listening to Fox Sports Radio. Greetings, Welcome inside our two

live from the tire rack dot com studios. We'll help
you get there and unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free
road hazard protection, over ten thousand recommended installers tire rac

(00:45):
dot com. The way tire buying should be Alex tishert
Mike Harmon, who last night was wearing a Netherlands jersey
so excited because he's just anti I'm not. I'm all
over Japan because I have him in the World Cup pool.
Here work sports at all. I've never paid attention to
anything that goes on here on the show for seven years,

(01:06):
but now I could win money. Now I'm all in
on the World Cup in Japan's disputed goal is not
a goal, all right. So I have questions about the
Netherlands as I really lost for words watching what just transpired.
It that we'll get in a second because it hurt
my heart. But the with watching the Netherlands, I want

(01:29):
to know what color orange you'd put that is that
closer to the Texas Longhorns. Is it like where we're
on the continuum of all our orange college teams Tennessee, Syracuse, wherever,
where where would you put that? You know, it's it's
a weird It's a weird orange. The color on the
flag makes it look like it's more Texas burnt orange,

(01:52):
but the color of the jerseys look more like Broncos
eighties orange jersey. It's very weird that you get those
two different shades out out there. It's kind of like
an umbre look that you would get an orange ombre look. Well,
I just remember Ombre as the name of them. The um.

(02:16):
When Joey was doing stuff on friends and he was
spraying people with the the perfume, he just praised the
guy in the Yeah, so chaos. But that was one
of the questions. I'm ready for the knockout round, man,

(02:37):
we got one more day of games tomorrow we'll watch
and people will win or lose money. And and earlier
Steve and I were having a conversation, right, he's updating
the points in this little friendly thing we got going
on here. Remember before the tournament, all the questions about
match fixing and investigations and all these man hours being

(03:00):
put in to make sure everything is on the up
and up. You ever had a um sense that Lukaku
might have had some I don't know, he did not
play his best game is as as nicely as I
can put in with multiple quality, golden chances to literally

(03:21):
just push the ball into the net that failed miserably
to where it almost looked like, um, you didn't want
to mhm. Yeah. Sometimes desire is a funny thing. Something
you gonna think everybody has it. Everybody doesn't have it
all the time. Yes, it's just the you know you
you don't want to start throwing out wild accusations as

(03:43):
we get ready to vote on the Veterans Committee stuff
for the Baseball Hall of Fame. But hey, they do
it there, uh, and deciding who's good who's not in
terms of the rules and and spirit of the game.
And I'll do it here. Just going. Hey, explained to me,
how how you missed those chances? Please? I mean, I

(04:06):
I get it. You can be a little off in
your game. This was a guy that when he came
onto the big all right, he's gonna be the difference banker.
Here's the eggs negdations. And then he played terribly. That
was Chuck Knoblock to the uh huh. So we'll have
more on the World Cup coming up right now. Thursday

(04:27):
night football. It's been all Bills. The Patriots are gonna
kick a field goal that could cut the score to
twenty four to ten with less than two minutes left
to go. So on sidekick touchdown, on sidekick touchdown. Hey,
we got something going on. But like who this is
going to be a Bill's victory. We made it a
two score game with under two minuture. I said, you know,
you used to think about that when I was a kid.

(04:47):
All we need is to score, get the on sidekick,
score again. If we got one on kick, we can
get it again, score again, and then at the game's tied.
All we need in the fourth quarter we need we
need three touchdowns. It's three. We just need three touch downs.
We'll get the ball three times just gotta score three
times the things I thought that was possible when I
was younger in my car. Dangerous thing. We've talked about
this for a long time on this ship. It is.

