Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to sports.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Let's go stick a genius.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Let's go go, big boy, let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Let's go. You were unaware the Pro Bowl wasn't today.
I had no idea. I had no idea.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
I was like, okay, at least I got the I
got the Pro Bowl to watch, and I started looking like,
when is this damn thing on anyway?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
But it's not even the same. I mean, they don't
put pads on. It hasn't been.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
But I got to watch some football, and then then
I found out it was on Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
I can't be right.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I got that I'm fake news, fake news. I'm falling
board again. And then I looked to the couple of
other places and everybody said tuesday. Still thought it was
fake news. But I still think right now it's fake.
Is it on Tuesday or what? I do not want
to make sure it is on Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
It was White Heart is there in night or what? No? No, no.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
It was part of their integration into like super Bowl week.
So I wasn't really truly aware of this until honestly,
I saw your tweet.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
I was like, oh, yeah, that's right.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
I haven't seen about the Pro Bowl yet today and
that's whenever I dug in and the NFL had made
a shift in the Pro Bowl date. And again, we're
no dummies here, we know that it wasn't the true
game anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
It's like a flag football.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Game now, and it's a skills competition more than anything else.
But it's funny how you grinch and moan about it
whenever it's being played and it's soft, you're like, gotch,
this is even football, right, But then when it's not
play you're like, well, the hell's Pro Bowl? At Why
is it not going on?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I got to make fun of it Tuesday on a Tuesday.
What sport would ever say, yeah, we got to play
that on a Tuesday, like the NBA All Star Game? Well,
major League Baseball.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Also the Baseball All Star Games on a Tuesday is
on a Tuesday. You're right about that. Baseball would be one.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Baseball would be one. I just don't know if I
want to put the Pro Bowl, oh, when you have
a week in between the last game and the Super
maybe i'd want to, you know, capture it on the weekend.
It does so well on TV ratings wise, why would
you mess it up like that?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Right? Isn't it one?

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Of the most surprising hits when it comes to TV ratings,
like universally destroyed and despised. But yet every single time
you'd see the TV ratings, they'd be mammoth for the
All Star or for the Pro Bowl. Excuse me, just
mayter if I could believe that, though you know, I
think they're making up fake news making fair.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
It would be.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
You know, it's like if you have your TV on
for what three minutes, or you get ratings for something
like that. I just have no idea how people are
watching this thing.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
To be honest with.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
You, maybe it's just you're so used to watching football
on a Sunday, like, oh, yeah, here we go football.
That's what I'm supposed to be watching. Anyway, just write
down and I'm watching football.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
I will say.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
What caught my attention tonight is something that you don't
even have on the Roman numeral rundown here.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Oh no, Olympics. No, I was watching hockey.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
I was watching hockey too.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
You watch the.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Bruins game, Yes, that was that was great. Came back
from that.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I was watching that.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
You had a goalie fight that took place in the
middle of it. You had a I think it was
five to two at one point the Lightning came back
to win it. I loved it, man, I loved it.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Every time I see Jerby swayman, I think my kids
should be in net instead of him.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Why what's uh do you? Did he play the same age?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
I remember him coming up against Shay and you know, yeah,
it was you know, I just said, my kid's better
than that guy, and he was looking at all the
offers he's getting.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
So, in other words, you were of the opinion that
your son was better than him, and your son should
be playing in a Stanley Cup outdoor. I don't know
if they still play that stadium series thing that they call, but.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, by the way, yes, exactly. And how far were
the fans from seeing the game? Was that like a
mile and a half or how long was that?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I'm just it was the most confusing thing.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Because everything, I'm like, why do they have all those
pieces of like wooden stuff all around instruction?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah, like a construction side. It's like, what the hell
is this?

Speaker 4 (04:02):
And then lo and behold it's I don't know, I
guess it's supposed to give the aura of where they are.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
But I thought it was great.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
And by the way, kudos to the NHL, and I
guess you can, in that same vein say kudos to
the NBA, who put some marquee events on the first
Sunday after the Super Bowl. Right, you'll point we had
two great NBA games. I'm watching the Thunder and the
Nuggets go out it right now with a nine to
two to go in the third. Okay, s he's up
by ten and you'll get your second game back. And

(04:29):
I was watching the Lakers a little bit earlier, get beat.
And then you've got the stadium series. You get Tampa
and Boston they play at Thrillers. So you know you
don't have football on a Sunday. Let's go put something
else on there.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
I want to say something I was I was watching
the Knicks.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
And the Lakers. Okay, that's your Nicks, by the way, Well,
thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
And let's be honest. It's a meaningless regular season game.
It's just one in eighty two. And you know, somebody
tweeted out about the ticket prices. I said, you know what,
I really would love to go to a game if
it wasn't so cool. To the start of our show,
I really would like to go to one Knicks game.
Looked up the ticket prices. The worst seats in the house,

(05:08):
Chris was about six hundred dollars. I got shame on them.
A regular season game on a Sunday night, and this
is how you fleece the fans six hundred dollars to
get the worst seat thousand and of course I can't
even tell you how much more expensive when you got
to the lower ring and all that. I mean, it
was just embarrassing. I mean, and you know what, I

(05:29):
told my wife, we can afford to go. I would
hate it knowing that I spent one thousand dollars of
seat two thousand dollars in seats just to go see
a regular season game.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
And would you know what a regular season mind? You right,
make that clarification. You're one hundred percent ride on it's
a regular season game.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I mean really, when I saw the prices, I said,
that's not a hand of you know, I was playing
basketball with some of the guys. They go, you know what,
we'd rather fly to Charlotte get tickets. There'd be cheaper
and we get a vacation out of it.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
And it just.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
That they would charge so much. I was I'm just
like shocked. I go, I couldn't enjoy the game, the
one I spent money like that.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
It was just I was, Uh, you know, we're in
a very similar situation. I think in both. We have
an NBA team in our city, uh, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Now you can go sit in the upper level and
you can. You can get a pretty good ticket for
that game for a very affordable price, and ye have
friends that go. But and in college football, you can
go to about any college football game you want for

(06:27):
a reasonable amount of Right now, when it's one of
the big marquee games, it's gonna become a little bit ridiculous.
But I say it a lot, Arnie, and listen, I'm
not a trophy husband like you, but I I couldn't afford.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
To take my kids to games. I couldn't.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
I mean if especially those ticket prices for the Knicks,
because I'm going, I'm gonna take them there. We're gonna eat,
We're gonna I'm not gonna be I Listen, I understand
there's someone's like, well, you don't.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Have to eat the food at the game.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Come on, yeah, come on, man, you want you don't
want to go to the game and your kids. I came, man,
I want a hot You're like, no, we ate before
the game. You had your blowney sandwich on the way.
If you're gonna take your kid to a game, don't
make him put a blowy sandwich in a ziploc bag.
I mean, let them go experience it. And you're right,
I mean, this isn't two old men get off our
long kind of a rant here. But you're one hundred

(07:15):
percent true. Why would you spend that kind of money
for a regular season game? It's awesome, it's Madison Square Garden.
It's the Lakers and the Knicks. But it's also one
of eighty two and.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
And that rivalry no longer and that rivalry no longer
has the cachet for.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
You because we're fans of them.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
The NBA no longer has the cachet that it used
to have. To be honest with you, I remember when
the Knicks and the Lakers really meant something, and not
just for like playoffs and championships, just when they play.
You just got all geeked up. I remember I was
telling my wife when I was a kid, I'd come home,
look at the TV guide, See when the Knicks were
Lakers were playing that week, the one or two times

(07:57):
they'd play, I remember being k caw Child online in LA.
I'd plan my whole week around and I'm not sure, like,
oh my god, I can't wait till Thursday night when
they play and everybody be watching the game.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
It was just so you know, it's so important.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Now it's just an afterthought.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Nobody really cares about it. And listen, there's different levels
to this.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
If in cities where I think Denver is very passionate
about the Nuggets, We're watching the game here tonight, and
there's a great round there. Okay, s he's very passionate
about the thunder. But I think even those fan bases
are kind of to the degree of we're going to
the playoffs, right, you know, we're gonna play in the postseason.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
So this is great and all. But if we lose
this game tonight, that's fine.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
And I think you kind of see that's not I
don't know if it's fatigue or if it's just the
reality of it. I mean I feel that way about
okay see, and they're right here in my backyard. I'm
sure Laker fans feel that same way. It's like, oh man,
it sucks to lose, but you know we can bounce
back and win tomorrow. And there's times during the NBA
season where this is like the great secret. Sam Presti
said this a while back and it stayed with me.

(09:03):
There's gonna be stretches where you're like, my gosh, we're
the worst team in the NBA. We can't play at all,
and it's just part of a long season. So I'm
with you on this. It's wild because we'll talk a
lot about NBA whenever we get to the playoffs. But
I would say, Arnie, for a national radio show, we
probably talk the least NBA of about anybody.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
And that's not like it's like a badge I'm wearing
or anything.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
It's like we're a football show that digs college football,
that talk from college basketball. But the NBA might be
I don't know, maybe like fourth or fifth on our
depth chart.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
And I like basketball. I mean I enjoy it.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Like you said, you beat up Steve Kerr back in
the day.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
We're out in Los Angeles. Obviously they love the Lakers
out there. I'm here on the East Coast where you know,
you got a lot of teams around. You got the Celtics,
obviously you got the Nixon. I mean, it's important out here,
but the players make it where it's not important to them,
so the fans are like, it's not important to us.
I I just saw those ticket prices and it set
me off. I go, sure, that's horrible just for the

(10:06):
regular fan that wants.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
To go to a game.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
And I know it's a regular season we let's keep
clear because someone's gonna yell. It's like, oh, I saw
playoff tickets and Super Bowl tickets. We're talking a regular
season NBA game here.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
On a Sunday night. How many people can really actually
take their kids which school tomorrow anyway? You know, I
know it was like a seven o'clock game, you're probably
home before eleven. But still, I wouldn't think that was
a high ticket game just because the Lakers were in town.
It's just, you know, you really fleece the fans and
you know what's next. It's really I never thought the

(10:38):
NBA Baseball is kind of you know, it used to
be the most affordable sport out there. I think it
still is, but the NBA was right there, and now
it's almost impossible to take a family of four, you know,
if you don't have big money.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yeah, you gotta be.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
You gotta be in an upper upper tax bracket in
order to make that out. Well, I'm sorry you couldn't go.
If you would have got free tickets? Would you have gone?
If someone would?

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Because I can't, because the game, I would I wanted
to do the show because.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Let's say, hypothetically, all right, oh it's this is I'm
talking about today's game.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah, yeah, just the week before the super Bowl, so
I figure, you know, we have a lot to get to.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
But no, I wouldn't have gone.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Just but if it was even if you could have
like saved the money, got free tickets and stayed in
New York, well nevermind, you would have been able to
figure out how to do the show remotely. What am
I talking about? You can barely get hooked up from home.
Right the next beat the Lakers won twelve, and it
was a fun game.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
It was by the way, they'd be real quick on
a left turty. I'm going to give you a stat
that the Saga's not going to give you. Okay, the
best statue that you ever heard of. It's just that
that has nothing to do with sports. You're ready for this.
In the month of February. There are four Sundays, four Mondays,
four Tuesdays, four Wednesdays, four Thursdays, four Fridays, and four Saturdays.

(11:56):
That happens once every eight hundred.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
And twenty three years. What do you think what you're
talking that? Are you sure that's true? This wasn't a
fake account?

