Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It's me Joey p joe p Zapia with
me today. Full of stuffing and good cheer, de Bro,
Derek Brown and the King of Bros and Pat fitz Morris.
We're here to break down the waiver wire for Week
fourteen in the NFL. We got some teams on a
bye this week. Two four of them to be specific.
The Carolina Panthers, the Patriots, the Giants, and the San

(00:22):
Francisco forty nine ers won't be in Week fourteen. I'm
on Ross Saint Brown probably won't be either. We're gonna
talk about what that all means or waiver wire pickup
of the week. But first I gotta get something off
my chest because I am not a Lions fan. I
am not a Lions fan, but Dan Campbell almost ruined
my Thanksgiving. Situational football is something I teach the twelve
year olds that I coach, the fourteen year olds that

(00:43):
I've coached, and even the ten year olds that I've
coached in years past. You're down by two scores with
five minutes left in the game, you kick the field
goal because you still need seven. Anyway, you don't go
for fourth down because what if you miss it and
then all of a sudden the air goes out of this,
the air goes out of the players, The defense has
to play differently. De bro I don't think that the

(01:05):
Lions can ever get to a super Bowl, much less
win one with the way. Dan Campbell has situational football issues,
and he has got a ton of them. And this
is not new. You've seen it in the playoffs of
the past in San Francisco, You've seen another playoff games.
I get being aggressive, but there's a certain point there's
aggressive and they're stupid. And I almost let it ruin
by Thanksgiving meal. I was so wound up about it.

(01:27):
What are your thoughts on that.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
I think it comes down to a simple mantra, man,
you live by the sword, you die by the sword.
If they're gonna be aggressive, they're always going to be aggressive.
And you're not wrong about the situational football. The thing
that I'll point to the other side, and I'm very
curious about Pat's take. You could say the same thing
about Matt Lafleur playing aggressively going for fourth downs, but
it worked out for the Packers. So we're not going
to talk about that when we're talking about Dan Campbell.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I think it's just it comes. You're on the road
kind half of the game is, That's all it is.
But you're also putting you're also in this spot where
you're like, well, if there's time left, you're pinning the defense.
They've got that tie in their scheduled in their win
loss column two, which which means like, hey, we're on
the road, we're going for broke. We're not supposed to
win this individual game on the road. Let's let it

(02:09):
all hang out. It's totally opposite. And I know for
Pat he was loving this, like this must have been
like you know, you talk about you break the wishbone
and you get the other half. This is had to
be what you wished for Pat on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Yeah, I agree. I mean, I do think that Campbell
is aggressive to a fault, right, And you know, and
I didn't honestly, I was. I was complaining about Lafleur's
decision making on the go for it throw on third
down and not stop the clock, not keep the clock going,
and then the fourth down throw which did work out.

(02:42):
I mean, don Tavian Wicks made a great catch with
a defender draped all over him. But boy, that was
like a tight rope back to get that fourth down,
And had you run it, you could still conceivably run
two plays. I'm not hating it. If the Packers had
gone for it and fourth and one and tried to
run the ball and they got stopped short, okay, that's fine.

(03:04):
And if they had run and ponted like they would
have given the Lions the ball probably at around the
ten yard line with about a minute seventeen left to
go and no timeouts, make them, make them drive.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
And you saw it all day Sunday too, right, Pat,
I mean Harold Fannon taking snaps on fourth down? What
the hell are we doing out here, folks? What the
hell are we doing? All right? I'm sorry, I had
to vent somewhere to somebody. So you guys, are it
say space? Well, it just but it's situation fun and
what happened the air? But there were so many times
when they hit those fourth down like that Don Davian Wicks,

(03:37):
that that second touchdown right where you just you could
feel the air go out of the building. Yeah, and
in a building where there's very few home advantages really
left in the NFL. That's one that there is. Right
when the air goes out of that building, man, that
is tough to pump that air back. And then they did.
They had Alma Rock get hurt. Jamo makes big plays.
Jamia makes big play. They pumped the air back in.
You're doing well. Kick the field goal, take the points
it got five minutes left. It changes the whole dynamic

(03:58):
how the defense has to play because now the defense
isn't playing down by seven, they're playing down by ten.
And the style in which you're gonna play is not
conducive with that much Timelet again, I'm gonna get work
myself up again, and it's not worth it. Instead, what's
worth it is giving away free stuff. And of course
we're gonna give away the perpetual Fantasy Football Trophy from
Trophy Smack. It goes to Jay. I hope this is right,

(04:20):

win the Championship Ring from Trophy Smack. This week in football,

(05:03):
let's get to the waiver Wire ad of the week
and it's at an Mitchell believe it or not, of
the New York Jets. That's right, rostered in just seven
percent of leagues on the sleeper. He had gotten a
lot of targets Pat in the last couple of weeks,
catching them. Catching them was the problem. We know what
he is. He's kind of a big splash kind of guy.
He's got some talent and now Torod Taylor obviously is

(05:25):
making use of John Metchie. We talked about it last
week's show at length and also Mitchell going forward. What's
Mitchell's rest of season look like here in this Jets
offense as the quote unquote big playmaker of the Jets.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Well, one thing, I like Joe, the Jets have actually
turned into a nice, tidy little operation for fantasy. Like
Bryce Holli is the clear lead back at NI Mitchell,
John Matcheen, Mason Taylor really the only significant target earners,
and Tyrod Taylor is making it all work in a
way that Justin Fields wasn't able to. Now, I know
some people aren't going to buy thet NI Mitchell hype.

