Speaker 1 (00:00):
How do you do? We're going bonkers in our number
four hour four And is that a Castle up ahead?
Yes it is. Did Stefan Castle put the wammi on
the Spurs by saying he expects to win the next
three NBA Finals games? What is up with that? You're

(00:23):
not supposed to do that?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
You?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Oh my goodness. We'll talk about that also. In addition,
what is the secret sauce for Bill's quarterback Josh Allen's
skyrocketing popularity in the NFL? And why, all of a
sudden is wide Receiver Brandon Aya cranking up the screws
on the forty nine ers another social media post? We

(00:47):
can parse the words of the forty nine ers malcontent
Wide Receiver. We'll get to all of that, and who
knows what else. Happy, Happy hump Day on this Wednesday.
It is our number four the Ben Malis Show. Click
that like button right there, right, little comment and give
us the five stars here it is our number four.

(01:10):
Snake bit you bit yourself with the snake No, that's
not true. Welcome in the beginning of another hour of
the Ben Malor Show.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
We are in the air ev reware confidence as we
are from blender to bliss our takes right in the
blender and then bliss coast to coast.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Border to border and beyond on the vast and pioneeringly
powerful microphones of fsr ammating live from the running, not
the running of the bulls, the running of the mouth.
We do it all night, every night in the morning,
guaranteed human from the world famous Fox Born Radio Studios,

(02:01):
where mo Joe Rising in the Bay reminds us. This
hour made possible in part by our friends at ty iraq.
That's right, tyer Rack. For over forty years, ty Iraq
has been helping customers like Noah in Austin find the
right tires for how, what and where they drive, ship
fast and free back by free road hazard protection with

(02:22):
convenient installation options which Danny in Nashville who lives in
Miami now loves, like mobile tire installation tire iraq dot com.
The way tire buying should should be. You see how
that it should be? Like that? Now Van the one
legged Mamma man he checks in. He says, hey, man,

(02:43):
let the people know about DraftKings. I said, yes, absolutely,
as long as Jerome and Charleston wants people to know.
The cup is taking over the US and only DraftKings
as you fully covered right now, use the promo code
Mallard to claim your special offerings again, that's promo code
Malor at DraftKings. The crown is yours and don't forget tomorrow.

(03:06):
We are planning things. To the late night drug tester
his idea, We're gonna bring back the Hopper, Hoppity hop.
The Hopper's coming back, and we're gonna have the World
Cup pick them first time ever in the history of
Fox Sports Radio, the World Cup pick them a blind
draw for all forty eight teams in the World Cup.

(03:26):
And then I got this message. Was it thumbs up
or thumbs down? Eddie from Charlotte? I think it was
might have been Neil from Fall River. It could have
been him, possibly Benito, the long suffering cowboy fan, or
Rich from Parts unknown. But they wanted you to know
about wee bol. It's time to get your financial portfolio

(03:48):

the wee Bowl app today or visiting we bowl dot com.
We both Financial LLC, remember SIPC, Fennrah investing in Ball's

You know what that means. Now we get to the

(04:12):
meat of the matter, and we begin with just a
little pro bound seatball, a little pro bouncing ball. We
started the garden. NBA Finals hit the pause button after
the Game three win by san Antonio. So Game four
will be coming up to night in the Big Apple,
and everyone in their mother still yapping about the words

(04:33):
of Stefan Castle, the player for san Antonio. So if
you didn't hear what he said, possibly not. I'm sure
you must have heard something about it by now, but
maybe not so. Spurs guard Stefan Castle made a bold decree,
a confident statement after san Antonio won Game three to
get back to two to one New York with the

(04:54):
lead in the NBA Finals. When asked if he expected
to win Game four, which is tonight, replied, quote, I
expect us to win the next three close quote now,
he later added, us just taking it game by game.
We love that, one game at a time, he said,
game by game, quarter by quarter, trying to walk this

(05:17):
thing down. Those first two games really hurt. I feel
like it was an eye opener for us, Castle said,
we definitely expect to come in tomorrow and come out
of here and with a win. So he's obviously talking
about game four. So that is a good jumping off point.
Let us discuss the question. Did many people saying this

(05:38):
is the case, did Stefan Castle put the whammy on
the Spurs by saying he expects to win the next
three games in the NBA Finals? Did this man put
the whammy on San Antonio? So I've got Cheetos after
Glow and Guantanamo, and we will combine all of these

