R you're listening to Fox Sports Radio. I'm just glad

we really run that? Mike Vikings Open? No, No, Now,
you gotta go win a game. No, we win a game.
It goes into the trash. We go beat the Bills

(00:42):

get she lacked by the Bills. Well highlights. There's gonna
be a new Open. It will be more mocking. Take Out,
take out, Vikings, take out, Harrison Smith, Paul Allen move

appearance with my best friend Mike Harmon live from the
tirect dot com Studios Direct dot Com. We'll up you
get there an unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road
hazard protection over ten thousand recommended installers tirect dot com
the way tire buying should be. Uh why ma it?
Look if we want to talk about the okay, okay,

(01:25):
well we'll just leave. Uh. You know what I like.
We got a lot of big NFL stuff to to
get to tape. But you know what I love. The
fact is anytime I I I get on Twitter and
I see something that just strikes me as what the
hell could this possibly be? And so I get on
I look at you know, trends for me and I
see the number one trend is void a D and

(01:46):
I go, oh my god. Okay, this is Laker fans
who are now upset because he didn't you know, he
barely played tonight, and you know they now they want
to avoid his contract and all this. Okay, okay, they
don't want him now he's having one bad game there,
I mean one bad game against the Cavaliers. No, No,
it's all betters who were upset that they didn't know

(02:06):
that he was fighting flu like symptoms all day and
wasn't gonna be a percent. So they all want their
Lakers bets avoided because the Lakers got smacked by Cleveland
tonight one sixteen one oh two. A D plays eight minutes,
he scores a point. He was not himself. And this
is the guy who has been a you know, an
m v P type player for the past seven eight games.

(02:26):
Now they all want their bets avoided because hey, A
D was playing with flu like symptoms. You gotta let
us know that man incomplete information. You know me and
my my feelings on injury reports. I know, obviously once
you start getting into into bed with all the the
betting companies and their partners to to what you're presenting,

(02:47):
the rules of engagement, uh change, But I've long said
to help with it, you're you're playing against the laundry.
Whoever shows up shows up. Uh, from a competitive standpoint,
because it used to be the competitive it was the stance,
although we all knew it was for the gamblers. So
in this case, look, we avoided a lot of other
random bets or cashed out early or whatever the case.

(03:09):
Maybe perhaps this was an instance that they should have
done the same. But you know what he played, he
just couldn't finish, kind of like the Caleb Williams apologists
the other night. You know what he played, he got injured.
Life goes on old bladd old blad make another bet.
I couldn't finish it. It happens, it happens. But hey,
if but if he turned his ankle eight minutes into

(03:30):
the game, are you dunching and wanting your money back?
Then no, you're not. No, but that, but that happened.
It's not a pre existing thing that potentially people are saying, Oh,
I didn't know about this. This was kept from me.
I didn't. I didn't know about this before I bet
on the game. It's dean. If a guy gets hurt,
a guy gets hurt. But if hey, we we hid
the fact that he had no I could see where
people are gonna a little bit salty and what and

(03:50):
want their money back. I can understand that you'll get nothing,
and like it. He suited up. He tried to go, Wow,
don't gamble with mine. If you ever wanted to be
a professional book he people would not gamble with you. No,
he's not gonna he's not gonna see my side on anything.
I'm not gonna. Yeah, but if you start refunding for that,
now you're opening the door in all sorts of situations

(04:11):
and permutations. And I don't need the pr from my
betting surface, so I don't have to give out free
bets or anything else, So leave me out of it. Hey, look,
I lost a lot of money betting on the Jets
because Zach Wilson sucked and and there was no All
they did was tell me how good Zach Wilson was
gonna be, and I believed it, so I bet the Jets.
He was terrible. Now I want my money back. You

(04:32):
you misled me and told me he was gonna be
really good, and obviously he stinks. So think about all
my money back that I lost onto this season. But
think about applying that to fantasy football advice or picks
on games. Everybody picked this that's wrong. So what do
they do to them? Are they docking their pay or
they're paying out anybody who wagered based on advice that

