Well I usually do, and don't be surprised if I
do it again. I mean, but for right now, this segment,
and this segment alone, it is the Stanley Cup Final.

He is calling the Stanley Cup, of course, tonight, eight
o'clock on ABC. We also have Dominique Foxworth and Mike Olok.
The NFL took over yesterday. We'll have them an hour
number two. But we are just a day away from
the beginning of the NBA Finals. Taylor has been waiting
for this his entire life. I've been waiting for this

since nineteen ninety nine. I guess the Knicks appearing back
in the NBA Finals, and I'm starting to get a
little nervous because Nick fans feel so confident about their
chances of winning this series, Taylor being one of them,
by the way, that I'm trying to convince myself and
I'd be open to anyone convincing me as to why
the Knicks aren't going to win the NBA Finals, because

I don't like how confident in cocky I feel personally.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
As a Knicks fit.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
I mean, yeah, you let enough time pass and all
of a sudden, a huge underdog people can convince themselves
that they could win. No, I think sort of. I
don't know if it's the betting public. I don't know
if it's the just the public in general and their
rooting interest. Because we you know, we talked earlier in
the week about what is this Tuesday we talked yesterday about.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
So we spoke yesterday.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
Yeah, we talked yesterday about how this feeling a little
bit like well Wenby and the Spurs feeling a little
bit like the ninety one Bulls when they played against
the Lakers, where it was just like, I kind of
want to see him finish the deal, but I also
don't want to see what happens after this because he's
gonna win every single one.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
And I think.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
With that thought process, a lot of people are just like,
you know what, I can delay the satisfaction of watching
this alien win a bunch of championships if it means
I get the number one market in the NBA. Sure
to celebrate a championship, and whether or not they celebrate
it with you or they you know, stick it to
you like most fans do, it will be fun to witness.

And so I think that's kind of where we're at
right now. We're got enough people convincing themselves that the Knicks.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Can win, and it's just sort of jarring everybody.
Speaker 5 (02:44):
I got a text from George Sodana and our basketball
oh no and our basketball group text, and he said,
am I taking crazy pills? Because I've got this All
the media is saying the Knicks are going to win?
And I was just like, when would you take crazy pills?
And does it make you feel crazy? It does it
make other people feel crazy? But anyway, is it.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
Feels weird because On one side, you have Knicks fans
feeling very confident, and then there's also the other side
of that where it does feel like there has been
the initial narrative like whoever comes out of the West
is just gonna beat the Knicks. So Knicks fans, I
feel like, are overcompensating for that and coming up with anything.
For me as a Knick fan, it kind of comes
down to can Josh Hart make threes. If he does,

it feels like the Knicks will win the title. The
revelation this playoff has been the Knicks having the best
defensive rating, Like I'm not too sure anybody could have
seen that coming as we were going through the regular season.
If we lose to a rookie guard and a second
year guard, I'll tip my cap to them and just
say they were the better team with the better player.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
It's interesting too, Like Dylan Harper, people are out and
I've already got this opinion of him as well. People
are already making him a star slash superstar right because
the star he is at twenty years old doing these things.

Is pretty special.

Even Stefan Castle is another one that people are just
saying is a great player, and you can't even find
a strong comp for him.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
Like I was trying to think.

I was like, is he Is he a potential like
Dominique Wilkins if he was a more aggressive scorer because
he's so explosive? Is and I just I couldn't really
think of a great one. And it's and because they've
got Wemby who we've never seen before, it's just kind
of hard to figure them out. Like they're obviously great,
but there's really no historical comp for this makeup of
this team.

he's yet to play in a game with them, and

your stay in Carolina or you're stay in Las Vegas.

