Speaker 1 (00:00):
Boom goes the dynamite.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
It's our numb bar wold our one body blow, body blow,
body blow of the Ben Malors Show, talking food Ball on.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
This Tuesday, the seventh of July. We stayed up all night.
You realize that that's the podway we stayed up on. Yeah,
it was broadcast live on six hundred radio stations, but
we were up all night to give you this fresh
pod we're live in local Yeah, all right, So here
in hour number one, what the hell went wrong for
Team USA as they had the Belgium waffle topped them
(00:37):
and just crushing them a blowout. Looked like a bunch
of youth soccer players self inflicted wounds there and they're
out in the round of sixteen. The World Cup also
does this, I say this in air quotes. Run in
the World Cup to the sweet sixteen of that sport
count as a moral victory for Team USA soccer. And
(00:59):
how do you react to some fellow Americans celebrating Team
USA's loss to Belgium. The wokesters very happy that USA loss.
Will explain why they felt that way and why that's
a sickness. We'll get to all of those stories and more,
right now settle in. It's our number one. If you
(01:23):
had Team USA winning the World Cup, you're a loser.
Welcome in the beginning of yet another night of the
Band Malor Show. We are in the air ev Reware
(01:43):
birds of a feather, they say, we flock together. The
overnight upheaval just beginning. The Red Eye flight coast coast border,
the border in beyond on the vast and sizzlingly powerful
microphones of FSR and AH live from the game as
(02:04):
we like to play the blame game from under the
cover of darkness. Garonteed human from the world famous Fox
Sports Radio studios, where Doc Dan reminds us that this
hour made possible apart by our friends at tire Iraq.

al Fergdog and Malardpopkay all give that the old thumbs up.
So I got a message also from I think it
was Shane in des Moines who reached out and said, Ben,
(02:49):
can you let the nice people know about Express? I said, Shane,
if you asked nicely, I will do that. When your
logistics business is moving fast, so should your workforce. Express
employment professionals next year with qualified talent. Fast Express helps
you hire smarter and stay productive. Is it expresspros dot

(03:12):
impacting business? And then it was Robbie the Mariner fan
who said, Ben, the people need to know about that
Beckham thing. I said, no, it's not a Beckham thing,
Robbie the Mariner fan. It's a home depot spot. We
love our friends at home Depot. Upgrade your FIFA World

doesn't call anymore. He doesn't really contribute during the live show.
I think he's sleeping. However, Justin did want you to
(03:57):
know about Fox one. I don't know that you haven't
figured this out yet. If you haven't, a reminder, the
excitement of the FIFA World Cup is now streaming live

it live. We're gonna do it, and we'll do it
a lot. That's it, all right, Now we'll get back
to the commercials. We pause the commercials for the show,
and then we'll get back to the commercials. Stay tuned,
all right, So our lead this hour, don't bury the lead,
my man. Well, I guess I can take the flag off.
I can stop wrapping myself in the flag at this
(04:41):
particular point as soon you know by now. But our
lead this hour from the World Cup, we go to Seattle,
where they're not sleepless in Seattle. They are winless in Seattle,
at least the Americans battling the Belgian waffles in the
round of six ten Team USA trying to reach the
(05:01):
Elite eight, although they're not allowed to use that because
I think they have to pay extra for that. I
think we can use it. I think, I don't know.
It's just the eight teams left. Anyway, If you didn't watch,
it was on Fox. Why didn't watch? It was on Fox?
One bad job by you. Perhaps you missed it. You
were out doing something. I don't know what you were doing.
This hot everywhere. I don't know what you were doing.
(05:21):
You staying and turn on the AC and watch the game.
I guess you can watch on your phone or whatever. Anyway,
So don't worry. We watched so you would not have to,
as just Josh and Cincinnati knows. That is our public service.
So this game was it close?
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Hell?
Speaker 1 (05:36):
No, not close at all, Team Belgium defeating the sad
sack United States team four to one, which I'm told
if this was like American football, would have been seventy
two to ten would have been the final. Four to
one was the final in the round of sixteen. So
(05:57):
turnout the last the part partiase over seal you later.