(05:09):
But speaking of hope, uh, I want to say, you
have to do the rest of the show with me.
You cannot get on a plane and go to Chicago
after what I'm going to tell you're going to want
to Bears quarterback Justin Field, who is getting better. It
looks like he's going to play this week. Potentially, arrows
are pointing to him being able to play this week.
We don't have an absolute decision yet, but Justin Fields

(05:31):
has not had a great night. He hits Twitter tonight
to tell everyone I usually don't tweet much at uber eats. Oh,
but the fact that I ordered ninety dollars worth of
food and don't get it dropped off to the right
place and can't get any credit is wild s MH,

(05:52):
y'all gotta do better, l O L. I was hungry
and ready to go crazy on that food. Now I'm
just gonna starve. So Justin Fields ordered nearly a hundred
dollars worth of food from Uber eats. They drop it
off in the wrong place. He doesn't get credit for it.
And now now he's gonna wind up not eating. So

(06:13):
you can't get on a plane and bring him food.
I know you want to stay in fantasy. I know you,
but you can't. You gotta stay here and do the
rest of the show. Then you can get on a
plane and go to Chicago and bring him food because
he's gonna need it. Well, I'll give family credit. They
were in the mention just saying, Hey, come to this
bar and and and eat with us. Your family did really?
Your brothers did? Did they really? Dude? If there's a

(06:37):
if you can get a picture of your brothers with
Justin Fields and and and I said, come out to
the local option anytime I go home. It's the first
stop in a non Celtic Pride way, right that movie
where they kidnapped Damon Waye, Not in that way, just
in a way where your brothers are hanging out with
Justin Fields. That would be awesome if you get it there.
But they can't just like go to his hat. They

(06:57):
can't make that happen that It's got to be a
legit picture where he's enjoying himself and they happen to
get pictures with him. Yeah. No, so I well, we'll
see what we can pull off there. But they did
reach out. There's no question. Are you laughing because you're
you're you're picturing your brother's kidnapping chuts and feel Oh no, no,

(07:17):
look they'd have him, they'd get acquaint him with the men.
You really fast. I got a lot of great craft beers.
Really one of my favorite places. When we get home.
It's like I probably hit it three four times in
a four days stretch. It's like, hey, guys, what do
we what do we have in today? It's just such
a comfortable spot. But I I laughed because part of
it is, at this point, what does ninety dollars get

(07:39):
you food wise? Wherever you are? Amore? No, dude, I
can't tell you. I mean the inflation and what's going
I get that restaurant prices needed to be higher during
the pandemic, because I I understand that, but it's it's
just it's never going back down. That's the roblem is

(08:00):
that now we're used to these being prices, so no
one's gonna cut their prices and say Okay, it's gonna
be less. No, we're just you're okay with that. You
complained about it, and it sucked for a while, but
you know what, Okay, now we're done, and what what
are we? But always their price are you don't really
not go out to eat anymore. People like to go
out and eat and spend their money on going out
to eat. I like to do that. I mean, I'm
still gonna go to McDonald's. I'm still gonna go how

(08:21):
much of the big mac eight dollars? Oh, come on, man,
you're killing me. Give me a big Mac. I mean,
that's how it's still gonna be still going to do
it right what the market will bear. And and I
saw a creative thing, and I think I mentioned on
but it's you know, we'll circle back here, and audience
is always changing. Where there was a bakery, I want
to say it was on the East Coast, not in
New York City, but let's let's put it along that corridor.

(08:45):
And they literally had put up a sign showing what
their bulk prices had done in the last six months,
just to give people an idea of why they're baked goods,
their breads, doughnuts, whatever else they were selling were higher,
and the percentage for just raw sugar, raw flour was

(09:05):
so much higher that it really opened your eyes on
a whole different way. As your margins are already waffer
thin and most of these joints, because that's the thing
that's lost in the process. You know, it's so unless
you're getting people to buy a bunch of booze and whatever, like,
the profit margin on your food isn't isn't nearly as high.

