Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio radio. Oh, good morning.
What is going on? Happy Sunday morning?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Two you is?

Speaker 1 (00:08):
We got hoops, we got ball, we got trades galore
in the NFL. I'm ready for the season to begin
over a year.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
We got dude signing contract extensions, we got trades going on,
so we get to all that good stuff. Good morning, Crack,
Good morning, Jeff All, good with you, guys, Good morning.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
Yeah it was great. I hit a conference future last
night with Late Late at night. Hawaii lost late.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Oh you needed that? Huh Okay?

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Yeah, Irvine they lost as like a thirteen point home favorite,
and Irvine cash is the Big West future, so gotta
love it. Got a lot of action happening. I was
able to find not a miss price, but one sportsbook
had South Carolina to win the women's college basketball the

(00:54):
Women's SEC Tournament at plus one point thirty. Another book
had Texas at plus two hundred. So I took both
and they play each other today. I'll make some money
no matter what if you wins, I make some money
on that.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
How about that crack about how you do it to me?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Let's go guy.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
The guys all over the world traveling Mexico coming back
cashing tickets.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
I tried to work last week. I brought my stuff
with me and they had an ethernet. By the way,
it just is dead, no line active did I did try.
I was trying to join you guys because I missed
you guys from ever from way. But glad to be back.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
How was it was the vacation good?

Speaker 4 (01:30):
It was good? Yeah, you know it was. It was fun.
We will have along with four days there. But I
was always you know, I'm always like ready to come
back and be in my routine and be back home.
And you know this time of year just besides the sports,
but like it's getting warmer now. Obviously the time change

(01:51):
a little rough this morning maybe, but it's like light
outside later. It's in the eighties this week, and then
that's a nice time of year. You know, it's a
little spring. It's nice. I like it.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
I'm sure no problems down there then, all right, Jack,
because they had some problems down in some of the toys.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Yeah, that was so I was playing with people. People
were curious about this, so like that was an important
my arta, which is it's like if there were riots
in Los Angeles and you didn't go to like Dallas
because of it, like can't cou other side of the country.
So I was like, I'm fine, No, we were fine.
I mean, look, we're in the hotel area. Like we're

(02:26):
going back in a couple of weeks with spring break.
But we've been to Can'tcuon. It's an easy flight two
hours two fifteen from Charlotte. We've been there now twelve times.
It's it's a it's pretty easy. It's very safe. I
don't never feel any sort of way being there, except
you know, there's no legal sports wagering, so that that
is a I.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Don't have Caliente down there because a big book.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
No they do. I just I guess they do have it,
but I don't. I'm not setting up in account.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
You don't have a Caliente A count come on there
for four days.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
What's going on here?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Is that?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Is that?

Speaker 2 (02:58):
What it is?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Crack Caliente.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
They run the basically run the country, scambling, uh throughout
the Latino countries.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Yeah, I to sign up for Cali and d sportsbook.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I know some wha could do that. Went to listen
to me. I know a guy went there for a wedding.
He went there for a son's wedding, and he he
you know, he loves betting sports, and he literally got
on a little local bus for two hours with no
air conditioning in the middle of the summer, just to
go bet horses for the day and bet a couple

(03:33):
of games at Callian. He came back, He's like, that
was the scariest thing I've done in my life, he said,
I just can't believe I did that. Yeah, just like
just get on a local bus and take a two
hour ride. And it wasn't like going into town. But
uh yeah, and that was you know, twenty five years ago,
thirty years ago. But he was like, you know, I
could just see Jeff on the bus with his arm

(03:55):
out the window, you know, trying to get to air
and just getting his parlays ready.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
I did find a sports book, Uh, Kelly, it'd be
tough to really. I mean, I guess it's it's in English.
Oh yeah, it's really here, it is.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah, it work for sure.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yeah. I might, I might, I might. I probably won't,
but maybe I will make this happen. We'll see what's
what happens. I want to go back in a few weeks.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
That's like, yeah, I just had the Wayne and Drake
in my year with maybe I Will you know there
a song like that. But anyway, go ahead, crag Are
you gonna say no?

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I said you've been to that one area? You said
twelve times?

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Probably? I mean yeah, we mean we we've been. My
wife and I had been on vacation there ourselves. We
didn't go last year, but we have probably went, like
you know, we we do like a post football trip,
like a weekend post football. We've probably been six times,
six marches in a row, and then we didn't go

(04:52):
last year. We went back this year and we go
for spring break now with the kids. They have a
Nickelodeon resort. Who went to there's another town?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Is this?

Speaker 4 (05:01):
I find a can't couon and go a little bit south,
so like it's around ply Olk, Carmen. For the most part,
I don't go with south as like is like Tulam.
But uh it's like it's a two hour, two fifteen flight.
They have a good airport and you get a car,
you drive to your resort and you hang out there.
We're going back for spring break. We take the kids
down for spring break.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
How many questions do you take the local? Like how
many questions the resort of like are we okay?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Are we And they're like, yeah, you're fine.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
You know, because of the week that was they had
those questions.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Sure, yeah, we were so far removed from any of
that that you know, it's again it's I tell people
a lot like not getting into the politics of it,
but you know, Mexico's are those areas of the country
or their country? Right, are tourists like like hubs? Like
there's not a thirst in my opinion, and there's no
evidence to back it up, like for there to be

(05:54):
crime against tourists if you're in a tourist area. Now,
if you go like out of the area, right and
you try to find an adventure, you might find an adventure, right, right,
But if you like staying like I've been applied ol Karmen,
Like if you just sort of like going downtown applied
ol Karmen and have dinner one night, like there are
there are armed military, like you know they're walking the streets,

(06:16):
applied al carmon, like they're making sure it's safe. We
went out for dinner one night with a couple we
met at the resort. We went out to dinner. We
had a great time at dinner, like totally, like they're
not targeting those parts because you lose tourism, right, Like,
you lose a lot of people coming to your country.
So you know the stuff that happened, port of arts
are like, it's just they it's unfortunate people die, But

(06:38):
it wasn't targeting civilians and tourists, right, So I feel
very safe whenever I go again. We're going back in
for spring break. We've got a house, we got the
twelve of us. It's gonna be a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
By the way, how far are we removed to shift
it to college hoops right now? How far are we
away from like armed military around the officials? When Dan
Hurley is on the sideline, you know, I'm saying, like
he gets ejected, he gets fined. He can't yell at
officials that he was his country coming to come on
find twenty five thousand dollars because he's yelling at an official.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Foul fire. That's what coaches do. What are we doing here?

Speaker 3 (07:14):
This is the ultimate reputation, Like he's now officially the
Draymond Green of college coaches.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Right.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
That was a reputation overreaction if there ever was.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
One that is. But look, yesterday was a great opportunity
in three games and all three of these hit for
the underdog, and Yukon was one of them. Where Yukon
the conference was decided, right Saint John's won the Big East,
Arizona had won the Big Twelve, and Saint Louis had

(07:43):
won the A Ten, and all three of those teams
didn't cover yesterday. I was like, there's a little opportunities
in college basketball to find and look, Yukon losing that
game I think was pretty predictable, right again, and Saint
John's won the Big East. That that was done with
Saint Louis, you know, I lost by thirty. I mean
that they cared. But uh, the officiating. Look, man, the
more college basketball you watch, it's it's rough, man. And again,

(08:06):
the game is played fast, it's it's played you know,
but there at some times I'm like, the thing I
don't like about it sometimes, Brian is like an offense
will have a bad possession and then the player with
the ball will just drive in the lane, jump into
a defender and get a foul. It's like, is that
you know, Like the first twenty seven seconds in that

(08:27):
possession was pretty bad. Are we rewarding that play with
a foul call? Like some of that stuff just irritates me.
But I mean, look man, you you argue too much.
You can get especially even warned right a couple of times.
So I mean it is what is at this point
for Hurly. But that's his reputation.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Now, yeah it is.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
He did He did hit the official though, Yeah, I
mean I just would. I did. There was a a
woman's coach the other day. I was watching a women's game.
We got tossed to and she said something you just
can't say, like like she the Vandy coach. She said,
you suck, like like right in the face, like very visible.

(09:04):
She just got ejected immediately, but like she deserved that one.
I don't know if Hely deserved this one exactly, but
you just can't touch an official.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Not a good look for Hurley, by the way, getting
tossed from this game the way he did.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
You maybe lost her number one seed yesterday? Also yeah
they did.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Yeah they're gonna drive, but you.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Know, and but I think i'm my uh my friend
who passed away. Howie Schwab my buddy stumped to Schwad,
he would be happy that Saint John's uh, you know
won the Big East. But who you know? Every year
nobody had more jerseys in his closet than Howie and
and and Saint John's was his favorite jersey. Of course

(09:44):
school he went to. Uh But anyway, Yeah, no, that
that's that's a bad look for for Herley in my opinion,
though I don't know about the actual hitting, the referra
that's the right terminology.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
I love tap making contacts.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
What you can't do, what you can't do? Was there not?

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Was there not contact? In the Super Bowl? We just
saw what did a Seahawks player? Did he not touch
an official? And they're just like, you know what, it's.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
A Super Bowl. We'll look the other way.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Like come on, it's like the babyest of taps. You
gotta look the other way.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
At least in my book, I agree with you that
certain moments should be officiated differently, and so I I
get that. I think just in this moment, I don't
even know what he said. It seemed like he didn't
say right, you know, But like the fact that he
ran up to the official guy in his face like
he did, I'm not surprised he got tossed and that's what,

(10:40):
did you already have a technical or he did you
have to get on that play?

Speaker 3 (10:43):
I'm not sure. I'm not sure about that. Yeah, so
he probably had one earlier.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
But if you get two year out, so maybe this
was a second one.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Or they just double detect him on the spot. I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
I don't I'm watching it right now. Look, the officiating
is tough. Look here's I'll tell you what, guy. College
basketball has got to go to a quarter system. Brian, Absolutely,
they just have to. And I you know, we talk
about the time with joke about it. I do watch
a lot of women's houdebackles because I've bet on it.
But the flow of the game, the games are much different.
I sent Brian a video yesterday of a layup that's
just like you're like, what.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
This lamb season? No doubt, but yeah, is that.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
The flow is so much better in a quarter system.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
It's so cleaner.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
And that's the thing is I do love that you
get four opportunities for buzzer beaters, right, not just two
when you have halves, And it's really the fouls. The
foul thing is so much cleaner.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
Bones.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Yeah, let's bone.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Because men's college hoops mean goodness, if they're fouling left
and right, you hit the bonus with ten minutes left
in the half. You're shooting free throws for every single foul.
The quarter system, you're just not getting in the bonus
as quickly, and you're not staying there as long.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
It's so much better.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
It's also what I have found. I'm curious if you
guys think this is you know, is that wagering on
third quarters is a much better wager than a full
second half wager. Right, So, like, if a team is
struggling out of you know, the first half, you bet
a third quarter. They probably cover the third quarter. Yeah,

(12:19):
they might not cover the full game. Yeah, they might
even cover the full second half. And so I found
a lot of value just betting the first ten minutes
of the second half.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
That makes sense.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
And yeah, men's basketball game twenty minutes, it's a long time.
Like you might come out of the half smoking, yeah,
and then the other team sort of catches back up.
In women's college basketball, that quarter, I get that that
that hits a lot, and then the team has gon
to cover the full game. And so that to me
is the easier way to wager on these games. But

(12:50):
the foul stuff, man like, it's too much. You just
get you know, the men's game, would you wouldn't score
as many points. You won't scored as many points. There's
also less TV timeouts. The women have one, and I
I get maybe different networks, but like they get one
media timeout per quarter.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
You know what I was just I was talking to
a friend about this.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
It's funny brought this up, Jeff, where I think that's
probably that's my best guess as to why the men's
game has not gone there yet. It typically goes back
to money, right, And if you're thinking about it, they
take TV timeouts every four minutes, the under sixteen minute break,
the under twelve, the under eight, under four, So you're
eliminating one of those, right, because I think the women's

(13:27):
game you get like the under five TV.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Five, and I think every now and then they'd throw
it like an under three. I feel like sometimes really
might be a team tasting.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Seward, but I think men might do that for sure.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Yeah, but I'm fairly certain it's under And what happens
too is, Look, what I found is like teams save
their time out a lot of times. It gets to
the last two minutes of a game and there's like
every team has four timeouts still left, right because they
take that break, and so it flows so much better
with less TV timeouts.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Yeah, but man, you think about that crack, right, the
TV money. Think about it where let's say you're just
eliminating one TV break each half, so that's two TV
breaks the whole freaking season, you know, all of March Madness,
all of the final four games a championship. You're eliminating
two TV breaks every single game. You know how much

(14:16):
money that adds up to it? And maybe that's why
that's my best guess why they haven't done it. But
if you're looking for a cleaner yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Like the TV money and then money involved, you're you're right, yeah, yeah,
good point.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
But but but how much how much are these conferences
raking in and rights for college basketball? Obviously the rights
for football or there's actually important news with with some
with a build, it might come out that ends up
having like the ability to package rights between conferences. But

(14:51):
I don't know how much. I mean, how much is
college basketball conference?

