Speaker 2 (00:24):
This is the best of the Ben Maler Show on
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
So usually in years past, this year different in other
years because typically you come in here on a late
Sunday night early Monday morning as we kick off the
new week of programming here at Fox Sports Radio, and
typically you got some big NBA game and the finals
to talk about, but not on this night. So we

(00:52):
do start in Gotham where there was nothing bumpkus in
the Big Apple. The NBA to deciding not to play
on Sunday night, leaving Major League Baseball to have the
stage to themselves. They had a Cubs Giants game. We uh,
that was it. That was the only game in town

(01:14):
on Sunday night. There was no hockey. Eat. I would
have started with hockey if they'd played the Stanley Cup.
There was no hockey. The Hurricanes and Golden Knights. They
don't play until Tuesday, after that ridonculous game the other night.
So who goofed? I've got to know if we didn't
have games to analyze. Regardless of that, we do have
the words. We love to parse the words and we

(01:36):
can break those down. So San Antonio, who you talk about?
Who goofed? I've got to know? The Spurs outscored eleven.
Nothing you talk about. Chulkin Nicks aren't the better team.
The Spurs are giving these games away. I mean, my god,
it's obvious. And open your eyes now. The next it's
great that they're winning, congratulations, but they the San Antonio

(01:56):
Spurs gagged eleven straight points to close Game one. They allow,
and then in game two, Wemby said, here take the game.
I would like you to have the game tie game.
He throws the ball into the back of one of
his teammates, giving a and then the foul. So Brunson
gets a foul shot, and then Wemby had a wide

(02:18):
open jump shot. In fact, if you put him in
an empty gymnasium, he would not have been more wide
open than he was for the game winning shot. And
everyone would have jumped on top of him and they
would have licked his toes and clankny klank. He blew it.
So that's the backdrop. Now, Victor Wembayama is not shying

(02:38):
away from the embarrassment that has been his performance. Even
though he's got stats and all you stat efforts love that.
The reality is he's not good. He's not as advertised.
That's the reality. At this point. The spotlights on him
and he's over too over to. The Spurs have lost
both games at home, and they have to hope that

(03:00):
the Knicks realize they're the Knicks and start gagging in
front of all those celebrities. That'll be out all right.
So that's the setup. Right after missing the game winning
shot in game number two, a one point loss at home.
He's twenty two years old. Now he claims he's unfazed
by this. Did you hear any of this? I don't

(03:22):
know if you heard any of this or not. So he's, ah,
I'm not worried about this. So he was asked about,
obviously the situation, the mathematics of it, the Spurs in
a pretty tough spot to win the series, and he said, quote,
there's really no reason to overthink it. This is what
I'm built for. He said, all right, that's what we

(03:42):
call the money quote, and so we'll play off that quote.
And it's good jumping off points. So let us discuss
the question as I just laid out. Spurs star Victor
wemb Manyama says he was built for the pressure of
the NBA Finals. Down down two games here to the next.

(04:03):
You agree with him to you agree with Victor Wimanyama.
So I've got hercules, bed and breakfast and moon landing,
and we will combine all of these things together and
we are going to make a ripoff version of a
Chick fil a sandwich. That's what we're gonna make, right So, ah, listen,

(04:25):
the NBA marketing people get paid a lot of money,
and they sold us Greek God. That's what they sold us,
Greek God. They told every man, woman and child that
Victor Wamanyama is just different, genetically engineered for greatness. That
was the selling point, and I bought it. I totally

(04:46):
bought it, and it looked like we were going in
that direction. However, right now, in this moment in the
NBA Finals and everything you've done in the past, who
cares is what you do. Right now, you look at
this and when down two games and directly involved in
both games, there were stretches in both games where he
just didn't shoot and wasn't aggressive and just was lazy

(05:09):
and all of that. And you look at the way
this thing has gone right now, and we have to
worry about today's show. Who knows what the future is,
but right now that performance by Wemby has not been
the stuff of legends. This is not the myth making machine,
Victor wemb Yama. You know, you look at it, You're like, well,
it's it's like Hercules, the high school musical version of Hercules.

