Speaker 2 (00:23):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Jason couldn't be here this hour. The Lakers are winning.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
He is a little sullen at halftime, and in interest
of making the NBA playoffs more interesting, Adam Silver has
declared this a fifty eight to fifty seven Lakers win
one one. Going back to the crypt for Game three,
decided to tap out. Everybody was too mad at the officials. Fine,
you guys, can't play anymore game taking the court away.
(00:55):
Game three will be scheduled for whenever Luka Doncic can
come back. There's gonna be We're gonna have some days
off here. Just so you understand, that would be an
interesting twist in all of these professional sports. If you're
missing your first or second player, to say, you know what,
he just needs another day or two, Well, we want
the best on the court, on the field, on the whatever. Yeah, okay,
(01:17):
maybe maybe each team get gets to one time during
the playoff. Hey we need an extra day. You get
to shoot that guy up. Hey, you know what I
need to move that meeting to tomorrow. I mean, you
do it for your top in any organization. I'm with
you there for you your boot and rally kind of thing.
When you were talking about last hour when you were
working at the grocery store. But if you're you know,
big meeting and a big presentation, that's worth you know,
(01:40):
it's it's the salvation of one or more companies or
or divisions or whatever. It's like, you know what I
need another day, You're probably gonna get that other day. Likewise, here,
maybe that becomes a new thing. Hey, television partners, you're
burying us anyway, So let's figure out a new angle.
A three from ruiy Hachama has given the Lakers a six,
one fifty nine lead. Again, we just tipped off the
(02:02):
third quarter, just over eleven minutes left to go. Why
is this game so close? It felt like it was
gonna be in Oklahoma City runaway. Welcome to the NBA Playoffs.
Austin Reeves. Austin Reeves in the first half thirteen points,
five out of nine from the floor, one out of
two from three point range. He's got four assists. This
is why. Look, Lebron is playing well. Like across the board,
(02:24):
he's playing pretty well. Hotchinmore is hitting a few shots now,
he's now four for five from three point range. But
here's Austin Reeves who they needed to be, Austin Reeves.
And now that's why this game is close. Congratulations, welcome
to the playoffs. No, I mean it'd be nice if
they had Jalen Williams back to the other Jalen Williams. Sure, sure,
you know, the really good one. Yeah, would help, But
you know you mentioned Austin Reeves. I mean, look, we've
(02:46):
also got an appearance of Luke Kennard. Yeah right, Joie,
We've talked about him a bunch. Thirteen minutes. Again, he's
three of four from the field, couple of three point shots,
eight points. Jackson Hayes giving him some minutes off the bench,
so little bit of bench and extending that rotation for
JJ Reddick here early success in the second game of
the series. So we'll keep you updated on this. Of course,
(03:09):
this is a huge basically again a winner, go home
game for the Lakers. They can continue this series and
hope and pray that Luca comes back at some point.
But this a big, big game right now again early
in the third quarter, plenty of time left to go.
But I did see that there was an imbalance in
the force in terms of the betting market, that there
were more bets right on the Lakers, right to the bets,
(03:32):
Right to the bets. You went, we plus fifteen and
a half, where the money is right, where the money
is to be made, bet on the Lakers, straight to
the bets. Okay, I'm informing and educating America, trying to
tell them where the consensus is that if you play it,
but if you play it in your mind of plus
fifteen and a half, the Lakers are killing. Okay, Hey,
(03:54):
there you go. No, I'm Gla'm glad. It depends on
which perspective you're looking from. It depends on one where
you put the money losses or does the plus fifteen
and a half have some extra special meaning to you?
Speaker 3 (04:07):
You're happy or you're now Jason started talking about Austin
Reeves and.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Now he's hurt. Yeah, all I did way to go.
Austin Reeves was playing great. He's on holding his arm.
We've seen this though from Reeves in the playoffs. Get it.
He's down for then he's okay, getting back up again.
He is on the floor right now, holding his arm.
The officials are going back to look at this to
see if it's going to be a flagrant foul.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
He's gonna get the.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Sixty three sixty one lead. Reeves is up walking around
and it looks like he is okay. He gets tangled up.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Absolutely dirty play by Shaye got a dirty play. They
get tag dirty player.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah. I think that's one of those where I think,
if you're Austin Reeves, he's going to be kicked out
of the NBA.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
I mean, did you just see what he did?
Speaker 1 (04:53):
They're gonna strip him to that second. Tell me what
did you see SGA do on that play? What did
you see him do? I can't even tell the public.
Two guys got tangled up and Austin Reeves went down.
It's being reviewed.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
He just went down, Yeah, it was it a hostile
act went down.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
He went No, I know the thunder or chat actually
the thunder or challenging this right now for a foul call.
