Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies and Jules.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
You want experience during your football season, Well, buckle up,
sweet cheeks. What's always We've got all the experience in
the world. This is I Want your Flex with Dan
Bayer and Mike Harmon. Mike and Dan break down everything
you need to set your lineups, from position rankings.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
To starts and sits.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
The guys help you make those hard decisions. And now
let's get your flexod Here's Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
It is I want your Flex. We are midway through
your fantasy season, almost halfway through the NFL regular season,
as one game is in the books for Week nine.
Get Mike up at Swallodom. You can find me at
Dan Bayer on Fox. You can find our executive producer,
Ian Roddy at Ian Roddy Underscore. In fact, Ian's going
to be along later in the episode with the streaming defenses,

(00:55):
and after Mike gives all of his rankings and hop
plays and whatnot, I'll chime in with a survivor and
a point tip a Lozi pick for you as well,
but just a quick hit because Ravens beat the Dolphins
on Thursday Night, twenty eighth to six. Mic and now
a whole bunch of fallout from both of both teams. Actually,
Chris Greer out as the GM in Miami, Mike McDaniel's
going to stay as the head coach for the rest

(01:15):
of the year, and the Ravens were docked one hundred
thousand dollars for messing with the injury report last week
with Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Boy, that'll learn them. Are you kidding me? Hundred thousand dollars?
I mean you shake that off like the rocks at Shawshank.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
I mean, what are we doing.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
There's got to be draft picks, There's got to be
a compensation. There's gotta be something bigger than that. I mean,
that's wouldn't you do that every week? If you can
mess with someone's game plan for one hundred grand given
the billions that you make.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
The Ravens cooperated fully according to the investigation.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Yeah, I've been announcing myself as a full participant in
the shows I've done with Jason Smith and now with
you guys right here, and I want your flax, so
all week, full participant and I actually showed up no
scout team for me, but last night's game, as you
look at it, Lamar Jackson back the tight ends in
full effect. Some late heroics from Derrick Henry to at

(02:09):
least give you a solid day, because for a while
I was like, wait, wait, wait, and then he busted
off that thirty five yard run to make it look better.
Devon Chen giving you love with the receptions out of
the backfield, a couple of nice throws from from Tua,
one waddle that got negated off the tripping penalty letter

(02:31):
spirit of the law kind of thing. As we go
down the road there that might be the highlight of
two a year though that might be the best throw
he's made, guys, and it got wiped out.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Oh man, it's the way. It's the way it goes.
With the Dolphins, just when you start to think maybe
this offense is coming around for what they did last week,
they get busted on a play that shouldn't have been
called and yeah, wipes out what would have been ten
minutes of their season ending highlight film reel by NFL Films.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Yeah, same thing is the Ravens game against the Bears,
though right defense came and played better. Hamilton and Rokwan
Smith disruptors for sure, but you're not winning kicking field goals.
That's really just the nature of the Beast against any
team that's a plus squad. And now you get Lamar back.

(03:20):
The only thing we were missing was him active in
the run game. He did have that one thirteen yard scramble.
But this is a team with the schedule that's on tap,
and you know how much I love NFL schedules. They
still have five division games left.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
It's all there for him.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
All these other divisions, you know, hey, you've already played
four of them or whatever. Now they've played Cleveland, They've
got everything else on the slate, and I think they
still play the Jets.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yeah, this division wasn't over. It was just a matter
of does Baltimore's defense can they actually improve? Because I
think we all felt that the Ravens were going to
be better once Lamar came back, but we didn't leaving
the Steelers, we knew the Browns weren't doing anything, and
the Bengals, even with Joe Burrow, I'm wondering what the
Bengals are going to be able to do because of

(04:07):
how bad that defense is. Now it's all that's Baltimore.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yeah, it's there for the taking and they are the
favorites in the division, and fairly substantially so at this point,
so see how it flows. But getting Lamar Jackson back
on the field a breath of relief for fantasy owners
because there was some talk ahead of that game against
the Bears while I was in Baltimore of people starting

(04:32):
to whisper about Operation shutdown if they'd lost that game,
that perhaps that might have been the signal to throw
in the towel.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Again.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
As to your point, Dan, the division being what it
is and the way we still operate in terms of
standings and playoff seating and whatever, division was never truly
going to be out of reach based on what we've
seen from Pittsburgh after they got housed a bit by
Green Bay last week. But yeah, all that to say,