(05:58):
things together and we are going to make a big
pile of the gobbagoo and we're gonna have the Babaganoche
as well. Both that. So now to begin here, to
tip off, the answer to the question is did we
asked the question did Stefan Castle put the whammy on
the Spurs? Now, if you've listened to me over the years,
you know my position on this. Uh, this is not

(06:20):
voodoo bugaloo, It is not that. Did you expect the
man to say he's planning on losing the next couple
of games? Were you hoping that the Foncastle would say that, like,
what is this amateur hour? The first time here is
your first rodeo? Is that it? You know what this is?
It is panash with the capitol P. Panash with the

(06:43):
capitol P. And think of it like a handful of
flaming hot cheetos, the puffy kind, right, because Castle is
puffing out his chest and of course his fingers are
turning orange. H just just because he's the confident with
the puffy, flaming hot cheetos, and he's strutting around like

(07:04):
a peacock. And he's got that alpha energy. So I
don't have a problem with it. And if you win
the next three, this becomes the thing of legends. They
make docu series on Netflix about it, and they write
books and all that. And if you don't, who cares.
You know, no harm, no foul. But Castle at this

(07:24):
point he's got more swagger than your run of the
mill TikTok influencer with the ring light. He's got that
going on. And as they say in the big leagues,
an old baseball phrase, a baseball fan, you know what
I'm about to say. In baseball they say, trust your fastball,
Trust your fastball. These guys that throw hard in baseball,
they'll try to throw slop up there and get it

(07:44):
out with the breaking pitches and just trust your fastball.
And this is his fastball. And besides the other thing
is it's twenty twenty six. Everyone just walks around. We're
all zombies. We're all on her phones all the time.
And this idea, well, the bulletin board, oh, it's gonna
be on the bulletin stop. It's gobblbea gook is what
that is? The Knicks they're not reading laminated quotes before

(08:09):
tip off, and even if they are, who gives a
rats ass? And the idea that you know, Castle's poking
the bear. He's not poking the bear, Stefan Castle. He's
walking into the woods with a fresh piece of steak
around his neck, bloody steak, and saying, come here, bear,

(08:29):
Come on bear, where's the bear? Where's the bear? And underwear?
That whole thing all right. Furthermore, we now go to
the NFL shop. That's right, we go to the NFL shop.
The NFL merch king of last year has been revealed.
You see this maybe not no, perhaps not. So we
learned it was not she Der Sanders, It was not

(08:53):
it was not Shedur Sanders. Now we learned that Bill's
quarterback Josh Allen. Josh Allen was the NFL's number one
seller most popular in merchandise sales in the NFL for
the last year twenty twenty five into twenty twenty six,

(09:14):
according to the NFL Players Association year end Top fifty
Players Sales list. That goes out to Terry in England.
Who loves a good list. Now, we don't do this here.
Josh Allen took the top spot for the first time.
He beat out Drake May of your Patriots. You Patriot
fans are so excited. Well we got a new quarterback.

(09:35):
Oh my god, this guy's actually they're going to get
the Super Bowl at all. Sequon Barkley of the Eagles.
Barkley was third. Now, the rankings are based on official
NFL merch sales jerseys, hats, t shirts, all that stuff.
They exclude personal endorsement deals, sponsorship income and all that stuff.
Alan led also an international jersey sales and bobblehead sales.

(10:02):
Fat head sales. There's a lot of Josh Allen fat
heads and bobbleheads out there in the world right now.
They'll end up in a landfill soon enough. Now, May
did actually edge out Josh Allen in Jersey sales in
the US, and more more people about Drake Maye Jerseys
than Josh Allen, which makes sense because Drake may is

(10:22):
still a nubie. He's a nubie and Josh Allen's been
around for a while. The question, though, what is the
secret sauce? Give me the secret sauce for the Bill's quarterback,
Josh Allen and his skyrocketing popularity, right at the very
top of the triangle of popularity. So this is easy peasy,

(10:45):
is what this is. He has been blessed, Josh Allen,
by the Godfather. He is a made man with the
Bill's Mafia. And when you're a made man, these kind
of things happen. Buffalo's passion for pigskin is the unofficial
state religion of Western New York at this point, and

(11:05):
the rowdiest congregation having a good old time at the
Hooton Nanny, and that is what fuels the merchandise. Else Obviously,
the Bills have been good for a couple of years,
in a number of years now, and Josh Allen, it's
not that hard. And the traveling circus of loyalty, now
you think of the circus I was a kid, was
like elephants, and they had different weird animals that they'd

