(00:23):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. It's a lot of
blood and guts in that open. That's a lot of
blood and guts occacently sitting by and watching the carnage,
kind of like this Monday night football game. Oh boy,
Live from the tirerac dot Dog Studios tirect dot com
help you get there, And I'm just selection fans, free shipping,

(00:46):
free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers
tirect dot com the way tire buying should be. They
make sounded like Joe Burrow on that last shack you Abjorgan.
Eventually this game is gonna be over and we can
just put Halloween movies on all the televisions. But two minutes, Clippers,
if Kaua, I ain't playing, I ain't watching. I don't

(01:07):
need to see in February March. Maybe the playoffs is
what it is. St. Patrick's Day. Yeah, yeah, he decides
to look it. Oh, I I will say, because we
we do need to solve this big problem in our
country about getting good games on primetime football. I will say,
if you're gonna have a stinker like this that it

(01:29):
was twenty four nothing, uh, Browns at one point, at
least it's on Halloween. It's okay. Where you had orange
uniforms to look at and people in the stands all
dressed up crazy. At least you had at least you
had that you had. I think they should have had
a split screen for the entire game in the second
half of let's just find people in uniforms and in
different costumes, and we have the game on one half

(01:51):
of the TV and just different people in costumes on people.
That's a man cast. That's how we should How do
we not do that? There's a couple of things you
need to ponder here. The over under was forty five,
and that's where we're sitting. Just uh, we're at the
two minute warning and Cleveland's got the ball deep in
Cincinnati territory. What do you do? What do you do?

(02:15):
You get the first down. And I mean because look,
even if you did one of those things like you
did against the Jets and say you scored the touchdown,
they're not getting four touchdown. No, no, no, no, no,
not happening. No. I don't know that I tempt fate
if I was Cleveland Plate. But the reality is, you know,
the opportunity still is out there for you. So where
we're watching this uh trash and you don't have to Yeah,

(02:37):
you could have. You could have done that. Hey here's
what it looks. You don't need to have commentary on it. Oh.
I like that costume. That's a nice one, hewed. They
showed a bunch of people from screen there costumes. Yeah,
who was the best costume they showed on on Monday
Night Football? What was the best costume the Bengals as
an NFL team? Ha ha, that's a would win. But
you could have had you get a whole bunch. I mean,
they were dressed up as the old Bengals were right

(02:59):
they did. I did like the Bengals tiger stripes on
the pants. That was the best one I've seen so
far to night is the glad black garbage bag trust
as a raider fan that it's been one of my favorites. Right,
So if you went to any of your your big
Halloween superstores, you have the bag with the generic title

(03:20):
and and then there'll be a bunch of attributes underneath
it as to what's in the bag, what's in the box.
And in this case it was Shark or something. I
can promise you there's zero points in that bag because
Shark or something. I will say because I do feel
bad because I really said on Friday, yes, because I

(03:40):
don't like to but I don't like to be wrong
like this, but I said the two teams getting ready
to go on a run in the NFL where the
Raiders in the bag now not to be fair for
popular people, right, Bengal, with Burrow having missed time due
to the appendeck to me questions of the offensive line. Hey,
they're starting to gell this spine Mark Chase, who's a

(04:01):
bad look? Like common link in our guillotine league that
we're in, because this could be what the fifth week
in a row. Then a team goes down that has
picked him up off it's h's something like in this
guillotine like whoever has Jamar Chase? That team gets get chopped.
Its bad. I won't I won't claim him sis, but no,

(04:25):
no chance in hell. But the the idea being that
you had the Bengals and so that one made sense. Schedule, opportunity,
Burrow healed from his surgery back in line, and positivity
with the Raiders. I mean that was the alright schedules there,
And you do have some playmakers, and Jacobs had been fantastic,

(04:45):
and Derek Carr's a jag but sometimes he plays better
than that. Sometimes Davante Adams hit or miss he's He's like,
where's Waldo this year? You might as well create that book.
You find him, Nope, he just hitten by the secondary
or you just missed him. And then Darren Waller unfortunately
is injured. So another one of your top playmakers. Your
offensive line has been trash, and your defense can't get

(05:07):
off the field. Yet your head coach is going into
the front office repeatedly. You know, I got another meeting, man,
I gotta give him my weekly practice schedule again and
all sorts of notes. He's gonna yell at me. Well,
you know me, I like to solve problems because look,
I don't want to dwell on the fact that boy.
I said, the Raiders and the Bengals are going on
runs and and oh my goodness, it's really not happening.