So we'll see they went to a commercial break. We'll
see what I was, my boy, I'll tell you whatever
it was, whatever it wasn't happened, which was hard to
see anything, but Austin Reeves he sold the hell out
of it. Man. Yeah, I think he's sold just through
the energy at him like Dan House and then collapsed down.
(05:35):
He went or that guy wrestling like Jesus. So he
just kind of flips the guy around by pointing at him. Foul.
I'm no, I'm saying there was probably a foul. I
don't believe. I think Austin Reeves is gonna be okay,
doesn't rise to the level he's gonna be okay.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Well, does not have to do with the dirtiest play
I've ever seen.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
This happened, absolutely filthy in the eyes and mind of
Justin Frost. If you could tell me what it was,
it was so dirty. But I get it, you can't.
You you don't want to put it on. I understand
you're looking out for the kids. You're looking out for
the kids that are and I think that I think
that's good. Yeah, but well, yeah, my dad would want
to hear something like that, though my dad he would
just say, no, give me the details. You give me
(06:15):
the details on it. Of course, my dad sometimes he said,
he'll say to me, hey, you talked about this video
the other night, and I was trying to find that.
I go, why didn't you say it? Like, well, Dad,
it's a video. It's a you know, it's a video
that we just allude to that you go find it
if you want to. Yeah, but I couldn't find it.
I'm like, Dad, Dad, I'm not gonna I can't tell
you where to find videos like that. You're gonna go
find it on your own if you want it. Then
I get a little upset, going, my dad really wants
(06:37):
to see that video, Okay, you know, I'm just it's
gonna think about and then he ends up. Now you
have no money, my dad went for the will if
my dad, my dad could make money on only fans
because everybody can, because you know, I'm watching Uh what's
her name? Needs a lot of money. Margot has money
troubles and apparently show right, anybody can. Like my dad
could just be barefoot on OnlyFans talking about the Yankees,
(07:00):
and he'd make so much money. He'd make so much money.
I really do think that, you know, for the show,
we should test that hypothesis. Now you know what I'm
gonnaing for you guys, once I'll find a way to
do it. My dad, I don't know, if you know,
my dad has the biggest thumbs and and big in
the world. Yes, you know, if you saw my dad's thumb,
(07:21):
my dad's thumbnail from one side to the other is
like three inches. That's how big. That's how wide? How
big my dad's thumbnail. So what you're saying is a
percentage out there. The thing is, I could get on
board Walt w O F Walt onlys. But but then
you look at his toenails, his his his big toe.
(07:43):
You go, that's like four inches from from side to side.
And it's not like he's got overly large hands or feet.
It's just the width of his thumbnail and his and
his big toe is like you.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Seee, my goodness, man, it might be.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
You know, I was gonna ask if he was in
some kind of experimentation NCU or you know the I mean,
you could you other the other DC comics if you
were running out and you had to leave somebody your note,
like you know now you send people a text. But
if like you know, hey, I got to run out,
you leave your wife a note and you have to
write a piece of paper and I'll post it. Like
(08:18):
you could write a note on my dad's thumbnail and
toenail and people would be able to read it. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Watch this play, by the way, Watch it real quick
and you think it's not dirty. Watch him wrench his
arm that it's already been hurt last round. Austin Reeves
is the reason he got a flag. Austin Reeves has this.
Austin Reeves. Sga is looking for the basketball.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
He's looking for the basketball at the top of the key,
and Austin Reeves puts his arm in like he's got
his arm around him from Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet
at the front of the titank sort of yes, or
the the mic vable Diana Rossini pictures that from gone Fishing.
From fishing. Yeah, uh so he does have a his
arm around him to hold him. Sga makes a move
(09:03):
to get the arm out, and the arm wrenches a
little bit. They'll go back, Jason, he completely wrenched, okay,
and Austin Reeves is now shooting technical free throw. So
I think he's okay.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
Thank god.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
It's he's shooting the teas right now that are giving
the Lakers a five point lead. So I think he's okay.
I think he's a reason it's a flagrant one. I
think he drew that dirty pretty good. It's not look
well they said they assessed the technical file to Alex Crusoe.
It would be really dirty if he didn't put his
(09:35):
arm in you know. He put his arm in there
to try to deny the ball and then the move
for for sg A. So's it's not like, you know completely,
Austin Reeves is blameless, inness, But he did what he
wanted supposed to do, got the foul. He's shooting free
throws wherever you want. That's a five point lead. Now
you're good man, How.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Are you not?
