Speaker 1 (00:00):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
It's our numb barwe that's right, our one Ben Malershow podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
A reminder that the add on item, the.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Extra crispy version of this podcast is the Fifth Hour
Podcast and we go deep talking about a rodent on
today's episode of the Fifth Hour Podcast. I'm not gonna
give it away, just it's another wild adventure. You can
only hear about that on the Fifth Hour Podcast. It
is a must listen according to fergdog Alf the Alien,

(00:33):
Olpiner says it's changed his life in amazing ways, and
Malard prop Guy said without the Fifth Hour Podcast on.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
The weekend, he wouldn't be able to listen to it.
So here in our number one of the Ben Malors Show.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
For Nando Mendoza says he avoids the Las Vegas strip
and the playbook.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Is his girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
That's what he said. How does this read to you?
So we'll have some thoughts on mendo exhibition debut last
night for the Raiders against the Cardinals. Are the Seattle
Seahawks telling us something with this carry on arnold pending addition,
the guy's facing life in prison and the Seahawks are
like that seems like a guy we want.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
To add to the team.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
The Buffalo Bills say those obstructed seats at their stadium,
brand new two billion dollar stadium, are not a design
flaw or mistake, that this was intentional. How does that
reshape the story? We'll talk about all that and more.
Right now here we go. It's our number one A

(01:41):
peak at the Mendoza line. Well come, in the beginning
of another night of the Ben Mahlor Show. We are
in the air e of rewhere eyeball to eyeball as
we follow the paper trail wherever it takes us coast

(02:03):
to coast, border, the border and beyond on the mast
and super eminently powerful microphones of fs are amminating.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Live from the chute as we parachute in to your world,
and we thank you.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
For allowing that guaranteed human from the world famous Fox
Sports Radio studios, where Alf, Ferg Dog and Mallard prop
Guy say, Mallard, we've been waiting all day. We are hungry, hungry,
hungry hippos and we need hot takes. And I said,
you know what, Alf and Fergdog and Malo prop are

(02:41):
the are the pillars of the show. But what about
Matt Jack and the number one Burner account and Tree
in Chicago and all these I mean, we got so many,
you know, Andrew and Beakersfield, who's possibly the worst caller,
Scott and rode On, all these guys, even Kevin and Florida.
You know, I share a birthday with his son. All right,
but we eat this hour Viva Las Vegas. Oh, by

(03:04):
the way, shameless promotion coming up in less than a
couple of weeks here all Well, I think we're at
the point. Now, where's two weeks? I we're exactly two
weeks out or I guess we're a little over.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
It's the twenty ninth, so this is it's weird because
we're heading into the fourteen.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
So yeah, a little over two weeks, bad job by me.
But a little over.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Two weeks will be in Vegas. If you're in Vegas
or able to make it, we'd love to meet you.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Mallard, meet and greet. Well, we go to Vegas right now.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
And it turns out I'm not the most popular person
with the Raider fans.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
I don't know why.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
They're very sensitive, these hardened Raider fans, very delicate.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
They're delicate little flowers.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Anyway, Fernando Mendoza, their new Savior, Their Lord and Savior.
Fernando Mendoza made his debut kind of you really can't
get too worked up either way on an exhibition game, and.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I was flipping around. I you know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I'm such a loser. I guess I'm getting paid for
the way I look at it. You know, I'm plausibly
getting paid to watch these games. And I was watching
all the exhibition games from the Steelers and.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
The Packers, the Patriot game.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
I had that on bouncing around there, and the Lions
and Ben Gals and you name it.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Of the Raiders played against the Cardinals.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah, that is a dog food matchup if there was
two embarrassing franchises.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Their joke.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
So despite some fanboy reports about how good he looked,
oh my god, I must have had an issue with
my television, listen the reality on this Sideyan.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
He looked mid. That's where he is.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
I thought he would kind of be a mid guy.
And that's as I gonna play as a starter. Fernando
Mendoza pretty pedestrian. The average six point one yards per
pass against a bunch of backups who will be delivering
packages for Amazon. Not there's anything wrong with that, but
they'll be doing that rather than playing in the National

