Speaker 1 (00:04):
All right around to your life from Philly. It's the
Polly and Tony Fools Go NFL Reaction Show as always,
Polly Fools Go here with Tony Fools going, just a
huge reaction show of course, just tonally wiping the floor

(00:25):
with the Rams, never a doubt. We're gonna break down
every angle of the game with unbiased, perfect analysis as always,
and we're gonna tell you about the other games still,
you know, while the Lions, you know, should actually be
glad that they lost, and yeah, why C J. Stroud
deserves all the blame for that Texans loss to the Chiefs,

(00:45):
and frankly, while Lamar Jackson also deserves the blame there
he does so much to get to Tony. Let's's get
right into it. NFL Divisional Round Reaction Division Reaction. First
out the gate, the Eagles just thoroughly destroying the Rams

(01:06):
twenty eight twenty two, not even close. And you know,
of course, right afterwards, just as expected, all the morons
they come out of the woodwork, don't they don't want
and they once again criticized Jalen Hurts because the only
passed for one hundred and twenty eight yards. Well, all
those idiots idiots are just showing their lack of knowledge,
aren't they donting?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
You know, when you criticize Jalen Hurts for not passing
the ball, you're disrespecting all the great legends who founded
the game of football. They didn't believe in all this
passing and deep throwing and helmet wearing. No, they believed
in the fundamentals running and also you know more running.

(01:48):
So personally, I think if those legends were alive today,
they would love what they're seeing from Jalen Hurts. In fact,
they think he had way too many passing yards.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Totally a great donate. And you know, all these people
they are applauding Saquon for having a great game, as
we all are, of course, But the whole time I
was just sitting there in awe of those perfect handoffs
by Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
I mean me too.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Here he is in this ice cold weather, just one
perfect handoffs after another. It was amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yeah, we talked about it so many times on this show.
Handing off is the most important skill anybody can have.
It's what our entire society and environment is built on
for everyone. Think about mother birds, you know, where the
eagles we won think about birds. If they can't hand
off their worm to their babies, there'd be no birds.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Then there'd be no eggs.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I mean, breakfast as we know it wouldn't exist anymore.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Just terrific football and also food chain analysis that don'ty
And you know on that subject, you know last week we.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Laid it all out for your people.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
We showed you Hurts is the much better statistical QB
than Matthew Stafford, and this game proved it. I mean, yeah,
sure Stafford had more passing yards and passing tds and
completions and a higher QB rating and you take a
few of sacks and didn't take a safety. But that's
all besides the point, isn't it, Dony.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Of course, we all know the most important thing any
player can do is hold on to the football. And
Jalen did such a terrific job holding onto the football
while Stafford.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Kept dropping the football.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I mean, you have to ask yourself, who would you
want delivering your baby. If you wouldn't want Matthew Stafford
as your midwife, how could you want him as your quarterback?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Just food for thought, that, Dony. And you know one
thing we do have to bring up a little bit
of a down note here. Jalen Hurts is on an
injured knee, clearly hurt his knee in that game, forced
to stay in. Well why was he forced to stay in?
Because you know his backups are not named Nick Foles.
And we were sitting here we did it. You saw

(04:02):
the last week's show, right, the video that went viral
us calling Howie Roseman and telling him in a message
that was taken by his secretary Angelo, that we demand
that they sign Nick Foles and you know, just to
have him back. And what yah gotta believe right now,
Howie Roseman is making that call. He gotta believe it.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Doty, yup.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
People keep telling us Nick Foles is retired and therefore
won't play anymore. Have these people ever heard of wrestling?
People are unretiring all the time, Hulk, Hogan, Stone Colt,
Steve Austin. I mean, look at Rick Flair, He's seventy five,
had thirty two heart attacks and just announced that he's
coming out for one more match. So if Rick Flair

(04:46):
can do it, why not Nick Foles.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Just great perspective that, Doty. And now let's move to
the other games. The Commanders they beat the Lions, and
now people are coming out they're so impressed with their
rookie QB there, Jaden Daniels. Please, people, where do you
think the Commanders got the idea to draft Jaden Danders?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Exactly?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Look no further than the Eagles and their QB. They
totally copied us, didn't they donate?

Speaker 2 (05:13):
You know, this isn't just playgiarism, this is player jurism.
The command has clearly copied the Eagles winning blueprint. Just
look at their quarterbacks. First thing, Jaden sounds an awful
lot like Jalen. And what conference did he play in
in college? The SEC? Just like Jalen? And how many

(05:34):
colleges did Jaden play for? Too?

Speaker 3 (05:37):
And again just like Jalen?

Speaker 2 (05:40):
And what type of quarterback is Jaden mob exactly? And
who's his tight end right now, zach ertzach exactly? And
how many interceptions did Jaden throw in college in his
whole career?

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Twenty?

Speaker 2 (05:57):
And how many do you think Jalen through in college
and his whole career? Do I even need to answer
the question? No, twenty boom guilty as charged, Just damning
legal analysis that dony and gotta look at the you know,
the other side of this game.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
It's just the Lions. They're feeling down, coming in as
the ones see and just going down in horrible flames
as they always doing. You know, you saw the head
coach Dan Gamble at the pressa after the game, just
did crying. You know, you wish you could say something
to make it feel better, and you know, you know,
we probably do have the thing to say that. Don'ty

(06:36):
that there really is a bright side here for Dan
camp or the Lions, is there?

