Speaker 2 (01:57):
All right, guys. UFC Freedom two fifty just wrapped in.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Today's postfight video is brought to you by Total Wireless,
the official wireless provider of UFC. They're in your corner,
but unlimited five G data that will not slow you down.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I mean he just looked behind me. What a historical
night from Washington, DC. It was just absolutely perfect. Everything
worked out, you know, the fights were amazing. It didn't
rain one time, like no rain. All the negative things
that many people talked about may happen coming into this event,

(02:32):
none of it happened. It worked as good as anything
the UFC has ever done, The fights delivered, the crowd. Guys,
when I tell you the enormity of this thing, eighty
thousand people at the Ellipse is a crazy number. The
amount of people we had here on the south mown
of the White House was only forty five hundred, but

(02:54):
it felt like ten fifteen thousand. It just felt like
a massive event. All the service men and women just
surrounding us.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
It was nuts. It was absolutely nuts.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
The celebrities, the President, it was just a great night
all around. You know, for an event like this to
come together takes a lot of ambitious people coming together
to make it happen, and we got that. But the
night belonged to Justin Gaechee, a guy that came in
here as a six to one doll. Justin Gage has
long been considered your favorite fighter's favorite fighter. And that's

(03:28):
not just something people say because it sounds cool.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
This is real.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Justin goes in there with Elliot to Pouriot, a guy
who has been just absolutely phenomenal the entirety of his career.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
He gets hurt, very bad builds.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Back when we were talking about this thing and we
were building this thing, I told Anakin Rogan, I believe
that a setting can propel people the great things. I'm
not the type of person that does not think that
the tire can play a part in the result of
a fight.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Tonight, I feel like.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
That happened Justin Geatechie always is a dog, but I
think when you start to couple everything together, the birthday
of the United States of America, the White House, South Lawn,
fighting an undefeated champion, it all worked perfectly. In that
second round, it looked like Iliot was going to get
him out of there. But that first round was very close.

(04:25):
But Ialya fought a great second part of the first round.
He hurts Justin to the body. I don't know that
Justin could have got up and defended himself. Ilia followed
him to the ground, went to work, tried to finish
him with submissions, but he wasted a lot of energy
when he got into those positions. Gateschie gets back up.
Third round is his best round that he had of
the entire fight. He worked forward, he dropped Ilio with

(04:49):
some punches and he was able to really start to
spread himself. Guys, in between the third and fourth round,
it was crazy. Hey, you guys gotta see Miles. Miles
come here. Look at how Miles looks right now. These
guys have been worked. These guys haven't worked like you.
Guys would not believe. Miles is run down and can't
wait to get back to California. Between the third and

(05:12):
fourth round, it was some of the craziest stuff I've
ever seen. I couldn't imagine. I couldn't imagine the referee
stopping the fight and then are sorry the doctor's stopping
the fight. Then the referee having the wherewithal right, Mark
Goddard having the experience to say, I'm gonna let these

(05:33):
guys continue. Inexperienced doctor, experienced referee that said, no, it
can't end like this.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
You gotta let him fight.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Ilia wanted to fight, Justin wanted to fight, and they
let him fight, and it turned out the way that
it did. An extra minute in between rounds, my phone
is flooded with text messages because everybody in the American's.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Like, that's bullshit.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
He got more time to rest Elliott comes back, fight's
a good fourth round, does a tremendous job fighting in
the fourth round. But at the end of the fourth
round he shoots a takedown. Justin defends a takedown, starts
to punch him in. With ten seconds left, he knees
him in the body. You can immediately see Ilia's.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Left hand gole back, and then the fight stopped.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
In between the fourth and fifth, Ilia's brother said, we
finished a fight. Someone else in the corner said enough
is enough.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Eliot.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Before you was beaten and battered, but it did not
look like he was ready to quit. Honestly, I thought
the fourth round was one of his better rounds after
Justine started to take over. But it was all about
j G. JG fought like a warrior man, and it
was just a visual him walking past all the former presidents,
American flag draped over his shoulders. It gave it, just

(06:48):
gave you goose bumps. I'm a guy. It as an
American flag. I'm a guy that has a night a
seventeen seventy six to twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Flag for this year. I love this country.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
My doormats Sam proud to be an American at the
front door back, door side door.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
I love being American and that's.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
What this was about, for me to come out here
on the birthday of our country and celebrating Tonight, everybody
is celebrating Justin Gaetchee for that beautiful performance. Congrats to
my boy. He got it done, and he got it
done against a guy that was not willing or wanting
to give away a championship. In the Cole main event,
Alex Pereira dared to be great, he dared to dream.

