Speaker 3 (00:20):
Taylor put it on the pole.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
How long would you go if your significant other went
missing before you called law enforcement? Three days, five days,
seven days, ten days.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Where do you think Abby's breaking point would be for you?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Well? Past ten days?
Speaker 1 (00:37):
I mean, I'm not certain she has a breaking point.
What would your breaking point be for me? Would you
start looking for me? I?
Speaker 4 (00:46):
Yes, I would have to the show. You are the
straw that stirs the drink when it comes to this show, right,
so I would desperately need you, because then it would
just be me looking at the camera and looking at
the microphone and be like I could field time talking
about the Yankees, like Camp Schlitzler, My godpa, what a
start last night?
Speaker 3 (01:04):
And that's all you have right there? That's it? Huh
want to start Cam Schlitzler, my god, pow exactly, no
reason to expand.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
I can't wait to We're at the American Century Championships
here late Tahoe. I can't wait to have David Wells
on because I want to ask him about you saying
no for Cam.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
I just did it, Gam Schlittler for Paul Skids.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
I want to see what David Wells's reaction to that is.
I want to see what Gary Sheffield's reaction.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
To that is. We are out in Lake Tahoe, the
American Century Championships.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
It's beautiful. It's the same day. Every day, every single
day is the same day. I am looking right across
at Dan Patrick's set.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
We are right off the driving range. This is where
we like to be.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
But I'm wondering at all, Taylor, I was talking to
Polly Paps earlier, his executive producer. Are you jealous at
all of Dan Patrick's set? I mean, just it's big.
I mean, so it's a Hall of Fame set. I
mean for a Hall of Famer.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
I'm the only reason I'm jealous of it is just
because of size and stature. It reminds me of our
setup for Super Bowl Week on Radio Row, where it's
the first thing that draws your eyes when you come
out here. How big his setup is? Yeah, and then
we're on this, on this table. But again we're there's
nothing you could do this week to get me to
(02:20):
complain outside of the US men's national team soccer team,
because that will get me to complain outside of that.
In terms of how I'm feeling here this week, nothing
can get my vibes down.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
But we love this table because we love where it's situated.
It is right next to the driving range. The players
have to walk past us, they have to get on
the range, they have to walk.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Past us to.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Get off the range. We're going to have Adam feeling
on later. We're gonna have the kachuksa on taping with
them later on both of them. The brothers are very
excited about that. But this is our place. It suits
me and you it does you know. Yeah, if we
were there, there's expectation that comes with a stage like that. Here,
there is zero expectation. We're here where at the picnic table,
(03:00):
the plastic thing covering the play you know, the pic
it's it's green, it's gross, and I love it and
I wouldn't want to be anywhere else Because there is
an unreasonable expectation that Dan Patrick has by being on
such a big set, you know, So.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
When we come out here to Tahoe, do you have
any goals or expectations for the week or do you
is it just a lazy river for you? Whatever happens happened.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
It's a lazy river. Whatever happens happens.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Like I have a pretty good idea of who we're
going to get on, when we're going to get them on,
and anything past that, it's just kind of gravy.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
You know.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
For me, I have a personal goal and then I
have a show goal.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
You seem way more organized than confident this year, and
I'm proud of you. I just wanted you to I
want to listen. We came out here a year ago,
Taylor and I. We had no radio partner. Now we
have a national radio show on in over two hundred
and fifty markets. Okay, we didn't have any sponsor, and
now we have FanDuel. Like I am super you are
a way more confident person, an organized person than you
(03:56):
were a year ago. But I wanted you to know that,
Telor I wanted the audience to that you hung in
there with me, and I hung in there with you.
And a year later, a year removed from being here,
it was a rogue operation last year. I mean rogue
as rogue could be okay. But now we have a
radios show nationally syndicated on Fox Sports Radio. We have
(04:19):
partnerships with iHeart and FanDuel, and I just wanted you
to know that I am proud of you, my friend.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
That's all.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Yes, you got it. Now what you do with that?
