Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh, lots going on. We've got an official ruling on
the Juwan Howard versus Greg Guard title fight apparently turned
into that was a college basketball game turned into like
Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Not quite, but a little bit.
A lot of people making it out to be that way.
Welcome into another hour, Brian though in for big Ben Maller.

(00:24):
Feel free to hit us up eight seven, seven ninety
nine on Fox. That is your phone number. I'll get
to some of the calls here momentarily. But a couple
of things with this Juwan Howard Greg Guard situation. So
Juwan Howard he slapped a Wisconsin assistant coach, he got
suspended for five games and find forty thousand dollars. Greg Guard,

(00:50):
the Wisconsin head coach who did put his hands on
Juwan Howard, he did not slap an assistant coach from Michigan.
So Greg Guard he gets fined ten thousand dollars. I
would have been a little bit more heavy handed with
both coaches. I would have at least suspended Greg Guard
for one game. And that's even a little bit of

(01:14):
a reach because I look at it this way. If
Juwan Howard doesn't do anything. Like, let's say Greg Guard,
he puts his hands on Juwan and says, hey, hey,
here's what I was doing when I called that time out.
Here's why I called the time out. If Juwan Howard
just keeps it pushing, there's not even a fine, there's

(01:34):
no suspension, there's no nothing. If Greg Guard doesn't put
his hands on Juan Howard to begin with. Yet Juwan
Howard slaps a guy in the face, he's still getting
suspended for at least five games. That's how I look
at it. So Greg Guard's actions look way worse because
Juwan Howard escalated the whole situation and slapped a guy.

(01:58):
And you can't put everything on Greg Guarden. Say, well,
if Greg Guard doesn't start it, it's not gonna go anywhere.
That's not good enough. That's like kid logic, you know,
Like I look at it the same way. If we're
playing the if game, Well, what if Juwan Howard doesn't
do anything, is Greg Guard even punished whatsoever? No, it's

(02:18):
a non situation. But because it started things, because it
was escalated, Okay, I'll give Greg Guard a game, But
in terms of Juwan Howard, you're a head coach You're
supposed to be the leader, the example setter, the tone setter, right,
and he fell very short of that. So I would
have been a little harsher. I would have suspended him

(02:41):
for the remainder of the entire season, not just the
regular season. That's what I would have done. I don't
think Juwan Howard should have lost his job. Some people
are saying that. I understand the argument, but I think
I think that goes too far to get a pink
slip and use your gig over that. I don't know

(03:02):
if we just get so used to saying this guy
should be fired, that guy should be fired, we just
we act like we're changing socks when we say that
about other people's jobs. It's a whole thing. A lot
of these coaches have families, got to relocate, it's a
whole thing. I just don't think that is a legitimate
fireable offense in that situation. I would have suspended him

(03:24):
from more games. I wouldn't be on board with a firing.
I'm probably no in for Big Ben here on Fox
Sports Radio. Now. This I think it's important because it
doesn't only apply to this situation with Juwan Howard and
Greg Guard. It can apply to many other situations. I
would call this in this instance the objective test, where

(03:49):
if you flip the scenario, it's a test to see, hey,
does your opinion dramatically change. It's important in this situation
with Houred and Guard, it's important in a lot of
other situations. And if we cut to the chase and
just call it what it is. If there is a scenario,

(04:10):
if there's an incident involving race, it can get emotional
real fast, and a lot of people on from various backgrounds, white, black,
anything in between. You might be biased with your comments.
I think there can be a tendency at times to

(04:31):
condemn someone that isn't part of your race, and at
the same rate, there can be a tendency for some
people to defend someone immediately who is of their race.
So let's do this, Let's flip the scenario completely around,
and if your opinion dramatically changes, you're not being objective here.