(05:02):
Football League, So color me not impressed.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
One thing I've learned, all right, One thing I've learned.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Here is to never get too worked up into a
lather regarding these exhibition games either way. But anyway, let's
go to the man, the mid the legend. Fernando Mendoza. Here,
your new savior, the Messiah of Raider Nation. Here he
is on his first appearance in an NFL uniform in
a practice game.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Take a list.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
It was an invigorating experience where there's not many moments
where you feel fully alive, and on the field is
when you feel fully alive, especially.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
In the NFL atmosphere. So I want to give thanks
to that.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah, it looked pretty. It didn't look like there's a
lot of energy. Am I missing something again? Must be
a bad TV. Here's more from Fernando Mendoza on a
need for speed.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
A need for speed.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Great to get out there and get my feet wet
at first, especially the first drive, fell a little sped
up because so much anticipation and excitement. However, I feel
like the cheap my teammates around me protected me very well,
and they helped me, they helped slow me down. And
I think because it was a good experience.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
And I saw a lot of pressure on Fernando Mendoza
and he didn't seem to be handling it very well.
But what do I know, So color me not impressed.
Even if he played well, I wouldn't be like, all right,
it's great either way, bad or it's a mid like
I said, mid the story though, to me is some
other comments made by the person we just heard there.

(06:37):
And if you didn't hear those comments, perhaps not Fernando Mendoza.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
He did this.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
There's this big xpos behind a paywall on the Athletic
and Mendoza says, you know, talking.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
About you know, they was asked about living in Vegas
and you.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Know the whole reputation of the debauchery that takes.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Place in that town.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Of course, now the debauchery costs you a lot more
because you got paper parking and everything's ridiculous. But Mendoza
says he largely avoids the iconic Las Vegas strip. He
compared it to a childhood haunted house.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Yeah, yeah, I thought this was fake. Apparably not.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
And even though he signed a contract with fifty seven.
I believe the number was fifty seven million guaranteed. If
I have that right, I believe I am over fifty
seven million guaranteed. Yet essentially he only wears Raiders gear
and stuff from Adidas, and he also has shut down
social media until the season ends, so that's gonna be well,

(07:37):
the Raider season ends in January, so he'll have no
social media till then. Then Wait, there's more. Mendoza also
said the playbook is my girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Close quote.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Playbook is my girlfriend and has largely decided no, no ladies.
You ladies are toxic. You're toxic to you ladies, and
no partying Poindexter eight partying, and he describes himself as
willing to be quote psycho about football close quote. All right,

(08:10):
that's a good jumping out point. Let us discuss the question.
Fernando Mendoza a lot to pick a part.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Here.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
He says he avoids the Las Vegas trip and the
playbook is his girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
How does this read to you? So I got Hunter S.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Thompson all inclusive, tropical resort and depression era, and we
will combine all of these things together. We're gonna enjoy
a one armed Bandit the one arm band a slot machine.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
We're gonna enjoy that, all right.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
So ay, I would like to thank Fernando Mendoza for
sounding like the biggest square to ever wear the raider's helmet.
All right, this guy not a good quarterback, good SoundBite.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
I'll take it. You know, it's gonna be good times,
gonna be a good time. I'm enjoying it.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
I got a lot of talk radio to do, and
this guy's good for my business.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
He's good. So the strip is his personal boogeyman.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah, my boogeyman is having to pay parking on the strip.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
That's my book.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
I love the strip, the paying the parking part, that's
my boogeyman. And I guess, is there like a blackjack
dealer possibly hiding under his bed? Can somebody check under
his bed to see if there's a Mendoza might have
a like a.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Blackjack dealer or a bed bugs or something like that.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
And it just came across like he has so little
self control that like driving past Caesar's Palace down the
strip and all of a sudden he's gonna turn into
Hunter S. Thompson on a bender because he happened to
see the fountains at Caesar's Palace or something like that,
and spare me the the playbook is my Girlfriend line.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Now, let me tell you.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
When I was a young man in my twenties, Radio
was my girlfriend. The reason Radio is my girlfriend. No
him In would get within ten feet of me. They
all agreed to stay away. It was, I don't know,
some kind of feminine bonding thing to stay away me.
This guy's that with the number one pick in the
NFL draft, I'm guessing he doesn't have that problem anyway.
Somewhere across the Pearly Gates, Al Davis, the late Great

