Speaker 2 (00:21):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Senior NFL insider for the Athletic. The trade deadline is
right around the corner. We saw two big moves this week.
Amari Cooper seems like an inexpensive, great fit for the
Buffalo Bills. Devonte Adams gonna cost a Jet something, but
he should make him near immediate impact. Diana Russini is
joining us live. Okay, let's start about So Aaron's not

(00:46):
happy with Mike Williams. He calls him out publicly. I
actually think as terms of go routes, red zone. Nice kid,
he's got value on the market. I thought he'd go
back to the Chargers. Does Mike Williams have a market
for any decent like playoff level teams, Diana, Yeah, right now.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
There are teams definitely poking around with the Jets. You
got this Saints, this Steelers, and the Chargers, the team
that you just mentioned that are interested in possibly figuring
out a trade package something that would work. Obviously, Mike
Williams would be returning to LA, the team that traded
him to New York. So as soon as DeVante Adams
landed in New York, the flag went up. Everyone realized, Okay,

(01:26):
this is this is going to change what they're going
to do at the receiver position. But look, he's dealing
with the fact that he's coming off injury. His age
is also another issue. So you know, you think about
a team like let's say the Kansas City Chiefs right right,
who are you know, they're they're in need, but that
doesn't seem like that would be the right fit for

(01:47):
the Chiefs on top of the fact that he would
cost so and that's become the problem here, and that's
always the problem during this time, right you have a
player like DeAndre Hopkins for example, right where I know
there are teams that are poking around that are interested
in him, but it's the price tag. It's a salary
that's crushing some of them. So unless they can find
a team willing to take on some of that, most

(02:09):
of these players may want to get traded, but that
may not be the case.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Okay, Jets and Hassan Reddick. So, Hassan and Drew Rosenhaus.
Drew is a deal making agent. Reddick is a pure
pass rusher. Jets have a good defense. If they have
a need, it's probably that is there a timeline here
on this working, or could Drew make a deal for
somebody else and the Jets get compensation.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
So when Drew met with the New York Jets on
Monday Night football to just figure out, Okay, I'm the
new agent.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I was brought in to make this work.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Hassan wants to be here, but you got to give
us an opportunity to go look for a trade. The
Jets said, all right, go see what's out there. We're
going to give you a short, little window here. We're
to put a deadline on this at some point though,
where we're going to let you talk to other teams,
which is what Rosenhaus did, which is also why he's
a great agent. Immediately got on the phone with all

(03:01):
the teams, sending messages out, calling them, going who's interested,
who needs let's talk. But we're at a point right
now where I can't find a team that is serious
about training with the New York Jets. At this point,
I do know that the Jets want to make this work.
Woody Johnson wants to make this work. We saw him
at the owners meetings a couple of days ago in Atlanta,

(03:22):
and he continues to say he just wants Hassan to
show up. So Drew seems committed to trying to make
it work with New York. We'll just see if they'll
be able to come up with a number that will
make a Son Reddick happy, because that's been the problem
with all of this. And you know, somebody close to
him shared with me a few weeks ago that he
is willing to die on this hill. He wants the

(03:42):
number the money that he expected from the New York Jets.
So we'll see if the Jets will be able to
come up with that.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Okay, when Aikman and Irvin, two big stars, publicly bash
the team, and the two things you never want to
hear about a team, is there soft that's my Lervan
on the Cowboys, or they're lazy that's Akman. In the
same week, Uh, Like the messaging is clear. You talked
to Jerry, where do you think this McCarthy Jerry thing stands.

(04:12):
Those are heavy criticisms from marquee former players.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah, the criticisms have been pretty consistent though if they're
out this season. Yes, these are Marquee players and big
names that are connected to the Dallas Cowboys. But Jerry
Jones has done, I think a pretty good job the
last week of taking the heat off his team and
putting it on himself. You guys know the story of
him having a bit of an explosion on that morning

(04:39):
radio station in Dallas, and I actually saw him later
that day at the owner's meetings and we talked about it,
and he didn't apologize. He wasn't making any excuse as
to why he went back at those radio hosts. He
just said, I don't want those kinds of questions from
from the flagship.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Station, and really went in on that.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
But in terms terms of Mike McCarthy's future, because I
did ask him if he's made any considerations about changing
the head coach and even possibly firing some of these coordinators,
getting a new voice, knowing that this defense has not
been great, even some issues on offense. What's the sort
he's not doing it? He's not doing it? And he
said it with and he's pretty defiant about it that

