Speaker 3 (00:20):
Let's give this you're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
I can answer your questions, Stu. Yes, I thought the
show was over. Last segment.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Okay, good because I was wondering what happened to Izzy
where I took I gave out the phone number now
and as he said, for the next show. And we
are so tired, we are exhausted. It is day four,
Super Bowl week Radio row here at San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
That is he thought our show was over.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
I was entranced by the snake that Robert Erwin was
carrying around. I was like, you know what, Once I've
interviewed a man carrying around a python, I think I'm
good for the day.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
That should be a wrap.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
You're right, yes, Yes, eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
I am telling you the rare open hour that we
have this week. It's right now. I said no to
Bo Jackson again. How about that no Jackson no Bo
eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Whatever you want
to call it about, I don't even care at this point,
just call it okay. I want to hear from the
listeners out there.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Do you want to hear?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Sorry, ahead, I was going to tell you, I'm starting
to get tired of Jannis. I mean, Zact just growing old.
It's stale. I mean, Jesus Christ. The quote that.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
We heard from Isaac during the update there that Jannis posted,
legends don't chase, they attract amazing. First of all, that's
not going to be one of those quotes at last,
forever in time like that's nobody's sitting there like, Wow,
he's really got a good one there. Really, what he
should have written was legends don't control the trademarket because.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
They don't like Well, you just don't win one championship.
How about that?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Well, Luil Sinder only won one championship for the Milwaukee
bu what but Korean Kareem went out to win more
with the Lakers. But he's done as much for Milwaukee
as Luel sindor slash Kareem Abdul Jabbar did therefore he
should be free to leave, but he doesn't want to.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
But why is he I understand why. It's like, does
he think we're dumb? Does he think his fan base
is dumb? He is clearly trying to get out of Milwaukee.
And by the way, Milwaukee, they brought people in, dam Lillard,
other people.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
They have brought people in.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
And he hasn't been Miles Turner, and he hasn't been
able to convert those combinations kind of into championship seasons.
He's only won the one, and he needs to do
it without Chris Middleton.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
I mean he did when he did win with Chris Middleton.
You're right, people were saying crazy things like Chris Middleton
is your closer, not Yannis, which is insane. I mean,
Chris Middleton is a talented offensive player. He could be
a closer for any team, but he's not Yannis. The
thing with that is he's just torn. I mean, you
can imagine. I don't think he thinks his fans are dumb.
I think he thinks his fans understand the business, and

(02:53):
that if he were to find another scenario where it
was basically, hey, championship immediately that I can you know,
turn this team around and find myself in the finals again,
then yeah, I'm gonna do it, because right now Milwaukee
doesn't seem to have the prospects of doing the same.
But in his heart of hearts, if he's going to
make anybody happy, he wants it to be Milwaukee fans.

(03:15):
You know, he's talked about it. I think his father
being buried in Milwaukee and and things like that. Like,
he's clearly tied to the city. You know, he's spent
more time or in Milwaukee than he has maybe in
his own country, and so it does make sense that
he's tied to those fans and that it's a genuine
feeling for him. But he's also a business man, and
so you have to sort of tow the line there,

(03:35):
I know.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
But when I say that, it's you're giving off that
you want to stay in Milwaukee, and champions don't chase. Okay,
but everyone knows you're trying to get out of Milwaukee.
You're doing it through your agent, and everyone knows that, right, all.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Right, And that's where you know, even if and so
some people say you should try to make a mess
out of it, right and just be louder and be more.
I don't know if that necessarily works either these days,
because you're it's so tricky in terms of what teams
can acquire the player, tricky in terms of what you
want back. You're not just trying to take a few
players like back in the day and say, hey, did
we do good. No, if you're getting rid of Yannis,

(04:08):
a player of that level, you're doing a full rebuild
and you're sort of going Oklahoma City thunder model and say, hey,
we can do this pretty quickly if we make the
right trade. So the right trade is so much more
important now that Yannis couldn't probably be louder, didn't couldn't
probably be more obnoxious about it publicly, And I think

