Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh what is going on? Welcome into another hour here
the wee early morning hours on a Thursday. Feel free
to check in eight seven to seven ninety nine on
Fox Militia love hearing from you. We'll roll out the
red carpet you feel like getting in here. So we
will have an in depth discussion about Anne Hathaway's hotness
(00:22):
or overrated hotness in a little bit momentarily, but we'll
start off with sports. Let's have a little bit of sports.
So Jalen Brown, star player for the Celtics, he raised
some eyebrows. So the Celtics, they had a commanding three
to one lead against the Sixers in the first round
of the NBA playoffs, and well, they kicked it away.
(00:45):
They lost three straight games, lost the series again a
first round series. And Jalen Brown immediately afterwards, like the
next day, he does this twitch thing. He gets on
there with his buddies talking about a range of thing
says that Embiad is a flopper. Flopping is ruining. The
NBA had a couple other hot takes and then this
(01:08):
one really caught a lot of attention. He was talking
about this Celtics season and he had this to say.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I'm so proud and it was my favorite year of
my basketball career.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Okay, so favorite year of his basketball career is what
happened this past season with the Celtics. So if we
start doing the math on this thing, it's like, all right,
this isn't that hard to figure out. What he's really
saying is it was great being the main guy. And
(01:43):
I don't think that's a bad thing necessarily. He wants
to be the man. He doesn't want to be the
co pilot. He doesn't want to be Robin. He wants
to be Batman. He wants to be the guy. And
he showed throughout the time without Jason Tatum during the
regular season he's more than capable of carrying that burden.
(02:06):
He was fantastic. He had a great season. He was
a legitimate MVP candidate, and if you look during the season,
he had a couple of posts that were interesting now
looking back, but so obvious with him saying this latest
thing that he enjoyed being the main guy. He loved
being the number one option. He didn't want to play
(02:27):
second fiddle. He didn't want to watch Jason Tatum to
dribble around for twenty seconds and jack up a shot, right,
Like he liked being the guy. And so that's what
he's really saying. You could really get off track with this,
like whoa dude, what a loser mentality? He got bounced
in the first round and this is his favorite season.
(02:47):
He won a title, he was finals MVP. Are you
kidding me? It's not about that. It's just he wants
to be the main guy. He doesn't want to play
like the one B role or the two A role.
He wants to be one A. He wants to be
the man. That's I don't have a problem with that.
But that's what he's really saying. But it goes a
(03:09):
little bit deeper than that. So this is Tracy McGrady.
Tracy mcgrady's an analyst with NBC. He does this Cousin's
podcast with Vince Carter, And this is what Tracy McGrady
had to say about Jalen Brown and his frustration with
the Celtics organization.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Here you go, his frustration lies deeply within the organization
and other things that of.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Course, of course we don't really have that details too.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Oh, there's just been a lot of stuff, you know
that I've been hearing, just going on with the Boston
organization with JB.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
You know. So, I think part of him is like.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
I showed you guys more of who I am as
a basketball player, not only just you know, what I
did on the basketball court, but the leadership that I
displayed within you know, this team, and you've seen that
not having our you know, best player in JC, You've
seen the different side of me and what I I'm
(04:11):
able to bring to the game of basketball. So all
that stuff, you know, I think just came in to
play with him and his frustration.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
M Okay, So, Drayson McGrady says he's pretty frustrated with
the organization now the Celtics preys over here. Brad Stevens
he he's like, I don't know what he's dying about.
Here's what Brad Stevens has to say about this perceived
frustration from Jalen Brown. Check this out. I talked to
(04:41):
Jalen Monday a little bit after.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
He just real quickly and was nothing but positive. He
has not expressed those frustrations to me.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Okay, So depends on who you believe. Could it be
that there's a little bit of truth with both of
those guys, Yeah, could be is it possible that Tracy
McGrady knows Jalen Brown pretty well and he's been able
to gather that he's not feeling the organization for this
reason or the next reason or yeah, or he's just
ticked off with this or that. Yeah, that's true. That
(05:14):
could be possible. Is it possible that Brad Stevens did
bump into Jalen Brown and they talked for a little
bit and Brad Stevens didn't pick up on any frustration.
Jalen Brown wasn't like, Yo, dude, we gotta talk, man,
I don't know what is going on x y Z.
