Speaker 1 (00:00):
Kaboom if you thought four hours a day 1200 minutes
a week was enough think again he's the last remnants
of the old republic a sole bastion of fairness he
treats crackheads in the ghetto gutter the same as the
rich pill poppers in the penthouse wow the clearinghouse of
hot takes break free for something special the fifth hour
(00:23):
with ben maller starts right.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Now In the air everywhere, the Fifth Hour with me,
Ben Maller, and it is an extra special Labor Day
weekend on a Sunday here, the sixth day of September,
and we're about to make some history on the mailbag.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
And without further ado, for the first time in.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
The history of the mailbag, we have the first ever
I can't believe I'm saying this, but we're doing it.
Thank God for technology. The first ever round robin on
the mailbag. We welcome in our celebrity panel. from all
over the United States who have assembled here to form Voltron.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
On the 5th Hour Podcast. First of all, let's welcome
in from Tennessee.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Now, I always butcher the name of the town he's in,
but he's outside Knoxville. He's been to six Malheur meet
and greets. The man, the myth, the legend, JT the Wingman.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Hello, JT.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Oh, good.
Speaker 5 (01:30):
Hello, Ben. It is great to talk to you. And
it's Sevierville.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
Sevierville.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
Sevierville. Sevierville. It's real simple. Or you just say the
Smoky Mountains.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Good enough.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I like the Smoky Mountains. I like that.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Now, JT has been great over the years. He's from Wisconsin.
And he hides it very well, unless he doesn't. He
appreciates colders.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
And.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
In Florida, believe it or not, after all of the
chatter and all the speculation and being unable to get
the Zoom app, we welcome in from Hollywood, Florida, a
legend in the Malheur Militia, a man that survived a
hurricane while broadcasting from a lifeguard tower in Miami. Weed
(02:15):
Man Hippie!
Speaker 6 (02:18):
Wow, Ben, I'm so happy to be here. I love
you so much, and you're saving my life. I love
you so much.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
I'm not saving your life. I think Lisa is with
you as well. Is that correct? So this is technically,
we have a whatnot.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
Hi.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Hi, Lisa.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
All right.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
So this is great. Now we're up to four people.
How many people does it take to do a mailbag?
Now we, man, I want you to know.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
All right.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
We have no budget for this podcast.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
But I went, we got a gizmo, which obviously apparently
is working. We'll find out.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
I can't believe how well it's working. It's so great.
I couldn't get zoomed.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
And now JT is probably jealous because he's figured out Zoom,
so he's able to do it.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
This call will be recorded.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Oh, my God. Who's recording this phone call? Wait a minute.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Are you recording this phone call?
Speaker 3 (03:05):
How dare you?
Speaker 5 (03:10):
That and a dollar will get you a couple of
dollars at McDonald's.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
You hear that?
Speaker 3 (03:14):
I don't hear any fireworks. Hopefully, they're just fireworks and
not something else. But all right.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Let's get to the mailbag. First up, these are actual
questions by actual listeners. We thank everyone that wrote in
this week. Real Fifth Hour at GM.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
I do hear something, actually. Is that fireworks? Yeah, that's fireworks.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yes. It's amazing.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
I'm out with you doing the nail bags and there's
fireworks in.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Hollywood, Florida.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
America, America.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
All right. All right. So stupid.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
All right.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Reggie from Detroit writes in. He says, hey, Benny and whoever. Well,
that's JT and that's none other than the weed man
and Lisa and the whole. The whole gang is here today.
Reggie says, Benny, would you leave radio for a scratch gig?
And then he says there's a guy in southern China
who is earning $ 15, 000 a month.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
I'm going to make a dime. Are you joking?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Well, calm down. He actually works.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
He's got a $ 15, 000 a month gig scratching people's itches.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
He's got two. Yeah, yeah. So he's hired all women.
And he puts, like, special nails on them or what?
Speaker 4 (04:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
It's hard to describe.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
So he's more than kind of a hooker joint. You're
going there scratching.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I don't know that it's full service we've made, but
it's China.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
They have different rules there.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
But they built a business around professional itch scratching.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
And he's got two locations. Hired all the women. Makes
$ 15, 000 a month. He's trying to start a... $ 100, 000.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Are you kidding?
Speaker 2 (05:10):
All right, calm down, Weebit. So, JT, there's a market
for anything. Reggie asked if I would leave. For $ 15, 000
a month, my God, it would be very tempting to not. Although,
it's only women are doing this.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
But, you know, imagine $ 15, 000 a month, and all you're
doing is scratching. people's itches that's I.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Would just be.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Calm down we met JT go ahead JT please I.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Would just be afraid that people are looking for something
a little more than that you know the old kind
of happy ending things seems like it'd be coming.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
In real close yeah yeah the Robert Kraft the exactly yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Yeah But 15 grand a month, that's a lot of money.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
All right.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
Next.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Thank you, Reggie.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Next up is what do we got here? This is
Mike from Parts Unknown did not sign his name. And
he says, hey, Ben, do you think Doc Mike was
behind this study? So there was a.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Study done in regarding Mount Everest.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
And the if you guys saw this or not, Human
urine is melting away.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Oh, Doc Mike. It's the urine there.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Scientists believe that human urine is responsible for a huge
amount of Mount Everest glacier melting away. Researchers there, this
is wild. They're claiming 6,000 liters of urine a day.