Uh. You know, I don't get to see much of
either of them. Really. They're both nice hotels, really nice
there in Carolina. Obviously Vegas is Vegas. Yeah. Uh, you know,
going to try to sneak out, as you know, if
I get any free time, I've got to sneak out
and play golf. So we are going to play it.
Old Chatham Wow here in Raleigh, just outside Raleigh, which
is a fantastic place looking forward to.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
I say, ooh, I don't know what that is. It
just sounds really nice Old Chatham.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
No, he texted me that earlier. Yeah, and I have
friend I've never been there. I have friends who have
played it, and they say it's a magical place.
Speaker 7 (10:00):
Hmmm, magical from the minute you get there, and you
know it's great golf course. And that's just one of
those places too where they do everything right, you know,
just the whole. The general manager, John Marino, the pros
everybody there is just fantastic, and a lot of the
Carolina Hurricanes play there. Matter of fact, they've had a
chance to have a few extra rounds because you know,
(10:20):
after they swept the first round, they had a week off,
and then after they swept a second round, they had
eleven days off. So when I talked to John Marino,
I said, you've seen some of the Hurricanes O. They said, yeah,
they were actually under quite a bit because they had
a lot of time to kill. They're waiting to find
out where they were going to be playing in the
next round.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yes, have you mapped out golf in Vegas yet or
are we just doing the weak?
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (10:40):
Yeah, we're still working progress. But yeah, we've got at
least one good option. We have a couple of extra
days there. You know, they moved the series up two days,
but it kind of threw off the cadence there. Used
to be like we're going to have here game one,
a day off, Game two, and then two travel days.

But because they moved the schedule up, now the travel
days aren't necessarily the travel days like we have Game
three in Vegas, then there are two days off in Vegas. Dangerous, yes,
And then again but those two days off are really
good if you want to, you know, grip it and sort.

Yes, if you just go to the Win Hotel. I
have no idea where you're staying. Ask for Fred He's
a friend of mine. He runs all the golf there.
He will put you out on that whenever you want.

In fact, Sean, he is the king of gestures. He's
a great person to tell you something that he's going
to do, but then he doesn't do it and then
just blames Taylor.

Well, I don't know how Taylor. I gave you two
weeks to get it.

I'm still waiting. I was still sat put in Miami
for like three more days waiting, And I got to
tell you, you wouldn't know it was a half mile away.

know I'm a big Panthers fan. And this is I
don't think this is hate watching Sean because I hate
both sides. I don't know what to do when I
can't stand the Carolina Hurricanes, and I also can't stand
Vegas who had that six year drought before they won
a championship and now they're right back at it. How
am I supposed to enjoy this as a Panthers fan?

Well? Please? Do you know I hope not turn in
at all. You know, we need every viewer we can
get out. I got a nice run of record ratings
and we want to keep that going. But yeah, I
think there are a lot of It's first of all,
as you know, I mean, playoff hockey's awesome. I'm not
I don't think there's anything better. I get a lot
of text messages from friends of mine or hockey fans.

Are there anything better than the Stanley Cup playoffs? And
maybe there are things that are as good, but I
don't think there's anything better. So, you know, a lot
of great storylines on both sides, a lot of individuals
to root for. You know, I brought Rod brindanmore I
think is one of the best guys in the NHL,
just one of the best people. And you know, he
finally kind of got through the Eastern Conference final roadblock
(14:15):
that they hadn't been able to get passed. You know,
it would be really cool. I mean, he was the
captain of the last team that played in the Stanley
Cup final, John Tortorella. Most people who know him love him.
He's hard to love if you just kind of see
some of the sound bites and you wouldn't think he
was a particularly nice guy. But he's much loved by
most people within the game. You know, he's gone more
than twenty years since he was in the final.
Speaker 9 (14:37):
So yeah, Sean, I do I do need you to
explain if you can the Golden Knights to us, because
you know, the Panthers, for example, one more games than
they did.
Speaker 5 (14:49):
And now with Torterella you mentioned them being here. Can
somebody make sense of this to me? And by the way,
Stoo's still here, you just can't see him.
Speaker 7 (14:57):
Yeah, what, I don't know. Maybe he's calling my golf
concierge at.

I'm taking as he charger because he stole my and
my computer's dead every time.

And that's another thing. Every time. I minded maybe it's me,
but I promise you certainly no technical problem. Does it work.
I'm at Syracuse in a special studio at the Communications School,
and we can't get that to work. I mean, it's
just like, I don't know, how does this thing get
on the air day after day after day, especially knowing

that Mikey and Taylor is buttoned up as they can possibly.

