Just yesterday, you know, everybody thought it was all set
up for New York. The President was in the house,
a celebrity after celebrity. The Knicks won the two games
on the road, so everybody thought this was a fourgone
conclusion and it didn't happen.

That's right, Rob, Yeah, the San Antonio Spurs and the
New York Knicks. The Knicks led the series two to nothing.
But last night the Spurs pulled within one game and
they beat the next one to fifteen to one. Eleven.
Victor wembin Yama had thirty two points leading the way
for the Spurs.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
The Knicks.
Speaker 8 (07:27):
Oj Nanobi led the way with twenty eight points. Oh no,
Jalen brunelot the way with thirty two points.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
We had who there, no, no, no, all good. But Kelvin,
let's start here.

And I'm going to push back on you because you
didn't think Wimby was ready for this, and I think
he answered critics. He answered you he was absolutely ready
for this big moment.

This situation.

He also showed some toughness in the game, pushing brunts
and they're not going to strong arm him. He's a
stick figure, I get it. But the guy can play basketball.
And you know, whether or not he was, they should
have been called for some fouls or you know what
I mean, being rough housing or whatever. But not only
did he do that, he delivered thirty two points in

a must win game. Yet another Kelvin big win on
the road for this young team. That's what impresses me
so much. You know, like they should be down and out.
They should be wounded. They lost two games at home
to start the finals. They lost game two where Weinby
made a terrible turnover with nine seconds that probably would

have sealed the game, right, and he misses the game
winning shot. So should he tuck his head and tail
and be like, oh, my god, it's over. We can't
come back from a two to Oh we're going to
Madison Square Garden and the world is going to be watching.
And he could have, you know, rolled up into a
ball and just figured that it's not gonna work.

Instead, he put up a.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Tremendous night Winby becomes the second youngest player NBA history,
dropped thirty points, five rebounds, five assists. His numbers thirty two,
eight and six spectacular and Wimby to me, Kelvin continues
to prove to me why they can win this championship,

why they are where they are, Why despite losing two
games and being down too most teams that win two
go up two, winning two road games have won the
five championship. I'm not that I'm not that convinced that
the Knicks are going to be that team because and
I'm not trying to do a.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Who's the coach of the Cavs. I just get his name,
Kenny Atkinson. Analytically, it's a three year OHO lead.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
For uh the Spurs, but they probably should be up
to oh and they've outplayed the Knicks probably all but
one quarter in this game. I met two quarters because
the Knicks had forty two points and quarter number two.
And that was the other thing, Kelvin, that was big
last night. You know, you give up the Knicks forty
two and you kind of felt that, you and Jason
(10:18):
Smith when we were changing shifts, right, you guys were like,
you know, they they just got steamrolled in the second quarter,
gave up a big league, were down at the half
and looked like they were buried and wouldn't gonna be
able to recover. And five minutes into the third quarter
they took the lead.

Like this is a.

Resilient young team with a lot of poise, and Wimby's
leading the way. I think you're wrong. I think when
you count them out and say he's too young and
can't get it done, I think you're under selling Wemby.
Speaker 6 (10:48):
So one thing I'll say quickly about Winby, I think
you're putting too much emphasis on my thoughts on Winby.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
I told you yesterday we'by gonna do it.
Speaker 6 (10:56):
Wimby does remember I said I thought it would be
the Aaron Fox or something that would have to show
ended up being more like Darren Fox had a big
shot at the end. But shorg Stefan Castle balled out
for them twenty three eight to fourteen, very efficient, knocked
down all his free throws but one, five and six.
I mean, he played very well. And obviously Dylan Harper
is one of those. He shocked terribly if you just

looked at the numbers five and eighteen, but he was
one of those players. He made timely buckets win the
Spurs needed them, and a couple of things to give
the Knicks credit or the Spurs credit, and then to
say the Knicks the Knicks were shook. I think all
of the noise, the whole city's here, everybody's ready go Knicks,

go go New York, go bing bong, all of that.
The presidents in town, celebrity row to see them.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
Did you see Derek Cheeter and Eli Manning.
Speaker 6 (11:53):
Derek Cheeter, Eli Manning he never show up or not never,
but meant everybody was there. And you know what I
saw from the Knicks for that first seven eight minutes
loop that hard swallow we all have from ton of time.
The Knicks had that. I think they were the ones
that were psyched out. I think the Spurs had that, Hey,
(12:13):
what we got to lose? Were young, they would say,
where some would say young, dumb and shouldn't know any better.
But they're coming in there, Hey, what we're down to?
We we believe we can win. To your point, Rob,
you always bring up they won some big ones on
the road last series, so I think they came in like, hey,
it's on them. They're at the crib and the Knicks
look sluggish. The Knicks looked nervous. The Knicks with short
(12:36):
arm and shots, turning the ball over terribly in the
first quarter. They didn't look like the veteran team, the
one that had been up to and won a couple
of games in the row. They looked shook, and I
think that was shocking to see. For me, was that
this great opportunity to really put your foot in her
throat early say it was the reverse, right, you're up thirty.