Speaker 1 (09:54):
Should have been kicked out? Kick him out of the league,
not even out of the game. That's a dirty out
of the leagu Kick him out of the league again,
he's okay. Austin Reeves overrated player of all time? Wow,
there's a hot take, right there.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Is most overrated player ever, Shay, I.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Don't know about that. I mean maybe the most Maybe
he's a bit well, you know, hey, that means he's
gonna win a silver medal in something. Oh too soon
for that, Canada, Too soon soon, So I got I
have to admit I am surprised the Lakers have kept
it this much of a game so far, but again,
(10:32):
Austin Reeves has played really well. You want to look
at the difference between Game one and Game two. The
Lakers stayed close, but they faded in the third quarter
into the fourth quarter because Austin Reeves couldn't hit anything
at one point one out of ten from the floor.
Why isest Now we're in getting to the middle part
of the third quarter and the Lakers have the lead.
Austin Reeves is playing well. Your stars have to play
like stars. That I mean that. It's it's really that simple.
(10:55):
In the NBA playoffs, Yes, you win championships and you
find ways because your role play, your support guys have
a couple of big games that were unexpected over the
course of a seven game series. That's how you win.
But you don't win if your stars aren't playing big, right,
nobody wins. No, No one says, boy. If you won
that title despite the fact that Jalen Brunson was terrible.
He won that title despite the fact Kake Cunningham was
(11:16):
bad won the tip. No, you don't win that way
your stars. It's almost like a given they have to
play big or you're not going to win. Right, You can't.
You can't win a championship if it's just your stars
playing well. But you can lose it very easily. And
Austin Reeves tonight having a big night, looks much more confident,
looks the best he's been so far since he's come
back from his injury. And the Lakers have a two
(11:37):
point lead getting the midway part of the third quarter,
and Reeves has eighteen points to lead the Lakers. Well,
he's hot or cold? Right, So the three games back,
the last between last series and this bad game, solid game,
terrible game. Now we get Tonight six of ten from
the field in his twenty three minutes, giving you twenty
one points, Canard and Hayes with their fourteen off the bench.
(12:00):
But look, if you want Max money, you you can't
emulate James Harden at this point. Isn't Max money somewhere
like like is that there's a lot of Max months
the multiple Like there's four Max in Major League baseball. No, No,
But and there was Max Power. Homer was Max Power,
Max Power Money. Max Money has to be somebody's name somewhere,
(12:21):
like either someone giving stock advice or if not, I
will become Max Money starting tomorrow, an adult film actor
or something like. There's got to be somebody named Max Money.
Right like this there is, Uh, let's see, there's just
one two x or three xes, doesn't matter. Well, you're
then you're the adult film actor if you have three exes.
But like Max with one x two X is like
(12:43):
Max Crosby. If you're Max Money, Okay, I become a wrestler,
got to have that, Ye, Max Money is a grea
wrestler name too. You do anything. I wonder Guys that
don't have a great name like that can't do all
three of those things. I'm an adult film actor, I
am giving financial advice, and I'm a wrestler. That was Valvenus, right, Valvenus, Valvenus,
(13:04):
val Venus. There's a different there's a space between val
not Valvenus, like it's a part of the body. No,
I hurt my Valvenus. What happened? But that was the
running gag was the some the music and the towel
around the waist. Someone kicked me when I wasn't looking.
I hurt my valvenus. No, I mean, I don't think
that's the case. Pretty good though. I walked into the
(13:24):
control room, Fruckberg said, here's your stuff about the Lakers,
and he kicked me in the Valvenus. No, I don't
think that we can make that trend hashtag Valvenus, Valvenus, Valvenus.
All right, So that's where we are right now, sixty
nine to sixty eight lead for the Lakers, seven forty
five left to go in the third. Again, Austin Reeve's okay.
After the foul, the thunder challenged it, thunder loose, Lakers
(13:50):
hit free throws, and we have a game right now,
midway through the third quarter. So more NBA on the
way coming up next. Got that big store out of
the NFL promise a story that you think is gonna
go away, But like we told you a week ago,
it just keeps getting bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger and bigger,
and eventually, like Valvenus, somebody's gonna get fired. I'm gonna
(14:12):
kick you in the valvenus. Hey, Now that story's coming
up next right here, Jason and Mike Fox Sports.

link in with that Mother's daycart, the gift that keeps
giving thunder over the Lakers. Right now, seventy five seventy one,
midway through the third quarter. Bre Miro's going to have
more on this. It's what's trending coming up in a
few minutes. But this story that look, this is why
(16:13):
I say ahead of the curve. And it gets me
when all of a sudden today I see so many
people saying what we told you ten days ago on
the Mike Vrabel Diana Rassini story. Today it went viral.
Pictures of Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and former NFL
inside Odana Rassini were captured on a private boat excursion
(16:36):
in June of twenty twenty one, when she was very pregnant.