Be anyway, except when I asked Taylor to get that
broadcast located.

Yes, well, but to answer your question, yeah, if the
if the I was just reading my in my fancy
little research notes, I'm highlighting if the if Vegas had
been in the Eastern Conference, they would not have made
the playoffs. Right with ninety five points uh in the
West they won the Pacific Division.
Speaker 8 (15:58):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (15:59):
I think the answer is they're a really good team.
They their goaltending struggled a lot of the year. They
had injuries to goalies, and then the goalies who were
healthy and playing weren't playing very well. So I think
the biggest reason a while, even though Tortorella has gotten
most of the credit, I think the biggest reason why
they went on this run at the end of the
(16:19):
regular season and have continued it into the playoffs is
Carter Hart. You know, the goalie he's he's towards. Started
him for six to the last eight regular season games.
He won all six. That's why they made him the
number one goalie here to start the playoffs, and he's been,
you know, as good as anybody. I and Freddie Anderson,
who's obviously the goalie for Carolina. Oh there he is.
(16:40):
You get your charger. Yeah, there you go. Ice to see.
But now it's confusing because you've moved in a different
you know, we have these Brady Bunch zoom things and
now you're over there.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Yeah, so you don't need this.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
I mean, just hours before you're calling game one of
the Stanley Cup.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
I mean no, I'm.

Glad though, because he gave me a chance to event
because that booth thing in Miami. And I meant to
mention it when I was on with you the last time.

This is rightfully so I'm so easy going and my
pulse I can't believe. But game day one of the
Stanley Cup Final, I'm I'm literally worried about my physical
and mental health right now, always worried about my mental health,
as we all should be. But anyway, we digress.

I was going to say, I find it hard to
believe because Caroline has been so overwhelming the entire season
and the postseason, and I keep doubting Vegas, but Vegas
keeps moving.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
On in the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
But I just have a hard time seeing Carolina lose
in the Stanley Cup Final.
Speaker 7 (18:36):
What do you think the only team that was more
overwhelmingly dominant in the regular season was Colorado.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah, and they.
Speaker 7 (18:43):
Started out thirty one, two and seven, which is ridiculous.
You know, they won the President's Trophy comfortably. They went
eight and one in the first two rounds of the playoffs,
beat Minnesota in five. A lot of people thought that, well,
that's going to be an epic series, that Minnesota is
really good, and they really were good, you know, they
were dominant, and everybody said, well, who's going to beat them?
And then Vegas swept them right out of the playoffs.
(19:04):
So I think these are two really evenly matched teams.
They play a very similar style. I mean, they're attacking
and relentless, and you know, they play four lines. Their
scoring is spread out. They're getting good goaltending, which you
know for Carolina that hasn't always been the case in
the playoffs in the past. But Freddy's been terrific and
(19:25):
caught a hot as we say in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
has also been It's very hard for me to say
his name sometimes I shorten it. In one series, one
game earlier in the playoffs, I called them KRT, which
I know, but once and I was actually joke. I
was playing golf rare trip on the golf course in
Vegas with Dave Gosher, who is the great play by

play guy for the Vegas Goal and nice and I
was joking about I called him Kart and then he
said he called when they had Jonathan Marshasso and Barbashev.
One time he called somebody marsh and how and Hannafinn
became how To Finn. So now the next game, every
(20:09):
time Howden had the puck, because we joked so much
about it, I had to not call him how to know.
I wish I hadn't had that conversation with Dave because
now it's in my head. So so now tonight we're
gonna have how A fey of I think I'm trying
to work on things like how I can shorten it.