Speaker 2 (06:40):
You know, Dan Campbell's forgetting the most important thing in
all of sports tradition, and there's no more time on
a tradition in sports than the Lions totally sucking. I
know Dan Campbell wanted to win, but if he did that,
it would have been a slap in the face to
all the mediocre and disappointing Lions teams that came before

(07:01):
him and upheld that proud tradition of sucking. In fact,
I was glad to see him crying at the press
conference because that's what Lions football is all about, crying
after devastating losses.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
So good for you, Dan Campbell.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Just so poetically said that, Dody, And you know, while
we're talking Lions coaches. A lot of people, they're saying
Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn might have cost himself a
potential head coaching job after the team gave up forty
five points to the command as got That's not the
case at all, is it, Tony No.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
My sources tell me that by giving up all those points,
Aaron Glenn has now firmly cemented himself as the front
runner to become the next head coach of the New
York Jets. The Jets front office were really impressed with
how uninspired and totally lost the Lions defense looked the
entire game, especially when they were unable to count how

(07:59):
many men were on the field. That makes him a
perfect fit for Jets football, and remember he even played
there too, leading the Jets defense to a humiliating conference
championship loss to the Broncos. Just sounds like a perfect
fit to me.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Just absolutely rock solid analysis and also sourcing that Dony
and you have to move to that Ravens Bills game.
Just an absolutely heart breaking loss for the Ravens. They
lose to the Bills twenty seven to twenty five after
Mark Andrews dropped the pass on the two point conversion
that would have tied it. But yeah, you know, Dony,

(08:36):
hate to say it, but if there's one person who
really deserves the blame here, it's Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Yeah, I have to agree.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
You know, Lamar Jackson forgot the cardinal rule, never trust
a man with two first names. Yup, Mark Andrews, Yep,
that right there. Should have told him, don't throw it
to him. I mean, Lamar Jackson has surrounded himself with
too many men with two first names yep.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Derek, Henry, Justin Tucker.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
And you know, like Lamar doesn't understand because he has
two first names. Lamar Jackson just really bad roster management
by the Ravens and also Lamar.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Just stagnantly bad football decisions all around that, Dony. And well,
now we got to look at the other game in
the AFC. You know, the Chiefs they beat the Texans,
and you know, people they're saying, well, the Texans actually
outplayed the Chiefs. But we got to disagree with that
done totally. You just got to look at that Texans
qby CJ. Stroud. This loss clearly falls squarely on his shoulders.

(09:41):
I mean, Dony, it was clear watching Stroud's performance that
he didn't put in nearly the same level of preparation
that Patrick Mahomes did. Did he?

Speaker 4 (09:49):
No?

Speaker 2 (09:49):
I mean I analyzed the game film and more importantly,
the pregame film, and I didn't see CJ. Stroud do
a single thing to butter up the refs. He didn't
say high to them, or give them a Hello hug,
or ask how their kids were doing, or even you know,
give them an Olive Garden or Panera gift card so
they could have a free meal after the game. Those

(10:11):
are the things that Chiefs are so good at and
clearly doing.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
And c J.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Stroud and the Texans want to be competitive, they've got
to start thinking to those things and buying more gift cards.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Just terrific analysis that, Donny, and such a great way
to close out this NFL reaction show. No, we almost
made it out. Wait a second, Where the hell are
you right in your studio? There?

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Where are you?

Speaker 4 (10:40):
What does that matter?

Speaker 3 (10:42):
What does that matter?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
You only produce this show, I guess, sir, Actually it's
only union you could do any matter. Where are you
up here?

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Doesn't matter?

Speaker 3 (10:52):
I'm here, where's here?

Speaker 4 (10:55):
I'm in the city.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Do you were you watching the game.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Wow, I was in the theater.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
The theater.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
What you what we're seeing the Phantom of the Loser.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
No, it was the play Driving this Daisy.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Oh my god, Doughty, it's a divisional round games A
producers going to see a play.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
You know, I really wish you'd go see driving off
a cliff.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
That's what I'd like you to say.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
That's what you should see.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
What what do you?

Speaker 3 (11:32):
What is it? What go?

Speaker 4 (11:37):
You really think Nick Foles will retire after being out
of the league for two years? Uh?

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Bound to happen, But sources say it's a lock.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Bro. Yeah, my source is Instagram, and Nick Foles just
posted a photo of themselves having a coffee in Mexico City.
So I don't think it's coming back next week.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Oh yeah, well we're going to send you to Mexico
City where you're going to have a call thin.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah, you're not going to be coming back to life.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
I can't wait for that.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
Oh he's still talking, still talking.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
What you said the Commanders copy the Eagles by drafting
Jaden Daniels.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Yeah. The names sound alike and they play alike, do bro.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (12:24):
No, first of all, that's not copying second, Jaden Daniels
has a way better arm than Jaien Hurts. So that's
a stretch.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Oh you want to see an arm, I'll show you
an arm, my firearm. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
You know what will never be a stretch when you
enter a woman.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Oh you're done? Oh yeah, and you know why you're
really done because I just got an email from the
person who you'll say is on vacation. Guess who's booked
on the show next week. Looks like you'll be in
the country super Bowl hero Nick Foles as ramps up
for the playoffs. Wait to hear that interview anyway, Hey,
