take I wanted to bet you on the pistons and
the calves. I wanted to bet you on the magic

Speaker 3 (03:57):
You didn't bet, And what.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Was the other one? I still got my honest one.
Speaker 6 (04:02):

on the message board, on the big scoreboard and all that.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
So that's cool, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (04:57):
And I say this all the time, and Kelvin you know,
you know me, I'm meant to celebrating things because we
take so many losses, so many l's in life that
you got to celebrate the wins when you win and
you have a milestone, don't cheat yourself like like you know,
like it's a big me to fly from La come here,
organize it, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
I could just be like, Okay, whatever, it's forty years
and just move on. Now.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
I don't want to do that. And my friends, I
value them enough to want to share in the successes
of myself and theirs, you know what I mean, when
they have theirs.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
So I want to do that.
Speaker 1 (05:34):

ian Ian is as well, our associate producer, and he'll
be screening calls and helping us out in the studio. Yvonte,
there you go. Steve the Sagres at the anchor desk.
He'll keep us updated throughout the program.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
I did hear Steve.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
And I do know that Elijah who is our social
media gurgle. Yes, Elijah the best in the business and
on the ones in twos.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
All right, there you go, let's let's get started.
Speaker 7 (06:53):
Ian. Uh.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Just yesterday, you know, everybody thought it was all set
up for New York. The President was in the house,
a celebrity after celebrity. The Knicks won the two games
on the road, so everybody thought this was a fourgone
conclusion and it didn't happen.
Speaker 8 (07:08):
That's right, Rob, Yeah, the San Antonio Spurs and the
New York Knicks. The Knicks led the series two to nothing.
But last night the Spurs pulled within one game and
they beat the next one to fifteen to one. Eleven.
Victor wembin Yama had thirty two points leading the way
for the Spurs.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
The Knicks.
Speaker 8 (07:27):
Oj Nanobi led the way with twenty eight points. Oh no,
Jalen brunelot the way with thirty two points.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
We had who there, no, no, no, all good. But Kelvin,
let's start here.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
And I'm going to push back on you because you
didn't think Wimby was ready for this, and I think
he answered critics. He answered you he was absolutely ready
for this big moment.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
This situation.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
He also showed some toughness in the game, pushing brunts
and they're not going to strong arm him. He's a
stick figure, I get it. But the guy can play basketball.
And you know, whether or not he was, they should
have been called for some fouls or you know what
I mean, being rough housing or whatever. But not only
did he do that, he delivered thirty two points in
(08:15):
a must win game. Yet another Kelvin big win on
the road for this young team. That's what impresses me
so much. You know, like they should be down and out.
They should be wounded. They lost two games at home
to start the finals. They lost game two where Weinby
made a terrible turnover with nine seconds that probably would
(08:38):
have sealed the game, right, and he misses the game
winning shot. So should he tuck his head and tail
and be like, oh, my god, it's over. We can't
come back from a two to Oh we're going to
Madison Square Garden and the world is going to be watching.
And he could have, you know, rolled up into a
ball and just figured that it's not gonna work.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Instead, he put up a.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Tremendous night Winby becomes the second youngest player NBA history,
dropped thirty points, five rebounds, five assists. His numbers thirty two,
eight and six spectacular and Wimby to me, Kelvin continues
to prove to me why they can win this championship,
(09:25):
why they are where they are, Why despite losing two
games and being down too most teams that win two
go up two, winning two road games have won the
five championship. I'm not that I'm not that convinced that
the Knicks are going to be that team because and
I'm not trying to do a.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Who's the coach of the Cavs. I just get his name,
Kenny Atkinson. Analytically, it's a three year OHO lead.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
For uh the Spurs, but they probably should be up
to oh and they've outplayed the Knicks probably all but
one quarter in this game. I met two quarters because
the Knicks had forty two points and quarter number two.
And that was the other thing, Kelvin, that was big
last night. You know, you give up the Knicks forty
two and you kind of felt that, you and Jason
(10:18):
Smith when we were changing shifts, right, you guys were like,
you know, they they just got steamrolled in the second quarter,
gave up a big league, were down at the half
and looked like they were buried and wouldn't gonna be
able to recover. And five minutes into the third quarter
they took the lead.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Like this is a.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Resilient young team with a lot of poise, and Wimby's
leading the way. I think you're wrong. I think when
you count them out and say he's too young and
can't get it done, I think you're under selling Wemby.
