Speaker 1 (01:46):
Shout out, by the way to our buddy Rob in
San Antonio. Well bummed I didn't get a chance to
say what's up to when I was down there? He said,
you now you're trying to kiss ass right here. Ya
think it makes up for it? He said, uh that
that was a big deal. You said when hollow and
got the cowboy boots and the stuffed.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
Raccoon and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Well the Kron said that.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
Yeah, oh, the Kron said that. I'm sorry the Koran.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
When Hilly down there at Wild Bills, he got custom
cowboy hats and boots and everything, like they rolled out
the red carpet and it was a big deal because
he was a big star. There's video of that. I
watched it, and there's the love that place. Everyone loves it.
And uh, here's another question. He posts Tress. He goes,
I know you guys are busy. It's hard to jam
it all in two hours, That's what she said. But

(02:28):
he's like tonight home run Derby Schwarber and Bryce Harper
in it. What do you think Philadelphia's crowd would do
if it came down to those two? Is one more
Philly than the other?

Speaker 7 (02:43):
Yeah? Harper?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I think, I don't know. I think he's their guy,
even though Schwarber's a beast it on. I mean, isn't
Schwarber leading all of baseball and home run? Yeah, he's
he's the slugger, But I don't least also the guy
that you know hit went off one knee last year,
remember that.

Speaker 7 (02:56):
I And that'd be like asking Dodger fans to pick
between show, Hey and Free.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
What would you do?

Speaker 6 (03:01):
Honestly, if it was a home run derby and it
was down.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
To those you have to pick between two children. They're
both great. I love that and like I said, all
the new rules on over promised. I love Uh the
suggestion we talked about Bryce Harper saying that they should
use aluminum bats. Yeah, well that's not happening, but it's
a funny, uh suggestion.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
They hit about six hundred feet and murder someone.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
So we're wrapping up UFC three twenty nine and we
got one last call, but I wanted to I want
to point out one positive. Sophie Cunningham continues to be
America's sweetheart. She asked Dana White on the spot. It
wasn't a schedule thing. It was on the spot, like
I want to be a ring card girl, like just
really seizing the moment and proving to everybody how cool
she is. By the way, she looks kind of hot too,

(03:42):
kind of one of the photographers, like a lot of
the clips, like photographer was in the way. I'm like,
move your head, bro Oh.

Speaker 7 (03:49):
The next day she had a great game, but.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
She's really owning that I and I really respect it.
And it's really cool. I think she's really cool. Sophie's
stunning it. And Dana White explained, like, no, she asked
me eight seconds before I said yes, and eight minutes
before I said yes, And she went up there and
did her thing, and that was a fun highlight of
the night. She's great. But one of the missteps before
we wrap up with your phone calls, is she, of

(04:15):
course Stephenson was in the crowd, like celebrities were out.
We already said from Mel Gibson, from mister Gibson to
Mike Tyson, like you name it, UFC stars, celebrities, entertainers,
they were all there. She of course, Stephenson's a boxer
from Nork, New Jersey, That's where I was born. For reference,
He's a legend and ZUFA Boxing, which Dana White is running,

(04:37):
just recently signed him to a multimillion dollar contract. So
they zoom in on cha, course Stephenson, who's a huge
name in the fight game, and they had the wrong
name up. Dude, it was so embarrassing that we had
Jalen Williams of the Oklahoma City thunder Guard up. So
they said Jalen Williams and Dana White was so upset
about it, and if you missed it, here's what he said.

Speaker 8 (04:58):
I tell you all the time.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
Production team, we just did the White House.

Speaker 8 (05:01):
We built arena on the south lawn of the White House,
and it was the greatest thing in the world to
be there live and to watch it on TV. I
just paid Chakor Stevenson load of money. And for some reason,
we can't figure this celebrity out. They put them up
as OKC NBA player.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 8 (05:21):
I mean, it's just it's absolutely crazy. But we are
the absolute worst to ever do the celebrity thing.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
When we put celebrities up, we are the worst.