The twenty twenty six feet of World Cup has ended.
All the host country teams are now out over the weekend.
The Canadians exited stage left, Mexico exited stage right, and
the USA said let's do a belly whopper and get
the hell out of here. And that's exactly what they did.
(06:20):
Eliminated from the tournament. And again it was not close.
Not briefly, for about thirty seconds it was one to one,
and then that was that was it. That was it,
Belgium dominating all your soccer stats. You know, we love
our soccer stats. Fifteen to seven was the advantage on
the shot advantage and by all accounts, all my soccer
(06:43):
people that all love to tell me they know more
about soccer were braggadocious about how much better Belgium was
and their technique, and they were the more aggressive team,
and typically in any athletic competition, the more aggressive team
ends up winning. The US had the possession, which is
a parent not nine tenths of the law. In victory,
they had the ball more fifty six percent of the
(07:05):
time the forty four percent for the team from Belgium.
But a lot of bonehead plays. You know, I'm not
much of a soccer guy. I played soccer like every
other guy my age when we were kids, and then
we became teenagers and stopped watching. And even I know,
the novice of soccer that I am, I was cringing
(07:25):
watching some of the stuff of us that was going on, like,
holy crap, they suck. It was bad, multiple bonehead blunders
that led to Belgium getting some just easy goals, just
just really easy goals. So that is a good jumping
off point. Let us discuss this is a big pivot
(07:47):
point in the event everyone's been watching here, the World Cup.
So the question we always love to play the blame game.
What on God's Green Earth went wrong for Team Usay,
and the loss to Belgium in the round of sixteen.
So I've got DC comics, mosquitoes, moss and flies, and
(08:08):
a German Smorgesborg, and we will combine all of these things,
all of this and we are going to have a
nice tropical vacation because Team USA can get now going
a nice tropical vacation. So ay, listen, Belgium. I don't
think they beat the United States. I don't know that's
the right terminology that they beat the United States. I
(08:29):
feel like this was a self inflicted situation where Team
USA it was self sabotage, the saboteurs wearing the USA
logo there with a FIFA license agreement and all that.
Now the coach of Team USA Mauricio Pocatino after the
game called it a quote reality check. You saw on
(08:50):
Fox the postgame on field interview there with all the
sponsors behind the coach there in that glass partition. He
said it was a Again the word he used, reality
check is what he said there, noted that they didn't
connect with the game. You talk about understatements. Yeah, all
that matters. As we have said from the beginning of
(09:11):
this show, and until they pull the mic away and
say you're not allowed to talk into this mic anymore,
We've always pointed out that all that matters is what
you do in the moment. And I learned from the
great Dick Stockton, retired sportscaster. Stats tell you what has happened,
not what's going to happen here. And it's fair to
say that John Tortorella was correct when he pointed out
(09:32):
that when his team lost, they sucked at a time
he cannot suck. That would be the line of thinking
with Team USA. They sucked at a time he cannot suck.
A classic. We only watch soccer pretty much every four years,
and this is a classic USA meltdown situation, A comedy
of errors defensively for Team USA there. It was something
(09:53):
that we've seen in years past from watching various World
Cups over the years. Here, the USA had more brain
farts than what, more brain farts than a lactose intolerant
dairy convention. There was a lot of teutin, a lot
of tutin going on there. And if you want specifics, yeah,
players like Tim Reim come to mind here, who played
(10:16):
like he was trying to unlock a cheat code and
he kept entering the wrong combo and got locked out.
We must have a guy here who quit, Ryan Bershinger.
He quit a few months ago, but keep trying Ryan.
We gave him the nickname, and Ryan famously got locked
out of the company social media accounts because he forgot
(10:37):
the password and he kept punching in the wrong one,
thus the nickname. That's what it looks like. He's even
done that. You punched in the wrong combo and you
get locked out in generally a just the entire defensive
side for Team USA was disorganized, discombobulated, and they were
like matadors Oaylay and Belgia. Belgium taking advantage of that
(11:01):
to their credit. Now we also must highlight I jotted
down on the notes app on my iPhone while I
was watching the game. I used to actually write notes
back in the OL days because I'm old and I
had a notepad. One of my whole program directors gave
me said, write your notes down when you're watching the game.