Speaker 6 (10:48):
So one thing I'll say quickly about Winby, I think
you're putting too much emphasis on my thoughts on Winby.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
I told you yesterday we'by gonna do it.
Speaker 6 (10:56):
Wimby does remember I said I thought it would be
the Aaron Fox or something that would have to show
ended up being more like Darren Fox had a big
shot at the end. But shorg Stefan Castle balled out
for them twenty three eight to fourteen, very efficient, knocked
down all his free throws but one, five and six.
I mean, he played very well. And obviously Dylan Harper
is one of those. He shocked terribly if you just
(11:17):
looked at the numbers five and eighteen, but he was
one of those players. He made timely buckets win the
Spurs needed them, and a couple of things to give
the Knicks credit or the Spurs credit, and then to
say the Knicks the Knicks were shook. I think all
of the noise, the whole city's here, everybody's ready go Knicks,
(11:40):
go go New York, go bing bong, all of that.
The presidents in town, celebrity row to see them.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
Did you see Derek Cheeter and Eli Manning.
Speaker 6 (11:53):
Derek Cheeter, Eli Manning he never show up or not never,
but meant everybody was there. And you know what I
saw from the Knicks for that first seven eight minutes
loop that hard swallow we all have from ton of time.
The Knicks had that. I think they were the ones
that were psyched out. I think the Spurs had that, Hey,
(12:13):
what we got to lose? Were young, they would say,
where some would say young, dumb and shouldn't know any better.
But they're coming in there, Hey, what we're down to?
We we believe we can win. To your point, Rob,
you always bring up they won some big ones on
the road last series, so I think they came in like, hey,
it's on them. They're at the crib and the Knicks
look sluggish. The Knicks looked nervous. The Knicks with short
(12:36):
arm and shots, turning the ball over terribly in the
first quarter. They didn't look like the veteran team, the
one that had been up to and won a couple
of games in the row. They looked shook, and I
think that was shocking to see. For me, was that
this great opportunity to really put your foot in her
throat early say it was the reverse, right, you're up thirty.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
Three to twenty two in the first quarter.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
Crowd's going crazy, and it maybe just put them out
of their misery. In fact, it was the So I
credit the Spurs Mitch Johnson getting the locked in.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
I credit Winby for staying focused. And what that I
love from Wimby.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
He got his seven foot five, seven foot six button
down low, got some easy and ones first, right right
down low.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
And if I'm the Knicks, that's scary.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
And that if that becomes what he does more often,
not that all he has to only do. He can
shoot the three. We know he's got a great jump shot.
He can bring the ball up. But if that's a
focal point for him, that's scary. So I love what
I saw from Wimby. I love the attitude for Winby.
I love that he was tough. My only concern with
Wimby specifically, Rob You know this, you've been covering the
(13:40):
league a long time. Sometimes guys go out of their
way to prove a point. You're not gonna punk me.
I'm tough, And I only worry with Winby is he's
done a few things over the last couple of series.
Now that he's gotten away with that, people have highlighted.
And you know this world we're in where things are highlighted,
and that Brunton push down. I know he's probably looking
(14:00):
at it. I know everybody's talking about it on shows,
and I just would want him to be a little
more careful because.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
The men couldn't do anything. There's no way to dove.
Speaker 6 (14:09):
Here's my theory though, Rob not theory, but just he's
already got to not that he'll get a flavorant too,
but he's already got that flagrant. If he gets another one,
I believe he's suspended and that would just be too
detrimental for that team. So he just got to keep
being tough keeping you know. I love what he's doing,
but just be careful out there when you're doing that,
because you cannot get in trouble miss a game because
(14:30):
your team desperately needs you.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
But the Knicks looked like the let the you know,
the team that was not a.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Veteran to be disappointed because you thought they would blow
them out.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
You really did.
Speaker 6 (14:40):
I thought that I thought they And last point, I
know we're gonna talk more about Jalen Brunton next uh
in one of these albums, so I'll leave.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
This, but.