Three to twenty two in the first quarter.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
Crowd's going crazy, and it maybe just put them out
of their misery. In fact, it was the So I
credit the Spurs Mitch Johnson getting the locked in.

I credit Winby for staying focused. And what that I
love from Wimby.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
He got his seven foot five, seven foot six button
down low, got some easy and ones first, right right
down low.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
And if I'm the Knicks, that's scary.

And that if that becomes what he does more often,
not that all he has to only do. He can
shoot the three. We know he's got a great jump shot.
He can bring the ball up. But if that's a
focal point for him, that's scary. So I love what
I saw from Wimby. I love the attitude for Winby.
I love that he was tough. My only concern with
Wimby specifically, Rob You know this, you've been covering the

league a long time. Sometimes guys go out of their
way to prove a point. You're not gonna punk me.
I'm tough, And I only worry with Winby is he's
done a few things over the last couple of series.
Now that he's gotten away with that, people have highlighted.
And you know this world we're in where things are highlighted,
and that Brunton push down. I know he's probably looking

at it. I know everybody's talking about it on shows,
and I just would want him to be a little
more careful because.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
The men couldn't do anything. There's no way to dove.
Speaker 6 (14:09):
Here's my theory though, Rob not theory, but just he's
already got to not that he'll get a flavorant too,
but he's already got that flagrant. If he gets another one,
I believe he's suspended and that would just be too
detrimental for that team. So he just got to keep
being tough keeping you know. I love what he's doing,
but just be careful out there when you're doing that,
because you cannot get in trouble miss a game because

your team desperately needs you.

But the Knicks looked like the let the you know,
the team that was not a.

Veteran to be disappointed because you thought they would blow
them out.

I thought that I thought they And last point, I
know we're gonna talk more about Jalen Brunton next uh

There's something going on where he hasn't been an efficient
and I thought being at home would make him more efficient,
not that he had to be, you know, shooting seventy percent,
but he looked a little out of it as well.
And they got Karl Anthony Towns to be discombobulated. And
that's also what hurt them so credited and last point
turnovers and not just turnover, rob it's what you do

with them. Credit the Spurs for getting twenty seven or
twenty one points off of thirteen turnovers.

You know what, And it's got only seven points off a.

Turnover, and and that was seven off of eight turnovers, right,
is that all?

I think the Spurs only had eight turnovers?

It's crazy, right, they turned it over a tight only
gave up seven points. The Knicks turned it over thirteen
is not that bad. They kind of got it right
in the second half. But they got twenty one points
off turnovers. That's huge.

That ended up essentially to me being one of the
things that was the game for.

All right, man, it should definitely a different mood even
in New York because I'm here, you know what I mean,
And people are like because now that they've lost Kelvin, Yeah,
people are looking at the flaws of the team.

the last stretch. You know, if the Knicks were to sweep,

Point is you know, we want our finals, you want
good games, you want you want storylines, you want all this.

last night we saw why people have always questioned and
wonder if the Knicks are going to win a championship.

That if they blow this old two lead, the two
old lead, I should say, and wind up losing to
the Spurs, it'll all be about Wimby, right and all that,
and I get it. But the reason the Knicks will
lose this series will because of will be because of
Jalen Brunson. I believe that if we go back to
(20:38):
the Jalen Brunson Knicks and hero ball and dribble dribble,
dribble dribble and either shoot it or or force it
to a teammate laid in the shot clock for it
to put up a shot, then the Knicks are going
to lose this And we got a glimpse of that
last night.

Wait a minute. He's scoring thirty two points. He matched Wimby.