(11:27):
bring out there. Now they got rid of the wolfsters,
got rid of all the animals. But the traveling circus
now is in Buffalo. It's loyalty wings and shattered burning
folding tables, That's what that is. And that has launched
Josh Allen again to the number one spotted on the

(11:47):
retail charts, a massive jump. He was sixth the prior
year and eleventh before that, and sure previous number ones
like Barkley and Philadelphia Jalen Hurts, they had their moment,
and Patrick Mahomes remains a top ten staple in Kansas City,
even though he had a miserable year last year and
was hart. Eight straight years now Mahomes has been in

(12:09):
the top ten. We are told, however, Josh Allen is
last season. The last year and a couple of months.
He has been basking in the afterglow of that MVP
award that he won a couple of years back, So
twenty twenty four MVP while simultaneously being unofficially anointed the

(12:29):
first ever Pope of Western New York. So congratulations to
Josh Allen. He is the only of that part of
Western New York. Josh Allen named the Pope, and international
fans can't get enough of him because he plays football
like a golden Retriever with a rocket launcher of an arm.
And the domestic fan base in Buffalo and Orchard Park

(12:51):
and all over there fiercely devoted, right devoted, and by
multiple jerseys. Got to have both the home and the road.
And you buy the alternate jersey, the third jersey, and
you put that on your snow blower, because every snow
blower needs a good, good alternative jersey. All right, last thing,
does San Francisco we go?

Speaker 4 (13:12):
Now?

Speaker 1 (13:13):
I was gonna mention this earlier. It's pretty much the
same story repackaged. There's a couple of different words. And
what is that we're talking about? The disgruntled wide receiver
who can be yours if the price is right. Brandon Iuc,
who is yet again airing his grievances with the forty
nine ers on YEP social media in a new video

(13:34):
posted on the Gram, not to be confused with the
old video that was posted on the GRAM. The forty
nine er I say that in air quotes the forty
nine ers receiver because he's not going to play for
them again to post in another video, and he directly
called out the team that he is technically property of,

(13:54):
without of course naming them explicity. He didn't say the
word forty nine Ers. This is continuing the long running
contract squabble and the drama o rama that is taking
place as he is stuck on the roster. The money
quote is from Brandon Iyuk, one of the great poet
laureates of our time. He said, quote, you want to

(14:15):
know why they really mad though? They mad because they stupid,
said Brandon Auk. Yeah, I'm not I'm just repeating what
he said. They mad because they paid me fifty million
in eight months, and they voided my guarantees for twenty

(14:36):
twenty seven, and I'm about to be on a new
team in twenty twenty six. They mad at themselves. Close quote.
It's the great poet laureate there, Brandon Ayuck. So the
question why, all of a sudden is wide receiver Brandon
Auck cranking up the screws on John Lynch and the

(14:56):
forty nine Ers and Shanahan and all these guys. Because
he's acting the player. Brandon Iaku's acting like the Niners
owe him a parade apparently with balloons and cupcakes because
he posted a few cryptic videos on the Gram. So

(15:17):
he's not really I wouldn't say he's escalating. I wouldn't
use that term. He's escalating this because something changed, Like
nothing's changed. He's escalating it because nothing's changed. That's why
he's making a big deal. But and the forty nine
ers are obviously slow playing this. We've talked about this

(15:37):
in previous episodes of the show, that they're slow playing this,
and they have a plan, and they're not going to
budget off their plan. And so he the player, is
weaponizing social media to force a timeline. And John Lynch
already said it's safe to say that Brandon Auk has
played his last snap in San Francisco. Yet they have

(16:01):
him in the NFL's version of Guantanamo Bay. No trial,
no release, no sunlight. That's it. Enjoy yourself, and they're
they're holding off here, the Niners on cutting him with
no hard deadline. There's no hard deadline. Is a squirming
he's squirming to get released. He wants to be released

(16:21):
or traded to the team he wants, and the Niners
have tried to trade him, and nobody wants him. Nobody
wants him, and so that's where and so Brandon is
going the squeaky wheel route or route is what he's doing,
except he's not. He's not really squeaking here. He is

(16:44):
screeching like the character from Saved by the Bell back
in the day. This is a w D forty proof situation.
There's no like, the noise is out there and you
can't there's no w D forty you can get for this.
The player is pouting, he's telling the critics to stop
running from the belt and all this stuff, and he's

