Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, butter my biscuit. It's our number three, our number three.
Are you ready for me? As we talk hockey, the
rare and appropriate hockey talk here in our number three.
What storyline stands out most from the Carolina Hurricanes taking
home Lord Stanley's Cup as they eliminate in Las Vegas
(00:22):
in the Stanley Cup Final final wrapped up last night
in Sin City. Also at the World Cup. Does the
World Cup's opening TV rating a dominant rating prove that
soccer is finally a mainstream hit in the US or
is there something else going on? We'll examine that. And
how is wide receiver Brandon Iyuk navigating his situation with
(00:46):
the forty nine ers. We'll give you the latest revelations,
great balls of fire. It's our number three. You've heard
of the struggle bus. This was not that. This was
the opposite a one and eighty degree bus situation. Welcome
in the beginning of another hour of the Ben Malar Show.
(01:08):
We are in the air av Rewhere the Mallard monarchy
continues as we chop and change coast, stuck coast, border
to border and beyond on the vast and utopianly powerful
microphones of FSR ammating, live good live from the print.
(01:35):
That's right, the carbon footprint. We increase our carbon footprint.

(04:12):
Made the shot, all right? So I lead. This hour
is from hockey. What what are you doing? Have you
lost your bloody mind? No, I have not lost my mind.
I was watching the Stanley Cup final. Well, I have
held the Stanley Cup. I did a couple of times.
I haven't kissed it like Eddie EDDI like tongue kissed
(04:35):
the Stanley Cup, which is rather rather disgusting, those kinds
of bacteria and all that. But I leave. This hour
is from Viva Las Vegas, and that is where turnout
the lass, the parties over. That's a rap for the
NHL postseason. If you were not watching, you missed it,
bat chop by you. Perhaps you were not you were
(04:57):
watching the UFC thing at the White House. Well, the
Carolina Hurricanes held Vegas to a total five total goals
five total goals the last couple of games here in
four and five, and then shut them down in Game six,
which I'm told is good three to nothing was the final,
(05:17):
and that means that the old Hartford Whalers have won
a title for the first time in twenty years. Carolina
center Jordan Stall received the con smythe trophy, which I'm
told is the Playoff MVP. And the story here Brandon Bussy,
who had his first career playoff shutout, stopped all twenty
(05:38):
two shots. Of course, Vegas went a long stretch in
the second and third period without even getting a shot
on net. That clinches it. And so Carolina wins behind
their backup goalie. So that is a good jumping up point.
Let us discuss the question what storyline stands out the
most from the Carolina Hurricane taking home Lord Stanley's Cup.
(06:03):
So I've got Panera, bread, Beyonce, and Cold War, and
we will combine all of these things together and we're
gonna get back to the basics, is what we're gonna do.
We're gonna get back to the basics. So, first of all,
the Golden Knights did not lose the Stanley Cup. Brandon
Bussey repossessed the Stanley Cup. But you talk about coming
(06:26):
out of nowhere, teams spend a king's ransom, They spent
a fortune in that sport on goaltenders, big name, high
paid goaltenders, that is the most important position. You've got
to have a big time goaltender. And Carolina found their
difference maker essentially on the clearance rack, and he outplayed
(06:48):
the luxury models when given the opportunity. We're talking about
the twenty seven year old. They call him a journeyman.
He's only been in the NHL this season from Long Island.
From what he's out there, the dog on Long Island,
undrafted back up who turned in a game for the
Ages there and that was his off Broadway debut and
(07:12):
standing ovation for Bussy in net there. And so this
is like a visit to Panera bread this story. And
so I don't want any bread. I want the soup.
Can I get the chicken soup for the soul? I
would like the chicken soup for the soul. Okay, sure?
And I want a side of a brick wall with
a New York accent, a Long Island accent, no problem.
(07:34):
So entering in relief for Frederick Anderson, the backup goalton
who did play a fair amount. This is not he
didn't play that much. He did play a fair amount.
But Bussy became a holy terror in net for the
Carolina Hurricanes, a classic right out of sports riding one
oh one underdog turns hero fairy tale on the biggest
(07:56):
stage of them all. How good was he starting in
Game three? Starting Game three, Bussy stopped of eighty seven shots.
