Speaker 2 (01:06):
Baby. Yeah. Man, Now you know Cove, I got to
read the little sports fun facts for you guys, and
I did want to point out, you know, when you
see athletes are on the il, or they're a little
banged up, or they miss a game, can I tell
you there's two I guess you would say things that
would sideline you injuries that sounds sort of weak, sort
(01:30):
of like you're a weak ass, but they can really
debilitate you. We've talked before about how like a toe
injury sounds so silly, but how many toe injuries have
taken out legends.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Bob Marley died from a toe injury, didn't he.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
I mean, yeah, but there's so many legends that you know,
a toe injury could really sidelight a great dude.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
We just mentioned Connor McGregor. That's why his last fight
with Chandler was canceled. And how about Bones Jones when
he broke his toe in the ring when we're at Nightmare,
it was hanging off.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
That was horrible.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
There have been plenty of Major League Baseball, as I said,
toe stars that their their their foot seats, their tootsies.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
That's what took oh yeah, right, so du Chang Ming Wan?
Remember Chan Ming Wong from the Yankees was dominant, like
nineteen wins. He hurt his foot an Inner League play.
It hurt his toe, I believe, rounding bases and was
never the same Again, Am I wrong in saying Mingwong
could have been one of the greats?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Am I wrong in saying Mickey Mantle had some type
of toe injury?
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Dude, Daron judging that week ass season when he stubbed
his toe at Dodger Stadium. Yeah, so all right, remember
when he crashed through the wall like Herman Minster.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
So all right? So I made my point with the toe,
like a toe, it seems like the weakest ass little injury.
But it's like, you got a bad toe, you can't
play sports.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Nah, it messes you up for sure.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Bob Marley he got a skin cancer under his toenail
and it's spread.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Yeah, sad.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
So I bring that up only because the other thing
that you hear once in a while and you're like,
get out there and play your big woofs. I've had
and this rarely happens, thank god. Knock on wood the
last hour of our show. I've had like a debilitating,
a debilitating migraine. I haven't had a headache this bad
in five years. And you've seen guys like they had
to sit it out because of a migraine, and you
(03:20):
think to yourself, like, what a woos. There's no way
on earth if you have a bad migraine. Imagine being
in a competitive sport with a migraine headache.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Austin Wells recently hit the eel due to you, like,
random migraines and headaches uncontrollable. At least that's what they
were saying. He's also batting one forty eight, so I
don't know if that was part of the reason.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Yeah, I think that, and he's batting one forty eight.
But yeah, so migraines in tow both sound like little
woos injuries or whatever. But no, man, it's it's Oh.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
It's extual powering through. Man, that's gotta be tough.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Well, no, it's just a pain of the ass. So
if I look like death on our YouTube channel, I'm like, man,
I look what is my lighting off?
Speaker 3 (03:57):
I'm like, no, I just like pale as hell, dude.
I just got back from the gym. I was in
the sauna before the show.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Started.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
It's almost sweaty and sticky. So I no worries man. Wait, yeah,
fun casual Friday.
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Guys looked like medical Friday.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
I look like trash.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Today it's an extra casual Friday.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Danny, let me give you two things that happened on
this day in the world of sports, just to take
you back. We're gonna go back to twenty nineteen, just
to show you how time flies. Before we even met you, Danny,
a few years before we started doing this show together.
Today was the day Kawhi Leonard signed his deal with
the Clippers and everyone thought, oh, the Clippers were gonna
get there finally. Today was the day. And as we
(04:35):
see Kawhi like his whole isn't his trade on hold
right now from the Clippers?
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Biggest done until they're done investigating it.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
Yeah, biggest free agency contract bust in LA sports history.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
So today was the day where Clippers fans tell Ben
Maller you send them a car tape like, hey, congrats,
this was the anniversary of the of the day you
thought you had hope.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
He'll just change the topic to Lebron and.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Then Cavino for the Yankees, one of the biggest Japanese signings.
Do you consider it a bust or not? In nineteen
ninety seven, you were young, you were a young warthog.