1500 gallons that's a lot of wee wee that's a
lot of piss that is a lot uh researchers claim
(06:50):
well they say but they're trying to push back on
this because they're one of the client they always love
to go with the climate change but this is different
here uh they found that the urine situation They have
like a temporary city there at Mount Everest because so
many people love to climb Mount Everest.
Speaker 6 (07:05):
How many people are climbing Mount Everest that could possibly
happen in life?
Speaker 3 (07:12):
I'm not one of them we've met. I don't know
how many people are. Here's some numbers. I got the
story in front of me. Thanks to Mike. I don't
know about that.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Everest Base Camp operated roughly 1,600 tents.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
This is those tents.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
1600 tents. That's incredible. I never could have supposed that.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
Apparently these Sherpas are kind of like camels. They must
hold a lot of liquid in them.
Speaker 6 (07:42):
You're saying at any given moment in time, 1600 people
climbing Everest?
Speaker 2 (07:49):
No, no, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that,
that it operated roughly. This was during the 50 day, uh,
spring season so i guess it depends on what time
of the year it is it's not it's not no
no i'm saying that that it certain parts of the
year the weather's better so people climb it um so
(08:12):
yeah they this is wild though because urine leaves the
body warm researchers calculated that the thermal energy could theoretically
melt about 154 tons of ice.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
That's ridiculous. That's impossible. That's not true.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Well, what's your science degree, Weed Man?
Speaker 6 (08:36):
All I know is, no matter how many people are
climbing Mount Everest, if they pee on the side of
a mountain.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
It's not going to melt the mountain.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
I'm just skimming the story. I'm trying to get to
the bottom of this here.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
Let's see.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
I'm trying to give you a logical perspective.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Well, researchers emphasize that they brought up climate change again, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
bizarre urine finding illustrating how putting a temporary city with generators, heaters, kitchens,
and thousands of people directly on a glacier, obviously it
localizes the melting, the base camp, they said moving the
(09:20):
base camp to stable ground should eventually be considered.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
So JT, you're a climber. Calm down.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
I can't say I'm a climber. However, you know, I
did go to graduate school for physics back in the
day and I studied thermodynamics. I had a class in
thermodynamics and I, I get part of the science, but
the numbers don't seem to really add up for me.
And I don't think we're going to be really worried
about watching the yellow wave. fly down Mount Everest anytime soon.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
All right.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
It says, unlike solid waste, which is generally collected and
carried away, much of the urine is discharged directly onto
the glacier.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
All right. You know, this is disgusting. this is disgusting.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
All right.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
It's like all I'm visualizing, yellow snow, yellow waste. Hey,
I think we should celebrate. We should celebrate.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Well, I know, but I think we should celebrate that we're,
as humans, we have something very powerful, our urine.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
This is great, right? I mean, come on now, we
can take.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
That.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Well, it doesn't matter how many at the same time.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
If there's a thousand people up there, how many times
does the average person go to the bathroom?
Speaker 4 (10:36):
A thousand? You took one mouth every day?
Speaker 3 (10:39):
I'm never going to climb Mount Everest. I'm never going
to be. I have no idea. I'm never going to
be there.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
All right.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Kevin in Kansas writes in on a mailbag. This is crazy.
Speaker 6 (10:51):
You make it sound like a busy building in Manhattan.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
Hold on, Ben. Before you go on, the only thing
that could top that for Doc Mike is if a
bunch of goat's heads started floating down the mountain, too.
I mean, oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Good old– Doc Mike's semi-retired from calling the show. He
does not call me every week anymore, which is good,
but he'll still check in from time to time, Doc Mike.
Kevin in Kansas writes and says, Dear Ben, and special
home slice, or in this case, slices with JT the wingman.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
We've got Weed Man and Lisa. Look at this.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
This is a celebrity panel. Brown Robin edition. He says
this past week I was visiting family in Phoenix and
we were able to stop at Bucky's. I had to
force myself not to buy any beaver nuggets because they
wouldn't have survived the 15 minute drive home. What food
do you have to ban from your diet because you
know it will test your self-control? uh i don't know
(11:46):
i i don't know i ban anything i my thing
is i eat once a day usually on the weekends
i'll eat more than once but uh.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
You only eat once a day ben.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yeah yeah it's a intermittent fasting because i i.
Speaker 6 (11:59):
I eat twice a day like every day but most people.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Eat three times jt do you eat three times a
day yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
I yeah i eat at least three meals a day
i do like to snack a little when i'm on
my keto diet i always i do snack on a
lot of um like peanuts or some kind of nuts.
What time of day do you eat, Dan?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
I usually eat when I'm watching the early baseball games
or basketball, whatever. It's like usually, uh, you know, here
in LA, the games start like four o'clock. So yeah,
but I, I sleep during the day cause I work overnight.
So I'm, I'm sleeping, I'll get up and then I'll,
I drink a lot of water. I fill my stomach
with water. So that's my thing.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
What is your sleeping arrangement, Ben? I always wonder, when
do you sleep? You've got to sleep, Weed Man.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
You've got to sleep. Ben, I swear to God to you.