I said, okay, now I use the notes app. So
I wrote down on the notes app. I highlighted the
US goalkeeper Matt Freeze. I highlighted this guy who turned
(11:23):
in in front of my eyes, and your eyes as well,
if you watch this, or even if you're blind, your ears.
Matt Freeze turned into a DC comic supervillain, mister Freeze
freezing up at the worst possible moment, failing the basic
fundamentals of not clearing the ball in a mistake for
(11:43):
the Ages, as he literally just gifted now I didn't
even know if he put a bow on it and
just said, here you go, Belgium, thanks for the waffles
and the fries, here's a goal, enjoy it, and yeah,
so there you go. It was a huge, huge blunder.
It really was total calamity. I mentioned like when I
(12:04):
was a kid playing soccer, it's like nowadays, I guess
you go to the park on a Saturday morning, and
it's the what do they call it, the U ten
nine ten year old kids a little older than that
playing youth soccer, and they get the orange slices and
all that, and that's kind of what it felt like,
(12:24):
a pure disaster class for the American soccer team. Now,
page two, keeping the drum beat going, and this is
likely going to be the last full soccer monologue that
we do until four years from now, and then we'll
do it again. And make sure to get my all
my hot soccer takes out. I need to give you
(12:48):
my takes, all right. So the question does this run
if you want to call it that, in the World
Cup to the soccer we're version of the Sweet sixteen?
Does this count as a moral victory, a step in
the right direction for the American soccer movement? The cult
of soccer as I call it in America, it is
(13:09):
a cult. And ever since I was a kid, they
told me that this is gonna be the big thing,
and I'm kind of getting old and it's not the
big thing anyway, all right, So moral victory that is
a big time story for those of you who are
fellow insomniacs. Here I say phoie is what I say.
(13:31):
You don't get credit for showing up, as I've often
pointed out, you get credit for like winning. That's the
thing that you know, not even close. If you look
at the Micro and the macro, the micro and the macro,
the Micro people are mad, They're upset. They're like, oh man,
this is a bummer. You had parties plan, this is
(13:51):
supposed to go another two weeks. And Macro you have
people who have been mad for thirty forty fifty years
saying why is this? Keep happy? It's the exact same
song and dance that you guys like the song. You
go to a sleazy speakeasy type bar and they keep
(14:13):
playing this music off this whole thing called a jukebox,
and it's just the same thing. It's broken. It plays
over and over and over again. And when you peel
back the onion on this it is a DejaVu. When
I don't mean the gentleman's club situation all over again.
Team USA played well enough until they played apparently a
legitimate opponent here in Belgium. I'm not mister soccer, but
(14:35):
to some of my soccer people have told me this
is like a legitimate team and all that here. So
the second that happened, the training wheels went flying and
they came off, and the team USA Soccer Club lose
four to one, four to one. They was lost by
three goals, and a couple of those goals I think
I could have scored. Okay, they turned into a combo
(14:59):
of the mosquitos, the moss and the flies. Have you
ever drive through the desert or somewhere out pretty much
anywhere this time of the year, you know all those
things that splatter all over your windshield? Yeah, that was
that was the USA Soccer group there that Belgium was
driving the car. The wheels on the bus go round
and round, The wheels on the bus go round and round,
(15:21):
and the bugs get splashed just like that. So again
it was a loss. It was a giveaway. They evaporated
like a puddle out in Death Valley. Whatever you want
to say, whatever analogy, and the Fox commentators highlighted we'll
get more to this later, but they highlighted how TSA
was completely outclassed. You just everything was bad. Reaction was slow.
(15:44):
They just weren't the more aggressive team and all that stuff.
Bedraggled is the word I will use I love the
word bedraggled. I don't use it enough. It's a good word. Bedraggled.