(04:28):
he knew if he did and it didn't get done,
then it would just be.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Lose lose for him.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
So I need to see the Ira Wnderman what the
Heat's final package offer was.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
Just because those always hit, because.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
It's always Miami's gonna get this guy in Miami's gonna
get this guy, and then it comes up like Yaka
Jonas was the deel breaker.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Yaka Jonas, nineteen year old kaspers Zaka Jonas Ira Wnderman.
For those who don't know that, Ashley. He's a Miami
Heat beat writer.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah, probably want to tell the audience.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
He's been doing that since since the Miami Heats first season.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Yeah yeah, and I got promoted from kidding and.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
So yeah, No, I think the Miami Heats final package
this is when I knew it wasn't gonna happen Taylor
for the Miami Heat. I saw the details reported by
Barry Jax in another South Florida be writer and it said,
you know Kalel where Tyler Hero It said the first
it said the picks, and then it said maybe a
couple young players.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
And it's just like, wait a second. A final package
could have no maybe exactly.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
It has to have very specific names, and it didn't
matter to me.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
You couldn't put any two of.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
The Heat's young players in that list that don't include Bam,
and it wouldn't have been that much better.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
The big names were already there.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
So when they were saying, oh, maybe a couple more
young players, I'm like, that's not going to be enough
of a sweetener, Like Haimi Hakez or Nikola Yovich is
not going to be enough of a sweetener to turn
the Tyler, hero khalel Ware and thirty and thirty two
draft picks into this dream package.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
So you kind of knew it wasn't gonna happen. A
final package needs to be special, doesn't it. I mean
it's a week final package.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
No, it's gonna come out that like pel Larson was
the deal breaker.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
And I take no joy of this as a Knicks fan.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
As you do.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Pat Riley washed, Wow, lost a little on the fastball.
Huh yeah, not only did he lose the fastball. That
fastball is in the dugout right now, and you gotta well,
first of all, get that baseball. He switched over to
a knuckleball years ago. Okay, years ago, he switched over
to a knuckleball. He's not really a fastball pitcher anymore.

(06:36):
But this isn't about him.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
This is about like, again, Milwaukee wants this, your team
doesn't have that, but I'm going to try and swing
away anyway. So it's almost like just somebody trying too hard,
you know, doing something, reaching out for something that they
maybe already know they don't have the trade value or

(06:58):
the trade package to get that player. And yet according
to all reports, and it made the most sense it
was down to Minnesota and Miami, and then Minnesota basically
dropped off and it was just Miami.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
And so if the reporting is.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Right, they were the last team in on Giannis and
I think I saw an unnamed source saying Milwaukee was
never serious. And so that's where I'm saying. If you
are a team that strings along other NBA teams or
stuff like that, I don't know how they're gonna get
it back at you, but they're gonna get back at
you some way, because that's just.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Not the best. Taylor, who did who did you just
to who?

Speaker 6 (07:32):
That Sauce Gardener?

Speaker 2 (07:33):
What sauce? Alito man mobile? Yeah, where's sauce right here?

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Sauce?

Speaker 2 (07:40):
What up? Sauce? Big Jeff Fins, Big Jeff Fins. We
miss you, Bud.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
We're happy for you. We're happy for you. Yes, we're
happy for you. I want the guy with a Knicks
had on. No, I don't hate this easy. We did
we embarrass this easily? Just say say we embarage.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
I'm thinking of the people that we're doing this show
for driving in their car wondering who the hell are
they yelling at all?

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Right, so people, let me address this Okay, we're we're
on Radio Row. It is super Bowl Week, and what
Sauce Gardner walks by, we just yell his name.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
We hope that he comes on.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Usually they don't, but we yell his name anyway in
an effort to get them on the show.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
That's right. You feel better now, No, I do you guys.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
You guys make it feel like I'm just a shamed
to be with you. I'm here, baby comes.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Here, people being in sharp shed in.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Yeah, what are you gonna do when you go back
home and you don't have this opportunity? Like I feel
like you are so at home right here, just pointing
at people and yelling at him.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Well, big tail Or going to Chicago, he's going to
be I'm not much.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I'm not serving what means more to tail Or being
here Radio Row super Bowl week or going to barstool
next week?

Speaker 2 (08:53):
And you guys, Jesus, oh, you guys are both going
to Chicago.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Jesus is here, Jesus, Hey Zeus, Hey Jay Jay, got
some water here for you.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
You know what to do with it. We are losing
our minds.

Gotts Live and subscribe. Let's go to uh, I mean
Radio Row. You see, Jesus, it's unbelievable. Hunter in North Carolina,
go ahead, Hunter.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
Hey, Sue, So I'm water and with the success Radio Rows,
it's gonna parlay into a live broadcast from Paho and
from Taylor, Carolina. Fancy's seventies, I'm walking distance from South
Point mall right now, I think on to back.

Speaker 8 (09:58):
Of Row.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
And ash.