I have no idea camp Schlittler, great start, man, So
which one do you want first? My personal goals? I'm
expecting a longer thank you. I had to be honest
with you, but that's okay.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
My personal goal or my professional goal for the.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Week, whatever you want, go ahead, it's your show.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
My personal goal for the week, and it comes off
of last year. Yes, last year, the first day in Tahoe,
the Sun absolutely beat me down.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Well it's beating me down right now.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
The Sun won the first round, yes, at ten to
seven round. It was a clean, a clean ten to seven.
They knocked me down a couple of times.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Yes, the judget scored at ten to seven.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Son right, Yes, there was there was somebody who was
helping us produce last year that was in our corner
and saying, man, we should probably throw in the towel.
That's how bad it is beating him.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
By the way, I just called you by accident. Sorry
anyway you were saying.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
So my goal this year personally is just be more prepared.
Last year I didn't even come with a hat. This year,
I have a hat. Last year, I didn't have sunscreen.
This year I have sunscreen. Yes, so two for two already.
Like personal goal, I wanted to set the bar very low,
much like Christian Pulisic being the best player for the
US men's national team Steve Steve Rodgers, Yes exactly. The
(05:43):
bar was so low for my personal goals that I
was going to crush them no matter what, because all
I needed was a hat and sunscreen. The professional goal
is a little bit tougher. I want to bury the
hatchet this this week with the Richison.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Okay, so how are we going to do that?
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Because Rich Eisen is someone that I mean, listen, I
have said some things about him. I've called him Rich
lis In because I feel like he stole some of
my ideas. And I'm saying this, I'm speaking softly here
because rich could be hanging around, he could be anywhere.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
At this point, I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
But Taylor has been telling me for a while that
Rich Eisen is someone I should be friends with, that
we should be kindred spirits, that Rich Eiesen is a
Long Island guy, he's a Jets fan. He is I
feel like I'm talking like Rich Eisen right now. But
he and I have been feuding and I tried to
bury it last year. I did, you saw me. I
(06:32):
tried to do it. I don't think Rich wanted anything
to do with it. But anyway, carry on. So what's
going on with Isien here?
Speaker 4 (06:38):
So your your main complaint of Rich Eisen is that
you feel like he's stolen some of your ideas in
the past.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
Just the magic at bad that's it.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
But it's okay, I listen, I have stolen a million
ideas from rich Eisen.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
He just doesn't know about it. I mean, how about that?
Speaker 4 (06:51):
So the problem with trying to bury the hatchet with
rich Eyesen this this time in Tahoe. Yeah, last week,
I'm watching the Rich Eysen choke. Like you said, I
have no problem with rich Eisen.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
You're telling me I should be friends with riches exactly.
So I'm watching and I've heard Richison is a wonderful man.
I've heard very good things about him. He just won't
let me in. I mean, so I'm.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
Watching the Rich Eisen Show Steve Gott. He starts a segment.
It was his top five observations about the World Cup.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
I mean virtualizing Jesus.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
That felt.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Did he have beeps? No? No, he just did it straight.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
No, it was his top five observations about the World
Cup as seen through the eyes of a casual soccer fan.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Oh really, okay, and you feel like I've trade moreked
observations period and the discussion.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
Right, I'm going to have it legally, but you feel
like they're mine.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Right, It's like the iceman Caleb Williams can't have it
because of George Gervins, even though he doesn't have a
patent for it exactly.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
And then you have this situation where you've built a
career off your your observations. I almost called them what
they what they used to be called dangerous game. Yes,
that's a whole other top Enrichison could getting a seasoned
assist letter.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
He's not calling on weekend, is he? No? Just soccer observations.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
It was just it was just his top five soccer observation.
So I think they're they're good. Yeah, they were good observations.
So there's two ways that we could we could look
at this.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
I want to bury this hatchet.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
I'm telling you right now, I don't care that he
stole observations from me.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Okay, that was.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Exactly what I was going to say. There's two ways
we could we could handle he could be petty about
him taking observations, or you could be the bigger man
in this situation and say, Rich, my observations are your observation.
