Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hut hut hike. It's our number two. Like a whip saw.
It's our number two. Of the Ben mal Show. We
had the NFL book them the other night. Very popular
bit that we did on the show, and it's appropriate
here in our number two. We start out with the
police blotter. Where does forty nine ers disgruntled wide receiver
(00:22):
Brandon Ayuck's arrest warrant for speeding rank on Benny's big board?
Wink wink, We'll get to that. Also, what message did
Micah Parsons send to the Green Bay Packers stockholders? He
gave a state of his health address and it sounds
like Parsons is not going to be playing at the
beginning of the NFL season for the Green Bay Packers.
(00:45):
Also does running back Alvin Kamara's arrival at OTA's change
his situation in Nolan's we'll take a look at that
and more settle in, have a cup of water. I
so interested to do that. You can do that right there,
No calgaries in the water. And here we go. It
is our number two. Well, how do you go from
(01:11):
somebody that nobody wants to a wanted man? I'll tell you.
Welcome in the beginning of another hour of the Ben
Malor Show. We are in the air and rewhere Bedfellows,
as we are minding the shop coast, the coast, border,
(01:35):
the border and beyond on the vast and supremely powerful
microphones of FSR ammating live from the combo, the combo
meal of the overnight guaranteed human from the world famous
Fox Sports Radio Studios where swamp Billy, I mean the
(01:59):
guy was supposed to do the octagon and then bailed. Yeah,
he reminds us this hour made possible in part by
our friends at tire Iraq. For over forty years, ty
Iraq has been helping customers like Eileen in San Francisco
find the right tires for how, what and where they drive.
Mediocre Kabuki loves that their ship fast and free, backed
(02:21):
by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options like
mobile tire installation tyraq dot Com. The way tire buying
should be. Now the Russian kid, he drives a truck,
and he reminds us that this hour also made possible
in part by our friends at Express Employment Professionals. Tired
(02:43):
of endless job board searches with Express Employment Professionals, one
application connects you to multiple jobs and job seekers. Never
pay a fee. I know far out Dave in Ohio.
His mind is like, whoa, never pay a fee. That's
really good, get weekly pay, local support and real opportunities.
(03:03):
Visit expresspros dot com today. That's expresspros dot com. So
our lead this hour not from the finals. We'll talk
more about that if you want. As the NBA Finals,
Game one goes to the Cockroaches. According to Charles Barkley,
the New York Knickerbockers as Jalen Brunson played terribly for
(03:24):
the first thirty minutes of the game and then at
the end turned it up and the Knicks, who were
down by fourteen, and they come all the way back
and they end up winning by ten. So they got
game one. Unfortunately for New York he does not. I'm
told they single elimination, so the Knicks still have to
win three more games. Wemby paid about as bad as
he can play, and still the Spurs had a shot
(03:46):
late in the fourth quarter, so things looking up. Spurs
in good shape. There our lead this hour, though from
the blotterer, the blotter, the police blodder. Less than twenty
four hours after the Benmall Show, Welcome back our old friend.
The NFL book them. We got action. We got action
in the NFL book them. If you have not heard
(04:08):
by now, maybe not. An NFL player had an arrest
warrant issued for them less than twenty four hours after
the NFL book them. It never fails. We're talking about
forty nine ers wide receiver. I say that, whether winking
or not, because he hasn't played for the Niners in
a long time and he likely won't play for them again. However,
technically he is under contract with the forty nine ers.