They were bedraggled. There's a term that we have used,
tight tooka syndrome, tight spin, however you want to describe it,
and that certainly applies. They were allergic to the situation
(16:06):
here and it was it was bad. And did a
bunch of Belgium fans stay up all night outside the
team hotel and Seattle banging on drums to keep the
players awake all night? What happened? I don't know. I
have no idea, but this is turning the corner, which
some hope it is for the American soccer team. Turning
the corner. They turned right into a cul de sac
(16:28):
is what they did. So congratulations, you're gonna have to
go back out again, do better and be better. That's it,
so all right now, last word, not everyone, It turns
out not everyone upset with the outcome from Seattle. And
I've noticed it in my world. I've seen some of it.
I wasn't online very much, but I saw some of
(16:50):
it on the online world, which is a lot of
fake matrix type stuff. And the question how did you react?
To a so upset of American fans, I guess American
citizens celebrating Team USA's loss to Belgium. And there are
(17:13):
a fair amount of people that, it seem, and I
don't know how many there are, I've en counted them
that seem to be very happy about this. It's odd
to me Americans, some of you celebrating Team USA losing,
which I think is bozo the clown behavior. Imagine being
so politically scrambled your mind the scrambled so much by
(17:37):
the politics that you were rooting for Belgium or anyone
to beat Team USA. It's really wild to me. It's crazy.
The mindset of that blows me away. And the good
thing about is you can easily spot the wack of
noodles easily because they're the ones that were celebrating. They
(17:59):
treated like a mid term result or some political vote thing.
You know, they got all worked up there, that's their
super Bowl. We're sports people, they're political people and all
that stuff. But the TDS infected and this is the
subset I believe we're celebrating the TDS infected group too
busy doom scrolling, if you will, their political feelings to
(18:24):
even engage and enjoy the World Cup. That's it. And
I just chuckle. I do Listen. If you're one of
these people, I get it. This is your thing, this
is your mischia gos. I just laugh at you. I
chuckle at you, is what I do. Imagining so infected
with this that you can't even sit down to watch
a game without without freaking out and reacting like this.
(18:48):
It's crazy. So if you are one of those people
taking joy out of Team USA losing in the World Cup,
I enjoy your Germans styles. Smorgesborg. You've got brats over
to the right, you've got the sour kraut over to
the left, and a big pile of shot in freude
right there in the middle, right there. So and like
(19:10):
the oil. Belgium is a small country, Okay, I get it.
I totally yeah. There's not as many people in Belgium
as the US. You can say that for most countries
in the world, not all, but most, And I would
point out Belgium did not shock Team USA. There was
a lot of dumb money, as they call it in
Wall Street and in Vegas, people that were betting with
their hearts on Team USA. However, if you look at
(19:31):
the number from the people. The numbers should have been
Belgium favored in this game on USA. It was close.
It was close favored on US soil and so Belgium
they won the game. They were supposed to win the game.
They won the game. That is the story. Everything else
is people just overdosing on like your politics stuff and
(19:53):
all that. And this does end the conspiracy theory that
some of you had. This is the other part of it.
If USA had on the win, in the multiverse, there
is there are multiple outcomes, as we believe in the multiverse,
and so if USA had won, it would have been well,
it's rigged, you know, it's rigged. FIFA rigged it for
President Trump and on. But they didn't win. So now
it's like just pure joy for those that enjoy the
(20:14):
shot and freude. Uh there you go, all right, so
and get back to your group chats and do you
little victory that It is the Ben Malor Show. If
you'd like to be part eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven seven nine nine six six threes
six nine. Are you gonna watch the rest of the
World Cup. I'm gonna watch the rest of the World Cup.
I want to see who wins. Am I gonna be
(20:35):
fully engaged? Probably not, but I still will watch. And
I love championship games. And we're gonna get a World
Cup championship game, and somebody in Nevere is gonna choke
and it'll be fun and it'll be great. It won't
be as much fun if it was if America was involved,
but let's still check it out. Are are you done?