(09:25):
Now if you have the exotics of the the lobsters
and whatever. Here here's the exotic fish of the day
kind of thing that, yeah, you might you might be
able to pick up a couple of extra bucks there,
but yeah, it's while it looks like gouging the the
priced um coefficients there to all of those equations have
really gone out of whack for them. So it's it's

(09:47):
a different world. But yeah, Tom crab crabtree, former packer,
because I agree, get your blank together, uber eats. Wow,
you have a former packer agreeing with a bare quote.
See we can come together on things and and that
and that you think this country is lost, We have
a former packer, fullback legend who I think you know
what what eight career carries had eight touchdowns, and and

(10:08):
and the current Chicago Bears quarterback. If they can get along,
we we can solve our Canadians have chimed in and said,
there Uber Eats version stinks to you mean the hockey
team or the entire country, just people in Canada, okay,
and just on down the line, there's a there's a
bunch of that stuff going through and people are, wow,
it's really mean, I can't even read. Well, you know,

(10:31):
here's the thing and look, and I'll be I'll be
honest with you. Is that I don't know because now
you know, be ordering Uber Eats and door dash. Everybody's
done it now for the better part of the last
two years, and we still can I be honest with you.
Go ahead, never really I am at zero. Wow. Okay.
So you're the guy staying at home with looking at
his people, looking at his people, going keep walking. No

(10:53):
food here out like once a week and we drive
down to Portillo's or something like that where I eat
once in a while when we're in studio here. But look, legitimately,
I've never had or I go get it myself. Okay.
Well for the guy for the other point nine percent
of the non hermits in the United States, there's Harmon.

(11:14):
I'm on the mountain. You take them away all the
people that don't know what an app is to appetizer,
I get cheese sticks all the time. Harmon's that old man.
See the guy with a beer at the top of
the mountain right there, purple hat, shorts. That's him. He's
a very wise man. Hasn't ordered food in thirty But
you know what if you show up at his door
and you and you got a you know, a good

(11:36):
line with you and you're feeling pretty good, I'll probably
feed you. I'm a generous man that way. Yeah. No, No,
you're the guy in the movie that halfway through when
the the the quest that all the protagonists iran. Halfway through,
they meet a friendly face who gives them the urging
on Like you feed them and give them shelter, and
then you tell them a secret that will help them

(11:57):
defeat the dragon and they move on. And you play
a very pivotal role in the movie adding value. Yeah,
that's you, but of of being everybody else. I can't
tell you how disappointed I've been with Uber eats door dash,
so inconsistent with when food gets delivered, food gets delivered cold.

(12:19):
It really and and I tried to figure it out,
Like at some point I was like I had, like
not a spreadsheet, but I had, Okay, here's where we've
ordered from, here's when we've had door dash, how the
food has been when it came and from this restaurant.
Door dash was good McDonald's dash McDonald's used to be.
But I still also just go to McDonald's. Me, come on, man, McDonald's.
I'll go there to get it. But I can't tell

(12:41):
you how disappointed that I've been. And I don't know
if it's just that door dash and Uber Eats gets overwhelmed.
But you gotta figure by now if you're making if
you have that kind of business, you've figured it out.
But that the number of times where stuff has been
late or and and the driver's, oh, I'll be there.
You know I'm not picking up yet. But you see
them at the restaurant having picked it up, and then

(13:01):
they're driving around with you. Why are they not here?
They've had it in their car for twenty five minutes.
How cold is the food gonna be when it gets here?
Like it's really happened way more than I expected I
expected at the beginning of the pandemic that all right,
there's gonna be some to figure this out, laugh for
like seven years. No, but you gotta process, you gotta
take it out of you gotta take that in the

(13:23):
twinkie out of the freezer and time and you're fine.
But that's really I'm I'm really disappointed with how that
hasn't stream blind and gotten better because that that's still
such a haphazard thing. Where you go, where do you
want to order from? Well, we are we okay with
getting door Dash, You okay with getting uber Eats. It's
I mean, that's kind of where how well, no, we'll
cook meals too. But the bigger part of it is

(13:44):
it's not centralized, right, It's anybody can do it. It's
like uber itself and Lift and all those services since
it wasn't centralized, and you know, like the old Louis
de Palma running a cab company on taxi he go.
I got Danny DeVito into the show because Judd Hers
and even that, the great Mary Lou Henner and Christopher

(14:05):
Lloyd go on down, the whole cast. It's a beautiful thing.
But the the fact of the matter is that when
you're dealing with all these independent contracts. They just want
to cut like there there's no quality inefficiency. What are
you gonna do? Rate rate them badly? The only person
you're rating badly is the person who either didn't deliver
your meal, may have eaten part of your meal, or