It's possible that there's truth with both of them. I
think this. I think that it goes back to my
(05:37):
original thought. Jalen Brown wants to be the guy. He
doesn't want to be like second fiddle to Jason Tatum,
and so that might be where some of the frustration
stems from. I would be I'd be frustrated with numerous
things if I'm Jason Tatum. The main thing I'd be
frustrated with is the head coach, Joe Mizzoula. Why are
(05:58):
we jacking up a million threes a game? It's just
a silly way to approach basketball. I like, I don't know.
Jalen Brown has actually gone on record saying I wish
we would have leaned into that even more, that style
of play, So maybe he isn't frustrated with that at all.
I don't know. I'm just saying what I would be
frustrated with if I were Jalen Brown. We're gonna shoot
(06:21):
a million threes, and if we're ice cold, we just lose.
If we're shooting under thirty percent, we just lose. It's like,
why don't we have a plan? B why don't we
I don't know, shoot twos. Maybe we could make them.
It's like, hey, man, we're ice cold. Just imagine the huddle.
They should have it miked up on NBC or ESPN
whoever's doing the telecast, hopefully is not Prime. Gosh, I
(06:44):
hate the NBN Prime. They do a great job. I
just hate finding it. I hate going to an app
on my TV. I hate that. But anyway, if they
haven't miked up, and it's just Joe Mizzoula and he's
all right, guys, guys, we can't buy a three, all right.
We can't make it three to save our lives, all right,
but here's what we do. We're gonna keep shooting them,
just keep letting them fly. I know we're ice called,
we're like twenty eight percent right now, but just trust me.
(07:06):
Let's come on, guys, focus, keep keep letting them fly.
How dumb would that sound? It would sound completely idiotic,
because it is. It is idiotic. It makes no sense
to play that style of basketball. That's what sports is
all about. Adjustments. I don't care what sport it is.
It's football. It's like, hey, our passing game is fantastic,
(07:29):
but guess what. It's raining sideways today and it's really
not working that well. But you don't just air it
out like it's eighty degrees and not a cloud in
the sky. You adjust. Maybe you run the ball if
you're gonna throw it. Maybe you throw some short passes.
You're not trying to throw post patterns and fly patterns
(07:50):
or right like. You change it up. You adjust. It's
crazy to me that the Celtics have no ability to adjust.
What's whatever. I would be so frustrated with that. If
I were Jalen Brown. It doesn't sound like he is.
So that's the crazy thing to me. The one thing
in my mind he could clearly be frustrated with It
(08:12):
doesn't sound like he is. So that's the next question is, well, then,
what is he frustrated with? Tracy McGrady? What is it exactly?
It's just, you know, oh, he's he's very frustrating with
what with What My guess is he just doesn't want
to be Robin, you know, but I could be wrong.
(08:36):
I don't know. That's my read on it. To me,
it's just two plus two equals four. If you get
bounced in the first round and you blow a three
to one series lead, and afterward the next day you're like,
that was my favorite year in the NBA, And it's like,
you've won a championship, dude, you wear finals MVP. How
(08:56):
is this the best season of your career? Your favorites?
And that's why I was gonna say earlier, earlier in
the year, he had posted some things on social media
where he's comparing the Celtics record last season to the
Celtics record this season. There were a couple of stats
and everything was very similar. The Celtics had way more
(09:17):
success this season than pretty much anybody saw coming. They
just thought, hey, it's a lost year. They lost Jason
Tatum most likely for the entire season with an achilles injury.
There's no Porzingis, there's no Drew Holliday, all these changes, right, Like,
the Celtics are clearly taking a major step back. They're
(09:38):
not title contenders. And then lo and behold, they're the
two seed in the East and they were one of
the favorites to come out of the East. And Jalen
Brown was posting things like, yo, check it out. Pretty
good record right, pretty good with scoring, pretty good with
this we match up just like last season. He's like,
lost season. This is a gap season, right, That's what
(10:01):
everybody says. He's like, gap season. My ass, this is
a good season right now, look at it. You don't
think we can function with me? He took it personally.
It was the old Jordan thing, and I took that personally.
