and ever. Mike and I love putting this content out
for you every single night. Well, here we are the
two big NBA games of the night. We have one
game seven coming up on Sunday. That's just because the
(01:12):
San Antonio Spurs absolutely obliterated the Timberwolves one thirty nine
to one oh nine, winning the series four games to two.
And here we are San Antonio and Oklahoma City, a
star studded Western Conference final from two of the smallest
markets in the NBA. Who says that parody doesn't work, Uh,
(01:32):
monster markets today. We we kind of saw this coming,
like once you hit December, hit and the and the
Spurs started winning, and you saw that Wenby was becoming
the best player in the league. It was, well, here's
how we're gonna end the year, and well here we
are at the end, and uh, this is how we're
gonna end the year.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
And all just comes back to are you healthy when
it matters? And for Victor wendin Yama, we had the
scare when he was knocked out, Uh after that fall
to the to the court, back at early in the series,
but back and full effect and big performance from what
six seven guys in double figures in a blowout win tonight.
(02:12):
But Oklahoma City, I mean they cruised through without their
second best player. I mean we could fight about Chet
versus Jalen Williams are two two A and flop them
back and forth. But and Shay Gilgess. Alexander didn't play
all that great, which means there's another level to be had.
Maybe there's a little bit of the blueprint in terms
(02:33):
of double team and force him out. But you've got
so many other players that can knock down shots. I
can't wait for the chess match of this next series
because you got two very young teams. I mean, we
could get into the one thirties before it's all said
and done. Let's go.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, I mean this series is really gonna be something, right,
Like I thought the Spurs the te Wolves was gonna
get there. But the Spurs, you know, clearly showed their
dominance and we saw that Anthony Edwards really needs somebody
else that can take the scoring burden off of him
from time to time, and they don't have that. But
I mean this series, I mean, this is you're talking
about the defending champs, as good as they are, and
(03:08):
the ascending Spurs, who are becoming the best team. You know,
maybe by this time next like like I said, be
the end of the year last year, Hey, by this
time next year, we're calling Wenby the best player in
the NBA. Look at where we are, We're ahead of
the curve by a year sometimes like next year. At
this point might be saying it's the Spurs out of
the best team and the Thunder are trying to catch
up to them. But I mean this has that kind
(03:28):
of star studded Western Conference final to it, and this
is what's great about the end. It's what I like
is that it doesn't need to be the big market teams.
This doesn't need to be big market for people to
love it because the love and hate has already built
into the Oklahoma City Thunder. I can't stand their style
of play, too many free throws. I hate Sga Wemby.
Look how great he is. Everything he wants to do it.
(03:50):
It's built to tune in and for one time, for
this time in the NBA. It doesn't matter that you're
talking about market forty and market forty five, you know
whatever San Antone and Oklahoma City are, So it really
doesn't matter. It's going to be a star studded finals
and that's a big graduation day for the NBA. No.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
And I think that's the beauty of where the league
is and where it sits right now, is that it's
it's not about market. It's always been about you. Know
star power, no question about it. And at this point
for the Thunder, even if you don't love the style
of what the Thunder bring to bear, well, now they're
becoming that team you hate because there they are again. Right,
(04:29):
It's like the Spurs were. Not that you necessarily hated
the Duncan led Spurs, but they didn't inspire a whole
lot of oohs and ohs when they were winning each
and every year, right, and getting back to finals with
the Thunder, it's even that much quicker. Remember how enamored
everybody was briefly with the Warriors before they decided, Okay,
(04:50):
I'm over because I'm tired of these guys, right, and
where we were doing exactly what we did in this
scenario with the conference finals anyway, Jason of he used
to have that whiteboard. We had the list of people
that were dead to Frostburg, and then we had all, right,
who which teams can compete for an NBA title. In
the Eastern Conference it was Lebron and the Cavaliers, and
(05:12):
you had to force yourself to put a second team
there because they had to play somebody to get to
the finals. And then in the Western Conference it was
the Warriors, and all right, begrudgingly you might add one
or two teams there, but that's where we are. And
with the thunder right now, it's kind of right back
to that level of it. And you have to decide
are you hate watching to see either the Spurs and
(05:35):
when Minyama get over or eventually all the crazed Knicks
or Pistons fans or Cavaliers fans, if James Harden can
lead them there. And if he does, then I'm getting
a hardened jersey. I will, I'll grow a big beard.
