games that they that the NFL had last night, and
Fernando Mendoza was at the podium and they played a
couple of sound bites and I thought to myself, Wow,
this is He's very candid. He's going in depth. He's
giving us a look at what it's like to be

the first overall pick, in the struggles in the growing,
the growth spurts that he's going through. He's giving us
an inside line. And I said as much to Jason
Stewart on a text where it was this Mendoza postgame
is something kind of general because you could take it
both ways, because when Jason walked in today is your

thoughts on Mendoza's press conference last night? Jason Stewart was, I.

Just think that like brevity is the soul of wit,
That's the cliche he could, He could learn to be
a little bit more concise. He almost gives us too
much information, Like you're right, he's transparent and he's in
he can be interesting, but at some point he's going
to learn that he should probably stop talking at some point.

Yeah, it's all about the timing and trusting your feet
as coach, especially as coach Janoko and coach Sullivan say,
is at that point in time, I knew I was
able to identify the coverage and I knew the spot
in my leak was going to be and that was
a good timing and anticipation with the route.

It was fantastic protection.

It was a great fake by the running back, and
it was something that we've worked on in that time
and anticipation. However, there's other throws and other passes that
I made that did not have great time and anticipation
throughout the game, but that was one that was was
a good connection and it shows that there are some

see Kirk. Kirk is his time anticipation. Boom boom, boom.

I start I started to waver a little because it

love the space of this kitchen, but there's the bathroom
is small, and the master doesn't have a lot of
closet space. So you're going through your back and forth,
your positives and negatives. I've not had my fill as
of yet.

The consistency in each of the two answers has been

you say the positive, however, and he feels the need
to give the other side as opposed to being asked

I believe that confidence is always a big part in
how you play, especially whether you're an athlete, artist, performer
in everyday life. Confidence is a big aspect in your
eventual performance. And one of the sources of confidence is
prior experience. So I have leaned on that in the past. However,
you know, mister Brady was able to talk to our
team last night. Everybody he says, no matter how good

of a high score, college player you were. The NFL
is a different level, and I felt that tonight and
I have a lot to grow from.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
He's trying to be humble, he is, and I don't
know if if it's I mean it's it's working because
he's pointing out a lot of his flaws in a
certain way. But the Jason's point, now that's three straight
howevers again, just an update, Carrie has already reached his
Mendoza line. Isaac, Jason, Sam and myself still alive where

we have haven't had enough chapter four.
Speaker 8 (08:02):
Yeah, I would say they are what I thought they
would be. Was able, Especially as a quarterback. You don't
want to get too emotional because you want to be
able to process, make the right checks, make the right reads.
And I felt that it was. It was a good
emotion getting in the huddle with my guys in a sense,
being able to break through and finally play a snap

in the preseason, which is going to be faster than
you know practice, just how it is with adrenaline, and
then the regular season gets faster than that, and on
and on. So I think it was it was a
good experience in my five miles, okay, I mean over Yeah,
overall is good experiencing my feet.

Well, the reason why he heard you too, he sped
it up at the end. He was like, overall a
good experience, and we only are playing the answers.

We purposely left out the questions because we just wanted
him talking, and he's obviously speaking to a reporter. But
the reason why I ducked out was I realize what
he's doing. What are he doing then, is he is
trying to curry favor with each person who asked his
question by giving them a sizable chunk of information. And
because it's his first game and it's not a training camp,
he feels it's a bigger game, so you got to

be on your best behavior and give them what they
want or what you think that they want. And so
I think each person that has asked a question, he
feels that he needs to give them everything or a
substantial answer because he doesn't want to be looked at
it as a diva or a prima donna, a first

overall pick who wants everything. He wants to be a
member of this team. But he's also doing this with
the reporter. So at that point where I felt that's
what he's doing, that's when I cast it.
Speaker 6 (09:39):
And also, and this has been a consistency too. And
by the way, I don't want to be on record
of saying that I'm done. I'm just saying I have
issues with each answer and it's going to be a
problem moving forward. He feels the need to give examples.
Him just saying I feel a certain way isn't enough.
He thinks he needs to give examples. It's almost like

a teacher trying to instruct a class by giving you
tangible examples. He doesn't need to do that.