He stopped eighty one of the eighty seven shots. That
is a lethal like an anaconda, ninety three point one
save percentage, and he made NHL history, we are told,
as the first goaltender to win his first two career
(08:19):
playoff starts in the Stanley Cup. And Vegas never stood
a chance against the guy who has thirty one career
wins in his career and signed a contract extension recently
five point seven million, which is a lot of money
to you and me. However, in sports, even in hockey,
(08:40):
if you're a goaltender and you signed a contract for
five point seven this guy's making a lot more than that.
So congratulations to the story Brandon Bussy. That stood out
there and not too much juice. This series got off
to a legendary start between Vegas and Carolina, and as
(09:01):
Vegas appeared to fizzle out all right now. Secondly, the
soccer that's right soccer. I said it the US men's
national team over the weekend, they get a four to
one win. Youaphomi was all excited about that over Paraguay
in the opener. It's not a single elimination situation. They won,
and so they said a record the story here is
(09:23):
the record amount of people that were watching on Fox.
You better watch And apparently you were, and the people
next to you, and your neighbors and their neighbors, and
everyone was watching. Everyone was watching. Now the match averaged
fifteen point nine million viewers on English language the United
(09:44):
States television is Fox Fox won and Tuby. Who the
hell's watching Tuby? I don't know somebody is anykay? So
Fox Fox won and Tuby. This is the most watched
FIFA Men's World Cup telecast for the United States in
English language in the history of the World Cup. Of course,
(10:04):
for many years, nobody paid attention to the World Cup
in the United States. Only in the last generation if
people stop started to pay attention to the World Cup,
so all kinds of baffo soco. Ratings just tremendous. Again, though,
the most watched US men's national team Men's World Cup
telecast and English language in the history of television, and
(10:26):
that represents a one hundred and six percent increase over
the twenty twenty two Greek Stage the group stage open
against Wales that averaged eleven point seven million people to
watch they peaked. The broadcast on Friday peaked at eighteen
point eight six million, which is a pretty solid number
(10:48):
considering how many options we have to watch and to
listen to things and whatnot. Here. That number also put
the soccer match close to Game one of the NBA
Finals in terms of ratings. The Finals threw sixteen million viewers.
And they're claiming the soccer propagandists, they're telling us, well,
this is proof right here, this is it that this
(11:10):
is mainstream.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Now.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
There's global appeal, but there's an American appeal as well
to soccer, and so that's where we are. The question,
does the World Cup opening TV rating prove that soccer
is finally becoming a main stream spectacle in the United States?
(11:33):
So I have I've wrote on A and n as
in absolutely not. I'm not there, absolutely not. So I
would say, don't confuse a global circus with domestic demand.
That would be a mistake. This wasn't America falling in
love with soccer. It's a party and we're all invited
(11:55):
because it's here. It's in our backyard. And soccer didn't
break through. Giaga is what broke through here. And that's
a big part. This location. Location location. When the World
Cup is in Qatar, right, or Russia or somewhere far
far away from North America, your run of the mill
(12:15):
American sports fan is not going to go out of
their way to wake up at five in the morning
for a group stage match. It's not going to happen,
right And an occasionally sometimes the US will be in there,
they'll be playing for their lives and'll be a bunch
of people to it in. But for the most part
not the case. However, on Home Soil, God's Green Earth
(12:38):
here absolutely Sofi Sad impacted seventy almost seventy one thousand
people at in the Hood in Inglewood at Sofi Stadium
on Friday. There was a buzz. I watched it on
a Friday night. I was checking it out and still
the World Cup. Here's the thing there, there's the World Cup,
which is a spectacle, and that matters, right, that matters.
(13:00):
People are in they love spectacles. You love spectacles. I
Love Spectacles is just a little more on the line.
It happens every few years. The World Cup's a big deal.
The MLS, which is the professional soccer league in America,
is a subscription. There's a bit of a difference. There's
a bit of a difference the World Cup. Think of
the World Cup like Beyonce. Right. The MLS is open
(13:23):
mic night at Hahas Comedy Club is what it is.
Day to day soccer here remains a niche sport. Now
what is my evidence? I'll give you my evidence here
and at the same time, I will toot my own horn.
So Apple TV Plus, which we are told is the
MLS home channel. That's where most of the games are.
(13:45):
I think almost all of them are on MLS. MLS
games are on Apples TV Plus. They average the last
year right around one hundred and twenty thousand unique viewers
per match. So one hundred twenty thousand unique viewers per
match for MLS games. To put that in perspective, Okay,
(14:06):
our little dinky overnight show, our dinghy overnight show here
routinely commands a much larger audience and we're on in
the middle of the night. We have a more dedicated
more active follow following than the primary domestic soccer league
can muster. And they have live game action that isn't
(14:27):
broadcast at four in the morning. All right, so my god,
all right now final thought to the NFL. We go.