(04:53):
someone on a pregame show gave. Or if I had
a guy in my top five running backs and he sucked,
that's that they come back after me. Now life goes on.
All I can all I can predict his opportunity based
on past performance and the matchup that stands ahead. If
he gets stone Wall, you know, like Damian Pierce was
running like a man, like a house of fire and

(05:15):
all of a sudden he can't fall forward. Is that
my fault? No, Harmon was a guy that told me
to start Damian Pierce and now he look at what
he's doing. I want me, you know what, Harmon, I
want you to give me my money back. I don't
want my money back from the I want you to
give me my money back. But that that that's where
you're opening the door to. You screwed me, Harmon. You

(05:36):
absolutely wasn't. There wasn't there a site a few years
ago that would offer you like insurance on a player,
like if you drafted a player in the first round
of the draft or something like that, and and and
he got hurt, you could get some they would they
would refund some of your money for your league. There
I remember, I remember that being a story. Uh sometime
in the last few years there was like there was

(05:58):
like an insurance for that if player got hurt and
and early on, like within the first like three weeks
and your season was over to make the playoffs, you
can get some money back on it. I mean that's life, man.
That's the National Football League, I mean the best ball
scenario league. Right draft it goes into magazine's websites. Whatever
I played without a tight end since Darren Walkler got hurt, however,

(06:21):
is an I'm still first in the league. I'm playing
with one position that gets me zero week after week.
Nobody cares about your fantasy teams. You know what, that's
absolutely incorrectly Jason Kaaren, he was kissening with wrapped attention,
wishing he still had t John Walker. Listen, it's okay

(06:45):
that the time they're gonna own you, fool for eleven years, dude.
The guys really good for the first two and a
half months of the season. He's terrible the back half.
Everything that leaves. I'm okay with that. I'm okay with
the Mets losing taiwand Walker, I'm okay. I'm okay with
the Philly's giving him seventy million dollars. Well, now now
we'll turn into a Look, that's all the Phillies are
doing is getting our old players, and that's how they're winning.

(07:07):
Let's get synder Guard, Let's get Wheeler, Let's go get
Taiwan Walker. That's all they're doing, man, They're trying to
get our plants. All that I think a lot of
it is to kinda get you in the swinging neck
breaker and takeing down with guys that once fun a
time we're on your roster. That's truly when all this is,
it's like, remember these guys, Yeah they were yours. Here's
one after another coming after you. We could talk about

(07:29):
how complicated other banks make it to a deem credit
card rewards, or we could talk about how we discover
you can redeem your rewards for cash and any amount
of any time. I mean talk about amazing learn more
at discovered dot com slash redem rewards terms they do
apply now. Speaking of baseball, today was a very big
day because for about seven or eight minutes, the Giants

(07:49):
had Aaron Judge, and now they still might wind up
with him. They probably still are going to wind it
with him. But baseball insider John Hayman tweeted out, Aaron
Judge is going to the are Arson Judge actually, because
right there, right there, as soon as he tweeted that,
I said, I can't even do a Bourman thing with
that tonight because all the best jokes are taken with that. Apparently,

(08:14):
Frostberg went and bet the Giants, so the Giants supposedly
we're getting Aaron Judge or Arson Judge, and then a
few minutes later he said, whoops, sorry, guys, who jumped
the gun? The giants haven't heard from Aaron Judge. Sorry, sorry,
sorry everybody, And they haven't wanted to forgill him. They
are so mad at him. And I know, look, I

(08:34):
get it. When you're an insider and you tweet something
out that happened, we have to take it on account
that it actually happened. But this brings me back to
what we talked about last night. I told you I
can be an MLB insider just because of my intelligence.
I told you, hey, when Jacob Degram signed with the
Rangers by Monday, the Mets are gonna have another star
starting pitcher. Order, you said, And what happened justin Verlanders stop,

