Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio Radio. Oh what is
going on? Happy Sunday too. You hope all is well
as we get you all set for the masts the
final day of the NBA regular season. Oh, baby, Crack,
this is your nightmare over here. I'm looking at these
points breaks minus twenty three and a half, minus fourteen

(00:22):
and a half, minus thirteen and a half, probably starting
to weep over here. My goodness, this is ridiculous. Good morning, Jeff,
Good morning Crack. All is well with you, guys?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
I hope it is great today, Cam Young. If you
want to win the tournament, that'd be great. If you
want to finish second, also great. One of those two
options would be great with me, which means is not
gonna happen, but I wish it would.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
And Brian, I.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Had made a lot of money in the NBA last
month because all I'm doing is looking at the schedule,
the standings. Okay, can buy them two together and put
them in a parlay every day, and then I'm all
lining everything like I all lined the Hawks the other night,
because the Calves don't didn't care about the game, like
they're just not it is.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
The NFL does this too, I get it.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
The problem with the NBA is that it's not the
game eight either are doing it and seventy nine and
eighty one. It's they're doing it game thirty five. You know, like,
if it didn't happen all season then and then it
happened the other night, one hundred and sixty eight players
did not play in a given year, that's not a
bad thing on the final weekend of the season. The
problem is they're doing it all season long, right, and

(01:28):
so we get to today, You're right, twenty two, thirteen
and a half, fourteen and a half, fifteen and a half.
I mean what, there's two games, Brian within ten and
one of them is really like I think it's with
the Hawk's heat game, right, Like otherwise these games are sort.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Of unwatchable today.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
It's kind of crazy that they've got to this point
of the season, but hey man, it's a long season,
and the games.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Cracked today are gonna be a lot lopside.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Of scores, no warming up in the on deck batter's
box or anything. Schwartz comes right out of the dugout, ignores,
the managers, ignores the batting coaches, ignores. Everyone goes right
to the the in the in the in the box
points to center field. It's the home run starts right
out with parlays six two in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
There we go, six am, let's go. We're doing it.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
No, just right, not even a practice ring boom parlay.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
These these these NBA the teams are not trying. Are
really they're really not trying?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Like it is. It is remarkable.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
You can't you just bet them straight?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I I mean I I mean Toronto is minus four
thousand today.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I don't I don't have that bankroll.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
I'm sorry, No, I mean straight. Oh, so you're betting
moneyline parlays. Yes, yes, Oh, I can tell you one thing.
That's what the book wants you to do.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I mean, the last month, it's it's been, it's been
pretty good. But back to Masters, Cam Young please today, buddy.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Very hard to do, Cam Young, Just to let you know,
I actually for Cam Young too, but very hard to
come back from yesterday that that kind of around and
shoot back to back rounds at the Masters. I'm hoping
you're right, but it's very very hard to do to
do something like that.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
So maybe it'll help out because you know, immediately think
of Rory to your point crack, right, Like he had
a seven under sixty five on Friday. Yeah, and then
he's won over yesterday. So that's the first part of
your what you said, it's hard to do it back
to back days. But the other the difference is Cam
Young isn't quite as hunted as Rory was yesterday. Rory

(03:36):
had the biggest lead after thirty six holes in master's history. Right,
He's got a six stroke lead, and you can just
tell he's not as aggressive and everybody's just trying to
hunt him down. So with cam Young being tied with Rory,
maybe that helps him stay aggressive, right, and he at
least shoots a decent round here. Yeah, Okay, see how

(03:56):
it plays out, man. But I think it's a big
difference between being, you know, the clear leader and being
neck and neck with Rory. I think that that that
puts your mind in a different place in terms of aggressiveness.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
You know, I got these emails from from from I
got a couple of emails that I actually do open,
not not usually, but yesterday I said, let me just
open it from this source. I'm not gonna say the
soor it's a media source, and let me read what
these donkeys say so, sure enough, sure enough, they're gambling donkeys.
To a couple of them, they all said the same thing.

(04:32):
The emails yesterday morning, there was I think eleven people
that commented. There wasn't a single person eleven and oh
that didn't say, yeah, all right, yeah, Rory's got this one.
Let's just play for second, or let's play what you
can make bets without Rory or slash oh or you know,
or w slash oh without Rory, Like it was over.

(04:55):
You had six six stroke lead with thirty six holes
to go on the biggest golfing stage there is, and
and and all. All of these literally I don't want
to call him dummies, but for lack of a better word,
let's call him dummies. All had them saying, oh, yeah,
that's over, Like oh, he's unbelievable what he's doing here
after year and almost instantly out of the box, Rory

(05:17):
comes right out.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
You know, with a couple of weeks.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
You know, Rory's been a dog and a lot of
situations like this in the past, previous Now, granted it's
one of the best golfers of all time, I understand,
but he up until last year's Masters, he really wasn't.
He had a lot of situations where he choked. But
I mean, imagine saying that about one of the top
golfers in the world. Yeah, well, I mean it's just
this is that kind of a stage. So but I'm

(05:43):
just more or less making fun of how these people
and even yesterday morning saying that I had a doctor
friend of mine. It seems like every doctor and.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Then this is a different doctor. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Yeah, yeah. They literally should be poster boys for for
gamblers anonymous. They they they literally the doctor said that
sent me a text and saying you know, hi, Bill,
how are you today? He said, listen, minus one ninety
is just way too low on rory. This was on
during the actual day of Friday during like this is

(06:17):
like maybe after like the eighth hole or something. By
the way, in that situation, the doctor was actually right
because he closed minus like two point fifty. I'm gonna
give an average of two fifty minus two fifty going
into yesterday's round. Before the round started, it was the
there was only one spot I seen with a yes, no,
they had minus two fifty, uh plus two ten, I

(06:39):
guess it was, and the other and then I seen
other sites that at minus two twenty eight and minus
two twenty and then, uh, there was one internet personality
who's half a whacked dough. He's not half a whacked
he's a full whack of dough. He he laid twenty
eight hundred, he laid to eighty, I mean, and he
laid two hundred and eighty thousand to win one hundred
thousand he put to do all over his socials. He's

(07:01):
got a million views, and the people at home, they
get really enamored by seeing bricks of money. And then
he went on to make that video and he said,
I got three hundred and eighty thousand on this, and
he doesn't even realize that he actually bet two eighty.
He said, I got three eight on this. I guess
that means the money that comes back to him. But
yet last night he bet another two hundred thousand, went

(07:23):
to the casino butt another two hundred thousand on Rory.
And that video was him at McDonald's outside picking out
of the garbage can and his girlfriend or whoever girl was, said, oh,
what are you doing? He says, right right now, we
have no money. All our money is bet on Rory McElroy.
But tomorrow I'll be getting close to a million dollars.

(07:43):
We'll be able to eat again. I mean, there's the
epitome of what Bill Krachenberger preaches responsible gambling all the time,
even though he was, you know, probably fooling around. But
a lot of people don't know that. I mean, the
guy's picking out of a garbage can and saying, I
got all my money, I'm all in on Rory. So uh,
there's a lot of people that that would hate this
guy because he's easy to hate, and they're rooting against

(08:06):
just based on this little garbage can prank crack.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
He should have said, oh, actually I'm parlaying it with
the Raptors minus twenty three and a half and then
that you truly would have hated that the most right
he might The opportunity I.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Enjoy though, when a certain sportsbook manager goes after him
on social media and calls him out for his lies.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Yeah, he he he lies.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
All the time about how much he's betting on what
team he's betting on. I mean, the social media manager
will I mean, not to say the casino manager, the
sports manager will be like, no, that's actually not the
bet you made, just like writ him you're lying that
video is not the bet you made so people.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
Yeah, it's so funny.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
I thought it was very into this discussion obviously, you know,
uh yeah, he lies all the time about Look. The
thing about it is that you get paid on social
media now to unfortunately, you know, you get paid by
the view, right, So if you're able to take that
video of yourself with those bricks and money crack and

(09:07):
get a million views, you might make no as much
money on social media, but you're gonna make some money, right, Like.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
It's kind of like a Mattress Mac type thing. You're
just offsetting your losses.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Sure, it's unfortunate. That's where we're at and very interesting.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
I didn't think of that. Maybe that's you know, he
has got twenty five times more followers than me, and
I know I make about three to four hundred dollars
a month, but you know it pays a bill, So
you think about that. If he's getting twenty five xtat yeah, yeah,
he's making a lot of money doing that. He's making himself,
you know, ten thousand a month, and you know doing

(09:43):
that video. You're you're probably right. I wasn't thinking like that.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
But also too, I mean he's got to be a
beard for some people, right, I mean, it's not his
his own money, right, he's on.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
One hundred percent a beard for someone I know, very good, Jeff,
I know we've never discussed this. I don't think I know.
I know you're talking about everyone. It's very od I've
had them on my show. I've had the other guy
on my show. Yeah, no, he's on my podcast. He
he he gets the information from him. He bets his information.
I'm not gonna tell you this golf information is his
because as far as I know, he doesn't do the

(10:13):
golf the originator. But yeah, he's he's betting with someone
else's now granted, some of it's his money, but he's
made a lot of put moneyment in poker in his life,
this kid. And uh, and the apple doesn't fall far
from the tree. His old man is right up his alley.
And uh. You know, when you're taught something your whole
life and see an a race a certain way your

(10:34):
whole life, it's hard to change that around, especially at
a young age. And I'm sure you know he's like
a trust fund kid.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
So, by the way, someone who's put himself in position
to make a lot more money, Scottie Scheffler, how about
rebounding from a two over on Friday's under yesterday a
moving day, amazing round by him. And then also, I'm
just curious, I was thinking about this, are you were
you more impressed yesterday with Cam Young seven under or

(11:03):
more disappointed with Rory when he's got the one over
round after crushing it the first two days. Personally, I'd
be more impressed with Cam Young. If you look at Rory,
it's hard to run it back day after day after day.
You're hunted down. You're a huge leader. A lot of
people that would golfers that would shoot the type around
that Rory had yesterday. I was more impressed with Cam

(11:24):
Young to shoot a seven under sixty five and who
had him tied with Rory like starting out on Saturday,
Like at the end of Saturday, he's gonna be neck
and neck with Rory. No one had that. So I
was more impressed with Cam Young yesterday than disappointed with Rory.
I'm curious what you guys would say about that.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
So the thing about so Cam Young was when seventy
three sixty seven sixty five that cracked your point.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
That kind of does worry me, like he's gonna shoot
another sixty six.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
And today, yeah, we could see one thing that and
Scott talked about this too, like the conditions that the
golf course have been really fascinating this week. Early in
the day there tends to be more look, lower scores, tougher,
tougher course, guys. It is not rained in the south
in a month, like is not rained at all. And

(12:13):
so uh, I mean, I got I've had Paullen on
my property for a month. It just has not rained
and my whole my whole yard is yellow like it
just and so a guts. So if if the grounds
are soft as they're overwatering it, right, Scotti Scheffer's talked
about this because there's just too much water on this course,
are overwatering it and it feels like that really hurts

(12:33):
the golfers more in the morning before the course drives
out again in the afternoon. And so you know it,
I'm curious to see how that affects the course today
and who's most capable of if Augusta makes the course
much harder again, because I mean, look, the scores are
been big lower. I mean a lot of guys are
shooting well, I'm curious if it just and who who

(12:53):
benefits most from that. I would say that guys like
Rory that played this course a long long time would
benefit from the now. Yesterday, the thing about Camp it
was Cam Young and the one who hit the ball
was on eleven off the tree and it bounced right
back into the fairway. He had a couple crazy bounces
to win his way yesterday. I mean Rory just had

(13:16):
to shoot part which he basically did to keep his lead, right,
I mean, so he did the bare minimum and he
was one over. Obviously he battled all day. As poorly
as he played yesterday, he's still tied for first. Yeah, Like,
and I get he had the biggest lead ever after
two rounds and you're right, crack, everyone's the minus six
hundred winner of the tournament. I mean, it's it's insane

(13:37):
where we went with that. But the fact is, like,
as bad as he played, he's still in a great
spot to win. Well, Cam Young has got to do
this again. Right, If you're Sam Burns who shot at
sixty eight, he's been more dec I just don't think
san Burg's with Shane Lowry came what's coming on strong
Jason Day justin Rose to me is sitting sort of
right there three shots back on Shuffler.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
I think Scheffer's gonna have another six under day. I mean,
I don't know why he wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
He's been sort of waiting for this the last month
with Scheffler, like he just has not been playing as well.
It clicked yesterday, and it clicked, by the way, without
him without him burning any of the par fives.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
He hit a six on thirteen yesterday. So if Cheffer.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Sort of gets back to where his averages on those
par fives, I think Scheffer's right in this too. So
I'm looking forward today. I got Cheffer under sixty nine
and a half. I have some money him to win.
I'm kind of all over the board. I don't know
who I need to win to make money in this tournament.
But let's see how this one. Cam Young will be
the best. Obviously, like twenty two to one, that would

(14:36):
be incredible. But cracks right man that doing this a
third day in a row on Sunday in the final
group would be very impressive.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
Now, now I want to use Jeff. I got to
use you as the example, and you're not doing nothing
that Joe public at home is not doing. I have
to ask you this, Yeah, how many different golfers did
you bet to win this golf tournament? I'm gonna say six.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Uh myself? Yeah, including over the three days. I think
I have now uh three, that's all.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
That's good.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
I mean I have looked.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
I thought you mentioned more in our chat. I thought
you mentioned more than that.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
No, I have I took Batilla who just who? Just
ate it? I mean I have top tens and tops fives?
I mean, have I have those wagers?