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Now I added it up myself.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Well, I don't mean that it's you couldn't look at
the calendar and figure it out. I just mean that
it hasn't happened once every eight hundred and twenty three years.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yes, it happens. Well, first of all, I dare you
to prove me wrong.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
I don't think I can. No, not at all, not
at all. Where how did you find this? What? I
don't know, you're not sure.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
I think I might have saved it. I'll tweeted it
over to you later on.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
So, well, god, I don't know what bearing it has,
but it's definitely fascinating.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
That was fascinating. I found that very fascinating.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
So we were in the first of only four Sundays
in the month of feb because we only.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Have twenty eight days in the month of February, so well,
we get a lot in February. Man, yes, we do.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
You got well, signing days and what it once was.
I think there's one guy in ESPN's top three hundred
that's going to sign on Wednesday. So signing days and
what it once was in college football. But in the
NFL you got the Super Bowl and to the start
of the offseason, right, you got the the NBA and
the All Star Games in February. You got to day
ton of five hundred. That's in February, and at some
point we're going to race the bush duels or the

(13:10):
clash or whatever they're calling it.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Now what am I leaving out? You got tennis.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
We're watching the Australian opener right now. Golf kind of
starts to kick off a bit. Spring training opens up
for a handful of teams. Man, you pack a conference tournaments, yeah,
start getting underway.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Pretty busy mind.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
And I don't know if you count this, but you
do have spring training baseball, right, you do have a little.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
I minted that I mentioned spring college baseball and of
course college softball, which, by the way, your spot of
the broadcast is looking a little better.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
But you do have to go to Kansas this week for.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Our schedule is pure Hell, I'm not even sure I
want Arizona to go undefeated, to be honest with you,
it's so much. I'm starting to feel the pressure. I
feel the pressure.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
So you know, I do a lot of I do
a lot of shows on college sports radio.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Yeah, of course, my show's a college show.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
And every single college basketball expert I talked to, I'll say,
my best friend that I do radio with, he is
a diehard Arizona fan, and I'm tired of hearing about
the Wildcat. So you can tell can you tell me
they're going to lose at some point? And I kid
you not, Arnie. Every single one of them says, I
don't know that I can tell you that. Yeah, it's
they're starting to think that they can run the table. Now,

(14:20):
them in Miami of Ohio, is that crazy?

Speaker 3 (14:23):
I want I want you to think about that. I
was the only person on the planet that said they'd
go undefeeded, and I think I might have said that
as a joke.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
And they had the toughest schedule in college basketball to
start the season.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
And they're the best.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
Well, I don't know if the Big Twelve is still
the best conference basketball, but it's one of the best, right.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
I mean, they beat Florida, they beat Yukon, they beat
u CoA, they beat Alabama, they I mean the b YU.
But that's a conference game. They're twenty three and on now.
And the funny part is, Chris, I don't want to
say this, flip it, but the are not a great team.
They're just a very good They played team basketball.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
That is what it's about.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
So I think they'll get tripped up in the next
six to seven games because they just play a murderous schedule.
I don't think I want them to go at the
feet of going into the NCAA tournament, a lot of
pressure out there to win the whole thing when it
was said done.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
Yeah, it would be, but we'll talk about it coming up.
I saw that as what Roman numeral number twelve?

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Is that right?

Speaker 3 (15:28):
I know, Arizona yea Roman number seven seven. I'm a
lot I have twenty two Roman today? How about that?

Speaker 4 (15:36):
But I don't want to get fired because we're sixteen
minutes into the show and we haven't mentioned that. I
guess this is the official official launch of Super Bowl Week. Yes,
can you sits the excitement of the Patriots and the
showdown against the Seahawks.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
No, I think there's been the least amount of interest
for this super Bowl. And I told you last Sunday, Chris.
The first thing out of my mouth was this is
a hall marrible super Bowl. And then of course I
got some tweets sake, I don't like my job, and
how do I keep my job because I don't like sports?
And how dare I say something like that? And then
of course Jason Smith put out of video saying that

(16:13):
this is the worst super Bowl ever. I guess what,
this is the worst super Bowl ever. It is the
least amount of interest, the interest level. I haven't seen
such a low interest level. I can't remember in a
long long time.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
I don't. I don't even know if there's any good storylines.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
To be honest with you, I'm curious to see what
the ticket prices are gonna be.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
This week, though, when nobody's.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Buying any buying any of the tickets, that's what I
want to see. How far it goes to I hear
that like Radio Row is like an hour away from
where the games actually would be. Yeah, it's gonna be
in San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
It's an hour away from the stadium, yes.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Row, Yes, So, which is why I told you why
we're having against Santa Clara.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
I mean, obviously it's because of the stadium, but it's
just ridiculous to have it there. It's just a waste
and I think it takes away It's a bad matchup,
lack of interest in one of the worst places in
no offense to the people up there in Santa Clara.
And I'm kind of happy about it because since we
don't get to go to the Super Bowl and everybody

(17:26):
else gets to go up there and have fun, I
like it to have the worst matchups and everybody'd be
miserable and how they're all bummed out. So that kind
of plays into my narrative there. But I think there's
a real lack of interest for the regular you know,
for the people that don't have a dog in the
fight here, Chris, for the non Patriot fans obviously, and

(17:46):
the non Seahawk fan. Maybe Dan Byer's excited, the only
person I would know he's a Sea Hawk fan. Other
than that, though, I don't think there's big interest in
this super Bowl like the past.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Well, Patty speaks Patrick Sweeka for him.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
No, you don't remember, was producer right exactly? All right, well, listen,
Uzzi he was. There's a busy show on Deck tonight.
If you've seen on Arnie's twitter feed, the Roman numeral
rundown is loaded. So when we come back, I'm gonna
try to sell Arnie on a few storylines.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
But listen, it's more than just the game.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
It's a week of NonStop NFL talk, and there's always
a storyline that dominates.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
There's always something that takes over. When we come back, we'll.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
Try to dive into a couple of those storylines beyond
the game that could dominate the NFL narrative over the
next week. It's all coming up on a busy Sunday
night into a Monday with Arnie and Plank on Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
Thunder and Rowing Man, Cason Wallace, Scott hot and looks
like we l out of the fourth quarter with OKC
up one oh one eighty five.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Come on, come on one NBA regular season game of night.
That's about all I can handle.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Well, you know, yeah, the Lakers in the Knicks earlier
we watched, we talked hockey in the opening section.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Yes we did.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
We can get fired for that.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Uh mister nobody writes, Arnie is right? There's where's the
great story behind the Super Bowl? Why should the average
fan care? I know I won't be watching because I
have zero teams playing and I want to ensure to
miss the halftime show too.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
The NFL like standing behind Bad Bunny has been one
of the week NFL sweet. It's some weird decisions during
this Super Week, Like I don't care about bad Bunny
in the super Bowl half of the show, right, But
they hired some guys as a director of kindness for
this week.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Did you see that story or no? No, I didn't.
I don't know what that is. I didn't.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
I don't either, But apparently they're just I guess. You know,
people have a lot of money and they just decide
they're gonna burn it. I guess that's where we are.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Rctor, what do you mean director of k like somebody
who's in charge of making sure everybody's nice.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
I guess.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
So, oh, that'd be a perfect job for me.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Chief kindness officer.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
I'm sorry, I apologize, and I don't know who this
person is, nor have I ever heard of him in
my life.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
His name was dar Man. I think I'm saying that right.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Oh that wait a minute, wait, that guy is a
video creator.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
That's right, that's right. Yeah. Yeah, So I don't know.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
Listen, I'm not going to sit here and try to
sell you on all these incredible stories. So I know
that based on some of the things the NFL has done,
maybe they look at it and say, man, people are
really not can care about this?

Speaker 3 (21:01):
And by the way I was gonna say. Another reason
why I don't think we're just it is both quarterbacks.
I mean, they're not big stars. You wouldn't put him
in the top ten. They're not flashy, they're not flamboyant.
They you know, they don't give you any sound bites.
So you get none of that from the quarterbacks. And
that's usually. You know, you could talk about Mahomes for

(21:23):
sixteen weeks straight, for cry it out loud?

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Could you could I at least sell you on Sam
Darnold's I say, recovery. That's not the term. I'm looking for, rebound,
resurgence in his career. I mean, that doesn't do anything for.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
You, Chris.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
What I was saying, we got to talk about the game,
and I said, you know that nobody really cares about
the pay. I had to look down on my paper
and say, who are they playing again?

Speaker 2 (21:46):
I did?

Speaker 3 (21:47):
I wrote it down somewhere what Robert dub was Robert
Durou number one? Thank goodness, I had written down forgot
the teams that were in it.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Chris, No, you can't sell me on that.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
There's I mean I tried, was there's really was there
a lot of interest when he was going thirteen or
fourteen and three where people are like, I can't get
enough of Sam Donald, like Gonna.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Was in the game super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
In fairness, I mean, he's taken the Seahawks in the
Super Bowl and had his best game in the NFC
Championship Game. I'm just I'm not trying to fight you
on this. I don't have a dog in this fighting
except but.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
That's the best you've got. You better into your bag
of tricks.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
You're telling me that if the best I've got for
you is a dude that is, I say, on his
second chance, but at the very least like.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
His fifth chance.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
Yes, really, And he's led a team to the super Bowl, right,
I mean that doesn't do anything for you.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
I'm happy for him. I like Sam Donald. I'm a
Sam Donald fan. I was a Donald fan coming out
of college, and I admitted I was wrong through all
these years. Maybe I turned out to be right later on,
but no, I mean, it's just, you know, it doesn't
He's a good guy. I'm happy for him. He doesn't
see ghosts anymore. Congratulations And you know, but if you're

(22:59):
not a Sea Hawk fan, and you're not a New
England fan, it's this is a complete boar fest. I
hopefully the game is going to be good. I don't
know if the game being close. I'm probably one of
the few I don't think it's going to be a
one score game. That's why I think people are going
to be disappointed.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Well, every year, whenever we get to the Super Bowl,
there's always a storyline that kind.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Of dominates right right right.

Speaker 4 (23:19):
You had when the Saints got robbed with that lack
of a pass interference calling us the Rams. We spent
a whole week talking about should pass interference be reviewable?
Whenever the future site and home of the Rams and
the Raiders and who knew that the Chargers were going
to be a mix was up in the air. We
spent several Super Bowl weeks talking about what will Los

(23:42):
Angeles get a team and relocation. We've had Super Bowl
weeks already where we talked about labor strife. We've had
Super Bowl weeks where we've talked about quarterbacks salaries and
more specifically rookie salaries and the rookie wage scale.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Is this the Super.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
Bowl where we start really through if a seventeen game
schedule is what's our excuse me? Eighteen game schedule is
what's best for the league? Is it where maybe we
start talking about your favorite topic, which is player safety,
and if it's even the right thing, Like what, because
there's always a topic beyond the game that dominates. Is
there something brewing that you think might dominate the headlines

(24:20):
during this week because it doesn't seem like there's anything
that's really pending right now.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
No, I think eighteen games is eventually going to happen.
I think everybody wants it. I'm not so sure the
players want it, but the players will vote for it
because the league will throw an extra what half million
dollar insteative to all the players. How about that, We'll
give you an extra half million on top of your
salary if you play that eighteenth game, and they'll say, fine,

(24:47):
that's great, but take away a preseason game, which you'll
do that so it will still be the same amount
of games, but it'll be like, what eighteen and two
instead of seventeen and three? Is we are right that way?
I don't even know, Chris. When I was younger, it
was fourteen and six. Imagine how did you go through

(25:07):
six weeks of preseason just to get to the regular season? Man,
that that's horrible. It was killing us, you know.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
Well, well, well we'll see if I've got a few
that I want to sprinkle out there to see if
they become major topics this week and if any bites.
But first, Steve de Seger is in the house because
we had a lot going on, a lot happening during
the show.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
Steve, what's going on? Man?