Yeah, the reporters should be savvy enough or been around
enough to know exactly what's going on as well.

so it's good to come back on the sideline learn

at the end. And then overall I felt that the
group that I was in with, you know, they they

blocked fantastic, They had great routes. The run game was good.
You know and unfortunately, like I let my teammates down today,
but it's I'm out.

I try, guys, I really tried. I worked with Steve
Hartman on the weekends. I was trying to strengthen that muscle.

to fourteen. That's also now it's like not everybody did

my routine that I've had and I Coach Sullivan, quarterback
coach says that your rou team evolves, and right now
the routine I have placed that I had in college.
But evidently if someone learning from Kirk Kirk's Kirk's routine
has evolved throughout his career, and so there's things I
look on taking, whether it's what to get her to

the stadium, for example, driving, I drove the same day
and that was all right, I'm the first I've ever
done that because using college.

I'm bad, my bad. We did it lovingly because it
was funny and it was it was it was actually great.
And there's a part of this answer if we can
hear just the rest of it, where he is weaving back,
then he jumps back on the freeway, then he exits
and takes the scenic crowd. Then he comes back on
like he's already done it so far in this clip

for thirty seconds, and this thing is like ninety seconds.

Let's let's hear the rest us It's very regimented.

So there's a lot more autonomy that you get as
an NFL player, a lot more flexibility, and I think
that's going to be beneficial in the future.

have team lunch, making sure I'm praying and meditating. I
do know whole prayer, and then I do a little
bit of a guided meditation to try to shoot my

Out of ten, I try to take it to around
a six eight of the game where I'm ready and firing,
because if I'm out of ten out of ten, then
I'm just going to be personal going crazy.

I have no idea. I don't. I don't unless he
thinks that it's going to impress. I think he is.

have done done your job as well today and you know,

and just different mechanics. So it was a good game.
My feet wet, kind of routine based and having some
elements that I've kept and the elements I say, okay,
I have this thirty minutes here. What should I do

When we play We get the first minute and I'm
going to play.

So whatever he's trying to get a cause, would you
say something to him as a player, Yes, I would

And I think Jason was kind of alluding to this
is all these things he's saying right now, these reporters
are going to remember this, and so as soon as
anything breaks down, are you are you not on your schedule?

It's going to be more questions that he has to
answer that. You know, the more information you give, the
more they have to come back come back at you,
at you with when things aren't going well. And so
that's the thing I would tell him right now, it's
just you know, get answered the question be sincere be
who you are. But yeah, you've just given way too
much information right now. Yeah, that was a lot great

game last night. I wish him nothing about the best.
Even after last night, though, care I still think maybe
he should start week one. Just yeah, Kirk Cousins is done.
Like this is like that ship has shaled. He wasn't
good in Atlanta. He never's coming back from that Achilles injury.

and Twins. Kyle Schwarber let off the game with a
home run and then a little bit later on in
the game.

He did this, Oh, this ball's cambric toward right field.

Back to the wall is keyshow He's at the wall
and he jumps home and.

What would have been a magnificent catching robbery thievery if
you will, instead ends up in the cornstalks. Phillies win
seven to one. Schwarber led off the game and it
was a beautiful sight. Left handed hitter just ropes one
into the cornfield as it's sitting there, not yet dusk,

but in the twilight of the sunset. It just was
a magnificent view. And the thing that I love most
about the Field of Dreams game is just how well
everything looks. The fence is transparent, so you can see
the corn stalks through it. There is no gap between

one or the other. It is truly of just there's
the corn. And I would love it if the corn
could actually be the fence like in the movie, but
we know that's not gonna happen. Otherwise you gonna have
twenty seven ground rule doubles. And it would be a mess.
But how they do the fence, how they did the scoreboard,
looking like an old style barn. I think the reason

why the catch wasn't made last night maybe because of
the color of the fence, because it tried to be
fashioned as like the old fashioned worn out wood looked
really really good. Though, like it is, it is appealing
to the eye. And that's what I love about it is.
It's just it's I don't want to say it's perfect,
but it's darn near perfect. And last night I.