(05:00):
second half certainly opens up. Zay Flowers becomes a steady
second wide receiver. Now it's just the question of can
you keep that operational efficiency with the tight ends. Do
you like Andrews in the red zone or would you
rather have likely for that big play down the field.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Yeah, were the Ravens having options and if you gave
up by Mark Andrews, He's in the end zone A
couple of times again, but it's one game of fourteen
of Week nine in the NFL season, so they're thirteen
left to go. Eagles, Buccaneers, Jets, Browns all on by

(05:38):
in Week nine, Micha, Let's get to the guys who
are actually playing your top five quarterbacks for Week nine
of the NFL season.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Some of those counterintuitive players, we've got familiarity, breeding content,
all of those things wrapped up in the top five quarterbacks.
Patrick Mahomes right off the jump against Buffalo, He's averaging
twenty five fantasy points per game. Now he's got his
favorite target back with him. Now, Buffalo second best against quarterbacks.
Give it up just fourteen point one points per game,
but you could throw the past out because we know

(06:06):
how much they brawl and the overrunners under is sitting
at a juicy fifty two and a half and has
been pushing north as the week came to an end.
So we'll look for Mahomes continue his magic. Dak Prescott
against Arizona. He's ninth at averaging nearly twenty fantasy points
per game. Two games under ten points, So there is

(06:28):
the floor does drop out like you're on the Haunted
Haunted Mansion ride or something like that or the Tower
of Tear, but you know, looking at Arizona's tenth best,
but again looking at Lamb and pickings.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Ferguson'll be back in the mix.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
You've got Javonte Williams that'll look for the balance of
the offense. And again another attempt at a high scoring game.
Because this one is actually.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
At fifty four.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
The last I looked at it fellas no expectation of defense.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
In that one.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
You got Josh Allen against Kansas City again tied for
four with the best given up fifteen points per game,
but he's averaging nearly twenty three. Still looking for more
plays with his legs. We'll see if that element comes
back as we have, but we know he'll be north
of forty attempts historically. Kyler Murray against Dallas again fifty four.
See we got four guys from two matchups. And then

(07:18):
Daniel Jones gets to break in talking about that Pittsburgh secondary,
the weak, inept pass rush going up against a good
offensive line, and the balance that they've established. He's tied
for seventh, averaging about twenty one Fantasy points per game.
He's gone over twenty two points five times this year.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
And as Aaron Rodgers pointed out, the playing service should
be better since Pitt isn't playing there the day before.
Let's get to the running backs. Mike, your top five
for week nine.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
All right? Jonathan Taylor against the Steelers, twenty five and
a half per game. He's gone over twenty eight points
five times. Just absolutely insane. Thus far, McCaffrey third most
targeted player in the game. That's right, third most targeted
out of the backfield against the Giants and opportunity here.
He's averaging over twenty one points per game, coming off

(08:03):
a season low of eight point three in Week eight.
But you're looking at a Giants team seventh most generous,
and now with the injury to Scatobo, you're already missing
neighbors curious to see what that offense can do, whether
the San Francisco defense can rise up give them some
advantageous fuel position.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
We'll see Josh Jacobs going up against Carolina. He's fifth.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
He's got nine point nine or more points each week,
so we take that floor is fairly well established, and
going up against a Middland Carolina squad like what we've
got from Green Bay, we'll hear more of them. As
we continue, and then we look at Kyron Williams against
New Orleans seventh most generous against running backs, He's thirteenth,

(08:43):
averaging a little more than fourteen points per game. He's
got two games with more than eighteen points this year.
Let's make it three coming out of the by. And
then for that final spot, I flipped a coin, No,
I really didn't. James Cook going back to that Buffalo
Kansas City matchup, just how much he's active and needs
to be active. Five games with at least eighteen point

(09:04):
seven points six best run defense in Kansas City. But
again we throw that out because these two teams have
given us classic after classic. Watch it be a six
to three score going into the fourth.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
What a murderer's role of running backs we've got for
the top five. Green Bay, by the way, wearing those
old old throwbacks. It'll be an interesting uniform weekend as well.
But Green Bay is gonna look a bit funky against
one of the newer I'm using air quotes teams of
the NFL, in the Carolina Panthers. All right, let's get
to the pass catchers. Mike, your top five receivers.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
All right, we start with one of the usual suspects,
ninety nine targets, already seventy receptions on the year. It's
Jamar Chase going up against the Bears. Looks like Joe
Flacco practice fully and he's feeling good. The shoulders there,
even if it's browning. What do you do? You just
feed Chase early and often. Four times he's gone over
twenty Fantasy points this year. Bears eleventh most generous to