(04:29):
We're talking about Brandon Ayuk. A misdemeanor charge, so not
a felony, a misdemeanor charge of what they're calling exhibition
of speed. I even know that was the thing. We
are told that the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office
are the ones that issued the warrant. Now, how did
Brandon Ayuk end up with an arrest warrant? Well, it
(04:51):
all stems from social media, the matrix, and he's so
far immersed in the fakeness of the matrix that he
went for it. There was a video that must have
been posted by some somebody out to get Brandon Ayoc, Right,
maybe it was John Lynch the forty nine or GM, like,
we're gonna stick it to brand and we're gonna post
(05:11):
this video of him doing something bad speeding. No, the
video was posted by the forty nine or Wide receiver
to his own YouTube channel in December of last year,
and they waited all the way through January, February, March, April, May,
and now here we are in early June, and yeah,
it's from that video. In the video, Brandon Aoc has
(05:33):
a need for speed, and he was driving well over
one hundred miles an hour. Now, why is why do
I say that with the evidence I have to prove
that is the speedometer that this numb nuts showed on
the video. He was going one hundred and eleven miles
an hour on Tasman Drive, which I'm told is near
(05:57):
Levi's stadium. The speed limit you want to take you
guess what the speed limit is on the street where
he was going one hundred and eleven miles an hour
forty five let's see, actually less than forty five. How
about forty forty miles an hour forty so that's see
sixty seventy one miles over the seat. You know, I'm
(06:19):
someone that drives. I got a heavy foot. I don't
go that fast. Police investigate, what is there to investigate?
There's the video, that's it, he posted it. They referred
the case to prosecutors in mid January of this year.
So how backed up is the Santa Clara County District
Attorney's office where they got this in mid January? They
waded through all of February, all of March, April, May,
(06:42):
and here in June they say, ye, we're gonna put
an arrest warrant out for this guy. That is a
good jumping off point. Let us discuss. So the question
where does forty nine ers wide receiver Brandon IoK's arrest
Warren for speeding in a video that he posted rank
on banning. He's big board. So my observations on this,
(07:03):
I've got New York Times bestseller, Charter Member, and Twilight Zone,
and we will combine all of these things together and
we are going to go kaboom is what we're going
to do. All right, So number one, number one, number one,
(07:26):
number one one number all right. Stop, So right at
the top, let me tell you something. Benny's big board
for these type of activities. This is Dean list for
dumb ideas right here, and normally we ignore most of
the time speeding tickets. I feel like everyone drives over
(07:46):
the speed limit, you know what I'm saying, Like this
is a common occurrence here. Unless there's an accident like
Miles Garrett now of the Rams, who's had you had
a Homedinger back in the day there in Ohio, there's
some extenuating circumstances. Generally does not make the show. This, though,
is on our radar, And the reason it's on our
(08:07):
radar is because of the level of dumbness that has
been reached here. Brandon Auk has now become a New
York Times best selling author. Congratulations. You can read his book.
It's available wherever you get your books. Complete Idiot's Guide
to being a knucklehead wide receiver in the NFL picking
up a doctorate in poor judgment. Now, this isn't even
(08:30):
the worst thing he's done by far. He already lost
twenty seven million dollars of guaranteed money. Now, after California taxes,
it's about seventeen dollars. But so he lost seventeen dollars
in guaranteed money or twenty seven from the forty nine
ers for malfeasance. He went a wall. He's he ghosted
(08:51):
the team. He hasn't played since shredding his acl mcl
meniscus and his tookis in October of twenty twenty four.
Now John Lynch indicated that that's it, that's all she wrote.
This is it's all over now, and then he's played
his last snap for the Niners. I know Ernesto in
the Bay has broken hearted about that. And no trade
(09:15):
has happened here. We've made it through the draft. He
hasn't been released yet. The Niners are gonna stick it
to him, it would appear. So how do you lose
twenty seven million and then find time to film on
audition tape for The Fast and the Furious franchise. It's
all in the book, completely idiots. Guy to being a
knucklehead wide receiver. Stanford. I understand this may or may
(09:35):
not be true. Stanford is studying Brandon Ayuck. He's a
walking case study in what not to do as a
professional athlete. Now, if IOK were any more committee to
bad decisions, he'd be named employee of the Month, Unforced Errors,
Employee of the month. But wait, there's more. So this
is my favorite part of this story. I was following
(09:57):
along here. So when the video was posted back in
twenty twenty five, at the end of twenty five, if
you were like, whoa, this is crazy, what are you doing?
My god? So Brand and I apologize saying he would
not post speeding content anymore. And then the day that
I'm hand to God, all right, hand to gud, the
day the warrant broke in the media, Brand and I
(10:21):
posted on Instagram content at a racetrack in a Mercedes.
