Speaker 1 (00:00):
Boom, Shaka laka. It's our number one, our one. Ready
for some fun. Yeah, but dabad, it's all about the
recap from the weekend and a lot of chatters, the
better stories in the losing locker room.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
As we begin a new week of The.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Ben mal Show, where are you at on Wimby failing
to congratulate the Knicks after the NBA Finals, he stormed
off the court a loser. Also, how much damage did
Spurs star Victor Winbanyamadu to his brand with the choking
in clutch time and leaving early and all.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Of that stuff.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Also, does coach Mitch Johnson deserve to keep his job
with the Spurs or should he be let go after
continuing to play Daron Fox game after game while Fox
was terrible and his team falling apart on a nightly
basis in the NBA Finals. We'll talk about all that
and more right now here. It is our number one.

(01:04):
We'll call it what it was. It was the Whimby
wobble over the weekend. Welcome in the beginning of another
night of The Bend Malor Show, another week of the program.
As we are side by side here in the air
of reware constituents.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
As some say, we need no introduction.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Coast to coast, border to border and beyond on.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
The vast and.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Satisfyingly powerful microphones of fsre amminating live from the box.
What's in the box, It's the soapbox, as we are
actually on top of the soapbox. Caaronteed human from the
world famous.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Fox Sports Radio Studios, where.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
The ostrich ant reminds us that this hour made possible
in part by our friends at ty Iraq. For for
forty years, ty rack has been helping customers like Malarprop, Guy,

and where they drive ship fast and free back by

Fergdog and al for all nodding their.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Head in approval.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
And also I got a message from the Bourbon Badger
who was very excited about the hockey the Bourbon Badger,
and the Bourbon Badger said, let the people know about
home depot, and I said, yes, upgrade your FIFA World
Cup twenty twenty six. Set up, build it like Beckham
from living room to lawn with the home depot and

(02:47):
take the fast free delivery. Assist the home Depot. Official
FIFA World Cup twenty twenty six support a subject to availability,
so our leave this hour. I'm gonna start with the
the end of the NBA postseason, which happened over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
We'll go to San Antonio. They did it again. They
did nothing about the Knicks.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Now, there's plenty of people licking the toes of Jalen
Brunson and making sure that the bottom of the feet
of Karl Anthony Towns are nice and clean. So the
Knicks got the ring over the weekend. The better story, though,
is in the losing locker room. The heavily favorite San
Antonio Spurs sucked at a time you cannot suck. If

(03:30):
you didn't see the game on Saturday, you might have
missed it. But Victor wem Banyama yet again not doing.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Much with the game on the line.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
There he missed the final shot of the NBA Finals
and then he untucked his jersey and he marched off
the court and said that's it, that's all, I'm done
and went straight towards the locker room. No congratulatory handshake
from Victor Weimbanyama add all there as the Knicks get

(04:02):
the title and Wemby getting out of there as quick
as possible.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Someone were wondering was he gonna sit there and soak it.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
All the in saying that should have been mine, that
should have been my championship. He did not do that.
He did not remain. He skid daddled, ran off to
the locker room and then to the podium where he
was a bit of a douche, and then into the offseason.
So that is a good jumping off point. Let us

(04:30):
discuss the question where are you at on Wemby failing
to congratulate the Knicks after the NBA Finals had come
to an end on Saturday. The Spurs star apparently too
good for that, as he ran back and said, you
know what, I'm done.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I'm out of here.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
I'm gonna go to the locker room because I don't
want to see any of this and I want to
congratulate you and beating my head in in the fourth
quarter of every game. So I've got inventor zip code
and and New York Times best seller, and we will
combine all of these things together and we're gonna become
a fire breathing dragon is what we're going to become.

(05:11):
So a this is one of those cases. Give me,
you're tired, you're poor, your young superstar who cannot stay
for a handshake or a dap, none of that stuff.
Cannot do it, cannot do it. And let's be reheard.
When I saw the end of the finals over the weekend,
the ending from the Wemby side of things, with everything

(05:31):
that had been invested into this guy and how little
he did when the game mattered most rotten. I wrote
down the word rotten. The whole thing was rotten for
Victor Wemba Yama, and I don't want to hear all
the excuse so young, oh young, he's gonna be back
every year.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
We don't know that.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
For every one of these guys that keeps returning, there's
a bunch that don't return. And I can give you
plenty of examples historically in all different sports. So this assumption,
you know what happens when you assume that Wemby's going
to be a staple in the NBA finals. I was
not impressed with what I saw. I was not impressed
considering all the build up and all the drama o rama.