(09:57):
opposing wideouts. Oh don't I know it, hey, JSN going
up against Washington three straight games with at least twenty
two Fantasy points ahead of the bye week. You got
Washington ninth, most generous to wide receivers. Another opportunity here
the road favorite situation for Seattle here, even with Jayden
Daniels back on the other side. Interesting game to watch

(10:18):
as we flow through. Puka Dakua going up against New Orleans.
He's back seventeen or more Fantasy points in the five
full games that he's played. He's tied for second overall
and New Orleans the eleventh best.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
But don't let numbers fool you.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Rams heavy favorites should be rolling downhill and put up
some points early.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Rashie Rice, welcome back.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Nineteen point seven twenty one points in his two games back,
targeted early and often again the explosive potential of that
case Buffalo game. Don't look at the ninth best, just
go look at opportunity. Can't talk about what happened. Let's
talk about the matchup that plays ahead. And then finally
Seedee Lamb going against Arizona because we need more fireworks

(10:59):
on Monday football. There are concerns given the number of
mouths defeed, that maybe he gets looked away from now
and again tough week last week against Denver, but he
had nineteen points five points in that week seven return
and look for that offense to continue to be explosive
because they don't have that defensive help.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Just yet.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
Jerry was on a phone call about a one hundred
billion dollar business or whatever.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
So we'll see.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
How this plays out Monday night ahead of the trade deadline.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
And I continue to look stupid by shipping out Rashid
Rice when I thought that he had peaked in his
comeback game, his first game back with the two touchdowns.
That trade I made continues to look worse and worse.
I'll tell you what's going to look good though. Seahawks
and Commanders on Sunday Night, both wearing throwback looks, so
it should be Primo on NBC. There they are your

(11:49):
top five receivers, running backs, and quarterbacks from Mike Carmon.
Mike's also got your hot plays, Cold Soores and Ninjas
Ian standing Bible stream some streaming defenses. It's all next
year and I want your flack. Welcome back. Let's waste
no time Mike hot plays for Week nine of the
NFL season. Let's go.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
Let's get it out with Justin Herbert going up against Tennessee. Yeah,
eleventh best in the metrics, but again, Chargers starting to
get healthy. That offensive line is back. You got Herbert
averaging two hundred and sixty eight passing yards per game,
Tennessee giving up nearly eight yards per attempt to opposing quarterbacks. Yeah,
opportunity downfield. Quentin Johnston owners, I don't know how confident

(12:30):
you are putting him in your lineup, but I guarantee
he dents the score sheet this week. Not a big
guarantee after a GOOSIEG, but you know you gotta gotta
find your wins. Jordan Love going up against Carolina. They're
a middling squad against opposing quarterbacks. Explosive Week eight for
love vaultshamtill eleventh and amongst quarterbacks, three games with at
least twenty let's make it four. Put those fours up

(12:52):
here in this one. Matthew Stafford going up against New Orleans.
He's tenth, averaging nearly twenty fantasy points per game, twenty
five or more of the last four. Oh and he
gets Pooka back. Yeah, opportunity here. That defense should terrorize
young mister Shuck.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Is he young? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
He's a rookie, Spencer Rattler. That's the crazy thing that.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Is older than me? I'm not sure.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Gotta check twenty six other.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Than yeah, that's it. I think we start going down
the who is Shuck older than? As he makes his
first start? We'll build that graphic out as well. And
and Ian you'll catch him eventually in theory, right, Yeah,
you'll catch him because you know it's it's the kind
of thing until you're forty as a player, like we
we talk about you as a twenty six year old

(13:37):
rookie and then you just become a guy for a
while and then so like you can kind of catch
up on him, all right, and if he's still playing
at forty, then he becomes the forty year old Schuck.
You know that kind of thing. That's the way we
do aging with fantasy quarterbacks, all right.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
JK.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Dobbins one hundred and twenty one total yards last week.
Our J Harvey's vulturing is troublesome to say the lead,
but volume is still there. Tough spot against Houston, but
enough to give us a hot play as a high
end number two. DeAndre Swift going up against Cincinnati, he
was back at practice. They're the worst against opposing running

(14:14):
backs and thirty one points per game. Vidal going up
against Tennessee again looking at generous defense to running backs.
He's got this weird odd even thing going on. It
was DOUD twenty one, DUG nineteen. So that pattern, if
it holds, I'm going to be terribly wrong on my
report card. But I think we break the pattern. We
talked about Javonte Williams, who we get a little love there.