When he was a young warthog, as they called him,
the toad, Hideki Rabu made his debut for the Eggs.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
No Steinberinger called him a fat toad is what he
called him, Fat toad. Robert was a solid player, man. Yeah,
he was well liked. He wasn't as dominant as everyone
wanted him to be, but he was like you know,
in retrospect. Yeah, at the time, everyone was like, ah.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Man, well that was around the time.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
In retrospect, Yeah, he was solid, dude.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Cove consider in the last that's almost that's twenty nine
years ago. Over the last twenty five plus years, there's
been a lot of Japanese players that were busts and
others that end up being sho Heo Tani. So it's
so hit or miss right, and Irabu was almost thirty
years ago today.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
And the game has changed as a result of all
these players, from Hideki Matsui to like you said, show
heye today. So rich get this, this is how it works.
Let's talk about hate. Are they hating or just stating
just a world of hate that we live in and
social media and you know, smack talking in life or
(06:07):
should you look at it? Like, man, it's just envy
and we got to take it as a compliment, right,
Like you're you're nobody unless somebody's hating on you.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
I mean, look at the biggest people in every industry,
right they're getting the most hate, like Tom Brady, Lebron James,
even in our world, Steven A. Smith, Colin cow Hurd,
Like who if you're you're you ain't nobody unless someone's
hating on you. In fact, you know, the last couple
of weeks, we've had some pretty viral clips on social media.
We've had a good week. Do you see the amount
(06:35):
of hateful comments in our in our threads? Now?
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Honestly, I've I've responded to a few, but I've ignored
most of them. I've been consumed with like pain and
the ass teenage daughter stuff is.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
D G danny gee. Remember the other day we talked
about how the Egypt coach in the World Cup lost
as cool?
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Oh you know what's funny about that is people that
are hating on the clip haven't watched it all the
way through. Because we actually end up not justifying it,
but explaining why he lost his temper.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yo, you know how many people like you two as
clouds stain your lane. You don't know soccer, A few
like you know the comments.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Soccer knowledge is irrelevant to watching someone you know lose
their cool on the sidelines.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
So to answer part one of your questions, most of
when you say, are people hating or just stating? I
think most of the time, in the world of social
media and feedback on x and Instagram and TikTok and
YouTube videos, the answer most of the time is.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
You're not doing it right. Hey, yeah, you're not. If
you're not getting it, you're not doing it right. Because
get this. I think the ultimate compliment on the flip side, though,
is when you're respected by your peers, right, And that's
what makes this even more unfortunate. When it comes to
the w NBA All Star voting works like this, and
(07:55):
I had a double check, is fifty percent fan voting,
twenty five percent player voting. So it's like your colleagues
and everything, twenty five percent media voting. And that's how
you make the WNBA All Star Team. Now, this week
was the return of iow, Sam's favorite player, Caitlyn Clark.
(08:16):
That's why he's been in such a good moon all week.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Look, it was her return after about two weeks, but
kind of with a whimper. Oh yeah, it was a whimper.
It was sixteen minutes, nine points for rebound, four turnovers,
and then she didn't play last night against the Phoenix.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Yeah, and her return came in a loss against LA Yeah,
one six ninety two or something like that, So it
was sort of like a return. But the other side
story here is that according to her colleagues, the players
who have the vote, they voted her the eleventh best
guard in All Star voting, and Candice Parker actually spoke
(08:53):
out about it.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
But hold on quick, just to put a perspective. This
isn't the WNBA. I'm sorry, this is not the NBA
with his thirty you know teams and maybe even more
in a couple of years. How many teams are in
the WNBA? Do we know off the top of our heads?
Speaker 1 (09:05):
I was Sam, as there, I think it's a let's see,
it's isn't it half that?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
I'll cut up right now.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I just thought you might know since seventeen.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Yeah, actually you're the guy that you're the guy that
doesn't fifteen.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Yeah, it's not a lot fifteen fifteen, So yeah, it's
a great point.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
Rich.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
They voted her eleventh best guard in All Star voting,
and it has to make you wonder, like, I mean,
is this this pure envy? Is this immaturity? What are
they doing? I don't want to keep saying the same
things about like the WNBA getting in their own way
and not embracing her.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
It says like, how do you view this?