(10:17):
Al Davis, is haunting a hallway wondering what happened to
his beloved franchise.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
And I really I'm gonna I'm gonna date myself. But when
I was growing up, the Raiders were machismo.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
They were a different breed, the Raiders, right, that used
to be the NFL's band of swashbuckling pirate misfits, right renegades, outlaws.
The Raiders yea bad boys, bad boys, bad boys.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Who looked like they would steal.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Your wallet and your girlfriend at the same time before kickoff.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Okay, now, the top pick their savior.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
For Mendoza is apparently terrified of staying up past his bedtime.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Like, what in the world is going on? It's like
the anti Raider.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
And look, Fernando Mendoza doesn't need to become a degenerate
in Vegas. There's plenty of those guys. Many of them
love our show. We love our friend mouth wash Mic
for example. Right, he didn't have to do that. You
don't have to go down that road. Okay, but you
can visit the strip without turning into Nicholas Cage and

(11:31):
leaving Las Vegas. Like, just try to give a little swagger,
you know, a little bit.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
You know that the whole thing was it used to
be just win baby.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Of course, any you tell anyone under the age of
like thirty or even like twenty five, just win baby.
For the Raiders are well that one. Come on, just lose.
That's their slogan, not winning. But just live a little bit,
just live a little I'm not telling you to become
the party man, but just live a little But all right. Now, meanwhile,

(12:01):
to Seattle, and we told you about this in the
previous episode, it has now happened.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
It's it's over. It's all over. For the Seattle Seahawks.
Turnout the lot not a lot? Hey goodbye?

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Oh yeah, yep, we have learned that Terry On Arnold
has agreed to join the Seattle Seahawks.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
What whoe?

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Yes, the Lions you might remember, fired Terry On Arnold
in late June. You might think that's harsh. It was
less than a week after he was arrested in Tampa.
He was the first round pick in the twenty twenty
four NFL draft. The Seahawks coach Mike McDaniel or McDonald
rather McDonald, McDaniel, McDonald, you know whatever. Anyway, Mike McDonald,

(12:52):
this guy had, he had like knee pads on describing
Arnold's workout as a great visit, great tryout, and of
course admitted there's a He said there were significant issues
surrounding him. Oh let me see. What do you think
those issues were. Let's take a look. What do you
Let's peek behind the curtain. Okay, why not?

Speaker 1 (13:13):
What the hell? All right, So prosecutors are accusing. Now,
it's an accusation.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
They're accusing Terry On Arnold of being the ringleader, the
man orchestrating a kidnapping and beating the crap out of
three people that he alleged and apparently wrongly had stolen
one hundred thousand in cash and a bunch of other

(13:38):
luxury watches and crap that's overpriced that he bought. Arnold
is facing not one, not two, not three, not four,
not five, not six, not seven? How about eight felony
counts for kidnapping, four armed robbery charges?

Speaker 1 (13:56):
All right?