(14:36):
Nico Collins. Give him an opportunity here with no certain
roaming the defense for Denver. Look to him to get
some volume for us here. Looking at Michael Pittman going
upgainst Pittsburgh. He's got five games with at least sixteen
Fantasy points. There's no pass rush that secondary. They're trying
to address it piece by piece, but it's what's that word?

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Not good?

Speaker 4 (15:01):
And then Marvin Harrison going up against Dallas. We got
to have a representative there for the Arizona side of things.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
For only four games with greater than.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Fifty breaving yards this year hasn't hit the century mark yet,
but we know Dallas has those issues in their secondary.
Perhaps we finally get him to triple digits on Monday night.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Kyler Murray back for Arizona, so we'll see if he's
throwing to Marvin Harrison, because those two have had an
issue at times. It's been highlighted. But Murray back off
of his injury. Harrison has cleared concussion protocol. Everything is
good on that and from their game a couple of
weeks ago against the Colds, we'll see if the Cardinals

(15:41):
can connect on Monday night. All right, let's get to
the Cold source. Mic, guys, you don't want in your
lineup for Week nine.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
We are going big game hunting all over the board here,
all right. We got bo Nix and CJ Stroud. I'm
just gonna grab some popcorn and watch this game. Houston
the best against opposing quarterbacks, give it a fewer than
twelve fantasy points per game. Nicks only has two multi
touchdown games this year, one game with more than two
hundred and forty two passing yards, and the struggles of

(16:09):
the Houston passing attack have been well established even with
certain down I know we got Nico Collins in on
the other side a little bit with the run games
that we talk about, but all in all, I'm not
expecting fireworks here over under pushing under forty as he's there,
which means we're also going to take Courtland Sutton down
four straight games without a touchdown, six games with four

(16:33):
more more receptions.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
So you get your decent floor.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
But you're not looking at heavy explosives, only his top
seventy receiving yards three times this year. How about a
couple of huge running backs while we're at how about
Jionn Robinson. Look, you're not matching him, but this is
one where we're looking at the fifth best team against
running down. I'm still trying to figure out what the
hell happened against Miami. It couldn't have just been that

(16:56):
Kirk Cousins was under center.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Could it No, no Drake London?

Speaker 4 (17:01):
But yeah, yeah, kind of an interesting thing, right, Losing
London meant nobody in that receiving corps and a focus
on Vijon. But yeah, he's still in your lineup. I
just push him towards the back of the RB one.
So if he does disappoint, hopefully you stocked up and

(17:22):
really made judicious choices with those tertiary receivers and the
tight end position Ashon Genty. Perhaps he's just forever put here.
Only one game with more than seventy five yards minimal
in the past game going against the eighth best team
against running backs. I know, think it brought Bauers back
and maybe that'll help the offense reset a little bit.

(17:44):
But that offensive line is still bad, so we want
no part of it. How about Justin Jefferson going up
against Detroit with JJ McCarthy under center. Can I trust that?

Speaker 1 (17:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
He's been frustrated to look heavy target count, so can't
say they're not trying in the yardage per game is there?
But Detroit secondary getting healthy. This is one where again, yes,
obviously he's starting, but the cautionary tale of back end one,
high end two for me here and certainly not finding
anything in my dailies if we're going there. Rico Dawdle

(18:15):
against Green Bay third bets giving up fewer than seventy
nine rushing yards per game. Yeah, so he vanquished Chewba Hover.
That's all finding good. He can't get past that defensive
front for Green Bay in this one. Jamison Williams as
soon as an offensive coordinator says, hey, I gotta get
that guy more involved. That usually doesn't end so well
in minnesota's been really good against outside receivers, so we'll

(18:37):
put him on the downside as well. As much as
that game is must watch television.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
I'll tell you what. My trade just keeps on looking
worse and worse. And the Justin Jefferson colds were maybe
there for weeks with JJ McCarthy back. Yeah, yes, the
heat times in Minnesota have turned.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
I didn't even get it into the offensive line. Where
was I mean, darrisaw might be down on the right side.
They've got some issues. Yeah, it's not looking good.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
All right, Let's get to some guys who could look
good that you are thinking about maybe playing. But aren't
sure of the Ninjas for Week nine? Who do you got?