Speaker 6 (14:50):
There's something going on where he hasn't been an efficient
and I thought being at home would make him more efficient,
not that he had to be, you know, shooting seventy percent,
but he looked a little out of it as well.
And they got Karl Anthony Towns to be discombobulated. And
that's also what hurt them so credited and last point
turnovers and not just turnover, rob it's what you do
(15:11):
with them. Credit the Spurs for getting twenty seven or
twenty one points off of thirteen turnovers.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
You know what, And it's got only seven points off a.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Turnover, and and that was seven off of eight turnovers, right,
is that all?
Speaker 3 (15:25):
I think the Spurs only had eight turnovers?
Speaker 6 (15:28):
Correct, said, I have less points than you had turnovers.
It's crazy, right, they turned it over a tight only
gave up seven points. The Knicks turned it over thirteen
is not that bad. They kind of got it right
in the second half. But they got twenty one points
off turnovers. That's huge.
Speaker 5 (15:43):
That ended up essentially to me being one of the
things that was the game for.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
The Spurs, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
All right, man, it should definitely a different mood even
in New York because I'm here, you know what I mean,
And people are like because now that they've lost Kelvin, Yeah,
people are looking at the flaws of the team.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
You know what I mean? Now you come looking.
Speaker 6 (16:04):
That's the one thing about big playoff series game the
game he sucks hits eight three's next game.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
We love him, this guy, he's got problems.
Speaker 6 (16:13):
Winby, Ain't that? Winby's the greatest ever? This was what
we do. This is what makes the finals great?
Speaker 3 (16:18):
All right?
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Did Wimby show

All right, coming up in about twenty eight minutes, Antonio
Daniels of course NBA Champ Series XM, NBA Radio Pelicans,
Color TV analysts, and of course a Fox Sports Radio
NBA analyst. So we'll get his take on Game three
(18:45):
Wemby and you know where this series is headed and.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
All that, because there's a lot to unpack.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
We went from two old people talking about Kelvin it
being a sweep to now here we are like, uh oh,
maybe there was a change. And I know how it
is in the playoffs. Every game is monumental. Every game
you win is monumental, and every game you lose is monumental.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
It's it's a pretty amazing thing.
Speaker 6 (19:14):
That's what makes it fun, though, Rob, you know what
I mean? Like this because this is it. This is
the last stretch. You know, if the Knicks were to sweep,
that'd be it, or if the Spurs would have swept.
Point is you know, we want our finals, you want
good games, you want you want storylines, you want all this.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Because this is it.
Speaker 5 (19:29):
Basketball is over.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
What's this it?
Speaker 6 (19:30):
So every play matters, every shot, Legacies are written or unwritten,
and so it's uh, it's it's big man. And so
that was a big game for them, them being the Spurs.
What what what a gut check?
Speaker 7 (19:42):
You know?
Speaker 6 (19:43):
Uh Cohoda's check all of that. They came right in
Madison Square. Garden saluted the President with a with a
w for the Knicks said.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Take that and take that data.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
You sleep with data, then you go, well, I'm we
will get to that, but I'm gonna go here. And
last night we saw why people have always questioned and
wonder if the Knicks are going to win a championship.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
And Kelvin, I'm here to tell you.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
That if they blow this old two lead, the two
old lead, I should say, and wind up losing to
the Spurs, it'll all be about Wimby, right and all that,
and I get it. But the reason the Knicks will
lose this series will because of will be because of
Jalen Brunson. I believe that if we go back to
(20:38):
the Jalen Brunson Knicks and hero ball and dribble dribble,
dribble dribble and either shoot it or or force it
to a teammate laid in the shot clock for it
to put up a shot, then the Knicks are going
to lose this And we got a glimpse of that
last night.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Wait a minute. He's scoring thirty two points. He matched Wimby.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Right, No, Kevin, that's not what they were doing, right,
That's not when they were winning thirteen in a row
of bakers dozen't they weren't doing that. And here we
are back in the same situation, and I'll give you
the bad brunch of numbers. His thirty eight percent usage
(21:22):
rate through three games is on pace to be the
highest and final series since Lebron in twenty fifteen that
was thirty eight point nine. Brunton has more turnovers, not
than a bakery, than assists. He has the same amount
thirteen turnovers, thirteen assists.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
No good.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Brunton has scored eighty two points in the series. You
ready on eighty one shots? Eighty two points on I
don't want to take that shots.
