Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It is me Joey p Joep Zapia, and
today we're gonna take a look at the free agents
and the best landing spots for them for fantasy in
twenty twenty six, because well we're biased because it is
Fantasy Pros. Last time I checked, so we really care
about where they land. So I didn't get us fantasy points.
Not just help their teams, but help our teams. That's

(00:22):
the whole point. And to help us figure it out.
Tom Strachan is here and from the athletic Jake Seely.
We're gonna have some predictions from the boys and have
some fun here, gentlemen. For agency is always a frenzy.
It's a good time. Tom, Who are you most looking
forward to in terms of free agent this year getting
out there and testing the waters.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Well, I'm really interested in Isaiah Likely. I'm a Ravens
fan soph years. There has always been that question about
what could Isaiah Likely do if he was featured, and
it just feels like coming off the quiet year for him,
picked up a foot injury back in training camp and
it took him a while to get going. For some reason,
the Ravens resigned Mark Andrews, but now Isaiah likely gets
a free agency and I just think he is going

(01:03):
to be somebody we spend a lot of the off
season talking about.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
And Jake free agency, as we talked about with Andrew
Erickson just yesterday on the show. Obviously he's going to
impact other players on the rosters of which they sign,
usually negatively for the most part, sometimes positively depending on
the quarterback situation. But that's the whole point. It changes
not only the fantasy value of other players players, excuse me,
but it's also going to change how team's going to
approach the NFL Draft in just a few months.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah, that's the one thing I always thought about the
NFL is kind of weird that they do it opposite
the other three sports, Like why are we doing free agency?
Then the draft is then you can plan better. They
have the draft than the free agency. But the NFL
has to capitalize on having every month have something happened
for them. But it'll be very interesting, and yeah, it's
another show that I look forward to. With the shorts
that you and I did together, is today is like
what we think will happen. The one that you and

(01:50):
I did is not just what you were just talking about.
Is the impact of the fun that could happen if
some of these waterfall effects end up affecting teams and
thought they were going to get people and they went elsewhere.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah. So if you like practicality, stick around. That's this show.
If you like wish casting, go check out the short
version here in fifteen minutes with Jake Seey and myself.

you know if you are the big winner of the
Fantasy Football Championship Belt from Trophy Smack, the number one
destination for epic fantasy football hardware. All right, jent Art
with the quarterback position. You know, sometimes it's kind of

(03:03):
sad when you're a free agent and nobody wants you.
Will anybody want Aaron Rodgers this off season? Jake, why
don't you kick us off with Aaron Rodgers in a
potential landing spot and the couch is available also available
as an alternate, the cave.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I wasn't expecting that one, but yes, I put it
would be nice for all of us. It's just retirement,
just hanging up. You're done.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
The cave.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
It is the cave. It is at the couch. Whatever
he picks, ayohuashka, whatever he wants to do. The big
thing here is the interesting thing a Washka.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I think that's a town in Wisconsin.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
That was the crap that he was doing. Anyway, did
I mispronounced it? I don't even know. The point being
as many jokes as remain, it's funny. I did my
way too early rankings like everybody did. And somebody's like,
you have Sam Donald so low. It's like, do you
know who averaged more fancy points per game than Sam Darnald?
Aaron freaking Rogers. So if he happens to play next year,

(03:59):
and he he does still have a little bit left.
He had dk Metcalf and not much else. As we
know with the Steelers, as Arthur Smith tried to make
three tight ends work every single week is go back
to the Vikings, Go with Kevin O'Connell, Justin Jefferson one
of the top three four wide receivers in the NFL.
We go out on a high note where potentially you
could get back into the playoffs and actually do something.

(04:20):
And I just think that if we're talking about a
logical landing spot, that's not back with the Steelers. I
think Aaron Rodgers going to Minnesota to finish things out
with one more year makes sense and.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Gets the way the Packers twice too. That's whatever ex
Green Bay quarterback loves to do, right, go play for
the Vikings for a year. All right, Tom, give me
a landing spot for Aaron Rodgers. What do you think
it might be? And again, cave is still on the board.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yeah, I mean definitely, first option is cave, as long
as you come podcast from there or appear on Pat mccaffin.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
I don't think the WiFi is gonna be good in
the cave, Tom, I got yeah, But.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
I've tried to go a bit different because there's a
few of these. But I've agreed with Jacon so here,
I've tried to give us a different option. I've gone
with Arizona now, like look, the reports are that they're
looking for a split with Kyler Murray. And when you
look at what Aaron Rodgers did well last year, he
was more reliant on yards after the catch than at
any time in his career because you know, the arms
just starting to go. You look at what Arizona's got.

(05:10):
We've got Trey McBride, who was tenth among all tight
ends and wide receivers in yards after catch perception last year.
Michael Wilson's also top twenty five, we would be putting
Aaron Rodgers indoors, which at this point in his career,
after a year in Pittsburgh, he might fancy. We know
that he's wanted to get back across further towards the
West Coast at points in his career. Yes, it's not

(05:30):
right on the Ghost b it's closer now. I don't
really know where the Mike Lafer Matt Lafleur links could
be a positive or a negative of this, but they
do have Nathaniel Hackett, and we know that Aaron Rodgers
and Nathaniel Hackett are very close. So if we're just
trying to get slightly out outside of the box, I
think that the reasons why we could set Aaron Rodgers
up there, and I don't hate it. I think that

(05:51):
there's definitely some some players who would thrive more with
him than others. But yeah, I think this potential for fun.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Well, look, if you can't retire, the cl thing is Arizona, right,
just saying in every sense of the word, they got
the golf people were tired of Florida or Arizona typically,
So there you go. Aaron Rodgers and I might be
a caver to. There a lot of mountains in Arizona.
All right, let's go to Daniel Jones. I know on
the UH pod earlier, Jake, we had talked about a