Speaker 7 (25:28):
Yes, and our beloved producer Lee did send me. I
think that well, you know, fact check the whole thing, right,
calendar for starters, it's not a leap year, right, so
February still has twenty eight days in the month.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
Yeah, I think I might have been wrong on that.
I don't know where I found that out.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
It's still first.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Time in eight hundred and twenty three years. You hadn't
you made this grandiose announcement. You did everything in the show.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
But I did. I did.

Speaker 7 (25:53):
I gotta find the days a week that hasn't changed,
so every weekdays appearing four times every non leap year.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Here, I got it right here, it says here this
February month is special for Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
This only happens once every eight hundred and twenty.

Speaker 7 (26:10):
Three years, or every four years.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
No, I mean not even last what Twitter feet did
you get this? It happened.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
It happened eleven years ago, in twenty fifteen.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
This happen because what you're looking at, Arnie, is that
it goes chronologically Sunday to Saturday, because it's always.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
Gonna happen first is on a Sunday or yeah, okay,
well that but that's happened regularly every okay.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
Every four to eight years, depending on No.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
No, that doesn't.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
It doesn't. See That's why I don't try to give
you the your mind.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
First has not happened on a Sunday in eight hundred years.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
No, in ten years, I guess seven years. Man, I
don't know why. There's someone else tweeted out. You know,
I'm gonna send this to your play.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Please send it to me.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
Did you happen to look at the comments at all
to see if people were questioning it?

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Right away?

Speaker 8 (27:00):
No?

Speaker 3 (27:00):
I just took it. Okay, so full for that crap.

Speaker 7 (27:09):
All the time, the Super Bowl teams arrived in the
Bay Area tonight. It's gonna be New England Seattle in
a week, and these two gentlemen you're listening to are
yet again gonna be our co host Super Bowl on
Fox Sports.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
I cannot wait for it. Mike Rabel, are you with us?

Speaker 7 (27:26):
Yes, I'm due to be here slightly before kickoff and
we'll be here after the end of the game.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
It's gonna be a long night, great night. Bring it on.
Cannot wait.

Speaker 7 (27:37):
New England's Mike Rabel, by the way, can become the
third person to appear in a Super Bowl victory as
a player and be a head coach for Super Bowl win.
But he would be the first to do so with
the same team because when Mike Dicka was Bear's coach,
he had been a Cowboys player. When Tony Dungee was
a Colts coach, he had been a Steelers player. So
this is not only a first year coach with New England,

(27:58):
it's a lot of first year players with that team,
rookie or vett. You add it up, it's over four
hundred regular season games by players in their first year
with New England, most by any.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Super Bowl team.

Speaker 7 (28:08):
Super Bowl Week this week has the team practice facilities
in northern California, with the Patriots using Stanford University. That's
thirteen miles west of the stadium. Seattle Seahawks will be
using San Jose State about nine miles because they.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Don't want to get hurt. That's fight. Nobody's using the
forty nine ers.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Actually that serious, that's why.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Right, this is another thing somebody needs to look up
and debunk.

Speaker 7 (28:32):
Wow, correct about Radio Row being in downtown San Francisco
at Moscone Center.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Of course. Fin Finally, right about Sunday.

Speaker 7 (28:40):
Oh my goodness, we got you covered all week with
the Monday Friday shows live from the Bay Area. But
the San Francisco forty nine Ers don't play in San
Francisco anymore. Their stadium is down in Santa Clara, so
it is almost forty five miles away from San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Just for the record, Oh my goodness.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
And our Jason Smith of FSR did hate this Super
Bowl matchup, but it's because he's a Jets fan. It's
the Patriots against Sam Darnold, no other reason. It's the
worst possible matchup for him. I'm glad you brought up
the ticket prices because I have noticed this with the Lakers.
The tickets that I used to get upstairs that were
thirty bucks, they're about ninety bucks now, and I'm talking

(29:20):
like Shaq Kobe Lakers, not ancient history. It's ninety dollars now.
The College championship game that had Indiana at Miami. For
those both of those factors, the prices went way up.
I was seeing three thousand dollars on resale for that.
The Super Bowl next weekend in the Bay Area on
the official resale site. Upper level seats are starting at

(29:42):
five thousand dollars next week. In the NBA, we've got
eight minutes to go in the feature late game tonight.
They're in a time out with Oklahoma City leading at
Denver still one eight to ninety five. Shay Gilgis Alexander
twenty seven points, Cas Wallace with twenty five points.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Did you add another game after this after midnight?

Speaker 2 (30:04):
I'll do it. We got another game coming up well
in Alaska.

Speaker 7 (30:08):
Money to burn, sure go. San Antonio won at home
against Orlando, won twelve one to oh three. Cleveland won
at Portland, won thirty to one eleven as Jared Allen
had forty points. Clippers won at Phoenix tonight, one seventeen
to ninety three. Kawhi Leonard twenty five points, James Harden
out for personal reasons. The Clippers Arena is going to
be hosting the NBA All Star Game in two weeks.

(30:30):
No Clipper has been selected for the game. Kawhi Leonard
could be selected later to replace the injured Giannis Antanakompo.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
We'll see.

Speaker 7 (30:38):
Lebron James was named an All Star for the twenty
second straight year, but then the Lakers lost at New
York tonight. Knicks have won sixth straight. They beat LA
won twelve to one hundred. Top ten matchup in college
basketball had Illinois winning at Nebraska seventy eight sixty nine.
The NHL outdoor game at Tampa Bay went to the
Lightning in a comeback down five to one in the second.
They beat Boston in a shootout, six to five. The

(31:00):
Arizona Cardinals new head coach is Mike Lafleur from the Rams.
The Raiders are expected to hire Seattle offensive coordinator Clint
Kubiak as head coach. After the Super Bowl, NASCAR's Clash
was moved to Wednesday night on Fox TV after the
weekend snowstorm in North Carolina. Justin Rose won by seven
strokes in San Diego, and you talked about the Pro

(31:21):
Bowl game, which Pro Bowl games whatever. The flag football
is coming up this week. They're now having it at
the Super Bowl site. I mean, not the actual stadium,
but since people are going to be there in the area,
it's going to be in the barrier.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
The last time we.

Speaker 7 (31:35):
Had a quote tackle football game for the Pro Bowl
a few years ago, that drew six point seven million viewers.
Last year it was four point seven million full of
flag football. And that's if you add up ABC plus
it was on ESPN plus Disney XD. That's still much
better than the NBA, which got less than two point
seven million viewers last weekend for the first Saturday night game,

(31:58):
and that was Luca and the Lakers.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Again, it's Dallas.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
I'd rather watch the puppy ball watch.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
I'm sure as well.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Back to you, thanks, Did you get the tweet I said.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
I'm cracking up looking at all these mentions, Arnie, will
you just do me a favor in the future, and
whenever you see a tweet from at store at Yo
underscore Obama with two a's, will you just kind of
look in the mentions to see if it's true.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Before you start.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
So, was it spouting it off right at the opening
segment of an actual radio show.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
I thought it was a good stat I loved it.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
That it's just not true. I mean it, don't let.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
That stop it. Come on now the rundown.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
We are Fox Sports, not Fox News.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
I guess that's fair enough. My goodness, man, it didn't
really take. The very first comment was like, bro, this
ain't true.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
He's like, yeah, we're getting a lot of comments.

Speaker 4 (33:00):
Yeah, yeah, well, I mean, see just I mean, I
got an email from Leeve that says Arnie's hoax snat Hey,
have you ever wiped with a piece of dry toilet
paper and wondered, is this as good as it gets?
It's not switched to life changing? What extra large plushable
dude wipes? Because water just cleans better? Available at Amazon

(33:21):
and major retailers nation. Why dude wipes best clean pants down?
When we come back. I got three storylines that I
think could dominate the non game headlines when we come
back with Arnie and Plank on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Don't listen no Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
Hey, don't forget to get that iHeartRadio app. You can
stream us wherever you happen to be. Catch us and
all of our Fox Sports Radio shows. Live twenty four
to seven and the new un approved iHeart Radio app.
Just search Fox Sports Radio and find us live all day,
every day, and be sure to select Fox Sports Radio
is one of your presets in the iHeart app, so

(33:59):
it will always pop up at the top of your screen,
so you have no desire to get there to be
out on radio row this week. You usually seem you
have like you have a major, major case of fomo
during a week like this.

Speaker 8 (34:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
I always yeah, because I always do fear fear that
I'm missing out and everybody's having a good time and
all that. Not not this time. I know everybody's hopefully
have a miserable time. There'll be a blowout, and you know,
people will be running around in traffic and hard to
get around and hard to get the guests because they're

(34:31):
in one place and you're in another. So that's pretty
much what's gonna happen.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
I think I was trying to figure out what Roman
numeral forur means really numeral.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
Forte neutral fans fans, who are the neutral fans pulling
for They pulling them for the Patriots or are they
pull them for the Seahawks. I mean, usually you know
when we get to a super Bowl people like anti
Chiefs or anti Philadelphia, and you get to see which
way the crowd is going. I don't know which way
the neutral fan is going for. I assume it's see
because people are kind of tired about the Patriot War.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
I'm guessing you know what I would say too, I
everything that made the super Bowl. I'm not saying that
there's anything bad about the super Bowl. Don't get me wrong.
I'm I love the super Bowl. I think it's one
of the greatest days of the year, regardless of who's playing.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
But now, and.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
It's great for you and I because like we're watching
the game and we're doing a show live during the game,
and we have fun depending on whose feed is where?

Speaker 2 (35:28):
Where? Where's Arnie's feed, where's the Sager's feed?

Speaker 4 (35:31):
Where's my feed at as we're watching the game at
three different locations and just literally.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Having our own super Bowl watch party.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
But we don't really truly get to watch the commercials
right right right now, the fun of that is out
of it because everyone makes their commercials available before the
super Bowl, Before the super Bowl. I watched the Budwatcher
commercial today. Yeah, there was a link. It said watch
our super Bowl commercial, I was like, well, I'm not
going to get to in his live, so why not.
You know, it's and it's almost as if that's kind

(35:59):
of lost a little bit of its juice. I don't know
if we're ever going to top the super Bowl show
in LA, so it's not even worth trying. So it's
like the halftime show, I should say, So, I don't know,
it's just there's you add in maybe kind of a
black matchup now. People in Seattle are yelling at us
right now, Those in the Boston, New England area are
yelling at us right now. But it's I feel like

(36:21):
I'm gonna sound like a broken record tonight because it's
not pulling in those neutral, casual fans.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
But during this next.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Week, well Fox Sports radios live out there, and you know,
you've got everyone and their brother hawking something on Radio
Row and the thousand interviews Arnie, there's always a storyline
that tends to kind of take center stage. And I've
got a list of three here that I thought could
become major talking points this week.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Okay, tell me if you buy or sell it. Okay
to me here, what do you got?

Speaker 4 (36:48):
What is or what isn't a catch because of the
controversy that took place in two playoff games, right that
in both instances seem to really swing games. Do we
have a deeper debate this week of what is or
isn't a catch?

Speaker 2 (37:04):
In are we gonna hear? Are we gonna hear?

