All Star break. That is not true. That is ruthful statement. Yeah,

Math, and it basically eliminates everything that happened like you
took out the men in Black neuralizer. It took out
everything that happened before what Thursday about noon?

Yeah, that was it. That was it, but proof that
you know, look, the Mets can't have nice things. This
big story out of Major League Baseball today that they
are restricting using dugout iPads for AI assisted in game strategy.
Now what does this mean. This means the teams can
no longer use iPads in the dugout and use artificial

intelligence to help make strategy decisions. This is something that
former Mets reliever Adam Ottavino, who now broadcasts for the Yankees,
said during a podcast, Wait what do you mean, Like, really,
wait a minute, A team actually uses AI in the
dugout to help them make strategy decisions, Like Aaron Judge
was told this today. He says, Man, that's wild, And

I would say, you know, only the Mets would ask
a computer to make a decision for them because they
couldn't make it, and the computer would make the wrong decision.
Because the Mets were of the worst teams in baseball.
So whatever AI has been doing to help the Mets
in the first half of the season, this has not
been good. It is not work, So maybe the Mets.
Maybe that's why the Mets will start winning now they're

not gonna ask AI for help.

Old rule of thumb, Jason, you put trash in, right,
trash data in and trash out. So I'd love to
see the search terms and the prompts that were put
in by the Mets staff to get to the decisions
that they ultimately ended up making, because this is where
they now sue those companies and maybe own some fraction

of our companies in Silicon Valley, and that helps offset
and makes it easier to get rid of Lindor, and
eventually Sodo.

caught and who decides to open the door and tell
you how the sausage is made. In this case, it's
a guy who was a major league player raising his
hand saying, I need to say something interesting because it
is a very crowded field here, and I want to
keep a job. So what do I have from the mets? Hey,

this one's kind of cool. Let's talk about that specifically.
But I have no doubt. I mean, we've always talked
about guys going back into the tunnel and can get
footage or whatever else. I have no doubt that with
the advent of AI that you have more than one team.
I mean, hell, look at all the Saint Louis was
doing with scouting and whatever. Why, oh yeah, they got
caught up in some scandals. The Astros, you think they're

above reproach.

No, I think that.

I think there's a bunch of squads where we might
want to go look through the uh, the strategicy history
here and what kind of prompts were put in of
you know, tendencies. Uh, and histories batter versus pitcher. You know,
where's the most successful pitch? You know, simulate a pitch
count for me. I think you get creative with it

and come up with some pretty good data. Unless you're
the Mets.

Yeah, Siri is managing the Mets. You mean former outfielder
Jose Siri. No, Siri from from the computer serie Just
ass Siri. Yeah, yeah, Susan Bennett, the voice of Siri.
She's she's the one managing the Mets right now. Well,

You're kind of like if you're playing a game of

thinks AI is taking over the world, Look, they could
the Mets couldn't even use it right, and they couldn't
even give the Mets good advice. So I understand we're
probably a ways away from Skynett. I'm just I'm just
saying we might be aways away from that. Could be
real now.

Meanwhile, this story today, and you know, I put my
head in my hands when I saw it because I said, wow,
Tom Brady and the WWE is gonna hate me after this.
So today at Fanaticsfest in New York, last couple days
has been a lot of fun. Mainly it's been taken
over by the fact that Lebron James is on stage
doing interviews and not saying where he's going in free agency.

Knicks fansy Knicks fans there, Look, you had all the
Knicks that are there. Jalen Bruns is at the Yankee
game tonight wearing a custom Nix and five Yankee hat,
which I don't even care where any Yankee hat it's
got a Nixon five on it. But today Tom Brady
slap WWE star Logan Paul during an on stage confrontation
that was mediated by Karl Anthony Towns. He's a guy

who stepped in and immediately got called for a foul.
I don't know if you saw that, but right away
they called cat for it.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
It was a quick foll. He was sent off and
had to leave the stage.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
But Brady slaps Logan Paul and this comes out. It's
oh my God it you just see did you just
see this? This has been a beef that's been going
on social media for a little while, and you know,
look and as soon as this happened, you texted me
today saying Brady's wanted in for a while, and now
it looks like they're gonna wind up having something happening
for w a match in the WWE. As this this
(06:46):
is now where it's going, right, Like, Tom Brady's not
losing his cool and slapping Logan Paul unless there's an
endgame to it, right, So you know you're gonna see
Tom Brady doing something in the WWE, whether it's a
straight up match against Logan Paul something, it's gonna be there.
And this is where. Okay, So first I'll say why
Tom Brady's gonna get mad at me? Uh Brady? This

