Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
The NFL off season always comes with franchise altering decisions,
and the Minnesota Vikings this week made a deal that
could be exactly that. Happy Saturday. Here on Fox Sports Radio,
Bridget Condon is in for Jason Fitz. Bridget, It's good
to have you back on the show. We're looking forward
(00:24):
to you putting up with us for the next two hours.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Thanks for doing.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
It, Thanks for having me, And what a perfect week
to fill in because so many crazy things happened in
the NFL. I'm still processing it. It's one of those
things we live in this digital age where you have
to double check that everything you read is true, and
so many things happen this week that I was like,
is this Ian roppabort the real Ian rapobort? Or is
this fake news?
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Well, and there's also the the nefarious NFL insider Ricky Scoops.
Are you familiar with this dog that breaks news on
the internet?
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Ricky Scoops?
Speaker 4 (00:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (00:57):
No, on X Where's he?
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (00:59):
Yea, maybe I blocked him because I had to get
away from all of these fake accounts. It was it
was really tricking me out.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
No, And I remember that you.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
The last time that we that we had you on
the show, I believe it was during football season, and
you have made at least somewhat of a conscious decision
to take a little bit of a step back on Twitter,
if I'm not mistaken, thousand, I.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Did need to get on there though after Max Crosby,
because sure, the thing is Twitter is funny, okay, and
it always has. Twitter is the place you go to
when you don't actually think people are going to say it,
but that's where they say it. They don't say it
on Instagram, they don't say it on threads. The craziest
things that people are going to say are on Twitter,
(01:41):
and sometimes you need like a little laugh. You got
to get off of there though, before they start coming
for you and like making you the joke. But I
did go on there this week a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
You got to your once in a while. Yeah, relapse
is a good way to describe it. Absolutely. So we
will see what happens as we dive into a week
chalk full of NFL news, and we will talk about
the Max Crosby situation, of course. But I would like
to start bridget if we could, with Kyler Murray signing
with the Vikings on a one year contract worth.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
One point three million.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
It's a vet minimum deal because Arizona is paying him
thirty six point eight to just go away him Intua
getting big paychecks to no longer play quarterback for their
franchise and getting other opportunities elsewhere. I obviously you do
a lot of work with the NFL network over the
course of your career. I'm not sure if have you
done Vikings or Cardinals games on your game day duties.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Yes, I did a couple of Cardinals this season, just
because they're close Vikings. I've never been to Minnesota, but
I have done Vikings. One game that really sticks out
to me was the Rams Vikings playoff game in Arizona.
Remember that weird situation because of the LA fires Y
sim Darnold gets sacked nine times, loses his job. Yeah,
(02:54):
so I am a little familiar not teams I cover
every day. But if you want my take on this,
I think it was an easy move for the Vikings. Right,
You're only getting You're only having to pay the league
minimum because of like you said, he's guaranteed the thirty
six point eight million from the Cardinals. There's not a
lot of risk here right for the Vikings and there's
a lot of upside. I don't know how this plays out.
(03:18):
I hope that it plays out well for Kyler Murray,
JJ McCarthy. This this is sad and Tracy Sandler just left.
I know she is the president of the JJ McCarthy
fan club. If you aren't aware of that big Michigan girl.
To me, what this is is the Vikings watch Sam
(03:38):
Darnold walk out of the building last year go to
Seattle win a super Bowl, and now they have had
two opportunities. You know, Kirk Cousins was there too, and
everybody thought, you know, he would be the one that
takes him to the Super Bowl. Sam Darnald couldn't get
it done again because he lost to the Rams with
(03:59):
that nine sack performance, and so now it feels like
they're just throwing anything at the wall. They have a
talented roster, Okay, not the talentedest, the most talented, but
they have a talented roster where they just need a
quarterback to be averaged to get them to the playoffs.
Is Kyler Murray the future? Who knows? But this is
a low risk, high reward situation, one year deal. Let's see,
(04:22):
let's see, at the very least he comes in there
and brings a lot of competition and makes JJ McCarthy
a little scared and work a little harder. Who knows.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, on face value, I can see that perspective, But
I also I don't think it's that easy of a
move for Minnesota. Maybe it is because their general manager,
Questi Adolfo Mensa was fired this year at the Senior
Bowl in a kind of an odd timed situation for
(04:50):
an NFL team to make a transaction like that, so
obviously a little pressure in the organization. The JJ McCarthy
experience has not been good. I believe he's made ten
starts and not fit ten NFL games so far in
his very young career, and you don't want to completely
cast him aside, but this feels this feels like maybe
an easy move from the perspective of what's available, what
(05:13):
can make our football team more competitive after a third
place finish in a really, really challenging division. But there
has to be some sense of urgency in Minnesota given
the JJ McCarthy situation. They gambled and lost, and I
understand that it cost at least the general manager his job.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Among other things.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
If you follow the reporting of Diana Orsini and other
people who have been covering that story at great length,
they made a mistake, it seems, in moving on from
Sam Darnold for the sake of JJ McCarthy and now
Kyler Murray provides them a quick fix. But it's a
tough look if you're Kevin O'Connell and you are the
coach who has been talking publicly and rightfully so about
(05:56):
how organizations fail players far more than players fail organizations,
and then all of a sudden, JJ McCarthy isn't good
enough to play quarterback for your organization and you have
to go to Kyler Murray in a vet minimum spot.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Well, here's the thing. I don't think JJ McCarthy ever
should have gotten that spot over Sam Darnold this year,
And whether that was their choice or not, I don't
know that they could have paid Sam what he was
getting in Seattle. Okay, Like, regardless of that, we expect
so much from these young quarterbacks. A talented quarterback in
college is not a talented quarterback year one. In the NFL.
That rarely happens. The best quarterbacks sit behind the guys.
(06:34):
I mean, Jordan love sat behind Aaron Rodgers. Now he's
having success. Patrick Mahomes didn't even start, Okay, Like, these
quarterbacks need time to develop. It is so different the
NFL versus college football. JJ McCarthy. I'm not counting him out, okay,
Like he has the potential to be a franchise quarterback.
He has talent, he has the build, he has so
(06:55):
many great qualities. He needs time and right now messing
with his head, Like how much did you know Trevor
Lawrence's first couple seasons mess with his head because of
the coaching and the you know, they just move these
guys around and they expect these things, and even Baker Mayfield,
Sam Darnald, the list goes on about these guys being
in these situations that weren't good enough for them, and
(07:18):
we are expecting playoffs, Super Bowl year one, year two.
So to me, I kind of love this in a
sense of have Kyler Murray come in there and let
JJ learn and let him just kind of calm down
a second. And it's not even like this guy went
out there and failed. Yes, I understand what you're saying
about ten games, ten starts, not ten finishes, but he
(07:40):
was hurt his rookie year. There was so much pressure
on the Minnesota Vikings to be very good the second
they drafted JJ McCarthy and then he deals with the injury,
and then Sam Darnald comes in, and that messes with
your head a little bit, right, because they didn't expect
him to go out and win as many games as
he did with them fourteen games, and then now this
(08:00):
guy leaves and goes wins the Super Bowl. There's so
much mentally going on there. So bring in Kyler Murray,
let him develop him being JJ, and then see what happens.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
It's a great point because of who we're talking about
as at least coming in to help the entire process along,
and that's Kyler, because bridget to me, Kyler is one
of the most fascinating players.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
In the NFL. He is fun.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
But we are heading into his eighth NFL season as
the former number one overall pick in the twenty nineteen
NFL draft. That was here where I'm sitting in Nashville, Tennessee,
and I still don't know what to make of Kyler
Murray as a football player. Where I consider him to
be in the in the not that we have to
do quarterback rankings or anything like that. But you understand
(08:52):
what I'm saying. He's not the most consistent players coming
off injury. Started five games last year, they went two
in three. He completed just under or just a hair
over sixty eight percent of his passes, six touchdowns, three picks,
and not that box scores are everything. But I was
at the last start that he made, which was against
the Tennessee Titans, as fluky a win as I think
(09:13):
we saw in the NFL season, as the I want
to say Amari de Mercato is the running back that
had the DeShawn Jackson fumble situation as he was crossing
the goal line, it turns into a touchback.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
You know. The drill.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
With Kyler as he heads into his eighth NFL season,
I don't consider him to be any kind of a
reclamation project. We've seen Kyler Murray play high level football.
I wonder what that marriage of him and Kevin O'Connell
and that offense, how much that offense is going to
differ from what they've been trying to do, and how
much better, if at all, Kyler Murray can be At
(09:49):
a critical point in his career as he takes a
proven opportunity to try and turn it into something more
meaningful elsewhere.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Well, this is fascinating and I totally agree with you.
He is very interesting case because this is a two
time pro bowler. Okay, he is the guy we still
talk about that hail Mary passed to DeAndre Hopkins. How
fun that was. That's one of my favorite highlights in
all of NFL. How fun this guy can be. He's
a dynamic dual threat. But I mean, Jacoby Brissett had
(10:17):
more success with the offense when he took over than
Kyler Murray had in Arizona after his ACL tair in
twenty twenty two. He's been a different player. Before the
ACL tair, it was like forty yards on the game,
he had twenty three rushing touchdowns. Then since then, he's
just like thirty yards on the on the ground a game,
less than ten rushing touchdowns. I don't know how much
(10:38):
of that is just what Arizona's done versus how much
he you know, still feels the ICL tair and how
much that has limited him as a runner. That is
what he needs to do if he's going to Minnesota.