He took the whole gap year thing personally, and he
responded he played great and that has to be the
major reason why he he thought that this season is
(10:21):
his favorite season. He considers it his favorite season has
to be. I don't know how it could be something
other than that. You know, like actions speak louder than words, okay,
And and Jalen Brown made it clear he was like, Yo,
this was not a diss of Jason Tatum. When I'm
(10:42):
posting our record this season, our stats this season compared
to record and stats last season, this is not a
dig at Jason Tatum. He did come back and say that,
which I believe that's the case. I think that can
absolutely be the case. I don't think it was. You know,
Jason Tatum is holding us back. That's not how I
(11:04):
took it. I took it as, hey, you got a
real player here in me, right like, I can shoulder
the load here. I'm a guy that if we lose
Jason Tatument, it doesn't mean our season is a catastrophe
where we're gonna win like forty games and not even
be a playoff team, right Like, it doesn't mean that
(11:26):
at all. That's how I took it. That's how I
truly believe that's what it was. But your actions show
that you take pride in that. You take pride in
being the main guy leading the team to exactly where
they were after losing a superstar player. You should take
pride in that. But that also shows me coupled with
(11:48):
his latest comments and like that was my favorite season
blown a three to one lead in the first round
to the Sixers, who didn't have him bid for the
entire series. That was my favorite one. It's like, wait
a minute, why would that be the case? Because he
was the main guy for most of the most of
the whole season that it has to be. So where
(12:09):
it goes from here, I don't know. Will be interesting
to see a lot of rumors about who's getting traded,
who's going where, many questions. I would love to be
one of those twitch guys in the background, if I
was one of the dudes wearing shades and kind of
like vibe into what Jalen Brown is saying and kind
of listening to music at the same time, and you know,
we're just kind of nodding and we're doing the cool thing.
(12:31):
You know. I would have many questions for Jalen Brown,
like why was that your favorite season? What made it
the favorite season? Exactly? When you got to bounce in
the first round after blowing a three to one lead,
Where do you want to go from here? Right? If
you're frustrated with the Celtics organization, what are the reasons
why you are frustrated with them? If these trade rumors
(12:55):
you want to stay in Boston. You want to go
to Milwaukee. You want to be the main guy in Milwaukee.
If there's a young for Jalen Brown, trade and some
other stuff, what do you think you in for that?
You up for that? Oh man? I would love to
be on the twitch stream in his inner circle. They'd
be like, get this guy out of here after you know,
seventeen questions, rapid fire style. But there's a lot of
(13:15):
follow ups in terms of that. All right, we got
Ann Hathaway on the way, and I do love this
story where royalty calls out royalty or I don't know,
royalty calls out up and coming royalty. I don't know
the best description, but we'll get to that story along

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yet, Okay, he's on the way. I got it.
Speaker 9 (15:12):
I should be specific Coca cola, and right as I
said that, he has walked in.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
He made a Coca cola run right there.
Speaker 8 (15:19):
And he already drank it.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Hey, it's the type of guy, Coop is. You know,
I wanted to hear that.
Speaker 9 (15:27):
I wanted to hear the sound you know when you
open the soda. Let's see if I let's see what
I can get. Nothing, not a single ruin sprits, not
a sprints at all I got.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
I got parched when running back here, you ruined the sprits.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Wow that was I was expecting nothing.
Speaker 8 (15:48):
Nothing, Man, shake it and do it again.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
No, don't ruin.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
We have to have an in depth discussion about Ann
hath ways perceived hotness. Coop, you mentioned this, So she's
named People's hottest woman alive? Is that correct?
Speaker 3 (16:08):
I believe the title is most beautiful or like like
you know, most beautiful woman, but of the year or
ever for twenty twenty six?
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Yeah? Yeah, okay, most beautiful woman of twenty twenty six.
You know, I have many thoughts, but you know, the
flora is yours, Lorraina and Coop, what you think that?
That's what matters most here? Do you agree with this?
When you go in a different direction?
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Ah, I mean I'm I'm I have no qualms with
it whatsoever.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Lorena, how do you feel about this?
Speaker 9 (16:38):
I am a huge fan of Anne Hathaway, and honestly,
I think her year that she's going to be having,
with being in the movies and being in the public eye,
I think it's a great.
Speaker 8 (16:47):
Position for her.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
I don't know if she.