(06:18):
fun landing spot of going back to Minnesota and how
that would really change the dynamic there, potentially to Kevin
O'Connell had him a few years ago there, he's probably
familiar with what goes on, how the offense runs, so
that would be fun. But again, in terms of predictions,
what do you think is a little bit more reasonable.
Is it just a return to Indianapolis?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
I think so, especially when you look at the fact
that they with all without telling us last year, They're like, hey,
Anthony and Richardson doesn't seem to be working. And I
don't know this one hundred percent. Anthony Richardson the player,
I mean, yeah, we would love to see him pass better,
But the big thing is is she hasn't made as
many improvements as they wanted. He also hasn't been able
to stay healthy. At some point, even like just go
back and kind of like change history and say he's

(07:00):
he's got a twenty percent improvement, he's looking like a
league average passer. He still gets hurt all the time.
And I think that's the issue that they're thinking of
with the Colts is that, you know what we have
to not only try to tie ourselves to Anthony Richardson
and say maybe he can improve, because he hasn't. It's
the fact that he needs to stay on the field
and can we count on that. And I think that's

(07:20):
why you say, all right, Daniel Jones was working. Yes
he got hurt too, but you know his was more
of a freak injury than what's been happening with Anthony Richardson.
And you see how well the offense work with Daniel
Jones obviously learned a lot and that's the reason we
had fun on that show. As I said, you go
back to probably where the improvement came in his career
was learning from Kevin O'Connell, and you go back to
an offense that can rely on Jonathan Taylor in the
backfield to soften up defenses. You have enough weapons even

(07:43):
if Alec Pierce leaves. And I probably see this team
address that issue anyway, even if Pierce does leave, is
that they're going to go back to Daniel Jones and
tie him in because I think the Colts see what
happens if they don't, which we talked about on that
Fun show, is then now they're stuck trying to make
sure that Anthy Richardson could do something, or maybe they
trace a Kirk Cousins, which I don't think they want
to go down that road. So I think they might

(08:04):
be aggressive in getting to Daniel Jones earlier free.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Agency and Tom There's also something that we said for Look,
Daniel Jones probably had the low success of his career
in Indianapolis. If you're Daniel Jones, maybe that does just
make sense.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah, I think so. It felt like the vibe between
everyone involved was really good, and why would he not
want to go back there when everything clicked for him?
As Jake says, yes, maybe Alec Pierce moves on, and
maybe they end up sacrificing Michael Pittman so he can
keep Alec Pearce. But there's still just so many good options.
You Look, you're supported by a good run game with
Jonathan Taylor, You've got Tyler Warren, You've got Josh Downs

(08:38):
who had a quiet season by his standards, but still
had eighty four targets, And I just can't think why
Daniel Jones would necessarily want to go elsewhere because if
he goes back to Minnesota, there will always be that
question of are they going to give JJ McCarthy a
run if he experiences a bit of downtime. And it
seemed to click well with Shane Stik and the Achilles injury.
I mean, it's just not what they once were. I've

(09:00):
seen players come back from so much quicker, and I've
got plenty of confidence that Daniel Jones can run it
back this year.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
All right, Tom, I'm gonna let you have the first
crack at this one here. Let's talk about Malik Willis,
who gained a lot of traction this year with some
spots starts there for Jordan Love, obviously, another guy came
from a bit of a smaller school. People like the tools.
People thought maybe a couple of years in the NFL
sitting would be good. Unfortunately, he really didn't get too
many shots and good situation in Tennessee. But he has

(09:25):
been slowly starting to improve. We saw two years ago
and play a little bit when Jordan Love was hurting.
Last year, we saw some market improvements. So the market
is hot right now. When it comes to Malik Willis, So, Tom,
where's Malik willis Land for you? Potentially in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
I'm going to say, if we're sending Aaron Rodgers elsewhere
in my scenarios, Finn, let's send him to Pittsburgh. I
think that you can make an argument that having experienced
that cold weather games in Green Bay, that he'd be
suitable for that kind of football. I think that he
would appeal to Mike mccafee as somebody, Okay, he can
add a little bit with his legs, which is going
to be useful in that division. We know that, yes,

(10:02):
the defenses experience with Lamar Jackson in those kind of
dual threat quarterbacks, but also it's like, if you don't
have that element, then you need to be really good elsewhere.
And I'm not sure that I see a quarterback available
to the Steelers who could offer that. And as you mentioned, Joe, Yeah,
willis absolutely I mean, he torched my Ravens with the
deep ball this season, like he was front for like
fourteen yards per attempt in the games that he's had

(10:25):
sixty percent or more of the snaps. Over the last
couple of years, He's had forty more rushing yards in
six of them. Like, I just think that there's gonna
be a lot of possibilities for Elik Willis this year,
and some of them will be good and some of
them will be bad. But I think taking a two
year deal or so in Pittsburgh is probably as good
as it gets.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
I like him with McCarthy too. McCarthy knows how to
work on quarterbacks like we're not. Yeah, he's a good
offensive my solid guy. I think that's exactly the kind
of environment I would want from Alique Willis. Jake, where
would you want league Willison twenty six?