He needs to be that dynamic dual threat quarterback that
we remember him being early on in his career. But
there is so much one thing that I haven't really
heard a lot of people talking about this week, and
(10:59):
I understand, and it's because the Cardinals went back and
took the clause out of his contract. But do you
remember when they were extending him and they put a
clause in his contract that said you have to watch
film for X amount of hours?
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Famously, yes, okay.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
And to me, what that says is you have a
guy with a lot of talent who maybe wasn't as focused.
And I think there are two types of NFL players.
You have the player that has God gifted ability, you know,
whether that's size or speed or whatever, things that you
can't teach, and maybe they don't have to work as
(11:32):
hard as a guy who was born without that talent
and is in the film room fifteen hours a day,
you know, constantly asking questions at practice after practice before
practice with the jug machine, doing everything they can to
be a better player. Now, Kyler Murray's probably somewhere in
the middle, closer to the you know, gifted ability. I
(11:55):
know he's not the biggest quarterback, but he has the
speed and he has the athleticism that a lot of
guys would love to have. Now does he have the
drive to study the way a Tom Brady has? No?
So how much of that did we see in Arizona?
How much did he just stop I don't know, trying
(12:16):
to get better in the classroom versus in the weight room.
I don't know. I don't know. And can he get
back to the Kyler Murray we saw early on if
he puts in the extra work in Minnesota. And to me,
this is a guy that, as you mentioned, is on
a prove it year. You would think everything is pointing
(12:37):
to wanting to be the first one in the facility,
wanting to be the last one to leave, doing everything
you can to show people, hey, my career is not over.
I just kind of was in a bad situation. But
remember how talented I am.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
And it's one of those things and covering. I mean,
you've obviously covered good teams and good games on NFL Sundays,
and we've all done some bottom feeder games and Arizona
has really really struggled these last couple of years. We
understand what it's like to be around those environments, those
(13:10):
organizations that are currently in situations that they're trying desperately
to claw back into some level of competitiveness, whether it
be Arizona, Tennessee, the Jets, Cleveland. There's a lot of
these vibes that impact a player and and that can
wear on you and affect your love for the sport,
(13:30):
your love to drive to compete in a lot of
these situations. This is now, I'm sure a humbling experience
to some extent for Kyler because Arizona saying, you know what, thanks, thanks,
but no thanks, We'll pay you this money to go
somewhere else, and you've got your cash, but now you
have an opportunity to prove that you're more than what
(13:51):
the book on you has been to this point, which
is a player with an interesting and I can't remember
if there's a precedent for a homework clause essentially in
a contract for an NFL player who's been jettison from
the franchise that drafted him number one overall and now
goes to a team that finished you know, they finished
(14:11):
nine and eight. To your point, and what you were
mentioning earlier about the Vikings roster and how close they were,
they've made a lot of different moves, their defense is
going to look I think a lot different. Understanding that
Brian Flores is still calling it from a personnel standpoint,
They've made a lot of changes. This is a team
that Kyler should have an opportunity with. He's had tools
to work with. It's not like Arizona has been devoid
(14:34):
of weapons, and Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison our interesting pieces,
certainly one at a significantly higher level than the other.
I think it's a great opportunity for Kyler and I'm
fascinated to see what he does with it. I'm also

It's bucking fits with Bridget con and filling in for Fitsie.
He's doing indoor football the Indoor Football League, I believe
his first day on the job, doing a little play
by play with Nate Tye. So we're looking forward to
seeing FITSI in action little later this afternoon, and we're
very happy to have Bridget hanging out with us today.
I don't know where you stand on movie theaters versus
(17:07):
the in home experience, Bridget, but the Max Crosby trayed
and lack thereof that felt.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Like a movie that I was sitting there.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
You talk about moments on Twitter that are worth monitoring,
even if Twitter is a terrible, terrible place and a
lot of situations. The Ravens pulling out at the eleventh
hour of the deal and getting back their two first
round picks and keeping Max Crosby in Las Vegas at
least for the time being is one of the more
ridiculous stories in the NFL that I can think of
(17:35):
in my lifetime.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
You know what's crazy? So I worked Tuesday when all
this went down and I left work, came home, and
I know you're a man, but like you can understand
this as a woman. When you get home from work,
it's like you rip off the lashes, you put your
hair up in a bund, you take your makeup off
as soon as possible, right, Like, especially TV makeup is
(17:56):
just it's the most buff does all this? Yeah, I mean,
I know you have your powder on, which my which
makeup wipes? Do you like Nutrigena?
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Yeah, a lesson. I use the I use the rosewater spray.
I do it all. I'm a brotox guy too. It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Oh my god, I'm telling I haven't been able to
get botox since I had a baby. Anyways, regardless free wait, okay,
maybe I'll take a flight to Nashville. Couple these LA
prices it's like five hundred dollars a unit. Anyways, So
enough about brotox. I was at home chilling, right. I
had my pajamas on, like I go to bed early now.
(18:32):
I have a one year old, okay, like, don't hate me.
And I get a text. So I do these radio
updates every day. It's like a one minute thing that
airs the next morning of the biggest news in the NFL,
and I usually record them at work and then leave
and I get a text from my producer that was like, hey,
I need you to redo radio Max Crosby with the
Max Crosby News And I'm like, oh cool, Like it
(18:52):
must be his salary, right, That's how I find out.
So I go to my email to get the script
and it's like Max Crosby deal is off. And I
was like, wait what. So I immediately like go to Twitter,
go to my email, and I'm like this, I am
being pranked. This is not real. I was shocked. I
couldn't even go to bed that night. I was just
all on Reddit. To me, honestly, this is my reddit.
(19:13):
Where is Nancy Guthrie and what happened with Max Crosby.
I don't know what is more shocking, the fact that
Ravens pulled out of this or the fact that we
still haven't found Nancy Guthrie. And I am going to
use this platform to say where are you.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
We're solving all the problems here on Fox Sports Radio
this afternoon.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
It is.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
But the thing that was most interesting to me beyond
the football transaction of and we're gonna obviously spend some
time on the football transaction of it is that there
was a lot of messaging from general managers and personnel
people and coaches around the league via insiders. Right, these
are not quotes on the record in the sense of
(19:55):
they have names attached to them, but a lot of
vitriol for baltim More making a decision that was in
the best interest of their franchise in their estimation before
the start of the new league year. For people who
know that the start of the new league year is
typically the second week of March Wednesday in Nashville, it's
(20:18):
three pm Central time, these transactions do not have to
be made official or are not made official until the
start of the new league year, whether it's Kirk Cousins
getting released or the Tuist situation or Max Crosby for example.
So Baltimore uses what their wiggle room, what little they
had to say. We had five different doctors look at
(20:39):
this guy. In our estimation, the player that we are
trading for is no longer worth two first round picks
to us. And there's been plenty of discussion about Trey Hendrickson,
which we can get to as a part of this
as well. But they make the decision that this is
no longer in the best interest of our organization, and
the Raiders are the first ones to twitter with the
(21:00):
statement of the Ravens backed out of our trade. We
will have no further comment at this time, and I
cannot wait to hear Tom Brady on the broadcast of
a Baltimore Ravens game at some point this weekend, just
to hear if they let a led a extra, you know,
snidness or snarkiness in his voice about an organization that
pulled out on a deal and got a lot of
(21:21):
blowback anonymously from many people in the league.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
This is so fascinating and I don't know what I
believe that is. I tweeted it out actually speaking of Twitter,
when it's all conspiracy theory of this the whole thing,
one hundred percent. I said, the NFL is the best
reality show on Bravo. I have never seen or sorry,
it's not on Bravo. I've never seen anything like this
on Bravo. Okay, and for people who don't know what
Bravo is, that's like the reality channel. The NFL is
(21:48):
so fascinating. There is so much drama. I don't know
what's true And here's the thing about the quotes that
we get. You know, Oh, I talked to one general
manager who said, nobody's going to do work with Baltimore anymore.
People tell certain people, hey, this is what I'm hearing
to get narratives out there. Okay, So like you have
to look at all the narratives that are out there,
(22:10):
and the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Do
I think that Baltimore saw Trey Hendrickson was still available
on Monday and said, hey, wait, maybe we shouldn't give
the Raiders two first rounds. And then they get Tyler
Linderbaum their center too, which is another wrinkle into all
of this, and they say, hey, wait, maybe we don't
want to give the Raiders this guy too, or maybe
(22:33):
we don't want to give them two first round picks
as well. I have a hard time believing that it
was simply cold feet, and I know the majority of
people are speaking this week saying the Ravens got cold feet.
They had never used a first round pick to trade
for a veteran in their thirty one years of existing.
(22:54):
I don't think that you get through all the decision
makers right. This was a just Eric DaCosta saying, here
are two first round picks. Steve Bushatti, everyone in that
room went through the pros and cons of this decision,
and they decided, Okay, we're gonna give two first round picks.