Speaker 9 (16:53):
Outbeats some other beautiful women that I can think of
that have also really been popular.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
She is undeniably beautiful. I mean, I I think she's
like a brunette Julia Roberts.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Oh, and Julia is more of a redhead typically. Yeah, yeah,
I mean I get it. I can see some of
the yeah similarities. She Listen, she's a beautiful girl. Let
me not sidestep that. But what was it? The most
most beautiful woman of twenty twenty six? What the hell?
(17:26):
Who put this together? If you just google Anne Hathaway,
one of the first pictures that shows up is she's
taking a picture with Blake Lively at the met Gala.
Blake Lively puts her to shame. Nah that picture. It's like, dude,
it's not evel.
Speaker 8 (17:45):
So Blake Lively has had a horrible year.
Speaker 10 (17:48):
In the Yeah, Yeah, Blake Lively doesn't touch Anne Hathaway.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Freaking mind. Look at this picture. Just Google and Hathaway
and you tell me you see this picture, there's stay
shoulder to shoulder, and you tell me who's hotter and
be completely unbiased.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
It's not even close. It's yeah, it's not even close.
It's Anne Hathaway.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Oh, you're out of your mind. This is worse than
your tool. Take it. This is outrageous. Over here, have
you seen this picture?
Speaker 8 (18:19):
I'm looking at it right now over Koop's shoulder.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Okay, you tell me what you think.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
I mean.
Speaker 9 (18:25):
I see two beautiful women who definitely have you know,
nice attributes.
Speaker 8 (18:29):
I prefer Anne Hathaway over Blake Lively.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Wow, this is unbelievable. I don't even know what to
do with this.
Speaker 9 (18:38):
At this point, I heard Blake Lively also invited herself
this year.
Speaker 8 (18:43):
To the Metcala.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Well, listen, she's also five years younger than Anne Hathaway.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Again again kind of matters. Well, we're just talking about
beauty and attractiveness, and listen, I realize that it can
be that title is interesting like most Beautiful Woman, because
that to me goes, it can go beyond looks right,
Like beauty is not just looks. But if we're talking
(19:08):
just looks, I think Blake Lively he just had a
lawsuit dismissed or whatever was going on with the Did.
Speaker 8 (19:16):
You see that movie, by the way, of course I did.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
And I read the books, and you read the books. Yes,
holy cow.
Speaker 8 (19:24):
It ends with us. It's it's a really good book.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yeah. I didn't read anything. I never read anything, you know,
books wise. I read a lot of things sports related
for shows and stuff, but no books on on my
resume over here. It's probably the way I why I
sign sound the way I sound, you know.
Speaker 9 (19:43):
Yeah, and one of those and one of those weirdos
like if a movie is coming out that is based
off of a book, I'll try to read the book first.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Okay, yeah, wow, you're hardcore right there. But it's a
great movie. It ends with us. It was a fantastic movie.
But she was alleging that the one of the the
main actors and the director, the guy was the director
of that whole thing as well, that there was some
sexual harassment, and there was this and that and YadA YadA,
and it didn't go anywhere, but it was a hole
(20:11):
back and forth and it was ugly and right now and.
Speaker 8 (20:15):
They spent like sixty million dollars in legal fees.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Crazy crazy, But you know, like Ann Hathaway doesn't have
that on a resume this year, right like, it doesn't.
It hasn't come to that, And so I get it
if you. I don't know if that I bent someone
out of shape and they're looking at Blake Lively sideways, okay,
but my whole thing is put that to the side.
(20:38):
If you're just looking at them side by side. If
you're on the beach in La and Anne Hathaway walks
by and then Blake lay Lively walks by the other direction,
you're not watching Blake Lively more than Anne Hathaway. You're
out of your freaking don't mind. I don't believe you
at all. If you hadn't seen and Anne Hathaway is
very talented, if you hadn't seen her in a movie,
(21:01):
if you haven't seen her acting, is just looks alone,
and that is it. You're telling me you're watching Anne
Hathaway on the beach more than Blake Lively. I don't
believe you for one second. That is false.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Anna Hathaway could easily crack my top five all time.
Blake Lively is not even in my top twenty.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Outrageous. Who else is in your top five? Who's in
your top twenty or Blake's not.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
Even in that? Angelina, Joe Lee, Jennifer Lawrence.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
That's your I know that's your girl, Sney Sweeney, Sidney Swaeney, Okay.
Speaker 8 (21:36):
Anne Hathaway obviously Ann Hathaway.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
And I mean, like you got I feel like Julia
Roberts is up there. I mean, like you know her.