Speaker 2 (15:26):
But in the tournament I took I put Rory the
other day with the Hawks, so I have that like
a little parlay there so I can get a little
love would value on Rory. And then I have Scheffler
and I have I had Batilla four Cam Young, so
I got four.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
Okay, let me ask you did Is that the only
bet you made live since the tournament started to eat
off on Thursday? Or have you made some maybe top
five or top tens after I'll.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Tell you that exactly. I have one us right here, one, two, three.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
It's a list, folks.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
For well, I can't just keep track. I mean I
write stuff now. Four I think I made six wide wagers.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
Okay, that's actually pretty controlled. To be honest with you,
it's a lot better than I thought. I would have
bet the over runder. I would have went like nine
and a half and I would have went over for
I don't know, a couple of thousand bucks.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
So, I mean, it's just did about it is. It's golf.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
You get caught up in a moment. I get it.
It's everyone.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
But by the way, these are like a lot of
these are not even a half unit right now.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
I knew you were going to say they're peanut betch.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Like even to win even pre flop. I mean it's
a it's a quarter or less of a of a unit.
Like I'm not like putting a ton of money on these.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Yeah, that's they should be a quarter or lesser unit.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
You know, golf is hard.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
I will say I have made you know what, I
take it back. If I've done I've made more than
nine and a half crack. If we include matchups, because
I have taken castin Johnson today and yesterday, which is
paid off, I saw have a couple of matchups that
I that I do have, so maybe it was over
nine a half.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Include those those bets.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
You know what's funny, Go ahead, go crack.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
No, just now I'm saying no, And now you're saying
pre flopped. Though before the tournament started. You're counting the ones, right, Jack.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
No, I'm counting. You said live.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
You made live matchup.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Like like today I took Keithan Bradley over Dustin Johnson,
like I got Dustin Johnson. So that's like, I think
a couple of.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Those, all right, the over nine and a half cashes, yeah,
started that tree the jury and the and the jury
was not.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
What you said. You keep changing the category we're wager
talking about.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
I don't know what the juice was on that crack.
I think you made about seventeen fifty on that, at least.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
I'm not sure exactly. The prosecutor got to him.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
You haven't taken any you've taken note. You've made no
live bets after this entire tournament. One.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
I think I think one make one.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
I like the match live bet guy, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
Live betting. You're you're you're literally laying two and a
half times the juice that you lay pre flop. Now,
if you're betting into all one way market like will
Rory McElroy win the tournament. Now you're betting something with
twenty five plus juice. Matter of fact, I know a
sports book in town that's farge just fifty percent. That's right,
fifty compared to a straight bet is four and a

(18:21):
half percent. Fifty percent juice to bet any of those futures.
So no, I don't bet them at all.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Very like the you don't even like like the matchups,
like the day to day matchup.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Matchups are okay, matchups are different. Now matchups are not.
I bet the field.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
And a round scores. I took the Scotty today under
his nine and a half.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
I took you can under and Rover, right, Jeff under
a Rover? Yeah, I have no problem with that. That
that that is a you know, a five percent juice
rather than fifty percent.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
You mean one way mark? How many one way market
bets do I have? What's your question is?

Speaker 4 (18:54):
Essentially, well, one way markets are what mostly all the
sportsbooks have. Though like there's there's there's no yes snow.
There's one spot that I see what Yes snows on
every player to win the Masters. That has a shot,
which bothers me, which really because nobody has it. It's
a one Way Market. But I'm sorry, Brian, what were
you saying?

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Okay, yeah, I was just gonna say there's something that
you mentioned, Jeff, where at the end of the day,
Rory is still in a great spot to win this tournament,
and it just you would love this in particular, Jeff.
But minds me of football. You know, even though it
feels different, it's the same situation. Right, Like if you
take a team that has third and ten, okay, yeah,

(19:34):
and they pick up nine yards, it's fourth and one.
That feels a lot different than if a team has
third and one and gets stuffed for no gain. It's
fourth and one in either scenario, and you still have
a great chance to pick up the first down. That's
where Rory is.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
You know.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
If Rory had this blistering round yesterday and like pull
vaulted up to minus eleven and tied for the lead,
you'd feel like, all right, here comes Rory, Like that's
not what happened yesterday, and so it feels a lot different.
But put that to the side, he's still in a
great spot to win this thing. Oh yeah, so that
matters the most here, all right, we're often running. We've

to laugh through the quote from Scotty Scheffler. So he
shot a seven under sixty five yesterday and it actually
could have been better. He had a couple of very
makeable putts they didn't drop, and so a reporter was

(22:11):
asking Scottie about what could have been, and so Scheffler responded,
that's just a terrible question. Next question awful. I love that.
It's a great response from Scotty Scheffler right there, and
he did go on later he just didn't like the question,
but he did expand on that and he said, I
felt like I was very sharp with the irons, gave

(22:33):
myself a lot of opportunities. I felt like I took
advantage of those on the front nine, and then the
back nine, I did a lot of good things. I
was really really close to seeing a lot go in.
By the way, a little tisk right there, it's not
the back nine at the Masters, it's the second nine.
So hopefully the golf gods don't penalize Scotty today for that.

(22:56):
It's not the back nine at the Masters, right. They're
not fans, they're patrons. Like, we got etiquette and we've
got standards over here at the Masters.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
And yet it seems like the Masters is really digging
in leading into the old influencer culture. Though it seems
like that the Master's been taken over by influencers this week,
and I'm kind of surprised like that they've gone that direction.
We've seen photos of of celebrities there that seem to
have their phone on the premises, which I know is

(23:25):
I think foreboding from having it seems just incorrect that
the Masters this year feels very much like it's more
of an influencer type event, uh than it's been.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
In the past.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
Very perceptive. That's gonna be my point here too. Yeah,
because the powers that be are very upset about this.
They didn't control it enough this year where they've had
some influencers there and they've had some photos that they've
said they've seen some of the golfers were on the
range with their with their phones and earlier in the

(23:59):
week when someone was on the golf course, Mark Calvecki,
a big name. Uh, he he was literally had his
phone taken from him and was thrown out of the Master.
I don't want people know this. He was thrown off
Augusta the other day, like you know back like I
don't know, I don't know what day it was, but
he was thrown off for having the phone. And yeah, no,
it's they really are. I read a whole thing last night.

(24:22):
That's why I wrote up a little thing about the
about Augusta because I read something from one of the
one of the guys in charge that he was a
little bit upset about the influencer thing. That's not what
they are there. It's a tightly controlled community down there.
People don't realize this. So I've been there half a
dozen times, and you know, outside of those gates, you

(24:42):
wouldn't know you were in Augusta. I mean, it's it's
nothing but banks and fast food and like you know,
it's a kind of a pretty run down a lot
of plays, a lot of areas of it. It just
doesn't look like you. You wouldn't expect that to be Augusta.
You think Augusta is so pristine because of what you
see on the golf course. They an underground system of
trucks and trailers and literally you could drive a tractor

(25:04):
trailer underneath the golf course. They try to show as
little as possible as far as workers or things going
on and listen. It's a majestic masterpiece. It's one of
the most secretly, tightly controlled operations in all of sports.
Decades and generations. To perfect this, Augustas spent two hundred

(25:26):
million just the last ten years buying surrounding real estate
to try to control the atmosphere. Atmosphere e and tighter. Literally,
they have bought restaurants, they bought Wendy. There was a
Wendy's outside the gates they bought that they bought. They
bought an apartment complex and just tore it down and
just made it extra parking, the timing of even of

(25:49):
the azalea blooms. They have the heating units and ice
packs directly on the azalea routes to manipulate their bloom
timing to ensure a peak and the peak and color
for the tournament this week, so they could turn it
up or down when they're gonna bloom, to actually make
sure they bloom right during the tournament. So as far
as security there, it's unbelievable. Nobody hardly knows this now.

(26:14):
I only know this. One reason I started looking into
this was because of my brother in law Secret Service.
He said, you know, the FBI, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation,
state police, even the Pinkertons. Literally, you won't see too
many arms, uniform sheriff department guys. Instead, there are that's right, thousands,

(26:35):
two thousand of these people I mentioned earlier, the FBI
and stuff. They're in, playing clothes, looking the spot, anything
out of the ordinary, just playing clothes with a golf
shirts on. You would never know that. No one's gonna
be intimidated by five thousand workers, volunteers and workers for
this magical, magical weekend. The Masters, like I said, they

(26:58):
control everything, especially their own image. The Masters refuses to
sell any merchandise or anything online, zero e commerce. If
you want anything with a Master's logo, you have to
physically be there. In this one week, eight days, they're
going to gross in upwards of eighty million dollars. It's

(27:19):
it's at I'm talking, I just just at the merchandise stand. So,
CBS also has the contract for decades here, but they're
under a year to year contract. Every single year. The club,
that's right, maintains complete editorial control over every element of
the even of the show broadcasting, even the commercials. So

(27:42):
had I had to read into this more when when? When?
When my brother told me this, I was like, what
do you mean they control the commercials? That's CBS. No,
just to give you a standard, I'm sorry, just to
give you an idea of a standard NFL broadcast that
runs close to twenty minutes of ads per hour we're
on an NFL game. The Masters runs four minutes. Just

(28:05):
think about that. The Masters controls the commercials by the
way they control the advertisers. There's three advertisers. I don't
know them off hand. Mercedes is one. I think there
was a bank. Like there's only three advertisers. That's it.
They don't have tons of different But these advertisers realize
that even though the Masters gets on don't know, twelve

(28:25):
million views compared to one hundred and twenty million from
the NFL or whatever it may be. They just know
that that ad is targeted specifically for that high end
audience that watches the Masters. This is, like I said, guys,
this is the hardest ticket to get in any professional
sports league or anything. These weekly badges, they're held by

(28:48):
legacy owners. They're families that have had the same badges
for fifty years. They're passed down, they're in people's wills.
Who gets my master's my Master's tickets a four day badge?
Do you know how much of four day badges? I
thought it was more than this. A four day badge
is one hundred and forty dollars. That's the actual cost

(29:11):
of the badge. It's one hundred and forty bucks. Now
do you know how much they've sold for this particular
week and last year? This particular Masters and last year's Masters.
You can't get a four day badge. Good luck finding
a four day badge under forty thousand dollars. You cannot
get a four day, but you can't even get one.
Secondary markets do not have it. So saying all this

(29:34):
to tell you my own personal recap.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Hold on, crack. We'll get to that. We got to
work in the great Isaac Lohendrin, I low with the latest.
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (29:43):
I low?

Speaker 8 (29:43):
I can actually good morning, by the way, guys, I
can actually add to this discussion about the master's culture
because we had another chapter yesterday that's coming up shortly.
As for the action itself, going into the final round,
Cameron Young and defending champ Roy McElroy tiede for the
lead at eleven hundred power over yesterday in round three,
Young as seven hundred sixty five and McElroy, who entered

(30:04):
the day with a six shot lead, a one over
seventy three. Sam Burns meanwhile two shots off the lead
at ten under par overall after he shot a four
under sixty eight. It'll be Young and McElroy teeing off
the final round at two twenty five Eastern in Major
League baseball On Saturday night, the Seattle Mariners rallied from
seven to two down on the fifth inning to beat

(30:25):
the Houston Astros eight to seven. JP Crawford the game
winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Dodgers over the Rangers six to three to improve their
record to eleven and three. Show Hey Otani hit his
fourth home run, and the Padres rallied from a four
to nothing third inning deficit to beat Colorado nine to five. Now,
in the nineties, there was a Mel Gibson movie called Ransom,

(30:48):
and it featured the memorable SoundBite that has existed in
pop culture to this day of him screaming.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Give me back my son.

Speaker 8 (30:57):
So here's that from the Here's that from the movie
Ansom in nineteen ninety six for context and in case
people out there missed it anyway. So yesterday at the set,
I actually thought this was made up and was like
audio photoshopped or whatever.

Speaker 7 (31:14):
But it actually happened yesterday.

Speaker 8 (31:16):
Rory McElroy teeing off the seventeenth pole at Augusta and
someone in the gallery yelled, this, here's how it.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Says, give me back my lead or my stroke.

Speaker 8 (31:29):
Something he's they said exactly that. Listen, here's how it sounded.
I thought this was made up, but it actually happened.
Give me back by shot again.

Speaker 7 (31:40):
Here's how it sounded.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
Give me back by shot.

Speaker 8 (31:45):
And by the way, just one final comment here, Uh,
give me back my son is going to be what
the father of the guy who yelled give me back
my son is going to be shouting when when he
finds out, because this guy has got to be in
some sort of interrogation room and has got there. You're

(32:07):
talking about it. The Master's security whoever yelled give me
back my son is probably never ever.