Sean, I was reading an article that you were calling
college basketball games. You got to know Tom Crean. Tom Crean,
who was the brother in law of John and Jim Harbaugh,
asked you to play in their celebrity golf tournament. You
became friends with John Harbaugh. So through your friendship with
John Harbaugh, what is something that people don't know about
coach Wow?
Speaker 7 (20:47):
Coach Harbaugh coach. Yeah, that might be the greatest segue
in the history of communications.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yes, yes, yes, I love that.
Speaker 7 (20:56):
That's awesome. What what don't people know about John Harbaugh?
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Now, he's got to go through the rolodecks and really
think about it, because there's a reason thinking people don't
know whatever it is.
Speaker 7 (21:08):
I mean, I think the things that I appreciate about
people know. I mean he's, you know, obviously a great coach,
a great person, great family guy, tremendous family guy, person
of tremendous religious faith. Crappy golfer, I mean crappy. His
wife's better than he is really on a relative scale.
(21:29):
Ingrid the but he doesn't play much and he doesn't
even like it. You know, when we when they come
out to Arizona, we play because Ingrid likes to play
and John just kind of goes along for the ride.
Great dad. You know, their daughter, Alison played college lacrosse
and she's in law school. Now he's super proud of her.
I don't know what else they're you know, yeah, the

stuff with the other stuff I probably shouldn't say, you
know what that.

Is actually good information because if I'm going to like
John Harbaugh, if he's just a bad golfer who.

Goes along for the ride. That's my people like, so hey, yeah,
to take it easy.

He's great. He's just he's as fine a person as

and don't even think about it. And then I'm watching
a game on TV as a fan, I'm screaming at
the refs, are yelling at the coach why did you
do that? Or why aren't you doing this? So Mike

is the ultimate pro. You know, there's no greater pro
in our business. I don't think there's anybody better at
play by play in any sport than Mike. You know,
he's right there on the mount rushmore for me of
the people who do it right now, and he will
do a professional job. And I'm sure he wants the
Knicks to win.

Would be and anybody who thinks, you know, like then
the San Antonio will be. People should allow him that too, yes,
but they won't know it when they watch, because I guarantee,

You try to act more excited when the other team
scores or whatever, say nice things about them or claim
they got you know, a bad call, and maybe they didn't.

I've always listening in the Conference finals and it's just like, man,

about one team, like I will know a lot more
about Vegas going into this tonight, I would know more

So I will catch up more and more and more

little nervous because Nick fans feel so confident about their
chances of winning this series, Taylor being one of them,
by the way, that I'm trying to convince myself and
I'd be open to anyone convincing me as to why
the Knicks aren't going to win the NBA Finals, because

I don't like how confident in cocky I feel personally.

As a Knicks fit.

I mean, yeah, you let enough time pass and all
of a sudden, a huge underdog people can convince themselves
that they could win. No, I think sort of. I
don't know if it's the betting public. I don't know
if it's the just the public in general and their
rooting interest. Because we you know, we talked earlier in
the week about what is this Tuesday we talked yesterday about.

So we spoke yesterday.

Yeah, we talked yesterday about how this feeling a little
bit like well Wenby and the Spurs feeling a little
bit like the ninety one Bulls when they played against
the Lakers, where it was just like, I kind of
want to see him finish the deal, but I also
don't want to see what happens after this because he's
gonna win every single one.

And I think.

With that thought process, a lot of people are just like,
you know what, I can delay the satisfaction of watching
this alien win a bunch of championships if it means
I get the number one market in the NBA. Sure
to celebrate a championship, and whether or not they celebrate
it with you or they you know, stick it to
you like most fans do, it will be fun to witness.

And so I think that's kind of where we're at
right now. We're got enough people convincing themselves that the Knicks.

Can win, and it's just sort of jarring everybody.

I got a text from George Sodana and our basketball
oh no and our basketball group text, and he said,
am I taking crazy pills? Because I've got this All
the media is saying the Knicks are going to win?
And I was just like, when would you take crazy pills?
And does it make you feel crazy? It does it
make other people feel crazy? But anyway, is it.

Feels weird because On one side, you have Knicks fans
feeling very confident, and then there's also the other side
of that where it does feel like there has been
the initial narrative like whoever comes out of the West
is just gonna beat the Knicks. So Knicks fans, I
feel like, are overcompensating for that and coming up with anything.
For me as a Knick fan, it kind of comes
down to can Josh Hart make threes. If he does,

it feels like the Knicks will win the title. The
revelation this playoff has been the Knicks having the best
defensive rating, Like I'm not too sure anybody could have
seen that coming as we were going through the regular season.
If we lose to a rookie guard and a second
year guard, I'll tip my cap to them and just
say they were the better team with the better player.