is I feel sad for Brady a little bit because
it's obvious he is looking for something to fill that
void that he has not been able to fill, that
he's no longer a football player. And you see this
from some of the from of the big players all time,
right that there's reason why you see some guys that
were so up on the competition they never figured out
(07:30):
after their playing days were over, what do we do? Right,
Like Peyton Manning's figured out, this is how I stay competitive.
This is what I do following my playing career, right,
became a commercial pitch man the Manning Podcast. He's figured
it out. Brady's got his finger in a lot of pies. Well,
I have my own I have my own TB twelve ware, right,
I have I have the broadcast deal at Fox. You know,

I own the Raiders. I want to do stuff at WWE.
Like he's trying to find something to fill that void,
and not everybody can do it, not everybody. He could
do what Kobe Bryant did. He left basketball and basically
he left the NBA behind. He was like, yeah, I'm
done now moving on to other things. He was a
venture capitalist. He was growing women's basketball. He won an
oscar like he was ringing the bell on Wall Street, Like,
(08:13):
this is what the greatest do when they don't have
that competition on the field anymore. And it's not everybody
that can find the right thing to do. And here's
Brady who is now again, how many things? How many
ventures does Brady have going on? Right? He was a
great quarterback because that's what he did, right, he was
(08:33):
a quarter He didn't do a lot of other things. Right,
he was a great quarterback because that's what he's spent
his entire time on. But now he's doing all these
different things, and you could say, well, boy, the Raiders
could be run a little bit better. Is he the
broadcast or he could be all these things. You can say,
because he's doing a lot of stuff. Hey, do what
you want, right, Brady. I mean, Brady's earned the right
to do whatever he wants. Obviously, the guy's the best

quarterback any of us have ever seen. But I see
this and I just go, man, this is a guy
that just has not figured out how to harness that
level of competition. Because you know, Brady still feels competitive
and that he's not playing football anymore. Where do I
pour all of my energies into And instead I'm just
gonna try a whole bunch of different things. And now

it's gonna be the WWE.

He's opened up more than a dozen card shops in
the last year, right, Like, He's gone into so many ventures,
and I think some of it might have been well
baking up for lost time and have opportunities keep presenting
yourself to get presented to you where your time involvement
in many of them is going to be minimal. Right
(09:38):
when we talk about the broadcasting side, could you do
you know, rehearsal games in the offseason, I'm sure there's
some of that. Are you watching tape?
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Yeah?

Talking to people, I'm sure that's just natural conversations. But
six months of the year job in terms of being
front facing and on camera with the number one crew,
and in year two you got a lot better, right,
I think every but he agreed to that, and as
he gets more removed from the players in the game,
perhaps that's where you find your stride. So I think

some of it's scratching the itch. The WWE thing's been
out there for a while because I think he was
always jealous that Gronk did it and so many other
athletes did and while he was a player, that wasn't
really available to him. So now you have an opportunity
with Logan Paul, who's done a pretty good job of
getting people over. Regardless of what you think of he
and his brother, I mean a lot of people have

their their thoughts. He's a good performer in the WWE.

I don't think you need to get Tom Brady over.
I think Tom Brady's gotten over. I don't think you're
looking He's not like, hey, I'm just picking some It's
not like when Apollo Creed just picked Rocky Balboa out
of a hat. God, yeah, I'll make this guy. Yeah,
I'll give this guy a chance here. I hope.

All I'm saying is that he's a guy that sells well,
let's just put it that way. Right, in terms of
anything physically Brady would have to do in the ring,
this guy can make it look good. You may not
like him, he's on my personality rubs people the wrong way,
even Brady in the post of all it is like
calling him a dork and a nervous Oh.