Speaker 6 (12:58):
I can't tell you how long I have not slept.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
All right. That does not seem possible.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
I'm curious.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
I usually sleep somewhere from like six 30 to like.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
11 or something like that.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
It's a small, sometimes if I'm feeling frisky, I'll sleep
till noon. What about you? You have kind of weird,
you're a driver, right? You drive around.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
Yeah, I'm a driver. I am kind of, I have
a kind of weird sleep pattern. You know, I work for,
I do work technically for a shift, uh, So I
typically go to bed like 9 o'clock Eastern time, of course,
and I get up at 3.30 in the morning. And
that gets me in just in time during the middle
of just hour number two of the show. So I
listen to the second half hour or two until the
(13:41):
beginning of the show, and I start work right literally
as the show is ending.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
All right, so you're up. That is a crazy schedule.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I'd ask you when you sleep, but you don't sleep,
so I.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
Don't need to.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
I never ever sleep. I can't even tell you the
last time I ever slept. It's terrible.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
I can't imagine that.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Well, it's good for me that... Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Well, you're also watching YouTube videos most of the.
Speaker 6 (14:12):
Time, to be fair. My life is so wasted. I
cannot tell you how I waste my life.
Speaker 5 (14:19):
No.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
This is the best thing I've done. I can't tell
you how long since I'm on the phone with you.
You're the only meaningful thing in my life. I swear
to God.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
That's not true.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
You got Lisa. And here's the thing, man. Listen, you're still,
you're alive. You can change your story. You're always, as
long as you're alive, you can change.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
I have all the time. I don't have anything to do.
This is the closest thing I have to something to do.
All right.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
All right.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
And Lisa, do you have normal hours? You're on the
phone with him all night though, Lisa, right?
Speaker 4 (14:49):
I mean, you guys are. Okay. All right.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
I assume you have normal schedule, right?
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Lisa. You wanted to know what, when I sleep.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Do you have like a normal schedule? Like you are
normal or are you up late at night?
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yes.
Speaker 7 (15:05):
No, I sleep from midnight to about.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
4 45 AM.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (15:09):
I got you. except when weed man calls me for
your show which is a.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Couple days a week all right ferg dog writes in
from fullerton he says hello ben.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Hi fergie and don't don't encourage.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Him uh hello ben and anyone but robbie i hope
wow well you'll be very happy because we have a
round robin here as you've been listening to so with
with jt and and weed man and lisa And FergDog says, Ben,
I don't like to complain, but I have to say
I found last Saturday's episode very misleading. When I saw
(15:45):
it was named White Whale, I instantly got excited that
it would be a replay of the most elusive, greatest
guest in the history of the Fifth Hour, Brian Billick.
No matter how much I liked the episode, it was
never going to match the excitement of Coach Billick's interview. Yeah,
we did spend a lot of time with trying to
track down Brian Billick. Anyway, he says your talk with
(16:08):
Bernie Frato on Friday was definitely not a letdown.
Speaker 6 (16:11):
At least.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
I do wish you guys were a bit kinder to
my favorite sports league, the WNBA, though.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
I'm sure for a guy.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
One thing that came up in the interview was how
much prep you guys both do for your show. I
know you've had issues with your notes before during Mellor
monologues without anybody noticing. Have you ever considered doing a
completely no prep show to see if listeners would still notice?
Speaker 3 (16:34):
I think it would be a fun test. Well, I
would love that.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Just roll in there and not do any prep. My
life would be, if I only had to do four
hours and not have to do any prep, that would
be great. But, no, I'd feel guilty, so I don't
think I— I mean, I've had to do it before because
things have happened with my computer or if I've traveled.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
You know, these things pop up, but nah.
Speaker 6 (16:54):
You know, Ben, I thought about that, that you'd have
to— that you'd probably do much prep to your show every night.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
I thought about that. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
No, it's not— people think you just show up and do
four hours, but it's a lot of stuff that goes
into it prior.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
To the four hours. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
The easiest part. Yeah, the easiest part is the four hours.
That's the easy part. The getting ready.
Speaker 6 (17:12):
You have to map out all your monologues.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
I put bullet points down for every monologue and I
got a lot of stuff in front of me.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
It's amazing what you do.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
I love you, man.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
That's tremendous sucking up weed, man. I appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
No, but there's a lot of, listen, I'm sure JT,
when you're with you, what you have, right.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
You, you have.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
That's part of the beauty of what I do for
the most part. I really don't have to do a
lot of prep. Unless there are a few things that I'll,
that I have to haul that have a little more
work involved. But for the most part with my job,
it's part of the beauty is I go to work.
I just do it. And when I'm done, I get
to go home. For the most part, work doesn't follow
(17:56):
me home, and I love that.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Yeah, my job follows me.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
I was watching a bunch of college football all day
on Saturday, and the.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
NFL is starting this week. So it's always something.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
We don't really break the games down very much unless
they're playoff games, but I still feel like I need
to watch them for some reason. I enjoy watching them.
There are some days I don't enjoy watching them, but
for the most part, I do. And my wife has
a similar job. She does not need to do any
prep for her work. So she kind of shows up
and then.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Which is great.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
Yeah, Wednesday night, NFL, the Seahawks and the Patriots.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
And then Thursday, the Rams and 49ers from, what, Australia, right?