(04:56):
So for anyone who maybe a saying fire Juwan Howard,
what if this was a white guy? Stuff like that? Okay,
For the people that are saying jo Wine didn't do
anything wrong, that guy Greg Guard started it, Okay, both
two very different opinions. Let's flip the scenario around completely. Okay,

(05:17):
what's the takeaway then? If Greg Guard is the one
slapping a Michigan assistant coach instead of the way it
actually played out, I'm telling you the exact same thing.
I'm telling you Greg Guard didn't act like a professional.
He's the head coach. He's supposed to be the example,

(05:39):
the tone setter, all of those things. He should be
suspended the remainder of the entire season. That would be
my takeaway. It's the exact same thing for me. Now,
if your answer dramatically changes, you're not being objective, You're
being biased. Your answer or your stance should not be

(05:59):
dramatically different. If the scenario is turned around, where if
you're defending Juwan Howard and saying, ah, he didn't start it,
he's just defending himself that sort of thing. Am I
supposed to believe? You're saying the exact same thing. If
Greg Guard is the guy slapping a Michigan head coach.
Are you then saying, Hey, Juan shouldn't have started it. No,

(06:22):
Greg Guard was just defending himself. Like I have a
hard time believing that, and that's an issue I would
encourage everybody to do a little self analysis. Right, if
you flip the scenario, granted, there's going to be in
some situations, it's not going to be the exact same thing.
There might be some differentiating, especially if it involves race. Right,

(06:47):
it's not going to be equal. If it's flipped around,
like just perfectly equal, it's just there's a whole different history.
There are so many things that get involved. It might
not be the exact carbon copy reaction, but it shouldn't
be the exact opposite either. Right. If I say, you know,
Juwan Howard, he should be suspended for the remainder of

(07:09):
the season. But if it's Greg Guard who's doing the
slapping instead, it's the exact opposite situation. And I'm telling
you I'd give Greg Guard maybe one game. And that's
that's an issue. I'm not being objective at that point.
So whatever your stance is, I think it should be
pretty close to the same thing. If the scenario is

(07:30):
completely reversed. And if you say, yeah, my stance would
be the same, at least you're being objective. At least
you're being consistent. If you're inconsistent, it's like, why how
did you get there. Why do you say, oh, this
guy did nothing wrong. But if it's Greg Guard, it's like,

(07:51):
you know, oh, this freaking guy over here, what's he doing?
Why is that there's something at play there? And that's
the thing only you can answer that honestly if you're
being consistent. If the scenario was flipped around now going forward,
I thought that Juwan Howard's statement was really good. If

(08:13):
he had this to say after the game, hey, great,
But he didn't. Juwan Howard was like, I was just
I felt it was the time to protect myself when
he put hands on me. It's like, bro, Greg Guard
was not a threat to you at all. I'm watching
the replay right now. There's a guy in between Greg

(08:34):
Guard and Juwan Howard who's a policeman. There's a cop
right there. Juwan Howard's not in danger at all. He's
not in a back alley and there's five dudes with
menacing looks on their faces looking to do ill. But
he's on the court of a big ten game and
Greg Guards stopped him to say, Hey, here's why I
called time out. Greg Guards shouldn't have done that, I

(08:58):
admit that. But Juwan Howard, what he did it's it's
going way too far. He wasn't in any danger this idea.
I thought it was time I needed to protect myself
from what It's just not the truth. Juwan Howard was
pissed and he overreacted. It wasn't about defending himself at all.

(09:19):
Now I thought his statement was really good. After the
suspension was handed out by the Big Ten, Juwan Howard
released a statement. I don't know if his arm was
twisted by the AD and the powers that be at Michigan.
Maybe that's the case. Hopefully this is heartfelt, but the statement,
it's it's what a grown up would say. Then, Juwan

(09:44):
Howard's statement was After taking time to reflect on what happened,
I realized how unacceptable of both my actions and words were,
and how many and how they affected so many. I
am truly sorry. I am offering my sincerest apology to
my players and their families, my staff, my family, and
the Michigan fans around the world. I'd like to personally

(10:05):
apologize to Wisconsin's assistant coach Joe Krabenhoft and his family too. Lastly,
I speak a lot about being a Michigan man and
representing the University of Michigan with class and pride. I
did not do that, nor did I set the right
example in the right way from my student athletes. I
will learn from my mistake, and this mistake will never

(10:28):
happen again, no excuses. That sounds great, and that's owning
the wrongdoing. That's saying I need to be a professional. Yeah,
right on the money. If he said that after the game,
I thought that would have landed way better than saying
oh yeah, I thought it was time to protect myself.