No, no, yeah, he's trying to No, look, they're trying to
escalate something. And Brady has talked about getting into the ring,
and I I just want to say this, The rules
are different for guys who are goats. Right, The rules
are just different what you do in your post playing career.
You don't want to tarnish the legacy, the image of

who you are. The rules are just different. Right, when
you leave a game and you are the greatest of
all time. It's something there's certain things you want to
get into where maybe your advisor goes, are you sure
you want to do that? The first time we see
Tom Brady in a w W ring, we're gonna go
what the hell is he doing? Like, like what what? What?
That's you?

I am gonna buy whatever he puts up.

Immediately, it's gonna be what what what is he doing? Right? Like, hey,
Gronk getting in Gronk's one of the greatest tight ends
we've ever seen. But it goes along with his personality
that he wants to go do something like that. He
made it fun. It was a fun thing, Brady. It's good.
It's not trust me, it's not gonna hit the same.
It's gonna be like, Okay, here he is, and what's

he gonna do? Is he gonna be dressed up? Crazy?
Is he gonna be like? What is it gonna be?
Tru I don't think it's gonna hit the way you
think it's gonna hit. We're gonna go, oh, okay, this
is this is Brady the WWE Okay, all right, well we.

Got tomorrow in the uncursing parade for Dan housen uh.
And then they have Saturday Nights Made Event uh. And
then you have two weeks this Summer Slam. So you
try to figure out what that build will be. But
as a guy who's been in and out more in
and out over the course of his life for many,
many years, we've seen a lot of odd ball combinations

and random insertions in w W E rings. I mean, look,
just bring it on. Go back to just Cindy Lauper
being part of the rock and Wrestling connection, hanging out
with Captain Duel Bano, go back to the Genesis, go
back to the when they wanted in on MTV. Tom Brady,
tom Brady just you know, searching the earth, trying to

have a little bit of fun and if he can
make a little extra scratch for himself, his uh, his
people around him, and putting the scandal.

Really he owns it, he owns the Raiders. He's making
thirty dollars a year from the from Fox. I think
Tom Brady has enough money. He created all for a
little more. But I mean it's he's gonna be there.
You're gonna go this is the greatest quarterback of all time,
and he's in a wwe ring right now. Like I again,
I get I understand it. I understand it, but I

get where he's coming from, trying to find the competition thing. Bob,
tell it's not gonna hit the way you think it's
gonna be.

old singlet. I'm gonna wear it because he would wear

he always wore the head gear into the ring. So
how about we do that.

to keep putting off his entry into the Hall of

least at least because it's just Brady's going to hold

I don't know that that's going to be the optic

I'm really trying not to think about that. I'm not
let me just say this, I don't spend a lot
of time thinking about men in singlets. Okay, all right,

I so dig this story man again. I feel like
when you're the goat of a sport, when you're that good, like,
there's only certain things you can do, uh, to keep
your public image and the optic you know out there
of hey, I'm still the goat, and I don't know
that to see that, that's what I mean. I don't
know that Brady's gonna do this and we're going to go,
oh yeah, that's the greatest quarterback any of us have

ever seen. There he is in the ring with Logan Paul.

Okay, this is really this is really where I like
Tom should be more like Joe DiMaggio and just walk
around and do nothing. But like you know, I know,
the only problem is like Peyton has stole every commercial
out there, so Tom Tom has trouble getting more commercials

because Peyton just keeps stealing those. So that's the whole
Manning Brady thing just keeps playing itself out. But yeah,
that's Tom shouldn't be doing any any of his other stuff.
He should be focused on, Like he should pick between
the broadcasting and being in charge of the Raiders, like
choose one of those two and do them in a

dignified way, getting into ring with Logan Paul or like
doing doing that that that roast. Don't do those things,
those things don't. Don't do those things well, alk of that.

Those things don't make you cool, that's all.

Yeah, his old coach Jacole, is he better served if
he went to the WWE or another year where everything's
come into in the focus for him there at North Carolina.

