Speaker 2 (01:24):
It's gonna make every tail gate good.
Speaker 5 (01:26):

the original Louisiana Hot sauce. Make sure you buy you

It's Goldtown.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
All right, you know what it is. We got our guys,

the NBA, maybe even college. So without further ado, how
you feeling, man? How you how you doing? How's your
Saturday going?
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Sir?
Speaker 6 (02:20):
At first off, shut out to Louisiana Hot Sauce. You
know I'm coming out here and I'm keeping it fighty.
I'm keeping it here. I want to put the Louisiana
hot sauce on my.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Fried chicken tennis. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
I want to do that, man.
Speaker 6 (02:35):
So Labar, I was listening. I was listening into this
show that I.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Think I heard you say you got to go to like.
Speaker 6 (02:42):
Fifteen stores on a Saturday, just like me. Huh, you
got to go to a bunch of stores with your
lady after the show.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Oh yeah, I'm on the move. Now, I'm on the move.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
I gotta hur do a splash bath and get get
to it. You did put my steppers on.
Speaker 6 (02:57):
It always starts out like let's go to one store
and it ends up like next thing, you know, boom.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
It's like Devinteine stories, right, It's like what happens. What
happens on my Saturday?
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Bro? We got to.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Playoff watching these games. Yeah, I say, I'm gonna be
on my phone watching these games. It's what I'm gonna
be doing.
Speaker 6 (03:13):
So you know, DJJ TJ. I heard you say your
son has five games this weekend.
Speaker 7 (03:19):
Brother, he has to today to tomorrow and then uh
bracket play Monday.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
But we haven't played.
Speaker 7 (03:27):
We haven't played a tournament probably in about three weeks.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
We just been practicing for yeah week, are they back in?
Speaker 5 (03:36):
So?
Speaker 6 (03:36):
Are you are you coaching TJ?
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Are you just being a dad or are you Are
you swinging.
Speaker 6 (03:40):
Swinging on the sideline today or you are you coaching day?
Speaker 7 (03:44):
I ain't swinging on the sideline. I'm ready to swing.
If somebody else ready to swing, we know them, we
know that. I'm I'm a parent, man, I'm a parent.
I don't be talking trash though, I just be when
refs make like they gonna make bad cause when they
make terrible calls, I say something.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
And I don't really go out other parents like that.
Speaker 7 (04:05):
And so I don't want other parents to come at
me like that because I don't say nothing to you,
So don't say nothing to me.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
That's just I don't get that.
Speaker 6 (04:11):
For those listening at home, a swing and swinging dad
is the dad who whenever his son gets the ball,
you know it's shooting, shooting shooters cuffs.
Speaker 7 (04:25):
Hey, this is this is what this is what I like. Though,
like the way my son plays. He played the right way,
he double team, he passes, he not shooting unless he opened.
And our team, for the most part, a lot of
former athletes kids are on our team, whether it's NFL
or NBA.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
I ain't gonna name the names they got outside.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
We got eight players, six of the kids pops played
professional sports.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Yeah yeah, speaking of the NBA cuffs, can you please
just explain to myself, off and everybody listening, elaborated and
just get into the current state of the Los Angeles Lakers.
They lost four out of the last five lait to
get to that, still talking about trading a off fifteen
(05:16):
to acquire Jaron Jackson. H Lebron's not playing any defense.
Can you please just explain to us what you are
seeing from your team when they take take the floor,
because it's just not looking good for the Los Angeles
Lakers right now. Please elaborate.
Speaker 6 (05:37):
In the words of David Chappelle, the haters have arrived.
The haters have arrived. Black and the Wards out in LA.
Because I wanted to come on here first off and
say Michael Jordan's scamming us. You know, he gave us
an hour and forty five minutes chopped up interview, he
got eighty million and ran off with the bag. I
wanted to come on here and say that at the gate,
(05:57):
but plax, you brought up the Lakers, and I gotta
be honest, man, I'm not excited watching these Lakers games anymore.
And I just got to say it right now. That
hashtag is tail braun. That's the hashtags. Give you all
quick backstory of the hashtag. So many years people just
(06:18):
always try to send messages through to me, like to
Lebron or whatever. Right, so it became a thing.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Right.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
So now it's at the point where every waking day
I'm bombarded with tail Bron because tail Broun. So I
want to say myself, take it off the media hat
and just being a basketball fan. Plax dj lebar Lebron
James waves the no trade claus. Get out of La,
(06:45):
my brother, get out of La.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
It is over.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
It is over.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
You know what a relationship is over?