We're in Tahoe, make yourself at home if you like
any if you like, if you want to do a
sports whisper segment, Rich Eisen.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
You could have the sports to all your sex, buddy. Yep.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
So that's I think that's the approach. We go.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Okay, so is there a segment that he does that
you like that we could steal just out of curry
out and you're right, like, tell Eysen, whatever's what's mine
is his. That's what sports radio is all about. There
are no original ideas. Okay, they've all been taken and
so like you know, whether it's Mike Greenberg, whether it's
Colin Cowherd, whether it's Dan Patrick. I have stolen from
(09:14):
every single one of them, and I will steal from
them again. But they need to admit that they have
stolen from me, and they will steal from me again.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
But I am good with that. I am good with sharing.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
But doesn't Richison have like a staple segment that he does,
because I want to see if he gets offended if
we do his segment?
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Do't they do something like a high picture or something
like that, not so share?
Speaker 1 (09:34):
So I'm gonna have to make a I'm gonna have
to put my hand on. He's got a good show,
by the way, I enjoy his radio program.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
I do.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
I'm gonna put my hand up here because I said
that I listen regularly to Rich Eisen show.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
You've never listened.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
I've never listened.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
You thought I was proud of you five minutes ago.
I've never been prouder of you that I am right now.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
So if anybody's seen Rich Eison show and could tell
us what his signature segments are, I'm sure they're great.
I know.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
It's like, I'm not even sure they're great. I know
they're great. We know he's great, and we know the
show is great. He does something called upper register, like okay,
you know what I'm saying, Like they say it in
a weird upper registered voice like that, so sure, you know,
like kind of that, they finish their sentence with a flurry.
It's it's you want to steal it. I mean, we
(10:23):
could try that. It's like Christian Polisic. I'm trying to
think of how to do it.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Really Captain America. But that's how they do it. I'm
telling you, I listened to the show.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
I'm like you, I can't believe that came back in
my face that quick.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
You know.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
It's like kind of those those conversations you have in
the shadows. It's almost like the sports whisper. Now that
I'm thinking about it, maybe you stole it from me.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
Yeah, But just to be clear, we love Rich Eisen, Yeah,
we want to bury the hatchway.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
And we love his whole crew. The show is fantastic.
Tailors never listen to it.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I'm sure it's a great crew, but it's like stuff,
you know, Bill Belichick, little overrated. That's how they do it. Yes, yeah,
but you have to do it in that voice. It's
like an upper register.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Yeah, it's like you're saying something that you don't really
want too many people to know about in the upper
register really hammers at home.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
You know your point. I don't know why they do it,
but that's what they do.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
I'm telling you, the more you're talking about this segment,
the more it sounds like the sports.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
The further you are away from listening to his show.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson Company
Live weekdays at three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific on
Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
I have to get to this Yanni's story. But Taylor
is still watching soccer. I stopped watching soccer like most
of you the second the United States choked to Belgium.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
That was a bad loss. So I can't get over it.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Just it's okay to lose, just to lose in a
way that's so embarrassing that I can't even be proud
of this soccer team for reaching the round of sixteen.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
Just enough enough of men's soccer anyway.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
I am told something else happened in the World Cup today,
but again I wouldn't know because I stopped watching soccer.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
What happened to him?
Speaker 4 (12:15):
So Egypt and Argentina are playing their Round of sixteen game. Yeah,
Egypt gets off to a blistering start. Stude. Yeah, they score,
it's one new. Wow, they score again.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
They go to VR. Of course they go to VR.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Well they do, yes, but VAR has been, you know,
the star of the tournament thus far, the var of
the tournament.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
One might say. Yes.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
So they go to VR and we have.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
A cameraman who just shook his head because it was
such a bad joke.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
It's a joke I told yesterday.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Matt is his name, and he didn't like the joke
and he made like he made a face like he
had just drank sour milk. You know, the var of
the tournament. It's all I got for you. I mean,
so love you man.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
They go to VR. They disallow Egypt's second goal. Right,
Egypt comes back almost instantaneously, right, and they score a
second goal for good this time.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
So they took one away and then they got one back. Huh. Yeah,
so they're up to nothing.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
They're up.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
That'szact being up twenty one and nothing in an NFL game.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
It is, I mean kind of but also, you know
what they say about two nil leads?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
What do they say?
Speaker 4 (13:18):
It's the worst lead to have. Why do they say that,
because you start to let your guard down a little.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
I see, Yes, you're you're.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
Flying high with momentum. It's a lot easier to slip up.