Speaker 4 (19:12):
Caleb Williams going up against Cincinnati, eight most to quarterbacks.
You look at him and Roman Dunza Hendrickson is questionable
as so. An opportunity here against this defense, even if
it has been a bit ugly. Maybe they finished that
first drive so you at least get a touchdown pass
before they go to field goal kicking and inefficiencies later on.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Wow, I'm just sliming the whole thing.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Psychologically, it's been a rough go watching the Bears this year.
Mac Jones going up against the New York Football Giants
fifth most generous and nearly twenty two points per game.
He's got four top fifteen finishes. Obviously, as we record this,
it looks like he's going to get the go this
week instead of Rock Party. One more week perhaps, but

(19:57):
obviously pay attention as we get ready to kickoff. Trevor
Lawrence going up against Las Vegas. Look, he's not been great,
only two games with more than twenty fantasy points, middling,
just like the middling Las Vegas defense here, I'm looking
at Jacksonville, maybe with a takeaway or two to give
them some opportunity. What'll be curious to see how much
of Parker Washington we get with the news that Travis

(20:20):
Hunter had to be placed on the uninjured reserve.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
For four weeks.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
So opportunity in the passing game here against the Raiders.
All he's got to do is look away from Max
Crosby because he's still there, not getting traded as yet.
Bam Night going up against Dallas, is it exciting? No,
but touchdowns in two of three twenty five carries the
last two weeks. Dallas. We know defensively they're a sieve
Tyrone Tracy. Going back to that giant San Francisco game,

(20:44):
is it a great matchup? No, But we're talking volume
here with no camp Scattabo, They're not going to abandon
the run game altogether. Kansas City, pick your poison, Kareem
Hunt or more Brischard Smith. I'd opt for the Smith
part of it with the past game, but you're looking
for vulture possibilities. Kareem Hunt's been active in and around

(21:05):
the goal line, so flexworthy for both of them. Christian
Watson back against Carolina, came back last week four for
four eighty five in his return. Looked for an opportunity
here DK going up against the Chargers eleven of twelve
for one hundred and sixty three yards the last two weeks. Yeah,
they're top six, but this becomes the if the game
plays to script their down so what are they doing

(21:26):
chucking it downfield? And then finally we got Deebo Samuel
as a bit of a price shot in the flex
play Jadon Daniels back, no McLaurin opportunity. Thus far, it's
been how should we say, a car stuck in neutral?
Perhaps you can find a little bit of explosiveness back
in this matchup.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
It should be the Washington Challengers because it's been a
challenge all season long for nice for the crew in DC.
All right, there they are the hot place gold source
in Ninjas four Week nine, I got a points to
Balooza and a couple of Survivor nominees for you, and
Ian's going to bring in his three streaming defenses. Hit
Mike up at Swollen, don't find me at dan Byer

(22:06):
on Fox, and get Ian and Ian Roddy underscore all
on X. That's next year and I want your flex.
All right, let's wrap up our week nine preview before
we get into Ian streaming defenses and my points at
Palooza and Survivor pick one note as we were recording,
just getting a heads up. Jonathan Gannon to the Cardinals

(22:27):
said earlier this week he expects Kyler Murray to be
good to go coming back from that foot injury. Even
just mentioned it a little while ago. About two minutes,
our phone popped up and the alert came up that
Jacoby Brissett seeing more action and practice today. So this
is something to at least monitor. You should know on

(22:47):
what the Cardinals are going to do. Unfortunately it's a
Monday night game, but we should know by Saturday and
what's going to happen with the Cardinals quarterback situation. But
just something to monitor as we enter week nine.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
And we mentioned the fine for the Ravens was one
hundred grand I mean that that can't dissuade teams from
being dishonest. Right, I'm just saying, like I, you know,
not to call out Gannon and say, but I raised
my hand, going that's not very punitive when it's all
said and.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Going, Yes, but the Ravens cooperated. That's what the NFL
wants to know. Okay, all right, let's get to the
streaming defenses. Ian, what three do we like this week?

Speaker 5 (23:28):
So I actually have two this week?