(08:58):
Frostburg stop did not and they got just have to
take played back. You're just upset because we beat you
to Scherzer and Verlander and each of the last well
that the White Sox are always close, Yeah, I mean
they're always right there. Have you figured that out? What
you got? You know what I heard? I heard the

(09:19):
White Sox were the mystery, but that but that's what
they've been doing. Every year since I've been alive, it's
been the oh well, you know what, we really put
in an aggressive offer and it just wasn't good enough.
I couldn't even say that with a straight Phacey, you
got a phone call from good, I'm good forever. Absolutely.
So if I said, listen, just by my intelligence, because

(09:42):
I said they're gonna have at least one star Pitcher
on Monday. So I'm like an insider giving you that information,
and all I'm using is my own intelligence, and listen,
I'm having a pretty good two knock wood with predicting
the future. So here's the thing. Now, if John Hayman
can tweet out Aaron Judges a giant, people go crazy.
He gets the attention, he gets the clicks, he gets
whatever he wants. Oh then I'm wrong and people still

(10:04):
talk about the guy. Why can't I just be an insider.
I can pretend I have sources and I can get
stuff right like sixty percent of the time, and then
if I get it wrong, oh well people still Hey.
Jason Smith said this. Jason Smith said this, And if
I'm right over half the time, that's all I need. Right,
does anybody really? But but Jason, like we just did

(10:25):
a point where why is anybody listening to anything, Hayman
says anymore? What doesn't matter. It's throwing stuff up against
the wall several years. Wow, I don't know about the jail.
You're you're you're the only one that's you're the only
one that's buying that that that went everywhere And I'm
sitting there going, okay, it made me hold on And

(10:49):
I mean the Arson judge was funny, but it just
goes through and once it gets denied, I'm like, all right.
Add that to another one in his column of ah, no,
I was wrong, right, So because he's got a ton
of yeah, you might like, why can't I do that?
Because I'm right. Listen, go into their days where hey,
insiders need to be right, because you've seen guys are

(11:10):
wrong and they bounced back from it. Right, how many
things was Adam Schefter you had like a streak of
like being wrong and like things. And to Shaun Watson,
apologist's and he's still a big insay, he's still one
of the biggest insiders in sports. And still I mean,
why can't I do that? I did out right tweet.
I could just say quote sources, that's what confirmed and

(11:33):
if I did that right, If I did that, I
could sit back and go Okay, Now I just have
to hope it happens, and then it happens like I
had it before everybody else. And if it doesn't, oh well,
I still get the attention. Some people hate me, but
it doesn't matter. Hey, I'm still I'm still out there
as an insider, and I'm I'm hey. Now suddenly I
got I got a whole new Uh. I got a

(11:54):
whole new work thing that I can do. I got
a whole new career path as an insider because I
just gotta right sixty some percent of the time. And
I could. I could do that all right, if I
take the l On Aeron Judge, which I really don't
think he's going back to the Yanke. He's not after
today and they were scared out of their minds. Uh.
I just have to be right sick, like I said,
sixty something. So if I'm right for Aaron Judge and
then I'm right on my next one, then I can

(12:15):
be wrong in the next one after that. I'm okay
with that. Why can't I do that? Why can't I
do that and be an insider? Why not I don't
know how much our bosses would like that, but hey,
you know, you'd get some attention, we'd get some clicks,
some attention, and in the end, people that hate you
probably already do. No, I'm just saying if you were wrong.

(12:36):
I mean, they probably have lined up on that side
already because of the Jets or the Mets, or the
Knicks or or um. Maybe they disagreed with some of
your movie takes. I don't know, but but there's they're
lined up there, and I mean maybe you can get
them to cross over, especially if you're making a team

(12:57):
that's on the periphery uh more rell event. I don't know.
I think that could be fun. Yeah, why not? There
is one problem though, well, oh there's a problem. I
think problem. You could be the biggest MLB insider that
you want to be, But there is one thing. Okay,
what's that. You gotta stop paying the eight dollars for
your blue check mark. Why did that? First of all,