(10:51):
He put hands on me. It's like, wow, man, he
just open handed slapped a dude in the face and
it was all about what the other guy did. I
just I wasn't down with that, but hey man, it's
it happened. Juwan Howard apologized and we move forward with life.
You know, I'm not gonna hold onto this. I thought

(11:12):
the statement was on the money, and that's mostly what
I ask for is at least own your wrongdoing. I
don't expect people to be perfect, but if they're in
the wrong, just own it. Just say it. I was wrong.
I need to be better. I will be better. That
takes away a lot of my venom. It's really when

(11:34):
people just sidestep their responsibility, which Juwan Howard initially did
but then corrected it on Monday Night, eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox as your phone number. If you
have any thoughts on that, feel free to to hit
us up. Also on Twitter at the No Show if
you'd like to tweet in. Some people don't like to
be on the line, that's fine, don't want to call

(11:55):
in all good. Last thought I'll have on this. You
know what's funny to me is what started this whole
thing is that Juwan Howard was mad that Greg Guard
took a time out in the final minute. Wisconsin was
leading by fifteen points and so Juwan Howard's team was

(12:16):
full court pressing, which is odd. He said it was
just unnecessary taking a time out in that instance. Well,
it's unnecessary to press when you're down by fifteen in
the final minute. Two. But the thing I'd take away
it's just funny that a lot of fans medium members,
they'll say, oh, if you can't have a problem with anything,

(12:39):
just stop him. If you have a problem with something,
just stop him and there won't be a problem. You know.
The truth is, nobody likes their nose rubbed in a loss,
you know, and that's what really set off Juwan Howard.
Now I don't think that's what Greg Guard was doing.
He explained it. He was like, we only had four
seconds after the ball got knocked out of bounds to

(13:02):
get the ball over half court, Like I was gonna
take a time out so we could reset that clock
to ten seconds. So we understand that, but Juwan looked
at it like you're trying to show us up. You're
up by fifteen points and you're calling time out in
the final minute. That's how he looked at it. And

(13:22):
it's just funny to me because this happens time and
time again. Remember the beginning of the regular season in
the NBA, Russell Westbrook was ticked off because the Oklahoma
City Thunder hit a shot when they were leading, they
had the game in hand, and they hit a shot
and he didn't like it at all. And a lot
of people got on Russell Westbrook like, oh, if you
don't like it, just stop him. And it's just if

(13:45):
you're a competitive person, I can understand how if you
think the opposing team is rubbing your nose in a loss,
you're gonna be really ticked off about that. And that
doesn't explain or justify all the actions where you know,
Juwan Howard can just go ahead and slaphead coaches or
assistant coaches from that point on. But the point remains,

(14:08):
we often react to, Hey, if you've got a problem
with them dancing in your face, then just stop it.
But the funny twist is if we are in that
exact same situation, we don't like it either. You're telling
me if you went to the park and played a
pickup game of basketball and someone's giving you the business
and they're just they're doing the gritty and the running

(14:28):
man and talking trash, where you're gonna be like, well,
you know what, I gotta be honest here. If I
have a problem with that, I just need to stop them. No,
you're gonna be You're gonna be ticked off about that.
I just think it's funny that we rarely put ourselves
in that exact position of what it would feel like
to us if we think the opposing team is showing
us up. No one likes that at all, But it's

(14:51):
really easy from your couch to say, oh, you just
gotta get over that. If you don't like it, then
stop it. Stop them It's just it's easier said than
and I think it's funny for everybody who's overreacted at
the park, you know, because someone showing them up, they'll
be the first people to say a head coach, a player,

(15:12):
they should they should just stop them if they have
a problem with it. Easier said than done. Long story short.
I think the suspension should have been longer for Juwan Howard,
but I do like that he owned the wrongdoing and
we can turn the page on this one at least
I can. Your thoughts more than welcome, though, if you
have something to add. I planned to get to all right.