Right, No, Kevin, that's not what they were doing, right,
That's not when they were winning thirteen in a row
of bakers dozen't they weren't doing that. And here we
are back in the same situation, and I'll give you
the bad brunch of numbers. His thirty eight percent usage

rate through three games is on pace to be the
highest and final series since Lebron in twenty fifteen that
was thirty eight point nine. Brunton has more turnovers, not
than a bakery, than assists. He has the same amount
thirteen turnovers, thirteen assists.

in a three game span. Eighty plus field goal attempts,
sub forty percent field goal shooting, and twelve or more

turnovers when guarded by Stefank. So you ready in the
NBA Finals brunching and shooting, thirty six turnovers and four assists.
If you don't win it, If the Knicks don't win
this series, Kelvin, it'll be pretty obvious as to what

went wrong. And that will be Jalen Brunson. As much
as they loved that guy, and he's made shots for them,
and he's won games in the fourth quarter, what do
you have thirteen and fourteen in Game one in the
fourth quarter.

But there's a lot of bad brunching stuff out there
as well.

Here's the challenge, Rob, Here's what he's fighting with. He's
fighting with mighty man mighty mouse syndrome. And what I
mean is when Weinby pushed his head down, it was
as if he was sonning them.

And then when you get Stefan Castle, remember you saw
that when he's just Remember we were I think we
were next TOEA and he.

Just blew through them.

Yeah, Blue ran them over. They get you a little
bit out of here. And I think he was getting
big dog dog game. And the problem with that is
when you have the Napoleon Mighty Mouse syndrome, you take
it personally and what you want to do is prove no,
I'm tough, No I'm better than, I'm stronger than. And
of course, his version of fighting back is with volume.

His version of fighting back is with shots. His version
of fighting back is by proving to you I'm gonna
take you out, you take you out via the buckets
and winning this game. The problem with that is, bruh,
you're going against the program. I've been giving Mike Brown.
Mike Brown credit because he had switched the program. He
understood what he had success. What he saw being a

am interesting to see how this team responds after one

up for New York. The President was in the house,
a celebrity after celebrity. The Knicks won the two games
on the road, so everybody thought this was a fourgone
conclusion and it didn't happen.

That's right, Rob, Yeah, the San Antonio Spurs and the
New York Knicks. The Knicks led the series two to nothing.
But last night the Spurs pulled within one game and
they beat the next one to fifteen to one. Eleven.
Victor wembin Yama had thirty two points leading the way
for the Spurs.

The Knicks.
Speaker 8 (07:27):
Oj Nanobi led the way with twenty eight points. Oh no,
Jalen brunelot the way with thirty two points.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
We had who there, no, no, no, all good. But Kelvin,
let's start here.

And I'm going to push back on you because you
didn't think Wimby was ready for this, and I think
he answered critics. He answered you he was absolutely ready
for this big moment.

This situation.

He also showed some toughness in the game, pushing brunts
and they're not going to strong arm him. He's a
stick figure, I get it. But the guy can play basketball.
And you know, whether or not he was, they should
have been called for some fouls or you know what
I mean, being rough housing or whatever. But not only
did he do that, he delivered thirty two points in

a must win game. Yet another Kelvin big win on
the road for this young team. That's what impresses me
so much. You know, like they should be down and out.
They should be wounded. They lost two games at home
to start the finals. They lost game two where Weinby
made a terrible turnover with nine seconds that probably would

have sealed the game, right, and he misses the game
winning shot. So should he tuck his head and tail
and be like, oh, my god, it's over. We can't
come back from a two to Oh we're going to
Madison Square Garden and the world is going to be watching.
And he could have, you know, rolled up into a
ball and just figured that it's not gonna work.

Instead, he put up a.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Tremendous night Winby becomes the second youngest player NBA history,
dropped thirty points, five rebounds, five assists. His numbers thirty two,
eight and six spectacular and Wimby to me, Kelvin continues
to prove to me why they can win this championship,

why they are where they are, Why despite losing two
games and being down too most teams that win two
go up two, winning two road games have won the
five championship. I'm not that I'm not that convinced that
the Knicks are going to be that team because and
I'm not trying to do a.

Who's the coach of the Cavs. I just get his name,
Kenny Atkinson. Analytically, it's a three year OHO lead.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
For uh the Spurs, but they probably should be up
to oh and they've outplayed the Knicks probably all but
one quarter in this game. I met two quarters because
the Knicks had forty two points and quarter number two.
And that was the other thing, Kelvin, that was big
last night. You know, you give up the Knicks forty
two and you kind of felt that, you and Jason

Smith when we were changing shifts, right, you guys were like,
you know, they they just got steamrolled in the second quarter,
gave up a big league, were down at the half
and looked like they were buried and wouldn't gonna be
able to recover. And five minutes into the third quarter
they took the lead.