(06:01):
In his two previous games before the Week thirteen breakout,
eighty Mitchell thirteen targets, caught three of them, although one
of those games was a justin Field start. But now
we're talking about twenty four targets over his last three games,
and the targets are now coming from a functional passer,
and we are talking about a guy who's six to two,
has sub four to four speed, is a freak athletes

(06:24):
that play where Ady Mitchell fumbled at the goal line
when he was still with the Colts and probably cost
them a win against the Rams. People should go back
and rewatch that play and pay particular attention everything that
happened before the fumble, Like Mitchell rips a fifty to
fifty ball away from Emmanuel Forbes, then he outraces Forbes
and Cam curl and Emmanuel Forbes ran a four to

(06:44):
three five at the combine. Like that is what's intriguing.
Mitchell's a special athlete and there's a reason he was
a second round pick even though he never had a
thousand yard season in college. So if the light has
switched on for him, look out and Mitchell scheduled on
the stretch. Dolphins Saints Jaguars. Dolphins Jaguars, Saints. The matchup

(07:05):
against Miami this week maybe not a great one. The
Dolphins have been pretty stingy against wide receivers. But Jacksonville
and New Orleans in the first two weeks of the
fantasy playoffs, that's pretty attractive.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yeah, talk to me about Mitchell Dero. What are your
thoughts on him rest of season? It seems like right
now with that Sauce Gardner injury and the just getting
the two first round picks and Mitchell that the Jets
are winning that trade as of December first.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
As of right now. I mean I said it when
the trade went down. I'm not giving away two first
round picks for any freaking corner, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Was Austin Bartle's.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
But you know, with Adi Mitchell, we talked about him
on last week's show Boys, we talked about it, We
talked about him amechi as being pickups and flex plays
moving forward. And the thing for Mitchell is you knew
the regression game was coming because the volume had been there.
In weeks eleven through twelve. He had a twenty three
percent target share and I'm like, to Pat's point, he.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Didn't do anything with it.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
But again, if you keep getting that type of volume,
you're going to strike Peydart and that's what happened with
Adie Mitchell. And to Pat's point, yeah, dude, Like the
matchups against the same and Jaguars are fantastic. So volume play,
wide receiver, three, flex play, like all these things are
in play for Ady Mitchell in the weeks to come
and pretty much for the rest of the season. Like
the only week that I don't want to play him
or like he's kind of off the flex radar is

(08:15):
Championship Week against the New England Patriots, which he's probably
gonna draw right shadow coverage from from Christian Gonzalez. Outside
of that wide receiver three flex play. Rest of season,
he's getting a ton of volume, all right. When it
comes to the running backs, is really not a lot
of new names quote unquote.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
We're gonna talk about. So instead, I want you to
grade these guys right in terms of, like you want
give him five star bench guy, three stars? Like, how
do you rate them? Let's start with Chris Rodriguez of
the Washington Commanders. What would you grade him in terms of, Like, again,
all these guys roster are under for fifty percent in
league steel, floating out there in more leagues than maybe
they should be. Chris Rodriguez debro which are great on

(08:51):
him in terms of star rating two and a half.
That's kind of where I'm at.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Like that that's kind of the bucket where a lot
of these guys will fall, and that's that RB three
slash fl X bucket where it's like he's gonna live
in the twelve to fifteen or sixteen touch range and
the bet you're making that week. Is it a good matchup?
And does he score a touchdown? If he scores a touchdown,
he's probably an RB two for the week. So and
the matchups upcoming, I mean they can lend itself to

(09:15):
a lot of RB two weeks.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Joe all right, one through five, it's give me the
star rating for Chris Rodriguez.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Three in standard two and a half PPR, one in
full pp Oh, good.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Look at you. He was waiting though, he was just
waiting in the wings with that one, just like ready
to go.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Just very nice. I just know you. You look at
Chris Rodriguez as a complete zero in the passing game.
He's had one reception in ten games, so he is
far less appealing in full point PPR leagues than standard
or half PPR. Like he has to get a touchdown
maybe two to get over in full PPR. But at
least he has some like clearly surpassed Jacry krossky Merritt

(09:54):
as the key lead early down back for the Commanders,
and he's got three touchdown runs in his last four games.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
How did you feel about the correct pronunciation of mary
Otah last night?