So it's going to be Australia.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
Yeah, yeah. Think 49ers, Rams.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
You think Australia.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Al from the editing room writes in. He says, greetings, Ben,
and spin the wheel of gas. That's JT, the wingman,
and the man, the myth, the legend, right over there.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Our friend weed man and Lisa met Alf, by the way, JT,
you were not able to make it to the one in.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
Yeah, that was a bummer. I would love to meet
Alf yet. Hopefully maybe, maybe one of these days I'll
get to, I'm sure you'll be back in Boston again.
That does seem to be a pretty frequent landing spot
for you. I would certainly like to get there.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Yeah, we do. We do well in Boston. We always
have a good crowd there. Have fun.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Anyway, it says, Ben, you recently spoke on your, of
your new tech toys, uh, But what happened to your
old toys? You remember specifically the one that your original
stick in the mud producer shunned you from using your
sound effect board. Yeah, I, we did F around with
when the fifth hour years ago, I used to play
(19:37):
a lot of sound effects and crap and it didn't
sound as good.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
I had fun with it, but then I just started
playing buttons and it, you know, kind of got away
from it. So it's better without it. I, I when
I have sound effect boards in front of me I
just hit everything I everything's funny to me I.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
It's not great.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
But the latest gizmo, which I think, Weedman, this is
your favorite gizmo that allows me to do the Fifth
Hour podcast with a– we have– normally we do it
on Zoom. We still have– JT's on Zoom right now,
but Weedman's just on the regular phone. So this– Have
you shown the WEI? No, no, I haven't done that
(20:17):
since 2018, I think. It's been– It's been a while.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
I haven't done– I used to call you up and W-E-E-R.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Yeah, I did the night show. I filled in at
night for two years.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Yeah, 2017, 2018.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
That's so long ago now.
Speaker 6 (20:35):
I can't believe that's eight years ago.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
I know, I know. It's crazy. Yeah, well, what happened?
Speaker 2 (20:42):
They loved me over there, but what happened, our radio
show got picked up by the rival station in Boston,
so I couldn't... They're competitors, so I couldn't work at
EEI because we're on the sports hub, so it became
a bit of a kerfluffle.
Speaker 6 (21:00):
Your night show was not on WEI back then?
Speaker 3 (21:04):
No, it was, I'm saying, but we switched affiliates in Boston.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
Yeah, but I had a great time. It was fun. Everyone,
you know, I love doing the show.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
It gives me a little less, but I was doing
the Red Sox postgame show.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
How crazy is that? I was doing Red Sox review.
That was insane.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Yeah, people were leaving Fenway, calling me up, asking me
about the game.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
All right.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
What else you got? Scott from Florida writes in on
a round robin mail. This is amazing, everybody. Look at this. JT,
the wingman. We got Weedman. Lisa, this is crazy.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Lisa, you're there, right? Yes.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Lisa's like, what?
Speaker 4 (21:50):
She's about to go to bed.
Speaker 5 (21:53):
If anyone has a fitness question, I'll answer it.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Lisa is a fitness professional her whole life.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
She's a guru.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Scott says, sometimes I ask people this question because I
always have a strong opinion on it. I will ask
you because it is once again relevant. Who do you
believe is the richest idiot in the world? In the
history of Microsoft, only one CEO.
Speaker 6 (22:18):
Elon Musk is only worth almost a trillion dollars, 800
million now.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
That was not his question we meant. He said the
richest idiot in the world.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
He says in the history of Microsoft, only one CEO
jumped around stage like a teenager in heat, sweating and
yelling like a deranged lunatic, overseeing a stock price that
fell around 30% during his 14-year tenure. His company's stock
price has literally gone straight up. With any other CEO,
aside from the lucky Sperm Club members, wow.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
Do you know.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Someone more financially successful with less talent than Steve Ballmer
in the world?
Speaker 4 (22:52):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (22:53):
Well, Steve Ballmer is a co-founder of Microsoft, though.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
No, but he's saying that Scott's pointing out that the
stock went down.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
He's the guy, Weed Man, that got on stage. I
know you know the story, JT.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
He got on stage and started screaming about how no
one's going to buy the iPhone.
Speaker 7 (23:10):
It's too expensive.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
I've been lucky. I've met a lot of rich people.
I don't really give them an IQ test or whatever.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I just kind of treat everyone the same, so I
don't really know if they're smart or not. I If
you hear stories about people that just kind of got
lucky at the right time.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
And.
Speaker 6 (23:37):
Most people didn't have a lot of money, just kind
of walked into a little bit somehow.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Yeah, a lot of people inherited. It's all about time.
Mark Cuban, who used to own the Mavericks, but Mark sold.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
audio like an audio website in the early days of
the internet yeah i believe that's it and he made
a gazillion like a ton of money like he and
it was him and his partner so i mean good
for him he came up with something that was.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Of value but i don't know i i it's hard
to say.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Who's uh you have anybody jt any rich guy that
you think's a complete dullard anyone come to mind not
that really i.
Speaker 5 (24:14):
Mean obviously that's it's sometimes people just seem to walk
into this money and you, a lot of, usually it's
always the second generation of, you know, generational wealth. And
by the time he gets to the third, usually it's
pretty chaotic and they either blow it or whatever. So
if they're fools. a fool in their money. It's usually
gone by the third generation.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Yeah, you see that in sports with ownership, like the second,
third family that owns a team.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Look at the Raiders. Yeah, look at the Jets. Yeah,
look at the Jets.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
Johnson's, right?
Speaker 3 (24:45):
The Lakers with Jeannie Buss. I guess she's going to
sell it.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
What happened with the Lakers?