Like this is a.

Resilient young team with a lot of poise, and Wimby's
leading the way. I think you're wrong. I think when
you count them out and say he's too young and
can't get it done, I think you're under selling Wemby.

So one thing I'll say quickly about Winby, I think
you're putting too much emphasis on my thoughts on Winby.

I told you yesterday we'by gonna do it.

Wimby does remember I said I thought it would be
the Aaron Fox or something that would have to show
ended up being more like Darren Fox had a big
shot at the end. But shorg Stefan Castle balled out
for them twenty three eight to fourteen, very efficient, knocked
down all his free throws but one, five and six.
I mean, he played very well. And obviously Dylan Harper
is one of those. He shocked terribly if you just

looked at the numbers five and eighteen, but he was
one of those players. He made timely buckets win the
Spurs needed them, and a couple of things to give
the Knicks credit or the Spurs credit, and then to
say the Knicks the Knicks were shook. I think all
of the noise, the whole city's here, everybody's ready go Knicks,

go go New York, go bing bong, all of that.
The presidents in town, celebrity row to see them.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
Did you see Derek Cheeter and Eli Manning.
Speaker 6 (11:53):
Derek Cheeter, Eli Manning he never show up or not never,
but meant everybody was there. And you know what I
saw from the Knicks for that first seven eight minutes
loop that hard swallow we all have from ton of time.
The Knicks had that. I think they were the ones
that were psyched out. I think the Spurs had that, Hey,
(12:13):
what we got to lose? Were young, they would say,
where some would say young, dumb and shouldn't know any better.
But they're coming in there, Hey, what we're down to?
We we believe we can win. To your point, Rob,
you always bring up they won some big ones on
the road last series, so I think they came in like, hey,
it's on them. They're at the crib and the Knicks
look sluggish. The Knicks looked nervous. The Knicks with short

arm and shots, turning the ball over terribly in the
first quarter. They didn't look like the veteran team, the
one that had been up to and won a couple
of games in the row. They looked shook, and I
think that was shocking to see. For me, was that
this great opportunity to really put your foot in her
throat early say it was the reverse, right, you're up thirty.

Three to twenty two in the first quarter.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
Crowd's going crazy, and it maybe just put them out
of their misery. In fact, it was the So I
credit the Spurs Mitch Johnson getting the locked in.

I credit Winby for staying focused. And what that I
love from Wimby.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
He got his seven foot five, seven foot six button
down low, got some easy and ones first, right right
down low.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
And if I'm the Knicks, that's scary.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
And that if that becomes what he does more often,
not that all he has to only do. He can
shoot the three. We know he's got a great jump shot.
He can bring the ball up. But if that's a
focal point for him, that's scary. So I love what
I saw from Wimby. I love the attitude for Winby.
I love that he was tough. My only concern with
Wimby specifically, Rob You know this, you've been covering the

league a long time. Sometimes guys go out of their
way to prove a point. You're not gonna punk me.
I'm tough, And I only worry with Winby is he's
done a few things over the last couple of series.
Now that he's gotten away with that, people have highlighted.
And you know this world we're in where things are highlighted,
and that Brunton push down. I know he's probably looking

at it. I know everybody's talking about it on shows,
and I just would want him to be a little
more careful because.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
The men couldn't do anything. There's no way to dove.
Speaker 6 (14:09):
Here's my theory though, Rob not theory, but just he's
already got to not that he'll get a flavorant too,
but he's already got that flagrant. If he gets another one,
I believe he's suspended and that would just be too
detrimental for that team. So he just got to keep
being tough keeping you know. I love what he's doing,
but just be careful out there when you're doing that,
because you cannot get in trouble miss a game because

your team desperately needs you.

But the Knicks looked like the let the you know,
the team that was not a.

Veteran to be disappointed because you thought they would blow
them out.

I thought that I thought they And last point, I
know we're gonna talk more about Jalen Brunton next uh

There's something going on where he hasn't been an efficient
and I thought being at home would make him more efficient,
not that he had to be, you know, shooting seventy percent,
but he looked a little out of it as well.
And they got Karl Anthony Towns to be discombobulated. And
that's also what hurt them so credited and last point
turnovers and not just turnover, rob it's what you do

with them. Credit the Spurs for getting twenty seven or
twenty one points off of thirteen turnovers.

You know what, And it's got only seven points off a.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Turnover, and and that was seven off of eight turnovers, right,
is that all?