Skies eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven

Can't the drops. I don't know about that A little
different eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox on ex
at Ben Maler, Say hello to Loreina, hide there, don't
(23:26):
talk to me. You can say a little an FSR
tech queen is how you find her and coop a
loop is available at a Bronco fan. Wow, Wow, that's
a Bronco fan. Your comments can and will be used
against you in the kangaroo court of the Mallard Ursius,
So please act accordingly. Back to what we go and
(23:50):
a lot of reaction. King Rory in Wisconsin writes, and
he says, I'm sad and that the team you say lost,
But I'm glad I spent my time more wisely as
I was watching America's pastime. The Brewers fought their way
back to beat the Redbirds. I will ask, how did
the reinstated player for the USA do. I'm sure he
(24:11):
had a great game. Please let me know. You got
a lot of cardio in I guess that's the good news.
Do some cardio there. Let's see here. Ryan had a
very interesting way of describing the game. Rans in Mexico.
He's from San Diego. He's living in Mexico right now,
so I don't know. That's all about. Joe the ghost
Hunter from Ohio met Joe at the Great Mallard Meet
(24:33):
and Greet. Joe says, the wolkeser heate America. That's well,
they hope they lose. Overnight, Joe says Ben. Now, Overnight,
Joe's a legend. He's in rochester's been with us a
long time, and we'll continue on as long as we're here.
He'll be here. And he says, Ben, please don't tease
me by saying that this will be the last soccer
monologue for four years. I said, the last full soccer
monologue overnight, Joe. Also, you use the notes app, not
(24:57):
a yellow notepad like Arnie Spaniar, the Stinking Genius. Yeah yeah,
Arnie is next level. When I first got into radio
a long time ago, long time ago. We were all
using computers, but we had like Netscape, Navigator and AOL.
We Actually, when I first got a radio, we had
(25:18):
literally a sports wire, the AP sports Wire. We had
the sports ticker. We had a newsroom, like a legitimate
newsroom at the radio station I worked at in San Diego.
But there were computers. They just were kind of archaic, right.
It was early, the big bulky ones, not like Giant,
but they were not very effective. The Internet was not
really a thing. It was just kind of beginning and
(25:39):
then so it was a weirdo. There's one guy, though
we were all trying to use computers, there was one
guy that used the typewriter and just killed me. Even then,
I was like, what are you doing, dude, You're hitting
all the keys. And we were actually in Florida for
spring training. I was on the doing the Ben and
Dave Show, a local show in LA and we were
(25:59):
Dodgers training. When we're at Vero Beach. Back when they
were a family business and not this global conglomerate monster machine.
They've become where they don't really care about the little people.
But back then they cared about the little people, and
we used to go to spring training in Vero Beach
and it was great and wonderful and uh, but the
problem was this the place. They rented out a place
in near Vero Beach, and so we stayed. It was
(26:22):
an old a bunch of old I don't know about now.
Back then it was a bunch of old people. And uh. Anyway,
so we'd we'd hang out and in the house after
games in the morning and the afternoon or whatever, and
we'd go back and this guy would be writing his script.
He was an update dude, and he would be typing
and it would it was so loud because it would
bounce off the tile floor and the high ceiling, and
it was a freaking nightmare. Anyway, ir it sounds I
(26:45):
still remember. That's a long time ago, and I still remember, Lorena.
I'm still annoyed by that now. I don't know how
that just popped in my head, because overnight Joe got
that was bury Joe back in my very back of
my head, and then I somehow popped out because you
mentioned Arnie and his notepad. There's also a famous story
about Arnie. When I used to have my website, which
(27:07):
was a gossip site, and it was a sports gossip site.
And Arnie used to just take a bunch of stuff
off the site, which is I guess what it was
there for. And he mistakenly one time pressed print on
the web. Now and this is like an old website.