Speaker 3 (14:54):
Right, Well, the Power Conference is, and certainly March Madness,
I mean just March madness alone, right, Like, that's that's
two TV timeouts. Let's just say that's what it turns
out to be. Two TV timeouts that you miss each game.
Huge money, huge money. So that's my best guess. Why
I don't do it. I wish they would. I think

(15:15):
it's much cleaner. I don't love an endless sea of
free throws being shot. I'll tell you this, Duke, that's
what stood out most in their game against North Carolina.
They beat North Carolina by fifteen. So for the gamblers
out there, you know, North Carolina at least covered that thing.
But Duke, how they played defensively. We all know their credentials.
They're so good defensively. They locked the tar Heels down

(15:39):
in the second half. They had five team files. They
locked them down and had five team files. It was
amazing to me that you can play that defense, you know,
be that physical, be everywhere, and only have five team files.
They're doing it without fouling on top of it. It's
amazing what they're doing on the defensive end. They're nasty.
They're really good.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Man.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
I'll give you two stats from yesterday that were unbelievable.
So Wisconsin beat Perdue Perdue has been rough man. They've
lost seven of their last thirteen games. They're six and
seven over their last thirteen. It's been nearly forty years
since Purdue lost the game when they scored at least
ninety points. That's how bad their defense is. They allowed

(16:21):
ninety seven to Wisconsin. And the other thing last night
it was almost the nightcap. You know, Long Beach State
beating Hawaii. That was the true nightcap for you, Jeff,
is a big deal for you. But right before that,
BYU took down number ten Texas Tech. That's a big upset.
You know what's funny, During the game, they show the
Big Twelve bracket for the conference tournament BYUS a ten seed.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
It blew my mind. I'm like, they're tenth. They're a
ten seed in the Big twelve.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
They've got some monster wins on their resume, yet they're
a ten seed in their own conferences.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
That just shows the depth of the Big twelve. Man crazy.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
A couple things talking about CLV even this time of
the year. That game went from seven per Due game
talking about and closed at ten and I noticed that
line and I just said, wow, look a look at
this line. Move three points and it's just another one
that loses out right. I just say to my I

(17:19):
thought of Jeff instantly though CLV means meant nothing in
that game. But going to the Duke game, I mean,
Jesus Duke's still looking like the best all around team
in the country for sure. But you know, guys, remember
last year they looked like that team. Also the best
team in the country in March, absolutely blew that late
lead versus Houston in the Final four. They were up

(17:40):
seven points in that game, would a minute left and
totally collapse. So crazy, don't forget anything. Cannon will happen,
just just like the NFL here when it gets down
to these big games especially, and these are pressure moments
for these kids and they are still kids, so you know,
and we're betting money on it though there's blood on
the line for me and Schwartz.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Well well not if you have a lean though, if
you have a lean in their consideration.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
That it's not blood what's on the line for a
lean there?

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Just you know what's funny is that again those three
games I talked about, the George Mason and Saint Louis game,
the Marquette Yukon game in the Colorado Arizona game. I
did not play my I did not play. I thought
about it. I was like, I just you know, like
I don't know. I didn't feel great about them, and

(18:29):
but I might count them on my spreadsheet. Those three wins.
They were leans, there were strong leans. I sat on
the radio yesterday morning. I liked these three games. I
haven't played them yet, but I kind of liked them.
I was working through my process. I had softball and
baseball yesterday. I sort of forgot to be honest, I
didn't play them, and but but I should count them
as wins. Though they're leans, considering there's strong leans or considerations.

(18:50):
And that's what we're doing now, is that we're counting
leans and considerations as as wins in the social media space,
so anything goes in that space. Look the thing about it, look,
you know, to me, like you don't have to to
wage a ton of money five bucks, seven bucks, ten bucks.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Like seven bucks, I like that, whatever it is.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Like, but if but if you're gonna be in the
space and put no money in any of the games, no, man, Yeah,
it feels like like what are we doing here right?

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Like you're preaching to the crack choir, right, get a
little bit five bucks, three bucks, one dollar or just something.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
We're like you.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
They talk like that on a certain network, on the
biggest network on the team, they don't and you know,
because they don't wager anything. They when they lose game
bets when they win, can't take.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
That's the thing, like if you actually wager on the games. Again,
if you don't wager, it's fine, but if you if
you actually wager on a game and again it hit
be one dollar, five dollars, ten dollars, right, Like you
put your actual money, you earned it, you put it
on a game, and you win or lose. You don't
talk about stuff like I want to lean I lost
a leader. You would never talk about like that because

(19:59):
you actually lost money of something in the game. So
I just don't like how some of the songs is
cover on social media.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yeah, no doubt.

(22:04):
year's draft. So we don't know where the pick is
going to be next year, obviously, but the pick this
year is what fourteenth overall, We're in the top half
of the draft. That's a pretty decent pick right there.
The question is this, Listen, Max Crosby is a great player.
I don't think anybody denies that. He is coming off
in an injury. Yeah, he was shut down for the
final couple of games. He had a left knee meniscus injury.

(22:28):
So he's coming off an injury, but not a down year,
still a double digit sack season. But to give up
two first rounders when there's a guy named Trey Hendrickson
on the open market, right, just free agent, you don't
have to give up two first round picks. Is that
price tag a little bit too heavy in your opinion?

Speaker 4 (22:45):
Jeff, I don't think so. I think that Crosby is
a different player than Hendrickson. He's also a little bit younger,
which is important to note, but also too like he
is more productive against the run. Crosby plays every snap right,
So like you get your money's worth in there. You're

(23:08):
trading the fourteenth pick this year in a draft where
by then the pass rushers are all gone, right, So whatever,
if you want a pass rusher, you know, maybe Messager
is there at fourteen, but like you're just not going
to get a Max Crosby type pass rusher, uh in
in you know, in that in that you know, in
that frame essentially, And if you think you're gonna be
good next year, you're trading away what a twenty fifth pick,

(23:30):
twenty sixth pick? So bright, I don't I don't dis like,
I just don't you know people now go to like
the Ravens Super Bowl. I'm like, it's about Lamar Jackson. Still,
it's about Lamar Jackson, man right. I like their offseting
so far, absolutely due. I like the aggressiveness. It's the
first trade they've had for a long time with they
give their first round pick. It's it's a different NFL now, right,

(23:52):
because these younger general managers man like, they're just going
for it. They just go for it. They don't hoard
picks anymore. They're they're going for so I think it
works for both teams. I love what the I mean,
the Raiders had to do it, I think, and they're
going to get a pick at one pick at fourteen.
Really good trade for the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Yeah, you know, Brian, just to go back to last segment,
I was saying this blood on the line for me
and Jeff, and then I thought about it. Yeah, just
because no, just because you're I'm thinking, like, you left
Las Vegas, you're in Indiana. You guys have legal sports
betting on that. What am I even thinking?

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Right?

Speaker 2 (24:28):
You guys have do you have the the bet MGM
map where you're at? Oh yeah, oh okay, absolutely, that's
what I thought I was. I'm thinking of myself. Wait
a minute, just because he left Las Vegas, my brain
is stuck in like nineteen seventy eight. I think, I
don't know, but yeah, I just wanted to Brian definitely
firing on the MGM MAP. I just didn't know, probably

(24:50):
what kind of the country, but what part of the country.
So just something I thought about and wanted to.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
Not that, but.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Going back to this trade. Yeah, so I guess all right,
I guess Crosby gets his wish. He was kind of
quiet about it recently in media, so, uh, you know,
he gets out of Las Vegas. I read somewhere that
is the first time the Ravens have ever traded first
round picks. Yeah, Crosby should help this Ravens team immediately.

(25:20):
I mean, they've had real problems closing games on defense
the past couple of seasons. Uh, they really need an
edge rusher. They were near the bottom of the league
last year in sacks. So Crosby just seems to fit
as a Raisin, as a Raven and fill that gap.
And I think he's really going to help this team
moving forward. I think I seen a tweet by Lamar like.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he referenced training day. Yeah, he just
had a smiley face tweet and it was a giff
of Benzel from training day going boom. That was a
couple hours before it was announced, so he clearly knew
about it.

Speaker 4 (25:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Yeah, Yeah, it feels.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
Like the Ravens were not one of the teams people thought, right,
Cowboys e sure, like what like the usual suspects.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
Sure, And that's where Jeff like the steam, Like there
was real steam with the Bears getting Crosby and yeah,
then it was the Eagles and then it's the Ravens
that are.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
Yeah, the prediction markets right like that. These are not
wagers you can make, you know, in uh, in the
in the sports book.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
But Bears were the favorite. The Raiders were the second favorite.
I've seen the ads.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
Yeah, I put a little I put a little bit
of a j Brown to be a Patriot. Though I've
been told that, uh, that's the most likely to happen
next couple of days. So we'll see obviously before the
league year starts. To believe, I believe tampering starts tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (26:40):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
But look, the Raiders, I'll tell you what, man, this
is a bit you know, obviously a big draft for them. Right,
you get Mendoza one, you get a guard at fourteen.
They yeah, Penn State's really good. That's who everyone had
mocked to. To the to the Ravens oddly enough, rebuild
offensive line, get Mendoza in. They're like, this is the
trade the Raiders had to make, right, you had to
you not you were post winning a championship. Right. Keeping

(27:01):
Crosby there is much of a culture guy he is
just didn't make any sense. So I like the Raiders
getting too for They wanted two first round picks, They
got the two first round picks. They did their job right,
This is what they had to do to make this
trade work for them. And I like this NFL where
teams are trading players now. Right, Chiefs and Rams had
a big trade and Jay Brown's probably on the move. Look,
the Bears lost a center to retirement, but nope, we're

(27:23):
trading for a new center. I mean, teams are just
finding unique ways. Because here's the deal, guys. As we
approach for agency, fragie is not what it used to be.
The best players are being re signed by their teams.
You're not getting a ton of like we are winning
a super Bowl because we picked up this guy in
for agency type of players. And so if you are

(27:43):
a team and you really want a pass rusher, you
really want a center, you really want a wide receiver,
the best guy is gonna be a guy you trade
for Hm.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
You know, I'll just say this where you think about
Crosby fitting in with that Ravens defense, and obviously it's strengthened,
strengthens their secondary quite a bit having a pass rusher
like Max. Like you said, Jeff, he plays the run.
You know, Kendrickston Hendrickson does as well. I know you're
not saying he doesn't, but Max plays the run. So
it's not just this like quote unquote edge rusher and

(28:14):
that's all he does is pin his ears back and
rush the quarterback. He plays the rush as well, but
helping the secondary. And it's you got Kyle Hamilton back there,
he got Marlon Humphrey, Nate Wiggins.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Like it's a decent secondary.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
All of a sudden, that secondary is even better now
with Max joining the fold. So listen, man, Two first
round picks is a heavy price tag, but I think
it can work, and I think that it's a price
worth paying because if Max is his normal Studley self,
he's gonna make a difference with that defense. And like
Krack said, they weren't even themselves right, like you used

(28:47):
to the Ravens playing outstanding defense, and the first half
of last season it was anything but Man, they're pretty
bad until they started to square things away. But he
should help quite a bit. I'll tell you what. Someone
who helps us every single week.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
That would be Isaac.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Lowen Kron always hitting his ears back during every award
winning update and he's got the leads.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
What's going on?

Speaker 8 (29:08):
I low Oh, thank you, Brian, Good morning, fellas.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
We'll start.

Speaker 8 (29:11):
In the NFL, Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher Khalil Mack
has agreed to a one year, eighteen million dollar extension.
At the World Baseball Classic on Saturday night, Team USA
improved to two and oh with a nine to one
victory over Great Britain. While in the NBA, the Oklahoma
City Thunder defeated Golden State what oh four to ninety seven.
They become the first team in the league to fifty wins.

(29:33):
In college basketball, on Saturday night, Number one Duke improved
to twenty nine and two with the seventy six to
sixty one win over seventeenth. RANC North Carolina Cameron Boozer
twenty six points, fifteen rebounds, five assists. Number two Arizona
also improved to twenty nine and two. WEDDINGGA Colorado eighty
nine to seventy nine. Finally, on Saturday evening, the Big

(29:53):
East find Yukon head coach Dan Hurley twenty five thousand
dollars for unspor hertzman like conduct, but did not suspend
him after he confronted an official during yesterday's loss at Marquette.
The Conference said in a statement and I quote initial
speculation indicated possible contact between Hurley and the official. However,

(30:18):
a review by the Conference Office of the Officials, game
report and available game footage could not confirm physical contact.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Unquote. Wow back to you guys, All right there it
is you know good stuff.

Speaker 3 (30:32):

you said, Jeff about Eagles receiver AJ Brown maybe ending
up with the Patriots. So this is great audio. This
is a story he told on Busting with the Boys.
This was going back to draft night when the Patriots
chose Nikhil Harry, remember him, the wide receiver Ouday Arizona State.

(31:19):
They took him at the end of the first round,
and this is AJ Brown's reaction to that.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Here you go.

Speaker 9 (31:24):
I just knew I was going to the Patriots because
I was a big Patriots fan. I got a phone
call and I'm like, this is it. But it wasn't it.
It was my aging and so he was like just
sit tight, and I'm like okay. He was like they're
goin to take a receiver and I'm like, okay, cool, bet.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
You know, do you think it was ya?

Speaker 2 (31:38):
I just saw the time just kept.

Speaker 9 (31:40):
Going down on the Patriots clock, and I was like,
they tripping, Like what the hell is going on?

Speaker 1 (31:46):
You know? So they ain't know Pig said the pickles.
Then I know I ain't got a phone.