Speaker 5 (21:57):
I don't want to take that better.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Shooting just thirty seven percent from the field. Bronson's plus minus.
They're talking about Remember, people were saying in New York,
he's the greatest Nick ever. He's a grummer, He's the greatest,
He's a great They wanted to put him up as
the greatest Nick ever even winning anything, because he helped
(22:20):
him win Game one in San Antonio. People were talking
crazy Calvin plus minus in a series minus fourteen.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Guess what cat is? Plus thirty one?
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Who's a real MVP At this point, Bronson is the
first player in NBA history to record the following numbers
in a three game span. Eighty plus field goal attempts,
sub forty percent field goal shooting, and twelve or more
(22:54):
turnovers when guarded by Stefank. So you ready in the
NBA Finals brunching and shooting, thirty six turnovers and four assists.
If you don't win it, If the Knicks don't win
this series, Kelvin, it'll be pretty obvious as to what
(23:16):
went wrong. And that will be Jalen Brunson. As much
as they loved that guy, and he's made shots for them,
and he's won games in the fourth quarter, what do
you have thirteen and fourteen in Game one in the
fourth quarter.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
I get it, I get it.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
But there's a lot of bad brunching stuff out there
as well.
Speaker 6 (23:36):
Here's the challenge, Rob, Here's what he's fighting with. He's
fighting with mighty man mighty mouse syndrome. And what I
mean is when Weinby pushed his head down, it was
as if he was sonning them.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
They get you a little butt out of here, you know.
Speaker 6 (23:51):
And then when you get Stefan Castle, remember you saw
that when he's just Remember we were I think we
were next TOEA and he.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Just blew through them.
Speaker 6 (23:57):
Yeah, Blue ran them over. They get you a little
bit out of here. And I think he was getting
big dog dog game. And the problem with that is
when you have the Napoleon Mighty Mouse syndrome, you take
it personally and what you want to do is prove no,
I'm tough, No I'm better than, I'm stronger than. And
of course, his version of fighting back is with volume.
(24:18):
His version of fighting back is with shots. His version
of fighting back is by proving to you I'm gonna
take you out, you take you out via the buckets
and winning this game. The problem with that is, bruh,
you're going against the program. I've been giving Mike Brown.
Mike Brown credit because he had switched the program. He
understood what he had success. What he saw being a
Warriors assistant coach was how they run out that high post.
(24:40):
They'll throw it to Draymond, they throw to Andrew Bogan,
David Lee, all those guys, and they also see of
course what they do with h Sabonis when he was
up with Sacramento a lot of success there. Sabonis would
be one of the better guys in the league getting
triple doubles because going out of that Cats started to
get near triple doubles, get a lot of assists. Obviously,
he's gonna board, he's gonna score when they ran off
(25:00):
through that Jalen Brunton part of being that combo point
guard kind of thing is he forgot.
Speaker 5 (25:06):
And here's what I mean.
Speaker 6 (25:08):
There's no way I can look at my second best player,
car Anthony Towns and say, my man hasn't scored in
a fourth quarter.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
That's on me. I gotta set him up with tom
or two.
Speaker 6 (25:17):
I gotta say, get down load, big fella, go eat right,
or just say I soo here you're rock. Go kill
these little dudes that keep putting on you. We got
a little mouse in the house. I can't have my
guy MICKL Bridges only getting five shots.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
MIKEL.
Speaker 6 (25:33):
Bridges ain't a guy in East twenty, but he can't
get more than five.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
And lastly, this is the most atrocious one.
Speaker 6 (25:39):
Car Anthony Towns cannot put up ten points in a
ten attempts robed in a finals game. Men of them
fifteen in a finals game. My big dog has to
have fifteen shots because I have to keep him engaged.
I'm losing him and point guards know that. That's one
of the troubles of us not having great point guards anymore.
(26:00):
Got a bunch of combo guards. Rob's point, Chris Paul Knew. Okay,
I gotta let Blake eat. Okay, I gotta get DeAndre
some oops to keep him excited on the defensive end.