Speaker 8 (05:29):
I just had the debate in the back with my
guys while I was screaming at everybody back there, and
they said, no, Soccer's worst. Soccer shows the people and
they don't. They don't put up any graphics. Oh no,
we put a graphics and put the wrong guy's name
on it.

Speaker 7 (05:44):
We win. We're the worst.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Well, thank ya. What you're hearing is frustration because McGregor
lasted sixty nine seconds. But still they do so many
great events, but they can't get that right. It was
shaquarsee Stevenson and if you know Terrence Bud Crawford, you
know that's his protege. He's a superstar in boxing and
they got it wrong. And if we have time, Rich,
we'll talk some mistaken identity based on that. But I
also want to talk Home Run Derby right after this

(06:08):
last one. Jeez, we're all over the place today, Action
Pack Monday. We got Connor. Let's see, he wants to
talk Connor. It's Buffalo Kevin in Seattle. He's going to
close this topic out. What's up?

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Well, hey guys. First of all, I want to just
tell you guys that I love your show. Thanks man,
and listen, man, you guys have revolutionized sports radio.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
All right.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
I'm in my fifties. I went to Boston University College
of Communications. I followed Howard Stern. I lived in the
dorm seat Lawren Towers, a boss at BU College, a coom,
and I thought it was gonna be a radio guy.
Has a Howard Ster in the way he revolutionized radio.
You're doing the same thing in sports radio. It's just

(06:53):
awesome to listen to.

Speaker 7 (06:54):
Man.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Somebody cut that up and added to our promos. And
by the way, all right there he's not you that's
your new open. Yeah, we got to add this guy
to our open. I'm gonna mix it with a collage
of you two stuttering though if you if you new
through the world that I my radio come up was
at k Rock, New York, home of Howard Stern. So
I didn't work with I worked with them, not for

(07:17):
his show, but it was it was a great time
to be in radio. So to even be in the
same sentence as a major compliment, can you can you
not used to comb Howard's hair? I used to be
his hairdresser with Ralph.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Oh my gosh, well.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
You guys, I mean, man, listen, I mean every word
of it. And I just I so look forward to
when I'm in the car. I can't wait. Anyway, I
was gonna say two things if I may, you know,
here's how I do it. I get past the sixty
nine seconds. As an older guy, I've learned this great trick,
and it said, my. You know, they always ask who

(07:50):
would you to have lunch with? Who would be the
famous person from history or today of it? For me,
it's George Washington. So what I do is, if I'm
sleeping with that amazing ace, I just think that I'm
at George Washington's funeral, and you know, I can.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
I tell you it's funny you called the George Washington.
By the way, I like this guy so much, Danny
G give him an apron. Yeah, this guy canvi no
rich grilling ap.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
Yeah, because that you just want to that seemed heartfelt,
didn't seem like he was just trying to kiss as I.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Don't mean anymore he said, the George Washington. Can I
tell you there was a move back in our single days,
and again, not to be dirty here and could be
no a rich but if you were with an attractive woman,
we used to call it the maddingly was it the
Mattingly stall, the mustache the mustache stall? Like if you
were getting a little too riled up when you're with
a beautiful woman, we'd called the mustache stall. Well, you

(08:40):
just thought of Don Mattingly's mustache and you'd sort of
almost like.

Speaker 9 (08:45):
Yeah, it takes me back. What does Austin Powers say
when he sees a fen box. He's like Margaret Thatcher
naked on a cold day, Margaret Thatcha naked on a cold.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Day, exactly the mustache stall. Anyway, thank you, that guy's awesome.
Appreciate that manchet him and like I said, maybe we'll
talk a little more mistaken identity Chaque Stephenson's style based
on the fight later, but based on mistaken identity though
he said that they thought Chack Course Stephenson was a
player for the OKC Thunder. Yeah, it does make me
think of one of my favorite stories. Could I share

(09:12):
it on this very day? Well, sure, you can do
whatever you want, do you guys. I don't know if
this is a clip that you guys all know, but
it's a Cavino and Rich classic clip we used to
think was.

