the Giants. Is Odell Beckham Junior on the Giants something
or nothing? Because it seems like he's on the bubble

doesn't match that production for being a true number one
receiver on the outside. For this Ravens team to reach
their potential this year, for Lamar Jackson to get over

a Super Bowl, it feels like they need somebody else
to step up at the wide receiver position, and it
might be somebody like Jacoby Lane.

Yeah, So I was listening to the Unbuttoned podcast with
Chris Simms, and I figured we'd save it for Jess
because Jess is such a huge dog person. Sims was
mad that he keeps ordering Uber Eats or delivery to
his house and the delivery driver that he keeps getting
will not get out of the car because Sims has

his dog running free roam around his house and Simsy
sim Sims wants it delivered to him, fed to him
all of that. Sims's question was is it part of
the job as a delivery driver to be comfortable around dogs.
He was arguing that when you when you sign up
for it, that's something that you sign up for that

The most insane things that I've ever heard of. Absolutely
not your dog.

That's the problem with dog ownership. You may trust your

But the second your dog encounter someone else's lesser trained dog,
all bets are off. Like you can never trust other
people's abilities to train their dogs.

And I remember I had the same thing when I parked.

The dog immediately runs up to your car and will
be barking, And when I'm opening the door, I'm like, man,
this would be a terrible way to go into this
party to tell Sims that I had to kick his dog.

Wait, so this is a small dog. This is like
a ten pound or smaller dog.

I would say it's around twenty pounds.

you've got a dog outside my door. I'm not getting out.
You have to come. And then Sims has to make
the trek down from his six story mansion.

edition at OC working with Bryce Underwood, who was a
true freshman last year, and I just think needs more
support and needs to like just kind of improve in
his finesse, and also like the way that the offense
is called. I think could probably support him a little
bit more so. I like the transfers they brought in

their schedules. Okay, it's not the hardest schedule. It's not
the easiest schedule. They have the you know, Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana,
and Oklahoma games, which are gonna be tough. But if
you if you maybe have an upset in one of
those games and then win the games that you're supposed
to win, beat the Iowas of the world, in the
Penn States of the world, like I think that's a
good season for Michigan this year.

driver here, and I'm a dog person. I love dogs,
but when they've born, when they are off leash and
you don't know the dog's temperament and they come running
up to you, there's a little brace a little bit
for because you don't know if that dog's gonna come
up and give you a little kiss, a little lick
on the on the knee or something, or if it's

gonna you know, bite you in the plums. You don't know,
So you know I came up. Yeah, So like, I'm
on team delivery driver here. If your dog's inside, that's fine,
but this guy, I think, well, by the way, what
kind of dog was it that? Did we ever find
out what kind of dog Chris Sims has?

I'm not an expert on dog breeds. Would I would
guess Sam that the dog weighed about twenty twenty five
ish pounds.

a like a small medium dog, I'm not too worried
that dog's gonna bite me on the ankle and I'll
probably survive it, or might probably won't bite me at all.

bigger dogs. I came up with the list here of
dogs I would stay in the car for if you'd
like to.

between a dog breed's popularity and how many people actually

some a little bit more continuity on that side gives

I have a lot of questions about the offense in general.
I do think the defense is still going to be really,
really good, and I think their secondary will probably be
really good, so it'll be tough for other teams to

score on them, and I think that definitely helps. But
I just I need to see them fix this offense
before I'm like, yeah, this is a really underrated Alabama team.

I think the defensive coordinator who came from BYU is
a good defensive coordinator. And I like the Jason Beck

edition at OC working with Bryce Underwood, who was a
true freshman last year, and I just think needs more
support and needs to like just kind of improve in
his finesse, and also like the way that the offense
is called. I think could probably support him a little
bit more so. I like the transfers they brought in

their schedules. Okay, it's not the hardest schedule. It's not
the easiest schedule. They have the you know, Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana,
and Oklahoma games, which are gonna be tough. But if
you if you maybe have an upset in one of
those games and then win the games that you're supposed
to win, beat the Iowas of the world, in the
Penn States of the world, like I think that's a
good season for Michigan this year.

Chris Simms delivery guys story. The delivery guy who brings
food to Chris Simms's house won't get out of the
car and bring food to his front door because Sims
always has the dog running around the yard.

Sam has not stopped texting us about what's going on
in that situation. And I am I'm puzzled, but I'm
also thrilled that we have our and found his wheelhouse.

