I'm pulling up the chat as we speak. While you
do that, let me let everyone know today we're going
to talk about sleeping with your teammates, what who scandalous stories.
Don't go banging your teammates. Uh, We're gonna talk some
NBA playings. We're gonna bang in is pumping uglies. Oh

(01:45):
I'm sorry, you got up uglies. Yeah, we're on terresh Field,
Fox Sports Radio Nationwide bumping uglies. They're stooping something like that,
some corny word. Yeah, make whoopie, Yeah, make whoopie like
they said out Newlywed game. That was Uh, that was
a big that was a big phrase back then. Huh
making whoope, making whoopie? Dude, big poppy trivia. Like you said,

(02:07):
I have an annoying thing that I'm dealing with tonight
that I'll explain coming up, But I do want to
bring up a quick theory to start the show before
we get into bumping uglies at your teammates. Could you
know and I both saw the same viral video and
I think it's just a great way to look at
your week, being that it is Monday. We hear on
Fox Sports Radio some doofis on TikTok said, you know,

(02:30):
I saw a way to look at your week, and
I can't think of it differently. Now it's a new
analogy on life. How to win in life? Now? In
the NBA, in the NHL, in Major League Baseball SAM,
a championship series is usually best of what seven? Yeah,
and to win the series, what do you need four?

(02:51):
Someone said you should look at each week of your
life like a seven game series. You just gotta win
four days. Yeah, you're gonna have a crappy day, like
days are sort of a drag aass type of day.
But you know Friday is sort of a gimme right,
Like Friday is likely gonna be a win if you win.
Maybe a Monday that's like winning one on the road.
So you just gotta have four good days a week

(03:13):
and you won the week. My only issue with this,
and it's a great way to look at it, right,
It's not every day is gonna be great. You gotta
an annoying fight with your wife, your kids are gonna
annoy the hell out of you. Something's gonna happen. You're
gonna you know, your boss is gonna be a pain
in the ass. It's easy to figure out which days
are the losses, right, Like you said, bad news at work,
the kids are hassling you. But like, how do you

(03:35):
define a victory? Like Sunday, Monday they might be ls,
but Friday Saturday are w So you gotta be liked.
Can I take two out of three from Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday?
And if we win today, guys, we have fun and
we close out this Monday strong. We won on the road.
It's like winning Game one on the road.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yah.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
And that's the way you gotta look at it. You
gotta approach every week like a seven game series and
all you have to do is win four games and
you win in life because if you win for every
series you win. Put it this way, every series you
win in baseball, you have a greater chance of making
the playoffs. Yeah, and that's what we're trying to do
in life. You want to win in life, win the week.
There you go week by week by week. Great way

(04:13):
to look at it. Just an interesting thought. So we'll
get into the show. Cavino rich what consists of a win? Like,
let's say, nothing great happen, like squeezing some cheeks or
something like, how do you define a win in life?
To me? A win to me is like no mental
breakdowns from the kiddos, your team wins, like maybe your
team wins, and like you know, you and your wife
have some loving not even intimate, like you just had
a really nice night, you watch the show, you liked

(04:35):
a decent day, no call from like you know what
the bad day was. The last week I went for
a dental cleaning and they're like, well, it looks like
it's probably best to put a crown on that back molar.
I'm like yeah, but it doesn't bother me. They're like, oh,
our best to be preemptive. And I'm like all right,
Like well, after your deductible and your insurance like eight

(04:55):
hundreds on them bucks, and next week I have to
go to the dentist to get a crown to buy
a crown, but we think you're King Harley Race, so
that will be your king, James. That will be a
loss of the day. Yeah, ok, yeah, you're about to
play the rockets. Go for the win and let's take
one on the road. Even if your Monday's been a
little rocky so far, let's go Steve Cabino, Rich Davis,

(05:18):
Danny g Io, Sam and Buyer. Buyer had a weekend.
Byer was loving golf all weekend long. Man absolutely, speaking
of hope you had a McElroy Tyson Fury, maybe Oberg
costa UFC three sixty three twenty seven weekends. It's funny
you would say all those things, say great before we

(05:38):
get into the meet of today's show. Congratst Rory McElroy
and Dan Byron, all the golf fans. We really enjoyed
a nice, a beautiful, nice long weekend of golf. Did
anyone happen to watch the Tyson Fury middle of the
afternoon fight on Netflix? I did, Because I did. I
happen to get a text message from my father in
law who was like you watching this, Like, oh yeah, Dave,