Speaker 6 (24:50):
Jeannie Buss sold her Jets and sold the team to who?
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Well, originally she sold to Mark Walter, who then sold
to this other, I guess, what's this guy? Trump's buddy's
friend or brother, Kushner. Not the one in the White House,
the other guy.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
And then, yes.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
Jared Kushner is Trump's son-in-law.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Well, it's– no, it's the other– what's the guy's name?
I forget. All these Kushners are the same. I don't know. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
So, yeah, Genie's in a lawsuit now to try to
keep a small percentage of the Lakers.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
It's a– you know, family, man. You fight over money.
This happens. People die. They fight over money. That's what happens, man.
I've had– in my family, one of my aunts passed away.
There was a big mess with relatives.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
It sucks. It sucks.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
I hate that. Barry from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
How far is Chattanooga from you, Jay?
Speaker 5 (25:46):
Strangely enough, Ben, I was in Chattanooga today, went to
Chattanooga Whiskey Distilling Company, had a blast.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
That's great.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
It's about an hour and a half.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
All right.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yeah, so I actually have a relative that lives not
far from you, JT, an in-law family type thing.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
I want to go to Chattanooga just because I love
the Chattanooga choo-choo when I was a kid.
Speaker 5 (26:11):
And I was actually in that building too.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Where do I know that Chattanooga from? I must have
been in my 20s when I was a kid.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
The Chattanooga choo-choo. Come on, that's legendary.
Speaker 5 (26:23):
Actually, their minor league ball team has, in my opinion,
one of the best logos ever. Those two little eyes,
the lookouts, I love it.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
That's cool. That's cool.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
Anyway, Barry says yo-yo Ma Benny and his friend, he found,
this is crazy, because he found, Barry, a copy. It's
not a great copy, but it's a copy of Jerry
Jones talking about circumcising a mosquito.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
We've been trying to find this audio.
Speaker 6 (26:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Me some glory hole yeah well that we got that
but yeah jerry this audio is like for some reason
almost impossible to find i have no idea how barry found.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
It and it.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Was like 10 years ago he was talking about tony
romo and then there was something about the injury and
it was everyone was if i remember correctly it was
like romo they were asking questions and he was like
He's like, oh, it's like circumcising a mosquito, meaning you're
microscopically analyzing everything.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
So thank you.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Oh, Jerry Jones.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Well, one thing he's not is poor. Quang writes in
from Parts Unknown. There's all kinds of bells and I
don't know.
Speaker 5 (27:40):
You're indeed human. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
What is that?
Speaker 3 (27:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
I thought that was you doing sound effects.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
No, I'm not doing that. I don't know. Somebody's doing something.
You guys are killing me. I'm thinking it's you, Weedman.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Quang says, Big Ben, this email was originally for your return, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
He says, first tennis legend Martina Navratilova is featured.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Oh, these are some documentaries, he says.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Chris and Martina, the final set, he recommended to watch that,
a Netflix documentary exploring the remarkable careers.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
And friendship with Chris Everett and Martina Navratilova. Yeah. It's like,
I don't know. You guys are probably around my age.
Tennis back in the 80s, man.
Speaker 4 (28:20):
You had.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
It's.
Speaker 6 (28:21):
Interesting right now that Venus and Serena played in Wimbledon.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
I own the U.S. Open.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
Conor Macaron, Ivan Lendl.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
What's that?
Speaker 4 (28:30):
They play doubles.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Yeah, I know, I know, but I'm saying like the
old school, like, well, John McEnroe and.
Speaker 5 (28:36):
Yep, Jimmy Connors, Yvonne Lendl.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
Nobody brings up Borg.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
To me, Borg was the best.
Speaker 6 (28:44):
I used to sit home on 4th and July and
watch at Wimbledon.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
I loved you and Borg.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
All right. I didn't have that.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
Oh, yeah, Borg in that flowing air.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
All right. Well, listen, everyone called me. And then he says,
what else on the documentary? He says.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
The AI doc, or how I became in blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
It's on Peacock, so it's about artificial intelligence. Anyway, it says,
Big Ben, when you're traveling, you are a documentary guy,
or do you prefer to completely shut off your brain
and watch something mindless? Yeah, I didn't watch much TV
(29:23):
in Vegas. We were out doing stuff. I mean, you
don't really go there to watch TV in.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
Vegas, so.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Now, Weed Man, JT the Wingman's been to six of
these meet and greets. How many have you been to,
Weed Man?
Speaker 4 (29:39):
I wish I had money. I wish I had a car.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
All right.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
Maybe we'll come to Miami or something like that. We'll
do it in Miami.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
My wife is just in the lowest.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Thing right now all right all.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
Right calm down what'd you say jt what were you
saying that's.
Speaker 5 (30:00):
A florida meet and greet be great we could have
weed man we could have coach russell there's i know
there's a couple other characters out of uh out of
florida that uh the call.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
So we do well we let me let me tell
you something the uh the older gentleman that can't sleep
love the show so we're very popular angry.