Speaker 6 (10:01):
Yeah, we should do a lot show from Carol Nax.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
So, no, we shouldn't do that. To address Lake Tahoe,
we will be going out to Lake Tahoe as we
have the last You're welcome to Coup. You don't have
to gop me want to go.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
I'm in all right. Taylor went last year. Taylor.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
On a scale of one to ten, how would you
rate your experience at Lake Tahoe last year?

Speaker 5 (10:19):
So Lake Tahoe was a ten, and you feel similar
rush there, but it's not quite the same. The scenery
in Tahoe amazing, fantastic. I also love golf, so that's
a big thing if I give that a ten.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Though.

Speaker 6 (10:34):
The problem is I love Radio Rope.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
I know you knew, and I knew you would, so
Radio Row is probably an eleven or twelve because there's
no rushling.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
This scenery here is amazing. Heaven.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
Rod Woodson just walked by her Rod.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
A little bit behind Jesus.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
So we'll be back at Lake Tahoe this summer. I
was there with just Taylor last year. We were lucky
to get Matt Chuck on. Did I say that right?

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Matt?

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Mattie Boll's friends do when you go out to Tahoe,
you'll find out, is he Maddie?

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Yes, we have Gary Sheffield on. It's a it's a
who's who out there. You know how I know you
loved it out there. You spend about percent of your
radio discussions reminiscing about Lake Tahoe. I'm sure we've done
this show for three weeks now. You can go check
at least ten references. But when you see Fitzpatrick. Come over,
Ryan Fitzpatrick. Now we didn't come on the show, but

(11:25):
he fist bumped.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
You see. Charles Woodson come over and he gives me
a big hug. Right.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
The reason that is is because they know every summer
I'm gonna be hanging with them in Lake Tahoe. I've
been doing it for the last ten years, and they
have welcomed me into this very, very ridiculous club.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
I just did the chair thing. It's an exclusive.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Club that somehow they have allowed a guy named Stu
Gotts into and I am thankful for it. And yes,
we will be out there this summer and I can't
wait for it.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
I think you don't use your real name that they
wouldn't have let you in.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
We no idea. I'm also open. We go to Augusta.
Let's go to Ryan from Albuquerque. Go ahead, Ryan, all right,
Ryan ran great call Ryan, all right, get out of here.
Let's go to a huge in Albuquerque. By the way
we are, we're going at Albuquerque. Where's al Let's go

(12:22):
to uh four time?

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Long time. Let's go to a Sean in Virginia. Go ahead, Sean.

Speaker 9 (12:28):
What's going on?

Speaker 8 (12:30):
I got questions, sir, which is a better food tradition,
getting the shrimp cott.

Speaker 7 (12:36):
Fail fine or getting dinner with the media members.

Speaker 8 (12:40):
At the Super Bowl.

Speaker 9 (12:41):
And I know this one is more of a joke.

Speaker 7 (12:43):
But do you think the Browns are actually calls it
a super Bowl?

Speaker 8 (12:47):
No?

Speaker 2 (12:47):
I actually do. I do. I think the Browns people
know about the brown so much, and they do. I mean, listen,
super Bowl week.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
More of a tradition is probably that shrimp cocktail in
Indie that is overrated?

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Were it? What's the name of that steakcase? I forget that.
It's it's escaping me at the moment. I haven't been
in forever.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
And it's gonna haunt me the entire day. Saint almost
almost almost fire. Yes, listen, you go there at the
right time of the year. The things you hear in
Saint Elmos, you turned you into the number one information NFL.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
That's how shifty, did it? Yes? Just a bus boy Almos.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Yes at st Elmos. Yeah, it's actually not a terrible idea.
Just go to st el most of the day. You
know all the gms are there.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
You just create like a secret Twitter account where it's
just like I've got all the NFL info.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
You'll never believe how I get it? Did we uh?
I didn't have any media dinners. We didn't. We didn't
do much.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
We haven't done much since we've been here the entire time.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
I've been to one restaurant five times, the groove. Yes,
I know where to find you. You're easier to find
in San Francisco than your I tell or I have
to apologize to you. Said something yesterday.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
I mocked it, I laughed at it, and so I'm
going to apologize right now.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
The Charlotte Hornets are going for it.