(05:28):
Since I said that, those two teams totaled night. But
you got the Tyler boy, and then you had the
te Higgins, So I mean he's got touchdowns. Hey, look
for fantasy purposes. People were happy to my teams. The
teams I said, we're gonna go on a run, got
outscored fifty. Hey, you know what, it's one week, and
it's it's because that's the other part, right, everybody's down

(05:50):
the coming week and into the beginning of next depending
on how much you want to do it. It's like,
all right, let's do our midseason awards. Where are we at?
And you've got a whole half of the season for
that prediction and Tho's predictions still to sink up and
and have some legitimacy. Well, now you know me trying
to be Joe. It's good and I likeds okay, But

(06:11):
here's the thing. With the trade deadline coming up in
a few hours, I have an idea for a great
trade that helps two teams in a large way away
from the Raiders. I said, we'll do that in a
few minutes. And that's my idea. But now, now, now
we got to do it. Now. I guess I didn't
know that, but you couldn't. You didn't have to guess anything.
You could us at all. Okay, Well, when I said Raiders,

(06:37):
it's enough of no. But now we gotta do it.
So we no, you mentioned it, now we gotta do
it now. Now we gotta talk about you keep saying
now now now don't know about it. Now we're gonna
talk about if you make no no, no, no, no
no no. Look, if this is the deal that needs
to happen for yourself, two teams. Josh Jacobs has been running,

(06:58):
I want a new contract, and I want it now.
You're not going to resign him. If you're the Raiders,
you spent a lot of money and and you're two
and five and you can't get the ball to Davante Adams.
This is the trade, and this is the team that
will take him, and they will give up whatever draft
capital they have left, maybe a second round pick, because
you could probably swing it for him because he's been

(07:19):
that good. But if the Raiders would call the Rams
and say, Josh Jacobs second round pick, the Rams would
jump at it. They have a really small window right
now with their with their team to try to get
back to the Super Bowl, and they are struggling right now.
They're struggling offensively, they're struggling being the defending Super Bowl champions.

(07:40):
They just don't have the juice this team had last year.
So at the trade deadline, you add in some of
that juice. Sometimes that jump starts a team. You added
a guy who's one of the top running backs in
football that's gonna say, Okay, I gotta keep it going
with the with the Rams now because I want a
new deal, and maybe the Rams find a way to
free up some money to sign him long term. You
never know. This is a guy who is the can

(08:01):
be the big difference maker because the Rams have nobody
right they're gonna part ways with cam Akers most likely
in the next few hours, or he's just not gonna
play on the team anymore. You need some kind of weapon,
right and you already have well Cooper Cup, but he's
dinged up. You think he's gonna you just got Jefferson background, No,
go get Josh Jacobs because that's a guy that will
take the pressure off of the passing game. You don't
have to worry about. Let's keep getting weapons from Matthew

(08:22):
Stafford if he's having trouble throwing the football, getting the
ball out to his guys. That's the deal that has
to go down. Josh Jacobs to the Rams probably a
third round pick for most teams, but the Rams are
desperate and they have a very, like I said, a
very small window to win. You say, okay, you give
us a second round pick, second round pick for Josh Jacobs,
And can Sean McVeigh really say no for a guy

(08:43):
who who knows how long you're gonna be around as
a head coach. Is he gonna stay with the team forever?
Is he gonna want to leave in a couple of years.
Is he gonna want a reboot or to get a
fresh start and to take some time off. This is
a team that is in a win now situation, and
so yeah, you can get a little bit more because
they can't afford just let it go all we're the chance,

(09:03):
but we're not really good self. Yeah. Sorry, we just
think no, no, no, If you can go for it,
that's the trade that Scott would add some extra spice
to Week fourteen Thursday night game between the Raiders and
the Rams. Uh in between there, Let's see what do
the Rams have. They've got at Tampa, Arizona, New Orleans
at Kansas City, Seattle at home, and then week fourteen

(09:26):
in Vegas or Vegas here, So you've got three home
games Arizona, Seattle, Vegas. I mean you're not beating Gino. No,
he's unbeatable. Tampa is gonna have a big game, smith Man,
come on, that's it. Yeah, No, that's a tough, tough
sledding right, even with Andy Dalton leaving, leaving the New