Speaker 4 (37:07):
Mike Pereiras and Jens Stestator it's territory or whatever the
hell's name is doing interviews not top about what it catches.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
You don't think that's gonna be a top zero.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
That's not even a storyline.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
I'm shocked.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
That's what you tried to sell me as one of
the three. Uh to me's like a storyline is the
quarterback you grew up as a little kid with no.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
No, no, Okay, hold on, I think you're I think
you're missing my point. Hold on a talking point during
the week that has nothing to do with the actual
game itself, Like where we would talk about relocation, we
would talk about la being a city that they would
move to, and we talked about labor strife. So no,
I'm not talking about with the Seahawks Patriots. Okay, I'm
talking about outside of that.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
I don't think so. I think that's kind of talked
out and really on its way on that one.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
Number two Hall of Fame voting.

Speaker 4 (37:52):
I have a feeling that with Bill Belichick being left out,
at least in the early part of the week, I
feel like that's gonna be something that many of the
talking heads are going to be more than happy to
kind of hash out, Hey, does the process need to
be reevaluated? Is there guys that have a vote that
don't need to have a vote anymore?

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Do we need to.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
I don't know if the word would be youth up
that group anyway. Is it getting a little bit too
old and stale? This Hall of Fame voting become a
topic of conversation.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
Absolutely, there's no doubt about that. I mean, when I
first heard that Belichick was going to be in, and
you know me, I'm not a Belichick fan, but that's
because I'm a Dolphin fan. But I certainly know greatness
when I see it, whether it was him or Brady,
And who's the reason why? That really doesn't make a difference.
That's a debate, that's all up right. You think one way, Chris,

(38:44):
and I'll think another, and you know, whatever it is,
but he's got to get in. I don't understand. The
thing is, I don't want to make him a first
ballot a Hall of Famer.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
But that's so dumb.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
That is that's like you're asking your wife to marry
you and she goes, well, I don't want to say yes.
And the very first time he asked me, maybe by
the fourth time you ask me, I'll say yes. It's ridiculous.
And for the fact that people may have a grudge
against Felachich, I don't think you know.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
Word says there you.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
Can vote for somebody to get in unless you have
a grudge against them. Then you can use that grudge
and keep them out of the Hall of Fame. I
think somebody like that should have their vote taken away.
That's absolutely ridiculous, Chris. I can't believe that we even
tolerate such crap when you're voting for something like that.

Speaker 4 (39:28):
And then the third thing is the eighteen game schedule
and the viability of it, And I don't know, you know,
Roger Goodell seemed to start selling it last year a
little bit harder because what would that opening weekend be, right,
it would be Archie, what that super Bowl week can be?
It would be where there's a holiday in the next day,
right and everyone could you know, theoretically have that Monday

(39:50):
off if you work in a place and gives you
President's Day off. I don't know, But is an eighteen
game schedule kind of talked about a little bit earlier.
Is the future of the schedule and interroal a topic
this week?

Speaker 2 (40:01):
You think, I think a little bit.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
I think it's eventually we're gonna go to the eighteen
game schedule, you know, when it's all said and done.
I think player safety is important, but the eighteen game
schedule is all about the money, and they'll win out
so the players will get more money, the owners will
make more money, so everybody be We'll be on board
with that.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
All right.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
When we come back, let's start checking off some of
the Roman numeral rundown topics, including Roman numeral number one,
what's Arnie's pick? Do we save it until the final segment?
Plus things we're looking for in the game itself, and
all of your reaction on the Twitter machine. It's dicking
genius one. I'm at Plank Show. Everyone go follow us

(40:41):
at Fox Sports Radio. Stick around.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
IY We're Live with Arny in Plank Fox Sports Radio.
It's funny.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
Artie sent me a text during the top of the
hour and asked, Hey, can we start with Roman numeral twenty?

Speaker 3 (40:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (40:56):
Party doesn't really Does it really matter if I try
to start with something different? No, I was gonna interrupt
anyway and anyway, ye, so yeah, I just you don't
even have to ask.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
I want to get into the Seahawks and the Patriots matchup,
regardless about boring you think it is. We got tought
for him and coming up here in just a bit,
and we're doing the.

Speaker 3 (41:12):
Game next weekend as we always do, the only time
I get to go to beds at a decent time
on a Sunday night, my one day a week for
crying out loud.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
I love it. I love it.

Speaker 4 (41:22):
We'll be on starting at five o'clock Central Time to
lead you right up to the five thirty kick. Now,
I got it. Well, I say five thirty kick like
five thirty seven I think is.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
Well, thirty seven eastern? How would do you? We usually
go at four hours. The game usually ends about what
ten fifteen to ten thirty Eastern, and we do the
last half hour.

Speaker 4 (41:44):
Yeah, usually up the game, but we had the overtime.
Did we have an overtime game with.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
The Chiefs that was je barely finished in the fifth hour?

Speaker 2 (41:51):
There, that's right, but it got done a Chiefs Niners?
Excuse me? Last year was a fast Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (41:58):
It's Chiefs Sniners. Look what you gave Chiefs Niners and
we got Seahawks and Patriots.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
Yeah, but you would complain if it's the Chiefs that
we're here, because like, oh, it's the same team, I'm
tired of it.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
Then Niners because it's Brock Party. I don't care about
Brock Party, but I would get to hate them, and
you know we can.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
There's plenty good storylines and forty nine ers playing near
their home and all that, and my goodness, we'd be
complaining ad bittion about that. Also, it would be all
kinds of.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
Well the Niners.

Speaker 4 (42:28):
Now, that's a really good point though, that if the
Niners had made it, the idea that it would be
the second team to play home in the modern era
would be pretty wild, right, since we went the longest
time without it.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
But plus plus, what do you think tickets would be?
Like a ticket price would be through the roof for
the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
It'd be crazy.

Speaker 4 (42:46):
It would be crazy, but we're not going to have that,
so it's not worth I guess fighting them out too
terribly much. But I will say, I will say I'm
going to try like crazy. I'm making middle notes to
myself and I don't know if they're necessarily mental notes,
but like true reminders to get into.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
This, Lnie.

Speaker 4 (43:05):
It's once a year, it's a Super Bowl. I don't
care if you don't care. It's the final football game
we get of the year. We're gonna get in a
team building and bombastic hot takes. Now about who's gonna
be great when nobody knows the damn thing, because nobody
at this time three hundred and sixty five days ago
was saying, I think the Seahawks and the Patriots are
gonna play.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
In the Super Bowl. Don't brace it. It's the last
football you get.

Speaker 3 (43:29):
I'm waiting for the tweet that goes, how do you
have a job. You don't even like your job, you
don't like sports? What's wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (43:35):
Well, you know what?

Speaker 3 (43:37):
And we get a lot of those, but you know,
it's just not something, I mean, compared to all the
other teams and super Bowls that we've had. And I'm
wondering because and I asked you in Roman Inorld twenty,
how do you use are listeners? How do you use
Super Bowl? Are you usually have a party? I can
see people just saying, I'm bypassing the party this year.
We're gonna watch it by myself, order a pizza. I mean,

(44:00):
what pizza is the most part. This is like the
busiest day of the year from pizza places, right, it
gets crazy. So I'm wondering if people do that. You know,
usually in the past, people would have big parties and
you break open the doritos and the nachos and the drinks,
and you'd have about twenty thirty forty people there. I
don't think people do that anymore. To be on, I

(44:21):
think once COVID came around, that certainly stopped. I don't
ever ever got back to you know, do you have
big parties for Super Bowls anymore?

Speaker 2 (44:28):
I don't think it's like that anymore.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
Remember all the commercials you'd have for TVs by the
TV right but the week before the big game and
we'll give you a big discount and all that. I
don't even see those anymore. I just don't think they
cater that anymore to beyond.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
I also think that in fairness, you are a little
bit spoiled here, and we are because well, we worked
the super Bowl, so we don't have parties and we
don't go to parties. So right before we worked on Sundays,
like I would go to a Super Bowl party or
I would host one. And also like I my wife

(45:04):
and it's been one of the funniest kind of fights
we have because and it's not really a fight, but
like when she was growing up, her dad was a musician,
Like he couldn't care less about sports or like having
a job, but he he and that's not most musicians.

Speaker 2 (45:19):
He just doesn't care.

Speaker 4 (45:19):
About having a job, right, right, right, But they never
watched the super Bowl, they never did Super Bowl parties,
and never did any of that. Like I grew up
where my grandpa, it was a tradition that we would
all go to his house and he would videotape the
Super Bowl. And he had a collection of VHS tapes
of all that. I still have them all. I've kept
them all. It's got his hand riding on the label.
And you know, I don't have anybody to go back
and watch him. But it's it was like a tradition,

(45:42):
and I wanted to carry that tradition on and we
did so. My wife never had a super Bowl party,
but when we got married, we would have super Bowl parties. Now,
when I started working the super Bowl, that stopped. And
we like money more than we like friends.

Speaker 2 (45:53):
So I have no problem with it.

Speaker 4 (45:55):
Squares the squares, no, no, no, that was that was we
were always.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
I worked in radio. Okay, I was making no money.

Speaker 4 (46:03):
But I think that you're being a little bit not
necessarily spoiled here, but I think you're kind of shooting
down a tradition that's still there for a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
No, I could be wrong, I could be wrong.

Speaker 3 (46:14):
I really think after COVID, well, once COVID hit, the
big parties went away for a while. We know that
the big gatherings might God forbid yet more than five
people in one place. You can go to jail for that,
remember that, So we had that. I don't know if
it ever got back to where it was. I mean, yeah,
we've had weddings and stuff where you've had a lot
of people there, But I don't know if it got

(46:35):
back to the big super Bowl parties.

Speaker 4 (46:37):
And Arnie there's still massive events that go on after COVID.
I mean, there's still parties that happen. It's not like that.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
Maybe I just don't get invited to them.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
I guess I can't tell you.

Speaker 4 (46:48):
I do think that part of this for you and
I is we worked the Super Bowl, and I just
I don't think that we have an interest in those
parties anymore, nor would we get invited. I mean, I
think you like to be invited, so you say you
can't come. I think that's your favorite thing.

Speaker 8 (47:03):
Is that?

Speaker 4 (47:04):
What is I think you want to be invited? She
be like, man, I'm sorry, I can't make it. That's
what I think, Chris.

Speaker 3 (47:09):
I bet you are listeners right now. I'm the majority
of them. Seventy five percent are going to be watching
this super Bowl by themselves or maybe with one buddy,
ordering that one pepperoni pizza, getting a twelve pack of
beers to that doesn't make you a loser.

Speaker 2 (47:30):
You sit there with your beer and your one bag
of chips. I mean I want that.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
I would be doing that. I'd be watched by myself.
I'd be be doing that because I don't like to
go to Super Bowl parties. My wife would be buying
certain things like my mom used to buy my dad,
you know, make a big deal about the Super Bowl,
even though she didn't care about it. She'd buy like
certain you know, sliders. He said, I go, how much
can one guy eat? Mob? I mean, my goodness, what

(47:57):
are you doing? And she'd make more of a big
deal about it than we would. For crying out loud,
I just don't think it's gotten back to that point.

Speaker 2 (48:04):
And then with the.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
Super Bowl the ratings always go up though, right, they
won't go down or anything like that just beserves two
teams with not much interest. I guess it depends if
the game is close or you know, they get that
fourth quarter viewerships.

Speaker 2 (48:18):
We did this a while back.

