Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Oh, let's go, stinking genius, O big boy, let's go.
Let's go you uh, let's go. You know you were
the newsbreaker, you were my adam schefter, you were my
I uh jacobated my job?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Is it my job?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I'm sitting last night on my couch, having a great night.
I'm got family in town. Is my daughter's birthday?

Speaker 4 (00:26):
Oh, happy birthday.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
My nephew Jack, Jack likes to dance and seeing he's
I think he's like ten years old. So he's all
full of energy. And I'm sitting in my couch and
I'm laughing, I'm smiling. I hear my phone ding, and
I reach over to some texts from you, yes, informing
me that Max Crosby had been traded.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Now, I guess you cry?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Did you cry?

Speaker 2 (00:48):
First off, I had to make sure you didn't get hooked,
cause you know you're guilty of that.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
Right.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
You can get once a while, Mary, once in a while,
he gets full.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
So as soon as I I had a bad feeling,
I was gonna tell you right now, I'm on some
kind of mush streak when it comes to thinking things
won't happen, and they do especially locally right now, Like
I never thought Jason Witten would be a head coach
at Oklahoma or an assistant coach at Oklahoma. Boomy gets
the job. Yeah, I just I never I never thought
they would trade Max Crosby. But for some reason, as

(01:21):
soon as I said that, when it came out of
my mouth on he was like, dude, you're you're on
a pretty bad run as far as your gut and
your gut feeling is concerned.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
And it just just crushed me. Man, that's that's our guy.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Sur Yes, I mean that they did a first and
a second.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
I know another team did two first round picks.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Oh didn't they but it was less. It would have
been lower than what Baltimore would have given.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Oh so the Raiders, Oh my gosh, I can't believe.
I'm just now figuring this out. I guess where the
Ravens are in this year's draft factors.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
In quite a bit.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Fourteen, I mean fourteen's not a bats No, I can't
remember the other team, but they would have the giving
up a like one ten picks lower.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yeah, because I think of next year's For some reason, right,
I can't even Yeah, I think it's like, why would
you do this, now, that's gonna be like the twenty
eighth or twenty ninth pick in the draft. But no, no, no,
But Baltimore also, I mean, that's the little Fredilay right now.
I mean, what do you like to tell me about
Lamar Jackson. You're not a big believer and he's not
at all, you know, and he's battle injuries. What is

(02:30):
Max Crosby battle of the last few seasons? Injuries? You
look at that offensive line, they've had some guys dinged up.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I'm not here to reign on the Ravens parade tonight
because y'all should celebrate. It's a hell of a move
and you got a franchise corner piece who's gonna play,
as you know what, off every single game.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
But my gosh, man, it's.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
An all in move if you're Baltimore, and it's a
crushing blow off your Raiders.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Fan, I'll read between the Lions. I have no inside
scoop on this. But do you get the feeling that
he's gone because he wanted to be gone? Because was
that rumor about him and Tom Brady going out to
dinner and then having a little bit of a argument afterwards,
and I guess somebody found out or they were they're
witnessing it, and there would have been yelling or something

(03:17):
like that. Well, once that.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Happened, you know, he wasn't going to come back to
the Raider.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Tom must have signed off on that deal. That's oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Well Vic Taefer, who is a longtime Raider reporter he's
now with the Niners, had to report and uh, Vig,
if you're listening and I'm taking liberties with this, please
let us know. But he really made it seem like
Max Crosby had let him know at the end of
the season, after he was shut down, that I'm I'm
going somewhere else.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I will make you see the video. That's after the video, right, No, no, no,
after the season, I know, but also after the video too.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
I don't. I don't think that was much. Man.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I I know that Mike what Mike Silver wrote about,
and he's a great reporter and a great writer. But
I think that that was a lot about nothing, be right.
I mean, he got traded, so anything's possible. I'm not
saying I think you're wrong. I just I think he
let him be known at the end of the year.
I want to go somewhere else, and I'm not gonna
throw a fit about it. If he continue to work
with me, we'll get it done. And I think the

(04:13):
Raiders tried their sales pitch one last time with Kubiak
and giving Jim Leonard the DC job, but it was
kind of a done deal and the Raiders, right, listen,
we're gonna have to rebuild around a young quarterback. And
I don't blame him for asking out it. Just to me, Arnie,
I grew up with the Raiders being the badasses, right,
they were the tough guys. There was Lyle Alzado, John mctuzak,
who's there was a linebacker Phil oh Gosh.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
I can't blame with.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
He was a little bit before my time because I
had Ted Hendrix and to me, I think it was
Villa Pelina. But anyway, Ted ted Hendrix to me that
that's Max Crosby, right, just this big, crazy dude that
if there was a Raider that would be current day,
that's what he would look like. And Max Crosby and
Kenny Stable would be all all these bad dudes from

(04:59):
back in the day. And Max Crosby was one of
those dudes that seemed to embody that kind of personality
in that persona, but just never worked out. Man, it
never worked out. And I can't blame the Raiders for
wanting to move on, and I can't blame Max Crosby
for one to be moved.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
It just I mean, it just sucks. If you're a
Raiders fan, it just sucks.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
It's well, you know what so funny is, who do
you think is tied for a last in the AFC
to make the playoffs?

Speaker 5 (05:24):
All this well, I saw this because you have it
on the rundown for tonight.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
If they get Raiders and the Dolphins I think are
thirteen to the one that make the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
They're the two worst.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Teams in the AFC. Probably they're worse than the Jets.
That's that's saying something. They're worst the Just how did
it get like this from my Dolphins? First of all,
two years ago we were one of the favorites to
go to the Super Bowl and now look at us, well,
I will.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
I will laugh.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
It took Mary Ryan bersching Heer in tonight running the
show to say you're on updates, and of course we
have the crew behind the scenes chopping up all the
audio but gold Vegas Golden Knights, who says all bad
things are happening in Vegas right now because the Raiders
got hockey on toon. I'll be giving you live updates
throughout the night. But it took you a seven minutes

(06:12):
to make it about your Dolphins. I appreciate you giving
me six minutes of morning before you made it about
your dolphins. Chris, go ahead, we're DFL right now.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
What I mean, no idea, you know if you want to,
if you want to compare it to morning, no offense.
You lost like a great great grandmother, and I you
know mine was a lot worse.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Because you're hurt, is worse your pain anymore?

Speaker 4 (06:34):
They want to trade waddle, They want to trade a
chan right?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Did I? Did I see that correctly?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Is that out there too?

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Or you didn't see that?

Speaker 5 (06:43):
I gotta be honest with you.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
I there's too many aggregators if this brand.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
But you got this? Okay?

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Good, I got it with me. Chad Forbes, Chad Forbes,
is that a real one?

Speaker 5 (06:58):
Yeah? Oh no, Chad's good.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yeah, Okay.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Expectations league wide as Dolphins will trade Devon Achan this offseason. Wow,
the Texans, the Chargers and Broadgos. Three potential suitors won't
be cheap on the compensation to acquire or the extension
first round pick or equivalent plus a eighteen million per

(07:20):
year extension. There was the first round pick for you're
damn right, we do wow, Okay, cony up.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
My friend and I want a first round pick for
Wattle too.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
I think you could get one for Wattle. Do you
know what's going on here, don't you? We want a
first round that's two first round.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Are you going to tank for arch? That's damn right,
that's what you want. You want Arch Manning in Miami.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
We'll have three first round picks our own, which is
gonna be probably top five, maybe top three. We'll get
one for e Chan, We'll get one for Wattle. That's three,
and those three picks will get us number one.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
We'll get us.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
Arch Manning, who by the way, I think I sent
you something else about how he's the easily the number
one pick, which I told you years ago, but you
tried to fight.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
Me in I did.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
No.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I disagreed if he would have gone out last year,
one hundred percent that he wouldn't have been the first
round pick in the draft. It would have been on
name alone. But they've done something we don't do today
in the world of college football. They haven't rushed him.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
To the league.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
His this is gonna be his fourth year in school, Arny,
he's gonna play four years in college. No, it's fourth twice. Remember,
no one realizes that he had one year as a starter.
He's going to have been in college for four seasons
at the University of Arkansas, Arkansas. I'm sorry, Texas. He's
had time to develop and I saw him at his

(08:40):
best man. What he did uh inside the uh inside
the cotton bolt was incredible.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
He was awesome.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
But we'll talk about that later. That's that's more. You're
saying that your your Dolphins are already setting the stage
to where they're gonna tank for Arch and that's gonna
keep you happy during this football season.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
And you're gonna I'm gonna be miserable this football season.
I'm not gonna we won't be talking football this year.
This is gonna be a non football year this year
for you and I. I can't go through a whole year.
I was one in six last year. I can't do
this again. I can't do this all over again. I'm
gonna I'm gonna go crazy. I can't go through back
to back years like this.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
What are you?

Speaker 4 (09:21):
What are you nuts?

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Can I just say I'm sorry, I'm not sorry that
this is going to be a very NFL heavy show tonight.
In fact, it might be three hours of NFL because.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
The last time we talked NFL.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Why is that?

Speaker 6 (09:33):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Because are you?

Speaker 4 (09:38):
It's gonna it's gonna be hard, and that's you. You're
not gonna have to be better except you'll have your quarterback.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Hope, I hope we have a quarterback. We're about to
find out, but we are. We are right at the
start of the new league year. Free agency is about to,
as the kids would say, pop off, and I want
to spend some time coming up here in just a
bit kind of figuring out who's going where you heard
the saga talking about it. Kyler Murray looks like the Vikings.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
Yeah, can I tell you something right now?

Speaker 2 (10:08):
I know that you and Daryl like to make fun
of me, but I think Kyler Murray and Minnesota is
gonna be really good.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Oh No, I like Kyler Murray.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
I'm not into but I was gonna say this though
you could pick any team. If you want to talk
to Minnesota, that's fine. I just brought up the or
right right, or Willis or Tua. I think Tua would
do a good job in Minnesota. Also, don't I'm not.
Unfortunately we have to give up on him in Miami.
But I still think he's got a future. I still
think he could be a starter in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Okay question on this are they just gonna eat that
money and cut them when you talk about Tua or
do you think there is a chance kind of like
this deal that we're seeing tonight where the Raiders made
a last second trade for Toron Johnson, the corner nickel
for the Buffalo Bills. He was gonna be released, and
I guess the Raiders before the hit the transaction wire,

(11:03):
jumped in and said, hey, no, no, no, we'll we'll trade
you for him. I think they're like swapping a sixth
or seventh round pick. Are you just gonna eat it
and hope that maybe someone pulls a Raiders here at
the last second says no, no, no, we'll give you like
a fifth, sixth round or for two.

Speaker 5 (11:17):
I don't know what it would be. Maybe even it
would be a seventh. Is that what you're hoping for?

Speaker 4 (11:20):
You think they're just gonna No, I think they're just
gonna paunt. I think that's what you have to do,
right you. You're gonna have to eat that contract after
June whatever. I don't even know the date. Is it
June fifth or sixth? I'm not sure on that. That
type of stuff, and that's all that's going to happen.
Nobody's gonna pick him up with that type of contract though,
unless you trade him. And obviously the Dolphins are gonna

(11:40):
have to eat the whole damn thing, but they're gonna
have to eat it anyway. After June sixth, it's just
gonna be more palatable for them. So that's what they're
going to do. But I still think can play. I'm
I'm never gonna completely give up on him.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
My gosh, I got so excited.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
I just started rolling through I gotta run down here,
and he sends us the Roman numeral rundown. And I
have about eighty links that I've saved to kind of
go through during the show, and I just clicked on
three big NFL stories that are going to require segment.
One of those one of those is Travis Kelcey's future,
which is currently, I guess, very much up in the air.

(12:18):
The second is the record deal for Trent McDuffie. And
are the moves we're seeing from the Chiefs a side
of the price of success? You know, last year they
had to move on from an offensive lineman. This year
they have to move on from Trent McDuffie, who's a
pretty key piece. So we can dive into that. And third,
and maybe most importantly, Arnie, is the same question we
ask every single year, and I must bring it up

(12:39):
to you right now. Why do we have this goofy
legal tampering period?

Speaker 5 (12:43):
Why?

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Why can't we just start free agency? Why must it
be and not search? What?

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Wednesday?

Speaker 7 (12:49):
Is?

Speaker 8 (12:49):
That?

Speaker 3 (12:49):
What it is?

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Yeah, everything officially starts on Wednesday, but you can start
the negotiating period.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
I mean, like now, I mean.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
We're on right the legal tampering period gets underway, I
mean any minute from now. So I don't know about you,
but I'm I just wish we could start just go.
I mean, why why do we have to have this
legal tampering period that leads into.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
It show tonight? Admit?

Speaker 5 (13:16):
Yes, Oh That's what I'm.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Trying to tell you, because literally it starts in forty
five minutes from now. You know, we have the Raiders
jump in with the trade for Taron Johnson. You had
the Chargers signed alec Ingold. I mean Trip McDuffie signed
his deal earlier today. What are he one hundred and
twenty four million dollars for four years? I mean we're't
gonna have break. I mean to say, are you ready?
Is he hydrated? I mean there is a chance that

(13:40):
an hour number two we could start really seeing some
of these rumors start to come to fruition, or at
the very least. I mean, you're in on this quarterback market, right,
Not that we think let me let me rephrase that,
not that we think that there's magically a sam Donold
that's gonna lead a team to a super Bowl, but
he just did. But there's some good value in this
quarterback mark, right.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
Right because of what you're paying for those guys. I mean, Murray,
you're you're paying NFL minimum.

Speaker 6 (14:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
One, you're Privtyll minimum. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
I mean some of the other ones you're gonna have
to give an extension. You're gonna have to pay big money,
like for for Willis or something like that for for Jones,
you know, for Daniel Jones. That is I'm surprised there's
not been a market for mac Jones. What's going on there?
He certainly had a good year, what was he three
and one for San Francisco when they did have the
best of years, I thought to be more interested in him.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Then then there's been shown right now.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Well you did say, I don't know if uh Willard
talked about it, but it appears as if it's a
fairly steep asking price right now for mac Jones.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Well he's only making five mill or something like that,
you know.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Yeah, but they're they're making it seem like they're they're
won a second day pick for mac Jones, They're won
a second or third round or for him. So if
you're you know, if that's what you're wonting, if that's
what you're willing to give up, than my goodness. But
they they're asking quite a bit for him right now.
So if you want to if you want to go,

(15:08):
if you want to go get mac Jones, you're gonna
have to give up a little bit of your draft
capital to go get him. Multiple sources are saying that
the Niners were looking for how I was wrong, Arnie.
I said third second round pick plus more for mac Jones.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
Now, would you be willing to give up with that?

Speaker 3 (15:26):
No? I don't.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
Well, okay again, if I'm looking for a quarterback and
night I'm not gonna get one of the other ones
on my list, I'd certainly consider it.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Maybe, and especially if you have an offensive coordinator that's
worked with him before and it's worked well. I mean
just I mean, Josh McDaniel's not out on the market
right now. He's got something cooking with the Patriots, is there, oc,
But if McDaniel was somewhere, he probably wouldn't be attaching
mac Jones to that that team, I don't think.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
Maybe you would, maybe you would, but I.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
I guess for me, I'm not really getting a second
round pick or I'm not wanting my team to give
up second round pick from mac Jones.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
No. But I mean, if you have interested in Jimmy
Ge a matter of fact, out of all those free
agent quarterbacks, I would say, after Murray, mac Jones would
probably be the second most desirable quarterback out there. He's
got a free agent though, But you're talking about that
you can go get yeah, when you can go get.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
I see what you're saying. I apologize, all right, So
here's let's do this real quick. Then we'll grab a break.
Let me just go down your list that you have
here in Roman numeral five yeh of the free agent quarterbacks?

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Well are those that are gonna be available?

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Uh, Kyler, Murray, Malik Willis, Aaron Rodgers. You have him
on this list, So you think he's gonna be available.
I mean, you don't think he's gonna be Steelers or retire.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
I think if somebody else pops up and says, hey,
this is what we got going, I think you'd consider it.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
Surprise Minnesota hasn't popped up there.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Daniel Jones, Is it it kind of set that the
Colts are gonna tag him and keep him around or not?

Speaker 4 (16:50):
Thing?