(05:21):
he's going to be sticking with this coaching staff. And
in terms of this upcoming trade deadline that we started
this conversation about for November fifth, we know that there
are some holes here on this Cowboys team, but Jerry
doesn't think so. Yeah, they're not going to be active.
They are sticking with the roster they have. They just
need to improve the details in practice. That was my

(05:44):
biggest takeaway from what he thinks this Cowboys team needs
to do better.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Okay, Bears offense is good, Lions offense is good, Vikings
offense is good, and the Packers offense is good. So
Aiden Hutchinson, that's a bad division to lose a dominant
pass rusher.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
So there's a window here.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
They're gonna have to start paying big money to some
of these young stars here in a couple of years.
You know, they're all so good enough. The Lions roster
is good enough. They can give up a first round
pick to get a Max Crosby and I don't think
it would hurt them for a year because I mean, seriously,
they have their tackles, their quarterback, they have Aiden would
come back next year. They have a star receiver, so

(06:22):
they're very unique where very few teams could give up
a first round pick and you wouldn't notice it. Detroit
may be one of those. If Minnesota off of by
Diana just gashes them just up and down the field,
I could see Detroit going, we need Max Crosby. I mean,
you tell me, is Detroit considering Max Crosby or a

(06:44):
big first round worthy move.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Everybody wants Max Crosby. Every coach in football wants Max Crosby.
And I talked to owner Mark Davis about it. He's like,
this is all chattered, this is acas.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
I'm not moving him.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
He is a and you know, Max spoke with reporters
recently and he left the window open in his remarks
saying he wants to win, whether it's here or wherever.
I think that was probably looked into a little too
much by all of us. I think he just misspoke
a little. I think I know, actually I don't even

(07:21):
think I know from his perspective. He wants to stay
in Las Vegas and all this chatter is gossip. Now,
I say that, right, But I've been on this show
with you where I you know, banging the table, this
head coach, this person said they are not moving their
guy as long as they're the head coach, as long
as they're the owner of this team. And what do

(07:41):
we see happen they get traded. I'm not trying to
add some some smoke to this because I do believe
Mark Davis and this. I believe they look at Max
Crosby as a centerpiece of this Raiders team. He is
everything about what you want in a Raider. So look,
in terms of Detroit, I do think they're going to
make calls.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
I do.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
I think they're going to call the Bengals, maybe see
Trey Hendrickson is a possibility for them. Look for right now,
I think they're patching it up just to get through
this game. But I do expect them to pick up
the phone. I don't think Hassan Reddick is someone that
fits what the what they're about and what they want
to do. And the other thing with Reddick to Colin
is game sheet. He's been out, what's weeks he's played,

(08:25):
So it's not an immediate impact if you bring a
guy like Reddick here.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Diana Roussini cover the NFL for a decade. Athletics senior
NFL Insider, have a great weekend as always, thank you
for stopping.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
By, all right, rus Colin, Thanks Jay, you bet.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Diana Russini stops by the very latest. I think she
made a good point there at the end too. Max
Crosby could fit with the Lions, Hassan Reddick's personality doesn't
fit with the Lions. And that's a lot of this stuff.
I hear this from time to time about draft prospects
and certain players. Some guys are more me guys and
they want to get paid guys. And Max Crosby's a
mile deep on effort, playing now and competing, So everybody

(09:03):
in the NFL wants a Max Crosby ornamor on Saint Brown.
Detroit's not only a good team, they got the right guys.
Green Bay not only a good team, they got all
the right guys. I think San Francisco is a good team.
And there's some concerns that Brandon Nyuk maybe more into
Brandon Nyuk. I know, I know players deserve to get paid.
He's stilled a year in the contract, so I think

(09:23):
that I think that matters. The other thing is I
think the bigger picture this weekend, Michael Irvin comes out
publicly and uses the word soft on the Cowboys, and
Troy Aikman comes out talking about the receivers and uses
the word lazy.