(09:48):
Orleans Saints, You're gonna have some opportunities there and we'll
see what they become if they ever forget any of
those receivers back. But they come and they play pretty
well each week. Coin flip as to whether they're actually
winning the game, boy, I think when we and we
we just watched them dust these same Raiders right when

(10:09):
you talk about New Orleans. But for the Rams, I
don't know that it's fixable. I still have some questions
of why the hell Cooper Cup was on the field
or anywhere near it in the final game minutes of
that game on Sunday. But you know that's asked an
answered at this point and hopefully he's okay, uh and
nothing long term. But I don't know that a running
back solves it, right, he won't play offensive line. Matthew

(10:33):
Stafford already was a turnover machine. Now he's in a
mobile injured turnover machine with one weapon. Weapon the running
back I think would help to degree. I think you
need another pass catcher. I don't know if that's you
go on your hands and knees and beg for Odell
Beckham Jr. But I don't. But I don't know how
much that helps as much as hey when now we're

(10:54):
gonna amp up the running game because they always had,
they'd cycle through running backs and and that's always helped.
Not this to go back to the odd girly days.
But now you've given another dimension that teams gotta worry
about because right, don't have anybody got to worry about
it running back, right there's their way out is still
through the air. They're very predictable, but they've also not
made any effort to consistently run the football. They've abandoned

(11:14):
that long everybody are gonna get the football to Eric Dickerson.
He be the best. Hey, hey Frostberg, call Eric Dickerson,
see will come back on the show and see if
he wants to run a little bit something. But if
we can unearth a Jeff Fisher. He said, the Rams
are on their way to seven and nine this season.
There three and four right now, on the way to
seven right now. But he got Henderson averaging three point

(11:38):
nine yards and carry yuck acres at three and whatever
the reality is of that situation. Look, the guy, the
guy can't even pretend to pass block. That's why they
were he was in the doghouse. The quarterback fake. So
he pretends to fake, but legitimately, like how many times
do you see like I'm getting the hell out of
the way, No, because he can always get like, well,

(12:00):
I was doing a bailout where I was gonna give
him an option as a receiver. It's like, no, No,
you made a business decision because there was no way
in hell Stafford was gonna be able to get the
ball out based on the guy rushing through. Malcolm Brown
got hurt, and then you've got just myriad guys that
you've tried to find, uh, you know, end the rounds
and whatever else. So yeah, going and grabbing a running back.

(12:23):
I think it helps to a degree pass catchers at
a premium as well. There for the Rams, they're they're
in a really difficult spot. Tell you they're trade Josh
Jacob's second round pick. Everybody's happening here. They got they
got a second round, a third round. Uh, let's see
a couple of sixth and sevenths. It would appear everything
else has kind of been traded. It's all right, second

(12:44):
round pick for Josh Jacobs. Yes, yes, yes, yes, do
it because you don't ban those what's the team gonna
look like? You're already a blank those picks team? Anyway?
What team gonna look like next year? You have no idea,
You have no idea. Who's gonna be back, Who's not?
Word is ready. Be sure to catch live editions of
The Jason Smith Show with Mike harmon weekdays at ten

(13:05):
pm Eastern, seven pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and
the I Heart Radio app. Whatever you do, don't all asleep. Welcome,
We have been expecting you. Yes, the game was that bad,

(13:28):
The game was that scary. Everybody was an orange its
Halloween was a horrible game that it would appear that
Halloween music ended in the eighties. Yeah, well, you know what.
I was listening to the Halloween channel on on satellite
earlier today and they were the forty best Halloween songs

(13:50):
of all time? Right, Okay, they're in like the top fifteen.
And and that song They're Coming to Take Me Away
one of my favorite from the Dr Demento show, How
was it? That's a novelty song. It's one of the
top fifteen Halloween songs of all No, it's not. It
was you know what. It was kind of fun when
I was a kid, and now I listened to it

(14:10):
and it's a little creepy and it's not really it's
just like a guy singing and there's no production value
to it at all. Like Tysher could come up with
something better than that, like eight minutes. We've seen it
come up with better stuff than that in eight minutes. Yeah,
I I kind of dig that one. I don't know, man,