(07:29):
Unfortunately didn't go his way. Cyril Ghan is the real deal.
I don't understand why for so long we have all
tried to bypass Cyril Gan as one of the best hadyweights,
if not the best hadyweight in the world. He has
told you time and time again he belongs. He's told
us time and time again he has earned. I've earned

(07:50):
my opportunity that I've earned my chances to get these
title fights. Nothing is given, Nobody gave me anything, and
tonight he showed once again why he is so highly
regarded in his division, finishing Alex Predata in a stand
up fight. What Cyril Gan did beautifully though, I believe,
was he showed him takedowns. He showed him wrestling and

(08:13):
by doing that, he was able to get Pereerra thinking
all of his skills. We said before the fight that
if Cyril showed up like he did against tom Aspinal,
Perera would have problems.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
He showed up like that.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Guys, many people on the inside were actually picking Cyril
gan and thought that he was a pretty big favorite.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
But that's not the discredit Perreira.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Pererra did something that most people would not even imagine
trying to do, and that's trying to become a three
division champion. And h I love him for that, man.
I love that he's bold, I love that he takes chances,
and I'm love that he gave himself a chance to
be you know, the one percent. You know, Siril Gando

(08:58):
deserves an opportunity to fight tom Aspa next and I
can't wait for that to happen. Sean Omalley said he
needed a knockout. He got that tonight. Finish his name
as a hobby and it salutes as even as falling down. Guys,
you want memories when you're fighting in the UFC. Seana

(09:19):
Malley created another memory that's gonna last a lifetime. That
was crazy man. O'Malley looked fantastic tonight, and I believe
that now he's gonna be on a short list of guys.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
I know Morobino should.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Fight a trilogy, but I think that people will look
more closely out O'Malley now because he has a victory
over over Pyodrian before. But I believe morob should get
that title fight. He was tremendous last year. Josh holk
It beat Derek Lewis, knocked him out. Hok It just
keeps getting better. I know a lot of people dislike him,

(09:56):
but you guys better get used to him because I
don't think he's going anywhere for a while. This kid
can fight, and if they don't get him out of there,
he's gonna pressure him. He's gonna make him work and
he's gonna beat him. Josh Hokin is the real deal.
I know he's a bit off putting and he pissed
the people off tonight, but in terms of fighting ability,
Josh Hokin has it. Bo Nico with a beautiful knockout

(10:18):
over Coyle Dawkas showing that he's continuing to evolve in
mixed martial arts and looking fantastic doing it. Also, Diego Lopez,
what a massive stoppage over Steve Garcia. Guys, this was
the best night of fighting I've ever seen, and honestly,
it was the best event I've ever been a part of.
I have seen a lot of things in my life.

(10:39):
I've been to the Olympics, I fought for world titles.
Nothing has ever been like this fight. I mean again,
I'm writing for White House. I'm a poor kid from Lafayette, Louisiana,
and I am now living the American dream and I'm
just so happy and blessed that i have you guys
to support me as I've done all this stuff over

(11:00):
the course of my career. My Total Wireless Fighter knight
goes to Justin Gaichee six to one dog and he
got it done. So congrats to Justin Gaichee to becoming
my Total Wireless Fighter of the Night.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
He'll be getting more Fighters of the Night, which will
be some tremendous bonuses in the big account of Justin Gaichee. Guys, again,
thank you for your love and support. I appreciate you
guys for running up these numbers this week. You guys
have just been unbelievable. Eighty thousand people id the Ellipse.
I can't wait to see the TV numbers because they're
going to be massive. This was the biggest night in

(11:36):
UFC history. This is the biggest night in ever May history.
And like I tell you guys constantly, when the UFC
is good, MMA is good. So let's all work together
and try to keep building our sport, the sport that
we all love, mixed martial arts. Until next time, guys
like subscribe to tell you for the tote e Ferendce.
DC's got a YouTube channel and I'm doing things like