(13:21):
I don't pay for it. People people just put and
you're all good, Why does that matter? I am an
in insider And then put hashtag allegedly at the end
of everything. See and here's the best part of it.
I don't need to be just a baseball and so
I could be an NFL inside, an NBA insider, the
Super Bowl stop, I got it, Well, that's not insider,

(13:42):
you know me say you know? How about how about
me saying a month ago, you know what, Zack Wilson
is going to be replaced by Mike White. Sometimes not
hard to say he stinks And I was right, and
I was right, Hey, I have it on. I could
just say I have it on good authority. Mike White's
gonna take over some time in the next on for Meanwhile,
my own level of intelligence, I know what's going to

(14:02):
happen because seeing how things are going with the Jets,
and then it had people think, oh he's talking to
something rot at the bottom of the subway in New
York City could say that, hey, I'm still working to
win that TSAR job. Really well, I want I want
to be the rats are and a national radio host.
You want to talk about two massive jobs doing the

(14:24):
good work of the people. I could do the man
I like I said, I'm having a great I'm having
a great so just over sixty percent of the time,
and people will still flock to me for things it's
awesome over sixty percent of the time. It works in
every time. Be sure to catch live editions of The

a big NFL story, I want to Alex tishert are
you fully recovered from Japan's loss in the World Cup?
And I know you're all in on Morocco because you
read today that they won, so you could potentially win
our pool here at Fox Sports Radio. So first off,

(15:29):
Jason Hio, it's nice to talk to you guys. No,
but I will never recover from Japan utterly letting me
down from their one iconic moment of taking the World
Cup by storm and winning their first ever national title.
I will never recover from that. Justin stop it and Okay,
so it's not a national title, it's it wouldn't be
for them. It's the first national title you've ever won
for a national team. What do you mean? We? Okay?

(15:49):
We yeah, I'm part of Japan, Jason, what would you
know about a national title? Syracuse one one in two thousand?
When yeah, come on, man, with mean it doesn't count.
At this point, everybody just kind of shrugs and goes, yeah, okay, Jason,
But you want to know the craziest part I had.
I was not even curious or even cared about the

(16:10):
Morocco and Spain game. I thought they were gonna lose
twenty to one. Did you just say Morocco? You say
who um Morocco Morocco harmony, we're fighting over who got
to say Don Morocco's name, Don the Rock Morocco. Yes.
I literally walked through here, people are like, hey, how's

(16:31):
your pool looking. I was like, probably terrible because they lost,
Like dude, they want I was like, you're all kidding me,
there's no way, and everybody's like no, they want the
penalty kicks. I was like, no, it's Japan lots and
penalty kicks. Stop bringing it up. No when and Harmon,
I didn't, I didn't tell you this. So tie Shirt
on the weekend after the United States lost the Netherlands
sends me a text of a of an orange Elmo
demit like you know, hey, yeah, because he's got Netherlands

(16:53):
in the pool. And I said to him, so did
you just wake up and find out the Netherlands? One?
I did? I did? I turned out I saw that
the United the States? It was who said that? What

(17:14):
are you talking about? Frostberg? That's that's another show if
you hit the snooze button. I mean, this is one
where you just say, hey, you know what. I took
out take it on the chin for that one that
I got wrong. I hate to say, but that was
one that if you woke up and you hit the
snooze button once, you were screwed because it was do nothing.

(17:34):
I'm going back to sleep now, I'm going But that's okay.
I can I can get a prediction like that wrong
when I'm right about everything else, When I'm right about
justin verlander an, I don't need to You're just what
did Justin Verlander do to you? Man? What happened? Why
are you so anti Verlind I'm trying to help you here.
Not to get so excited when the guy disappoints you

(17:55):
like crazy. Listen, I'll be excited until he trips on
the on the rug in his hotel in the middle
of June and is out for a junior Junia, because
that's that's usually when it falls apart for the Mets,
is in June. You usually June, April and May are
usually really good June Junics when things get This year
was parks of seasons. He's He's had a lot of hope,