Speaker 9 (31:50):
Call right now, so I'm like this, Yeah, So I
told my brother, I told thee I said, bro, let's go,
and I left everybody at the house and went home
in the closet and cry my eyes out.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
He's crying in the closet that the Patriots didn't select him.
That's how badly he wanted to play for the Patriots.
Huge Tom Brady fan AJ Brown. So like if he
still feels that way, like he's got motivation.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
To end up with the Patriots. So we'll see how
that unfolds.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
But great story, right, Who would have guessed he was
crying his eyes out that the Patriots didn't select him
on draft night.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
But that's the way it played out. Think about how
it played out.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
I bet the Patriots are crying their eyes out now,
not drafting AJ Brown and getting Phil Harry. Wow, holy cow,
swinging a miss on that end for the Pats.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
It is and the wide receiver feels like obviously a lot,
but just the fifty to fifty part of it. Look.
AJ Brown goes to New England, it seems like he
wants to be there, right, which it's important. He didn't
want to be in Philly because I think the Eagles
would like to keep them, but you know you want
to you have to be where you need to be.
And again, the wide receiver group in the draft is
is fine at the top, probably, but you can't guarantee
you're going to get someone. So if you're New England,

(32:58):
you're picking thirty first, there's not a wide receiver probably
a thirty one you feel great about. So let's get
a J. Brown right in this window right now where
Drake May is cheap. I'll just hope. Obviously AJ Brown
like wants to be there, which he doesn't one being Philly,
and that would be a big improvement for them if
Philly gets any draft picks for him. I think we're
finding out. I know it's not really the Eagles that

(33:19):
watch the trade AJ Brown, but payd two wide receivers
is kind of silly. It's kind of silly. We're just
not seeing a lot of Philly has successful them. That's
about it, right. The Bengals that don't make the playoffs
for many reasons, The Dolphins their wreck right now at
pay two. The Cowboys didn't make the playoffs last year,
maybe maybe they make it this season. They have two
wide receivers that are highly paid. And then there's Buffalo,

(33:40):
who has the second most salary committed to the wide
receiver room in the NFL, and they have zero wide
receivers that are going to Pro Bowls. Zero is going
with all Pro Zero wide receivers that are going to
be a guy that like, teams are like, wow, this guy,
we got to put extra attention on this guy. Second
most expensive wide receiver room in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
At Buffalo minds, how can that be.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Bad? Bad GMing right? Not not not setting up your
roster the right chasing bad right like you know, bad
with with worse right and it Yeah, a lot of
money in that room, Brian.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Wow, yeah, a lot more.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
You should get more bang for the bucks, right Like,
that's and they just reached. I like Dj Moore. We'll
get to that a little bit later in the show.
But I like Dj Moore as a player is productive
with the Bears. But to give up a second round
pick for Dj Moore right now, it's like, Wow, you
could not seem more desperate for wide receiver help that
That's exactly where the Bills are right now. That's why

(34:42):
that's a great trade for the Bears. Yeah, got Roma
Dune say, I think Luther Burden is gonna take a
big step forward this season. So I think the Bears
come out smelling like a rose. You go back to,
you know, like it's funny. We we look at these
trades and we try to give our inst analysis, but
I feel like once we figure out who the draft

(35:03):
picks actually turn out to be, there's less looking back
at the trade. You think about that trade of the
Panthers getting Bryce Young just two players. The Bears end
up with Caleb Williams their quarterback right now, with the
number one overall pick. The following season after the trade,
they ended up with DJ Moore in that deal. Dj
Moore was productive. They just flipped them for a two.

(35:24):
That's an outstanding win for the Bears. So yeah, funny
to look back like that. All Right, We've got Bill Krachenberger,
professional sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm
Brian No coming up next to parlay platter, which have
one selection for you.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
We puol it together for a greater payout. We'll compare notes.

Speaker 3 (35:40):

Speaker 5 (36:25):
Check this out our late ladder.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
Ah, yes, the platter. Let's get into it. We have
we each have one selection. We pull it together for
a greater payout. Pract We start with you. Where are
you taking us today?

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Well, a little lucky last week, we'll not lucky. There
went out right Minnesota, timber wolfsol I'm gonna actually we're
another rare NBA side. Okay, let's let's do a home
dog here MGM fantastic line of three and a half
on the Lakers taking three and a half first in
New York Knicks Lakers plus three and a half at

(37:00):
that engine, I think it's minus a dollar eighteen, but
the only three and a half anywhere out there, So
Lakers is my portion of the Plotter Okay, interesting?

Speaker 4 (37:11):
Can I can I not watch the Lakers play though,
and we can root for this the same court.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
I'm hoping that's the last leg of the parlay and
you gotta have it. You have no check, you gotta
watch NBA basketball there, Jeff No.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
I don't mind watching basketball. The Lakers are just not
a Lakers champ to watch. It's more of an anti
Lakers thing. I'm gonna go to a game late tonight
in the summit some leite some league champion, which like
North Dakota State minus nine and a half. He has
North Dakota a couple of reasons why North Dakota had
a kind of a miracle win last night was going
to overtime and they got fouled with like under a

(37:46):
second left on a weird alley you type play. So
they beat Saint Thomas as a big underdog, outscoring them
in the second half by the ten points. DOORTI to
go to defense in the three hundreds in efficiency. North
Go State's beat them recently twice in the twenty point range.
I like going to State tonight minus nine and a half.

(38:06):
The hard part about some of this is these conference tournaments,
man teams get hot. Georgia Southern is one of them
right now. I want to fade them in the worst way.
They've won five straight games in a row. I think
five days in a row this day six for Georgia Southern.
But they keep making shots. I scored ninety five points
again yesterday, so I'll start it from that game. I'll
take Northcote State instead.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
All right, I'll go back to the NBA.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
I'm looking at this this Pistons heat game.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
I like the over.

Speaker 3 (38:32):
I like over two thirty and a half. A couple
of reasons why the Pistons. They did play last night,
and Kate Cunningham did not play so he's well rested.
And the Knicks, I'm sorry, the Pistons blew it. The
Pistons had a twenty three point lead and lost the
game against the Brooklyn Nets. Yeah, I think the Pistons,

(38:58):
you know, they're a young team. I don't mean this
in a bad way. They're a try hard team. They
give great effort in the regular season. They're young, they're
trying to prove themselves. I think after an ugly loss
like that to a brutal team, I think they're going
to be locked in today. And also Miami, the heat
they've been. They've been scoring left and right, so both
teams have done well offensively, especially as of late. I

(39:20):
look for some fireworks in this game. I like over
two thirty and a half. So that's what I have
for you. So if you pull these three, Crack's got
the Lakers plus three and a half. Jeff, you've got
North Dakota State minus nine and a half. Right, I'm
going with the Epistons heat over two thirty and a half.
That would be plus five seventy three. It's almost true
odds six to one, not bad, not a bad payout

(39:42):
right there. We'll take our advice and it actually hits.
That's the only thing is we have to win.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
You know, that's the same you gotta win.

Speaker 4 (39:51):
I'm in right right. There's also another spots by the way,
to take a team who has qualified as a reallygue
number one seed South Florida. It is playing Charlotte Tayer
that at home, though, and they're laying like thirteen and
a half. They've clinched with it. They've clinched the number
one seed into the Americaname. So if you're looking for
a spot like yesterday to play, maybe Charlotte's spot.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
Man, I just picture you in Mexico looking at an
app and seeing a live women's basketball score, and you're like,
oh gosh, I would totally lay the thirteen and a
half right now, but you know no outlet to do.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
So glad you're back in this.

Speaker 4 (40:27):
Play women's college basketball in Mexico.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
All right, we got hoops coming up next. Oh what
is going on? Happy Sunday to you. I hope all
is well.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
We're gonna get into a top ten hoops matchup. And
then also, I went to a pretiod game. I love
that from the Saw movies. I only saw the first one,
which is pretty good. I didn't see well, I don't
know if I saw it anymore, but I do like
a pre game. I want to play a game with
the guys here. We'll do that in just a second. Hey,

You know, like whatever pictionary or at home game?

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Do you like that? A't you ever have game night,
Jeff with your family?

Speaker 2 (41:22):
You ever do that?

Speaker 4 (41:23):
On vacation? My wife and I play a ton of cards,
y cards, what do you? Uh? Gin and gin rummy
for the most part, okay, and she hates when I
beat her. It's like my favorite thing. Ever, Uh, it's
a lot of fun. We do have game we do
like we do have game a couple of times a
year while my wife have like a game night. And
but it's not like board games like we like do

(41:45):
stuff in the backyard in front yard and like have
like fun little activities.

Speaker 3 (41:49):
Like the combine. You just recreate the combine essentially. Basically, Yes, Crrack,
you you big into games at all?

Speaker 2 (41:57):
Not really? I mean when I was a kid, I was,
but now you know, if I had kids, I would
be like with Jess and right. But no, I you know,
I see so many people, uh play games on their
on their phones on their thing. I get it, I
get it. You know, it's it's a I'd rather see
people doing that than probably messing around with social media

(42:17):
and the craziness. So yeah, my brother in law was
a perfect example. Boy throwing on to the bus here
twenty five years retired secret service and uh, as soon
as he gets home from work though, uh now he's retired,
he took another job and when he gets hold he
gets around the computer and you know, starts, you know,
playing war games and stuff like, you know, like and

(42:39):
and he's like my age. So it's uh. I always
say you got a clear head, pal, But that's what
a pension will do for you, a giant pension. Like
that's what I always tell them.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
Well, you're at.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Least open to games, right crack, Yeah, of course I'm
going to I'm going to create.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
A game for you.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
Okay, now this is we're just trying to crack the code. Now,
this is let me get this real fast. I got
a tweet and I want to give him a shout out.
This is from Tim. Tim checked in we were talking
a little bit and we'll dive into it a little
bit more. With the Bills trading for DJ Moore, they
just traded for a wide receiver, and so Tim hit
me up on X and just wrote, Bills should have

(43:17):
gone younger and after bt R, give allan legit wide receiver.
I don't know who the hell BTR is. Maybe you
guys can crack the code. We were trying to do
this off the year we got nothing.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (43:32):
Okay, Bills should have went younger and after bt R
give alan receiver.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
You got it?

Speaker 4 (43:41):
Yeah, I got it. I think he's trying to say
the Bills should have gone after Brian Thomas Jr.

Speaker 1 (43:48):
Maybe he r Thomas instead?

Speaker 4 (43:52):
Is yea, J and J and R are not on
the same near the keyboord are not close. So I'm
looking right.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
Now, is left?

Speaker 6 (44:00):
Ye right?

Speaker 2 (44:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (44:02):
Right?

Speaker 2 (44:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (44:03):
Maybe yeah, before.

Speaker 4 (44:08):
I was trying to say that they should it sounds
like you can maybe make a case where it should
be like they should have gone after Brian Thomas Jr.
That's that's my closest guest, go younger. Brian Thomas Jr.
Who supposedly is on the trade market for Jacksonville. I
don't know who else that would be. I mean, obviously
no other wide receiver. I think that like share its

(44:30):
close to that name. Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
Yeah, that's the best guess I've heard. You got anything else, crack,
I got nothing.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
No, I was just even googled it pt R NFL.
But if it maybe it's supposed to be a j
R like like Jeff said.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
Right, yeah, that would make sense.

Speaker 3 (44:47):
Well maybe, Tim, if you're listening, hit us back, let
us know who BTR is because we're.

Speaker 4 (44:52):
We've got maybe that's what it is. But again, so
the one thing that is we get to trade season
right now, obviously, but also draft season. We're gonna post
draft season. I say this. I say this every year
as disclaimer. Guys, if you tweeted me at Jeff Schwartz
with a trade you say I want X team to

(45:14):
move down, I want X team to move up, you
gotta give me the terms. Man. You can't just say, oh,
they're gonna trade down. Everyone wants to trade down. This
draft right now, has I think three things we know
that's it. We know three things. Mendoza's going one, Julian
Love is going between three and nine, and Jimmy Jeremiah Love,

(45:36):
and I think I think Reese is going two or three.
That's that's, that's it. I feel like it's all. I'm
gonna probably wager next to nothing on this. I say
that now, then I'll have twenty five wages, but I
think I'll have very limited menu for the draft. There's
so much unknown for the draft. So yeah, of course,
if you're picking at six, you probably want to trade down.
Who is trading up? What are we trading up for?

Speaker 3 (45:59):
Right?

Speaker 6 (45:59):
Right?

Speaker 4 (45:59):
So I think that where as we get to this
time of the year, you said, oh, just trade for
Brian Thomas Junior here, what are you giving up for him?
You got it? You gotta send me the terms because
otherwise it's very easy to say, oh yeah, trade for him,
do this, But like, it's not that easy, guys.

Speaker 2 (46:14):
I'll give you.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
I'll give you an example of a trade that that's
a callback to something we were talking about earlier, and
we'll tie you into what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
Jeff.

Speaker 3 (46:21):
It's kind of like a two for one combo cutter here.
But the Bryce Young trade that we talked about last hour,
like the Panthers traded up from number nine number one,
for the quarterback Bryce Young. It's amazing to see what
was involved in that deal. So it turned out to
be the number one overall pick the next year, which
was Caleb Williams, the current Bears quarterback. They threw in

(46:43):
another player, Dj Moore, another pick, the ninth overall pick
turned out to be Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
Like all these.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
Plays, So the Bears actually they traded down from nine
to ten and they got an offensive lineman Darnell Right,
and they got their fourth rounder and their punter, Tory Taylor.
So those are the picks that were involved in that trade. Now,
to your point, the Panthers are trading up for a
quarter back, right, Like, that's one of the main reasons

(47:14):
the team wants to trade up.

Speaker 1 (47:16):
These teams, a lot of them want to trade down.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
But you got to have a dance partner, to your point,
what you're talking about here, So it's not as easy
as you snap your fingers and trade down from eight
to eleven and acquire more picks and more capital, and
you might not have anyone to dance with to do that.

Speaker 4 (47:31):
It's my least hear thing about this time of year
where people just say oh, just trade down, just trade.
I did a mock draft for Fox Sports and they're like,
you know, people, just yeah, I would love that, Like,
but who's doing I Who do one trade in the
mock draft? And it was the Arizona Cardinals trading backup
for Ty Simpson, which is such as a fantasy land.
But trade and maybe the Rams trade back up. Who

(47:51):
knows for him? But you have to give me trade
partners man, Like, there are so many teams that would
love to move back, but who in this draft you're
moving up before? Maybe if you if you desperately want
a pass rusher, and like the Chiefs are at nine,
or New Orleans is eight, and Ruben Bain's the guy
left and you just have to have Ruby Bain. Maybe
you trade up, but you trade another first frame. Remember
last year the Falcons famously trade up to get James Pearce.