Speaker 3 (16:50):
So, but I've got one hundred percent sure on that.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Kirk Cousins, Joe Flacco, you got to mention him, he's
Pro Bowls. Jimmy g You've got trabisky list. You got mitch'
Trubisky listed here, Mac Jones in Tua. Those are all
the guys you have a listener to.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
All those quarterbacks, it would be Murray number one, Mac
Jones number two in my opinion.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Really, I.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Think I agree with you. Let me think about that. No,
you gotta put Ajaran Rogers. But what are you looking
for one year? Are you looking for a two or
three year?

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Mac Jones is young enough. If he does a good job,
you could have him for a pretty good time.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
We're getting close to the legal tampering period. I can
sense the excitement growing. But when we come back, we
do owe you college basketball. And as Arnie turns, it
was a very busy week in the life of Arnie Spaniard.

the Big ten and Duke's gonna win the A C C.

Or do you not even care?

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Because no, I just assume we're gonna be in one seat.
I haven't even even looked this year.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Well we have, really just you knew that from the
opening day. You didn't look at bracketology. Tey, we're gonna
go underfeeder, but nobody would in uh and I still
have two arms, So that's great. Florida moved ahead.

Speaker 5 (19:59):
Of yukon one.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Yes, I saw that.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Hey, should we try to fit in everything non football
here since we're gonna spend most of the night talking
about football, Like, for instance, you're getting a new dog.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
Yeah that ten?

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Yeah, twelve and thirteen Arnie's new dog in Arnie's new house.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Yeah, we moved into a new place. Of course, we
had to put our dog down, Stanley, who we had.
He was a rescuer for like nine years. We had
to put him down like a couple of months ago.
So we're getting into we're getting a cava pooh. You
know what a cava poo is?

Speaker 2 (20:31):
I actually do? Is it what you put online? Is
it the picture you posted?

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Yeah, it's it's a Saint Charles Cavalier and a.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
Poodle a little smaller breed instead.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
Yeah, and we had we had one.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
That's what mister Barksdale was. He was like a cockapoo.
So we we had one of those. So I just
was looking for a name. We came up with a
few of them that have hit. Like, what were your favorites.
I like Wilbur for the Arizona wild Cat.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
That's good.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
Well, or Willy for her nickname to us. Somebody sent
that one in. I thought that was it. But you know,
if he's not gonna be on the Dolphins, why am
I gonna name him to it? You know what I mean?
So somebody said Finn for the Dolphins, So that was
a good one.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
That's good.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
My wife like Norman for Norman Oklahoma.

Speaker 5 (21:18):
I like the way your wife's thinking.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Yes, she she liked Norman. That was good.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Somebody said Puoka for Puka Nakua, so that that wasn't
too bad either or something.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
Well, did you go.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
We haven't decided. We're not getting the dog for about
two or three more weeks. So you know what's crazy
is we're getting it from Utah and the breeding thing,
the breeding place that's doing it, flies with the dog,
drops it off to us, and then the guy turns
around and goes back home that like an hour later.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Yeah, that's you're so rich you having people fly your
dog to you.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
I mean, come on, now, this is.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
What are you gonna drive it to us? What do
you know?

Speaker 2 (22:03):
There's a pound somewhere. Go save a dog man. I
mean all our dogs, and.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
All our dogs have been rescues. I want you to
know that all the dogs have been rescues except for
this one.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
What is expensive though it.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
Has its own handler that's flying it from Utah. What
are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (22:20):
I'm embarrassed to tell you how. Uh?

Speaker 2 (22:23):
And then finally new place. Are you comfortable now you
know how to use your TV?

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Or you set or.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
TV is working? I got to move my studio to
the other side of this room. I'm not too crazy
about this place, but it'll do. What's wrong not that
it's just not as big as my place up in Vermont.
You know what I mean, it's it's it's a little
bit small. But there's there is three there's four bathrooms.
I didn't even know that four. Yeah, I thought there
was only three. There's four bathrooms. I didn't even know

(22:50):
that was possible. So so good for me. So I
could just stop off at any level, go to the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
I have to know, are your neighbors close enough if
we really get into it or you have a good
kind of freak out or meltdown, will they be able
to hear you.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Or no way?

Speaker 4 (23:06):
You know, I'll tell you.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
What do you remember you're a Sopranos guy? Are you
a Sopranos guy? Oh?

Speaker 5 (23:09):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Remember when Tony was talking to Johnny late in the
whole series and the Feds were coming to arrest him,
and Tony took off and his shoe and he was
running through the creek and through the woods and you know,
you know, oh yeah, that's what my backyard looks like.
So I'm ready to take off in case the Feds
come at.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
See, you've got room. You got to just make sure
you don't get a shoe lost while you're running.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
I just have to do this.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
I mean, yeah, we have neighbors, but one of our
neighbors is like ninety one, and I don't even know
how he gets up and down the stairs.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
I mean, God, bless him. Man, it's incredible.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
Good for what a week for Arnie. All Right, we
got a lot of NFL talking.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
But by the way, I sorry, no later on because
I can't do it now. I got into a fight
with the president of the homeowners. I mean an ugly
fight too. I'm not just talking about it. I'd be
He accidentally called me and he didn't know he was
speaking to me, and he said, yeah, I got into
an ugly fight with the new owner.

Speaker 5 (24:08):
And I said, oh, and it was you.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
I go, I'm the new owner, you idiot. I go,
I'm the new owner.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
What do you guys? Okay, let's we can't. We gotta
get down the clock tonight.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
But yeah, why do we got to stay on the
clock you get yelled at or something.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
No, no, no, it's just there's it's a breaking news
kind of a night, the NFL stuff. I mean, we
got Kelsey news potentially breaking tonight. But well, I gotta know,
what were you fucking over?

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Money?

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Money? He wanted to me pay extra, and I told
him it wasn't gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
Oh, dang it. I was hoping it was because he
had like a shrub that was too high or something.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
He doesn't like me. I promise you that.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Oh, I don't know how anyone cannot like you. This
is terrible, all right, Steve Disaga, the most likable guy
on the planet, slides in because we could have some
news tonight, Disega, we could.

Speaker 10 (24:53):
Yeah, of course, the NFL's free agent negotiating window opens
on Monday. I'm waiting, though, for Arnie to put some
over so like wildcat face in his window. That'll be
against regulations, and that will be like the end of it.
There will be no talking between the two of them
after time.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
Oh, they don't like there's no talking now between us.
It's gotten very ugly.

Speaker 10 (25:13):
Well, there was accidental talking.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
You just said.

Speaker 5 (25:16):
I could hear you those saying you called me I'm
the homeowner. I could hear.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Exactly what I said. That's exactly what I said. And
I could I could hear him just like going, oh crap.

Speaker 10 (25:31):
Let him keep speaking. Maybe you could have got some
juicy stuff for the court case. That's no doubt coming.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
Oh yeah, believe me.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
I already let the attorneys, I said to him. Let
the attorneys take care of it, buddy.

Speaker 10 (25:42):
Let's just Doug Leewell and is standing by in the whole.
USA Baseball plays Monday nights. Pirates pitcher Paul Skens goes
against Mexico Mexico one tonight in front of thirty six
thousand loud fans in Houston, and sixteen nothing was the
final over Brazil. They shortened the game to six innings.
Ro Kirk of Toronto homer and four RBIs. And there's

(26:03):
a game finishing up on FS two right now. After
a couple of rain delays, they're back playing. Panama goes
to the bottom of the ninth, leading Canada for to three.
Japan this morning defeated Australia, holding on four to three.
Dominican Republic hit four homers and won twelve to one
against Netherlands in a shortened game. The Rams gave new
defensive back Trent mcduffy a four year extension worth a

(26:26):
reported one hundred million dollars guaranteed. The Chargers signed fullback
alec Ingoldex of Miami Las Vegas acquired defensive back Terren
Johnson from Buffalo. Ryan Blaney took the NASCAR race at Phoenix.
Christopher Bell finished second the Arnold Palmer Invitational in a
playoff went to Akshay Battilla, beating Daniel Berger. As for

(26:47):
the NBA tonight, we've still got a couple of games
going on. At Sacramento, well, just final Kings won twenty
six to one ten over the Chicago Bulls, and third
quarter at Phoenix, the Suns are leading sixty four to
fifty eight against the Charlotte Hornets. Everything else NBA is final.
Portland has sent Indiana to a ninth straight loss, one
thirty one to one eleven, A lot of blowouts. Tonight,

(27:10):
Toronto sent Dallas to a seventh straight loss, one twenty
two to ninety two. New Orleans sent Washington to an
eighth straight loss, one thirty eight one eighteen. Orlando's win
at Milwaukee was one thirty to ninety one. Yannis Antanacumpo
was out sitting out of back to back after Jason
caf straight Yeah, this is this is thirty games he's

(27:30):
missed now this season at San Antonio and counting. I
guess the Spurs won at home against Houston one forty
five to one twenty Miami one, It's fifth in a row,
defeating Detroit won twenty one, one ten. Even though Kay
Cunningham of the Pistons did return from last week's Bruce
squad and he had twenty six points, the Lakers did
not have Lebron James out again with the Bruce elbow

(27:50):
and the foot arthritis, and the Lakers beat New York
today one ten to ninety seven. Lukadancic thirty five points.
Boston won at Cleveland one oh nine ninety eight, although
the Cavs Donovan Mitchell returned from injury and scored thirty.
College hoops season is over. The regular season for the
men done today. Number three Michigan beat Number eight Michigan

(28:10):
State ninety to eighty. Number nine Nebraski in overtime beat
Iowa eighty four to seventy five, and number eleven Illinois
won seventy eight seventy two at Maryland. There are conference
tournaments going on. Northern Iowa takes the Missouri Valley tonight
in North Dakota State won the Summit League. Queens in
overtime took the Atlantic Sun High point now thirty and

(28:31):
four after winning the Big South Women's basketball conference finals.
Today went to Duke Texas West Virginia. The Duke win
was in overtime, by the way, and UCLA rank number two,
having a great season, beat number nine Iowa to a
pulp ninety six to forty five. Yukon plays tomorrow in
the Big East Final. Speaking of beating to a pulp.

(28:52):
In the NHL, Buffalo has won seven straight eight seven
the final against Tampa Bay. You know this team is hot.
Maybe Saber for the old Buffalo, Sabers for a little dog.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
Nam I already used Saber. That was our first dog.
You're kidding, No, Saber was the first.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
How do you get I mean, what power do you have?
I barely got to name a cat. You've named a kid,
You've named a dog. Now, this is unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
I guess I get the name of my kid.

Speaker 5 (29:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (29:21):
Thanks.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
By the way, I was gonna say, did you guys
see the ending of the Boston the.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Bu Navy game?

Speaker 4 (29:30):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (29:31):
And that Navy got ripped off.

Speaker 10 (29:33):
You know in that conference they play home games. Name
my first place team lost at home today.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
Three point three and a half seconds left.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
I believe uh and Boston down by two points. They
inbound the ball after a bucket by Navy to make
it give them the two point lead, and the clock
doesn't start for about two seconds.

Speaker 10 (29:55):
But it's a Navy home game.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
I know that, but it's still it's still a mistake.
The clock doesn't and start for two seconds, gives the
guy enough time to dribble, put it behind his back,
get past half court, and put up a three porter
between the half court line and the three point line,
and it was good. Otherwise it's it's not even closed.
The clock runs out. You know, you could technically look

(30:17):
at that and if you had any guts, say no,
we're taking that win away.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
We're giving it to Navy. That that's not right. But
because it was a Navy home game, they won't do that.

Speaker 10 (30:26):
And that league does not have its final the next day.
They're taking a Wednesday TV slot. They've got a few
days off to mull that one over.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Yep, I'm not gonna lie. I was putting my hand
up because I was gonna ask how much you guys
have follow the old WBC the World Baseball Clubs money? Oh?

Speaker 10 (30:42):
Really?

Speaker 5 (30:42):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (30:43):
Good?

Speaker 10 (30:43):
Those games in Tokyo and in Puerto Rico have been phenomenal. Oh,
the crowds phenomena.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
That walk off.

Speaker 5 (30:49):
Yesterday, Yes in Puerto Rico. They just showed the highlight
of it on FS two. I'm watching Canada.

Speaker 10 (30:55):
Bottom of the tenth, a two run tenth.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
I was real and into it two.

Speaker 10 (31:00):
So we had mentioned that that's a team that's missing
a couple major leaguers because they couldn't get insurance for
the tournament. And so the guy who had the walk
off game winner is a triple A guy for Las
Vegas and is from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and they
have to be playing the games in their stadium. It's
home games during the group play. These four first four.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
Games, it's just HEAs Mexico.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Are we the underdog?

Speaker 10 (31:27):
That's gonna be a loud crowd. My goodness, it's already
sold out in Houston, only standing room tickets available. And
let's just say it's in Texas, which is not that
far from Mexico, just like when Mexico three years ago
was playing games in Arizona. I don't know if it's
gonna be even a fifty to fifty split.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
The line.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Oh my goodness, Arnie, we got to get to Houston.
We got to help the boys out. Let's go listen.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
You're not gonna believe what the line is against Mexico
after what they did today, USA on the money line
minus four to seventy five Mexico plus three forty.

Speaker 10 (32:02):
So heavy favorites, heavy favorite Mexico.

Speaker 4 (32:04):
That's a lively underdog. Yeah, after what they put up today, that's.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
For sixteen zip over Brazil. This is I get. I
am an old man.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
I do not know how to use my TV, but
I get confused about where to find it. I think, though,
if I just stick with FS one, it pretty much
shoots me in the right direction.

Speaker 10 (32:21):
Right in the USKA Games, the first three games are Fox,
so Tomorrow's Fox and then Tuesday Italy is FS one.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
It's gonna be fun, man, all right, thanks a lot, Steve, Hey, Arnie.
Real quick, before we grab a break, let's let's talk
about the Travis kelce news.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
Tonight.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
There was a report from the Athletic that Travis Kelcey
is expected to return for his fourteenth NFL season, but
it's not a sure thing. He'll resign with the Chiefs.
Then the Associated Press Raw Maddi pointed out at the
Scout Combine week that if Kelsey plays, he'd only played
for the Chiefs and wouldn't test the market. So I

(32:59):
don't know what to leave right now. The Rams have
been mentioned. I don't know if people are just saying, oh,
Taylor Swift La, maybe let's go to the Rams. I
don't know if there's a true connection there. But I mean,
is it Kelsey's going to test the market or he's
coming back to the Chiefs and that's the only thing
he'll potentially do if he comes back.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
I think the decision will be made for him, to
be honest with you, I think when he finds out
when Mahomes is going to come back, that's when he'll
make a decision. If he finds Mahomes will be ready
to go week one, then I'll say I'm good to go.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Let's side me with Kansas City. Let's give it another year.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
If he finds out Mahomes is halfway through the year
type person, then he might not want to stick around
for that. Plus, Kansas City did make trades like they're
not punting on the year. They're not expected to make
great moves, you know, or make a Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
Run, so he may go ahead and go to another team.

Speaker 4 (33:51):
I believe he will, because I don't think Mahomes will
be ready for week number one.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
All right, we got to get a break when we
come back. Let's hit the NFL even deeper. Arnie Spaniel,
I'm Chris Blank and your tweets as well. On Fox Sports.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
Radio, Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup
in the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports
Radio dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR
to listen live.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
All right, it's Arnie and Plank care on Fox Sports Radio.
Best way to get in touch with us is always
is on Twitter X find Arnie at Stinking Genius one.
I'm at Plank Show and everybody should be following us
if you don't at Fox Sports Radio, did you did
you see the fake story today on Ezekiel Elliott that

(34:36):
made the rounds by?

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Oh, I missed the fake story.

Speaker 4 (34:39):
You know.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
I love a good fakes. I'm surprised you didn't send
it to me exactly. First, there was the there was
a story that said Richardson.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Oh yes, the one that said you paid me.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
So right right right, okay? And that was from instead
of on three Sports, No. Three Sports uh. And then
the SEC numbers guy, throughout a tweet that said four
Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott, weighed in on urban
Meyer's stance against paying players. Quote, Honestly, I don't get
why he's even commenting on it. They gave me and

(35:10):
my family seventy five thousand dollars just they basically use
the same phrasing, and it blew up.