We're in a win now mode, Lamar Jackson, Max Crosby
(23:19):
can get us to the super Bowl. Okay. I don't
think they just got cold feet and said never mind.
I think, and this is what people don't understand. Physicals
are subjective to team doctors. The Raiders physical and the
Ravens physical on Max Crosby, same person are completely different.
(23:39):
And that would be different if he went and did
a physical with the Titans or with the Rams. Every
team doctor and doc team of doctors have their own assessments. Okay,
and so the Ravens, this isn't the first time they've
done this. They've done this before three or four times
where they got a guy in there, didn't like what
they saw on the physical and didn't didn't move on
(24:01):
with the process. So I am probably the only person
in America saying this, but I don't think it was
simply cold feet. I think that we're gonna find out,
and to be honest, I don't know why everyone's so
upset because the Raiders went out and moved in free
agency as if they weren't going to have Max Crosby
and did incredible in free agency. They're one of the
(24:23):
teams that I'm like, Okay, Wow, you just went out
there and hit a home run during free agency, and
now you're getting Max Crosby back for right now. Who
knows if he gets treated to another team, but this guy,
I mean, I would hate to be playing against Max
Crosby this season because he's gonna be out there with
a vengeance.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
I AWO interesting Max posting highlights of himself against the
Ravens earlier this on his Instagram story, so certainly he's
taking the situation seriously enough. We'll continue to talk and
break down this Max Crosby circumstance. What does it mean
for both Baltimore and Lost Vegas. But first, Manzi's gotta
(25:01):
get us updated on what's happening.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
In the world of sports Buck Bridget. I am stuck
on what Bridget said. Where is Nancy Guthrie? Like, I
just I I Buker. I was like, yeah, where I
need to go to Arizona and start looking.
Speaker 6 (25:16):
We can go together you know what I'm saying, bring
the baby.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
I'll help you out. Like we can do this. I'm
bringing my passport.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
Guys are double two.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
We can double dep The owners mats are in Phoenix
this year. A little bit of NFL, a little bit
of Nancy Got three where research, We'll figure it out.
Speaker 7 (25:31):
I'm just saying I think we should also jump on
that and investigate it all right, guys. When it comes
to sports, some teams are trying to punch their ticket
to the Big Dance and men's college hoops, the Big Ten,
Big Twelve, excuse me, the Big Twelve final right now
between Houston and Arizona. Arizona is up sixteen to fourteen.
There's about eleven minutes to go in the first half.
(25:52):
The Mountain West Final between San Diego State and Utah State.
Utah State is up twenty to seventeen. They're also about
halfway through the first first half. What happened earlier today
in the Big Ten semi final, Will Michigan won it
basically on a buzzer beater against Wisconsin sixty eight to
sixty five. Well seven seed Perdue top six seed UCLA
seventy three to sixty six, So it's the Wolverines and
(26:13):
the boiler Makers that are headed to the Big Ten Championship.
At the SEC semi final, three seed Arkansas survived ninety
three to ninety against fifteen seed Ole Miss in overtime,
while number twenty two Vanderbilt defeated fourth rank Florida ninety
one to seventy four. At the Ivy League semi Final,
Pennsylvania won at sixty two to sixty against Harvard in overtime,
and Yale defeated Cornell eighty eight to seventy six.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
Howard is headed.
Speaker 7 (26:37):
To the Big Dance after winning the MIAC Final against
North Carolina Central, and you b m no UMBC. Sorry,
it's headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time
since twenty eighteen after beating Vermont in the American East
Championship seventy four to fifty nine.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
A little NFL news for you.
Speaker 7 (26:53):
Wide receiver Darnell Mooney plants as signed with the Giants Titans,
and wide receiver Calvin Ridley restructured his contracts to keep
him in Tennessee for the twenty twenty six season. Free
agent quarterback Trey Lance returning to the Chargers on a
one year deal. When it comes to the NBA, Victor
I Banyama had thirty two points, twelve rebounds and eight
assists and the Spurs outscore the Hornets one fifteen to
one oh nine. Hawks have won nine in a row.
(27:14):
They topped the Bucks one twenty two to ninety nine.
Right now, late in the first quarter, where the Celtics
lead the Wizards twenty nine to twenty seven. And at
the World Baseball Classic, Italy is still up, but Puerto
Rico has made it interesting. They scored four runs in
the eighth inning to cut their deficit to two. Italy
up right now eighty six. It's the top of the
ninth inning.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Back to you guys, Thank you Mozzi.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
She's Bridget Condon. I'm Buck Rising. Bucking fits with Bridget
filling in on this Fox Sports Saturday. We've been discussing
the Max Crosby Baltimore Ravens trade and it's fallout the
trade that was not to be four long.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Baltimore ultimately renegs on the deal.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
They retained their first round picks, and you mentioned Britain.
The work that the Raiders have done this offseason. We
know that the bank breaking three year eighty one million
dollar deal that he and Rappaport over at. The NFL
Network was first to report for Tyler Linderbaum, the former
Ravens center stunning really the money because now he's being
paid as a top six offensive lineman across the board.
(28:21):
It reset these It shattered the center market, the pre
existing center market, the high water market mark for a
contract for a player at that position. And it's just
one of many things that Vegas has done. Connor Hayward
comes in there, Jalen Naylor the wide receiver. You've got
Quitty pay and Malcolm Coots, Nakobe Dean from the Eagles
(28:42):
to bolster that defense, guys like kway Walker, Eric Stokes.
There is a lot of work being done on that
Raiders roster. And now while they do lose twenty four
million dollars in cap space because of the Crosby contract,
they still have Max Crosby and at least to hear
the Raiders component, or the Raider's side of things, they
(29:03):
believe that he's healthy enough to contribute meaningfully for an
NFL team.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Now they've got him back.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Now he's got real motivation to be back after some
of the bad feelings on the way that his twenty
twenty five season was ended before he was ready to
have it ended, and the organization ultimately shuts him down
to make sure that they can retain the number one
overall pick, which will soon be had in April's NFL draft.
This Vegas Raiders roster is intriguing, and we're gonna have
(29:31):
a conversation a little later in the show about which
NFL team that's currently drafting in the top five is
most likely to make the playoffs this year.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Man Vegas.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
I'm gonna be curious to see how we both feel
about Vegas when we get to the second hour of
the show.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
And what's interesting is with all these moves and then
Max Crosby coming back, I was like, oh my goodness,
how are they going to have to do this with
the cap situation. They're gonna have to cut a bunch
of people, but they have structured it very well. They
still have twenty five million dollars in terms of cap
space for twenty time twenty six. I don't know how
they'll figure it out, you know, as we get on
twenty twenty seven, twenty twenty eight, but for this season,
(30:05):
they still have room to add, plus, they have ten
draft picks and they still have the first pick in
the NFL Draft, which everybody expects them to take Fernando Mendoza,
the quarterback. They there's a real possibility that this Raiders
team could be a team. We're talking about late January
next year. I mean, that's crazy, but look, hey, crazier
(30:29):
things have happened. And I like the way that they
moved during free agency. I liked the way that Max
Crosby deleted. Now this is my question, did he You
obviously saw his thirteen minute video, his farewell video to
the Raiders before he went to the Ravens, and that
video is no longer on his social media. Here is
(30:50):
my question. Did he delete that video or did he
archive it? And buck again? Like, I'm assuming you know,
I feel like you're pretty much with it. But do
you know the difference between deleting and archiving on social media?
Or is that just like crazy women talk?
Speaker 1 (31:06):
No, no, no, I've had women in my life explain.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
I myself have never hidden a post or archived a post.
But essentially, to my understanding, you don't delete it, but
it removes it from the public feed.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
And like, this is what happens when you have these
toxic relationships people you follow on Instagram. It's like, wait,
her boyfriend was off her page last week, why are
all these pictures back this week? So when you're going
through a toxic relationship, what happens is you just archive
the photos of you and your man and you saying
like happy birthday baby, and then when you get back together,
you can unarchive them and they come back onto your feed. Okay,
(31:38):
so now this is my question. Did Max Crosby delete
or archive his thirteen minute goodbye video to the Raiders?
Because we still have quite some time until week one,
will he still get traded? Could potentially happen. Does he
(31:59):
then unarchived the goodbye video or does he do a
completely new goodbye video or does he just never say goodbye?
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
I feel like and at least if it was me,
I would have a hard time coming up with thirteen
minutes of emotion again and saying goodbye again if I
was in fact traded from an organization the way that
Max Crosby could still be and it is. I mean,
there has been reports about multiple teams interested in Max
Crosby at this point in time. Again, We're coming up
(32:32):
with many, many unsolved mysteries throughout the course of the show.
It seems to be a theme, but it's no mystery
what the Tennessee Titans will be wearing. In twenty twenty six,
they had a new uniform reveal here in Nashville. This week,
I would like to get Bridget Condon's perspective on where
she thinks or how she thinks the conversation between Houston
(32:55):
fans who are pissed about the Oiler's colors being brought
back in the Tennessee Titans name, or if Titans fans
have a right to retain the history of their organization.