So it was one page that went on and on
and on. Oh it was more than that. It was
(27:28):
like one hundred pages. And the Arnie, what are you
doing dude? Anyway? Fat Daddy writes in he says, interesting monologue,
big men, four more years, four more years. Hopefully those
douche bag Americans that are rooting for the Americans to lose,
or we're rooting for them lose. Hopefully they're packing their
bags and moving to Belgium. I'm sure that's no Stradinis
(27:49):
writes in. He says, in Seattle, we are so accustomed
to people pooping all over themselves on the streets. That's
seeing a goalie do it on the field. It's no
big deal. Yeah, that was the ultimate. I don't know
if they do this commercially more Southwest Airlines they used
to do they want to get Away commercials. That would
be the ultimate. I want to get away, I want
(28:09):
to get away. Caide writes, and he says, I think
the loss is a step in the wrong direction, because
if you're gonna win the World Cup, no better time
to do it than now, especially when the country is
hosting it and it's America. Two fifty. Yeah, it would
have been the old storybook thing. I've got. I've got
guys like curmudgeon Wayne in Duluth and truck stop Fungus
(28:32):
wearing his tidy white he's eating chili who are arguing
with each other about the show, which is always always great. Doug,
ex pat living in Korea, says Man after that generous
serving of a Pooh sandwich from Team USA, Welcome back
to reality. Turns out the hype train True True had
an emergency stop after all. Now Tommy tapped in. Tommy
(28:56):
in Atlanta's going over righted over rated. Blah blah blah
blah blah. There you go. All right, let's say hello
to who do we have your eeny Meani miny mo
pick a caller by say, I asked you before we
do that. I don't want to get so the malor palooza.
Get to the point place. Oh yeah, this is huge,
(29:19):
My god, how lucky are we The Malor Palooza is
just days away. It is just you know, I'm so

USA losing four to one to Belgium and they made
a big deal on the broadcast because a bunch of
people from Belgium were staying up till two thirty in
the morning. I'm like, Okay, that's not that late, Like,
what's about it?
Speaker 3 (30:00):
All?
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Right? Now to the Malapalooza, Now to the Mallord Palooza,
the Moment of truth. Here we go. We have a
date now. Today is our Tuesday show, Monday into Tuesday,
so July seventh, it's still late Monday on the West
Coast and in Hawaii where Dorko the comedian lives. The
(30:23):
date we have selected for the Malor Palooza is drum roll,
Please can get me in the mood here with a
drum roll, Do we have a drum roll? Here we go,
Here we go. This is very exciting. Here this is
from there we go? All right. The Malapaluza twenty twenty
six will take place on the one hundred and ninety
(30:45):
sixth day of the year, better known by its gangster name,
July fifteenth. July fifteenth, Yeah, that is a Wednesday in
a Thursday. So Wednesday in or a Thursday, a hump
day late into a Thursday, and that is the day
(31:07):
after the MLB Midsummer Classics. So the malad Pluza will
take place that night. And what is the malard Palooza.
It's a little bit of everything. It's singing, it's no
dancing because we can't see you. It's jokes, it's impersonations.
Whatever you think can get the attention of the voters.
(31:32):
Whatever you think can get the attention to the voters,
you will have the opportunity of entertaining. You can do
a little stand up. We don't recommend that. Years past
people have done it. We had when of the kids
brought his sister on. Remember last year we had it
was two years ago, I have to believe. So we've
had that We've had classically trained musicians who we didn't
(31:53):
know were classically trained musicians who performed. It's gonna be
a lot of fun, and the judges will be my set.
We'll also have Lorena and Coop and we will have
a celebrity judge representing the people. We're not one hundred
percent sure who that celebrity judge is going to be yet.
There's a couple of options that we have. I think
(32:14):
I have that nailed down to not official official yet,
so we will have the Mallard Palooza. Some of you
have been preparing for a long time for this event,
others not so much. Now. A couple of things we
want you to perform live. We realize not everyone can.
Our friend Kathy and Madison. I would say Kathy the
(32:34):
biggest breakout star the Malapalooza, the Hey Mona woman, I mean,
just guys melting when they hear that Hey Mona, I
mean the hottest female singer I've ever heard. Kathy and
Madison and she can't call in because of her living situation.
So I get that we don't want ai AI's crazy
wild all that. That's fine if I just wanted to
(32:57):
do it for the bots. I would do it for
the bus, but I want to celebrate eight human beings.
It's shocking, like real talent that people have. I understand
they've been recording us and doctor that's Mona. That's Kathy
and Madison singing, Hey Mona. So Malapaluza marking on your calendar.
