listening to Fox Sports Radio, Hello, Welcome inside final Hour
tonight the Jason Smith Show with my babes friend Mike Harmon.
Big night in the NBA. Just when I say things like,
oh my goodness, man, we don't have any good games
in the NBA, we have a night with ten games.

(00:45):
If we're lucky, we get one game that's closed. While
I put that out there in the universe, tonight we
had a plethora. Would you say there was a plethora, Yeah,
of big games. Tonight we had the drama with the
Lakers and the Nuggets. Lebron James again at the end
of games going Nope, not gonna take shots, not gonna
help you win the game, gonna passed the Marcus Smart
let him try to win the game to do it,

(01:05):
but I mean, he tried to help them win the
game because he believes that is the in the best
interest and if he comes up with a giant statistical
report to that effect, I'd like to hear it. Yeah.
Maybe really, I mean think about this like I remember once, okay,
one time Michael Jordan passing out of a big shot
when he when he when, uh, I'm sorry, Michael Jordan

(01:28):
talking about passing out of a big shot and it
was when Horace Grant passed out to Steve Kerr for
a big three that wanted that that was a big
clinching bucket in an NBA Finals game, And Michael Jordan
just said, you know, Horace did direct and I can't
believe all the questions about it, which was Horace Grant
had an easy buy, why did he pass away? And

(01:49):
Michael's like, we won the game? What are you worried about?
And he like he walked off like it was I
think it was a I forget which title it was
they won, where that was the big shot that won,
And it was like, yeah, no, Horrace did the right thing.
Hars is the right thing, And then people asked what
about it? He just walked up, So I'm done. Not
talking about it, all right, that's Jordan talking about somebody
else making the right basketball play like that. I get, yeah,

(02:09):
that was the Phoenix, but uh was it the suns? Okay?
I mean it's just thirty years now going back. No, no, exactly,
but I remember. I remember. I remember seeing Horace Grant
with the ball and he's like, oh my god, he's
got no we passed out. But Steve Kerr hits a
three and it's like, hey, Steve Kerr, well I was
paxsing for the sorry and that wasn't a sunset. It
was just Dan Marley. It was a Marley. Uh. But

(02:32):
that's him talking about it. I don't ever really remember
Michael Jordan passing out of a big shot anywhere, right,
I don't know, I don't. I mean he's had big plays,
had big passes at the end of games, but a
big shot, he's passing out of a shot. If a
guy gets a dunk, right, Like, that's Jordan passing out
of a passing out of a shot. If I can
set you up for a layup, I remember, Oh, now

(02:52):
that I could. I could think of one time he
passed to Wennington for a dunk against the Knicks and
the players. I'm like, oh, man, that's just a killer
right there. But that's passing out when it's a sure bucket.
Like Lebron passes out of shots if if a teammate
is thirty five feet away but he's standing by himself. Okay, hey,
let me that's the right basketball play. I'm like, dude,
do you do you really think at this point in

(03:14):
your career that teams don't know you're gonna do that
and they don't leave a guy open. That's not a
guy that we're okay with taking a shot. It's not like, hey,
Luca's open because they all collapse to me and I
got the ball to look, Oh, Marcus Moore. Of course
we're gonna leave Marcus Smart open because they know you'renna
pass him. At this point, like, teams know that Lebron
is gonna pass out of it, and we'd rather have
him do that than trying to take it to the

(03:36):
rat going one on one with Jo because maybe he
gets the free throw line, or he gets an n
one or he gets a bucket. Yeah, we're okay with that.
We know he's gonna do it. At this point, they
know Lebron's gonna do that. So, yeah, we'll leave a
guy open that we're okay with taking an open three
because it's Marcus Smart. Yeah it ain't. It ain't Luca,
it ain't Reeves. It's down the the scoring options depth chart. Yeah,

(03:56):
it's it's just that curiosity as we look at this
last stretch of the Lakers, and I do agree with Reddick,
and look, something we've talked about a lot, the bright
lights that come with being a member of the Lakers,
that everything is going to be magnified. You're also, you know,
trying to declare yourself king and you know, the tops