It's interesting too, Like Dylan Harper, people are out and
I've already got this opinion of him as well. People
are already making him a star slash superstar right because
the star he is at twenty years old doing these things.

Is pretty special.

Even Stefan Castle is another one that people are just
saying is a great player, and you can't even find
a strong comp for him.

Like I was trying to think.

Dominique Wilkins if he was a more aggressive scorer because
he's so explosive? Is and I just I couldn't really
think of a great one. And it's and because they've

but there's really no historical comp for this makeup of
this team.

Uh. You know, I don't get to see much of
either of them. Really. They're both nice hotels, really nice
there in Carolina. Obviously Vegas is Vegas. Yeah. Uh, you know,
going to try to sneak out, as you know, if
I get any free time, I've got to sneak out
and play golf. So we are going to play it.
Old Chatham Wow here in Raleigh, just outside Raleigh, which
is a fantastic place looking forward to.

I say, ooh, I don't know what that is. It
just sounds really nice Old Chatham.

No, he texted me that earlier. Yeah, and I have
friend I've never been there. I have friends who have
played it, and they say it's a magical place.

Hmmm, magical from the minute you get there, and you
know it's great golf course. And that's just one of
those places too where they do everything right, you know,
just the whole. The general manager, John Marino, the pros
everybody there is just fantastic, and a lot of the
Carolina Hurricanes play there. Matter of fact, they've had a
chance to have a few extra rounds because you know,

after they swept the first round, they had a week off,
and then after they swept a second round, they had
eleven days off. So when I talked to John Marino,
I said, you've seen some of the Hurricanes O. They said, yeah,
they were actually under quite a bit because they had
a lot of time to kill. They're waiting to find
out where they were going to be playing in the
next round.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yes, have you mapped out golf in Vegas yet or
are we just doing the weak?
Speaker 2 (10:40):

Yeah, we're still working progress. But yeah, we've got at
least one good option. We have a couple of extra
days there. You know, they moved the series up two days,
but it kind of threw off the cadence there. Used
to be like we're going to have here game one,
a day off, Game two, and then two travel days.

But because they moved the schedule up, now the travel
days aren't necessarily the travel days like we have Game
three in Vegas, then there are two days off in Vegas. Dangerous, yes,
And then again but those two days off are really
good if you want to, you know, grip it and sort.

can't stand the Carolina Hurricanes, and I also can't stand
Vegas who had that six year drought before they won
a championship and now they're right back at it. How
am I supposed to enjoy this as a Panthers fan?

Well? Please? Do you know I hope not turn in
at all. You know, we need every viewer we can
get out. I got a nice run of record ratings
and we want to keep that going. But yeah, I
think there are a lot of It's first of all,
as you know, I mean, playoff hockey's awesome. I'm not
I don't think there's anything better. I get a lot
of text messages from friends of mine or hockey fans.

Are there anything better than the Stanley Cup playoffs? And
maybe there are things that are as good, but I
don't think there's anything better. So, you know, a lot
of great storylines on both sides, a lot of individuals
to root for. You know, I brought Rod brindanmore I
think is one of the best guys in the NHL,
just one of the best people. And you know, he
finally kind of got through the Eastern Conference final roadblock

that they hadn't been able to get passed. You know,
it would be really cool. I mean, he was the
captain of the last team that played in the Stanley
Cup final, John Tortorella. Most people who know him love him.
He's hard to love if you just kind of see
some of the sound bites and you wouldn't think he
was a particularly nice guy. But he's much loved by
most people within the game. You know, he's gone more
than twenty years since he was in the final.
Speaker 9 (14:37):
So yeah, Sean, I do I do need you to
explain if you can the Golden Knights to us, because
you know, the Panthers, for example, one more games than
they did.

And now with Torterella you mentioned them being here. Can
somebody make sense of this to me? And by the way,

Yeah, what, I don't know. Maybe he's calling my golf

just like, I don't know, how does this thing get

that Mikey and Taylor is buttoned up as they can possibly.