Speaker 3 (10:07):
By the way, Wow, that strikes between that and the
Rodney Harrison Glitch. Oh man, but it's.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Not Mary Otah.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
That was a fantastic tweet.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Oh well done, well done, bam Knight, Fitzy, give me
the star rating for him on People's radars.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Waiver wire boy, this isn't another conditional one. I'm gonna
say two and a half. Here's the thing, Joe Trey
Benson could be back this week or in week fifteen,
in which case bam Knight would have little value. But
Benson did have Arthur scopping knee surgery and we still
haven't gotten any real indication that his return is imminent.
So if Benson isn't activated by I believe December tenth,

(10:51):
he goes to season ending IR and look, the Cardinals
play the Rams and the Texans their next two games,
tough matchups for running backs, but Week sixteen and seventeen
and they get the Falcons and Bengals. If Benson ends
up on season ending IR, bam Knight in Week seventeen
against the Bengals like potentially attractive running back to or
flex option for Championship Week, and I take.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
I think he's worth more than people realize right now.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Three, I agree to Fitzi's points. I mean same area code,
two and a half stars. And the thing about Benson
too limited participant last week on Wednesday. He was a
d n P on Thursday and Friday with a knee issue.
I think the season ending I R is a definite
possibility to fit.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
I agree, Yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Agree, Can I can I add one thing though, It
just worth noting Bam Knight actually played three fewer snaps
than Michael Carter, but Knight does get a much higher
percentage of touches on his He touches the ball on
a much higher percentage of his snaps than Michael Carter does.
Like when Bam Knight is in there, he's often taking
hand off.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
They're great, They're They're basically that tandem is game skip
script independence. It's like when they trail, it's a lot
of card. When they're ahead or it's neutral, it's a
lot of night.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
It's a lot of Bam.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yeah, all right. Let's talk about Blake korum u season
high eighty one rushing yards for him on seven carries
in a touchdown. What's his star rating, Debro.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
It's like a one and a half only because Kyron
so I'm only saying that because the kyron so Kyne
got banged up in that game, left with an ankle injury,
but returned. So I think returning in the game, I
think he's gonna be fine moving forward. And I think
he's a handcuff Like he's kind of in that Tyler
Algier kind of mode. It's like if the Rams are
playing catch up or if they're ahead, that he could

(12:36):
solved the clock away and he's basically a touchdown in
dependent flex.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
See. I like Korum maybe more than Debro does Pat
because I feel like Korum is a guy that steps
into one of the best offenses in the league potentially
if Karen has another issue with an ankle or another issue.
To me, he's that like you know some of these
other guy you know, Chris Rodriguez, it's that offense, Like
this is the Rams offense, you know, Like this is
a little bit different. I know it's a rough go
for them. Just can't turn the ball over as much
as he can't win any football game no matter how

(13:01):
good or bad the opponent is. What are your thoughts
on Korum? Which is star rating in terms of worth?

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Yeah, three and a half because if Kyrien goes down.
We are ranking him as a top ten running back
in that week, and he's a guy you would be
excited to play in the fantasy.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
So I just want to I just want to clarify.
The only reason but the star is low is because
that's kind of the bucket where the handcuffs live for me,
like if everywhere were to go out like or viewing
him at the top.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
But he's a five star handcuff. He's the top shelf
from here. Yeah, definitely five star if you have Kyraen,
he's a five star handcoff. Folks, if you haven't already
like what he's only sixteen percent roster? What what are
we doing like past stuff in the cuff and season? Man,
we're just in the cuff and season. I know that. Yeah, well,
you know fifty's holiday schedule is different than other people.

(13:44):
Tyler Aljeer, let's talk about him for a second. Another
guy that you know we've talked about many times on
the show. So I don't want to say too long.
Give me the star rating for Tyler Aljeer here as
we head towards you know, I know some people started
their playoffs who are not very bright. You don't start
your playoffs when there's a bye week. Stop doing this.
You're insane. It's not good fantasy football. But for all
the normal people out there who have another week of

(14:05):
regular season to play, Fitzy, what about Tyler Algier?

Speaker 3 (14:08):
How about three and a quarter stars Joe? Because I
think he's just a notch behind Blake Korum and the
handcuff hierarchy. Okay, just it's not quite as good an offense.
The Rams have one of the best offenses in the league.
The Falcons offenses meh, but you know, and I'll jar
unlike Korum does offer maybe a little bit of standalone value.
Like he scored his eighth touchdown yesterday. He has eight touchdowns.

(14:32):
He's probably gonna hit double digit touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
That's crazy. Yeah, I didn't realize he had eight touchdowns? Uh,
de bro. What are your thoughts on Algier? What's the star?

Speaker 2 (14:42):
The exact same thoughts as Fitzy, Like, I mean, I
just look at him in the same exact area code
as Blake Koram and the same points fitz He made
like lesser offense, but plug him play. The exact same
thoughts you would have for Blake korm and for everybody
that has Brian b Jehan Robinson in fantasy. I'm sorry,
tell year is still a thing.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Yeah, it sucks, it's still a thing. So he's got
as many rushing touchdowns as James Cook, as Jalen Hurts,
as Christian McCaffrey, as Javonte Williams. He's putting that out.
He's got more than Kyrien Williams, more rushing touchdowns in
Davon Han, more rushing touchdowns in Travis Atn, and more
rushing touchdowns and Dejon Robinson, who has five. Now I've

(15:24):
thoroughly depressed anyone. Let's talk. Let's talk about Bachelle Tuton
on maybe a better note. Uh, Pat, why don't you
take this one first? Your thoughts on Bachelle Tuton? What's
his star rating?

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Yeah, I mean he's I think he also falls into
that handcuff class show. Maybe maybe a three. Just the
three is because I think if anything happened to Etn,
that Lequent Allen might wind up as the passing down
back for the Jaguars.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
All right, Uh, Debro, I know you're a big Tuton guy,
but at this point in juncture in the season, what
are your thoughts?