I saw it on I told Jason before the show,
and I truly mean this. And this may be more
of an indictment on the American League. Field of Dreams
may be the best stadium in the American League. I'm
going to put a third behind Fenway and Camden Yards
just for longevity. But when you look at the ballparks
that you have in the AL, You've got the Dome
in Saint Pete, You've got the concrete Rogers Center for Toronto.
(20:28):
The A's right now are playing in Sacramento at a ballpark.
I think a lot of the great ballparks in the
National League. And this is by the way, today was
announced that the All Star Game in twenty twenty eight
is going to San Francisco, another popular ballpark. But it
is just beautiful in Dyersville, Iowa. And it's a reason
why they're going back next year. Red Sox and Royals

will be playing in that game. Kerry, I loved everything
about it. I want to get into the Hall of Famers.
I want to get into Roger Clemens. But just the
look of that field and how it's put off is
even better than what I could have imagined.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
Yeah, even for me. I mean I didn't get to
watch the game yesterday, but I did. I have seen
clips and seeing the ballpark and seeing how stunning stunning
it was. It was stunning. I think the I think
the only question I really have about it right now,
Dan is is the way you described it was so
picturesque and so beautiful and so perfect. You talked about
it right being at dusk and you know, and and

all the all the things that you added in your soliloquy.
Did it add up to the Iowa Sam pictures from yesterday,
That's what I mean.

That's a good question. Did it rival the capturing of
what I am captured. I like the different angles of it. Sam,
be honest, when you're when you're watching, when you're watching
the game and you've been there and you're from Iowa,
I mean like, is you just watched this leadoff home

run from from Schwarber, Like it's does it give you goosebumps?
Does it give you the chicken skin? Like? How do
you feel about that?
Speaker 9 (22:02):
I don't remember.

I think that the twenty twenty two game was kind
of overcast too, but I feel like, you know, the
weather earlier in the day yesterday was a little crappy,
there was rain going through, but the weather participate and
just to have sort of the puffy clouds and a
little bit of blue in the background to start the game,
and I mean it was just it made it even
more beautiful. So it was it was like my sister
who lives in Philadelphia, she was obviously watching. She grew

up in Iowa, and she was like, it's just looks stunning.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
Oh wow. I don't like how they have those other
fields on the other part of the cornfield, right like
kind of see it out yeah, off in the distance,
and that ruins some of a little bit to be
honest with you, Sea of Corn. And I also I
hate diamonds like that because the youth sports and everything
has become such a money grab So just when I
see that and I see them kind of trying to
creep in on the field of dreams, they.
Speaker 9 (22:47):
Want to capitalize on all this.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Yeah, yeah, it stinks.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
Now.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
When this whole idea was manufactured, I think there was
the thought of geez, could they play on the diamond
that is actually there? And that is that's not realistic.
You wouldn't and it would ruin the movie aesthetics because
you wouldn't be able to see the farmhouse dow the
first place baseline because you'd need you would need you know,
stands there.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
Is it even regulation like I mean, I don't think
it is.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
You can change it up and you could make it.
But what is great, especially about when a left handed
hitter hits a home run to the right field, is you
see the diamond and the farmhouse in the distance. And
I may I may be going too overboard for this,
And trust me, there were there were things to not
love about last night. But I may be waxing too poetically,

but I just love it. I embrace it. I love
how it's still once a year. I'm glad that it's
back after the hiatus and they're coming back next year.
We had the Twins playing here is the home team.
The Royals will be the home team next year. Previously
it was the first one who was Yankees White Sox.
Right then the Cubs and Cardinals play the.

Next year Cubs and does the point being is Dyersville,
Iowa is like an hour away from was So the
Brewers at some point have got to play in this
stinking game. If you're taking all the neighboring states of
Missouri or of Iowa like Missouri like Illinois and having
these teams play, then the Brewers, I would hope, at
some point would end up playing in this game, maybe
(24:16):
in twenty twenty eight. Even the old scoreboard, it's not
an old scoreboard, but it looks like it's an old
scoreboard in right field.

It just fits in carry. It is so well done,
and in spots where like the NBA is trying to
garner interest with the NBA Cup they're playing at hinklefield
House this December, maybe trying to lean in on some
of what Major League Baseball has been able to capture
here instead of doing it in Las Vegas.