Yes, well, but to answer your question, yeah, if the
if the I was just reading my in my fancy
little research notes, I'm highlighting if the if Vegas had
been in the Eastern Conference, they would not have made
the playoffs. Right with ninety five points uh in the
West they won the Pacific Division.

I think the answer is they're a really good team.
They their goaltending struggled a lot of the year. They
had injuries to goalies, and then the goalies who were
healthy and playing weren't playing very well. So I think
the biggest reason a while, even though Tortorella has gotten
most of the credit, I think the biggest reason why
they went on this run at the end of the
(16:19):
regular season and have continued it into the playoffs is
Carter Hart. You know, the goalie he's he's towards. Started
him for six to the last eight regular season games.
He won all six. That's why they made him the
number one goalie here to start the playoffs, and he's been,
you know, as good as anybody. I and Freddie Anderson,
who's obviously the goalie for Carolina. Oh there he is.

But now it's confusing because you've moved in a different
you know, we have these Brady Bunch zoom things and

I was going to say, I find it hard to
believe because Caroline has been so overwhelming the entire season
and the postseason, and I keep doubting Vegas, but Vegas
keeps moving.

On in the playoffs.

But I just have a hard time seeing Carolina lose
in the Stanley Cup Final.
Speaker 7 (18:36):
What do you think the only team that was more
overwhelmingly dominant in the regular season was Colorado.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah, and they.
Speaker 7 (18:43):
Started out thirty one, two and seven, which is ridiculous.
You know, they won the President's Trophy comfortably. They went
eight and one in the first two rounds of the playoffs,
beat Minnesota in five. A lot of people thought that, well,
that's going to be an epic series, that Minnesota is
really good, and they really were good, you know, they
were dominant, and everybody said, well, who's going to beat them?
And then Vegas swept them right out of the playoffs.
(19:04):
So I think these are two really evenly matched teams.
They play a very similar style. I mean, they're attacking
and relentless, and you know, they play four lines. Their
scoring is spread out. They're getting good goaltending, which you
know for Carolina that hasn't always been the case in
the playoffs in the past. But Freddy's been terrific and

caught a hot as we say in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
has also been It's very hard for me to say
his name sometimes I shorten it. In one series, one
game earlier in the playoffs, I called them KRT, which
I know, but once and I was actually joke. I
was playing golf rare trip on the golf course in
Vegas with Dave Gosher, who is the great play by

play guy for the Vegas Goal and nice and I
was joking about I called him Kart and then he
said he called when they had Jonathan Marshasso and Barbashev.
One time he called somebody marsh and how and Hannafinn
became how To Finn. So now the next game, every

time Howden had the puck, because we joked so much
about it, I had to not call him how to know.
I wish I hadn't had that conversation with Dave because
now it's in my head. So so now tonight we're
gonna have how A fey of I think I'm trying
to work on things like how I can shorten it.

Sean, I was reading an article that you were calling
college basketball games. You got to know Tom Crean. Tom Crean,
who was the brother in law of John and Jim Harbaugh,
asked you to play in their celebrity golf tournament. You
became friends with John Harbaugh. So through your friendship with
John Harbaugh, what is something that people don't know about
coach Wow?

Coach Harbaugh coach. Yeah, that might be the greatest segue
in the history of communications.

Yes, yes, yes, I love that.

That's awesome. What what don't people know about John Harbaugh?

Now, he's got to go through the rolodecks and really
think about it, because there's a reason thinking people don't

I mean, I think the things that I appreciate about
people know. I mean he's, you know, obviously a great coach,
a great person, great family guy, tremendous family guy, person
of tremendous religious faith. Crappy golfer, I mean crappy. His
wife's better than he is really on a relative scale.

Ingrid the but he doesn't play much and he doesn't
even like it. You know, when we when they come
out to Arizona, we play because Ingrid likes to play
and John just kind of goes along for the ride.
Great dad. You know, their daughter, Alison played college lacrosse
and she's in law school. Now he's super proud of her.

ball like this. So we get on the seventeenth hole,
which is as a dog leg left. It's perfect for me.