All right, they were seen walking on a dock before
they entered the vessel they rented privately for two to
three hours in Tennessee. So TMZ has this video and
this gets out now and we said this a week ago,
and well, well I'll tell you again because now it's
(16:56):
clear this is what has to happen. It's not going
to go away. Maybe you want to blame the fact
that we're in a quote dead time for the NFL
because it's after the draft, it's after mini camps where
we're star for NFL news. Sorry, but this is when
it came out. It's not going anywhere. This story is
not going to disappear. It's still being investigated. I know
(17:17):
the Athletic is still looking into it because their reputation's
at stake because Diana Rossini reporting. Did she do anything
that gave Mike Rabel preferential treatment? Did it help the
Titans get free agents like Julio Jones, Like there's still
a lot going on. And when you see these pictures
come out of the two of them on a private
boat excursion, like okay, I mean you're at the point
(17:38):
now are how much more videos of them together? Where
where do you need to see? I understand that they
both wanted to try to think that this is going
to go away. It's not. I get that it's embarrassing
for your family. I get it it is, but you know,
it's more embarrassing seeing this happen every single day. They
need to come out and talk about it. They both
(17:58):
need to because they both going to have to tell
their sides of the story, because number one, that makes
it go away. If they tell their sides to the
story and they say, look, this is what it's been
between us. You understand it's gonna be bad. But what's
worse is continuing to have stuff like this driven drab
out where it's gonna be harder for Diana Rossini to
get a job at some point, and it's gonna be
(18:19):
harder for Mike Abele to keep his because there's only
so much controversy the Patriots will go through before even
the Patriots are gonna say, Okay, we got to do
something right now. Maybe the Patriots are hoping, boy, as
long as we don't get into a situation where it
seems like our coach had favors done for him on
the field wise, when it comes to players getting there,
that coverage helped him land a free agent. As long
(18:40):
as that doesn't come out, we can keep him as
our coach. But now that you're seeing all of this
and Rabel wants to preach being a good leader, being
a teacher, like, how many more of these stories can
come out that the Patriots are gonna say, yeah, we're
okay with I mean, I know they are a team
that has been riddled in controversy for the last twenty
five years. You're going from Spygate to deflate Gate, to
(19:02):
Bob Kraft and what happened with him and now this,
I get it they hate. We're very comfortable living here
because we've lived in it all the way through. But
I don't know how much longer this will happen before
Rabel's job is gonna be at stake and Diana Rassini's
gonna want to talk. She's gonna say, you know what,
I want to get my career back here a little bit.
She's never gonna be an insider again, but could she
do something like be a TV opinionaire being a like
(19:26):
like Denzel Washington likes to call everybody like opinionaires or
someone who drives a personality driven show. Can she be
a talking head on a show during the day like
we see with Stephen A. Smith and hey, congratulations Steven
Ada Skipp Bayless for tomorrow? Like could she do that? Yeah,
she's not gonna no one's gonna trust her to be
an insider again because of this story. But does she
still have a career, Yes, of course she does. She's
(19:46):
gonna want that back at some point, she's gonna want
to talk. And if it comes to both of them,
like now you're at the point where it's like, okay,
whoever talks first, people are gonna believe. And both of
them want to keep their careers. That's why they should
at this point be saying, all right, how do we
do this? Do we do this both together? Do we
do it separately? Do we do press conferences one right
after another? Do we do them at the same time?
(20:07):
How do we do this? Because when you talk about
it and give people less things to say, then it
will go away. Then it's okay, we've gotten down to
rock bottom. Do we still have jobs? And the patriot
will say, okay, after all of this has come out
and you've told your side of the story. Yes, we're
keeping you. No we're not Dana Rasena the same way.
Yes she still as a career. No she doesn't. But
I know neither of them. It's just gonna get worse
(20:28):
and worse. They tried to ignore it and think it
was gonna go away, and they were haughty about it.
And that's again what pisses a lot of people off.
When you're haughty about it and you want to shake
your finger at me when I know there's more there. Hey,
guess what I'm gonna dig for this extra hard to
try to get to other stuff here, and now you're
getting boat videos coming out and videos at bars coming
out and all of these things. They need to address this.
(20:49):
I don't know how they want to do it, but
they need to because publicly you address it, it goes away. Right.
It's like we talked about with the situation with pagebackers
and asy Fudd their relationship. It's our personal business and
we don't want to talk about it. I get it,
but people are still gonna ask questions, be boring, talk
about it and be boring. Don't give them anything to
talk about, and it will go away. Right, Like there's
(21:10):
certain things where that the media will once they get
their teeth into it, they're gonna go after one hundred percent.
And it could be anything, or it could be the
relationship between Page Beckers and Asy fight. It could be this,
it could be something else. Whenever you give them something,
whenever story comes out and you want to hide stuff
or you want to not talk about it, or you
want to be haughty at it like Rabel and Rassini
have been, the media is gonna go after and find
(21:30):
it out. There's an easy way that will get People
won't care about videos whatever they talk about. If they
tell the truth about what everything has been going on
with them, then no one's gonna care about videos anymore.