Speaker 6 (06:52):
You know all of us been the different relationships in
our lives. It's just over. And it's no hard feelings
I feel like on either side. But it's Luca ball
now and Luca ball. If you don't know what Luca
ball is by now? Where is whining and complaining at
the every play man. You saw the Charlotte Hornet announcer
(07:12):
the other night even say it live on the broadcast,
like guys are just standing around watching Luca and it
looks good on those nights where he's just making everything.
But man, it's at the point now where it's like
the team has no chemistry, man. And JJ Redick is
also getting exposed with his inexperience as a head coach man,
So it's not looking good right now. The Lakers are
(07:35):
starting to look more like a play in is team
right now on the bubble on that fringe. And DeAndre Ayton,
you know, he doesn't have a motor. You know, one
night you might get eighteen and fifteen out of him,
and he looks like lou al Cinder one night, right
jump hook, mid range, everything, junking on people, locking shots,
(07:57):
running the floor. The next night, if he doesn't any
touches in the first quarter, guess what. He doesn't want
to play basketball. And I feel like Broun is at
that stage where he don't really want to be this
super vocal, fiery guy in the locker room.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Bro.
Speaker 6 (08:13):
That should be Luca's role right now, and I don't
think Luca has that personality. He's kind of a shy guy.
If you see him off the court, like he's not
a vocal leader.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
Man.
Speaker 6 (08:22):
So I think this year Broun is trying to just
pass down the tutelage show Luca how to take care
of his body. But as we see with the numbers,
Lebron is looking like a still an elite top ten player,
to be honest, and I just think it's time for
these two teams they met the cross the cross roads
right now?
Speaker 2 (08:39):
It really is Uh, don't you feel like?
Speaker 5 (08:42):
I mean, what's let me ask you, I asked this,
what's the most relevant storyline in the NBA? Does it
still remain Luca and Lebron? Like Lebron has always been
a part of the conversation. Is that still like because
we just, you know, we just went in depth about
the Lakers. I mean, the Lakers aren't even favorite it
to come out of or even be a real.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Player to me in the West?
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Why they so is this like a Dallas deal, like
they're they're significant because of what? Is it because of
Lebron James Or is it because of they're the Lakers?
I mean, I'm just curious. I'm asking for a friend. Yeah,
it's more than the Lakers than than what the way
that they're playing right now. I mean everybody knows that
the Los Angeles Lakers is the biggest brand in basketball,
(09:28):
and we understand that one of the media capitals of
the world. And this is why the stand up for
the Lakers is high and like like, like Kobe said,
we only hang championship balles. But as far as them
being recognized but just flat out playing basketball, Uh, they're
not one of the top teams.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
But we continue to talk about them just because of
the mere fact that Lebron James is still playing.
Speaker 5 (09:54):
Who's the biggest line. Who's the biggest storyline right now today?
Is it John Morant? Who is it the future?
Speaker 6 (10:02):
I think as far as right now, it's Janni's man.
The situation in Milwaukee right now, a lot of it's
a lot of trades right now that are actually being
held up. It's a lot of moves that are being
held up because teams like the like the Miami Heat,
they're sitting back waiting to see what's gonna happen with
(10:22):
Giannis before the February fifth NBA trade deadline. That's the
real thing, that's the real domino. Like a lot of
other little trades around the margins, a lot of teams
have trades right now that are on hold. Even the
John Morant situation in Memphis, Like you if you see
some of the reports of what Memphis is really asking
in return, it's pretty much like the Trey Young situation
(10:46):
with the Hawks and the Wizards, like they don't really
want nothing like Ryan Rawlins the first round pick. We'll
give you Job Morant. So that's showing a lot of
these players around the.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
League, no matter where your talent is, you can be replaced.
Speaker 6 (11:01):
You're not bigger than the program. John Moran, Trey Young.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
So like Yanna's, I just.
Speaker 6 (11:06):
Feel like he gets away with a lot of little
funny stuff in the media because they just think he
had the funny accent. He's the funny dude. But Janni's
wants out of Milwaukee. He just don't want to really,
I guess the embarrass the organization a certain way or
just be disrespectful. But that's the piece I would say
in basketball right now, because the New York Knicks, I
(11:28):
feel like, wouldn't you trade called Anthony Towns and o
Gianna Noby and funk Master, flex Is, Spike Lee and
Tracy Morgan.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
In fact, though Joe the.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Stands cups.