I just I can't get enough of this. I'll tell
you one negative. The guy that inside that's changing that

Describe what Dan said earlier as a soliloquy. You know,
I hate to say it, but something like that, although

really well intentioned, it doesn't have. It didn't have the
effect on me that I think it was intended for.
Maybe because I'm just a heartless you know what. However,
these days I get a lot more emotion affected by
spontaneous things or things that i've or pre planned things,

the type of demonstrations that I haven't seen before.

Jason Stewart, you're nodding your head just makes you, guys,
a great couple exactly.

That's the very thing that I dislike about this entire thing.
And Fox Fox very much is guilty of this a lot.
We saw it at the Major League Baseball All Star
Game when they tried to like do the kids on
the bikes and do the sandlot thing. It's like you
reach a point where it's like this is just they're
trying too hard and they're the problem with this. And Carrie,

you're the exception. You've been able to make the transition
from an athlete to an actor. You obviously have an
acting knack. Most athletes don't, and they don't want to
be made to perform or to do anything inorganic. True,
everything seemed last night that it was like spoon fed,
please do this as opposed to just capturing what happens.

It's we need you to and once you start doing that,
you lose me badly.

I did not get the chicken skin and seeing the
Hall of famers, thought it was a nice touch. I
liked how some of them had their correct uniforms. Really
annoyed me that they couldn't get a nineteen eighty two
Brewers jersey for paum Malader, that they had to give
him a current one because when Roley Fingers came out,
he was wearing the old A's jersey. Harold Baines is
wearing the old White Sox jersey. That annoyed me. It

annoyed me that those players were holding their cell phones
when they walked out. So there's Larry Walker and Scott
Roland and others with their cell phone recording what they're seeing. Yeah,
like I understand, Like it's a different but then all
you all we are seeing when you're walking through the
corn is the stands. The view is us seeing them
(27:49):
appear from the corn. Yes, but they needed it for
their own cell phones to show three other people because
nobody else is going to see it.
Speaker 6 (27:56):
You are the subjects for people's cameras. You're not the
actual people that she's able to take cameras. And I
think to a point that you've made Dan like I don't.
I just don't remember. She was Joe and his teammates
bringing out the cell phones in the movie that was
made in nineteen eighty eight.

It was it was cut. I just didn't make the
make the final edit. The worst part was the manufactured
Roger Clemens Cody Clemens. G Oh my god, did you
see this? That Roger Clemens and Cody Clemens went on
the original diamond. But again, this was all predetermined, right

with cameras around. The great thing about the Field of
Dreams movie and the catch at the end is it's
just those two. Yeah, all of the players have gone.
No one else is around here. Everyone was around, people
were on the field. They didn't do it from home

play to the catcher's mound. They just kind of did
it from home plates to first base, and it was all,
you know, preconceived. Everything was set up. Roger Clemens said
the lines, and then they only threw the ball about
five or six times and then it was over. So
to me, that viral moment where bots online are saying

that they they were brought to tears or had goosebumps,
to me, I don't believe that because it's so so fake. Yeah.

See for me, I am and Jason brought up a
point where I am in production, right I am. I
do live that life, and so trying to recreate moments
for people now it's hard anyway. You're not going to
please everybody, and everybody's going to have their take about it,
So you try to nail it to the best that
you can do.

Do you guys think they nailed it the best they
could with it being a production?

last night?

No, no, no, that didn't Yeah that that that didn't
bother me. I loved all of it, like I was
most of it. I should say I didn't hate the
Hall of Famers coming out. I just didn't think it
was necessary. I didn't think that it was something that
caught the fans off guard, like the fans are there
to see this crazy game and score, you know, in

a cornfield right not to all of a sudden see
thirty Hall of Famers walk out of it. We knew
somebody was going to walk out of it. Yeah, and
then you're like, oh, okay, it's it's some living Hall
of Famers because it wasn't everyone right. You couldn't do
it one by one, and I don't know who you
would choose exactly, you know, otherwise you'd be there all day.
But I think by and large, I absolutely loved the event.