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Yeah, same, he's a three star back. The only thing
all I add on top of it's he's analysis here
is that I'm not in love with the schedule for him.
He gets two destinations with the Colts the Jets, is
a good matchup with then the Broncos. So if anything
were to happen to etn lesser offense like Trevor Lawrence
isn't playing amazing football. We know that, but I mean, really,
it'd just be a volume bet and he would have

(16:21):
to deal with lquin Allen on passing downs.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
All right, real quick, let's talk about some guys that
drop Isaiah Pacheco? Pat, is it time to drop him?
Three for sixteen against the Dallas Cowboys? I mean, oh god,
talking about another one. D Look, it was by far
the most entertaining holiday weekend of football I think that
we've had in a long time. Though that the Thanksgiving
Day games were all really entertaining in their own right.

(16:43):
I thought that the Black Friday game was very entertaining, unless,
of course, you're an Eagles fan. But Pat, what were
your thoughts here when you're looking at Isaiah Pacheco? Now?
Is he a guy you just jettis into the waiver
wire for some of these high end handcuffs.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
I think you probably can because I don't know if
he passes Kareem high and he Pacheco came back from
his knee injury in Week thirteen, but he was a
strict back up to Kareem Haunts, who played forty two
snaps to Pacheco's twenty. And we just we have not
gotten the same Pacheco we got in the first two seasons.
We're still waiting for that to come back.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
And it's killed. The lack of run game consistency's killing
the Chiefs, it's killing all the things they want to Wait.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
You almost wish they would have taken Jonathan Taylor instead
of Clyde Edwards, Hilaire and.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
The crazy Oh gouch.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
They're probably gonna make up for when they when they
signed Breeze Hall in the off season.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Then that was the same draft fits he w Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Taylor went early. Second.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Yeah, oh god, I believe the.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Final pick of the first round wild wow.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
All right, Tajay Spears, Emmanuel Wilson, Rashaud White, Shawn Tucker. Obviously,
with Bucky back, Tucker and White could be drops, but
you know, I kind of want to hang on to
Emmanuel Wilson de bro I gotta be honest with you, like, yep,
that's another guy too, Like I saw what he did
in the offense and it was good enough to get
me excited about it and even had a couple carries
there against the lines where he looked good on Thanksgiving too.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Yeah, I mean, I think you're exactly right like all
those other guys. Drop drop, drop, drop drop. I'll keep
it Emmanuel Wilson, and then talk about rest of the
season schedule. Two meetings with the Bears. You could run
on the Bears and the Ravens. So if anything were
going to happen to Jacobs, yeah, I definitely.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Would want Emmanue Wilson. He's in that handcuffed here all right.
Before we get to the wide receivers, quick shout out
to a sponsor of today's show, and that's hard Rock Bet.
Download the hard Rock Bet sportsbook app and right now
it is the only one you can get in the
state of Florida. Bet you didn't know that, and more
states are coming online all the time. And this holiday

Next up here, let's talk wide receivers. Jayden Higgins was
our guy of the week last week. We still feel
good about Jayden Higgins stebro.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Yes, yes, yes, absolutely doing't it. He's settled into this
role where he's running like sixty to the high sixty
percent of route share. The target share wasn't amazing last week,
but still he was wide receiver thirty one and a
half points scoring. Since week eleven, he's had two top
twenty four finishes and wide receiver thirty one last week.
He's in that wide receiver three slash flex conversation like

(20:15):
I'll Fitzy, I'm curious where you're out on this man
if ad Ni Mitchell and Jane Higgins are both in
the wire.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
For me, it's Higgins.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Where you at?

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Are you Mitchell or Higgins? Or were you at? Okay?

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Yeah, I think I'm I just I believe in Higgins
a little bit more as far as I'm the talent,
and I think he's got a more complete game and
it's just sort of more a classic receiver. And we've
seen some you know, drops and gaffes in Mitchell's game,
where Higgins has been pretty airtight, and I just but
then again, Mitchell's playing, He's gonna play eighty plus percent

(20:48):
of the offensive snaps and Higgins deeper. I mean it's
not even high sixty percent. It's it's right at sixty
percent yeap, basically with Nick Kyley, and it's frustrating. Man,
I next want to see this guy. Yeah, we we've
we know how you feel about him. Not a fan.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Yeah, A lot of a lot of ocs were taking
a lot of heat this week, that's for sure. Let's
talk about Luther Burden, uh ten percent rostered Heres any
thoughts on Luther Burden?

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Yeah, just another guy kind of limited by his snap shares.
I mean he's been up over fifty percent in his
last two games. But just barely fifty point eight and
fifty point six percent. In the next three weeks he
gets the Packers, the Browns and the Packers. Again, those
are not the friendliest matchup. So I think I kind
of think we're out of time on the Luther Burden
Project for twenty twenty five, but I want to get

(21:36):
in early ticket for twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Nice progressive rock band from the early eighties there, the
Luther Burden Project. Everybody.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
I think they toured with Rush back in the day.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
I'm pretty sure they opened for Rush somewhere. Yeah, in Saskatchewan.
I believe Devon Vley of the uh Davon Vailey of
the New Orleans Saints had himself a good day against
the Miami Dolphins eight for eight for ninety three and
a touchdown. Debro Let's talk about Devon Veley for a second.
What did you see out of him that might be
something possibly sustainable the rest of the season.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Man, I want to say yes, but this also feels
like an Elk aom Manner type of situation where it's
just bad offense, got volume outlier game, but look, toss
a buck or two at him. On fab I'm not
going anything over that. The matchups upcoming are pretty good,
Like he gets the Bucks, the Panthers, and the Jets.
I'm not worried about any of those secondaries. So if
he lives in this twenty percent target show realm where

(22:29):
he was last week got a twenty one percent target chair,
then can he be flex bible?