I can't go more than a couple hours talking to
the NFL. So we go to the NFL where wide
receiver Brandon AYUC posted a new Instagram video. We love
these cryptic Instagram videos from Brandon iok and so the
(14:48):
latest video he posted of himself dancing in a row
and boxer shorts because that's just what you want to
see with the caption coming to an end zone near you. Okay,
who's end zone? So this follows him the player deleting
(15:09):
a couple of recent videos where he criticized the forty
nine ers for not releasing him. So he's deleted some
of those videos and now he's moved on to this
video where again he's out there in his robe and
boxer shorts having a grand old time. So the question
here it is, how is wide receiver Brandon IOG navigating
(15:29):
his situation? How would you say he's navigating a situation
with the forty nine ers. So he has now weaponized.
I use the word weaponize. He's weaponized Instagram like it's
a spy tool from the Cold War. This Instagram he's
negotiating through Instagram, squeezing the Niners on social media, treating
(15:50):
the Niners like one of those stress balls from a
corporate retreat and to squeezing, squeezing the ball. Now, he
went scorched Earth and then went delete, which makes no sense,
as we know the Internet is forever, and yet Brandon
Iock went scorched to Earth and then clicked the lead.
A strategy that is a dead give it, that is
(16:11):
a dead way that it's working. His plan is working.
He's going to be forcing his exit, and he knows
the leverage is shifting, and there are suckers out there,
like the Commanders, the Chargers, or a mystery team that
are circling like buzzards. Right, and so San Francisco, they're
playing Bart Bart chick it back Mark chick it with
(16:35):
a guy who already I'm pretty sure throughout the steering
wheel while he was racing in a drag race around
northern California, Brandon IOK. So that's where we are here.
The fortniteers are trying to hold the line, Hold the line.
But the saga is now a weekly, weekly soap opera.
That's where we are right now. Every week there's a
(16:56):
new update and all that stuff. And so suddenly the
silence to me does speak the loudest for the forty
nine ers wide receiver. Here, you don't delete videos unless
you think the deal is close and someone is advising you.
This is the universal sign. My agent told me to
chill out. So I'm going to be a good soldier
(17:18):
and I'm going to delete all of the messages even
though I don't want to, I'm going to do that.
So okay, fine, And when the social media artillery goes dark,
as it is in this case here, the paperwork or
the docu sign normally happens pretty soon after that. It
does seem all the key indicators are that Brandon IOC
(17:41):
has pushed successfully the Niners to the brink and they're
just like, this guy's so annoying. He's such a pain
in my tooks for John Lynch and Shanahan, let's get
rid of. So that's where I believe we are on
that story. It is the Ben Mahlor Show. As we
are rollin' rolin' Roland through the overnight hours, and if
(18:03):
you'd like to be part eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three
sixty nine, you can join the talk festivus here as
we work our way through the overnight hours. We did
have a story from last star. We didn't get to
this a bad job by us, so we'll have to
pick up the slack on that at some point here
hopefully this hour where an owner's no whoopee request rather
(18:26):
odd time. Now for the Mallar Riddle of the day.
And here's the Mallard Riddle of the day. Og Annanoby,
who had the big play the tip in that twenty
nine point comeback for the Knickerbockers, Well, the knick Star
og Anenobi was left baffled after an accidental blank happened
during the celebration. After the next one, the championship over
(18:49):
the weekend, again, Nick Star og Anenobi was left baffled
after an accidental blank happened during the nixt celebration. That
is the malary riddle of the day. The answer, we'll
get to it. We'll do it next.

Lorena FSR Tech Queen Hi Bell no talking and Kooper loop. Uh,
bronco Fin, that's a bronco fin. Your comments can and
we'll be used against you in the court of the
(20:56):
Malard Militia, So please act accordingly. Time out for the
Mallory Riddle of the Day. The Mallar Riddle of a
staple of this show by request from people like Ferg
Dog and Alf the Alien o Pinal, they demanded the
Mallar Riddle of the Day and has become a big
part of the show. So Nick Star O g Annenobi
(21:20):
was left baffled after an accidental blank happened during the
post championship celebration. So that is the question. What is
the answer, And let's see here just Josh in Cincinnati says,
an accidental run by, uh, some kind of fruit stand situation,
(21:42):
fully cooked pizza from Asher in parts unknown, Stevie Meatballs says,
an embarrassing tip in the toilet bowl water taking the
temperature all right? Uh nine oh four? Ray rights and
says when he found out weed man Hippie is going
to the parade, Rob the Goatman said, shart is the
(22:05):
is the answer? What else do we have that would
be a problem? Accidental moon landing from Fergnog championship towels
from King Rory. You don't say, I just did say?