I think the Spurs only had eight turnovers?

Correct, said, I have less points than you had turnovers.
It's crazy, right, they turned it over a tight only
gave up seven points. The Knicks turned it over thirteen
is not that bad. They kind of got it right
in the second half. But they got twenty one points
off turnovers. That's huge.

That ended up essentially to me being one of the
things that was the game for.

The Spurs, no doubt.

All right, man, it should definitely a different mood even
in New York because I'm here, you know what I mean,
And people are like because now that they've lost Kelvin, Yeah,
people are looking at the flaws of the team.

good games, you want you want storylines, you want all this.

last night we saw why people have always questioned and
wonder if the Knicks are going to win a championship.

That if they blow this old two lead, the two
old lead, I should say, and wind up losing to
the Spurs, it'll all be about Wimby, right and all that,
and I get it. But the reason the Knicks will
lose this series will because of will be because of
Jalen Brunson. I believe that if we go back to

the Jalen Brunson Knicks and hero ball and dribble dribble,
dribble dribble and either shoot it or or force it
to a teammate laid in the shot clock for it
to put up a shot, then the Knicks are going
to lose this And we got a glimpse of that
last night.

Wait a minute. He's scoring thirty two points. He matched Wimby.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Right, No, Kevin, that's not what they were doing, right,
That's not when they were winning thirteen in a row
of bakers dozen't they weren't doing that. And here we
are back in the same situation, and I'll give you
the bad brunch of numbers. His thirty eight percent usage

rate through three games is on pace to be the
highest and final series since Lebron in twenty fifteen that
was thirty eight point nine. Brunton has more turnovers, not
than a bakery, than assists. He has the same amount
thirteen turnovers, thirteen assists.

Brunton has scored eighty two points in the series. You
ready on eighty one shots? Eighty two points on I
don't want to take that shots.

They're talking about Remember, people were saying in New York,

crazy Calvin plus minus in a series minus fourteen.

Who's a real MVP At this point, Bronson is the
first player in NBA history to record the following numbers
in a three game span. Eighty plus field goal attempts,
sub forty percent field goal shooting, and twelve or more

turnovers when guarded by Stefank. So you ready in the
NBA Finals brunching and shooting, thirty six turnovers and four assists.
If you don't win it, If the Knicks don't win
this series, Kelvin, it'll be pretty obvious as to what

went wrong. And that will be Jalen Brunson. As much
as they loved that guy, and he's made shots for them,
and he's won games in the fourth quarter, what do
you have thirteen and fourteen in Game one in the
fourth quarter.

I get it, I get it.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
But there's a lot of bad brunching stuff out there
as well.
Speaker 6 (23:36):
Here's the challenge, Rob, Here's what he's fighting with. He's
fighting with mighty man mighty mouse syndrome. And what I
mean is when Weinby pushed his head down, it was
as if he was sonning them.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
They get you a little butt out of here, you know.

And then when you get Stefan Castle, remember you saw
that when he's just Remember we were I think we
were next TOEA and he.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Just blew through them.
Speaker 6 (23:57):
Yeah, Blue ran them over. They get you a little
bit out of here. And I think he was getting
big dog dog game. And the problem with that is
when you have the Napoleon Mighty Mouse syndrome, you take
it personally and what you want to do is prove no,
I'm tough, No I'm better than, I'm stronger than. And
of course, his version of fighting back is with volume.

His version of fighting back is with shots. His version
of fighting back is by proving to you I'm gonna
take you out, you take you out via the buckets
and winning this game. The problem with that is, bruh,
you're going against the program. I've been giving Mike Brown.
Mike Brown credit because he had switched the program. He
understood what he had success. What he saw being a
Warriors assistant coach was how they run out that high post.

They'll throw it to Draymond, they throw to Andrew Bogan,
David Lee, all those guys, and they also see of
course what they do with h Sabonis when he was
up with Sacramento a lot of success there. Sabonis would
be one of the better guys in the league getting
triple doubles because going out of that Cats started to
get near triple doubles, get a lot of assists. Obviously,
he's gonna board, he's gonna score when they ran off

through that Jalen Brunton part of being that combo point
guard kind of thing is he forgot.

And here's what I mean.

There's no way I can look at my second best player,
car Anthony Towns and say, my man hasn't scored in
a fourth quarter.