(15:33):
Some people want to check in. I will get to
the militia right around the corner. Oh, I'm going through
the notes. I have a cooking question for Roberto around
the corner. There's something I read. I don't know if
he's going to sign off on this or not. We'll
find out. I'm Brian though in for Big Ben. Keep
it locked right here on Fox Sports Radio. Be sure

(16:41):
I've got two random questions for Eddie Garcia. First off,
who's a band that you just hate? Anybody that comes
to mind off the top of my head. No, but
I'm sure that he exists. It's about to Tommy that
you hate the Cranberries. I do not he the car No, Brian,

(17:03):
Oh No, No, I don't hate the cranberries. It's just,
you know, it just got me thinking, you know, because
it's not everybody's cup of tea. I mean, who doesn't
love the song Zombie? Come on, it's a classic right there? True? Um,
but uh no, if you think of something throughout the
rest of the show here, Eddie, please let me know. Brian. Yeah,

(17:26):
I know, we can't make it through a show without
bringing this up. It never happened. Let the record show.
I did not bring this up, Eddie, And I didn't
even go into a whole spiel over there about I'll
just leave it right there, leave it right there. Now.
My other question is, are you a fan of chili,
Eddie Garcia. You're not talking about the red hot chili peppers,

(17:46):
are you? No? No, no, just an actual chili. Do
you like to eat chili? Yeah? Generally speaking. Um, we
used to have a tradition on Halloween that my mother
in law would make us a big old badge of
chili with corn bread and it was fantastic, but she
got tired of doing it, so now we just buy tacos. Okay,
all right, so passing grade? Is that safe to say

(18:10):
how you feel about chili? Or I got problem? With
no problem with it. Okay. Now I bring this up
because Roberto, I will see your pictures every now and then,
and I think you had some chili posted recently, did
you not. Yeah, you have it. You had chili night. Okay.
So I randomly saw something today and I wanted to
run it by you. So it just says this, it's

(18:33):
a quick little blurb. There's one unexpected ingredient that's bound
to satisfy every chili lover's taste buds. And it says,
according to the kitchen, that ingredient is coco powder. And
then it goes on to say you may associate chocolate
with dessert, but rest assured adding cocoa powder won't make

(18:58):
your chili sickeningly sweet. Instead, it'll contribute a layer of
richness and balance out the spiciness, especially in plant based
chili where the savory quality of meat is absent. Cocoa
powder adds complexity of flavor. Do you agree with it? Yeah,

(19:18):
that's correct. My mom uses a chocolate and a lot
of her stuff that she makes. Yeah. Yeah, very nice. Yeah.
So do you ever use cocoa powder? Cocoa powder, No,
I'll use uh. I think it's the brand is it's
by Nestling. It's like this old gramma on it. It's
like a hard h It's actually like a hard like
old school like chocolate. It's used mainly for like purposes

(19:40):
of cooking. My mom uses it all the time, very nice,
real fast. What's u one of the most random ingredients
you use in any dish to get a certain flavor
out of it that we'd be like, really you use
that in that? Does that make sense to you? Yeah?
I don't know. H What could I say? Uh? Maybe? Uh?

(20:04):
For like these A lot is oranges? Yeah, I would
say it's maybe. For some people it's weird oranges. One squeeze. Uh.
For my marinada carnasada, that's the special INGREDI yeah, you
gotta you have to have oranges in that and the thing, yes,
freshie squeeze it's good. Yeah. And then to alight someone

(20:29):
I thought of someone. But if you're not done with
Roberto continue, No, No, we're good, We're good. I'm excited
for this. Who do you hate Eddie? Well? Uh, I
was thinking about it. And and this is a legendary
band and I don't like any of their music, And okay,
I wouldn't listen to any of their their songs. The
Grateful Dead. Oh dude, that's at the top of my
list too. It's hilarious you said that. I've almost gotten

(20:53):
into a fight with one of my good friends when
he was listening to Grateful Dead in his own how
that's how much I hate the Grateful Dead. I kept
on turning it off and we almost WoT to appropriated
someone else as well. You can just say, you know
what I thought of something I need to do. I
gotta go, Brian. You just need to see him live. Man.

(21:15):
You need to be in the right head space, and
you know you just gotta It's always a mark of
a good band. Yep, right, Yeah, you gotta be stoned
out of your mind and then you'll get it. Yeah. No,
I'm the same way, Eddie. That's hilarious. I don't know
what it is, man. And you've got Andrea on hold
a bad Yeah? What is she a Grateful Dead fan? Oh? Yeah,

(21:38):
Andrew is a deadhead. I didn't know that. Oh man,
we'll get to her very quickly then. I didn't know.
She's so nice. She's not gonna be like, oh, you're
dead to me. Could you imagine Andrea Ever saying that
she'll just give us some some info on the you know,
on the signs and uh, and we'll be all good.