Speaker 3 (10:57):
I mean, I feel like I'm taking the lay up
here is the fact that not only do I want
them there, but it's the obvious connection with halfway coming
from Green Bay and putting in Miami and put that
connection right back together. You also have Bobby Slowik as
their offensive coordinator, which I think for people that look
at him as kind of that Shanahan offense, which the
good news here is a lot of prestat motion, a
lot of play action. If you look over the last

(11:18):
five years Malik Willis, if you look at touchdowns per attempt,
in first downs per attempt went in play action, He's
one of the top ten quarterbacks and just percentages of
those combined. So I think this is a good fit
for what the style of the offense likely will be.
And then of course the connection there. The big question
is going to be is Tyre Hill back with this
team and healthy? Is Jalen Waddell with this team? I mean,
I think they're going to obviously address the wide receiver position,

(11:40):
whether it's those two or other pieces. But we see
the excitement for the Dolphins with this changeover, and I
think Malik Willis is the easy tie to this team,
and I think it does make a lot of sense
as much as I do think like the fallback option
given what Tom played out there, that makes sense too.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
All Right, So a couple of landing spots here from
Malik Willis before we move on. Speaking of good landing
spots in Florida, hard Rock Bet only sportsbook legal in Florida,
and they are the sponsor of our show today. It's
obviously a great time to be betting on hard Rock
bet and we want everybody out there to go take
advantage of all of the upside that hard rock offers you.
New sign ups can double their winnings on their first

(12:15):
ten bets max of fifty. That's right. If you want

by being there. And of course they're legal in the
state of Florida, New Jersey and a few other ones
as well, adding more states every single day, So make
sure you download the hard Rock Bet and check and
see if it's legal by you. Plus, you're not gonna
want to miss obviously all of the bonuses and the
giveaways and fun things they do over at hard Rock Bets,

And if you haven't already, when you bet five bucks,

so that's a pretty good deal right there. So make
sure you download the hard rock Bet app today. Five

cash offer offered by the Seminal Tribe. With Florida and Florida,

(13:00):
some of the hard Rock Digital LLC in other states
must be twenty one plus in physically present in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan,
New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, or Virginia. Play terms of conditions apply.
Concerned about gambling in Florida, I call one eight three
three play wise. In Indiana, if you are someone you
know is a gambling problem, wants help, called one eight
hundred and nine with it. Gambling problem called one eight

(13:20):
hundred gambler in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia.
Let's move on to the wide receivers here, Alec Pierce,
big name guy Tom who could potentially make a big impact.
You and I see eye to eye. I don't want
to spoil things, but I kind of put this out
there as well in actually, no, I see I die
with Jake in this one. What am I saying? Oh well,

(13:40):
that's the worst. Oh No, I looked real quick and
I was like, oh yeah, Tom, and I agree. Now
it's Jake, and I hate when I agree with Jake.
It's the worst. But anyway, you've got an interesting landing spot, Tom.
Actually it's a lot of notable champions. So yeah, let's
talk about that, because that's not one that I had
on my bingo card. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
So I mean, and firstly, I'm gonna go with you
guys on the spot, which we'll get to in a minute,
but I also think if you want to get a
little bit more out there, let's go with the Seattle Seahawks.
Everybody's going to assume Rashidja he'd stay in there, but
he's a free agent as well. Now, the Seahawks have
an absolute boatload of cap space there, sixth in cap
space currently, which is just wild for a team coming

(14:20):
off for Super Bowl. Now, some teams might want to
sit back and just rest easy on what they've got,
But if you look at a guy like Alec Pierce,
it's so rare for someone of his talent to end
up on the free agency market. And if I want
Alec Pierce to land somewhere good for fantasy football, I
want somewhere where the downfield passing is going to be good.

(14:40):
Now is that going to happen on some of these
bad teams where they've got rookie quarterbacks or second year quarterbacks,
poor offensive lines. I don't know. But Sam Donald led
the league in completion rate on passes twenty plus yards
downfield last year. He had a fifty eight percent completion rate.
Nobody else was over fifty two percent. Now the Seahawks
is going to be looking to pay JSN and maybe

(15:03):
two big wide receiver contracts is too much for them.
That they have a huge amount of cap space. And
I just think that Mike McDonald is going to be
aggressive because he knows the teams in that division are
going to be trying their best to close the gap
on them very quickly.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
All right, So now that we tease the landing spot
that all three of us, like Jake, let's reveal what
it is potentially for Alec Pearson twenty six.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
To be fair, I like Tom's pick I thought about
I like it outside the box.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
And let me tell you, I think a lot of
people would go, oh man, that's a good, good job.
So yeah, I'll see. I feel like that would be
the general reaction. You know. I don't think it would
hurt JSN necessarily, Like JSN is still the alpha guy. I'm
with Tom on that, but it's it gives itim donald
a little bit more leverage they or you know, it
certainly makes some sense. Yeah, and he is important to
them down the stretch.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
The other team we talked about on the Fun Show
is one that he's been tied to, and I brought
up to Brian Dable going downfield with Alec Pierce with
the Titans. But I think more likely than the Titans.
You talk about a buttload of caps. We bought the Titans. Also,
by the way, we're talking about the Titans Raiders the
top two in cap space. The Titans are at one
hundred million. The Raiders could easily like make some adjustments
and get to one hundred million. This is a lot

(16:09):
of room for both these teams. And when you have
Mendoza coming in, yeah, he has brought powers. And then
question we're like, I mean, we're talking about Trey Tucker
is fun. He is not a one. He's not a two.
He should not be a two. Dante Thornton, I mean,
sure he was a Flyer's a deep threat that could
potentially develop. Didn't see a whole lot of his rookie season. Again,
click Kubiak no ties to anybody on this roster, by

(16:32):
the way, so you see if he makes this move
in free agency and says, you know what, I know
what that deep threat you brought up the comparison where
we had that Fun Show is like using them like
he used JSN with this Seahawks. Which the one thing
that Kubiak does, going back to Shiheed and going back
oh to the Saints, is he loves designing the offense
where one of his two wide receivers breaks free on

(16:53):
almost every single play downfield. Not necessarily free is an
open space, but like he wants one of his wide
receivers getting downfield in space. Oh got it. By the way,
who does that better than anybody else in the NFL
last year? Alc Pierce's top five in that list, if
not the top So you put Ali Pierce on the
Raiders with brock Bowers and then whatever else they do,
and Mendoza can do that part, which is kind of
somewhat similar to Sam Darnold what Tom was talking about,

(17:15):
and being able to throw it downfield to make those passes.
I think it's a very intriguing spot because not only
it would be brock Bowers and him, but we'd be
talking about now Alec Pierce with one hundred and twenty targets,
maybe even more, and we'd be super excited and fantasy.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Yeah, that's my spot too. So that's the spot where
I would be most excited for him and fantasy. Let's
talk about Mike Evans, old veteran, Mike Evans Hall of Famer,
probably to be Mike Evans, but Jake, he still got
a little left in the tank, we all hope. If so,
where is he parking that tank in twenty twenty six?