Speaker 5 (35:16):
It blew up. So you had two fake stories tonight,
Arnie that you didn't fall for.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
I well believe I didn't fall for that one. I
saw that, and I'm just like, yeah, I'm just gonna
move on from that one. I no big deal for
it was I thought, but I probably should have stopped it.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
That one.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
That's kind of juicy me.

Speaker 5 (35:33):
I'm I'm disappointed in you.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
I'm disappointed in myself.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
I like this from mister Mojoe Rising, just hot off
the presses. He writes us and says they ought to
make NFL Free agency a primetime show just like the Draft.
The NFL can figure out a way to snchronize big
time signings, kind of the way the NCAA does with
Signing Day.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
What did you just watch the GM making fun phone
calls and stuff you just get to listen on like
a like a fly on the wall or something.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Yeah, it's it's a little bit more fluid, isn't it.
I like the idea, though, I mean, could you imagine
a TV show. Let's see, because legal tamping period starts,
I guess, I mean the seger is my timeline, right,
or they say it starts at midnight tonight, or because
free agency okay, because free agency starts like at three
o'clock in the aftercon.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
Somebody say, get the Dolphins on the phone. Anybody's interested
in that bum of a quarterback too? With that they got,
they should be kissing our feet that we're even thinking
about taking them. Could you imagine if we heard stuff
like that?

Speaker 3 (36:35):
Oh, that'd be so Jude, oh God.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
And in fairness on Wednesday at three o'clock, I mean
ESPN and the NFL network, and I mean just about
everyone is live with the show. I mean, we're here
live on Fox Sports Radio, if you know, on the
iHeart Radio app, on our YouTube stream.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
I mean, yeah, but you'll here before that. That's rue,
so I know.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
But whenever their point is, you know, hey, I'd love
to have a TV show that like the draft. Well,
we kind of get one, we just don't get those
inner workings of that's.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
What we want. Yeah, we want the inner scoop. That's
what we live for.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
Oh, this is a good question from Josh. I know
this is a Roman numeral.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
Later in the show, but Josh asks Arnie, are you
worried about your knicks? Now that Jason Tatum is back?

Speaker 4 (37:20):
He has looked pretty good the last couple of the
last two games. He's come back at twenty points today.

Speaker 10 (37:25):
But to Troy and slumping. By the way, NFL says
noon eastern tomorrow, but you and I both know.

Speaker 5 (37:31):
Oh okay, okay, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 10 (37:34):
I have to say, you're not probably wrong. Okay, I
don't think people will literally lay off the phone until
noon eastern. But yeah, they're one call like somebody in prison.
You know, you can get one call to the free agent.
I'm not sure they're waiting to literally the hands right
at the top. Maybe I didn't change my clocks today

(37:55):
or something, or.

Speaker 5 (37:56):
I knew there was a twelve there somewhere. I just
didn't know which one it was.

Speaker 10 (38:00):
Oh yeah, legal tampering for a few days anyway, Detroit
has lost four in a row. That's in the East
as well. Pistons were you know, I'm not saying they're
not at the top anymore or anything like that, but
things have changed.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
I'm watching the nineteen eighty eight Western Conference Semi Finals
Game five right now on NBA TV. The Jazz lead
the Lakers fifty five to fifty three. This is Arnie
Spanier in his prime right here.

Speaker 10 (38:22):
I can feel it going seven.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Mark Eaton is out on the court, I mean Mark
former yeah. Oh and John Stockton, Oh, time out Lakers.
They're not happy, but uh yeah, I'm.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
I'm so you're watching real basketball.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
I'm really getting Oh. Rob Lowe was courtside. The man
is ageless, right, Gunner.

Speaker 10 (38:42):
By the way, NBA Network did show a Pete Maravich game.
Do you know how few games must have been nationally
televised back then?

Speaker 5 (38:50):
Kidding you had a really dig But they.

Speaker 10 (38:52):
Were playing the Knicks, so it was on the New
York channel WR and they happened to have a copy
of the game. And I think he scored like sixty
eight seventy two.

Speaker 5 (39:03):
Yes, it was.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Ridiculous, unreal. The Gunner has a question for you, Arenie
He writes, who are the Dolphins going to draft? And
are my Panthers going to get a backup for Bryce Young?
And well the Timberwolves make it all the way to
the finals this year. You three good questions.

Speaker 4 (39:18):
The Dolphins always disappointment when it comes to the draft,
though I loved a Chen and you loved it. Right
when they make that big didn't you use Tex? You said, watch,
he's gonna be awesome. They'll go for some offensive lineman
or the defensive lineman.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
You know, I hate that stuff.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
I always give me the wide receiver, give me the
running backs, you know, give me the flash.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
But they never do that for me.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
Would would you be happy they took like Kenyon Sadik
the tight end out of Oregon?

Speaker 5 (39:45):
Are?

Speaker 6 (39:48):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (39:48):
Yeah, you want a receiver that doesn't shake.

Speaker 4 (39:51):
You are short on tight end though, ever since we
let John new Smith go to I mean, I mean,
you're sitting here, got cut to You're right sitting there
in a pretty good spot.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
I mean you're sitting at number eleven in the first round.
Oh boy, what well, you don't care about safety? So
what am I saying? I almost said, what if Caleb
Downs falls to you? You don't even care. I don't
want a safety. I want a receiver. I want a
running back. I want a skill position.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
Guy, give me give me a little bit of Forget
the meat and potatoes, give me the flash.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
That's what I want. Give me some of that.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
You couldn't care less about getting anything that really adds
to the substance. And then our man late night drug
tester says, since that your dog is from Utah, you
could call it Moab jazz or even sun dance.

Speaker 4 (40:33):
That's not a bad idea. Sons would not be a
bad one. But I think I'm gonna keep it sports related.
I think I think that's gonna be.

Speaker 5 (40:39):
Well, the jazz would be sports related.

Speaker 4 (40:41):
Yeah, the jazz would be good, but come here, jazz
that's a girl's thing.

Speaker 3 (40:44):
Come on, jazz.

Speaker 10 (40:45):
Skipped over the Timberwolves question. Wouldn't they have to beat
the Spurs and the Thunder back to back likely to take?

Speaker 2 (40:52):
Thanks having my back on that one, Steve, because I
was gonna say, yeah, they don't, because Okac is really good.
And I'm saying that as someone who picks them apart
and wants to find everything wrong with them, just because
you know you you want to believe How is this happening?
How is this true? I mean, they're amazing, and I
think again it's okay. See, soveryone was like, oh, I

(41:12):
can't believe anything from Okac. Then you get the Foulbator
conversations and things of that nature. But they're I'm as
critical as anyone, and I drill away at them every
single day, and there's nothing to drill away at.

Speaker 5 (41:24):
Man, They're just legit.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
So sorry, not going anywhere as long as the Thunder
have this core in place, all right, when we come back,
what moves will happen? First in free agency?

Speaker 1 (41:34):
Well, you're listening to Fox Sports Radio to let's go
stinking genius our quick first hour.

Speaker 5 (41:42):
I need more.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
Information on your fight with with the h o A
guy already. We got to find time for that somewhere.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
It was pretty bad, it was, But how can you
just now be moved in and already brawling with this
guy like you haven't even been there a month. The
people that own the place before me, he left two
months of the homeowners unpaid.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
Wants the money for me.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
That's not your responsibility, That's what I told him, And
then he started citing case law.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
I go, where did you go to law school. And
he goes, well, I'm not an attorney. I go.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
You just Philip bustered me for twenty minutes without let
me talk, and you're not even an attorney. I go,
get out of here.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
You knuckle ahead. What am I gonna listen to you?

Speaker 4 (42:22):
I go, We'll see what my attorney has to say
about it.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
You need to get after him, and some bird law
is what you needed to do. Look, get Charlie Day
on your side. Bird law would have saved you right there. Well,
this is just dumb. Hopefully you win. You better not
lose this fight. You want me to call my big
guns for you when we get my big attorney friends
in Oklahoma.

Speaker 3 (42:40):
Tell me you know I got big attorney friends right now,
so you're fine.

Speaker 4 (42:46):
I'm going after them. I'm not backing down on this one.

Speaker 5 (42:49):
Don't get it.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
You gonna take it all the way. Arnie's blown everything
up bird law all right?

Speaker 5 (42:54):
So sorry, all right?

Speaker 2 (42:59):
Anyway, Arnie, take me through from your perspective, how crazy
you think this free agency period is going to be
now legal tampering officially tomorrow at noon Eastern, but then
we'll have in the middle of the afternoon on Wednesday,
the true start a free agency, when we'll know all
the pretty much moves by then.

Speaker 5 (43:17):
So just in general, you're.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
Buying that we're gonna have a pretty crazy couple of
couple of days here in front of us with movement.

Speaker 4 (43:25):
It will be one of the most significant free agent
moves or tide periods.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
Of we'll ever see in football. I mean, wow, think
about this.

Speaker 4 (43:34):
You read those the ten quarterbacks I put down Murray, Willis, Rogers,
Daniel Jones, Mac Jones, Flacco, Jimmy G. Trubisky, and Kirk Cousins.
I will tell you this is that ten, one, two, five, six, ten.
I those ten. I bet you that eight of them
becomes starters for next year, for next year, yeah, for

(43:58):
this upcoming year.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
I mean okay, eight of those ten. Yeah, well, I
mean I think you're not saying opening day starters.

Speaker 5 (44:05):
You're saying at some.

Speaker 3 (44:06):
Point no opening day starters.

Speaker 5 (44:09):
You might be right.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
I mean, think about that eight quarterbacks being traded or
picked up or free agent signing and will become the starter.
And that's out of ten. These ten guys will definitely
change teams, but figure of the eight of them will
become starter somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
All right, can we play a dumb game here real quick? Yeah, yeah,
let's find eight places then, because I don't know the
Raiders is taken, right, that starting quarterback is going to be.
You know, I would hope they're gonna let the rookie start.
I would hope that they're gonna have Fernando Mendoz be
the guy from day one.

Speaker 4 (44:46):
If we're started, we'll start in the AFC, the Docins.
That's Jets, the Dolphins and the Jets. There's one, two there,
just two right there, Pittsburgh three, Cleveland, Cleveland, there's four.

Speaker 5 (44:56):
You might be right.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
In the Appolis Us.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
Aren't they resigning? Well, they're gonna need a guy while
Jones recovers.

Speaker 4 (45:04):
Right, Well, if they signed Daniel Jones, then he's going
to be the starter there.

Speaker 5 (45:10):
Right, that's five.

Speaker 4 (45:11):
That's five. Okay, that's the rest of that. That's done
with the AFC, NFC Vikings. Vikings would be six.

Speaker 3 (45:21):
That's tough.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
After that, Arizona seven, that's it. Falcons eight. No, Well, Pennix,
but he's hurt.

Speaker 3 (45:31):
He was hurt.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
I mean, Atlanta was a place that was rumored, you know,
to maybe be in the Kyler game.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
Are the Saints in the quarterback position there or no.

Speaker 5 (45:39):
I think they're in love with what Tyler Shuck's going
to be, right.

Speaker 3 (45:42):
Right, So that's eight right there, and you might be right.

Speaker 4 (45:45):
They're the eight quarterbacks that guy said are going to
be starter somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
Probably, Yeah, I just and it is kind of weird
to think that Kyler's going to be somewhere other than
Arizona and he's not going to be likely guaranteed a
starting job. It's gonna be weird to think about what
Intlanta and Minnesota have to do this year. Like Atlanta,
they're gonna move on from Kirk Cousins, right, but if

(46:09):
you feel like they need security there, if Pinnis is
in back to one hundred percent. We don't know what
kind of NFL quarterback Pinnix can be yet, right, I mean,
we're I like him? Are you all in on him
as being a franchise guy yet I'm no.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
I thought he was.

Speaker 3 (46:22):
What are the Cardinals going to go after that? What
are the Cardinals?

Speaker 2 (46:24):
Well, just I mean, real quick, on the other side
of that, Minnesota and the JJ McCarthy conversation, I mean,
they've got to have security. He can't stay healthy. Now,
he said, what one good game the second half of
a Monday that football game, in the first half of
the first game of the season. I mean, it's just
he hasn't been able to stay healthy. They tried to
trade him reportedly already last year. So they've got to

(46:46):
find some insurance there too. You got two guys that
you spent high draft capital, lawn, Arnie, that you gotta
have security blankets for right now in Atlanta and Minnesota,
We'll not.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
Everybody could start. Somebody's got to be the backup. And
with some of these low contracts, they're not easy.

Speaker 3 (47:01):
You know.

Speaker 4 (47:01):
They're not in a hurry to get rid of him,
Like San Francisco doesn't want to give up back Jones.
They're like, why should we? We want them to stick around.
We're paying them no money. We've had injuries at the
quarterback position. He was three and one last year. Stuff
like that is hard to find.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
Question your free agent quarterback. You're you're Arnie, You've got
your choice. Sorry, I guess we could. We could throw
Gino in that mix too. You didn't even have Gino
on your list. I mean, I think that would make
eleven right, and I think I might not even have
there more than Jimmy. I just remembered him. I think
I had therapy to forget about it.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
What was the Jimmy g rumor we had a month ago,
didn't we?

Speaker 2 (47:40):
Yeah, he was gonna go to Arizona, right because of
how Yeah, because the tic he had with their new
head coach. But no, real quick, if you had your
choice between going to a place like Arizona or Miami
or New York and you're going to be the start,
it's like, hey, you're coming here, Arnie, You're gonna be

(48:01):
the starter.

Speaker 5 (48:02):
Would you go there?

Speaker 2 (48:03):
Or would you take a chance at a place like
Minnesota with a better roster and and maybe you would
even throw a land in there with a better up,
with a better roster and offensive weapons. I mean, would
you rather go where you're gonna start or would you
take that chance to where you might compete but you
know you're gonna play because the guy in front of
you might not be as good as you, and also

(48:23):
you know he can't stay healthy. I want to start,
soh So you would go to you would go to
the Jets, you would go to the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (48:30):
Matter of fact, I would actually go to the Jets.

Speaker 4 (48:32):
I was thinking about that because one, if the Dolphins
are that bad, you're gonna at least be better than them.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
It doesn't seem like the Bills are world beaters. Uh.

Speaker 4 (48:40):
And you know, again, the Patriots had that easy schedule,
so you might be the easiest division to go to
and maybe for you to succeed. Plus, the Dolphins are
completely retooling, getting rid of anybody, everybody. If that happens,
then you're really screwed. The Jets still are competitive. I
think I'm I would go to the Jets and become

(49:01):
a starter there.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
All right, a lot of text and tweets are starting
to rolling, but I wanted to hit on this from
Roger the Engineer, the die hardest of die hard Chiefs
fans that I know. Roger writes, Kelsey will be back
and the McDuffie trade is the Tyreek Hill trade two
point zero? How did that work out? The Chiefs now
have a bunch of picks. My guess is they sign

(49:24):
a free agent running back, drafted edge rusher and still
have multiple picks. And oh guys, the Kelsey not resigning
with the Chiefs is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
There's no way he's playing for anybody else. Talk about clickbait.
Whoever wrote that article is looking for clicks. No, I
mean again, if you knew that just a deliverer. I know,
if you knew that Patrick.

Speaker 4 (49:44):
Mahomes though, wasn't going to come back to week eight
or week nine, I'd have.

Speaker 3 (49:48):
To give it serious consideration.

Speaker 4 (49:50):
If I'm Dravis Kelsey about going one more place and
playing one more year somewhere else.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
Now, if I know that.

Speaker 4 (49:57):
He's coming back, then Mahomes is coming back that I'm
just staying there, and there's no even the second thought
about the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
Here's the note that Pro Football Talk had just about
an hour ago, just kind of putting all the reports together.
The Athletic reported that Kelsey is expected to return for
his fourteenth season, but it's not a sure thing. He'll
resign with the Chiefs, and I guess. Rob Maddie of
the AP had pointed out in his scouting Combine week

(50:27):
report that if Kelsey plays, he'd only played for the
Chiefs and wouldn't test the market, So you kind of
have conflicting reports out there. The Athletic also added in
its report that Kelsey's agent is expected to take to
talk to multiple teams once the negotiating period opens tomorrow.
So that's the report that's out there. I mean, you

(50:48):
can buy it. You don't have to believe it. But
it does appear as if he's trying to figure out
if the Chiefs will spend a little bit more money
on him, maybe maybe the offer to make him happy.

