I love him, but I always hated that. Dude, sounds ridiculous.
But if you're a parent that coaches, there's kids on
other teams, I have a little pain they ask. But
then if you get them on your team or you
coach like the All Stars, you're like, all right, now
he's on my team. All right, you're not such a nosepicker. Yeah. So,
in other words, most people dislike Max Crosby. Guys like
Danny g Raiders guys love Max Crosby because he gets

under the skin of players, and that's great. That's just
mental advantage over mahomes. And this is where it gets sticky,
when you start rubbing your own teammates the wrong way
and getting under their skin. How does that work? So
the stickiest of the iggyist. Yeah, him and Kirk Cousins
got into a tussle on what was that on Friday?

out remember he's a one hit wonder.

Well there's an update. I didn't know this story was
gonna have more legs. But Kirk Cousins, veteran veteran, doesn't
need to be pushed around in camp, not only a veteran,
like a nice guy. Why is his shirt's a cold
kind of a nerdy dude. So first off, I'm like,
why is this like he us this crazy wild man.

I don't think Max Crosby, again, they're on the same team,
should be using his wild man antics. A nice guy,
starting quarterback, leader of the team, Kirk Cousins. I get it,
Max Crosbys the veteran. There, he's the Raider. But guess what,
Kirk Cousin's still your quarterback now the story is Danny
g correct me if I'm wrong. As the resident Raiders
fan on Friday, word was that at camp, during training camp,

at a practice, Max Crosby was being a wild and
crazy Raider guy and stop motor. Yep, he hit Cousins once.
Cousins probably was like, hey, I don't like that, right,
does it again? While he's throwing and they got into
a little bit of a tiff. That's right.

Cousins went up to him, got in his face, told
him what he thought, which is wild, grabbed Max Crosby's jersey.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Well, I don't expect nothing different from a leader like Cousins,
but I can't believe that Max Crosby what even you know,
push or shove or you can't believe it. We've seen
these stories in the past.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Remember the story from some of their joint practices where
the opposing quarterback was like, this dude needs to calm
the f down.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Not only is he the starting quarterback and a veteran
in the league, right, I feel like certain people don't
warrant a ball busting that type of treatment, and I
feel like Kirk Cousins appears to be that guy. I
don't feel like he's the guy you mess with in
that way. He seems too likable, too kind, you know,
too too much of a man on a mission. Like
he's just a good all around dude. So why is

mac crosby. There's things you earn when you're a veteran,
right when you're the when you're the top dog, and
Kirk Cousins has done enough to be that top dog, right,
Like we always say, when people have to take those
crappy tests around here at iHeart or Fox, like the
uh hey fail out this Human resources survey or do
you think Colin Cowhert does that? Do you think Colin
Coward sitting in his kitchen table doing the HR test?

My guess is no, he probably has an intern. I
think Ryan Music does it for him. Yeah, exactly two
weeks there going like I got a boss. I wouldn't
be surprised, But I'm saying and that's because, like it's deserved.
I don't think Colin should have to take the like

do all that and she's like, he's serious, the host
of her show. But I just think Kirk Cousins in
the football world shouldn't get the shove. I said to
Cavino on the drive in I was we were chatting,
I said, do you think Fred Warner would tussle? Would
Brock Purdy? Do you think Micah Parsons we tossing around
Jordan Love? Do you think any other big time defensive

I don't think so. I think he's using his raiders veteranship.

if he's ever played with a teammate who's as impactful
on defense as Max Crosby.

corner for one practice and think about what you did.

him and he sat in the corner for an entire
practice just because they went at it. So one of the.

veterans needed a rest that day.

Anymore, okay, and he used this as a way to
show or make an example of them, but really they
just had to sit out. Fine. But the question here is,

like that. Do you like that? Or do you think
this shows friction? So basically, do you like the fire

or is this friction for the team or fire? Is
this friction or fire or maybe both? I mean it
is both, But what do you get off on more
the fact that why is there friction amongst the offense
and defense here between Cousins and Crosby. Why that friction
to start off the season or do you say, oh man,
they're pumped up.

Have you seen the first episode of Hard Knocks average
season with the Seahawks. No, Actually, Danny Jeter going on
to fin of friction going on between the offense and
the and the defense.

believe Cousins the type of guy that warrants that behavior.
He's Kirk Cousins. I don't think it matters.

I get it. There's guys this fire people trying to

on nerdy ass Kirk Cousins.

any of this? The Ravens told us that he wasn't
ever gonna play again.

and the defense is so frustrated, and you see the tension,

on these guys. Because of what's going on with Fernando,
you know, waiting in the wings to play, and he
got that chance Saturday to have his reps with the One,
and all of a sudden, the Raider Beat Riders were like,
this is the opportunity that Fernando needed because he looked
amazing Saturday when he was running with the one.