(14:31):
it was weird. I'm like, there's not there's not there's
not songs, but look for me, I'd love to have
these Hands by the Damned in there. But I'm guessing
that didn't make the top forty. Who the hell said
Halloween can have their own channel. Uh, these are the
hands of cot. They go right from Halloween channel right
to Christmas music that I get to. Christmas is a holiday,

(14:53):
but you can have Halloween music. Why can't you? Why
can't you have Halloween? Man? You can have a channel
for anything. There's a niche audience. You will find them
and they will be loyal. Hey, if you want to listen,
our Arbor Day channel launches later on. Here's a bunch
of songs about groundhogs. I mean, there's plenty of stuff
you can do. No, there is, there is, Uh, it is.

(15:15):
It's it's because it's not really a holiday, but it's
celebratory and it's all of these things. And you know,
I thought there would be better songs. You know how
much fun your kids are having right now? They are
my daughters having a blast right now. Like I said,
my daughter's dressed with a bunch of friends has various
iterations of Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. I feel that's weird.
I don't know that that's a movie that but you

(15:37):
show your kids movies like American Psycho in Midsummer and
I'm like, dude, what are you doing? Man? And see
that I've already seen it segments of it on their
TikTok channel. So why not just sit with dear old dad,
let him ask answer questions about Huey Lewis and the news.
There's and other important things. There's stuff with Midsummer I'll

(15:58):
never unseen in my life. Do you think Fanos kills
him and sticks his leg out of a out of
a garden at the end? Oh boy? Mr Fantastic had
that cued up for the end of the Halloween night,
Mr Fantastic. So yeah, So my daughter's out at um

(16:21):
at a party, which is weird because usually I don't
work Halloween, and it's the first one I've worked in
a decade. It's weird psychologically, you hold, Yeah, we you
know we did today because we had the Browns and
we'll get to that. But you know what we did
was really fun today was when I went to pick
her up from school. I went and we had had
a Michael Myers mask. So I just put on like

(16:44):
a denim shirt and jeans and I got out of
the car. I'm wearing the mask, and I just walked
very deliberately to the area where they they come over
a bridge. Everybody comes over bridge getting out of schools,
all the kids there. So I just went there like
two minutes before the class under the bridge like that
up the old trail, and I just stood there and
I just stood at the end of bridge, not moving

(17:04):
like just and people would walk by and I would
just kind of move my head a little bit at them,
a little bit over and it was really removed because
the kids. The kids are laughing this off this off
school property. So the kids and then Zoe just in
terms of a neighborhood and watch, I would have had
you removed. And Zoe comes All the kids have costumes on,
and Zoe comes up and she looks at me and
I put my hand out like you know, like come

(17:26):
take my hands, and then she comes and holds my
hand and we walked to the car together. People are
watching us, going what the hell is going on? And
I walked across. I actually stopped Middle Street on my
hand out so people wouldn't go stop stop. We going
get in the car. And then we drove home and
I just kept, oh, there's people walking and they roll
the window down. I would just look at them out
the window and they would go. I would scare a

(17:47):
lot of people. It was kind of fun. It was
kind of yeah, it was kind of fun. It's Halloween.
I knew I was working tonight and needed something else
because I wasn't off doing something with my daughter, going
trick or treating, having a party. I don't know if
he pulled it off day. Does him sound like there's
still plenty of time after we're done with the show.
It's bars, don't close to one thirty, maybe coming on.
I'm not taking my daughter to a bar. Trying to

(18:09):
do with your daughter. It's about your entertainments. I'm not
at eleven o'clock at night. I'm not doing It's still
a school day tomorrow. It's I'm not bringing her. You
have a baby in a bar? No, I'm not breaking
Zoe do a How do you know she's not at
a bar? Right? Because if well, the possibility is there? No, no, no, no,
it's how do you know? Now? You know why saying

(18:33):
us to say this something Frostberg that you're gonna get
into because I know where her phone is, so I
know where she left her phone. No, no, you kidding?
If phone? What if she switched phones? Oh if she
said wait, wellt me look an see if she's hanging
out with Kevin Durant, hang On, hang on done, let
me google Zoe Burner phone Ka didn't say that second

(18:56):
verse song. It's a lot better than her hanging out
with man. I can't believe that. I can't believe he's
still on the Nets. That said, dude, you have to
go home for a while. Unbelievable. That was so uncomfortable.
It was so I really, I can't believe he's still played.