Speaker 3 (09:43):
And it doesn't matter what we think, Like we said,
Candice Parker spoke about it, and if you missed it,
take a list and then we'll get your feedback.
Speaker 6 (09:50):
It's also kind of crazy, like I wholeheartedly believe that
there needs to be some rules with the WBA players
because this is getting out of hand. Kaylen Clark voted
eleventh best guard by WBA players. Is that's crazy? Kelsey
Plumb finished twelfth in player rank, But she'd be percolating
all over your deepense you be chasing her downhill on screen.
(10:13):
Kind of it's kind of crazy, Like I I hardily well,
I think people need to look at themselves in the
mirror and realize, like, man, you got some.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
You got some insecurities.
Speaker 6 (10:23):
If you're sitting down a foot and Caitlin Clark as
the eleventh best guard, y'all, y'all need to go to
a therapist and figure out what childhood issues you have,
because if you're sitting there and look at yourself in
the mirror and putting her as eleventh best guard and
you're putting you with eighth best like, come on, and
Kelsey Plum is the twelfth now maybe games because she's
(10:44):
been her This is crazy.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
And you know, it just proves everything that we say
and speculate week after week when it comes to her. Like,
if you want the actual proof that they're just against
her for all the wrong reasons, it's right there. It's
right there.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
There's your pudding. If you want the proof of the pudding, pudding,
break out the pudding. It's wild to be Covino. And listen,
people love to try to make this about you know,
race or sexuality or you know, they try to bring
it all these external social issues. Can't it just be
that seems to be a lot of haters, people that
just don't want to give her love, like.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
They don't want her to get the attention that they've
been trying to get for all these years. A lot
of these players isn't.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Isn't the popularity that Kitlyn Clark and you can throw
an Angel Reese and Asia Wilson, but mostly Katelyn Clark
and especially her little beef with Angel Reese, Sophie Stunningham
and the love a little Sophie point lately.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
But you don't think you're casting a fishing reel. There is, yeah,
trying to catch me some sofa.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Some are arguing that should be the new w NBA logo, right.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Like someone had a I don't know if there's this
AI or not, but there was like someone with a
foam finger of Sophie Cunningham as the foam finger pointing
are and they're like, this is a great idea merchandise.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
But but it's not even speculation anymore when the proof
is in the figgy pudding, like you said, like when
it came to their voting, and again it could have
been it could have been a way to prove like, no,
we're not hating on her, because you got to put
your differences aside if you're given the vote, and most
people handle this diplomatically, like hey, even if I don't
like you personally, like, yeah, you're getting the vote, You're
(12:21):
you're a prominent player in the w NBA. They voted
her eleventh, the eleventh best guard in the league.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Sometimes she looks like the eleventh best card in leg
I mean like, oh, you're going to get you actually
justify this.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
I mean, I'm not gonna share on her first comeback game,
no doubt.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
I mean there's there's she's had injury issues, she's been inconsistent.
It's like there' she doesn't have Like she's really only
about a season in two thirds through her actual career
because she's missed so much time.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
Instead of what is the All Star Game? Isn't it
just a big fan fest for the most part. Isn't
it who the fans want to see?
Speaker 4 (12:57):
You know?
Speaker 3 (12:58):
I mean Aaron Judge, any injured player, if they're a star,
they're still making the All Star team because that's who
the fans and that's why they.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
Put the that's why they put the fans in charge
of the All Star Gameing a lot your kids when
they were kids, I guarantee that not all your favorite
players had the best first half of the MLB season.
But guess who was a shortstop every year Ozzie Smith.
Guess who was stealing bases? Ricky Henderson? They were automatics
because that's who the fans want to see and the hangup.
I'll always have Sam, even though I don't have the
(13:27):
knowledge and I don't really have the interest much in
the WNBA. But doax are facts? I do a migrate
what fax are facts? If not for Kitlyn Clark, there's
no way on planet Earth that the team salary cap
would have gone from one point five million dollars to
seven million, and there's no way Supermax contracts would have
(13:48):
gone from two hundred thousand dollars to over a million dollars.
Kaitlyn Clark. Caitlyn Clark is responsible with the help of
ancillary characters like the angel Reeses of the world, where
they took a sport that was flailing, gave it a
little life, and now it's on a great path.