Speaker 6 (14:11):
I think they are.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Wait a second, wait a second, seven straight, Wait a second.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
You can't do this to me.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Well, you can't mock me for trying to bring up
NBA all the time. And then we're here on Super
Bowl Week Radio row and you're like, you know what, Taylor,
I'm gonna give you a little NBA. Charlotte Hornets going
for it seven straight. So now I get to talk NBA,
but I've got to talk Charlotte Hornets and your favorite player,
Khanka Nipple.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
I mean look, I mean they are headed towards a
collision course playing game with the Atlanta Hawks.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
I mean headed towards a collision course. With five hundred.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Honestly, it is the best their franchise has been in
a long time.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
They have good players they do now.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
I mean Brandon Miller's Grandon Miller's fantastic because it's from
your all, this from your fantasy league.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
I have. I have Miller and Bridges on my fantasy team.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
Ton K Nipple has been a great draft pick, very steady.
Rookie Lonzo Ball seems to be reeling it in a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Yeah, we've got a lot of good players. They do.
They should be better. They're getting there.

Speaker 6 (15:16):
Now, they're clicking. They just acquired some veterans to kind
of get them on the right ship.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah, really, they're going for there. I apologie. That was
all I had, veterans to get them on the right ship.

You know it's sad we have to leave here eventually, Stu,
because what a set we have here at Super week
in San Francisco. The view Sonic monitors emanating from our
set give us the best. Let's look in the entire building.
You Sonic trusted for decades with innovation in every screen.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
You are right about that. We do have the best.
Definitely stands out.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
That's why people randomly come up and take pictures and
videos on the set right before we have to go
on the air.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Yeah, it's pretty amazing. Thanks to thanks to everyone for
making this happen for us. It's been a great week.
We still have one day to go. I need to sleep.
Let's quickly kick it over to Dan here for an update. Dan,
what's going on in the world of sports.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
You guys alluded to it earlier.

Speaker 10 (17:29):

We'll get to your calls here just a second eight

Speaker 2 (19:04):
So that heat getting Cam Thomas.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
He's a free agent, he is. I don't have to
trade anything for him. As he was telling me, he
feels terrible for somebody. I'm interested to know who you're
feeling bad for right now.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
It's because we're in San Francisco now, yeah, and you know,
you see like random Warrior stuff celebrating you know, their
dynasty that's probably dead now. But man, do I feel
bad for Klay Thompson really well? That guy went to Dallas. Yeah,
and he's like, all right, I probably I didn't.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Want to leave Golden State.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
But I'm the one who gets you know, I think
Kevin Durant, who gets exited out of here and then
all right, cool, Dallas, I'm good. And then they trade
Luca and then they trade Anthony Davis and then it's
just like what am I doing over here? I'm on
a rebuilding team around this rookie Cooper Flag, who's nice.
But man, I just and you watch Clay play these days, Yeah,

(19:52):
he looks miserable now.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
He always had.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Sort of this aura about him where it wasn't really
like just mister happy, go lucky all the time, but
when he was on a streak, he would show he's
having a good time. I have not seen that dude
smile in a game in a long time.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
I feel like he's just miserable.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
Not that he would be that much better here in
Golden State, but given the form that he's in now,
they could definitely have some sort of flashback moments if
they were playings here together still, and it probably wouldn't
be as sad as it.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
Is for Golden State at the moment. Either.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Hard for me to feel bad for a guy who's
making sixteen point six million dollars for playing mediocre basketball.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
How about that, Huh?

Speaker 5 (20:27):
I would be the worst pro athlete because if I
was making that kind of money, if I've had the
career that Klay Thompson has where it's like Wednesday night,
we're playing the Milwaukee Bucks in Milwaukee, if I was
Klay tom Town Buck, I don't really feel like it.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
Megan like doing that. Actually, Megan and I are going
to just spend the night out here.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
But feeling bad for Clay, there are other people to
feel terrible for.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Clay Thompson is not wanted, but Clay is one of us.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Like, you get to decide for yourself who you feel
badly for. I'm just telling you you should feel badly
for someone who needs your support, because Clay Thompson is
doing just fine without you. Sixteen and a half million
dollars for eleven money.

Speaker 10 (21:07):
Yes, is he walked past two hundred homeless people on
his way to radio.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
He felt mad.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Yes, the people in America who have to work two jobs,
those are the people feel bad to make ends meet.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
That's right. Yes, have the amount of money I've given
to homeless people. Dan, I've been here. I have no
more change. He had dinner with a homeless person. But
that was you.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
But the thing about Clay is like he was genuine
like just joy like pure basketball, mister ethical basketball, just
like the best. And he was such a great fit
here in Golden State, which is why it's like, man,
really I can't stick around. You're gonna make me go
somewhere else. Fine, I'll go over here. Play with this guy,