Speaker 7 (32:12):
Going to be heard from again.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
Back to you guys, Wow, thank you, I looe. It
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown presented by Bet MGM. It
kind of reminds me of Adam Silver his tenure as
NBA Commissioner, Right, he comes in like a lion, get
out of here, Donald Sterling, and then it's just you know,
it's it's go ahead, eat ice cream for dinner. You know,
he's that type of parent, like that's what the Masters

(32:35):
has been. Calcuveci. You get out and then we got
cell phones all over the place and give me back
my son. It's crazy all right, Craig, we got time.
Give us your best Master's story. I want to know
all about.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Even like like like Kelsey being there in the program,
like you know, the parks. I'm sick of that. I'm
sick and tired of seeing them. So Jeff, when you
next time we see him, tell him take a hike. Yeah. So,
just sick and tired of him. So anyway, going back
to you know, it's funny, I love brings up a
good point there. Usually you don't see too many idiot,

(33:07):
drunken idiots yelling things like that. That guy, if they
do find the mean, I'm sure he'll be thrown out
of the of the Masters, because usually you don't get
a lot of idiots doing that. But I did notice
people still clap over anything. People are clapping when the
ball gets hit, if it goes in the water, they're clapping.
They just want to clap. They just happy to clap.
Some of the golfers are like, these people are actually

(33:28):
clapping for them for this shot and rolled off the
green And it's not what I wanted to do at all.
But they just clapped for anything. They clap for anything.
So let me just tell you now, So I had
a Friday half badge to go out half today. My
friend gives me half the badge. We split a badge
for the day. And it's kind of dangerous because last
year they really cracked down on the caddies and the

(33:50):
golfers taking their free badges and selling them. And they
were throwing people out left and right, taking their badges away.
And here's what happens too, if you get caught with
selling your badge or someone else in there underneath your name,
which you know, think about all the tens of thousands
of people that goes through those gates every day. But
they do randomly search people this people, where'd you get

(34:12):
the badge from? And I know a caddie that got
his badge taken away. And now when you get caught,
it's taken away for life. So that's just the way
it is. You get you get thrown out of the
thing and taken away for life. So I had half
a badge for Friday. However, this year, the demand for
tickets was so crazy that my buddy call, literally, I
have an airline ticket to go on Thursday. My buddy's like, listen, goreck.

(34:36):
He says, I'm sorry, he said I'm gonna get you.
We're gonna we got a half a Sunday Badge to
go out Sunday, and which is not the big popular
day by the way, this half a Sunday badge and
uh five thousand dollars. I said, okay, bet good done.
Save me a hotel room for that night, no problem.
And then this is great. It's paying for my whole week.

(34:56):
Now comes the Sunday Badge and calls me up late
Friday night and says, listen, I got the half a
Sunday badge sold for another five thousand if you want
to take it, because you've been here plenty of times, don't.
I went for it. I can't believe I did it.
I actually because now look up, look at the setup.
How good it is today. So now it's usually the
Sunday Badges less money, believe it or not. A lot

(35:16):
of the people coming from Japan and stuff, they pay less.
So anyway, that's the story. Sometimes money, I mean, you know, money,
you make me an offer too good to refuse, like
in the Godfather. So I just wanted to make you
guys laugh. I'll be heading to the Hilton Head. But yeah,
the Master's Badgers that were sold.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
There you go, Wow, that's wild man. I still want
to hear more about this. We'll work in a little
bit more as we go along.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Didn't do anything, make ten grand?

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Hey, there you go. And then you took what you
took twenty percent of that and made more money when
you took Jeff, you know, over ninety and a half
masters live bets right there. So very good. We got
Bill Krachenberger, professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Yes, the platter which have one selection for you. We
pool it together for a greater Payoutkman, we start with you,
what's something you'd.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
Like lat right here? Guys, Sorry about that, man, I
don't set up here since we're doing it's a parlay,
and I usually don't put big favorites in. Going to
go with the New York Metropolitans today for my portion
of the parlay over at MGM minus a dollars seventy.

(37:41):
So the Mets over over the Athletics.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Okay, I like the Ools today on the money line
against the Giant it's minus one.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
I mean if Benny as the Giants is a smart business.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
In general, the worst offense at all of baseball atroches yesterday,
No surprise. Povic oils picture gets a lot of hard
contact outs. He's he's a good picture. The gihnt's gonna
struggle with him. In my opinion, I just I've been
fade my Giants today, so I'll think the Orioles.

Speaker 1 (38:16):
Well that quick it. Let's make it a baseball parlay
over here. I'm gonna look at the uh the first
three innings under in this Marlins Tigers game, Sandy al
Contra has been lights out the first time through the lineup. Insane.
He's allowed two hits. And he's gone through the three
times he's gone through these you know, the the order,

(38:39):
the first time through the batting lineup, you know, so
twenty seven batters he's allowed two hits. That's insane, that's crazy.
So and Scooble is going for the Tigers here, and
he's been very stingy first time with the order as well.
So I'm gonna go under one and a half runs
in the first three innings in that Marlins type game

(39:00):
is what I have for you. So if you parlayed
those three things together, let's see, Jeff, you let you're
fading your giants. You got the Orioles on the money line, Crack,
you got the Mets minus a dollar seventy on the
money line. If you parlay those three things together plus
four forty five, so about four and a half to one.
Not bad, not bad.

Speaker 4 (39:20):
Brian, We we had some show last week giving out
we were on a run.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Yeah, on record, we do, Crack. We have audio highlights
of us being on fire last week that we'll get
to right around the corner. Very fired up about that.
But yeah, Jeff, we thought about saying you had to
stay in Mexico. That's how hot we were.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
So I think my wife would have appreciated that. So
I think you would have liked if could have said
still a little bit longer.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
You imagine that conversation, honey, we have to stay in Mexico.
Brian and Krack said that they didn't miss any picks,
so we have to stay here.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
Are you cool with that I think you would for that.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Yeah, anytime we had got chef and everything, how was
that awesome?

Speaker 1 (40:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (40:04):
I had to come back home and like cook myself,
put on dishes away.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
What's the most obnoxious thing you asked to be made?

Speaker 3 (40:11):
No, he made, they made, We preset the menu.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
So you didn't get to go a la carte, not
like I feel like some salmon right now, nothing like that.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
He helped.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
He did himself for the kids like that, like you
can grow cheese or whatnot or something in front base
for the kids. But for the food was incredible. I
did no questions. Nothing you need to be changed.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Get you guys live in the high life over there.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
Yeah us though, so it made.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
Sense, very fire, very nice. Happy for you about that?

Speaker 4 (40:39):
All right?

Speaker 1 (40:40):
Coming up next, We've got more stories and uh a
soap opera for the ages.

Speaker 6 (40:47):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
Oh what does go on? Happy Sunday to you, Happy
final day of the Masters. Hope all is well? All right?
So more golf to get to got some hoops on
the menu, a little bit of ball, a little bit
of football on the menu, as well as the betting
odds have shifted. We'll get to this later in the hour,
where the betting odds and the market for the number

(41:21):
two overall pick have shifted. Also, the Rookie of the
Year odds have shifted in the NBA. I'll tell you what,
I'm gonna come on glued here in about I don't know,
I'll call it thirty minutes. Some of the arguments for
Cooper Flag brain dead. I'm not saying there isn't an
argument to be made, but some of these arguments on

(41:42):
the behalf of Cooper Flag to win the award are
the dumbest arguments I've ever heard in my life. So
we'll get to that in about thirty minutes. We were
saying this though, Jeff Krack and I we had a
day last Sunday, so you were with your family in
Mexico and you try to make it work no Ethernet connection,
so you know we had to make do without you. Sorry, Jeff,
And yes we're we were feeling the loss last week.

(42:07):
But we have compiled a little bit of audio highlights
of our picks last week Okay, now you would be
proud of this. We're counting one lean as a win,
Jeff right, like you got to count your leans as wins.
We also count our leans as losses, so that differentiates
ourselves from some other people here. But listen to Crack
like you gotta be listening from the get go. Crack

(42:29):
hits you with a left hook with the Cincinnati Reds
out of the gate. But listen to this. This is
a Krack and I from from last week.

Speaker 4 (42:37):
Check this out. Cincinnati Reds first, Texas bet MGM plus
one oh five. We're just gonna go with the side here,
Cincinnati the road dog.

Speaker 1 (42:46):
Here, I'm gonna look to the nit. I think we're
gonna get some scoring here in this Auburn game. I'll
take it over one and a half if we pulled
those two things together here, Crack, we're looking at about
a plus two to eighty three payout.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
Believe it or not. Going to the big star here,
Lebron James over twenty five and a half points.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
It's gonna be the Lebron James Show against the Dallas Mavericks.
So I'll go over thirty five and a half points
in a sixty.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
Live dog here, big dog. One of the worst teams
in baseball, everyone says the Colorado Rockies plus a dollar
forty at home against the Phillies today. I think they
can hang in there, keep it closer, and hopefully get
a nice money lined up.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
I'm gonna go with this Lakers MAVs game. No one's
defending anyone, Crack, There's no defense being played today. Give
me the first half over one nineteen and a half.

Speaker 4 (43:37):
I lean to the underhere. This is not my best
play today, but I leaned to the Connecticut Michigan under
first half. Little tighter coming out there. As far as
baseball goes, Let's go with the Astros over ten runs today,
Houston Astros game on the over ten ten flag.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
How about a couple of props I'll throw your way, crack.
How about Lindeborg under six and a half rebounds, lays
along the perimeter quite a bit, ankle, knee, I don't
know how many rebounds. How about Alex Caraband to go
over twelve and a half. You've been quiet the last
couple of games. How about that ten and o combined
last week? And your guy David s is like, crack,

(44:14):
I need your plays no love, no love for me.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
That's very unusual to go ten and O. And I'm
not one that talks about what have you done lately
or just last weekend or something. But you know, it's
been a it's been a good year. The way I
have run on this show is unbelievable, lifetime ridiculous. So
I have done really good giving out picture on Fox

(44:38):
Sports Radio on the Countdown Show. I'm really happy with it,
and uh, hopefully we continue that streak.

Speaker 1 (44:44):
Absolutely, Yeah, no doubt.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
My text messages weren't working great, so I don't know.
I think I sent you guys four plays. I got
three of the four right last week. I don't know
if you have.

Speaker 3 (44:53):
Ever aired those, Brian, but yeah, l A, that was
right South Carolina four and a half. Yeah I had.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
I think I had Auburn, which barely cover. I had Oklahoma,
which was up there, what twenty five and lost the
n T game, which was bad. Uh, and then I
had one other one. I think in basketball that.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
We actually have highlights of that, Jeff, if you want
to run with that.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
No, I don't think I'll pass the highlights of myself
sending in my own messages, but I did.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
I did, did the you It was a good hit
because I had a couple.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
Of different ways. So yeah, won by twenty eight ten
t get ten?

Speaker 4 (45:29):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (45:30):
I mean look all look, I mean, if Scott was
to pay me the miss, I'll go hang on my
kids for three hours and you all can talk and.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
Give international Yeah yeah, yeah, right, all right.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
We had a good time, man. I'll tell you what,
we had a great time. If Dustin Johnson wants to
continue playing bad golf today, but even better if you
if Young would today, I might never see guys again.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
So I don't know. Yeah, I think that's a pretty
good score for your boy.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
Got that much riding on Cam Young? Huh, all right, No.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
It's just it's just I got a good number. That's it.

Speaker 1 (45:59):
It's not it's not all right, Well that's good. I
gotta get your thoughts on the soap opera rocking the
NFL right now, Mike Rabel, head coach of the Pastry.
It's Diana Russini, lead NFL insider reporter for The Athletic
And so you've probably heard about this story. I'll give

(46:21):
you the cliffs notes version. They were seen at a
you know, an adult's only resort, they're both married, they
both have kids, they both have partners, but they're seen
at this resort together. There are photos they're they're staring
deeply into each other's eyes, they're interlacking fingers, they're dancing,

(46:41):
and some of the pictures. So they both deny anything
nefarious is going on here. Mike Frabel says, these photos
show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise it's laughable.
This doesn't deserve any further response. Diana Russini, she is like, Hey,
this happens. Reporters interact thing with sources. This is the
way it goes. Yeah, I just don't think that Rabel

(47:04):
is staring deeply into Jay Glazer's eyes, you know. I
don't think he's dosey doing with schefter over there.

Speaker 4 (47:09):
You know.

Speaker 1 (47:10):
So they're gonna downplay it all they want, But there's
another investigation here. The Athletic is reinvestigating Diana Russini and
her coverage and her relationship with Rabel, and Rabel's gonna
be fine, I don't know. Like the interesting part is
Russini's contract is set to expire this summer, giving her

(47:30):
a contract extension at this time. Yeah, I don't think
that's gonna happen here. So your thoughts, Jeff, what do
you think about this whole thing?

Speaker 2 (47:38):
So it is not uncommon for NFL insiders to mingle
with coaches, right, I mean that's something that happens often.
And so there's a photo them at a bar together.
I mean that happens like that. That's not how the
ordinary in my opinion, the interlocking hands on the rooftop
of the hotel is a tough look. Yeah, that one is.

(48:01):
I would guarantee if we send it to our snifficing others. Hey,
if you caught me. Take if I was up on
the top of a couple's only hotel interlocking my hands
with another woman, it was that looked like to you,
you know, like that, they'd be like, are you look
you're you're sleeping with her?