You can't mean like I guess at least he was
at a racetrack. So the theory is nobody wants him
otherwise than Niners would have traded him. So this is
his way to feel wanted. This is his way. Nobody
(10:41):
wants me, but the cops want me. They want to
talk to me. This should help my trade value. Any
publicity is good publicity. The man's in all pro and
poor decisions, not on the field. And if you want
somebody that can make bad decisions, Brandon Iyuk's going to
be your guy all right now. Page two, Green Bay
the frozen tundra lambou Field with a gift shop the
(11:06):
size of a costco at lambeau Field, with every kind
of foam cheesehead you could possibly want. So the green
Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons remember him, Yeah, about
that guy. So he spoke publicly for the first time
since the end of last season. I know we're hanging
on every word from Micah Parsons, every single word his
(11:27):
ACL recovery. Now the Packers are following, according to Parsons,
a strict nine month recovery plan. Nine month plan that
means using malar math, all right, that means using malar math,
Parsons will miss the first month of the NFL season.
(11:49):
Now the word on the street is realistically he will
not return to the very earliest would be week five
in that classic Green Bay Chicago game versus the Bears,
or week six for the Packers against that team he
used to play for, the Dallas Cowboys. That's if everything
goes smooth. Michael was ah, I'm extremely happy with the
(12:09):
progress and all that, all that standard fare, and he's
been doing most of his rehab in Texas. He recently
returned to Green Bay because of OTA's He called the
Packers trainer. His wife which okay, and he is the
NFL's highest paid defensive player and average annual value, and
(12:32):
that's where we are. He says he's just gonna be
one hundred percent when he comes back, and that's it,
all right. So the question what message did Micah Parsons
send to the Packers stockholders his recovery timeline. So you're
paying a guy forty seven million a year and he's
telling you that he's only gonna come back when he's
(12:54):
one hundred percent, which tells you there's no real urgency.
And he's the charter member of the will get they're
eventually club. And in today's NFL, you could be the
highest paid defender and say, yeah, you know, when I
get there, I get there. You know it's not that's
not bad. If I was making that kind of money,
(13:15):
that kind of dough, I'd feel guilty. I would like,
I don't make anywhere near what Cowherd and some of
these guys that work at this place make, and nor
should I do the Overnight show. However, let me tell you,
if I miss a show, I feel bad, Like if
I have to take time off to do stuff, you know,
growing up stuff, or I have to go somewhere with
(13:35):
the fam. I feel bad. I'm like, oh man, I
feel like I'm letting people down. This was sugar naugh
Michael Parsons. There is no shame in his game. None.
I'm jealous. I am jealous. I'm not wired that way.
Like I feel guilty if I if I miss a
work assignment. He does not clearly patience is easy. I
guess when you're making forty seven million dollars a year,
you don't have a rush back. The nine month no
(13:57):
football rule that Parsons claim the Green Bay pack have,
that's not rehab. That's that's like maternity leave. Right, is
he pregnant? Do we do maybe that we know who
the wife is. Now Parsons claims there are no good
outcomes from coming back early. That's what he said, And
I'm sure there there aren't many good outcomes either from
(14:18):
starting the season with your supposedly star defensive player walking
along the sidelines or sitting in a luxury suite. The
Packers defense will be walking into September in the danger zone.
Danger danger, danger, danger zone. And that's a fact, Jack,
That is a fact, Jack, even if your name's not Jack. Now,
(14:39):
Parsons he returned to the OTAs the way a celebrity
returns to a hometown parade briefly, and he had a
camera crew following him around. That's how that went, all right.
Final point Todd Narlin's we go another ongoing off season
soap opera playing out. We need to rediscover this. Alvin
(15:02):
Kamara can be yours if you just make an offer.
The price doesn't even have to be right. The price
does not have to be right. Yeah. So Alvin Kamar
showed up to the Saints Ota practices this week after
skipping voluntary workouts earlier in the offseason. Okay, fine. He
stated that there's no beef or bad blood, none of
(15:25):
that with the Saints organization, all the uncertainty about his future.