What else do we have? Let's see page? Dan Manuel
and Guardina says Og was baffled to find in New
York City's Finest having a Philly Special sandwich straight from
(22:30):
the police horses. Wow, dear God, let's see here. Alf
the Allen says he was baffled as to why someone
would use Swiss cheese with his celebratory burrito. Moldy Swiss
at that. Yeah, that is you want to avoid the
moldy cheese. It's not not good. Donkey sauce it. What
is your favorite type of cheese all cheese cheese burger
(22:54):
that is my favorite too. That's why Marcel keeps winning
Caller of the Year almost every night, even when last
year and he was disappointed by that, But you gotta
tell you he is the level of knowledge that that
man and nobody else would have said that. The comedic
timing of Marcel to say favorite type of cheeseburger, Oh
my god, that's comedy, gold Man. What else do we have?
(23:16):
A page DN an image of Ananob paying Arnie Spaniard
for some personal coaching. Yeah, De Seger said that Arnie
was on the air when the Knicks won. He was
filling in. That must have been weird. What else we
have about rising to the occasion? From Doc Dan? That's
his answer. An accidental pie fight happened from Eileen in
(23:37):
San Francisco. Pizza Papa says an unexpected pee wee Herman
sighting a commode explosion from Eke in Roseville, Minnesota. Timmy
from Busco, indianis as an accidental cup check took place,
a beer fart from Johnny Q. What else do we have?
See page then John wrote in says something about AOC.
(24:01):
I'm not sure what that is. Steeler Nasty says pregnancy
happened ripping his pants from Jtluman. All right, one more time,
here we go. We'll get some calls. And also later
this hour we have the instant advice line. One more
time though the riddle. New York Knicks star O g
Annobie was left bath after an accidental blank happened during
the post championship celebration. H some skunks accidentally got released
(24:26):
onto the court. Yes, I did smell some skunk earlier
here in the building. That is incorrect. The correct answer
turns out that og n andob According to this, he
was left baffled after an accidental live stream mishap during
the celebration. He couldn't figure out how to turn the
live stream off his phone, and you could hear him
(24:47):
in the background asking, how do I turn this off?
I don't know what I goofed that gots it didn't
go live while he was getting it out. Well, that
has happened, but no, he did not do that at all.
And sharp right, Uh, yes, yes, that was shitning and
that can't He's no longer doing TV. He's doing some
podcast thing. Let's say hello to eed Dog who's on
(25:09):
Long Island. Hello, Eed Dog, welcome, hell.
Speaker 6 (25:14):
You today sir.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
If I was any better, I would have a cup
of water and I'd clear my throat. But I'm not
doing that. And I like that you have a lot
of phlegm in your throat. That's very nice.
Speaker 6 (25:25):
You know, I have some alogies.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
Are you annoyed? Are are you bothered? You're in New York,
You've lived there your whole life. The Knicks won the championship,
but you're you're not You're not a Knicks fan.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
I like the Knicks.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Yes, No, No, you're an Orlando Magic fan?
Speaker 6 (25:44):
Nice? Were that?
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Never?
Speaker 6 (25:47):
Listen? Must I understand this? Okay? Game five Knicks are playing?
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Did you look? Is it true that you lost your
voice cheering for the Knicks? Is that accurate?
Speaker 6 (26:00):
Was really live for them?
Speaker 5 (26:01):
So you know?
Speaker 6 (26:02):
Yes? But anyway, I had the next plus the five
and a half against me?
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Swears?
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Okay, congratulations. How much do you bet?
Speaker 6 (26:11):
One hundred? I?
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Do you want a few bucks? That's good?
Speaker 6 (26:15):
She checked the pocket. Get swimming on tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
I thought I thought you moved on from her.
Speaker 6 (26:23):
Yeah, I can't you.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
It's not that hard. Just don't you don't call her
and then she doesn't call you, and then that's it?
Speaker 6 (26:31):
Well, was he closing them.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Really, I thought she had a boy I thought she
had a boyfriend. I thought she had a boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Yeah, but she duld them.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Oh she did.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Okay, now listen, what cheese isn't yours?