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Yeah, I won't go as long as you want to watch.
The fun Show went long on this one. But the
quick version, yeah, the quick version here. As I think
the forty nine Ers are getting overlooked as an intriguing
landing spot for Mike Evans some other I like the
team that you brought up on that show too, and
I like the team that Tom brought up. Basically, we're
looking at a to go to a contending team that
kind of has a void for what Mike Evans does.

(18:04):
And everybody's talking about the forty nine ers. They're Brandon
Ayuk's not coming back. Oh by the way, what does
Brandon Ayuk kind of doing what Mike Evans could do
in this Oh? Touchdown maker, big play maker, reliable option.
They have Ricky peerscill who I love in space and
over the middle of the field and getting free. But
he's not Mike Evans. Juwan Jennings was not really what
Mike Evans could bring to this team. And oh, by
the way, is the other part that I brought up

(18:26):
on that show is George Kittle playing in twenty twenty six?
We don't even know. You put Mike Evans on the
forty nine Ers. I think it would actually be better than
going back to the Buccaneers for us in fantasy.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
All right, so the forty nine Ers a landing spot
there for Mike Evans. How about you there, Tommy boy,
where do you have Mike Evans going this year?

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Well, three year old wide receiver? This would not be
the first veteran signing for the Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Ravens time again.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Yeah, whether it worked out or not, who knows. But
Lama has always been great with play action. That's where
you absolutely frive. So they didn't do enough of it
this year. I think with Declan Doyle OC coming in now,
I think that we saw with the Bears that they
were very much happy to use play action and then
go downfield. Mike Evans would be excellent for that. With
the Ravens. You go back to twenty twenty four, when

(19:15):
Evans was healthy, he ranked second with play action catch
rate of eighty six percent. That's what Lamar needs right now.
Rashad Bateman regressed this year. They didn't make the most
of DeAndre Hopkins, who's also a free agent. They don't
like going to Zay Flowers in the red zone. So
get Mike Evans in there. Get the big bodied guy
who's going to go up and make a catch, and
I think that could be really fun for fantasy.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah, certainly a veteran presence there too would be nice
that actually still has something left in the tank. I
think the problem is to keep bringing guys like DeAndre
Hopkins is not there anymore. But some might argue that
Mike Evans has done I don't know if I'm ready
to make that argument yet. I don't think I'm quite there.
Great career for Mike Evans too. I'll talk about Deebo,
Samuel Tom I'll take you first on this one here.

(19:57):
Debo obviously some up and down. Last year's dart off
strong and then faded, which was to Andrew Erickson's credit,
his prediction of what Deebo would do he was spot on.
So what will Deebo do in twenty twenty six and
where will he do it? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (20:10):
I'm going to take him to Carolina, and obviously we
know that he's not going to give us as much
in the way of yards after the catch these days.
But last year was a career low six point five
yards after the catch. Every other year he'd been above
eight previously. So perhaps that is just where he's at
in his career, or perhaps it was because he was
out of Shanahan's system. But I think that Dave Canalis

(20:31):
would actually be able to get much more out of
Deebo Samuel in that kind of middle of the field role.
They like Jalen Cocher in the slot, but where he
shines is when they push him downfield dirt vertically. Tete
Rower also great on the boundary downfield stretching things, but
if you added Deebo Samuel, he could eat underneath, be
a nice outlet. I think that's what they wanted in
Hunter Renfro, someone who can create space quickly and shift

(20:54):
around and open up the middle of the field, and
they obviously didn't get it from Hunter Renfro. So let's
try with Debo.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
All right, Where are we trying with Debo for you
this year? Jake?

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Yeah, So what do we know about Mike McCarthy now
taking over for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loves three wide.
How many wide receivers do the Steelers have that they
can trust right now? None? Because DK Metcalf has to
be resigned, So you assume because.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
They won, but you're right, yeah, that's fair.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Or do they know they extended it? I forgot that
that's already been taking that was taken care of. They
have nobody because not only do they have nobody, but
the Calvin Austin and Markuis Valves Scantling are free agents
and they're not coming, So who the hell cares at
this point? So you're looking at DK Metcalf and blank
and the blank could easily be filled in by Deebo
Samuel and what he's able to do not only against

(21:40):
zone but against man. And that's where I go back
to Mike McCarthy is that's the other thing he does
with his wide receivers. He moves them around like it's
not you're the X, you're the Y, you're the Z.
It's we're gonna move you around the whole time. Because
that's how Mike McCarthy likes to run his offense and
take people off balance. I know that limits DK a
little bit, but Deebo can do a lot more, whether
it's zone, whether it's man, whether it's out why, whether

(22:00):
it's in the slot. And I think Deebo actually, for
the McCarthy style offense, makes a ton of sense for
this team, especially because again they don't even have a
second wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Yeah, certainly they got add some more, especially if we
want my league wills to go there. Let's get the
man some help please, for the love of goodness, all right,
let's talk about some other guys too. I'll just throw
some names out to you. You give me a landing spot
here at the wide receiver position.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Juwan Jennings, give me a landing spot, Jake Buffalo, don't
if they don't get like the Mike Evans. I think
he makes a ton of sense for that team.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Tom, you guys bought for Juwan, Yeah, I mean, I'd
definitely like that one, or just going back to the
forty nine, as it seemed like they were willing to
bring him back. And I think it was definitely plenty
of volume Vessul for him.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
All right, uh, Tom Rashid shaheeds and she kicked him
out Seattle for alec peele him home.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Look, he's been with Kobiak for the last two years.
It makes sense to send him home to Vegas.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
There you go. So somehow one of those two guys
ended up in Vegas. We've got that Shaheed for you. Jake,
where would you put well?