That's on me. I gotta set him up with tom

or just say I soo here you're rock. Go kill
these little dudes that keep putting on you. We got

Car Anthony Towns cannot put up ten points in a
ten attempts robed in a finals game. Men of them
fifteen in a finals game. My big dog has to
have fifteen shots because I have to keep him engaged.
I'm losing him and point guards know that. That's one
of the troubles of us not having great point guards anymore.

Got a bunch of combo guards. Rob's point, Chris Paul Knew. Okay,
I gotta let Blake eat. Okay, I gotta get DeAndre
some oops to keep him excited on the defensive end.
All right, Ray John Rondo, I got to feed the
big fellers. I gotta get Ray on some shots. You know,
when you look at Darren Williams, you look at all
the Steve Nash, when you just look at the guards
that we've had, Tyre's Halliburn, give him credit. He let
everybody else feast. And what did he do in the

fourth quarter? Rob takeover? Make big shots. Jalen Brunston has
to understand we're better is what if I were the Knicks,
Mike Brown. We're better when everyone's involved, when the ball
is moving, we're spreading them out. We're spreading weinby out,
getting him out of the paint, just sitting there because
he's waiting on you to attack or shoot a long shot.

Then we're running the ball through Cat and getting guys
excited because when you get to touch the ball field
the ball, you play defense better.

them literally bulldozing me, and I'm gonna make you take
it personally and show them when if that's the case,

song shot to my guy Sahai Rapper from Atlanta. He said,
don't let them trick you off the streets, meaning don't
let them get you caught up and you mess around

and you know, lose. What you're doing has been successful,
and I think the Spurs have tricked him off the
streets and it got him taking it one on one
and forgetting Oh shoot, let me get back to what
we do and have been doing well.

I just think there's a Jalen Brunson problem and it's
glossed over because of that Game.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
One, you know what I mean. It just it just
is like all the numbers Kelvin, all the numbers are
bad except except for the what do you have? It
was it thirteen or fourteen? Fourteen?
Speaker 5 (28:25):
I think it was fourteen And that fourth.

Okay, that's that's a big fourth quarter. They win.

That game set the tone of the series, right, I
get it. In Game two, he had the shot he
made the basket right down late.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Yeah, but all the other numbers are bad. And when
they lose. You remember where we were when they lost
to Atlanta those two games. It was about Jalen Brunson
and the hero ball and two just doesn't look right.
This doesn't look like they're going to be able to
get it together and win and wear the knicks and
remember that that wasn't that long ago and amazing.
Speaker 6 (29:02):
Yeah, if you're Mike Brown, you got to remind him of that. Hey,
we all know you're one of the better one on
one scores in the league. Your a guy can get
it to make big plays.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
We know that.
Speaker 6 (29:11):
But we're better when this ball is moving. We're better
when guys get to touch it. And it ain't just
about shot attems rob It's about touching it right, just
feeling it, feeling like you're a part of it. And
when guys are just standing around, you lose that juice,
you know what I mean. And it affects defense because
you just kind of out of it. You're not when
the ball's moving, everybody touching, everybody eating a little bit,
and it keeps you active, keeps you engaged. It helps
(29:31):
on the defensive end, keep keeps your psyche in it.
And again, that's one of the troubles I believe with
not having traditional point guards anymore, is that.

Guys sometimes lose sight of that.

because Kelvin Johnson's not playing well. Luke Cornett's not playing well.
Harrelton Bond isn't playing at all. Carter Bryant has basically
been thrust in the lineup to do the hack of
Mitchell Robinson. They're playing with a six man rotation. I
am interesting to see how this team responds after one

had a seven game series, and you know, and and
it's a lot of them they're either young or this

no one says a word. His shot selection is only

the Knicks. They dropped the ball on their coverages and
you can see them in the first two players of
the game. You can see them Stefan Cassel being aggressive.
What's huge for the Smurgs yesterday and it'll be huge

So the criticism he just said, the Wimby stuff, and
the same thing comes to the Knicks with Jalen Brunson

in Game one, he made the big shot in Game
two that put them ahead. But he's scored eighty two

How is Jalen Brunson playing to you.

is he's playing poorly and from quarter one to three
Carl Anthony Towns is playing great. From quarter once to three,
Karl Anthony Towns has not scored in the fourth quarter yet.

This is this is the issue. And I felt like
yesterday with the Knicks, regardless of the outcome, let's, by
some chance, say Stefan Castle misses that shot, that that right,

Knicks turned the cock back to that old offense. There
it wasn't Karl Anthony Towns involved. Let's put col Anthony