Speaker 3 (50:57):
Like a chance or seventy retaining him.

Speaker 4 (51:01):
But I really think a lot has to do and
when Mahomes is coming back, you can't can't just shrug
that off. If Mahomes is going to be heard for
any legitimate time and it's not going to be a
good year, then maybe you want to walk. Maybe if
it's only for three four weeks, that's a whole nother story,
and you'll go ahead and bite the bullet and say,
let's try to go two and two in the first
four weeks and we'll wait for Mahomes to come back.

Speaker 2 (51:21):
So you think it will be based on the severity
of mahomes injury, absolutely, because he's looking at it as
my last shot, only one more year left for Kelsey.

Speaker 5 (51:33):
Do you think he.

Speaker 4 (51:34):
Would signed with Kansas City if you knew that Patrick
Mahomes was let's say coming back in week ten.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
I mean, I don't, I guess not. If your only
goal is to win a title then now if it's
trying to just finish off a career in the if
I say, and lead a team, Mahomes may not coming.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
Back to week ten. What do you think Travis Kelsey
is thinking in his mind.

Speaker 2 (51:54):
We're not going to be a very good football team
exactly why come back for that one year? Well, if
you can get to week ten and you're four and six,
I mean, you could still get up. You could still
roll into the playoffs and do some damage. Tell that
to the Dolphins last year. But I understand that, Sonny.
But I mean, Mahomes does have a Super Bowl? Are

(52:14):
you buying that? He's you know, what was your point earlier.
It's kind of not really up to him, right, It's
kind of the offers that are out there.

Speaker 4 (52:20):
Well, if it depends on how how healthy Mahomes is
going to be and all on that, okay, and who
else is also you.

Speaker 3 (52:27):
Know, going to go after him?

Speaker 4 (52:29):
And if there's a good situation, you really want to
be someplace where you're comfortable, especially when you're getting married.
He's getting married in June, right, is that this year,
a couple of months or is it a year from.

Speaker 5 (52:40):
I think it's this off season when they're getting June.

Speaker 3 (52:43):
Yeah, well you know you have the invite. Yeah, I wish.

Speaker 4 (52:45):
I don't think they're going to invite me, but there
he's going to get married, so he wants to make
this as an easy transition as possible, and that definitely
would be going back to Kansas City.

Speaker 5 (52:54):
There's two good points here. Off something you brought up
with your little fight you're already having into your a
new home, late night drug test rights, not getting a
word in with someone for twenty minutes, something I never
thought would happen with Arnie Spanier. Yeah, yeah, what was
up with that?

Speaker 4 (53:09):
He was just talking on the phone and talking on
the phone stopping, just non stop and telling me. I
don't even know what Dolly was telling me because I
was I was watching something and it was like on
a Friday afternoon at four thirty, and and then I
just laid into him afterwards. I'm like, are you serious, dude?
You're gonna call me up and not let me talk

(53:30):
like that?

Speaker 3 (53:30):
Are you insane? Something wrong with you?

Speaker 4 (53:33):
Geez? Curiously, I'm like, there's gotta be something wrong with you.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
Well, some of those HOA bosses, they have high opinions
of themselves, so it might.

Speaker 4 (53:47):
Obviously this guy does right off the bat, I could
see that.

Speaker 11 (53:51):
I'm chasing Arnie, didn't. You didn't really care, That's why
you let him talk for twenty minutes.

Speaker 4 (53:55):
No, I was was eating something and watching TV.

Speaker 5 (54:01):
Totally distracted.

Speaker 2 (54:03):
Jason wants to know if we need to hear more
about the y m C A fight you had a
basketball I miss that. I didn't see that you got
to fight on the basketball court.

Speaker 4 (54:11):
No, No, I didn't get a fight, just a little
argument about something.

Speaker 5 (54:15):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (54:15):
I hate that I had to put a video up
of this guy calling every every call. I'm like, every
moving screen and stuff, like.

Speaker 3 (54:23):
What are you doing moving?

Speaker 5 (54:25):
Moving a pickup game?

Speaker 3 (54:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (54:26):
By the way, one of our guys that we played
basketball with did something like remarkable in sports, so like
they wrote a whole big thinggu about it, like it
was something incredible.

Speaker 5 (54:37):
Well, what was it?

Speaker 3 (54:39):
I don't. I don't. It can't make sense of it.
I'm not. It wasn't it was in cricket or something
like that.

Speaker 4 (54:45):
What it was?

Speaker 5 (54:46):
He didn't follow up, you know, like.

Speaker 4 (54:49):
He I'll tell you what he did. He had a
breath taking one oh nine from one hundred and thirty
one balls.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
I don't know what that means, No, not at all. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (55:00):
See, I have no idea what it means. So and
then it goes on and says he he had another partner,
his second wicked partner.

Speaker 3 (55:07):
Uh, they won one ninety eight for five.

Speaker 5 (55:12):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 3 (55:13):
I don't know what it means.

Speaker 4 (55:14):
He but they said it's it's incredible what he is incredible,
And and he came up his fifty, came up in
seventy nine balls and his one hundred and one twenty three.

Speaker 5 (55:25):
Is that how it's supposed to be read? Is that
the proper ear?

Speaker 4 (55:28):
I'm reading the way they wrote.

Speaker 3 (55:29):
It to me. They wrote it in a thing on
Facebook like that.

Speaker 2 (55:32):
Brendan gets his back to the Raiders. He writes, the
Raiders aren't winning more than three games this year, even
with Mendoza and good free agents and a good draft.
All this taught me is if one were to look
in the ear of Davis, he can see out the
other ear. No Football IQ existed for twenty five years
prior to spite.

Speaker 4 (55:53):
Are we sure that Mendoza is gonna be a good quarterback,
and we just don't have.

Speaker 5 (55:57):
To because one choice, he has to be stopped.

Speaker 2 (56:00):
Just don't, don't, don't. Let's not do this. He has
no choice. My sanity kind of depends on it. He's
no wich Manning.

Speaker 5 (56:07):
I don't. I don't. He's better. I've spent fifty years
in this hell. All right.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
The last time they even like sniffed the Super Bowl,
they got boat raised. I need This isn't even a conversation.

Speaker 4 (56:19):
We don't even have hope for next year. You know that,
don't you either one of us? No, we have no
hope for next year.

Speaker 5 (56:25):
We can't do Scott.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
We need to find a new shift because we're gonna
be the most miserable people. Put us on the pregame show.
Can we do early saturdays? Let's do college football?

Speaker 4 (56:34):
You got ok?

Speaker 3 (56:35):
All my I got arizonta. I don't want to do
NFL anymore. I can't.

Speaker 5 (57:37):
Todd? How are you? Man?

Speaker 1 (57:39):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (57:39):
No, no, my bad? False start, false alarm hand up, Arnie.
I thought he was ready.

Speaker 5 (57:44):
Wait.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
Were you surprised by what the Raiders got for Max
Crosby or do you think they should have gotten more?

Speaker 4 (57:50):
No, I'm surprised they'd got the two first round picks.
I thought it was going to be a first of
the second. I didn't think anybody was gonna pull that up.
But like I always said, you know, the D picks
are worthless for the most part. I mean, you you're
striking you get your boy. Yeah, you're striking out more
than fifty percent of the time. So I trade them
away like they're nothing.

Speaker 3 (58:10):
They mean nothing to me.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
It's like I'm getting I'm allowing myself to get kind
of excited. Right, you're you're bringing in a franchise Well,
he's going to be the number one pick in the draft,
so you assume it's a franchise quarterback. But as Todd
Ferman joins us here on Fox Sports Radio, Todd, we'll
see if Mendoza gonna be a franchise quarterback even with
gent and Bauers. And now you're like, oh, it's the
offensive line going to be in place. Now you can't
stop anybody defensively. I don't know, man, two steps forward,

(58:35):
two steps back. What'd you make at the Crosby trade
for the Raiders this week?

Speaker 7 (58:39):
I think the Raiders when they were offered two first
round picks, even if they're going to be late in
the first round with something they had to consider. We
knew that Max Crosby had grown increasingly frustrated with the
front office, and even with the coaching change didn't really
factor into what this team wanted to be going forward,
and the Ravens apparently had the best offer in the market.
The Raiders will now complete the rebuilder I guess start

(58:59):
what should have and be gone a few years ago,
and they can head in a different direction, of course,
making the small trade today to bolster the secondary, getting
tarn Johnson from Buffalo. But no doubt we'll call it
year zero with a new head coach and the Raiders
hopefully put together a two to three year plan behind
a rookie quarterback in for Nana Mendoz as well Todd.

Speaker 4 (59:17):
I can't figure out who's worse, the Raiders or the Dolphins.
The Dolphins could be no Tua, could be no Wada
though eight Chen, I mean, my goodness, man, they just
made gout this whole team. Though they could really stock
up on first round draft picks, so they're in a
position to draft arch Banding for next year. Well, we'll see.

Speaker 7 (59:36):
I mean, the Dolphins play in a much more favorable division.
I think there's an easier path for them to get
to the top. I know that'll come as a bit
of a surprise for people to look at the Buffalo
Bills and the New England Patriots clearly thinking Miami is
third in the packing order because the Jets haven't been
able to get things together since the late nineteen sixties. Well,
we'll see how the first year head coaching Jeff Haffley
does there. I mean, this is a Dolphins team they

(59:57):
had to rip down to the studs. All account point
to them potentially looking to kind of create an extension
for Devin h And at this point, but no doubt
a team that doesn't have an optimistic outlook for the
twenty twenty sixth season going to be a multi year
rebuild there as well. So I'm not sure which of
those two franchises you kind of want to buy stocking.
Neither one of them will leave you for him with
a ton of confidence.

Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
Would you say none? Hey, do you like Kyler potentially
to Minnesota? What do you make of that fit? Does
it do much for you?

Speaker 7 (01:00:25):
I think it creates a little bit of an increased
battle in the quarterback room. If the Vikings aren't hell
bent on giving JJ McCarthy the ball and naming him
QB one immediately through OTAs and heading into camp. Then
it creates a little bit of a battle and you
have two guys, maybe Kyler Murray looking to try and
revitalize his career with, in my opinion, is one of
the best offensive minds in the game in Kevin O'Connell.

(01:00:47):
So if O'Connell can't fix Kyler Murray and all that's
ailed him during his time in Arizona, nobody will be
able to. So I think it's a low risk deal
for the Vikings that can create a quarterback battle and
make things all that more intriguing for a team that
was clearly held back by insufficient quarterback play this past season,
with a defense that trended in the right direction and
skill position players that give you a lot to be

(01:01:07):
optimistic about.

Speaker 4 (01:01:08):
Not any of you or your cohorts are waiting for
any of these eight or ten free agent or gettable
quarterbacks to sign so you could jump on an over
underseason win total or these guys, we don't make much
of a difference.

Speaker 7 (01:01:23):
Overall, most of the guys out there aren't going to
fundamentally change the outlook on any of the teams in question,
and when it comes to win totals, yes, there are
some that are available now, but we still don't know
the sequencing and the order of the schedule, which plays
a big role in terms of how you're trying to
calculate win probability for these teams and looking for some
of those edges. So unless odds makers are a game

(01:01:44):
and a half to two games off, and that rarely
happens in this day and age, as the betting markets
continue to get more efficient, no reason to kind of
jump into the unknown and tie up your money for
three hundred plus days until you have a better outlook
on exactly how these rosters will be constructed and how
these team schedules will look when that gets unveiled after
the draft, can.

Speaker 5 (01:02:03):
You do you look for value?

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
Does Todd Ferman maybe see a guy and if he
goes somewhere you think, oh, yeah, that's gonna really sway
my opinion or are you still kind of early in
that process.

Speaker 5 (01:02:15):
When it comes to a team you might like in
twenty six.

Speaker 7 (01:02:18):
I think there are always teams that you have your
eye on that you're trying to identify if they can
address some of their biggest deficiencies in the free agency
market or in the trade market. Clearly, the rams knew
that they didn't have a lockdown corner went out and
paid a premium to bring in Trent McDuffie, making him
the highest paid cornerback in the league. So I think
that definitely addressed a major need for them defensively. And

(01:02:38):
a team in the form of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Let's see what they elect to do at the backup
quarterback spot, because we're still not sure when Patrick Mahomes
will return to game action and do they have somebody
that can keep them at five hundred during the month
of September. If it takes Mahomes a little bit longer,
will the Houston Texans be out there and floating the
possibility of trading CJ. Stroud. So a lot of dominoes
still the fall, and you're constantly scouring the waiver wire,

(01:03:02):
so to speak, to see what's out there and how
you can get one step ahead of odds makers, even
if most of the betting markets pertaining to the NFL
season next year aren't widely available and have an open yet.

Speaker 4 (01:03:13):
All right, Todd, it's the best time to be out
in Vegas. It's Smart's badness. Miami of Ohio. If they
don't go undefeated, if they don't win their conference tournament,
do you still put them in?

Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
Do you get them in there? They're not even favored.

Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
I don't believe the win that I think Toledo is
favored to win the conference tournament or am I wrong
on that?

Speaker 7 (01:03:29):
You are not wrong on that. The fact that Miami
Ohio is in favors. You just got the team incorrect.
It's acron not to leave to win them In American
I think Miami of Ohio did enough going undefeated during
the regular season. It's something we don't see often in
college basketball. They're not going to be in debate for
a one seed or anything along those lines. But I
do think that Max suddenly has a pass to getting

(01:03:50):
two teams into the field of sixty eight. I mean,
you look at some of the more prominent bracketologists that
were keeping eyes on the teams that had to try
and win and bolster of their resume, and I believe
all nine of them that needed wins on Saturday all
ended up coming up on the wrong side of the equation.
And you look at a team like Auburn that has
been bandied about. I mean, look, this team is two
and eight in their last ten games. Stephen Pearl can

(01:04:11):
hang his hat on the fact that they may have
one of the best wins in the country over Florida,
but you still have to be other teams on your schedule.
One win doesn't trump a bevy of losses. And I
think this bubble is extremely weak. So if you're not
going to make a case for a team that ran
the table, even if it was a softer schedule than
what some of these mid majors play, what are we
doing for some of these non power conferences in terms

(01:04:32):
of ves playing out the regular season anyway?

Speaker 5 (01:04:33):
Past?

Speaker 4 (01:04:34):
What about the smaller conferences? There was four number one
seeds to go down, the Belmonts and Navies and schools
like that. But they're they're not going to take a
school like Belmont or anything like that.

Speaker 7 (01:04:44):
No, No, those schools haven't done enough. And I think
in the Missouri Valley, I know bell Mount was a
number one seed, but if you look at power profiles
more than Iowa was probably the best potential entrant from
that conference. So if you're looking for a team that
might be able to pull off an upset as a
thirteen or fourteen seeds. I think the way you and
I plays under Ben Jacobson is much more dynamic and
capable in that role than what Bellmont would have been

(01:05:05):
able to do. Getting Navy back to the tournament would
have been a phenomenal story. A team that went seventeen
and one in conference play. You know, unfortunately their clock
management left a little bit to be desired, and you
tip your hat to the terriers, you know, hitting a
shot from basically just inside.

Speaker 3 (01:05:19):
You start the clock on tar upset.

Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
They didn't start the clock on time when it was
when after the bucket to put them up by two,
the clock keeper waited about a second half the two
seconds before starting the clock.

Speaker 7 (01:05:31):
The shot, though bu takes still comes with a second
and a half left, I still think it would have
been closer to zero either way. You have to know
the game time and situation, and you can't give your
opponent an opportunity to even get off a last look.
So Nyve not being able to manage the clock in
the final ten seconds a little bit disappointing for what
was a phenomenal season for a program that hasn't experienced

(01:05:52):
a whole lot of tournament success or even invitations to
the tournament. Since the Admiral was there manning the middle.

Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
They fill the thought todd how much do you take
some conference tournaments? Do you buy much into them? A
lot of stock or.