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (22:35):
If he were to fall off the map and everything
goes to a lave and Joan Johnson and Tyler Shuck
is terrible, am I gonna tell you that.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
I'm surprised. No. I felt bad for Tyler Shuck because
that ball in the end zon he threw to Chris
Alvin and somehow went through his hands. I know it
wasn't the easiest catch in the world, but I mean
it literally went through his hands, Like you couldn't put
that ball in a better spot. It was a good
job by Tyler Shuck in a big moment at the
end of that game. And that just that just sucks
for the kid, just saying it sucks. It sucks. Little

(23:03):
help boys, little help here and there. Fifty Do you
have anything to add about Valley.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
I mean, he's at least a full time player and
he's starting to see targets seven in week twelve, eight
in week thirteen, and the Saints aren't really a team
that can lean on the running game, And as Debro said,
the schedule the rest of the way looks pretty good.
So I think you'd have to be in a pretty
deep league to want to pull him though and put
him in your starting lineup, you know, something where you're

(23:30):
you know, twelve or fourteen team league with three wide
receiver spots and a couple of flexes, then maybe Vlee
is a guy you could start.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
All right, I think we all probably agree that John
Mechi is still a guy worth adding. Correct. I know
it was a quiet day for him, was a big
day for eighty Mitchell, but I still feel like Mechi
is still a possession wide receiver that is worth some
value in full pprs of on Still on board with Mechi? Yeah,
still on board, man, He's still on board.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Still a really narrow target tree with the Jets, right,
basically Mechi, Mitchell and you know Mason Taylor. So like,
even if you're desperate for help, I know he only
had what four for nineteen Yeah, it was a quiet day,
but yeah, but he also had eight targets. Yeah, right, right, Yeah,
he got.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
A twenty four percent target chair, so you know, I
mean the box score chasers will miss him. A guy
like to your point, Joe, I think we probably can
met you still out there.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
You could sneak and sneak him.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Through for like a buck or two.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Yeah, I would agree with that, especially off the quiet week.
All right, Jalen Coker speaking of sneaking guys through. Now,
maybe this is another one off situation. I don't know,
but he did have four catches on six targets seventy
four for a touchdown. Fitzy, I mean, I still think
Coker is a guy that you could sneak through here
for a buck if you if you're having some you know,
injury issues, or you need some depth at wide receiver here,
or you're just saying, hey, well maybe Cocher rest of

(24:44):
seasons better than I don't Malik Washington was on my
bench or somebody like that, just throwing out a random
name out there. What are your thoughts on Coker?

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Fitzy, Yeah, I mean there there is a potential two
week window here, Joe, because Cocher's got the week fourteen
by and you're not playing him against Seattle in Week seventeen,
but in between in week fifteen and sixteen, the Saints
and Buccaneers pretty good matchups there, so possible. Yeah, you
could kind of stash him, see how things develop, and

(25:11):
maybe in a deeper league he's worth trotting out there
in weeks fifteen and sixteen.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
All Right. One of the big supporters of Jalen Coker
has been Derek Brown over the years. So is Coker
a guy to kind of slide through the waiver wire
this week?

Speaker 2 (25:23):
I guess maybe I'm the wet blanket here. I just
get you can get him through the fifter all these years.
I'm not against him, Okay. My problem is not with
Jaalen Coker. My problem is with Bryce Young, okay. And
I feel like we're getting shmir decayed here where it's
like the good game and then you pick him up
and then it's like, oh, well, here's some duds and
it all comes back to the quarterback play. Like, dude,

(25:45):
I don't know what the freaking do with Bryce Young.
Like the games where it's like, oh, he should go off,
he falters. The games where you're.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Like, oh, well he turned back into a pumpkin. Oh
look at that.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
There's three touchdowns, Like, I don't know what to do
with this freaking offense.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
Man. You know in some states is illegal to get
Jimriy decad just saying we're still very we're still very
behind society. I feel like in a lot of ways, Uh, Fitzy, No, no,
no reaction from that comment whatsoever. Fitzy, he was clearly
ignoring me, and he was clearly reading or looking at
something else. I thought that was a pretty good Fitzy. Nothing. No,

(26:20):
don't patronize me. Stop. All right, Let's let's get to
a guy that I think is very much in play.
He's basically free, he's availed, won every league pretty much,
Isaac Tesla. I'm on Rossaint Brown as a low ankle sprain.
That's a one to two week injury. Probably right, they
have a Thursday night game. It would take a miracle