Kellen Moore, who for some reason is still coaching there,
said it's good to have Alvin Kamara back. Well, that's
a shocking take. Nobody else had that. So a head
coach thinks it's good to have one of his players back. Okay, now,
Alvin Kamara emphasized that he'll keep training to be ready
(15:46):
and the rest will be determined when everyone compares their notes.
So the question for the esteem panel, does Alvin Kamara's
arrival at OTA's change his situation in New Orleans. So
I am nodding my head. Yes, these guys are worlds apart. Here.
(16:09):
Alvin Kamar shows up absolutely changing the temperature in the Bayou.
And I'll tell you why. It's the NFL's version of Hey,
I'm available if you're interested, and if I'm out there
playing and I'm running around and all of a sudden,
lickety split snap, crackle pop, and then you gotta pay
(16:33):
me some money. All right. And look, Alvin Kamar is
in the twilight zone. We all know it, entering the
final year of his contract. He's there, he's present now,
He's been productive, although starting to show signs of slowing down.
That's why the team went out to replace him. And
so he's there. He's got one foot in and one
foot out and you shake it all about, and he's
(16:55):
got that lame duck status. Micah Parsons in, Yeah, Michael,
Michael Baron, Alvin Kamara has the lame duck status. So
Alvin Kamara, all right, the Saints running back here. If
you look at the fine print, when you are in
the last year, they call that the lame dock and
all that stuff, and so when you look at Kamara
and that contray, it translates to one thing. Pack light,
(17:21):
just bring a carry on. You're not gonna be there long.
The writing has been on the wall, the graffiti has
been on the wall since March. The Saints went out
in free agency and signed former Jacksonville running back Travis
h Chan formerly known as Etn as the new featured back.
And so, while Alvin Kamara has been a New Orleans
(17:41):
staple since way back in twenty seventeen, a little kid
back in twenty seventeen, the Grandfather clock is starting to
tick tick tick tic tic tic tic tic tick. You
can hear it. You can hear the Grandfather clock ticking away.
Make no mistake, Alvin Kamara is not going to compete
for his old job that's already been given to somebody else.
(18:03):
He's competing for which off ramp he's going to take,
which exit he's going to take. That's really the only
question here. New Orleans is not all of a sudden
hoping that Kamara returns to form. They've already moved on.
They're just hoping that he shows enough that somebody gets
attracted to the idea of taking a hop, skip and
a jump and adding Alvin Kamara to their team. So
(18:27):
there we go. It is the Ben Mahlor Show. If
you would like to be part you can join us

known people in sports got caught by the paparazzi and
then did what It's a pretty funny story. We've got that.
Also with the World Cup coming up, I'm told that's important.
(19:14):
The people at FIFA have been sued for one of
the more unusual things you can be sued for. We'll
get to that as well. We'll do it all and
we will do it next.

(21:32):
So please act accordingly or Doc Dan will come hunt
you down. And if that doesn't work, no, St Denis
will hunt you down. If that doesn't work, your feemi,
we'll find you. Do you understand? Thank you? Now, the
Baltimore media freeloaders account rights and says, thank goodness, you
don't have many insufferable Nick fans calling into your show
or even Jeremy Lynn. Yeah, did you did you see?
(21:57):
I was watching the game and then they went to
the studio stuff, and I watched Barkley and those guys,
and I had the TV on and then I pressed
the mute button and I didn't turn off the TV.
And then next thing I know, they had Jeremy Lynn
on whatever. I don't know, whatever show was on after
the show that I was trying to watch. Yet Jeremy Lynn,
(22:18):
who was one of the great one hit wonders in
the history of sports for the Knickerbockers back in the day,
And how does that work? Like there's somebody at ESPN's like, hey,
let's get let's get a former Nick. Who are we
going to get Jeremy Lynn? How do we find him?