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Because I put him in Uh no, Tyreek Hill is back.
Put him in Miami?

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Okay, yeah, all right, that's fun. Romeo Dobbs and he
takers Jake for him.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
As Saints they need him, they need a wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Okay, I like that one time. What do you think
of that?

Speaker 2 (23:14):
I'm gonna send him at Green Bay. We keep making
the Green Bay links to Miami. Why not put him
there and be the wide receiver? Two to waddle?

Speaker 1 (23:22):
All right? Wandel Robinson another guy too, a nice possession
wide receiver. Tom Where would you want to throw him at?

Speaker 2 (23:27):
This feels like Tennessee Titans. Absolutely Tennessee Titans. All okay,
just rely about in the middle of the field. Let
and go not bad Jake, how about you?

Speaker 3 (23:36):
We talked about that with Ericson is that it makes sense,
especially the table. But if they have faith in DK
and go a different route with that because they kind
of duplicate. You know what, if I'm the Commanders, I'm
gonna steal one from the Giants and give that second
one the better version of debo at this point, alongside
Terry McLaurin. Because that's the thing is everybody's like, oh
what about Terry McLaurin is a big downfield threat. They
need somebody to do more of that. Of what Wandall does.

(23:58):
I think the Commanders could take one other backfield of
the backside of the Giants and put them on this team.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Now, remember, our free agency is gonna affect your redraft leagues,

at you this year too. Get excited. It's a big

(24:44):
year for the content here Fantasy Pros Family. All right,
let's go to the running back position, ken Walker. I
already know possible landing spots that Jake was talking about,
but I want to hear Tom's landing spot for ken Walker.
Super Bowl MVP.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Ken Walker, by the way, let's send him to the
tech Now. They're not exactly flush with cash. They're two
million dollars over the cap currently, but they could save
eight million dollars by cutting Joe Mixon leaves only a
two million dollar dead cap hit behind. I think Joe
Mix and his toast. I like Woody Marx, but I
don't think he's the answer. I think Marx could be
similar with Walker in like a more limited version of

(25:18):
what Sharbonney was. I don't think we're gonna see Kenneth
Walker go anywhere and be a true free down running
back because his past protection just I mean, the Seahawks
had never believed in it. So even in the Super
Bowl we saw Georgia Lani coming in for those past
pro reps. So yeah, I think that if you put
him with the Texans, he could really help take some
of the pressure off CJ. Stroud. Yes, the offensive line

(25:40):
is a bit of a problem, but I think that's
the kind of thing that they need to really take
them over that next bump.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
All right, so Jake for ken Walker obviously now big stage,
got the Big Award, has he cash in on him? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (25:55):
I originally had a different team here, and I'm like, yeah,
you know, after we talked yesterday with Alvin kamaras situation
or whenever you're watching this video might be not yesterday
for you, but the same situation with Alvin Kamara is
he's kind of stuck with that team because of his
dead cap still not saving them. What eleven million they're
still stuck with. So I looked at one and I
was like, James Connor can be cut from ten million

(26:16):
to two if they dead cat. And then on top
of it, Trey Benson was supposed to be fine by
the end of well before the end of the year
and they're like, well, not now, we're not activating, and
like also, and Trey Benson just never came back. And
I still think that Trey Benson might be an interesting
buying Dynasty because of that uncertainty. And maybe if James Connor,
could you imagine Dynasty alone? Forget the fact we find

(26:36):
out Trey Benson's healthy and Connor's cut, people will go
nuts again like they were for Benson last year. But
what if there's something going on with Benson? And what
if the Cardinals with all of their money, and then
you have the Kubiak, which, by the way, the Kubiak
situation or not La Floor coming in with the floor
from before of a Josh Jacobs type. And I know
what Tom said about a three down, and that's certainly
in play of not letting him be a three down.

(26:57):
But what if the will Floor is like the other
Lafloor and treats them like Josh Jacobs, who can do
a lot in the passing game, And isn't it even
the strongest and that and with Arizona and all of
a sudden getting Bell Cow work with Arizona. I know
I keep saying I want to Keneth Walker. But everybody
wants Kenneth Walker to have bell Cow work. But what
if it finally happened with Arizona. I want to be shocked.
I think Arizona's gonna be the sneaky team in free
agency that nobody's expecting to see coming because they have

(27:19):
so much space and they're just kind of like they
have all these Kyler Murray problems and ignoring the fact
that they're still gonna make moves.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
All right, So Arizona interesting landing spot. There, We've got
Tom's landing spot for ken Walker. Let's talk about Breece
Hall Jake, give me a landing spot for him that
would blow people's minds potentially.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
So I love that Tom took the team that I
did on the long form for the fun one. I'm
so glad that he took that because that's you'll see
what like if you go watch that one after Tom talks.
We completely agree on this one. But I took the
lay up on this one. I'm talking. I'm taking the
one that everybody's saying is gonna happen. Despite the fact
that Kansas City does not have cap space either. They
have to manipulate things, but they also don't have running backs.

(27:58):
There's like like they don't have active unning back right now.
So you put priest Hole on the Chiefs and people
are gonna lose their damn minds because that's what anybody does,
is there's a running back that going to the Chiefs
or going to the Chiefs or by the way, somebody
gets hurt sits out because of COVID and all of
a sudden we're taking the first round draft picks on
the Kansas City running backs. Is we just want Kansas
City running back to be fun, something we can count on.