(04:19):
of all of these statistical categories, passing kareem earlier in
the game for the all time field goals made. With
that come up, it comes a lot of scrutiny as
to decision making and processing and categorically saying the right
basketball play, Like in your mind, it's the right basketball play,
and open three is never a better option than a

(04:43):
move to the rim when you are a player of
his ilk, even if it works out again, right, if
it's Luca or it's Austin Reeves, that's the okay, these
are guys, that's it's a better decision It's still not best, right, good,
better best? Really, this is I mean, this is Lebron man,

(05:03):
this is what Lebron is. But a big night of drama. Right.
We had the big game between the Spurs and the Pistons.
Another if this is an NBA Finals preview, boy, I'm
taking the Spurs and a sweep because this is the
second time last two and a half weeks the Spurs
have made the Pistons look all kinds of silly. Kate
Cunningham and a blender again, Wemby, if he played the
Pistons every day, would would be like a thirty twenty

(05:25):
and ten guy. Yeah, and this could be a finals
that we get. We could get Spurs Pistons. I'll take
the Spurs and a sweep. Yeah, I'd be curious to
see how much changes in a series. Defensively for Detroit.
I mean they did have Stewart back in this game.
He played thirty minutes, I had eighteen points. He got
a little bit of production off the bench other than him.

(05:48):
But yeah, watching what they've been able to do to
Cad Cunningham has been pretty impressive. Right. We talk about
the depth of what the San Antonio is bringing, and
you can't go weak lee into the lane because you've
got Wegnano's good night. You can't do it. He's just
weakly but you know what I mean, like the floaters

(06:09):
and little like half ass kind of post moves to
where I'm gonna I'm gonna send up a little bit
of a floater. It's not gonna work because he's gonna
come and race it, like you watched it multiple times tonight.
And it's not just he had five official blocks, but
how many shots are altered as you're going to the lane.
It's like, oh wait, yes, he's still within two steps.

(06:30):
That's the thing, all right. Those are big ass steps
to get back in to alter your your body, uh,
trajectory towards the lane, what you're trying to do in
terms of a pass or even leaving a pass, putting
up a shot or leaving a pass off for a
teammate in the lane. It just changes everything. And you're

(06:50):
just watching that on a nightly basis. And for Kad Cunningham,
we watched him get frustrated the first time out to
where physically he just started to throw a throw bows
and try to get after Wemby and others. Whenever he
could to put a body on someone tonight just a
ten of twenty six performance, just a grizzly effort. So

(07:13):
speaking of NBA Finals, NBA Finals preview, because tonight could
have been one. The other big drama in the league
tonight was the return of Jason Tatum, or the announced
return of Jason Tatum. Celtic star has been out with
the torn achilles for the last ten months, is going
to come back, likely on Friday night. ESPN Shamstereranni are
reporting that earlier today when the Celtics play the Dallas Mavericks.

(07:36):
This is the equivalent of firing your manager in a
baseball season when the Pirates are coming to town and
you're gonna avoid schemes in the rotation. Now, on the
plus side, Cooper Flags back, Yeah, okay, what's that record
with Cooper Flag? Yeah? Then stops and forty one. It's
sounds like they're good. Yeah, but until like they're eighteen

(07:57):
and five at least drama because we have two stars
returning and being available whatever Flag is available and allowed
to play after returning and being in the second night
of a back to back, tell me ESPN isn't happy
as oh yeah, no, no, what I'm saying is like, okay,
but do we really doubt the result of this game?

(08:17):
You know in the linus, come on man nineteen and
a half fourteen and a half fourteen. But how big
a move is this for this year? It's huge? Right,
thanks to Mark Stein for stopping by with us earlier
talking about this. But the two points on Jason Tatum
is how big a move is this? This is Tatum
coming back to the Celtics, where it's a big boost.