(06:12):
What I saw from Wemby was simply not good enough
and walking off the court.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
That was not the walk of shame.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
It was the walk of don't make eye contact with
the team that actually kicked my ass and embarrassed me.
Don't do that and henna leave before he vanished. Wemby
seven foot four. It's hard to.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Vanish when you're seven foot four.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
But like a magician, abra cadabra, hocus pocus, or he's
just allergic.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
To accountability, either one of those things. But he was gone.
And we've seen this script before.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
But typically if you go to the annals of the NBA,
the people that pull that off, that walk off the
court with a sour puss like Wemby did after losing
the NBA Finals, they belonged to harden villains of basketball.
The greatest example would be the Bad Boys Bad Boys,
the Bad Boy Pistons back in the day, led by

(07:04):
Isaiah Thomas, who famously stormed off the court. And that
was back in the early nineties. We're talking about almost
forty years ago, when they were all upset because the
Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan had beaten them and they
didn't want to watch the Bulls celebrate, so they left
early and all that. Now, when we didn't leave early,
he stayed until the end of the game. Then he
high tailed it and said, I got to get out

(07:26):
of here. The difference is the other players that I
and I can recall that have done that were battle tested.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
They were heavyweights, and Wemby looks.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Just like a lightweight, like the whole thing, and he
hasn't earned the right to be that. What's the word
I'm looking for that that have the temper tantrum that
he had. We'll call it like that for Victor Wimanyama
and the basketball world spent all year, but certainly in
the playoffs here just telling us how he was built

(07:58):
for the moment.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
He was different, and I believe I bought into the hype.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Oh yeah. Everything i'd seen is like, this is the
this is the stage. Here we go. It's a launching
pad to the moon, to the moon, to the moon,
to the moon, to the.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Moon to the moon.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Instead, as we mentioned in a previous episode, Wemby got
his pilot's license. He's now qualified to fly the Vomit comet.
And they did that time and again, time and again,
and he is an inventor. Though I will say this
for Wemby, he's an inventor. He literally has invented the
French goodbye two point zero. You've heard of French leave,
Well that's Wemby right there. He exited the finals without

(08:34):
without informing the NBA or saying goodbye. So so I'm
out of here, see you later. And the Spurs, they
love to preach about the culture, the San Antonio Spurs
culture put in there by Greg Popovich back in the day,
and they're good to go and all that and okay,
well their franchise savior, the Spurs culture. His culture is pouting,

(08:57):
capital p pouting.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
That's what he did.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
And the historical context on this when Isaiah Thomas walked
off the court, and that was many, many years ago,
as we said, it took him a long time to
live that down in terms of his reputation. Some say
he never did live that down. Isaiah Thomas, whos still
to this day bitter and broken with Michael Jordan, although

(09:20):
that's over the Olympic team. Old guys holding a grudge,
which is never bad. It's always fun when old guys
hold a grudge. But at twenty two years old for Wemby,
and he can't accept the sucking that took place out there.
And he's supposed to be the next face of the
NBA and here we go and the whole thing and
he can't even stay on the floor. You got to

(09:42):
take your medicine, and he didn't want to take his medicine,
which tells you a lot about how he's wired. And
it's not a good sign. I would be very concerned
if I was in San Antonio Spurs about this guy,
very concerned. The way he handled himself. The whole thing
was not good, not good.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
It all all right.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Now, overall, Victor won Banyama. If you look at the numbers,
he averaged twenty six points, eleven rebounds and three and
a half block shots in the finals, said whoa wousers,
wowie Kauzawi.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
You know that whole thing.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Twenty six points, eleven rebounds and three and a half blocks.
And the Spurs led by double digits in every single game,
every single game of the series. And they blew leads
obviously in four of the five games. And when Banyama
made some critical mistakes in three of the four losses,
and I wrote down three or four, could have even

(10:39):
been all four, but certainly three of the four. Now,
I will point out that the box score humpers, as
we call them, the snot bonditos. They love their box scores.
Oh you kid, yeah, but yeah, but yeah, but yeah,
but yeah, but yeah, but rabbit. Yeah but wemb he
averaged twenty six points and eleven REU three plugs.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
You can't be critical of Webby. He had the stats.
You know, it's ridiculous. You can't rip him.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Okay, what a bet. There is nuance to this. There
is nuance to this. And with the game on the line,
where was he where?