Speaker 1 (26:47):
What was that? Can you translate? R? I can't. I
don't know if I got that. What did he say?
Speaker 5 (26:52):
Cheese is not yours?
Speaker 1 (26:54):
What cheese is not mine? Is that a joke?
Speaker 6 (26:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:57):
All right, what's the punchline?
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Joe cheese?
Speaker 6 (27:06):
Anyway, how's Lance the bush I was doing.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
I am not his mother. I have no idea. I
haven't heard from Lance in a long time. You're I don't.
I do not believe I am Lance the Buster Rivers keeper.
I don't know that he's working anymore. He was in
the Bay Area. I don't know what's going.
Speaker 6 (27:22):
On with him. He was a good call, and I
believe he was.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Savaniscuse she's a nice lady.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Well she doesn't call Aileen though you're you're saying she's
nice because she hasn't ripped you on X like everyone else.
I thought, Lucky Lucky Tony. Lucky Tony said, I know
you don't listen to my podcast, But Lucky Tony sent
an email to the mail bag, just waxing loquacious about
your calls, like he looks forward to what did I know?
(27:51):
He loves your phone calls. He can't get enough of
your calls. Are Yeah, it's wild. Isn't that crazy? Because
they talk about my listen so much clearly, like he said,
he literally listens just to hear e dog when dog
calls in. That's very bizarre.
Speaker 6 (28:09):
You're famous anyway.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Joe Dogg told me to tell you that he liked
the Knicks in six.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
Okay, Well that he didn't get it right, and the
Knicks didn't win in six, so he's wrong.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
My uncle was a lawyer and he he he thought
the us oden was in for three minute error.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Yeah, that was an error too. That was a mistake.
All right, Well, you dog got drink some water, maybe
some garlic, and get your throat back by night.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Listens.
Speaker 7 (28:38):
I like you?
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Okay, thank you, go away. There's a dog. Let's say
hello to Andrea. She's got some inside skinny on the
biggest story of the basketball world, Wemby having a hissy
fit after the NBA Finals. Hello Andrea in Berkeley, the
astrology insider.
Speaker 7 (28:58):
Yeah, Hello, Ben, are you if.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
I was any better, I would be a bee, but
not Wembe because they were lost. They lost there, So yeah.
Speaker 7 (29:08):
He gave Capricorns a bad name. He's born January fourth,
two thousand and four, and he was just like super depressed.
I mean, it's I understand, you know, when your team
loses and the Nicks win and so on. But Capricorns,
you know, you can take the high road or the low.
They're super ambitious, and I give them credit for that.
(29:29):
They're determined, but when they don't get what they want,
they get really angry and very what's the word like,
very difficult to be around. And he just had this
really like attitude and it was really hard to kind
of deal with that energy.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
I think the Yiddish term you're looking for a schmuck.
I think it's the term that you're looking for.
Speaker 7 (29:53):
There. You go right on and it's like, you know,
we win some, we lose some. You got to take
it in stride. But you know, the upside of Capricorn
is a super ambitious, pragmatic gold oriented slowly but surely
climbing the mountain. And the downside is if they don't
get what they want, they get really at you know,
(30:15):
angry and very sullen and very difficult to be around.
And even in the interviews he was just like, you know,
you felt like any question was like getting him angry.
So it was just kind of a difficult energy. I'm
actually going to do a podcast on the Knicks and
the Spurs, and he's going to be kind of leading
(30:36):
it off because he made such an impression negative though
it may be yes.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Yes, well very you know, he's listening. He's young guy.
He's got the world by the before world, but don't
tell me that I was already working here, but world
by the palm of his hands back in my name,
and he's as mad as a mad as a hornet
out there that a hornet.
Speaker 7 (30:57):
Yeah, but you know, it'll be interesting, you know, to
see you know, I'm gonna do Jalen Brunson. I'm gonna
do Victor Wuebayama the Knicks chart June sixth, nineteen forty six.
I'm actually going to put Phil Jackson in there. I
(31:17):
met him at what was called Positive Coaching Alliance dinner.
He's a fellow September seventeenth Virgo, and he's a dead
head and he's really spiritual, so I'm glad that the
Knicks won.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
And yeah, so all right, well virgo, we'll look forward
to that. Well, thank you, Andrew and virgo in service
on Actually you want to say hello to our friend Andrea,
thank you so much. There she goes where she goes,
only she knows. Jerome in Charleston. I haven't seen that
name in a while, bringing home Jerome? What is he
going to complain about today?