I don't know where the hell's you? I don't I
have no idea. He didn't make a lot of money,
Jeremy Lynn. I it might have made more money in
(22:40):
merch sales and things like that, but he really only
had a couple of years where he was like, WHOA,
this guy's doing something. He didn't get paid for it.
And I think he only played for the Knicks like
one season.
Speaker 5 (22:52):
Right.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
It was a wild time though, twenty eleven, twenty twelve.
My favorite part of the Jeremy Lynn story, Lynn say,
I was when I was out there the Knicks were playing.
I think it was like the Lakers on a Sunday night,
and they the Knicks were terrible. Mike D'Antoni was the
coach of the Knicks and they had gotten smoked by
the Golden State Warriors. As I remember the story, I
(23:13):
think they were playing Golden State. It was somewhere on
the West Coast. They lost a couple of days earlier,
and in garbage time, Jeremy Lynn got in and played
pretty well, right, but he hadn't This was not insanity yet.
So one of the beat writers for the New York
Post starts asking questions about Jeremy Lynn right at the
(23:36):
very end of the news conference, and Mike D'Antoni kind
of just dismissed it. And then the news conference ended
and D'Antoni, I'll never forget that. Mike D'Antoni, he said,
kind of half off the record, I think I think
the statute of limitations has wrent out. And he told
the guy, he said, listen, the guy he's you know,
he's just he's just a bench guy. He's not that great.
(23:56):
You know that. That's essentially what he said. I'm paraphrasing,
that's essentially what d'An toni said about Jeremy Lynn. And
he was right in the end. However, for like four months,
Jeremy Lynn was the most exciting thing in the NBA
for about four months. I don't even know if it
was that long. It might have been even less than that,
might have been even less than that. Let's see what
(24:18):
kind of food spread do you think they have at
the NBA Finals. I'm asking for a friend. Yeah, so
not that good. Un I'd say the worst is the
World Series. They used to give you a box lunch
at the World Series. Now I think they give you
a meal voucher for like twenty bucks, which will buy
you half a bag of peanuts because they price gouge
(24:42):
everyone at baseball at the World Series. So the World
Series by far the worst. Basketball's average slightly better than
the regular season. I've never been to a Super Bowl,
so I don't know what that's like. And the Stanley
Cup Final for media freeloaders, as you know, is the
gold standard.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
That is.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
Am I in heaven. No, if I do go to heaven, someday,
this will be the food I'll be eating in heaven.
That'll be the same, the same food. So I was
reading the tabloids. I do that so you do not
have to read the tabloids. It is my public service
to you. So I was looking. I don't even know
what I was looking for. To be honestly, I have
(25:25):
no idea. I just kind of scanned the headlines and
I'm like, okay, what's going on here? And know all that.
So I'm scanning the headlines and then I see this
one and I'm like, whoa wait a minute. And the
tabloid headline is NBA star spotted with mystery woman. So
I'm like, okay, that's somewhat interesting, you know, I'm in
(25:47):
on that. So I clicked it and it is Kevin Durant,
who's he lives in LA in the off season. So
Durant is with a mystery woman. Now that's not to me.
The story here. What do you think Kevin Durant did
when he realized there were paparazzo taking photos? What do
(26:09):
you need to do? I'll tell you what he did.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
I'm curious.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
What did he do?
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Yeah? So Kevin Durant is at Nobu in Malibu? Right
have you ever been to Nobu? Very trendy spot. A
lot of the rich fs loved to go and hang out,
so yeah, very fancy, very elitist. Did not bathrooms. It
was saved. They saved that houses burned in Malibu, but
they saved Nobu because the people need to go eat.
(26:34):
So Kevin Durant was spotted by the proparazzo leaving this
famous restaurant in Malibu with his mystery one. When he
realized the paparazza were taking photos, he tried to hide
behind some trees. No, he did. He tried to die.
He tried to hide, which is it's hilarious because he's
(26:56):
six foot eleven. How do you what are you doing?