Speaker 4 (48:19):
The NFL TV ratings don't necessarily go up every single year.
In twenty twenty four, there was a dip from twenty
twenty three, and you know, twenty twenty one was down,
but twenty twenty two was up. So I mean, listen,
I I can't sit here and fight with you about
the TV ratings or anything that nature, but I would

(48:41):
be curious to hear tonight exactly if that is a
thing in the past. Right has social media to a
certain extent kind of killed the idea of a massive
Super Bowl party, or has it, added Toude, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (48:52):
Oh so I think that and we've always had this,
But I think with the not re emergence but the
popularity of gambling, I think a lot of people and
a lot of people do gamble on the super Bowl,
but a lot of people do gamble on the prop bets.
I think people just want to gamble on their ten
or fifteen or twenty prop bets, write them down on
a piece of paper, sit back and mark check or

(49:16):
X every time one of their props goes, wins or loses,
and follow along that way. Also, you don't really do
that when you're at a big party. You know, you
can't really pay attention.

Speaker 4 (49:26):
But there is this part of me too that would
think for all of this, the popularity, it sounds like
you're trying to sell, like in general, the popularity of
the super Bowl is down.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
I would count and say, I would think that the
things of that nature.

Speaker 4 (49:42):
Hasn't that been in the ease, you know, used to
get all these props, you'd have to be in Vegas.
Now you you living in a state where it's legal
you can do it on your phone.

Speaker 2 (49:52):
I mean most people can, so.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
I don't know how that hasn't helped to add to
the old oomph, the buzz behind it and what people
be together more to kind of shay, hey, what do
you betting here?

Speaker 2 (50:02):
What are you taking here?

Speaker 3 (50:03):
I don't actually my way the ratings go up, think
about it? Just what that if everybody is just going
to watch it by themselves or with one other person,
we'll think more TVs are tuned into the super Bowl
than if fifty people got together. That's forty nine other
TVs that would have been on the Super Bowl that
are not turned on because they're not at home. They're

(50:24):
at your party, Chris, you know, Or if you go
to a sports bar. I don't do people still go
to sports bars for the Super Bowl? Are those usually
crowded or you know it is? It's still like no,
not really, We'll just go ahead and watch it at home.
That's that's what it's about. I don't even know if
sports bar is a big thing in the East Coast
to game. The start those six thirty, So you're gonna
go to a sports bar six thirty on a Sunday night.

Speaker 4 (50:46):
I don't know I will add though, I think more
than anything else, your question here on Roman numeral twenty, yes,
is just to try to get a feel as to
how people do truly partake in, right and digest this
super Bowl all right here, UCLA Dodger Frank right, Uh,
Yes there are still Super Bowl parties. And yes a
ball drops in Times Square on December thirty first, And

(51:09):
yes people still go to their local parks or stadiums
for Fourth of July celebration.

Speaker 3 (51:13):
Look at at Frank taking a little shot of me.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
I say, I mean you.

Speaker 4 (51:17):
Did act like that. Since COVID happened, no one ever
gets together for large gatherings. I mean I was five
years ago. Six Now has it been that long? I've
been hiding in my house.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
Now you can leave your house. Now you can go.

Speaker 4 (51:30):
Nobody told me, Oh my gosh. But yeah, I'll be
curious to see how that kind of vibes Tonight on
the on the X, that stinking genius one I'm at
playing showing everybody go follow us at Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
Let me hit a few of these tweets real quick
on the game.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
Just say one other thing, was you're talking about some
talking points this week on one other talking point. I
think that has to really be addressed. And I'm not
talking about the eighteen games or anything to that effect,
but we really got to move the Super Bowl from
Sunday to Saturday. I think that's really starting to get
a lot of steam, or maybe just more people are
talking about it. I think people are fed up of

(52:09):
staying up on a Sunday night and going to work
on a Monday, and oh, let's make a let's make
it a holiday or something. Unless Monday is a holiday.
You got to move the Super Bowl to a Saturday
so more people can enjoy it. I think the ratings
would be up for the Super Bowl, but was on
a Saturday. Chris, I not the ratings expert, but I
think that would be probably be better.

Speaker 2 (52:27):
Though.

Speaker 4 (52:28):
Well, I guess the only counter I have to that
is it ain't broke. Why are you trying to fix
something that's not broke?

Speaker 3 (52:36):
Right, Well, the Pro Bowl wasn't broke. You talked about
the ratings, but we're moving that the Tuesday and we're
not even playing football.

Speaker 4 (52:42):
Well, the Pro Bowl was broke, dude, I mean, come on,
you watched it. It was ridiculous. It was in everyone
and their brother complained about it. To say that, to
say that wasn't broke is you're just you're just being confrontational,
You're being smarmy.

Speaker 2 (52:58):
Here is a term that I would you.

Speaker 3 (53:00):
Okay, and you're right, it's not broke for the super Bowl.
But you know, some people say let's start it earlier.
I'm not crazy about the six thirty Eastern time start.
I know it doesn't matter to you. Some people think
it should be at urban earlier. I think out of
the two things, earlier kickoff or move it to a Saturday,
I think moving into a Saturday has more steam among

(53:21):
our listeners and the football fans out there.

Speaker 4 (53:23):
Though I guess it's one day a year, well you
just kind of wear it. And I mean, this might
sound crazy, but the Super Bowl does get done by
about nine to thirty Central time ten thirty Eastern, right,
so unless you're just getting absolutely destroyed, you know, hydrate,
mix it a water or something, pete, and we think

(53:44):
they're gonna be okay.

Speaker 3 (53:45):
And we do make fun of college because they don't
play the playoffs out of side one day.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
It's so dumb, it's so dumb. It's like college football
enrages me.

Speaker 4 (53:56):
College basketball the same way we are trained during the
college football season to enjoy Saturdays, and college basketball for
the most part, aren't he a Saturday? And then now
you we had some pretty good games today, had a
couple of good games on Friday night. But for the
most part, college basketball is this Saturday event too, outside
of some midweek games and then all of a sudden
you get to the championship games, like, all right, everybody,

(54:16):
it's Monday. You know, Just it's never really made any
sense to me. I get why you would want to
shift it to a Saturday. I feel like this. I
feel like that's more of a fan thing than it
ever is anything in.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
Like a place of power.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
I don't see the TV networks who control this for
the most part, going, hey man, move this thing to
a Saturday.

Speaker 3 (54:36):
There to be a lot more parties, Like I don't
know if ratings would go up, if more people are
going to be in sports bars and going out and
having big parties because they don't have to worry about
work on Sunday. And it's all about ratings and selling
commercial times. There's no doubt about that, So that right
be a problem.

Speaker 2 (54:52):
Can I hit a couple of tweets.

Speaker 4 (54:54):
Absolutely, I try to see this is what happens. I
try to, Guys, I try to all the time. Our
man at Shady Sean for twenty rights. Don't be judging
people who bring food to the game or eat before
the game. When I was a kid, my dad would
take me to Canucks games. We would sit way up
the top cheap seats, and I'd bring grill, to cheese
and to maade, a soup and a thermos to the

(55:15):
game because I saw it on TV.

Speaker 3 (55:17):
You know what the big controversy was. What was it
about two three, four weeks ago, Chris about jeez, I
can't remember what sporting Evita was. Somebody brought a bag
of spaghetti uh to the game and was eating uh
spaghetti out of it.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
Did you get that through security anymore? It's what I
want to know.

Speaker 3 (55:35):
He was eating spaghetti out of like a ziplag fag
and not a fork with him. So it looks pretty good.

Speaker 4 (55:42):
Six hundred dollars right to George, I looked like a
big spinder. Taking my wife to the NBA Finals in
nineteen ninety one, the Phantom Game seven. We went to
games three, four, and five, and the ticket price was
twenty seven dollars and fifty cents. Yeah, against thirty five
years ago you give tank it for five bucks.

Speaker 3 (56:01):
I don't blame you for twelve hundred dollars. I think
you could do a lot better things and payoff bills.
I told you the story when I was getting married
to Beth. Beth had won the lottery for All Star
tickets for the NBA All Star Game, and it was
in Phoenix, and that's why she won, and we got
the All Star Game and the what was the slam

(56:24):
Dunk contest? I think it was the night before and
we were told we can get close to two thousand
dollars for the two tickets, and Beth looked at me
and she goes, do you want the two thousand to
get us started getting married?

Speaker 2 (56:39):
Or do you want to go?

Speaker 3 (56:40):
I go, are you kidding me? Get the two thous
we'll go to his far. That was a lot of
money back then.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
Grid.

Speaker 3 (56:46):
That was we're talking like almost thirty years ago. Two
thousand dollars. Think about that. That was a lot of Denaro,
my friend.

Speaker 4 (56:54):
Big time money back then. Jason mc diamond rights, if
you told me name one Nicki Minaj for five hundred
thousand dollars to go to prison for ten years. I
would start crying because I would have to go to prison.
Same thing for Bad Bunny Happy super Bowl Week.

Speaker 3 (57:09):
Cap Cap, I would say, Cap, That'd be my answer, Cap.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
I don't think Jason's lying on that. Is that not
a song by Mickey? No, it's not caps.

Speaker 3 (57:22):
I thought, that's what were.

Speaker 2 (57:24):
You yelling in my ear? Marry cap Cap? I messed
up and said.

Speaker 4 (57:31):
Eric, I took Sunday night my Monday off this year
for the first time since the Ravens forty nine ers.
Kind of anti climactic now that Quezi got fired, But
I'm looking forward to seeing my quarterback.

Speaker 2 (57:44):
From last season play yesh tag former Viking.

Speaker 3 (57:46):
You see, that's how you could tell a few if
it's a good matchup, if you could do it all
over again, would you take the day off from work
and watch the game, or would you take triple time
because it's a Sunday. I think a out of people say,
you know what, I would have passed on the game.
I would taking triple the triple time this time.

Speaker 4 (58:01):
I mean, but again, that's fair because he's a Viking fan,
so he wouldn't. He wouldn't want the misery of watching
Sam Darnold take a team to the Super Bowl. Meanwhile,
the general manager that that now apparently said punt on
Sam Darnald, let's build around.

Speaker 2 (58:16):
JJ McCarthy got fired.

Speaker 4 (58:18):
And then some somehow we find out that maybe there
was some bitterness about him taking paternity lead.

Speaker 2 (58:23):
Yeah, you can't do that.

Speaker 3 (58:24):
I mean, look, when I was having a kid, I
took like one day off, two days off, and I
had to get back to work. Nowadays, what do you
get if you're a guy you get with like three
years off, is that when it comes out through something
like that, if you want to take as.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
Much time as you guys want, man, no big deal.

Speaker 3 (58:40):
Well, we'll have a job open for you, and we'll
just keep paying you for the three years that you're
not at work anymore.

Speaker 4 (58:45):
When we come back. Todd Furman joined us to talk
a few of those early Super Bowl props. Next with

Speaker 2 (59:34):
Let's tat Vegas.

Speaker 4 (59:35):
It's already in Plank on Fox Sports Radio, Man Todd
Firman staying up laid with this tell preview the Super Bowl.
But first, Todd Todd, we got a new coach in Vegas,
or at least I think the wording of this announcement
has been very odd. The intention to become the next
head coach of the Raiders. Regardless what do we make,

(59:56):
it seems odd that a Koobiak will be coaching the Raiders.
Do you like to hire or not?