Speaker 7 (31:49):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (31:49):
Jerome?
Speaker 7 (31:50):
Hey?
Speaker 5 (31:51):
How come no one talks about the Nick Heavin the
second highest buerle and the entire NBA as a matter
of fact, pero fifty million, almost fifty million dollars higher
than the Spurs, who ranked twentyth. How is this? Like? Why?
Speaker 1 (32:08):
Why is that? Why is that? Why is that a
bad It's not a raged the Vicious story. Nobody says
it's a rag the vision story. But why is that
a bad thing? Shouldn't you want everyone to have a
high payroll? Why is that bad?
Speaker 7 (32:17):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (32:17):
Yes again, I know you. You're going to be battling
with the owners in baseball about the Sorry captain.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
I mean serious question, like why is that a bad thing?
Shouldn't you they shouldn't you praise the Knicks and say
they had, they spent money and they won a championship.
Isn't that great? That's wonderful?
Speaker 3 (32:34):
Right?
Speaker 1 (32:34):
What's wrong with it?
Speaker 7 (32:36):
Of course?
Speaker 5 (32:36):
But quit acting like you're rooting put the bad news beers. Okay,
I'm not acting.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
I'm not a Knicks fan. I don't care. I don't care.
I got family that are Nick fans. They're all happy
and good for them, but I don't care.
Speaker 5 (32:48):
Hour after hour, Okay, their roots for the poor, little
rich to poor little team. The camp put two rub
two nickels together. They got a two hundred million dollars
Perrot're a lot like the Dodgers. As a matter of.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Well, good you shouldn't be awarded if you spend money,
I see no problem with it. Spend more, spend more,
spend more. I think that's wonderful. You're you're right calling
up to complain, but you don't realize like this is great.
And by the way, corner of the stats I have
the next say they were the fifth I think you
said higher. They were fifth in payroll this year, so
good for them. Yeah, you got good players that cost money.
(33:25):
You gotta you gotta win, you want to spend money.
Good for you. Way to go and that Adam Noby.
Speaker 5 (33:30):
Guys, he's gonna make like forty million dollars a year
for the next three years. He's got even met an
All Star team. How is that possible?
Speaker 1 (33:39):
Because he's somebody in the Knicks said we'll give you
the money, and he said, okay, I'll take the money.
So that's it.
Speaker 5 (33:43):
You got that.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
It's not that hard, right, Joe. So it's the art
of negotiation. I'm surprised you didn't call up when Matt
they said mcafe's gonna get sixty million dollars a year.
I thought I thought for sure you'd call up, but
you didn't call up for that. I'm shocked.
Speaker 5 (33:57):
I don't care, man, You know you do care.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
You call all the time complaining about the one.
Speaker 7 (34:01):
Man, I'm poor.
Speaker 5 (34:02):
I don't worry about it. They're all going to be
broken a few years anyway because they don't know how
to manage it all. You don't do like Barkley. He
will go out and gamble and don't wait thirty million
dollars and uh and uh yes, Piano will give him
another two hundred million. Say here, take this, go gamble
some more. Y'alls, go throw some more money away. And
(34:22):
then I don't have to listen to him anymore. Okay,
he wants to be fired now anyway, because he said
something about Stefan Day's girlfriend, Cardi b. He said he
wished they would fire so they could pay him because
he's got a contract. I don't look to him now.
Why would I listen to him, oh Shaq or any
of them guys, or the commissioner, Adam Silver. He came on,
(34:45):
I just change the challenger. I don't want to hear
this crap man.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
You know what I love. I love that you are
so boffered, so bothered, you're so disturbed by this stuff.
It's wonderful. It's really just great that you call up
here a couple times a month and you just complain.
I just I can't get enough of it. I'm fascinated
by you, Jerome, I really am.
Speaker 5 (35:04):
Oh it's just so bastardized man with crap and bull
and no talent. People making a ton of money and.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
All that, and you, of course so talented. All the
money should go to you because you're so talented.
Speaker 5 (35:17):
No, no, just let me say this. If Lebron Jameson
had a team in the playoffs, they lost a twenty
nine one leads Fox would never stop okay, you would
never stop hearing about him because there's so much hatred
for that guy on Fox. They're just bring his name up.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
Well, I know we have we not ripped Wenby pretty
consistently since that twenty ninth pow. You might want to
go get your ears clean because you're obviously not paying attention.