Can't hide behin a tree? Like it's hilarious. Now I
don't understand, and somebody smarter than me can explain. We
had a similar situation a couple of months ago with
Aaron Rodgers who has a house in Malibu and was
complaining because the paparazzo were following him around. And it's
(27:18):
the simpy like, if you're in certain spots, if you're
in Beverly Hills or Malibu in southern California, and there's
a few other places, that's where the paparazzi hang out.
So what if you want privacy, you know, go to Solving, Okay,
you'll get some privacy there. That's a little Yeah, don't
(27:39):
go to Nobu in Malibu. What that is The opposite
of being hit. It like you're literally asking to be
seen exactly and you're like you said, you're tall, you
can't hide. No, no, It was hilarious though. Kevin Durant,
I love it because he's like a child. He just
all he does is played. He's on social media time,
(28:01):
plays video games, of smokes weed and plays basketball. Like
that's the guy's life. What a life. Let's say hello
to blind Scott, who knows the thing or two about
all that. Blind Scott is on the North end of Boston. Hello,
blind Scott.
Speaker 6 (28:15):
Oh hey, what's up? Ben? There's this city. It's in Germany.
I want you to write it down because we're going
to have a meet and greets there and spell z
w i ckau. It's in East Jerremany. It's where my
dad's family was from. So like I've got my uncle
Rudolph and Geezler to listen to the show there, Like
it would be great to go there because that's where
my family's from, an expoint lot and we're going to
(28:35):
get a documentary about this paranoid schizophrenia to try to
see where it's from. So my dad brooked there. Used
to have to walk there, like he was from East Germany,
my dad. So my dad's like a real narcissistic guy.
Like so when I grew up in the eighties, my
dad used to tell me all these stories about like
East Germany and the communism take over there because he
used to come back and cross the board to visit
(28:56):
his family. So like I have this genetic disease like
to blindness and autism, autism disease. So like my aunt Josephine,
she was a schizophrenic in Boston. They put her in
like in a convent and like chapter brain, and she
lived in there and never left. So like schizophrenia and paranoia,
schizophrena is link to radio because a lot of schizophrenic
listen to radio, because I did go to the Schizophrenic
(29:18):
Institute and meet all Ben Malloch's listeners like twenty years ago,
and since then they demolished it in Boston. But the
thing is, I can get a documentary deal on this
because there's a lot of radio listeners that have schizophrenia.
So I think I could sell this.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
But I'm all, yeah, I got an idea. How about
we get a documentary about the show. We'll do a
deal with Netflix or Amazon. I'm open or Tube. I'm
open with Toby, and then we'll do a documentary about
the show. And then we'll have camera CRUs following Blind
Scott around and some of the other famous listeners to
the show. We can have the alf Cam, the Hoosier
(29:49):
Bill Cam, the Scrooge in the Bay Area cam, Shane
and des Moines, Mister Irrigation, like all these legends on
the show, and we can go behind the scenes on
how it all works. Right, how great a documentary was.
Speaker 6 (30:00):
I'll be cool with these guys, like I don't really
dislike the audience. That was just me a boy when
I had been fighting with the audience for years. That
settled that with everybody. I'm not against anybody. We need
to unite as a show. The show might be in
trouble because radio's in trouble. We need to gain shares
on the show. We need private equity money. This show
could be reformatted in other directions too, if it ever
has any issues with the company. So this is something
(30:22):
we need to do, and I don't necessarily need to
be the founder of this idea. We could do any
type of documentary that has to do with the show.
It doesn't have to be my idea. I'm not trying
to be the star. I'm just driving the content on
the show. Because Halloween James comes on in fut and
he's a great guy too. Hollering James is involved. He's
Hollering James is the star of the documentary. He'll be interviewed,
but we need.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
Someone on James will do like a sleep study on
Hollering James. How the guy can talk and fart at
the same time. Yes, which you do.
Speaker 6 (30:50):
Mike the Leprecaun to go to detalks too, because he'd
be more useful if he started drinking, because that alcohol
is a wicked depressant. And I like Mike the Leprecawn.
He's a wicked nice guy. Consider him friend. He should
come down here right now. We'll meet in my apartment
and we'll talk about it right now. I just heard
a Hell's Angels motorcycle drive by a few minutes ago.