You know, I know I saw what Fine Bomb said recently,
Like yeah, and I will say this Fine Bomb has
been wrong plenty of times, like especially when he said
arbag you know, like Harbaugh should quit at Michigan and
give it up and then like win the national championship
like that was my favorite favorite one. So so I

don't take fine mom as necessarily the final say in
all of this, despite the fact that everybody tries to
elevate him to that to that status. But I will
say that Bill's not like, let's just say this. One
of the great weaknesses that Bill has in navigating this
(21:33):
college atmosphere is having people around him who will tell
him this doesn't work. Instead, he has do boys like
Michael Lombardi next to him going, oh yeah, the grace,
the grace. It's it's sort of like Edelman with Brady.
It's that version of that version of Edelman and Brady
is Michael Lombardi and Belichick. And so Lombardy does all
(21:55):
these really stupid things off to the side because he
thinks he has power, and he thinks he has really
good ideas, and he's really not a very smart guy, right,
He just you know, he's a great self promoter, but
he's not that smart guy. And so you just kind
of sit there and go, yet, Bill, you need better
people around you. The only problem that Bill has is

Bill trusts no one. Like he's got one of the
smallest coaching staffs of all time because he doesn't trust
to hire new people. He doesn't trust to bring people
around him. And this all goes back to guess what,
he grew up in a military academy and he hates
and things that secrets are really really important. So he
doesn't trust anybody around him because nobody trusts anything when

they grew up in a military academy. So that's my
deep psychoanalysis of Bill Belichick and why it's probably not
going to work. It's just not going to work because
he's not geared to having success even though he's the greatest,
maybe the greatest coach of all time.

See I'll go more surface for you because this is
where I go. Is that here he is today? Say
where you know, so far ahead of where we were
last year when last year he walked in like they
were going to reinvent college football? Oh wait, do you
see what we're going to do to this sport, nutrition, everything?

But that was that was Lombardi. See that's see the
problem is that was not Belichick. That was Lombardi, and
that was how people were selling it that he's going
to revolutionize He's going to revolutionize college football because of
all his his you know, his his football acumen from
the from the NFL, and it's like, yeah, I heard

the same argument in reverse when they brought Chip Kelly
to the Eagles, Like he's going to bring in all
these new fangled ideas, and it's like, now it's the
same old, stupid ideas and you're just not very good
at it. And with Bill it's like it's the same
old ideas. It's just it's football at the end of
the day, and you still have you don't have really

sophisticated people around you anymore, and you're not bringing more sophisticated,
smarter people around you because you don't trust them. You're
stuck with Michael Lombardi trying to work at the University
of North Carolina. Michael Lombardy's is an idiot. Don't use him.
He's bad. Don't do this.

And if you had a drinking game where you had
to do something when the name Lombardi was now you're
in trouble on a Friday.

Well, we've seen some cool AI iterations. I sent you
one that has the current age Messy at midfield is
the World Cup trophy in a bathtub and on the
other side is baby Jamaal. So I mean, yeah, no,
I like that. Maybe am I really eating from a
food truck in New York got some traction?

Yeah? I was really honestly, I was kind of waiting for, Hey,
here's Jalen Brunson as Messy and here's Wemby as Yaml
like I was. That was the one. I was really
waiting for I didn't.

Yeah, I mean, you could get a put that in
a prompt and have that spit out back at you
a couple of minutes. It might end up looking wrong,
like any of the stuff the Mets were using in
terms of AI assisted creation, but you might get yourself
to a proper end. He could just draw a little
stick figures to make yourself happy.