I'm glad you brought up the next right, I didn't
have to. I'm glad you brought up the next because well,
(05:55):
I mean they're there. I mean they're they're in the
ether at the moment. They're gonna save the NBA playoffs.
They're not anything.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
We are waiting for Game seven. After the Pistons beat
the Calves tonight one, fifteen ninety four in a series
that you just shrug and go, of course, is going
to game seven, right and after tonight and after all
the things that have gone on, there is one thing
that and and I probably shouldn't say it. I probably
shouldn't put it out there, but I think it, so
(06:25):
I have to say it. It's hard to not watch
the Pistons and the Cavaliers and not think the next
series is Nixon four le No four Nix. Look at
look the Pistons and the Calves. The Pistons were dead
after after the final five minutes in overtime a game five. Right,
they were done. They were done. They were making stupid mistakes,
(06:46):
they were careless, they were cooked. The Cavaliers are coming home.
James Harden had three games in a row where he
was fantastic, Okay, and what happens. They're terrible. The Calves
were absolutely abysmal tonight. And here are the Pistons, who
again don't get a great game from Cade Cunning in
every game he's seven of nineteen, six out of eighteen.
But they get the bench to come over, and hey,
(07:07):
one time in a series, you're gonna get the bench
to play well. The bench comes through for the Pistons,
and they don't just win, they win by twenty. Right.
Neither of these teams are like, hey, we've hit the
next level. We are we are using this second round
as a springboard. We're finally playing our best basketball. No,
these two teams are not playing impressive at all. They
(07:28):
are just trying to hold on. Somebody's gonna throw the
final punch on Sunday. You have to think it'll be
the Pistons because they're playing at home. But it doesn't matter, Jason,
no difference. Home court advantage means absolutely nothing in these
but it makes no difference whoever comes out of this
Nixon four. The Knicks are the outside of the Thunder.
(07:48):
And now you see what the Spurs has done the
last couple of games, and that's badness. Jason, looks like
the Spur Frostburg just worry about Luka Doncic being cleared
for Game five. Why just just just worry about that man.
When he's cleared for Game five, the Lakers will win.
They will win. But like, that's why this is kind
of bad news for the Thunder because here come the Spurs.
Maybe they're hitting their next level now, because that's what
(08:10):
it looks like in this series with the Timberwolves. But
tell me, either of these teams look like they're anything
but just we're throwing. We're two tired boxers in the
fifteenth round and we're just trying to throw a couple
of punches here to get us on the scorecard before
we get to a decision. I can sit on my
stool in the corner of the ring. That's what the
Pistons and the Cavaliers look like. Because who are the
(08:31):
two best teams in the playoffs up until now? The
Thunder and the Knicks. Who have the best offense in
the playoffs. The Knicks. Knicks offense is better than the Thunder.
They're winning games by fifty sixty points. Their defense has
been really good. The Knicks have just played that well.
I wish I could have you actually disagree with me
on it. It said there would be an actual like
Rick Buker when he says I wish I could disagree
(08:52):
with how good the Knicks are playing, but I can't.
The Knicks are just playing at that high level. This
is their time now. I found last year at this
time was their time. This is their time. They're just
playing that much better. And now you're gonna have an
exhausted team coming off of this. It's got to turn
around in thirty six hours and play a game. Good luck,
man Nixon four.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
This is where I shake you and say snap out
of it, slap you like I'm share.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
All right, Uh, there's Moonstruck.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Moruck got back moon right. Well, Nick Cage was out
promoting the new Spider Man Noir Spider Noir film and
whatever else, So it all plays together. But the point
being that that's what the Knicks did. That doesn't necessarily
predict what's going to happen. And we have seen plenty
(09:39):
of times in the past where Jalen Brunson looks fresh
and then he don't. And I know, Anna nob He's
coming back, and that's fantastic. And Kat's been a great facilitator,
much like the aforementioned Bill Cartwright all those years ago,
and Lukey of those Bulls teams.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Dude, you know how I know that Jalen Brunson's fine
because Tibbs isn't the coach, because he's out of the
games when they're up by thirty the beginning of the
fourth quarter, not in the game with a minute and
a half to go. It's what TIBs would have them
doing with a thirty point lead. I gotta leave, gotta
leave Brunson and Cat and everybody in until there's a
minute and a half left. Then I'll pull them all from
the game.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
No, I'm not worried again that thirty point burial was yesterday. Okay,
it was last week, and a lot of sitting around,
maybe a lot of opportunity to find parties that aren't
the met Gala parties for your Nicks cast of stars.