It's all right, sling blade. You know this is a
great old for you sling one around the corner. So
of course I hit a high block into the luxury
into the suites, and I got up there to say,
you know, like, oh my god. Ball went into the
private box and there was an older woman and she
had an oxygen and I'm like, oh my god, they

got here fast. It turns out she was already on
oxygen before I issue for other health issues. But I,
you know, and I don't get recognized that often. Of course,
I get over there and I walk on. I'm so sorry.
She said, oh it's you. I used to like you.
I was like fans I have. Yeah, I'm a little

worried about hitting people with golf balls, but I do
feel some relief that they promised not to show bad shots.

that they take the local broadcast away because he knows
fans love the local broadcast. And I'm wondering, your buddy,
Mike Breen has been a Nick fan his entire life,
and now he is calling an NBA Finals nationally with

the Knicks in the San Antonio Spurs. And I would
like Mike to be a little bit of a homer
and I think that he will be because I know
he wants the Knicks to win so badly.

I'm sure he wants the Knicks to win. It would
be insane thing he doesn't, and it would, you know.
And I don't think we should ask that of him,
but I do. And he and I just talked about
this the other day. We talked on the phone three
or four days ago, and uh, and I asked him that,
you know, how excited are about the next And you
know he is excited about the next. But you know,

and I've had this in my own experience, you're so
caught up in calling the game, like the fan part
of you just goes out the window. You know, I'll
be doing, you know, games for teams I care about
and don't even think about it. And then I'm watching
a game on TV as a fan, I'm screaming at
the refs, are yelling at the coach why did you
do that? Or why aren't you doing this? So Mike

is the ultimate pro. You know, there's no greater pro
in our business. I don't think there's anybody better at
play by play in any sport than Mike. You know,
he's right there on the mount rushmore for me of
the people who do it right now, and he will
do a professional job. And I'm sure he wants the
Knicks to win.

The way Mike will show up me, it.

Would be and anybody who thinks, you know, like then
the San Antonio will be. People should allow him that too, yes,
but they won't know it when they watch, because I guarantee,
if anything, in my experience, you learned the lean too
hard the other way to prove that you're not biased.
You try to act more excited when the other team
scores or whatever, say nice things about them or claim
they got you know, a bad call, and maybe they didn't.

You know. So he's a pro.

closed until further notice due to a damage motor component
that requires replacement. We're actively working with a pool vendor

this may cause, and sincerely apologize. Thank you for your

understanding and patients as we resolve this issue. First off,
they thanked me for my understanding, but I'm not that

My rent was still due on the first in full.

pool company that can actually fix this for you, called

Secondarily, you have contracts in place, though you know what
those are month to month.

But I would check your lease. I would have I
would take a look at it and see if they're
promising you like pool time, because if that's part of
the then you should get a pro rated discount, that's
for sure.

So if part of your rent is going towards the maintenance.

Of the pool, I is he is right, you should
subtract that portion of your rent and not give it
to him this month.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
I mean, that's what I would do.

And by the way, the pool not working, it's it's
one thing, but the pool not working in June and July,
it's going harder. We get it after Memorial But God,
I mean it's one hundred and twenty five degrees out.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
What a terrible time.

But yeah, you should look into more, you know, just
some way to get some money back.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
You should also find a way into.

Like other pools of nearby apartments and like bring back
complaints or comparisons, just like not if we're gonna pay
for this, you're gonna have to get this and this
and this from these other companies.

I thought you were saying he should pool hop just
go pull the pool and jump in their pool. Why
not you can? Yes, I've done.

Listen, they get thirty six hours to fix it.

I know I got free advertisement there for blue pools,
But if you give me the current pool company that
they're using, we can trash them on the other side
of it and help Anthony even more.

the pool company and your apartment complex.

And we also had a problem earlier where one of
the elevators was down for if they said appreciate your patience.
One of the elevators was down for months, so I'm
not too sure how quickly this pool situation is going
to be resolving.

That they don't care.

About you, Oh there wasn't somebody in that elevator.

They only care about your rent checks, which I already paid. Well,

I mean, because have you seen people working around the
pool at all?

No, but I'm thinking I should go and chain myself