Speaker 6 (11:45):
Who say the kids. We could throw in who else, anybody,
Curtis Blow, we could throw them in, because Joannis in
New York would be real, real spot.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah for the city.
Speaker 6 (12:02):
Look, it could go to I forget about let's forget
about Joel plays. He's looking good in Philly right now too.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Yes he is, Yes, he is got man. He's healthy
in New York. He's playing some really good basketball right now.
Joe onbid but meant but but but Yannis to New
York really doesn't make sense to me. You you trade
o g you get rid of cat. I mean I
would make the trade if I'm Leon Rose and this
organization for Yanni's Uh, He's gonna pack the building every
(12:33):
night at MSG. We know that. But what does that
do to Jalen Brunson. He's a ball dominant player. He
needs that basketball is if he wants to have an
impact on a basketball game. And now you bring in Yannis.
I think that takes away from who and what Jalen
Bruntson is. So it doesn't make sense to me to
(12:55):
bring in a Yiannis, bringing uh two or three pieces
to help elevate Jalen's Brunson games. For somebody ask us
to score the basketball. I don't think Jannis is the
answer because now you only have you have two scores.
You don't have an og Ogji's playing really well right now.
He can make the All Star team this year. Cat
(13:18):
is gonna be Cat. I don't know what the hell
is gonna do every single night.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
We don't know.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
But Jannis, this doesn't make any sense for him come
to the Knicks because I think it takes away from
them offensively and Jalen Brunson, and they need him to
be able to score the basketball and not have somebody
come in and take.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Over the scorer super quick. You got the last word
on the cups.
Speaker 6 (13:40):
How about Ja Moran and Milwaukee with Yannis?
Speaker 3 (13:43):
So how does that fit?
Speaker 4 (13:45):
Now?
Speaker 7 (13:45):
That's a home run? What you think, TJ Man? John
ain't trying to go to Milwaukee. Man, Hey, you gotta
put you gotta put Jah in a culture that going in.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
He knows what it is.
Speaker 7 (13:58):
You go to the Patriots with Belichick, you know what
it is. You go to the Miami Heat with spot
Sean Randy, you know what it is.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
HM.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Well, I don't know, man.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
I think as long as is mister Moran has a
nice warm cup of I'm clear on what this is
all about. Now, let me let me tighten up and
be the best meet the league will benefit from this move.
I Trey Trey Young is a baller and and you know,
(14:28):
I've heard mixed things about him as a person, but
I don't get into all of that.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
I look at him as a baller.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
I think he's overachieved as a player in the league,
and I hope he does have a good run in
Washington with with uh, you know, with the Wizards. So anyway,
we're gonna talk football. Like I said, on the other
side of this break, y'all got y'all's NBA fixed. Now,
y'all gotta set y'allselves to hear about uh these games
going on in in the National Football League. And we're
(14:55):
gonna touch on this college football championship game too. I
know I keep starting to keep teasing, and I mean it,
all right, this is up on game. All right, it's cuffs,
its plex, it's TJ.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
It's myself.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
Take a quick break, and on the other side of
the break, we're gonna talk more football, all right, Fox
Sports Radio, Hey, listen, I know y'all tired of hearing me,
but I'm not tired of talking to you.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
So I'm gonna tell y'all the big game is almost here.
I teased it. We're gonna talk about some football, the
best players.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
They're gonna line up against one another, and we're gonna
get to see how those games play out. They got grit,
they got drive, and a whole lot of heart, just
like the original Louisiana Hot Sauce. That's right, it's made
of real good stuff. Only three simple ingredients peppery pepper's,
vinegary vinegar, and salty salt. They blend together to make
well the type of sauce that is a game changer.
(15:46):
You could use it to dress up your wings, your pizza,
even gumbo. And time seems to slow down.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
You'll see. It's impossible to look at plays being so
easily made. After having some of that Louisiana.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
It is crazy to think that something so good you
can't quite put your finger on it, But boy, when
it hits the tongue, you know, and that's chewing something
that's by you. Beautiful. The original Louisiana Hot Sauce. It
has a championship pedigree for almost one hundred years and
it's got no signs of slowing down. I don't know
(16:21):
that we'll ever see a legacy like this, a Louisiana
legacy so delicious. But I will tell you this, don't
miss out on that original Louisiana Hot sauce now made
a championship level stuff. That pepper, that vinegar and salt.