We'll get into that on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Wow, turn it up.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
It's a banger.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Welcome back on this Fox Sports Saturday. She's Bridget Condon.
I'm Buck Rising. It's normally bucking fits. Today it's bucking
Bridget or Bridget and Buck more appropriately.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
We're happy to be hanging out here with you.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
I was happy to be at the Titans uniform reveal
on Thursday night. Tennessee is one of five teams that
is getting some new variation of their current look or
new uniform situation. There's also a Nike rivalry uniform that
apparently is coming out this year for a handful of
teams that are participating in Tennessee, being one Commanders, Falcons, Ravens, Titans. Also,
(33:55):
the Rams are having some slight changes. It sounds like
just eating through a couple of different things today, or
at least things that are expected to be tweaked here
in the next couple of months. But Titans did a
lot of a lot of heavy lifting on this look.
For those who don't know, the Tennessee Titans used to
be the Houston Oilers. Before long, they're going to be
(34:16):
in Nashville, Tennessee. Before they were in here as long
as they were in Houston, but nineteen sixty Houston Oilers,
they end up moving to Tennessee. Nineteen ninety eight Tennessee Oilers,
then Tennessee Titans. Nineteen ninety nine, they go to the
Super Bowl, big deal. They have rebranded in a very
oilers centric fashion, going back to what I think is
(34:37):
one of the best looks in all of professional sports,
regardless of sports, but still trying to keep some themes
as to make them the Tennessee Titans. While cosplaying is
the Houston Oilers and bridget This is always a conversation
here for us in Nashville. Whenever the Oilers throwbacks made
a reemergence a couple of years ago, the city of Houston,
(34:58):
or at least some component of it, gets very, very
upset about the fact that the former Houston Oilers organization
is still using the color scheme the uniforms, even though
by right they own the history of the team. I
wonder where you fall on that conversation.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Okay, first of all, I need to know if audio,
if you played Hullaback Girl intentionally leading into this conversation,
because all I can think about is people look that. Yeah,
people hear you talking like that, getting everybody fired up. Yeah,
people here the Titans talking like that. You're getting everybody
fired up. One hundred percent. I don't like it. I
(35:38):
get it, I get it, but I don't like it. Okay,
Like this is like having your ex leave you, but
they're still gonna wear your family's last name on their back.
I don't know, like I get it, And I know
that you probably fall on the opposite side because you're
there in Nashville and you know it's their team, right,
But it just feels like when the franchise moved and
(36:01):
eventually became the Tennessee Titans, Houston lost its team, but
Houston never really lost the emotional connection the ownership of
that identity, right. I understand the Texans were then created,
but imagine growing up as a fan and now somebody
rips your team out, brings them to another city. The
Titans now are gonna wear oilers uniforms. Houston fans are like,
(36:26):
you took our team, now you're taking our history. I
don't know. It just feels wrong. I get it, they
technically own it. You know that's their house. You know
they're throwing a party, celebrating with your family photos in
your house, but they own the house. It's just a
weird concept. And it feels even ruder that they're in
(36:48):
the same division, like say, this was a random team
on the West Coast, okay, whatever, and which I guess
that probably wouldn't happen. You wouldn't be moving across the
country if you're moving a franchise. But I don't know
who knows. These owners do whatever they want. I don't
like it. Why why did we need to do that?
I get it, I get it, but I don't like it.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
And that's a completely fine position to have.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
There there is the difference between personal feeling on the
circumstance and the reality of the situation. The reality of
the situations, they could do what they want right because
they on the end and they can stick a thumb
in Houston's eye that way, And that's always been a
bit of a talking point in the AFC South for
people that don't know I cover the Tennessee Titans on
a regular basis as a reporter.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
I do you're a homer. You can say it, No,
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
In fact, they hate me, in fact very much. Their
fan base hates me for as tough as I am.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Well, they're going to hate me for my take.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
No, they for sure are.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
But like I understand the perspective of yeah, I get it,
but I don't like it. And that's the position that
a lot of people are taking on this, especially when
from my perspective, Bridget I don't totally disagree with you.
I think that they are, you know, like their foot
program on the field, they have had a bit of
an identity crisis and they're trying to figure out how
to wash the stink of the last couple of years
(38:08):
at Tennessee Titans football off them and they know. The
thing that hits every time they do it, whether they
win or whether they lose, is when they run out
there in those love you Blue Houston Oilers themed uniforms.
And it's a great marketing opportunity.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
It's a beautiful uniform.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
It's a beautiful uniform objectively, as somebody who has no
dog in a fight other than I cover the team
they I think it is one of the best, if
not the best throwbacks in sports. But a new stadium
as well, which I think is they're trying to refresh
this thing with a coat of paint. Lipstick on a pig,
if you will, because the football team is still miles
(38:42):
away from competitive.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
Here's the thing. You better sweep the Texans. You better
go out there and sweep them.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
Well. The interesting part is they keep losing to the
Texans in.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
The throw pads, so there's a little bit of karmic
force going on every time they put them on.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
Why would you.
Speaker 3 (38:57):
Want to like awake the Sleeping Dragon, you know? Why
give the tech Dragon.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
Had a meltdown against the playoffs and the or against
the Patriots of the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
But why like, why give the Texans anything else? You know, like,
why give them any more momentum?
Speaker 2 (39:16):
I listen, I'm a proponent for more hate in sports,
so I'm good with it.
Speaker 3 (39:20):
I like what I'm going to say next hour then
oh no, oh, no.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Oh no, what a tease.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
I'm looking forward to this. I can't wait. So from
from my perspective, I enjoy the hatred in rivalries. I
think that we don't have enough real rivalries with resentment
where the players genuinely do not like each other, where
the ownership genuinely does not like each other. And I
think that this is a fun way to bring it back.
I don't, frankly, I don't like the new logo. I
(39:49):
think the new logo is pretty you know, chat gpted.
You know, if you asked me to make a Tennessee
football you know what were the commanders call for a while,
the Washington Football team, the Washington Football Club, whatever it
was at this point, that kind of what the new
logo rings to me. But that color scheme, the uniforms,
when you see the logo on the uniforms, I think
(40:09):
it at least cleans it up a little bit. We
got a lot more to talk about in the second
half of the show. Bridge at Condon, Buck Rising hanging
out here with you on Fox Sports Radio. Which NFL
team is drafting in the top five this year that's
most likely to make the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
We'll talk about it next you're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
There's a lot of bad football every year in the NFL,
and as we get closer to the NFL Draft, with
teams like the Jets, the Raiders, the Titans, the Cardinals
getting ready to try and pay pick players that change
the course of their franchises direction. The best part of
the NFL is there's always the hope of the turnaround.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
Welcome back in.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
It's bucking Fenced with Bridget Condon filling in for Fitzi.
Fitsi is on assignment with the Door Football League today
getting his first play by play opportunity. Mary and Ian
hanging out back in La Mary called me a fake
friend because I said I did not want to watch
Fitzi's football broadcast right now when there's college basketball on.
You tried to shame me, Bridget. I don't know if
(41:15):
that makes me fake or honest. I love him, I tell.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
It but it's one.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
Yeah, it's not fake. It's not fake. It's honest.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
It's if I'm first, I mean, you can at least pause.
I mean, don't you like who doesn't have YouTube TV
these days? Can't you just like, I don't know, pause
it and go watch him, make sure he's doing a
good job. Then go back to college basketball.
Speaker 1 (41:37):
Oh no, I see, I don't he's fake TV.
Speaker 3 (41:39):
What do you have because if you have cable, then
you can pause it.
Speaker 1 (41:42):
I have cable.
Speaker 3 (41:43):
Okay, you have cable.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
I want to pause it.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
I want to watch the college Oh my god, don't
ever let me tell you I have something exciting going on,
because man, you don't care. You don't care about anybody.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
Do it?
Speaker 2 (41:53):
Okay, just don't do it up against something that I
care more about in this particular situation, which I love Fitz,
but I would tell him this.
Speaker 3 (42:00):
I would watch, you know, I'm gonna tell him, Hey,
I watch you. We got him up here in the studio.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
That's no, you do not, so you do.
Speaker 3 (42:07):
Why would I lie about something like that?
Speaker 1 (42:09):
Where do you even find that?
Speaker 3 (42:11):
On the Indoor Football League dot Com?
Speaker 2 (42:14):
Okay, well, I will do some research at some point
in time. But see now you already have something over
me because I'm gonna you. You can be the support
system that he needs. And I'm just going to tell
it nobody, there's college best.
Speaker 3 (42:24):
Why don't you take next weekend off? Me and Fitz
will run run it back without you, and we'll see
what happens the next weekend.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
I might just because I'm going to be at the
beach anyway. I was gonna do the show from the beach.
But maybe maybe we just maybe we just step away
and see if we can't cause him internal struck more
than we already have on this show on a regular.
Speaker 3 (42:44):
You're the best.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
No, you're the best for being willing to fill in
for our dope uh, for our dope show on a
regular basis, and we're happy to have you. We are
also happy to have the NFL Draft on the horizon
at this point in time. I'm here in Tennessee, so
I'm fascinated to see what the Titans do with the
fourth overall Pickchare my love has been talked about. Sonny
Styles had a crazy combine. They need a pass rusher.