I just hated the fake stuff of the like the
Roger Clemens catch with his son, It just isn't isn't natural,
and people in the background with their with their cell phones,
and Roger Clemens is in a uniform like he's in
a Red Sox uniform.

I just think that there's so many things wrong with this.
For me, yeah, I know, I'm in the minority. Dan,
you mentioned the reaction on Twitter. Twitter is the most
negative cesspool ever and it was almost ninety nine percent
positive for this viral video.

I was shocked that there's not enough cynicism. Roger Clemens
was ostracized from the game. Roger Clemens is not a
Hall of Famer because he never admitted to doing the
things that he did. He is Netflix, I think is
out to piss me off because they've put Barry Bonds
on their broadcasts without ever having him answer the question, Hey, Barry,

how come you're not in the Hall of Fame? And
then when he says, because people think I did steroids, Well, Barry,
did you? So you didn't do steroids because no one's
ever asked you that question and you've never answered that question.
Same with Roger Clemens. Netflix makes him a subject in
this heartfelt thing right without like thinking like why has

Roger Clemens not been around? And as I guess, as
a production, why can't we like create a spout where
we ask him, Isaac, why do you?

that more. Even a cecil fielder and a prince fielder.

transition in Major League Baseball, I don't want to say
is fairly common, but this seems to be a lot
more of it, maybe because of more players and than

seen father son duo's play in the NBA. That's happened before,
but I feel like we've had generations after generations play

Wall, And to me, it was Roger Clemens in a way,
trying to cash in to help his persona in this element.

then I would actually have been taken more of it, like, oh, okay,
there is wearing his but it was a it was

a different uniform, and so to me it was even
just like, well this is really really contrived. How many
people you think turned that down. I don't think any
because I think it was probably their idea. Think it
was their idea. Yeah, I think it was their idea
to make this, Oh, let's make this a moment because
Cody Clemens is playing for the Twins, so I'm not
just off the top of my head, I can't think

of any other father son of those two teams playing,
but I'm sure it. It was just weird because people
are also walking in the background. If they would have filmed
it the night before, right and like presented it like
a special moment, like that's cool, that's fine, But I
think them trying to go viral with it in this
moment and him saying the lines. I don't know, maybe

I'm wrong, maybe it's it's too much, but it was
one of the just one of the few off things
to Sam if you're one of those the one, like
one or two of the things that I didn't love
from last night on a night that I actually really enjoyed.

guys know. So I probably would have been crying as well.
It was that was that that was the exception to

back the cheese? I mean, can you do it every

I don't think you need to have Hall of famers
walking out. I think like when Schwarmer hit the home
run and if you haven't seen it, just go search.
Look at how cool that shot is. Look at the

in Minneapolis a target field. They'll continue their series there.

So it's a one off sort of deal. You know.
There's when the NFL has been looking to expand to
maybe eighteen games and trying to think of different stuff,
and when even when they had spanned in the seventeen games,
it made an uneven schedule for home and away games, right,
And one of the things somebody said was how about
going to play at a college stadium for like the
seventeenth game, And it's an awful idea. Teams of that,

like the Saints had to do that when they had
to relocate from Katrina. They had to play in Baton Rouge,
you know, at the at LSU Stadium. There was some
talk that Jacksonville was maybe going to play some games
in the swamp in Gainesville. Those games don't draw because
it's just it's not the same. People aren't like, oh,
I gotta go see you know, Saints Buccaneers at you know,

in Baton Rouge. It's not the same. Those things don't work.
This does. This is also not allowing you to have
forty thousand people. How many people are there two thousand,
seven thousand, seven thousand there? It was seven thousand men.

the growth spurts that he's going through. He's giving us
an inside line. And I said as much to Jason

team last night. Everybody he says, no matter how good

is a different level, and I felt that tonight and

want to get too emotional because you want to be

in the preseason, which is going to be faster than
you know practice, just how it is with adrenaline, and

trying to curry favor with each person who asked his

he feels it's a bigger game, so you got to

want or what you think that they want. And so
I think each person that has asked a question, he
feels that he needs to give them everything or a
substantial answer because he doesn't want to be looked at
it as a diva or a prima donna, a first

member of this team. But he's also doing this with
the reporter. So at that point where I felt that's
what he's doing, that's when I cast it.