Yeah. But to me, that feels like conflict. Like I
think you try to do everything to boost the confidence
of a cousins in this situation, but I mean, like
not like pick on him to the point where he
has to tell you to back off. I think maybe
you're pulling that fire out of cousins or reminding him
that you know, well, then you know he do that,
you do like a Baker Mayfield. You get in his
face and you smash helmets and you hit him on

the pads and you push him around a little bit.
You don't like potentially hurt the guy when he's throwing
a football.

Well, the week prior, you might have seen the viral
video going around of Cousins looking really slow in the
line of you know, when they were running from side
to side and everybody was getting on Cousins. So what
did he do the very next practice he was sprinting.
He was the first player to the other side during
this subfiference.

Some guys need that, and maybe just maybe there's people
thinking right now, like Cavi, you no, Rich, this is
like a little way out to the little baby beatches
like this is NFL football. Make sure Cosby's twenty eight,
Kirk Cousins is thirty seven. It's called show that guy
a level of respect. Seriously, that's how I feel about it.
I know it's football, but this guy is also your quarterback.

You're putting him in a dude, what if he hit
his hand on his helmet or something like that when
he already said yo, chill out, this is just practice.
Cousins breaks a finger and now what.

But I like the way Cousins responded. How would have
Gino Smith responded to this last offseason throwing punches?

now waking all the way up. We know Max has
no problems with his motor. And there you got to

these Raider players in the past, some bad draft picks,
some bad free agent signings, the team looking asleep with

bad coaching. Now you have Kubiak in there. The team
looks focused, their practices look much better, according to everybody
that's been covering the team this offseason. And so I
like the fire because if the team is that hungry
right now, I can't wait for the season to start.

Malaise destruct the malaise a general vague feeling of this comfort, illness, fatigue,
and uneasey. He looked it up. Yeah, I was like,
is that something that put on I don't know, something
I put on my steak. That word you does have
the malaise for the shriby. Oh sounds good with a

us as well. I mean everyone's reported on it, but
saying how Cousins got fired up. Of course they both
got you know, a little slap on the rest, but
you said it might have been good the veterans again,
frictionated dog. But as Adam Schefter was saying, Kirk gets up,
he's fired up, and maybe you want that out of
Kirk Cousins. So we can't look at it and like,

you know, hands off the veteran. Maybe maybe this is
like Kirk Cousins is the type of guy. Because if
you're right, if he said Max Crosby is the most
intense guy I played with, why would Kirk Cousins not
want that? Just maybe let you lay off mel Why
because maybe a kind of Kirk Cousins is fully capable
of hyping himself up. He's been in the league for
a long time. Again, I'm playing Devil's advocate here. Danny

this weekend. Some are also speculating that this is a
great this is a great message for Fernando Mendoza, where

he pumped into him. He was trying to stop on
the play. It would have been a sack in a
real game. And then the second one, he hit his

it's been that way well over the last couple of days.
I want to let this digest the second. Did you
see that Enis Kanter and Royce White, two former NBA
players and I'm sure more to come, have declared themselves
eligible for the WNBA draft with there being no true
verbiage in the WNBA contract as it said. According to

Commissioner Kathy Engelbert, when she's not dissing Dan Patrick and
standing him up, she said, our player eligibility rules, unlike
the eligibility rules of some other leagues, are governing bodies
and are collectively bargained. Lastly, preserving the integrity of our
game is ensuring fair competition and will always remain the

highest priority. So I just think what this does is
I think these guys are boneheads. They're announcing their eligibility
based on the verbiage that's required by the WNBA, now
saying like, yeah, well, according to your rules, we should
be allowed to play, so we're ready to join the league.
Now you might think Enis Kanter and Royce White are

two dopes, two morons. I mean publicity stunt. Yes, a
foolish thing to do. Yes. But what they're doing, though,
is they are pressing buttons and forcing the hand of
the WNBA to be very clear on a question that
so many people in the world of trans athletes in

sports don't want to answer. Now, that's what defines a
man or a woman in sports, because you can't just
subjectively be like Enis Kanter, you're a jo, You're a
piece of garbage trying to what do you try to accomplish?
Because while that might be true, according to the way
things look right now, he could very well say well,

I feel like I identify as a woman and that's
good enough according according to the current verbiage. So what
it's doing is it's really Now, I'll tell you what
it's doing. I have it written down. Oh you were
to tell me it is exactly what it's doing. It's
proving a valid point and it's protecting women, but in