(06:00):
you're right, I turn it on. He fought Mack Modoff
and The story was if Fury won this fight, maybe
they could finally seal that deal for that mega fight
overseas between Tyson Fury and Anthony josh The guy he
thought mackmudof, Yeah, that guy was the definition of like

(06:21):
a monstrous punching bag. Like that dude could take a punch,
but he was just not gonna He was not gonna
hurt Tyson Fury. But I mean, talk about the most
beefy punching bag you've ever seen your left I had
no head movement at all, the beast right easy to
hit for a guy like Tyson Fury. So after that fight,
I did get a little excited, even though it's a
fight that we all wanted like a decade ago. When

(06:44):
Tyson Fury brings out the showman in himself when he
calls out Anthony Joshua ringside and he's like, you bloke,
you're gonna take my You're gonna take my challenge? Yes
or no? And then Anthony Joshua was sitting there all chill.
I thought it was a cool moment from boxing, and
I hope they do work that out Tyson Fury. By
the way, I know they're past their prime, like you said,

(07:07):
but if he conditioned a little better. He's only thirty seven,
and I know that's a little older, but not like ancient.
He's never been a specimen like an Anthony Joshua, but Tyson,
yourhead a little extra backfat in that fun. Yeah, every
time he got hit, it was like he's thirty seven.
Joshua was thirty six, and it got a little lippy
at the end of the fight. A lot of fun,
a lot of theatrics. The Gypsy King is back. They're

(07:29):
trying to make that fight happen. So hope you had
to mckilroy Tyson fury and both cool to watch. Like
I said, UFC three twenty seven was also exciting this weekend.
Hope you enjoyed it. I hope you had that kind
of weekend. And let's get into it. We have lots
of theories to get into, lots of trivia. Big Poppy's
going to be here. We got prizes. But do you

(07:51):
want to start rich?

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Choose your adventure? Game? Ready, choose your adventure. Let's set Sam.
Choose w NBA drama or Riches, Mets, Dodgers dilemmas. I'm
choosing Yeah, w NBA drama. Oh, dirty doll.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
I hear more about the Mets on this show than
I do in any other, you know, span of minutes
in my entire life.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
All Right, we'll get this. The draft is tonight. W
n B a draft, and here's what I'm getting out
of this. There's some drama for your mama. Dallas Wings
have the number one pick, Dallas Wings or a w

(08:35):
NBA team, Right, what else could it be? Your favorite appetizer?
I thought it was a restaurant when I heard Dan
Byron you talking abou Dallas Wings. It's a new spot
at the Gallerias.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
New flavor of Mesquite Dallas Swings.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yeah, rich, Smoky. They're going to be playing the Asian
Zings later tonight. That too, another flavor at Buffalo Wildwick.
What luc cheese? Please? Hey, Dan Byer and Danny g
If I misstep while telling the story, please correct me. Okay,
But I'm also trying to explain, like, do I got
this right? The Dallas Wings got the first pick tonight,

(09:11):
and apparently they're gonna take Azy Fudd. Now here's where
the controversy gets a little sticky. Asy Fudd, as Fudd
used to play at Yukon no relation to Elmer. I
don't know Elmer's kid. I'm not sure. But asy Fudd
used to play at Yukon with Paige Beckers. And get this,

(09:31):
if the Dallas Wings choose asy Fudd to be on
their team, she's now teammates with the woman she's dating,
superstar by the name of Paige Beckers. So it becomes
a sticky situation of is that reason to pick asy
Fudd or reason to not pick asy Fudd because of

(09:55):
the whole Paige Beckers thing? Because yeah, things are great
now great, grand wonderful, But what if you know it
becomes a breakup of sorts, you'd forget basketball. It's like
going into business with your significant other. Can you bele's
with your teammates? Don't? They say, don't? What is the
company in suntip? Your don't pen? Well, there's no pen? Yeah, don't.