Speaker 6 (14:04):
Now.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
I'm not saying yeah, I think. I'm not saying she's the.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Even if she's struggling. Even if she's struggling this season,
right Sam, uh, and you're her biggest defender, I don't
need to tell you even if she's struggling she's one
of the bigger stars in the league, but they don't
treat her or respect her that way at all.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
When she struggles and she's like one of six from
three like she was the other night, She's still throwing
dime passes out there, She's still assisting. She could like
get a double double without even you know, she could
do it with rebounds and assists.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Say if need be Sammy boy. When Fernando Tattis Junior
has only five home runs and he's struggling offensively and it's like,
what where's his power? Or Vladdie Junior, other Major League
Baseball players don't write them off. They just say, hey,
he's having a rough moment. He's still a stud. During
the World Baseball Classic, all the guys on the team
all sort of agreed, like, Yo, Tattis Junior is the guy.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
Way Biddy Laddy Junior had to take himself out because
he's like, no, I need to focus on my team
and getting better, you know. Otherwise there everyone wanted him
there because he's a star. Regardless of his performance so far.
You have a rough moment here there.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
And I'm not saying Kaitlin Clark's the best player because
I'm not naive. I know enough to know she's not
the best player, but it is wild to think I
would think based I would think the opposite Kavino, based
on what she brought for these women, travel, accommodation, salary,
a Booston pie, already eyes on the game. You would
(15:31):
think that they would almost be the opposite. It would
be like, thank you, Caitlin, thank you so much for
doing this. But instead it's like.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
F you's the opposite. That's what I'm saying. What could
have been the ultimate compliment, right because, like, it means
a lot that our listeners love us, and that's really all.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
That matters at the end of the day and the
middle and the beginning of the day. But it really
is a major compliment when people who do what we
do for a living.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
Say, you know what, I want to punch him in
the face. But these guys are good at what they do.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
You know, a lot of people, a lot of players
feel about Kaylyn Clark like she rubs them the wrong way.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
But they're not caving her any credit though. That's the
thing right there.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Show there shows that I don't necessarily like, but I'm
not naive. I'm like, yeah, they're a big time they're
really good.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
And they didn't and they didn't cause your salary to
go up by like eightfold, you know exactly.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Exactly honestly, like I respect and enjoy like a Colin
or Dan Patrick. That would be like us not voting
them into the All Star Game.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, and don't pick our word for it. M Candice
Parker's saying it, like the come on, guys, that's ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Kaylee's any accountable. Some people come out, uh I think,
like I want to say, Alex Morgan, the former uh,
you know, soccer player, she came out and was defending Kaylin.
And then I think a broadcaster came out and was like, yeah,
the eleventh ranking is just kind of ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
And it's got to be a crappy feeling too when
you're just trying to play basketball or whatever it is
that you do and everyone's against you for no reason
at all, for for for absolutely like yeah, no reason.
In fact, they like Rich said, they should be giving
you high fives. So You're feedback is appreciated. Thank you, guys.
I'm seeing a lot of a lot of interesting feedback
(17:06):
in our YouTube chat. Some I don't want to read
read it to it dude, No, no, noyep really don't want to,
but if you want to chime in and see it yourself,
I'm also trying to get people to check it out
for yourself. We're streaming live. You could watch the show
and chime in at Covino and Rich FSSR if you
want to show your thoughts on this, or you can
call us at eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox
(17:26):
What's Up?
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Remember remember we had that fun conversation about Tom Hanks yesterday.
We got so much great feedback of people giving their
favorite Tom Hanks movies and his best character is on
a seventieth birthday. But what do we say? Hey, you
can't mention Forrest Gump. It's too what obvious to me?
The WNBA's popularity is popular and it has a had
(17:51):
a big, you know, spike because of who Kitling Clark.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
It's too obvious and her rivalries and et cetera.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
So it's something are too obvious. And you know, it's
also too obvious to point to sexuality and race? Can
it be something else? Can it just be like yo,
why you hate?
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Like?
Speaker 3 (18:09):
It doesn't need it's envy?
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Period?