So here we go with the World Cup finals set
for Sunday Argentina and Spain, and so far the weather
looks like it's going to cooperate. Obviously, the fires in
Canada coming over. It's been played havoc with many different
cities over the course of the past few days, but
so far it looks like it's gonna be okay. It
seems like insanity to pick against Messi after the World
(34:26):
Cup that Argentina was having and all the big escapes
and all that they can do late. It seems insane.
You're not gonna pick against Messi, are you? Yeah? I am.
I'm gonna pick against Messi because I told you at
some point wo his age and Argentina being a bit
of an older team is gonna come back to bite them.
And you know, at some point they were going to
(34:47):
run out of miracles. England helped them immensely by saying, hey,
now we're gonna go defensive for the last thirty five
minutes of this game, even though we watched Egypt help
them out immensely by saying, yeah, we're going completely defensive
because we have a two goal lead last fifteen minutes.
It doesn't matter. But this is now Argentina playing a
game three days after their last one, and it's this
(35:09):
is where things are gonna come up a little bit
empty for Argentina. You expect them, they're arsenal, to be
able to attack, just like they've done throughout the entire
World Cup. Spain is the best team for a reason, right,
They've allowed two goals in the World Cup for a reason,
right the entire tournament. If any team is not going
to panic and try to outthink themselves, it's gonna be Spain.
(35:31):
I don't think it's gonna be an exciting game. I
think this has the earmarks of a one nothing kind
of game where Spain really controls the tempo and the
pace the entire game, and the scoring chances for Argentina
are few and far between. Like I see this is
a one nothing game, and you know Spain gets a
goal in the sixtieth or seventieth minute and winds up winning.
(35:51):
But yeah, I mean, I've I've been telling you it's
gonna come up empty for Messi at some point during
the World Cup. Yeah, this is kind of where it's
gonna be another game, the fun final game, after the
fewest amount of days. He has the rest to get
through it because he's thirty nine. Spain is the best
team Defensively, they're the best team. They're going to attack Argentina.
It's gonna be able to keep them away from being
(36:12):
able to dictate the tempo. I'll take Spain one nothing
to win the World Cup.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
Sixty five percent of the money on Argentine. I'm sorry,
sixty five percent of tickets on Argentina money split fifty
four to forty six Spain minus one forty sixty percent
implied probability. I was looking up some Messy prop bets
as well, because you know that's always fun. Under three
point five shots at minus one thirty eight. Messi to

be the last goal scorer plus five hundred and to
record one one or more assists plus three twenty. What's
interesting is in looking up. You know, obviously we watched
a lot of the all these matches and the build up,

Math, and it basically eliminates everything that happened like you
took out the men in Black neuralizer. It took out
everything that happened before what Thursday about noon?

Yeah, that was it. That was it, but proof that
you know, look, the Mets can't have nice things. This
big story out of Major League Baseball today that they
are restricting using dugout iPads for AI assisted in game strategy.
Now what does this mean. This means the teams can
no longer use iPads in the dugout and use artificial

intelligence to help make strategy decisions. This is something that
former Mets reliever Adam Ottavino, who now broadcasts for the Yankees,
said during a podcast, Wait what do you mean, Like, really,
wait a minute, A team actually uses AI in the
dugout to help them make strategy decisions, Like Aaron Judge
was told this today. He says, Man, that's wild, And
(02:06):
I would say, you know, only the Mets would ask
a computer to make a decision for them because they
couldn't make it, and the computer would make the wrong decision.
Because the Mets were of the worst teams in baseball.
So whatever AI has been doing to help the Mets
in the first half of the season, this has not
been good. It is not work, So maybe the Mets.
Maybe that's why the Mets will start winning now they're
(02:27):
not gonna ask AI for help.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Old rule of thumb, Jason, you put trash in, right,
trash data in and trash out. So I'd love to
see the search terms and the prompts that were put
in by the Mets staff to get to the decisions
that they ultimately ended up making, because this is where
they now sue those companies and maybe own some fraction

of our companies in Silicon Valley, and that helps offset
and makes it easier to get rid of Lindor, and
eventually Sodo.

See what it says? See when it comes back and
sets like, I really can't believe that it's strate strategy
that's being put in there, right man, Adam Outavino, boy,

And again, it's all all a matter of who gets
caught and who decides to open the door and tell
you how the sausage is made. In this case, it's
a guy who was a major league player raising his
hand saying, I need to say something interesting because it
is a very crowded field here, and I want to
keep a job. So what do I have from the mets? Hey,

this one's kind of cool. Let's talk about that specifically.
But I have no doubt. I mean, we've always talked
about guys going back into the tunnel and can get
footage or whatever else. I have no doubt that with
the advent of AI that you have more than one team.
I mean, hell, look at all the Saint Louis was
doing with scouting and whatever. Why, oh yeah, they got
caught up in some scandals. The Astros, you think they're

above reproach.

No, I think that.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
I think there's a bunch of squads where we might
want to go look through the uh, the strategicy history
here and what kind of prompts were put in of
you know, tendencies. Uh, and histories batter versus pitcher. You know,
where's the most successful pitch? You know, simulate a pitch
count for me. I think you get creative with it
(04:38):
and come up with some pretty good data. Unless you're
the Mets.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, Siri is managing the Mets. You mean former outfielder
Jose Siri. No, Siri from from the computer serie Just
ass Siri. Yeah, yeah, Susan Bennett, the voice of Siri.
She's she's the one managing the Mets right now. Well,
I mean the Mets.