That'll be coming up here July fifteenth. July fifteenth, that
(33:21):
is the date and we're looking forward to it. So
make sure that you have something for that. Now, if
you want to sign up, you want to be part
of the Malapalooza, you do have to schedule a time
or let us know. You can submit things that you've
already recorded or in the process of recording. Again, the judging,
it's we lean more towards the people that call in.
(33:44):
I'm just gonna be honest with you. That's the way
it is. So you're gonna be downgraded a little bit.
And if we determine it's AI, we might play it,
but we're not gonna really give you any points for
that because I could type stuff in and get a
bunch of great songs and all that AI is bad
for the environment. Well, whatever the point is, we want
(34:06):
to celebrate human beings because the slogan for now is
guaranteed human. So we would like to celebrate our fellow men,
women and children, although there are no kids that take
part in this Gil in San Diego, right sin, he says,
everyone pretending to care about soccer, Can we just move
on now and get to foot more American football? Well,
(34:30):
yes we can, and we will have American football training
camps will be opening up in what are we looking at?
Less than twenty days now, less than twenty days to
NFL training camp, which sounds great. Training camp is a
good way for players to get hurt, and then they
have exhibition games where the stars don't play and more
players get hurt, and then eventually they get to the
(34:52):
regular season where more players get hurt. However, listen, we
enjoy the game. We little the games again. Well soon
soon the games will begin. If you want to hit
us up on X at ben mallor yeah, let's say
loo to the man, the myth, the legend. He's back,
Anthony Ian Louisiana. Hello, Anthony, welcome. If I was any better,
(35:20):
I'd be a goalkeeper, but not the goalkeeper for Team
USA because he well, he's stunk. You got beat. Hum.
Oh did they lose? They lost Lorena? Yeah? Is that right?
Who is that? Breaking news? Team? USA lost Ford to one?
I believe that might be breaking news. Anthony getting your time?
(35:42):
Hearing of it? I'd never I didn't do a twenty
minute monologue on it. No, god, no, yeah, what's up? Anthony?
Have you know you always call in this night? You
didn't call in last night. But we're on like the
night earlier. You know that?
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Right?
Speaker 4 (35:54):
No? Oh?
Speaker 1 (35:56):
How to last Oh? It was magic. I sat on
my ass, I watch the baseball. I ate bad food,
ate some corn dogs and doesn't get more American than
a corn dog, a hot dog wrapped in corn.
Speaker 4 (36:08):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (36:08):
And then that was it? What about you? How about you?
How about you? Anthony? Everything good with you? Yes? Yeah? Good? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (36:17):
I had to go do that.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
There your babcum taking it?
Speaker 3 (36:21):
Really?
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Oh so you had more? You had more traditional barbecue
than I had. I just had a hot dog, which
is not I didn't barbecue it. He also cooked some
greens and my mom would cook. Yeah. I had the
potatoes sat. Yeah. Do you have any corn bread? I
love corn bread. I don't eat corn bread. Corn Bread
well made corn bread is a it's a little slice
of heaven, well made corn honey butter. So good. What upcause, yeah, prayful,
(36:47):
I'm gonna have Oh oh, you're going going to have
a dental procedure, Anthony, Is that right? Yeah? So all right,
well good luck, you have fun. Are you having a
root canal? I'm gonna have some a couple of teeth
taking out that's dead though. Yeah, oh you want to
take care of that clean out. They say in the
(37:08):
in the gardening world, you gotta cut out the dead wood.
So in the mouth you gotta cut out the dead teeth, right,
that's important. Yeah, So y'all have a good week.
Speaker 3 (37:16):
I talked to you next week.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
All right, be careful. We're thinking good thoughts for you.
Anthony out of a straw, all right, there he goes, Anthony.
What a man, the man, the myth legend Anthony in Louisiana.
Fergit or Alfa. Right, so he says, Unfortunately, I'll have
to pass on the mallet pallus and my only skill
is juggling cats. That doesn't really work on radio. Ferg
Dog says, you know what's bad for the environment, air conditioning.
(37:39):
But I'm keeping my thermostat at a frosty fifty degrees.
Good job by you. Absolutely that's the way to do it.