(08:39):
It's a trade deadline acquisition. Now, there are five teams
that can win the NBA Championship. The Pistons Lakers, the
Knicks Blakers, the Celtics Lakers, the Spurs, Lakers, and the Thunder.
That's it. Those are the five teams that can win
the NBA time. You don't give the t Wolves or
the Houston Rockets or the Denver Nuggets. Puncher, Yeah, because

(09:04):
in the East, in the East, the Knison come out
of the East. No one we get the video of
his head bombing. No one is beating both the Spurs
and the Thunder. Anybody's beating the playoffs. No, No, we're
talking about the West. The Nuggets aren't beating the Spurs
and the Thunder. Right, the Rockets aren't beating the Spurs
and the Thunder, and you have to go through Both

(09:25):
of these teams are gonna be the top two seeds.
So no one's beating both of them. That's not that
I don't think someone can beat one of them, but
beating both of them is not gonna happen. So Spurs, Thunder,
that's your Western Conference finals and in the East, no
one's beating those three teams. Those are the Celtics. As
good as they are a regular season, boy, I would
have really liked to play them without Jason Tatum because
that is not a team that can go through the

(09:47):
marathon of the playoffs. Yeah, great regular season, Jalen Brown's
the MVP of the league. But getting him back all
of a sudden, this makes the Celtics a big time contender.
He's got twenty games to get back into his in
into his swing, and obviously, you know his minutes are
gonna be lower, you know, all the stuff we talked
about earlier in the show. But his comeback now mentally

(10:10):
works for both sides because the big drama for the
Celtics and Tatum is going to be at the end
of the season when he has to decide, am I
gonna be okay being the one A to Jalen Brown
long term? Because that's what's happened, Like Jason Tatum was
the one Jalen Brown was the one A. He gets
hurt and Jalen Brown takes over the team. He's now
coming back to a team where the guy who was

(10:31):
his one A has now taken over. Is he gonna
be okay with that? Long term? That's the big drama
that's in the offseason. For now, it's fine because with
him just coming back from injury, both sides don't have
to worry about bruised egos anywhere. Hey, listen, we want
to make sure Jason is fot Jason is fine. Yes,
that's right. Of course, it's gonna be a little bit
less responsibility for him, yes, less minutes. Yes, Jalen Brown

(10:52):
will take the shots. Yes, everybody's fine. For the short term.
When someone's coming back from injury, you make it work.
That's why this is. These are rate days for the
Celtics coming up. But long term, this is where the
drama comes up because Jason Tatum's gonna hit the off
season going hm not my team anymore. And it's not
like Steph Curry or Dwayne Wade, where they were welcoming

(11:15):
new stars to the team and their egos were good
and they can put aside. Hey, Dwayne Wade's okay, Miami's
my city. Lebron comes in, it's his team, He's the
better player. Not many guys have that kind of manageable
ego like Dwayne Wade had, same thing for Steph Curry,
this is my team. But here comes Kevin Durant. I'm
okay with that. Hey, guess what, we got a couple
of NBA Finals appearances in an NBA title, So that's

(11:37):
special guys with superstar egos that were able to make
that sacrifice. But these are also welcoming new players in.
I think it would be different for Wade or or
for Steph Curry. If hey, I'm great, it's my team,
but then they get hurt and come back. Guess what,
it's not your team anymore. Hang on a second. All
stars have egos. So the off season, that's where it's

(11:59):
gonna get to. Is Jason Tatum available? Does he want
to go someplace else to go be one somewhere because
Jayson Tatum cares about stuff like that. He cares about
about you know what he's thought about and being his team.
That's always been a big part of the discourse. But
now everything's going to be great for the Celtics because
he comes back for whatever role he is there, he
has a huge boost. He is a huge bucket getter.
I mean, look, you know how much I love Jason Tatum.