Speaker 2 (13:56):
And how much jail time do you think he's fishing?
I think he's fishing like ten years? No, all right,
maybe twenty No? How about life in prison? Okay, he's
This is not a jaywalking ticket. He didn't steal a
bag of potato chips from the store. This is life
in prison now. No trial data.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Has been set and that's where we are.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
So the question, are the Seahawks telling us something with
the Terry on Arnold pending addition? Yeah, I mean they're
telling us a couple of things. They have no scruples,
and they are so scared of the la Rams, the
Seattle Seahawks. You don't take a guy like this on
your roster unless you're afraid of the la Rams. You're

(14:40):
not good enough, you know it. And this is the
type of move you make. That's it, right, a guy
facing life altering felony chargers. And yet the Seattle management
there is like, okay, this is just a harmless footnote.
It's on page ninety seven of the scouting report. You've
got Mike McDonald who looks at potentially facing this guy

(15:02):
facing a life in prison and.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Thinks, well, the guy's got grid. He's got grit. Terry
On Arnold has grid plus plus.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
He's already got a retirement plan at the all inclusive
tropical resort. Where's that all inclusive tropical resort there, mister McDonald,
That would be the Florida State prison system. Yes, now
tell me another job where you could gain employment like
this when facing that, in any other job, you'd be radioactive.

(15:33):
And yet the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL are like,
oh yeah, yeah, I wouldn't be shocked if when this
goes down here, Terry On Arnold shows up and he's
wearing handcuffs, and the Seattle Seahawks spin doctors in the
twelves would say, listen, they're not handcuffs, dummy, They're revolutionary

(15:55):
resistant bands, that's what they are.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
And he's so good he.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Can play with those revolutionary resistant bands.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
You just are mean calling them handcuffs. You're a boomer.
What is going on? You're the reigning Super Bowl champions
act like it?

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Why dumpster dive for that kind of back Stop acting
like you're the Browns or the Jets of the Raiders
of the Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
It's unbecoming.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
You don't need to run a halfway house with shoulder pads.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Come on, now, the good news is the marketing.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Department in Seattle. My friends there in the marketing department,
they will rebrand Now. Years ago, I'm barely old enough
to remember when they were really good. They had an
unbelievable defense. They called it the Legion of Boom. Now,
with Terry on Arnold coming on, they can rebrand it
the mug Shot Mafia. Oh, watch out for the mug
Shot Mafia. Pretty good, all right. Nothing screams championship culture

(16:51):
quite like wondering if your newest defensive back will be
able to cover receivers on Thursday or he'll have an
extended meeting.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
With his attorney to figure out what to do next.
All right?

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Meanwhile, all right, the last part of this, let's go
to Buffalo. Follow up to the follow up, I have
been receiving email from one. I don't think this guy
lives in Buffalo. He's a big Bills fan. He's in
the suburbs up there in western New York, and he's
very upset that I've taken shots at.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
His beloved Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Apparently, the overnight guy taking shots at the Bills is
a big problem for this dude. So he sent me
all this propaganda about the Bills stadium and said.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
See, see they didn't mess it up. You're just a hater,
you know that whole thing. So we have a stadium update.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
The architect behind that monstrosity, the two point two billion
high Mark Stadium, says that the ghastly obstructed site lines
were not a design mistake or some kind of oversight.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
They were intentional.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
What. Yes, the stadium was designed that way on purpose.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
They said.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
They designed a deeper upper deck, more vertical seating bowls,
and they stacked obviously the upper tiers They're intended. The
goal was to bring the fans closer to the field
and create.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
A louder atmosphere and all that.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Yeah, Okay, a person I'm not going.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
To give the name of the firm.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
The architects I haven't heard of them, but somebody that
worked for that company, some blowhard executive, defended the setup, saying, quote,
you will find some level of obstruction in every stadium
in the world, while arguing the goal was better proximity
and atmosphere close.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Quote all right.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
So the question the Buffalo bills say that these obstructed
seats in their brand new stadium are not a design mistake.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
How does this reshape the story? All right? All right,
so let me take a break.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
All right, So claims that these obstructed seats are not
a design mistake elevate the story from a garden variety
screw up garden variety to biblical incompetence.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Okay. Their defense is, yeah, we meant to do that. Yeah,
that's our that's ours. We did it.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
So let me get this straight. You spent two point
two billion on a football palace that has if I'm correct,
here correct me if I'm wrong. I jotted down on
my notesap on my phone. It has a vintage nineteen
eighties style JumboTron in that stadium, the kind of a
jumbo tron you would see in like nineteen eighty seven

(19:44):
at the Metrodome. Okay, it has sight lines that are
similar to the nineteen thirties, and the upper deck so
vertical that if you climb to row thirty. According to
internet videos that I saw, it does require, as we
said in a previous episode of the show, a shirpa

(20:04):
and an oxygen tank to get to that point. All right,
and so what's next? Support columns in front of the urinals, Like,
what are we doing here? And they talked about what
we did this for crowd noise? You know what also
create artificial crowd noise?