Speaker 6 (09:21):
The funniest thing.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
It was backstage in an award show and a guy
that's been on our show Radio Row, Danny G. We
party with him at the super Bowl. In fact, you
were having drinks with him and VIP at a serious
x M concert. Flavor Flave Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (09:38):
Then he came came on our show the very next
day on Radio Row.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
I mean, Flave's always a great guest, a really good dude.
To think where he is in our life now compared
to back of the day, like Famous MC now, he's
just like who doesn't think Flavor Flave is just like
a funny, nice guy. Right. There's a clip from back
in the day where he's backstage and maybe I'm guessing
the Grammys, VMA's, MTV Awards or something, and he goes

(10:05):
he makes eye contact with his young woman and he goes,
Gwen Steffani, Oh my god, Gwen Steffani. Boy.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
He starts hugging her and earthing it's.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Miley Cyrus, and Miley Cyrus doesn't have the heart to
tell him, Oh no, I'm not Gwen Stefani, So Miley
goes love with it. He keeps being like, oh my god,
Gwen Stefani, and Miley's just like yeah, he had to
just have like confused the moment, right, Like to mix

(10:36):
them up is odd. I think he just said the
wrong thing. I don't think he believed that. He just
said that at the time. Two blonde women that make
music out, Well, Richie, you let us into it. You
want to just roll with it? Yeah? Sure, man, are
there people that you just confuse all the time, Like
because the Shakur Stephenson thing, that was a great way
to advertise who he is and what's coming up, Like, hey,

(10:58):
there he is up and come superstar who just signed
with ZUFA boxing. They know White just signed him to
a multi millionaire deal. That's the Corus Stevenson. If you
don't know him, now you will. And instead they show
this dude and it says Jayalen Williams of the Oklahoma
City Thunder Like. They don't look at that. They don't
look at all. What was that about? Just so, based

(11:19):
on that story and based on riches Gwen Steffani story,
are there people that, for whatever reason, you always confuse
I'll give you one. Yeah, I hear. That comes to mind.
Recently I talked to you guys about how I watched
Rookie of the Year with my kids and how it
stands to test the time it really does. Rowing gardener
breaks his arm pitches in the bigs. Remember I said

(11:40):
his mentor was the Rocket and it was played by
Gary Busey to me back in the day when I
was a younger man, and I guess Nick Naughty. I
know you were gonna say Nick Nulty and Gary Busey.
In my mind they were the same guy. Yeah, very similar.
I don't know they're they're both cut from this like
neurotic like, for instance, you can't who's the bad guy
one of the lethal weapons. Gary Busey or was it

(12:01):
Nick Nulty? Do you know we had Gary first? The
first one. We had Gary Busey on our show one time,
and it was frightening. He's like, hey, you over there,
what are you looking at it? And I was like,
I'm like me, yeah, I'm talking to you, like like
you're looking at me that I can see inside your soul?

Speaker 7 (12:18):
Man, I was.

Speaker 6 (12:19):
He's like, I know what's going on. I'm like, what
can he can see?

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Dude? I swear to god that happened to me and
us and we were like, I remember, I was so
frightened by the experience.

Speaker 7 (12:27):
I remember he was like, guys, did you break one
of his art installations, like turtle?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Dude? It was the weird we got. We got the
photos to prove it was the weirdest thing. Of those
funny interviews. You were just thrown off. There's been a
few times we've been thrown off professionally, Cavino with Gary Busey.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
It was so.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
It always makes fun of me. Do you guys remember
the movie Police Academy? What do you mean do we
remember it? We watched it till the V fifteen editions
of it I'm at Miami Beach, citizens on Patrol the
fourth one, right, So anyway, the guy that Citizens.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
On Patrol bump, but the bump bum.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
The black dude that does all the impressions Michael Winslow.
I believe, yes, sir, he was on our show. And
I'm telling you, I was such a fan because I
watched all those movies High Tower.

Speaker 6 (13:16):
You know, I'm you know, mahoney Callahan.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Rich was such a fan. He used to go to
the Blue Oyster Bar for a happy hour, like at
least twice a week. Let me tell you something. I
watched those movies many, many, many many times.