You're kind of like if you're playing a game of
battleship and you say, you know, hey see, oh hit,
and then I get to go again. Uh, give me
Z fourteen. No, I've established that I've hit a ship here.
I should probably pencil around there. Yes, nah, let's go

thinks AI is taking over the world, Look, they could
the Mets couldn't even use it right, and they couldn't
even give the Mets good advice. So I understand we're
probably a ways away from Skynett. I'm just I'm just
saying we might be aways away from that. Could be
real now.

Meanwhile, this story today, and you know, I put my
head in my hands when I saw it because I said, wow,
Tom Brady and the WWE is gonna hate me after this.
So today at Fanaticsfest in New York, last couple days
has been a lot of fun. Mainly it's been taken
over by the fact that Lebron James is on stage
doing interviews and not saying where he's going in free agency.
(05:52):
Knicks fansy Knicks fans there, Look, you had all the
Knicks that are there. Jalen Bruns is at the Yankee
game tonight wearing a custom Nix and five Yankee hat,
which I don't even care where any Yankee hat it's
got a Nixon five on it. But today Tom Brady
slap WWE star Logan Paul during an on stage confrontation
that was mediated by Karl Anthony Towns. He's a guy
(06:14):
who stepped in and immediately got called for a foul.
I don't know if you saw that, but right away
they called cat for it.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
It was a quick foll. He was sent off and
had to leave the stage.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
But Brady slaps Logan Paul and this comes out. It's
oh my God it you just see did you just
see this? This has been a beef that's been going
on social media for a little while, and you know,
look and as soon as this happened, you texted me
today saying Brady's wanted in for a while, and now
it looks like they're gonna wind up having something happening
for w a match in the WWE. As this this
(06:46):
is now where it's going, right, Like, Tom Brady's not
losing his cool and slapping Logan Paul unless there's an
endgame to it, right, So you know you're gonna see
Tom Brady doing something in the WWE, whether it's a
straight up match against Logan Paul something, it's gonna be there.
And this is where. Okay, So first I'll say why
Tom Brady's gonna get mad at me? Uh Brady? This
(07:09):
is I feel sad for Brady a little bit because
it's obvious he is looking for something to fill that
void that he has not been able to fill, that
he's no longer a football player. And you see this
from some of the from of the big players all time,
right that there's reason why you see some guys that
were so up on the competition they never figured out
(07:30):
after their playing days were over, what do we do? Right,
Like Peyton Manning's figured out, this is how I stay competitive.
This is what I do following my playing career, right,
became a commercial pitch man the Manning Podcast. He's figured
it out. Brady's got his finger in a lot of pies. Well,
I have my own I have my own TB twelve ware, right,
I have I have the broadcast deal at Fox. You know,
(07:51):
I own the Raiders. I want to do stuff at WWE.
Like he's trying to find something to fill that void,
and not everybody can do it, not everybody. He could
do what Kobe Bryant did. He left basketball and basically
he left the NBA behind. He was like, yeah, I'm
done now moving on to other things. He was a
venture capitalist. He was growing women's basketball. He won an
oscar like he was ringing the bell on Wall Street, Like,
(08:13):
this is what the greatest do when they don't have
that competition on the field anymore. And it's not everybody
that can find the right thing to do. And here's
Brady who is now again, how many things? How many
ventures does Brady have going on? Right? He was a
great quarterback because that's what he did, right, he was
(08:33):
a quarter He didn't do a lot of other things. Right,
he was a great quarterback because that's what he's spent
his entire time on. But now he's doing all these
different things, and you could say, well, boy, the Raiders
could be run a little bit better. Is he the
broadcast or he could be all these things. You can say,
because he's doing a lot of stuff. Hey, do what
you want, right, Brady. I mean, Brady's earned the right
to do whatever he wants. Obviously, the guy's the best
(08:53):
quarterback any of us have ever seen. But I see
this and I just go, man, this is a guy
that just has not figured out how to harness that
level of competition. Because you know, Brady still feels competitive
and that he's not playing football anymore. Where do I
pour all of my energies into And instead I'm just
gonna try a whole bunch of different things. And now
(09:14):
it's gonna be the WWE.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
He's opened up more than a dozen card shops in
the last year, right, Like, He's gone into so many ventures,
and I think some of it might have been well
baking up for lost time and have opportunities keep presenting
yourself to get presented to you where your time involvement
in many of them is going to be minimal. Right
(09:38):
when we talk about the broadcasting side, could you do
you know, rehearsal games in the offseason, I'm sure there's
some of that. Are you watching tape?
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Yeah?