(17:04):
using analogies about talking, you know, about day kids taking
the ball home, all this different nonsense he's brought up.
It's the NFL's version of slamming your bedroom door, huffing
and puffing, and I'm gonna show you. And of course
the forty nine ers they unplugged the Wi Fi. They

(17:27):
unplugged the Wi Fi, and training camp is it's rapidly
approaching about a month away. We are approaching. That's the
doomsday clock. And IUK just moved the hand to eleven
fifty eight. And it certainly seems like people have gotten
into his ear and said, listen, dude, you gotta become
a total a hole on social media, and the Niners

(17:49):
at some point will just say it's not worth it.
Let's just get rid of this guy and we'll release him.
It is the Ban Malor Show. If you'd like to

to revisit this because it's just classic. Well, I don't
want to give it away, you know, you don't. Just
bear with me, trust me. It's a good another good

(18:32):
goofy of Lebron James story as he continues to be
capitol o ob toose, capitol o obtuose. We'll get to
all of that. Also, later this hour we will have
password the word Game of the Stars. We'll get to
that and we will do it next.

(19:51):
tech Queen Hi Bell not mentioned my name and Cooble
Loop a Bronco fan. That's all fan, All right, your
comments cannon will be used against you in the cord
of Sports radio. Back back to it? Who do you
get back to it? And what's in the box? What's

(20:13):
in the box? Well, we have an update update on
the offensive Player of the Year in the NFL. As
the league decided to send Jackson Smith and Jigba the
wrong trophy. They have now corrected that he received a
package in the mail. Yes, so he has the proper trophy.

(20:35):
Now my question what did he do with the other
trophy because that's a very valuable item for those guys
like Darren Ravel and those guys that collect merch like
that's a very very exclusive item. I didn't even think
about that. Yeah, the first trophy that was sent to
Jackson Smith and Jigba said defensive rather than offensive. Did

(20:56):
he have to return it? I don't know. Jays N
said it was disrespectful. Yeah, see the old the Retha
Franklin song. Disrespect anyway, so he got the updated one.
It's all good. They've righted the situation. They have righted
the situation, so we're all right there. Hallelujah, And I

(21:18):
hope he enjoys that. Jackson Smith and Jigua not going
to get not going to get that. Those accolades again.
The rams, of course are loaded. The rumor the last
twenty four hours Aaron Donald's going to come back and
play how about Lebron James. Lebron James upset with those
that are criticizing Lebron James, of course, and the people

(21:41):
that have accused him of nepotism. Yeah, nepotism, says, I
don't play those games. Of course. It's all about Bronni James,
who signed a seven point nine million dollar four year
contract and has been horrific. It's like a make a

(22:04):
wish thing with Bronnie James, who the only reason he
was drafted most people believe is because of Lebron and
he is among the worst players and he hasn't even
played that much in the NBA. It's terrible. There's like
four hundred and fifty players in the NBA and he's
about the seven hundredth player. Let's go to the phones

(22:27):
and we'll say hello to Craig, who's in Utah. Hello, Craig, Welcome.
What's going on today, Craig? If I was any better,
I'd be a member of the Jazz, but not the
Utah Jazz because they're terrible.

Speaker 7 (22:40):
Yeah, I gotta agree with you. So then I want
to talk about Adam Silver and the whole Wemby incident,
and I think just the whole thing kind of perfectly
sums up Adam Silver's entire tenure as the commissioner of
the NBA. I mean, anyone who has a working pairaise
could have seen that that is a flagrant foul on

(23:01):
Wemby and they go to review today. And because Adam
Silver has no backbone, he does not care about integrity
of his sport. He just left it slides by, and
he hides behind the facade of league offices and other

(23:21):
teams and says, that's not a decision that's under my power,
knowing very well that is he totally has to say
in their opinion in that. And that's just my problem
with Silver is every time there's a chance to take
a firm stance, he hides behind committees and.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Well, we all do what everyone does. And I hate commissioners.
I can't stand commissioners. I had them, and they all
do the same thing. But it's not surprising the NBA.
This is, this predates Adam Silver. I love goofing on
Adam Silver and we try to figure out where he's
from outside the Milky Way, and is he the first
connection between humans and extraterrestrials. I love goofing on Adam

(23:58):
Silver on this one though, that's the playbook of the
old commissioner David Stern. They started that many many years ago.
And I remember watching Michael Jordan play, and I mean
at the game of the Jordan could literally commit twelve fouls.
They'd maybe called two on him because that was the rule.
And it's just continued. Whoever the biggest Lebron James also

(24:20):
the same thing, the special rules, and now Wemby's the
next guy. And that's how it is, and it's a
TV show and that's all they care about.