(19:17):
Played tonight for the Nets and they won a game finally,
but I can't believe he's still with the team after that,
after doubling down and all the Alex Jones stuff. It's
like he's still playing and the Nets can say, oh,
we disagree with every thing he did, but he's still
playing for you. How is he still playing? How? I
don't I don't understand. I don't get how he's still playing.
It doesn't make any sense. You make your statement, but

(19:37):
you didn't make a stand. I don't uh. The Jason
Smith Show with Mike Harmen Happy Halloween. As now we
can watch all the different Halloween movies because now you know,
the Bengals and the Browns is over, and we'll have
more on that game coming up in a few minutes.
But let me tell you something that's gonna happen, because
I told you how Sunday was going to go. The
Patriots are gonna beat the Jets. They were gonna shut

(19:59):
down the rush attack because no breeze Hall, and they
were gonna make Zach Wilson beat them. And yes, the
Jets make mistakes. Yes, when you have a pick six
that's negated because your defensive lineman decides to late hit
the quarterback on a bed, I'm gonna leap at him
and laid at him. That's inexcusable. But Zach rob I

(20:20):
was totally hit him too hard. Yeah, well, no, you know,
he launched it. He launched himself at Matt John John
Franklin Myers launched himself at Matt Jones. Why do you did? Now?
The other one? The one, the other one. They took
the c J Mosy And I'm like, come on, man, really,
but that one. That's the game. That's seventeen three at halftime.
And sorry, Bill Belichick, good luck trying to run every
single play through mndre Stevens in the second half. No, uh,

(20:42):
that was the game. But Zack Wilson was awful. Right,
he throws three picks. They were all bad and here's
here's here's where I'm at. This has been a systematic
failure with the Jets because they drafted a quarterback with
very specific talents in Zach Wilson, who was a mobile
quarterback with a big arm, and what they decided to

(21:03):
do is, let's put him in a motion style offense
where there's a lot of pre snap motion missdirections, play
action and shoehorn him into this system. And that's not
who he is. So of course he's going to try
to make more plays even when he shouldn't because he's
frustrated because he's game managing. The Jets have been winning

(21:24):
despite him, or just don't make any mistakes. Most teams
we play are running game in Our defense is good
enough because you know what, The Jets are loaded everywhere
but quarterback. They are loaded on defense, they are loaded
on offense. Yes, they had a lot of injuries on
the offensive line, but that this team is ready to win, right,
they are ready to win. Quarterback is their weak point.
And it's a systematic failure for the Jets because they

(21:46):
try to take a quarterback and put him in in
Mike Lafleur system that is not a system conducive to
his talents. But I will tell you this, I don't
care what Robert Sali said we're gonna hear from him today.
I can't. I can't believe that what he said is
actually going to be the truth. For the rest of
the season. Zack is going to continue to get better.
I think he's a lot better than he was a
year ago. Like I've I've told you guys, but um,

(22:09):
he like everyone, I mean, we we can all look
in the mirror and look at the decisions we've all made. Yesterday,
we all took turns, whether it was an advised penalty,
whether a special teams play protection, whatever it was. We've
all got to get better. Zach obviously is the quarterback.
He's got the ball in his hands. He's the most
obvious in terms of being critical on but he's gotten

(22:29):
a lot better. Expecting to continue to get better. Do
I expect it all to be clean? No, Every quarterback
has their days, but um, but he's our quarterback because
we think he's gonna get better and he's going to
continue to prove why he's a number two pick. Salo
went on to say he's our guy for the rest
of the year. There is no way that has happened.
But he also changed the depth chart. There is, yes,

(22:50):
And then that's what I'm getting to is another game
maybe not even that, but another half of football like
that from Zach Wilson where he may an incredibly bad
mistake that gives the game to the pick because all
his mistakes gave the game to the Patriots yesterday. Another
half game like that through and Mike White is the
quarterback because he has built more for this system and

(23:13):
they elevated him to being the number two quarterback, which
means if something happens on game day, Mike White is
the guy, they know what they have. And Joe Flacco
is the emergency number three. But elevating Mike White and
Robert Salo even said, hey, at some point, you want
to see what we have in this guy, because right
you can tell no matter what Robert Salo says about
Zach Wilson, the leash on him is really short because