(05:34):
What happened after you choke away game number two with
that brutal turnover? And as I said that wide open,
look now, I would have made that ten out of
ten times. Moneyball Mallard makes that shot ten out of
ten times. Wemby does not. That's the difference, okay. And
so he then has the audacity to come out and

(05:56):
say WHA's like, well, I'm built for this? Really? Is
that right, Victor? You're built for this? So you're talking
to talk, you gotta walk the walk. See that's the problem.
You're not walking the walk, unless blowing shots at the
end of games is walking the walk there. And if
you are walking the walk, you've got a limp at

(06:17):
this particular point. So that's the reality of the situation.
And so Wenby's saying that he's built for the pressure.
And those first two games, I didn't see it, did
you see it? I didn't see it. I saw a
guy that looked like the scientist forgot to close the
chamber door and whatever experience, you know, experiment they were doing,

(06:40):
it just didn't work. It did not work. So to
get outscored eleven nothing, to close out game one at
home in the finals, embarrassing, criminally embarrassing for the Spurs.
And that's his franchise. That's Wemby's franchise. It's a joke,
absolute joke. And so it looks like the scientists they
miss lay something, the weird scientists that put this guy together.

(07:03):
And my god, the mythology says, this is an unstoppable
force for the NBA. And right now as we talk
in this mall meet, the finals have revealed the guy
that's waiting for his superpowers to download. And the WiFi
is a little spotty. It's not downloaded. What's up with that?

(07:24):
All right? Now, keeping the theme going here page two.
So the the other question is how much damage has
Victor Wombanyama of the Spurs done to his brand? First
two games of the finals. And again, this was supposed
to be all about him. This is the legend of Wemby,
next big thing, take the baton and Lebron's washed up

(07:47):
at this point, so he'll be the guy officially, and
this is it. And here we go. He's in the finals,
and you know, Lucas too fat and hurt all time,
So this is now Wemby. This is his team or
his league. So so far completely hornswoggle in terms of
the question how much damage has he done? Some serious

(08:07):
skullduggery going on right now. And this is the final,
supposedly it's the finals. Game one, empty calaries. Again, the
stats are there, statistic you look at the box scor
if you don't know basketball, you're like, oh, he's playing fine.
Why are you being such a hater? Yeah, and then
to hand the knicks, the w just throwing the ball away.

(08:27):
Bad situational awareness by Wemby in game two, and then
the foul and then the missed wide open shot. It's
like an Uber Eats contact free delivery to the Knicks
to give them that game, and that's the guy. So
it's like it does feel like a live action MythBusters
and the myth is being busted here for when by Yama,

(08:49):
that's certainly what it feels like here two games in,
and certainly you can check the undercarriage of the myth
making machine here. There's some some fluid leaking. Sure what
that is. It looks a little green. You might want
to check that out. And didn't just lay an egg
in the big moments here. He opened up his own
bed and breakfast and he's got a full omelet bar,

(09:13):
a lot of omelets. You get an omelet, you get
an omelet, You get an omelet, you get an omelet.
It's the old Southwest Airlines want to get away situation
for one by now I'm at this point, he's seven
foot four, seven foot five, whatever he is, he's pretty tall,
and man, he a lot of times just kind of
zones out and then there's stretches where he wants to

(09:36):
be Steph Curry, which is great. He's seven foot four,
seven foot five. Why are you trying to play like
Steph Curry like it just it's just ridiculous, is what
it is. I remember the old days talking about coaches
when this became a thing where the guys started shooting
jump shots as well. You're that tall. If you if
Steph Curry was seven foot five or whatever, you'd have

(09:58):
him play on anything the basket or at least around
the basket. Everyone wants to shoot jump shots, just like
everyone wants to talk radio. These podcasts are just rip
off radio shows. Everyone loves radio, just like in basketball.
It's all hey, listen, that's want to shoot jump shots.
That's all they want to do. The thing that kills
me is those cat naps that Wimby takes though. That

(10:18):
drives me nuts. He's got a lot of Karl Anthony
Towns in him, doesn't he, And he's getting out played
by Carl Anthony Towns. That's the amazing nuts. It's absolutely
bizarre world. That's why they play the games. It just
seems like there's stretches. Sometimes it's the first quarter, occasually
it's the second, sometimes the third late in games where

(10:40):
he just he just falls into this space out situation
when Byama Yama where he's like daydreaming for chunks of
time in the game and you're like, what are you doing, dude?
Like what is that? And so again, I mean, the
NBA has sold you on this guy being a blue
chip stock, and I get it. And right now, at

(11:00):
this moment, two games into the finals, he's trading like
one of those cheap pump and dump meme coins, you
know what I'm talking about. Yeah, Now, the good news
is Wenby still has time to rewrite this. And he's
got the pen in his hand. He's got a pad
of paper, and he can rewrite the story. He can
change the ending from oh my god, what happened to