(21:58):
Be sure to catch live editions the Ben Maller Show
weekdays at two am Eastern eleven pm Pacific. I'm George Reister,
host of the Reister or Wrong podcast. This is the
intersection where sports, business, society, and pop culture meet. The truth,

(22:20):

real conversations happened. Listen to the Rights or Wrong podcasts
on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get
your podcasts. Bright an update on a story that Ben
and I talked about yesterday. Apparently a large group of

(22:43):
agents and their clients had told the PFL that if
they didn't change their boat excuse me, bubble protocols for
the upcoming combine, they weren't going to go. And Ben
had thought that this is about wanting to include posses
sort of kind of like, uh, that these draft guys

(23:06):
want to bring in their own trainers and doctors stuff,
and I thought it was just that they didn't want
to deal with the bubble stuff anymore, or maybe it
was a combination the two, but anyway, So, the NFL, apparently,
in the response to this potential boycott, have tweaked their
Bubble rules for the upcoming Combine. While players will be

(23:27):
required to wear a mask for medical exams, they will
not have to wear a mask while on other other,
uh you know, things that they're doing at the combine.
So during a medical exam, they are required to wear
a mask, but at other times it's only recommended but
not required. And they also said that while they encourage

(23:48):
players to remain in these secure combine areas, they it
is not going to be required. So on their free
time they will be permitted to leave the secure combine areas.
So apparently they've they've heard the uh the complaints of
the players not wanting to be locked down on the bubble,
and they have responded and tweaked their rules. So we'll

(24:11):
see if this satisfies the agents and the players. Ye
strange story, right, because yeah, they were about to boycott
the comboint the combine one hundred and fifty five players.
They're like screw this. We're not feeling the bubble. So
it's been unbubbled, as you just said, Eddie, they're slightly unbubbled.

(24:32):
How about um, like the posse theory, can you have
like your own doctors and all that? Is that part
of the deal now too or might not be changed.
I didn't see that part of it, as far as
them loosening up the restrictions on how many people they
could have there, as far as maybe family members or

(24:53):
like like Ben was saying, their their team of people,
so to speak. So yeah, it's an odd story to me.
It was like, we're still doing bubbles. I know that
the pandemic isn't over with, but we're far beyond the
beginning stages of that, you know, with lockdowns and bubbles
and all of that stuff. Obviously a lot of people

(25:15):
are vaccinated. I was surprised there was a bubble to
begin with. But I was also I can't keep track
of where you are, where are you currently at if
you don't mind devote Indiana? Okay, what's going on in Indiana?
Because here in California we're still wear your lockdown pretty good. Well,
I don't know, I want to say that I don't
want to say lockdown, but the masks are definitely a
requirement and you can't go in any stories without it
and all that kind of stuff. No, it's more of

(25:37):
a free for all over here. I mean it might
change from city to city or county to county. It's
I mean, there's a lot of differentiating I guess sometimes
state to state, but no, it's it's a lot different here.
Like I've visited New York City not too long ago.
I'll be there next week also, and you gotta literally

(25:58):
you have to have your VAX card on you to
go in anywhere. But it's not like that here, So
I can't imagine it would be like that in Indianapolis.
But whatever, Hey, I can understand why players don't want
to be confined just to their hotel room. But at
the same rate, it's a business trip. This is a
big deal. It's really important. There's millions of dollars at

(26:19):
stake with how you perform at the combine. And I'm like,
it's not exactly a jump in town. Are you just
itching to get out and get a part of that
Indianapolis nightlife over there? So I was a little bit surprised.
I've never been to the combine. Is is there a
lot of networking that goes on for players and things
like that at that Well, I mean there are a
lot of interviews, right, a lot of teams interview them