Speaker 9 (21:44):
I feel like even Souki from No Vampires would be
above Blake Lively and Pops Buck.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Oh yeah, absolutely what Suki from what from True? But
Anna Packwin, I'm not familiar with her. I'm I just
don't know she's She's cute, so I'm gonna have to
It's a whole working list over here, Souki and I
can't keep up with.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
But Anna pak was not even in my top ten.
But but she's a bump Blake Lively.
Speaker 8 (22:13):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Wow, maybe I picked a bad The only reason I
picked Blake Lively is because they're in the Yeah, they're
in the picture together. When you google Ann Hathaway, there
are plenty of other directions you can go in than
just that.
Speaker 9 (22:29):
Yeah right, yeah, I want to know how they build
this list. I want to see who our other contenders were.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
It's probably uh, who's the uh? Meryl Streep was probably
like neck and neck with Anne Hathaway, probably photo finish,
probably exactly where it went in.
Speaker 10 (22:55):
People magazine selected its most Beautiful cover star through a
mix of editorial cure, trend analysis, and increasing audience input
see see it's more than just a track, focusing on
celebrities who embody confidence, success and positivity.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
Heck, yeah she does.
Speaker 8 (23:11):
You know what who doesn't?
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Who's that?
Speaker 1 (23:18):
I will not stand for you putting Blake Lively to shame.
She is a beautiful girl.
Speaker 8 (23:23):
I loved her in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pantalonis.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
I've not seen that.
Speaker 8 (23:28):
See you have movies that you have not seen as well?
Speaker 1 (23:31):
Okay, there are There are plenty of movies I haven't seen. Absolutely.
Speaker 8 (23:35):
You always give me a hard time, but you have
some too.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
You know the category and I'll get to the militia
here in a second. They want to check in the category,
I would, in all honesty, put Anne Hathaway in and again,
beautiful girl. I would put her in the Alex Morgan category. Okay,
Alex Moore, you remember the the ex US soccer player
that many people are just fascinated by, Like, Morgan is
(24:00):
so hot, man, man, it's like she's a beautiful girl,
but she's soccer hot. Okay, she's athlete hot. She's not.
If you're in La where it's beautiful girls all over
the place, if Alex Morgan walks by, you're like, eh, so,
like she's hot in her realm, you know what I mean.
(24:23):
Anne Hathaway is beautiful in her realm. She's not a standout. Sorry,
like not on the top five, top not number one.
That's crazy. It's just crazy. I'm not trying it number one.
I hate being in this position where I'm always in
the hater position. You know, like the in basketball in
the dunker spot, you're kind of baseline. You're in the
(24:44):
dunker spot and they throw it to you, you dunk it.
I'm in the hater spot. I don't know why I'm
always in the hater spot where I'm like, it's outrageous
to put her number one, and then I just have
to talk trash about Anne Hathaway. I don't like that.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
But it's true.
Speaker 8 (24:55):
I just watched her in Mother Mary. Is that the
movie what it's called?
Speaker 1 (25:00):
I think so it was.
Speaker 8 (25:01):
It was an interesting movie, but she was gorgeous.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
All I know is that you, you know, you have
some some pretty bad takes when it comes to like
music and other stuff. But this is, this is right
up there.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Plenty of things music wise, we're on the exact same page.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
Yeah, but you you're just so off base with tool,
I just ruins the entire category.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Was the worst. Mayard sings like he has half a testicle.
He sucks, The band sucks, the music is slow and
only it's a terrible band. They're awful. Sure, I hate him.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
And and do you think and Hathaway's ugly?
Speaker 1 (25:41):
I don't think she's ugly. No, no, no, no, I've
said many times. She's not number one. That's insane. That's
insanity right there. Sorry, it is. We got a couple
of Hathaway takes here. Let's let's get Zach on he's
in Illinois. Zach, you're on Fox Sports Radio. What do
you think about this Hathaway business here?
Speaker 7 (26:01):
I just can't believe there's even a comparison.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
Honestly, like, I.
Speaker 7 (26:07):
As far as beauty goes like, I've never even heard
this other woman on the same levels and Hathaway, so
that your take on it is insane to me and
I have to I gotta time you too, and Loraina.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Here, Okay, all right, So Anne Hathaway number one or
just Anne Hathaway over Blake Lively. There's a big difference there.