Once you go up to nil.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
You're starting to think about things you shouldn't be thinking.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
About, like who we're going to play next round and
all that, right, Like, hey, we're about to beat Argentina.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Correct, correct?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Right, So then you can't let that slip into your head.
You can't do it.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
It's too nil.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Right.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
Argentina scores in the seventy ninth.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Minute Wow against the parked bus. Uh.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
Christian Romero scores for Argentina.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Right, he's good.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
And this is already at the point where Messi has
already missed a penalty at this point, okay them and Messi.
You know what it stands for, Missy? That wasn't a
sour milk log.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
What does he stand for, Taylor? It stands for misde penalty? Okay, well, messy,
more like missy. That's where I was going.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
So then it's two to one, right, and you could
feel the momentum shifting back towards the Argentina side.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Okay, the egypt side.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Holding on for dear life, right, Messi scores in the
eighty third minute. Oh wow, he equalizes in the eighty
third minute. Now it's too two. Yes, and you know
what happens once it's two two.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
What happens?
Speaker 1 (14:32):
It's already over because it's tie technically, but you're saying
the game's over because Egypt is like, oh my god,
I can't believe.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
We had him up to nothing and now it's too too.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
We had him up to nil and then within a
four minute span the games equalized, and at that point
all the momentum is on the Argentina side. It looks
like it's gonna go to extra time. But in stoppage time,
Enzo Fernandez scores three to two Argentina.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Wow, amazing. So Egypt loses, but they had a good tournament.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
I mean, Egypt today is walking away from this tournament
saying this tournament for us was a smashing success. We
got to the round of sixteen. We were just happy
to be here. We have most Salah. Egypt is happy
today with their.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Performing Most Salah, who could also be your bookie.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
But you think they're walking away even after being up
to nothing, they're still happy because they had an opportunity
here to upset one of the world powers in soccer.
I don't know if they're walking away feeling good. Not
when you're up to niling a gate, you know.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
So that is right. I don't know if they're happy,
but at least the Egyptian fans are proud of the boys, okay,
where if you contrast the United States side, nobody is
really proud of the performance that the United States had
against Belgium. So I think that's the biggest difference. But
the bigger point this World Cup has been a smashing
(15:54):
success from everybody outside of the US perspective. Because this
is now the third game of the tournament. This is
the third game of the tournament.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
I'm listening. Someone was taking my golf clubs away that
I have here on the driving range.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I was a little bit concerned. I'm distracted. Anyway, go ahead,
third game of the tournament. I can multitest the rare.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Third game of the tournament where cap Verde Argentina the
second one that Argentina's been involved in. Yes, cap Verde
Argentina the game of the tournament. Then a couple of
days later you have Mexico England, the second game of
the tournament, and now today you get Egypt Argentina. Wow,
the rare third game of the tournament.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Right, I've spent the entire time trying to think of
because you said walking away, they're happy, walk like an
Egyptian is what I've been thinking of.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
How to weave that joke. Thank you. The cameraman mad
again just pointed at me, saying, that's what.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
You should be thinking about. And I was thinking about.
You know, I once did a list of athletes that
could oote Egypt. Miguel Cairo, I have about that, Nile Diggs,
I mean, Michael Sphinx.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Miguel Cairo would have been the only one.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
I had, because that's all you know about Egypt.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
And Miguel Cairo was a Yankee great, right.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
He was not a Yankee great tailor. He was an
Okay Yankee. Is that fair?
Speaker 4 (17:11):
Yeah? But the second you play on the Yankees, you
automatically become a Yankee great. For me, there's like certain
reservations where the guys that never earned their pinstripes. It's
guys like Carl Pavano or the Kiakawa era of those
Yankees where they never really did anything to earn their pinstripes.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
I need to get to this Yanna story, but I
do want to tell you that I saw I saw
Adam Thielen before and no one has ever done this
to me at Taha. But he suggested that a small
flyer on himself would be a good idea for me.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
And wow, well, because he's.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Retired from football and he's been locked in and all
he's been doing is playing golf.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
Yes, and he was already good to be.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
He was already like a top five, top ten finisher
consistently here. He's one of the best golfers out here.