(10:16):
Do you know what I'm talking about? Okay, don't don't
be whoopee making whoopee Sam, Yeah, you can't be making
whoopye with your teammates. Seventies Is this a good thing
or a bad thing? How do you feel about it?
And then it brings up all these other sticky situations
in sports, and I'm gonna bring this up just to
maybe think that or give argument that maybe there's nothing

(10:39):
really here. Maybe this is a nothing burger, as you
like to say, Because there was some controversy about a
year back when the Yankees were getting Cody Bellinger. Like
Cody Bellinger, oh, was that he was in sleep? He
was sleeping with John Carlow close. I know Cody Bellinger's
wife is Chase Carter. They have a wonderful family. But

(11:00):
Carter was the ex of John Carlo Stanton. I knew
there was something with Stanton, right, so it's like, wow,
can you can you work and be teammates with a
dude that used to stoop your wife, as we politely
kindly said back then. And you know what, nothing came
of it because they're professionals, they're grown ups. It was

(11:20):
never a big deal. I never There's more drama between
Lindor and Soto than there ever was between Bellinger and Stanton.
What are under the bridge? Bygones are bygones. The past
is the past, and he seemed to be great teammates.
So there was a lot of speculation there and nothing
came of it. Nobody seemed to care at all if
you're not following again, Cody Bellinger's wife used to date

(11:40):
John Carla not speaking English? That was really do you
think I didn't explain it well enough? Rich said it,
so now it counts. So the point is there was
no issue there. When you hear this, is this one
of those things like, yes, it probably not gonna be
an issue, but it could be. Hold on if Pagebeckers
an easy Funck met at Yukon, they won an a

(12:04):
national title together, and they are dating, as Kavino said,
they're bumping uglies. I think the bigger newslash for me
is that Paige Beckers is dating asy Fud. Honestly, he
thought you had a shot.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
I didn't know that. I mean I really didn't know
that because I was like, ooh, she's, you know, good
looking woman who just doesn't want you. Yeah, she's just
not interested in this guy. So any guy, I know
that might be common knowledge to a lot of you.
I was not aware of that. Apologies. They came out
with a relationship I'd say, like a year or two ago. Okay,
so Paige Becker's asy Fudd in a relationship on the

(12:39):
same team. I think has all the pros and cons
of honestly going into business with a family member, opening
up a restaurant, you know, starting a company, because when
things are good, it's gonna feel like honestly like glorious.
I believe I was standpointed this out last year. This

(13:00):
is also part of the fun that the WNBA provides
that other leagues really don't provide as often. There's a
lot of like love drama and love triangles that go on.
There's an added dimension of drama that happens in the
WNBA that we don't see in other sports of the
WNBA are lesbians. Why don't you ask Colin? Why don't

(13:21):
you ask Colin of Colin will know? Why would you
ask me? Hey? Colin? No Covino.

Speaker 6 (13:29):
Before the show, I looked up notable couples who played
together in the WNBA, and a list of four couples
came up. Alyssa Thomas and Dewana Bonner, they played together
on the Sun and the Mercury. Okay, Melissa Smith and Carrington,
they were on the Wings together before Smith was traded
to the Aces. Diana Tarossi and Penny Taylor. They played
on the Mercury together for years and Natasha Cloud and

(13:52):
Isabelle Harrison.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Yeah. See they were on the Liberty. That's what makes
this juicy. Like growing up, we didn't have to deal
with like Don Mattingly and Winfield having like a lover's quarrel.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
But what also makes this, I think a sports topic
is you maybe knew Diana Tarassi's name. I'm not sure
if you're familiar with the other players, but Diana Tarossi
legend and the w NBA these are two stars. Yes,
this is two back to back first overall picks who
are an item power couple on one team. Yes, yes.

(14:25):
And if that ends up fracturing, does it fracture the team?

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Well, of course it does. And that's where because people
take sides, That's where I was gonna get at. If
they do have a lover's quarrel, Let's say someone breaks
up with who there's something going on that locker room
is gonna be like, well are you team? Yeah? Page
Like they're expected to take sides and unfollow on social media.
It's like when you're friends with a family or a

(14:50):
couple and then they say, hey, we're getting divorced and
you're like, do I have to like pick one of
you now, so would you expect the Dallas Winks to
not pick asy fund then as a result, so that's
where it gets crazy, and we send they're they're the
pudding because they want an NCAA tournament together for Yukon.
So yes, they could win. Works as evidence it works?