Speaker 1 (18:10):
It does take race out of it. It's envy, you
know what.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
It doesn't need to be. It doesn't need to be
it's because she's white or she's not a lesbian. It
doesn't need to be that. It could simply be like, yo,
why you hate on someone that helped you?
Speaker 3 (18:22):
All right, so your thoughts are appreciated. Now, if you

I sweep in the nation. Brain Wave, Do.
Speaker 8 (22:01):
Coveno and Rice really share the same brainday rich chatting.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Chadny rays some Pacific Joe to measure you.
Speaker 8 (22:09):
Is there crew not far behind? We're one. Welcome to Brainway.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
Try to make sense of the brain.
Speaker 8 (22:16):
It's easy. We drop on sports, music and entertainment questions
and if you match with enough of these bosums, you win.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
I love that.
Speaker 9 (22:25):
On the count of three, reveal brainway one, two, three, Yeah,
walked in.
Speaker 8 (22:33):
Guys, you're on the same waveplank right now?
Speaker 4 (22:36):
All right, Happy Friday.
Speaker 5 (22:39):
Yeah, questions in this game are all subjective. You just
need to try to match the brain of CNR and
the crew. All right, going to get our contestant from
the studio lines, and then I'll quickly explain the rules.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
First one through. Dave in Virginia Beach.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
David, Hey, Hey, what's up?
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Hey, Dave?
Speaker 2 (22:55):
What's up? Holly?
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Hey, Dave? What do you do for a living?
Speaker 2 (22:58):
There?
Speaker 4 (23:00):
A nurse?
Speaker 1 (23:00):
He'll beg to be a drug and alcohol we have fus.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Very cool, dude, that's a great thing you're doing.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
Man, nice man, all right, I got five rounds ready
to go. Our contestant needs to win two of them
to be the champ and walk away with one of
these summer grill and aprons.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
I'm wearing on camera.
Speaker 5 (23:13):
Nice, I'm gonna ask a question, give three debatable answers.
The six of us on the show are going to
write down our answers on these dry erase boards our
YouTube channel.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
What Rich said yesterday? Like that should be your gimmick.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Like Danny Cheese, the producer wearing an apron all the
sausage man.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
All the time, and at any moment he pulls off
like a sausage of us grill.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
You could see the fun on our YouTube channel.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
On the count of three, Dave is going to shout
out his answer and try to match with four out
of the six of us to win the round or
no matter his answer, if all six of us happen
to match, he gets the back door cover.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Nice.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
All right, ready for round one? Yeah, there we go.
Let's start with the relationship category. You look down at
your phone and you see this from the person you've
been dating for three months. What's worse? They left you
on red? They typed so many paragraphs to you that
you need eye drops, or they put a thumbs up
on your last text.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
Which one's worse?
Speaker 5 (24:13):
They left you on red they typed so many paragraphs
so you need eye drops, or they put a thumbs
up on your last text.
Speaker 6 (24:21):
They left you on red.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
I didn't even need the count of three.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
Yeah, I'm locked in anyway.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
I'm locked. But you gotta wait for Daniel.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
All good?
Speaker 5 (24:29):
All right, so he says left on red. We start
with Steve Covino.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Yeah, same thing, unread equals disrespect.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
I wrote, all right, and how about you, Rich Davis?
Speaker 2 (24:40):
The long paragraphs? You know, I'll be mildly sexist and
say a lot of women are long winded. I mean,
I'm like, I'm a long winded so the paragraph doesn't
bother me. What was the third one?
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Denny thumbs up?
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Thumbs up? Young people are offended by that. I'm not,
but I am offended on red?
Speaker 4 (24:57):
All right? All right, and we go.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
To brand We go to brand O, pay some respect. Yeah,
left on red. I mean that's got to be the
worst one. If they give a thumbs up like that
doesn't mean that, that doesn't mean it's like you look
at your phone all those times and you care so little.
Yeah dandy, Yeah, Cauvino just nailed it.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Brand that nailed it. When when you realize how often
you look at your phone to not respond to someone,
it's like, oh.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
What do you think by her? Left unread? Oh it
gets the round.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
Everybody else say on red, I was going the other
way because thumbs up when you're dating somebody, who are
you the fon?