(21:52):
and now he's all by himself.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Listen, I understand what you're saying to say, and I
understand what you're saying, okay, but and you.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Understand what Dan is saying. I understand when all three.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Of you saying okay, I'm glad we all understand what
each other is saying. What I am saying, though, is
Klay Thompson has had an amazing career and this is
the end of it. But it's been an amazing career.
He's on one of the all time great teams that
we've ever seen in the NBA, probably the most legendary
backcourt in the history of the NBA.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
And when you talk about the Splash Brother, and he
should still be there, and.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
He's you know, he's one championships, he's made a ton
of money, he's a popular guy, and.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
He should still be here right soaking all that in
the rewards for all of his work and Coronia River
Tuck in Dallas.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Watching this rookie work through his growing paints. I'm just saying,
homeless people, I mean.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
We're gonna do this every time. I can have no
emotions toward millionaires.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
I mean, listen, I feel bad for the producer who's
still out there in the middle of radio row trying
the book guests.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Let me tell you something, producer, it ain't happening. Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
If you haven't gotten the guest by now, you're not
getting them today. I promise you. Where's Bo Jackson?

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Like we cleared out guests and instead we're talking about
Klay Thompson in the homeless situation in San Francisco.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Listen, I feel bad, uh that we did that to
Bo Jackson.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
I gotta be like it.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Never in my wildest dream did I ever think a
day would come where Bo Jackson would be on my
guest list and I would say no to no Jackson.

Speaker 6 (23:17):
This is this isn't his first radio row. I'm sure Boos, I.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Just what are we doing? What was I doing? What
when Bo was supposed to come on? What is it
that I was doing? Was I on with Berman? Was
it Russini? Who was it who we bumped Bo for?

Speaker 4 (23:34):
So I can't feel bad for Klay Thompson because of
his salary, but you can feel bad for Bo Jackson.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Who's probably made a pretty penny in his career and
continues to Was it Dominique? Was he amous?

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Everybody's blending together right now, Let's go to Uh it
was Dominique.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
I think Bo was supposed to start the show with us,
and if we made got break off.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
No West source to say it was Berman. It was Oh,
I'm good good, No Bo, I mean that's what was like? What? Yeah,
Well listen because no one ever to Berman. By the way,
that was my bird.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
It was well done. No one ever cancels on Bo
Jackson except for us. But I wanted Chris Berman on
because Bo Jackson is going to be on twenty seven
radio stations across America today and Chris Burman is gonna
be on one and it's ours Charlotte Wilder, Charlotte, Charlotte. Eh,
what up, old friend. Let's go to Tony from Virginia.

(24:27):
Go ahead, tone, everyone's so confused, go down, yop.

Speaker 8 (24:32):
Sue in my top. In my hand, I have today's
top five list from the com offices of Chandler Arizona.
The top five Pilot Shuck Dame, number five baseball manager,
Shuck Show Walter, the number four I Buy Superhero Chuck
Rogers Nice number three legendary baseball scatter arms Shucked not

(24:55):
Block number two A team to Tampa Bay shucks. No
one reason that Tom Brady made it to his first
Super Bowl. Shuck rule, how about that?

Speaker 2 (25:07):
How about that?

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Yeah, stew Gotts has had sports radio and sports talk
like I've actually heard people say Adam bar top five
athletes to connotes such and such, and I'm just like.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Son of a gun.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Yeah, listen, I have felt it this week. I have
and I appreciate it, and I love everyone here. I
walked through Radio Row Man. I can feel it as
he's walking with me. He can feel it, Taylor. He's
in a whole different world and an entirely different person
what he is here, but I feel it, and I
just want to thank everyone because your support, your kind words,
the hugs you're giving me are different than the hugs

(25:42):
you would give me years ago. They feel different, and
I feel your support, and I wanted to thank everyone
for you.

Speaker 6 (25:48):
Still have to present your Stu Gots MVP Award.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Oh that's right. What do they get? A book?

Speaker 5 (25:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (25:53):
Signed book and it's for the greatest guests or just
your best experience here.

Speaker 6 (25:57):
So it's it's.

Speaker 5 (25:58):
Too an up and come on Radio Row to just
present them with a book like Jim Nance presents his
tie still remind some college kid, Hey, keep it going,
we see you.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
I say you give it to the Syracuse kids that
we stopped and talked to. They seem like they know
what they're doing.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Yeah, but right next to them is the Northwest West
Jadande Earl.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
No, I know I talked to Jaya.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Yes, I don't know what to do because Emma goes
to Syracuse and Rachel goes Hi.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Skip them both and give it to the Columbia crew
right behind them, because there too bombers.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
I mean, have you seen a young producer out here,
Hustle and Taylor, anyone you know, anyone who's who's worthy
of a of an autograph Stegott's personal record book, what
a Laane gift.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
We kind of have to go, like in disguise and
just walk by and kind of get a layer of
the land and see how they're doing. We don't want to,
you know, know that we're going to present them with
a trophy. We kind of want to see how they
work when nobody's watching.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
Right by the way, if you missed any of today's show,