(12:21):
Saying this about him is tough, but you know, seeing
them come back this way now they've become that force
and they can get back to the NBA Finals pretty easy. Yeah,
there's seventh hardest schedule down the stretch, a couple of
big time opponents that they'll see multiple times in that stretch.
I think down what we've watched for the last couple

(12:42):
of years that there's always been that attempt at division
and prying them apart, and they've been pretty good about it.
For Jason Tatum, I wonder how much it's more the hey,
make sure you consider me one of the superstars as
opposed to I'm worried about how you feel about him,
And we'll see how that goes going forward. I think

(13:03):
they've got a really good shot, good depth to go
through the East and make a series with the Western
Conference champion. But m you never know what lies underneath
the folks that are the A list that they want
their shine. So for Jalen Brown and he, I think
that's an interesting development to watch. I don't think it's

(13:26):
as fractured, but could be wrong. You know, it's that
duck that looks good on the surface. I just get
ready to get rid of the off sit. That's where
the real fund's gonna start. That's where it's gonna happen.
Exit out about a Fresco exit swollen dome. Jason Smith
Mike Harmon Live from the Fox Sports Radio Studios. More
NBA in the way, but coming up next. Hey, we
got a big NFL trade to break down. Plus, I've

(13:48):
now found maybe the only job I would leave Fox
Sports Radio for, really, the only job. It's out there.
It's out there. It's out there, man, and it's out there,
and I could get it, and I could get it.
What if you were the photo shop guy for Megan Fox? Okay,
two jobs, two jobs? Yeah, the fluffer Yeah two. That

(14:08):
story's coming up next Jason and Mike Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Be sure to catch live editions of the Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Fox Sports Radio The Jason Smith Show with My best
friend Mike Harmon. Now, I always say that there's not
a lot of jobs that I would leave doing radio
for not a lot, And I don't know that I
need to actually leave for this one because I can
kind of do it as a side hustle. But like
if they said you got to pick, we're gonna give

(14:45):
you this job, I would say, Okay. Wendy's is offering
people one hundred thousand dollars a year to be their
chief tasting officer. Don't do why not? Don't do it? CTO,
what do you mean? Why not don't do it? One
hundred thousand dollars a year to be their chief tasting officer.

(15:07):
It's exactly what you think it is. It's a remote position,
so I have to leave, never have to leave my house.
Where you taste and test menu items and you post
about it on social media what you like, what you
don't like. One hundred thousand dollars a year, you go
to try all this food and you just say what
you like and don't like that seems pretty good. I
think that's the catch that's too good to be true,
right there, So you have to go out and get

(15:30):
the food, Like do you go to your local? Do you?
I mean that like some of that becomes the question. Well,
they say it's at home, so I think they'd bring
you the food. So they're gonna drone me some food. Yeah,
it's just like in Hunger Games when they drop all
this stuff off. Oh yeah, so I need a benefactor
that's gonna drop me off and smile for the camera.
Then the rich people are gonna bring you to drop

(15:50):
you stuff. Here's the ointment to get rid of the
tracker jackers. All right, great kind of dig this? I
mean I heard the thing for the Frosty Fusion. I
heard that ad over the our airwaves here, So I mean,
you know you'll you'll have to eat a bunch of
those I'm sure. I mean, look, I already know I
would transform this franchise. I mean, I'm the Fernando Mendoza

(16:12):
of this. I am the Hey, I'm the Sean McVay
taking over for Jeff Fisher. Watch what I do to
the Wendy's franchise. All of a sudden. Hey, we're competing
with McDonald's and we're number one. I got ideas, man,
I take you from wherever you are right now, I
take you to number one's on your vision board. Number one.
We change the frosty ingredients so it's not just the

(16:36):
coldest ice cream possible that you need a spork that
they give you that is not strong enough to actually
get the stuff out of. Right now, you get you
get rid of trust me, the frosty is no good.
Frosty is the best. It's on the menu for reason. No,
that's why they added the future. Don't have anything else,
the pop tarts. I mean, there's like all sorts of stuff,