(28:19):
And if Priese Hall does somehow find his way to
the Chiefs, maybe he takes a team or team or
friendly team, friendlier deal. I like team or friendly team,
friendlier deal to.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Make rights for a living everybody.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
I can sit there and see that Ice was stupid,
and that's I can edit it. That's the difference.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
I can sit here and see it too. That's the
beauty of the show.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
All done, That was a good follow up joke. But yes,
Breeze Hall would be top ten locked. Actually, Breese Hall
would probably push the top five if he ended up
on the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
All right, so I know what was screwing about the
you know, the Chiefs cap and all this stuff. Look, man,
we see it happen every year. Teams have cap issues.
They work things around, they make trades, they make moves,
you know, and it's still it's a destination. I think
guys still want to play o'patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, especially
if they want to try to win a Super Bowl.
All Right, Tom Breece Hall interesting landing spot for him.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Yeah, Let's say the Chiefs aren't able to make it
work and let's send him to the Commanders instead, because
I think that is another opportunity where you really could
see a free down running back. I'm not a Croy
Crosskey merrit truth. I thought that he looked fine last year,
but I think that he would be fine to spell
Breece Hall instead Chris Rodriguez during the McNichols. Both three agents.

(29:34):
Neither of them are particularly great players. Now, the one
thing that the Commanders have talked about this week is
that they want to be able to take more downfield shots.
They want to be able to get the quarterback under
center more often. And what helps that it's a good
running game by bringing defenders down into the box. It
makes the back end light, so then you can take
those shots now. Breece Hall, when the jetsqvs were under

(29:54):
center last year, he had a seven point five percent
explosive run rate, ranked fifth in miss tackles force per
on those plays. I think it's a nice match. It's
not one I've heard people talking about. But yeah, if
we're moving away from the chief spend, I'm just looking
for a situation where he to play free but free downs,
all right.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
So there you have it, everybody. Bryce Hall could potentially
land in some big spots there for his fantasy value.
What about Travis Atn coming off a really good season.
I'm of the mind Tom that he should go right
back where he was because I think Liam Cohne and
him really kind of geled together. I thought it was
a good marriage for both parties. I don't think you
should go anywhere. I think Jacksonville'll be smart. It's not

(30:32):
a knock on Basehal Tuton. I just don't think Tuton's
ready to gotta take over as a lead back. And
in those Liam Cone offenses, we've seen guys like Etn
are crucial to everything working, and I think that's why
you saw such success for Trevor Lawrence. So let's take
that off the table, because that's probably an obvious one.
Let's do another landing spot potentially for Travis Etn.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Yeah, I mean I agree with you. A couple of
weeks back for Fantasy Pros are ranked for top twenty
three agents, and in that I mentioned that I thought
that Etn should go back the links with him and
Trevor Lawrence going all the way back to college. It
makes sense in some ways, but there's none of that
kind of chatter coming out of Jacksonville at the minute.
It seems like they will just move on, which is
a little bit strange considering this was the most consistent

(31:13):
campaign that we've seen from Ettyn. Like you look back
for his career and he's been a bit of a
half season warrior, but coming out of last year RB
ten points per game, in RB twelve in total points.
I want to send him to the New Orleans Saints.
I think that it'll be cheaper than the other running
backs that we've been talking about. The Saints run similar
kind of schemes to the Jags. They predominantly play more
zone concept runs than man gap runs, and Ettyn average

(31:37):
four point six yards carrying zone runs. He was a
reasonable pass catcher, a good runner. I'm assuming that Alvin
Kamara is probably done at this point, and I think
that in that scheme with Kellen Moore could be really fun.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
All Right, Jake Travis atn where do you want to
put him in twenty six? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (31:52):
If we're not talking about the Jaguars, then I think
another similar Dude. This is a team that Tom went
too earlier for. Kenneth Walker is a similar offense that
zone but with a mix of man in their run.
It's just very similar to what Travis ETN just came from.
And if you're worried about your offensive line not being
as capable as most, and I do think the Texans
will address their offensive line this offseason, but if you're

(32:13):
looking for a similar the offense should be similar for ETN.
And the answer being what we talked about on the
show with Ericson is the fact that who's a threat
to lose their potential value in free agency was Woody
Marks given the fact that he was productive but not
very efficient, actually one of the more inefficient running backs
in all of the NFL. As I think that ETN

(32:34):
going to the Texans when not only surprised somebody, but
like give them a value like what they lost with
Joe Mixon. I know they're a little bit of different
running backs, but I think that Etn can step in
there and be the lead, similar to what Tom's argument
was with Kenneth Walker.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
All right, so there you go. So but Jake, do
you agree Travis atn athletic spot for him and the
Jags is getting.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Back to the Jaggers? Yeah? Yeah, mostly because well let's
talk about the next one. Because this is why I
don't I'm a huge base shall Tutant guy either.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Okay, well yeah, I like Bescheltuton. I just don't think
he's ready for what Travis eighteen. No, they will do
twenty five. So Jake, that leads us to Rico Daubdle.
Where would Rico Dwell potentially land for you in twenty
twenty six? I can't imagine where you might put him.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
So if E ten is not back with the Jaguars,
they need somebody in my opinion, because I think Tuton.
Let me make this clear, I even said this in
my pre draft right up of Tuton. I think he's
a great running back as a timeshare piece. I don't
think Tooton is equipped or ever will be equipped or
capable of being a eighteen to twenty touch per week,
even it's fifteen plus touch. He needs to be part

(33:37):
of a time share which will get the best out
of him and his skill set. He is a very
explosive and very good running back. But I think Rico
Daddell wanting to go somewhere. This is very like several
levels here. Dwell was pissed off that again he wasn't
treated as the lead when he got his contract perform
well and replace the Chubbo Harbard then had to share
at the end of the season and even said I'm
done with this. I need to find a team that