Speaker 6 (09:43):
I think the routes are terrible. I think they run
terrible routes, and I thought that beyond this year. And
I think CD's got to improve and his route running.
And as a quarterback, if you're not certain where guys
are going to be consistently, it's hard to play the position.
I see guys lazy coming off the line of scrimmage

(10:04):
sometimes they sometimes they run. Usually if they do, it's
because they're anticipating they're going to get the football in
that play. But if they're not, they don't. And it
all ties together, and so I'm not impressed with that
part of it.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Yeah, that that is an indictment on a coaching staff.
That's about as bad an indictment on a coaching staff
as you could have soft and lazy. I mean, there
are things you could be bad at, certain things if
you have cluster injury. Sean mcvay's offensive line couldn't couldn't
run block for the first couple of weeks. Nobody's blaming
the coach. Andy Reid loses a tackle, a left tackle.

(10:37):
When a Super Bowl gets blown out, nobody's blaming the coach.
I mean, like Sean Payton and Denver, they have limitations offensively,
oh lines playing great. Bo Nix is a rookie. They
could use Courtland Sutton. They could use one more big receiver.
A lot of their receivers are seventh round or fourth
round er young. There are things you can blame the coach,
but lazy and soft is an indictment on Mike McCarthy

(10:59):
and Emmanuel Sanders earlier today on something Peyton Manning always
told the wide receiver room when Emmanual was with Peyton
and Denver.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
I remember playing with Peyton and Peyton was huge on
if you're not getting the ball, still running the route
full speed just because you don't want to give anything
away or you never know I might come to you
because you might be the second read.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
And when I look at it at this Cowboys team,
I mean they got they.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Got to get their run game together as well. It
all ties in. It all ties in together.

Speaker 7 (11:30):
So if guys are being lazy and not running off
the ball because they're not getting the ball, I'm pretty
sure that they're probably not blocking in the run game
as well, and so that's a mindset from the head
coach one hundred percent. But I think that that's just
an attitude adjustment that has to be said throughout the
team in terms of let's get our damn mines together,

(11:51):
let's go out and play some real football.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
I thought that was a really good point. If they're
not running great routes, they're probably not putting in the
work blocking as wide receivers for the run game, and
it all ties together. That is a mindset, and that
is an indictment of Mike McCarthy, the head coach, and
Aikman and Irvin. We're more than willing to say it publicly.

(12:16):
That tells you something as well.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Herd weekdays
and noone Easter, not a Empacific.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
Jmack with the news, no.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
News. This is the Herd Line News.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
All right, col let's start with the Baltimore Ravens. We're
going to keep it rolling on Monday Night football against Tampa.
Baker Mayfield and Mark Andrews have had a long standing
friendship dating back to their time at Oklahoma together, and
that left the door open for some fun banter at
yesterday's media session.

Speaker 8 (12:49):
Even though Mark and I are best friends, him and
I don't talk in season.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
He's a weirdo.

Speaker 8 (12:54):
He can't exactly, you know, separate friendship and football, So
he struggles with that on a year to year basis.
So there's a few months at a time where we're
friends again. It hurts my feelings. It hurts my feelings.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
Guy was in my wedding won't talk to me. It
hurts my feelings.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
She's gonna be honest, very human moment for Baker Manfield.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
Yeah, you know, I'm starting to feel that way about
our big ten bets. It's getting heated, contentious. We're close,
We're neck and neck, and I might have to just
cut you off. No more talking about stuff during the
break and I.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Was thinking about shutting you down weeks ago.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Next up, let's go to college football, where Dion Schadour
and Travis Hunter have a big game tomorrow against Arizona
on Fox. Okay, so Travis Hunter is having an incredible
season playing both sides of the football. He's in Heisman consideration,
but Colin Travis Hunter was asked if he believes that
people's hate for his dad Dion will hold him back

(13:52):
from taking away the hardware. Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 9 (13:56):
Yeah, I feel like that too. I told him that,
but I don't want to talk about what you know.
I don't want to talk about that because then they
probably hindered me some more. I try to tell him, like,
I got a host that she owned both sides of
the ball. So if you understand, and I'm playing the
whole game every time and you never see me ti
and I'm always chasing the ball.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
No matter what.