(18:18):
and I've always had to try to be the voice
of caution and reason for him, to to keep him
from getting too overheated. Because as the summer months heat up, uh,
they melt down for for Jason. That that is a
yearly right of passage. You gotta run your mouth while
you can, gotta do while you can. Uh. Now, this

(18:39):
big story out of the NFL today. One day ago,
Baker Mayfield was looking for his next opportunity. I wonder
if he knew that this was going to come today.
The Rams put in a waiver claim for Baker Mayfield,
and potentially he could start Thursday night because of all
the issues they have a quarterback with Matthew Stafford being

(19:00):
on I R. John Wolford is dinged up and he
is hurt. So they went out and they signed Baker Mayfield.
For everybody who thought, oh the Niners, No, the Niners
did not even put in a waiver claim for Mayfield.
Will have more than Niners coming up later on. But
why would the Rams do this? Right, why do you
go to Baker may What are you doing? What? Why
do you want Baker Mayfield? Your season's over. I'll tell

(19:24):
you exactly why the Rams went out and got Baker Mayfield.
This is the Rams trying to stand up and say
we know how to do things. We're gonna see if
we can get our next quarterback like this, because there's
no reason to get Baker Mayfield for this. Your season
is done, right, it's it's over. Yes, you need a
healthy quarterback to put out there, but you you have

(19:45):
a couple of guys you could put out there that
have seen the playbook. But they've already said we're trying
to get in the playbooks. We can study. On the
plane to Los Angeles. He could play on Thursday Night.
This is not about this season. The Rams are trying
to keep this quote dynasty going him and and look,
we told you a few weeks ago. That's the big question.
It's not about this year for the Rams. This year
is done? Is the dynasty over quarterback is a big

(20:08):
deal for them. They went out and got Matthew Stafford
when he was thirty three years old and they won
the Super Bowl. They're thinking right now, why not see
if we can make it work with Baker Mayfield. Because
if Matthew Stafford has done, if Matthew Stafford can't throw anymore,
his contract is really bad if he can't throw, if
he's not the same guy, we need another quarterback. Where
are we gonna get that quarterback? Yeah, we'll take somebody

(20:30):
in the draft that may take a little while to
develop him. Where else are we gonna go for a
quarterback to try to keep this thing going? We're gonna
go get a guy who was a former number one
overall pick who showed signs of playing well for a
couple of years, but still never really took the bull
by the horns, flamed out in his second team. We're
gonna go get him. We're gonna immerse him in our

(20:51):
culture for well over a year. He's in with us
now in December, He's got the whole rest of this
season offseason to worry about the playbook and worry out
learning everything, learning our personnel. And then you get into
next year and you're the backup quarterback with the Rams,
and Baker Mayfield knows this is my last shot. I'm
now in a situation with an offensive coach that allegedly

(21:13):
believes in me because they're gonna try to restart my career.
And if it comes to it, Baker Mayfield may wind
up being found money for the Rams. Hey, he ascends
to be their starting quarterback when he's twenty eight years old,
and that's young for a guy like Baker Mayfield, who
would have four or five years after that. If he
winds up turning into a good quarterback. Now, the whole
thing is they got to turn him into a good quarterback.

(21:35):
But it's a good gamble for the Rams because where
else are they gonna get somebody? Right, They're not They're
not gonna go get Jimmy Garoppolo. They're not gonna be
able to draft somebody high in the first round. It's
not gonna happen. Where else are they gonna get somebody?
Here's a curiosity, and let's see if this can wind
up happening. Trust me, they got Baker Mayfield just in case.
Maybe he could be their quarterback long term, worst case scenario.

(21:56):
They get a quarterback with a lot of starting experience.
Who's their back up? So if something happens to Matthew Stafford,
hey guess what, Baker Mayfield is gonna be our backup
and he can go in and maybe win some games
and keep us afloat. It's a lose lose situation. It's
a win win situation for the Rams and for Baker Mayfield.
It's the biggest life preserver he could possibly get. This
is now, you're out of work for a bleeping day.