And also, and this has been a consistency too. And
by the way, I don't want to be on record
of saying that I'm done. I'm just saying I have
issues with each answer and it's going to be a
problem moving forward. He feels the need to give examples.
Him just saying I feel a certain way isn't enough.

a teacher trying to instruct a class by giving you

that's the thing I would tell him right now, it's

but in the twilight of the sunset. It just was
a magnificent view. And the thing that I love most
about the Field of Dreams game is just how well
everything looks. The fence is transparent, so you can see
the corn stalks through it. There is no gap between

one or the other. It is truly of just there's
the corn. And I would love it if the corn
could actually be the fence like in the movie, but
we know that's not gonna happen. Otherwise you gonna have
twenty seven ground rule doubles. And it would be a mess.
But how they do the fence, how they did the scoreboard,
looking like an old style barn. I think the reason

why the catch wasn't made last night maybe because of
the color of the fence, because it tried to be
fashioned as like the old fashioned worn out wood looked
really really good. Though, like it is, it is appealing
to the eye. And that's what I love about it is.

I saw it on I told Jason before the show,
and I truly mean this. And this may be more
of an indictment on the American League. Field of Dreams
may be the best stadium in the American League. I'm

just for longevity. But when you look at the ballparks
that you have in the AL, You've got the Dome
in Saint Pete, You've got the concrete Rogers Center for Toronto.

The A's right now are playing in Sacramento at a ballpark.
I think a lot of the great ballparks in the
National League. And this is by the way, today was
announced that the All Star Game in twenty twenty eight
is going to San Francisco, another popular ballpark. But it
is just beautiful in Dyersville, Iowa. And it's a reason
why they're going back next year. Red Sox and Royals

will be playing in that game. Kerry, I loved everything
about it. I want to get into the Hall of Famers.
I want to get into Roger Clemens. But just the
look of that field and how it's put off is
even better than what I could have imagined.

I think that the twenty twenty two game was kind
of overcast too, but I feel like, you know, the
weather earlier in the day yesterday was a little crappy,
there was rain going through, but the weather participate and

and I mean it was just it made it even
more beautiful. So it was it was like my sister
who lives in Philadelphia, she was obviously watching. She grew

up in Iowa, and she was like, it's just looks stunning.

Oh wow. I don't like how they have those other
fields on the other part of the cornfield, right like
kind of see it out yeah, off in the distance,
and that ruins some of a little bit to be
honest with you, Sea of Corn. And I also I
hate diamonds like that because the youth sports and everything
has become such a money grab So just when I
see that and I see them kind of trying to
creep in on the field of dreams, they.

Want to capitalize on all this.

Yeah, yeah, it stinks.

When this whole idea was manufactured, I think there was
the thought of geez, could they play on the diamond
that is actually there? And that is that's not realistic.
You wouldn't and it would ruin the movie aesthetics because
you wouldn't be able to see the farmhouse dow the
first place baseline because you'd need you would need you know,
stands there.

Is it even regulation like I mean, I don't think
it is.

You can change it up and you could make it.
But what is great, especially about when a left handed
hitter hits a home run to the right field, is you
see the diamond and the farmhouse in the distance. And

but I just love it. I embrace it. I love
how it's still once a year. I'm glad that it's

it was the first one who was Yankees White Sox.

Next year Cubs and does the point being is Dyersville,
Iowa is like an hour away from was So the
Brewers at some point have got to play in this
stinking game. If you're taking all the neighboring states of
Missouri or of Iowa like Missouri like Illinois and having
these teams play, then the Brewers, I would hope, at
some point would end up playing in this game, maybe

in twenty twenty eight. Even the old scoreboard, it's not
an old scoreboard, but it looks like it's an old
scoreboard in right field.

It just fits in carry. It is so well done,
and in spots where like the NBA is trying to
garner interest with the NBA Cup they're playing at hinklefield
House this December, maybe trying to lean in on some
of what Major League Baseball has been able to capture
here instead of doing it in Las Vegas.