(33:58):
will give.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
Me the lead.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
Well, you know you're above replacement, buddy, Like, let's understand that.
But where somebody that he could go to and be
the lead as the contract and an offense that will
do things for him to help his game and have
Tooton as a timeshare piece. I think Dowdell makes a
lot of sense for the Jaguars if they don't bring back.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Atn Dwell had some huge performances too, so I think
he showed again, hey, I can still do this, I
can still be.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
And that's the thing. He wants to go somewhere where
he's the lead option, which that's why I think Tom's
makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
Too well, and I think being a lead option, but
I think it's better for Eco dw to have somebody
else there to take some of that workload off of him,
because if you want to keep him healthy the whole year,
that's probably imperative. So Tom, where's your landing spot for Rico? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (34:42):
I mean I love Jake's landing spot of Jacksonville. But
in my universe, where the Chiefs are having to be
up against a cap and look for cheaper options, I'm
sending in to Kansas. The Chiefs the second lowest explosive
run rate last year. Everything that was explosive from the
Panthers came from Rico Dowdell. I think that you looked
at Huber Hubbard was woefully inefficient like that, but every

(35:02):
time Rico was out there, it felt like Rico was
able to give you a little bit more. And I
think that Dowdell is probably looking for somewhere it's going
to give him a multi year deal, And if the
Chiefs are try to deal with cap issues. It makes
sense that we might try and work something where they're
backloading money into and a couple of years down the line.
I look at what Dowdell can do, you know, with
thirty nine receptions in each of the last two seasons,

(35:25):
being explosive, being solid with yards after contact and stuff,
and I just think that Cuba sorry Rico would be
a fantastic fit there, all right.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
How about Gavante Williams, Tom a guy that had a
really solid year one of people a lot of leagues do,
I would say, because Javonte Willis are kind of floating
around there late and he was a belcal for the
Dallas Cowboys. Where will you potentially land in your mind
for twenty twenty six?

Speaker 2 (35:48):
I try not to send too many players back to
where they're coming from, but this one just makes too
much sense to go back to Dallas, Like this is
the first time that it's really all clicked for Giovanni
Williams post all the injury.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
He's like two years.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Removed from everything now. Somehow he's only twenty five years old,
coming off career highs in what rushing attempts, rushing yards,
touchdowns and breaking his longest rush ever. It just makes
too much sense. But he would feel the good vibes
that came out of Dallas and want to go back there.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
All right, Uh, Jake, is it just so simple as
sending him back to Dallas for you as well?

Speaker 3 (36:22):
I think it makes a ton of sense. I'm with
Tom Lockstep on this one. Dallas also, right, according to numbers,
really tough again, like minus thirty million plus. So, I mean,
we know all these teams are going to be that
foreign into the by the way they go back to
the Chiefs, they're almost minus sixty million. They're the worst,
So we know these teams are going to find ways
around it and to make moves and stuff like that.

(36:42):
But if you're looking for the fact that the Cowboys
can't really afford to spend him to running back even
if they want, it just makes a lot of sense
for them bring him back given the success. And I
think he probably feels good about the Cowboys too, because
they took the chance on him after almost three full
years of being subpar after that injury. So I think
it just makes a ton of s for Javonte to
go back to the Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
And financially it probably makes sense to like, you know,
I don't think Javonte is gonna get a huge bag
from some other team.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
Now.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
I think he'll get a fair offer from the Cowboys,
and the Cowboys I think respect what he did. I
think I think in another way, he's like good marriages
or you're go get back together here in this one.
All right, let's talk about a couple of other guys floating
around it running back Tyler Aljier, Naji Horros, JK. Dobbins
or Shaw White. I don't know. I think these guys
really interest you. Maybe Algier because it has a thousand yards.

(37:29):
So let's talk about Tyler Algier. Since I've obviously hit
on the one that's exciting Tyler Algier, Jake, where could
he potentially land that could all of a sudden kind
of give him a new life in fantasy?

Speaker 3 (37:38):
Well, we both brought up this team and different names
so far. Okay, what if the Chiefs go the cheap
route with Algier? You talk about a fit on that team? Like,
let's also remember how good Algier has been not only
behind Bijon, but the one year they needed Tyler Algier
to be the lead with this Falcons offense and at
that time. It's not like the Falcons offense was amazing.
And I think Algier no, not top of the league,

(38:01):
but you're telling me not Naje Harris, like you put
him on this list like a Naje Harris at his peak.
Tyler Algier is kind of there. Like Najee Harris. The
argument against him was always that he was a little
bit more volume reliant than super productive. But he was
pretty productive. That's a lot of what Tyler Algier does.
And you put him on the Chiefs because they need
to cost cut. Yeah, I think that would be super fun.

(38:22):
I'd consider I'm a top fifteen running back with the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
All right for you, Tom, how about Tyler Algier?

Speaker 2 (38:30):
So if we're looking kind of down the list of
where there could be movement, where there could be an
opportunity to really earn work, I think there's somewhere like
the Jets makes a lot of sense, Like their offensive
line was sneaky good last year. If they're moving on
from Breese Hall, Yes, we've got Brailan Allen, Yes, guys
here Davis like, there are options there. But if they
want to invest in somebody who they can build around
for the next few years. I think Tyler Algier would

(38:51):
be fantastic.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
That's gonna be funny. Whether Jets have sixty of their
eighty million still in Cap because nobody wants to go there. Well,
that's a hard part.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Well, but that is the whole thing, right. It's like,
you know, the Chiefs are underwater in the Cap, but
everybody still wants to go to the Chiefs if they can,
they we'll figure it out. I'll give you a bonus
and then you can pay me on next Tuesday for
you know, first down today, and all kinds of nonsense
just to make it work. The Jets are like, here's
eighty million dollars guaranteed, and they're like, I'm good, I'm good.
We're just gonna gonna go. Look, I heard the Buffalo