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Oh just too no.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
I tried to search far and wide to look for
a third, but I just didn't want to give you
guys one that I didn't truly believe in here, So
I got two that I really feel good about this week.
First off, the Jacksonville Jaguars, So they are rostered in
about fifty five percent of leagues. Opposing defenses fantasy defenses

(23:51):
that is, have scored eleven or more fantasy points against
them in four out of their seven games, and overall,
they've given up the second most fantasy points per game
to opposing defenses. Jaguars defense itself has been up and
down this year, but they've shown to at least have
a high ceiling and this is the type of matchup
that they can hit it against. And then San Francisco

(24:12):
forty nine ers or the other all right, twenty percent rostered.
They're playing against the New York Giants, who just had
a lot of wind taken out of their sales with
Cam Scataboo's injury. Jackson Dart has been playing pretty well
in his rookie year, but he has taken at least
four sacks and three out of his five games. No
Nick Bosa or Fred Warner obviously limits the upside of
the San Francisco defense here, but the matchup is still

(24:35):
very good for them, so I'm still starting them.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
So it's interesting because with Ian streaming defenses, they kind
of lead into my survivor picks because I looked at
both of those games Jaguars and Raiders, looked at forty
nine Ers and Giants, and I'm just staying away from
those two. I think that there's enough on the slate
when you're looking for a survivor just to survive Rams. Again,

(24:58):
we mentioned Tyler Shook and the Saints are coming to
La Rams are a fourteen and a half point favorite.
The last time I checked, Green Bay has moved to
a thirteen and a half point favorite, So you got
a lot of these heavy dogs or excuse me, heavy
favorites in this game. I wouldn't trust Jacksonville and a
survivor pick because they're on the road. They'd be there'd

(25:20):
be better opportunities later on in the season to maybe
take the Jaguars, And when you're looking at the forty
nine Ers, the only thing that I just question is
they're still on the road. They were in Houston last week.
Now you're playing an early start again on a Sunday.
I don't think that. I think you're absolutely right about
the Giants. I'm just not willing to put my neck
out there when I think there are better options to

(25:42):
be safe and survivor. The one I would risk is
I would take a look at Dallas on Monday night
if you want to wait. If that's a team, you're
not gonna have Dallas in the mix every single week.
But with Arizona coming to town, I think that that
could be a good spot for Dallas. So my for
sure pick is going to be the Rams. Guys. If
you want to live dangerously, then take the Cowboys with

(26:03):
survivor in points of palooza. I like Mike's Bears against
the Bengals. Why wouldn't I? Last week it was the
Bengals and Jets doing what they do. Now. There could
be some rain showers in some of these one o'clock
Eastern time kicks on Sunday throughout the Midwest as you
move east, but still on that artificial turf. I like
it more than cold Steelers on the grass. No matter

(26:25):
if Pitt played there or not. Give me Bears and
Bengals is my points a palooza.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Bear's a narrow road favorite here. Flack will only move
the needle half a point, which really kind of surprised me.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
And even if he doesn't play it, I think Jake
Browning is still going to be throwing the football around
and nothing's going to change. So I think we could
have some fun with the battle of the some of
the Orange squads on Sunday afternoon.

Speaker 4 (26:52):
Good week ago, you had no discernible pass rush either side. Yeah, no,
this is gonna be fun.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Yeah, Bears Bengals should be fun. Colt Steelers is a
good one since Broncos, as Mike said. And then you've
got Chiefs Bills in that late window and I'm excited
to watch the Seahawks and Commanders on Sunday night. So
there it is Week nine question. Any parting shots from
you guys as we head into the week in a
week that I am feeling completely uneasy about in all
of my leagues, Uh, in my picks, it's just uh,

(27:19):
it's a funky spot. Any parting shots as we say
farewell and meet again after week nine?

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Well, it's a nervous week. I'm projected to finish last
in our guillotine league. Oh okay, that's big Mike, Yeah huge, huge.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Ian like had three guys on bye last week, didn't
change his lineup and still advanced because Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
Yeah, Jonathan Taylor has been carrying my team all week long.
And not to mention, it was almost like I had
four because Quentin Johnston had like yeah, straight to say, so, yeah,
I got lucky last week.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
Yeah, that's it right, it's it's the better to be
lucky than good. That one guy that helps me to
tell you, because I had Breese Hall last week. He
gave so he gave me that other side of it.
Of course, now I don't have him this week because
he's on by. Maybe there's the biggest, biggest What the
hell for fantasy football this week?

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Well, again, the Jets and Browns on buy, as are
the Eagles and Buccaneers. All right, that's gonna wrap things
up for I want your flex. We'll come back after
week nine give you the post mortem. Plus week nine
means halfway through the NFL season. Once we complete that,
we love more on that later in our episodes at
next week. So for Ian Roddy and Mike Carmen. I'm
Dan Buyer, best of luck in this week nine and

(28:35):
we'll talk to you next time. And I want your
flex