Speaker 9 (14:12):
So I just try to tell him, like, if you've
seen somebody do this, and if you think this is
gonna happen again, yeah, I guess I agree with you
to me and in the vast situation and not let
me get the hotking.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
I don't think a lot of people hate Dion. I
think they're holding him accountable to the hype he created.
But I don't think I mean, I think everybody was like,
oh my god, Colorado Football's fun. I don't think anybody
hated him. And I think I'll say this on this show.
I said this week, I think Shadoor Sanders is the
number one pick in the draft. I think Travis Hunter
is the most talented football player in the draft, that
he doesn't play the right position, so Shadur.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Not among the heightsman odds. It's interesting that people are like,
why would you not like Dion? Obviously Travis Hunter is
not his son. Why would you like hold it against
Travis Hunter that Dion has kind.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Of the program, has gotten chatty and hasn't backed it
up with enough big wins.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
You don't know all that against Travis Hunter. He's amazing. Yeah, Like,
I can't imagine not voting for him now. I don't
think he's the best player in the country, do you.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
I think Travis Hunter is the best athlete in college football?

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Best athlete.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Well, I mean, if I was an NFL general manager,
I would take Travis Hunter first. If I needed a quarterback,
I'd take Shaduur Sanders first. I think that the draft
is gonna go Shaduur Sanders Travis Hunter. They will be
the first two players taken.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Oh, I would bet against that. I don't think, and
I'd have to look. I don't think a quarnerback's ever
gone number one in the draft, and we've had cornerbacks
go high. Saws Gardner a bunch of news but.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
I think Shaduur is gonna go number one.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
I think when you watch Shaduur, you start picking apart
the quarterbacks. Carson Beck does not feel like the same.
He's got like a sketchy old line, not the same quarterback. Well,
if a guy gets drafted in the top five, you're
going to a sketchy old line. I think Quinn Ewers
has hurt again. I think Shador Sanders from pocket movement,
athletic leadership confidence. I think you're gonna look at Shadur

(15:56):
and go I like the whole package. The more I
see him, the more I told was a good test.
The more I see of Shador, the more I like you.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
You know, we're getting in a weird space in society
where the head coach whose GM drafts Uh shaduor Sanders
is going to be looking over his shoulder because you
can start the could Dion coach his son should That's
a good and if I'm a head coach, I do
not want to be looking over my Antonio Pierce in Vegas.
If they draft Shador, you can go ahead and pencil

(16:26):
and Dion in a couple of weeks, right, I don't well,
listen Tom Brady's got got some say or in the
building now.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Well, shadure Dion Sanders has said he prefers college football.
Why he's in control of his personnel. He's in control
of his team and mostly in control of the administration.
You go to the NFL, you got to back up
cornerback who's got an attitude, and you're paying him nine million,
and as a coach, you're stuck.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
It's a guaranteed deal.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
I think I think Dion likes taking young people, being
part of their life and the control factor of college football.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
Nick Saban like that he could be the GM and
the coach.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Most of these coaches they want some control over personnel,
and he reads rare and so again, in the NFL,
you just don't unless you're like, have four rings.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
Okay, Dallas is drafting fifth. Do you take Travis Hunter
or do you take Ashton Genty the running back?

Speaker 1 (17:19):
I would take I think Dallas should go big on
running back.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
I would take Gent.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
He's probably gonna go twelfth, thirteenth, fifteenth, I trade down
take Gents.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
It's again or months away from the draft. It sounds
like you're more of a need guy versus best player.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Well, it depends on what the need is. Like, if
I need a corner, I don't have to pick one
in the first round. If I need a quarterback, or
a left tackle or an edge rusher, the best left
tackles have almost always been first rounders. The great edge
rushers Hutchison generally are higher draft picks. Quarterback, same thing, corner.

(17:54):
I can go to the third round and get a
great corner. I can go to the fourth round and
get a great receiver. Speed, I can get later size
like left tackle, defensive tackle, star quarterback. That's mostly a
first round thing.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
Well, this Colorado Arizona matchup should be a really good one. Saturday.
Arizona's good final story callus to the NBA. We're getting close.
NBA season starts next weekend. Oh, Kawhi Leonard will not
be ready. He's out indefinitely while he continues to deal
I'm sorry for laughing, to deal with knee inflammation. No
timetable for his return. Colin Clippers open the season Wednesday

(18:33):
against the Suns. They will now open into it, though
without the face of their franchise. James Harden will be there,
but Colin Kawhi Leonard was nearly on the Olympic team,
and then they were like, ah, we're not gonna play him, okay,
and now there's still a knee issue. I mean, I
don't even.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Know, you know, Steve Baumer said, hey, we're opening the
into It Dome, and Kawhi said, I'm not into it.
I mean, has there ever been a player that you
just can't explain it? He is literally a mystery. So
it's like at some point, I could never build around