(11:22):
this guy? To wait a minute, Wait a minute, Now
I think we got something like this is gonna be
Oh the Knicks put two to nothing lead. They both
won both games on the road in San Antonio, and
when by Nyama willed them to come back, he's got
that ability to do it. I haven't seen it though consistently,
not in the first two games of the NBA Finals.
Now the last word here, the very last word. We

(11:45):
now go to the trauma heading into the game Monday
night here in midtown Manhattan, right over Penn Station. So
the Knicks announced they are implementing enhanced security measures for
Game three of the NBA Finals at the Garden because
of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, will

(12:06):
be in attendance. And this has created quite the hullaballoo
and people very upset, complaining, just bitching non stop. It's oh,
it's all we gotta go through extra medal detectors. Oh
my od. A freaking out right strict no bag policy
TSA style screening at the at the arena there and

(12:32):
for everyone entering the arena, and everyone's being asked to
bring as little as possible. Just show up in your
underwear and you wear your under rus your Nick's under rused,
you'll be good to go on that, and they say
you got to get there two hours early, which does
sound like a pin the ass. There's also no storage,
so if you bring stuff, you know as you leave

(12:52):
it out in the street and hope somebody doesn't take it.
Good luck on that. So if you bring prohibited items,
you're you're cooked. There's also no watch party outside Madison
Square Garden, so the freeloaders can't stand out there and
try to get on TV and go crazy and all that.
That's not available. The Secret Service and the NYPD, the

(13:13):
New York Police Department teaming up on that watch parties
will rezoom for game four because President Trump will not
be there. So we have that for game four. And
they have moved the watch parties far away from Madison
squ Square Garden. There's one at Central Park and one
over in Brooklyn. I think we'll send I'll send our
guy Marcel over there. Of course he doesn't leave his home,

(13:36):
but we'll send him as our boots on the ground
for the watch party in Brooklyn. So this is outraged.
Of course, some of the wokesters very upset. It's not
fair complaining, all right. So that's a good jumping off point.
Let us discuss question. Are the MSG slash Secret Service

(13:56):
slash NYPD security measures for President Trump for Game three
of the Finals? Are they unreasonable? Are they unreasonable? Is
the question? All right? So the answer is it's only
one answer, absolutely not. Like I don't even know why
this is the thing. Like you people just love to

(14:17):
find stuff to bitch about. That's what you do. You
just find things to complain about. And I get it.
I do the same thing. But this is this, At
least I find legitimate things to complain about. You find
dumb things to complain about, like ridiculously stupid things to
complain about, like this, he's the first sitting president I understand,
to be at a finals game. So of course the
Secret Service is going to treat this Madison Court garden

(14:40):
like it's the moon landing, all right, so you know that.
And sometimes I said, wow, this is overkilled. This is
not overkill.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
It's not.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
It's it's the price of having the President of the
United States at the arena. Uh. And if the unhinged
fringe amongst the US would stop trying to shoot the president,
like like it's a video game or something new idiots,
then maybe everyone could just get to their seats faster.

(15:10):
It seems pretty legitimate to me considering how many times
these these whack jobs have tried to do stuff to
the president, Like wouldn't you think that you would have
enhanced security at an arena like that? So, I mean,
I don't understand. This is one of those things I
might miss a lot of dumb people. There's a lot
of dumb people out there, and so the Nixon Spurs

(15:30):
are out there, they'll be battling on the court. The
real lockdown is going to be off the court. And
if the the Knickerbockers game, if they go out there
and play the game and they win and crowded go crazy,
and they'll be be nuts. I'm sure the President Trump's
not gonna stay for the whole game. He usually leaves early.
And that's that. But as far as the whole matchup,

(15:52):
it's it's gonna be the world's most secure perimeter, or
at least it's supposed to be anywhere. And is it
inc Yeah, it's absolutely in convenient. However, hosting the most
protected human being on Earth means that standard operation is
not standard operation. Throw away the normal protocols, the normal

(16:13):
playbook goes out the window. And besides the Nixt, if
you look at the Nicks and the way this has
gone here, they have not had this much protection since
they got rid of the hand checking back and many
years ago in the NBA.