(26:40):
for a Monro to play. Now, Khalif Raymond could also
be a guy that kind of throws a wrench into things. Again,
it's only Monday morning as of recording this, but uh, FITZI,
let's talk a little bit about Tesla because it's one
thing we've seen that the guy has as a knack
for making big plays he's got an ear for the
end zone two right, or knows for the en zone
whether he's got he's got. He's got a whole face
for the end zone, right, like I got a face

(27:02):
for radio, but I'm on YouTube and television all the time.
Regardless that guy finds the end zone. So, FITZI talked
to me about Teslaw and what he could do in
this one week against Dallas in a game that should
have a pretty.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
High total, a pretty favorable matchup. I would say, pay
close attention. The only thing is waivers in most leagues
are going to run before we get more information. In
amen Ra, I might be a little more bullish on
Amana's chances of playing before you do. It seems like
in most cases in the NFL, guys who get low
ankle sprains, they're back the next week.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
But are they back on a Thursday night? That's the
It's a if it were Sunday, I would agree with you, but.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
At Earth he also hurt himself on a Thursday.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
Fair counterpoint. So I hate when you're so much smarter
than me, and it's every single week on this show, Pat,
every single leek.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Yeah, it's just so I don't know. It is strange though,
that he didn't come back generally like low ankle. I
mean that I'd be on crutches for a month, But
NFL players seem to generally play the next week off
below ankle sprain, which is amazing. So I wouldn't totally
rule out Saint Brown. That's why I just even though
it is an appealing matchup if amen Ra's out, I

(28:09):
don't want to like empty the clip for a guy
who might just be worth nothing.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
If I've played in a few flag football games with
both of you, including Derek Brown and Debro You're a
guy who wears the ankle weights, so this should be
a question for you. I feel like, yeah, yeah, I'm
not gonna play this week.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
I'm the guy that looks like Jason Witten out there
at the end of his career running that I'm running
in mud with my my double ankle braces and my
joints betraying me and myace.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
It's a scene, man.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
It's tough, man. That's why I play all the time quarterback.
But I got to fight you for the battle.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Well that's why we never played on the same team.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Yeah, well that's that's fair. But I do have an ear.
I got a throwing motion, let's I do. I do
have an ear for the income. So but dude, I'm
a little bit higher on Tesla. Like to me, it's
not the Omanov part. It's the fact that I don't
think Khalif Raymond plays. He didn't even practice last week.
He's dealing with an ankle injury. So either way you license,
Teslaw is going to be in three wide receiver sets

(29:03):
and the matchup is fantastic. So for a guy that
like and again like, you have to be in a
pretty deep league or be dealing with a ton of
buy issues this week to sneak him into your lineup.
But some people could be in this this type of situation.
The matchup is good, and Teslas performed whenever he's been
on the field.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Man, all right, quick chat about some guys that drop Jerry,
Judy drop gone. You still have him Fitcy Trey Tucker drop.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
By the way, incredible, Bower's catching that game incredible, The
Puka catch incredible and then Burks on Sunday night, Bro,
that wasib Like, I don't remember seeing three catches that good.
That would have been catching the year catches in one.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Day Al also had had a fantastic cach.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
Yeah, the Piers was pretty good too. What was the best?
What was the most impressive of them too? I think
it's the Burkes one because I think it's really hard
to see where the ball is coming from because he
had the defender and front of him and he has
to get in the you know, he's in the corner
of the end zone. To me, I think that was
the most impressive one.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
I think situationally, you're probably right.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
I mean, the Bowers one was just like sheer will
and the Puka one was like a skill thing, but
the Birks one was just like I felt like everything
coming into one spot at the same time, like all
those things converging Bowers.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
Bowers had the ground to deal with on that That's
what made his so impressive, Like it was how did
how that ball didn't hit the ground?

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Did you think he caught it? At first? I was
like I was like, how did he catch that? The
way until I saw the replay and I went, oh
my god, Like that was like, oh my god. All right,
let's talk about some streamers we want to go for
a week.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
Can I run one last thing by you?

Speaker 1 (30:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (30:47):
Really interesting question just because I saw someone bring this
up in Twitter. It was so Matt Harrison, a guy
who hosts a fantasy show on the radio up in Minneapolis.
He suggested Justin Jefferson as a sabotage, drop drop him,
let one of your opponents pick him up and and
run him out there and get a few points.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Like I think there's four D chest pat and then
I think there is uh oh yeah, four D connect
five and I think that's that's connect first.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
So I mean, if if you're a fatalist, I understand
the mentality for Vikings fans as it is what it
is after what they've been through.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
But but you got back next week and like, I mean.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
But but right, like that hasn't been good either. Their
TV play has been atrocious. But man, if you dropped
him and allowed an enemy to pick him up and
potentially use him against you in the playoffs, it's interesting,
Like would you really be that confident that a future
gold jacket wearer couldn't hurt you in a playoff game?

Speaker 1 (31:49):
I would wear gold jackets.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
I think that is, I can't the sort of move
that could haunt you for like the rest of your
you would never hear the end of it from your
league mates. Yeah, I did that, and Justin Jefferson beat
you in a plan.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
He's a questionable start the rest of the year. I
think that's a fair conversation.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Well then you but the Commanders, the Cowboys, the Giants,
and then now.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
I right, that's what I mean. The schedule is good
enough that like McCarthy, look, man, it's it's it's not
going to be great. We just have to understand that
it's at this point and accept those problems. But I mean,
I'll tell you what, I don't think J. J. McCarthy
is the starting quarterback of the Vikings next year. And
I wouldn't be shocked if they threw a ton of
money at Daniel Jones. Like I heard that rumor, and

(32:35):
I don't think it's wrong that that's insanity. There's a
reason why Daniel Jones doesn't sign an extension because you
know and I know that he's going to bid the
Vikings and the Colts and he should against each other
for his services, and somebody's gonna blink. I don't know
who's going to be who's gonna.