Speaker 6 (13:29):
Shout out to commentaut.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Lasar Tuckie Brewster.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
So I watched all those This guy did the interview
but went and stopped doing sound effects with his voice,
and Rich was like so so ultimately distracted, like any
any answer to a question. I knew he was just
setting up an impression. So how did you get into acting?
I'm like, dude, just answer the question. He's playing like

(13:55):
air guitar, Like yeah, Rich, I've never seen Rich so flustered,
but that is true. So Nick Naughty, Nick Nolty, Gary Busey,
that's a good one. I got one, and I really
do this a lot. It's not Don Cheatle and Tim Meadows,
even though that's a joke. That's like an inside joke

(14:15):
between them. Is it Don Cheatle or Tim Medals? That's
a great game.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
Yeah, they want is the ladies man one the lady man?

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Or are they both the ladies man?

Speaker 7 (14:22):
Have you know?

Speaker 1 (14:22):
I used to confuse uh Ginobili and Belkie? I did
for years. I used to confuse Philip Drummond and Peter
Gammons all the time. Yeah, I thought they were the
same guy. If on the twenty dollars bill, Yeah that
is that Andrew Jackson or Philip Drummond.

Speaker 7 (14:36):
We know the one that still gets me Amy Adams
and Jenni Fisher bro Yes.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Yeah, because Amy Adams was just in a movie I
watched with the kids, and I was like, yeah, that's
a good one. No, this is this is a good
one because I think I'm gonna confuse you too. Everybody
knows who Matthew McConaughey is, right, but there's some movies
that Josh Lucas is in and I think it's McConaughey,
and I confuse them.

Speaker 6 (14:57):
Oh, like Sweet Home Alabama, yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Like sweet Home. Is that Josh Lucas or Matthew McConaughey
to me, Like, I don't want to see he's the
He's just a different version of McConaughey.

Speaker 7 (15:08):
In my mind.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
John makes him up.

Speaker 9 (15:09):
He's married to the very beautiful uh local weather woman
meteorologists Brianna Ruffalo.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Yeah, bro, she's got that Stuffalo. He's a lucky guy.
Yeah he is, Yeah, he is. We know her.

Speaker 6 (15:20):
So anyway, got that Stuffalo?

Speaker 1 (15:23):
What what are that's Brianna Ruffalo's got that Stuffalon? What
are those moments of mistaken identity for you where you
pulled a UFC where you're like, yeah, hey, isn't that
Jalen Williams. It's like nonsha, Chris Stevenson, You idiots? So

(15:43):
what are those people or who are those people for you?
Or moments for you where you just got it wrong
and you just always get it wrong no matter what,
there's one these people are come from the same thing.
There's one that I'll give you guys a chance to
bring it up, but there's one that might be the
best example.

Speaker 6 (15:59):
And these two actors know it to the point.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Where there was an amazing inside joke that they execute.
Is it Javier Bardam and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Speaker 6 (16:09):
No, but that's a good one. Yeah, that's a good one.
Anyone want to throw them out there?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Krin, Oh, I have one that happened to me if
you want.

Speaker 6 (16:19):
Oh, could I guess?

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Oh sure, I know. He thought he was interviewing Phil Simmson.
It was Boomerasiz. Is it one of our bosses, Don
Martin and Dan Marino? Oh yeah, Oh my god, dude,
that's what's that group of girls at the super Bowl?
Do you know the story?

Speaker 2 (16:36):
No?

Speaker 1 (16:36):
No, we're at the super Bowl. Danny g Me Cavino
are a big boss Don Martin? Who is you know,
the type of guy And I'm not just saying this,
I'm not kissing ass. He's a type of guy as
you know, sort of controls the room like he's very alpha.
My man, my man, like the center of attention everyone. Yeah,
everyone loves Don. But he's also a big guy, meaning
like six three, like he's a he's like looks like

(16:56):
he could be a former athlete. These women come up
to us and they go, we're so sorry to in
throw upt.

Speaker 7 (17:02):
Can we get a picture?

Speaker 1 (17:03):
And we were all like, I'm sorry, so we back off.
We back off, and they go to take a picture
with our boss Don and they go, who do you
think he is?