All right, Ray John Rondo, I got to feed the
big fellers. I gotta get Ray on some shots. You know,
when you look at Darren Williams, you look at all
the Steve Nash, when you just look at the guards
that we've had, Tyre's Halliburn, give him credit. He let
everybody else feast. And what did he do in the
(26:21):
fourth quarter? Rob takeover? Make big shots. Jalen Brunston has
to understand we're better is what if I were the Knicks,
Mike Brown. We're better when everyone's involved, when the ball
is moving, we're spreading them out. We're spreading weinby out,
getting him out of the paint, just sitting there because
he's waiting on you to attack or shoot a long shot.
Speaker 5 (26:39):
He's spreading the team out.
Speaker 6 (26:41):
Then we're running the ball through Cat and getting guys
excited because when you get to touch the ball field
the ball, you play defense better.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
It just goes.
Speaker 6 (26:49):
It matriculates to the whole game, and then you are
our closer. That's the game plan. We're up four to
five plus or minus. We're down four to five, but
we're in this thing. You close this thing out. It's
worked to the tune of thirteenth Straight. So if it
ain't broke, don't fix it. And again, I think he
took it personally. Stephan Castle to aggressive with him talking,
(27:11):
smack it in his head, big.
Speaker 5 (27:13):
Body him on the other when he would be on
the audit Buck.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
What about the media, you know, gassing up Cat? You
think that that played up. I'm gonna take no to that.
I know you mentioned that. I want to who mentioned
that first?
Speaker 7 (27:25):
Call her?
Speaker 5 (27:25):
And then I think afore mentioned it too.
Speaker 6 (27:27):
I don't subscribe to that because I think he's too
much of a team player.
Speaker 5 (27:32):
And it said like my guys, he loves his guys.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
But I do think he subscribed to I'm sick of
the Spurs pushing me around his game. I'm sick of
them literally bulldozing me, and I'm gonna make you take
it personally and show them when if that's the case,
I can trick you out your spot. And there's a
song shot to my guy Sahai Rapper from Atlanta. He said,
don't let them trick you off the streets, meaning don't
let them get you caught up and you mess around
(27:55):
and you know, lose. What you're doing has been successful,
and I think the Spurs have tricked him off the
streets and it got him taking it one on one
and forgetting Oh shoot, let me get back to what
we do and have been doing well.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
I just think there's a Jalen Brunson problem and it's
glossed over because of that Game.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
One, you know what I mean. It just it just
is like all the numbers Kelvin, all the numbers are
bad except except for the what do you have? It
was it thirteen or fourteen? Fourteen?
Speaker 5 (28:25):
I think it was fourteen And that fourth.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Okay, that's that's a big fourth quarter. They win.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
That game set the tone of the series, right, I
get it. In Game two, he had the shot he
made the basket right down late.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Yeah, but all the other numbers are bad. And when
they lose. You remember where we were when they lost
to Atlanta those two games. It was about Jalen Brunson
and the hero ball and two just doesn't look right.
This doesn't look like they're going to be able to
get it together and win and wear the knicks and
remember that that wasn't that long ago and amazing.
Speaker 6 (29:02):
Yeah, if you're Mike Brown, you got to remind him of that. Hey,
we all know you're one of the better one on
one scores in the league. Your a guy can get
it to make big plays.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
We know that.
Speaker 6 (29:11):
But we're better when this ball is moving. We're better
when guys get to touch it. And it ain't just
about shot attems rob It's about touching it right, just
feeling it, feeling like you're a part of it. And
when guys are just standing around, you lose that juice,
you know what I mean. And it affects defense because
you just kind of out of it. You're not when
the ball's moving, everybody touching, everybody eating a little bit,
and it keeps you active, keeps you engaged. It helps
(29:31):
on the defensive end, keep keeps your psyche in it.
And again, that's one of the troubles I believe with
not having traditional point guards anymore, is that.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
Guys sometimes lose sight of that.
Speaker 6 (29:42):
Steph Curry a combo guard, you know some of the
better players, and Edwards kind of a combo guard, more
of a two. But we just don't have a lot
of traditional point guards anymore who know how to read
the top. Okay, let me get let me let big
dog eat a little bit. All right, let me work
it around here, Let's swing it around, Let's get this
guy shot.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
Let's slow the pain.