You're gonna want to get you some. That's Louisiana Hot.
Make sure you buy you some.

Speaker 2 (17:39):

Speaker 8 (17:42):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (17:44):
That's so good? Hi Oo?
Speaker 8 (17:47):
I mean gosh, I mean you're just so paranoid Labara, I.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Know, I know that I hate Saren. Yeah, I love it.
You know, Sorry, Hey, have the truth has come out?
Speaker 9 (17:56):
Find a nickel for every time I heard that?
Speaker 8 (17:58):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 9 (17:59):
You know, it's not like it's not like every week
at this time, I automatically come out and say, cops, brother, Hey.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
Hallo, this is my absolute favorite part of the week.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Man.
Speaker 6 (18:14):
Look, we're some snow to night into Carolina. What TV
shows do I need to be inch with?
Speaker 4 (18:19):
My lady?
Speaker 6 (18:20):
Man?
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Put me on Game?
Speaker 6 (18:21):
I love it.
Speaker 8 (18:22):
Well, it just depends on what your motivations are.
Speaker 9 (18:26):
There's a TV show at eight o'clock Eastern time that
I hear is going to be pretty good. It's called
Seahawks Versus forty nine Ers. But no, well we'll get
to that. But you know, Cups. I don't want to
make the guys jealous, but I got to give you
props because, unlike Michael Jordan with NBC, you actually give
(18:48):
appropriate value to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 7 (18:51):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Oh, I need to rage, I need to range out here.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
We're here.
Speaker 9 (18:58):
I'm just saying you're give value. Let's find out the
values of the head coaching carousel. As we speak, still
no hires, but the Las Vegas Raiders will interview former
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel for their head coaching job.
On Monday, Raiders will have a second interview speaking of Carolina,
with Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator a Jaro Averro. The Atlanta
(19:19):
Falcons having a second interview with former Brown's head coach
Kevin Stefanski for their head coaching job. The Browns interviewing
Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Yudinsky for their head coaching job.
Speaker 8 (19:30):
Udinsky just turned thirty.
Speaker 9 (19:33):
Years old, and if he's hired this cycle, he would
become the youngest head coach in NFL history. Sean McVay
was just almost turning thirty one when he got hired
a decade ago by the Rams Dolphins have a scheduled
second head coaching interview with Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hapley.
Today's action kicks off at four to thirty Eastern time
from Denver, the one seed Broncos against the Buffalo Bills,
(19:55):
who yesterday activated defensive tackle Ed Oliver from injured reserve. Then,
as we said to, at eight pm Easter from the
one seed in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks host the
San Francisco forty nine Ers. Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold questionable
because of an obleaque injury. Back to LeVar Appreijay plex
and the self professed biracial Anthony Bourdain cups what.
Speaker 6 (20:23):
Man, I've been all over the world, the Great Wall
of China. I've been all over the world.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
I lo on global, that's feet. I love it. All right, Well,
we appreciate you allo, have a great rest of your day.
Speaker 5 (20:35):
Fellas he mentioned, these these big time shows called the
NFL Playoffs taking place, let's touch on it.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
We got the Texans and the Patriots.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
The Texans travel to New England, and we got the
Rams versus the Bears. The Rams travel to the Bears.
It's going to be cold in Chicago and it's going
to be cold in Foxburg. Well, y'all think, how y'all
seeing these games play out?
Speaker 6 (21:02):
Man?
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Like, what's it look like to y'all? Well, I'll go,
I go, I go, I go.
Speaker 7 (21:12):
When you when you when you look at Rams and Bears, right,
it's gonna be cold, it's gonna be windy. And the
Rams have this reputation great defense, great uh defensive line.
They're gonna pressure the quarterback like crazy. But then when
(21:32):
you watch the game, it's like, does their reputation really
proceed the way they play? Because I said they were
beating the Panthers pretty easily and then the Panthers came
back and made it a game. The Panthers actually beat
them late in the season. And so I see a
Rams team on defense that's talented, but they can be
scored on because of the back end of that defense.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
The secondary is the weakness.