(22:18):
Come here, learn our culture, and maybe you can wind
up starting at some point. It's what he should have
done last year when I said he should have gone
to Tampa back up Tom Brady for a year. Now
he's in a situation where maybe he starts a little bit,
but it's still Matthew Stafford's gig. But learn the playbook.
Play well, there's no there's no time constraint on this.
You don't have to be up to speed in a week,
which is what's screwed him with Carolina. No, no, you

(22:39):
have time, time, time. Whatever you do this year is
just a bonus because we stink this about getting you
some experience and maybe we have our quarterback situation figured out,
because boy, we got nothing behind Matthew Stafford. It's a
great Now, whether it turns out or not, that's a
different conversation. But the Rams got Baker Mayfield potentially to
be their quarterback in the future as we go down
the line of where he's been dysfunction and dysfunction. Uh,

(23:01):
you looked at the roster for Cleveland was strong during
the playoff run, but did you trust the front office
long term? Probably not um And we'll we'll see what
the next iteration is now that Deshaun Watson his back
was awful in Week one returning from his suspension, but

(23:23):
they cruised to a win anyway. So what we'll see
how that that roles going forward. Carolina was a disaster
right just at every turn, even with a couple of
stars at running back and receiver. Now you go to
the Rams, who when we look at the receiving corps
obviously cut done for the year, and you don't have

(23:44):
much in your passing game at all. Van Jefferson. Everybody
keeps trying to tell you how great is He's a three. Okay,
that's that's where we're at. He's a three. Tyler Higbee
gets on the radar now and again in cam Acres,
now that Darryl hen person's gone, and they said, did
your job showing a little bit of life. So you've

(24:05):
got something there. But the offensive line is trash and shuffles.
Every week. It's like guys are given, uh, random envelopes
with numbers. All right, that's the position you're gonna play
this week. Let's see what we do. But Sean McVeigh
trying to prove he's the wizard and that he can
fix him, and maybe Baker's humbled by all of this.

(24:26):
I don't know. I don't pretend to know the man.
So anybody that's still saying he's the cocky guy that
used to go back and forth with the reporters, we
haven't seen that in a while. So whether it's uh,
he hasn't had the opportunity to do so, has decided
not to. Whatever the case is coming to the Rams.

(24:46):
You've got the lifeline to go get your career back.
They get to watch you, watch your work habits, get
you in the meeting rooms and see if it makes
that even if it doesn't really work on the field.
That's the other part of adjason. You don't want to
be disastrous, but you don't have to be a world
beat or either because the expectations aren't there. With the

(25:06):
squad that assembled, it's a build because you're gonna see
all new personnel for for the Rams, they have to
shuffle out a lot of those component parts because they're
not producing. Allen Robinson was what invisible from most of
the season before he got hurt. So you know, what
are you what are you doing there? And what what's
it look like in the receiving corps and how you

(25:28):
retool the offensive Line'm gonna be curious because they don't
have a lot of picks. But you've got uh shuffling
of money and maybe you can help rebuild around. But
for a one point was at one point three five
million or thereabouts, it's worth kicking the curb and seeing
what you got. I mean what it's it's really it's
it's it's found money. It's if it works out, great,

(25:50):
If it doesn't, it doesn't. And in the end, yeah,
I mean, what what does it matter. It's it's a
great gamble for the Rams to take, and I confidence
that they'll do it more correctly. Then we've gotten Carolina
than we got in Cleveland because Carolina just ridiculously. To
look at the swagger he's got. We gotta give him

(26:12):
the job, dude, let him learn the playbook. Now, let's
let's give him the job right away. And now, the
entire season was a mess, so the Rams are gonna
wind up doing it right. They may put him out
there because there's no choice. They just don't have another
healthy quarterback, So hey, why not. Whatever experience he gets,
it's great. It's it's it's not like if he plays badly,
play not. Let him get in there, and whenever he
winds up playing, whatever he plays, he plays, and we