Stegtson Company not Live, our podcast that we do before
the show. Also, Chris Berman will be there at some
point as well. Christopher mad Dog were So I'm going
to give it to Eddie Erikson, That's who I'm going
to give it to, because he has had a rough week.
He tour his calf walking up a hill. Mad Dog

(27:33):
shredded him on our show right in front of him.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
So I'm going to give him a Booklet.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
Me let me just say this Eddie Erickson and his injury,
because I heard what happened with his injury, and I
feel like this is just a message for all men
I don't know forty and over. Let's just say, if
you haven't done much athletic stuff over a long period
of time, don't try to sprint up a hill.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Whilst carrying a heavy band.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
Totally fair, you're going to tear a calf muscles and
so I'm sorry to Erickson as a Stu Gotts liked
to call him, but just a p s A for
all you know middle aged men.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
I wanted to tell you guys something. I conquered the
hill yesterday.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
I did. I walked up it. Did you first time
this week? Yeah? I did that light you're so tired,
my former lacrosse star Stu Gats, Yes, that top five list,
I'll take the call, is I can? I see it
right there, Sam in Arizona, GT. Mic from Fort Lauderdale.
I'll get to them.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
But that list, the Tyler shuck list, that was just
done by that caller.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Listen, I took a gummy list. The least surprising news
we've heard since we've been here.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
And because I mentioned to you yesterday that I think
a part of my tooth.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Fell off, I I was.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
I was sitting in the room and after I climbed
those hills, and I was putting together a list of
top five athletes that, if their parents really cared about
teeth and things around your mouth and a cleanly mouth,
what they would name their kid, And I'm not going

(29:14):
to do the entire list today, but I'm just going
to give you a preview.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Wow, little ts into the tooth Top five.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
We're teeth Goosen. If you want the other four tune
in Monday is that.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
When we're getting it. I have no idea. Who's an
Arizona against Sam? Sam? Is an Arizona? Sam? You're on
Fox Sports Radio? Me? No, this is GG Mike.

Speaker 9 (29:45):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (29:46):
That's having it?

Speaker 8 (29:47):
Man?

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Man?

Speaker 9 (29:49):
Man, I just had a call you, man, going back
to the QAM days when you worked on Hank. That's
how long I've been listened to you, And to be
honest with you, nothing against Dan, but Dan is Dan,
and I'm happy.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
You're doing what you're doing.

Speaker 9 (30:00):
You're great to hear Israel on the air. It's kind
of like a national program with still some hometown feeling
of you guys being with us and just everything about you,
man is just it's cool.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Man.

Speaker 9 (30:11):
It's kind of like, you know, it's like it's funny, man,
Like like I kind of grew up with you, you know.
I started when I was like right out of college,
and now I'm like fifty two and listen to you
again and It's like GM back in single when I
was twenty five.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
Right, how different does he sound? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (30:31):
You sound like tou man and you know you come
you come through too, and uh, it's.

Speaker 7 (30:36):
Just great man.

Speaker 9 (30:37):
I'm happy to hear you, man, and just welcome back bro, all.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Right and get Mike. Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Man, I'm telling you, that's the type of stuff I've
been hearing from listeners and from colleagues and here at
Radio Row all week.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
And it's it's meant a lot to me.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
You know what I'm saying when I when I say
the hugs feel different, Yes, they feel they feel supportive.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
It's like a long term thank you. Yeah right, it's
just yeah, one hundred percent. And it's you know, you
should soak it all in. I took it all in
because you deserve it.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
I am thank you. Is I'm going to soak it
in again next year in La. How about that? Huh,
I'll see it. I think I have a thing.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
For over forty years, tire Reck has been helping customers
find the right tires for how, what and where they drive.
Shipped fast and free, backed by free road hazard protection
with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation tire rack
dot com the way tire buying should be.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
All right, let's let's take a quick time out here.
We'll wrap it up. We usually I like to go
to poll questions here and now I just thought it
was Friday and it's not.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
It's Thursday. We have another show to the Taylor.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
What is happening to a tailor hasn't spoken a word
in like forty five minutes because he's exhausted.