Speaker 1 (20:19):
A roof? You know what else happens in Buffalo snow,
a lot of snow.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
I'm just saying, if your goal was to get a
lot of noise, a roof would.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Have done that. Yeah, oh you're a viet mean, what's
wrong with you? So this is and it made me
I'm wrong on this.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
I think it's supposed to be a sparkling new NFL cathedral,
the Tabernacle of Buffalo bill Football, not some of some
kind of archaeological recreation of a Depression era stadium design,
like did they dust off the old blueprints from Tigers
Stadium slash Briggs Stadium?

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Back and says, oh, this seems.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Like a good idea, And as we pointed out, is listen,
if tickets were affordable and it was something where it
was everyone had a chance to really go there and
you didn't have to spend most of your spendable income,
your disposable income excuse me to go to these games.
The bills just created this PSL bull crap, one of

(21:20):
the great hustles of our time, and the fans in
Buffalo have handed over.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
I think the number I saw.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Was two hundred and sixty million dollars to pay the
bills for the right to pay more money for the
stadium or for the tickets in the stadium. That's a
PSL ransom so they could play piek a boo with
Josh Allen while clinging for life like a mountain goat
in the upper deck. It's just so just spare us

(21:49):
the the mumbo jumbo about proximity and all that. That's
just lipstick on a two point two billion dollar buffalo,
and just try to not gaslight people into thinking that
alpine style seating and block views are features, right, No,
they're bugs. Okay, Now, I advise the Malard think tank.

(22:13):
Fix what you can do what you can to fix
the stuff. Grab some honey mustard and eat the l.
Eat the l. That's the Malor advice, that's the wisdom.

X at Ben Mahler.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
That's at Ben Mahlor.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
If you'd like to be part, we'd much appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Boy, that would be great.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Man would be really be happy if you did that.
That would mean mean a lot, mean a lot.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
So thank you.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
And you can also interact with Lorena FSR Tech queens.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Yo yo yo, what up? What up?

Speaker 2 (26:28):
Homie and Coople Loop at a Bronco fan.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
That's oh, Bronco.

Speaker 7 (26:34):
Fan, got a new Costco fine for you?

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Ben?

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Oh you do? Okay? What did you get at Costco?

Speaker 2 (26:38):
Don't tell me the chicken fingers, because I know those
have been around. It's not the chicken fingers as something else.

Speaker 7 (26:42):
It is not the chicken fingers, although I have not
tried those yet. I am curious.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Coople Loop, give me the inside skinny. I've been to
Costco this week, so I don't know what they have.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Go ahead.

Speaker 7 (26:51):
It is a cinnamon cream filled croissant, twice baked croissant.
It is delicious.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
Yeah, it's like cut in half and then the cinnamon's
on the inside. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (27:06):
They fill it with like a cinnamon cream and then
they put cinnamon struzel on top and powdered cinnamon, sugar
and then bake it again and it's and.

Speaker 8 (27:16):
Then you throw it in the microwave.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Real. Yeah? And where is this in the I assume
the bakery.

Speaker 7 (27:21):
Section of Okay, yeah, buy all the cookies and whatnot.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
And you somebody told you about this and you found
this on your own. I purchased it today, okay.

