Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume. Guys, today's video is brought to you by
our good friends at hard Rock Bet.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
I always tell you that hard Rock Bet gets you
in on all the sports around the world, and right
now I'm locked in on the NBA Playoffs, and all
new customers bet only five dollars or more, and if
that original bet hits, you get one hundred and fifty
and bonus bets instantly.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Look, there are a lot.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Of ways you can bet the NBA Finals, from who wins,
how many games, MVP, all those different things you can.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Bet at hard Rock Bet.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
But all you gotta do win that original bet, get
one hundred and fifty and bonus bets on the NBA Finals.
Right now, my pick the New York Knicks. I don't
want to pick the New York Knicks when you have
looked as dominant as you have looked. I believe the
Knicks get it done, and I believe that the Spurs
probably need one more year before we run into another

(00:56):
one of those Spurs dynasties like we had before. New
York Knicks six games over the San Antonio Spurs get
in on it.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
At hard Rock Bet.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Are good friends, payable and bonus bets is not a
cash offer offered by the Seminal Tribe of Florida and
Florida offered.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
By Siminal hard Rock Digital LLC. In all other states.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
You must be twenty one or older and physically present
in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee,
or Virginia to play. Terms and conditions apply. Concerned about
gambling in Florida called one eight eight eight a d
mit it. In Indiana, if you are someone you know

(01:41):
has a gambling problem and wants help, call one eight
hundred nine with it. And if you have a gambling problem,
call one eight hundred gambler. All right, guys, So look,
I'm in my Sansul hyperbaric chain right now. I can

(02:01):
do my podcast from here everything. So today I'm gonna
talk about justin gegche Iliot to Pouria as we get
close to the White House, and I'm doing it from
here inside my hyperbaric chamber. Guys, today's video is brought
to you by Total Wireless, the official wireless provider of UFC.
They're in your corner with unlimited five G data that
will not slow you down. So you know that when

(02:25):
guys are going to fight, trash talk can become a
part of it. The levels to which the trash talk
goes is generally on the fighter. Justin Gaechie isn't a
guy that we associate much trash talk too, but if

(02:47):
given the right opportunity, because I know Justin off the field,
so I know he can run his mind a little bit,
especially on the golf course.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
But now he seems to be ramping up that talk
with Iliot.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
For you, the one thing about this fight and the
one thing about Ilia and I recognize this the very
first time I interviewed him. I sat down with him
before he fought Alexander Bolkanowski and he said to me,
and he said to me, with one hundred percent certainty, DC,
I promise you I'm going to knock this guy out.

(03:20):
And I had seemed to pour your fight before I
saw when he beat josh im it up in Florida.
But when he said it, I said, Ilia, really, and
he goes, DC, I promise, no disrespect to how great
this guy is or what he has been, I am
going to knock him out. And I was like, man
for a fighter, especially one at that stage in his

(03:41):
career where he's on his first title fight to speak
with that type of certainty, I was like, man, it's
kind of crazy. With that being said, right, he has
now said that about all these great fighters that he
has finished.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Back to back. Hell, he told Charles Olavera, I'm sorry
it had to be you.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
What I can't imagine, though, is while we are all
watching this as the consumer from the outside, and we're
enamored with, Oh my god, this guy's calling his shot.
Connor McGregor did the same thing and became.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
A global superstar.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
He's doing everything he's telling us going to do against
some of the best in the world. Max Holloway, Alexander Volkanowski,
Charles Olavera, back to back one of the greatest three
fight runs in UFC history. While we're sitting back going, man,
that's pretty cool that this kid can do this, can
say this and then deliver, it's not.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Cool to the opponent. The opponent's sitting there going, man,
I don't like this shit. I don't like this guy.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
I don't like the certainty he speaks with in regards
to what he thinks gonna happen in our fight. Nobody
has done to me. What this man is saying he
is going to do to me. I could imagine that
to the opponent. That shit is annoying and the worst
because at the end of the day, he has proven

(05:05):
that he can do those things, which leads me to
Justin Gaichee, who at the top of this I said,
isn't the biggest trash talk guy in regards.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
To his fights. Today he's kind of talking to Iliot.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
And I'll tell you exactly read this worst word so
I don't miss quote JG. He told Fox Sports. All
he is is a gimmick. He calls himself the king,
he thinks he's a god. What an annoying little bastard.
I couldn't imagine being in a room with him for
thirty minutes listening to him talk about himself. All I
can say, and I can say this, I would leave him,