I just I can't get enough of this. I'll tell
you one negative. The guy that inside that's changing that

effect on me that I think it was intended for.
Maybe because I'm just a heartless you know what. However,
these days I get a lot more emotion affected by
spontaneous things or things that i've or pre planned things,

That's the very thing that I dislike about this entire thing.

the bikes and do the sandlot thing. It's like you

trying too hard and they're the problem with this. And Carrie,

you're the exception. You've been able to make the transition
from an athlete to an actor. You obviously have an
acting knack. Most athletes don't, and they don't want to
be made to perform or to do anything inorganic. True,
everything seemed last night that it was like spoon fed,
please do this as opposed to just capturing what happens.

you lose me badly.

I did not get the chicken skin and seeing the
Hall of famers, thought it was a nice touch. I
liked how some of them had their correct uniforms. Really
annoyed me that they couldn't get a nineteen eighty two
Brewers jersey for paum Malader, that they had to give
him a current one because when Roley Fingers came out,
he was wearing the old A's jersey. Harold Baines is
wearing the old White Sox jersey. That annoyed me. It

annoyed me that those players were holding their cell phones
when they walked out. So there's Larry Walker and Scott
Roland and others with their cell phone recording what they're seeing. Yeah,
like I understand, Like it's a different but then all
you all we are seeing when you're walking through the
corn is the stands. The view is us seeing them

appear from the corn. Yes, but they needed it for
their own cell phones to show three other people because
nobody else is going to see it.

You are the subjects for people's cameras. You're not the
actual people that she's able to take cameras. And I
think to a point that you've made Dan like I don't.

bringing out the cell phones in the movie that was

Dreams movie and the catch at the end is it's

it from home plates to first base, and it was all,
you know, preconceived. Everything was set up. Roger Clemens said

thirty Hall of Famers walk out of it. We knew

then you're like, oh, okay, it's it's some living Hall
of Famers because it wasn't everyone right. You couldn't do
it one by one, and I don't know who you
would choose exactly, you know, otherwise you'd be there all day.
But I think by and large, I absolutely loved the event.

I just hated the fake stuff of the like the
Roger Clemens catch with his son, It just isn't isn't natural,
and people in the background with their with their cell phones,
and Roger Clemens is in a uniform like he's in
a Red Sox uniform.

I just think that there's so many things wrong with this.
For me, yeah, I know, I'm in the minority. Dan,
you mentioned the reaction on Twitter. Twitter is the most
negative cesspool ever and it was almost ninety nine percent
positive for this viral video.

I was shocked that there's not enough cynicism. Roger Clemens
was ostracized from the game. Roger Clemens is not a
Hall of Famer because he never admitted to doing the
things that he did. He is Netflix, I think is
out to piss me off because they've put Barry Bonds
on their broadcasts without ever having him answer the question, Hey, Barry,

how come you're not in the Hall of Fame? And
then when he says, because people think I did steroids, Well, Barry,
did you? So you didn't do steroids because no one's
ever asked you that question and you've never answered that question.
Same with Roger Clemens. Netflix makes him a subject in
this heartfelt thing right without like thinking like why has

Roger Clemens not been around? And as I guess, as
a production, why can't we like create a spout where
we ask him, Isaac, why do you?

that more. Even a cecil fielder and a prince fielder.

transition in Major League Baseball, I don't want to say

more of it, maybe because of more players and than

seen father son duo's play in the NBA. That's happened before,
but I feel like we've had generations after generations play

are also walking in the background. If they would have filmed
it the night before, right and like presented it like
a special moment, like that's cool, that's fine, But I
think them trying to go viral with it in this

one of the just one of the few off things
to Sam if you're one of those the one, like
one or two of the things that I didn't love
from last night on a night that I actually really enjoyed.

seventeenth game, And it's an awful idea. Teams of that,

like the Saints had to do that when they had
to relocate from Katrina. They had to play in Baton Rouge,
you know, at the at LSU Stadium. There was some
talk that Jacksonville was maybe going to play some games
in the swamp in Gainesville. Those games don't draw because
it's just it's not the same. People aren't like, oh,
I gotta go see you know, Saints Buccaneers at you know,

in Baton Rouge. It's not the same. Those things don't work.
This does. This is also not allowing you to have
forty thousand people. How many people are there two thousand,