There's a few, but they all come with some interesting context.
(43:12):
For lack of a better term, around each individual pass
rusher in this draft. And it's interesting, Bridget, because your
colleague at the NFL Network, Kyle Brandt, was in town
on Thursday. He was the celebrity surprise host for the
Titans uniform reveal, and he put out a tweet. I
don't know if this was in advance of his appearance
on the stage here in Nashville, but he put out
(43:32):
a tweet earlier in the week saying one team picking
in the top five of the NFL Draft will make
the playoffs next year. And then he left the context
alone and he shows up on the stage in Nashville,
he references the tweet, They throw the tweet up behind him.
He's been leaning into the Titans organization for a while now,
because if it's an island that you want to be on,
it's there for the taking. There's not a lot of
(43:52):
people banging that drum at this point. But he was
on a mike screaming at Titans fans that were in
attendance at this uniform that it's not going to.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
Be the Raiders.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
It's not going to be the Jets, the Cardinals, or
the Giants picking in the top five that makes the playoffs.
He thinks it's going to be the Tennessee Titans, and
those of us who are in Tennessee looked around and said, well,
you know.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
Maybe I'll tell you one thing if you need a heypeman.
Kyle Brant is it when he gets behind something, he'll
make you believe it.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
Yeah. Absolutely, he crushed it.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
But I wonder as you look at these teams understanding
we still have the draft ahead of us, and these
conversations can be had at every touch point in the
NFL offseason about who got better appreciably how much more
did a team at the bottom of these standings raise
their floor in efforts to be competitive. But at this point,
as we get through the first major wave of free agency,
(44:42):
I wonder which team has influenced you the most to
think that they could perform at.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
A meaningful, a meaningfully higher.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Level in twenty twenty six. Between the Raiders, Jets, Cardinals, Titans,
and Giants.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
There's only one correct answer, and it's the Giants. And
if you're not saying that, you're out of your mind.
Harbaugh is enough right there to make me believe the
Giants are going to be the team in uh we're
talking about in the playoffs, right, we're not talking about Yeah, Okay.
For a second with the pause, I was like, wait,
were you talking about picking in the top five? John Harbaugh.
He's a winning coach, the structure that he'll bring, the
(45:17):
desire to be great from those players that are going
to get coached by this guy who has done it.
He knows what it takes. I love the move to
go get Patrick Ricard, the full back. The Giants went
out and got him in free agency. Pair him with
Cam Skataboo. Ooh. Their offense was already fifth and rushing
last season. They're only going to get better. Isaiah Likely
(45:38):
also a former Raven, joining John Harbaugh in New York.
And then they have linebackers tremain Edmund's corner Greg Knewsome.
They went out and got Look, Skataboo is coming back
from the dislocated ankle, so I understand that there's a
lot of concern. He was on the Rich Eisends Show
this week. He was pretty funny, saying like, right now
the only thing he could get away from is a
baby hippo, saying like he can only really like job.
(46:00):
But he says he'll be ready to go by training
camp and like a little over a month, he says
he'll be one hundred percent, So I don't know. And
then Malik neighbors he'll be back at some point obviously
towards acl last season. The Giants defense, they have a
lot of promise, Keeveon, Thibodeau, Dexter, Lawrence Abdul Carter, Brian Burns,
and then the fifth pick in the draft. How do
you look at these five teams and not pick the Giants?
Speaker 2 (46:23):
Well, it's an interesting discussion because of the divisions that
we're talking about here, because.
Speaker 3 (46:29):
Okay, but look at the the NFC East is so interesting. Yeah, sure,
like the Cowboys. Sure, on paper, yeah, the Cowboys, but
it's the Cowboys. And then you have the Commanders, which sure,
and Jenden Daniel's first year went very far, but like
what happened to you was different? Yeah, and then I
(46:49):
just the Eagles, Yes, but what's going on with aj Brown?
Have they figured that out yet? Nick Sirianni, I don't know.
It's such an I understand when you look at like
the NFC South or sorry, the AFC South, that looks
like the easiest division to win, sure, but the NFC
East is weird.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
Yeah, I don't know that I would make the case
for the Titans. I get the case for the Titans,
and I think that they are in a better position
to have that conversation. I do think Brian Davile makes
a difference for cam Ward coming in here. They've signed
Bridget's sixteen players in free agency at the start for them,
no star power.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
I'm not saying.
Speaker 2 (47:30):
I just think the conversation for us here in Nashville
is okay.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
At least they make you think about it.
Speaker 2 (47:36):
I wouldn't pick them in this particular scenario, but at
least they are.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
At a point that makes you think about it, which
is what they Yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
No, I'm not making the case for Tennessee. I'd make
the case for Vegas. I think that Vegas is going
to be a fascinating one here. Now, obviously they got
a quarterback situation that we think is going to be
uh for We almost are assure that Fernanda Mendoza is
going to be the number one overall pick in the draft.
It sounds like their intention is to try and avoid
starting him at the onset and given that they traded
(48:09):
Geno Smith back to the Jets full circle, I'm fascinated
to see who they decide. Kirk Cousins is going to
come in there and try and get this thing rolling.
If Mendoza is not going to be the option at
the very start of the year, I'd be surprised if
he doesn't end up starting this season the way that
cam Ward did here in Tennessee last year.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
But I think that Vegas has.
Speaker 2 (48:30):
Done so much work for that offense, and I am
so curious to see what Clint Kubiak is able to
do with the collection of players that we thought would
have some juice last year. And I mean, how many
different things went sideways in Las Vegas for this Raiders
team that is now in a situation to upgrade at
the quarterback position. I know no slight to Pete Carroll
(48:53):
or Chip Kelly, who have done a lot of great
things in their coaching careers, but I think that this
is the right direction for them to head in as
a coaching staff. I'm I'm fat I think I might
pick the Raiders here.
Speaker 3 (49:05):
Okay, so that was gonna be my hot take. I
thought we all were just gonna easily say the Giants.
So if you had picked the Giants too, I was like, Okay, well,
I have a hot take in the Raiders. I totally
agree with you. The only thing is that division. It's
another one that's tricky. The Broncos obviously made it to
the AFC Title Game, and then they have their quarterback
who's going to be coming back from bonicks an ankle injury,
Like not that big a deal, but you still don't know.
(49:26):
And there was some weird things with Sean Payton like
is that real? Is that fake? Somewhere in the middle again.
Then you have the Chargers, who I love what they've
done in free agency. They still need help at the
guard position, but Mike McDaniel paired with some of those
uh players that they got in free agency, they should
be good. But every year we say the same thing,
the Chargers should be good. They they they look good
(49:48):
on paper, but it's yeah.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
That does for them.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
That's the crazy thing. I feel like the Chargers. I
have wanted to believe that franchise for a decade.
Speaker 3 (49:58):
I have literally said this for five six years now,
the Chargers of the team, they're gonna be good, and
I'm just that's why it's with an asterisk, okay for me.
And then the Chiefs Okay, yeah, sure, Patrick Mahomes is
out with an ACL but hello, everything that now Travis
Kelsey's back. I don't know. You just can't again weird division.
(50:18):
I don't think the Raiders win the division. Do I
think they can get in with a wild card one
hundred percent. And the thing is because, Okay, if you
go out there and draft Fernando Mendoza, you don't need
him to be great, especially in his first year. You
just need him to be okay, because they have now
a Max Crosby who is mad, Okay, mad Max? He
(50:40):
is mad. He is proving everybody, Hey, the Raiders or
the Ravens messed up, like I'm still that dude. And
he's coming back from injury. And they went out and
got so much talent. They have an improved offensive line,
creative offensive coach. I mean Tom Brady overseeing the operation.
Let's not forget about that. Love him or hate it,
(51:00):
but he knows how to win. And ten draft picks.
That's a lot. Okay, even if they don't have two
first round picks, fine, that's still a lot.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
We do have a Torture Jets fan on the show,
and I don't know, I don't know how Iwan Roddy
feels about Geno Smith being reunited. It's so fun to
be met with. But see what Bridget just did with you.
And I think that's the perpetual thing that Jets fans
are met with, which is just generally anything that they've done.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Oh no, like are you.
Speaker 8 (51:30):
I think if he'd signed somewhere else, it would have
been like, oh, you know, it's a nice move.
Speaker 6 (51:34):
It's a good bridge quarterback for the Jets. It's a
laughing stock.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
Well it's just I mean, but it is the best
quarterback situation that you've had.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
I saw this tweet on Twitter.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
I can't I forgive me for not attributing proper credit,
but I did see somebody make the joke this week
on social media that it's the best quarterback situation that
the Jets have had since they last had Geno Smith.
Speaker 1 (51:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (51:51):
I think that's like the last time they had a
winning record, Chris it was still on the team.
Speaker 3 (51:56):
It's so fascinating to me that these there are like
the same teams that no matter what they do, they
cannot get it right. And like justice for Jets fans,
because I don't know how you are still living and
breathing with everything that you go through. You get Aaron
Rodgers and it's like, oh my god, this is our year,
and then the oh my god, the Achilles, and then
(52:18):
it's just every time you think. And one of my
friend's dad is a Jets fan and we always text
back and forth, like every time you think it's gonna
go your way, it just doesn't. And growing up in
New England, I can't feel that bad, but I do.