(15:10):
Is I have a question now, because we we live
in a world where hr is a thing, right, is
it out of bounds for them to ask these women
what the nature of their relationship is, because if it's like, hey,
like it's casual versus like we are monogamous and serious
and we see this long term, Like, I think that's

(15:33):
a fair question to sort of investigate before you mortgage
your future. Like like if they're like, no, we are
in our circles and our friends and family. Yeah, I've
heard a tea that sleeps together wins together. Is that true?
I mean, is that true? I'll try anything, dude, if
it means rating snuff. If page and As are saying

(15:54):
this is not like we're not there's not gonna be scandal,
We're not dating like we are in love and this
is it? Yeah, right then, right now, I believe that.
But fast forward, you know, a year or two from now.
But if you hear rumblings like, oh no, they go
at it, they are of you, they're a little feisty together.
I think that's a different story. And I don't think
it's out of bound for the Dallas Wings to investigate

(16:16):
out of bounds, and I'm playing devil's advocate to think
that they're just not consummate professionals who want to get
out there and win regardless of what's going on, you know,
outside relationships and sources and arguments, that all goes aside
for the soul's sake of winning as a team. Beautiful
are together though, right, road trips and everything. They're with
their the person they love. Right, if you think about it,

(16:39):
they're on a road trip, they're traveling, they're doing things
they are they are at arm's length away from the
person they love most.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
I'm married to someone who I met here at work,
but she does not she did not work. She doesn't
work here anymore. But she didn't work on the first floor.
She worked in the main building, in the offices. I
don't think that if we worked on the same floor
in that same area that we would be together. That's
just too close. It's you know, for how it works,
or at some point maybe you know, one of us

(17:06):
would have gone a different way and decided. But I
think the separation for us helped in that aspect.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
You know what. I'm glad you said that too, because
it made me think of something else, and you know
that separation is what was key for Dan Byer. Right,
let's just say one of them has a bad game, right,
either page Backers or asy fund. It's all gonna come
back to. I heard their fighting. It's speculation, right, like, oh,
they were pickering today, So it just gives more fuel

(17:34):
to random fire. Rich and I worked with a guy
who was dating one of the women on the same floor,
and they kept that hush hush and quiet because they know,
like you know, people are gonna talk and speculate and
over speculate and bring things up when really they held
no no, no reason to even speculate. Did you know?

(17:56):
Do you remember who I'm talking about at ESPN? Rich? Yeah,
you know what I mean. Like, so let's say that
one dude was having a bad day, You're like, oh,
are they fighting? It just gave reason people to goss.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Sure, but I don't think who their bosses were. Thought like,
we need these two to be a couple to make
this company thrive. And it may be a weird way
of thinking of it, but if you're running the Dallas
Wings and you're trying to figure out what is the
best way, maybe they maximize it. Maybe because they won
that national championship, it's a bonus for them. But there's

(18:25):
the other side of the coin that again, if the
bottom falls out or something happens, If something goes wrong,
now you've got a mess on your hands. And when
we talk about draft evaluations, because we're a week and
a half away from the NFL Draft, we know how
gms are swayed or persuaded by certain things or hearing
certain things because they don't want their reputation on the line.
So if you're putting your reputation as a GM on

(18:46):
the line that this relationship works, that's a pretty heavy
thing to do if you're a general manager. Also, not
picking her could make your star player.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Oh imagine that's your website. Imagine imagine Page Becker's like,
you sons a bit, you're not picking my girl, But
how about this two favorite I want. It's just safe
to say Page Beckers is well, she's a superstar. But
a leader of that team, Now she's playing favoritism to
one of her teammates. How does that rub the other teammates?

Speaker 5 (19:17):
You know?

Speaker 1 (19:17):
So it's it's a really interesting dynamic that we really have.
We haven't explored or had had any reason to explore
it sports. Really, I have to say, if Colin knows here,
I mean it is. I think it's relevant. Hold on
every play, every stat, every storyline, I've got it all.
What do you want to know, hey, Colin? What percentage
of the w NBA is lbgt Q? I mean, Colin

(19:43):
knows everything. There's no official w NBA number because the
league doesn't publish a verified percentage, So anybody giving you
a clean stat is guessing. I only asked that because
have you ever thought of mental mind tricks? Someone could
play on them? Meaning imagine if I told you Cavino,