(05:44):
Gaichie added, referencing to poor recent divorce. That's all I'm saying.
I would leave him. No way I would put up.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
With that shit.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Justin Gaichee goes on to see some other stuff. But
when you talk about that, Ilia hasn't had things to
say about Justin. Ilia believes that again once again, he's
going to just run through Gaichee, and if you are
to believe what you have seen from the Poia, a

(06:22):
very big section of the fan base probably believe that
he will do to Justin Gates you, but nobody's done.
But Justin's saying he doesn't necessarily like him because he
feels like Ilia has a little bit of a god complex.
I always like when there is trash talk accompanying a fight,
especially a championship fight, and especially a fight of that

(06:44):
magnitude where you have the greatest backdrop for any fight
in the history of the sport, the White House, where
you have two championship fights in front of what will
be the biggest broadcast or the biggest fan audience that
we have ever seen in mixed martial arts. You need

(07:07):
to have those things that surround the fight that make
the general fan go, I've gotta see this.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
The White House is gonna draw a lot of people
in that might not have been before. But to see
now that the pleasant trees aren't as evident as they
might have been.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Before, I like it. I like it. I like the storylines.
I liked when I saw.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Elliot Taporia get mad because Josh Hokien was going crazy
on Alex Pereira. I liked that press conference because I
am a fan of this thing, and I remember all
the way back to Mike Tyson, Biden, Evander Holyfield. I
remember Muhammad Ali and what he did to guys when
he was fighting him. I remember the Four Kings fighting

(07:53):
and boxing and all the trash dog that a company.
I remember Carlos Mayorga, who smoked cigarettes and talked all
these things that I am saying, while they did ultimately
end up being competing inside of the boxing ring or
the octagon. I remember Chuck Lendell and tr Ortiz, Brock
Lesnar and Frank Meer. While it all ultimately ended up

(08:17):
being competed inside the octagon, the story that surrounded the
fight made the fight even bigger. And I think now
we're starting to get that with Justin Gaegee and Elliot
to pour you.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
But not only would those two, even the other fights.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
On that card from Josh Hokitt and Derek Lewis where
Derek says he guarantees he's going to knock him out,
where Josh Hokitt has become public enemy number one to
everyone on that entire card, where Alex Perera is in
sparring footage, and everybody is saying that Alex Perera doesn't

(08:59):
look like the same guy because he's heavy now and
he might be more hittable, and if he's more hitable
at heavyweight, that's a real problem.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
I like that people are saying, man cyril Gan's the
fastest heavyweight, and if Robellus is hitting him, and if
the other Brazilian kid that just lost a couple of
weeks ago is hitting him, does Alex Perrera the heavyweight
do as well as Alex Perrera the middleweight in the

(09:31):
light heavyweight because now he went from me and the
biggest guy in the weight class to now the smallest
guy in the weight class. But it's all these storylines
that are drawing in not only me as a person
that's in the business and that is so tied to
the fight, but to the casual fan.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Because I speak to the casual fan.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
I speak to people who aren't involved, and I ask
him about what they think about this fight, and it's
all those things, all those factors now adding the gates
y versus the poor yet real beef right, Justin is
a competitor and a dog. He doesn't like hearing that
a person thinks they're just gonna walk through him. Ilia

(10:17):
won't like hearing justin reference his divorce because now it's personal.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Now it's personal. Whether you like it or not, now
it's personal. Those are the things that draw in the casual.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Since the UFC has been on Paramount, everything's being seen
by more people. And then when some of the deals
that are coming down the pipewar are down the line
with Paramount, it's the audience is just gonna get bigger
and bigger and bigger. But I believe that while the
fight may sell, the stories also matter. And you know what,

(10:58):
that's why we watch round the Rossy genrontal not because
of who they are today, but because of who they
were back then. Could they look like the two women
we remember them being back in the day. Don't fool
yourself into believe in that storylines don't matter, because they
absolutely do. You know, we're only a few days away
from heading out to Washington, DC, and it's getting very spicy,

(11:22):
and I believe that there's some pressure on these American
fighters to fight better. Let's see if they can do it,
because they seem to be up against it. At the
White House, what y'all thinking about this? Justin Geigee, iliot's
a poor you thing. And also do you believe it?
Do you believe what is coming from Gaigee's mouth? Or

(11:43):
are we gonna be in another one of those Strickland
Jemaiah situations?

Speaker 2 (11:48):
You guys? Let me know down in the comments.