But when we look at it, once we get back
into a series, young guys, they could still rally, go on,
(10:39):
get a good night's sleep, sleep in a hyperbaron chamber,
and let's go.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
You could go to Cabo tonight and then come back
in two days and still be ready for the game,
because you know, but it's been five days since they played.
It's another four days since they played. But here's where
everything else is coming up, Nix is because with this delay,
right be starting on Tuesday. Now, the Eastern Conference Final
starts Tuesday the nineteenth. Uh O, Giano, Noby's got two
(11:05):
weeks now full two weeks. He's back a full participate
in practice, which means he's going to be clear he actually.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
No the Luca plan for Game five.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Luke Luke Luke, uh jealous, dude. I'm just saying I'm happy.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
That Lucas he's very angry.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Luca. I was happy that Luca was able to and
get cleared for game five. That's a big thing. It's
cleared for game five. This is this is now, and
Noby's gonna play. I mean this is look, this is
time now, Jelly like this, this is their time. Now,
this is it.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
It's it's in you and everybody else is dude.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
They're one of the final four teams in the playoffs
for the second year in a row. I'm your peak.
Conty good about the Knicks being legitimate.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Actually that is true. This is not the NZ double
A tournament. The final four and peacocky is is perhaps
a bit much.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Now four, No final four, this is the nixt their
second I got a final four t shirt.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
No, look, I celebrate the hell out. You know how
much I love Jalen Brunson. Yeah, I don't know, but
I mean there there's component parts to this next team.
I love now, the collective narrative and all these half assed,
seedless and dless celebrities that are jumping on board kind
of done as well as you know folks claiming them
as as their team. No, I mean nobody's lived and
(12:31):
died with it. I've watched you age rapidly from this
squad and your Mets for many a year now. But
when we look at the next series, I mean again
past performance. If it's a thirty point game, then great,
Mike Brown will have them out. I'm gonna go out
a limb and say, there's a bunch of defense, and
the shots that fell quite so easily in the next
round perhaps don't. And the basketball gods have a way
(12:55):
of eating some of these things out and not everybody's
a quick and easy exit. Predicting your sweep, I love it.
I mean, if you go in and you bet that,
and you cash in and you're licking bills and you
get one of those little bill shooters and you're mocking
me here in the studio, that would be great for
the show. It ain't gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Listen. I hear what you were saying. Whatever you just said,
everything you just said, the last one I get. But
I have three words for you. Let me Nixon four
Nix in full.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
You know what I'm gonna pay Dan House and human
money is to curse you and your nicks. I saw
how well it goes when he took the curse off
the Mets. Yeah that worked really well. Yeah he didn't really.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Danse send don to his house for a hug. Oh
no hug.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
No no, no the Knicks. No, no, no, no, the Knicks.
No no hugs. No.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
He is not used to do not He does not
hug any member of the Knicks. No, no, no, no
hugs from Mom Donnie. Uhh not out? Are you kidding?
He could show up Brunston's house. Brinson would slimy hunt Jason.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
I was gonna say, if anybody can find proof and
evidence of a hug being administered in the last week
to any Knicks player official or anybody that works in
the mailroom, I'd appreciate it. At Swollen Dome.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
No, Jason is just one, but no time limit.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
How long is this.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Hug going on? For a little too long? Goo boy
exit op about a Fresco exit Swollen Dome. Jason Smith

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Fox Sports Radio, The Jason Smith Show with my best
friend Mike Harmon, we preview the biggest sporting event of
the weekend coming up in a few minutes. This Tyshert
was gonna try to sneak in the butt fumble. Wait
is it the cock fighting story? Brady's the greatest of
all time? Oh no, no, no extra cockfight. Tom Moore
and Dad Tom Congratuation's got a new gig eighty six
(16:29):
years old. Tom Moore got that new gig this week.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Stay hungry, But.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
One more big playoff note from tonight Right, the Cavaliers
horrible effort tonight at home, going for the closer. The
Pistons come out in the third quarter, blow the doors
off of them. They win by twenty one, fifteen ninety four.