Speaker 3 (11:17):
I don't know?

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Did you see?

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I didn't see Wemby. Did you see Wemby? Where'd he go?
He did the wobble, the wobble, wobble, wobble.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
What the heck?

Speaker 4 (11:24):
All right?

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Now?

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Question how much damage? How much damage did the Spurs
franchise player Victor womb Yama due to his brand with
the walking off the court. We've already talked about that. Now,
the way he played in key moments of the NBA

(11:45):
Finals and all that. So I go back to the point.
The NBA marketing arm did a tremendous job of building
up the myth of this guy, and Wemby responded to
all of that high and he went out there on
seemingly live television with a global audience, and he made

(12:08):
an episode of MythBusters, and he just busted the myth
right there on the biggest stage with everyone watching who
cares about basketball, the NBA Finals. He went out there
and laid an egg so large, How large was it?
It was so large that it needed its own ZIP code,
That's how big an egg it was. When the game mattered,

(12:30):
he got cooked, he was buttered and served up.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
All of that.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Happened right there there you go on the TV delivering
a performance down the stretch that was so soft?

Speaker 2 (12:43):
How soft was it? Thanks for asking?

Speaker 1 (12:45):
It was so soft that you needed to store it
in some tupperware and put that aside from everything else
in the fridge. To put that tupperware right there. And
with every game lost within more than reached. They had
double digit leads early in most of those games, some
even in the fourth quarter, and Wemby down the stretch

(13:07):
with opportunities to win the game and he could step
on up for the Spurs. He was petrified, terrified, and
zombified by the Knicks or the momon or all of that.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Whatever. Pick your poison, Pick your poison.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
My guy, he just caught in his bank of fog
and he couldn't see his way out, and he just
was stuck there.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
And it just.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Sucked and wandering around like a rumba stuck in a
corner and it can't get away from the corner.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
It's like, dude, you got to back up a little bit.
What are you doing? And so we keep.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Hearing about the unicorn, the unicorn, the unicorn, and there's
no one like him, and he's built different. Well, I
I've seen plenty of guys in my time that sucked
in big games. I don't know about you. He looked
like every other guy that sucks in big moments. What's
different about Wemby. He played well for a stretch of
the game, maybe seventy five percent of the game, and
then just free falling.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
There was a Kamikaze mission there at the end.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
So the unicorn, this the unicorn, that all of that,
and this was like a horse headed to the glue
factory watching the way he played down the stretch of
these games. Victor, when Manyama the Parisian prodigy good nickname
Parisian Prodigy turned into the Parisian puddle in evaporating in winning.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Time, it was winning time, and well not quite.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Didn't quite work out there When it was winning time,
it turned out to be losing time and slightly problematic. Yeah,
so it was crunch time Keemolm, final five minutes of
the fourth quarter, and he was not He was not
taking a punch. He was not making a punch. He

(14:57):
was out to brunch is what he was doing, all right.
He wasn't throwing punches. He was out the brunch, sipping
a mimosa, having a fine time there and needed to
throw a punch and either didn't know how to do
that or chose to not do that.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
So it was it was a mess.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
So I sum this all up. The brand is absolutely damaged.
It's bruised, it's swollen, it's on crutches right now. It
needs some medication to make the brand back better. My god,
you cannot be the face of that sport, the face
of the NBA, right and then when the moment is there,

(15:41):
it slaps you in the face. It it's a problem.
Oh you're nitpicking, Mallard. I don't think I am.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
I don't think I am.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
All right. That stank. Those kooties are gonna last for
a while. And there's no guarantee this guy's back every year.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
And not just him.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
You look Aroun on the Spurs roster and certainly he's
the centerpiece.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
So we're gonna focus on Wenby.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
But that brings us to the last part of this diatribe,
the coaching part of the puzzle, and that is a
major issue.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Now.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Ultimately, I don't think coaching matters too much in the NBA.
It can hurt you. I don't know that it helps
you that much, and in this case, that was a
net zero for the San Antonio Spurs. So the question,
does coach Mitch Johnson deserve to keep his job on
the sidelines for the Spurs after that epic blown lead