(14:25):
was late with it. Now the guy who makes nothing
right the uber side of it, like on the business side,
the app side, they don't. They don't care. You're just
one of many people that are ordering the services. Do
you want to hear my theory? Jason, go ahead, Frostburg,
what's your theory? I think they know it's you, so
they're gonna make you wait. Oh, it's sa make that

(14:46):
guy wait, jets fan, that pancake eating. All I gotta
hear is Mike what? Mike what? Yeah? That guy waits.
He waits another twenty five minutes before he gets his food.
I mean, oh, what do you want you gonna do that?
For happened? No, because it hasn't happened. That's something that's

(15:09):
never happened to me. And don't even put it out
there in the world like it could happen. Don't even
do that. What do you think? Nothing? I don't eat mcribbs.
It doesn't matter, It makes no difference. Don't put that
out in the world. Don't put it out there Twitter
at how about a fresca Mike gets swollen. Don The

It's a final in New England, Japan. Wins on on
a disputed touchdown. H. There was a disputed injection. It

(16:36):
was it was not just Daddy objected. The Bills beat
the Patriots four to ten. Uh, they improved to nine
and three. The Patriots fall to six and six. Josh
Allen has a nice night, throws for a couple of touchdowns. Uh.
The Bills serve notice that maybe they have a couple
of running backs that can get the job done. A

(16:57):
very uh. Podest your night for Devin Singletary fifty one
yards in a touchdown. But James Cook, Yeah, I've been
waiting for a while, Dalvin Cook's younger brother. They drafted
him early, waiting for him to arrive four yards rushing,
forty yards receiving, and Buffalo just blows by the Patriots
twenty four to ten. The thing about this game, and

(17:18):
you alluded to it a few minutes ago, Mike is
we watched the Patriots the ball on the doorstep. They
had a second and goal at the four yard line,
and Mac Jones took a sack of about twenty four yards.
One of those plays where I'm I'm dropping back in
the pocket and I'm gonna drop back a little bit
further and look to the right. Nope, I'm gonna come
all the way back to the left, and when I
turned around, I get sacked. And so what could have

(17:40):
been a touchdown maybe cutting the score to ten was
a mac Jones bad play. The Patriots do wind up
getting a field goal, it wouldn't have It wouldn't have
mattered in the grand scheme of things in the game.
Was just watching that mac Jones play and seeing the
Patriots put up ten points against the Bills. I ask
you this now with the story yesterday we got out
of the Athletic that Jeff hal Patriots insider said yesterday,

(18:04):
don't discount Tom Brady back to the Patriots. Don't discount
that that could happen in the off season. It would
just be about what kind of contract Brady would want
uh year to year. It wouldn't be about ego, It
wouldn't be about power. That's it would be about. You
watch this game tonight, and you watch Mac Jones playing
now for the better part of the last season and

(18:25):
a half, and he was given look Matt Jones. He
was supposed to be tom but I was told he
was Tom Brady during training camp last year. I'm never
gonna get tired of saying this. I would use Tommy's
Tom Brady. Matt Jones had an okay rookie year. He
has been he has been. Zack Wilson bad this year.
You cannot go forward if you are the Patriots with

(18:48):
Mac Jones as your quarterback. You can't do it because
after a season and a half, you kind of know
who a quarterback is, right, you have to be able
to at some point show growth. Trevor Lawrence wo will
get too coming up later on in the show, Hey
was just about at that time where you would say,
oh man, oh no, wait, now it looks like Trevor
Lawrence is getting it. Zach Wilson had his chance. They're
turning the page on him. You have seen guy Justin

(19:10):
Fields looked like he was at the point of ahz
he's really gonna be the Bears franchise. Nope, Justin Fields
has gotten it. They're actually trusting him, They're putting plays
in for him. Nope, he's the franchise quarterback. Matt Jones
would have shown by now, Hey, here's my growth, here's
what I'm doing. But the guy's got six touchdowns and
seven picks, right, he's His quarterback rating is well below average.