Speaker 7 (01:06:03):
No, I don't think you put a ton of weight
into it. It's a lot on some of these teams
plates being asked to win three games in three days,
or in the case of some four games in five
or I guess what Georgia Southern's trying to do to
win six games in six days or something ridiculous as
they'll try and navigate through the Sun Belt and that
crazy conference tournament format. You just want to see teams

(01:06:24):
playing their best basketball. You hope that they can come
through these conference tournaments unscathed. And it gives some of
these teams on the bubble an opportunity to kind of
bolster their resume, to pick up one, two, maybe even
three wins, to get themselves in the Committee's good graces
as we'll head towards Sunday. But I think for all
intentsive purposes, we have a pretty good idea right now.
If who the number one seeds are going to be Yukon,

(01:06:44):
and my estimation plays themselves off of that one line,
and we're looking at Florida, Michigan, Duke, and Arizona. I
think anybody else getting into that one discussion would be
a surprise when the brackets are unveiled next Sunday.

Speaker 4 (01:06:57):
Todd Last thing WBC Mexicoe lively ownerdog against the US
plus three fifty three seventy five for tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (01:07:06):
Big prices across the board on a lot of these games, Arnie,
I know you will be glued to your TV, said
at six am Eastern for Korea in Australia, where Team
Korea is right around a three dollars favorite. In that
game you mentioned the price. Yeah, Team USA right around
minus four dollars. Mexico, of course, whitewashing Brazil earlier today,
winning that game sixteen to nothing as a one to

(01:07:26):
twenty five favorite. I'm not sure I'm gonna put Team
USA on upset alert, but you know who knows. Weirder
things have happened, and I will say the energy in
some of these buildings has been a lot better in
this edition of the WBC than what we've seen in
the past. And you'd love to see these fans getting
behind their national teams and some of the other venues,
whether it's the Tokyo Dome or being played down in
Puerto Rico, just the same as what we're seeing at

(01:07:49):
the two venues here in the States.

Speaker 5 (01:07:50):
I love you're the man though, thanks Tot, have a
great week, man, appreciate you always a pleasure.

Speaker 7 (01:07:54):
You guys do the same.

Speaker 5 (01:07:56):
That's Todd Furman.

Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
He Steve de Seger trending with what Gig a trending
update with everything that's going on in the world of sports.

Speaker 5 (01:08:03):
What's going on, Steve.

Speaker 10 (01:08:04):
We'll start with the NFL as The Rams gave new
defensive back Trent McDuffie a four year extension worth one
hundred million dollars guaranteed. The Chargers signed former Dolphins fullback
alec Ingold to a two year deal. Reports, the Broncos
are resigning backup quarterback Sam Ellinger to a one year extension,
and linebacker Eric Wilson and the Vikings have agreed to

(01:08:24):
terms on a three year deal worth twelve and a
half million, fully guaranteed, according to NFL media, Arizona resigned
kicker Chad Ryland. The Colts resigned kicker Blake Groupie. Cardinals
running back James Conner revised his contract to stay. The
NFL Network says the Vikings are favorite to sign quarterback
Kyler Murray this week, and yes, the NFL's free agent

(01:08:46):
negotiating window opens on Monday at noon Eastern. That USA
Baseball game Monday nights against Mexico. It's with Paul Skens
as the starting pitcher for the Americans. From the Pirates
Tuesday US against Italy to closed group play quarter final
next weekend. In the NBA's late game, it's a final
at Phoenix. The Sun's one eleven ninety nine over Charlotte,

(01:09:08):
thirty points for Devin Booker. At Sacramento, the King's gotta win.
That's that's news in and of itself. One twenty six
to one ten over Chicago. Russell Westbrook twenty three points,
eleven rebounds, twelve assists and no turnovers. Portland blew out Indiana,
which has lost nine in a row. New Orleans blew
out Washington, which has lost eight in I'm.

Speaker 3 (01:09:30):
Board with the NBA. Can we go through that point?

Speaker 10 (01:09:32):
We must have seen tonight's games.

Speaker 3 (01:09:35):
The Knicks Laker game bored me to tears.

Speaker 10 (01:09:37):
Toronto blew out Dallas, which has lost seven a row.
The Lakers played a game today, beat the next one
ten ninety seven. Lebron James was out again with injury.

Speaker 3 (01:09:46):
So much better Without Lebron, so much better.

Speaker 10 (01:09:48):
Luca dons it's thirty five points. Boston won at Cleveland
one oh nine ninety eight. Jason Tatum twenty points in
twenty seven minutes, and Kay Cunningham was back for Detroit
had twenty six points returning from the last week's Bruce Quad.
But at Miami, the heat beat. Detroit won twenty one
to one. Ten five straight wins for Miami. Men's college
basketball saw the regular season end with these games. Number

(01:10:11):
three Michigan beat Michigan State, Number nine Nebraski in overtime
beat Iowa, and number eleven Illinois won seventy eight seventy
two at Maryland. Ryan Blaney took the NASCAR race at Phoenix.
Christopher Bell finished second. He'd led the most laps today.
Tyler Reddick, who won the season's first three races, finished
in eighth place out of the thirty seven drivers. Twelve

(01:10:32):
cautions in this race, which ties a track record there,
and the Arnold Palmer Invitational in a playoff to Akshay
Batilla beating Daniel Berger. The difference in that one hole
was somewhat sizable in the winners check, because you see,
the winner got four million dollars for four days of golf.

Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
Dorlisser still know who Arnold Palmer is?

Speaker 8 (01:10:53):
Of course they should. Yeah, well maybe only for that,
but yes they should. Betilla with five shots back during
the final round on John Rahm took the live golf
event in Hong Kong by three strokes. Every live golf.

Speaker 10 (01:11:05):
Winner gets a cool four million dollars back to you all.

Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
I think Steve, he'll have more coming up here in
just a bit. Arnie, you want some tweets?

Speaker 4 (01:11:13):
Yeah, yeah, I don't. I'm not so sure when you said,
oh yeah, people, I think they just know him from
the iced tea. If you didn't have iced tea, you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
Don't think people know Arnold Palmer was a great golfer,
Hall of Fame golfer.

Speaker 11 (01:11:23):
Now you asography on the side of the can.

Speaker 4 (01:11:25):
If you ask people good point thirty and under if
they knew Arnold Palmer, if you didn't have the iced tea,
I bet you seventy percent.

Speaker 3 (01:11:35):
The idea who he is.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
You take the brand the tea out of it, then,
of course.

Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
But I've just been on his athletic ability.

Speaker 2 (01:11:43):
M We don't know much about our history anymore at
all period outside of what happened fifteen years ago. Whenever
it comes to sports, right, I mean, you try to
bring up Arnold Palmer, people like was he around the
Tiger Woods era? You know what's going on there? You
want some tweets, then I guess what's here for you?
Sorll Right, Michael, no hope at all for next football season.

(01:12:04):
Sounds like every year for the Cowboys. Dallas born and raised.
I just care about my happiness too much to be
a fan of a team run by an eighty three
year old egomaniac. And I'm thirty three, so never seen
them actually be good.

Speaker 4 (01:12:17):
Oh that's when very tough is they're used to it.
I'm I'm not used to the well, I should be
used to the Dolphins thinking. But I'm I've never gone
into a year where I'm like, it's it's hopeless. It's
not only we're not even gonna make a run of
the playoffs. We're just gonna stink this year.

Speaker 3 (01:12:33):
And it's horrible.

Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
It's a weird thing for me to accept. He just said,
I'm thirty three and I've never experienced the Cowboys winning
a Super Bowl. Me too, I mean nineteen ninety five.

Speaker 5 (01:12:44):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:12:45):
I had a friend of mine that was at an
event this weekend, at a state basketball tournament, and they said,
we're gonna welcome in the fifty year, celebrate the fiftieth
year of this program. And she's like, oh, when we're
like nineteen thirty, nineteen forty, it was like fineteen seventy five,
nineteen seventy six, It's like, whoa, you know those You
don't realize how long ago things happened.

Speaker 5 (01:13:07):
Nineteen ninety five.

Speaker 2 (01:13:09):
So holy smokes, Arnie, this is a hell of a
drought for a team that was a megapower in the nineties.
They were whole Togan and Randy Savage.

Speaker 5 (01:13:19):
To get it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:20):
The drought is over for me, big boy.

Speaker 5 (01:13:22):
I want you to know that. Wait, how oh, Arizona basketball.

Speaker 4 (01:13:25):
I've been waiting. You guys are good ninety seven for this,
and we're finally gonna go ahead and get a revenge
on the entire world when we take down everybody and
win the NCAA tournament this year. Just like I told
you we were gonna do it at the beginning of the year,
but you doubted me.

Speaker 3 (01:13:42):
Yeah, I doubt you me.

Speaker 5 (01:13:44):
I would win.

Speaker 4 (01:13:45):
The listeners I will laughed at me. You told me
I didn't know sports. People tweeted in that do you
even like sports?

Speaker 3 (01:13:52):
You don't even like.

Speaker 5 (01:13:53):
You did say that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
We asked if you like sports a lot, because you
seem to hate everything.

Speaker 5 (01:13:59):
But good luck. I hope you're right. Hey, here's luck.

Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
There's no good luck. I'll see you in the final four,
big boy.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
I hope So, Bob Wrights as a Browns fan, you
two can crime me a frickin' river. Any comment on
the Jalen Rose comment, Arnie, What did Jalen Rose say?

Speaker 4 (01:14:16):
He was saying, well, he was doing that the NFL
and NBA. He's comparing it to slavery because there's a
hard salary cap and he got political on it and
he said it was the only two sports that out
of salary cap and you know, and minimize what athletes
could make and stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (01:14:36):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
You know, ESPN's had a few issues with Jalen Rose before.
In twenty twenty, there was I mean that we're going
back six years ago and he was having a comment
about an officer involved event and had a cut away
from commercial when he was talking. So he's not afraid
to get petible.

Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
He's the only guy I know and look this up real,
go ahead, Sure, I'm talking about the right person. I
think it is the right person. Oh no, he got carjacked.
I believe in Brentwood, California. In Brentwood, do you understand,
like what Brentwood is. That's that's like being carjacked in

(01:15:19):
Beverly Hills or bell Air or something to that effect.
I just I've never heard of any crime in Brentwood before.

Speaker 3 (01:15:27):
I think it was him. You have to double check that.

Speaker 2 (01:15:29):
Well, I'll double check you during the break, because I
have one more tweet that I want to read to you.
By the way, I apologize to Jalen Rose if that
wasn't you already likes to shoot from the hip every
now and then we'll confirm it, JV. Draft picks are
only worthless if your team makes the wrong pick. Raiders
and Dolphins know that all too well. Well, I think
you guys have actually drafted okay, I mean ah, Jane

(01:15:51):
was a draft pick. Wattle was a draft pick. Bowers
and gent I think are going to be stars for
the Raiders. But it's when you have an established guy.
I mean, Mac Crosby is an established guy. He's an
all he's a pro bowler, he's one of the best
defensive players in the league. And when you pun on
that for two draft picks, sure, everyone's like, oh, what

(01:16:12):
great value. And I'm like, no, you had a guy
that was giving you what you're trying to draft to get.
Can we build around him a little bit? And I
guess either a he wasn't coming back, which is kind
of the vibe I've been getting from the reports, or
be the Raiders who's decided we needed to move on.

Speaker 5 (01:16:28):
We're gonna rebuild. It's just frustrating.

Speaker 4 (01:16:29):
By the way, I was right, a passenger and a
car driven bike, Yeah, look at you. Jalen Rose was
shot in the face during a cardjacking attempt.

Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
Rose was not heard. It was in Brentwood, California.

Speaker 4 (01:16:42):
I've never even seen somebody jaywalk in brett Woodgin. I
want you to know that we get.

Speaker 5 (01:16:49):
What you're selling already is vindicated.

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
All right, It's gonna break when we come back to
Saga with the segment next on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 6 (01:16:55):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
All Right, Fast Hour, Let's keep cooking Steve de Sega
with the this segment.

Speaker 5 (01:17:13):
What do we got, Steve?

Speaker 10 (01:17:14):
Well, as far as USA Baseball against Mexico tomorrow night
at the Houston Astros Park, it is sold out. The
only tickets available ninety dollars standing room only seats. As
we thought going into the tournament, this would be the
game to.

Speaker 4 (01:17:29):
Just sell out.

Speaker 10 (01:17:30):
Who wins by ground something? Yeah, Well, Tokyo Dome has
been getting forty two thousand for a sellout, so I
would guess in Houston at somewhere around there if you
know the configuration of it. With the training left. There's
not a lot of outfield seats in that place, and
of course there are almost no fifty thousand seat ballparks anymore.
But there will be three games on FS one from

(01:17:50):
the tournament tomorrow early morning, as Tod mentioned, South Korea
maybe eliminated tomorrow as they play Australia, and then at
noon Eastern from Miami it's Dominican Republic and that incredible
lineup going up against Israel. And then tomorrow night FS
one has Puerto Rico's home game against Cuba, which has
been good so far. It's Fox TV with US Mexico

(01:18:12):
from Houston eight pm Eastern time Tomorrow night and Paul
Skians and the Pirates will be the US starting pitcher
to the finale for the group for the US will
be on FS one Tuesday night against Italy. They'll also
have early Tuesday Japan's home game in Tokyo before they
come here to the States. Quarterfinals start this weekend. As

(01:18:32):
for the WBC Games, tonight, Mexico was a sixteen to
nothing winner over Brazil. They do have a mercy rule
in this tournament, so the game was stopped once they
got to that margin in the sixth inning. Alejandro Kirk
from Toronto's World Series appearance last year, a homer and
four RBIs for Mexico Tonight. Attendance was thirty six thousand.

(01:18:53):
For that game, Panama edged Canada four to three. Japan
early this morning held on to beat US Australia for
to three. The Red Sox Masataki Yoshida hit a two
run homer in the seventh, but the Aussies hit two
solo homers in the ninth to get close but fell short.
Japan three and ozho. So far, the lineup for the
Dominicans is superb. Four home runs. Today they won twelve

(01:19:15):
one over Netherlands. Among the home run hitters Juan Soto
and Vladimir Guerrero Junior. That game was shortened to seven innings.
The Americans had won their opener fifteen to five against
Brazil Friday night. Brazil's pitching staff walks seventeen and then Saturday,
Trek Skoubl, the Detroit Star pitcher, in his apparently one
start in this tournament, allowed a homer on the first

(01:19:36):
pitch that was crazy, and then more than shut them down.
After that. The US beat Great Britain nine to one.

Speaker 3 (01:19:42):
We should have won ninety to one.

Speaker 10 (01:19:43):
Yeah, you could say on both games they could have
scored more. Actually, so we'll see if they scored. Take
advantage of opportunities tomorrow to the NFL. Mike Florio Pro
Football Talk saying free agency essentially opens Monday noon Eastern time,
when teams can start reaching deals with four year vets
whose contracts are expiring but discussions have been happening, which means, quote,

(01:20:08):
the negotiating window is a formality, and it's led to
the widespread belief in league circles that once that window
opens Monday, Giants receiver Wandel Robinson will sign with the
Tennessee Titans, since former Giants head coach Brian Dable is
now the Titans offensive coordinator. Robinson just had his first
thousand yard season. The league's verbage is during this period,

(01:20:31):
starting Tomorrow Monday, twelve noon Eastern Time and going until
Wednesday afternoon. During this period, clubs can contact and start
negotiations with the agents of players who will be unrestricted
free agents this week. A prospective free agent who's not
represented by somebody who's a certified agent can actually communicate

(01:20:55):
directly with front offices themselves, not with coaching stats, but
with the front off But you can't execute the contract
itself with the new club until Wednesday, four pm Eastern time,
because that's when the NFL's new league year begins. That's
when the free agency signing period begins, and that's when
the trading period for twenty twenty six in the NFL

(01:21:17):
begins four pm Eastern on Wednesday, because that's when all
these contracts from last year officially expire. So all the
news you've been hearing the last week or two about
this trade is happening. This sighting is happening, and stuff
you're gonna hear in the next few days, none of
it is actually official until Wednesday. And amazingly, he writes
Florio that last year owners approved a rule allowing teams

(01:21:39):
to have direct contact with not agent, but up to
five in pending free agents. I guess this is a
one year only rule. So when we joked about you
can have that one call like from prison, maybe they
can actually talk to the guy. Starting tomorrow, we'll see.