I do have a little soft spot for Jets fans
because you are a diehard fan. Look, if the Jets
were in LA, there would be no fans. The Rams
(52:40):
and Chargers can barely hang on to their fans out
here in LA. So justice for Jets fans, and God,
I hope it's I hope it's your year. I hope
that we're wrong.
Speaker 8 (52:49):
Well, when you say that all these these same teams
are bad every single year, it's like the Jets, you know,
like the Cardinals, the Cardinals exactly.
Speaker 1 (52:58):
I don't know why.
Speaker 6 (52:59):
I'm just like blaying right when I need to, the
Browns right.
Speaker 8 (53:02):
The list goes on, and the point is it always
traces back to ownership total, So I don't understand why
there can't be some rule where it's like, if you
missed the playoffs for ten years.
Speaker 3 (53:12):
Running, you have to sell the team.
Speaker 6 (53:14):
Why can't they be forced to sell the team for
the sake of parody.
Speaker 3 (53:16):
Because you can't tell a billionaire what to do. Yeah,
but that would be interesting.
Speaker 2 (53:22):
I yeah, I mean, especially especially given the whole the
NFLPA report card story that I'm sure everybody has talked
weird and nauseum, and Woody Johnson is the one trying
to put the kibosh on it because he called it
I can't remember exactly his term, but he called it
utter nonsense, totally totally bogus. And then he gets he
got a good grade, which is funny. So now is
(53:43):
it totally bogus? What?
Speaker 1 (53:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (53:45):
I don't know what to make of the Jets and
their situation. I'm sure that a Jets fan appreciates the
pity from somebody from New England being like, oh, you're
just so cute. I hope you do better in twenty
twenty six. Gotta feel good anyway, Bridge oft Con and
fill it in here for Jayson and Fits on Foxsports

the biggest moves of this NFL offseason coming up next
stick around on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
NFL Free Agency feels.
Speaker 3 (55:04):
We're not going to talk about that.
Speaker 2 (55:05):
Christmas in March. He's pretty Condon. I'm Buck Rising here
on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 1 (55:11):
Your thoughts.
Speaker 3 (55:12):
Wow, I am just learning a lot about you, Buck,
and I know that we're going to get into it
this segment, and I'm gonna not like you even more.
I mean, I love you, but it's just like.
Speaker 1 (55:24):
You can love me and not like me. I get it.
Speaker 3 (55:26):
Can you have some fun? What do you Why do
you hate everything?
Speaker 1 (55:32):
I don't hate everything. I just have very strong opinions
on pretty much everything, if.
Speaker 3 (55:39):
That totally, and just like.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
Things that will actively agitate me for sure, like it's
it's every day.
Speaker 3 (55:46):
He hates Christmas, not supportive of friends, and loves people arguing.
Speaker 6 (55:53):
Hates going to the movies too. I was gonna play that.
Speaker 3 (55:56):
By the way, God hates going to the movie. He
also doesn't like one about popcorn, and we also have
another one of him hating on frozen grapes.
Speaker 1 (56:02):
I mean, you just want to.
Speaker 2 (56:03):
Play one, kids, You just want to out me in
front of bridget where this is what happens when somebody
comes into the family and we show them our dysfunction
and then they have to sit there in it with us, like,
well done by the two of you.
Speaker 3 (56:15):
What do you like beer?
Speaker 6 (56:18):
Being drunk?
Speaker 3 (56:19):
Oh my god, how old are you grow up?
Speaker 1 (56:21):
I'm thirty two and you.
Speaker 3 (56:23):
Like being drunk? Don't you love like waking up in
the morning not hungover.
Speaker 2 (56:26):
Is that I had a wonderful day filled with many
margaritas and college basketball yesterday.
Speaker 3 (56:34):
Margarita Drinker, you are the tough man who hates everything,
but you're like, I want to merg.
Speaker 1 (56:40):
I like a tequila soda. I like a tequila old fashion.
Speaker 3 (56:43):
I like it Totila old fashion.
Speaker 2 (56:46):
Yeah, It's just the only thing I can drink. Everything
else makes me sleepy.
Speaker 3 (56:50):
Oh my god, maintenance.
Speaker 1 (56:53):
Yeah, brotox tequila. What else do we have?
Speaker 3 (56:58):
His dance on Golden Corral?
Speaker 2 (57:00):
Know, I hate Golden Correll. I hate Mary tries to
propagate this. The worst possible thing that you could try
and pin me in on is that I would eat
at some place like Golden Correll unless they wanted to
pay me money, in which I would probably promote the
gold career.
Speaker 3 (57:13):
And we're fascinating, fascinating character.
Speaker 2 (57:16):
There's a lot of therapy that has gone gone through,
you know, many many years, many many different threads, many
rabbit holes of why do I get as angry about
some things that most would not just not even bother
normal people would actually make other people happy.
Speaker 1 (57:33):
I don't know why I'm the way I am Bridget.
But it's just, you know, this is why we do
what we do.
Speaker 3 (57:36):
We can talk about it, you know, we can get
you to the place you need to be.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
But what is the thing that has offended you most
since you have been with us for these you know,
this hour and a half.
Speaker 3 (57:48):
I think the fact that you hate Christmas.
Speaker 1 (57:51):
It's not that I hate Christmas.
Speaker 2 (57:55):
This is this is not some This is not some
ASPCA you know, arms of an angel situation. It's not
that I'm down on Christmas. Listen, you work in football,
you work holidays. Yeah, like holidays.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (58:07):
I don't think about it until it's right upon it.
I'm like, oh, okay, we're.
Speaker 3 (58:11):
I'm I'm gonna be praying for you tonight, book, because
you you are lost. You need to look inward. You
need to pull out that little boy that used to
just jump for joy when the carollers showed up, and
you need to find him again. I know he's in
there and bring him out. We just want a happy, fun,
(58:31):
loving book.
Speaker 2 (58:33):
I regret to inform you that even as a small child,
a little bit petulant and angry.
Speaker 8 (58:39):
Yeah, I'm picturing a ten year old book in a
bathroobe opening the door.
Speaker 3 (58:43):
I don't want to see santas.
Speaker 6 (58:45):
Let's right in their face.
Speaker 1 (58:46):
Yeah, the guy smells weird. Not all.
Speaker 3 (58:48):
I didn't even get good presents this year.
Speaker 2 (58:50):
Get out of here with the you know this fake
beard and the cigarette smells from your malsanta. Okay, not
for me, Not for me at five years old. Maybe
for some people.
Speaker 1 (58:58):
Not for me.
Speaker 2 (58:59):
What is for me is fel free agency. And we
have a lot of different teams and try trying so desperately.
Speaker 1 (59:04):
To get all this. No, no, are you kidding me?
This is my entire life. I live for this.
Speaker 3 (59:10):
But you just like you're like an onion. Everything I hear,
it's just like more and more fascinating. I got to
come to Nashville. We got to go get margs.
Speaker 1 (59:17):
Well that's the thing, you know.
Speaker 2 (59:18):
They call it here in Nashville, Peter Pant syndrome where
you don't really have to grow up.
Speaker 1 (59:23):
If you live in a place like Nashville.
Speaker 3 (59:25):
Tennessee, do you still go and like sing on stage
at the honky Tonk or whatever they do there?
Speaker 1 (59:29):
Ah, Miss Kelly's the karaoke bar.
Speaker 3 (59:31):
Sure, hell yeah, it's your go to karaoke song.
Speaker 2 (59:34):
Ooh I fluctuate. I like a little uh, how do
you like me now? By Toba Keith. I can do that,
I can do ooh. There was a really really good
one that I was on the other day that you
would not think I had in my bag and I
can't remember what it was. Yes, of course, if I'm
doing karaoke, there have been several Margarita's involved.
Speaker 3 (59:54):
You got a full schedule radio SEC tournament. Sure, karaoke.
I mean, like I said, old fashioned, like, guys got a.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Lot of things going on in l A. You guys
got a lot of I don't have kids. I don't
have I don't have I don't have real responsibilities. Honestly,
it's kind of great. I'm sitting in my house doing
doing a radio show. I'm gonna go meet my friends
down around Lower broad.
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
Hearing about a half hour. It's beautiful, haventy four degrees.
Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
Jealous, No, no, no, I'm happy. I'm I'm very jealous. Like
what a life you're living, Buck, Like you are living
most people's dream.
Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
Yes, this is why I feel to feel the way
that I know. I mean, it's not upset. I just
get I get triggered by things that I I shouldn't
have strong opinions on like sports. I have a lot
of opinions on things in sports. Turns out, also in
real life there are things that will that I will
find uh maybe not out right offensive, but things that
(01:00:57):
would not bother normal people find ways to bother me.
Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
I don't know what to do about that.
Speaker 3 (01:01:03):
Keep talking about it. We can get you through it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
Okay, Well, we'll take a pause on this conversation and
pivot back to some NFL free agency discussion right after
we get updated on the latest that's going on in
sports with Monte Belanos.