Subscribe, hit that thumbs up icon and comment away our

the hits, all right, We'll play the hits. We're gonna
play the hits. What a story. This is what a
gift content hand delivered from one of the great malcontents
in the NFL dateline social media where wide receiver Brandon

(17:24):
Auk Yep, that guy got paid and forgot how to play.
Brandon Aok is public feud with the forty nine ers escalating,
which is always good talk radio, the building blocks of
good talk radio, a standoff at the spoiled athlete corral.
And that's what we have here, Soul. Let me give

(17:47):
you the brief thumbnail recap, and then we'll start attacking
here in a cryptic video on the gram over the weekend,
Brandon Iuk wearing a Washington commander's hat. Mind you, he plays,
not that he's played in a while, but he's property
of the forty nine ers. And he was wearing that
ugly commander's hat. And he compared himself to a toy,

(18:10):
compared himself to a toy that the forty nine ers
don't know how to use properly. Of course, the Niners
have washed their hands with him, they just haven't gotten
rid of him now, he suggested the wide receiver Brandon
Ayuck suggested another team would make better use of him
and directly called out the Niners as scared. Yeah, they're

(18:33):
scared to let him go, according to the player, and
that is a good jumping off point. Let us discuss
the question is rather simple. What is forty nine Ers
wide receiver Brandon Ayuck actually hoping to accomplish with his

(18:54):
latest social media rant? All right, so on this one,
we've got legos, brisket and Margarita's and we'll combine all
of these things together and we'll go ABC and one,
two three. You always start though a number on what

(19:14):
number one? What number one? What number one? So it's
it's simple. This one's not that hard. It's an Okham's
razor situation. The simplest answer is the right answer here.
He is getting frustrated. The player is frustrated. He is annoyed.
The NFL season begins in ninety four days or so,

(19:38):
give or take. Training camp begins in about a month
and alf and a couple of days. So we're getting closer,
and he is stuck at Loggerheads Brandon Ayuk with the
forty nine ers here, and so he's trying to expedite
his departure. He wants an on time departure from the

(19:59):
forty nine ers here. And it's like he's a guy
passionately banging the closed door button on the elevator. You know,
he's like, I closed, the door will not close. I
want to close the door on the niners that you
kept hitting the button. You know, the same thing at
the cross rock if you're ever wading around in a

(20:20):
city and you hit the crosswalk button. I remember there
was a story a few years back that said those
buttons don't do anything, that it's a waste of time
in most cities, that they don't activate anything. That the
signals are all programmed to be on a certain time,
and it doesn't matter how many times he hit that.
I don't know about the elevator. I think the elevator
things legit. Anyway, this is not a football story at

(20:41):
this point. The reason it's not a football story is
because Brandon IoK's not a football player. He's a former
football player who hasn't played in a long time. This
has become a daytime talk show from back when they
used to have good daytime talk shows back in the day.
Except they're wearing shoulder pads, although he's not even knowing
that because that would mean brand and IoK's after playing
and we know he's not doing that. Of course, there's

(21:03):
also the active arrest warrant for speed racing around the
forty nine Ers stadium and then making sure to record
it in four D so everyone could see it and
all that. So calling himself a toy is kind of
an interesting position to take, and I'd like to expand
on that. The Niners, I'm pretty sure, stopped playing with

(21:25):
him as the toy a couple of Christmas as a go.
So it's been a minute. It's been a minute here,
and Brandon Iok, he's not really negotiating. We're past the
point of negotiation here, he's at this point having a
temper tantrum, throwing his legos off the wall, hoping they
bounce over and then John Lynch and Shanahan will step

(21:48):
on them with their bare feet. That's what he's hoping
happens here. And he's been ghosting. By all accounts, Brandon
IOK has been ghosting the big shots in San Francisco
so long?

Speaker 2 (22:00):
How long?

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Thanks for asking? So long? That this is like the
NFL's version. It's like changing the relationship status to It's
complicated at this particular point, it's complicated. The Commander's remain
the overwhelming favorite to acquire the services of Brandon Iuck
from the forty nine ers. He played college ball with

(22:22):
Jaden Daniels, who was at Arizona State with the Sun
Devils and Tim b where all the beautiful people are
before going off to baton rouge. They're not ugly, they're
either and Washington. If you look at their depth chart,
there's not a lot there. They need a wide receiver too,
right next to Terry McLaurin, So they need a guy
to slot in there. And John Lynch already made it clear,

(22:45):
already made it clear that IUC has played his last
snap in the Bay Area and this is just the
world's slowest breakup. I love the fact that he went
on I assume NFL shop dot com ioke to buy
a hat or did Jayden Daniels give that hat? You
think that was like a freebe he got from Jayden Daniels.
He didn't actually go and buy it himself. It's possible