To it made me real nervous.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Bro.
Speaker 6 (31:08):
It's like circle in the neighborhood. Man, I don't know
what's going on. The Hell's Angels are in the North End,
but they don't have that many members. But you know
the Teamsters Union, like that guy Danny de Beatle. You
don't call the show anymore. Maybe it's himmy he's driving
around his bike around the neighbor. Did he drive a
bike to the meet and greet? Did you see him there?
Did you know he had I don't know.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
I don't know how you know he didn't drive a bike.
He was He's wearing nice clothes and he was dressed
all right.
Speaker 6 (31:30):
Yeah, he's just something else. That's what those guys look
like from that town. That's Revere. It's one town over.
I hate that town. I hate Revere. Those guys are
all wannabes, you know, the teams res union jump jump
garbage guys. You know what I'm saying. We'll have them
in the union too. Well, we'll get in a fight
about the Teamsters union.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Scott, No Sell, You got to pitch this guy, do
the elevator pitch. Contact the TV networks, make sure we
get a deal. Why don't we try to get it
for football season and we can do a weekly thing
and we'll have like, uh, you know, several episodes. We
can do a mini series. I think that whatever they're
calling it now not a mini series.
Speaker 6 (32:05):
I pitched it to Fredecher. We could use those team
starts Union guys because they have all the contracts in
the visits, so Danny de Vito could help us. They
run all the films in Boston and everywhere, so we
need the chief starch Union on board to get the
money for this because they have all the connections and
so we could never get a tief. We could never
get a film for in the North End. They just
won't have one here. It's too expensive. So we need
(32:27):
to film it somewhere, which most likely will be La
and we'll come out there, you know.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
Okay, we'll do it all right, thank you, I go away.
There's a blind scot where he goes home. He knows.
So the good people at FIFA are being sued. Now,
there's a lot of lawsuits against FIFA. This one those
stands out from the crowd. Let me explain. They'll give
you the basics on this. The who, what, where, when
(32:53):
and why? So? The where is in Dallas? The who
is a muralist, Yes, a muralist who is suing FIFA
for a whale painting in downtown Dallas that they painted
over ahead of the World Cup.
Speaker 5 (33:12):
Here.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
Oh good, So how much is this guy suing FIFA for?
How much do you think a whale painting is worth?
According to a muralist? And you know, go to these
cities and they have paintings up around, going to brighten
things up.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
Right, this one has been around for a long time.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Though, right believe it's been around for I believe a
decent amount of time. I don't know exactly how long
I have know it, but yeah, it's it was a
really cool mural, like a really really cool cool thing.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
I'm going to go.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
I think it goes back to nineteen ninety nine, so yeah,
that's almost thirty years. It's a long time.
Speaker 6 (33:50):
And I think the other issue is that there's a
lot of blank areas around this mural that they could
have covered, and they still chose to cover the whales.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
I'm going to go with realistic Lorena. I know you
like to, I know, all right.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Come on, I'm gonna go with forty five million dollars, all.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Right, Coop, how much do you think a muralist is
his work of art is worth? He's suing FIFA for
painting over his downtown Dallas whale painting.
Speaker 4 (34:22):
So it's really what he thinks it's worth, because that's
what he's trying to get.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Yeah he's okay, well, yeah, I mean likely these lawsuits,
it's all about the settlement. That's what you want. You're
not gonna win the lawsuit. You just want to get
a settlement and get a check. And that's it.
Speaker 4 (34:39):
It could be anything. People are so ridiculous. Let's go.
I'm gonna think Lorena went too high. I'm gonna say
twenty million.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Both with real answer. No, no, no, Coop, you win. Congratulations,
Yeah it is. Yeah, you did not go over twenty
five million million dollars this guy once. Damn I want
git that. Yeah, you almost nailed it. Twenty five million.