Speaker 6 (30:00):
We're missing that sometimes, Rob, and it to me is evident,
and it has been evident with Jalen the last game
game and a half or so.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Yeah, it's I'm convinced that people will Becky Hammon might
speak up. They might run back to Becky ham and
you know what I mean. And hey, I meant to
bring that up. You're right, I've listen. She's about to
be like the seventy two Dolphins.
Speaker 6 (30:26):
Rob, you gonna pop a cork if the Knicks lose
to say, I told you a smaller guard.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
I told you the team that's exactly what would happen,
because that's what she said from history, and you know
they ran to her when they went up too oh
and whatnot and say hey, what do you say now
or whatever? And now it's just funny how one game
can change everything.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
But he just hasn't played well.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
When I just brought up the big number eighty two
points on eighty one shot, that's just not a lie.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
That ain't gonna cut it.
Speaker 7 (30:55):
Bro.
Speaker 6 (30:56):
Nobody's asking you to be shooting your smaller guard against
big in the finals.
Speaker 5 (31:00):
I get it, but you that that ain't gonna cut.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
It, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
All right, eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox, And
there's at least one person and there's no number there.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
I'm sorry, this is trash talking.
Speaker 5 (31:11):
I forgot get the number.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
At least one person we know who did not enjoy
game number three and we're gonna get to that coming
up next.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
It is the odd.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Couple right here on Fox Sports Radio, Rob Parker, kelvin
Washington on a trash talking Tuesday, And yes, that's coming up,
and we're gonna want to hear from you, so you
know what you need to do, stick and stay America.
There we got robbed we got to tell them about
M drive. Bruh, no doubt M drive. And you know
(31:44):
when they first came to meet Kelvin, I'm I don't know.
I don't know what they're talking about. I don't know
who they were.
Speaker 6 (31:50):
That truth be told, we had it, but they were like,
we want to talk to you guys, I said who.
But the fact of the matter is we flound out
about them and that we started to paying attention to
our body.
Speaker 5 (31:59):
So it's been a great combination.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Shame here and after forty you know, Cole, years after forty,
I have energy.
Speaker 5 (32:06):
Drop forty two? Who's counting?
Speaker 1 (32:07):
The weight won't move, the gym stops giving you back
what you put in.
Speaker 6 (32:12):
And you start doing all that hard work. Robin, you
start the question, is it me, am I the problem?
Speaker 3 (32:17):
It's not. It's not you. It's the testosterone. Did you
hear me?
Speaker 1 (32:21):
It's a testosterone and it declines after forty and takes
everything with it.
Speaker 5 (32:27):
AM drive is built for that, man. I tell you what.
Speaker 6 (32:30):
You wake up, you take a couple of capsules every morning.
Pop those things in, or if you like smoothies, they got.
Speaker 5 (32:36):
The powder form as well. Pop that in a smoothie
or drink.
Speaker 6 (32:38):
To go clinically tested ingredients that support healthy testosterone energy
metabolism helps me through my morning TV show.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
And here's what really got me as a scientist named
Gary Keyhole, and he built this thing almost twenty years
ago for himself after feeling the same change.
Speaker 6 (32:57):
And you know what, me and you right now, we're
trying to get right, trying to eat better, trying to
get in better shape, and M drive has definitely been
a big part of that.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
Over one million men are using it. I mean that's
that says a lot.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
A million for sure.
Speaker 6 (33:09):
And also, by the way, if you're nervous, sixty day
money back guaranteed.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
There's nothing to be nervous about.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
We're in the middle of this and let me tell you.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
This, so far, it is absolutely working.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
It is mdrive formen dot com. Use the code couple
and get twenty percent off your first order.
Speaker 5 (33:30):

M drive for men who still show up. Hey Kelvin, Yes, sir.
Speaker 5 (33:39):

A couple Rob Parker Kevin of Washington on a trash
Talking Tuesday, join by our man Antonio Daniels. He is,
of course, NBA Champs Series, Sex, NBA Radio, Pelicans TV
color analyst, Fox Sports Radio, NBA analysts, and former Spurs.