Speaker 5 (01:21:52):
It's really about two days of content.

Speaker 2 (01:21:55):
We have the data, talk about the rumors, and then
we have the day to tell you then everything officially
had happen, dive into the legal tampering period all hour
next hour on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (01:22:06):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 5 (01:22:08):
All right, it's Arnie and Plank. Let's go.

Speaker 4 (01:22:11):
Let's you know, I may be a Bacheler for the
month of March. How great is that?

Speaker 3 (01:22:16):
The whole well for a lot of it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:18):
Yeah, do tell no my I told my wife, you know,
her sister's going back to Italy for a month, So
I'm like, go with her, go for like a couple
of weeks.

Speaker 5 (01:22:28):
We have a job.

Speaker 4 (01:22:31):
Yeah, yeah, she can take some time off. And then
I'm like, she's going to Scottsdale for about four or
five days to see her mom. That's coming up in
a couple of weeks. So I'm gonna be bacheering it.

Speaker 3 (01:22:42):
Is that a word? Bacheloring it? Uh?

Speaker 5 (01:22:45):
I think it is?

Speaker 3 (01:22:48):
Can you imagine? By myself?

Speaker 4 (01:22:50):
Just wants Oh that's a great idea.

Speaker 5 (01:22:54):
I mean, what else you got going on? You can
do the show from there.

Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
I got nothing going on.

Speaker 5 (01:23:00):
Let's go can it? Why not?

Speaker 3 (01:23:05):
Does Atlantic City they have sports betting?

Speaker 5 (01:23:08):
Well, you're I mean you're the pros me.

Speaker 4 (01:23:11):
I don't know, but I could do it on the
app anyway, So what difference does it make?

Speaker 10 (01:23:16):
Wait a minute, hold on.

Speaker 5 (01:23:18):
This is one of our greatest fights.

Speaker 2 (01:23:20):
Whenever I try to tell you, hey, Arnie, you don't
have to go anywhere to bet, yeah, and you'll get
bad to me.

Speaker 4 (01:23:26):
March madness, Yeah, march bad people in Vegas. Even Todd
Furman will tell you it's all about going to Vegas.

Speaker 3 (01:23:32):
Charge maddeness, being with the with the.

Speaker 4 (01:23:34):
Crowd and all that. You go doing the squares? Are
we gonna do squares this year or what?

Speaker 5 (01:23:39):
I don't know. Have we ever done squares before?

Speaker 3 (01:23:42):
We should do it?

Speaker 5 (01:23:43):
I feel can we legally do it now?

Speaker 2 (01:23:45):
Scott run this up Fox Sports Legals Flagpole tomorrow morning.
Arnie wants to do squares during the NCAA tournament coming up.
And are you excited to get your bracket filled out
next Sunday on the show because you can cop off
mine if you want.

Speaker 5 (01:24:01):
You know, is the two time to finish?

Speaker 4 (01:24:02):
You are the two touch up? You know you're gonna
think I'm nuts about this? God had I had a
little anxiety because I moved into my new house and
my printer isn't hooked up, and I'm like, what am
I gonna do next Sunday? If I can't print the
you know the format and do my picks and take
a picture of it and put it on Twitter, I'm
not gonna have it up on Sunday.

Speaker 5 (01:24:21):
So here for it. I'm here for it.

Speaker 4 (01:24:23):
I gotta make sure somebody sends me a well they can't,
I gotta put my my.

Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
You're gonna go to quick copy or you're gonna go
to I don't even know what what even our places
where you could.

Speaker 11 (01:24:33):
Go to the library.

Speaker 3 (01:24:37):
Library not open on Sunday night.

Speaker 11 (01:24:39):
Why don't you go to office depot or something.

Speaker 3 (01:24:42):
I guess I'm gonna have to.

Speaker 2 (01:24:43):
Yeah, he's gonna be yelling at some poor high school
kid that's working the counter. No, no, no, I don't
want the ESPN want I want the Fox Sports, the
one that's turned sideways.

Speaker 3 (01:24:56):
I don't like this.

Speaker 11 (01:24:57):
Just know you're gonna go borral on TikTok.

Speaker 5 (01:24:58):
By the way, oh he will absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:25:00):
Okay, Let I have a Roman numeral I added tonight, Arnie,
Roman numeral eighteen.

Speaker 5 (01:25:07):
Do you know what Roman numeral eighteen is?

Speaker 8 (01:25:09):
Tonight?

Speaker 4 (01:25:09):
I'm gonna have to turn them because first of all,
I have no Well did.

Speaker 5 (01:25:13):
You add an eighteenth or not?

Speaker 4 (01:25:15):
Well?

Speaker 3 (01:25:15):
I added Travis Kelsey as the eighteenth?

Speaker 5 (01:25:16):
But go ahead it okay? Well roman numeral nineteen.

Speaker 3 (01:25:19):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
Did you see one of your favorite I guess theories
played out last night? In college baseball? You always talk
about games where there's a call that affects the end
and just going back and having to replay it, and
you'll point out like one NBA game with Shack from
early two thousand.

Speaker 5 (01:25:37):
They had it happened in baseball last night.

Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
I didn't see that.

Speaker 2 (01:25:40):
Well it was it was sun Belt, so you probably
missed it. But they literally appeal a call. Afterwards they
realized the rules were improperly put in place in forced
and thank you because of a review that they did
which allowed the team to win.

Speaker 5 (01:25:58):
So they're going to replay the game, starting it all over.

Speaker 4 (01:26:01):
Get outa here.

Speaker 2 (01:26:02):
Yeah I did not. I was thinking of you. I
was thinking of you when I saw it the whole way.
But isn't that your ultimate thing?

Speaker 5 (01:26:10):
It is, don't you?

Speaker 4 (01:26:11):
Well, I was gonna when I was telling Toddy Todd
is exactly right what he said. There was a second
and a half left on the clock. Otherwise there could
have been a chance that they would have overturned that
game because that that clock was a good two seconds
of one and a half to two seconds behind starting
and that was their home court.

Speaker 3 (01:26:29):
So they're probably gonna make a big deal of it.

Speaker 4 (01:26:31):
But yeah, you wonder why that doesn't happen more where
you catch a mistake and saying, you know what, you
don't deserve that bucket, or you don't deserve that touchdown
game over other team wins.

Speaker 3 (01:26:40):
But we don't see that much at all.

Speaker 5 (01:26:43):
So hand up Southland Conference?

Speaker 3 (01:26:46):
What did I say?

Speaker 5 (01:26:47):
Did I say? The macis Southland Conference?

Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
Right, and it was stemming from a play that took
place in the first inning of the game.

Speaker 3 (01:26:55):
Get outa here.

Speaker 2 (01:26:57):
I'll just read this real quick. Following your rear view
of the rules protests admitted by Texas A and M
Corpus Christie regarding the March sixth the baseball game against Nichols,
the Southland Conference is coordinating with the conferences coordinators of
officials and acam blah blah blah that the game was
incorrectly an NCAA playing rule was incorrectly applied during the contest.

Speaker 5 (01:27:23):
Thus they're going to have to restart the whole game.

Speaker 3 (01:27:25):
No, I would say, too bad at that point, forget
about it.

Speaker 2 (01:27:28):
At the bottom of the first inning, a batter for
a M. Corpus Christie was ruled to have been hit
by a pitch an awarded first base. Following a challenge,
they conducted the review and a crew rule that the
batter was hit by the pitch and it ended up
as a dead ball strike. So you changed the whole
game I guess, but you cannot review a play that's

(01:27:49):
not reviewable. And when they did that, it made everything
else in the game I guess irrelevant.

Speaker 5 (01:27:56):
So they're going to replay the game started all over.
Look at that. That's like your dream come true for
a game right there.

Speaker 4 (01:28:01):
Yeah, I don't think I would have done it on
that part. If it affects the end.

Speaker 5 (01:28:04):
You don't think it was hit by pitch in the
first inning that should have affected.

Speaker 4 (01:28:07):
No, Yeah, yeah, forget about it. Whatever happens after that happens.
Yet you had the whole game after that. If it
was you know, shock filed out of a game.

Speaker 5 (01:28:15):
That was that was the game with what was that
the heat?

Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
Yeah, that was and he had he only had five fouls.
So that's why they replayed it from that point on.

Speaker 3 (01:28:25):
That's why they did that.

Speaker 4 (01:28:26):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:28:26):
And then one other note that I was gonna add
to the rum and numeral rundown here tonight. And we
talked about it a little bit earlier. You're saying you're
not all in on conference championship week. I'm a little
bit shocked by this. I thought you would love it
because everybody's involved, No, not just sixty eight teams, it's everybody.

Speaker 4 (01:28:42):
I'm looking at the big prize right now, and that's
what in the NCAA tournament, I really could care less.
I know, the big It's gonna be fun to watch.
I mean the ACC and Duke and we'll see if
Michigan wins the Big ten, Arizona win the Big twelve,
and we'll see a Ford against the ACC and there'll
be some good games and obviously some close games. But

(01:29:03):
it's all about the NCAA Tournament right now, and that's
what we got our eye on.

Speaker 3 (01:29:07):
The Arizona's gotta win it. I mean, look at the
last couple of years.

Speaker 4 (01:29:11):
Last year losing the Clemson by like sixteen points, that
was just murderous having to sit through that. Can't In
the year before that, we go off to Princeton in
the first round.

Speaker 2 (01:29:20):
Remember that game, Yes, Princeton, Yes, you bet your job
on it. Do I remember it? You should have been fired.

Speaker 3 (01:29:29):
I was like, we don't lose the schools like Princeton.

Speaker 2 (01:29:31):
I'll bet my job. Oh no, I'm sorry, I'll quit
my job if we lose.

Speaker 5 (01:29:37):
You lost.

Speaker 2 (01:29:38):
Yeah, congratulations to Tennessee State, High Point Northern Iowa out
of the mo Valley North Dakota State, Southern University, and Queens.

Speaker 5 (01:29:49):
You hear Queens, and do you think what New York?

Speaker 6 (01:29:51):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:29:51):
No, No, it's in Charlotte, North Carolina. But Iowa learned that
the last couple of days.

Speaker 3 (01:29:56):
I thought it was Queens, New York.

Speaker 4 (01:29:58):
I got to watch Queens and see, yeah they do
maybe they get in.

Speaker 3 (01:30:01):
But then I'm like, wait a minute, why are they
playing in the South Conference? What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:30:05):
Why are they not in the Northeast or something like that?

Speaker 5 (01:30:08):
And I'm not getting fulled here right.

Speaker 2 (01:30:09):
This is a game that's just wrapping up between Santa
Clair and Pacific.

Speaker 3 (01:30:13):
Yeah, yeah, okay, cool.

Speaker 4 (01:30:15):
Santa Clair is up by nine right now, and I
think this is the It's only a quarterfinal games.

Speaker 2 (01:30:20):
Right, Okay, so we won't have any court stormings as
soon as nobody's saying four.

Speaker 4 (01:30:25):
Number one seeds lost in the smaller conferences like the
Atlantic Sun.

Speaker 3 (01:30:28):
And like Bellmont.

Speaker 4 (01:30:30):
As we told you, Navy, all number one seeds that lost.

Speaker 2 (01:30:34):
Are you a believer in Miami of Ohio getting in
if they don't win their conference?

Speaker 4 (01:30:38):
You know, I have to catch twenty two on this one. Yes,
I think they're going to get in. Okay, if they
don't win the Conference Tournament two. I think they deserve
to get in. If they don't win the Conference Tournament one,
they have no Quad one or Quad two victories, but
the record speaks for itself, and when you put up

(01:30:59):
those type numbers, I think you got to go with it.
But the third thing I wanted to say, Chris is
I don't want them to make it. I used to
want them to make it. I used to want them
to make it to prove that you know that they're
just going to get eliminated in the first game they played.

Speaker 3 (01:31:15):
But I think I don't want them to make it now.

Speaker 4 (01:31:17):
Because did you see the last game they played, the
one they won by two points?

Speaker 3 (01:31:21):
I think I think it was.

Speaker 5 (01:31:22):
The great game.

Speaker 3 (01:31:25):
Did you see what they did after the game?

Speaker 6 (01:31:27):
Know what?

Speaker 4 (01:31:29):
They started giving the finger to the fans. It was
on the road and one guy mouth blank you blank something.
You know these words I can't use. I go, wow,
look at the attitude on these guys. Now, I hope
you don't make it now. I hope you lose a
game and see what it feels like. You know, given

(01:31:49):
an attitude like.

Speaker 5 (01:31:50):
That, I thought you would like that.

Speaker 3 (01:31:52):
Now they're given the finger man.

Speaker 4 (01:31:54):
They look at somebody from the crowd didn't jump out
and kick their butt. God, so you know that happened
yesterday somebody, a guy in the crowd picked up a
chair and threatened the visiting team with the chair.

Speaker 5 (01:32:07):
Oh I saw that, you tap, I saw that, dude.
That guy was fired. Did you retweet that it was
that you or no?

Speaker 3 (01:32:14):
I'm not sure if I did or not. I don't remember.

Speaker 2 (01:32:15):
I laughed so hard that guy. Did you watch the video?
Did you really Zapruder film it or no?

Speaker 5 (01:32:21):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:32:22):
I just saw I saw the video. Go watch it.

Speaker 2 (01:32:25):
He starts getting into it and he has that chair
and he's ready to go, and someone's kind of trying
to stop him, and then all of a sudden, that
person is on his side or something.

Speaker 5 (01:32:35):
I don't know. He was sitting right behind the bench.
That was crazy. You know what. Now, during this next break,
I'm gonna go watch that video again.

Speaker 3 (01:32:42):
By the way, we do have to give a shout
out to Doug Gottlieb. Had a great year.

Speaker 4 (01:32:46):
They lost today by twenty him and the fighting Gottleaves.
They had a good year, eighteen wins up there in
Green Bay. I hope they get to make a Is
there an N and other smaller?

Speaker 2 (01:33:00):
Oh yeah, well they've gotten not only the N. I
t you might have a chance for the what's the
one crown? And there's the crown now that they have
to I.

Speaker 3 (01:33:08):
Don't know what's the one that we're doing in Vegas?
Are we doing the Crown?

Speaker 5 (01:33:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:33:11):
Okay, there you go.

Speaker 2 (01:33:12):
Yeah, I don't worry, man, I had to google it
up last week. That just wasn't off the top of
my head.

Speaker 3 (01:33:17):
I think that should be their nickname, The Fighting Got Leaves.

Speaker 5 (01:33:20):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (01:33:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:33:21):
Hey, he did a great job, man, I'm not just
saying that.

Speaker 3 (01:33:23):
Phenomenal.

Speaker 5 (01:33:24):
He's one of our Fox Sports guys.

Speaker 2 (01:33:26):
But you know, I covered Doug whenever he played at
Oklahoma State, worked with him in the media. I'm not
with him, but we were in the media here in
Oklahoma together, and everyone always wanted him to be the
head coach at Oklahoma State, right, I mean, and I
still think there's a lot of people that want him
eventually to be the guy at GI at Gallagher IB Arena.

Speaker 5 (01:33:44):
And he did a great job this year, and.

Speaker 3 (01:33:46):
It was a phenomenal job.

Speaker 4 (01:33:47):
Was concerning after year one he was doing the radio
show halfway through the year. This is gonna be the
first year he'll get to concentrate solely on the team
work on recruiting. So I'm looking for bigger things next year.
This is is a exciting to watch what he's done
up there.

Speaker 2 (01:34:02):
He's done a really good job. Okay, you want a
couple of tweets before we get a break?

Speaker 4 (01:34:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:34:05):
Absolutely, Yeah, absolutely, Eric.

Speaker 2 (01:34:07):
I might be wrong, but I want nothing to do
with Kyler. I take Aaron Rodgers or Kirk Cousins first.
You're buying that?

Speaker 3 (01:34:18):
Is he a fan of what team? When they when
he's a vikingsand and he.

Speaker 4 (01:34:22):
Wants nothing after some of the quarterbacks they've had.

Speaker 5 (01:34:25):
Sorry nothing, Eric, the vikingsand Sorry.

Speaker 4 (01:34:28):
Yeah, well he wants nothing to do with Kyler out
of all the ten that we mentioned or the eleven.

Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
If you're throwing.