(26:40):
and their business deals to be made. Or is that
probably after the draft? I mean no, yeah, that's I'm
just saying it's a it's like a business trip, meaning
you forty time matters a ton and you know, right
like it shouldn't be. Hey, I'm gonna go out tonight
and have a great time. It should be. Man, it's
a big day. I gotta get And I was arguing
with better at least I don't know if his argument,

(27:02):
but I said, you know, I get why you have
this team to get you ready for the draft, but
why do you need to take him with you? I mean,
they haven't they prepared you for that? You need them next?
You saying, all right, run her fastest time. Haven't we
already done all that just like we practiced. Go get them? Yeah, now,

(27:22):
I hear you. It's a strange scenario. But hey, they
they loosen things up and it seems like there's no boycott.
So that's good. Let's go out to the phones. As promised, Andrea,
she's over there in Berkeley. What's going on, Andrea? Yes,
I'm enjoying the scorpio banter between you and Coop. I

(27:42):
think it's a fun, lively show. Yeah. Now, are you
okay with Eddie and I hating on your Grateful Dead?
What do you think about that? Oh? Yeah, no, it's fine.
It's stop for everyone. It's kind of an acquired taste.
And you know, I go to Graceful Dead Night. The
Giants have that every year, and there's a lot of
people in the stands that aren't Grateful Dead fans per se,

(28:03):
but they're there so, you know, to each his own.
That's what makes the world go round. See, that's what
I love about you, Andrea. I wish I had like
the love gene that you have. I have it, but
it's not as strong as yours. You know. I have
like the go jump in a river gene from time
to time, and I wish I was just more loving
like you. You'll it's all good, it's fine. It's not

(28:24):
for everybody. No, nice, Yeah, that's fine. Know you're a
Scorpio's I frankly I admire your intensity, you know, well,
good I appreciate that. I'm glad you do. Yeah, so
this is quite interesting about Aaron Rodgers, speaking of which,
and you know, obviously sports astrology is my thing, but

(28:45):
also one of my passions is relationship compatibility, and I
thought it was really interesting. There's a lot of stuff
online about their compatibility and they have the same astrologer.
And Shylene is a Scorpio, just so you know. November fifteen,
nineteen ninety one, nine h six pm, Upland, California. She's

(29:06):
a Scorpio, which is very intense with moon and cancer,
very emotional and Pisces rising so very you know, triple
watersign very emotional. And Aaron Rodgers he's a sad you know.
December second, eighty three, two fifty pm, Chico, California at
birthtimes an info is out for everyone to notice, and

(29:27):
he's very free spirited. So it was kind of interesting.
Right now people bring their transits to the relationship dynamic.
He's in major rebellion, Brian against everything and every one. Yeah,
it seems like it. And that's Urani's planet of freedom,
transitting his seventh house, which is relationships with others, So

(29:48):
you know she's part of that. But you know all
the things that Instagram post that you alluded to. Yeah,
that was pretty out there. So yeah, he's just he's rebelling.
He's definitely rebelling with like a capital R. So it'll
be interesting to see what ends up happening. By the way,
real fast, because you've mentioned scorpios a couple of times,
I have to know this before you go. Andrea, give

(30:10):
me a sign that scorpios are typically compatible with and
normally incompatible with, because I don't know that. Oh sure, Well,
other water signs usually can be a good fit. It
depends on the rest of their chart. That would be
cancer sun sign and Pisces, and then fellow earth signs Capricorn, Burgo.

(30:32):
Taurus is your exact opposite, Okay, so that depends and
shout out to Ben being a Taurus, they're in spirit,
so Tauris, you know, opposite's a track, but they can also,
you know, kind of be a little challenging at times, right,
So that would be water and Earth signs are usually
compatible with Scorpio, which is a water sign. Okay, I

(30:55):
got it. Is there anything that I should avoid well,
like and signs like other six signs. Sometimes Aquarius can
be a little stubborn and Leo. You know, a little
clash of the egos there, sek in Leo's look out
for him, right, Yeah, those are the other fixed signs,
so it can be a bit like a battle of
wills at times. Okay, I'll keep that in mind, Andrew.

(31:18):
Good stuff is always. I hope you have a pleasant evening. Yes, thanks, Brian,
enjoying the show. Thank you. I appreciate that. Very nice.
I didn't know that Rogers in rebellion mode makes sense,
all right. A lot to get to coming up next.