(48:13):
You have their first round pick. That's why the Rams
are picking thirteen right now. That's a lot of capital
to trade up. So I just don't know if there's
that many guys. That's draft where we're going to see
a lot of trade, a lot of trading up, especially
if you're giving up enough first round pick next season.

Speaker 2 (48:27):
Yeah, so you're them to you're asking people to tweet
at you to give you who they're getting in return.
But as far as the terms, okay, like years, no.

Speaker 4 (48:39):
No, no no. But like if you say, like I'm
a Chiefs fan of nine, okay, if you tell me
you want the Chiefs the trade back, tell me who's
trading up?

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Right?

Speaker 1 (48:48):
Why?

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Gotcha? It's so easy to say.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
It's easy to be like, oh, the Chiefs are going
to trade back, right, Okay, Well, sure they'd love to
trade back. I'm sure they would love to trade back.

Speaker 1 (48:58):
Right, Like why are the traders trade back into the
top ten? Right? Like with the fourteenth overall?

Speaker 5 (49:03):
Why?

Speaker 4 (49:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (49:03):
For who? For you?

Speaker 4 (49:04):
Right?

Speaker 2 (49:05):
For what?

Speaker 1 (49:05):
Forget about it?

Speaker 4 (49:06):
Right, Like, give me the reason why? So it's just
it's just to me, it's lazy to say, like, yeah,
of course they want to trade back. Trading back is
almost always the correct choice, right, yeah, but give me
the reason. You know, the Chiefs are at nine and
Julia Love and Jeremiah Love is sitting there at nine
and someone has to have him, and the Chiefs have already.
You know, there's rumors that they might sign Kenneth Walker,

(49:28):
and like the pass rushers are all gone, okay, and
the wide receivers they don't love and someone yeah, someone
might want love that badly they trade up, but otherwise
there's no there's no The Chiefs team a pass rusher,
they're not trading out of nine if Ruben banes available
for them. Like, so this is to I'm talking about, like,
you have to just give me a reason why a
team would trade back or trade up. You can't just
say it, in my opinion without giving me some of

(49:48):
the backwork to it.

Speaker 1 (49:50):
Yeah, no, it makes sense.

Speaker 3 (49:52):
I'm gonna shift it to college hoops to pay off
the top ten matchup? How about number eight Michigan State
at number three Michigan. So we're talking four thirty Eastern time, CBS, right,
top ten matchup. Looking forward to this, I really want
to see because Jeremy Fears is a legit guard. He's

(50:13):
put up monster numbers. He leads the nation and assists.
There's no assist prop right now for Jeremy Fears on
bet MGM. I don't know what's up with that, but
I like his point total as well. He scored thirty
one points last time against Michigan. So it's at eighteen
and a half on bet MGM. But the reason I
bring up Jeremy Fears is because LJ. Caseon he's out right,

(50:34):
he tore his ACL has been given the Wolverines good
minutes off the bench, so he's out for the season.
And man, I think this is a big Fears game again,
Like you're losing a little bit of your guard depth
and Jeremy Fears has got to be He's their engine,
you know, He's what makes Sparty go.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
So I'm looking for Fears to play very well. Michigan.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
It's crazy right they've It's been the first time in
fifty years that a Big ten team went undefeated on
the road. That's what Michigan has done. Like, that's how
that's how nasty Michigan is. So I look for Michigan
to win. The prices come down a little bit. It
was Michigan minus eleven and a half last night. It's
ticked down to minus nine and a half now. But
those are a few of my thoughts. What are you

(51:16):
thinking in this game here, Jeff.

Speaker 4 (51:18):
So, I like Michigan State. I think they went out right.
This game doesn't matter all the Michigan Wow, Okay, they're
the one seed in the Big Ten, are right? They
won the Big Ten. They Michigan went into Michigan State
early this season and bullied them, right, So Michigan State's
going to try to come out and and sort of
establish I would imagine some physicality and start this game
fast compared to the way it went. I just think

(51:40):
we've seen the last twenty four hours like the games were.
Now this is a rivalry game is a little bit different.
But Michigan has nothing to play for this game. Their
only goal is to I mean it's a rivaly game.
I get it, and maybe they want to show they're
still the top dog. But what what do they have
to gain from from from this game?

Speaker 1 (51:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (51:57):
In the big picture, absolutely nothing. Michigan State. Can you
know the two seed a little pride, right, you let
Michigan come in your house and bully They won that
game by twelve, did Michigan. I just only Michigan has
anything to play for this game, crack, and that matters.
They are the one seed, they won the Big they
won the Big Ten already, there's nothing for them to
do in this game. And Michigan State, I think pridefully

(52:20):
is gonna want this game in a big way.

Speaker 2 (52:22):
Yeah, right, this is it's gonna be a big game
for them, in big game in general in Big Ten,
top two teams in the conference going head to head,
Michigan nine and a half point favorite. Looks like a
is trying to get that number one seed for March Man.
This Michigan State has been kind of flying under the
radar this season. You haven't really heard that much about them,

(52:43):
But here we are in March and they're twenty five
and five and the top ten coaches that has been
quiet this season, you know, seventy one years old, and
then I think it's a possibility that he retires after
this season. Actually, but both these teams, well, I'll tell
you both these teams definitely have a chance to win
it all this year. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if,

(53:05):
you know, we see both of them go a long
way here and come to this final four in April.

Speaker 1 (53:10):
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it.

Speaker 5 (53:11):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
You know, Jeff, you're looking at these spots and you
certainly saw it yesterday, right, the three spots that you
brought up where teams had already clinched their their conference,
they really didn't have much to play for and none
of them covered yesterday, So not everybody lost out right,
like Arizona won their game, right, but they're playing Colorado,
right like the Michigan played Sparty here today at top two.

Speaker 4 (53:34):
Difference yesterday was all three were on the road. Yeah,
Michigan's at home today, so is another one I mentioned,
So is South Florida. So again like it makes it
might make a difference home road obviously in the situation,
but again Michigan's down a player. As you mentioned, they
had nothing to play for. Michigan State got bullied at home.

(53:58):
You know, they're playing for private, playing for the two seed.
If Nebraska wins today, they play Iowa later today, there's
a possibility that you know that they're the two seed
and they're on the other side. I'm sure you want
to be the other side of Michigan right in the
Big Time. These leagues, by the way, are so big
now that the conference tournaments like you don't play now.

(54:19):
I think the Big Ten tournament like Michigan won't play
until like the third day or fourth day now in
these conference tournaments because all the Big Ten used to
only have fifteen teams and now they have all eighteen
I believe are in the Big Ten Tournament, which is
which is just wild. Yeah, I mean, you know, it's
it's Yeah, Michigan would not play until the fourth day

(54:41):
of the Big Ten tournaments one, two, three, and four,
so you'll be on the other side of the bracket
from from Michigan would be important, I think. So, I
think said has a lot to play for in this game.

Speaker 1 (54:52):
Yeah, and we mentioned Cason.

Speaker 3 (54:54):
He tore his ACL against Illinois and a couple of
his stats here, so he's averaging just under nineteen minutes
a game. This is a backup guard, and he's making
more than forty percent of his three point attempts, averaging
eight point four points. So again, he's a depth guy.
You know, he's not one of their stars, but he's
a depth piece. And when you're going up against one
of the better guards in the entire country in Jeremy Fearce,

(55:17):
that matters. That absolutely matters. So yeah, that's working against Michigan,
not only in this game, but throughout the entire tournament,
throughout the rest of their season. We'll see if they
can compensate for that loss. But when you lose rotation, guys,
you know, that's that's a big deal in basketball. That's
depth right there. That's nineteen minutes that other players have
to eat up now.

Speaker 4 (55:36):
Especially with all the we're talking about all the fouls
you know any of these games, man, you know the
fouls add up the games and so have that depth.
Especially the other time of the year when leg might
be tired. Is a you get to confer a tournament
time and you end up playing. If you're know a
lower seed, you end up playing a lot of games,
a lot of days in a row. You need to
have as much deup as possible.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:57):
Absolutely came opened up ten and a half eleven, just
to let you guys know. Uh, I'm down to nine
at some of the sports books. I'm seeing bet MGM
still nine and a half Schwartz in getting the word
out there.

Speaker 4 (56:11):
Yeah, you know I want I want anti CLV. I
actually want the game to move to like eleven.

Speaker 2 (56:16):
I could feel so much better if the game I
want to take nine. Even if it takes.

Speaker 4 (56:21):
Nine close eleven, I know I'm gonna win. I just know,
absolutely win that game. So that's the way, Ivy. If
you see LV, I'm sure it matters much more than
I give credit for.

Speaker 2 (56:31):
But absolutely does the thing about it.

Speaker 4 (56:34):
The only thing I just is that I you know,
there's a philosophy sometimes with some of the sharper people,
and I'm sure I'll ruffle some feathers even with you
Crack on this. Like, to me, a good wager is
sort of if it wins or loses. I mean, you know,
of course you can have you know, there's reasons for
that at different times, you know. But a lot of

(56:54):
people subscribe to theory. They're like, if I just get
good CLV, it's a good bet whether I win or lose.
I just don't. I don't.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
I agree with you.

Speaker 3 (57:01):
It's weird, it's but it's blend. It's in the middle
of both of your worlds. Because Crack is right. You
want closing line value because over time, if you get
the best of the number, over time.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
It's gonna be to your benefit. You're gonna win that.

Speaker 3 (57:14):
Yeah, but you But but I'm with you too, Jeff.
Where listen, this happens all the time. Remember when there
are some games where listen, you're laying seven.

Speaker 1 (57:25):
Let's go to the NFL.

Speaker 3 (57:26):
You're laying seven on the road in a primetime spot,
and it's like you you don't want to do that
over the long haul, but in this particular case, in
this particular spot, like that might be the right play.
But if you're like, well, I got CLV and over
the long haul it's gonna win more than it's like,
I don't care about the long haul. I care about
tonight because I bet this game. So yeah, it's a blend.

(57:49):
It's both of your world right there.

Speaker 2 (57:51):
It's this simple. The reason why CLV matters, the number
one reason is the line the bookmaker put out was wrong,
and now with a couple minutes before the tip off,
it's correct. It's efficient. So if a line is eleven
and now it's nine, the eleven was wrong. We have
to remember here, this is my wheelhouse. Okay, there's one

(58:14):
sports book that puts up a line overnight, and every
other sports book in the world copies that line. They
don't have a book maker in house with a pan
and pen with his analytics, and you know, it's just saying, know,
this line should be this. No, everyone copies off of
the one sports book, and if that one sports book

(58:36):
is wrong, which they are many times throughout the day,
then the sharp betters will sharpen up their line and
show you where it's supposed to be. Listen, you have
one source putting up one hundred lines on a Saturday
even today, dozens and dozens of games today, you can't
get them all, right, But these sports books do not

(58:59):
pay enough money to have individual linemakers in every single
casino and sportsbook. So therefore they have to copy a
Vanella line off one sports book and the betters will
show them, the sharp betters where it should be. Now,
CLV long term, we're talking about anything can happen in
one day at one game.

Speaker 1 (59:18):
Yeah, and that's that. Yeah, no doubt well said.

Speaker 3 (59:22):
That's Bill Krackenberger, Professional sports handicapper Jeff Schwartz with US
eight year NFL veteran disbeliever in CLV, at least for him,
particularly in particular, right, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (59:34):
In the NFL, I certainly believe it. In the NFL.
That's one where like yeah, Dot got plays off and
other sports I get crushed with it college football specially geez.

Speaker 1 (59:45):
Yeah, I'm Brian no Hey.

Senior trading manager at BEDMGM. Good morning to you, Christian,
Hope all as well. You know, it's a limited card today.
It's so funny, man. Like yesterday, there's literally like one
point five million college basketball games, you know, in this Sunday.

Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
It's a limited menu.

Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
We do have a top ten matchup though, Sparty at Michigan.
Is there anything you need in that game or anywhere
else today?

Speaker 5 (01:01:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:01:34):
So it's funny. Did the Sundays go from the busiest
day of the week to one of the quietest, especially
as we are ramping down towards enna college basketball seam here.
We do have a big one today. The book is
probably going to be rooting for Michigan State, but we'll
kind of see how things get closer.

Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
Yeah, what's your biggest liability on some of these conference tournaments?
I mean, I feel like Navy to win has been
a play most have made it out to almost you know,
MAYUS three hundred now. But I would imagine that a
team like Navy losing would be helpful to you, guys.
What are some of your liabilities to get to end
up some of these smaller conferences and they get their

(01:02:13):
winners today and tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (01:02:16):
Yeah, I mean, this is to me one of the
more fun weeks. As we're loading up here into conference
tournament week, you kind of get a lot of the
goodness of March madness. But a lot of people aren't
really as tuned into these ones as they are for
the main one. So a lot of these conference tournament
matchups sometimes the betting is not as big as it

(01:02:40):
will be for other things. So two reasons for that.
As all season will list the conference winner, which that
is just from the regular season conference, and then around
now is when we start listening to the tournament winners,
so does end up being two different things, and the
tournament winner doesn't end up being listed for a good
amount of time, so I don't have to too many specifics.

Speaker 5 (01:03:04):
The usual like.

Speaker 7 (01:03:05):
Dukes are usually a problem for us. If I go
into like Vhen, I'll have kind of random ones and
you know you're Saint Joseph's George Mason that will take
a couple bets. But some of those can be skewed
at this point because of the fact of a lot
of low volume on the tournament winners at this time
of the year.

Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Good morning, Christian. So you guys had we had a
two week period between the playoffs, of course, the conference
championships in the Super Bowl, you came on and said
only about ten percent of the bets for nine percent
was the word. I think you used the number for
the Super Bowl replaced that middle week with seven days
to go. Would you say the same thing for like

(01:03:46):
March madness futures or are people firing and all that
stuff now getting pumped up for the next couple of weeks,
or or really where you get a lot of stuff
you know that particular Thursday, Friday, I'll say Wednesday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
the two days leading up to the first four days there.
Or do you have a pretty good uh you risk

(01:04:08):
right now of a lot of people bet some futures
before the maybe season started or as the season's developed.

Speaker 7 (01:04:15):
Yeah, of course, of course, we'll we'll take pretty steady
action throughout, but the majority of it does really start
to pomp uh in that week when people start filling
out their brackets. A lot of people will fill our
bracket and then uh, you know, make that same pick
that they're making, you know, if they're picking Duke to
win and all of them will go on and just
play an extra bet on two to wins. We will
see a major upstike at that point, but there's also

(01:04:39):
a little bit of a different feel because the matchup
still getting known and for a little bit and once
we post, we will start to take some selection. Sunday
next week will be an interesting one. That's when we
start to take it. But does end up as usual
where day of bets, uh, you know, eleven o'clock on
that Thursday as well as sure the majority action will come.

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
In yep for the game.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Yeah, how oftome Christian do you do?

Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
You end up needing something totally random and unforeseen where
you're just like, you know, we kind of need great
Britain in the world baseball class today, right, you know,
we need Tyler Reddick to stop winning NASCAR races? Like,
how often does it happen where you're literally saying that
out loud and can't believe you're saying.

Speaker 7 (01:05:20):
That out loud, blanking on a on a a good
one at the moment, but it does tend to happen
where we'll get some really interesting ones where, especially in
these international tournaments, just because we'll take so much USA action,
we'll always kind of find ourselves in weird positions. And
that's the one that's tough as the uh working at

(01:05:42):
a sports book is Uh, you get conflicted, right, I
want to root for the USA, but then it will
also knock us back a bit.

Speaker 5 (01:05:49):
So.

Speaker 7 (01:05:49):
But this World Place Baseball Classic has been so far
off to a great start. We've taken a ton of
handle on these games. It seems to be pretty popular.
Futures outlook is taking a lot of bets. So so far,
so good on this tournament.

Speaker 4 (01:06:02):
It's been fun so far. Uh, I think off the
sort of the Olympics, a gatting to watch a little
a little morning sports. You get to watch a lot
of the games played Japan early in the morning and
obviously USA ends at night. Curious about the NFL future
is because we saw some trades the last couple of
days here and the Rams have sort of solidly moved

(01:06:22):
into into being, you know, the Super Bowl favor Are
you seeing much NFL action at the moment, I don't,
you know. The market is still relatively young, but Rams
are a Super Bowl favorite right now?

Speaker 7 (01:06:37):
Yeah, of course, you know, it always can be a
bit missed because you know, at this point you're if
you are betting on an NFL future, you know you're
you are tying your money up for close to a
year at this point. So if you are putting something in,
people tend to want to be a little bit more
cautious and make sure it's something that they're trying to bet.
But of course, once injury or trade news starts to break,

(01:06:59):
people trying to jump on it as quick as in Kendi. Yeah,
the Rams made pretty good move, and then the Ravens obviously.

Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
With that big move of Crosby.

Speaker 4 (01:07:06):
I believe that.

Speaker 7 (01:07:07):
Yesterday or two days ago was another one that had
a team kind of move in. But still a lot
of moves. We may there'll be a lot of little
bit of tweaks here and there. For the most part, though,
he won't move anything to too crazy, you know, from
plus six hundred plus seven hundred, nothing too too crazy
barring a crazy trade that we haven't expected yet.

Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
When do you sorry, when do you expect to have
the draft menu up?

Speaker 7 (01:07:33):
So we have a good amount of a few draft
markets up right, now I believe we have picked one
to two.

Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
In three up.

Speaker 7 (01:07:38):
Yes, obviously the state restrictions are dependent on it, but yeah,
I mean this is the time of year, right, we're
a little over a month out. I guess it's still
about a month and a half out, but now is
one will probably after the combine is now when we'll
start putting a little bit more and more up. Obviously,
the draft from a book making perspective is a tricky one,

(01:08:01):
one that I don't particularly love. But we always try
to get up as much as we bost.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
Again, Christ, you know, the other day I thought I
was being a wise guy on the MGM MAP. I said,
they had like this Joe Berg opener. It was like
a Dpeak golf classic. I said, ah, they won't take this.
Bet me let me put more of than asking because maybe,
I said, maybe they'll give me less. You know, it's
my mind is crazy, because I know it doesn't matter.

(01:08:27):
It's set. So I went in there and put fifteen
hundred and they took fifteen hundred and a loss. So
you guys are pretty smart do that. I said, I
only wanted to dime. I said, let me put fifteen hundred,
and it took the whole fifteen hundred, so you guys
only five hundred there now. But what I'm interested in
is some of these ways. You know, it's it's a

(01:08:47):
shameless plug for bet MGM, but Jesus, I cannot believe
how many different ways you can bet major League Baseball
futures with bet MGM. Anyone that that's listening. You don't
have to even have an account. You could just download
the app and look hit major League Baseball then in futures.
I mean, you could just keep scrolling. It's amazing the

(01:09:10):
different ways you could bet futures and just bet things
in general on MGM. And it's a simple thing San
Frangiants for as Arizona most regular season wins. I mean
stuff like that. You could bet head to head. But
my question is, like myself, I bet my futures now
for baseball last to last month or so, and I

(01:09:32):
know people don't like tying up their money for you know,
eight nine months or whatever. It I started early this year,
and now do you the same thing now, just like
I asked you before about the March manustuctures. Do you
see a lot of the baseball futures coming in now
or do people tend to do that also, you know,
right right before the start of the season.

Speaker 7 (01:09:54):
Yeh, it'll be similar. And especially with this little Baseball Classic,
I think it'll get baseball, you know, a little bit
more pumped ahead of the season, people more excited, and
that'll tend to lead to two more futures outlooks. And
as you said, yeah, we have over two hundred and
fifty markets available for MLB from a future's perspective, so
plenty of things you can bet on. These ones always

(01:10:14):
do end up being interesting because kind of like you mentioned,
you know, if the sharps and the wise guys are
on some of these futures, a lot of times we
don't always end up getting the money back on the
other side. So if somebody's taking someone a little maybe
more obscure team like the Kansas City Royals or something,
and we get a lot of sharp action on over

(01:10:35):
under whatever, it may be, a lot of times it's
a lot harder for us to kind of even that
out on the other side. So features from a regular
season wins perspective is one that we really keep a
close eye on.

Speaker 2 (01:10:45):
And someone has an opinion there on the astros, so
I showed the guys, I actually been a large amount
like five grand on Astros under eighty six and a half.
It's still you haven't moved to a penny and that
was two weeks ago. So someone or better yet, maybe
the they could be one of the public teams that
people just like to bet over on. Maybe that's why

(01:11:06):
they didn't. You guys didn't move them. So there's certain
teams like I would say, of course the Dodgers and
you guys had the only I don't know if it's
still one O three and a half, but it was
the only one O three and a half in the
market was bet MGM. Uh So I put a peanut
on that. Uh and and you know, I bet a
couple other ones. They moved a hair one O three

(01:11:27):
and a half minus one twenty right now at bet MGM.
But there's no one on three and a half.

Speaker 7 (01:11:30):
One.

Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Oh, I've seen one O two the other day. So, uh,
you guys have a you know your market there. Do
you think people are still going to be coming in
with the I'm gonna say Dodgers, Mets and Yankees betting
overs on those three teams that that's usually the way
it goes with the bet MGM will they're their audience.

Speaker 7 (01:11:47):
Yeah, exactly. So I've pulled up that Dodgers market and yeah,
the under so far has taken a majority of the money,
but that's probably kind of a lot of the of
what happened for us. So you came in pretty early.
So the under in archive, and I hope is that
the public as we get closer to the season, will
continue to best the Dodgers over what they tend to
do and maybe we get a closer to fifty fifty

(01:12:09):
market on this one.

Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Gotcha all right?

Speaker 1 (01:12:11):
Christian, Hey, good stuff as always. Man, hope you enjoyed
the day and we'll catch you soon.

Speaker 7 (01:12:16):
Of course, thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Absolutely there.

Speaker 3 (01:12:18):
He is Christian Sippolini, bet MGM, Senior trading manager, always delivers.
Also delivering would be Isaac Owen Front. He's got the latest.

Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
What's going on? I low, Brian.

Speaker 8 (01:12:30):
We're saving the best for a last because we're about
to deliver some audio that is the early candidate for
Audio of the Year out of the NFL that's coming up.
We're saving the best for last. But first we actually
have some fresh college basketball news. ESPN just reported that
Georgia Tech is firing head coach Damon Statamire after three

(01:12:51):
seasons on the floor. On Saturday Night, Number one do
comproved to twenty nine and two with the seventy six
to sixty one win over seventeenth ranc North Carolina. Number
two Era Zono also improved to twenty nine and two
with an eighty nine to seventy nine victory at Colorado.
At the World Baseball Classic, Team USA improved to two
and oh with a nine to one victory over Great Britain.
In the NBA, Oklahoma City became the first team to

(01:13:13):
fifty wins with a one oh four ninety seven win
over Golden State. In the NFL, Green Bay Packers center
Sean Ryan has just agreed to a three year, thirty
three million dollar extension now. On Friday night, Cincinnati Bengals
receiver Jamar Chase was live streaming himself on Twitch playing
a video game when people in the live chat informed

(01:13:37):
him that the AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens had just
acquired Max Crosby.

Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
Listen to this.

Speaker 10 (01:13:46):
Crosby to Baltimore, Well, lion, Nah Dad, two first.

Speaker 4 (01:13:53):
Rounds you're buying you're lying. No, he didn't just.

Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
Lose him to the same division twice a year.

Speaker 4 (01:14:01):
Oh my god, why do we bet that happened like that?

Speaker 10 (01:14:05):
Hey, you know what's crazy. That's the perfect fit because
they didn't have sons funt this year. That's a great
pick now that I'm really sitting here thinking it's not Ova.
We just gotta block his Oh my god, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:14:18):
Chat guys back to you, man.

Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
That's great, good stuff, live reaction and everything, very good stuff.

evaluate these trades is think of it from the perspective
of a division rival, you know what I mean. Like,

(01:15:05):
instead of just looking like, hey, did the Raiders win
the trade or the Ravens win the Max Crosby trade.
It's like, what are the Bengals think about the Max
Crosby trade? You just heard it from Jamar Chase right there.
It's a good way to kind of gauge a trade
like that. Yeah, he's like, what he's where.

Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
In our division?

Speaker 2 (01:15:23):
Kidding me?

Speaker 1 (01:15:23):
Right now?

Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
All right, we've got to prop it up right around
the corner. We will dissect the prop betting market today.

Speaker 1 (01:16:17):
Definitely check that out. Very cool promotion. A let's dive
into this good drop it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:23):
Up player plays.

Speaker 3 (01:16:26):
All right, prop bets go more crack. You know, this
is Christmas in March for you. What do you have
circle today?

Speaker 4 (01:16:33):
Buddy?

Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
Let's go to the NBA here, New Orleans. Zion Williams
back from injury here getting full minutes up against a
Wizards team that is pretty terrible on defense. So over
MGM over twenty two and a half minus five over
at MGM Zion over twenty two and a half pints?

Speaker 4 (01:16:55):
All right, all right, I went two baseball pins all
about one. I just think you just put us in
the year account and be dealing with it a tiny
d a m VT. It's minus one twenty five. I mean,
I just world baseball class and so on right now?
Right first at bat, what's maybe second at bath brand slam? Okay,

(01:17:17):
the next day home run, like he's gonna do what
he did, and maybe he pitches again a little bit,
you know, like it's it's like you just put in
I just put in your back pocket. Be done with it.
Maybe find a better number at some point. I don't
really know. What I don't want to like is is
Chandler Simpson at plus four hundred to do the Negro
season stolen bases leader. He had forty four last season,

(01:17:38):
only one hundred and nine games first year in the Pigs.
This year, you imagine plays more games, two more stolen bases.
Right now, Dela Cruz is the favorite, and he had
more stolen bases Simpson did at Dela Cruz last year.
So plus four hundred for Simpson to be the stolen
base leader.

Speaker 1 (01:17:56):
Look at you. A couple of baseball picks.

Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
Here we go. I'm bad.

Speaker 3 (01:18:00):
I'm gonna look to today. I'm gonna go Jeremy Fears.
We mentioned this in the Sparti versus Michigan game. Jeremy
Fears as the engine makes that machine go, and with
Keson being out back up guard, that hurts Michigan's guard depth.
I look for Fears to have a big game. I'm
gonna go over eighteen and a half points. So that's
that's my official pick. I also like Morez Johnson, the

(01:18:21):
Michigan big over seven and a half rebounds. He's been
really good. For them as well. The problem is they've
got a couple of dudes. They Gomara in there, you
know yet Lenda Borg. So you know, every now and
then you get screwed up. It's kind of like Florida,
you know, where if you go with the how rebounding
prop and all of a sudden shin you lou is
just vacuuming up every rebound every now and then you

(01:18:42):
get screwed by that.

Speaker 1 (01:18:43):
But I like more as Johnson today as well. But
my official play for you, you give me Jeremy Fears over
eighteen and a half points.

Speaker 3 (01:18:50):
He had thirty one last time he faced Michigan, So
I don't look for him to slow down. I look
for him to still do work. I wish there was
an assist prop for him as well, But there's nothing
up for Jeremy Fears today, at least on bet MGM.