Speaker 4 (25:35):
What do you work at? The DMV? Right right?
Speaker 1 (25:38):
It's like a dad would give the thumbs up, you know, okay,
I also said read receipt.
Speaker 5 (25:44):
I guess I could call it. So yeah, not bad, Dave.
You are halfway to one of these grill and aprons.
We go to round two. Let's go to cruising. Which
cruise ship would you rather be on? One heading to
the Caribbean, Alaska or South East Asia? That would be Thailand.
So the Caribbean, Alaska or Southeast Asia? All right, Well,
(26:10):
writing our answers down, think about it. Hey, everybody locked in,
Locked up? Sam still working on his answer. Sam's coogan,
how to sell Dave. We need your answer in the
count of three, one.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Two three Caribbean, he says, Caribbean. We go in reverse order, iowa, Samuel.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Caribbean's a good answer. I didn't went with the Southeast Asia, okay,
I need the food's a little better for me.
Speaker 5 (26:39):
It was between the Caribbean or Alaska. People say Alaska
is like a one time, like a like a what
should I say, a bucket list trick? So I went
that way the glaciers and the the animals you see shoreline,
would you say, dB.
Speaker 9 (26:55):
I not only said Alaska. I tried to draw Alaska
on my map.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Ah, yeah, I mean it's a tough answer. What did
you do, beefcake?
Speaker 4 (27:04):
Brandon?
Speaker 1 (27:05):
All right? I went with Thailand, Southeast Asia. Yeah, I
can't believe how Philippines.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
There's other places you can have by not on the
brainway we are, Caribbean Queen, I want some war, some sunshine.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
What'd you say, rich?
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Yeah, Como doesn't care about me all of a sudden.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
Okay, it's because you're not sitting next to him today.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
I said, Alaska, Because Caribbean, you want to be sitting
on an all inclusive or some I'm like, yeah, Resord,
you know. And if you go to Asia a place
like that, you'd probably want to do a little more exploring.
So I think Alaska, get back on that cruise ship,
you know, because it's nice.
Speaker 5 (27:40):
All right, let's go to round three loud sports. Who
would upset your dinner table more if they were invited
to Thanksgiving and began to argue with your family? Oh, boy,
Steven A Smith, Mad Dog Russo or Skip Bayless?
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (27:55):
Who would upset your dinner table more if they were
invited to Thanksgiving and began to argue with your uncle?
Stephen A Smith, Mad Dog Russo or Skip Bayless?
Speaker 4 (28:08):
Like I'm hearing the three voices in my head right now.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Locked.
Speaker 8 (28:10):
There are you?
Speaker 4 (28:13):
All right?
Speaker 5 (28:13):
We're all writing our answers down everybody locked. Okay, Dave,
we need your answer on the counter of three one
two three. I'll think he says, Skip Bayless, Steve Covino,
let's say you.
Speaker 9 (28:27):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
I can't imagine my dad stephen A having discussions with
the blasphemous stephen A, especially about the Lakers this week.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Oh my god, because and triples down left and right?
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Kiss is? I think stephen A there's like a charming
funniness to him. We've met him. To me, mad dog Russo,
I'd want to have Thanksgiving with Skip is the worst.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
I went you Skip gets a point there from Rich
all right, Brandon, Yeah, I went with Skip Bayless. Stephen
A can be super cordial. Skip is just charming.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
Yeah, he's a rage baiter at heart, so he'll do I.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Don't think I remember. I don't think I've ever seen
a clip of Skip where I'm like, I like that guy.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
That's a good point. Okay, So I want to skip
Dan Byer.
Speaker 9 (29:16):
I'd like to have steven A just so he could
say some things to my family that I can't say.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
You know.
Speaker 5 (29:23):
I think it's because his voice irritates me the most.
Other three I actually said mad Dog.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
I can imagine.
Speaker 5 (29:33):
So it all comes down to Iowa, Samuel, Wait.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
We have how many four?
Speaker 4 (29:38):
We have three?