Speaker 7 (26:29):
I guess over Blake Lively, my dad.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Okay, fine, So so do you think the whole point
is Anne Hathaway is not the most beautiful woman in
twenty twenty six? That's outrageous.
Speaker 8 (26:41):
Who would your twenty twenty six beautiful woman be?
Speaker 1 (26:44):
I don't know. I'd have to do something.
Speaker 7 (26:45):
I guess my I mean my wife would be my best.
Speaker 8 (26:49):
What a great answer.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Uh huh, that's wow.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Man.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Is she listening right now?
Speaker 10 (26:56):
No?
Speaker 7 (26:57):
No, I mean she might be, And if she is,
she's out irritated that I'm still listening.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
To radio, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Well, besides your lovely wife, Zach, just humorous. Who are
a couple of the hottest of the hot women in
your book.
Speaker 7 (27:16):
In twenty twenty six? Well, I'm gonna go with the
most unpopular opinion. Io Sam would love this to he's
out there listening somewhere, Kaylyn Clark, Man.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Oh my gosh. Really we're just talking about I know,
yeah Zach.
Speaker 7 (27:34):
Okay, nobody, nobody's gonna anticipate that, and you.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Just say I think you're disqualified. Zach qualified, he.
Speaker 9 (27:45):
Lost anything any now he's out thinking the I'm not
gonna say that. Oh man, wow, we really just had
that conversation.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
That's crazy, right, that was amazing. He's on your side,
just like I think. Let's for that's that hurt our
cause a little bit fan drastically. Let's get another one
to hear. Jola is in Dallas, Jola, what's going on?
(28:14):
What's up?
Speaker 10 (28:14):
Hey?
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Hey, Brian know what's going on now? I listened to
you on Saturdays before up on game. Y'all got a
great show. Thank you for the other two buddies, Coop,
what's up Lorena? Hey? But man, no, I got to
push back on you. Never seen princehon diary and had
the way she had to blow up. She started at
(28:36):
the bottom and worked her way all the way to
the top. Man. Hey, I just turned thirty and we
cannot say and she she earned her right to be
on top of that list. I mean no, she did.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
It's a ridiculous voting process. I don't know what happened
with strings.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
She no, I mean, what's Coop laid out in Lorena
laid out the you know the she has very much
equity in the Hollywood game. She's an act her philanthropists.
I bet no. She earned that right twenty twenty six.
He earned that right. And there's plenty of beautiful women,
you know, Hispanic women, Black women, you know, Caucasian women,
(29:11):
Asian women. But no, she, I mean in America and
the Devil Works product. Obviously, you know, this is what
we're basing it off of. That's the hot thing right now.
But she is top tier beautiful burnette i've ever seen.
I mean, there's some athletes that look better than Anne Hathaway,
but they can't act like her or have as much
talent as far as the day to day. You know,
(29:32):
they're not going you know, so she top tier. I mean,
he's been around for a while, been through a lot
of stuff. I like in Hathaway.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
I like her.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
She's a beautiful girl. She's just not number one Jola.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
She's not. No, No, there's definitely I mean, my favorite
is a Sophia of Virgaro.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Yeah, okay, put him side by siding you're taking Anne
or taking so far?
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Oh it's close and yeah we could get it. Beyonce
he did naturally, I mean not close. I mean she
could walk into the room's glowing.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Yes, yes, I think they put I think it was
Beyonce that they put. Uh, you know when they've gone fishing,
you know how the the inside the NBA show. I
think they put Beyonce on that. She's she's gorgeous, dude.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
Like I'm believing gorgeous. But she already had her time
though she's running out of you know, she's a little
older though, you know, and Hathaway's right in the middle.
She acting, she still got her swing.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Towards I bet And is still I bet AND's older
than Beyonce.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
And like Beyonce, Beyonce is a year older. One year old, okay,
a year a year cool?
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (30:42):
One year wow?
Speaker 4 (30:44):
Wow?
Speaker 9 (30:44):
Yeah, Brandon, like what you're saying about imagining them walking
down the beach, because.
Speaker 8 (30:49):
I'm like, you know, what, which one would I stare
out longer?