(23:06):
now page two. Keeping the good times rolling on here,
all right? So the other question I had is why
are the forty nine ers. Why are the forty nine
ers here holding tightly to Brandon Iyok? Why are they
holding on to this guy when he don't want to
be there. He hasn't played in a long time, and

(23:27):
he's now going around wearing merch from other NFL teams
while he is technically property of the forty nine ers.
So they're calling it the Niners have let their beat
guys know. Whether it's a salary cap situation, it's all
because of the cap. Remember the salary cap is the
ultimate excuse for anything that you do. You blame it
on the cap. It's all I we'd love to have

(23:49):
done that, but it's the cap. And that's what's coming
to Major League Baseball? You people that love your little
salary caps. When your team doesn't acquire someone, they're gonna
say it's because of the cap, just like NFL teams do.
And in the end, NFL it's bullshoy, is what it is.
In the NFL, it's always the cap, cap, cap cap.
The cap is crap, The cap is crap, The cap
is crap. The cap is crap. That's the cap. So

(24:11):
in any other industry, in any other industry, at this point,
you'd call it hr waiting for the paperwork to clear.
The Niners are like, well, no, it's the cap. And
he remains on the reserve left squad list, which is
apparently a thing Brandon Auk reserved left squad list, we

(24:31):
are told, meaning the forty nine ers are not paying him,
so he's not getting the salary. He's stuck on the
natty list. Auk is on the knotty list there with
the Ford now is more importantly a gigantic chunk of
that one hundred and twenty million dollar contract that he
signed a couple years ago. The extension he signed back

(24:52):
in twenty twenty four, continues to pro rate against the
salary cap as long as he's on the roster. So
there's some legal gymnastics are not legal mathematical gymnastics that
you have to jump through. We have Malard math. So
we're good on that. Now. That said, really they're just
keeping I believe this is the Malard conspiracy theory the Illuminati.

(25:15):
The Illuminati tells me they're keeping him to send a message.
And you rattle the snake, you get stung. That's the message.
You rattle the snake, you get stung, and I rattle it.
And John Lynch is happily holding the anti venom, saying,
ha ha, I've got the anti venom. You don't. So

(25:39):
this is a warning shot, and they're trying to make
an example out of Brandon. Iok to forty nine ers
that hey, listen down the line, maybe two years, three years,
five years, ten years, there'll be another player that comes
along that's in a similar situation, that signs a contract
and then they decide they don't want to play, and
they cause all these problems and all that stuff, And

(26:01):
so they're sending the message like listen, don't mess with us.
The message is rather simple, and so John Lynch is
slow cooking this thing this release or trade. Like a brisket.
You know, you gotta put a brisket in the oven,
a nice Sunday brisket, But you got to put that
in there a couple days before. Make that slow cook

(26:21):
for hours and hours and hours and hours, low heat.
All right, long, wait there, put some potatoes around that thing,
little garlic and maximum tenderness, chef's kiss. So that's for
the forty nine ers, of course, not for the player.
And my theory has been the Niners are gonna wait
to the very last minute. They're gonna see if he

(26:42):
shows up or not the training camp, and then if
he shows up, at that point, they'll say, turn out,
the lasts, the parties over, get out of here, all right.
And then they're gonna wait. And the reason you wait
is you want to stick it to the player. So
everyone will have spent their allotted money. There won't be
much money left on the market for the player to

(27:03):
get and he'll be paid peanuts. Now he could end
up in Washington, he'll he'll just not get much money.
And the Niners are playing this to their absolute advantage,
as you would expect, because they feel like they were
screwed over by the employee, and they'll do something at
the very last second. That's how they should play this.
We'll see if I'm right. It'll be interesting to see

(27:25):
if he does actually report and how they handle that
at that point. Now, final point, we go to the Bahamas,
the Bahama, Mama we Go and Fox sideline reporter Aaron
Andrews is catching some serious flack. What did Aaron Andrews do?

(27:46):
The Fox sideline reporter, Well, she posted some vacation photos
which wouldn't have been a problem if she wasn't on
a vacation with Matthew Stafford, the Rams quarterback and his family.
Huh say what? Yes Andrews along with Kelly Stafford, that
annoying podcast woman Matthew Stafford. Now we should also point

(28:07):
out Aaron Andrews husband was there as well, that old
hockey guy that was washed up. Who else Carrissa Thompson
who also works does TV and they were all vacationing
apparently together in the Bahamas, the Baker's Bay area if
you're familiar with the Bahamas. And now photos have been
bouncing around from the boat trip there in the Bahamas

(28:30):
showing the group together, smiling, having a great time. Andrews
even shared one of the photos on her Instagram page,
and the critics, of course, have attacked the journalistic ethics
of a NFL sideline reporter vacationing in the Bahamas alongside
a starting quarterback, the most valuable player in the NFL.