Speaker 7 (21:58):
Now, can Kayla Williams continue you to just make crazy
play after crazy play when it matters? Can he continue
to bring him back from it looks like defeat and
just make that play and they win the game. I
don't know if he could continue to do that game
(22:18):
after game, especially when the stakes are at his highs
in that weather. I would probably lean towards the Rams
in this situation just because low scoring game because of
the weather. So that's probably how I would see that one.
And then you you look at the Texans and the Patriots. Man,
when I saw that Texans game last week, am I
(22:42):
am I tripping that?
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Who's gonna block them?
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Dudes? Am I tripping?
Speaker 2 (22:45):
LeVar? Because who's gonna block them?
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Dudes?
Speaker 2 (22:47):
I think were gonna block the Texans front? I don't know.
It's so you're gonna have to be able to establish
a run some way, somehow in.
Speaker 7 (22:55):
Order to have a chance to get And just the
thing though, LeVar, they they're good up front, they're good
at the linebacker spot, and they're really good in the secondary. Yes,
from the back to the front to they are loaded secondary. Really,
you got Stingler, you got Bullock, you got last, you
got Petrie. Where the weakness and the secondary? An aggressive
(23:18):
linebacking Cornashi here in toy like, where's the weakness? And
so I'm interested in that Texans game because CJ strous.
You can't fumble the ball as many times you just
the playoffs, yes, some of those are bad snaps. You
have to protect the ball. If they can protect the ball,
they have a chance to pull off an upset. It's
(23:38):
gonna hurt him. Nico Hollins is not playing because of
the concussion he suffered last week.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
That is gonna hurt him.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Yeah, that is you know what, TJ. I agree with
you on this. On the Rams Chicago game, I really
honestly believe that that the Los Angeles Rams are the
better football team. But I'm gonna just throw a stat
out to you that I think, which I've been preaching
for some time now. These indoor football teams, it just
(24:06):
seems like to me when they get outside and they
getting in clement weather, they forget how to play the
game of football. And Matthew Stafford in his last ten
games and in clement whether it's rain or snow, he's
one to nine, sixteen touchdowns and eleven interceptions. And we
(24:28):
spoke about this a few weeks ago with Matthew Stafford.
They went down to Atlanta, he threw three interceptions. He's
just up and down, He's all over the place. I
just don't know what Matthew Stafford I'm going to get
on a weekly week basis, I believe that the Rams
are better football team offensively and defensively. But I'm just
(24:49):
going to say that going to Chicago playing this weather,
it's going to be cold's going to be Chili. I
just think the Rams are just I think they're going
to free He's up something just telling me about that
when they get out there, they are not going to
want to play football the way the Chicago Bears want
to play football are. They're going to get physical with them,
(25:12):
and I believe that the Los Angeles Lamp that the
Rams are going to lay down.
Speaker 7 (25:16):
That's the only reason why I believe that Star was
going to win this game is because of what they're playing.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
If they were playing in Los Angeles, everybody will pick
the Rams to win this game, no doubt about that.
But they're going to Chicago, I don't believe it's going
to happen. Now going to the Texas and the Patriots,
man both teams are will coach Mike Vrabel has been
coaching his tail off man for this year. Drake May
(25:44):
has been a sensation. Nobody expect for him to come
out and go fourteen and three by I believe the
record was and Demiko ryans Man well coached, and you
guys just talking about the defense, how they be. Nobody
can block this front but Drake May. It's like sneaky good.
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Really, yeah, he really sneaky good like that.
Speaker 7 (26:05):
It's crazy because they can they can establish the run game.
They can still go out and put two three tight
ends and established to run the game.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
I believe on anybody in this league. With Trevon Henderson
and then he has his sneakiness about getting out of
the pocket running twenty thirty yards.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Run.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
He can run.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
He can run.
Speaker 6 (26:26):
It's not sneaky at all. Were talking about Tom Brady
with athleticism. That's what Drake made.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
Come on, you going to them fall with you?
Speaker 2 (26:34):
Far? Did he do that again?
Speaker 9 (26:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (26:36):
You far? First it was Jason Tatum, Jason Tatum, when
Jordan and Jordan when Pippin Now, Drake made Tom Brady
to come on, man, God, but go ahead.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Jaylen Brown and Tatum, Jordan.