(31:39):
There are sports injuries, and then there's this story. I'll

(32:23):
weekly features like Ask Ben and Lame Jokes and Alive
from the Fox Sports Radio studios. In for Ben Maller,
it's Brian no Hey. By the way, Eddie Garcia, I
saw this random story about a cross country skier who
got injured during the Winter Olympics. So it's this guy
from Finland, Remy Lindholme, and so he was racing on

(32:47):
Sunday and he was injured. Now that's not your run
of the mill injury he suffered. This is a true story.
A frozen penis is what happened on dead serious apparently
frigid conditions. They even shortened the race. It's supposed to
be fifty kilometers, they shortened it to thirty kilometers because

(33:10):
of the weather. This is apparently the second time it's
happened to this guy. And uh yeah, he said, uh,
our guy, Remy, he needed a heat pack at the
end of the race to thaw out the region will
call it. And his exact quote when the body parts

(33:32):
started to warm up after the race the pain was unbearable.
It's what our guy Remy had to say. That's uh,
that's brutal. Right there, Dick's right up there though. Yeah, absolutely,
well that's uh, that's quite a story. It's a downer, right,

(33:53):
maybe a better choice happy. I think he's gonna be okay.
You know, went through some pain, but I think all
as well, all as well, so like I don't know
his toes and his nose were they were fine, but
apparently so yeah, like interesting. You know. The funny thing

(34:18):
is if this is the second time, Yeah, I'm taking
every precaution pack down there or something helps umping. Yeah,
he did suck. Something going on, freezer, a safe bag.
You're gonna be all right. I'm gonna make it any headband,
all right. Let me see if our guy David is

(34:40):
there in Orlando day. Have you with us here on
Fox Sports Radio? Yes, sir, I am. What's going on, Dave? Um?
I just got a quick comment about the Aaron Rodgers thing.
I think there's something that everybody's overlooking. This hit me
like a ton of bricks. I haven't read everything that
he said, um in his comments, but from what you've said,

(35:02):
I'd like to think like I hope that the content
was true. What you're saying about his teammates, teammates, whatever,
you know, coaches, all those good things. Those things all
sound it great, But that is the guy in my
in my opinion, the agenda behind that one hundred and
ten percent directed towards this woman that he broke off

(35:25):
the engagement with all this stuff about all this love
pouring out of the love and with everybody. That's to me,
that's one hundred and ten percent what that was about.
He was he was hoping that she was going to
hear this and hear all this love and what a
great person he is and how greatfully is and all that.

(35:45):
That's what that was about. I think everybody's overlooking at
hey maybe maybe I'm not sure. That's the problem though,
is you have to do these guessing games with what
he actually means. You know. I hate that how Aaron
Rodgers gets down like that. We'll have a tale of
the tape, which athlete is more cryptic coming up here

(36:06):
in a few minutes. Let's go back out to the phones, though.
Holler and James is with us? What's going on? Holler
and James? Oh you with us? Holler and James, he's
with us, but he's uh, he's dreaming about something because
I don't hear snoring. That's true. We usually do hear snoring.

(36:28):
We normally hear snoring very loud. Yeah, that makes me
he just stepped away boisterous snoring. He went to go
get something to drink. Is that what's going to be
to take some of his meds? Huh? All right, we'll
check back with Holler and James up concerned. I'm not
hearing snoring right there. Um, you know, let's get whoop
whoopee Pie next hour because it's it's too short. I

(36:51):
love talking to Whoopie Pie Blair, and we've only got
for less than a minute here, So we can't do
whoopee Pie like that. Too short, too much masturbation. The
problem here exactly, Like, how are we supposed to do
a thirty second call with Whoopie Pie. That's just cutting down,

(37:11):
that's cutting down on all the goodness. We can't do that,
absolutely cannot do that. All right, we're looking at a
big final hour here. We have our prices, right styled
game to play. It's gonna be a crowdpleaser. Also, the
athlete that is more cryptic, This is a photo finish.

(37:32):
This is a tale of the tape type situation. So
we will compare that and we'll get back to the ball.
A couple of NFL notes that are worth your time
finding out all that on the way, and a powerful
final hour keep it locked right here.