Speaker 4 (30:52):
I looked up that picture Libby, who's the girl sitting
next to Ann Hathaway Lively Lively not touching her.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
I mean that's great, Jola. That's your craziest statement yet.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
I think you're like, oh, for on this one, Brian, No, no, no.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
Who's the girls that play on the Dallas Stars right now?
Speaker 1 (31:15):
The girls on the Dallas crazy? Oh no, you're talking
about the Wings the Dallas and.
Speaker 10 (31:23):
The other girl that they go together.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
Yeah. Page Becker's look better than Libby doing whatever her
name was, what was her name?
Speaker 3 (31:35):
Blake Lively?
Speaker 4 (31:36):
Yeah, Blakely. She looks better than Blake Lively right now?
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Have you seen It Ends with Us? She's stunning in
that movie, stunning, gorgeous. You gotta check it out. Oh,
she's beautiful in that movie. Blake Lively is fantastic.
Speaker 9 (31:50):
I got it.
Speaker 4 (31:50):
I'm gonna tell you.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Have you seen Jola? You've seen the town right, You've
had to have seen.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
The Towns in that.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
She looks gorgeous in that.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
She's a you know, oh hey, cool that one actor
you said that was it? That was in uh the
X Men. Nah, she when we were when she did
the X Men, she was fine. But it's too she
already faded out, man.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Yeah, X was like twenty years ago.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
I mean, you know, that's what I'm saying. But she
gotta stay going on camera though, like uh and halfaway.
She stayed on camera and I was listening.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
I was listening, like my all time list. I think
I think, you know, I think Angelina is falling off
like big time.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
But you know, oh yeah, oh she was.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
She was.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Oh my god, that mister, mister Smith.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
I was like, man, she's the number she's the number one,
number five.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
Oh wow, you think she's number one?
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (32:43):
He was up there.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
You know, I thought it was Jennifer Lawrence.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
Angelina jo in her prime, Oh in her prime, right.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
Mau Rushmore, Sophia bar gave Rushmore. So we got our Yeah,
we got so we got two more Fox.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
But yeah, I'll tell you what it's that Anne Hathaway Jola.
I'll tell you that it's not Anne.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
For twenty twenty six. I mean she is. I mean
she's bad, top ten.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
No, she's not, you're lying right now. Bad.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
She got like a Steph Curry type deal, like she
had a run and she coming back. It's like Steph
currk winning that championship versus the boss of Celtics. But
now you know she got her turn. But now it's like, Okay,
let's see, let's see if she keep it going. But
she may just fade into Hall of Fame status. You know.
That's what she's doing, a Hall of Fame tour. Okay,
I think you know what.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
You hit on something, Jola, And thank you for checking in. Man,
it was fun, dude, it was fun to talk to you.
But the NBA comparison, who is Anne Hathaway as an
NBA player? I'm trying to be fair and give her
some props, but also be realistic as well. She would
be like she'd be like Aaron Gordon on the Nuggets
(34:06):
when Joki like took them to a title and Aaron
Gordon plays a role, a significant role, but he's not
the main show in town. He's not right, Like, that's
Anne Hathaway, She's Aaron Gordon. This is the Nugget. That's
pretty much what it is. Jesus, Yeah, that's basically what
it is. Or maybe maybe like Isaiah Hartenstein with the
(34:29):
Stop Stop It. She's important, like she rebound, she plays
good defense.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
But she's not a star.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
She's belong up there with SGA and Joker and she's
not on that level. This is crazy. Where have we gone.
We're in a realm that makes no sense whatsoever. You're
telling me. Sophia Virgara is walking down the beach and
Anne Hathaway is walking down the beach the opposite direction.
You're watching Anne, You're out of your freaking mind. There's
(35:00):
no way you're doing that. That's all I'm saying. Not
number one. I didn't say she's ugly, she's beautiful. I
think she's a beautiful girl. I think she's very talented.
Not number one, like it'd be like it'd be like Lebron.
You know Lebron with the Lakers. Hey, Lebron's still doing
(35:21):
his thing. Forty one remarkable, unbelievable, what he's been able
to do, hasn't missed a playoff game in his entire
NBA career. Lakers aren't winning the title, They're not even
gonna win a game against the Thunder, you know what
I mean, Like, you gotta be realistic at this point.
That's all I'm doing here eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox. Hopefully we'll get someone on my side along
(35:42):
the way. I think discussions like this can get twisted
real fast where it's turned into you know, I've got
her shoulder to shoulder with you know.