Speaker 5 (30:15):
Bill we need angry bill can you imagine at a
meet and greet.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
I thought he was going to show up to the
one in South Carolina. There were rumors, but he was
very angry at that time with me, so I was concerned, actually.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
Even Jerome didn't show up, but it was down the street.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
I know.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
I know.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
I was there.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
I know.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
You showed up.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Oh, yeah. Anyway, well, here's an email from JT. I
guess we'll skip over that one, because you're on the show, JT.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (30:43):
Oh, you know, it's a pretty good one this week.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
All right, all right. I'll ask Weedman.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
He says, as I reflect on the excitement of last
week's Mallard meet and greet in Vegas, I couldn't help
but wonder, do you have a favorite utensil?
Speaker 3 (30:57):
I am quite fond of the dinner fork.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
But can certainly respect the utility of the spork and
the thrill of cutting food and other objects with a
good steak knife that certainly has its own merits as well.
The butter knife, to me, is like an Oreo cookie.
Without enough cream filling, it just doesn't get the job done.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
And then he wants to know about that, our opinion. So,
Weed Man, I will defer to you.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
Weed Man, this is a question from the great JT
the Wingman. from, let me see here.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
Smartness does no use to me.
Speaker 6 (31:34):
A good cutting knife two nice forks, a plastic fork,
a spoon, two spoons, one spoon that.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
I used for the peanut butter, and that's about it.
I'm good like that.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
All right.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
I'd say I love the spork because it's so unique.
I only get it when I get fast food, though.
I don't have it at the house, obviously.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
Taco Bell always has them.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
The spork fork, for real.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
Mashed potatoes, and then you can also eat them at KFC.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
KFC, yep.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
Yeah, they do.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
They do. I haven't had any KFC in a very
long time. I miss it.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
Why don't you go eat some?
Speaker 4 (32:16):
There's no KFC around here. All right. There's not a
McDonald's around here either.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
Do you have a bike?
Speaker 5 (32:23):
Weed Man, I do envision a problem.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
No, no.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
Weed Man trying to eat chicken. Hold on a second.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
JT brings up a good point.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
Go ahead, JT.
Speaker 5 (32:33):
How are you going to eat chicken off the bone
without your teeth? Because your teeth, as we know, have
been long lost.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
That's a great question.
Speaker 6 (32:42):
But, you know, I have 13 teeth in my mouth.
I have 26 that you should have.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
I can eat with half my teeth. I can still
eat from chicken.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
All right. All right. Thank God. Hallelujah. All right. Dylan
from Arizona writes in.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
He says, Ben, do you think this is a relative
of Jeannie in Medford.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
Or Beardring, Brian? And it's the story this week.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Dylan sent 70,000 pints of Guinness were stolen in a
massive beer.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
House in the UK.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
Stolen from an industrial estate in the UK. Roughly 70,000
pints stolen. Two trailers were stolen. So, yeah, I'm sure
that's like a second cousin of beer-drinking Brian.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Is there a black market for that? How much can
you get? How much does 70,000 pints of pinot?
Speaker 4 (33:30):
They're so bad to drink it.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
JT, the women.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
I remember being back when I was first getting my
CDL 13 years ago. I remember a topic they talked
about how important it is to have your freight secured
and that certain types of loads, like when you get
a load of like cigarettes or something like that, that's
very easily to resell that that stuff's under really tight security.
And so that it obviously gets to its end place
(33:59):
and the correct end place.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
Yeah, I would think for sure.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
For sure.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Next up is a, I don't know what else to say, Dylan,
but thank you for that. Abe in San Diego writes in,
he says, hello, Ben.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
And, you know, whoever.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
I wanted to especially thank you and everybody at the
past Saturday Mallard meet and greet at the stakeout. Was
very glad to be in Las Vegas this past weekend.
Make time to attend and meet, among others, Ben, Lee, Lorena, Mrs.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Mallard, Slug, and others. I think JT as well.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
I had a very lively time and a much more
appreciative perspective.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
Of your work and efforts today.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
In the radio land where I am, my pets spend
a lot of time in the evenings and overnight.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
Unfortunately, I missed the group photo.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Had to speed off a little early without much of
a proper goodbye. That's an Irish goodbye, Abe. I like
the Irish goodbye. In order to make a UNLV football pregame.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
Event, I was going to. I knew this going in.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
That I would be cutting it close, but please let
everyone know I had a great time, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
All right.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
Well, thank you.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
Did anybody win money in Vegas? I did.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
I lost less than $ 100, so I was pretty happy.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
That's a win if you lose less than $ 100.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Amen, yes.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
And I still got a couple futures bets out there.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
You ate and you shaved it? You're great.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Our friend, what's his name? Supermarket Steve, I think he
won some money.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
I think he did okay.
Speaker 5 (35:35):
Yes, I think he won some money.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
Yeah, Super Bowl, Steve was there the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
Matt in Austin writes, and he says, Ben, how many
lawsuits are going to come from the Heat at the.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
Game on Saturday? I guess, I don't know if you
guys saw this or not, so.
This is a big thing. So it was extreme heat.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
Texas beat Texas State 59-7 on Saturday. But paramedics, no,
that's not the story we've been. Paramedics were in the stands,
rushing into the stands with stretchers. People were overcome by
the heat at Darryl King.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
Yeah, yeah, the game started at 2.30 p.m. local time.
in Austin.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
And so they got like 100,000 people, whatever it is there.
The forecast said 97 degrees, but conditions were expected to
feel about 107 in direct sunlight. And these people are drinking.
They're standing out there. Fans were seeking shelter and shade.