(17:00):
girl Scout fusion. You have to if you if you
have to get a treat that you also need a
drink for. It's not good enough man. No, but it's
not a drink. No, you have to get a drink
because you can't get that to say, okay, I gotta
get that on the side, like that's mine's a dessert
treat and then you get a drink with you. It's
just the coldest thing and it's and it's difficult to eat. No,
it's not you can't have it through a straw. It's

(17:23):
a shake, but they give it to you with a straw. Yes,
they do, spoon. No, they give you a spoon too.
They give you a straw and a spoon. Straw is
no good because you could drink if it gets too defrosted.
Later it ever does you if you can lead it.
You can leave a frosty out in the sun at
noon on a ninety five degree day. Go back five
hours later. You'll still say I need a I need

(17:44):
some kind of chisel to get this stuff. Okay.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
You always say takes movies and something else, never that
you're bad on. No, you're bad on all these. Now,
Frosty's okay, Get a chocolate frosty and get French fries.
Talk later, dude, Why you can't You can't dip french
fries into it.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
It's too hard categorical. You hit the You hit the
french fry into the the minute it touches the chocolate,
it breaks. And I will not let you disparag frosty.
I will also change the the recipe for the French
fries too. That needs to get better too. You're not
bringing me in to just agree with your menu. You're
bringing me in to make you better. I'm just insane.

(18:21):
You're not getting the job the way you're talking the
job talking speaking truth to power. I can tell you, hey,
this needs to be fixed. Need you can tell me
about a lot of the other stuff on the menu.
The frosty is perfect as you want to add shakes
because you want to have shakes and it's gonna make
you feel better about things you need.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
You need.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Frosty is perfect. That is easier to eat. No, fast
food needs to be easy to eat, and that's not
easy to eat. It's not. The frosty is the best.
It's just called. If I want something like that, I
will go to Dairy Queen where they make that thing,
and they turn it upside down for you to show you.
Look how good this is.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Yeah, okay, that's great. You have to get out of
your car, though, and go inside. Wendy's is just sit back,
get the frosty fries and dip out. It's not convenient there,
it is convenient. There's no convenience. Can you can you
drive your car and eat a frosty at the same time.
Don't tell me yes, because that's dangerous. No, no, no, no, no, no,

(19:18):
you can't you can't because you need you need two hands. Yeah,
really right between the thives. Again, it's too cold frost Yes,
it is great cups. It's the coldest thing. Excellent cups.
They put those things, they make those surround with dry ice.
That's how coold.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Stanley. Now, well, if I'm getting a Stanley cup, I'll
be okay with that thing, because that's a that's a value,
like that's a that's a forty dollars value. I'm getting
okay if I'm getting a three ninety nine frosty that
I can't really eat because it's too hard, but I
get it in the Stanley. Not hard, No, it is
not hard, trust me, man, It is frosty. Yes, you

(19:59):
get it's where the hell are you? It's the chocolate
frosty that you get. And I like the fact they
give you chocolate because McDonald doesn't give you chocolate. You
can like that chocolate. Ganella. You can have one of
these fusion. You gotta stick with it. Brought your fusion.
It was delicious, Yeah it was. You didn't have any
problem eating that, Okay. I saw it go down your
go because you bought it at noon. Ten hours later

(20:21):
you here it to me, and it was only bought
it right down. It was a tiny bit melted. It
was only a tightylt right down the street about forty
five minutes before we hit the so it took forty
I had it in the freezer for a half hour
once I got here, to make sure it was preserved
in all its best frost. Now you're just straight up lining.
You told categorically you came in on a Thursday with it.