And really this team has become as James Harden goes,
(16:56):
so go the Cavaliers. He was awful in the first
two games. He was terrific in the last three games.
But what did I say after Game five? James Harden
has been terrific. The last three games have been great.
Let's see if he's got anything left in the tank.
The last three games have been great. Now they're up
three too. He's been though he was the best player
on the floor. In Game five, he should have been
(17:17):
taken the shot in the final minute of Game five.
He was their best player. Let's see if he got
anything left. And look what happened in Game six, Harden
another game. Now, over a quarter of his playoff games,
James Harden has had more turnovers than he's had made
baskets six out of thirteen from the floor tonight. Seven
turnovers for him on the eight turnovers for him on
(17:38):
the night. Look, this is playoff Harden man. Like again,
what we've seen for most of his career. It's not
that he's been terrible, but it's been when it comes
down to it and the and his team is counting
on him to lead them through, he doesn't do it. Man,
he can't. Right when did he play his best basketball
this year when the pressure was off? When you're down
(17:58):
to zip going home, Okay, this series is over, man,
I can just go play loose and things can However,
it turns out to be right. Hey, two to one, two, two,
Hey we're going back. Hoba, Hey we're up three to two.
Now suddenly the world, Hey, everybody, James Harden, look how
good he is? And this is what happens to James Harden.
This is just who he is. This is just who
James Harden and Joel Embiid are. They've been in the
league long enough to know that they're not going to
(18:20):
be someone that after a couple of years or three
or four years, they hit another level of their development
and they get what they need to do in the playoffs.
They become a more consistent player, and they work on
their part of the games that really gives them trouble. Whatever.
These aren't those guys, man. You just know that. Okay,
sometimes Harden's gonna show up and he's gonna be really good,
and sometimes he's gonna show up and he's gonna be
tripping over the basketball and turning it over in really
(18:43):
bad times and you can't trust him with the ball
at the end of a game. That's just who James
Harden is. And that was on display tonight when they
needed another game because Donovan Mitchell in another hot and
cold series for him, He's six to twenty from the floor,
and you're not gonna winin that.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
No, I was gonna say that that's the guy that
needs to draw more iire. I mean, you look at
his last two games, he's thirteen for thirty eight, he's
been awful, and for the series, he's shooting twenty eight
percent from three point range. As much as we want
to wear hard now, I mean because it is a
true narrative, and he's struggled, and certainly the turnovers. I
was more pissed for his passivity than that he started
(19:20):
off three or four first quarters and then he took
three shots.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Yeah, like, what are you doing? Are you tired? If
you're tired, come out of the game and then go
back in the game when when you're not tired anymore? Like,
how does he just do? He just finds a way
to disappear for so long? I mean, I mean really,
but this is James Harden, Like, there's no rhyme ory,
there's his game is completely unpredictable.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Yeah, that was the bigger issue for me. It was
just all right, they need you cause your number one
guy ain't shooting for anything in this series. All right,
A couple of decent games where he got himself back
to fifty percent, uh and and that's all finding good.
But a couple of these games he's been awful and
you've had to be the guy to bay them. Out,
you've had to have your secondary options really pick up.
(20:04):
But thirteen to thirty eight, the last two games you won,
the first in overtime. Tonight you get absolutely drubbed because
you're more or less a no show and shooting terribly.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
You know.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
For the Pistons, they dominated in the points in the
paint once again and did the job right. It certainly
forty eight twenty six was the difference there. Fast break
points were more or less even, as were the turnovers
to it all. But you know, once the Pistons started
running away and hiding in that third quarter, that was it,
(20:37):
and both both teams most of the opportunities were in
the restricted area in the paint, and the Pistons capitalized.
The Cavaliers have a lot of empty circles for your
kid to color with your favorite crme.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
But again, this is why I say Nixon four because
as you say, yes, it's Dono Mitchell been good this series.