Medical personnel tending to people suffering from the heat.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
And.
What about the fans? Fans weed, man. They're needing medical attention.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
I'm sorry. I didn't think the players would go down.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
It's like sitting in a frying pan.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
You've been to these games in the hot weather.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
It's brutal.
Speaker 5 (36:52):
It's... It's going to be a little bit warm, that's
for sure.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. They had four designated cooling stations. I
don't know, Matt. I'm sure there'll be lawsuits. People sue
for everything, right? That's what people do. They file lawsuits.
Speaker 5 (37:06):
Well, here in Tennessee this week, they actually, you know,
it was quite warm.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
They had air conditioning.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Calm down, Wee Man. Go ahead, JT.
Speaker 5 (37:13):
It was our warmest week. Yesterday was actually the warmest
day of the year in Knoxville. And the football teams took,
took a cue from FIFA and they had hydration breaks
during the Friday night football games.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
Oh man.
Speaker 5 (37:27):
Crazy.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
That is crazy.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
Well, we met you're in Miami. It gets hot, but
it never doesn't. It never go like a hundred degrees
in Miami, right?
Speaker 6 (37:33):
It's always, No, you see, every night you see the
danger areas on the map, on the news, and it's
never Miami.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
Miami's never 110 like it is in some parts of
the country.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
But it's always warm in Miami. It's just never.
Speaker 6 (37:48):
It's always warm.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
All right.
Speaker 4 (37:52):
Never like over 100.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
All right.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
Ryan in Shrewsbury... Mass writes in. He says, hey, Ben,
and special guests, or whatever. I've been away for a while,
but I've been keeping up with the podcast. We have
had a family tragedy. My beloved father-in-law sadly passed away
on August 21st.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
After a brief battle with cancer.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Me and the wife will be doing a cancer walk
October 4th in Boston. Sticking with this sad topic, Ryan says,
do you think there will ever be a cure for
the terrible disease this terrible disease, or do you think
there is a cure, but keeping it away from the public?
Speaker 3 (38:30):
That's from Ryan. Yeah, well, I'm not a doctor.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
I can play one on the radio. But from what
I understand, the problem is cancer is not one thing.
You know how people say Africa, there's a million countries
in Africa? Cancer is not just one thing. It's a
bunch of different types of, as I understand it. I
lost my mom to cancer.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (38:49):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
It's a problem. It's a horrible thing.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
I've lost several relatives to it. So it's, it's, it's brutal,
you know, but it's not, as I understand it, it's
not just one thing. And they have been able to
solve some of, some of the cancers. And it's like,
as a, as a man, like prostate cancer, you get screen,
you can, it is preventative in that they can catch
it early and it's not that big a deal and
(39:13):
all that stuff. So like, there are certain things like that.
I don't, Yeah, like the conspiracy, I don't think that
they have the cure for it.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
Have they? Come on, it's a scary, scary thing. When
I think about dying, I.
Speaker 6 (39:30):
attacks and cancer are the only thing I can kill
people these days.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
Well, there's other things, too. But, yeah, no, I got it.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
And I believe the conspiracy more that there's a way
to run cars on water.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
I believe that more than I believe there's a... Because famous... No, no, no.
I mean.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Back back but jt the we may remember the story
back in the old days there was a guy supposedly
came up with a way to run a car on
one water and then he he got he got whacked
i guess that was the lady yeah you see.
Speaker 5 (40:00):
Those internet you see those internet oh no i never
just i never heard that my.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
Life calm down we may go ahead jt.
Speaker 5 (40:07):
Yes yeah you see i'll see those things every once
in a while online that you can plug in something
to like the uh the data port in your car
and It'll increase your gas mileage to 150 miles per gallon.
I'm like, this is real. Everybody would know about this.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
The conspiracy is the oil companies were like, that'll kill
their business.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
If you can run on water, then why would you
need oil? That would destroy the global oil economy.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
You can run cars on anything but gas. That's insane.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
Well, you would think you would be able to. I mean,
you can run a car on electricity.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
I don't know about water.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
All right, let's do a couple more. We've gotten very
long here. You guys are so great. I love you both.
And Lisa as well.
Speaker 4 (40:51):
I love all of you.
Speaker 3 (40:51):
All right, Joey from L.A. writes in, have enjoyed your
show for many years here living in SoCal. I saw
a clip.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
From your show was used on Pablo Torre's YouTube show
on the Dodgers and Magic Johnson. Did you know he
was going to use it? And are you friends with him?
That's from Joey in LA. No, I had no idea
he was going to use it, and I have never
met him in my life. I'm happy that he did.
They got a lot of attention on Friday. But no,
(41:18):
I didn't. I don't think they asked for permission. They
just said courtesy of the Ben Maller show on there.
And they used like a small clip.
Speaker 3 (41:24):
It was not a.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
Not a big thing. But thanks for noticing, Joey. I
appreciate that. Any publicity we can get, we have no
marketing budget. No marketing budget. Kyle from Indiana writes in, says, Benny,
watching your YouTube videos, I've noticed a bunch of different hats.
How do you decide which hat to wear per night?
Can listeners send in hats? What size are you blocked?
Speaker 3 (41:44):
Blah, blah, blah. Yes, Kyle. I don't get any mail.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
Oh, the only person who gets mail now is Lorena.