(19:32):
He was just a guy when the Patriots drafted him.
He was just a guy last year. He's just a
guy now. You can't go forward with him. You can't.
You have to go into the offseason and say, we
need to change a quarterback. And whether it's bringing Tom
Brady back or my favorite, which is gonna be watch
Belichick get involved for Kyler Murray because that's a situation

(19:53):
that isn't gonna play out well in Arizona. You know
they'll be looking to say, let's move on from Cliff Kingsbury,
let's move on from y La Murray. He's got the contract.
People know what they're trading for. Belichick wants the mobile
quarterback to make plays. It's what he's always wanted. It's
why he signed Cam Newton right after Tom Brady left.
They have to go big game hunting quarterback after they
have no choice. If they want to compete. They need

(20:15):
that because even though this game doesn't entirely fall on
Mac Jones's shoulders, you need to be able to score points,
and the Patriots are so limited. You can't win super
Bowls like this, You can't advance on the playoffs like this.
You could do that in the nineties, when you would
have a great rushing attack and a quarterback could make
plays once in a while, and you had a great defense,
you could win Superman. The New York Giants, they were

(20:36):
in the Super Bowl every couple of years because of that. Hey,
we have a great defense. We got guys can run
the football. Simson Hostetler will make plays, Kerry Collins will
make plays. We'll just run Rodney Hampton. We got a
great defense. Oh, super Bowl. So but you can't do
that now. And this is a game that should show you. Hey,
we needed to be able to match the Bills tonight,
to match their dynamic offense. We couldn't do it. Yes,

(20:57):
the Bill's defense is really really good, but our defense
is really really good too. We're gonna need to score points.
Matt Jones is not that guy. And if you are
the Patriots, this is the night where you say, after
this year, we need to move on, and we can't
go draft a quarterback. We can't. We have to find Okay,
what quarterback can we separate from their team. That's gonna

(21:17):
be a guy for the next few years. And it's
not Aaron Rodgers coming from Green Bay. And you know,
if Tom Brady wants to come back, great, but trust me,
Belichick and the Patriots they gotta go. They gotta go
hunting for a quarterback that's gonna be someone like that.
Lamar Jackson is not happy with the Ravens. You don't
want to give him all that money. We'll give you
a bunch of draft picks for the guy. We love

(21:38):
the guy. We'll take Lamar Jackson, We'll take Kyler Murray.
We'll take one of these guys. That's the new breed
of quarterback. Because we have a stable situation here where
the coaching staff is gonna put you in a position
to win. There's never gonna be Lamar Jackson or Kyler
Murray and odds with his head coach and that's not
gonna happen. New England's a strong, stable franchise. Belichick is
the guy running it. You want to go play back,

(22:00):
there's gonna give the autonomy to do what you need
to do. They're gonna go out and get somebody big,
and tonight's the night where you can say, okay, even
if it's not all on Matt Jones, we can't go
forward and think we're gonna make take steps big with
Mac Jones at quarterback. You gotta go someplace else. Yeah,
Obviously in the division, you're you're already looking at two
other teams. You're looking up in Buffalo right now, you're

(22:21):
looking at the Jets. The position is still a giant
question mark there. So we have that rolling around. But
you have Miami who's now building a squad on both
sides of the ball that is, at least on the
surface looking like it could be a rough out for
years to come right to uh with the accuracy has
been there, he's got a coach that's bought into him. Fully,

(22:42):
you've got multiple receivers. They didn't trade Gisicky and go figure.
He's now becoming a bigger part of the offense. You've
brought in Jeff Wilson. Moster, it will get healthy. I mean,
you're you're looking at an offensive squad that's been great
and a defensive side that has been better and will
continue to get better. Uh So, now looking around the division,

(23:02):
it's a tall order to get things done. Defensively, You've
had a pretty good year overall. You're not gonna shut
down Josh Allen and the Bills altogether. The video that
I'm enjoying that's starting to make the rounds on social
media is mac Jones and is so quote throw the
blanket ball, the running game sucks, screaming down the line
to his coordinator and everything else. Stevenson had a sixteen

(23:25):
yard run averaged over five yards to carry. When you
include that, otherwise you're looking at sub four. Obviously, when
Jones asked to scramble, it's an adventure. Uh, the fact
that Damian Harris is unavailable, that doesn't help the cause.
So you get on down the line and you've got
Matt Patricia running your offense. It kind of goes back
to that, right, anybody can do this unless they can't.