Speaker 6 (27:32):
Yeah, here's.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Lorraina got a piece of it. It would appear, yes, yeah,
okay and very nice. And I don't think Raina goes
to Costco though, right, you're not. But Coop can buy
the contraman and take it out of Costco so you
could get it.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
I do. I love it though, because she does a cook,
so it's just and she eats like a perch? Is
it like I cook all the time? Like Coop? Do
you cook? Yes? Okay, see we both Lorena. What's going on?
Me and Cooper. We're in the kitchen. We're cooking. No,

(28:09):
that doesn't do anything for you?

Speaker 8 (28:11):
No, not really?

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (28:14):
Okay, why cook when you could have other people buy
you your meal?

Speaker 1 (28:19):
That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Yeah, I mean, I'm just saying, but if you don't
have to worry about it.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
I bought my own BBIM BAP tonight. Thank you very much. Wow, Okay,
I gotcha. Anyway, listen, we are we're hanging out here.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
We started with a couple of things on Fernando Mendoza.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
He made his debut, kind of exhibition debut there with
the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
I don't I take a lot of this stuff with
a grant of salt, But I got a show to do,
so that's it. Ferg Dog says, is Dave Roberts ready
to demote Edwin Diaz yet?

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Or is he going to continue to like him in
that spot?

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Oh my god. I I was having a few old
day with my Dodger Propaganda's friends here as Edwin Diaz
came in and rode the vomit comet at Dodger Stadium.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Was hilarious.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
And the Dodgers, that Dodger Hubris, they are the smartest people.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
In the room. Ah man.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
I remember when Edwin Diaz came back after having loose
bodies in his elbow and they were like, Oh, he's
gonna be great now.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
That was the problem.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Okay, He's been in the front row of the vomit
comet ever since he came back. He's unpitchable. You cannot
pitch him. I thought I was watching Jonathan Broxton out there. Okay,
I was at the game, and it's an old story,
but the Phillies and Dodgers played in the NLCS, and
the Dodgers were in a good shape. Game of Dodgers
dated Matt Stairs hit one to the moon off Broxton.

Speaker 8 (29:44):
It was.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
It was ridiculous anyway, Mark the full Name Guy writes in, says,
at Brewers, how about the brew crew coming back at
the ravine.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
And shoving it down?

Speaker 2 (29:52):
That Dodger arrogance right there, Mark the full Name Guy says.
The reason where we're hearing this diatribe from be Ma
about I like that you said my name because your
Marked the full name guy, You're not able to call anymore.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
I think you've lost your voice.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
The reason we hear the diet tray about Ben Mahler
about the Bills stadium is because of the fear factor
of losing to Josh Allen and the Bills, a quarterback
younger and stronger and way more athletic than the Rams.
Matthew Stafford, I'm very concerned. I stay up all night. Well,
actually I step on because I've a talk show, but
I stay up all night because I'm freaking out about

(30:27):
Josh Allen, because Josh Allen, as you know, Mark has
had such great success in big games. His team always
finds a way to come through, always gets it done. Yeah,
Late Night Drug Tester writes it from Parts Unknown. He says,
I think the obstructed views in Buffalo are going to
end up being the premium seats. In those spots, you
won't be able to actually see the Bills blow leads

(30:49):
in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Playoffs. Michael writes in from Tulsa.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
He says, Ben, as a pre Taylor Swift Kansas City
Chief fan, I have a big grin on my.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Face regarding the Raiders. I have no doubt.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Coop would agree as possible. Charlie, remember this kid, Charlie
from Wisconsin.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
He's back.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
I wonder where he's been gone for a while. And
we haven't heard from Charlie and Dallas in a long time.
We've been Charlie free, He says. This is the Charlie
from Wisconsin. He says the Dodgers are soon going to
be on a losing streak because of this guy. The
miss Well, they lost Charlie to your Brewers. You should
know that. So they're already lost the game, and then

(31:31):
the mis pitches. I believe on Saturday, so tickets are
not available. I don't believe for that game, and they
might be. The Baltimore Freeloader account writes in and says
we already knew that Buffalo was a city of losers.
The only parades they have in that town are on holidays.
Who designed the stadium? Stevie Wonder or Blind Scott shots fired?