She's the only one that gets mail. None of us
are allowed to get mail other than Lorena. She's got
hot girl privileges. So I used to get hats all
the time. I'm a size eight. I love minor league hats.
I love hats with B on them. I love local businesses,
supporting local businesses, mom and pop businesses and all that. I,
(42:08):
you know, like I said, anything is good. Kyle also
says big fan here in the Hoosier state. You should
come here and do a meet and greet. I would
love to do that, Kyle. We don't have an endless budget.
Why don't we do one more here? One more, and
we'll do a round robin here. Everybody's involved here. Marshall
from Colorado writes in, and he says, Snoop Dogg is hiring.
Speaker 3 (42:31):
For the world's greatest job. Hey, this could be your gig.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
Weed Man.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
He says, apparently this is a real gig, and it's
not just a publicity stunt.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
According to the New York Post, Snoop Dogg's Dr.
Speaker 2 (42:44):
Bombay ice cream brand is hiring its first international ice
cream taster.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
The pay is $ 10, 000 per month for three months.
Speaker 4 (42:52):
$ 30, 000!
Speaker 3 (42:52):
I'll do it!
Speaker 2 (42:52):
$ 10, 000!
Speaker 6 (42:54):
$ 10, 000! $ 10, 000!
Speaker 5 (43:02):
Not very often does Weed Man get excited about a job.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
I know, right?
Speaker 2 (43:06):
It's an independent contractor position. The mission is essentially taste
ice cream, travel, discover trends.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
Weed Man, I love you. What else does it say
about this?
Speaker 2 (43:21):
I guess anybody can apply for it. And you don't
have to have any professional credentials. Do you even like ice.
Speaker 3 (43:28):
Cream, though, Weed Man? Are you even a foodie?
Speaker 4 (43:30):
Asking my young show all right all.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
Right i'm just checking i got you uh 30 applications
open in late august uh and so they will stay
open for a couple more i guess it's still over
i'll try to find you the link weed man i'll send.
Speaker 3 (43:51):
You the link how about that oh that'd be great
Can you imagine, JT, if he got.
Speaker 5 (43:55):
No problem, they'll just email him back. Good luck with.
Speaker 4 (43:59):
That, Weed Man. That's a good point. It sounds like
working in a Baskin-Robbins store.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
JT brings up a good point. You don't have email,
Weed Man. How are you going to apply for the job?
You have to have an email address to apply for
the job, buddy.
Speaker 4 (44:10):
I don't know. That's hard. Lisa, you'll do that, okay?
All right.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
But that's not her response. How old are you even?
Speaker 4 (44:16):
My God.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
All right. Anyway, we'll get out of it. Listen, I
love you both.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
It's a holiday weekend. You guys, we record this at
an odd time. We had to wake JT up here.
Speaker 4 (44:24):
Are we done?
Speaker 3 (44:26):
Well, we're not. Pick it up, Weed Man. This is
the wrap up here.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
JT, do you have anything you want to promote? JT
the Wingman, I'll let you go first.
Speaker 5 (44:35):
I'm just looking forward to the next meeting. It'll be
number seven. Seeing you last week was fantastic, Ben. Weed Man,
getting to speak with you one-on-one for the first time.
Another pleasure and another first. It's been a great night
and I really appreciate this. Or good morning, of course,
because it's Sunday.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
That's right. All right. And Weed Man, anything you want
to promote, Weed Man? Anything at all?
Speaker 4 (44:56):
I love you.
Speaker 6 (44:58):
Just know, just know, you know, I used to do
a television show for years.
Speaker 4 (45:05):
In my life. And the only thing I love doing
in my.
Speaker 6 (45:09):
Life is talking to people and loving people and showing
people the better side of life, that life is good
and happy and He's always happy. And this is like
the only chance I've ever gotten in this part of
my life.
Speaker 4 (45:23):
To do anything like this. I love you, Ben. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (45:25):
We love you. You get great energy, Weed Man. Try
to get an email.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Then you can get back on Twitter and X and
all your people will love you. And so if you
get an email address, you get back on Twitter.
Speaker 4 (45:37):
Well, I can have my name spelled wrong. It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
Well, you can change that. There's ways to change it.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
And Lisa, thank you for staying up and being part
of this as well.
Speaker 4 (45:46):
Oh, I'm happy, happy, healthy. Awesome Labor Day weekend, everyone.
Speaker 5 (45:52):
Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (45:53):
Labor Day, how about that?
Speaker 6 (45:56):
Labor Day, it's Labor Day every day for you, Bill.
Speaker 3 (46:01):
That's a good point. Yes, Weed Man, it's Labor Day
every day.
Speaker 4 (46:06):
We're on for Monday. You're not taking off, huh?
Speaker 3 (46:10):
I am not.
Speaker 2 (46:12):
I was forced to take a day off in Vegas
because I couldn't get a studio, but I will be
working as far, unless something happens, I will be in
every night.
Speaker 3 (46:19):
So we'll have fresh radio shows every single night. Have
a great day.
Speaker 4 (46:23):
I'll be there Monday. And thank you so much for
having me on this now. This is great. I love it.
Speaker 3 (46:29):
All right, and have a great rest of your Sunday.
Speaker 2 (46:33):
And we'll be back tonight on the regular radio show.
Speaker 3 (46:37):
All right, there's a lot of noise. Bye-bye.
Speaker 4 (46:39):
All right, see you.