Speaker 4 (48:18):
Right?

Speaker 9 (48:18):
Like?

Speaker 2 (48:19):
I mean that that that's the tough one. And look,
they're adults. They're free to do whatever they want. I
don't think anyone's judging them. I mean you can judge them.
I feel bad for their spouses. They're married, right, I mean,
those are those are fine feelings to have, But they're adults.
They're consenting adults that could do what they want. I
see the argument on the internet. Well why is there
no pushback on Vrabel? Well, it doesn't compromise his job

(48:43):
at all, Right, Like Dyna Verssini's supposed to be someone
who gives us information based on the sources she accumulates.
But she's not be sleeping with them either, right like that,
That's that's the difference here. But both are bad, right
Like we're I'm married, cracks married like i'm them. It's bad, right,
Like I feel bad for their spouses. I have to
see this publicly play out. I don't know who took

(49:06):
the photos either. That's one part of this where it's
like did someone higher PI because it's not like GMZ
was camping out this at this at this resort, waiting
to take these pictures. But the fact is, like this
compromises her job. I don't compromise Rabel's job. He might
be a scumback for doing this, but that doesn't really
comprise his job as a coach. It does compromid Danny
Rossini's job because you're supposed to you know, not induct

(49:30):
and you know, conduct this behavior while you're covering a
coach of a team so crack that they interlocking fingers one, Matt.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
That was bad. That was bad, And like I could buy.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
They were in a pool with other people and they
just happen to be caught taking near each.

Speaker 3 (49:47):
Other in the pool.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Their clothes are on, of course, like they're not touching
each other at all. It's odd. I'm sure. I don't
think Chefter is in a pool with Mike Rabel in
the hot tub. Okay, you know, like whatever, but they're
locking fingers one. And then of course the jokes the
internet over this were great. There were some good, like
all the barstool employees to picture of themselves interlocking around Chicago.

Speaker 3 (50:07):
Funny it be, But you know that was bad.

Speaker 4 (50:11):
Yeah, listen, this happens in every walk of licee and life.
I mean, just look at what's going what happened in
the White House the last hundred years, I mean literally
in the Oval office. I mean, there's been so many
presidents caught with and now there's books that are out
on it. And even this is even like from the
beginning of time. Give me a break, big deal. I

(50:32):
don't want to hear about it. I don't care about it.
Doesn't affect how I look at handicapping A game or anything.
But I know it's not a good look for sports
reporters and NFL coaches. It just goes to show you
they're human, and it also goes to show you what
extremes these reporters will go to, maybe even get inside information.
I mean, you can assume that kind of stuff goes
on way more than people think. So these two were.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
Just well, I actually I have a question for you,
Crack though.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
This could potentially affect the odds of a wager you
want to make if if information gets out that shouldn't
be out or that or that is trying to favor
the Patriots, And I mean a buddy of mine share
a story about information that got out that the Titans
wanted c J. Stroud potentially and it came came from

(51:22):
her in the draft and then the Texas trade up
for Stroud in front of the Titans, Like it could
potentially if it could potentially affect your job, if information
gets out that that leads to a wager loss, it's
potentially possible in the situation.

Speaker 4 (51:38):
If it involves something that goes that deep that can
actually affect the line on season wins or their future
or something, then that's.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
It's unlikely, but I'll tell you in the prettic sure
market though, like like she was been pushing AJ Brown
to be traded the Patriots a lot on social media
and I made a way on that months ago, and
I'm gonna actually make money on it. I think I
think he's gone. I think J Brown's gone. It seems
very likely he's gone on June first or June second,

(52:07):
whatever it is. But like that's that you can't wagering
that a traditional sports book, but in a prediction market,
you absolutely can use that information you find on social
media to make some of those alternate agers. So it
can affect your job, essentially your money a little bit.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
But you're right, Crack.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
In the end, it's of all things that happened in
the world today, it's not very high up on the
priority of caring about, but it is in our world.
I think, interesting story because of who's involved.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
Yeah, yeah, no, absolutely, And that's the thing man, the
layers to it. Yeah, it doesn't really impact the betting market.
You brought up a really good point with the draft
with c. J. Stroud and the Texans moving ahead of
the Titans, that that's an interesting angle for sure. That happened, right,
But there aren't too many layers.

Speaker 2 (52:55):
Now, No, especially if draft pops now are like Apostle,
It's actually impossible. I crack would I'm on the under
for draft wagers, buddy, So don't you worry on that
than that if you hadn't set over on that one,
the draft feels impossible to wager on now.

Speaker 4 (53:10):
Remember years ago though, how good it was? Right.

Speaker 2 (53:13):
I got an information I think I passed along to
you guys about Travon Walker going first overall, like he
was still three to one, like months in advance, and
I made I took him one Hutchison two that year,
so much money.

Speaker 4 (53:25):
Now it's like a possible it is I used.

Speaker 1 (53:28):
To years ago. You could literally I would get you know,
like Schefter whatever. I'd have a buddy that is just
monitoring Chefty's feed and he'd tell me. You'd be like,
all right, the chargers are taking so and so, and
the books hadn't reacted quickly enough, like you know, And
I was able to get down wagers having the information

(53:49):
of who they're gonna pick already. Yeah, and so they've
tightened the screws greatly. Like you can't do that now, man,
they're just like people are winning. No, no, no, we're not.
We can't have this anymore, you know, and they're not
as they're not as open. It's it's almost like a
fighter that doesn't have their their hands up protecting themselves.
That's how the books were with the NFL draft before,

(54:10):
but not anymore. They're protecting themselves at all times.

Speaker 2 (54:13):
No, and this draft too is specifically just really a crapshoot,
Like there's it's one is Mendoza and then some combination
of Bailey, Reese's two and three and then who knows
who and even three. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised
that Bailey was there three in Arizona fields, some calls
to move up right for Cowboys call up and you

(54:36):
know it could be to me, a really unpredictable draft.
And so there's not even a lot of things I
feel great about even look at odds now, there's just
not a lot of wagers that you look at and
you think, like, man, I there was a report day
that the Browns like Cadan Proctor of Alabama at six.

Speaker 3 (54:53):
But the number moves so fast. If you take it today,
you've missed out on.

Speaker 2 (54:57):
You know, it was twenty five to one now tend
to one, Like, it's just you've missed out on a
lot of the value of that of that anyway, So
it just to me the draft is really hard to
wager on now and and it's unfortunate, but you know,
it is what's what it's become.

Speaker 4 (55:15):
I'll do it because of the limits. The limits are
too low. They've lowered the limits to peanuts compared to
what they used to be.

Speaker 6 (55:21):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (55:21):
Here in Nevada, we have a law that says we
can't even bet the day of the draft, so they
take all the markets down at midnight. So it's really
little different. Yes, yes, so there, so there's there's nothing
to really go by, like like it was years ago.
Years ago, I used to travel to New Jersey for
the NBA and NFL drafts. I would actually travel across

(55:42):
the country just to be there for this particular market.
And I don't do it anymore.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
By the way, I got a quick question for you,
real fast. They're just thinking up the top of my head.
With Diana Roussini, if she were employed by another company,
could this potentially be less of a big deal for her?
Does that make sense right?

Speaker 2 (56:03):
Well, Like, who would like like if it was like Barstool,
or like if it was.

Speaker 1 (56:07):
Maybe yeah, maybe the Barstool. I don't Fox Sports is
a lot more relaxed, you know, I don't know, I
don't know if yeah, but you know, I think she's
at the Athletic and there it's New York Times, Like
this is journalism, this is integrity, this is we know,
we don't you know, like that's the thing, but it's
a much bigger deal who she's employed by.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
I think if it was one of the sort of
you're talking about, like legacy media, right like New York
Times and ESPN, probably Fox probably not great either.

Speaker 3 (56:38):
I know that you know that there's but if if.

Speaker 2 (56:41):
You're sort of more of like the the multimedia type company,
like I don't want to call them blog companies because
they're not blogs anymore.

Speaker 3 (56:50):
But like, if you're.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
One of one of those companies, I the Ringer, Barstool,
I think you're probably okay, probably find even though I
don't know if you guys have seen some of the
scandal with the uh with one of the guys at
barstool using bookies and not paying them, which is.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
Kind of yeah, I saw that that.

Speaker 2 (57:12):
Like this seems to be real evidence that that I
would still I feel like Stiff and Bookies is still
not good in twenty twenty six, crack, I feel like
that's not.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
A What I took from that story is you should
go by the big CLV. That should be your a leen.

Speaker 3 (57:25):
Yeah, sure, yeah, I'm sure. Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:28):
Just every just just every l I take with CLV,
that would be that.

Speaker 3 (57:33):
I'm I'm I'm good on that.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
But I think I think you're right, Brian, Right, Like,
if you know, legacy media probably not good to have
this story come out. It's also again like a day
if this came out the day of the draft. I mean,
I don't hop people were even talking about it, but
it came out as sort of a dead football time
right the draft. This year, there's like no buzz whatsoever
on the draft, and it just came out of time

(57:57):
when everyone's so focused on the story. And so I
think it became a big store because of what you said,
the legacy media part of it. NFL coach uh sort
of trusted voice when it comes to NFL insider information.

Speaker 3 (58:10):
Right, But she's good.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Her job is got good contacts, putt put out good information.
And the interlocking fingers on top of the hotel and
Sedona couple's only resort and before the owner's meetings. Right,
So it wasn't during the owner's meetings. I think a
couple of days beforehand interlocking fingers, looking at each other's eyes.

Speaker 3 (58:34):
I'm you know, I'm gonna ask me. I'm gonna I'm
gonna see what my wife says about.

Speaker 4 (58:38):
The I want to hear that.

Speaker 1 (58:40):
Yeah, it's funny because a lot of people talk about
this and like, well, we don't know the full context. Wait,
we don't know if this or that. It's like a
partner doesn't think like that, and like run it by
your wife, Jeff, and just like here's the scenario. How
would you react. It's not like, well, we don't know
the context of what my husband, Jeff Schwartz is doing.
No hands, zero chance.

Speaker 3 (59:02):
No doubt.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
We hugged each other after the interlocking fingers. Picture a
man not good, not good.

Speaker 1 (59:08):

Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Ah, yes, sir good Man. Christian Cipolini, BETMGM Senior Trading
Manager joining us now, Good morning to you, Christian. Okay,
let's get down to it. The Master's Final Day, which
golfer within striking distance of winning the Masters would be
the best result for you guys at bet MGM. Which
golfer winning would be the worst result.

Speaker 5 (01:01:09):
Yeah, Hey, how's it going, Tom? Yeah, so obviously that's
the big one of the day, the Masters. Far and
away our biggest avoid that we have right now in
the book is Scotty Scheffler. You know, it's one of
those situations where typically he's far and away the biggest favorite.
He started way behind Rory, getting a huge lead into

(01:01:30):
Friday put him at a pretty big price where people
were still taking him, so that one's far and away
our biggest liability, and then after that the next one
is Cam Young is another big one for liability for us.
So avoiding those two is what we'd like. We're actually
okay with Rory winning. He wouldn't be our ideal outcome,
but that would be okay from this perspective. But I

(01:01:51):
guess our ideal outcome would be if Sam Burns to
get there or Jason Day. Those who are far and
away our biggest outcomes, So those would be the ones
in book Root for.

Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
Do you guys see a sort of an uptick in
live wagers? We're talking about this earlier today, crats it
over Underham. I've made as far as like the one
way Market's top five, top tens outright winners winner without
you know, Ry was up six strokes. I imagine the
winner without market was was pretty hot the other day.

Speaker 9 (01:02:21):
Yeah, of course, and live vetting.

Speaker 5 (01:02:23):
Is really popular, especially with golf, just the nature of
it and you're sitting there watching it. It's such a
long event. It's throughout the day, four days, so people
will be taking it live throughout. Yeah, the winner without
markets will get interesting. It's always an interesting flow of how.

Speaker 9 (01:02:38):
Things are going.

Speaker 5 (01:02:39):
So we would see, for example, our tournament winner market
start to take less action on Friday as Rory has
a six stroke lead. That's when we're taking a lot
less action on tournament winner and things like top five,
top ten, your winners without those are the ones that
will then start taking action. You know, as at that
moment it appeared that you know, Rory might be uncatchable. Obviously,

(01:03:00):
then yesterday happened, we're right back in to think that
things getting a lot more live bets on that main
tournament winner market. But yeah, it'll all kind of ebb
and flow depending on what's going on.

Speaker 4 (01:03:09):
Christian, do you guys actually have a situation where you're
actually lose money if these guys win the tournament, like
like if cam Young wins or if comes Cheffer comes back,
will you actually lose money to the market or to
the overall futures market or is it just it'll just

(01:03:29):
hurt a little bit.

Speaker 5 (01:03:31):
Cam Young would be more of just a hurt, you know,
not a great Master tournament for us. Scotty would be
one that is, you know, one where we certainly lost
money at this point.

Speaker 9 (01:03:41):
And yeah, just a lot that bends a lot going on.