(31:55):
Usually someone surveys the place before it opens. In Buffalo,
they are obstructed by championships.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Yeah, unless they're not. Unless that is not the case.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
There you go, spocks weed from the Oregon Trail right
since says a Hunter S.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Thompson reference.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
Dude, what is this fear and loathing on the Ben
Malor show.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Yeah, well, I don't want to.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
I can't mention him too much because it's as Klay
Travis would say, you can't OutKick your coverage. You don't
want to do that too much because that becomes problematic.
But there's many great quotes from Hunter S. Thompson that
I have used over the years, and one of my favorites,
Hunter S. Thompson said life should not be a journey

(32:45):
to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in
a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid
in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Wow, what a ride. It's kind of right. I can
sit at home all day and not leave your house
and be a shut in. And that's one way to
live your life. I ain't God, live a little bit,
you know, enjoy yourself.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
I have some fun, because it's gonna end whether you're
sitting in your house or not. He ain't gonna be
here forever, so might as well enjoy it. Absolutely, say
some calls. It is a call in show. And to
the phones, to the phones, to the phones, to the phones,
to the phones. Let's see what whacker doodles we have
lined up for you here and enie meanie, miney mo.
Pick a caller by their name as my board as

(33:34):
being research, I gotta click this thing and then there
we are here.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Yeah, I reset it.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Let's go right now to a man who is part
of the Seattle Seahawks Marching and Chata Society to defend
the good name of the once proud Seattle Seahawks. J
J in Renton, we smoked him out. Hello, JJ in Renton.

Speaker 6 (33:57):
Holds we're not on trial word double trial, So get
that right then. But the boy for the Raiders did
okay tonight, man, he did, he did. I watched them
All twenty two. I watched I checked out the All
twenty two. You know, he did decent.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Well what do you what are you Mike Holmgren? What
are you doing? Dude? Come? Huh are you Mike Holmgren
from back in the day watching?

Speaker 6 (34:27):
Man? I just you know, I got a friend that's
a RAGERUS fan, so he wanted me to check out Mendoza,
So I checked him out on the All twenty two.
And then the boy Charrian, he's a dog, Charrian Arnold
and you know, like there's so many stills. It was
two hundred thousand dollars and some jewelry that got stolen

(34:49):
out of the air and BnB and so, uh, you know,
I don't want to say too much of what happened because.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
You have insid you have inshoted from do you have insight?

Speaker 6 (35:01):
Hey? Like I said, I don't want to say too much,
but like yeah, no I would Uh.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Man, oh is that right?

Speaker 2 (35:11):
Yeah, you realize that they're claiming that he beat up
the wrong guys.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
No, he wouldn't have there.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
He was all, no, I know, but I'm saying he
orchestrated the thing and they beat up the wrong guys.

Speaker 6 (35:21):
I don't know about that.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
That's oh, you don't know about that. That's assuming.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
My man, j j in Renton, Mike, where have you been, man?
You got to call me more off, you said, working man.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
We've been working twelve hour shifts. Man, we get these right.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Well, for those who don't know, we did years ago.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
We did a meet and greet in Seattle, and I
had a great time with JJ and Rent and all
the boys that came out there.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
No Stridena Show legends that were there. It was a
lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
You got to man, I'll get back I love see
I'll get back well, I love parts of Seattle'll get
back there. And uh, let me tell you that you're
your cute little daughter. She's probably all grown now, right.

Speaker 6 (36:02):
That was a yeah, she's twelve now, man.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Oh that's well, that's not quite all grown, but she's
she's much much older than she was when she was
a little little girl when we were hanging out there, Yes, sir, Yes.