Speaker 1 (01:19:05):
There you go, How many prop bets do you have today?
Crack like a you may we are we looking.

Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
At no, no, no, not too many. But we'll have
a couple of nbas throughout the day. But no, that's
not like football season or an NFL day that you know.
I can give out four on here and I still
have another dozen. I try to give out the good stuff,
like like a percentage wise on here. But yeah, no,
And we've been crushing the NBA props this season, So

(01:19:34):
what would you guess?

Speaker 3 (01:19:36):
What would you guess is your all time high in
terms of prop bets for one particular day.

Speaker 2 (01:19:43):
Wow, that's probably the super Bowl every year, though the
last couple of years it hasn't been h maybe you know,
but probably because there's so many different ones available. I
would say it's probably the super Bowl. But then then again,
you want to know the guys on the streets. I
could look on any given Sunday, you guys know I
send you to that list. I mean there's certain sundays

(01:20:04):
during the NFL season I'll have twenty five props. So
and yeah, Jeff like, no, no, I go I Steven
send them off like you know these guys I don't know,
really spreading the bankrolls? Then what am I doing?

Speaker 7 (01:20:18):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
Jeff's like, no, don't you dare send me a private note,
don't you there?

Speaker 1 (01:20:24):
Keep sending let's go?

Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
Yeah, all right?

Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
Coming up next, we dive back into the ball, which
was the more significant move for one particular NFL division.

Speaker 1 (01:20:34):
That is next on, Oh what is going on?

Speaker 3 (01:20:43):
Happy Sunday to you. I hope your day is off
to a great start and our less of rest. Who
needs rest? We'll rest when we're dead. You know it's
still gonna be a fantastic day. Let's get after it
over here, all right, we got to get into some
ball talk over here.

Speaker 1 (01:20:59):
What better way to.

Speaker 3 (01:21:00):
To start the conversation then to get back to what
was confusing us earlier? We played a game last hour?
What is this tweeter saying exactly?

Speaker 4 (01:21:11):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:21:11):
He did mention a bt R right like that was
the Who's BTR was talking about the Bills and drafting
for a wide receiver and we're trying to crack the code.
Turns out the Schwartz syndicate got it right, really checked
back and wrote y R. He wrote, Yes, typo crack
Brian Thomas Junior instead of an old oft nagging injury guy.

Speaker 1 (01:21:34):
He's talking about DJ Jess Robs the Jeff it was,
it was Brian.

Speaker 3 (01:21:39):
Thomas Junior and he put a He put an R
instead of a J. Is basically right there there we go.

Speaker 4 (01:21:45):
We got her.

Speaker 2 (01:21:51):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:21:51):
The parlay platter got a big.

Speaker 4 (01:21:53):
College basketball women's college basketball Day ahead of me today,
So let's.

Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
Go very nice, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:21:59):
So we got another trade to talk about, but we
also have in divisions. So we have the DJ Moore trade, right,
DJ Moore gets traded from the Bears to the Bills,
and then we also had the Patriots letting go of
their wide receiver Stefon Diggs. So for the AFC East,

(01:22:19):
which do you think is the more significant move? Is
it the Bills acquiring DJ Moore or is it the
Patriots releasing Stefan Diggs?

Speaker 1 (01:22:27):
What would you say to that, Jeff, Well, I.

Speaker 4 (01:22:30):
Mean, the one that makes the team better is DJ Moore.
But the problem is what they're giving up for djmore right,
and what they're paying. So I'll let you guys in
on a little contract structure. So when you see these
deals come up next week, you're gonna see five years
and blah blah blah million, right right, any for the

(01:22:52):
most part, guaranteed money is for two seasons. Okay, that's
timply what it's for, and the second might be like
I remember this is now what I did my deal
in twenty fourteen. My second year was like half guaranteed.
But it's enough where the team's not going to cut
you, you know, like, so you get two years of guaranteed money, correct,
the third year is elusive, that's hard to get, and

(01:23:15):
that's a reserved for the top of the top quarterbacks,
maybe Jamar Chase and like those type of guys. Are
you get like your third year partially guaranteed, all guaranteed,
or there's like a roster if you're on the roster
by a certain day, you get the third year guaranteed. Right, Like,
there's it's rare though. The bill's guaranteed a large portion
of DJ Moore's third year. So twenty six, twenty seven,

(01:23:37):
twenty eight, he's not that good to do that. And
so they're on the hook now for three years of
DJ Moore and he's not a true number one. You know,
there's issues about route running and effort at times, and
I just don't know if it Man, this feels like
it could backfire. Remember, guys, they have the second most

(01:24:01):
money devoted to their wide receiver room in the NFL,
and the wide receiver room as of right now is
DJ Moore, Joshua Palmer, Khalil Shakir, Kean Coleman, Brandan Cooks.
I think actually he's a free agent. I'm not even
sure he counts. I look at their depth chart right now.
The number one team in the NFL for wide receiver spending,

(01:24:23):
Jamar Chase and T Higgins, Like, okay, that makes sense.
Number number three George picking ceedee lamb. This is this
is this is this is tough. Man. I you know,
I know you're not getting a J. Brown. Probably maybe
you didn't try hard. I don't, I don't. I just
don't love it, man, just don't love it.

Speaker 2 (01:24:41):
Yeah, you know, you know we've talked about that the
last few weeks here about the Bills that you know,
they understand their window to win a Super Bowl with
Josh Allen isn't going to last forever. So they really
needed to add a solid number one wide receiver for
Allen and then and they they do have one and
more now I think. But I understand you're saying, uh, like,

(01:25:02):
he's not as good as that third year or whatever
it may be, going to the Digs move that. That
was pretty surprised to me. He had a great year
last year and he really seemed to get, you know,
to get along well in gel with with Drake May
So it had to be about some off the field
distraction or something. I would expect the Patriots now grab

(01:25:23):
a wide receiver in the free agent market and possibly
draft one pretty early. But yeah, did you guys hear
anything about by the way, like, is there was anything
more to that Digs move or not? Really?

Speaker 4 (01:25:34):
I think no. I just think that it was fine.
I don't know if he got the production for the money.
I think that's probably what it was like you did
to get the production. And I think that a J.
Brown feel again, that feels like I'm gonna look right now,
I made I made a little way dressing on him
on one of the picture markets. I don't know where
that's sitting right now. Obviously the picture market was wrong
about Max Crosby. It's not always right.

Speaker 2 (01:25:54):
But did you did you not? Do you not like
this move by the Bills for more.

Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
Just saying it's a heavy price tag, it's heavy two,
you're guaranteed that a lot of the third year guarantees
and yeah, and he's like a one B he's not
a true one A.

Speaker 4 (01:26:11):
Yeah, So I like it just to the fact that
needed more weapons. But I don't know, you know where
they're drafting in the draft, there's no guarantee there's gonna
be a guy there, right, if you look at like
the top three wide outs or really for it's in
any Tait and Lemon are like one and two. Tyson
is three, but Tyson could be one if he's healthy
and for his conception she own and you know, I

(01:26:32):
think that there's a lot of work to be done
with him. So like it's you, we're Buffalo's picking. There's
no guarantee those guys are there, right, So that's why
they went out and we're seeing teams make more trades
now because of that reason. Right, you want something specific,
I'm gonna go out and get it. But it's still
is it's just a lot. It's a lot of money
devoted to one room. When you have a quarterback making

(01:26:53):
all that money, can you afford other players? Defensively? They're
they got prove on defense. Can you afford enough players?
You're playing the wide receiver so much money? The film's
out by Whey. The Chiefs are thirty second and one
receiver for spending. That's got to change it. They want
to be better too.

Speaker 3 (01:27:09):
Yeah, It's it's funny because you could go back and
forth with DJ Morks their arguments to be made on
both sides. I don't agree with the idea of him
being oft injured. Like he started every game the last
five seasons. That's pretty good. That's not oft injured right there.
And you could be like, hey, man, listen, before this
past season when he only had fifty catches because of
the emergence of Roma Dunes a Luther Burden, right, he

(01:27:31):
was less of a true one a guy. You know,
the two previous years with the Bears, he's got ninety eight,
ninety six catches.

Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
You know, he's put up numbers.

Speaker 3 (01:27:41):
Like he's he's done pretty well throughout his career, and
he hasn't had with the exception of Caleb Williams last season,
he hasn't had premier quarterback play right between Carolina and
the Bears.

Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
So you factor that in.

Speaker 3 (01:27:54):
But he doesn't have one season where he's had more
than eight touchdown catches, you know. So it is it's
a heavy price tag. It just shows the desperation of
the Bills, is really what it does. It shows that
they had to have a wide receiver. I'm sure they're
a little bit gun shy too, Jeff. It's not just
where they're picking in the draft in what might be available.
They just drafted Keon Coleman right in the second round,

(01:28:15):
and it's like they haven't gotten much for that draft
pick either, so they're probably even more gun shy about
relying on the draft for a young wide receiver. So
they wanted something that they could feel a little bit
more secure about. And DJ Moore has been productive, but yeah,
to your point, they're paying him quite a bit. How
about another deal here where you look at a trade.

(01:28:36):
We haven't talked about this yet, but Trent McDuffie getting
traded from the Chiefs going to the Rams.

Speaker 1 (01:28:42):
Rams gave up a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:28:43):
They gave up a first round pick this year, third
round pick next season, throwing two more Day three picks.
That's four total picks for Trent McDuffie. He's a stut.
It's a big acquisition for the Rams. But what do
you make for both teams? Rams can go for it
mode with Stafford maybe his last hurrah. The Chiefs, like Jeff,
you know this all too well that they don't pay

(01:29:03):
a lot of their guys when the second contract comes around.
So what do you make of this for both teams?

Speaker 4 (01:29:08):
So you know, the best trades are the win wins, right,
for both teams. I think that that this is a
win win for both teams. Right, So let's talk about
the Rams. Right, the Rams trade the twenty ninth pick.
They still have a first round pick, guys, they have
they have picked thirteen and because they traded their pick
last year and got the Falcons pick. So you traded

(01:29:28):
the twenty ninth pick for All Pro corner which is
the position you needed the most. This you need to
fix cornerback. Remember last season offensively good, pass rush, pretty good,
even though Jared vers You was on a wat to
poster for some of the later games they played this
past season, but the secondary kept them from making the
Super Bowl, right, cost them a lot of games the

(01:29:51):
end of game where the Rams games last season.

Speaker 1 (01:29:53):
Darnold so diiced them up in the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (01:29:56):
Right, Yeah, So now you get an all Pro corner
for the pri of a twenty ninth pick and an
extension obviously, Right, that's a pretty good value.

Speaker 1 (01:30:04):
For the Rams, no doubt there.

Speaker 4 (01:30:06):
And you could use a thirteenth pick for another cornerback. Right,
you could double up in this draft. And for the Chiefs,
they're not a Trent McDuffie away from winning a Super Bowl.
They have the worst running back room in the entire NFL.
Now there's rumors that there's that one account on Twitter
that that does the scoops and very clearly connected to

(01:30:29):
the NFL. Somehow they get a lot of them right,
and they put out there that the Chiefs are going
to sign Kenneth Walker. So interesting there if they end
up happening. But the Chiefs need running back and they
need wide receiver, they need pass rush. We're finding out
I think in the NFL pass rush is more important
than maybe having a great secondary Brian. You need both.

(01:30:50):
But if you choose sort of one or the other,
and then Spags develops corners, man, the Chiefs that developed
corners year after year after year. So let's get we're
not a McDuff away from winning. We need that draft
pick to get better other positions. We have young corners
we've drafted and we think are good enough to play,
and we need pass rush, man, like the need the
draft to pass rusher at some point in the first round.

(01:31:11):
So they have three picks on the top forty and
let's load up. And you know, Jake Glazier reported this
week that Mahome is gonna be ready for week one.
It feels early for that to happen. But the Chiefs
are clearly I think, in a mode where you know,
we can still the window is still open. Right Kelsey
is still playing as of right now. I don't know
how long he'll play, if he will play one more year.
So it's a rare to me, win win trade. Man.

(01:31:33):
Both teams got what they needed in this trade. And
I'll bet right back on the Rams this year. Man
eight to one right now at bet MGM through the
Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:31:41):
He there's an article on a Sports Illustrated put up
an article and that writer said that he thinks he's
that Mahomes is going to be ready to go by
week one, and it's not a guarantee, but that's what
he thinks. But however, the summary of the article is
that they didn't think this through. So this mcduffy move,

(01:32:03):
they didn't think that Andy Reid and Brett Veach may
not have considered how impactful McDuffie's departure will be on
the success next next season. Uh. Interesting article. It's interesting
to read both ways. Now, Jeff, that that is your
still your favorite team, right the Chiefs?

Speaker 4 (01:32:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:32:18):
Yeah, okay, So so but you're okay with this, both
win both.

Speaker 4 (01:32:23):
I have said this for a while. So Andy Reid
leaves that, I will probably root for nobody because I
just don't.

Speaker 2 (01:32:28):
Okay, all right, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:32:31):
For the Chiefs because I like because Andy Reid and
the other and when the staff leaves, like, I'll have
no allegience. Can't say, like, why would I like? I
would like. It's not like I just want or going
to win a championship all I root for now? Okay,
it's the only thing I read.

Speaker 6 (01:32:43):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:32:43):
That's good? You see I like that. That is three
years of dealing with me, maybe a little bit longer.
You finally have come to no allegiance to anything except
for my bank roll and.

Speaker 3 (01:32:54):
CLV and right, let's say it's what the Chiefs do.
You know, they move on, They develop players, but they
don't retain them. You know, they let them go. We've
seen this before. They traded Tyreek Hill for a bushel.
They got a lot of picks in that deal, and
they didn't miss a beat.