(23:48):
So we've we've got that flowing. So I don't think
Matt mac Jones is is awful. I just don't think
he's the fit there. He's not. He hasn't been healthy
full on. We had the Baili's Happy experiment early on.
We know their inability to find and retain wide receivers
here in the process, but it goes if you're gonna

(24:12):
do the Tom Brady thing, Yeah, you bring Brady back
over him, even if it's for just a year. He
hasn't done enough to earn any of that, right if
you can go out and get one of these other quarterbacks,
you haven't seen enough to say well, we shouldn't pay
in No, because how many years is Belichick gonna keep going?
Maybe honest farewell tour like an Elton John in another
six seven years? And then you'll laugh, ago, all right,

(24:34):
what's the legal ease here? What what's the what's the
terminology that I'm missing that's gonna allow him to get
back behind the piano or put a hoodie back on that.
That's the type of thing that we go through. But
for for the Patriots, yeah, all of those are options.
The Ravens are gonna end up having to pay Lamar
the franchise tag. We've talked about that. We know that

(24:55):
that is really where we're headed, unless there's a huge
change in Arizona. I had fired Kingsbury and figure out
who Kyler can can work for. But I like your
thought of a stable organization, of which there are a few.
Do you like Kenny Pickett? Do you like Kyler better
than him. I don't know, but where where you know

(25:17):
the coach isn't in trouble and it's my way or
the highway. That's the other part of it, right, because
so many of these other coaches get rung through so fast.
Kyler Murray seems like he needs a guy to be like,
all right, this is the way we do things, as
opposed to the Cliff Kingsbury way. Yeah, you need a
coach with cash, a that everybody's gonna listen to. And
are they really listening to Cliff Kingsbury? I mean you

(25:38):
can see you can see that it's been at arms
length with Kingsbury and Kyler Murray for a long time.
And you can see that Lamar Jackson and the Ravens
organization is it arms like they forget about the respect
that he would have for for harbaught you, but but
him in the organization, Hey, this is an organization. You
can tell that he doesn't trust because you know Steve
shot he doesn't want to pay a money. So it

(25:58):
gets as if you don't have that that same page
uh situation. Yeah, you're not gonna be happy. You're not
gonna be someone that produces at a high level, and
you can see I can see the Patriots getting involved
and saying, okay, we need to make a big change
of quarterback. And what falls into their lap on it
is that when you go draft for a quarterback and

(26:21):
it doesn't work, it's hard to go draft again because
you just got it wrong unless you wind up with
the number one overall pick. Right, if you draft a
guy and he plays for a couple of years, it
doesn't work out and you stink, and then you have
the number one pick. Okay, then you're drafting a quarterback.
But the Patriots are gonna finish middle of the pack.
Maybe they'll be able to make a playoff run of
some kind. But you can't just there and say, okay,

(26:41):
now we're gonna go in the draft for a quarterback,
it's to be someone who's a project and may take
a couple of years they need to go established, and
someone who has already done things in the NFL. And
you have two young veteran quarterbacks that would a be
open to a change of scenery and be want to
go do it on a where they know they're going
to be put in a position to succeed, and you're

(27:03):
not stepping in for Tom Brady. You're stepping in for
the guy who stepping in for Tom Brady, which is
not that big a deal. I mean, if Bill Belichick
wants to win, it's what he has to do in
the off season. I know he wants to win with
a bunch of no names and nobody else to show Hey, Tom,
I'm better than you. But he's got to be able
to make that big decision that, Okay, f them picks,

(27:24):
what do you want for Lamar Jackson. We're gonna give
you all kinds of money, Lamar for the next three
or four years. Hey, Kyler Murray, who's not quite as
good as Lamar Jackson but has the talent. We're gonna
make sure. We're gonna have Josh McDaniels back. His boy.
He's getting fired, so we're gonna have him back. He's
gonna be able to show you what how how we
do things here and and we're gonna we're gonna make
you into the All Pro quarterback that you could that