(20:43):
You told me you bought that thing on Tuesday, and
you put it on your stove for the last forty
eight hours, and you had it turned all the way
up to where the blue flame was like licking at
the outside. You brought it in still I had to
use it. I had to use a spoon to eat it.
Dear Wendy's, let me upper consumer of your product be
the C two Do I ask you this, Do you

(21:03):
think Wendy's is happy or do they they just want something?
They don't want somebody to just say you can make
something better. You're claiming you put it over an open flame.
I love the square burgers awesome. Right. Too much bread,
the bread is too much. You gotta be a little
bit less bread. The bread overwhelms the burger too much, bread,

(21:26):
too much.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
One positive thing about Wendy's.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
I like the square bird. The burgers taste good. I
like to taste of the complain about the burger. No,
I said, the means something that's fine the way it is. Yeah,
you got you lost the job. That's why. No, that's
why they want me. They need me. You want me
on that tasting officer position. You need me on that
tasting officer position. I will take you to the Rams.
Thought they had a great with Jeff Fisher. Hey, we're
lucky to have the guy. No, Jeff Fisher was out there. Help,

(21:51):
we helped get him fired thanks to us. Sean McVay
comes in and now the Rams won a super Bowl,
been to two super Bowls yearly super Bowl threat. I
will do that for Wendy's. That's me. I will do that.
Just really the bad bloods you have with the Frosty.
I'm telling you the frost was incredibly overrated. Man's not
want you don't want me to come in here and
parents and we'll actually go out of their home to

(22:13):
go to a Wendy's to get a Frosty. They go nowhere, nowhere,
and they walk to the store and they go to doctors.
Where do they they go? And they're in clear Water, Florida. Okay,
So they come out of Wendy's and it's one hundred
and seventy five degrees. Then that thing will melt. They
in the Wendy's facility and they enjoy a nice They
sit in the parking lot and put it on the

(22:34):
ground where you can see the heat coming off of
the concrete. Dear, Oh, here's a late local news thing.
Instead of frying an egg on a sidewalk, which you've
seen us do, we're gonna melt a frosty right here Wendy's. There,
you go, let's see how long it takes. And then
they go back to the guy later on and there's oh,
you want to come back just a little later, still
trying to wait for the melt right here, Just to

(22:55):
come back. I know the news is ninety minutes long,
but just come back to me at the end. Now
we're gonna we're gonna unfreeze a frost to hear the
hot streets of Florida. Look after a shutout or after
a four goal performance, they give you a free single,
so you go get that single. And then you get
yourself a nice frosty to wash that down.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
You can't wash it down. Now, you can't drink it. See,
that's the whole problem that you just see. You just
stumbled it. You're like the person that admits to the
crime without understanding, stumble into it. You did not admitted
to it. You said walk. You can't wash it down.
You can't wash it down. That's not what the frosty is.
You said you enjoy the burger, and then you have
yourself a nice palate cleanser with your frost How did

(23:41):
you know the victim had red hair? How did you
know that that wasn't made public, Delicious frosty. See, you
just realized, you know, you just lost it, just lost
it anything, Yeah you did. No, they have the burger,
they enjoy it, and then they have a frosty. I
don't think I said anything about a graveyard, professor Delicious
you are you are Bardie Crouch. Oh making that big

(24:03):
mistake is mad Eye Moody. I don't think I said
anything about a graveyard. In the graveyard, tremendous. Mcd's a
meal for you winner. Go get your free burger and
get it frost selling you man, I'd be this is
what they need. They don't know that's what they need,
but it's what they need. Well, I mean tough love.
Submit a video. I am a submitted video. Here's my thought.

(24:26):
Here's why I should be your chief tasting officer. Here's
where you should change everything. Here's why you should give
me one hundred thousand dollars. Call it Wendy's Jason's. That's
what we're gonna call it, Wendy's Jasons. What do we
do there? You go, you're trying to be an iconic
pitchman and operator for the Wendy's program. Yeah, and I

(24:48):
will be for the organization. You think you can help
this organization? Who I like that guy in the Mets
had He really tells me what I want to know
about you. You know, he gets it to me straight.
He doesn't lie to me. He does some sugarcoat stuff
to me. Now here's the thing. Because they have square burgers.
There is no inclusion where in your video applying for
this job. Yeah, you can talk about using a meat gun.