Speaker 6 (26:54):
Come on, yeah you live down, breakdown ahead, break down
the Patriots game. All I know all year long, go
watch a lot of footballs. Was basketball number fifty three
Elis on the Patriots. They better block that man because
he is putting people. He's putting people in the blue
kits man.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
So we've seen that.
Speaker 6 (27:17):
Texas offensive line. I don't know where they got the
lineman that offer team move or wherever they got this
offensive line from. But I feel bad for Tea they
stroud Man because I feel like they do have enough pieces.
They got what he marks back there running hard like
you saying. You're saying Nico Collins is out.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Though, yeah, yeah, he got Yeah, So it's over there.
Speaker 6 (27:38):
It's over there, see no Nico. If you don't have Nico,
that's that's your piece. That's your Plantae Coe Barrs out there, that's.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Your James Zada, that's your guy.
Speaker 6 (27:46):
You can really go to it.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
I'm like the Higgins kids, him.
Speaker 6 (27:49):
And Noel that they're both rookies out of Iowa State.
But I think the Patriots has got too much, man,
They've got too much. Gonzales. Is he kind of limping too, right,
Christian Gonzales for the past? I think he's kind of
limping a.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Little bit, but he's supposed to play.
Speaker 6 (28:03):
Yeah, just watch fifty three. I'm telling y'all tonight, fifty
three for the past. Kellis he's going to knock somebody out.
But Bears and Rams. I think this is when Caleb
wins becomes he is going to become a legend. In
this playoff run. It reminds me of that Aaron Rodgers
Wild Card run. If he can get past the Rams
and get to that NFC championship game, I think, I.
Speaker 7 (28:24):
Like where you're at with that, though, Cuffs, I like
where you're at me if he wins and gets to
that championship game.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Huge.
Speaker 5 (28:32):
These are the types of moments in playoff history that
do define and and start to open up the conversations
to talk about greatness.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
You know, all of the great ones have to have
that moment.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
I'll never forget that as a defender, you know, Ray
was bubbling up for a long time as as a
dope player in the league.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
This, that, and the other.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
But he had that situation the year before they went
to the super Bowl, and then he goes into the
playoffs and do y'all remember that playoff off run? And
the most memorable one was when they went up against
the Titans and him and Eddie George went head to head.
It's one of the most memorable moments that for me
I'll ever have watching somebody go from being a star
(29:13):
to like a super mega star. I feel like this
is that moment for Caleb Williams. And what I think
even more importantly, I think he knows that this is
that moment. You can't let a moment like this get
by you if you're going to be one of the
greatest in the game and unfortunate for maybe if you're
looking at it from the other side, like if you're like, ah, well,
(29:35):
you know what does that mean for the Rams? That
means that y'all had to take an al for Caleb
Williams to show that his greatness is on full display
from here on out. That's what I'm looking for. That's
what I would love to see play out. Even though
I know Matthew Stafford is Matthew Stafford. He did hit
his thumb off of a helmet last last game too,
(29:57):
by the way, so I don't know how quickly those
types little Dean's heel up for QB, but that'd be
something to look for.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
You know that he did.
Speaker 5 (30:05):
He did hit his hand, and you know, the people
love talking about guys hitting their hands and how that
impacts that they're good or not. But anyway, it'd be
interesting to see how that all plays out. But I'm
I think that the Patriots Texan game is going to
be so it's going to be so well balanced that
it might end up being a boring game. Just just
just a hint to all of y'all out there. I
(30:26):
hate to say it to you, but it could be
all right, fellas, we got a transition, got to pay
off the teas. We got a big game coming up
on Monday night between Indiana and the Hurricanes of Miami.
It's basically it seems like it's going to be a
home game. I mean, it's there, it's it's Miami's home field.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
But I don't know.
Speaker 5 (30:47):
I gotta feeling you might surprise people. You might see
it even in a balance. You might even see more
IU fans in that stadium.
Speaker 4 (30:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
I don't know how that's going to play out, but
it seemed like that could be what it is. What
y'alls feelings going into this game? Man, how y'all feel
about you know, the setup of it all and what's
coming to the table on Monday.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
It's gonna come down to one thing for me.
Speaker 7 (31:10):
We know Miami has led defensively by Ruben Bain Junior
in that defensive front. They want to run the ball,
just like Indiana wants to run the ball. Whoever can
run the ball effectively will win the game. Very simple.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Miami wants to run the ball, Indiana wants to run ball.