Speaker 4 (01:34:34):
Gino, yeah, I couldn't imagine anybody on that list you'd
rather have than Kyler Murray.

Speaker 3 (01:34:40):
To be honest with.

Speaker 5 (01:34:41):
You, I'm with you. I like it a lot. Now again,
I'm a bit of a homer.

Speaker 4 (01:34:45):
I wish Miami could get him.

Speaker 5 (01:34:49):
Well, that would mean you're serious on the season, doesn't It.

Speaker 4 (01:34:52):
Can't Miami just trade to it for Murray and somehow
make that work money wise or no.

Speaker 3 (01:34:57):
No, I'm serious, Kame, I think.

Speaker 2 (01:34:58):
No, I'm not laughing at I'm laughing with you because
why couldn't you make it work.

Speaker 3 (01:35:02):
I have no idea.

Speaker 4 (01:35:03):
I have no idea why that wouldn't work out financially.
But somebody's gonna tell me, oh, Section seven, Rule five
says you can't do that. I don't know why, because
both are you know, gonna eat their contracts. I guess
both teams Miami and Arizona. Both quarterbacks are going to
be gone, Both are serviceable, Both are will be one

(01:35:24):
and two on the list of possible quarterbacks to pick up.

Speaker 3 (01:35:27):
I don't know why you wouldn't even make that move.

Speaker 2 (01:35:30):
He also adds I was at the Final four in
Indianapolis when the Mildcats won the title. My Golden Gophers
were there, but also weren't there according to the NCAA
super fun experience.

Speaker 4 (01:35:42):
I think Oklahoma State was the other team there with
big country reeves. Now was Seattle, right, No, that was
Indianapolis because.

Speaker 2 (01:35:52):
The only reason I remember that is Oklahoma State was
there when they had one of their guys that knocked
his teeth out, so they called it youruthless in Seattle.

Speaker 3 (01:36:01):
No, no, no, this one I think you're talking to.
One in Indianapolis. Was Minnesota?

Speaker 5 (01:36:07):
Well, you guys won it. I hope you would. You
would remember.

Speaker 4 (01:36:10):
Oh that doesn't mean I remember, you know, I was there.
I don't remember, to be honest with you. What year
ninety seven?

Speaker 5 (01:36:19):
Nineteen ninety seven final four? Yea? Now what was your
guess again?

Speaker 3 (01:36:23):
Oklahoma State? Right? Minnesota okay, Arizona okay.

Speaker 5 (01:36:29):
And Duke right, that's what you remember?

Speaker 3 (01:36:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:36:32):
It was North Carolina, Arizona, Minnesota and Kentucky.

Speaker 3 (01:36:38):
Why was I thinking the other schools? What the heck
was I thinking about?

Speaker 5 (01:36:46):
I mean, it's your team won the title and it's
the fun.

Speaker 3 (01:36:49):
To Kentucky in overtime. Yeah, I'm scoring a bucket.

Speaker 4 (01:36:52):
Okay, I'm talking about another year we didn't score a
bucket in overtime.

Speaker 3 (01:36:56):
It was all.

Speaker 10 (01:36:57):
Correct about Oklahoma State. That was two years before when
UCLA won it, and Big Country I believe was semi
final upon.

Speaker 3 (01:37:04):
So Arizona wasn't in that final four?

Speaker 10 (01:37:06):
No. Ninety seven was Arizona? Remember they beat the one seeds.

Speaker 3 (01:37:09):
And there was a three number one s and it was.

Speaker 10 (01:37:11):
All one seeds in the final four except Arizona.

Speaker 3 (01:37:15):
Yeah, it was a.

Speaker 2 (01:37:15):
Wild that's that's back when we knew our starters year
after year of college basketball.

Speaker 5 (01:37:21):
It was an amazing time.

Speaker 10 (01:37:22):
I remember out loud, Minnesota made the Final four?

Speaker 5 (01:37:26):
How Minnesota?

Speaker 10 (01:37:27):
Possibly? I wonder if there were any Shenanigans perhaps going
on that Minnesota made a Final four. Duke wasn't back
to the Final four until Elton brand a couple of
years after that.

Speaker 5 (01:37:38):
Good guess though, Yeah that was Jason. I think it
was Jon.

Speaker 3 (01:37:43):
My middle names out Google for crying out loud.

Speaker 5 (01:37:45):
Now you got to remember this stuff, Arnie.

Speaker 2 (01:37:47):
I mean, I remember that UCLA team with Tys Edney
at O'Bannon. Did they have yet? Had they got to
the point where Toby Bailey was on the roster? My gosh,
they were so good. Cameron Dollar, Camra Dollar, Oh goodness,
I love those Ucla and uh and of course ed
Obanna had to go ruin college sports. But still anyway, yeah,

(01:38:09):
good memory, Arnie, thank you.

Speaker 10 (01:38:11):
He ruined college sports like the Dodgers are ruining baseball.
That's right, it's not.

Speaker 2 (01:38:16):
Let's get a break when we come back here on
Fox Sports Radio, We'll get more of your tweets. Arnie's
picks are coming up, so stick around right here on
a busy Sunday night with Arnie and Plank on Fox.

Speaker 2 (01:38:36):
Final update tonight from the Sega coming up in merror moments,
It's Arnie and Plank on Fox Sports Radio. You feel
like I'm missing anything here on the Roman New World
rundown that you want to talk about?

Speaker 4 (01:38:48):
Right? I saw that Jay Williams and Jay Billis at
Arizona was the most.

Speaker 3 (01:38:51):
Vulnerable of all vulnerable and vulnerable.

Speaker 4 (01:38:54):
Yeah, close enough to say that, But you know what's
you know, it's crazy. There's a good force super teams
with Florida yukon Arizona Duke throwing Michigan.

Speaker 3 (01:39:05):
Five super teams agree that not only could win it,
but are just really excellent.

Speaker 5 (01:39:12):
So I could not agree more. Figure was out. Are
you excited? You should be pumped? Are you nervous?

Speaker 4 (01:39:19):
I'm nervous. I'm nervous. I want this so bad. I've
waited so long for this. I I mean, after the
last three years and it's it's just been horrible. It's
these these losses. But we have such a good team
this year. I mean, my goodness, man, let's let's get
it done this year finally, you know, because the Dolphins
aren't getting it done. I can't trust my meds and

(01:39:40):
I'm starting out my New York Knicks a.

Speaker 3 (01:39:42):
Little bit, to be honest. After today's game, I mean, but.

Speaker 4 (01:39:51):
Go to games in La Sock, I mean, where was
the crowd, you know, where was the excitement La Nicks, Lakers?

Speaker 3 (01:39:59):
Where was the you know, the pageantry? I had nothing today.

Speaker 2 (01:40:02):
You know, the one hundred best players according to USA
Today and free agency? Are you intrigued by this at
all or not? Because the number one player is a sinner?
You have no desire for any Tyler Lindenbaum talk to you.

Speaker 3 (01:40:17):
No, not really.

Speaker 4 (01:40:18):
But I'm more of it, Like I said, you know,
more of the flash, the quarterbacks, running backs. Uh you
know who these are free agents you're talking about. That's true, correct, Right,
There's a lot of people that could be traded.

Speaker 3 (01:40:31):
I'm shocked to hear some of the names that are
available out there.

Speaker 2 (01:40:34):
Okay, George Pickens. Would you want him on your team?
Do you think he's going to be a valued commodity?
Know that he's been tagged, but the Cowboys, it's still
you can make an offer if you want them.

Speaker 4 (01:40:45):
To IM I want him if I'm the Cowboys, I'm
not so sure I want him if I'm another team,
if we've got to give him a three or four
year contract extension.

Speaker 3 (01:40:55):
If that's what you're telling me.

Speaker 5 (01:40:56):
Trey Hendrickson, do anything for you?

Speaker 4 (01:40:58):
Yeah, I think flash, I think I do like him.
I think the Cowboys are going to get him. Boy,
did the Bengals just screw that up?

Speaker 3 (01:41:08):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:41:09):
I mean they're gonna get nothing for him. Couldn't they
have got They could have gotten the first round draft
pick for that guy.

Speaker 3 (01:41:15):
I don't know if they.

Speaker 2 (01:41:15):
Would have got it first. I mean they put him
on the block, they made him available.

Speaker 3 (01:41:21):
They didn't trade him, though they're allowed.

Speaker 5 (01:41:23):
I don't think they got I don't think they got
a first round offer.

Speaker 3 (01:41:26):
Well that was a mistake by a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (01:41:29):
Well would you go get him though, if you need
an edge rusher? I would yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:41:33):
Well how much money? Well, that doesn't make a difference
about how much I'm gonna have to pay him.

Speaker 3 (01:41:36):
Yes, I would go get him.

Speaker 5 (01:41:38):
Jalen Phillips do anything for you?

Speaker 3 (01:41:41):
How much? Again? You know how much money am I
gonna pay? And I think.

Speaker 5 (01:41:46):
I need to bring up a quarterback's name to get
you excited. Excited? Here, okay, Malik Willis, what are you
staying with money?

Speaker 3 (01:41:52):
He doesn't get me excited either. I don't want to
give him the money.

Speaker 4 (01:41:55):
What do I gotta give him, like a four year
extension and the big money and for a guy that
really hasn't proven you could put up big numbers.

Speaker 3 (01:42:02):
No, I'm not. I'm not excited about him either.

Speaker 2 (01:42:05):
Kyle Pitts, though, I don't think he's gonna end up
hit hitting the mark. Excuse me, uh, Kyle Pitts if
he's available? Yeah, but what about what a guy?

Speaker 3 (01:42:13):
That guy was supposed to be a stud, wasn't he
or what?

Speaker 5 (01:42:16):
Oh? Yeah, I mean his career. I think he has been.

Speaker 3 (01:42:21):
No, not like I thought.

Speaker 4 (01:42:22):
He think it was gonna be like the best tight
end in the history of football.

Speaker 2 (01:42:25):
Highest drafted tight end ever, number four overall pick in
twenty twenty one.

Speaker 4 (01:42:30):
But you know, we'll see you know you're talking Kellen
Winslow junior type guy.

Speaker 3 (01:42:35):
You're talking did good type to the tight end?

Speaker 5 (01:42:39):
Did you say Kellen Winslow junior?

Speaker 3 (01:42:41):
Yeah? Wasn't he a tight end?

Speaker 4 (01:42:42):
He was?

Speaker 5 (01:42:43):
But I don't think things ended so well. All right,
one morel Pierce.

Speaker 2 (01:42:49):
You might have been senior there. Yeah, all right, Alec Pierce.
Does he do much for you? Forty seven catches, thousand yards?

Speaker 4 (01:42:56):
Yes, but he's coming with a big price tag on
that one. Also, I don't think I'm gonna give him
that price tag. But I sure like him. I want
him on my team. I just can't go ahead and
give him the money that he wants.

Speaker 2 (01:43:07):
My favorite guy in this free agent class is Devin Lloyd.
So it's a linebacker. So Artie doesn't care about him,
but Devin Lloyd keep an eye on him. You got
anyone else other than the quarterbacks you care about? What
about Kenneth Walker? Will he get paid?

Speaker 3 (01:43:20):
You know?

Speaker 4 (01:43:21):
That's an intriguing one because he's certainly worth it. I
don't know how much I'm going to have to give him,
but I'm very intrigued about picking him up.

Speaker 3 (01:43:28):
Now.

Speaker 4 (01:43:28):
If there's other running backs that are there for the taking,
I'm certainly going to take a look. At it, but
I'm very intrigued with him. I like him a lot
one more. Mike Evans. I think he's washed. I think
he's done. Yeah, why you ready to go? Get open
up the bank for him for another another two more years.

Speaker 2 (01:43:49):
I take a two year flyer on him at thirty three.
I mean, the price has got to be right. But
he's still a baller man.

Speaker 3 (01:43:56):
How much does that cost? At thirty three years old?

Speaker 2 (01:44:00):
It's still steep, it's still but I would take him
over like a Romeo Dobbs or someone like that. He
was younger.

Speaker 3 (01:44:08):
Who did I see.

Speaker 4 (01:44:09):
That the Bills were looking after they get themselves a
wide receiver.

Speaker 5 (01:44:13):
There's options, there's options out there everywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:44:16):
They were looking. I mean, they certainly need a wide
receiver badly too. I forget where they were looking at.

Speaker 5 (01:44:22):
Feel like they've they've needed a receiver for like five years.

Speaker 4 (01:44:25):
I know that they should be ashamed of themselves being
so close. Uh with the team they've had, and all
they've needed was that that one missing piece.

Speaker 2 (01:44:35):
They were never able to get all right, one final time? Tonight,
here he comes. Steve de seger is in the house.

Speaker 10 (01:44:41):
What's up, Steve or Kean Coleman should be ashamed of himself.
Does this have anything to fit? Yeah, if they did
get DJ Moore right, Oh, you.

Speaker 5 (01:44:53):
Know he's not they they got him in the trade
of the Bears. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:44:56):
Technically, you know, deals, as I mentioned, don't go through this.
But yeah, so they say the Rams gave their new
defensive back Trent McDuffie a four year extension. I guess
he's technically not there so he technically haven't give him
an extension. But that'll all be official with mcduffin record, Yeah,
mister dolphin with record guaranteed money reportedly one hundred million dollars.

(01:45:19):
The NFL's free agent negotiating window opens on Monday. Once
Arizona cuts quarterback Kyler Murray. NFL Network says the Vikings
are favored to sign him. Cards running back James Connor
revised his contract to stay. Former Miami fullback alec Ingold,
a former Raider, as I recall, goes to the Chargers.
Las Vegas acquired defensive back tarn Johnson from Buffalo. Arizona

(01:45:41):
resigned kicker Chad Ryland, and the Colts resigned kicker Blake Groupie.
It is well March madness upon US because half the
women's tournaments have already got on this past week and
the men's tournaments have already started and the regular season
ended for the men today, can I mention there are
two women's games of note. Tomorrow night won the Metro
Atlantic Final has number twenty five ranked Fairfield of Connecticut

(01:46:05):
against Quinnipiac of Connecticut.

Speaker 4 (01:46:07):
Oh I'll go to the game and each.

Speaker 10 (01:46:09):
Team is twenty one to one in conference, with the
one loss being against each other. Also in Connecticut is
the Big East Final with number one Connecticut going for
win number fifty overall facing Villanova. In fact, if they
win tomorrow, Yukon against Big East teams will have won

(01:46:29):
seventy straight games. As for the men, number three Michigan
defeated number eight Michigan States ninth ranked Nebraski in overtime
beat Iowa. Eleventh ranked Illinois won seventy eight seventy two
at Maryland. These are the men's teams that have won
conference tournament so far that have gotten to the dance.
Northern Iowa today won the Missouri Valley beat Illinois Chicago.

(01:46:51):
Northern Iowa's won five games in a row after a
ten to nine record in Conference. But in the final
today Northern Iowa shot sixty three percent from the floor.
North Dakota State beat North Dakota in South Dakota Tonight's
to win the Summit League. Queens in overtime took the
Atlantic Sun in its first year of eligibility for the NCAA.

Speaker 4 (01:47:12):
And last year too.

Speaker 10 (01:47:14):
What do you mean last year?

Speaker 4 (01:47:15):
They're not going to be around next year because they're
going to merge with Elon.

Speaker 10 (01:47:21):
College, which is not in Queens.

Speaker 4 (01:47:25):
Which is which is not in it's a little bit
away from where they are now. Yeah, they're going to
be one major college. It's it's going to be Elon College.
So there's not going to be.

Speaker 10 (01:47:35):
A name will not okay, I see. And as far
as not eligible, you may know, there's a transition period
to become full Division one and eligible for the big
money of March Madness. Long Island last night earned an
NCAA bid from the Northeast Conference just by getting to
the final in their league because their opponent in the
final is eligible. That is correct, By the.

Speaker 4 (01:47:59):
Way, before didn't they would like Richie Park remember him?
That guy was like a stud.

Speaker 5 (01:48:04):
He was amazing guy.

Speaker 2 (01:48:06):
Thought Arney, can we allegedly or was he about Okay.