Yeah, We've done a lot of really good content on
the show, or mediocre content however.

dog and Sims' dog running around the house.

the story. Taylor told that he was listening to Simms' podcast,
Chris Simms when he gets food delivered to his house
the delivery guy, it was a dog running around his
front yard, and.

So it's a loose dog, a stray dog. It's his dog.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
But the delivery guy will knock get out of his
car and bring the food to his front door. Into
simple question, should he should she? Should she like? Is
it part of the job? Is it part of the
job the unknown part of the job. Or is the
obligation on Chris Simms to come out to the car
and get his own food that he wanted delivered right

to his front door.

That is the question.

So I phrased that on social media too. Is a
part of the job as a delivery driver to be
comfortable around dogs. People are weighing in and people will
probably call in. We have a couple people who drive
for FedEx or ups. Ted Green on Twitter says, I
drive for FedEx. If your dog is out and he's
a bleep, you're not getting a package today, and then

don't have to be We're told if we're uncomfortable around
a dog, we don't have to get out of the truck.

So yeah, this conversation got me very riled up. I
was texting you guys about it. I'm on team delivery
driver here, and I'm a dog person. I love dogs,
but when they've born, when they are off leash and
you don't know the dog's temperament and they come running
up to you, there's a little brace a little bit
for because you don't know if that dog's gonna come
up and give you a little kiss, a little lick
on the on the knee or something, or if it's
(35:05):
gonna you know, bite you in the plums. You don't know,
So you know I came up. Yeah, So like, I'm
on team delivery driver here. If your dog's inside, that's fine,
but this guy, I think, well, by the way, what
kind of dog was it that? Did we ever find
out what kind of dog Chris Sims has?
Speaker 2 (35:21):
That's certain so.

I'm not an expert on dog breeds. Would I would
guess Sam that the dog weighed about twenty twenty five
ish pounds.
Speaker 9 (35:29):
Yeah, see, if it's a Corgie or a Chihuahua or
a like a small medium dog, I'm not too worried
that dog's gonna bite me on the ankle and I'll
probably survive it, or might probably won't bite me at all.
But I'm sure Chris Sims has a nice dog, but
bigger dogs. I came up with the list here of
dogs I would stay in the car for if you'd
like to.

Hear so the top you have top five dogs that
would keep you in the costs that what you're saying.

I totally agree with that, but I am judging you
based on what kind of dog.

I mean, a dog is a man's best friend.

I feel like even the bigger dogs, you know, the
dogs you're fearful of, you could turn them pretty quickly.

It feels like it's an enemy, but very quickly he
could be your best friend.

That's what dogs do. You know.

Sure, some of these bigger breeds could run up to
you and be the sweetest dog you've ever met, but
you don't know. And they're so big they could just
rip you to pieces if they're off.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
Most dogs are very very sweet once you get to
know them. I'm telling you that it easily turned.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
I mean there are some dogs too that if you
got out of the car, you'd be looking at them
eye level.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Yeah, I'm not certain what the German shepherds, the big
ones you're saying.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Most of them.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
I mean, all right, let's get to Iowa Sam's top
five dogs that he would keep him in the car
if he was delivering food to someone's house.

Go ahead, I was sim all right.

I got two on the oli list here. I got
the boxer and I got any breed of mastiff.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Yes, I'm looking up to a boxer.

Yeah, boxers are very athletic dogs, very muscular. They're a
little smaller than some of the other dogs on this list,
but they are very intimidating looking. And a mastiff you
just you know, emphasis on the word mass. They're massive mastiff.
So that's gonna freak me out. All right, here we go.

Particular of course, it's no, there is there is. Okay, five, four,
three two one, that's what it's up.

Okay, we'll go all right, We'll start with the number

Number three Doberman pincher, your classic junkyard dog. Number two
a Rottweiler, and number one the infamous but usually sweet

I am so torn on this on what the delivery
guy is supposed to do, I really am, because it's
your job to get the food to the front door.
I understand that Chris Simms is being a bleephole by
letting his dog run loose, but it is your job
to get the food to that person's front door.

So this conversation also got me thinking the biggest disparity
between a dog breed's popularity and how many people actually
own one. The Dalmatian. I used to have one, sneaky
aggressive dog breed.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Aren't they really put it on the parol they're actually
is a Dalmatian, a sneaky aggressive dog breed.
Speaker 5 (38:37):
Fireman's dog. They got to save people, you know, Dalmatian's
really really peaked around one hundred and one Dalmatians. Yeah,
and then they've been trailing off ever since.