(16:33):
Paloosa in the NBA Finals. So if I own the team,
hell no, he would be out. See you later. Mitch Johnson,
who seems like a nice enough guy. He would not
have made it to the post finals news conference. I
would have said, listen, don't even bother, all right, you
don't work for us anymore, get out of here. And

(16:54):
the Spurs they didn't just lose in the final. Obviously
Wenby was the biggest culprit in this. They didn't just
losing the finals slow. The Spurs gift wrapped, absolutely, gift
wrapped it with a nice bow on top, and then
hand delivered these games, many of them to the Knicks.
I wasn't overly impressed with anything the Knicks did other
than not give up. It was just, hey, keep playing hard.
The Spurs have a glitch. The doo hickey doesn't work.

(17:18):
And no matter what this cat Mitch Johnson did, it
didn't seem like he did much of anything. For several games,
people were saying, hey, don't play the Aaron Fox. The
guy's a bomb, and he kept put him out there
a big moments. And this is the hubris of these
guys in the San Antonio Spurs organization, like we know
better than you.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Well, apparently you don't. This is one where the public
got it right.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
And you're a bunch of Dingleberrys, you're a bunch of
Mama Lukes that you should have sat down to Aaron
Fox for literally anyone. You could have had a fan
raffle and brought somebody in a Spurs season ticket older
although they all sold their tickets so they didn't go
to the game. It looked like Game six over the weekend,
my god, or Game five, I guess it was over
the weekend. Can even make it the game six? Forget
about that. So anyway, listen, that's the thing now, much

(18:05):
like Wemby, a lot of you dumb thumbs are convinced, well,
the youth thing that that is why he's going to
keep his job. And youth to me is not a
shield at thirty nine, and that's young in the coaching game.
You're thirty nine years old, and at this point, based
on the way he did not adjust in the NBA Finals,

(18:28):
Mitch Johnson, the coach of the San Antonio Spurs, is
He's already a New York Times best selling author. He
wrote Complete Idiots Guide on how not to coach well
in the NBA Finals and be so stubborn, so pigheaded you.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Don't make any key adjustments. They got to be the.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Dumbest team in the world, and that starts from the
coach on the way down. They didn't just collapse down
the stretch these Spurs. They invented new ways to suck
at a time you cannot suck blowing combined.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
I did the math on this.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
If you just go by the biggest lead in each game,
they lost four right, lose four out of five in
the final San Antonio, they blew seventy one points worth
of leads in futzing away those four games and losing
the NBA Finals. That is a that is a lifestyle,

(19:22):
is what That is a twenty nine point blown lead.
That is the thing that we will remember other than
the outcome of this.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
That is the.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Mona Lisa of meltdowns to blow that big a lead.
And from Wemby's hair brain plays to de Aaron Fox,
who they would not get rid of. He had the
historic boner, Fox's boner when he had three options right,
three out. You can either call time out and reset.
They could just just dribble and get fouled and then

(19:52):
go to line or try to run to the basket
and see if you can get a basket.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
And of course that completely backfight.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
But from Wemby's disaster to Taron Fox or the coach,
the whole thing it was sloppy micslop. That's a new item,
so an add on itam at McDonald sloppy mcslop. It's
a McDonald's sloppy Joe is what that is. So as
we always say, you're either coaching it or you're allowing
it to happen. Mitch Johnson, So these Spurs were not outplayed,

(20:19):
That's the thing about. It's like they were not outplayed,
they were out coached and they they had a malfunction
the what you McCall that did not work at the end.
There disaster class, absolute disaster class for the San Antonio Spurs.
So typically in the past someone gets sacrificed. It does
not seem like we're going to get that in San Antonio.

(20:42):
There's a lot of fanboys in the crowd there. They
don't really hold the team accountable in San Antonio. So
I would imagine that there will not be any accountability
if I own the team, though again I would get
rid of Miss Johnson. Is the Bant Mahler Show. If
you'd like to be part eight seven seven ninety nine

Just blackout curtains, you need that, and you need a
nice cool place to sleep here in the summertime, and
you will be perfectly fine. I mean nothing at all
to worry about. What else do we let's see? Natron
writes in from Stockton, and he's ranting about Wemby and

(24:38):
he wants us to use a certain term for oneby
Cowboy Drew who had the Mallard cow I don't think
the Mallard cow is alive anymore, though he said it
was last time. I'm confused about the life of the
Mallard cow. I hope the malar cow is still life.
Cowboy juwicays, can we probably touch my cow?