Talking to people, I'm sure that's just natural conversations. But
six months of the year job in terms of being
front facing and on camera with the number one crew,
and in year two you got a lot better, right,
I think every but he agreed to that, and as
he gets more removed from the players in the game,
perhaps that's where you find your stride. So I think

some of it's scratching the itch. The WWE thing's been
out there for a while because I think he was
always jealous that Gronk did it and so many other
athletes did and while he was a player, that wasn't
really available to him. So now you have an opportunity
with Logan Paul, who's done a pretty good job of
getting people over. Regardless of what you think of he
and his brother, I mean a lot of people have

their their thoughts. He's a good performer in the WWE.

I don't think you need to get Tom Brady over.
I think Tom Brady's gotten over. I don't think you're
looking He's not like, hey, I'm just picking some It's
not like when Apollo Creed just picked Rocky Balboa out
of a hat. God, yeah, I'll make this guy. Yeah,
I'll give this guy a chance here. I hope.

All I'm saying is that he's a guy that sells well,
let's just put it that way. Right, in terms of
anything physically Brady would have to do in the ring,
this guy can make it look good. You may not

No, no, yeah, he's trying to No, look, they're trying to
escalate something. And Brady has talked about getting into the ring,
and I I just want to say this, The rules
are different for guys who are goats. Right, The rules
are just different what you do in your post playing career.
You don't want to tarnish the legacy, the image of

who you are. The rules are just different. Right, when
you leave a game and you are the greatest of
all time. It's something there's certain things you want to
get into where maybe your advisor goes, are you sure
you want to do that? The first time we see
Tom Brady in a w W ring, we're gonna go
what the hell is he doing? Like, like what what? What?
That's you?

I am gonna buy whatever he puts up.

Immediately, it's gonna be what what what is he doing? Right? Like, hey,
Gronk getting in Gronk's one of the greatest tight ends
we've ever seen. But it goes along with his personality
that he wants to go do something like that. He

because Peyton just keeps stealing those. So that's the whole
Manning Brady thing just keeps playing itself out. But yeah,
that's Tom shouldn't be doing any any of his other stuff.
He should be focused on, Like he should pick between
the broadcasting and being in charge of the Raiders, like
choose one of those two and do them in a

dignified way, getting into ring with Logan Paul or like
doing doing that that that roast. Don't do those things,
those things don't. Don't do those things well, alk of that.

Yeah, his old coach Jacole, is he better served if
he went to the WWE or another year where everything's

You know, I know I saw what Fine Bomb said recently,
Like yeah, and I will say this Fine Bomb has
been wrong plenty of times, like especially when he said
arbag you know, like Harbaugh should quit at Michigan and
give it up and then like win the national championship
like that was my favorite favorite one. So so I

don't take fine mom as necessarily the final say in
all of this, despite the fact that everybody tries to
elevate him to that to that status. But I will
say that Bill's not like, let's just say this. One
of the great weaknesses that Bill has in navigating this
(21:33):
college atmosphere is having people around him who will tell
him this doesn't work. Instead, he has do boys like
Michael Lombardi next to him going, oh yeah, the grace,
the grace. It's it's sort of like Edelman with Brady.
It's that version of that version of Edelman and Brady
is Michael Lombardi and Belichick. And so Lombardy does all
(21:55):
these really stupid things off to the side because he
thinks he has power, and he thinks he has really
good ideas, and he's really not a very smart guy, right,
He just you know, he's a great self promoter, but
he's not that smart guy. And so you just kind
of sit there and go, yet, Bill, you need better
people around you. The only problem that Bill has is
(22:16):
Bill trusts no one. Like he's got one of the
smallest coaching staffs of all time because he doesn't trust
to hire new people. He doesn't trust to bring people
around him. And this all goes back to guess what,
he grew up in a military academy and he hates
and things that secrets are really really important. So he
doesn't trust anybody around him because nobody trusts anything when
(22:39):
they grew up in a military academy. So that's my
deep psychoanalysis of Bill Belichick and why it's probably not
going to work. It's just not going to work because
he's not geared to having success even though he's the greatest,
maybe the greatest coach of all time.