(28:51):
So the question should should an NFL sideline reporter like
Aaron Andrews, who seemingly covers the NFL. I'll be vacationing
with the MVP of the NFL, Rams, quarterback Matthew Stafford
and his fam all late, all right, so everyone involves.

(29:12):
My part of the story that I'm fashionated by is
the people involved in this, all the actors in this
little play, seem genuinely shocked that anyone would dare question
this activity. To me, that's the root of the problem.
Like they don't seem to understand, like this doesn't seem
to look very good. They don't have a problem with it.

(29:34):
That's the thing. They don't seem to have an issue
with it. And of course the reason is they're not.
Aaron Andrews is not a journalist. None of these people
are journalists that work in the NFL. They're not I
and they don't see this as an issue because they're like,
what's the problem. We're just all friends here, and how
do you of course, the obviously, if you were to

(29:55):
objectively cover like Matthew Stafford right, a terrible couple of
game during the season, whatever happens, then okay, you can't
cover him. If you're sipping margaritis with him on a boat.
It's very difficult when your buddy buddy. Of course, you
don't have objectivity. If that is the case here, and

(30:18):
if you're vacationing with the people who you supposedly cover,
you're not reporting on the NFL, you're participating in the NFL.
There is a slight difference there. And this, of course
is how they make the sausage. You're not supposed to
see how they make the sausage. The lines get blurred.
Ask Diana Russini about that. They often get erased. And

(30:38):
it's all one big buddy buddy, country club, family, friends
and football retreats where they all hang out together. And
if you want to know who the mark is, look
in the mirror. You're the mark. If you think otherwise,
you are the absolute mark. Imagine back in the day,
I remember when I was a kid, I heard stories about.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
The old days and journalism, how they covered the reporters.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
It was a very serious job. Imagine like if Walter Cronkite,
considered the greatest TV Guide reporter of his generation, if
he was like sunbathing ends with Richard Nixon. They were
putting sun tan on each other's backs like they would be.
I understand, it's not the White House, it's just football.
I get it. I understand. However, that's what we are now,

(31:25):
all right, that's where we are now, and the NFL
at one point there was some of that. You know.
Now everyone's in bed with everyone else and so it's
just like a nice trip to the theme park. The
NFL and the reporters are just cast members. That's what
they are, and you have to accept it because that's
the reality of the situation. And if anything really negative

(31:48):
comes out, they just ignore it. For example, Diana Russini,
that story seemingly problematic to the integrity of the NFL media,
and the NFL media world didn't have a comment because
they didn't know. This goes on apparently all the time.
Everyone's in bed with everyone else or on boats in
the Bahamas having a great time. So there you go.

(32:09):
It's the NFL's version of pro wrestling, and you get
a backstage pass, and you get a backstage pass, and
you get a backstage pass.

Speaker 2 (32:18):

Speaker 1 (32:27):

Speaker 3 (32:30):
End of last week, Baker Mayfield said that they are
not anywhere close the Buccaneers and him on contract talks.
Do you think they'll eventually comes in agreement indoor? Do
you think we'll see Baker on his fifteen eventually?

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Well, he's a I want to talk more about this
next next home. I don't know. I'm at some point
I'm gona talk about this. But Baker Mayfield's been up
and down. He's not been consistent with Tampa. He's been
good at times, mediocre at times, kind of in the middle.
He's paid about what he should be paid. I think
they'll get something done. He wants to be there, he's
got roots there. I think we'll stay next been that
flag football player who should you said?

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Who said that he thinks that Patrick Mahomes you know
went in total the candle in five foot Well, he
tried to walk that back, but he also said that
he only thinks one or two NFL players could make
the US men's Olympic flag football team.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
How many do you think we'll actually end up on it?
I think at least half will be NFL players, if
not seventy five percent for marketing reasons Coopy.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
Next Ben, they said that there's a report that the
Portland Trailblazers are willing to trade for Giannis without any
sort of guarantee you'll stay.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
Do you think that's gonna give them a leg up? Well,
not with keeping you honest, but yeah, if they're willing
to who cares they don't need a contract? Absolutely that
would help him out. How we know passes, There we go,
There we go.