Speaker 9 (01:00:03):
I do like to hire. I think you had to
get younger in the coaching box. You had to bring
in somebody with a forward thinking offensive mentality, and you
look at what Kubiak's been able to do to resurrect
Sam Darnold's career this season with the Seattle Seahawks. I
think he'll be a good fit, assuming that the Raiders
do hold onto that number one pick in the draft,
bring Fernando mendoz In and can begin building a step

(01:00:24):
by step towards a return to respectability. And like you mentioned, Plank,
maybe it does take a Kubiak to make the Raiders relevant,
something that I'm sure a lot of the Silver and
Black Clad Faithful never would have brought into if this
was fifteen or twenty years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
All right, Todd, how's the gambling aspect looking. We got
one week obviously before the game, and any movements on
the props or the lines or anything like that or
everything copasthetic right now.

Speaker 8 (01:00:50):
Not so much with the side or total.

Speaker 9 (01:00:52):
We've seen the number kind of hold steady in that
four and a half five range, with Seattle of course
a favorite in this particular spot. The total down to
touch forty six and a half is where that number opened.
We're now kind of looking at forty five with some
rogue forty five and a half out there, but player crops,
no doubt, have been on the move. And there are
a couple of players that professional betters have looked to

(01:01:12):
bet against more often than not and the two that
really stick out. We can start with the Patriots side.

Speaker 8 (01:01:18):
MATC.

Speaker 9 (01:01:18):
Collins has seen his receiving total that opened pretty widely
available at twenty nine and a half dip down to
twenty five and a half. The over under on his
receptions from two and a half right around a pick
on price tag now heavily juiced. Under the thought process
there is that Hollins is a little bit more of
a gadget guy and is extremely valuable as a blocker.

Speaker 8 (01:01:36):
We saw him go over his yardage.

Speaker 9 (01:01:38):
Total even inclement weather against the Broncos, but didn't get
to that three catch threshold if you were looking to
bet the over. And this one may surprise some people,
but Kenneth Walker has been high on the list in
terms of a fade for professional betters. We've seen money
come in on Kenneth Walker's rushing total that opened to
high at eighty two and a half, which is now
sitting in that low seventies range. Betters have to attack

(01:02:00):
it in a different way as well, betting under his
total yardage prop that was kind of in that one
oh two and a half one oh three and a
half range. Now down into the mid nineties, his receiving
yard number has been a little bit more polarizing. We
did see some over money come in when that open
nineteen and a half got his highest twenty three and
a half, and there was a little bit of buyback.
But George Hallani is a player in the Seattle Seahawks

(01:02:21):
backfield that pro betters are betting over, specifically in regards
to his reception total and receiving yards. Knowing that he
was featured a little bit more prominently in terms of
routes run in the NFC Championship game against the Rams,
and you saw him being utilized as the running back
in the two minute drill. Given that he is probably
a slightly better pass protector than what you'll get from
Walker Ert.

Speaker 3 (01:02:42):
Are you a under one and a half yard shortest
touchdown because that's happened in like six or eight of
the last two ten Super Bowls And also the last
team to score. Last time a team lost and was
the last team to score was back in twenty twelve,
So there's some president for that stuff. You know.

Speaker 9 (01:03:00):
That one is one that I think recreational betters look
at and they go, how tough is it to have
all the touchdowns in the game cover more than one
and a half yards? But to your point, Arnie, typically
you want to look to try and bet that one
under one and a half, but you do have to
be pretty price dependent on that. Professional betters will lay
that price of minus a dollar forty, but if you
get into that minus a dollar sixty minus a dollar

(01:03:21):
seventy range, they shy away because you're looking to play
probabilities even more so than some of the game state
necessarily associated with it. And when you mentioned some of
the other markets that are out there, I think the
first touchdown scorer continues to grow in popularity. And if
you're trying to identify the position where we've seen that
come from forty five of the previous fifty nine Super Bowls,

(01:03:41):
it's either been a running back or wide receiver that
has gotten into the end zone. First, you mentioned will
the team that scores last win the game? The Chiefs
scored last in the Super Bowl last year and lost.
They were the first hunt team to lose the Super
Bowl when scoring last since the Ravens gave up that
intentional safety back in twenty twelve, And when you're looking
at will there be a score in the final few

(01:04:02):
minutes of the fourth quarter, if you look at three
and a half minutes, is kind of that cutoff. The
yes has hit in eleven straight Super Bowls and seventeen
of the past eighteen. The low no came back in
two thousand and seven between the Seahawks and Broncos.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
Interesting, are you seeing anything with Drake May's injury affected
as far as how it's being anything that's kind of
caught your eye on that front.

Speaker 9 (01:04:25):
Nothing in the player prop markets just yet in terms
of his yardage numbers or his passing attempts, things along
those lines. I do think part of what we've seen
contributing to this game being bet under the total has
to do a little bit with Drake May as well
as the defensive prowess of these two teams. But this
is where professional betters can get a little bit creative

(01:04:46):
and find unique ways to attack a lot of the
marquee players. The one prop where they are betting against
Drake May is on that yes price tag. That he
will throw an interception in the game. That's been bet
up from right around to pick on price upwards of
minus a dollar thirty And of course that's a bet
that can win a multitude of ways. Even if Drake
May comes in at one hundred percent, he's throwing into

(01:05:06):
the teeth of a very stingy man covered Seahawks secondary.
But if he is a little bit limited in terms
of his shoulder and they try and stretch the field,
going to open himself up to a potential turnover. So
Drake May yes to throw an interception has been a
bet that's taken a little bit of attention from professional betters.

Speaker 3 (01:05:21):
You know, Todd on those commemorative coins that they flip
for the heads and tails and who's going to get
the ball first? You know, the headside is a little
bit heavier than the tail side, You know that.

Speaker 9 (01:05:33):
Don't They do say that there is a little bit
more waiting in the headside depending on the embroidery and
how they ultimately mint some of those coins that are
out there. So you would be correct in that assessment, Army,
But unfortunately we don't have enough of a sample size
to say that you should be looking about one side
or the other in the coin toss, and unlike previous
Super Bowls, you also don't see a lot of tendencies

(01:05:54):
from either of these two teams that if they win
the coin toss, either electing to defer or take the
opening kickoff. Both of these teams, most likely, given their
pre election to playing defense, are probably going to defer.
And you look at some of the other markets, Arnie,
that I know you'll be focused on as well.

Speaker 3 (01:06:10):
Anthem the anthem.

Speaker 9 (01:06:11):
The anthem has actually been bet down about three seconds.
That's a market that I typically don't tangle with because
if it's not black and white and it can't be
determined in the box score, the last thing I want
to do is be arguing with a bookmaker or customer
service in any capacity about if my bet one or
loss because I was a little faster on the stopwatch
without an official timer.

Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
In cold areas, it goes by faster because the signer
wants to get done and get out of the cold,
so it goes by quicker.

Speaker 9 (01:06:38):
That's important to know, Chris, because how many Super Bowls
have we seen played in cold weather or any what
Met Life Stadium one out of.

Speaker 3 (01:06:44):
Fift New York in New York get great.

Speaker 8 (01:06:47):
Great, significant sample size.

Speaker 9 (01:06:49):
And that's why you continue to show up work, show
up to work every Sunday night, because you're not able
to retire with this.

Speaker 3 (01:06:54):
Betty, I didn't give you my stat on the February
bet turned out to be wrong anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:06:59):
So yeah, he missed completely on that take earlier today.

Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
Hey, how do By the way, Todd, how do you
super Bowl?

Speaker 4 (01:07:07):
Are you seeing less people get out to Vegas as
the Super Bowl party kind of market? In your opinion
of mine? Has it dwindled just a bit?

Speaker 9 (01:07:16):
It's still one of those bucket list events for a
lot of people that want to try and get out
to the desert. Of course, they do have the luxury
now of being able to bat with a lot of
national books in most jurisdictions across the country, the growth
of prediction markets as well, although they don't necessarily have
the same volume of vets. But it's truly a unique
experience for folks that want to be out here in Vegas.
They want to part take in what will be warmer

(01:07:37):
weather than what we even normally expected this coming weekend,
and to go through those fifty plus page packets with
the various ways that they can get involved in one
capacity or another and look to identify a unique experience. I,
on the other hand, have kind of the old man
get off my lawn that'll watch the game and its
entirety from home. I will be able to control the
price of adult beverages. I'll be able to control therms

(01:07:59):
stead and most importantly, the volume on the TV. Well,
my responsibilities with CBS are done in pregame and at halftime.

Speaker 2 (01:08:07):
The great stuff. Todd enjoyed the six We'll talk to
you soon, but.

Speaker 8 (01:08:10):
Always a pleasure, gentlemen. You guys enjoy the game as well.

Speaker 4 (01:08:12):
There is Todd Firm every single Sunday night with us.
Here is Steve de Seger with what's trending in the
world of sports where not quite everything?

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
As a final Steve, really, what's still gone?

Speaker 4 (01:08:21):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
Am I watching an old Australian Open.

Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Everything. I'm sorry. I apologize my bad.

Speaker 7 (01:08:32):
Early this morning our time number one Carlos Alcarez won
the Australia. She is now the youngest to win the
career Grand Slam.

Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
They noted it live to me. I'm sorry to ruin
it for you, but you're gonna.

Speaker 3 (01:08:44):
Give live scores coming up for the Olympics because it's
what seven hours ahead of us or something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
Could be in Italy.

Speaker 7 (01:08:50):
In fact, Mike Triko is supposed to do after Super
Bowl postgame next Sunday, go to the field and host
the Olympics from there and.

Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
Then get out a plane and go to Italy.

Speaker 7 (01:09:00):
But in the booth today for the tennis was John McEnroe,
and they noted John McEnroe won seven majors in his
great career. This is already seven majors for Carlos Alcarez.
He hasn't turned twenty three yet.

Speaker 2 (01:09:13):
He's pretty like.

Speaker 3 (01:09:14):
He's been around for like ten years for some reason.

Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
I don't know why.

Speaker 7 (01:09:16):
Well, when you've won all four majors already, something that
McEnroe never did and Pete Sampers never did, that's incredibly impressive.
And he won in four sets in the final against
Novak Djokovic, who was trying to become statistically the greatest ever.

Speaker 3 (01:09:31):
Wouldn't have done it against Jimmy Connors. I promise you
that who also had would stop him.

Speaker 7 (01:09:37):
I believe Connors and Borg I believe also they did
not win all four of the Majors, but Djokovic had
twenty four well still has twenty four career Grand Slams
that is still tied for the most ever. And this
Alcarez in the Semis from a guy who had played
five sets about five and a half hours just to
qualify for the final Saturday morning, early Saturday our time.

(01:09:59):
The women's fin went to Elena Ribacina three close sets
against number one Arena Sabalanca, who blew a three tozer
lead in the third Reerebakan is going to move up
to number three when the new rankings come out tomorrow.
She's won ten straight matches against top ten opponents. Saboleanca,
who's been so good for a few years now until
the final, had won all twenty two sets she'd played
this month and did not win the final. More on

(01:10:22):
the NASCAR story in about ten minutes, but the clash
was moved to Wednesday night. It'll still be on Fox
TV after the weekend snowstorm in North Carolina. The Reds
are signing dja Uohenio Suarez to a one year deal.
He had forty nine homers last season with Arizona and Seattle.
The White Sox acquired pitcher Jordan Hicks from Boston. Justin
Rose won by seven strokes in San Diego at a

(01:10:44):
tournament record twenty three under par. Brooks Keepka back on tour,
barely made the cut on Friday. He tied for fifty
sixth place in the end in the LPGA. After bad
weather in Orlando this weekend, American Nelly Corda won the
tournament when the final round was canceled.

Speaker 2 (01:10:59):
Today the NFL.