Speaker 1 (01:33:14):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:33:14):
They let Lugerious Sneed go, who was a stud at
the time, and they haven't missed a beat.

Speaker 1 (01:33:20):
Last year was the exception. Man.

Speaker 4 (01:33:21):
They fell take out on the top of my head.
If you take out Mahomes, Chris Jones, and Kelsey right,
the three stalwarts of the Super Bowls. The Chiefs have
only re signed like a handful of guys the second
contracts in induy, it's entire tenure. They signed Eric Fisher,

(01:33:41):
who they had to it was a first round pick,
right their first book overall twenty thirteen, they signed the
Canadian guard Larry Turneth, and then they signed the All
Pro center Creede Humphrey and Pro Bowl Tray Smith and
then Nick Bolton like that that might be it. Wow,
Like they don't sign their own guys.

Speaker 1 (01:34:04):
We're done, like not like significant, Like whoa what I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:34:07):
Maybe Eric Barry got a deal. Eric Barry got a deal.
That's a's been there like thirteen years. I just named
all of them. My brother was a free agent, right,
you know. They they got other FRA agents on the
offensive line. They brought in freighter wide receivers. They don't
resign their own running backs. They don't want to sign
their secondary you know, Eric Barry was the last secondary
player they signed his second contract. They brought a Justin

(01:34:29):
reidoff free agency, right, Like they've brought these guys. Honey
Badger was a free agent. Yeah, like these guys. That's
what they've done over the years. They just had They've
resigned these core players, right they Chris Joneses, the Mahomes,
the Kelsey. You know, they were signed a long snapper
every year who just I think did a deal the
kicker they re sign, But it's not what they've done
over the years. They have not kept a lot of
their own players.

Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:34:50):
Well, and that's the thing is it's the next guy up,
you know, when they trade a guy or let them walk.
Now it's Jalen Watson, who's been a good corner rounder
out of Washington State. They drafted Noel Williamson or Williams sorry,
he's from California. He was a third round rookie last season.

Speaker 1 (01:35:08):
So it's like, it's.

Speaker 3 (01:35:08):
Your time to shine now, Noel, you know like that,
that's just what the Chiefs do. The thing, though, is
what's interesting is the ripple effect, right with the ninth
overall pick, because you can't trade Trent McDuffie and not
greatly improve your pass rush.

Speaker 2 (01:35:23):
You have to.

Speaker 3 (01:35:24):
You can't have you know, your secondary be lesser than
it was. Yeah, and not greatly upgrade your pass rush.
So if there's a pass rusher there at number nine. Overall,
I know you'd love to have Jeremiah Love. That'd be
a lot of fun to see with Mahomes in that offense.
But man, you got to find some pass rush help
help You have.

Speaker 4 (01:35:42):
To nine is really interesting because I think Love is
gone by nine. I think he doesn't get right for Yeah,
I think the Titian's sake them at four. The worst
case scenario is that the three pass rushers are gone
and then Tate has also been drafted and loved, and
you're sitting there at nine.

Speaker 3 (01:36:01):
You're like, cool, we don't get like running back or
pass rushing or.

Speaker 4 (01:36:04):
A pass rusher or number one wide receiver. You're like,
uh boy, what do we do? That can certainly work
out that way? And then you maybe draft off It's
a linement. I disagree with you. You have to overdraft someone.
Maybe I'm just tired of like small wide receivers. I
just would not draft Lemon if I were them from
USC who against bigger players just hear got hemmed up

(01:36:26):
your irish hemmed them up pretty pretty well, organ play
well against them. Nebraska, who's got a good secondary like
you just I don't really like Lemon for the Chiefs.
So yeah, this draft is gonna be so fun. Man,
I'm not gonna make a ton of wagers. I don't
think I am. It's it's a there's gonna be a
lot of Like I think, if you take any wagers
in this thing, you're just doing long shots. That's all

(01:36:46):
you're doing. This draft. It doesn't feel like a draft
where you really feel comfortable with much happening.

Speaker 1 (01:36:52):
Jeremiah Love number one overall, that type of thing. I'm
just kidding.

Speaker 4 (01:36:55):
Six one overall. Again, I think Reach is going one
or two or three, that's all. I mean. Love is
going somewhere unaware he's going in. You know, the more
you have watched No Day in the sofseason, it's criminal.
They were left out of the postseason. It's like two
group of fives.

Speaker 3 (01:37:14):
And it's really not a Notre Dame Miami thing. Jeff,
it's why the hell in there? Why or two group
of fives? Well that, but those are the rules. So
they couldn't do that. They couldn't change that on the
fly they were getting in.

Speaker 4 (01:37:26):
I mean they should have I mean obviously, you know,
because we're talking about as we get to the March madness.
You know, Miami of Ohio, thirty one and oh it's
a different discussion when you have sixty eight teams versus
twelve teams. Sixty eight teams, I don't want seventeen and
fifteen all burn in the postseason. Get them out of here, goodbye, bye,
bye bye, got smashed by Alabama last night, Like, get

(01:37:47):
out of my TV. I don't want to watch you
play anymore. Give me the thirty one and o Miami
team who might, by the way, Brian, they might lose
to the eighth best acc team by thirty points in
the round of sixty matter who cares, doesn't matter the tournaments.
I think like nine of the eleven bubble teams yesterday lost, Like,
get them out, get them out, give me, give me

(01:38:08):
my Hoam of Ohio. But in college football, give me
Notre Dame over to a or out like that feels
like they're not the same thing, right, Give me the
not the Irish who have all these pro guys who
now have the Heisman front runner for next season. Give
me that team in the postseason. Miami Ohio inclusion in
the in the in the tournament is not It's not

(01:38:30):
like they're in Florida's out. Like, it's not like they're
in Arizona's out. It's like they're in or this terrible
SEC team. You know. I was looking at the standings
la other day I was making us I was doing
this yesterday morning with with with Antony. I was looking
at one of the bubble teams. I think it was
Virginia Tech. I actually thought they weren't in the ACC
anymore because I looked at the top half of the

(01:38:50):
A SEC standings. It was like, what where for your
tech at? And they were like twelve twelve best team
in the Give me Miami of Ohio, please give me backround, Like,
give me some of these other teams, Man, give me
these Give these guys a chance in the sixty eighteen tournament.

Speaker 1 (01:39:03):
Yeah, hey man, I hear you. I absolutely hear you.

Speaker 3 (01:39:05):
All Right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran, I'm Brian know. For over forty years,
tire Rack has been helping customers find the right tires
for how, what and where they drive. Ship fast and free,
backed by Free Road Hazard protection with convenient installation options
like mobile tire installation, tire rack dot Com the way
tire buying should be.

Speaker 1 (01:39:27):
And it's time for the tire rack play of the.

Speaker 3 (01:39:29):
Day, Schwarber just a time, by the way, compliments MLB
on Fox as Team USA smacked around Great Britain nine
to one. What's a better name to say in the
Boston accent? Is it Schwarba? You know, we got Kyle Schwarber,

(01:39:54):
we got the all timer, former Boston guard Machus Smott.
There's that, and then and then we got our guy
Saga on digital right, Saga is what what's the best
way you go?

Speaker 1 (01:40:05):
Marcus Smart? You go Schwarber or Sager? What do you say? Jeff?

Speaker 4 (01:40:09):
I think with the swore bomb tweet this morning that
that was that was showing his home run and like
you imagine telling revolutory warrivets about this moment we're hitting
the pitcher. WBC is great because they're like some plumbers
man out there like these like forty three year old
plumber just going and throwing, you know, five innings against the.

Speaker 3 (01:40:35):
Remember the teenager guy Aaron Judge, thee year old double play.
That's amazing, It's awesome. Yeah, you've been into this crack
WB seeing it up over there?

Speaker 4 (01:40:45):
Oh, thank he is. I think he's making his next wager.

Speaker 3 (01:40:47):
Okay, he's putting his parlay together, all right. Coming up next,
what do we got over here?

Speaker 2 (01:40:53):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:40:53):
Oh gosh, two games on the same show. Really, you're
gonna love this one. Stay tuned for that. Coming up next.

Speaker 1 (01:41:30):
Up at the top of your screen. All right, it's
big NBA day today, Are you kidding me? A great card?

Speaker 5 (01:41:36):
Great card?

Speaker 1 (01:41:37):
And I thought about you two guys.

Speaker 3 (01:41:39):
You know you bet the NBA, but yeah you're not,
you know, clearing your schedule to watch NBA hoops. We'll
put it that way. And so I thought would be funny.
Is a couple of these games. I think they're great matchups.
But if you rank these games on a regular season scale,
right from one to ten, what is your level of

(01:41:59):
excitement for a couple of these games on the slate today? Okay,
Schwartz will start with you Celtics Calves. You get Jason Tatum,
bag they're taking on the Calves, a great matchup.

Speaker 1 (01:42:10):
What is your level of excitement? One to ten?

Speaker 4 (01:42:12):
The Calves are all are all hurt though, right.

Speaker 2 (01:42:15):
A little bit?

Speaker 1 (01:42:16):
Yeah? Yeah, A little little banged.

Speaker 4 (01:42:17):
Tatum back with fifteen points the other night, first came back.
So you think you think I knew that? Did you?

Speaker 1 (01:42:25):
Hey? Pleasantly suppressed.

Speaker 4 (01:42:27):
I know you're impressed by that. I uh, I think
you know right in Sunday's probably like a seven? Right?

Speaker 1 (01:42:34):
Okay, not bad crack? Where are you at with this one?

Speaker 2 (01:42:40):
Sorry? Guys, Let's see the Celtics. Listen that this this
you know? Me with n B A, I don't really
watch too much NBA, even though I do have some
action today. I told you guys in the Lakers. Yeah yeah,
I'll start the Lakers. Let's let's let's go to the
Lakers first. The Stars are gonna be out of course
for this one. La Nicks. I don't think we see
Lebron James next year, so this could be his last

(01:43:02):
few games for Laker fans to come out and see Lebron.
So that's probably going to be a giant game today
if he plays today. He's listed as questionable and he
missed the last game with an injury, but I would
expect him to suit up for this one. Going back
to the Celtics Cavs. Jason Tatum back for the Celtics,
look pretty good in his first game this season, and

(01:43:24):
the Celtics now the favorite to win the East at
plus two to fifty, but the Cavs right behind him
at plus three or one. This one is lined right
around to pick him. Should be a good game with
playoff atmosphere. But you know, if I had to pick
a game to go to though for the season, maybe
this is it. It's pretty cool when a Knicks Laker game,

(01:43:46):
that would be a pretty cool game to go to.
Like I said, Star is going to be out, people
are going to be going a little bit crazy. But
you guys know me, I'm not really I don't really
don't go to NBA games and I'd rather go to
a college game.

Speaker 3 (01:43:56):
If you're willing to go to this game, crack, does
this make an appearance on the Crack TV? Or if
you're out and about today, Huh, you're gonna check a
little bit of Nicks Lakers out.

Speaker 2 (01:44:05):
Yeah, no, no, no, I probably will check out some
of that for sure. I don't really watch, like I said,
a full game. I don't think I've watched the No,
I haven't. I haven't watched the full NBA NBA game
this season, but I won't be watching the full game.
But I'll definitely be uh watching something. There's a ton
of college games today too, and and uh, you know
it's now I'm interested to know more about this, this

(01:44:26):
this Michigan game. Today we got uh, you know, our
guy Christian said that they're going to be rooting for
the underdog there and also Jeff, so, Jeff, Jeff and Jeff,
you got the bookmakers on your side today.

Speaker 4 (01:44:40):
That's I'll take that side. Yeah, I'm okay with that side.
I like that. I'd like to be on that side. Yeah,
I mean, I miss you again. And the Charlotte number,
by the way, has jumped up to like sixteen and
a half.

Speaker 2 (01:44:52):
Now I've seen that, yeah, because I know you give
a different Earlier was looking I was like, wow, this wine.

Speaker 4 (01:44:57):
Jump, it's jumped a lot. Now I'm getting Southwories. Nothing
to play for it all. Today there's just and Charlotte. I
mean don't have much either. But we've seen this trend. Yesterday.
You know again, those those teams were on the road,
so it's a little different because they're at home. But
you know, nothing nothing, But how about by the way,
the fighting got leaves man, what improvement yere in year two? Yeah,

(01:45:20):
they won their first conference and it took like a
three day break they played today. It's kind of an
odd These tournaments have some weird schedules.

Speaker 1 (01:45:28):
And they're dogs today, right, Like, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:45:30):
They're slight dogs. Say they're back at it at three
thirty today. It's interesting these conference tournaments are, you know,
they kind of just like some some go straight through,
some like hop around a little bit. But no, he's
they're playing at three thirty day. I think it's on CBS.
I think it's like CBS. I'm sorry, not on CBS.
I was look a different game.

Speaker 1 (01:45:51):
Great job by Chris Purfett. Yeah, I meant to grab
that oh man, he was he did you see that
earlier crack?

Speaker 3 (01:45:59):
He was upset getting teed up and yeah, explaining like
I got teed up for, you know, a call that
was made one way for the other team and made
a different way for our team. And yeah, he was
heated Northern Kentucky today.

Speaker 1 (01:46:13):
What's that, Jeff?

Speaker 4 (01:46:14):
He got suspended from the rant he really was for
a game. Yeah, that might have been a different rant,
but he was out for Did you get suspended for
a game for a rant he gave?

Speaker 3 (01:46:24):
Was that the chair toss or a rant? I'm not sure.

Speaker 4 (01:46:28):
I'm not sure what I thought the rant?

Speaker 1 (01:46:30):
But you get suspended for a rant called the refs out?