(20:06):
it would be advantageous for you to meddle in that
person's relationship. A league where a lot of these successful,
super talented women are in that community. What if there
was the meddling to mess up team chemistry? What if
the Dallas Wings are rolling and it's like, well, we'll
put it into that like rumors, gossip, drama, like you

(20:27):
don't have to deal with that in other sports gets
there aren't if any open gay players, Like, this is
a whole new layer of chemistry, camaraderie, sabotage, rumors, like
there's so many other layers. How about this. If you're
an opposing player and you just really want to get
the Page Beckers, you could you could either you know,
use that as ammo, or you could really just mess

(20:48):
with Azy Fund just to get Beckers out of her game.
See what I'm saying, Yeah, your second fiddle to your part.
You know you can no, but you don't be mental.
It's gonna be there's gonna be personal things that are
happening that we never had to deal with in professional
sports before. I think it's an interesting, cool layer to
be I think it's like the what goes into it

(21:10):
is wild, right, what goes into the decision, Like, all right,
if we pick her, then we are rolling the dice
that this will work out and they could work together
and be a couple. Imagine they don't pick her. You're right,
then dB point out, then all of a sudden, Page
Beckers could be like, you didn't trust me and Azy,
But how does that work? As far as HR situations, like,

(21:32):
I thought, you're not supposed to. Have you ever worked
with like a married couple in the same building. I
was like the part I get it to work. But
have you guys we all came up in radio. You
ever noticed those morning shows that's usually on some like
hot a C like adult contemporary station, like Bob and
Shirley in the morning, and it's like they're a married
couple and they've been doing mornings together for twenty five
years in Syracuse, Like yes, And I always wondered, like

(21:54):
it always ends up the Bob show it was.

Speaker 6 (21:58):
And then s got the money. They bicker like you
two do, except they're really married.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
It's true. Yeah, I've heard those shows before. I've heard
of those shows and they don't really last.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Well, yeah, there's there could be other reasons as well.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
Wait, wait, isn't Kelly Rippa she's married to her co host? Yeah, yeah,
to like four different hosts.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Right.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
Yeah, they've also been together for a really long time,
worked out point and they have a family, and you know,
maybe a little more of a safety net.

Speaker 6 (22:32):
There, and he filled in all the time and he
got the permanent gig or.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
I was just going to say though, like in that situation,
if the show isn't working, Mark's gone right, like like
that's let's find someone else from Mark. Kelly's gonna stay,
Like what do you do with the Dallas Wings? Yeah,
if it isn't working or whatever happens, and then you know,

(22:59):
do you say, hey this, listen, we're not maximizing this
player isn't good. Like there's just there's just a lot
of things that you have to consider that you wouldn't normally, And.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
I think this is not a certainly would to be
a bad thing we were talking about to the women
dating on a WNBA team, But I'm saying I think
anytime there's storylines that are like ooh, that's enticing, is
good for a league that's trying to get more momentum, right,
Like you can't rely on Kaitlin Clark and Angel Reese
to just carry the load like this is, to me
is just another fun story that people love gossipy stuff

(23:28):
in sports. KBA should lean into it, like we could
pretend we don't like anytime ooh there's a fight at
the game, or there's this, or you know, anytime there's
something you know like that you know here in the
locker room. These guys are fighting or you know, Nick
Sirianni lost the locker room. Like, we love gossip whether
we want to admit it or not in sports. So
I think the WNBA should lean into this because it's
just another fun storyline. Like you know, they're dating and

(23:50):
they're two star players, all right, So the phone calls
are starting to come in. You know the story now
eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. What are your
thoughts on page Beckers and easy food and her being
on the team, bumping uglies with teammates? Is it will
be stupid? Whatever with your teammate? Is that good for
the game?

Speaker 5 (24:09):
Bad?