(19:10):
somebody that I don't have an honest, authentic relationship with.
We don't have to be best friends, Brady Belichick, but
I think his personality as such, it's always a very
tight circle of handlers. I never know where I stand
with Kawhi Leonard. I mean, he'll come in at four
o'clock and tell ty Lou I'm not available.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
I feel like that. I feel like the Clippers are
a little bit of a prisoner to call.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
At the height of his powers, he's one of the
best players in the league, of course, one of the
best two way players maybe we've ever seen. He's went healthy,
he's awesome.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
I mean, I think there's a little bit of Kobe
and a little bit of MJ's. He's literally get a basket,
get a stop guy. He's great, silent assassin, not with
too much of a talker. I don't know what this
is going to do for like his career, art, his
career as Hall of Fame, like I mean.

Speaker 5 (19:58):
I couldn't put him in the Hall of Fame. Couldn't
do it.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
I never know what if if. My question about you is,
I'm not sure if he's gonna play. I can't put
you in the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 9 (20:09):
That's tough.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
You may not be a great rebounder, a great on
ball defender. I don't know if he'll be available tonight.
That is now his legacy, that is literally his legacy.
I'd put James Harden in. I couldn't put Kawhi in.
I'd put Westbrook in. Westbrook played hard every night, flawed,
played hard every night, Westbrook's first ballot.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Hawaii has two finals MVPs, right spurs and uh that
Fugazi one with the Raptors where the whole Warriors team
got hurt. Two finals MVPs and you're not put I
think that's a take right there. No Hall of Fame
for Kawhi.

Speaker 5 (20:42):
Okay, he still got four years to play.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
It may change my mind. He gives me a couple
more trophies. I'll consider it, yeah. J mack with the news.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Well that's the news, and thanks for stopping by the Herd.

Speaker 5 (20:55):
Lie he's been on a heater. J Max Picks Next.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Herd dayson
Nooneaster not a em Pacific.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
Chance to win pree cast prizes playing Fox Super six
sponsored by DraftKings. Here's a special contest this week for
Patriots Jaguars in London that you could see on NFL
Network Sunday at nine to thirty am. What are the
Fox Sports app to make your picks? One of the
questions is which player will have the most rushing yards? Colin,
you got Ramandre Stevenson, Antonio Gibson, Tank Bigsby and Deernest Johnson.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Tank big b he's good, by the way, Travisen t
Edson falling off the planet.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
I know he's got a hammy.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
But Tank bigs Man. I start my day. I stand
on business.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
All right.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
J Mackett's week seven making his picks. I'm very he's
had a.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
Very very good year. I started a little lobbily.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Ten years in a row for you, Wobbly well, but
like Mahomes, I'm good in the fourth court.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
There we go, Here we go.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Tomorrow's headlines today, yuckies Eagles at the Giants on Fox.

Speaker 5 (22:00):
My bad. It's gonna be a great game.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
How is that young? That's a great divisional matchup. They
don't like each other.

Speaker 5 (22:06):
Andrew Thomas is out.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Oh poor Giants. Oh no, the worst team in New York.
So sorry. The headline will be yards of Sale, Giants
trash is Eagles treasure sat Quad Markedleay revenge spot. I
know you like it. I can't wait for Saquon to
go off in this all summer. We knew this game
was coming. Saquon had it circled on the calendar. When

(22:28):
the Giants moved off of him, it felt like, oh,
we don't know what we're doing. Saquon has thrived. He
had a quiet week last week, probably thinking about this game.
And as you said, the Andrew Thomas injury is significant, Colin.
I was just able to pull up some of the
numbers here. In the last five meetings between Eagles and Giants,
if you remove Week eighteen last year when all backups played,
who cares toss it? The Eagles have smashed them five

(22:50):
times in a row, easily winning all the games. It's
a bad matchup for the Giants. We're seeing by the way,
Giants injury report today is crucial. Dexter Lawrence is wobbly.
Ryan Burns will see obviously Thibodeau is injured. Colin. I
don't I don't like the Giants here. I think Sirianni
all that noise, swirling, talking trash to the fans. I
think the Eagles rally around him. This feels like a blowout.

(23:12):
Thirty eight thirteen Eagles put it on him.