Speaker 5 (01:03:44):
With just his big name, He's made a lot of
these comebacks kind of his season so far, he's played
pretty poorly the first two days and then kind of
ramped it up the last you know, Saturday into Sunday.
So people have kind of seen that. And also he's
just you know, such a big and polarizing name that
you know, you see him at a at a big number,
you know, plus a thousand, whatever he may have been,

(01:04:05):
you know, you're gonna end up taking that. So that's
what we've seen in people taking it. So yeah, trying
to avoid that.

Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
And would you say this, this is the biggest volume
of masters bets you have seen, uh since your time
here in the gambling in the sports betting field. Is
this Would this master's be the number one masters out
of all the masters that has been wagered on?

Speaker 5 (01:04:26):
Yeah, well, have to see how today finishes, but I
would expect it would just off of you know, kind
of just still natural growth to kind of still ends
up happening. You know, nothing so far has made this
you know, you know, we still have this all day
to finish up to kind of figure out if it'll
end up being an iconic Masters or not. But from
a handles standpoint, Yeah, I mean the action has been great. Obviously,

(01:04:49):
Friday got a little bit away from us when it
started looking like it was a huge lead, but yesterday
really turned things around and helps. You know, it's always
much better even for the sportsbook. You know, the sports
book and the TV ratings will probably end up working
about the same. It's just as good for the sportsbook
when it's a close finish at the end. So we're
also kind of hoping for something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
Is there anything you need in the NBA today? It's
just such a random day with it being the final
day of the regular season. Do you have any great
needs on a day like this?

Speaker 9 (01:05:21):
Yeah, I assume we were going to talk to this
one today.

Speaker 5 (01:05:24):
Today is actually one of my least favorite days on
the sports calendar, the last day of the NBA season,
just because there is just.

Speaker 6 (01:05:34):
So much unknown.

Speaker 5 (01:05:35):
And when I say so much unknown, almost everything is
unknown home in this season, in particular, with a lot
of teams that have been tanking and not really putting
out lineups of players that may have been known players,
a lot of two way players, So today makes it
really difficult realistically what you're gonna end up seeing. You know,
for us and probably many else across the industry is

(01:05:58):
just way less props and way markets out there. You know,
a lot of games today are pretty uncompetitive. Of course,
there's plenty on this calendar where at least one team
is playing hard and has.

Speaker 9 (01:06:09):
Insense of to win, But there's.

Speaker 5 (01:06:11):
Also a few on today's calendar that, you know, some
teams may be more incentivized to lose, and that makes
things really difficult to price up from a book's perspective.

Speaker 9 (01:06:19):
So I'll be excited.

Speaker 5 (01:06:21):
When today's NBA is done. Last year they did this
last day at one o'clock and three o'clock Eastern time
all the games, and today is at six and it's
at eight. So it even makes it a little bit
more difficult on us that we have these games dragging
later into the day, games that particularly the sports books
don't really want to see today. So yeah, my least

(01:06:41):
favorite day on the calendar might be today.

Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
Toronto is out to minus ten thousands supporting.

Speaker 2 (01:06:50):
Okay, I got the specific game from eiliar days just
because I had it on the last leg of a
crack closure ears or a moneyline parlay, so the Nuggets
had to win. I felt like and Oakley c was
resting their starters and that was note for like forty
eight hours, and then like an hour before the game,
Denver goes, ah, you know what, we're not playing anyone today.
The number one from ten and a half down to

(01:07:11):
two and a half. Now Denver won won by twenty Anyways,
on a game like that, like you do, how are
you approaching that? When the news changes like that went
out of out of nowhere. The conventional wisdom was the
Nuggets had to win because they wanted to keep that
three seed, and all of a sudden that just like
they decided an hour before the game.

Speaker 3 (01:07:28):
Ah, never mind, we don't really care anymore.

Speaker 5 (01:07:32):
Yeah, those ones may get so difficult because you know,
us from in the sportsbook we nowadays and this information age,
we have a lot of the same information that everybody
else has. So you know, we're seeing in the same
perspective that we think that they need to win, and
we're pricing it is that they need to win.

Speaker 9 (01:07:48):
And then you know, when you get those sudden.

Speaker 5 (01:07:51):
Changes, it is very difficult for the book because we
need to just kind of take everything, We take the
whole game down, reassessed, after we rerun sims and and
trying to see where this new game was set up.

Speaker 7 (01:08:01):
And then it's always some because.

Speaker 9 (01:08:02):
Then we don't know fully what this lineup will be.

Speaker 5 (01:08:05):
So this always makes this end of the season in
the NBA, which is really really tough trying to figure out,
trying to figure out what noise is real and.

Speaker 6 (01:08:13):
What noise is it.

Speaker 4 (01:08:16):
I have a question about the NFL futures market already
here in April. So I went down the other night
to the to the Cosmo to bet MGM, and I
was going to bet some NFL futures and I figured
I get a little bit lower limits, and you guys
are one of the only people that have these markets up.
So I got to give credit to you and bet

(01:08:37):
MGM for that. But what are the difference between now
and draft time? I don't think that that's what I
was told by the way. Yeah, they're not really accepting
no bigger bets right now, but at least you guys
have a market up because of the NFL Draft. I
just didn't think there was a difference. I don't think
one team will affect we'll move half of a game

(01:09:00):
because of this year's NFL draft. Is that something that
you think can happen. Do you think that there could
be teams that will will move because of the NFL
Draft this year? Like, like I said, I wanted to
bet a couple, but I went to bet the first one,
and I said, you know what, I'm not putting these
in because of the limits. That is that the case, Well, well,
limits be raised maybe after the NFL Draft, And if so,

(01:09:23):
why what would that really make a difference on season wins?

Speaker 5 (01:09:28):
Yeah, you know what, you're making a pretty interesting point.
It's specifically probably to this season, and maybe not to
a few seasons. Pass for one, this draft. Really just
having like one quarterback that could kind of change things
is probably what a big difference is. You're right, this
year probably will not have a major difference or season
win totals coming out of this draft, barring any major

(01:09:49):
trade that could happen, There's probably not going to be
too too many crazy differences. Probably more just a kind
of an industry standard of we tend to wait for
the draft, or you know, previously it used to be
wait to the draft to start releasing those markets.

Speaker 9 (01:10:03):
So we're actually kind of earlier.

Speaker 4 (01:10:04):
You guys are, yeah, so yeah, and and and you're
let me tell you, man, you n percent of people
are happy with the limits. I'm not saying that just
that you know, I'm an animal. I know there are
five thousand on the Eagles under like like gum nuts.

Speaker 7 (01:10:16):
Yeah, yeah, No.

Speaker 5 (01:10:17):
I just was more of a point that you know,
we probably kept our limits to standard as we've done
it over previous years. But the way that this draft
probably will shake up is probably not a lot will.

Speaker 7 (01:10:26):
End up changing now in other years.

Speaker 5 (01:10:28):
Where there might be four or five quarterbacks that might
be considered you know good and maybe could change to
direct to these teams and you don't know what team
they're going to go to. That's you know, one where
this book's going to want to protect themselves and and
maybe have a lot lower limits. But you're right, this
year is a year that I wouldn't expect many major
changes what we currently have.

Speaker 1 (01:10:46):
Cool all right, Christian, great stuff as always, man crushed
it and uh, thanks for the time, man, We'll catch
you soon.

Speaker 9 (01:10:53):
Have a good day, of course, big dang, good luck everybody.

Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
Yeah, big day. Indeed, there is Christian Sippolini Betting GM
senior trading manager. All right, we go from the half
of the law firm Sipolini to the other half in
Lowencron Isaac. With the latest going on, I low.

Speaker 8 (01:11:10):
Well, Brian, in my best legal vernacular, we have more
evidence that this year's Masters has gone completely off the
rails that coming up just moments from now.

Speaker 7 (01:11:21):
First of all, atop the leader board.

Speaker 8 (01:11:23):
We've got Cameron Young and defending champion Roy McElroy tied
for the lead at eleven under par overall. On Saturday.
In round three, Young shot at seven under sixty five.
McElroy meanwhile a one over seventy three. That was the
highlight of the day for McElroy. Anyway, Sam Burns two
shots out the late of ten under par overall after
a four under sixty eight, Young and McElroy gonna tee

(01:11:46):
off the final pairing at two twenty five eastern. All right,
this is again one of these things that I thought
had to be AI, had to be made up, and
it actually happened at the Masters just time ago. Sergio
Garcia is on the course in the final round as
we speak, and is not having a good round. He

(01:12:09):
bogied three of his first four holes and was so
displeased with his t shot on the second hole that
he repeatedly smashed his driver on the ground and then
used his driver to whack the water cooler next to
the tea box. Here's how it sounded, and what makes
this melt down even more hilarious is that if you

(01:12:31):
listen very closely, you can hear the local Augustine National
birds chirping serenely in the background while Garcia is absolutely
losing it. Listen and add insult to injury. When Garcia

(01:12:52):
whacked the water cooler there, he broke the club head
of his driver off, So he's gonna have to play
the rest of the round without a driver, which I
never realized because nobody's ever really done that in golf tournaments.
If you have an issue with your equipment, you can't
go to big five in the middle of the round.

(01:13:13):
Garcia today is three over through five, is at plus
eight overall, nineteen holes off the lead, but still time
for a comeback.

Speaker 7 (01:13:21):
I suppose back to you guys.

Speaker 4 (01:13:23):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
I love fire up those live bets. Jeff, huh, I'm
sure it's baked into the line right there.

Speaker 4 (01:13:29):
Driver.

Speaker 3 (01:13:30):
I mean, you got to think on some of the
longer holes. It's a problem.

Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
Like I probably eleven yesterday was hellish eleven yesterday. It
was the hardest hole on the course. There were twenty
three double either bogie or worse, and there were only
thirty one pars and Birdie's five birdies twenty six pars

(01:13:56):
and then twenty three. I might, like, I might wager
on Garcia to boggy that hole, just just like because
he's had one of those things.

Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
We'll get Eleven still a couple holes off, but that was.

Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
The hole that got Rory right. He hit it in
the drink on you.

Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
Yeah, that's the one Cam Young hit off the tree.
I mean, eleven was really really tough yesterday. It's been
the hardest hold in the course. Again, wh when you
have nearly half of the golfer yesterday going plus on
that hole, It's it's a pretty tough hole there. And
so I'm curious to see how it plays today. Whether
there's a you know, an advantage to maybe being able

(01:14:32):
to live wager against some of these really bad golfers
as they give me Schwartzel today's three under or three
over ready. Garcia three over ready today. So there's some
some tough rounds early on.

Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
Yeah, absolutely tough out there, tough condition all right, We've
got Bill Krachenberger, professional professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight

(01:15:55):
time for the ti Raq play of the day. Just
a seven iron from Shane Lowry here at the part
ninety yards downhill back.

Speaker 4 (01:16:03):
Left hole location. This is pretty good.

Speaker 7 (01:16:05):
One hop, short.

Speaker 1 (01:16:06):
Flag step, rolling perfectly and it's in.

Speaker 7 (01:16:10):
That he's for Shane Lowry at the sixth That is
the seventh.

Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
Ace in the ninety year history of Augusta National and
the Masters and everybody watching signal touchdown for Shane Lowry.
You know what the complements of Masters Radio Network. I
think what we need for these golf broadcasts. We need
the Bengals color commentator, you know on the radio side

(01:16:36):
that's just cheerleading in the back of all right, Yeah,
we need that guy. I need to look up his name,
as I don't want to butcher it, but he's great.
We need him in these in the booth for these
Masters calls over here. Don't you think that would spruce
it up a little bit, wouldn't it?

Speaker 3 (01:16:52):
It would spruce up a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:16:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:16:54):
The Arizona Cardinals one is also very very much like,
very into the the colorful, the colorful call from the
color commentator.

Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
Yeah, I think that would spruce it up quite a bit.

Speaker 7 (01:17:07):
Yeah, hey, Brian, I got that, Dave laugh him.

Speaker 3 (01:17:09):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
Yeah, he's great, isn't he? I lows?

Speaker 4 (01:17:12):
All right, there we go.

Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
That's more like that's what we like to He's just
completely all all over the call. It's great. All right,
let's get to the prop betting market. Let's do this.

Speaker 7 (01:17:24):
Good prop it up player plays.

Speaker 1 (01:17:28):
Okay, prop bets galore crack. We go to you first,
what's something you like?

Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
Let's go to the Denver Nuggets. Julian strather over seventeen
and a half points. Nuggets resting some guys and seem
like they want to lose this game. Julian had twenty
two points against the Thunder on Friday. I expect the
same output for him tonight. First the Spurs, so over
seventeen and a half points.

Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
Frank, can you explain the Nuggets trying to play okay
see in the second round? Is it one things where
just doesn't matter when you play them? Les play that
it's your schedule better.

Speaker 4 (01:18:02):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
I don't understand like they're purposely losing to play them
in the second round.

Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
Yeah, I think it's more about the first round. I
guess they want the Rockets more than the Timberwolves. Minnesota's
given them problems before. I think it's more so that
than anything. And maybe the thinking is, hey, the West
goes through OKAC anyway, maybe we're better off playing them
in the second round than the conference finals. I mean,

(01:18:27):
maybe you think that Aaron Gordon's been nicked up. Maybe
that's the thought process of Aaron Gordon against OKC in
the second round probably better than the potential of Aaron
Gordon in the conference finals against OKAC. I guess that's
the thinking. But yeah, they're just they're shutting it down
with a couple of games to go and really trying
to avoid the three seed. It seems like, I don't

(01:18:48):
know how else.