No one's gonna care about stuff going on. It will
be the end of the story. It will be rock bottom.
And now they dig back out and then you can
see exactly where things stand. Because right now Rabel's on
the road to getting fired, right, Danna, Rassini's on the
(21:52):
road to not working again. Right, this is what's happening
right now. They need to come out publicly and talk
about it because that's going to bring an end to it. Yeah,
there's always anger and entities by which she'll be able
to draw a living, so I'm not terribly worried about
her pockets in all of this. For Verbel, you know,
I like that you said favors on the field and
(22:12):
very key turn of phrase there, because this was so
categorically dismissed by the NFL that that was troubling at
the time, and we talked about it. You can go
back in the archives and find that ad nothing to
see here, personal whatever, well maybe to a degree, and
again whatever's going on in their personal lives. Fine, But
(22:33):
once we start getting into the exchange of information, we
start getting into how you can steer things or maybe
slant coverage to or against another team in the league,
then it becomes a much bigger operation. And as you say,
the dribs and drabs of videos, the extra audio people
going back, right. We always talk about discovery, you and
(22:53):
I when we talk about these court cases, and where
you get a little bit of pragmatism, it goes down
before for the real details can get out. NDA's and
all of that fun stuff. Go back to every lawsuit
that's been filed by players against the league. I can
think of plenty of conversations we had during the Colin
(23:13):
Kaepernick and NFL talk of all right, eventually it gets
squashed because they don't want the rest of it going tada,
what happened? Settlement in this case, the more you evade
a microphone to tell whatever, however many details you want
to do. The Beckers fud thing was an interesting case
because really't you just didn't need it from an organizational mouthpiece.
(23:36):
It was one or the other could say exactly what
they did later on. All right, if it becomes an issue,
we've got it. We're in the locker room. We've worked together. Blah,
it's our business. Okay. Maybe someone will follow up if
they hit a terrible losing slide and they look like
they're not getting along. Hey, she's frozen her out of
the offense. Okay, you might have something like that. But
(23:56):
what we're getting right now in the Russini and Rateful thing,
how much more video is out there? This becomes the end.
And every every little dig at her husband or relationships
or favorable to Vrabel in old interviews, clips and appearances,
those are all surfacing. People are doing their discovery on this,
(24:19):
going back many a year. But it's funny you say
that because I'm gonna say something that I really want
after this video gets out. At this point, this is
what I really wonder. Is this something where now because
we saw the first video, gets out with them in
this in this area of Sedona where not a lot
of people go. Then we get video of them at
(24:39):
a bar from a field. About a week later, video
of them from a bar from a few years ago. Okay,
now a week later we get video of them on
a dock going on a boat ride. Is this people
that are going, oh, hey, remember when I saw Oh
I think that was rape. I think that was Mike Rabel.
(24:59):
I might be to make some money on this. Let
me go back and look and see if it's them,
and I can maybe sell it to TMZ and make
four or five figures right now, is that what it is?
Or or because I've seen drama shows and I've seen
detective shows, and I've seen movies. Is this the same
person that has all of these videos and it's a
(25:20):
long play for whatever purpose, whoever it is, And guess what. Okay,
now it's time for these videos to come out, and
now you're gonna get this one that sells the story,
and then you're gonna get one from a few years ago,
and now the week after, I'm gonna give you another one,
and then I got another one another week, and it's
one person that has it, one person who's got these videos,
(25:41):
because I find it hard to believe that every week,
just when you think the story's got nope, here's another video,
here's another video. I wonder now if it's really the
one person, and BOYD, maybe because I've had coffee and
a lot of caffeine today, but I realize, is it
one person? And I don't know whether you can say
it's someone that was hired where it was a private detective,
whether it was one of their house is what I
don't know. But but I just the way this is now,
(26:03):
I'm going, could it be just one person? And they're
holding on going yeah, nuh, I can keep releasing this
every for whatever reason and whatever goal they want, whatever
they're looking for this at the end, and this is
what you're getting now at this time for whatever reason
or is it TMZ trying to reclaim relevancy and everybody's
(26:23):
a quote journal that TMC has all of this and
they're just gonna roll it out every week. That people
came forward and sold it out. Look, we walk around
in LA Every once in a while we get that,
oh I met this, or you know, you talk about
your stars of the eighties sightings at restaurants and whatever
else like. But for the most part, if I'm downtown,
(26:44):
I probably pass ten people and I don't pay it
any mind whatsoever. We've been doing this long enough. Your
head's down. Maybe you give a nod and whatever. But
for some yeah, maybe maybe there is the hey, I
have that old video, But the timing of the I
don't think that's accidental at all. So it's it's the
one guy or TMZ and Harvey trying trying to still
(27:07):
be the guy. I gotta think though, if it was
if it was someone who didn't have a an agenda
or something in mind, it would it would get out, Hey, yeah,
I sold my video to TMZ or whatever it was.