Speaker 1 (24:09):

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Let's get it on Mills Lane style. How do you
feel about teammates getting it on? Me and Veronica Vaughan
got it on from experience? Yeah, I did a friend

(26:26):
of mine. Everybody on the bus, No young on the bus.
Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio. It's a juicy story,
it really is. It's a great one. Asy fud number
one to the Dallas Wings. But Page Beckers is on
the team. They date, they're a couple, they're an item.
Is that reason to pick her? A reason to stay away?
Because you know these things they're not guaranteed. Obviously that's

(26:49):
are tough, so it could be messy. Steve Cavino, Rich Davis,
Danny g Sam Dan Byer. Oh, it's like going into business. Though,
like I said, with family, there's a line that you
have to be willing to cross and then you you're
it's all in. You got to accept everything that comes
with that. So if they want two superstars in women's sports,

(27:11):
stupor stars Page Backers an asy for stupid shots. If
they want them super stars, stuper stars. They think about
the promotional the promotional things they can do together. I
think it's amazing if it works. If it works, the
NBA Playoffs are here and DraftKings sports Book is an
official sports betting partner of the NBA. Right now, use
the code promo code see our show to claim your

(27:33):
special offerings at DraftKings again as promo code c R
s h O W DraftKings to Crown is yours seeing
our live from the Fox Sports Radio studio. You know,
we never thought of what just a whole layer two.
If if these two stars don't play well together on
the w NBA level, then there's going to be all
the the noise of well, it's because there are a
couple they don't know, you know, it's not working like

(27:55):
they're they're leaving themselves open to criticism if it goes wrong,
fleet goes well, Sam, you're the w NBA guy, what
do you think.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
Well, you know, when Caitlin Clarke was coming up through
the w n B a few years ago, and when
Doug Doug Gottlieb was still on our network, uh, you know,
him and Jason would talk about the w NBA A lot,
and Jason Stewart brought up this idea of having like
a reality TV show of like love interests in the
NB and the w n b A and also just
sort of like reality like Reality TV meets Hard Knocks,

(28:25):
like you know, real world, real World meets Hard Knocks.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
But for the w n b A. That was Jason
Stewart's idea. Boxed out good one, good one on Yeah,
I like it.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
I'll tune in Gold, Baby Gold, Let's go Here's and
Rich is right, Rich, another point for you, I don't
know how to react to this. Trauma is good for
the w n b A because you got NBA playing
games and we're talking about this, so it's it's good
for the w NBA because it's exciting. People like trauma
and we haven't seen it like we've I ever explored

(29:00):
this before in the world of sports. But right listen,
not in this way. I know that's a smaller sample
size because they did play in winning Yukon together, But
what if there's also something where it's like, all right,
people start realizing Azy Fudd plays emotional when someone is
physical with Pagebeckers or vice versa aware like they let

(29:22):
that emotional side like, yo, that was a foul And yeah,
it's a way to rattle them. Have someone the head out.
That's what I was getting out before. Like if you
were and Iron a team together, I'm not getting mad
if someone's hard fouling Cavino, it might be like, that's
why teammate. But if you have that next level of
relationship with someone, you're going to take those things personally.
This could get good, this could get juicy. I think
it's a great storyline. Tonight is your WNBA draft. Truthfully,

(29:45):
this is the story that makes you realize there's a
WNBA draft. Before DB's update, Dan Byer's update, let's take
a few quick phone calls and chop it up with
the Fox Sports Radio Nation eight seven, seven ninety nine
on Fox Who we got the n EG. Let's start
in Columbus, Ohio.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
HR executive Tyler Tyler, Yeah, he works in HR, break.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
This down for us, man, what are your thoughts? Can
you can you ask about the name? Can you ask
about the nature of relationships?

Speaker 7 (30:13):
Most definitely cancel. Most companies are going to have some
type of policy around workplace relationships. And I mean I
have it today where you got a husband and wife
and stuff like that working for the same manager. Where
you run into the issue is when it's when they
are within each other as kind of reporting structure, so
one reporting to the other or reporting to someone who

(30:33):
reports to the other. That's when you want to try
to keep them separate. I actually had one time we
acquired a company made all these founders super super rich.
We're talking high eight digits, millions of dollars. We set
out a business president to go lead this group from
our from within and uh. Then about a year later,
she comes forward and says, Hey, it's going real well

(30:55):
out here. I'm actually now dating one of the founders
and I need to report it. So we take it.
We're like, okay, listen, like we got to give you
a little slap on the wrists. You need to tell
the whole founder's team everyone that you're in a relationship.
We gotta make this.

Speaker 5 (31:09):
Up and up.