Speaker 2 (32:52):
The Colts are going to pay him. I mean, dude,
they signaled that with the sauce trade with the two firsts.
They're all in on this iteration.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
They're going to Yeah, but now the tricky part is
now you have less cap space to get it done.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Yeah, there's still they're they're gonna move money around or
something like.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
They're all in that.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Something just gonna move around. But Vikings might be even
more desperate coming off a losing season. You know, you
can't go from any fourteen games from not making the playoffs.
And I have some desperation in you, you know, and
who knows that it's justin Jefferson the guys like I
want out of here because guess what that's coming next,
that's coming next. Folks. You watch, you watch, maybe put
them New England have a nice Drake May just Lord

(33:28):
every week? What star every week? Send to the Patriots
every week? They got cap space and a young quarterback
on a rookie deal. Bro, I mean in the words
to see him, Pump, tell me what I'm telling lies.
You've got wide receiver. They're gonna get a J. Brown
or they're gonna get something. You're gonna get somebody and

(33:50):
the rest of the league all God the Eagles, brown
Man Philadelphia Twitter and Philadelphia like social media was a
blaze Friday. I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Black friend man Nick Ciriani's going down with that ship.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
It wasn't. It wasn't Kevin Petuloh who was failing to
tackle Bears running backs that handoff before they got into
the second era.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Before we get to the streamers. Did you guys see
that that kid on the internet who pointed out the
I don't know if you guys caught this on social
but he was pointing out that every time Sakuon Barkley
is in past protection, he's looking around, and every time
it's a run, he's looking forward. He literally broke down
the film of it, and I'm like, okay, if this
kid did and I watched, I watched a good It
was like a three minute video that the kid did
on TikTok about it love the kid to love the TikTok,

(34:35):
and it was really smart. I was like, wow, So
if this kid figured that out, I wonder if teams
have all figured that out this year. And it's kind
of like a pitcher in baseball tipping his pitches, where
he's just giving it away so as soon as they
see it, they know exactly what to do. If I
find it again, I'll send it to you guys. But
it was a fascinating little breakdown by this guy who
was like, I don't know, like nineteen years old. He's like,

(34:56):
take a look at sakuon Barkley and every time, here
it is again. He and he kept doing it and
showing it play after play in that game, and the
Bears in the backfield every time he's looking forward and
every time his head moves before the play, every time
they're in coverage. It's crazy. Yeah, but I never saw it.
I don't know if other running backs do this, but like,
it was kind of interesting. Just throw that out. Very interesting.

(35:19):
Although I like to I like to pop.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
To where I saw it.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Saquan could just like stare at the ground and probably
wouldn't even matter behind that offense something right now because
he's going on those carriers.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Sa Kwan, what do you do? And why can't you
run the football anymore? God? So depressed, I'm gonna go
to wah wah and get a large HOGI and just
drown my sorrows. Reach All right, let's go to us
streaming quarterbacks of the week, Debro, what do you have
for Week fourteen.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Tyrod Taylor Man going against the Dolphins. Their defense is improved,
but Tyrod's got two QB one finishes. He's coming off
QB seven last week in fantasy. So we've talked a
lot about this passing a game, this passing game, but
I know it's gross man, but he's got rushing potential
when he's been a QB one.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
So let's go, all right, FITZI, he's a stream in
Week fourteen? Do my eyes deceive me? Who you put
on this sheet? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (36:04):
It's Tyler Shuck And you know, I feel like the
last couple of weeks, Joe for when I rank quarterbacks,
I should just throw the names in a hat. But basically, yeah,
I mean, oh, Lamar Jackson totally bombs.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Ye I learned my lesson. I've been watching this Lamar
thing for a couple weeks now, and I had him
pretty low. I hit him at twelve or something. He's
not healthy, He's not Lamar.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
But like Jordan Love one week, the Packers want to
run it forty times in the next second. Yeah, So
I think you just look at defensive matchups and the
Buccaneers going into Week twelve, they were along the third
most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. And while I
don't think Tyler Shuck is actually good, he has put
up eighteen plus fantasy points in two of the last

(36:45):
three games.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
Okay, let's go to an RB excuse me tight end
sorry this week to stream fancy, who do you have?

Speaker 3 (36:53):
I've got Coleston Loveland. I know he's sharing snaps with
Cole Comet, which is annoying, but Loveland's talent has just
shown through over the last or so and the Bears
wide receivers are pretty much a wall.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
At this point. Okay, tight end for you, Debro Week fourteen.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Briton Strange, Man, it's just come down to, like you
can just look at the Colts schedule. There's a lot
of these tight ends that are out on the waiver wire.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
Just just stream against the Colts. Tight Ends against the Colts,
it provides. Man.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
Like we talk about the Bengals in the show all
the time, tight ends against the Colts definitely provides. Like
they're giving up the second most receiving yards per game,
the tight end's third most fantasy points per game. So
that's what Brenton Strange is making the list this week.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
All right, Debro, Who is your favorite defense for this
week to stream?