I got it's coming out like because yeah, look, and
I'll get I'll get attention on social media. I'll get
that like they would not that everybody would do that,
(27:29):
but like one or two people would say, yeah, no,
I had video of them and I gave it to Tim.
I'm telling my story, right, I'm telling my story. I
was here in twenty twenty one, and I mean just
sitting here. I was just having a sandwich on the dock,
and I saw Mike Rabel and Diana Rossini right like
I mean, because look at how far away the video is,
right like, I mean, like you would have to say.
I walked by him in the bait shop and then
(27:51):
I realized it was them, so I went back and
took video when I got outside from them from far away.
Why would I do that? Why? Like, if you see
my Mike Rabel Diana Rassini in a bait shop or
something like, let's say something like that happened, would you
know right away, like this is four or five years ago.
With the average person, No, right away that's Mike Rabel
and a reporter that's not his wife. They would just think, oh,
it's Rabel and his wife. Okay, yeah, say hey, coach,
(28:12):
I got a picture. Yeah sure, or no. But now
it's video from far away on a dock, like I
wonder if this is the same entity that's had all
and there's more pictures coming for whatever whatever it is,
whatever the purpose is at the end, if it's embarrassment,
if it's money, if it's a whatever it is it's
one person that's got allway? Is it the long play
by Woody Johnson and the Jets to finally take down
(28:33):
the Patriots in division?
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Wow? Wow? Wow? Why would you wait until now? Though?
I mean why would you? I mean wouldn't. I just
wanted to see your face just as you're there with
your tied dide. I mean don't. I don't think any
and I don't think any Jets people turned in Bob Kraft.
I don't think that was the game. That was it
that for a while had some potential other other things
going on in that investigation. I mean, wow, maybe it is.
(29:00):
We're gonna find out it's all Jets, Jets players and
coaches of years past. Adam Gaze had the video from
four years ago. Adam Gase. I mean that wouldn't be
Adam gasee uh yeah. He made headlines for all the
wrong reasons last week. So uh, you know, you got
me thinking about that that Maybe because it was Mangini
with spygate, right, but it was the cults with the
(29:21):
flate gate. But maybe it was a phone call from
one of the Jets going hey, uh yeah, yeah, so
you grabbed that football after the interception. Yeah, I think
they were deflated. Who is this? This is Woody Jump,
this is Joe Smith. Click, all right, this is let
me get into that. Wait, let me get into that.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
Who is it?
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Exit out about a Fresca exit swolling down the Jason
Smith Show with my bass friend Mike Harmon. More coming
up in ninety seconds, but first things get a little
loose for the Lakers in Game two against Oklahoma City.
Bree Bureau Live. Bet Brie has the latest on this
and more with what's trending.
Speaker 5 (29:56):
Alrighty guys, Yeah, the thunder on top of the Lakers
down ninety f three to eighty, twenty two seconds left
to go in the third quarter. Austin Reeves leading the
way for LA. He has twenty three points so far.
Lebron James has fourteen points. And on the OKC side,
no Shaik Gilles Alexander right now, because he has four fouls.
One of those was a flagrant foul in Austin Reeves
that was a little questionable. And I'm not even a
(30:17):
Lakers fan. Chet Holmgren has fourteen points and aj Mitchell
has twenty points for Okay. See a little bit earlier today,
the Pistons have won five straight. They took down the
Cavaliers one oh seven to ninety seven. Kate Cunningham had
twenty five points in ten assists. Tobias Harris had twenty
one points and six rebounds. On the losing side, Donovan
Mitchell had thirty one points. James Harden struggled. He was
(30:40):
three of thirteen from the field, had ten points and
two of those points were in the second half. In
the NHL Playoffs, the Hurricanes top the Flyers four to one.
They have taken a three oh series lead. And in
the NFL, the Vikings are signing former forty nine ers
wide receiver Juwan Jennings to a one year deal worth
up to eight million dollars. And in the nc DOUBLEA,
the men and women's basketball selection Committees have approved the
(31:02):
expansion of the NCAA tournaments to seventy six teams starting
next season. And in baseball, the Rays defeat the Red
Sox eight to four for their seventh straight win. The
Cubs have won ninth straight. They take down the Reds
eight to three. The Nationals top the Twin seven to five,
The Marlins edge of the Orioles four to three, and
the Yankees knocked out the Rangers nine to two.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Back to you guys, thanks of on fly Bed Break
Jason Smith Mike Harbon live from the Fox Sports Radio Studio.
I just think about that, man, like one person? How
many more pet I got pictures? For days? Man? You kidding?
I got, I got. I could do this every week.