Speaker 8 (35:52):
I don't know, watch Anne Hathaway calls.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Oh, that would be amazing. I'd be like, Ann, it's
such an honor. My gosh, I've been a big fan
of yours for so long.
Speaker 8 (36:03):
You're just not my number one.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
You're just not close to number one. Like the Coop
said in the top five. So what are we doing tonight?
It is outrageous, just outrageous, unbelievable. All right, feel free
to check in Militia eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
That is your number coming up next, A reduced suspension
(36:26):
and a quote for the ages. It is Fox Sports Radio.
I'm Brian no In for Big Ben. Hang with us
here on FSR.
Speaker 5 (36:33):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
It is Fox Sports Radio. I'm Brian no In for
Big Ben malor Yeah, good call Ann Hathaway or Shakira.
You know the answer to that. It's not even close.
Just a quick shout out to Eileen. She just simply
(37:05):
wrote on x at the no Show Blake Lively and
then the thumbs up emoji. That's all I needed. They
needed one, you know, just a little students, if you will, Yeah,
a little verification. Little I'm not on no island just
by myself, you know, deserted. That's nice. Nice to have
someone on board, very nice. Eight seven seven ninety nine
(37:29):
on Fox. That is your number. I'll get to more
than militia momentarily. First though, how about from Bervaldez. Remember
Fraan Bervaldez. So he plunked Trevor's story of the Red
Sox that was on Wednesday, Sorry, it was on Tuesday,
and so he was suspended for six games initially, but
(37:50):
that was reduced to five games. So he's gonna miss
a start. And I just love this story so much.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
Man.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
You know what I wish in sports, I wish there
was a lot more honesty because we are lacking in
the honesty department when it comes to sports. So if
he didn't see this on Tuesday night, So from Barvaldez
is pitching. He pitches for the for the Tigers. They're
facing the Red Sox, and he had a terrible outing. Awful.
(38:19):
He gave up five consecutive hits. He gave up eight runs.
In the first three innings, he gave up a home
run to Wilson Contreras, and then two pitches later he
gave up another home run to a bray you and
then he's like, you know, what the hell with this?
And so he threw about a ninety four mile per
(38:40):
hour fastball right in the middle of Trevor Story's back,
right between the numbers. What that's right right between the back? Intentionally,
Lorena absolutely meant to do it. But the lack of
honesty that we have these days. What did from Brivaldez
say after the game? He said it not intentional and
(39:02):
there shouldn't be a suspension in this situation. Now this
was through an interpreter, right, he's speaking Spanish, but he
was suspended for five games. He's gonna miss a start. Now,
this is the interesting part. So from Bervaldez, the last
time he threw a four seam fastball, which is what
(39:24):
he hit Trevor Story with, right four seam fastball, right
in the middle of the back. The last time he
threw a four seam fastball was last August. It was
August third, So like he hadn't done this in a
long time. He's thrown a lot of pitches. It's the
first time since August third he threw a four seam fastball,
(39:45):
and it just so happened to go right in the
middle of Trevor Story's back because he's ticked off about
the Red Sox knocking him around, hitting home runs off
of him, and so he threw That's all what he
threw out A guy I wish he was like, you
know what, my bad. I shouldn't have done that. You
(40:07):
don't have to give specifics, like, yeah, it was pissed,
just back to back home runs. One guy flipped his bat.
I was like, the hell with this. I'd rather just
get a shower. Let me plunk Story. You know, i'd
be lying to you if I said that was something else.
He doesn't have to say all that.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
Just just don't lie to us.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
Don't treat us like we're dumb. His own manager. I
love this quote. His own manager, A. J. Hinch's what
he said after the game on Tuesday. He said, we
play a really good brand of baseball here. That didn't
feel like it. It's not judging intent. I have no idea,
but I know when you go out on the field
and you end up in those sorts of confrontations, you
(40:44):
usually feel like you're in the your right and it
didn't feel good being out there. So I understand Boston's frustrations.
I understand the moment, and it was a low moment
of a frustrating night. That's his own manager, who knows
he was throwing at Trevor's story. He's like, I understand
Boston's frustrations. Just tell us the truth, man, all right.
(41:07):
Appreciating Blake Lively all next hour, that's all we're talking about.