Speaker 4 (01:18:48):
You read that.

Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
Yeah, that's the way I would read it, right, I mean,
they're down there and they're back ups one yso by
twenty anyway, so it doesn't like I guess the theory
is funny today because there are a lot of games
where the team wants to win and it's like who's
end up winning the game, And we're gonna find out
as we go here. I'm gonna throw a w NBA
prop out here for you guys. More in Betts is

(01:19:12):
twelve to one be the first pick in the draft
this week. I think it's a good I think it's
a good dart throw.

Speaker 9 (01:19:17):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:19:18):
If you look at Dallas, right, they have Page, they
have a point guard, need center, now, they have they.

Speaker 3 (01:19:24):
Have the they have what the lee route right.

Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
The tall.

Speaker 3 (01:19:32):
But like Laura Betts Man, I mean, she played a
credible tournament. She's tall.

Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
Her defense is that pairing her with Page I think
would be a home run. She's twelve to one right now.
I don't see a z fun as the first pick
in the draft's minus four hundred. I just I don't
see it, Brian, I mean, it's certainly possible. It doesn't
really fit what Dallas wants to do. Lauren Betts maybe
the best player in college basketball most of the season,
best player in the tournament, MVP the tournament, is twelve
to one.

Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
I think she fits Dallas perfectly. I'll take a shot
on that one, Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:20:01):
I got a couple for you, including one long shot
in a market I've never played before that has a
zero percent hit rate. The reason why it's a long shot,
but the first one, you know, I'll give you a
shot out. Jeff because you put this in the chat,
Rory to have a better round than Cameron Young. Is
that minus one twenty five on bet mgm. I've made

(01:20:22):
that bet. I think that's a great bet because Rory
it's a different mindset, you know, going into moving Day. Yesterday,
he's got a six stroke lead. It's the biggest lead
after thirty six holes in Masters history. You can't tell
me he wasn't.

Speaker 9 (01:20:35):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
He's a little passive, you know, like prevent defense out there.
He's not as aggressive with him completely blowing the lead yesterday,
I think he is. I think he's gonna be a
force today now. I think Cam Young trying to run
it back shooting seven under yesterday. I just favor Rory
in this spot. Now. The long shot bet is it's
actually crackskuy. It's funny. I'm looking at Julian Strawther to

(01:21:00):
make the first field goal today for the Nuggets. Because
if you look at this market right now, BETMGM, all
these guys are listed wemby Jokic deerin Fox. I don't
think most of these guys are playing. So it's plus
eight twenty five. I think it's gonna be shorter by time.
The game rules around.

Final day of the Masters. I have a million questions
for you guys. Whittle it down to like two. All right,
If you have to bet for one of these golfers

(01:22:10):
to win the whole thing, who are you betting on
and why? Like it could be an odds play. It
might not be who you think is necessarily going to win,
but the value is there. If you got one bet,
I'll give you a free roll. Jeff, what are you
using that free roll on? Who are you using that on?

Speaker 3 (01:22:27):
I'm using Roy to win?

Speaker 2 (01:22:29):
Yeah, look, Brot, I think your analogy was really good
early on about the football analogy, I'll let you do
you play that one that hit in a second here,
But think about how how we're talking about today?

Speaker 4 (01:22:42):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:22:43):
Oh, Rory yesterday like just the worst run of golf ever.
He struggled, he was won over and he's still tied. Yeah,
Cam Young went sixty seven sixty five the last two days.
Can you shoot a sixty seven again? Absolutely can't. He'd
be an absolute heater. But he might also not hit
the tree on the right side of eleven and that

(01:23:05):
ball goes into the pine straw and that's a double
and and not you know a part yesterday right. So
for as bad as Rory played, and actually he went
to the range last night, I saw someone his ball
tracking was on.

Speaker 3 (01:23:18):
You saw it. The first ten drives of the rain
session were not good, but eventually figured it out.

Speaker 2 (01:23:24):
But like think about, is poorly as Rory played yesterday,
he's still tied for first and Cam Young potentially has
to do that again, and I just I just don't know.
The other one that I've maybe may maybe is if
you think Rory's gonna win, Scheffler's like six and a

(01:23:45):
half to one to finish second place. Essentially, I think
Scheffleoyd plays really well today.

Speaker 9 (01:23:49):
I do.

Speaker 3 (01:23:50):
He played really well yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:23:52):
It's just you know, Sunday at the Masters, the Turnament,
he's won multiple times. I think this is a big
day for Scotty, but I think Rory. If you're asking
me who wins at Crack, I think Rory wins today.

Speaker 4 (01:24:04):
Okay. One of the only winning golf handicappers. I know
there's two of them. One of them actually called me
last night and we were talking about this matchup with Rory,
and basically, I mean, I know there's other people that
can win, but Rory and Cam Young. And I was
saying how much it took out of Rory physically and

(01:24:25):
mentally yesterday up by six strokes, so much pressure on him,
couldn't hit a fairway until the eighteenth all drive, And
I just said, this just took a lot out of him,
and how can he regain his form of Friday and
come back and win this tournament? And my friend, who

(01:24:46):
again winning golf Handicappers said absolutely not. Rory is a
special person. This guy has had pressure on him in
all of his life and he likes Rory to win
the tournament. And Rory and that matchup over Cam Young
where I said that, you know, it took so much
out of him. Yesterday I was thinking of actually betting.
To know there's a sports book puts up no guess no,

(01:25:09):
but I can't lay one ninety nine. Say it's minus
two to one, let's call it. I can't lay minus
two to one. You know, I just don't like laying
juice like that anyway, you know, don't forget Now, make
you guys laugh a little bit. Hilton Head twenty years ago.
I go every year to the Heritage, just about every year.
My friends got an unbelievable spot on the eighteenth hole

(01:25:30):
overlooking the eighteenth beautiful. He could rent it after like
twenty thousand for the weekend, but he chooses not to,
which is great. So one of the caddies I knew,
Casey Kerr, who's now a retired caddy who caddied thirty
two thirty two Masters. I've been on the bag for
He brings over a young Rory McElroy first year for

(01:25:54):
a little barbecue, you know, the celebration for him and
his girlfriend at the time. But it's not not his
current wife but his girlfriend. And I think I don't
know if I told the story in the spot when
you guys so when when the kid left, I didn't
know he was. He's brought over many golfers over the years,
VJ sing, I mean, there's so many golfers I've met
through through Casey. And I said that that kid's like

(01:26:16):
one hundred and forty pounds, soak him. Well, he'll never
make it on tour. That was the guy I said,
we'll never make it on tour. He was very nice,
very very friendly. You know, green is grass. But they
look at look look who he is today. I'll make
you laugh to a real quick VJ singing that they're
having the golf tournament in Las Vegas here again, I
think I may have told the story in the space.

(01:26:37):
And I'm with Casey. You know, got me his badge
to come in, some badges to come in. I'm following
their group and VJ says, Casey just want to let
you know this guy in the black over here, I
don't know what's going on, but he's following us every hole.
I don't don't trust him. Looks like a mafia man.
So VJ. Singh at the turn I actually wind up

(01:26:58):
meeting him in cases like no, he's made, no worry,
He's fine. But I love I love this kind of
golf today. Look at this isn't Isn't this better than
Rory bringing up six strokes today? Isn't this? Isn't this fantastic?
I can't wait. I am watching every stroke of this.
And by the way, the Master's App is unbelievable.

Speaker 5 (01:27:21):
It was.

Speaker 4 (01:27:22):
It was good last year. They have done some improvements
this year. The Master's App was so good to watch
Thursday Friday when you couldn't watch anything. Masters App had
had a feature group Holes fifteen and sixteen, Amen Corner.
Just so many great things into the free Masters App.
I mean, so it was just a great way to

(01:27:42):
watch golf. I absolutely loved it. Loved the stories about
the videos, about the dinner, about the map and flag,
about the in the par three courts. You know, it
was just so cool the way they've done it, and
they really made this family friendly and it's just a
great event that you know, again, this is setting up

(01:28:03):
to an unbelievable finish rather than having be ahead six
strokes today. I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:28:09):
Listen the special athletes respond. It's that simple, okay. Like
when Jordan shot six for twenty four in a game,
You're like, oh gosh, look out, he is going to
be seething the next game. And you saw this in
the same tournament. Look at Scotty Scotty on Friday two over,
We're like, what's up with Scotty? He had two balls

(01:28:31):
in the water. We're like, this isn't Scotty Scheffler. And
then yesterday seven under right, he responded, That's what I
look for Rory to do. Rory did not play well yesterday.
Couldn't hit a fairway. He was one over. Like as
badly as he played, he was one over. It includes
a double bogie when he hit it into the drink
on eleven. I expect him to respond, and I also

(01:28:53):
think the spot is different. He was the hunted yesterday.
Now he can go back to being the hunter. Right,
he's tied. He's neck and neck with Cam Jung, so
he's not being hunted down the same way he was yesterday.
And the football comparison that Jeff was talking about. I
just said, if a team has third and ten and
they pick up nine yards to set up fourth and one, well,

(01:29:16):
that feels a lot different than a team that has
third and one and they get stuffed for no gain.
It's fourth and one for both teams, you know. And
so Rory, it feels a lot different if he killed
it yesterday and he's tied for the lead. But he
didn't kill it yesterday. Everybody caught him after he blew
the biggest lead after two days in Masters history, So

(01:29:37):
it feels way different. But the reality is he's tied
for the lead, He's in a great spot, and I
expect him to respond. I think he'll be absolutely locked
in because he had a tough day yesterday. He's the
only golfer out there. To Jeff's point, h didn't golf
balls after the third round. He's like, I gotta figure
this stuff out, like this is unacceptable. I think it'll

(01:29:59):
be absolutely locked in outside of Rory. I'll ask you, guys,
this put Rory to the side. Who not named Rory
do you think is the biggest threat to win at
all today?

Speaker 3 (01:30:11):
Oh, let's see here.

Speaker 2 (01:30:16):
I mean, Justin Rose stands out as someone who's played
well in this course. I mean think it matters on Sunday, right,
Like have you played well on this course in the past.
It feels like Justin Rose is one of those finished
what second last year?

Speaker 9 (01:30:28):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:30:28):
Was it the last year we finished second?

Speaker 1 (01:30:30):
Yeah, he's finished second?

Speaker 3 (01:30:31):
How about that? It does feel like he is a
guy who is primed to finish.

Speaker 2 (01:30:39):
I think that he's worth maybe a look at it,
finishing second in this I do think he'd be the
guy that has a chance here.

Speaker 3 (01:30:46):
So uh, maybe I'll go over nine and a half now.
A crack on the on the one way markets there
we found on a.

Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
Little throw little on Rose here. So but it does
feel like that that might be a guy to target
today if you just if you need something.

Speaker 4 (01:31:00):
I mean, he went to the playoffs, went to the
playoff last year with Rory. Hit a great shot on
the green and then Rory went inside of him. It
was unbelievable. So Rose is a pretty solid guy there.
But I mean, I can Cam Young come back again? Yeah,
he's only a plus two forty so without Rory, I'll say,

(01:31:20):
I mean, listen, I'm going by bat MGM Rory plus
one sixty Cam Young plus two forty, then you go
up to seven to one Sam Burns, then you're in
double digits with Scotty and Rose and so you know,
I'd have to pick Cam Young just based on the odds.
And you know after yesterday's round, Yeah, he did get
lucky with a ball that should have been maybe out

(01:31:42):
of bounds and lost. But a lot of these guys
get lucky. Didn't didn't Rory get you know, I shouldn't
say lucky. You have to put yourself in a position
to have that skill set on seventeen on Friday when
he chipped in, I says, you know, like, so there's
a lot of different moving parts. If Rory doesn't doesn't

(01:32:02):
get that he has two strokes more, he's two strokes behind.
There's so many different moving parts to this. But again, guys, looks.
This is I have not looked forward to watching a
golf match as much as today in a long long time.
I look forward to this.

Speaker 1 (01:32:21):
One other thing that caught my eye just thumbing through
all these potential bets on bet MGM and Scotti, Scheffler
his specials. So the last one caught my eye. To
shoot sixty nine or lower is a is at a
minus a dollar twenty five. Think about that. So he
was two over on Friday seven under yesterday, he would

(01:32:42):
have to be three under today, which is clearly capable
of shooting. But at minus a dollar twenty five? Is
that not aggressive to you to be?

Speaker 4 (01:32:51):
I didn't see this. What's the wording of the bet, Brian?
I'm looking now on then?

Speaker 1 (01:32:54):
To shoot sixty nine or lower?

Speaker 4 (01:32:56):
For Scotty's got to be make it a half sixty
nine and a half. Usually like to get a decision
on bets. Yeah my bet. There is only one way,
and it would be the over.

Speaker 1 (01:33:06):
Yeah, right, it was funny yesterday. Oh man, you could
smell a rat from a mile away.

Speaker 4 (01:33:13):
The only.

Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
Bet that I saw on the bet MGM app where
you could bet over or under was on Rory and
it was a seventy and a half. Right, he had
to be too under for the day. If you're taking
the under and it's like he was five under first day,
seven under the second day, it's like he's just got
to be two under to day. It seemed way too easy,

(01:33:36):
and sure enough he's one over. So they don't offer
these two way markets the way they used to on
bet MGM with the over under round.

Speaker 4 (01:33:44):
I don't even know if they offered that in Nevada.
Where I'm at that bet that you're saying, because I
don't see it anywhere on the app over on their scores.

Speaker 1 (01:33:53):
Yeah, Rory was the only guy. It was just Rory Crack.
And it's like, who's the public gonna be betting? Which way?
He just was seven under the day before. He can't
go too under today, like the public's all going to
be on the under. It's just screamed like you might
want to stay away from the under right here in
this one. Sure enough, you had a tough day. It's challenging.

Speaker 4 (01:34:14):
Yeah, I'm looking. I'm still looking, by the way, I'm
still looking to see where this where this bet would be.
But because Nevada has some weird rules, you can't bet
certain things in Nevada, just like in New Jersey. You
can't bet colleges, uh that are in New Jersey so
on the app. So certain states have like in Indiana
where you are or where Jeff where you are? Is

(01:34:35):
there any rules there on? In inner school states that
are not featured on the app, you can bet them
just stupid roll By the way, it's a dumb roll.
That's the state.

Speaker 3 (01:34:45):
You can't put on college sports organ.

Speaker 1 (01:34:48):
And you can't watch the Orioles on the MLB dot
TV app. Right, that's the other rule.

Speaker 3 (01:34:53):
So here's the problem with that, Brian.

Speaker 2 (01:34:55):
So we're in the blackout region for four teams, Okay, Orioles, Reds, Nationals,
and Braves. I get the Braves where Atlanta's nearby. Yeah,
so MLB TV, the Major League Baseball decides that we
are in, right, the Oriols blackout region. The game last

(01:35:16):
night was on Fox national broadcast. Now it's regional because
you know, but there's like two games on Fox, right,
there's Red Sox and Cardinals, Your Cardinals, Bright Giants, Orioles.
Guess what game they showed in our region?

Speaker 1 (01:35:29):
Oh boy, yeah, they showed.

Speaker 3 (01:35:31):
The Red Sox Cardinals game.

Speaker 1 (01:35:32):
Yeah yeah, yeah. So you didn't get you didn't luck
out for the national broadcast.

Speaker 2 (01:35:36):
So I didn't get the I didn't get the national
broadcast of the team that they determined in my region.
And I also couldn't watch the game on the app
because I'm blacked out. So there was actually no way
in Charlotte, North Carolina, yesterday to watch the Oriols and
Giants play baseball. Wow, brutal, And I pay for of
course MLBtv package. I like watching baseball. I have a

(01:36:00):
page because I have Fox, so I can't How can
I not watch it wasn't on Local Baltimore, so it
wasn't on like Masson or whatever it's m A. I said, right, Masses, what.

Speaker 3 (01:36:12):
Is Baltimore Local Baltimore? Couldn't watch it on that because
it wasn't on that.

Speaker 2 (01:36:16):
Couldn't watch it on Fox because I'm they chose Red
Sox Cardinals, And I couldn't watch an MLB app which
you can watch national corternational games of the app, because
I'm blacked out.

Speaker 1 (01:36:25):
In the region that's similar to Vegas. I was blocked
blacked out of like five MLB teams And when I'm
trying to watch NBA games there, Oh, it's the worst crack.
It's the best, worst place ever to watch sports. If
you go out casinos, it's awesome. If you're at your
place and you're trying to watch it on an app,
They're like, no Lakers, no Clippers, no Kings. I'm like,

(01:36:48):
what is there left? Like there are only a couple
of games going on the in the late spot I
got nothing over here. I can watch the Warriors, but
not the Kings. What sense does that make?

Speaker 3 (01:36:57):
So frustrating?

Speaker 1 (01:36:58):
Blackout rules are the worst, man, and they're terrible.

Speaker 3 (01:37:00):
Very frustrating.

Speaker 2 (01:37:01):
And you know, Baseball, you know, I want to watch,
I want to watch your product. You just make it
very hard to watch sometimes. And I mean the Giants,
you know, lost of course, because why would they win,
but against a guy that had a ten y ra
through two starts that made him look like PAGEA Martinez yesterday.

Speaker 3 (01:37:20):
But I I just how you can pay for two
or three packages.

Speaker 1 (01:37:25):
And not watch the game is that's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (01:37:27):
It's just.

Speaker 2 (01:37:30):
What happened in the NFL. The NFL preseason is the
only time that really ever happens, I think. But that's
just you know, it's a preseason. The regular season.

Speaker 3 (01:37:37):
You can't really complain about that. Very frustrating.

Speaker 1 (01:37:40):
Yeah, I'll tell you this, man. They they do make
it a lot easier with the NFL. I've had NFL
Plus for a long time. This is not a commercial, right,
but so I watch all the games on Amazon just
because the NFL Plus I don't have a separate subscription.
You know, it helps you streamline it a little bit.
And so I just have the the NFL you know,
the ticket or whatever, the Sunday package, YouTube, the YouTube package,

(01:38:04):
so I watch all these games or else it's on locally.
I have access to all the games, all of them.
There isn't a game where you're like, oh, it's your
local market.

Speaker 4 (01:38:12):
No you got to go to.

Speaker 1 (01:38:15):
Yeah, yeah, you can watch them. It's crazy, It makes
no sense. Yeah, I just made a bet. I should
have ran it by you guys before. Uh you see
what you think. But yeah, sorry, I've got Rory to
shoot seventy or lower, got to be too under today. Now,
I know what I just said about betting against him yesterday,

(01:38:37):
but to me, that's the spot. It's again he was
being hunted down yesterday. I think he's in aggressive mindset today.
I think that he's going to be at least two
under today.

Speaker 4 (01:38:47):
Do you like that bet?

Speaker 1 (01:38:48):
It's minus a dollar thirty five. I don't know if
you even like that better or not.

Speaker 3 (01:38:51):
I love it. I think that it's I think is
gonna play well today.

Speaker 2 (01:38:57):
So yes, I'm already having the I can't basically have that,
like you know, he shoots three or four uder, he's
probably winning. So I don't need to basically make double
my bet on that, but I would. I think I
agree with that one. I think he did plays well today.

Speaker 1 (01:39:12):
Hey man, even the good ones respond, the great ones
absolutely respond, and so after a challenging day, I just
think he's going to be way better today.

Speaker 4 (01:39:24):
Golf handicapper from that, that's exactly what he says.

Speaker 1 (01:39:27):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 4 (01:39:28):
This is a different special, This is a special golfer.
Yeah that you're you know, this guy is used to
the pressure, and but I mean he has dogged it
with pressure too over the years. He has.

Speaker 1 (01:39:37):
But even think back to last year, crack right, like
he completely wet himself, blew his lead, right and now
it's in the playoff and you're like, there's no way,
and he won. He beat Justin Rose, So there's a way. Absolutely.
There's a think how mentally strong you had to be
to win the Masters last year in that spot, trying

(01:39:57):
to complete the career Grand Slam. You've been at the
Masters for like a decade and a half at that point,
you know, And he's still responded. So he's more than capable.

that's awesome, very good album. Yeah, underrated.

Speaker 6 (01:41:42):
I had to.

Speaker 3 (01:41:42):
I had to refresh the playlist.

Speaker 7 (01:41:43):
We had to add some more in there.

Speaker 1 (01:41:45):
That's that's that's well done. A little more lamb of God,
you know. Just suggestion any e DM you want in particular,
Jeff anything, No, I do have not it's not.

Speaker 3 (01:41:56):
A music tape. But like, I don't care that you're
a Coachella. Just don't care. Out of things I care about.

Speaker 2 (01:42:06):
Zero cares at your congratulations on your house at Coachella.
Really good for you. Oh you're taking a shower in
a public shower Coachella. Really awesome, good for you.

Speaker 3 (01:42:18):
Who cares?

Speaker 4 (01:42:19):
I don't. Who is.

Speaker 3 (01:42:22):
Who is influence?

Speaker 2 (01:42:23):
Like the brands send these influence to Coachella. Okay, who
are they influencing a show up? Like, who are they
influencing to use their product because they're at Coachella? Like
I think most of us cringe at the content from Coachella.
It doesn't ma, I just I congratulations on your time

(01:42:44):
at Coachella, Like really special people make their whole person
Like I'm going to this festival. Wasn't the whole point
of this supposed to be like anti culture, right, like
anti influencers all this stuff, and now it's just influencer
heaven man, if you.

Speaker 3 (01:42:59):
Know, if you're not there, you're missing on the party
of the week with a lot.

Speaker 7 (01:43:05):
Coachella and Burning Man are like the two things. I
just it feels like people are just going there for
the social media posts.

Speaker 1 (01:43:11):
Now it's like, come on, yeah, I've got a gripe,
you know, building off of what you were just saying, Jeff,
in a different direction. It's the NBA Rookie of the
Year race, okay, and it's Cooper Flag, who's now a
bigger favorite as we speak. He's minus one seventy five.
Konkin Nipple is now plus one thirty five. So it's
down to these two players and I'll tell you what.

(01:43:33):
There is an argument that I've been hearing for Cooper
Flag that makes me want to tear my hair out.
You'll hear this, well, the career that he's going to
have dot dot dot, and that's backing Cooper Flag. It's like,
that's not what the award is. It's the Rookie of
the Year, all right. I don't care about who's going

(01:43:53):
to have the better career or who's the better prospect.
I don't care about any of that. The award isn't
hey who will have the better career. Imagine if you
said that in the NBA or the MVP race it's
down to SGA and Wemby. What if you were to say, well,
I think Wemby's gonna have a better career, so what Like,
it's about the MVP this season, it's not about the

(01:44:17):
next fifteen years or what. So anybody backing Cooper Flag
if you want to tell me he's a teenager leading
a team scoring thirty points left and right, Okay, fine,
those are good arguments. Don't tell me, well, the career
this guy is gonna have. Stop saying it's a dumb argument.
It doesn't apply at all. It makes me want to
lose my mind when I hear that. It's so ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (01:44:39):
Yeah, it's interesting to ceo these markets. You know, they
kind of move very quickly, right, not not that not
the MVP one, but a Rookie of the Year market.
And I don't know if there's the Hornets just have
slowed down a little bit, Brian, But Canip pull us.
You know, got pretty pretty steam to be to be
a Rookie of the Year. And Fox played really well lately.
Have they played sixty five games? We have to make

(01:45:00):
sure they play enough games to make this happen. What
a le what It's just an absolutely the NBA just
just can't can't figure it out.

Speaker 3 (01:45:10):
Can't.

Speaker 2 (01:45:11):
And I've made this argument for a long time. Up
to you to make it is that it's up to
the players to fix this problem. First, if they wanted
to play, they'd play. You know, they wanted to play.
I'm not upset about Game eighty one, but I'm talking
about game thirty seven and forty.

Speaker 3 (01:45:29):
Four if they wanted.

Speaker 2 (01:45:31):
If a team came up to them and said, hey man,
you're out tonight and they wanted to play, they'd play.

Speaker 3 (01:45:35):
That simple.

Speaker 1 (01:45:36):
There's some true to that. I agree halfway, but the
other half is the NBA just shouldn't allow it. When
you're allowing load management, you know, like that should not
be allowed. I'll tell you what. Not one commissioner has
been better for another commissioner's legacy than Adam Silver, for
David Stern. David Stern's legacy is so much better now

(01:45:59):
that we have Adam Silver. It's not even funny.

Speaker 2 (01:46:01):
I mean, can you just imagine, like in week thirteen
even it doesn't even you can't even make this, You
can't even make comparison like week thirteen. The chiefs are
just like, yeah, I'm homes I.

Speaker 1 (01:46:14):
Just this stuff happens before you're halfway through the season.
Imagine if it's week what week seven in the NFL
and teams are load managing that that would never happen.

Speaker 4 (01:46:27):
It's insanity.

Speaker 1 (01:46:28):
And the comparisons are ridiculous where it's like, well, you know,
we have week eighteen in the NFL, Yeah, that would
be like the equivalent of today in the ESBA.

Speaker 2 (01:46:38):
And I think nobody is faulting a team today for
sitting out there now, fine, no problega, they don't play
for another week. For the most part, but okay, you
don't you know again, you know I think I didn't.
They'll get set out those guys because they didn't want
loud Door to injure any of them. The other night,
which is he elbowed in the face stuck. It was like, yeah,
that makes sense. Okay, Like I go, why you don't
want you start with lou Dort, I mean the thunderbitch

(01:47:02):
everyone button Door, Like, no, you're playing, buddy, You're gonna
bloody someone's face. Just please please make it jokers if
he plays, you know, like that makes sense. But yeah, Tay,
guys don't want to play. I totally get it, Like
give him a day off and had a long season
to get ready to play in a week again middle
of the season.

Speaker 3 (01:47:18):
It's just there was a stab, Brian.