See I'll go more surface for you because this is
where I go. Is that here he is today? Say
where you know, so far ahead of where we were
last year when last year he walked in like they
were going to reinvent college football? Oh wait, do you
see what we're going to do to this sport, nutrition, everything?

But that was that was Lombardi. See that's see the
problem is that was not Belichick. That was Lombardi, and
that was how people were selling it that he's going
to revolutionize He's going to revolutionize college football because of
all his his you know, his his football acumen from
the from the NFL, and it's like, yeah, I heard

the same argument in reverse when they brought Chip Kelly
to the Eagles, Like he's going to bring in all
these new fangled ideas, and it's like, now it's the
same old, stupid ideas and you're just not very good
at it. And with Bill it's like it's the same
old ideas. It's just it's football at the end of
the day, and you still have you don't have really

sophisticated people around you anymore, and you're not bringing more sophisticated,
smarter people around you because you don't trust them. You're
stuck with Michael Lombardi trying to work at the University
of North Carolina. Michael Lombardy's is an idiot. Don't use him.
He's bad. Don't do this.

to do something when the name Lombardi was now you're
in trouble on a Friday.

here's Jalen Brunson as Messy and here's Wemby as Yaml
like I was. That was the one. I was really

Yeah, I mean, you could get a put that in
a prompt and have that spit out back at you
a couple of minutes. It might end up looking wrong,
like any of the stuff the Mets were using in
terms of AI assisted creation, but you might get yourself
to a proper end. He could just draw a little

So here we go with the World Cup finals set
for Sunday Argentina and Spain, and so far the weather
looks like it's going to cooperate. Obviously, the fires in
Canada coming over. It's been played havoc with many different
cities over the course of the past few days, but
so far it looks like it's gonna be okay. It
seems like insanity to pick against Messi after the World
(34:26):
Cup that Argentina was having and all the big escapes
and all that they can do late. It seems insane.
You're not gonna pick against Messi, are you? Yeah? I am.
I'm gonna pick against Messi because I told you at
some point wo his age and Argentina being a bit
of an older team is gonna come back to bite them.
And you know, at some point they were going to
(34:47):
run out of miracles. England helped them immensely by saying, hey,
now we're gonna go defensive for the last thirty five
minutes of this game, even though we watched Egypt help
them out immensely by saying, yeah, we're going completely defensive
because we have a two goal lead last fifteen minutes.
It doesn't matter. But this is now Argentina playing a
game three days after their last one, and it's this
(35:09):
is where things are gonna come up a little bit
empty for Argentina. You expect them, they're arsenal, to be
able to attack, just like they've done throughout the entire
World Cup. Spain is the best team for a reason, right,
They've allowed two goals in the World Cup for a reason,
right the entire tournament. If any team is not going
to panic and try to outthink themselves, it's gonna be Spain.
(35:31):
I don't think it's gonna be an exciting game. I
think this has the earmarks of a one nothing kind
of game where Spain really controls the tempo and the
pace the entire game, and the scoring chances for Argentina
are few and far between. Like I see this is
a one nothing game, and you know Spain gets a
goal in the sixtieth or seventieth minute and winds up winning.
(35:51):
But yeah, I mean, I've I've been telling you it's
gonna come up empty for Messi at some point during
the World Cup. Yeah, this is kind of where it's
gonna be another game, the fun final game, after the
fewest amount of days. He has the rest to get
through it because he's thirty nine. Spain is the best
team Defensively, they're the best team. They're going to attack Argentina.
It's gonna be able to keep them away from being
(36:12):
able to dictate the tempo. I'll take Spain one nothing
to win the World Cup.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
Sixty five percent of the money on Argentine. I'm sorry,
sixty five percent of tickets on Argentina money split fifty
four to forty six Spain minus one forty sixty percent
implied probability. I was looking up some Messy prop bets
as well, because you know that's always fun. Under three