You do it as an independent act because you have
animus against Vrabel. Maybe he got a touchdown in a
playoff game that you're mad about. Maybe it's another insider
(31:47):
mad at receiving. We said to chip them off the line,
but I'm like, they're not throwing till many through to them.
But all of these things, right, that's the other part
of the other shoe to drop is who is it is?
Is it literally one ed? Is it one of the spouses.
That's always been kind of the theory that you know,
private investigators at different times and renewed based on suspicions
(32:09):
whatever else, But also just the idea of is there
one person that just had it out for one entity
or the other? I really, I really wonder And how
many more pictures do they have? How much can't wait
for them again? I'm going to sleep at night. No, No, no,
I go to sleep. More you say your prayers, yea,
my good little hokmenias.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Please please let there be more pictures and videos of
them tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
No, no, I go to bed going please please please let.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
The next window don't hurt enough from all the clicking.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
Please let the next wind tomorrow. Please. Now I understand
where my priority and videos of these two or the
next win. There is nothing in the world more important
than the Knicks. Right now, I think you're lying there
is nothing more important. I think you enjoy the pictures
and videos of those two more. No, I'm just more.
I'm just more surprised that we keep getting these like wow, okay,
more videos. That's more, because it's what are you talking about, man,
(32:58):
You're you're excited for me. I'm excited about the I'm
excited now because you got me thinking about the Knicks again.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
Nicks, Knicks next Sydney, nothing about the Knicks.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
Yeah you did. You just said what's more excited than
the Knicks are more exciting? I go to bed. You
said it thinking about the Knicks. I didn't. This is it, man,
were in the world of most important stories. Let's see,
there's World Cup ticket buying there's this snafu between Olympic
ticket buying. Uh, we had the NFL Draft. No, the
Knicks are better than anything. Yeah. The crying about dynamic pricing,
just I just laugh at you if you're really crying
(33:27):
about this, and this is they did dynamic pricing. That
means that the calculation for demand was that it costs
you thus lee and if you're not willing to pay it,
watch it on TV end. The story Exit O about
a Fresca exit swollen down The Jason Smith Show with
my base friend Mike Harmon. Coming up next, we got
more from the NBA and appreciation moment for a guy
(33:50):
who was becoming the big superstar this postseason that Tyrese
Halliburton became last postseason. The thing is this guy's better?
Who is that's next? Jason to Mike Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
Just when you thought the Lakers were buried, a seven
oher run punctuated by Lebron James now has nineteen. Oklahoma
City is still with the lead, but now a six
point lead. Ninety five eighty nine. Still nine minutes to
go in the fourth quarter, So Lakers not dead yet. Yeah,
(34:32):
one of the big things pointed out on the telecast,
and certainly the eye test much different energy when Marcus
Smart's on the court. Yeah, and he's been hasn't been
a huge fat He's fourteen points on the game, but
he's plus thirteen and has had a big impact and
you get a little more aggression and activity defensively he'll
(34:53):
pick up to give you a little bit of juice.
I told you going into the fourth quarter. The plus
plus fifteen was the in game lines. So Lebron James
doing everything he can. Hartenstein former Nick now can't close
out on allowing Lebron with the big shot before the timeout.
(35:14):
Go New York, Go New York. So we'll have more
on this game throughout the next few minutes here. Obviously, again,
still a long way to go, nine minutes to go
in the fourth quarter, But earlier tonight, Pistons take a
to nothing to lead to nothing lead over the Cavaliers,
a game that was niptuck for a while. The Pistons
find a way to put it away late and an
(35:34):
appreciation moment for a guy who has become the caid
he was become the Tyres halliburt I just I just
let her out. Kate MC the k McNown Yes, yeah,
who has become the Tyre's Halliburton of this playoff where
last year we knew how good a player Halliburton was,
but really hit that next level. Was he overrated? Was
he not? Look at the way he played. He got
(35:54):
the Pacers all the way within one game of the
NBA Finals that he got hurt. But Halliburton went from
he's a pretty good player too, Wow, he's one of
the league's best. Now it's a shame we didn't get
to see him this year. But Halliburton became the breakout
star of last year's playoff. Kate Cunningham is becoming that
guy this year now. Maybe Kid Cunningham, you could say
(36:14):
it was a little bit more well known coming in.
Eh yeah, I mean they talked at him for MVP
a little bit. It was a big run. But they
were both very similar, and Cunningham is gonna become the
big breakout star guy we didn't really know as much
about on the big national level, like big, big time
NBA fans knew, Hey, here are the Pistons. They're really good.
Cunningham's their best way was the number one overall pick.
(36:36):
I was just like three years ahead for kid Cunningham
as good as he was gonna be. Yeah, but I
mean he was the number one overall pick. And we
can always say, hey, the rest of the draft ain't
great whatever. Yeah, you look at some number one. Yeah,
you look at some guys last couple of years. Being
number one doesn't even mean you're gonna be in the rotation.