Speaker 7 (24:28):
Yeah, it's terrible. I think Vince McMahon is a better
at running league.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Well.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
He was a very good commissioner the WWE in terms
of the market growth of the WWE. With Vince McMahon,
next level. Thank you so much, Greig. Let's say hello
eenie meenie miney mo. Let's say hello to dark Goo
the comedian. Hello, dorkoh yo yo yo yo.

Speaker 4 (24:56):

nobody is as cool as I got. My friend is
no lie dig up stan Yo.

Speaker 1 (25:10):

Speaker 8 (25:13):
Raina. I'm gonna I'm gonna have you have me sweep
per offer feet at a meet and greet here in Hawaii. Hello?

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Is that is one meet and greet? We will all
go to Hawaii. If somebody wants to pay for us
to go to Hawaii, we will definitely go to Hawaii
and we will have a down. We'll do two or
three meet and greets back to back to back, and
oh my god, what fun that will We could do a.

Speaker 9 (25:34):
Luau one with a big old pin.

Speaker 8 (25:36):
For sure, We're gonna crown you the queen of Ewa
Beach and and wake it rain for La Reina.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Yo, Yes, exactly, exactly. And the rumor is that Dorko
is going to put some merch out there. Is that true, Dorko?
I'm hearing rumors possible malor paloser merch?

Speaker 8 (25:56):
Is it definitely a fact? And if you want your
name on the back, if you one of the stars
like Anthony and Louisiana or any of the big stars,
email me at just say your comedy show at what

T shirts and hats, right or just T shirts? Nice?

Speaker 8 (26:28):
All right? And we drew up a design today at them,
matter of look.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
At that unbelievable all right, well, I look forward to
seeing it. First I have to approve the design. You know,
it's my.

Speaker 8 (26:39):
Stars, however, so I think you will.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
All right, very good, Thank you, Dorcoh the Great Dorko,
the comedian. Let's say hello to Meta Glass Kyle. Hello,
Meta Glass Kyle. We do have password the word Game
of the Stars coming up here in a little bit. Hello,
Meta Glass Kyle.

Speaker 8 (26:56):
What what?

Speaker 2 (26:57):
First off? You know, I'm over here in this beautiful
desert lot looking at stuff. Uh. I thought of y'all
when I stopped by the store earlier and said, you
know what, I gotta tell Ben about this today and
we're gonna get into some basketball. First off, did you
know that they had two new flavors of the ritos
right now? And I think all three of y'all were

(27:19):
like this flavor? They're garlic parmesan.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
Oh yeah that sounds good. Yeah, it doesn't sound bad
to me.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
They're actually pretty good. I mean, who would have thought
that a tortilla coated and garlic parmesan would be good,
but it actually is.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Have you ever had Have you ever had garlic bread
with that little parmesan cheese on top of the guard.
It's wonderful.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Yeah, that's that's bread. Though, that that's different like a
tortilla chip, didn't make sense.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
They remember it's solid, salt, fat, and sugar.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
They're good.

Speaker 8 (27:53):
They're good.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
My second thing is the lot of Man from New York.
They used to call and play guess what I'm eating
or guess what I have for dinner?

Speaker 5 (28:01):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (28:01):
You you're talking about Marcel and Brooklyn. Yeah, all right,
well you're in for a treat. Marcell and Brooklyn say
hello to your fan, Meta Glass Kyle in Nevada.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
Can you believe it? Medaglass from Nevada, home of the
Golden Knights, Las Vegas Style.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Good to see. I don't yeah, I don't hoot for them.
I'm a black Hawks fan. No, no Golden Knight fan here, buddy.
But I love you. I love what you do.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Though.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
What did you have for dinner tonight?

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Well, believe it or not, you had to listen to
the food picks on Mondays only and find out.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, Marcel's buy the book, Kyle. He does not he
does not stray from like, what are we doing? Food?
Are we doing? Two TV picks? Is that what we're doing?

Speaker 4 (28:46):
Oh? Yes it is. It's a one safe tradition and
I guarantee it a metaphor from Nevada. You gotta play along,
so it's a dudelet get into it.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