Speaker 6 (31:11):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Think about the couple that was caught at the Coldplay concert.
Wasn't the big discrepancy, not that they were cheating, but
in that corporate structure, didn't one of them report to
the other. And that's the that's the no though, that's
the no.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
And then the show The Office touched on that where
Michael and Jan. Jan is Michael's boss, and then they
start dating and then it leaks out, and then they
have to do depositions and then Jan ends up getting
reassigned or loses her job. I can't remember, but yeah,
it's like a whole mess.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
How awkward is that because we've seen it at every
company you worked at, where it's like he's dating her,
she's dating him, she's dating her with she loves him,
but he loves that guy over there. I remember seeing
How awkward is that when you think you have to
sit down with HR and be like, hey, Cindy, just
want to let you know we're sleeping together. Like, how
does that meeting go? You have to just yeah, you

(32:00):
already broke the rules. You're just confessing to them. I
get I guess it. You're confessing to a random stranger HR,
like just so you know, I'm sorry, boss, for I
have sinned.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
Oh, and then Michael starts dating the HR woman Holly.
I love that show. Quickie, Let's go to West Virginia.
Fred is in the house.

Speaker 5 (32:19):
All right, guys, I'm so glad I went after the
HR guy because as a dude, I've got a bus
Cabino's balls a little bit. Dude, you're killing me with
this talk. Okay, first you describe it as sticky, and
now you're calling it juicy.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Okay, come on, Well, I mean, I meant I use
those words on purpose, curve. I mean, I mean, I
think we know where we're headed here. What I find
most interesting is the fact that we never had to
explore these complexities for the in the teams we rooted

(32:53):
for in the past. So I think that's pretty interesting
and I'm surprised, are we like one of the first
shows Dan to bring this up today? I think, so, yes,
you know, what about opposing what about a peg stan
damn argument? Man? What about opposing arenas? Have you thought
like what if signs and heckling? Like there could be
some you know, some caddy stuff.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
I think that most people are above the immature stuff
that that could happen, Okay, And that's why I think
it's such a sports story.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
I like to think that, but I feel like every
time I think people are mature enough, you see how
people go about their business and yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
Yeah, I just I think that the crowd that you're in,
I think would prevent that sort of deal. But I'm
just going to go back to the Draft Day movie.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
Right.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
We laugh at Draft Day and Kevin Costner. The whole
premise of that movie was how many people showed up
to bow Callahan's birthday party, right, or how many of
his teammates did. And we laugh at it, but we're like,
you know, that seems like an NFL sort of thing
to do. And so when we're talking about again the
decision to make the draft pick for this person, this

(34:01):
isn't just a throwaway thing. I just I think it's
very significant. Yeah, and I think it's so interesting and
just what you guys have talked about in the last
forty minutes.

Speaker 1 (34:08):
Because Dan, I'm gonna somehow tie it back to my
Mets as we get into your update in just a second.
What happened in the Mets offseason. They unloaded a lot
of players because of wives and players like, there's all
this thing that Lindor didn't get along with Nimo or
Alonzo and the wives didn't get along. That was a
big factor. Imagine a full fledged relationship between star teammates. Yes,

(34:31):
it could get crazy, absolutely well, well, we got your dB.
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Give us an you guys like you guys having a
bad day and maybe you and the wife aren't getting
along with you and the girlfriend, Like I just got
to get away. Where are you gonna get away to?
You can't go to work because that's where she is.
You probably have the same friends because you're all on
the same team in a different city. Yeah, yeah, can't
be easy. I'm gonna go sit in the car, my space.

(34:55):
I'm just going into the other bedroom, all right. NBA
news outside of the w NBA Draft tonight, Luka Doncic
expected to return to the States on Friday and rejoined
the Lakers, not to play. Still no timetable for his return,
but he's in Spain to get treatment for that injured hamstring.
That's according to ESPN. Jersey sales released guys. NBA most
popular jersey belongs to Steph Curry the Golden State Warriors,