I'm not saying it does. But there come with that
some expectations, and with the Pistons, I mean, yeah, to
(37:00):
climb back to at least mediocrity eventually. Right, Cunningham's went
from a guy that most big time NBA fans knew
who he was. At least this year, the average fan
knew who he was, even if you're not as familiar
with his game, because the Pistons weren't on TV as
much as the other teams are. And I get that
you need a while to build up to become a star. Right.
(37:20):
It took Jalen Brunson a couple of years of being
on TV with the Knicks to get to the point
where he is now star it's taken. It's taken wenby
a little bit of time to build up to where
he is now. Okay, he's musty TV, but it's also
a style right, and Pistons are not a style team, No,
But when you're gonna break through, you need a little
of that push behind you. It's big games in the
playoffs and when everybody is watching. And now Cade Cunningham
(37:44):
is becoming that guy. He's the breakout Tyres Halliburton of
the playoffs this year. Except he's a better player than Halliburton.
Halliburton is still at his best, a little too up
and down right, there's a reason the overrated. I think
the mental part of Halliburton's game. He still struggles at
times with well it's not going well for me, I'm
(38:04):
not gonna take my shot. I'm just gonna set my
teammates up. Where Cunningham is a little bit more of
a Just because I'm five out of nineteen doesn't mean
I'm not going to take that next shot and make
it right. You got to have that shooter's mentality of
no matter what's happened before, this next shot is going in.
And I don't get that as much with Halliburton as
I do with Cunningham when things are going great. Halliburton's
(38:24):
a great front runner. You're showing it can help bring
the team back when I have those moments of motivation.
But Cunningham is the more even keel across the board.
I'm the guy. I'll be the one to hit the
big shots. I'll be the one even though the supporting
cast needs to step up a little bit and more
of them in the first round of this series, Cunningham
has more of that, and you've seen it. Even though
he hasn't shot well this playoffs, he is still the
(38:46):
guy making the big plays at the end of games
and getting the Pistons to point where now they've gotten
rid of all their problems and they're two games away
from the Eastern Conference Finals, which is where we thought
they would be. They're there even though Cunningham is still
not playing at the level that we have seen him
play at, and that's some kind of accomplishment achievement to
be able to continue to do that when you're not
(39:06):
shooting your best well. He also remember he missed so
much time and question of how quickly he'd be able
to return because he had the collapse lung. All right,
you have the attempt at the exemption for the rule.
You know of the rules when it came to awards
and all NBA teams and whatever else, saying hey, this
is a significant injury that took him out, and now
(39:27):
it's there. You're just getting him rounded, I think fully,
back into shape and you're seeing what this team is
capable of, as they did go through the regular season
brilliantly right to the number one seed. But there's still
a yes and about this squad again, owing some of it,
owing the style points and saying all right, easy that
(39:48):
guy in crunch time. It helps when James Harden's on
the other Oh what, oh wow, come on, James Harden
didn't deserved. They had ample opportunity to take that game
back in the final three minutes, and the ball kept
ending up in his hand. Okay, It does make you
look better when you can say I'm not him. Yeah, no,
(40:08):
it does, I understand, because that's gonna be a first
ballot Hall of Fame.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
No, no, you're saying I'm not here.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
I'm not that guy. Oh, you're right, you're absolutely right.
Not I get that part of it. An you think
i'd get that logic, but he just smashed together in
two cents like that. Cunningham. Can you want to clap
again like you're trying to kill a bug. Cunningham can
stand on his and I'm just picturing you doing that
for I want that to be a mean the harmy
(40:34):
ply to wind up monkey, cunning Come on, Cunningham doesn't
doesn't need. Cunningham's just fine on his own at this point. Yet. Yes, hey,
comparing him to Harden is great. It makes you look
better handing them on the other side, collapsing helps you. Yeah,
no it you gotta step on someone to that next level.
But just seeing him since the playoffs started, all the
(40:54):
attention because they were down three to one. Who led
them back Cunningham? Who's got them up to zip? Cunning
It that's not like everybody else. You're saying, Oh, look
at these hitting gems with the pistons that are playing great.
It's still they haven't fired on all cylinders and Cunningham
is still leading them to where they are now because
you know what, he's been cool A here you go,
cunning amby like three little fonsis and what's phonsie? He's cool?
(41:17):
Correct A Mundo exit al about a Fresca exit smalling dome.
Jason Smith Mike Harmon live from the Fox Sports Radio
Studios got more on the Thunder and the Lakers coming
up next, as well as a basketball story that everybody loves.
Paying no attention to everybody on social media that says
they hate it. That's next, Jason and Mike Fox