Speaker 7 (31:28):
I think that's a great call, TJ. Whoever can run
the ball effectively will win the game. But furthermore, if
both teams can't run the ball, who can put pressure
on a quarterback? Can Indiana block that Miami defensive front
and conversely, can Miami block Indiana's defense front Miami's offensive line.
(31:49):
I believe they have two to three first round draft
picks on that old line in the next couple of years.
And so with explosiveness, and they are big, they are ginormous.
This is both of these teams play the same way.
Both of these is just Signetti, you know, he just
he just he funny to be man, How like do
his win?
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Google me? Like that's why they're so good because they
and they don't care.
Speaker 7 (32:14):
But I'll say this, Indiana kind of looked him like, dude,
who are dude? They got a lot of twenty three
year olds on their team. That's that's the They have
a lot of old heads. They have a lot of
twenty three year olds on that team. You know, some
teams may have three, four, maybe five. They have like
fifteen seventeen guys.
Speaker 5 (32:35):
Smart old heads. They out there playing some grown men,
smart old heads. And so to me, the ain't none
of them stars. Dang there.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
Cos grown.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
He's one of the few.
Speaker 7 (32:47):
He's one of the few Miami guys. One of the few.
It's Carson Back and CJ. Daniels there.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
I believe they're like two of the oldest guys.
Speaker 7 (32:53):
They have a guy in the secondary also, But outside
of that, Miami's are They're like a our version of
college football. You know, everybody nineteen twenty twenty one Max.
You know, Indiana's different. So this game is gonna be
won in the trenches because both of these teams that's
how they're built. Man.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
I just I've been in this situation before, and something
just tells me something about the mindset of the Miami Hurricanes.
Is that saying they're saying that, man, we can't let
Indiana come in here and win on our home turf
to win a national championship. And I think there's more
pressure on Miami than it is Indiana, just because of
(33:35):
the mere fact of.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
Where they're playing at and their Miami and they're in Miami.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
They're playing at a whole stadium. Yeah, And I think
that's the pressure on them to be able to go
out and perform. And Indiana is a seven point favorite,
and I'm thinking that Indiana's thinking to themselves, like, you
know what, man, we're gonna go out here and blow
(34:01):
these boys out. Seven points is not enough for us,
because we believe and we know that we are that
good of a football team. And it's like, just like
TJ just said, I think whoever can run the football,
mind of the way that they dominated Old Miss last
night last weekend the run game. I think everybody saw it,
(34:23):
and uh it's Indiana running game, Kaylon Black shout out
to my boyfriend, Virginia bet Virginia, my hometown. They can
run the football also. But I just think when it
comes down to those guy to have it make it plays.
I just think that Signetty is going to have his
guys in the right position to make those plays. And
(34:44):
I think any other is gonna load the box and say,
you know what, We're not gonna let you run the
football on us. Show us that casting back can make
the throws and zone and man and man coverage. Because
everybody knows that bet can be up and down. There's
gonna be a lot of pressure on him to go
out of the form. But I think when it's all
(35:05):
said and done, from defensively, the way that Indiana is coached,
the discipline, and the way that they played it, the
way that they played the game, I think that's the
edge for them to go out and get it done
against Miami.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Sorry, cuffs, we got to get to the break. Bruh.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
Hey, hey, look, I think it's gonna be a dope game.
Shots out to Malakai Tony Antonio Brown. I played with
him back on the Redskins, y'all. Not y'all may think
of another ad, but that was my guy from West Virginia.
We played together as my dude. Shots out to Malakai.
Wish him luck, Good luck to all the guys are
participating in the game. We're gonna take a quick break.
(35:48):
On the other side of it. We're gonna get to Yeah,
you know what it is, up on game down, on
game I dominate this, dudes.
Speaker 2 (35:54):

Uh okay, speaking of all right, you know TJ plex Cuffs,
they're alright with picks.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
But me, I'm the man, So let's get to this
and yeah, time for some picks. Are you up on game?
Let's break this up le's break it up game all right,
all right, hit them with what we did. I know
I did terrible last week.
Speaker 11 (38:23):
I don't know what happened last week. I have I
have picked from the Bears Packers game here, so we're
gonna go with that. You guys all went one in one.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
Yeah that was I had the Bears and a hundred.
Speaker 4 (38:36):
Yeah, we wanted to pick one game though I had
the Bes.