Speaker 2 (37:33):
I'll go with the Buccaneers And like while Fitz he
talked about like yeah, Tyler shuck, like both of these
things can be true. The quarterback can be turnover prew
prone and give up sacks and be good for fantasy.
So I'll play the Bucks defense here.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
That's an interesting dichotomy we have to live by. Po
Fitz Morris, I want a defense for this week.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
Look the Washington Commanders. I know this is not a
good defense, but they did look like a professional operation
against the Broncos on Sunday night. But we are targeting
the Vikings quarterbacks and JJ McCarthy in his six starts
has thrown ten interceptions and taken twenty sacks. And obviously
if he's not ready to come back. We know what
Max Brosmer looked like yesterday. So boy, that that pick six,

(38:15):
I mean, that was one of the most preposterous pick
six is you will have wild.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
Terrible just and I you know Kevin McCarthy brought into
the sideline. Take Kevin o'connoughs. He's Kevin o'cnan browns the
sideline too, and he was like, hey, you gotta like, listen, kid,
it's like, I know it's your first start in the NFL.
You had that he had the talk with him. I
don't know if you saw that. Like right after that
moment where he kind of grabbed him by the shoulder,
pred was like, hey, listen, kids, Yeah, okay, that that
was about as a gainst. Let's not get anymore.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
I'm probably gonna lose in inn Analysts league. I'm gonna
lose by two points in a game. I probably needed
to make the playoffs because the Seattle defense scored like
food points against me.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Do you remember Tom Hanks in a league at the rown,
when you know when the girl keeps missing the cutoff man,
that's kind of like what Kevin O'Connell was looking like
what he was holding. See, what you're trying to do
is not throw the ball to the other team's hunt.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
I think he completed. He had nine throws of ten
or more air yards and completed one of them.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
Brill All right, give me a kicker for this week, Fitzy,
g start with you.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
Will Lutz been dependable this season. He's kicked three game
winning field goals twenty seven Fantasy points in his last
two games, and he gets a dome matchup against the
Raiders in Las Vegas this week. Not a bad thing
when the calendar turns to December.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
All right, Debro, how about a kicker for this week?

Speaker 2 (39:31):
Have McPherson eight, twelve and twenty four points?

Speaker 1 (39:35):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Last week, if you had Ava McPherson in the Seattle defense,
you would have gotten fifty four points of fantasy. That
is absolutely disgusting.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
Can I add one thing about McPherson though, just like,
keep your eye on the weather because he kicks in
Buffalo against the Bills. But I did check the long
range forecast in Buffalo for Sunday for pretty miles. You
did moderate wins ten to fifteen miles an hour and
maybe some light snow.

Speaker 1 (39:58):
And that's it, all right, don't miss out, and you
can pick them up at using waiver Central the tool here.
Fantasy pros, download the apps Think your Leagues for free
and use waiver Central to find the difference makers for
Week fourteen and for your fantasy playoffs. All right, the
top five for Week fourteen here, our last bye week
of the season heading into the playoffs. Fits, he give
me your top five?

Speaker 3 (40:16):
All right, I'm gonna have to explain one of these.
Jayden Higgins is going to be number one for me.
Number two, I'm going to go with the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers defense, which Deebro kind of stole out from under
me as a streamer. Look, the Buccaneers defense not scoring
a lot for Fantasy lately, but on the way home
they get matchups against the Saints, Falcons, Panthers, and Dolphins.

(40:39):
Like you can just pick up the Buccaneers and ride
them the rest of the way. And you know you're
going against Tyler Schuck, Kirk Cousins, Bryce Young and Tua
who leads the league in interceptions. So yeah, that is
not a bad way to finish out the season. And
then it's just I've got these running backs Joe Blake, Korum,

(41:01):
Tyler Algier and then bam nice.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Yeah that makes sense. This is that time, This is
that last chance to add these guys. I agree, it
is I agree one hundred percent. Debro. Give me your
top five for Week.

Speaker 2 (41:09):
Fourteen, leading off with Jaden Higgins, and I guess is
the matchup or I guess the duel to the death
of the waiver wire pickups of the last two weeks.
So Jaye Niggins number one at night, Mitchell is number two,
Chris Rodriguez and Bam Knight living in the same area
code at three and four, and I'll toss Britton Strange
her with the bye weeks and stuff at number five.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
Okay, everybody, don't forget. We'll be here on Tuesday, Derek
Brown myself three pm Eastern as always to talk more
Waiver Wire ads for you here on the Channel live.
So subscribe to the channel. Bring that belts that goes ding,
and of course you'll help you win that trophies mat
give away the ring this week two. And of course
you can help to Fantasypros dot com to check out
the Waiver Wire articles and the rankings. Everything's over there
for you to help you win that championship. This is it, everybody,

(41:53):
This is that last ditch effort get all the guys
you need on that roster before it's time for the playoffs.
That'll do it for us. But the story of the
game on for Derek Brown and Pat fitz Morris. I'm
Joey p. We'll see you next time. Kids.