Speaker 3 (01:01:17):
Guys, I am back.
Speaker 7 (01:01:18):
A lot of college hoops going on right now. The
Big East Final going on between Yukon and Saint John's
and Saint John's up right now, forty to that's not right,
Hold on a second, Hold on a second. There we
go forty to twenty seven. It is halftime in that one.
When it comes to the Big Twelve Championship, it's still
early in the second half, but the Wildcats Arizona leads
(01:01:39):
Houston right now forty eight to thirty six. Again, that
one just got going in the second half, just like
the Mountain West Championship they got going in the second
half as well, and Utah State leads San Diego State
forty one to thirty five. What happened earlier today at
the Big Ten semi Final, Michigan defeated Wisconsin sixty eight
to sixty five, and seven seed per due top six
seed Ucla, so it'll be Michigan in Purdue in the
(01:02:01):
Big Ten Championship. At the SEC semi Final, three seed
Arkansas survived ninety three to ninety against fifteen seed Ole
Miss in overtime, and number twenty two Vanderbilt defeated fourth
rank Florida ninety one to seventy four, so Arkansas and
Vanderbilt are headed to the SEC Championship.
Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
At the Ivy League.
Speaker 7 (01:02:19):
Semi final, Pennsylvania one at sixty two to sixty against
Harvard n ot Yelle defeated Cornell eighty eight to seventy six,
so it'll be Pennsylvania and Yell at the Ivy League Championship.
Howard is headed to the Big Dance after winning the
MEAC Championship today against North Carolina. Central UMBC is headed
to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since twenty
eighteen after beating Vermont in the American East Championship. When
(01:02:42):
it comes to the NBA, there's a game going on
right now. It's the Celtics and the Wizards. Boston is
up eighty one to fifty three halfway through the third quarter.
Seventy six Ers already top the Nets one oh four
to ninety seven.
Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
Hawks have won nine in a row.
Speaker 7 (01:02:54):
Don't look at who they be. It might you know,
make you change your mind on the nine in a row.
But they beat the Bucks one twenty two to ninety nine.
Jaalen Johnson a triple double in the win Victor Win
Banyama a double double, thirty two points, twelve rebounds as
the Spurs outscored the Hornets at home one fifteen to
one two and at the World Baseball Classic, Italy defeated
Puerto Rico eight to two. Still to come, we'll be
the quarterfinals between Venezuela and Japan, with first pitch at
(01:03:17):
nine pm Eastern Time on Fox.
Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
Back to you, guys.
Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
Manzi always makes me so happy when she does the updates.
Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
Fitzi says this as well, but there's just there's just
an agency, Bridget.
Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
I'm not unhappy about everything. Manzi makes me.
Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
Happy, got great energy, She's got She's got great information.
Always good to have her a part of the show.
Always good to have Bridget Condon fill it in.
Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
You need some ladies on the show.
Speaker 7 (01:03:40):
Sometimes you need some ladies to spice it up for them.
Speaker 3 (01:03:42):
I walked. I was gonna walk out of here and
say to Scott or the guy who texts and says, hey,
can you fill in never again for that show? Please
take me off the list. But you just made it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
Maybe Oh Mary, Mary just rolling her eyes both of you,
because she has to deal with us on a run.
Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
He doesn't get that she's stuck. Justice for Mary. We
got Mary. We got a Jets fan, oh my goodness.
Speaker 7 (01:04:11):
A Titans fan, even though he says he's not.
Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
No, hell no, you could not pay me.
Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Okay, Are we going to talk about Bam because that's
where I thought you were going to get mad at me.
Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
No, but we sure can talk about Bam at a
bio and his eighty three point performance because a lot
of people are trying to yuck Bam out of bios yum,
and I don't know eighty three points No matter how
many free throws it takes to get there. I gotta
feel like I'm pretty impressed with it? What are your
thoughts that are going to irk me even further?
Speaker 3 (01:04:39):
Yeah, okay, here they are. Why does every great moment
immediately have to become a competition. Why can't we just
celebrate something incredible when it happens? People are so uncomfortable
when someone new enters the conversation, Bam scores eighty three
and everybody is like, oh, but Kobe scored eighty one,
and the way he scored it was better? Okay, cool?
(01:05:01):
Like what makes you so insecure? Why can't you just
be like, oh, that's awesome and move on with your day.
Like I don't understand it. Like we love sports debates,
You love when people get angry, You love like people debating,
But like, why are we constantly in our society in
twenty twenty six acting like there's only one seat at
the table? And this is Maybe it's because I'm a
(01:05:21):
woman in sports and we get this so much as
women in sports that it's like there could only be
one woman who's great at what they do. Okay, So
like I'm just so sick of that narrative, Like don't
great people make the person next to them better? How
about that? How about people being like, oh my god,
he did eighty three. Shoot maybe I can well.
Speaker 2 (01:05:44):
I think that that's a completely fair perspective because there's
there's nothing not to love.
Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
Tell me how you really feel. I know you're not agreeing.
Speaker 1 (01:05:52):
No, I don't necessarily disagree.
Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
Listen for all of my my you know, my specific
personality quirks and how I feel strongly about things. I
largely agree with you, even though I'm one of the
people who will often have strong opinions on things. Because
there's nothing not to love about the bam adebio store.
He's a great basketball player, amazing basketball player. And I'm
not in Miami on a regular basis, But people that
(01:06:16):
have covered or that I know that cover Miami teams
and cover the heat specifically all accounts super solid guy
on and off the court, and you know, I think
he's Him and his lovely girlfriend are Asia Wilson are
becoming one of my favorite celebrity couples because she is
also an exceptional basketball player. She also has accomplished great
(01:06:39):
things in her sport. So to see them kind of
feeding off of each other's energy, I support it now,
but there are always Basketball has more of these than
I think any other sport bridget where people will become
so angry and so protective of their image, the image
that they have in their head of Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan,
(01:07:02):
Lebron James, who is better than the other because it is,
despite being a team sport, it does have a lot
of individual qualities, a lot of individual greatness.
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
That happen in these moments.
Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
So as soon as you start to prop a player
up who the basketball zelots don't feel belong at the table.
I feel like NBA fans, You guys can correct me
if I'm wrong on this, but I feel like NBA
fans are more visceral in their reaction about individual players
than any other sport, and specifically team sports.
Speaker 3 (01:07:32):
You know what's wrong with our society many things. This
sums it up, though. So this guy just went out
and scored eighty three points, which I get thirty six
of those were free throws. Okay, he got to the
line forty three times. Fine, Fine, he still scored eighty
three points. Instead of congratulating him and I don't know,
(01:07:54):
talking about the fact that he brought his woman on
up to the podium with him postgame to sit with
her with him and say, hey, I did all this
because of her. She motivates me, she inspires me. We
just decide to say this wasn't legit, you know, put
(01:08:14):
put a X next to it, because this wasn't This
wasn't Actually they weren't down, you know Kobe's he helped
them come back from a fourteen point deficit. Can we
just pause and talk about the fact that this man,
on the best night of his professional career, Okay, put
up eighty three points. I think his high was like
in the forties before this. He put up eighty three
(01:08:37):
points and afterwards decided to bring up his lady Okay,
to share the moment with her. Every if if we
would just stop comparing him to Kobe and look at
what he did from a like man woman coming together,
(01:08:58):
we can all unite and help one another get better.
We would be a better society because the fact that
he did that is not being talked about enough.
Speaker 1 (01:09:09):
Is that that that feels like a campaign platform? Almost? No, No, no,
I love it.
Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
Bridget Condon for equality, Yeah sure, I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
Yeah, no, I listen. I support every point that you
just made.
Speaker 2 (01:09:23):
Now I'm I'm a little hurt that you think that
I would not in this particular situation. But what if
what if I did nage it one way and so
he did it against the Wizards?
Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
Okay, yeah, I mean the Wizards.
Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
Agree because it's not it's not it's not about not
about Covie, about Hey, it's the.
Speaker 3 (01:09:39):
Wizards, And I'm mistaken. Doesn't every other team play against
the Wizards? Or not every team, but like, don't other
teams play against the Wizards?
Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
Okay, So where are there eighty three points I'm saying
I'm saying. I'm just saying what somebody. It's not like
somebody's putting eighty three points up against the Wizards every
time they get up there on the court.
Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
Feel that way, though, I don't know if you watch
the Wizards yet, there's not a lot of reasons to
watch it.
Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
With my husband's from the DC area. Look, I don't
even I don't even want to talk about the Wizards.
Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
Okay, I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
Just don't say that word in my ear.
Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
I sure won't.
Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
What we will do coming up next is we will
play a game America's favorite game show.
Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
Would you rather Bridget.
Speaker 2 (01:10:20):
Condon filling in for Jason fits here on this Fox
Sports Saturday The best part of this show, mostly for
the audience because it's over comes your way. Next listen
for whatever we are as a show. God help us.
It's Bucking Fits with Bridget Condon filling in for Jason
Fits on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 1 (01:10:42):
Mary always gets the vibes right.
Speaker 3 (01:10:44):
She is a vibe girl. I mean I can't even
see her back there because she has like a computer
screen in front of her, but I just know that
she is viby.
Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
Mary is Mary is the one who keeps me honest
around here. Fits he tries, but Mary is more effective
in these particular situations.
Speaker 1 (01:11:02):
Yeah. We yeah, Well that's that's as close as we're
gonna get here on this Fox Sports Saturday. We really
do appreciate you hanging out with us. Bridge. It's been
a lot of fun.
Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
No, I've enjoyed it, okay, But if I don't come back,
I want all the listeners to know it wasn't my choice.
It was Bucks.
Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
Well, I would I do that? Who used to say
we used to say, No, it's not true at all.
That's not true at all.
Speaker 1 (01:11:27):
I enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (01:11:28):
I just don't want to get too self involved on
the air, and that was leaning into my self involved
tendencies our conversation earlier.
Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
Oh god, okay, all right, let's let's let's avoid it.
I mean, you look, you can always come for me.
I can take it. I'm hard. I'm from Boston.
Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
No, I'm familiar with with your people.
Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
They are they are aggressive, they are I actually love
going to Boston. I love doing Dames in Foxborough. I
hate Jillette just logistically, that's a one.
Speaker 3 (01:11:56):
Person because it's far from from Logan Well.
Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
No, like Geel, Gellette inaccessible, like it's the North Korea
of the NFL where they have it very it's very you.
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Know, miserable.
Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
That was crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
I mean, that's that's how I feel. I mean, I
feel like a lot of people feel that way about
the Patriots organization. I just I hate the logistics of Gillette. Again,
that's not that's not for you know, the average fan
that's going to Gillett. That's just for me and my
uber logistics and all the different things and getting to
the airport, all of that. Anyway, America's favorite game show.
Would you rather quick bail me out?
Speaker 4 (01:12:36):
It's easy, guys, don't think too hard. Would you rather
buckets or fix it?
Speaker 6 (01:12:45):
All right, let's do it. Let's spin the wheel of
would you rather questions?
Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
The wheel's buffler. There's the wheel wy, things starting to
get squeaky.
Speaker 8 (01:12:58):
Okay, okay, we've actually already asked this one, but I
want I wanted to get Bridget's thoughts on this, because
this is my probably my favorite would you rather question we've.
Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
Had on the ship about feet.
Speaker 8 (01:13:09):
It's not one of those would you rather be the
head of a company or the head of a cult?
Speaker 3 (01:13:18):
Oh my god, I mean, like, in today's world, Bridget
Condon at thirty two years old, ahead of a company,
Bridget cont in five years ago, sign me up for
that cult. I'm just like, you know, like, I'm a
mom now, okay, I can't be running a cult and
Karen for a baby.
Speaker 2 (01:13:37):
I mean yeah, you just would run the risk of
indoctrinating your your children if you don't want to do
that depending on the cult.
Speaker 3 (01:13:43):
But running a cult would be so much more fun.
Speaker 6 (01:13:47):
Cult.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
That's why I picked the cult.
Speaker 3 (01:13:49):
Yeah you know again, Oh you picked the cult?
Speaker 1 (01:13:51):
Oh hell yeah? You kidding me.
Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
Raise your hand if you're shocked.
Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
That's a good bit on an audio medium. But either way,
in the wheel, I forget the three of you are.
Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
Actually in the same room and we're talking about you sign.
Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
Language that's used to it.
Speaker 3 (01:14:10):
All.
Speaker 8 (01:14:10):
Right, a witch turns you into an animal for a week.
Would you rather it be a fish or a fly?
Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
You go, fly hundred percent. I want in on those
conversations that these NFL.
Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
General managers tea.
Speaker 3 (01:14:24):
Yeah, I want the tea I'm going into. I'm buzzing
into Buzzes Party. Buzzes Party.
Speaker 6 (01:14:28):
It's a journalists response.
Speaker 3 (01:14:30):
Yeah, I'm buzzing into Bucks night out in Nashville. Get
a little bit about him. I'm buzzing up to the
Titans facility. I'm buzzing all around the States, and hey,
I might even buzz over to Europe.
Speaker 1 (01:14:42):
Are you?
Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
Is this a transcontinental fly? This fly has got a
lot of longevity.
Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
This is an Olympic fly.
Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
Okay, okay, an Olympic fly.
Speaker 2 (01:14:49):
I feel like, what is the shelf life of your
average fly? I feel like they're not lasting long enough
to do all of.
Speaker 6 (01:14:54):
That good point. I don't know if a fly last
a week.
Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
I don't know that the fish is lasting that much
longer either. But you know, you got little mobility. Mobility
is the fly and.
Speaker 3 (01:15:01):
Also fifteen to thirty days okay, Oh god, that's what
the innerwebs say.
Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
All right, make it happen, Make it happen. You go,
You're gonna do a lot of heavy lifting for this fly.
But I'm with you. I'm a little, a little busybody
that way.
Speaker 1 (01:15:14):
Too, all right.
Speaker 8 (01:15:22):
Would you rather never have to wait in lines for
anything ever? Or always have a reserved parking spot everywhere
you go in the most convenient spot possible?
Speaker 1 (01:15:31):
Oh no, it's the lines. I don't. I don't wait
on lines now.
Speaker 3 (01:15:36):
Of course you don't.
Speaker 1 (01:15:37):
Hell no kidding me. Lines. I'm gonna stay at our
at our stage of life. Hell with lines.
Speaker 3 (01:15:43):
I'm gonna say lines like a parking spot. I don't
mind getting the extra steps, Like it's fine, it's a
nice day out. I'll park car away and like if
your car is parked right by the shop, like people
are gonna walk by it. More people are gonna walk
by it probably I don't know, put their hands on it,
or even if you're near like the shopping cards, they
could be, you know, putting it into your car. I'll
park for our way.
Speaker 2 (01:16:03):
Yeah, I why else have this damn apple watch? If
I'm not going to track my steps and have some
kind of you know, accomplishment.
Speaker 3 (01:16:09):
Are you a ten k a day guy?
Speaker 1 (01:16:11):
I am an eight k a day guy. I come on,
I go the extra two?
Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
Why not go the extra two because I gotta go
to a barn have with the a tequila old fashion.
Speaker 3 (01:16:19):
Okay, okay, very there, totally we should have known that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
Oh my balance, moderation is key in both things, you know, now,
I do see the Bridge of Condon on Instagram is
a twice a day workout type of gal.
Speaker 1 (01:16:31):
So she's getting a ten k steps.
Speaker 3 (01:16:32):
Look, I had a baby. I mean, I've said this
a thousand times, but you gotta you gotta work out
like five times a day. I'm having a baby. If
you want to look look like you can.
Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
Be on TV.
Speaker 3 (01:16:43):
Just reality. I don't do this for fun.
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
My solution is a little a little bit of brotox
and asauna.
Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
That's about as close to the twice a day workout
as I'm getting.
Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
No, I mean, we in college, we used to we
used to not not bribe, but tip the people, the
bouncers to get past the line. Even in college, Like,
it's something that I absolutely refuse to do. There's just
so many other better ways to spend your time than
standing in a damn line. To just go into another
(01:17:13):
place and stand around waiting for a drink and do
more standing all these different things.
Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
Just get past the line, spend a wheel.
Speaker 8 (01:17:25):
Would you rather have to hunt and gather all of
your food or eat only Golden Corral for every mare?
Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
This is such a mary. I don't appreciate this.
Speaker 3 (01:17:37):
You go first, O God.
Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
God, no, you're trying to box me in. I don't
accept this. I don't accept this at all. You know what,
I would rather.
Speaker 1 (01:17:50):
Attempt to gather my own food.
Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
I would sharpen a stick in a yard and go
out and try and spear a bird before you sent
me down that conveyor belt line with the chocolate fountain
and the steak that's you know, made basically of cardboard,
and all the different you know you can go around
the world.
Speaker 1 (01:18:10):
It's like a crappy epcot. I'm correl see you different things.
Speaker 3 (01:18:15):
Does Golden Coral know they're catching strays on the show?
Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
I mean, if they it's been it's been almost a year.
Surely by now we've ranked ruffled the feathers of the
marketing people at Golden Crowd. I don't care, all right,
I feel the way that I feel about the Golden Crowd.
It's the one stand that I will take. I will
hunt and gather my own food and likely die before
I get back in a line at a buffet.
Speaker 3 (01:18:38):
Okay, look, I'm gonna say hunting gather as well. There
are no rules and would you rather and you did
not specify how we have to hunt and gather. I'm
going into whole foods and I'm hunting for my food. Okay,
come on, boom, come on. I'm not a big a
buffet girl either. Look, I'm be honest, I'm not a
big golden crust.
Speaker 1 (01:18:56):
Anything with a sneeze guard.
Speaker 2 (01:18:57):
I don't want to be eating places where there's sneak
east guards.
Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
There was a really I went to James Madison in Harrisonburg,
Virginia and the Golden Corral in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I think
would scar anyone. So I'm gonna go hunting gather.
Speaker 2 (01:19:12):
Well, hopefully we have not scarred Bridget Condon too much
for her time spending here with us filling in for
Jason Fitzba Bridget, we do appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:21):
You're the best Mary and Ian. They really made up
for anything you lacked Hey, how about tequila shop for me?
Speaker 2 (01:19:28):
I sure will. I'm heading to mother's ruin right after this.