Speaker 6 (36:14):
Sure man. But hey, and he's talking about that stadium, man,
you need to try walking up the hawks nests.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (36:22):
Last year I went to the Raiders, the Raiders preseason
game when they tied the Seahawks. Yeah, and all the
Raider fans were complaining about walking up the Hawks nest.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
They were like, well, as you know, j jj Ritt
and I tried to walk up the Hawk's nest a
few years ago and I was denied by the Seattle Seahawks.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
If you might remember that, I remember.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Right, I was right outside the stadium. We were we
had we had our guys. We were doing a mallard like,
I don't.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Know what you'd call it. We was a march.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
We did the march. I guess you'd call the Mallarman march.
And we were right out there. Ed from Spokane had
the bullhorn, you know Ben Maller show.

Speaker 6 (36:57):
Remember that. Well, my brother was like, oh, he's a
radio show host. Oh yeah, he's gonna have to give
me like five hundred four ticket. That's what my brother is.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
Yeah. Yeah, well no I'm not I'm not doing TV.
I'm doing radio. So I can't afford five hundred dollars
for a ticket.

Speaker 6 (37:11):
That's what I try to brother, man exactly.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
You gotta know, you gotta understand, jagent.

Speaker 6 (37:17):
Hoo, come up with the ticket.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
Man, Come on, man, hook me up. Man, what are
you doing? Come on now, It's ridiculous.

Speaker 6 (37:26):
Yeah, man, but man, I'll be listening to you every night.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
Man, Well, now I hear you listen a tremendous defense
of your team signing a guy facing life in prison.
Very impressed with that tremendous.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Job by you, So go away, thank you. All right
is the.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Ben Malor Show, as we are rolling on time now
for the who am I?

Speaker 6 (37:50):
Game?

Speaker 1 (37:51):
I am a.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Former NFL player. I was born in the Philippines. I
did not go to some hifalut in high school.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Initially, I was homeschooled.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
And my celebration became an actual word in Actually, my
celebration became an actual word.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Who am I? That is the question the answer. We'll
get to it, and we will do it next.

Speaker 4 (38:22):

the somewhat popular who am I?

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Game?

Speaker 2 (39:09):
So I have a I have a quagmire here. Let
me check with my consultants here. So Mark the full
name guy is on hold, and I want to take
his call, but I have to do the.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Who am I? Game?

Speaker 2 (39:19):
And I am ninety nine percent sure that Mark will
hang up if I don't take his call right now.
So Loraina, should I take the call from Mark the
full name guy? Or should I just do the normal
thing that we do here, the who am I?

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Game? And I will ask both you and Coop? So Lorena,
what say you? I say?

Speaker 7 (39:35):
Due to the special occasion, I would take the phone call.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
All right, coop a loop? What do you think? Yeah,
I'll take it. All right.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Let's bring in from the Oregon Trail a man that
has been my nemesis for many.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
Many years.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
Mark the full name guy.

Speaker 6 (39:59):
Oh there Bed.

Speaker 1 (40:00):

I know you're gonna hang up. I know you're gonna
hang up. Hey, let me pay off the who am I?

Speaker 6 (40:10):
Game?

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Mark?

Speaker 2 (40:10):
I am a former. I'm a former NFL. I was
born in the Philippines. I was home Big Gaddy, and
my off field celebration or my on field celebration actually
became a word.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
All right, who do you think I am? Who am I?

Speaker 8 (40:28):
Well, you don't say big Gaddy?

Speaker 1 (40:31):
Are you drunk? No, I'm not drunk. I don't drink Okay, alcohol,
It would be hard to be drunk if.

Speaker 8 (40:38):
You're Yeah, it'd be hard to be drunk because you
don't drink alcohol. Well, now I do have vinegar, but
that's alcohol and I don't drink from the vinegar I
used to clean my carpet.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Yeah. By the way, somebody we have.

Speaker 8 (40:50):
The story how like a major hack operation trying to
pay Amazon.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
For some integer Robbie says, Victor Cruz.

Speaker 8 (41:05):
Website.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
Gary DiSarcina. That's a good name from Big Lou. That's
his name. What else do we have?

Speaker 1 (41:11):
Uh, Fernando Marcos?

Speaker 8 (41:16):
Uh school? Who am I person?

Speaker 2 (41:20):