Speaker 5 (29:39):
I believe yeah, there's three yeah, three for Skins down
to Sam.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
Three for Skip Well. To be honest, I think all
these guys off the mic would be somewhat polite at
your dinner table. I went with mad Dog, though, actually,
like Skip, Skip's brother is a famous chef, and I
think Steve would be totally polite. I think they'd all
be two.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Mad Dog Russol. He famously has the Mad Dog Radio
dinners and everyone talks about how he's so much funny
half a gummy.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
I didn't like those the best. I think like you
should have gone like Portnoy. He need get to argue,
he'd argue, Man, I.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
Thought you had that one.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
I'd want that guy dinner.
Speaker 5 (30:17):
All right, let's go to round four. You got two
more categories here, buddy, gonna go to Chicken Chicken under
the Sea today. Jessica Simpson turns forty six, Which of
these three in her honor? Which of these three reality shows?
Was the worst, Brittany and the worst. Yeah, Brittany and
Kevin Chaotic, The Anna n Cole Show or Here Comes
(30:38):
Honey Booboo. Which of those three reality TV shows was
the worst? Brittany and keV, the Anna Cole Show or
Here Comes Honey Booboo.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
There's two front runners that should be pretty obvious.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
Yeah, all right, we're all writing our answers down. Everybody
locked in. All right, Dave, we need your answer in
the count of three one, two.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
Three, Bridey and keV, Brittany and keV. All right, Iowa, Sam,
we start with you. See.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
I thought that was the that was not even in
the top two. I went with honey boo boo. All right,
we might get a back door cover. I also said,
honey boo boo dB. I did not, I said and
Nicole Show. Yeah, that was the second. That was the
one fighting for first place.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
All right, he gets one point.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
Brandon No, he said, oh, I'm said yeah, Brittany, He's yeah,
he did.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
I went with honey boo boo.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
I don't know any give Dan byro a buzzer.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
I don't know any of these show and it's too young.
Honey Booboo seems like I've definitely seen something of that,
and it was really annoying. Something I think he'd.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
Really be, you'd be, you'd be into honeyboob I think.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Our Go Go Juice was Mountain Dew was that.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
I think the Honey Boo Boo was just so ridiculous.
It was funny and you could almost laugh at them,
I think. And Nicole Smith it was just hot Brittany
and Kevin that never took off. That was a weak
ass show. Brittany and Kevin all.
Speaker 5 (32:03):
You could smell Honeybooble through the TV.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
Back way.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
Yeah, the other two shows I remember. I don't even
I barely remember Brittany and Kevin. It has to be
the one.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Brittany and who's keV by the way?
Speaker 4 (32:21):
All right, it comes down to the last category, round five.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
All right, let's all try to be in the same
brain wave.
Speaker 4 (32:29):
All Right, we're gonna finish.
Speaker 5 (32:30):
We're gonna finish by going to a category called on
demand audio. Just based on the name of the podcast,
which of these would you click on?
Speaker 4 (32:39):
First?
Speaker 5 (32:41):
Echoes of Time, Binge and Cringe or Whisper files. Just
based on the name of the podcast, which of those
would you click on first echo Echoes of Time, binge
and cringe or Whisper Files.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
Hang on, Dave, don't give us your answer yet.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
You're on a road trip. You don't know what these
podcasts are about, but just based on the type.
Speaker 3 (33:05):
Yeah, all right, locked, all.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
Right, everybody locked, locked, all right. David's time for you now, one, two.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Three, banging crash for two hundred, He says binge in cringe.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Steve Covino Did he just say that because it was
easier to remember, because it rhymed? Because I didn't say that.
I said the echoes of time?
Speaker 4 (33:27):
All right? Rich Davis, how about you?
Speaker 2 (33:29):
Echoes of time could be about any boring ass stuff.
What was the third one? Danny?
Speaker 4 (33:34):
Uh, Whisper Files the same thing?
Speaker 2 (33:36):
I thought, Ben and cringe. At least it might be
about some dumb shows we watch.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Okay, I boom. He gets a point right there. Branded
I went with Whisper Files.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Maybe I thought of like suspense.
Speaker 3 (33:49):
Maybe it was a suspenseful show.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
He needs to close three for three here to win,
Dan byer.
Speaker 9 (33:55):
Well, I got a secret. It ain't happening Whisper Files. Man,
I did say binge and cringe and Sam, what did