Speaker 3 (01:46:36):
So what like a game suspension for calling out the refs? Like, bro,
I don't see why that's a technical file. That should
not be a one game suspension.

Speaker 4 (01:46:45):
Yeah, he got, yeah, suspended for one game for following
explicit explicit laded table slamming postgame ran. Think that's the one.

Speaker 3 (01:46:53):
Oh my god, he was clay and dropped like fifty
f bombs lot.

Speaker 4 (01:47:02):
He got about he got about it there out the paint.

Speaker 1 (01:47:05):
Goodness.

Speaker 3 (01:47:06):
I didn't realize this this is I thought, what was
happening with Danny Hurley yesterday was obnoxious. Now we got
Gottlieb in the mix getting suspended for a game for
dropping a little F bomb and questioning officiating.

Speaker 1 (01:47:18):
Come on, this is ridiculous. What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:47:21):
Is Nick Lakers? Is that a day game?

Speaker 1 (01:47:24):
Yeah, it's three thirty.

Speaker 4 (01:47:26):
You know what, Brian, I'm gonna watch that game. We're
watching that game. I can.

Speaker 1 (01:47:31):
That's what I'm talking about on here.

Speaker 4 (01:47:33):
Side TV uc Ohio States Women's Big Ten Championship, and
I got some money on that one. And then we'll well,
we'll watch the big TV. We'll get Lakers Knicks.

Speaker 1 (01:47:43):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:47:44):
I didn't think Jeff watched Laker games well.

Speaker 4 (01:47:47):
Mostly because I know what's going to happen. They play
no defense and it's just not a fun team to watch.
It's not I should I should have doted my Hornets.
That are really fun to watch.

Speaker 1 (01:47:55):
The Hornet the Nightcap. You get a little Hornets, Sun's
action to night if you're up for.

Speaker 4 (01:48:00):
Them, who are making a great, great push. But the
Wakers just crack. They're just not fun to watch, right, Brian,
They're off fund the watch.

Speaker 3 (01:48:07):
Well, you know what, they're the ultimate bullies. Man, they'll
beat up on the kings and the nets, and they'll
get punked by the good teams. That's just been the
playbook all season long for them.

Speaker 4 (01:48:15):
They're waiting for the playoffs, waiting for the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (01:48:19):
They're gonna get punked even worse than the playoffs. Man,
you thought last year was bad, this year, holy hell,
yeah it's it did not happening for them whatsoever. What
is happening for us, though, is we've got Isaac Loewen Krome.
It happened for everybody else out there listening as well.

Speaker 1 (01:48:35):
I low with the latest.

Speaker 8 (01:48:36):
What's going on, buddy, And more importantly, we have even
more Jamarchos. Let's go once again, saving the best four last.
We start with some fresh college basketball news. Today, ESPN
reported that Georgia Tech is firing its head coach Damon
Statamire after three seasons on the floor. On Saturday night,
Number one du Can prove to twenty nine and two,

(01:48:58):
beating seventeenth r North Carolina to seventy six to sixty one.
Number two Arizona also improved to twenty nine and two
with an eighty nine seventy nine triumph at Colorado. In
the world Baseball Classic On Saturday night, Team USA improved
to two and oh with a nine to one victory
over Great Britain, while the Oklahoma City Thunder became the
first team in the NBA to fifty wins on Saturday

(01:49:20):
evening with a one four to ninety seven triveh over
Golden State.

Speaker 1 (01:49:24):
The NFL.

Speaker 8 (01:49:24):
Today, Green Bay Packers center Sean Ryan agreed to a
three year, thirty three million dollar extension. Now earlier, we
played you the audio of Cincinnati Bengals receiver Jamar Chase
learning in real time about the AFC North Division rival
Baltimore Ravens acquiring Max Crosby on Friday night, while Chase

(01:49:45):
was live streaming of video game on Twitch. Well, a
little bit later, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow texted him about
the trade, reawakening Chase's emotions.

Speaker 10 (01:49:56):
Joji tanking me Ravens trade for Max kros to be No, no.

Speaker 11 (01:50:03):
No, brother, Oh my god, Oh my god, oh oh
Max Crosby, Trede just oh the trade is in the pickets, in.

Speaker 10 (01:50:18):
The pickets in oh my god, oh my god.

Speaker 1 (01:50:23):
No way.

Speaker 10 (01:50:24):
Oh well, I'm about to text Joe, let's have a
great protection scheme that week, so I can.

Speaker 8 (01:50:31):
Say Cincinnati Bengals receiver Jamar Chase still processing things back
to you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:50:37):
Wow, man, what a compliment for Max Crosby. There's no
better compliment than that. You know, this is Jamar Chase
reacting to the trade in real time like that. What
I do love is in the middle of the first
audio Isaac played last hour, was just Jamar basically saying
they didn't have anybody rushing the passer last season. Right,

(01:50:57):
I'm paraphrasing, but I would love the reaction to the
Ravens pass rushers from last season. It's like, wow, man,
that's that's cold right there. But that is the ultimate
sign of respect for Max Crosby. He's going on and
on like that, like, oh my gosh, like we better
have our blocking on point. This guy is a maniac.
He's destroying offensive lines. That's basically what Jamar is saying.

(01:51:18):
That's a great, great pat on the back for for Max.
That's an outstanding for him.

Speaker 4 (01:51:24):
Wow. Definitely to have someone who you really have not played.

Speaker 1 (01:51:29):
Right, Yeah, just admire your game like that.

Speaker 4 (01:51:32):
That's right man, that's that's that's that's impressive.

Speaker 1 (01:51:35):
I know, it's impressive.

Speaker 4 (01:51:36):
Think about that when they hear us come on the
radio there just like they're just like, I can't believe
those guys. I gotta go get those guys right now
in this in this time slot, and I know that
there's a fear in their voices.

Speaker 1 (01:51:45):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:51:46):
Yeah, I guess it's not not for Jeff Fry, not
just for the two games that they're gonna he's gonna
face him. It's for the division.

Speaker 1 (01:51:55):
Yeah, just the division.

Speaker 4 (01:51:56):
Yeah, absolutely right, just you know, you just want your
division rival to stink. And it feels like Yoga Ravens
and the Bengals just have a sort of a long
way to go, I think. Yeah, just the defensively lose
Tre Hendrickson and now your rival gets Max Crosby.

Speaker 1 (01:52:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:52:12):
How about a couple of other deals while we're talking
NFL here, Khalil Mack he'll be back with the Chargers.
Signed a one year, eighteen million dollar deal, So he'll
be back for his thirteenth NFL season. That's a big
deal for the Chargers. He's still productive, he's still a
very good player. And another one, how about another one?
Sorry I said it the wrong way. How about Jordan

(01:52:32):
Davis highest paid nose tackle now in NFL history. Re
upping with the ege And to me, listen, we heard
the draft, the trade rumors. I mean, that's the predictive market.
That's why the Eagles took the lead for a little bit.
Is that apparently Jalen Carter was on the trade block.
But listen, we talked, Jeff, you laid out teams paying
two wide receivers. You think that the Eagles are going

(01:52:54):
to play two interior defensive linemen they just paid. Yeah,
I know it, right, Like they just gave Jordan Davis
huge money. You think they're paying Jalen Carter huge money too?
No way, Like you're not gonna pay two players in
the same positional group that type of money.

Speaker 1 (01:53:09):
I don't see that happening.

Speaker 4 (01:53:11):
It does seem like Carter is at least they're open to.

Speaker 1 (01:53:16):
Move, right right, Yeah, that's what they're open for business.

Speaker 4 (01:53:20):
It feels like that's where they're at right now. They're open.
They're open for business to to to see if someone
is willing to come up and grab them.

Speaker 1 (01:53:30):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:53:31):
And another couple other kind of under the radar moves,
The Ravens re signed their backup quarterback Snoop Huntley, so
to your deal up to eleven million dollars, snoop. And
we do know how banged up Lamar was in particular
last season, right, he missed quite a bit of action.
So listen, I think that's a that's a very low cost,

(01:53:53):
you know, security in case of emergency break glass.

Speaker 1 (01:53:57):
That's a good, sneaky signing for them.

Speaker 3 (01:54:00):
And yeah, he started the game against the Packers and
that was just he just handed off to Dereck Henry
and that's pretty much all you had to do, snoopluge.
It worked fine in that one, but if Lamar misses,
you know whatever, three four games, that's a sneaky good move.

Speaker 1 (01:54:15):
I think.

Speaker 3 (01:54:16):
And one last one, how about the Cowboys. They placed
a second round tender on their kicker, Brandon Aubrey, So
it's five point seven million dollars. Aubrey can sign an
offer sheet with another team, the Cowboys would have the
right to match, and if they don't, they would get
a second round pickback in return. So sort of letting
him test the market, still have the opportunity to re

(01:54:38):
sign him. But you know, something to keep in mind
is what Aubrey wants like ten million a year, doesn't he?

Speaker 1 (01:54:44):
So yes, the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (01:54:46):
Are basically saying, yeah, it's a little too high, so
let's protect ourselves. Get a second rounder in return, if
you know, it comes to that. So it'd be interesting
to see Aubrey kicking for some other team. I'm not
saying you can't kick out doors, but kicking in Jerry world,
that's pretty nice, pretty good digs over there for him, right.

Speaker 4 (01:55:06):
Absolutely inside like that.

Speaker 3 (01:55:07):
Yeah, yeah, yes, if he's I don't know, they you know,
he winds up in Buffalo or something, the winds swirling,
that's probably a bad example with their you know, their
wind you know, reducing stadium build or whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:55:20):
But you know, you get my point.

Speaker 3 (01:55:21):
If he's kicking in the meadowlands or something like that,
like I don't know, have an impact right there. All right,
we've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper.

Speaker 1 (01:55:29):
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran with us. I'm Brian.

Speaker 11 (01:55:32):

He was first first off with the Schwartz syndicate. Now
he's seen the light.

Speaker 4 (01:56:51):

Anita was my realtor when I got.

Speaker 1 (01:57:31):
To the Giants Get out of here my house.

Speaker 4 (01:57:34):
Yeah, so good. I think that was like a side
and hustle she had back in twenty fourteen.

Speaker 3 (01:57:38):
Yeah, I like, yeah, I met her at a Jason
Barrett conference and what was funny? It was later I'll
tell you a very brief story. So I before it
was like this, you know, like little mixer type thing. Yeah,
and I saw her and I'm like, she's all over
sports betting. I was like, Nina, what's she's super nice
we talked for whatever half hour.

Speaker 1 (01:58:00):
Super nice.

Speaker 3 (01:58:01):
And what was funny is I was watching the show
she was. He was on ESPN BET at the time,
and so I'm watching the show and she was like, gosh,
what was my best bet today? And I knew it.
I'm like, oh, you had the Nuggets plus three and
a half. She's like, yes, how did you know that? Like,
I just I just watched it.

Speaker 1 (01:58:16):
Yeah. So she's really cool.

Speaker 2 (01:58:18):
I did a few shows with her, so yeah, she
is cool.

Speaker 1 (01:58:20):
Yeah, very cool.

Speaker 4 (01:58:21):
She actually gambles.

Speaker 1 (01:58:22):
Yeah, well there you go. Prerequisite for respect, right there.
Gotta gamble. All right, we got some picks to make.
Let's do it.

Speaker 4 (01:58:32):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 1 (01:58:34):
All right, crack, we start with you. What's something you
like today?

Speaker 2 (01:58:37):
Got some college basketball today, some rare favorites. I usually
liked the leaning to the dogs, but they like today.
I think you can lay it with Santa Clara. It's
an eight pm game, so the end of the night.
Don't we chasing all your losses today? What did this game?
But however, eight pm game Santa Clara over Pacific Lane

(01:58:57):
eleven points.

Speaker 4 (01:58:58):
All right. I like Nebraska today, laying five and a
half at home. I always lost five to seven their opponent.
They have not played terribly well. Nebraska just got blown
out by UCLA. Side note, if you get the tournament time,
if UCLA is on the West coast, I would bet
them to be a Sweet sixteen team when on the

(01:59:19):
West coast this year. They have been unbelievably good. When
they leave the Pacific time though, and they have been
unbelievably bad. Just something to note when when the brackets
come out if they play on the West coast. First
couple of games they played very very well. And there's
something like two and sixteen and two years and big
ten road games out out of California. So something to

(01:59:40):
note there when it comes to some future water or
potentially we'll talk about the next week. Well, we want
the Bracats next week.

Speaker 3 (01:59:45):
Yeah, you caught my attention, Jeff. For that total is low, man,
it's one thirty four and a half. Iowa is a
very low Yeah, very slow paced game, not the way they.

Speaker 1 (01:59:55):
Used to play under McCaffrey.

Speaker 3 (01:59:56):
But they scored some points the first meeting between the
So it's gonna be interesting how that plays out. I'll
give you a Karl Anthony Towns give me over eighteen
and a half points.

Speaker 1 (02:00:06):
It's even funny.

Speaker 3 (02:00:07):
But matched up against DeAndre Ayton, I don't think anything
of the Lakers front line. They really struggle in the
front court, lack of big guys. I think Carl Anthony
Towns eats today. I'll take over eighteen and a half points.

Speaker 1 (02:00:19):
Let's get the Cracks play of the day. Let's do this.

Speaker 2 (02:00:23):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 1 (02:00:26):
All right, Crack, what is.

Speaker 2 (02:00:27):
It, buddy. I've been giving you guys some regular season
wins over at bet MGM. I gave you the Astros
under I've thrown in the Twins under. I'm gonna give
you another one, the Cardinals under so underseason wins. Those three,
those three teams have some season long bets.

Speaker 3 (02:00:41):
I could feel it in my heart, in my soul.
You fading the Redbirds.

Speaker 4 (02:00:45):
Crack,