Speaker 7 (01:11:00):
News the Cardinals new head coach Mike Lafleur Raiders expected
to hire his head coach, Seattle offensive coordinator, Clint Kubiak.
The forty nine ers new defensive coordinator is Raheem Morris,
and from the Packers, Sean Duggan due to be defensive
coordinator of the Miami Dolphins. In the NBA, it's official
that Mitch Johnson, the head coach of San Antonio, will

(01:11:21):
be one of the All Star head coaches, so he
and his staff are going The LA Clippers Arena will
host the NBA All Star Game in a couple of weeks.
As we mentioned earlier, no Clipper has yet been selected,
although Kawhi Leonard could be selected as an injury replacement
in the near future. Only the commissioner will have final
say on that. If you're asking why isn't Oklahoma City's

(01:11:42):
coach coaching one of the All Star teams, he is
not eligible because he coached in the All Star Game
a year ago.

Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
We do know Detroit's JB.

Speaker 7 (01:11:49):
Bickerstaff will be coaching at the All Star Game, since
the Pistons had clinched the best record in the East
through February the first. By the way, the NBA trade
deadline is this Thursday, Monday. It's New Orleans at Charlotte
game will now tip at three pm Eastern Time to
the bad weather that has weather has really screwed around.

Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
Ten dollars for tickets, by the way, for that game
ten you say ten dollars, but the Pacer game is
thirteen dollars and the Timberwolves Grizzlies is four dours.

Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:12:19):
Tickets as low as four hours.

Speaker 7 (01:12:21):
And if you can't make it to the NASCAR on Wednesday,
they are giving one hundred percent full refunds or I
believe I read one hundred and twenty percent. If you
choose a credit at just go to something else on
this ooh like that, it's not too bad. Oklahoma City
did win the late NBA game tonight at Denver one
twenty one to one eleven Shay Gilges Alexander thirty four
points thirteen assists. New York won at six straight, beating

(01:12:44):
the Lakers one twelve to one hundred. Luka Donsich thirty
points fifteen rebounds in the lost college hoops Illinois winner
at Nebraska. NHL outdoor game at Tampa Bay went to
the Lightning in a comeback in a shootout, beating Boston six'

Speaker 2 (01:27:21):
Website it sounds like your kind of.

Speaker 4 (01:27:23):
Website, yeah so when it says just when it SAYS
nfl trade rumors in bold, print and it Says Justin
jefferson has been in some early rumors The raiders would
be a team to watch with their new coaching Higher Clint.
Kubiak my initial challenge, is if it doesn't come From Adam,
Schefter Jay, Glazer Mike Garret, folo and who AM i leaving?

Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
Out Ian, rappaport it's probably kind of.

Speaker 4 (01:27:50):
BS i don't, know there's many sites like, This arnietta
stop falling for.

Speaker 3 (01:27:54):
It, WELL i don't necessarily believe That Justin jefferson, thing
BUT i do believe The kittles. Thing that made a
lot of sense to me BECAUSE i told you earlier
in the, year or maybe it was the year, before
that they're gonna have to eventually can't pay, everybody and
somebody's gonna have to go more than. SOMEBODY'S a couple
of people are gonna have to.

Speaker 2 (01:28:11):
Go, true very, True but in that same vein.

Speaker 3 (01:28:15):
And kittle's probably, One he's probably the.

Speaker 4 (01:28:17):
ONE i want you to stop falling for fake. ACCOUNTS
i want that to Be.

Speaker 3 (01:28:22):
You're so, good it's so juicy and we're up and
we're on In San, francisco.

Speaker 4 (01:28:27):
Right and you pretty much try to get that ruined
by laying out how much you hate the Super bowl
being In San.

Speaker 3 (01:28:34):
France it's In Santa, clara a big difference between the.
Two and people have been tweeting us how how bad

you were gonna go to the Super, bowl you certainly
wouldn't want to go To Santa. Clara you rather.

Speaker 2 (01:28:57):
Stop.

Speaker 4 (01:28:57):
It you would rather go To miami or you, are

said it's going to be a.

Speaker 4 (01:29:50):
Boring Super, bowl you te me complain about a lot
of sporting. Event SO i can understand why people might
take that as you not liking your.

Speaker 2 (01:29:57):
Job i'm just telling the truth what you're.

Speaker 3 (01:30:00):
Truth that's like, saying, uh you, know those four girls
in front of me are not very, pretty but the
one over there. Is oh you ain't for you think
four of the five are? Ugly you must not like.

Speaker 2 (01:30:09):
Women, no that's the four of the five are. Ugly that's.

Speaker 4 (01:30:12):
All that's actually a fair analogy for what's on your.
Part Gutna rights Tell arnie that all the Teams darnold
played for are hoping to see him. Fail, Well i'm
A panther, fan AND i hope he, succeeds just to
laugh at.

Speaker 3 (01:30:26):
Vice If i'm A jet, Fan i'd want him to.
SUCCEED i wouldn't want him to.

Speaker 4 (01:30:28):
FAIL i Don't why would you want him to succeed
if you're A jets? Fan because everybody who played for
you stinks. Anyway so what difference does it? Make you
can't root against everybody in THE?

Speaker 2 (01:30:36):
Nfl you?

Speaker 4 (01:30:38):
Do If ta, ghost If tua win to Say, cleveland
and they made a run in the, playoffs would you
be rooting for?

Speaker 3 (01:30:47):
Him? Oh hell, no that's a different that's. Different how
So i'm a real. Fan that would eat me up
alive if that. Happened JIMMY.

Speaker 2 (01:30:55):
V with The JIMMY.

Speaker 4 (01:30:56):
V Three The Pro bowl is the biggest abomination in
all of.

Speaker 2 (01:30:59):
Sport number, One number.

Speaker 4 (01:31:01):
Two one week from, now we'll be talking about a
one Score Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:31:06):
Classic number.

Speaker 4 (01:31:08):
Three of all THE NFL tv, NETWORKS nbc offers the
best viewing. Experience why is that WHY nbc best? BROADCASTERS
i guess maybe good camera. Work they've got some new.
TECHNOLOGY i guess they're gonna be laying out for. Us
maybe that was in, Golf but, YEAH i don't the

(01:31:29):
weed smoker, RIGHTS i don't care about The Pro. Bowl
where's The royal rumble? Coverage did you watch The Royle rumble?

Speaker 2 (01:31:36):
Yesterday? NO i must have missed.

Speaker 3 (01:31:38):
THAT i thought it was On tuesday with The Pro.

Speaker 4 (01:31:40):
Bowl That's wednesday with THE, nascar is WHAT i. Missed
Roman reigns maybe back with a, vengeance and you.

Speaker 3 (01:31:48):
Know we have A monday AFTERNOON nba game? Too is
the saga? SAID i mean we got everything during.

Speaker 4 (01:31:53):
Now whether we'll do, that, man whether we'll do? That
here's one FROM im Writer rob. J i guess it
would Be i'm a, Writer Rob, jay but he, WRITES I,
arnie The dolphins have officially Become Green Bay. South do
you THINK Gm sullivan and head Coach hapley can get
it done in two?

Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
Years?

Speaker 3 (01:32:10):
Yeah it kind of seems that.

Speaker 2 (01:32:11):
Way it better be.

Speaker 3 (01:32:12):
QUICK i can't go through another how many more years
of no playoff? Wins and starting to make me? Edgy
to be honest with, you it's getting real tough on.
Me The dolphins have got to turn it, around and
sooner than, later, though they're probably gonna have to keep.
TWO i think this, year aren't They that's what's gonna.

Speaker 4 (01:32:28):
Happen i'm, thinking, Well i've been trying to tell, you,
financially it's a. Disaster so unless they're just gonna take That,
hickey which you know The broncos did and it worked,
out and, yeah well it took a, year but The
broncos did With Russell wilson and it worked. Out or
in this quarterback hungry, league if you can find someone
that would take that salary and maybe you give them

(01:32:51):
a second round, pick it might be worth it to
move on from.

Speaker 2 (01:32:55):
HIM i don't.

Speaker 3 (01:32:55):
Know DIDN'T i send you an article about seven quarterbacks
that were on the move to new teams or something.

Speaker 2 (01:33:01):
Like that earlier in the.

Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
Week didn't idea Like Malik willis and people like?

Speaker 2 (01:33:06):
That or, no, yes you.

Speaker 4 (01:33:08):
Did you send me mat allan sports article on quarterbacks
who should be on the. Move but it was literally
what we've talked about on this show every Single sunday.

Speaker 2 (01:33:17):
Night BUT i, mean do.

Speaker 3 (01:33:19):
You know what you would take for The dolphins right?
Now if you told me that he's healthy and he's
going to be ready for week number one?

Speaker 2 (01:33:25):
Two Daniel? Jones why? Not he looked.

Speaker 3 (01:33:29):
Great, yeah but he's not going to be ready for
week one, though is?

Speaker 2 (01:33:32):
HE i don't think.

Speaker 4 (01:33:33):
SO i mean he had The achilles, rupture AND i
mean those those take a and there's a big risk
of re injury with the achilles. Too but, YEAH i, mean,
listen there's we're going to spend the rest Of, february
most Of, march and then by the time we get
a little bit closer to the, draft there'll be some decisions.

(01:33:54):
Made but what let's, see so there's four shows And
i'm just using your math, Here we've got like twelve
shows that we're gonna be. Doing we're gonna be debating
all those seven quarterbacks in new. Places BUT i, mean
Is Malik willis really gonna be a starter somewhere next
year because he had two good?

Speaker 2 (01:34:11):
Games, packers.

Speaker 4 (01:34:14):
You gotta Got Matt flynn and just give him all
the money and make him a starting because he looked
good in two.

Speaker 3 (01:34:18):
GAMES i don't know if you're gonna give him all the,
money BUT i think he'll take a, chance as they're,
saying bet on himself where he, plays you, know under
a one year contract and then goes for the big
money after, that kind of like What Sam darnold did
With minnesota after, that look where.

Speaker 2 (01:34:33):
He got the big money up there In.

Speaker 3 (01:34:34):
SEATTLE i think THAT i thought there was gonna be
more quarterback side quicker than later because of all the new.
Coaches they're gonna want to get their teams in, place
and when they have a chance to get a, quarterback
if they need a, quarterback they would go after one
sooner than. Later LIKE i said In, MIAMI i thought
they'd go After willis or somebody quicker than that if

(01:34:55):
they get passed to.

Speaker 4 (01:34:56):
Him do you know what the free agent quarterback market?
Is Daniel, Jones Malik, Willis Aaron, rodgers And Marcus.

Speaker 3 (01:35:03):
Mariota but also you could trade for Like Murray obviously
he's on the trading block or AM i?

Speaker 2 (01:35:09):
Wrong you're gonna have to give up probably a first
round pick.

Speaker 3 (01:35:12):
For him for For.

Speaker 2 (01:35:14):
Kyler you're too.

Speaker 3 (01:35:17):
Funny that's a funny. One you're usually not that. Funny
you don't think that the, NO i don't. Think, NO
i don't.

Speaker 2 (01:35:23):
Think then you're drunk and you gotta stop drinking during the. Show,
yeah he's going By. Arizona, Then, michael you got a new.

Speaker 4 (01:35:30):
Coach you're bringing an offensive minded. Coach he's he's a good.
Quarterback if those guys AND i just LISTENED i Take
kyler over all of them in a Hard.

Speaker 3 (01:35:39):
OH i you, KNOW i like, him you, Know i've
always liked, him but it doesn't seem like he seems
to me seemed like he was the on the outs
With arizona for how, long like for the whole year this?