(23:35):
they are built to win now. They have made trades
to win now. They went out and got Robinson after
Breece Hogan hurt. We believe in this team. We know
we can win. We're as good almost as anybody. They're
not going to tolerate Zach Wilson make a mistake after
a mistake. The Sunday was so bad, another loss against
the Patriots who had beaten them twelve times in a row.
Now it's their team. They are not going to stand

(23:56):
for it. And if that happens again, Zach Wilson takes
a seat. Mike White is the quarterback, and he's gonna
be the quarterback for a little bit. He's gonna play
for a couple of weeks and maybe it's they they say, hey,
it'd be good for Zach to sit and watch, or
they can have some kind of injury designation for him.
But they're gonna make a change because the Jet they can.
That was such an abject failure yesterday by the Jets,

(24:18):
who could have won if they just had okay quarterback play,
they will make a move and that will be the
that will be a huge story. It'll be Mike White.
It'll be Mike White for a while. And if Mike
White is good like it was against the Bengals and
Eagles last year, hey guess what, you got a new quarterback.
Because they don't care who wins. They have gone in
on this season because they have accelerated their uptick they have.

(24:39):
It's no longer about next year. No, Hey, we're good
enough to be a big time playoff team right now.
Zach Wilson will lose his job with another half of
football like he played on Sunday. Yeah, I mean you've
got talent, right, and especially the secondary you've seen come alive.
Your guys saw us getting it done. He got charged
for that touchdown. Again, we can decide whether that was
a an offense to pass interference that wasn't called. But

(25:03):
the that's that's the way it goes down in the books.
Wilson six catches a hundred fifteen yards. Conklin has become
a better than average tight end for them, right, So
you're getting solid play, getting really nothing from the run game.
And that's where you thought, at least Zach Wilson would
scramble a little bit and give me a little bit
of love. He had nothing. Robinson five carries seventeen yards

(25:23):
in his first play, Carter just seven for six. You
don't have that jail break option like you did with
Breece Hall. But last week I characterized it as the
quarterback on the Electric Football Game and where you had
no idea, like start spinning around and just running around
and then you got to do the little flip and
sometimes you do it well, sometimes you know that's where

(25:45):
you're at with him, And it was difficult to listen
to all the post game. Solid did his best to
kind of be as I want to say neutral, probably
not the right word, but to at least still say, hey,
we're not here without Zach and true really trying to
build him up right, saying he's our guy. But you
asked any of the other players like, yeah, no, you

(26:06):
know Zack as a leader where those bad Yeah, those
are terrible. He knows those are terrible. Like normally you
don't get that type of candor about a quarterbacks turnovers
get Yeah, every one of those was just awful. WHOA. Well,
it's like i'mot a little solidarity. So you could see
that even in some of those remarks, you've got a

(26:27):
team that's looking at looking around. We're pretty good. We're
not great, but we're pretty good, and we should be
in every game and even this one is your final,
like this was a winnable game. But you have those
gifts and with Mike White, did those necessarily go out
the window? I don't know. You don't have a huge
sample size of him either been better, he's better suited

(26:51):
for that offense. But you've watched now when healthy what
Zack Wilson has now been look and then in a
team he's played eighteen games. Now at this point, do
you really think he's gonna break out? Or is this
just kind of who he is and maybe he can
be a game manager or in a year he's a
backup somewhere else because the Jets move on a quarterback.

(27:11):
They're not gonna They're not gonna sit and say year
three for Zack Wilson. I mean, at this point, I
told you after the first year you have to flash
a little bit in your first year, and he didn't.
So and and now he's played almost half of the
second year and he's just a guy. So what what's this?
What's his ceiling really going to be? I will say this,
I appreciated him going to the podium and someone tried

(27:33):
to give him the softball talking about his stats. He's like,
how does that do? We lost? And I wasn't good,
Like what what do you want? Like? Moving on and
you can tell this is gonna get tense really fast.
He's just not good. I'll tell he'll lose his job.
It's gonna happen. It's gonna happen. Be sure to catch
live editions of The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon

(27:54):
weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven pm Pacific. And he
first responder, I'll tell you never try to be a
train after breaking. You could take a mile for a
train to completely stop. So when you come to a
rail crossing stop, because trains can't. Jason Smith Show with
my best friend Mike Harmon, How much you want to bet?
When it's nine o'clock on the East Coast, tie shirt