No he's not tell me one guy who shot the ball? Well,
this series can't. There's nobody. I mean that's win. The
series is like that. This looks like a level below
shooting brilliantly. I just bully you.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
To go bully Carlo Anthony Towns back into and he'll
be in foul trouble, so he won't even be on
the court to help facilitate.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Nix and four. That's all nix and four, Nix and four.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Nick, And I'm trying to help you sleep night. You know,
at night, extra cocked, we'll get to Edwin dis trouble,
get to that extra cock fight. Uh So, as we
wait now for Game seven, it is time Smith, what
was it seven years? Right?
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Is not doing your time? Okay? Uh? As we wait
for the cas and the Pistons for Game seven on
Sunday tomorrow night, we get the sporting event of the weekend.
We you know a lot of uh anticipation for this,
and I'm really surprised how much I like this because normally,
if you want to give me a big sporting event
that's one hundred percent nostalgia, I'll say, yeah, pass right.
(22:07):
I don't need to see Mike Tyson fight again. I
don't need to see Manny Pacquiao fight again. I don't
need to see Floyd Mayweather fight again. Like I don't
need to see any of these things. These guys are forty
five fifty years old. What do I need to see
this for right, it's money grab, it's all of these things.
But maybe it's because of the recency of it. But
I can't wait for Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano tomorrow
night on Netflix, like I can't wait because this is
(22:29):
since this was announced, I've been excited to see it. Right,
you're talking about Ronda Rousey was a mythical figure in
sports when she was running through the women's division in
the UFC, and then suddenly a couple of bad losses
and she's gone and jumps to WWE, where she was
popular for a long time, and now she's out of that.
(22:49):
Now she's back here and she's just been so incredibly
watchable for what she does in her career. And you
have Gina Carrano who went from who was the conduit
that that got you to where we are where Ronda
Rowsey could come in and take over the women's division
where Coronto shows up and she's incredibly popular, and she
goes and starts doing movies and TV shows. And obviously, yes,
(23:11):
she had controversy with the Mandalorian and stuff you know,
away from from movies and TV, but you know, she's
been incredibly popular the last few years, and I don't
know if it's just the recency is still there and
the relevancy for the two of them are still there.
But I really I can't wait for this fight tomorrow night,
even though I know I feel pretty good, I know
how it's gonna go. I can't wait for this tomorrow night.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Now.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
I was emotional today when Gina Carno put on her post.
She lost one hundred pounds in the last year and
four or five months to make this fight happen. How
she was thankful to Ronda Rousey for waiting for her
when the fight was Hey, I gotta lose weight. She
weighed two hundred and forty two pounds and now she's
weighing in one hundred and forty one and a half
for this fight. And it's and for you, know, for
(23:53):
you and I who've lost a ton of weight the
last year doing PhD weight loss. Like I see it
and I get what it means someone to have that
kind of influence in their life, whatever it is to
get you to that point. And here's Gina Carronto. Maybe
it was the push of fighting Ronda Rousey that got
her to get out of a pre diabetic stage. And
(24:13):
get healthy again and get there. But I mean, really like,
there's so much with this fight. I can't wait to
see this tomorrow night again. Even though I sure I
know how it's gonna end. I can't wait for this thing.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Yeah, we'll get into the odds and all that fun
stuff in a second. I mean, some of it is
just very plainly it's Ronda Rousey and her history. And
certainly you were obsessed once upon a time with every fight,
and as we were right on the men's side, it
was Connor McGregor and how quickly you dispatched to people.
For those a little bit older, you remember the anticipation
(24:44):
of what Mike Tyson did to people. It was quick
easily dispatched opponents along the way. And for Ronda Rousey
then into where I operate a little more than you do,
talking about the world wrestling entertainment and all the chaos
part of the Four Horsewomen and everything else she had
going on there, which she'd been better with the mic.
(25:05):
We could have given her some pointers and helped her
out there, but from the physicality of stuff it played
just as well. Now you get to this next phase,
mom and all this other stuff. For Corono the weight loss.
But let's call it what it is. You know, it's
a little bit of being starstruck. And these women back
into the limelight under this what is it MVP Promotions
(25:29):
or whatever the outfit is called their first event here
on Netflix. So there's that curiosity. What do you got
left in the tank after all these years? I mean,
how Corono hasn't fought since two thousand and nine and
running around and beating the hell out of people in
the Mandalorian and all that stuff. She did eventually settle
that lawsuit of wrongful termination with Disney and Lucasfilm and
(25:49):
everything else.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Hey, that's Fernando Laurian. Now, Fernando Mendoza says he's the
Fernando Laurian.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
It's the most interesting thing he's ever said or done.