And check this out. I did not know this was
a thing until I saw the story. So there's a law,
the Visual Artist Rights Act of nineteen ninety, a law
(35:17):
that gives artists the right to claim authorship of their
publicly displayed works of art like this. And so the guys, hey,
and it was a really cool pain painting on the
side of this building. Yeah, in Dallas, and they aft
it up. And I hope this guy wins a lot
(35:37):
of money. These FIFA people, it's like going to you
know what they're like coming to America. It's like they're
going to an Airbnb and they trash it or verb
you know, the verbal thing. They ran out the place
and they trash it. That's what FIFA was doing here.
And of course the politicians in America like, okay, well
why not you want to price gouge people. That sounds good.
(35:59):
Why not screw over the American people because you got
your little soccer game. How great is that?
Speaker 4 (36:04):
They could have put a banner app a big.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Banner exactly cover it up. That's fine. We have some
other stories bashing FIFA. We'll get to those later because
it's a lot of fun to bash FIFA. It is
the Ben Mahlor Show. Time now for the Insta Trivia
and we'll go back to the NBA Finals for this.
Another question regarding Josh Hart, who had a big rebound game,
(36:27):
So Nick guard Josh Hart the first player with fifteen
plus rebounds, six plus assist and four plus deals in
an NBA Finals game since blank. Again, Josh Hart of
the Knickerbockers became the first player with fifteen or more rebounds,
six or more assists, and four more steals in an
NBA Finals game since blank. That is the Insta Trivia.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
The answer next Fox Sports Radio has the best sports

it time now for the payoff on the instead trivia
and I'll go back to the NBA Finals as Josh
Hart had that quirky stat line which makes for good trivia.
So next yard Josh Hart the first player, first player
(38:26):
with fifteen plus rebounds, six plus assists and four plus
steals in an NBA Finals game since blank, looking obviously
for the name of a player and Josh in Nebraska,
the Bears fans going with debtlift Shrimp as his answer.
Rob the goat Man from Iowa says, Robbie the Whale, Wow,
(38:49):
what else? Page down? Ferg Dog's bail bondsman for X
jail Poor Ferg Dog. Yes, this poor one out for Fergie.
He's in social media. Jail key lime Pie Bobby in
Florida says, Lily Allen is the answer. Scarlet Witch from
Shane Brian Fenley's New Nanny ferk Dog, Uh, we get
(39:12):

What say you, Lorraine? Kevin Durant in a bush? That
(39:33):
is incorrect? The incorrect The correct answer would be the
hick from French Lick Larry Bird in nineteen eighty six,
Game three of the Finals against the Rockets and Bill Fitch.
It's maller how about that? To the third degree? Here
we go, this is one big event gets grilled cool.
Speaker 5 (39:56):
On yesterday's show, we talked about Eagles offensive lighting lineman
and Jordan Mylotta saying thank god the AJ Brown trade
drama is over. He also said that DeVonta Smith has
always been a number one receiver, so nothing has changed
for him.
Speaker 4 (40:09):
Ben, do you think that's the case.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
No, he's been the number two receiver. He's now the
number one receiver, but he didn't really matter. The Eagles
are not Jalen Hurts can't make all the throws. They're
a run first team, and so I believe the Smith
will be fine because they don't throw the ball enough
where it's gonna matter. It's gonna make that big a
difference unless they change quarterbacks next.
Speaker 5 (40:29):
Jamar Chase said this week that after reaching the Super
Bowl in twenty twenty one, expectations have always been high
for the team. However, with the defensive improvements the Bengals
made in the offseason, expectations this season have gone up. Then,
how high are your expectations?
Speaker 1 (40:42):
There'll be a wild card team, They'll make the playoffs,
win a game in the playoffs, have a chance to
make some noise next.
Speaker 5 (40:50):
NBA draft prospect aj Debansa made a recent podcast appearance
where he was asked about the possibility of the Wizards
drafting him first overall. He said, if they draft me,
I do need three tray for Frider Treyung's And a
lot of people were pissed off by this. Do you
think does this bother use a fan or no big deal?
Speaker 1 (41:06):
I don't care. I don't care about the Wizards, Coop,
who cares about the Wizards? You know what I'm saying,
They're the Wizards. They don't really matter the Wizards. I
