'm for cheering, up for chest bumps, up
for high fives.

bra has to do a certain amount of coverage. You
know why they had to put that sign up because

League or pony Ball, whatever this is, has to put
some rules in place because of what do you think
at our what do you think at our company holiday party?

They give like one to two drink tickets because I
guarantee at one point someone had one too many cocktails
and they're like, you know what, we should probably limit it.
Gave everyone like one to two tickets tops. Someone always
ruins it. And I'm not blaming a kid, but this

Keep back to like if it was a cute kid,

I just didn't think it was as bad as people

time clips go viral, there's always something that comes up

we didn't know the whole story or we didn't see
the full clip. How do we know that there was

maybe he was the big kid that seemed unhittable and
this kid got a lucky shot home run once in
a lifetime moment. Does that change your perspective of oh man,
maybe this kid's uh, you know, he's not a real
great achiever and this was his one highlight of his
life and he really got the best of that picture.
Who gives him a hard time? What if you don't

know a backstory? That doesn't change anything? This is this
is like, this is the level that doesn't change anything.
If I'm just saying, if the picture is a big
kid that bullied him and he's kidding home school, what
that's impossible. So you don't always know everything. So hey,
for all we know this kid, this is his joy
most joyous moment he's ever had.

Maybe he comes from a tough upbringing, so you hate

But your first your first priority should just be getting

The home, but really if the kid hit a home
run on my line is very because he's shouting and
looks aggressive. That's where the line is. If he was

If when the first kid on my team hits a

on them, patting them on the helmet.

in people sometimes. And I think we could assess this
by saying that kid's so young. The fact that coaches
and parents allowed it, that's what the problem. I think,