(27:45):
you could wind up being because you've shown flashes of that.
That's what they absolutely have to do because he can
only try to make it happen for a quarterback for
so long, even even Gretchen Wieners trying and only could
make fetch happen for so long before finally, uh, Regina,
George has listen, it's not gonna stop. Okay, If that's
just not gonna well, it's only because the movie ended
and it's actingers no scratch, I'm pretty sure it scratching

(28:12):
weeners to look up. See now you've taken it down
a deep dark path. Uh so there you go. Oh yeah, yeah,
one last thing off of that, Yeah, that analysis. If
it wasn't for um, the Jets Patriots would have two wins.
Uh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Thanks for bringing

(28:32):
me down right there, buddy. Well, I thought you were
riding a little too high. You got on your high
horse about you know how antiquated an old man I was,
because I don't, you know, pay delivery services to bring
me food, and I'm a bad guy, not to mention
that it screws the local restaurants. But that's a whole
other analysis for another. Be sure to catch live editions

So we got t n F in the books. Mike Carmen,
that's a final, it's a final, Bills, Mac Jones is mad.

(29:37):
Josh Allen showed up on setting is Ryan Fitzpatrick Jersey.
I mean, I was right with the world. I saw that.
It's like, hey, I'm gonna pay an homage to Ryan Fitzpatrick.
I thought that was pretty cool. Well, and you look
at what Josh Allen was able to do over the
course of the night. Only twenty yards rushing, so didn't
give you the love there. Did have the fumble, but
two touchdown passes to the guys that you need into

(30:00):
score touchdowns for you digs the touchdown maker two and
a score. Gabe Davis only two catches for fifteen yards,
but he found the end zone. So he gave you
that quality w R three results. Now here's where things
are gonna get a little sticky for the Buffalo Bills. Right,
they win tonight, they were expected to win their nine

(30:20):
and three. Everything looks pretty good. Yeah, and now Odell
Beckham Jr's victory tour begins. Right, it's gonna be Buffalo,
it's gonna be the Giants, and it's gonna be the
Dallas Cowboys. Right, those are the three teams he's going to.
He wants to sign with one of those teams. We
find out today because the the Bills win a game tonight,
they're gonna meet with Odell Beckham tomorrow. Because the first

(30:41):
stop is Buffalo. Uh, he's not gonna work out, Uh
danger Will Robinson, danger danger. Odell's not gonna work out.
He's not gonna show you that he's recovered from the
tour in a c L. Look. I get that guys
don't work out when they do training can't when they do.
I complete. I completely understand that, But when you're coming

(31:06):
off a tour and a c L, I really want
to see you work out this minute. I told you
I had pause. I wouldn't sign Odell Beckham right now,
because you're not gonna get what you think you're gonna get.
This gives me even more reason to say, Yeah, I'm
staying away from Odell. O'Dell is coming off a big
time injury, not a year removed from it. He's not

(31:26):
been with the team, he's not been rehabbing with the team.
A team has not been able to keep a track
on his rehab. And Okay, is he ahead of schedule?
He's behind schedule? What can he do now? What can
he not do? You are flying blind and going into
to sign Odell Beckham Jr. And you want him to
jump in in the heat of a race for the playoffs.
How many games are gonna take Odell Beckham to really

(31:48):
get up to speed before he's really a difference maker
as much of a difference maker as O'Dell can be,
because he's not the same guy. You want him to
be as close to whatever O'Dell was last year. Right,
that's kind of where you're at. The Odell that was
contributing for the Rams on their way into the Super Bowl.
You want to be that guy, the the threat who
can be a wide receiver three or a borderline ride

(32:09):
receiver too. That's still you need to pay attention to.
You want him to be that guy you're looking at
to be the number one guy, but I don't know
that he can even be that. And and the way
these teams are looking at it like like the Cowboys
have it in their heads that Odell is gonna be
their savior, and the same thing for the Bills. Hey,
Von Miller is talking up Odell players. I'm sure we're
exciting oh Odell, O'Dell Odela, But from a football standpoint,