Speaker 5 (34:09):
So I'm sure he's excited about Game three. A d
what up?
Speaker 7 (34:15):
What's going on? Man? Hold on?
Speaker 1 (34:18):
I got catching that step I hear, hold on, Tony, Rob,
I love it.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Hey, what's the man?
Speaker 7 (34:25):
I got pepper my step. I ain't got no dog
in to fight here.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
No, yeah, okay, no, okay, I get you.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
But hey, I'll say this, Antonio, you could just I
was happy to see Wimby not settle Go. No, I'm
just saying to start the game, they got him involved.
It wasn't from the perimeter. He was dunk and laying
up balls whatever. He played great. A lot of people
(34:53):
wanted to count Winby out after Game two, including my
partner who thought he's not ready.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
He's only twenty.
Speaker 6 (34:59):
Yeah tell him, I said the Spurs, not Wemby. I
said Wemby was gonna do Wimby.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
No, but I'm just saying you weren't. You weren't there,
and he responded and he played very well. That's a
big time win. But Antonio, they've been doing this all postseason.
Speaker 7 (35:15):
Yes they have, Yes, they have, they have. If you
can go into the reigning champions building, regardless and win
the game seven, I think you're okay. And again I
think this medicine six. Obviously, I don't think that's gonna
happen because I don't think San Antonio is gonna win
four times in a row. But I will say this,
(35:40):
they get tomorrow, Well, I got interesting yesterday. It's not
very very interesting yesterday. I bet yesterday was a huge
game for both sides. Because this story obviously is not
on the submer side.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
There's never been.
Speaker 7 (35:56):
A team that b loost the first two games at
home with the home court and come back and won
the series in the finals. Never happened.
Speaker 3 (36:04):
Never happened, right, And then there's.
Speaker 7 (36:05):
Never been a team that crost the first three games
and came back and win the next four period. So
history wasn't on the suburb side to start off with,
but to watch them respond the way that they responded
and here's the issue though, fellas. Right now they're playing
a six male rotation. Yeah, they're playing a six mail
(36:25):
road station. They got them started vibe in Dylan Harper
because Kelvin Johnson's not playing well. Luke Cornett's not playing well.
Harrelton Bond isn't playing at all. Carter Bryant has basically
been thrust in the lineup to do the hack of
Mitchell Robinson. They're playing with a six man rotation. I
am interesting to see how this team responds after one
(36:49):
day off as opposed to two.
Speaker 6 (36:53):
That's an interesting point because you know they I just
had a seven game series, and you know, and and
it's a lot of them they're either young or this
is first second year. So trying to continue to go
through this grind. Let me have me stay here. Why
why did you when Rob While you know Wes we
don't often agree, but when he started talking about going
through and going down low with Wimben, you kind of
(37:13):
I agree wimby getting activated getting aggressive sometimes you know,
he'll go the whole half with four shots and I
just think that's unacceptable.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
Involved And I.
Speaker 7 (37:27):
Wasn't. I didn't stop at Rob saying getting Weinby involved.
You know, here's the thing, because San Antonio's home for me,
So after every game, it's much louder it's here than
it is. Okay, okay, So what always happens when this
burs lose and Wimby shoots four three's, people say go inside,
(37:49):
oh what are you shooting threes? Four? But then the
next game he goes five to nine for three and
no one says a word. His shot selection is only
in question when they lose. That's my issue. Wemby is
closer to Kevin Durant than he as to Sequille O'Neil agreed.
That's the free reality of regardless that to him being
seventy five, he wants to shoot jump shots. And I
(38:12):
get what everybody's saying about him playing closer to the rim,
and I am all in favor of that.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
That's all I'm saying that. That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
I'm not saying that he can't chew from the perimeter
or arm against that. I just like the way that
they got him involved early and his first four baskets
were all around the rim. It just to me felt like,
you know, he's not going to just settle for perimeter
or outside stuff.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
That's all now the.