Speaker 5 (31:39):
No, No, that's not what Jefferson is within arms ring.
Oh and he's got maybe the best necklace I've ever seen.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
It's the most diamonds I've seen this close promoting Lows.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
It's a diamond encrusted Low's bucket. It's got a Low's bucket.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
It's probably got a bunch of just random diamonds inside
the bucket.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Listen, listen. He's when I say he's right next to us,
he's right next to us. Yeah, he's doing Conca Heart Jem.
Do you think he right? Yes? Top five things that
have drove measy. No.

Speaker 6 (32:11):
First things, First, it's worse.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
Colin's second thing. Second, he's not even doing Collin Joey.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
He's got so many diamonds on he's got to spend
his mouth on his glasses.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Do you guys think he purchased that specifically for this
run on Radio Row?

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Like, did he spend money on that?

Speaker 4 (32:32):
I was going to go ahead and say they work
together on getting a spectacular looking fake diamond.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
The other his are real. He's wearing three more diamond
necklaces around it.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
But I'm gonna go ahead and say that Lows did
not just completely load that thing with one hundred carrots
of diamonds, okay, Because I was gonna say he's going
to regret that so much when he gets older. If
I would walk by him wearing that, I would just
throw something in the bucket.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
Yes, he is so cool. I wish he was a jet,
But if he was a jet, he would stink.

Speaker 10 (33:00):
It's fitting because the chances of J. J. McCarthy completing
a pass to him is also low.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Wow. Well, it took a while for me to get there.

Speaker 10 (33:09):
It took a while for me to get there, But
I thought I parked it in the garage.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Yeah, I know you did. I'm glad you got there, man.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
Yeah, Pert way to take us to break eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
I am whispering to go to. Justin Jennings is doing
a live interview right next to me.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gotson Company
Live weekdays at three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
All right, wrap it up Day four here Radio Row,
San Francisco. Super Bowl Week Seahawks and Patriots. I wish
I was more excited for this Super Bowl. I feel
you know what, I feel bad for the Super Bowl
to Patriots and the Seahawks because all everyone is doing

(33:56):
is saying how this game is not interesting.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Now, I'm not saying that because you don't have any.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Stories like and it's the media's job to really drive
interest in the game, and the media is not that
into this game. There just aren't really storylines to attach
yourself to. If you're not a fan of Seattle and
New England meeting, there's no legacy game. There's no you know,
Lamar trying to win his first or Patrick Mahomes trying
to get closer to Tom Brady, or you know, Joe

(34:22):
Burrow trying to win his first, But you have none
of that. Is he You have two teams that weren't
supposed to be here that a lot of people don't
care about now. It might turn into a great game
once they start playing, and I'm certain if it does,
the ratings will be will be huge, but.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
It still won't have the same meeting.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
You're never care You can go back and say, Wow,
that was a great super Bowl finish, or that was
a great you know, final few plays, but it's never
going to be Oh, that was so great the way
Joe Montana won his fourth or third super Bowl and
you know, really established that, or John Elway finally breaking
through because of Terrell Davis and then you know, winning
back to back. It's like what we talked about with

(34:59):
with Terrell. Actually, it's just he's a little bit more
old school where he wants those storylines and less parody,
but he also wants like the big mega team, right,
the big giant of a team that's really difficult to overcome,
and have a sort of David and Goliath story. None
of those things are there, which is why I'm saying
the game itself could be great. The game itself could
be memorable, but without the juice from everything that you're

(35:20):
saying with the narratives, you don't have that going in
and you can't anticipate coming out the back end of
it with oh yeah, now we know Sam Darnold is
one of the all time greats. Now, nobody's going to
make that big a leap because it's just the one game.
So it's a long way of saying, the game is
all we got. So watch the game. Hopefully it's good.
I'm sure the halftime show will be great. But in
terms of like the pregame show, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
You're right, well and listen, it's Goliath.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
It's you know, you need that David versus Goliath type thing,
and right now you just kind of have David versus David.
There are two teams that weren't expected to be here,
underdogs No One.

Speaker 6 (35:55):
David versus David.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
I like that, and you like that? Huh, No One?
I wish it was Goliath versus Goliath. Well, we actually
the problem.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
We had somebody here with a rooting interest in Taylor.
He is America's number one Patriots fan, has been for weeks, yes,
and so I'm wondering, Taylor, how you view this?