(35:18):
with the New York Knicks getting the most merchandise sold
in team sales.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
DBE is that a surprise? Like to me, it is
like Steph Curry still Now, I'm not trying to undermine
his superstardom, but I'm surprised that's not a younger.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
I would have thought Luca or Wemby would have been
number one, right, and I think Luca was two. Wemby
I think was fourth.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
So does that prove his star power is still there
a lot of his jerseys, Yes, I think.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
I think that that's a part of it. There's also
no one else on the Warriors that you would get
a jersey of, which is I always felt like it
was the Tom Brady thing.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
And it's a jersey you could buy that will never
go out of stop when he's retired. Yeah, you my
throwback Steph jersey. Yeah, absolutely, Yeah, because a Yiannis that's
a risk, right, if you're gonna buy.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
That, that's absolutely absolutely it is, especially now. Former Providence
head coach Kim English will join MICHOELM Malone staff at
North Carolina Some day baseball. Josh Naylor having a day
for the Mariners. He's homered twice, a two run shot
and a three run shot. Mariners on top of the
Astros six to two. Playing in the six The Astros
put Tatsuya Emai on the il as the pitcher's dealing

(36:20):
with arm fatigue. Jeremy Panya on the injured list with
a strained hamstring. New York Giants on backup quarterback Brandon
Allen to a deal and after nineteen seasons, Tonight will
be the final night Jonathan Quick will man a goal
in an NHL game, announcing his retirement. Tonight's game against
the Panthers for the Rangers. Goalie will be his nine
hundred and twenty first obviously a key part of those

and Rich Davis and his time Dicky Doodle Davis for
the Tyraq Play of the Day. Oh, let's hear. The
Guardians off to a pretty good start this year. The
outstanding center field are on paternity leave, the pits swung

(38:55):
on trill deep right field Thursy gos ps day. Ramirez
has done it.

Speaker 7 (39:03):
The first Cleveland Major leaguer, dever Over of all twenty
nine other Major league teams.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
Damn the first What was that? The first Guardian? That's
what he said. Yeah, wow, pretty impressive. That is great.
Cleveland beats the Braves six zip that calls courtesy of

like mobile tire installation, tiraq dot com the way tire
buying should be and for all those that talk about Oh,
there's a you know, a couple of power teams in baseball.
There's a power couple in the WNBA. I know. Let

(39:50):
me tell you. Look at the Major League Baseball standings
thus far, other than the eleven and four Dodgers, which
is predictable, the American League, actually, Yankees, Rays and Baltimore
Yankees are stinking like a link, stinking to the high heavens.
It's early, but people get nervous nowadays, way way too early.

(40:12):
But everyone the best record in the AL East is
eight and seven. Minnesota is nine and seven, which is
two games over five hundred. They're in first place. Maybe
just that these teams are ultra competitive. But out West,
the A's and the Rangers are eight and seven. So
we're talking about an American league consisting of all around
five hundred teams. So to talk about parody and how

(40:33):
it doesn't exist in baseball so far was seeing just
no team, Like every team in the AL has at
least seven losses and we're like two weeks into the season.
Even the teams that we thought were cheeks, like the
A's are playing tough. That's the thing. So we're going
to talk some baseball because there's a rivalry between the

(40:54):
Mets and the Doyers, and they're playing Tonight's the rivalry
of the high payrolls three hundred seventy five million versus
four thirteen million, and Rich You're going right, I'll be there,
and I'm aggravated about it. Oh, I got to hear
about this, so tonight this is like, I mean, these
are good problems to have. I'm lucky enough to be

(41:15):
able to bring my family to the ballgame, but tonight
at Dodger Stadium happens to be like, Hello Kitty sweatshirt night. Yeah,
Hello kitty hoodie, and are you gonna get one? Are
you gonna wear it? I'm one hundred percent get one,
and I'll tell you why. He's gotta put the coach
Rich lettering on the back of it, though, because my

(41:37):
wife is picking you up here at Fox Sports Radio
at four o'clock when the show ends, and I'm like,
four o'clock, babe, She's like, we need to make sure
the kids are one of the first how many people
there to get the hoodie? So I'm gonna be at
Dodger Stadium where you can be rocking a this medium.
Hello Kitty sweat traffic. I didn't mean to play the
clown horn. By the way, I don't know it. It's okay.

(41:57):
I'm gonna hurt, hurt. I'm gonna feel like a clown
at Dodger Stadium two hours early just so my kids
could get a Hello Kitty hoodie. And truthfully, I think
they should give it to everyone, first of all, but
secondly I said to give you know, would you sell
this thing immediately? Not immediately there I'd put it online

(42:18):
and get my bang from my buck. There's no way
my kids are going to last a whole night if
we go two hours early, and the Mets have never
won when I've gone with my kid so frustrated, but
not I'll tell you more next

The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