Speaker 6 (17:11):
He goes Stan Marino.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Right, Oh, it was great because a handsome dude.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
May not through for in the Yards in eighty four.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
So great it happens. Man, Mommy, I.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Facetimed with Mark Duper just as more than my man.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
I want to hear cron story. I want to hear
the conclusion your story, and then your phone calls next,
So what's your story?

Speaker 7 (17:35):
Rich quick?

Speaker 1 (17:36):
And by the way, Kron, was it when people mistaken
you for a Brad Pitt in Fight Club?

Speaker 2 (17:40):
No, but people have mistaken him for me?

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Okay. That's so. There's two actors that I'm a big
fan of both, and they're both like handsome middle aged
guys that get confused for each other. But there's a
story that's amazing, and the two people are Timothy Oliphant
and oh yeah, Josh Dumel. Yeah, they're like the same dude,
Josh Dumel and Timothy Olfant will so similar. They get
this because Olphonts and Josh Neumel are often mistaken for

(18:03):
each other. Oliphant had do mel get this allfon had
Josh Jumel posed with his family at a charity event
and that was the Christmas card. They said, doubt that
year to see if anyone noticed it, and they said
so many people didn't even notice.

Speaker 7 (18:20):
The great if if that was one of the two
of them, I'd get a neck tattoo just so I
could separate.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
I know, man. So guys, we go to you. Maybe
it's just like a weird mental block where you always
confuse the people. But based on the UFC slip up
cases of mistaken identity, we'll get to your phone calls. Uh,
phone calls, and uh, we're gonna go to the phone
calls to see who's playing. Last one's standing too. We'll
do all that next, Sam, what do you got You

(18:46):
want to give us a real quick I believe Josh
Dumel lives in the area, in this area of the
San Frando Valley because I've seen him in this building
right outside the yoga studios.

Speaker 9 (18:56):
And I've been behind him in line twice at two
different places. He must have said eleven and Pavilion's Yo.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Oh, I just was rich and I have never felt
weaker and like uglier, I should say in our lives
than when we interviewed Josh Dumel, like this guy's a
real life here.

Speaker 6 (19:12):
By Ryan Reynolds, who makes you feel a little loll
good jo that.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
When we interviewed Josh Jumil, I remember thinking, man, I
am such a putting.

Speaker 9 (19:18):
The odds that I've been behind him in line at
two different places, like maybe spread out by the two week.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Maybe's destiny.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Maybe maybe you guys are supposed to be together. Maybe
he's talking you.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Maybe you know, quit following me interestingly enough, you said
outside the studio, there's a there's a hotty yoga over here,
and a.

Speaker 6 (19:34):
Lot of celebrities go there.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
I saw.

Speaker 6 (19:35):
We just saw comedian Jeff Die there the other day.
So yeah, people people popping, all right.

Speaker 7 (36:17):
It's our tie break. It's our version of a swing
off today. Whoever comes closest, just buzz in with your
name when you're ready. Here's the question. In the modern
era of baseball, The record for most strikeouts in a
season is held by one Nolan Ryan, spinning it for
the California Angels in nineteen seventy three. How many batters
did he strike out that year?

Speaker 1 (36:38):
All right, hold on, Isaac, I've ever write down your
number because I don't want to steal yours, So write
down your number.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
I have to write it. No, I mean, I know,

Speaker 6 (36:44):
Oh you know the answer. If he knows it, he wins.
Get my guests, though, go for it.

Speaker 7 (36:50):
Yeah, because this is not a number I hear people
talking about.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
I'm going to say, I think anybody would have this
one memorized. My guest was speaking nature. I guess it
was three seventy eight. Rich, three are startlingly close?

Speaker 6 (37:03):
Really, I want hundred.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
Really that's really good your that's like really three hundred
strike I feel like it was even.

Speaker 6 (37:09):
The high three.

Speaker 7 (37:10):
Were you going to say you were? Okay? And Isaac,
why don't you give us the answer?

Speaker 2 (37:14):
There was three hundred and eighty three?

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Oh wow, that's a well yeah, close the game, closer game.