Speaker 2 (24:53):
That's right?

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Okay, that's my halfer, that's not your half, that's mine.
Cowboy jewicays, can we probably st with the whim beat talk?
It's getting sold well, Cowboy Drew, I don't know what
you're listening to. I have not been on the radio
since the NBA Finals ended. This is the biggest story.
Nothing's bigger than that in the sporting world right now.
So that's what we talked about. Alf the Alien Opiner

(25:16):
rites in from in between Worcester and Springfield and says,
now that hockey and basketball are done, can I count
on you for three baseball and one football monologues per
night going forward? There you go, I'll start hot take validation.
That's from Lucky Tony, he says, for Lucky Tony. Yeah,

(25:40):
so here's the deal. I will certainly talk a lot
of baseball talk baseball later on, and football, although really
the only going on in football now is guys getting arrested.
There's a lot of debauchery going on with NFL players.
I can't keep their nose clean, so that's a bit
of an issue. So if there's stuff to talk about,
we're not going to force it though. Whatever pops up
key in nor Cow rights and it says with san

(26:01):
Antonio clearly disinterested in winning, my Sacramento Kings finally have
a path to the finals. Well, congratulations Keith, because the
Aaron Fox did help Mike Brown win a championship. It
took him playing on the opposite team, but his play
down the stretch was outstanding. Wayne the curmudgeon into Luth complaining.
He says, enough pain, it's over. It's been beaten to

(26:23):
hell on this station again. I don't worry about other shows.
I don't listen to other shows here.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
I do my own thing.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
So if you're too busy listening to every show, that's
that's your thing. That's not my thing. I have not
opined on the NBA Finals. I've not been here, so
I should be. And by the way, I don't care
what other people do. It doesn't matter me. They can
talk about anything they want, tittley wings. It doesn't matter
what else do we have Rob. The goat Man says,

(26:50):
you missed a major opportunity to lead off the show
with the real biggest sports championship of the week, the
UFC Freedom two fifty and again, Rob, that's another thing
like that's a that's called a narrow casting. We do broadcasting.
I don't mention it. It's not a leadoff story. That's
a bad job by you. You don't understand broadcasting, goat man.

(27:13):
If you think that was the top story, it's a
bad job by you.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Shame on you.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
What else do we have? That's the page now, lawn
God Larry writes in and says, I think a lot
of us are burned out on the Wimby talk.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Won't be long. That stupid scataboo name will be all
over the radio. Get off my.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Lawn, all right? So everyone's complaining, man, you guys bitch
about everything. The Baltimore Freeloader account says tremendous monologue on
the French onion Sourpuss Victor Wemba Nyabasi. Here's somebody that
gets it. Unlike you other losers, this guy gets it.
He was a petulant child, says the Baltimore freeloader account.

(27:53):
Although the insufferable New York fans make me sick. They
don't shake hands even but they will turn over your
cab or your bus for free.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
A lot of hudlums there in the Big Apple, right,
a lot of lunatics.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
They're in New York City.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
And they any opportunity, right, any opportunity to cause debauchery.
They are out there and they are going for it
as the Big Apple. After that NBA Finals, the Big
Apple descended into total anarchy for stretches of time, chaos,

(28:33):
The kids run amok. There was somebody got shot, a
teenager got shot. The fans were tearing apart, burning school buses.
The riot cops came running in, and all that because
the Knicks one little hunk of metal. According to Rob Manford,
the Commissioner of Baseball. Yeah, so I'm not sure how

(28:56):
much of this was directly because of the Knicks and
how much of this was just crime happens in the
Big City and anything that happened that night, they're going
to tie into the Knicks. Any person that called nine
to one one it's because of the Knicks, And it's
not always the case. Although I got to tell those
guys in New York, and I know this from living
in La. The find the waymos. Those really burned well,

(29:18):
the school bus. It looked like it two a little
while for that thing to burn. The waymos though in
La when we had the last civil unrest in La.
The lunatics that were burning the weamos. Those things are
like a gas grill. They really burn, really really well.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
It's the batteries that they're made out of, I do believe.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
Yeah, those nineteen sixties school buses not ye, not as good,
not quite as good there.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
So we'll take some calls. It is a call in show.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
And let's see here any meanie, miney mo. Let's go
to Steve, who's in South Dakota.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
What's going on? Steve? Welcome, welcome man. How are you
going now, Steve?