(25:08):
Oh maybe you need a product on the menu that
includes a meat gun. All I need to do to
be successful is to put out better videos than we've
seen on social media this week from and it's all
the different CEOs and all appreciated. The Taco Bell guy though,
Taco Bell, Now you gave you a very matter of
fact Yeah, this is how we talk about the product
behind closed doors. I'll letting you in. Yeah. I mean, look,

(25:30):
the McDonald's CEO didn't do him any favors, right, but
the Taco Bell guy saying, hey, it's pretty high quality meat.
It is meat out of a meat gun, but it
is what was it? It was the best was available
to us. It was the best meat available to us
at this price right. Yeah. Yeah, we're not gonna spend
a lot of money, but at this price point. So yeah,

(25:51):
but he's he's speaking to you. We put the best
John and susi Q Homemaker, because that's what you do
when you get your meat meals planned. Right, You're trying
to go to a price point and get the best
cut of meat you can to get to that to
that endgame, right to where it's hot. What two dollars

(26:12):
a person for dinner or whatever your meal price point is.
That that's how the Taco Bell CEO talked to you. Yeah, no, no,
I got a meat gun in this price point. So
he's speaking to you as a consumer saying, here's what
I need for this meal. What I'm telling you is
we're not going to spend money on the absolute best meat,
but the money I have in my pocket, I'll buy

(26:33):
the best meat I can with it. That's like saying,
but that's what everybody's going. I'm going to the to
the butcher shop, and the best cuts of meat that
I could buy to serve to you are eighteen nine.
Well I don't have that. I have four dollars, but
I will buy the top shelf four dollars meat and
put that thing in jam it and a meat gun
and make sure you get it. But that's but that's
what people do. No, here's my budget, here's what I'm

(26:55):
working to And that's what the Taco Bell ceo he
got through with his meat gun analogy. Now here at Wendy's,
that's what they're looking for you to be able to do,
to pass on to the consumer. How do we best
exemplify the burger and drink and frosty slash dessert treat

(27:18):
menu to you? How do you best exemplify that to
get people excited to go to their nearest Wendy's. See,
here's the thing. And this is where I move on
Because I solve problems. I go on to the next one.
How has no heavy metal band done a song called
meat Gun? How they not done meat Gun? Seems to
be made to be some kind of hair metal song,
like how did Poison not do meat Gun? I just

(27:42):
don't understand because it is.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
A kiss a kiss standard and put their logo that's
on everything.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
No, that's love gun. This is meat gun. It's a
different song. This is this is love gun. It's something different.
This is more about This is more about hey, it's
about seduction. It's about meeting someone. This is meat gun.
This is stright. Hey, you swipe right, We're meet and
we're hooking up. This is more a sausage company going
through the extra I mean, really, meat we have the
casings and there's the the extruder and now that that's

(28:17):
basically re rename it to meatgun. Now you got the
video with the extruder and everything else. But I mean,
how is no hard rock band, Like, how have the
Struts not done meat Gun? Right? How have Dirty Honey
not done meat Gun? I don't know. I mean, come on,
meat it's I mean, I'm sure I could have AI
write great lyrics in like eight seconds for meat Gun.
I played around with it a little earlier. I thought

(28:38):
we would talking about this, but we are. We're gonna
workshop it for real. Yeah, wordsmithing as we do the
extemporaneous speaking and improv that we bring to you for
four hours a night. Do you think I can make
money writing the lyrics to meat Gun and selling it
to a rock bands, Like yeah, because people sell beat
But are you going to do it in the vein

(28:59):
of the kiss song? Because then you need to get
in touch with Genie met Gun? No, I would. Well,
here's the thing is, like I know that, Well, you
need to go with whoever owns their publishing if you
want to do it in the vein. But that's the thing, Like,
I'm a little I'm more of a I'll write the
lyrics because I know there's people out there that do
beats and they do music and they do all and
that's different. Like I don't know that I could do that,
but uh, but lyrics like would they buy Hey, I've

(29:20):
written a song, Yeah, as song as you're not meat
gun Like I've written meat gun. Yeah, it's great, and
I could probably write meat gun. And if it took
me more than twelve minutes to write meat gun, then
I got a problems. We're crafting the next great song
for the fast food service industry, and you're thinking you're
gonna get that done in twelve minutes. Dude, Black Sabbath