Speaker 7 (37:24):
What a good guess, Rich counts and horseshes and handgrid.
It's wow. That Silos fifth victory filling in for Dancle

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Now, we talked a lot about UFC this weekend, and

last phone call on that. Other people you just mistake
and your stories. Feel free to share him at Covino
and rich Who do we got, Danny J.

Speaker 7 (37:53):
His name is Rock.

Speaker 12 (37:59):
First time actually second time, Carr, but my first time
with my wife's she's here with us.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
I think that the big mix up.

Speaker 5 (38:09):
I don't know if you guys had.

Speaker 12 (38:10):
Mentioned is Holland from Norway looks like Lego from Ghostbusters.
And I would love to know who were your favorite
like who you were scared of as horror movie as kids.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
It's a great question. Freddy Krug, Freddy Krueger. Freddy Krueger
always freaked me out. I was frightened and it wasn't
even a I know it sounds this sounds terrible, but
when I was a kid, I was so frightened of
the elephant.

Speaker 7 (38:34):
Man.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
I know he's not a horror movie, you know, spectacle,
but I was fright not a real person. Yeah, it
was a real person, John Merrick. But I saw that
as a kid.

Speaker 7 (38:43):
After you.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
Now, I was so scared. I was scared of Freddy Krueger,
but in like real life, but not in a way.
You guys remember the wrestler the Missing Link. You were
scared of him.

Speaker 6 (38:53):
I remember my parents would be like, yo, Richie, you
were so scared of him.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
The Missing Link scared me, you.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Know, scared me more than the actual Jason's and and
Freddy's of the world, like little kids singing, like the
haunted bots of eighties horror movies like just the One
two Fat The Strangers is scary too. Modern day, you guys.

Speaker 7 (39:14):
Might have seen reruns of this, like my older brother
and I did in the eighties Land of the Lost cheesy,
corny TV show. Now I look back, I'm like, why
were we scared of those slee stacks?

Speaker 1 (39:24):
I know exactly what we're talking about. I used to
love that show. Is random things like that.

Speaker 7 (39:28):
They remade it. They remade that.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
I was. I was scared a large march too. That
scared a lot of people though, that would be a
lot of people's answer. When you're a kid, like certain
things would freak you out. And yeah, it's a funny.
It's a funny question. And thanks for hanging with us, buddy,
Thank you tell.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
Them large March that.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
I remember being very frightened by that claymation.

Speaker 6 (39:50):
Little boy.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
All right, So we're Cavino and rich at Koviino rich
in fact. Questions like he just posed are the dumb
things we discuss uncensored and unleashed on our Patreon every
so again Patreon dot com slash Covino and Rich and

(40:34):
this year is what do they do now?

Speaker 6 (40:35):
The legend? What's the name of it?

Speaker 1 (40:36):
I'm sorry. I forget when they have like one legendary
guy in the All Star Game is like the Legends
pick or something like that. Remember it was Kershaw. It's
Verdlander this year, and he was talking about he remembers
the last time he faced Big Poppy, and he remembers
the last time he faced Derek Gedo, like I.

Speaker 7 (40:53):
Guess, Commissioner's legend.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
The Commissioner's legend pick and Verdlander knowing that these guys
actually remember I remember I jammed you Poppy mile high
pop up and you just missed it. Dude, you be
surprised what these players remember. I saw Reggie Jackson quizzed
by a fan recently and you're like, you know, tell
us the lineup in the I don't know, random like

(41:15):
playoff game that he was in. He remembered the lineup,
who pitched and everything else. And speaking of All Stars,
maybe we'll talk about this tomorrow. Zach Wheeler felt disrespected,
and I sort of agree with him, and I'll explain
why I guess tomorrow. He was he wasn't originally selected
for the All Stars and he was ten and one
and he's saying, like, well, then I'm not playing so

(41:36):
we'll talk some all stars tomorrow becus. Tomorrow's the game.
Tonight's a derby. It's a snub. But then people drop
out or they won't play. So they're like, all right,
well how about you. You know you're on the team,
and he's like, yeah, whatever, I'm not your first pick.