Speaker 10 (01:48:13):
Thank you Rhode Island. I remember then we can talk NCAAs.
By the way, the queen's win was against Central Arkansas
who had a player in defeat score forty nine points
and he's a senior Cameron Hunter. Congratulations. Big South winner
high point thirty and four when eighteen and one in conference,
defeated Winthrop and the Ohio Valley championship game yesterday to

(01:48:34):
Tennessee State. As Arnie's mentioned, Boston University still alive, winning
a Patriot League semi on a three pointer at the
buzzer at first place Navy, which had won fourteenth straight
seventy three seventy two to the final. Wednesday's Champion Wednesdays
the championship in that league against Lehigh selection Sunday for
the NCAA Tournament next Sunday. Georgia Tech fired hoops coach

(01:48:57):
Damon Stodamayer after three seasons there. They just low twelve
straight to end the year women's coops. The conference finals
included Texas beating South Carolina seventy eight sixty one, both
ranked in the top five Top ten, matchup in the
Big Ten UCLA ninety six forty five over Iowa Duke

(01:49:17):
in overtime beat Louisville, West Virginia over TCU. Buffalo Sabers
have won seventh straight. The final was eight seven against
Tampa Bay so fifteen combined goals and twenty seven penalties
total in this game. The NHL had not seen a
game reaching both of those totals since nineteen ninety four.
I Love It, Colorado won in a shootout against Minnesota.

(01:49:40):
Overtime wins for Pittsburgh and Dallas late games. Saint Louis
posted a four to I Think shutout at Anaheim. Ryan
Blaney took the NASCAR race at Phoenix. Christopher Bell led
the most laps but finished in second Arnold Palmer Invitational
in a playoff to Akshay Battilla. John Rahm took the
Livegulf Event in Hong Kong. Plenty of blowouts in the NBA,
including Spur over Houston. Lakers beat New York Today, Boston

(01:50:02):
won at Cleveland. Philadelphia All star Tyrese Maxi will miss
at least two games with a sprain finger, and Monday
Night to USA Baseball in Houston. Sold out Houston against Mexico,
which won sixteen to nothing. Tonight over Brazil in a
six inning game. It was shortened that you blowout thirty
six thousand attendance for that one Panama edge Canada. Japan

(01:50:23):
held on to beat Australia Dominican Republic with four homers
powered past Netherlands. And in tennis the Big Tournament at
Indian Wells Palm Springs, California, Coco Goff retired from her
third rounder tonight arm injury.

Speaker 5 (01:50:37):
Back to you, thanks, Steve.

Speaker 2 (01:50:38):
I don't know if you guys saw Joe Lonardi's latest bracketology. No,
but he has well, I say latest from earlier today.
He has your Arizona Wildcats as a one seat in
a region with Illinois, Alabama and Gonzaga.

Speaker 5 (01:50:55):
About that, that'd be fun.

Speaker 2 (01:50:57):
But I don't want to get anyone worried about who's
really gonna win this tournament. But the Oklahoma Sooners have
moved in to the next four out.

Speaker 3 (01:51:08):
Oh boy, look at you. You're excited.

Speaker 5 (01:51:10):
Oh let's go, Artie.

Speaker 2 (01:51:12):
They lost nine games in a row at one point
this season.

Speaker 5 (01:51:17):
Is there a niner in there?

Speaker 2 (01:51:18):
It's like Tommy Boy nine in a row and we're
one of the next four out.

Speaker 5 (01:51:24):
That's abelievable.

Speaker 4 (01:51:26):
Well, you're still not gonna make it in though you know.

Speaker 5 (01:51:28):
Oh, we're making the tournament. By god, we're gonna win
the thing. And we're going to North Carolina and we're
going to Iowa and we're going to Canada. I don't
even remember who that was.

Speaker 2 (01:51:37):
It's ah, but it's it's funny because I have not
been a bit as big as a college basketball fan
this year as I typically am. I know you have
been because your team's good. My team hasn't been all
that good. Myoma maters been great. Tulsa's going into the
American as the three seed. But when you see your
team in the mix, and I know it's a long shot.

(01:52:00):
As it stands right now, they would be the seventh
team left out. So what is that the seventy fifth
rank team in the country. But you're in the mix.
You're in the mix.

Speaker 5 (01:52:09):
You know what I'm saying. There's a chance.

Speaker 4 (01:52:11):
I was putting on my calendar like, okay, well this
is when the tournament starts on Thursday.

Speaker 3 (01:52:16):
But the tournament starts on Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (01:52:18):
Now the playing game playing games, right, So we got
the playing games Tuesday Wednesday, and then the whole thing
starts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So gosh, it's
just the best four days of sports. When you're starting
at noon and you know, you're just you're getting all
those games at nine o'clock on the West coast.

Speaker 5 (01:52:39):
Oh, it's so great.

Speaker 4 (01:52:40):
It's just awesome, and you're just you know, ditching work
and just having a good old time.

Speaker 3 (01:52:45):
It's just the best four days.

Speaker 2 (01:52:46):
You know, we'll be able to pick our brackets next week.
We'll be able to put our pin to paper next week.

Speaker 3 (01:52:52):
That's when you steal my picks and make them your own.

Speaker 4 (01:52:55):
That's right, and win back to back, back to back
winners for stealing my.

Speaker 2 (01:52:59):
Couple of quick h college basketball tweets, if you want them,
mister nobody, Arnie keeps talking about Arizona, but I'm telling you,
do not sleep on Michigan.

Speaker 5 (01:53:07):
Undefeated, on the road of the Big Ten, big.

Speaker 2 (01:53:10):
Deep, and able to overcome obstacles like a Michigan State
player channeling his inner Draymond Green.

Speaker 4 (01:53:19):
Was upset after that game today, But nobody's sleeping on Michigan.
If I was ranking him, it'd be Arizona, Michigan and
Duke all in that one one A, one B one
c the three of them, either one of them I
think could take it. That doesn't mean Florida or Yukon
can't take it either.

Speaker 3 (01:53:36):
They're they're who's your team?

Speaker 6 (01:53:38):
Mary?

Speaker 5 (01:53:38):
Who were?

Speaker 3 (01:53:40):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:53:40):
Are you real? Arnie?

Speaker 2 (01:53:43):
Writes Vincent. You mentioned Miami of Ohio having a bad
attitude and tawning the crowd. The only reason they did
it is because there was a section of Ohio fans
channing overrated toward them during the pregame shoot around, and
that's so the Ohio fans started it.

Speaker 4 (01:53:59):
Yeah, if they give him the finger, right, I mean, Arnie,
you tried to fight a guy in a rec League
game because he brushed by you.

Speaker 5 (01:54:06):
Come on now, Ryan.

Speaker 3 (01:54:08):
That's more important than a game. What's wrong?

Speaker 5 (01:54:11):
I agree?

Speaker 2 (01:54:12):
Actually, Ryan Wright, the Dolphin should just sign Scott Mitchell
or Dan Marino.

Speaker 5 (01:54:17):
Let's just be honest. That's the best you'll get. Arnie.

Speaker 4 (01:54:19):
Well, that made Scott Mitchell a ton of money because
he had that one good year with us. And then
where do you go? Like the giantswers. I don't even
remember where he went out Detroit.

Speaker 2 (01:54:28):
I think, well he started in Detroit, right, and then
you guys signed him? Oh no, no, no, no, no, wait,
is that right? No, I got backwards. He had to
break out with Miami, and he signed with Detroit because
he's back in the DAN. And then he ended up
on an episode of the Biggest Loser.

Speaker 5 (01:54:45):
Did you know that?

Speaker 4 (01:54:46):
I think I did know that. Yes, he was.

Speaker 3 (01:54:50):
He was certainly large and in charge.

Speaker 2 (01:54:52):
I was a little chunkier then and I needed motivation,
so I would watch that show religiously. I was like, dude,
what is Scott Mitchell doing on here right now?

Speaker 3 (01:55:01):
My buddy invented that show.

Speaker 5 (01:55:05):
No, you haven't told Usnat.

Speaker 4 (01:55:06):
Yeah. One of our sales guys in Los Angeles at
the sports radio station. He was my sales guy, and
I remember him coming here to personally.

Speaker 3 (01:55:15):
Yeah he was.

Speaker 4 (01:55:16):
He was selling our station and I was like the
big guy at the station, and we were very close,
and he said to me he came up with a
TV idea called The Biggest Loser where people lose weight.

Speaker 3 (01:55:27):
And I said, look, dude, I go, Dave, I like you.
You're a good guy.

Speaker 4 (01:55:32):
You're making about two hundred thousand dollars a year, and
this was a long time ago. I go, don't quit
your day job. That's the dumbest idea I think I
ever heard for a TV show ever, don't quit your
day job, stay right here.

Speaker 5 (01:55:49):
Thankfully he didn't listen to you, right.

Speaker 3 (01:55:50):
No, I turned into a pretty good joke. It was
pretty big.

Speaker 2 (01:55:54):
Think Arnie's Pigs will take you home next, stick around.
It's Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 6 (01:55:58):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 2 (01:56:10):
Fun show Tonight, all that, this show, Quick cast show,
Mary Mack, well done, Ryan Berschinger in tonight. Great job
the segre on updates as always in the millions and
millions of editors putting together all the great sound behind
the scenes. What are you gonna pick? Are you round?
I mean, are you gonna start to try to project
the meac? No Southland.

Speaker 4 (01:56:33):
It's really simple today. It's not gonna take long.

Speaker 5 (01:56:36):
There's all right, Well, take it away, sinking.

Speaker 3 (01:56:39):
At it, give me a little music, put me in
the mood.

Speaker 4 (01:56:42):
We told you there's not gonna be any upsets in
the major UH conferences in these conference tournaments. So Duke
will win the ACC and Michigan will win the Big Ten.

Speaker 3 (01:56:53):
I don't think anybody will get Forda in the.

Speaker 4 (01:56:56):
SEC, and of course my Wildcat we'll win the Big twelve,
so there'll be no problem there. United States over Mexico tomorrow,
though in Mexico at almost three to one, is kind
of a lively underdog, I will say that, but I'm

(01:57:17):
gonna go with the United States to win that. I
think the Bats are due to explode. And the leader
in the clubhouse for the new dog that I'm picking up,
the name is Wilbur Willie for short, but Wilber for
the Arizona Wildcat. So there you have my picks. Do

(01:57:37):
with him as you please. No longer strictly for entertainment
purposes only.

Speaker 5 (01:57:41):
So Finn will my personal favorite.

Speaker 3 (01:57:43):
What was your favorite?

Speaker 5 (01:57:45):
Finn?

Speaker 3 (01:57:45):
Finn? You like that one?

Speaker 2 (01:57:46):
I like that one a lot. Hey, you want some
tweets then before we get out of here. Yeah, if
late night drug tester says we need all your conference
tournament picks, let's load up on the futures market, Arnie.

Speaker 5 (01:57:58):
Yeah, are you really going all chalking that in the
big ones?

Speaker 3 (01:58:01):
I am the smaller ones.

Speaker 4 (01:58:03):
All the number one seeds lost, So like I told you,
Belmont lost, Navy lost quite a quite a few upsets.
So if you've bet the smaller conference tournaments, you might
have gotten some good odds on some of these teams.

Speaker 3 (01:58:15):
Northern Iowa was a sixth seed, I believe.

Speaker 5 (01:58:18):
Yeah, and they pulled it off in the Mo Valley.

Speaker 2 (01:58:22):
Mister mister Nobody, my Raider fandom goes back to Jay
Schrader and Tim Brown. You know Jay Schrader went to
high school with Arney.

Speaker 3 (01:58:29):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:58:29):
Uh, My Christmas Eve writes, mister Nobody was ruined by
Vince Evans and Company and a loss to Kansas City
at home, I made.

Speaker 4 (01:58:37):
All the old quarterback for the Bears.

Speaker 2 (01:58:39):
Yeah, he was the when when the strike took place,
he was our I mean he's still still acceptable to
say scab. I mean that was a term they used,
but he was our quarterback and he did a good job.
But mis mister Nobody says, I'm a long suffering fan,
but I don't know how much longer I can suffer
now that Max Crosby has gone.

Speaker 5 (01:58:59):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (01:59:00):
We can be mad about this, we can cry, we
can boohoo oh, it's just terrible. But as soon as
Mendoza throws that first touchdown pass in a preseason game.
We're going to tell everyone that will listen that we
are back and that we're gonna be fine, because we'll
be mad for a couple of months. But as soon
as Mendoza starts cooking in that preseason, baby lookout. And

(01:59:23):
then players are gonna want to come to Vegas because
there's no state income tact and they're gonna they're gonna
want to play under the brightest young offensive mine and
Clint Kubiak and with the most talented quarterback in the league.

Speaker 5 (01:59:36):
In Nano Mendoza. The future is coming. I didn't have
anything promise.

Speaker 4 (01:59:41):
Yeah, speaking about the future, there's I think already four
cover four divisions already.

Speaker 3 (01:59:47):
Start this now, man four divisions already winched.

Speaker 4 (01:59:51):
So I just.

Speaker 3 (01:59:53):
By the way, Denver's already quinched the AFC West, I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:59:56):
Oh you've got Denver now, Okay, okay, they could We
won the division by three games last.

Speaker 5 (02:00:01):
They're really good.

Speaker 2 (02:00:02):
Paul Wrights Top three things America wants to hear about
on the show Tonight, Buffalo Sabers talk, Buffalo Bill's free
agency news, and golf. Well, I disagree on the golf,
but that Sabers game was insane seven. Yeah, I think
there was a seven to four game at one point too.
Donald writes where is the Roman Numeral? About how your

(02:00:25):
cable doesn't work with your new TV.

Speaker 4 (02:00:28):
You know, I couldn't put up my Roman numeral list today.
It wouldn't let me on Twitter. I don't know what
was going wrong, so I didn't have it. But my
TV's up and working, so I'm very happy about that.

Speaker 5 (02:00:38):
Uh, Colin Wrights.

Speaker 2 (02:00:39):
Apparently Dak Prescott and his fiance broke up this week,
a month before the wedding. Fake news are literally another
ring Dak won't be getting.

Speaker 3 (02:00:49):
Yeah, I saw that. I was.

Speaker 4 (02:00:52):
Look, I don't know the whole story, but I guess
month before the wedding, that's when they had the Bachelor
and the bachelorette party.

Speaker 3 (02:01:00):
Oh yeah, So I don't know if that has anything
to do with it.

Speaker 4 (02:01:02):
By the way, did you see that Joe Burrows went
out with Jessica Alba?

Speaker 5 (02:01:08):
He did.

Speaker 4 (02:01:09):
Yeah, she's a lot older than him, So come on, Joe,
come on, she's.

Speaker 3 (02:01:15):
Got like three kids.

Speaker 5 (02:01:17):
So are you out because you have kids?

Speaker 4 (02:01:20):
No, but come on, he can do better than that.

Speaker 2 (02:01:22):
Stop it, Joe, don't listen to Arnie and then my
man Gunny wants to know what's the most non manly
thing you've done this week?

Speaker 5 (02:01:29):
Arnie.

Speaker 2 (02:01:30):
Oh, it's a good question, what's the most Because you're
the manly man here.

Speaker 4 (02:01:34):
I usually am the manly man, so I don't know
if there's anything non manly.

Speaker 2 (02:01:38):
To be honest with you, Oh okay, I mean I
think that might be a lie, but I think i'll
I'll just agree with you.

Speaker 5 (02:01:45):
Are you?

Speaker 2 (02:01:46):
I gotta get you excited. I know we're going to bed,
but actually we're all staying up late to listen to
Ben Mallor. But you've got to be fired up about
conference tournament time when your team is relevant. I know
you've never been to Kansas City. You haven't experienced the
Big twelve. It's a great environment. It's gonna be an
awesome week. But it's already started. Now here's this is
your time at.

Speaker 4 (02:02:09):
Three o'clock, so I'm already I already marked on my calendar.

Speaker 2 (02:02:12):
And then don't forget tomorrow morning, all right, tomorrow afternoon
noon eastern official tampering period.

Speaker 5 (02:02:19):
Be ready for some wild news. And what's with these.

Speaker 2 (02:02:22):
Rumors of Travis Kelcey maybe potentially wanting to play somewhere
other than Kansas City. I know Big Ben Mallor will
be all over it all night long. Already, have a
great week, Ben, see my friends. See you next Sunday Night.

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