But I'm going to drop a flyer on him. I am,
I'm going to I am, and I'm not even I'm
not even certain it's a flyer. I feel like, you know,
it's probably gonna be like even money or something like that.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
You know, I got a theel and he could win this.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
He just wentz again, no, no thumbs up. Now It's
like he opened up the fridge. He tried the milk
right out of the container and it was sour. That's
that's the phace you make when you drink sour milk.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
I mean, be sure to catch live editions of Stu
Godson Company live weekdays at three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
So anyway, what happened with Giannis?
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Because I am told that there are a lot of
Heat fans who are upset because they purchased a jersey
that Yannis saw is not going to be wearing, at
least with a number that Yannis isn't going to be
using anymore.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
I was not aware of this what happened?
Speaker 4 (18:41):
So the trade became official yesterday, right because of the
NBA league calendar. Everybody knew that Jannis was going to
be a member of the Heat, but the Heat couldn't
talk about Yannis being there until yesterday. So people since
the trade happened have been going on the Heat website
and ordering Yanish jerseys with the number thirty four. You
(19:02):
would assume he was thirty four in Milwaukee. Thirty four
is available for Miami. He's going to be thirty four
the day the trade becomes official. Outside or in the
Cassea Center, in the team store, they're selling Yanna's thirty
four jerseys. Okay, because again you have no other reason
to think it's.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
The number he's worn his entire life. Yes, I mean,
why would you put any other number on there.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
I mean, so here's where the mistake comes in. They
open the Team's store. People are lined up, you know,
around the corner. People are lined up past the Freedom
Tower in downtown Miami trying to get their hands on
a Yanish jersey. Everybody's buying the jerseys. Their jerseys are
selling like hotcakes in the in the Team's store. Right,
(19:47):
Yannis comes out at the end of the day.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Yesterday, after everyone's purchased the jersey, after everyone's purchase.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
With the number he's worn his entire life.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Yeah, Yannis comes out later in the day on a
streamers dream and says, I'm wearing seven.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
And now it can't even be like I'm wearing three
or I'm wearing two, And you could just scratch out
the three on your jersey, right.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Well, what you could do if you got they honest
thirty four jersey, you could just do to four. You
could just do the three and put an addition sign
in between the three and the four if you want
to get to that seven. It's not the most efficient
way for a jersey. And if I'm at the Team
store and I'm assuming those jerseys are like over one
hundred dollars probably nowadays. Yes, you don't want to buy
(20:35):
a jersey where you're now adding like duct tape in
between the three and the four just to do a plus.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
Sign put it on the pall.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
If you bought a thirty four Yannis jersey, would you
put a plus side in between the three and the four?
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Do you do equal seven?
Speaker 4 (20:50):
So what you were left with is Heat fans ready
to revolt that they bought this Jannis thirty four jersey.
Somebody from the Heat should have had the awaywareness to say, hey, Yannis,
this we've we've had this trade done for about a
week now. Yes, somebody has to know what number you're
going to be to where we're not left feeling blindsided
(21:12):
about this. So the Heat came out later in the
day and they released a statement that all Yannish jerseys
ordered and personalized onto Takoombo thirty four jerseys will be
fulfilled with the new number seven because they hadn't shipped
those out yet.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Bright could they keep the thirty fours though? No, no,
now I've got too far. Yes, yeah, you're not getting
double the jerseys. And then if fans purchased a Yanish
jersey in the team's store, they'll be able to exchange
it for the new number seven, but they have to
drive back down to the arena. Yeah, and you are
very covering gas then, And you know it's not cheap
(21:46):
to park at base side.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Well, and it's not easy to get to Bayside. I
mean I used to drive there every day, trust me.
I know.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
Listen, ways might tell you it's forty five minutes. It
could be three hours and forty five minutes. I mean
it could be on any given day, at any given moment.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
You know, as somebody who is very familiar with the
South Florida traffic patterns. Yes, the Miami Heat have to
do something to sweeten the pot to get me to
come back to the team store to exchange that jersey.