It's like Mike Trout being a weather officient.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Yes, yeah, but I don't know how interesting that is.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
No, but that's the point in a desert, a one
drop of water really works.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Okay, all right, now for the fight tomorrow. As you said,
I know, Ronda Rousey is an overwhelming favorite. I mean,
it would it would take. I can't see how Gina
Corono wins simply because right now, just think about the
last few years for each of them. Ronda Rowsey hasn't
(26:32):
fought since twenty sixteen, Right, it's been ten years. Think
about that. That's how long it's been for Ronda Rowsey
since she had her last MMA fight. But she's been
very active. She went to WWE, she was still doing
things very physically for a living. She was she was
in shape. She was in shape to to to be
a WWE wrestler. So while she hasn't been fighting, her
(26:54):
life has still been that where look Gina Carano, Now
you go to Gina Corono. She hasn't fought almost twenty years. Man,
Like you're going back seventeen years for her last fight.
She's six years older than Ronda Rousy is. And when
she spent the last year and a half, which is awesome. Again,
I can't get over and I'm so happy for her,
(27:15):
Like when you spend the last year and a half, Hey,
I'm getting in shape, but I'm losing one hundred pounds,
Like this is not just I'm training. I'm losing one
hundred pounds so I can fight. I don't see her
coming into this with the stamina or the training that's
needed to be able to get to this, right, And that's.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
The point is stamina was always a question mark.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Right. But I mean, but you're saying, here's Gina Carano
who now is older, hasn't fought twice as long, and
is coming back physically from getting herself into shape. How
long can this fight really last? Like, if this fight
goes more than two minutes, I'll be really surprised. It
should be Ronda Rousy under two minutes. Probably the first
forty five seconds or so, they'll feel each other out
a bit, but this should be Ronda Rousi whether it's
(27:58):
the armbar or not. Maybe a she wins by arm bar.
This wile jumpstart her again and people want to see
her in the in you know, in the octagon again
and fight and she gets back into this and there's
big pay per view events for her. But uh, if
this isn't Ronda Rousey in under two minutes, I will
be extremely surprised.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
See, And that's why I'm taking the upset, the the upstart.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure, whatever, you're just being Devil's advocate
taking that, that's all you.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Maybe I'm a bigger ginaan.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
I'm a bigger fan of the Mandalorian than I was
the Entourage movie. So there, haha, yes, I mean there.
The one thing I will say for you, the one
thing I will say for you is she was in
the Mandalorian. This is the Mandalorian time with Mandalorian and
Grogu coming out. Now we just had the premiere, so
it may like just like the just like the Mets
(28:50):
had been able to win bringing up a guy named
Ewing while the Knicks were on this big run. Maybe
Gina Carano, you know, while the man it's a Mandalorian
and Grogu's time, this is the time for her.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Maybe she wins and all of a sudden that five
million dollar puppet that was on the Red Carpets there
to raise her arm I don't.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Know, oh, or maybe she's gonna lose and like like
and and and Ronda Rousey goes in for the arm bar,
but Grogu comes in and stops her somehow. And he's
like he's like sitting in the top of the octagon
and you just see him moving his hands. And the
thing is nobody would care. They would all say, yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Stop grog But here's the other connection. Who is the
director and mine behind the Mandalorian in that part of
the universe. Ooh uh, Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, John Favreau,
who wants upon a time was on Friends as Monica's
boyfriend Pete Sure who wanted it to be the ultimate
(29:45):
fighting champion. This is his chance.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Yeah, that is true. Nobody would care if you had
Grogu come in and did something to fix the fight
for Gina Carno, Nobody would care.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Well, it's like that guy. That's awesome, that wrestler who
dresses like Jesus and then throws people around.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Can't you just see the interview with Tina Carono wins
and holding him up while she's doing the inoctagon. Well,
I am helping my friend right here, isn't that right?
And then she feeds him like a fish or whatever.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
I know, frog a frog frog comes by and snaps
it up.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
Gina goes, well, you know Rondo is a great competitor. Oh,
thanks a lot. Here you go just starts throwing frogs
too while she's doing the interview.