Speaker 2 (01:35:49):
Year, right maybe you're never gonna play it? Right and
what happened to all the people that he was on
the outs, With, well they're. Gone that's right. History, Yeah
so new head coach it comes.

Speaker 4 (01:36:00):
In you just hired, Today Mike, lafleur AND i think
they brought him in with the thought, that you, know
we got to make this work With, kyler and if
it does, it then in twenty twenty, seven you move.

Speaker 3 (01:36:11):
ON i wonder if there's gonna be A vegas bet
who's gonna win more? Games harbas or The lafour's how about?

Speaker 2 (01:36:18):
That there you, Go maybe you come up with something
you don't just created. SOMETHING i create. Something i'm not
an odds. Maker you've got to deal with the odds
makers who might becoming after you on. That what they're
gonna steal that from me big? Time William. Wright The
Pro bowl is straight up.

Speaker 4 (01:36:33):
GARBAGE i found The Super Bowl marathon ON tv today
and it was way. Better And i've seen The Super
Bowl marathon a thousand. Times you watch that.

Speaker 2 (01:36:39):
Point that's. RIGHT i love. It that's my. THING i
missed it, today, Though. Colin can we be honest?

Speaker 4 (01:36:44):
Here does The Pro bowl actually have less entertainment value
than one Of arnie's adult rec league basketball?

Speaker 3 (01:36:49):
Games it's probably.

Speaker 2 (01:36:53):
Close you.

Speaker 3 (01:36:53):
Know i'm trying to put one of my fifty over
we get into the On, twitter BUT i can't figure
out how to download.

Speaker 1 (01:37:01):
It.

Speaker 2 (01:37:01):
There you're gonna we'll put it on, YouTube start a YouTube.
Channel what else you got.

Speaker 8 (01:37:05):
To do it?

Speaker 2 (01:37:06):
OUT i don't know they.

Speaker 3 (01:37:07):
Do they videotape the games AND i let some guys
school me and it bothered. Me he scored like two
three buckets on, me AND i.

Speaker 2 (01:37:14):
Kind of want to hurt. Him, next edit those, out
don't post those?

Speaker 4 (01:37:17):

it was also one of the first games that had
players that had the real players' names.

Speaker 2 (01:43:27):
On oh, really you didn't have?

Speaker 4 (01:43:28):

like those are the guys who are up the. Bat
but they had the real, players and they had The
raiders And Bo jackson was unstoppable in that.

it had like a little.

Speaker 2 (01:44:36):

Speaker 4 (01:44:45):
All we basically Had we had A natari for a
while where we could play, pong and then my grandpa
bought us A nintendo and.

Speaker 3 (01:44:51):
That was long was the big. Thing, yeah you used to.

Speaker 4 (01:44:55):
Have Before techmobile was an actual like video. Game you'd
have to go to the arcade to play, it like
it wasn't On nintendo for a.

Speaker 2 (01:45:04):
While you would have to go and play at a

Staff back to, You Hacksaw Jim duggins, Kid, Thanks, steve appreciate.

Speaker 2 (01:50:57):
It That's. Sicee by the, WAY i just made that.
UP i don't.

Speaker 4 (01:51:01):
KNOW i don't Think Hacksaw Jim duggan's kid is that guy.
Anyway got a lot of tweets that we want to
get to before we get out of, here BUT i
don't want to remind you of a couple. Things Number,
one you need to subscribe to The Fox Sports radio
YouTube channel now more than, ever especially With radio row
And Super bowl media days coming. Up Search Fox Sports
radio on YouTube and you'll see our best videos from

(01:51:23):
all of our. Shows and don't stop. There hit the
thumbs up icon and coming. Away let us know who's
take you like and even whose take you don't. Like
just Search Fox Sports radio on YouTube and, subscribe and
don't forget. Aston as we're done, here our show will
be up in podcast form simplease Search Fox Sports radio
however you consume. Podcast all, right two quick tweets, here

(01:51:44):
then we'll get to six the dab? Crab what gives
do you guys just hate The. Seahawks if The, niners
Rams cowboys Are eagles we're, playing you guys would not
be so down on This Super, bowl aren't? You your
biases have blinded you to a great teach you'll see On.
Sunday believe. It, no you, know it's a couple of.

Speaker 3 (01:52:04):
Things first of, ALL i, mean you look at The
seattle team AND i was just thinking about this at the.
Break No Marshawn, lynz you, know No Russell, wilson no
legion Of boom or. Whatever and you KNOW i get
no flashy. Nicknames no trendy. Guys it's a lily.

Speaker 5 (01:52:21):
Name you.

Speaker 2 (01:52:22):
Know you could bring up.

Speaker 3 (01:52:23):
That that's kind of a storyline And Sam darnold AND
i believe the same thing is on The patriots. Side
If Tom brady was the quarterback for The, patriots believe,
me there'd be a lot more. Interest, obviously he's been
retired for a while, now so you, Know Drake may
just doesn't move the needle like a lot of other.
Quarterbacks that's just the way it. IS i, MEAN i you're,

(01:52:45):
right if it was different, teams we'd be more we'd
be more excited about this Super.

Speaker 2 (01:52:50):
Bowl that's kind of the point on he's been making
all night. Long to be honest with, you it's like
he's just not into these two. Teams how Many i'm
not the only one you, know this is you, know
made its. Rounds there's a lot of.

Speaker 4 (01:53:02):
PEOPLE i get, that but it's it's ALSO i think
you're really under selling the.

Speaker 2 (01:53:07):
STORYLINES i really.

Speaker 4 (01:53:09):
Do i'm not gonna fight you over BECAUSE i don't
have that energy right. Now it's we're almost done AND
i AND i just don't want. TO i don't want
to tick you off before we get out of. Here
but The Sam darnold redemption story is. Awesome it's a
GOOD i think that's the one good. LOOK i think
it's not so much a good. Story i'm just happy For,

(01:53:29):
sam you know WHAT i. Mean being back here this
quickly is wildly. Incredible Mike rabel was fired by The
titans and two years later he's got his next team
in The Super. Bowl jake may was a first round
pick last year and not the top pick in the,
draft and he's got his team in The Super.

Speaker 3 (01:53:49):
Bowl so you're giving more reasons why people are rooting
against certain, teams like The tennessee fans are rooting against
The patriots BECAUSE i think they're good.

Speaker 2 (01:53:58):
STORYLINES i don't think you need a root against.

Speaker 3 (01:54:00):
Someone jets are rooting, against you, Know Seattle.

Speaker 2 (01:54:04):
Jets root against.

Speaker 4 (01:54:05):
Everybody, okay they have no they have nothing to root for,
themselves so they got a root against. Everyone they're like raider, fans,
MAN i feel it in my. Bones and then there
is this for mister nobody who writes this Isn't Super bowl,
related but it still confuses. Me how Did Josh allen
go from what are we doing during the game in
the regular season Versus houston to being a vocal proponent

(01:54:28):
of the hiring Of Joe brady as head.

Speaker 2 (01:54:30):
Coach, hmm that's a good. Question if he.

Speaker 3 (01:54:34):
Was, acting you think that maybe he wanted to change
And Joe brady was the direction he wanted to go.

Speaker 2 (01:54:40):
IN i don't necessarily.

Speaker 4 (01:54:43):
KNOW i don't. KNOW i feel like he's always Liked.
Brady brady's popular. Too, man he was gonna be in
the mix for The raiders. Job he was going to
be the mix At. Arizona AND i Think buffalo, Realized,
man we got a guy, here let's go get.

Speaker 2 (01:54:56):
Him let's just defensive. Coordinator that threw a. Fit, No,
no that wasn't. It, okay that Was Kim, dorsey, remember, yeah, yeah,
yeah that's.

Speaker 3 (01:55:06):
Mine and, then by the, way do you think this
new stadium for The bills has a reason why they
decided we would just want to start fresh all over
and get a new coach in and start a new
regime with the with the new stadium or that has
nothing to do with.

Speaker 4 (01:55:21):
IT i don't think it has anything to do with.
It BUT i think more than, anything they see a slight.
Reboot like in other, Way i'm selling my House, okay
we can't do all the work that needs to be
done to, it but we're gonna put a fresh coat
of paint on a couple of, areas and we put
a new fence, around and we're fixing some plumbing issues
and it's still really.

Speaker 2 (01:55:41):
Nice it's a nice. House it's HOW i feel about the.

Speaker 4 (01:55:44):
Bills they don't have to they're moving into a new,
place but they don't have to completely tear down the.
Team they just got to put a couple of fresh
coats of paint here and fix the fencing here and.
THERE i don't have to tear this place down and
make it. Nice they don't have to tear down their
team to make it. Good they got to get better
to file and they brought themselves.

Speaker 2 (01:56:01):
In a good. Offensive, Coach are you? Well validated?

Speaker 3 (01:56:04):
One BECAUSE i was thinking about moving next door to, You.

Speaker 2 (01:56:07):
Well the house is next door to. Me aren't?

Speaker 4 (01:56:08):
Available and then there was this from truck Or. Joe he,
said last year we got The luca trade During Super Bowl?
Week will we Get yannis this? Year making it two
years in a. Row THE nba gave THE nfl the middle. Finger,
WELL i mean the trade deadline Is, thursday so you're
gonna get something.

Speaker 3 (01:56:25):
Or do you think he's gonna end up By, LOOK
i don't think your.

Speaker 2 (01:56:27):
NAME i don't think.

Speaker 3 (01:56:29):
SO i don't think. SO i don't want to give
Up Carl Anthony. TOWNS i like him too, much SO
i can understand why it's gonna take him and plus.
Some BUT i don't want to cut the whole. TEAM
i know we haven't been playing great this. Year we're
still like twelve games over a five. HUNDRED i don't
want to make that move For.

Speaker 4 (01:56:47):
Yannis yeah, exactly all, Right WELL i think you. SHOULD
i think you, could but. DON'T i don't know that
the market is going to be all that. HOT i,
MEAN i know teams would won, him BUT i don't
know if they're. RETING i, mean the thunder have more
assets than. Anyone they're not going to be in the
market to go get, me be, HONEST i, MEAN i

(01:57:08):
don't really know. Where it sounds terrible to, say BUT
i think he's just not as hot of a commodity
as maybe everyone's trying to build him up to. Be
because of what you, SAID i think you'd rather see
your knicks make a smaller move and stan pat because
you like.

Speaker 2 (01:57:21):
The before they. HAVE i would like to go ahead
and see.

Speaker 3 (01:57:23):
That and also when you pick up a big superstar Like,
giannis is he going to move the needle and sell
more tickets when he goes to a new team or
is it not really going.

Speaker 2 (01:57:36):
To make a.

Speaker 4 (01:57:36):
Difference IT'S i think he would move the. NEEDLE i.
DO i think he. Would but then to The.

Speaker 3 (01:57:42):
Knicks The knicks already's sold so many, tickets won't make
a difference.

Speaker 2 (01:57:46):
Anyway where would he? Go right?

Speaker 4 (01:57:48):
Now that's, struggling you, know of the teams that we're
talking about to sell, TICKETS i don't.

Speaker 2 (01:57:51):
Know all, right got a break when we come.

Speaker 4 (01:57:52):

points or something like.

Speaker 2 (01:58:41):

Speaker 3 (01:58:43):
Messenger seattle's probably gonna have like a twenty seven to
three lead at. Halftime everybody's gonna be, like this game.
Sucks final Score seattle forty, One patriots. Seventeen and that's
because they get all by the way touchdown at the
end of the. Game otherwise it would have been forty

Betrayal Season 5

Betrayal Season 5

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