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Are you watching the game and just be honest, baby,
watch Taylor has a rooting interest in Tom Brady, doesn't.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
Right, Tom Brady has no friends, and Taylor's best friend
is Mac Collins. So do you watch Are you literally
like watching Mac every play or are you watching well
when he's in there? Are you watching them and just
chearing like a regular fan of this team.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
No.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
So I'm rooting for the Patriots at every turn, and
when I'm at the game this Sunday, I'm going to.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Be really a humble brag right there. We didn't even
know you were good. I didn't know you were good.
You didn't know that I didn't know he was going.
He's on the Patriots sideline.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
Yeah, I'm gonna be excited to be there. But if
things start to spiral out of control the way that
a lot of people in the media have said that
the Seahawks might just dominate worst case scenario, I'm looking
at it as going to a Bad Bunny concert and
well worth the price.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
Well, you're not act they gonna be on the sideline,
are you?

Speaker 4 (37:01):
Okay? I was like, hey, I mean it is your boy.
You give you four minutes on media days, so he
might be your boy.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
So you're saying, worst case scenario is you're seeing Bad
Bunny in concert?

Speaker 5 (37:11):
Yeah, which I would pay you know ten times what
I got a ticket for to see Bad Bunny and concert.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
But when it comes to.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
Narratives in this Super Bowl all season, it feels like
we've dismissed the Patriots at every turn, saying, you know,
who have they bet been easy to you, downplaying their schedule,
But they just keep on winning. The Patriots just keep
finding a way. Now the chickens have come home to roost,
and it's like, yes, just one more game.

Speaker 11 (37:37):
But I just don't like if you just look at
the star power of each team, it feels like, yeah,
the Patriots have some nice players, emerging players, if you will,
obviously Drake May, But it feels like Seattle just.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
Has more, more explosive players, more guys that could.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
Be, you know, top of their position.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
Yes, the best player in this game, the most talented
player in this game is a name that everyone's terrified
to say.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
So not you, Jackson Smith and Jigba so easy.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
I mean, it's rolls off your time waiting for the
one time you make a mistake, and then all of
a sudden you'll just have some sort of PTSD and
never be able to say it right again.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
I'll get fired if I make the canceled its dangerous name.
This is did this?

Speaker 4 (38:16):
Sam is in Arizona? Tried to call back is Sam
and Arizona? There, Sam, if you are there, I'm not
sure you're on Fox Sports Radio. I didn't think so. No.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
I was getting good after.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
I think he had the shuck list, which inspired me
to tell you about Reteeth Goosen.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
Tony g If that was just a teased that's going
to be a great to Yeah, ton Yeah, Tony, JJ Yes,
we'll just yell out names of the I legitimately started
looking for JJ Reddick. You are such a tork. Why

(38:56):
would he be here? I don't know. Why would Robert
Irwin in a snake be that's a very very Why
would Jesus be here? I think the reckoning is that,
why would there be a dog in a wagon? Earlier?
It was a beautiful golden retriever. So do you we're tired?
Oh my god, we are so tired.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
So it's interesting, it's just there's nothing to get excited.
Like you all put money on it. I'll root for
myself to win a lot of money on the game.
I'll probably root for Sam Darnold, but like I'll win
and I'll shrug my shoulders and I'll go to bed,
and if the Patriots.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
Went, I'll be annoyed because I'm tired of the Patriots.

Speaker 4 (39:36):
I'm trying to think of not just the outcome that
would be completely out of left field and never expected,
not just like the score and who wins, but how
it's done that would just be shocking overwhelming that you
just have to say, this is one of the most
memorable Super Bowls.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
I've ever seen. Drew Brees.

Speaker 4 (39:59):
Him coming back to this Super Bowl, Yes, that would
be probably the most memorable thing that has ever happened
in a Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
I got from Taylor was Wow, he needn't know that
it was Drew Brees.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Drew Brees smaller than Bryce Young.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
Yes, he has never been this You have never been
this close to Drew Brees.

Speaker 5 (40:16):
The best outcome for this Super Bowl is he is
me partying with Cardi B after the game.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
I hope it happens. I really did.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
If the Patriots win is not going to take you
out afterwards, what do you think?

Speaker 6 (40:28):
I believe I have the friends and family wristband.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
Is that where Cardi B Is going to be performing?

Speaker 6 (40:33):
I believe so.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
I once went to a Super Bowl, and I said
the same thing to myself that listen, worst case scenario,
I'll be seeing I'll be seeing Prince at halftime.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Do you remember that Super Bowl? No? Yeah, I remember.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
I remember the one Super Bowl that I went to
cover the actual game for the Miami Herald. I got
the great halftime show of the Who because it was
following the Janet Jackson.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
Oh, Pete Townsend.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
I mean, honestly, Altree don't even know single the Who song.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Little John at Whistle? What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Pinball wizard Man? What's the matter with you? No idea
what you could play that for me?

Betrayal Season 5

Betrayal Season 5

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