Speaker 11 (38:40):
I went to The total was forty four and a
half last week, and I believe the total the final
was like what thirty one twenty seven or something like that.
Speaker 8 (38:49):
Oh, so they went over.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
You're right, Yeah, look at TJ trying to bully strong bro.
I I stand up, bo.
Speaker 8 (38:57):
Well, it's fine, it's fine. It's math this week we're
gonna start.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
So it was all one and one last Yeah.
Speaker 8 (39:03):
You guys kissing your sister. Yeah, I'm so far right.
Speaker 11 (39:06):
Let's go Bills and Broncos later today. The first game
up this weekend. The Broncos a one and a half
point favorite here at home.
Speaker 8 (39:13):
The total forty five and a half.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
Uh five and a half. I'm going over and I'm
taking the Buffalo Bills to cover and win.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
Man, I'm gonna take the Oh, go ahead, go dj
I go under.
Speaker 7 (39:30):
I believe it will be a defensive struggle to really
good defensive teams, specifically the Broncos. And like I said earlier,
this bea be it gotta be Josh Alan here, I'm
taking the Bills and the under.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Huh, good cuffs.
Speaker 6 (39:45):
I'm gonna take the under. It's gonna be ugly, Josh Allen,
I believe you Yoki had done this. Ye're just going
out like Marino. So I'm taking the Bills twenty line
on the road, Man gets Don.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
I'm gonna be super sensible here and just say again,
I really don't.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
I believe in these types of games, being a game
changer is not better than being a game manager. They
got a game manager on Denver side. He's young, but
he's ready and he's willing. That defense is clean, and
I think they gonna get these boys all they can handle.
I'm gonna take the under on the points, but I
do believe that Denver will cover, So I'm taking Denver
(40:25):
all right.
Speaker 11 (40:26):
Later this evening, the forty nine Ers take on these
Seahawks and Sam Darnold's sudden oblique injury, Seattle's still a
seven point favorite, so I think Vegas thinks this is
all just foy the over under forty four and a half, forty.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
Man bleak, no bleak. I'm going with the Seattle Seahawks.
They they can run it through it. They won't be
able to buck those guys up front. And I'm also
going under on the points because I don't believe samsus
W will score ten. So I'm going under on the police.
Speaker 7 (40:57):
I will be taken under for sure, and the way
I just can't get that game out of my head
last game in the regular season. I'm gonna take the
Seattle Seahawks as well. I got the Hawks and under
for sure.
Speaker 6 (41:10):
I'm gonna take the under. It's gonna be ugly, but
I believe in Sam Donald as well. He's gonna balance
the gridded too much day and then too much Seahawk.
I'm gonna take the Sea off the home to win.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
I'm taking the I think they're gonna put some points up.
I'm gonna take the points.
Speaker 5 (41:28):
I'm gonna take the over on the points, and I'm
gonna take San Francisco as well.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
With that seven and a.
Speaker 5 (41:33):
Half, I believe you know, Seattle will win but I
don't think that they'll beat them by more than seven,
So I'm gonna take I'm gonna take San fran on
the points.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
All right.
Speaker 11 (41:42):
Last last one here Monday night saw the Marbles. Number
ten seed Miami takes on number one seed Indiana. Indiana
an eight and a half point favorite. The total is
forty seven.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
And a half.
Speaker 4 (41:54):
Well, I'm going over on the points because I believe
Indiana probably gonna score thirty five and they'll win. They'll
them about two touchdowns. Hey, yeah, I'm gonna go over
as well.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
But I'm gonna take the Miami Hurricanes.
Speaker 6 (42:08):
I'm gonna take them over. And I'm gonna take the
Miami Hurricane for one reason only.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
I want to be Michael Urban on that w Oh
my gosh.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
I'm with you there, I'm with you there.
Speaker 5 (42:20):
I think it's gonna be a harder five game than
what people may believe. So I'm gonna take the under
on the points. But I will say this, this team,
this Indiana team is as good as advertised. It has
been a great ride for Miami, and I hope they
played really well. But I gotta go with Indiana on
this one. Man, They're gonna cover so to all of
(42:41):
y'all out there, enjoy all of the football out there, man,
and and be safe all right for us here up
on game Enjoy the day, and stay tuned in, stay
locked in. Jonas Knox is up next, all right up