Because just saying I could come and replace the jersey, bright,
You're gonna have to jump through a couple more hoops.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
It might be easier just to put the plus on
on there. I gotta tell you, Yana should deliver these
jerseys to these people's houses. Wow, and I'm concerned. I
gotta be honest, Yana signs with the Heat. It makes
me feel like they're not communicating at all.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Because A I don't care what Math thought of that.
I like that. I mean, but Yanna should hand deliver
these jerseys.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
The people who bought thirty four should hand deliver a
number seven jersey. I am concerned that, you know, Riley Spoe, Yannis,
they're not communicating whatsoever. I mean, it's a big concern.
What do you think they're doing in Egypt right now?
By the way, like on sports radio and Cairo on
ninety five seven the Sphinx do you think they're doing?
Did Argentina win the game or did Egypt lose the game?
Speaker 4 (23:02):
That's a staple, and if I have to answer that question,
I know Messi is on the Argentina side, and when
Messi is on the pitch, he's always going to give
his team a chance to win. Yeah, but when you
can see three goals in a fourteen minute stretch of
game time, yep, you lost the game. The other team
(23:24):
did not win the game.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Yes, yes, you're right, No, the other team lost, Argentina
didn't win. But they move on, Taylor. I'm distracted here.
The tournament has started. You know why the tournament has started?
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Right?
Speaker 1 (23:37):
You see, like look on the driving range. He doesn't
know who this person is oh I do. I tell
him every year this tournament does not start. We're at
Lake Tahoe American Century Championships. Here, we're having a blast,
it's going to be a great week. But I've told
Taylor the tournament doesn't start until one man gets here.
And that man is a man who has played in
every single one of these tournaments.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
His name is Zack Wagner.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
He was a soap opera star back in the eighties
and ninety nineties General Hospital. He parlayed it into a
skate a singing career, and he parlayed all that until
lifetime invitation to the American Century Championships Lake Tahoe has begun.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Taylor, He's here. I mean, look at him.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
I feel like in terms of who the fans are
always excited to see. Yeah, the women love Jack Wagner.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
They did.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
What would you say his biggest song is I'm not
familiar with his singing.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
No idea, no idea.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
But the one year Abby came out here, the only
person she wanted to meet with Jack Wagner.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
Wow, oh yeah, yeah, and she did.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
I mean he spent fifteen to twenty minutes with her.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Starting to get concerned.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
I want to yo to him, what do you want
to yell? I don't know the tournament has officially begun.
Why don't you go up to a naskab? So did
Egypt Blues or Argentina win?
Speaker 4 (24:52):
So this is kind of rubbing off from Radio Row, yes,
where I don't really have a plan when I see
these celebrities, I just want to almost just cat call.
Like when I saw Joe Flackell walking by at Radio Row,
I yelled at him, nobody looks better than you right now, Joe, right,
He like started blushing, That's that's how taken back he was.
(25:12):
And then the other person I yelled at at Radio
Row was Fred Smoot, where I just yelled.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Smooth, yeah, my boy.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
And then Smoot, when he heard somebody yell's name, said
I must know who this person is talking. So what
happened when Smoot jumped up on the stage and started
making conversation with me? And then Smoot realized very quickly
and I realized very quickly we didn't have much after that.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Smoot, Yeah he went mute, Yeah, went mute. Smoot realized
pretty early on, like, hey, I don't know this guy.
I don't like, we have no history I don't know
who he is. Why am I spending any sort of
time with him?
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Right?
Speaker 4 (25:51):
Yes, that is exactly what happened.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
If you if you screamed to Jack Wagner, you look great.
You're the best looking guy in the driving range.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
Two things. One, he's the only guy in the driving
range right now.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Secondly, if everyone was on the driving range, he would respond,
I know.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
I can't tell. Is he doing an interview?
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Okay, then I don't want to scream mid interview.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Yeah, just to be courteous.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
You know, he had a great name, soap opera name
was Frisco Jones. Wow, it's a great imagine if your
quarterback was Frisco Jones.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
What was his soap opera?
Speaker 3 (26:22):
General Hospital? Days of our Lives? So both.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
No, I'm just staring at him, because that's what you
do out here in Tyhoe. You're close to the driving
range and you just stare at celebrities. You don't say
anything to him, You just talk about him, be on
their backs.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Are we still making soapropers?
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Are we still doing radio