Speaker 5 (23:14):
I like your conviction.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Tomorrow's headlines today this one. I just want to watch
Texans at the Packers.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Yeah, arguably the greatest Gabe outside of Chiefs Niners. This weekend,
we know that that division, the NFC North, has dominated
right seventeen and three against the spread against non division opponents.
The headline will be eat play Love. Jordan closed his
book on Texans, gimme Jordan Love. And again, I'm not,
you know, gassing you up too much, but your call

(23:42):
on Jordan Love's looks pretty good early. This kid, Jayden
reid Man, he is dynamic, he is awesome.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
And he's not the one we talk about Watson and Dobbs,
it's Reid Wicks.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
A little banged up. I think he's gonna go. But
Reed has really been special. The running game has been good.
And I don't know something's up with the Texans this year, Colum.
They're not a dominant last year they were like whoa.

Speaker 5 (24:01):
Well, they're still young, though.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
I think the pressures got to them a little. I
think some of the lines are inflated for them this
year because they're not covering the way they used to
put away the Patriots smash spot last week. No, Nico
Collins keep an eye on that. That allows Jayi Alexander,
who's physical, he's mouthy, to match up with Stefan Diggs.
I think there could be some problems for CJ. Stroud here.
He's struggled a little bit against Man. Yeah, and first

(24:24):
game on grass for the Texans, but of a slower surface,
mixing will be the equalizer here. I like Joe Mixon
a lot. Give me the Green Bay Packers winning.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
I see this next one. Hmmm, this is one of
my blazing five babies.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Tomorrow's headlines today. I like the Seahawks and Atlanta on Fox.
I think this is a sneaky, sneaky, really really good
game to watch.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
The first game I bet this week. So I saw
Atlanta when they played the Saints. They were two and
a half point favorites. Okay, Atlanta played Tampa two and
a half point favorites. This is the last couple weeks.
Why are they three against Seattle? The headline will be
krk a doodle? Don't Seahawks give Cousins the bird? Look
at that? We got a middle finger on TV. Hello, listen.

(25:07):
Seattle has been on a slide three in a row.

Speaker 5 (25:09):
But they've been beat up.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
They've been beat up, and they had three games in
eleven days. They were just physically worn down. They got
destroyed by the Giants forty nine ers as well. Everybody's
looking healthy. The kid Byron Murphy, ooh, he has been
a terror. Went healthy. He's back. I think he can
get some pressure up the middle. I saw stat Kirk Cousins.
I know that in that opener he was not moving
at all. Ninety four percent of his passes this season

(25:32):
have been from the pocket. You gotta get him off
the spot. He's still not mobile, and Seattle doesn't dial
up pressure, but they're getting pressure with four, third in
the league in pressure rate, which is good. Mafey the
edge rusher is healthy. Ye, I think this is a
Seattle spot, do you know Smith? I mean Atlanta has
no pass rush none. I mean we're Matt League, that's it.

Speaker 5 (25:51):
They got no passion none.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
I think they're third to last in pressure rate. So
Gino's gonna sit in the pocket and pick apart this
where he more zone. Keep an eye on JSN Smith Nujigba.
I think a big, big game for him. Lock it
little dinged up, but he's always he's a gamer. And
one last one, DK metcalf Man aj Terrell was a
good cornerback for Atlanta. He got paid. He's gotten cooked
by every receiver he's face this year. DK's probably gonna

(26:14):
get him. I like Seattle to win out right.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
On the road tomorrow's headlines Today, I stayed away from
this baby. Chief's forty nine ers on Fox America will
be watching.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
What say you?

Speaker 4 (26:25):
Well, listen, I know the audience was watching. I think
this was yesterday where you were just doing your rock
party thing and you said a couple comments, and I
sent a text to the guys who helped me produce
this segment I say we're firing. Headline will be zero
dark party, Casey's lights go out in sand Fred got
your geniuses of this show, so we got to get

(26:47):
the silly trends out of the way. Early. Andy Reid
is unbelievable off of buy. I think the number is
in his career twenty seven and four. Patrick Mahomes is
an underdog eleven one and one against the spread. Oo Colin,
this line is almost what it was for the Super Bowl,
which was at a neutral site, San Franz at home
now and Casey is not as good as they were
last year. Colin. They lost Snead Pacheco and Rice. When

(27:10):
you do your who are the ten best players in
the Indiania, those are three of the ten best guys
and they're gone. You can't expect Kareem Hunt to go
for a buck ten year. And I don't see Jujus
Smith Schuster by the way, popped up hamstring injury, Colin,
you know the soft tissue injuries are dicey? Who they got?