(28:14):
goes to all Christmas music. I sorry, on the East
Coast we go to all Christmas music. Hollow Ween is over,
so now we're into Christmas songs, hey man. This weekend
we begin Glug Productions. Got a pencil sketch of a

(28:39):
design for the labels. Were ready, alright, very nice. Glug
Production begins. Yeah, it's gonna be all Christmas mus are
coming up in like ten minutes. Now. You know me.
I've said before I could run for president on one
platform and win, and I would have gas and milk
would be under two dollars a gallon, and I would win. Right,
I'd get everybody because everybody drives, everybody drinks, but I

(29:00):
would win. I have a new platform. You know, with
mid terms coming up now, I could pick any state
I wanted to run for whatever office in and they
would say, okay, what's your platform. I would say, I
will fix prime time football. I will have good games
on Mondays and Thursdays every week, guaranteed, and I would

(29:21):
win in a landslide. I wouldn't need anything else every week,
every week. I would have good games every single week.
Some teams might not like it because they would play
every Monday or Thursday, but I would have Everywhe're gonna
get good, good teams on every week. Now. I can't
do anything about the games, but the teams. Yeah, I
could fix primetime football. That's all. I would say, what

(29:41):
anything else you have? Do you know anything about the economy? No,
not at all. I was not really good at math.
What about no, no, don't worry about it. Don't worry
about it. What about no, no, no, listen, I'll get
you a really good primetime football game on Monday and
Thursday every week and I would win because I'm I'm adding,
as you would say, adding value, Dad's value, adding value advertiser.

(30:06):
Here the problem is that no problem can look no, no,
But here's the thing. What can look good on paper
like even here it's the battle for Ohio, right, Not
that you were expected to never put this game on,
not even on Halloween, not even though the or yeah,
that's great, I would never put this. The expectations are
greatness from the Bengals, which you did not see your Bengals,
your Bengals, and then that the Browns were good enough

(30:29):
because you remember, as you were setting the schedule there
was still a lot of pending litigation and league investigations
or whatever regarding a certain quarterback who's still not available
for said Brown's. You know, a Monday night game in
week eight looked fairly attractive for an a f C
North battle Bengals Brown's Bengals Browns is the Jags Titans

(30:52):
of the a f C. The other thing is you're
also saying it's Halloween other than peering into people's windows
while you take your kids trick or treating, as we
actually had people in our neighborhod that would do that
they would turn their TV towards the big windows. Some
parents that were waiting on their kids to get their
candy or whatever would be able to watch the game.
What do you got Frostberg tonight Monday night football dressed

(31:14):
up as Thursday night football. That's a pretty good bourmon,
that's a pretty good one. I don't know how good
the impression was when it was a good. Oh no,
I thank you. I've been waiting to give you any
case where I go on for seven minutes about how
bad you just stabbed me right in the spine. Is Halloween.

(31:36):
I've been waiting to give you guys all week, and
that I'll do it about ted menis during the fastest
thing as we made sure to take over the studios
have to hear it. No, no, no, this is this.
This is gonna be your favorite one of all time.
I mean we'll decide. No, trust me, I know it
to be a favorite one of all time. But no,
what I would do is, hey, the Eagles are first
of all. I would say, hey, I need flexible schedule.
We got the Texans on Thursday. Flexible schedule. You need

(32:00):
to give me flexile Okay, I understand, we can't flexibly
schedule Thursday night. We can flexible schedule Monday nights. All right,
So what would you do to put the Cowboys and
Bears on? Or I would have put the Eagles on.
Every week the Eagles win their undefeated, there a story.
Either they're going to win and still be a story,
or they're going to lose. That's a big story. Eas
I keep doing that because they're the best team in
the NFC. I would keep putting them on. I would

(32:21):
put Patrick Mahomes on every Thursday night. I would put
Patrick Mahomes or the Cowboys everything I would it would be.
But if I'm an executive at Fox or CBS, I
tell you I'll see you in hell. There's a bunch
of cash. Considering that you have the other thirteen games,
I don't care. So like when you go to break
on an Amazon Prime game, it's no longer Amazon Prime series.

(32:41):
These movies you get right there. No, he welcome to Fox.
These are bigger than that. Seven of the ciens. People
would vote for me. I would solve it big story
out of the NFL. Next in the Tire dot Com