(26:34):
go into next season and the more experience he gets,
it's not a big deal. If he becomes our starting
quarterback a years old, it's absolutely fine because we know
he's got Because that's all they're doing is going back
to the grade they had on him coming out. Boy,
this guy was a top five, top six pick. Now
we'll get him into our system and and turn him
into something good. It's a it's a great gamble. Now

(26:55):
do I think Baker Mayfield's any good? No, I don't
he's not. But but why was this done? Why did
the Rams do this? They did this for Baker Mayfiel
to potentially take over from Matthew Stafford. Just think about that. Well,
I mean Stafford went went down with the injury, right,
We had the elbow before the season, and then you
started seeing the word spine in the reports before he

(27:16):
was shut down. So what does that mean? Long term?
Older guy absorbed a lot of hits this year, absorbed
a lot of hits as a member of the Lions
for all those years. We know that. So it's a
situation where you take your shot, low cost to him. Obviously,
if Stafford isn't there, then you still have dead cap
that you have to talk about. But I don't know.

(27:38):
I think it's it's McVeigh trying to flex and show
that he can rehab a guy uh and and bring
back that guy that was a number one pick. Be

in Mike harm and Live from the tire Wrack dot
Com studios. And uh, pretty interesting thing happened today with
Sean Payton. He said, I want to get back in
the NFL sooner rather than later. He went on the
Tom Brady Let's Go podcast, which ty Shoot is very

(28:20):
upset because he can't use Let's Go as his podcast.
Um so he goes and Let's Go podcast and has
asked about his future and he says, yeah, you know,
I love doing what I'm doing. I love doing TV,
but I really want to get back in the NFL
and sooner rather than later. Uh. Here's the thing we
talked about Tom Brady last night, and how does this

(28:43):
look like the end? If he's playing for his NFL
life and if he doesn't play better in the next
few weeks, forget it. No one is going to sign
him in the off season, and no one's gonna say, hey, Tom,
here's a two or three year deal. Hey, you know,
maybe it's a one year deal and we're still gonna
draft somebody. He's not gonna do that. There might not

(29:04):
be a market for Brady and he may have no
choice but to retire and go to the broadcast booth
at Fox. So now you get this last night with
Sean Payton. If Tom Brady is smart, this should be
his strategy. Right. We already know there was a potential

(29:26):
of them getting to Miami together right where Miami wanted
Sean Payton his coach, and Brady was gonna be the quarterback.
Then he was gonna buy part of the team. Whateveryone's
gonna happen. So you even Ross Scott suspended. Yes, yeah,
there there was gonna be some kind of conferention. Hey,
there's been some kind of Hey, we could work well together,
Sean Payton, Tom Brady before things changed too much. If

(29:49):
I'm Brady, I attached myself to Sean Payton because you
know what I can tell you right now, if you
had to say, who's gonna be more sought after in
the off season, Sean Payton way more sought after than
Tom Brady. If Peyton comes in and says Brady and
I are a package deal, okay, then do you want
Sean Payton, then you gotta take Tom Brady. You have
a better chance of making it working. Brady's got a

(30:10):
better chance of playing if he's sinked up with with
Sean Payton. So if I'm Brady, I sink myself up
there and I say, hey, we're coming in here. Yes
we want to do We were gonna do it Miami.
Now we're not. Because Miami's got a good head coach.
They got to Uh, they're gonna go forward with what
they're at right now. Hey, we're a package deal. Maybe
they go back to New England and tell Bob Kraft
we're coming back in your booting Belichick out, We're coming

(30:32):
in right now. It's me and Sean Payton. Get rid
of that guy. We're coming in. But I'm planning a
flag now. Remember I actually brought up the Brady returning
to New England. We were talking about it that Belichick
would probably have to go if that was going to
happen when we discussed this a couple of weeks ago.
After that report, uh that came out about Brady potentially