Speaker 1 (29:56):
He's our military veteran. He's seen it, he's lived a life, right,
you have a life. You'd admit that, Steve? Yes, yes, exactly,
all right, Well, welcome to the show, Steve.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
How can we help you?

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Wimby? What stiffy?

Speaker 1 (30:10):
I mean?

Speaker 3 (30:10):
I prayed with French soldiers. They're all stiffies. Wimby that
didn't even flight.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Oh he played not in the fourth quarter like the
last five minutes, but the rest of the game he
played it was like the last five minutes.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
It didn't go so well.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
I don't know how old you are been, but I
remember a guy named Luel Senders, skinny guy, came into
the NBA, went toe to toed with big Wilf Chamberlain. Yea,
Wimby didn't go toe to toe, would No, he picked
on grunt.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Was that?

Speaker 3 (30:43):
Two games? Then three games?

Speaker 2 (30:45):
Well even worse, even worse though.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Steve is the guy that played in the middle for
the next Karl Anthony Towns has been long considered a
pussy willow flower, and he's now an NBA champion and
he did it against women. Be like the butt, that's right,
the butt of all these jokes. I mean, we've been
so many jokes about Karl Anthony Towns and yet and
there were stretches. He didn't play well either. However, he's

(31:10):
on the team that won, and Wemby's on the team
that lost. And Wemby's like God's gift to basketball.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
And that's a joke. I mean, come on, I never
fell for it, you know, I never got on that
band wed Well, there you go.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
See you're Steve. You held it, held your line there
and you were you have memories of French soldiers back
in the day, huh in your military. I love it.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
I love it one more saying one more thing that
that that quarterback from Texas Tech. Now, I gamble. I
love parlays. I do a seven teamer about every week.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Yeah, how much?

Speaker 3 (31:49):
How much?

Speaker 2 (31:50):
How much? How much? That way? How often do you
win those parlays? Are it's a bit of a suckers.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Might have about sixty five percent?

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Really, well, you should be you should be selling your picks.
You should be selling your picks. If you're that good
at him, I got you're probably making a killing you
at me.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
But the majority of my seventeamers, yeah, are the IV Raids.
That is the easiest league.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Well, I remember when the w NBA started, Steve and freely.
For the first twenty five years of the w NBA,
nobody cared about the w n b A and the
sports books. The first couple of years they actually lost
money because there were guys that studied the w n
b A, Nobody watched it, nobody cared about it. And
then they actually they made money on it, so they
had to start paying attention to the sports books, to
the to the.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
W n B.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
All right, well, thank you Steve. We're off to a
good start. The great Steve from South Dakota. All right,
thank you, buddy. There's Steve. Let's say hello to random Ryme.
He's out celebrating Random Rye buggety bugge.

you feel about that?

Speaker 2 (32:59):
I'm disheveled. What do you listen?

Speaker 1 (33:02):
I watched it. I actually was watching the Stanley Cup Final.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
Well, of course nobody was watching it, but it happened.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
No, I watched it.

Speaker 4 (33:10):

Speaker 1 (33:10):

the struggle bus, you got on the winning bus.

Speaker 6 (33:15):

Speaker 2 (33:16):
I swear to god, I did. Yes, I watched it.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Was on.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Prove it.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
I'm gonna do a monologue about it. It's all about bussy,
not not boozy. It's bussy.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Bussy. This guy, the backup goaltender.

Speaker 6 (33:32):
Who yeah, he's he's on fire.

Speaker 2 (33:35):

Speaker 6 (33:36):

traded to.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
The pants I'm upset though.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
I know you're you're in Carolina at random, Ryan, But
I'm upset because, you know, for me, I'm a Torts guy,
and I was hoping towards they'd come back here and
force a Game seven and all that, and towards.

Speaker 6 (33:51):
His team to not Vegas guy, you're a West Coast guy.

Speaker 2 (33:54):

Speaker 1 (33:56):

a time you cannot suck.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
That's a Tortorella quote. I love that guy.

Speaker 6 (34:02):
Oh oh yeah. I saw a lot of him on
the on the TV tonight. The TV picture.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
Yeah, he's a good soundby, so he is.

Speaker 6 (34:10):

Speaker 1 (34:14):
So where's the where's the rally?