Speaker 7 (38:39):
Question that you ask yourself and Mike Brown talked about
this postgame yesterday. The New York Knicks dropped the ball
yesterday on a ton of coverages. Do you realize coming
into last night's game, Wemby had one lob one lob
that he had gotten the first two games all of
(39:00):
him yesterday, right, the attention to detail was different for
the Knicks. They dropped the ball on their coverages and
you can see them in the first two players of
the game. You can see them Stefan Cassel being aggressive.
What's huge for the Smurgs yesterday and it'll be huge
when the Smalls moving forward?
Speaker 3 (39:18):
All right, I want to get here.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
So the criticism he just said, the Wimby stuff, and
the same thing comes to the Knicks with Jalen Brunson
when he does the How well is he playing right now?
Speaker 3 (39:30):
Antonio?
Speaker 1 (39:31):
I mean, he had the big fourteen point fourth quarter
in Game one, he made the big shot in Game
two that put them ahead. But he's scored eighty two
points in the series on eighty one shots. He's shooting
thirty what is it, four percent from the field. I
mean there's a lot of bad numbers. Is plus minus
(39:51):
is negative fourteen. By comparison, cats is plus thirty one.
How is Jalen Brunson playing to you.
Speaker 7 (40:02):
Lee, He's playing great and the fourth okay, And that's
the easiest way I can put it. But the difference
is he's playing poorly and from quarter one to three
Carl Anthony Towns is playing great. From quarter once to three,
Karl Anthony Towns has not scored in the fourth quarter yet.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
Would you that's ridiculous, But.
Speaker 7 (40:24):
This is this is the issue. And I felt like
yesterday with the Knicks, regardless of the outcome, let's, by
some chance, say Stefan Castle misses that shot, that that right,
and the Knicks come back and win. Yesterday was the
first time in twelve to thirteen games the New York
(40:45):
Knicks turned the cock back to that old offense. There
it wasn't Karl Anthony Towns involved. Let's put col Anthony
Towns in the corner and allow Zeland Bunson to go
one on one. That's going to get you in the
problems when you're playing this, it's on your spurs. The
two good defensively, all right.
Speaker 6 (41:04):
Get you out of here. On this one real quick
Game four? What are you thinking? What are you seeing?
Speaker 7 (41:09):
I have I beg this Spurs yesterday. I bet the
Knicks tomorrow. I beg the Nick tomorrow. And the reason
not picking the Nick tomorrow is because one game in
between games makes a difference when you look at having
two days in between, and Whenby spoke about this and
this postgame buster when you have two games and you
can step away from the game for a day. You
(41:31):
saw it when being the park in New York painting
he was the under port got shot up. So you
can disconnect from the game for a day, and then
on the next day you can connect. You can reconnect
and dive back in. When you only have one day
in between, there is no time to disconnect and you're
only playing with the six man rotation. I'm interested to
(41:52):
see again how much energy the Spurs half for game four.
Can they match the energy they have for Game three
with two days off as opposed to game four?
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Just having won, Hey, and I got to I'm impressed
by Wemby to get a rat to stand still.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
So he can paint him was amazing to me. In
Central Park, we know.
Speaker 5 (42:12):
You could park.
Speaker 1 (42:20):
Pray for me Man Hey, I'm going against you. I'm
going with the Spurs. I'm going to I'm gonna say this.
People gonna think I'm crazy. I don't think the Knicks
are gonna win another game. That's where I'm at.
Speaker 7 (42:36):
Well, you know what that first two games after this
won the first two games, everybody was telling me that
the Spurs were going to win a game.
Speaker 3 (42:44):
Yep.
Speaker 7 (42:45):
It's amazing how one game changes everybody's But it's more.
Speaker 1 (42:49):
Than to me, it's more than one game because the
Spurs the fourteen oh run to tie the game, and
I know they lost that game, but they've played better
to me the last two games. And even after they
got beat up with a forty two point second quarter,
that came right back in the third quarter, Antonio came
right back and.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
Took the lead. That's all I'm saying. All Right, we
gotta run all rank you.
Speaker 6 (43:10):
We gotta get up to it. Trash talk is up next.
A d appreciate you as always, all right, no doubt
ad there. We'll get that up on the pod. If
you miss any of that. Trash talking Tuesday eight seven,
seven ninety nine on Fox, hit us up.
Speaker 5 (43:22):
It's THEIAKOBL Fox Sports Radio