(30:53):
going back, but pairing him up with Sean Payton it works.
Now the Saints will have a lot to say about
it because Peyton still under contract through so there's gotta
be some compensatory uh discussions and picks and moneys and
all of those things to be worked out. So I
would suspect they would much rather see him in the

(31:15):
a f C or to come in and replace Dennis
Allen after that atrocious effort against Tom Brady on Monday
Night football. See how it all spins back together. Uh
as you you flow through and well the Saints might
be able to use a quarterback as well. Maybe it
just goes back to New Orleans. All right, it took
a sabbatical down back. Let's take over the Bayou, right

(31:36):
and Brady with Chrysal Lava and Alvin Kamara. Yeah, you
can see that work in, can't you. Oh sure? Right,
You're not taking over for a legend. You're taking over
for a guy who took over forty You're you're taking
over for Andy Talton. Yeah, demand with the most. He's

(31:58):
got a worse Monday Night eight record than Kirk Cousins does.
Andy Dalton would say, hey, look I know that, uh
we signed Tom Brady, but you still promised me I
was a number one quarterback, so I'm gonna stay the
number one quarter But no, no, no, that was probably no.
That was the Bears Instagram account. No no, no, no,
Dennis no no, And that was also Dennis Allen. I said,

(32:18):
what do you what do you tell him to keep doing?
I'll just keep doing what you're doing. But he had
two picks. I was promised to be the started question.
I'm sorry, Tom Brady, but your number two because I
was promised to be the number one. Meanwhile, Jamis is
still doing jumping Jackson. I'm healthy, I promise, I'm ready
to go. Why won't you let me play? But just

(32:39):
think about that for Brady, if that's got that might
be his best way back into the league as long
as Sean Payton is okay with all right, yeah, me
and Tom are coming back in here. And then when
Tom leaves, I'm staying. Look, you know Dallas is where
Sean Payton wants to go. There's gonna he's gonna get
to go anywhere he wants to that needs a head coach.
They're gonna call and say, please come here, fix our quarterback,
fix our team, and and and we need you. But

(33:02):
if if there's the case of hey, they look, they
talked about teaming up in Miami because you know, things
went down the road of hey, Shawn's here, I'm here. Okay, Um, yeah,
that could happen. If I'm Brady, I stay real close
and say, you're the guy that's gonna bring me the
rest of my NFL career. You're the guy that's gonna
bring me a two year deal to be a quarterback
someplace else and we're gonna go someplace and go win
and go do it. You're gonna be the guy to

(33:24):
do that with me. That's the thing. He's got to
do what he got Frost, But I thought he was
fighting though he is. But now we know that if
Sean Payton wants, he's getting a two years podcast if
he if he teams up with Sean Payton, and Sean
Payton says, it's me and Brady, No, we just want you.
It's me and Brady. It's me and Brady. Well, as
we argued last night, I I'm I'm not you know,

(33:47):
in lockstep with with Smith on this one. I still
think he's better than many quarters in the NFL, whether
it's the Niners, whether it's the Patriots or you know,
a mystery team. See what I did there, Well, it
could be the Jets, but the White Sox, the White
sox could be you know what, blank you but the

(34:09):
idea that he's done, I I certainly don't see it.
There's a number of NFL quarterbacks you'd rather have Tom Brady,
if only for a year. Uh then the drag you're
putting out right now. Yeah, but remember you're there three
or four teams. You're gonna get guys in the draft.
A lot of teams are gonna say we're gonna stick
with this guy. Geno Smith may be more sought after

(34:30):
than Tom Brady in the off season. Think about that, man,
But franchise tagging. Why would Sean Payton go with a
guy that's washed up? Because it makes no sense. They
have talked about it. Maybe he doesn't think it was
that was that was before. I know, that's why. If
but if you're Brady, you have to make sure you
get you stayed very very close to him. That's why
it's on Brady Stick club. Wherever Peyton goes, you go. Man.

(34:53):
You make home team too with him if you need to.
You never know what the future looks like, Brady said.