Speaker 2 (01:47:20):
I'm sure you saw it that something like thirty percent
of national TV games the superstar didn't play that You're like,
whoever like that that was on the given team, and
you know good there were there legitim injuries this season
to some of those players. Obviously Lakers doing with that
right now, My Lakers man, they were they were going
to the finals.

Speaker 3 (01:47:37):
Brian, until this happened.

Speaker 2 (01:47:38):
Yes, absolutely, very disappointing that Luca and Reeves are out.

Speaker 3 (01:47:43):
Can they can? Can they beat the Rockets without those guys?

Speaker 1 (01:47:47):
No? Not without those guys. No, take the overs though, man,
Rockets are not playing defense. Shane Goon I like him,
He's not defending anybody.

Speaker 2 (01:47:56):
Take the overs though, Yeah, because if they get by that,
they're gonna have Luca and Reeves come back for the Thunder,
and the Thunder going to smoke them in four games.
It's not gonna be pretty so bummer for the for
the Lakers. There just makes the playoffs less entertaining, right,
I mean, Luca is in there. You maybe you steal
want it's the Thunder, you know, like you get it's
not gonna happen if those guys don't play obviously, But

(01:48:18):
you know the load manager thing, it's that the fabating stuff,
which I know people just agree with me on this stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:48:24):
It's just a tough Brian eye text. It's a tough
watch sometimes with the fabating stuff. I just don't like it.

Speaker 1 (01:48:31):
You just got to be on s g A overs
you know, you'll love that's what you That's the Yeah,
that's the solution right there. Just bet his point total overs.

Speaker 4 (01:48:39):
You'll be fine with that. Back to your original question too,
Kinnipple was a wise guy play. I mean, it's amazing
how much money came on him. Uh, it was, you know,
circulating in the sharp guy. Uh, you know, the circles
here to be the NBA Rookie the Year and then
Cooper Flag just took over. Now MGM Cooper Flag minus

(01:49:00):
one seventy five plus one thirty five, so that is
they're the only two that are that are of course
up for that at this point. And you know, I'm
not laying the one seventy five, but that seems to
be the fan favorite now and you know, like you said,
the just even media favorite. So we'll see what happens.

Speaker 1 (01:49:21):
Yeah, full disclosure. I do have a bet on Canipple
from a little while ago at plus money, and I
think he's the better choice. But I don't think he's
gonna win this award. I just don't know what we're
doing here. Like going back the last day that we
had on Friday, right, that was the last day of
NBA action before today, Cooper Flag entering on Friday, he

(01:49:45):
was plus one twenty to win Rookie of the Year.
He's at plus money. He scored thirty three points that
night against the Spurs, and now he's minus won thirty five.
It's like, that's a meaningless game. They're not going out
there trying to win, full go, it's a meaningless game
in April, and it's swinging the betting market from plus

(01:50:06):
one twenty to minus one seventy five. It's like, what
are we doing right now? Now that's the betting market.
I just hope the voters aren't being swung that way also,
and they very well could be. I just don't know
how you would allow yourself to be swung like that,
but you know some of the voters will. It's crazy
to me, all right, I'm not.

Speaker 3 (01:50:26):
A big day today. Like back the other direction.

Speaker 1 (01:50:28):
I don't think it does. I think that a lot
of a lot of voters have their minds made up.

Speaker 4 (01:50:33):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:50:33):
It's like Cooper Flagg is just the flashier player. That
doesn't mean he's the better candidate to be Rookie of
the Year. Can Nipple's been way more efficient. He's crushed
the three point mark for any rookie by a mile.
He's playing on a winning team, He's playing meaningful games, right, Like.

Speaker 4 (01:50:51):
All that matters?

Speaker 1 (01:50:52):
I give Cooper flagg Is props. He's a teenager leading
a team. But when the betting market is being swung
by meaningless games in April, it's like, what are we
doing right now? This makes no sense? But hey, I'm
not gonna be swung about this. Isaac Lohenkron best in
the business. Huh, he's got an update for us. Let's
going on.

Speaker 7 (01:51:10):
I low catch me later today at Coachella.

Speaker 1 (01:51:17):
Yes, public showers, let's go.

Speaker 4 (01:51:20):
You know.

Speaker 7 (01:51:20):
I'm I'm what they call a reverse influencer.

Speaker 8 (01:51:23):
Brands pay me to endorse their competitors, which I actually
think is.

Speaker 7 (01:51:29):
Especially I think it's a brilliant marketing strategy.

Speaker 8 (01:51:32):
Brill's gonna be a great day. In the final round
of the Masters. We've got Cameron Young and defending champion
Rory McElroy tied for the lead at eleven under par
overall yesterday in round three. Young shot is seven hundred
sixty five, but McElroy a one over par seventy three. Meanwhile,
Sam Burns is two shots off the lead at ten
under par overall after a four under sixty eight on Saturday.

(01:51:54):
So it'll be Cameron Young and Rory McElroy teeing off
the final pairing at two twenty five. I've eastern hears
Rory's out look.

Speaker 10 (01:52:02):
I'd like to think that I'll play a little bit
freer and I'll play, you know, play like I've already
got a green jacket, which I do sometimes I maybe
just have to remind myself of that.

Speaker 8 (01:52:15):
Well, remind you about what happened in Major League Baseball
on Saturday night. The Mariners rallied from seven to two
down on the fifth inning to beat the Houston Astros
eight to seven seattles. JP Crawford the game winning RBI
single in the bottle of the ninth inning. Dodgers improved
to eleven and three maybe Texas six to three, featuring
show hey Otani's.

Speaker 7 (01:52:32):
Fourth home run.

Speaker 8 (01:52:33):
The Padres rallied from a four to nothing third inning
deficit to be Colorado nine to five, Orioles over the
Giants six to two. Gutnter henderson Is sixth home run,
tying the major league lead. Red Sox one at Saint
Louis seven to one. Wilson Contreras three RBI against his
former team. Jordan Walker of the Cardinals hit his sixth
home run of the season for Saint Louis's only run.

Speaker 7 (01:52:55):
All right, guys, I'm gonna don the body paint back
to you, guys.

Speaker 4 (01:52:58):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:52:58):
I low. It is Fox Sports Right Countdown presented by BETMGM. Listen,
I'll tell you this the last day of the NBA
regular season, there are some great in game opportunities.

Speaker 3 (01:53:11):
Crack.

Speaker 1 (01:53:11):
I know you're not a huge live better, but sometimes
the betting odds, like the juice isn't terrible. There are
times where you're actually betting in. You're getting plus money,
you're getting minus one zero five. There are times where
it's fine. You just have to look for those spots.
But I'll tell you what, if you watch some of
these teams and you get like the pulse of the game,
the NBA is weird in general, Like when we're talking

(01:53:33):
about like full strength versus full strength. A lot of
times it's counterintuitive. A team is shooting lights out, that's
the best time to bet their team total under, you
know what I mean, Like they can't buy a shot,
that's the best time to bet their team total over.
That's typically the way it goes a day like today.
Once you see, okay, the Suns on Thursday, they can't

(01:53:57):
score against the Lakers. They can't score to save their lives.
Just look at who's on the court in the third
and fourth quarters. Like they can't put the ball in
the hoop. It's like, just fade them, Fade the hell
out of them. There are gonna be many opportunities today,
a couple of windows. But I would absolutely say, like

(01:54:17):
the Masters wraps up as the games are tipping off,
the six o'clock Eastern games. But if you're just paying attention,
you know, to these NBA games, I guarantee you're gonna
find some great betting angles.

Speaker 2 (01:54:31):
I'm just looking at like the entire starting line up
for the for the Knicks is out, like I I mean,
you look at their their team total underright, I mean
just like their entire Brunton Hart Towns mitter Robinson, I
know we got hurt the other night though, right, so

(01:54:51):
maybe he's doing they're all out, like Charlotte's playing.

Speaker 3 (01:54:53):
Charlotte needs to win this game.

Speaker 1 (01:54:55):
Right, They don't want to be on the road in
the first correct game.

Speaker 2 (01:54:58):
And they could possible they So you get the eight
seed too. I think today if they if they.

Speaker 1 (01:55:02):
Win, they're just locked into night they're locked in nine.

Speaker 2 (01:55:05):
Okay, yeah, yeah, they want. That game is gonna be
Tuesday night here in Charlotte. It's gonna be late to
it'd be like nine to thirty Eastern, which is kind
of a weird NBA setup. But yeah, so they want
to win. Now, the question is, are there if they're
up twenty in the fourth quarter, they stop trying and
they end up you know, the next back door cover
the game. But I just don't know why this game
is not you know, a twenty twenty five to thirty
point win for the Hornets. They're gonna they're young, and

(01:55:27):
they're gonna keep playing hard all game. Like why why
would they stop playing hard?

Speaker 3 (01:55:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:55:31):
Yeah, I'm expecting some real ugly basketball guys who probably
won't see the court if it was a meaningful game.
So people needed to be real careful today. Bet in
these games. Some of these teams don't announce who's available
till hour before the game tips off. That's all.

Speaker 1 (01:55:44):
Yeah, And the Raptors, I know this is the biggest
point spread on the board, like minus twenty three and
a half. I actually have the double check that that's
still where it's at.

Speaker 3 (01:55:53):
But taking on the next minus ten thousand, I think about.

Speaker 1 (01:55:59):
This the Raptors. They could either be at the day
at the end of the day, the five seed, the
sixth seed, the seven, or the eight. They could fall
into the play in tier. They can't lose. They're playing
all their guys. They're gonna blow the doors off of
the nets. It's not even gonna be close, So I
would not be looking to bet you know, plus twenty

(01:56:20):
three and a half with the nets at all. Man,
the Raptors have to win this game, so they're gonna
be some interesting scenarios. Man, I can't wait for it.

Speaker 4 (01:58:21):
Let's do it.

Speaker 3 (01:58:24):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 1 (01:58:26):
Alrighty crack, we start with you. What's something you like?

Speaker 4 (01:58:30):
All right, guys, I'm gonna stick with baseball here. We've
done so well with baseball. I think that's the right
thing to do, is to stick with baseball. So let's
go to the American League. Let's go over to Boston
Red Sox. Let's get bet MGM's line here. Sorry, on
one second, Boston Red Sox minus one on the quarter
at bet MGM eleven fifteen West. My time, Vegas time game.

(01:58:51):
So we still got time today?

Speaker 1 (01:58:54):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:58:55):
Sorry, I got your Cardinals. I just thought about it.

Speaker 1 (01:58:57):
Love fading the Cardinals. It's okay, Crack, I'm used to it.
They didn't do well yesterday, that's for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:59:04):
I do think that the Hornets later thirteen and a
half is a good play today. I think the Hornets
need to win. They want to win the New York City.
They're young enough to play hard for forty eight minutes
right like there just are, and the Knicks are sitting everyone.

Speaker 3 (01:59:19):
I mean, if the.

Speaker 2 (01:59:20):
Knicks get to eighty five points, Brian, I mean, I
just I hope. I think this is a twenty thirty
point win.

Speaker 1 (01:59:30):
I love the Gornets here, Hey man, I totally get it.
You get no argument from me as far as that goes.
I like Rory the most to shoot seventy or lower today,
so you got to be two under. I just love
that angle, Jeff, shout out to you. I bet that
also Rory to have the better round than Cameron Young.
I like that play as well. Makes a lot of sense.

(01:59:52):
I would also add, if the Phoenix Suns can't score points,
they're going up against the Thunder the THUNDERB team today.
But the Thunder, like the Suns, are not scoring points
today either, So let's go under. Oh gosh, under one
oh four and a half. It's minus one twenty five.
The Suns are not reaching one hundred and five points.
It's not happening. I'll just tell you right now, it's

(02:00:14):
not going to happen. I don't care who's on the court.
For OKC, I would fade the Suns in that spot
for sure. All let's do Cracks play of the day.

Speaker 3 (02:00:25):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 1 (02:00:28):
All right, crack?

Speaker 5 (02:00:29):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (02:00:29):
Buddy?

Speaker 4 (02:00:30):
You know, I got a rare basketball side that I like.
And the line since got away a little bit, but
I have the MGM has a real good money line.
So Miami Heat laying two to one on the money line.
And I'll give you guys another baseball game too, And
these are all rated about the same, by the way,
Toronto Blue Jays over the Twins blue Jays at home
minus a dollar forty five. And have you guys been

(02:00:53):
doing baseball every do you guys? Bet baseball every day?
You too? Are you guys kind of staying away? Yeah? No,
not every day?

Speaker 2 (02:01:00):
Definitely not, Yes, till about June when I've just had
enough of it, and then get ready for football season.

Speaker 1 (02:01:08):
Preseason, oh man, preseason. You know I can't wait for
preseason football.

Speaker 3 (02:01:14):
Crack.

Speaker 2 (02:01:14):
I have taken Colorado football under four and a half wins,
by the way, and eight and a half. I'm starting
to dig into where it's gonna be.

Speaker 1 (02:01:24):
Wow. I didn't realize it was that dire. Lord, have
you taken the Irish over yet? Jeff? Just wait, it's just.

Speaker 3 (02:01:32):
One game, so that the verse Miami, it's all the
game that matters for that.

Speaker 1 (02:01:35):
That's pretty much it, all right, Everybody, enjoy the day,
happy masters, enjoy the NBA. We'll catch it soon

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