Speaker 5 (27:26):
Now?

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Who are they gonna throw to? Justin Watson? I'm telling
you San Francisco, Kyle Shanahan, this is the game. He
has to win. This Spagnolo's the man, we know it.
San Francisco wins this game. Brock Perdy's gonna come in
finally get the win over your die.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Also, that is in the five years we've been doing this,
that's the best headline. Zero that the animation and the
graphic that's the best for best. Finally tomorrow's headlines today.
So I Jeff Steelers, I think this is this is
my second favorite bet on the board.

Speaker 4 (27:59):
We had to win a wait on this one, you know,
waiting for the big news for Pittsburgh. I will say,
you talk me into this one. Your conviction all week
on this one has me sold. The headline will be
anti by Russ. Steelers get at by themselves. I can't
stop laughing. This is the most befuddling quarterback change I can.

(28:19):
I can recall in years Colin don't go to play
as well in the room. This is just so strange
that Tomlin would go to him Pickens of course, letting
the cat out of the bag. Oh yeah, Ross first
team reps all week. I don't think Tomlin's happy. Now
there is a world where TJ watches recks this game
right and destroys the Jets, and they don't ship him,
they don't double team him, and TJ watch destroys his
But I just I can't get over the fact that

(28:42):
Russ is starting his first game with a third string center.
The right side of their line is decimated. Quentin Williams
could be in line for a big one for the Jets. Obviously,
Devonte Adams is a significant upgrade Adams, Lazard and Wilson.
That's a pretty damn good trio receivers.

Speaker 5 (28:57):
It is.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
When you move Lazard back to a three, now it's
a real receiving corps.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
Obviously, the Jets injuries a cornerback are not great, but
soft gardners should be able to lock up pickens. Just
stop holding and stop getting flags like you did against
Justin Jefferson, and I think the Jets finally get a win.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
So funny Jet fans think I hate him. They know
you love them. But I've been saying all week this
is the best two and four team in the league
and will be the best wild card team in the AFC. Now,
the top of the AFC, the Big four, those are
good teams. They're better than the NFC's top, but the
wild card is much better. In the NFC, the wild

(29:33):
card in the AFC. I think the Jets are easily
the fifth team of the three wild card spots five, six, seven.
I think the Jets are if they win this week
and then you start looking at the schedule they get,
they get Drake may come up.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Are we calling the Chargers and Broncos are.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
The no Denvers not is no no no no no.
I think DeVante Adams potentially Reddick now the Chargers Denver
team that beat the Jets in the rain right team
Teams evolve and change. I think Denver's playing as well
as they can by the defenses. I think the Jets
have a level with Davonte I mean again, Davante Garrett

(30:10):
Wilson Wizard. Okay, Denver can't compete with that. The Chargers can't.
So there's more juice on the perimeter that the Chargers
in Denver don't have in the Jets.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
No, let me ask you. If Aaron Rodgers for the
fourth week in a row, gets the ball late with
a chance to win the game and doesn't and fails again,
well you know you firing on Monday night this time?

Speaker 2 (30:29):
Huh he salah.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
And then it's adding DeVonta Adams what's the next move,
because that's all Arin's doing. He's doing this misdirection stuff.
And all I know is win the damn game. Go
out and get me a win on the final drive
against the Pittsburgh Steels. That's all you gotta do.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
No pressure.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
They fall to two and five. Col in that New
York media, oh buzzards circling Hoday Apple.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
I mean the Mets are losing to a better team.
Nobody's going to crush the Mets. I mean the Dodgers
are a better team. They got like six Hall of famers. Yeah, man,
Max Mounsey twelve straight twelve can say executive on base.
That's like little League. That's what they do in Williamsport.
When you're the twelve year old with a mustache, like
twelve times you go to the plate twelve times in

(31:10):
a row, you get on.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
That doesn't even happen. All right, good stuff this week,
j Mac. That was one of your all timers there.
Thanks to the crew in the back, very very.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
Funny, solid, solid crew.

Speaker 5 (31:21):
All right, have a.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Great weekend, Diana Russini, thank you. Emmanuel Sanders, the former
Broncos stopped by as well. First things first, we got
baseball games after first things First. FS one is the
place you want to be today, Great games tonight,

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