(32:32):
what are you really gonna get from him? You have
no idea where this guy is as far as what
he's gonna people to do on the field. And let's
say it takes some four or five games to get
up to speed, the season's over. By then, the season's over.
You're you're in week seventeen. The season's finished. I I
this is not the same Odell that you could have
made a move for last year. This is a much
different situation. And to think that you're gonna get that

(32:55):
out of O'Dell, you know, I would stay away. And
you know the fact that I'm seeing these teams say, hey,
maybe Odell is our savior. The Giants, you know, we're
looking at it that way too. We had a great start,
but now we've lost a couple of games in a
row because we're really limited. Oh, O'Dell is coming in.
All three of these teams, they all think o'della is
the missing piece, right, The bills are all saying, Odell,
come on, man, come here, man, we're gonna win this.

(33:16):
He's not the missing piece. It's not an adult and
and and somebody is gonna learn a really valuable lesson
on it and go oh man, Odell is just a
guy right now because he's still trying to come back
from a big time injury and he needs more time
to work his way back into game shape. He's not
just gonna hit the field and catch six passes for
seventy five yards. Uh too. I was anti signing him
before because of that, but after today finding out he's

(33:38):
not gonna work out, Yeah, I can't. I I can't
do it. I can't just bring you one not knowing
what you're gonna be when we sign you to a contract. Well,
the thing is you're you're not giving him big money,
and that's all finding good. Uh So, that's that's not
part of the equation. But it is the psychology of it.
What are you truly anticipating your getting? Look from outside
looking in with the number of players that have stepped forward,

(34:02):
you know what I mean, I think we'd all stipulate
to that any any misgivings, any anything you might have
had about Odell the man, the teammate, whatever, throw those out,
because these guys wouldn't be falling all over themselves to
get in front of a microphone to talk about him otherwise.
So that's one thing. So a lot of those little
things that were going on allegedly in New York and

(34:24):
now maybe you can shuffle some of those away. Now
the Giants need a wide receiver, so they would be
in terms of true desperation. Right, there's perceived desperation based
on how much we're talking about a guy and saying, oh,
come on in and doing the recruiting pitch versus actual need.
And the Giants are by far the neediest of the teams.

(34:45):
I think we can we can agree on that. Oh dude,
it's a kim Nicks if they if they don't sign
Odell Beckham, that's right. But you get the point, right, Hey,
a Marie Cooper, you got a couple more not a
Marie Cooper. Uh, victory our Victor Bruce, Right, you got
a little salts to left in you. You got a
couple more routes. But the the idea being that receiving

(35:06):
corps and sat Quan Barkley can only do so much
as a one man band. I like Daniel Jones perhaps
more than others. Uh not exactly been given a full
deck to work with there in terms of a receiving corps.
A lot of money spent, not a lot of production. Fine,
Darius Slayton has been good in spots, but we we
look at the bills. Isaiah Mackenzie's back and healthy. You

(35:28):
got Gabe Davis, you got obviously Stefon Diggs. Run game
with Cook Single Terry and Alan himself. You've got a
lot of component parts. So Odell would be able to
be a guy. And as long as he's like the
perception of himself is in check, I e. I'm one
of the guys and not hey, I'm coming in to
be the number one, then Buffalo is a fit. The

(35:51):
Cowboys are a fit. Problem is with the Cowboys, they've
built it up like you know, it's the second Coming.
Because the recruiting is off the chart. And while Jerry
can't help himself so need wise, obviously the giants are first.
But the fact that he won't work out, Yeah, here's
your real minimum paraded salary and I'll be ready to

(36:14):
move on immediately. Twitter. And how about Afresca Mike gets swollen,
dumb caveat emptor let the buyer beware. Someone's gonna make
that Odell mistake. It's gonna happen. Uh Coming up next,
Speaking of big NFL mistakes, uh is one about to
be rectified? That's straight ahead from the Direct dot Com

(36:35):
Studios's your bad one.