(29:40):
Throat Paranoid in like six minutes because he's a genius. Okay,
the guys are, but the guy who wrote Christmas Rapping
wrote the final two choruses in a cab getting dropped off.
He was going to record the song, like, I think
I could do a song in twelve minutes. Yeah, but
this is me divine inspiration where you wake up with

(30:01):
the hook or whatever. Here you're obsessing over a meat
gun meat gum and you need to leave the kiss
love gun off to that. I can do that. No,
I could do that. That's easy. You need rhythm to
do Any bands do that? Do they write lyrics and
then do songs like? I don't know de bands actually
do that because usually it's it's they write the songs
and then okay, I'll write the then the lead singer,

(30:23):
I'll write the lyrics to it, like that's you. That's
how all the rock bands kind of. I know Van
Hamlin did it that way, Guns and Roses did it
that way. Like I don't know if anybody writes the lyrics,
I'll make a song out of this. I can't make
a song out of that. But you got to be
able to make a song to meet Gun. I gotta
think you can reverse engineer it. Yeah, I mean I think,
But could I sell it? Could I sell it to
a to a heavy metal hair metal rock band right now,
like a lot of hungry bands out here. I could

(30:44):
I sell Meat Gun to Greta van Fleet saying, hey,
come back guys. I mean it's been a long time.
Sin's that first album, Well they were found out to beat.
I tried to take you that year, so it was
gonna be hard to follow up the Hey, they sounded
awful like that other band. I could make you stars.
I have a song for you. What is it, meat Gun?

(31:06):
Oh my god, I gotta have that song. I don't
you pitch it all these businesses, the burger joints. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
talking about peanut oil or something. But I'll call Rick
Rubin and say, hey, I got I got, I got,
I got meat gun for you. Yeah, he'd say, I
get that to the Beastie Boys. Get get a little
drum machine in the way you go. Yeah, that's all

(31:27):
I need. We'll talk to our guy Gorman. Man. Come on,
he's good. He's out there. He's a rock and roll
I forgot nominee Steve Gorman, drummer Black Crows, our former
teammate here at Fox Sports Radio. I could say I
got for you. He can call. I mean, I don't
know does he talk to the Black Crows anymore? No? No, no, no,
that ended kind of badly. Yeah, I just did enough.
Maybe because you know, bands usually get back together.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
It's no.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
I mean, well, they're out in touring. He's working in
radio and he also does tour with a couple of bands.
He was working with Darius Rucker. Oh, I could easily
get that to Hoodie. I can get that. Oh yeah,
one hundred percent. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah, no, no, no,
he had a band. They were they were just touring,
uh how All Howells him and Mike Mills. But they

(32:10):
also were working on some new music. Yeah yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah meat Gun. Why you punish me? Yay? I
could do that? Yeah? Sure so he got that, Yeah yeah,
meat Gun. Steve's got hookups though, like he's got a
lot of Look he's he's just removed from the The
Ringo All Star Band too, like he knows all those
guys too. Now, Hunter grand a year to be the

(32:32):
Chief Tasting Officer, and I'm gonna sell a Grammy winning song.
The nominee is for Best Written Song off Jason Smith
meat Gun. Now that would be something he suddenly pulled
that off, and I would say, oh, I gotta call
Lady Gaga to see if still has that meat dress,
because I would have to wear something a meat suit
to accept you won't made. Maybe at the Grammys you

(32:53):
would get to perform it and Gaga would be your
special Yeah yeah, her spin. Yeah, your cat in a
bad meat gun. Ga Gay had her you know, giant
amphathy at her best. Or would it be the you know,
kind of jazzy thing she did with Tony Bennett. Oh no,

(33:15):
it would be like no, no, no, no no. It
would be like shallow. It would be That's what would be.
I want to I want to be like shallows. I'll
get that. Maybe Bradley cooperil guest on it