(39:22):
wild Wings is hiring, so I'll go check that out
and see how that's going on. What about Harris or
Dobbins or shod White, any of those guys haven't anything
left in the tank for you, Tom that you might
want to throw them somewhere.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
I'd like to see JK. Dobbins go back to Denver.
It seemed to work. I don't think that J. Harvey
is a complete back yet it feels like they need
someone there to compliment him, and JK. Dobbins seemed to
be a good match for the scheme last year.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
Yeah, I would agree with that, Jake, any of the
other remaining guys any interest.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
I think if any of the three ended up with
Washington or Houston, that would raise our eyebrow to we
brought this team. We brought those teams up twice already,
and the fact that like they're they're voids, and whether
or not they're avoid is a time share or they
need an injury for something to happen, but all those teams,
they would they would make us take notice if any
of those three sign with them.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
Dobbins and Washington I think would be intriguing as well,
because you could still see JCM having it.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
Well.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
They love getting running backs that get hurt, so yeah,
why not.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
They love it? Hint enough of it, they love it?
All right, let's talk about tight ends. There's two in
particular here, Kyle Pitts being one. Now I already said
on the other show too, I thought Kyle Pitts and
Washington actually would be a fun one. With Jayden Daniels,
I'd like to see that those two guys come together,
Jake for you, Kyle Pitts, what would be the ideal
landing spot in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
So, like Tom, I didn't want to keep going back
to teams, but this is even a teaser for the
next one. Both tight ends. I'm sending back to their
teams because I think they're a great fit. But there's
a difference on the second one. But I really like
what Tom did with Kyle Pitts because of what I
did with the second one, I couldn't. I think Kyle
Pitts back with the Falcons makes a ton of sense.
You're talking about Stefanski and Tommy Reese coming in. What
do they do? They love some tight end usage, they

(40:58):
love run games and tight ends. Not as quite as
as Arthur Smith, but the Falcons they have the blueprint
for what they just did last year. Stefan scan Reese
do coming in and saying, you know what, let's stop
making Kyle Pitts run routes because it can't run routes.
Let's treat them like a power forward in the NFL.
And look what that did. It got him open. It
got him open for touchdowns, It got him open for
those play there's chain movers, and I know a lot

(41:19):
of his production came in that one game, but it
was the best we've seen from Kyle Pitts essentially since
his rookie season. And you're gonna get to two basically
offensive minds who really like to use the title, and
maybe there's another level to him. Maybe we can get
back to that rookie season. So I think Atlanta makes
a ton of sense. If not, I actually do really
like Tom's one on this one. I like a lot
of Thomas picks.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
Well looks and Jerdy buried the lead Dallas Goddard back
to Philadelphia for you.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
To watch it, okay, because I do expect a J.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
Browns, let's just do it. Let's just let's just rip
the band aid off Dallas.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Well.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
No, I think DeVante Smith is a great Bylow in Dynasty,
by the way, amazing by Low. Worst season of us
by the way. Everybody's like, you know, Saquon Barkley had
a terrible year. This entire offense. Saquon Barkley terrible year.
Worst year for a J. Brown with the Eagles, worst
year for DeVante Smith since his rookie season, worst year
for Jalen Hurts since his first full season as a quarterback.
It was worse across the board, which is why I'm

(42:08):
buying everybody I possibly can on this team except for
one person. Dallas Goddard just had his career year. But
what did Dallas got her benefit from the fact that
aj Brown had a bad year and Devonte Smith had
a bad year. Assuming AJ Brown's not with this team
next year, and they'll probably address the number two positions
because they're not going to rely on Johan Dotson. I
wish that would have played out. But Dallas Goddard just

(42:29):
back with the Eagles in this same role where he
can be the two slash three and be a real
big red zone threat as he was. I think makes
a ton of sense unless you do what Tom did.
And that's why I said I really like his because
it's the same situation, just different style.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
All Right, let's all learn to like Tom's picks. Yes's
a boring saw of us, Kyle Pitts landing spot and
give me Dallas Goddard as well.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Yeah, so I'm sending Kyle Pitts to Philadelphia, Like we
know how he isn't afraid to take swings. We know
that they like a little bit of star power there. Look,
Dallas got It was fantastic this year, your career highs
and Tigers receptions, touchdowns, but he wasn't really much of
a game changer. It was just but they moved away
from the brotherly shove and instead we're just doing the
little pop passes to Dallas got It, which is why

(43:15):
you ended up with double digit touchdowns. So I think
that if he wanted someone who can give him a
bit more yards after the catch you can stretch field,
particularly if you end up losing aj Brown as well
and you need to really stretch the field more, then
Kyl Pitt would be fun there. And Dallas got It
I'm sending to Miami because I don't think the Darren
Waller was the answer. Yes, he was a great story

(43:35):
this year, but Miami they need targets. I think that
you're looking at Dallas got It as someone who can
be solid, reliable. You're pretty much guaranteed to get kind
of five hundred yards and five touchdowns per year out
of him, and I think that'll appeal to a new
head coach who just needs to get the ball moving
in Miami.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
I guarantee you at least one of these places that
you guys are predicted will be true.

Speaker 3 (43:57):
Just the answer.

Speaker 1 (44:00):
At least we get one.

Speaker 3 (44:01):
We should send Dallas Goddard to freaking Ohio State, go
play with Arthur Smith. Somehow we can make that happen.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
Well in my I mean, Arthur Smith continues.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
Hey, the kid from Montana just got his ninth year
of eligibility.

Speaker 1 (44:14):
I need to get I need to get his agent.
That's what I need. I needed Arthur Smith's agent. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's the key. We should all side with Arthur Smith's agent.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
Because that guy, the guy who represents Arthur Smith, represent
Matt Neggie too, is that?

Speaker 1 (44:28):
Like I can only assume Matt Neggy and also Nathaniel
Hackett all that have to be know what organization that.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
Is in my made up universe of Titan landing spots.
One of the reasons I sent cal Pits away from
Atlanta was because I'm just assument with David and Jok
who is renamed Kevin Stefenser.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
That's an interesting one.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
That's a fun one too. Like I like that. I
think with Fan in there too, that's that's probably he's gone.
They're probably moving on.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
So did you I like all of Tom's and hate
my own picks. There you go, self loathing, not.

Speaker 1 (44:57):
Breaking any news there with self loathing, and Jake seely
just saying I've known you long enough, gentlemen. Really good
work though, all jokes aside, some really good landing spots there.
